BitMine’s stock price has rebounded over the past few days, hovering near its highest level in more than a month. BMNR has surged 32% from its year-to-date low, with the recovery gaining momentum as investors anticipate the company’s transition from a cash-burning business into a potential free cash flow machine.
Tom Lee’s BitMine stock has done relatively well in the past few weeks, helped by Ethereum’s resilience. Ethereum price jumped to $1,933 today, its highest level since June 2nd.

— Bitmine (NYSE-BMNR) $ETH (@BitMNR) July 20, 2026 Data shows that spot Ethereum ETF inflows have continued rising. These funds added $38 million in assets on Monday, bringing this month’s net inflows to $271 million. The ongoing ETF inflows is a sign that investors are starting their accumulation.
BitMine has continued buying ETH tokens. It now holds tokens worth over $11.5 billion, with its ETH holdings rising to over 5.77 million. CoinGecko data shows that ETH has a circulating supply of 120 million coins.
BitMine’s goal is to hold 5% of ETH in circulation, meaning that the goal is to have 6 million coins. As such, if the accumulation process continues, it means that the company will conclude its purchases in August or September.
The company has a relatively unique business model since it is accumulating ETH, a token that pays investors through staking. Its goal is to stake all the 6 million coins and start making a monthly return.
As such, BitMine will now transition from being a highly dilutive company into a cash flow machine. In terms of dilution, it has boosted its outstanding shares from about 2 million in May last year to over 603 million today. It did this to get adequate cash to buy its ETH coins and invest in its moonshoots.
Therefore, after ending its Ethereum buying, BitMine will start minting cash. For one, Ethereum now has a staking yield of 3%, meaning that the company will be making about 180,000 coins a year.
The value of these coins will depend on the underlying ETH price. At the current price, these coins would be worth over $347 million. If it jumps and retests its all-time high of $4,953, these coins will be worth close to $900 million.
BitMine has an exciting cost structure. It has less than ten employees and has no debt in its balance sheet. Its biggest cost is the dividends to the BMNP holders, which stand at less than $40 million a year.
This means that the company will start to use its staking revenue to paying back dividends, repurchasing its stock, or making venture investments.
BitMine’s business model is different from Strategy, which has spent billions of dollars accumulating Bitcoin, an asset that does not produce any income.
BitMine stock chart | Source: TradingView
The daily chart shows that the BMNR stock has bounced back in the past few days. It has soared from a low of $12.90 in June to $16.63 today. It has already moved slightly above the 25-day Exponential Moving Average.
The stock has already jumped above the 25-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA). It is also nearing the important resistance level of $17.80, its lowest level in February and March this year. A move above that level will point to more gains, potentially to the psychological level of $20. It may then continue its strong uptrend over time.
IREN Limited (IREN) witnessed a jump in share price last session on above-average trading volume. The latest trend in earnings estimate revisions for the stock doesn't suggest further strength down the road.

The stock market is having a sale right now on memory and storage stocks. Many of the biggest, high-flying names that have been dominant on the market this year are all down big. Micron Technology (MU +6.24%), Western Digital (WDC +8.36%), and Sandisk (SNDK +8.01%) have all declined by more than 20%, with the largest declines on this list at over 36%.
Is this a great reckoning taking place in the industry, or is this just a brief pause before the next stage of the rally for these growth stocks? Here's a look at how much these stocks are down right now, how their valuations look, and if they could be good buys on the dip.
Micron has been iconic of the run-up in memory stocks this year, with its valuation at one point reaching nearly $1.4 trillion, making it among the most valuable companies in the world. That's around what electric vehicle maker Tesla is worth right now.
It's been a tremendous run for Micron, whose shares have soared more than 1,000% in five years. But in the past month, they're down roughly 24%. The big question is whether this is profit-taking or a sign of a greater bearish trend ahead.
Micron's fundamentals have been impressive as the company has generated an incredible $90 billion in revenue over just its past four quarters, and its profit during that stretch has totaled more than $50 billion. It was only a few years ago that the company was struggling to stay out of the red.

The boom in artificial intelligence (AI) has driven significant growth for the business. Trading at a lowly five times its estimated future profits (based on analyst expectations), the stock is an incredibly cheap-looking buy. But there is a risk: if the shortage in memory and storage products comes to an end and prices end up coming down, the party could be over. For investors who believe AI has unlocked a new normal in demand for memory and storage products, Micron's stock could still soar and be a good buy.
Western Digital One stock that's down even more than Micron is Western Digital, whose products are known for their external hard drives and the excellent stability they provide consumers with. In the past month, the stock has fallen by 35%, but its five-year gains remain impressive at around 900%.
As more data is stored in the cloud, there's a greater need for backups and for the storage solutions Western Digital offers. It has been experiencing strong growth as well, but its numbers are nowhere near as impressive as Micron's. Revenue over the past 12 months has totaled $11.8 billion, and profits have also been excellent, totaling $6.4 billion.

Western Digital may be a bit less volatile in its growth, but it's also a more expensive stock to own, as it's trading at 25 times its estimated future earnings, which is a bit rich given that the S&P 500 average is a multiple of less than 22. This is a stock that may be due to go lower, as its growth hasn't been as strong as Micron's to justify its massive run-up in recent years.
Sandisk Sandisk spun off from Western Digital last year, and since then, it's been scorching hot, with gains totaling close to 3,900%. It's an astounding return that has resulted in the stock now having a higher valuation ($206 billion) than Western Digital ($168 billion), the company it spun off from.
Its NAND flash memory has been in high demand as it's used in memory cards and USB drives. With such tremendous gains, however, it may not be surprising to learn that its losses are the most significant on this list, with Sandisk's stock falling 36% in the past month.

This business has turned around sharply from being unprofitable in recent fiscal years to now generating strong profit margins. The sudden and rapid improvement in its earnings due to rising prices, however, raises concerns about its dependence on and need for high prices to be profitable. That, combined with the stock also not being all that cheap, trading at 21 times its forward earnings, is a reason I wouldn't rush to buy Sandisk, even despite it trading lower of late.
Sandisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) stock climbed over 10% in Tuesday’s session as bullish analyst commentary and a broader rally in technology stocks fueled buying in the memory-chip maker.
Nasdaq futures rose 1.30%, while S&P 500 futures gained 0.39%, supporting risk appetite across the technology sector.
Morgan Stanley Sees Memory Cycle StrengtheningMorgan Stanley analyst Joseph Moore said the recent pullback in U.S. memory stocks presents an attractive buying opportunity. He cited persistent data center memory shortages and forecast memory prices will rise at least 25% from the second quarter to the third quarter of 2026.
Moore said the current memory cycle remains driven almost entirely by data center demand, while weaker consumer electronics, PC and smartphone markets have weighed on investor sentiment. However, the firm’s channel checks found no evidence that supply constraints in the data center market are easing.
The analyst also said memory shortages could become even more severe in 2027 and 2028, adding that Morgan Stanley is buying the sector on weakness.
The positive analyst commentary comes as investors remain optimistic about the next phase of the memory cycle. A stronger broader market is also boosting higher-beta technology stocks, helping SanDisk outperform the wider market before the opening bell.
AI Memory Pricing Drives Micron SentimentHis reasoning is simple—if AI-driven price increases begin to weigh on PC and smartphone makers, or encourage new competitors to enter the market, today’s supercycle could prove shorter than investors expect.
He flagged expectations for overall memory demand to rise more than 50% to 60% next year, while AI-specific demand could climb 60% to 100%.

Britská společnost teprve začíná budovat svůj dodavatelský řetězec a my už v této fázi sledujeme velký zájem českých firem, které chtějí usilovat o svou pozici v globální konkurenci,“ uvedl člen představenstva společnosti ČEZ Tomáš Pleskač.

A decentralized exchange (DEX) backed by Robinhood is expanding into tokenized stocks and derivatives as platforms compete to build onchain markets for traditional assets.
Arcus, a DEX built by the team behind decentralized trading platform dYdX and backed by Robinhood Crypto, launched tokenized stocks and perpetual futures on Robinhood Chain on Tuesday, according to an announcement shared with Cointelegraph.
The company previously launched spot markets when Robinhood Chain went live on July 1. Arcus offers more than 95 stock tokens, perpetual markets and crypto assets through a self-custodial trading account, with Paxos-issued stablecoin USDG serving as its primary collateral and settlement asset.
The launch comes as crypto companies and financial platforms increasingly compete to build infrastructure for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), while regulatory questions around access and product structure remain a key challenge for the sector.
Self-custody shapes approach to onchain tradingArcus’s launch includes tokenized versions of stock in major US companies such as Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, Meta, Google and Amazon, as well as perpetual markets tied to equities, exchange-traded funds, commodities, indexes and crypto assets.
The platform uses a self-custodial model, allowing users to retain control of their assets rather than deposit them with a centralized exchange. Arcus uses Privy, a wallet infrastructure company that helps applications create and manage crypto wallets, allowing users to sign up through email or social logins.
Source: Robinhood Chain
Users who already hold crypto can connect existing self-custodial wallets, including MetaMask, Ledger and WalletConnect, with the company citing support for additional Ethereum-compatible wallets.
Tokenized stocks face regulatory questionsArcus said its stock tokens are unavailable in the US, Canada, the UK and other restricted jurisdictions, highlighting the different regulatory approaches to tokenized securities across markets.
Cointelegraph contacted Arcus for clarification on the restrictions but did not receive a response by publication time.
Regulators in markets including the US and UK have been examining how blockchain-based representations of traditional assets fit within existing financial frameworks, with questions around custody, ownership and market structure being addressed.
The launch adds another player to the growing race to build infrastructure for tokenized assets, with platforms including Coinbase-backed Base exploring ways to bring traditional financial products onchain.
Magazine: Is Robinhood Chain’s success bullish or bearish for ETH the asset?

The team behind dYdX just launched a new exchange that lets you trade Tesla stock and a 50x leveraged perpetual contract from the same self-custodial wallet. Arcus, which went live on July 1 on Robinhood Chain, is what happens when a DeFi trading powerhouse and a retail brokerage giant decide traditional finance needs to live onchain.
The platform already processed nearly 285,000 transactions in its first week, racking up $33 million in trading volume and $15 million in total value locked.
What Arcus actually does Here’s the pitch: around 95 tokenized stock tokens available for fee-free trading, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. No waiting for the NYSE to open. No settlement delays. Just onchain representations of equities that trade whenever you want them to.
Then there’s the spicier side. Arcus also offers 35 real-world asset perpetual futures contracts with leverage up to 50x. In English: you can take outsized bets on traditional assets using DeFi infrastructure, with no intermediary holding your funds.
The real kicker is composability. Tokenized stocks on Arcus can be used as collateral for perpetual futures positions. So if you’re holding Apple stock tokens, you can put them to work backing a leveraged trade.
Arcus runs on Robinhood Chain, a Layer-2 network built using Arbitrum Orbit technology. The platform is accessible in over 120 countries, though notably not in the US, Canada, or the UK. Eddie Zhang serves as CEO of the project, with dYdX founder Antonio Juliano sitting on the board. The team has been careful to note that Arcus operates separately from the dYdX v4 Chain, positioning it as a distinct product rather than a rebrand.
What this means for investors The planned ARCUS governance token is the obvious thing to watch. The team has indicated reserved allocations for the existing dYdX community, which could create interesting dynamics for current dYdX token holders. No tokens are available for trading yet.
The 50x leverage on RWA perpetuals deserves scrutiny. The platform’s decision to exclude the US, Canada, and the UK from its 120-country footprint is a preemptive compliance move, but the regulatory landscape for tokenized securities remains deeply unsettled globally.

SemiAnalysis: The power gap in AI data centers is widening, and reciprocating engines may become the leading technology for behind-the-meter power supply.
Independent semiconductor and AI research firm SemiAnalysis reports that the rapid growth in AI computing power demand is transforming power supply models for data centers. Reciprocating engines, historically used primarily as backup power during grid outages, are being repositioned as baseload power sources operating around the clock. This year, reciprocating engine manufacturers have signed contracts for roughly 1GW of behind-the-meter (BTM) power projects, with annual new supply volumes projected to exceed 4GW in 2027 and 2028. After modeling U.S. grid capacity, SemiAnalysis notes that existing power reserves are expected to be exhausted between 2027 and 2028, and planned additions to utility-scale power generation capacity through 2030 remain insufficient to meet the new load demand from data centers. Combining its data center model, SemiAnalysis estimates that roughly 140GW of potential data center projects have not yet finalized power supply contracts, and many of these will likely adopt behind-the-meter power models to bypass grid expansion bottlenecks. Among behind-the-meter power technologies including reciprocating engines, aeroderivative gas turbines, and fuel cells, SemiAnalysis projects reciprocating engines will capture the largest market share. The firm cites their combination of low cost, rapid deployment, modular scalability, and stronger financing capabilities as key advantages, while equipment manufacturers including Caterpillar, INNIO, and Cummins are expanding production capacity to support large-scale deployments in the coming years. As AI data centers continue to expand, on-site self-generated power is evolving from a traditional backup resource to critical energy infrastructure, and reciprocating engines are poised to become a key solution for bridging power gaps in the computing power era.

Ionic Digital to list on Nasdaq on July 28 under stock ticker IOND.
Ionic Digital expects its shares to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on July 28, after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) declared its registration statement effective, clearing the final major regulatory hurdle for the company’s long-planned listing. According to a company statement, Ionic’s stock ticker will be “IOND”. The firm opted for a direct listing rather than a traditional initial public offering (IPO), meaning it will not issue new shares nor receive any proceeds from the transaction; instead, existing registered shareholders will be able to sell their holdings on the public market. Ionic was originally formed to take over Bitcoin mining assets from the Celsius estate, before pivoting to position itself as a broader digital infrastructure company serving artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads. The company first submitted its Form S-1 registration statement earlier this month. Ahead of the listing, Ionic has raised roughly $400 million to support data center construction and fuel its business shift from Bitcoin mining to a wider digital infrastructure focus.
So, all things being equal, while this is a nice bounce, it really hasn’t fundamentally changed much as far as technical analysis is concerned. We’re just seeing more of the same behavior. There are, more likely than not, going to be a lot of sellers just above waiting to get involved, so at the first signs of exhaustion, there will be people very concerned about holding onto silver, would be my estimate.
To the downside, the $50 level has been both support and resistance in the past, mainly resistance though. It has been the top of the market multiple times until recently, going all the way back to the 1970s and the Hunt brothers trying to corner the market. Because of that, I would anticipate a lot of noise in that area if we do start to fall apart.

Brisbane, Queensland, Australia--(Newsfile Corp. - July 21, 2026) - Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd (TSXV: GMG) (OTCQX: GMGMF) ("GMG" or the "Company") is pleased to announce a global exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Alstom (EPA: ALO) for testing and developing graphene products for the rail industry — specifically for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. Craig Nicol, CEO & Managing Director of the Company, commented "We are thrilled to be partnering with Alstom, one of the world's most recognised names in rail and transportation.
Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd (TSX-V:GMG, OTCQX:GMGMF) has signed a global exclusive memorandum of understanding (MOU) with French rail manufacturer Alstom to test and develop graphene products for the rail industry, with an initial focus on heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Under the agreement, GMG and Alstom will collaborate on evaluating, developing and commercializing graphene-based products for rail HVAC applications. The MOU is global and exclusive, according to the company.
Alstom is focused exclusively on the rail industry, producing products and services including high-speed and regional trains, metros, trams, signalling systems and rail infrastructure. The company employs about 87,800 people across 61 countries and reported revenue of €19.2 billion for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026.
GMG CEO Craig Nicol wrote that the agreement provides an opportunity to introduce the company's graphene technology into the rail sector.
"Rail systems demand the highest standards of performance, durability and efficiency — and we believe graphene is uniquely positioned to deliver meaningful improvements across a range of applications,” Nicol said. “We look forward to working closely with the Alstom team to develop and commercialise graphene products that will help shape the future of rail."
GMG non-executive chairman and director Jack Perkowski described the agreement as a significant milestone for the company and said it could create an additional source of revenue.
"The fact that a company of Alstom's scale and technical sophistication has chosen to partner exclusively with GMG to evaluate develop and commercialize graphene-based products for the rail industry is a powerful validation of our technology and our team's capabilities,” Perkowski said. “This arrangement has the potential to open a new revenue stream for GMG and reinforces our strategy of targeting large, established industries where graphene's unique properties can deliver measurable, real-world impact."
Peter Schiff, chief economist and global strategist at Euro Pacific Asset Management, has warned that the AI stocks bubble may be about to burst amid the ongoing selloff in Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: SPCX) shares.
Schiff believes Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not a bubble. However, he said that the AI stocks bubble has ‘likely already popped’, according to an X post on July 20, which Finbold analyzed on July 21.
“AI isn’t a bubble, but AI stocks are. The bubble has likely already popped,” Schiff noted.
Schiff highlighted that the ongoing SpaceX stock selloff could be a leading indicator of the ongoing AI stocks bubble burst. Furthermore, he argued that AI stocks in the United States are facing intense competition from low-cost Chinese AI models led by Moonshot AI’s Kimi K3 and DeepSeek Chat.
“SpaceX closed under $120, near the low of the day. That’s more than 11% below the IPO price. The chart is not looking good,” Schiff added in a follow-up post.
Which AI stocks are good to buy in 2026? While Schiff points to an AI stocks bubble burst, AI companies that are aligned with enterprise spending and mainstream adoption of technology are well positioned to benefit. For instance, despite Micron Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: MU) stock dropping more than 28% over the past 30 days, trading at $865.46 at press time, 30 Wall Street analysts surveyed by TipRanks have set an average 12-month target of about $1,569.29, thereby suggesting a potential 81.32% upside.
Additionally, although Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ: NVDA) shares have dropped 2.57% over the past 30 days, trading at about $203.28 at the time of publication, 37 Wall Street analysts surveyed by TipRanks have set an average 12-month target of $309.94, which signals a possible 52.47% upside.
Meanwhile, 17 Wall Street analysts surveyed by TipRanks have set a 12-month average price target for Sandisk Corp. (NASDAQ: SNDK) at $2,041.88, despite the shares falling more than 39% over the past 30 days, to trade at about $1,390 at the time of reporting.
As such, Schiff’s forecast of the AI stocks bubble burst could be invalidated if Wall Street analysts’ targets are achieved over the next 12 months.

Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) involvement with the artificial intelligence (AI) ‘boom’ has been undergoing numerous and rapid changes in 2026 and, according to Rothschild & Co Redburn analysts, the latest shift is a positive one.
Specifically, the Wall Street analysis firm noted that Meta’s move from consumer AI models to AI tools for small businesses is a step in the right direction, as it explained it would increase margins and returns, widen the technology giant’s moat, and prolong the growth runway.
Thus, Rothschild & Co Redburn maintained the ‘Buy’ rating for Mark Zuckerberg’s firm and increased the 12-month stock price target from $900 to $1,000 – from a 38.5% upside from the press time price of $649.83 to 53.89%.
Elsewhere, the latest Meta stock rating and price target revision is in line with the attitude generally displayed by Wall Street analysts. Indeed, the blue-chip technology giant is overall considered a ‘Strong Buy,’ with 35 positive and 5 ‘Neutral’ recommendations.
Similarly, the average Meta stock price target for the next 12 months is bullish as it forecasts a 24.79% rally to $805.98, per the data Finbold retrieved from TipRanks on July 21.
Wall Street sets Meta stock price target for next 12 months. Source: TipRanks Notably, however, despite being directionally in line, Rothschild & Co Redburn’s forecast is substantially higher than most estimates and just $15 short of the Street high of $1,015.
Meanwhile, there is a risk that the overwhelming institutional positivity toward Meta shares might be obfuscating a series of systemic risks for the company.
To begin with, Mark Zuckerberg’s company has, so far, been stumbling through the ‘AI boom,’ with a series of projects that were, ultimately, either deprioritized or dropped.
Additionally, previous remarks that the firm likely has a use for its compute led to a decision to rent out said capacity, with Anthropic coming in as a likely buyer.
The world’s second AI company is already a subscriber to SpaceX’s (NASDAQ: SPCX) data centers, and its entry into the game casts as big a question regarding demand as the decisions to rent out by several blue-chip giants do regarding supply.
Lastly, Meta Platforms’ overall position might be weaker than it appears at face value, considering the staggering scale of its ‘hidden debt,’ while the overall $1.65 trillion figure for it and four other technology firms could be signalling that the entire sector is unstable.

Mark Zuckerberg has a new flex: taking business calls while riding a jet ski wearing Meta (NASDAQ:META | META Price Prediction)’s Ray-Ban Display glasses. $799 smart glasses In a Complex interview published in early July 2026, the CEO said, “The other person could not tell that I was on it.” He credited a microphone in the nose pad that filters wind noise. “You could literally be in a wind tunnel and it would sound completely clear to the person on the other side.” He also noted “you don’t necessarily want to tell the other person you’re on a jet ski.”
It is a fun anecdote with a sobering backdrop.
The Glasses Zuckerberg Can’t Stop Talking About Meta’s glasses lineup ranges from the $379 Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) to the $799 Meta Ray-Ban Display, the company’s first consumer glasses with a built-in display, unveiled at Connect in September 2025. The Display model includes a Neural Band wristband that reads forearm muscle signals for gesture control.
Zuckerberg’s pitch centers on one number: nearly 2 billion people already wear vision-correction glasses. He compares the moment to the flip phone’s demise. “In five years or whatever, all of the flip phones were going to be smartphones, and that’s basically how I feel about glasses today,” he said.
His case for glasses over phones emphasizes presence. Glasses let people stay engaged with those around them while an AI assistant “see what you see, hear what you hear, talk to you throughout the day.” That is the core of what he calls “personal super intelligence,” contrasted with a future run by “one big AI,” which he calls “a bad future, no matter how good the AI is.”
The Multi-Billion-Dollar Reality Reality Labs, the Meta division building the glasses, lost $19.2 billion in 2025. Spending continues rising: Meta’s 2026 capital expenditure guidance runs as high as $145 billion.

Zuckerberg’s bull case rests on momentum. Glasses sales reportedly tripled over the past year, per Meta’s January 2026 earnings call, and he has called them “some of the fastest growing consumer electronics in history.” His justification echoes the Meta playbook: “The formula for our company has always been to build experiences that can get to billions of people and focus on monetizing them once you get to scale.”
A Courtroom Complication In February 2026, a judge threatened contempt-of-court sanctions against members of Zuckerberg’s entourage for wearing recording-capable Meta glasses into a courtroom where recording was banned.
Whether this flex ages well depends on whether the glasses bet converts from a fast-growing curiosity into the profit engine Zuckerberg keeps promising investors. Right now, the audio is crystal clear. The economics remain uncertain.

CompaniesJuly 21 (Reuters) - Tesla (TSLA.O), opens new tab on Tuesday expanded its robotaxi service to Orlando and Tampa, as the electric-vehicle maker races to prove that it can scale its autonomous ride-hailing business beyond its initial launch markets.
The move comes a day before Tesla reports second-quarter earnings, with Wall Street closely watching the progress on robotaxis, which underpin much of the company's valuation as CEO Elon Musk shifts focus toward artificial intelligence, autonomous driving and humanoid robots.

Tesla launched its robotaxi service in Austin in June last year and expanded to Dallas and Houston earlier this year and Miami this month. The company has also been conducting supervised testing in California's San Francisco Bay Area.
Investors have questioned the pace of the rollout after Tesla missed several expansion targets. In response, Musk has said the company was deliberately taking a cautious approach, and that rigorous safety testing was the main constraint to faster deployment of the service.
Unlike rivals such as Alphabet-owned (GOOGL.O), opens new tab Waymo, which relies on lidar sensors, Tesla's robotaxi system uses cameras and AI-based software to navigate. Tesla plans to eventually deploy its purpose-built Cybercab vehicle, which does not have pedals or a steering wheel.

One of the fastest-growing brands in the American dairy aisle just went dark, and a cyberattack is the reason.
In a securities filing on July 16, 2026, Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO | KO Price Prediction) disclosed that its Fairlife dairy subsidiary was hit by a ransomware attack that breached its IT systems, including production-related systems. Fairlife’s U.S. production operations are “temporarily suspended,” though Canadian operations are unaffected. The Fairlife hack is now rippling toward grocery shelves, and the Coca-Cola ransomware disclosure leaves the key question unanswered: when production comes back.
What Coca-Cola Has Confirmed, And What It Hasn’t Coca-Cola says product quality and safety have not been impacted. The company has not given a restoration timeline, and as of this writing, no ransomware group has claimed responsibility. Whether customer, employee, or partner data was stolen, and whether Coca-Cola is being extorted, both remain unknown. On the attacker’s identity and any ransom demand, the responsible answer is that we simply do not know.
The company says it activated its incident response and business continuity protocols, is working with outside cybersecurity advisors, and has notified law enforcement.
Why Fairlife Matters More Than Its Size Suggests Fairlife has scaled fast. Its sales surpassed $1 billion in 2022, up from an estimated $90 million in 2015, and more recent estimates put 2024 sales at roughly $4 billion. The $1 billion figure marks when the brand crossed the threshold. It has grown well past that since.
Coca-Cola bet heavily on that trajectory. It acquired Fairlife outright in 2020, and the total price, including earn-outs, reached roughly $7.4 billion over five years, the largest brand acquisition in Coca-Cola’s 133-year history. Fairlife’s ultra-filtered milk and Core Power protein shakes rode, and helped drive, the modern high-protein eating trend, a wave amplified by GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic. This is a strategic crown jewel for Atlanta.
Act now: the analyst who called NVIDIA in 2010 just named his top 10 AI stocks — and Coca-Cola didn't make the cut. Grab the names FREE today.
What It Means For Store Shelves A production suspension at a brand this large does not stay invisible for long, and history shows why. When Arizona Beverages was hit by ransomware in 2019, and when grocery distributor UNFI was struck in 2025, both incidents caused production and distribution disruptions that ran for weeks and left empty shelves in their wake. Without a restoration timeline, a similar risk exists here.
Fairlife is a top seller in protein-fortified dairy, a category with few direct competitors. When a commoditized brand goes offline, shoppers barely notice because rivals fill the gap. When a category leader with few substitutes goes dark, the hole is harder to plug. A prolonged Fairlife shortage would therefore have an outsized effect on shelf availability.
The Bigger Takeaway The market has taken notice without panicking. KO closed at $82.12 on July 20, down 2.53% over the prior week yet still up 19.05% year to date. Polymarket traders now assign a 79.5% probability that Q2 global unit case volume growth comes in below 3.5%, a downshift from Q1’s 3% global volume print. The same crowd still gives an 87.5% probability that Coca-Cola beats consensus when it reports on July 28.
For shoppers, the message is measured. Coca-Cola says the product is safe, Canadian supply is running, and recovery work is underway. But if the outage stretches on, the milk brand cyberattack that began as an SEC filing could end as a visible gap in the dairy case, and a Fairlife shortage would be the clearest sign that a digital attack reached all the way to the grocery shelf.

Uber Technologies (UBER - Free Report) is one of the stocks most watched by Zacks.com visitors lately. So, it might be a good idea to review some of the factors that might affect the near-term performance of the stock.
Shares of this ride-hailing company have returned +1% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's -0.6% change. The Zacks Internet - Services industry, to which Uber belongs, has lost 3.9% over this period. Now the key question is: Where could the stock be headed in the near term?
Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.
Earnings Estimate RevisionsHere at Zacks, we prioritize appraising the change in the projection of a company's future earnings over anything else. That's because we believe the present value of its future stream of earnings is what determines the fair value for its stock.
Our analysis is essentially based on how sell-side analysts covering the stock are revising their earnings estimates to take the latest business trends into account. When earnings estimates for a company go up, the fair value for its stock goes up as well. And when a stock's fair value is higher than its current market price, investors tend to buy the stock, resulting in its price moving upward. Because of this, empirical studies indicate a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and short-term stock price movements.
For the current quarter, Uber is expected to post earnings of $0.83 per share, indicating a change of +31.8% from the year-ago quarter. The Zacks Consensus Estimate has changed -0.1% over the last 30 days.
The consensus earnings estimate of $2.98 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of -43.8%. This estimate has changed +1.2% over the last 30 days.
For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $4.43 indicates a change of +48.6% from what Uber is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed +0.4%.
With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool -- the Zacks Rank -- is a more conclusive indicator of a stock's near-term price performance, as it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for Uber.
The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:
12 Month EPS
Revenue Growth ForecastWhile earnings growth is arguably the most superior indicator of a company's financial health, nothing happens as such if a business isn't able to grow its revenues. After all, it's nearly impossible for a company to increase its earnings for an extended period without increasing its revenues. So, it's important to know a company's potential revenue growth.
In the case of Uber, the consensus sales estimate of $14.2 billion for the current quarter points to a year-over-year change of +12.3%. The $57.89 billion and $66.86 billion estimates for the current and next fiscal years indicate changes of +11.3% and +15.5%, respectively.
Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryUber reported revenues of $13.2 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +14.5%. EPS of $0.72 for the same period compares with $0.83 a year ago.
Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $13.28 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of -0.59%. The EPS surprise was +2.86%.
Over the last four quarters, Uber surpassed consensus EPS estimates three times. The company topped consensus revenue estimates three times over this period.
ValuationWithout considering a stock's valuation, no investment decision can be efficient. In predicting a stock's future price performance, it's crucial to determine whether its current price correctly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects.
Comparing the current value of a company's valuation multiples, such as its price-to-earnings (P/E), price-to-sales (P/S), and price-to-cash flow (P/CF), to its own historical values helps ascertain whether its stock is fairly valued, overvalued, or undervalued, whereas comparing the company relative to its peers on these parameters gives a good sense of how reasonable its stock price is.
As part of the Zacks Style Scores system, the Zacks Value Style Score (which evaluates both traditional and unconventional valuation metrics) organizes stocks into five groups ranging from A to F (A is better than B; B is better than C; and so on), making it helpful in identifying whether a stock is overvalued, rightly valued, or temporarily undervalued.
Uber is graded C on this front, indicating that it is trading at par with its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.
Bottom LineThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Uber. However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

Giorgia Abeltino, head of government affairs and public policy for Google Cloud EMEA, said Nuvem was part of a wider vision for Portugal and Europe to invest in the strategic infrastructure underpinning the digital economy.
Subsea cables form the backbone of the world wide web, carrying more than 95% of global data traffic.
Two high-capacity subsea cables already link Portugal with other continents — the Google-owned Equiano cable that runs to South Africa via other African countries, and the EllaLink that runs to Brazil from Sines.
State Reform and Innovation Minister Goncalo Matias said Nuvem was part of a broader strategy to make Portugal a hub for data centres, AI and innovation, while bolstering Europe's digital resilience and sovereignty.
"Portugal is becoming what geography always invited us to be — the Atlantic gateway of Europe, the meeting point of three continents: Europe, Africa, and the Americas," he said at the cable landing ceremony.
Portugal's Atlantic coastline positions it as a prime hub for intercontinental subsea cables, helping to turn the country into a magnet for AI-driven data centres.
Lisbon also seeks to leverage abundant low-cost renewable energy from hydro, solar and wind sources, with more than 2.6 gigawatts of capacity under development.
The pipeline is led by the 1.2-GW Start Campus project in Sines, which is set to benefit from Microsoft's MSFT.O AI infrastructure investments, and is expected to grow substantially in the years ahead.

Alphabet faces heightened scrutiny from investors as a delay in the launch of a model key to its AI ambitions adds to worries over the payoff from massive data-center spending, months after raising expectations with a blockbuster quarter for cloud sales.
The artificial intelligence boom continues to reshape the technology landscape in 2026. Demand for AI computing power has surged so dramatically that even industry giants struggle to keep pace.
Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOG | GOOG Price Prediction), Google’s parent company, stands at the center of this shift. Its Google Cloud segment delivered standout results, posting roughly $22.8 billion in revenue in Q2 2026 — a 67% jump year-over-year — while the company’s overall revenue reached $116.91 billion, up 21.2%. Yet behind these gains lies a persistent challenge: compute capacity constraints that have forced tough choices.
The Compute Crunch Hits Home Google Cloud has become Alphabet’s primary growth engine. In Q1 2026, the division generated $20 billion in revenue, up 63% year-over-year, with a backlog that swelled to $462 billion. CEO Sundar Pichai noted on the earnings call that revenue would have been higher without compute limitations. Reports indicate the company even had to turn down portions of major customer requests, including capacity Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META) sought earlier this year, as infrastructure struggled to match explosive AI demand.
This shortage isn’t abstract. Capital expenditures climbed sharply, with Alphabet raising full-year 2026 guidance to $180 billion to $190 billion to expand data centers, servers, and custom chips. Free cash flow felt the pressure in earlier quarters, yet the $462 billion backlog — more than 10 times 2025’s full-year cloud revenue of $43.2 billion — signals customers stand ready to spend once capacity opens up.
For investors, this highlights both opportunity and execution risk. Alphabet’s ability to convert that backlog into sustained high-teens or better revenue growth will separate it from peers facing similar bottlenecks.
Engineers project Frozen v2 could deliver six to 10 times more tokens per unit of power than current TPUs. Deployment is targeted for 2028 as a specialized complement rather than a TPU replacement, with smaller production volumes initially. The approach evolved from an earlier concept of embedding model weights; the v2 version focuses on architecture for greater flexibility across Gemini iterations.
Act now: the analyst who called NVIDIA in 2010 just named his top 10 AI stocks — and Google didn't make the cut. Grab the names FREE today.
Imagine it like customizing the engine specifically for your most popular car model instead of using a versatile but less optimized one. By easing the load on existing infrastructure, Frozen v2 could unlock meaningful additional capacity without proportionally massive new builds. That directly addresses the shortages constraining Google Cloud today.
Efficiency as the Next Moat Smart investors recognize Alphabet’s full-stack advantage here. The company designs its own chips, software, and models, then runs them at scale in its cloud. Frozen v2 builds on that integration. While risks remain — including the chip’s compatibility with future Gemini versions and the 2028 timeline — success would improve margins and let Google Cloud capture more of that $462 billion backlog.
Alphabet trades at a forward P/E of less than 24x with strong free cash flow generation historically. Compare that to peers pouring similar sums into AI infrastructure with less vertical control. Google Cloud’s operating margin expanded to 32.9% in recent quarters from 17.8%, showing leverage as utilization rises.
Key Takeaway Frozen v2 won’t solve every capacity issue overnight, but it represents a pragmatic, high-impact step toward turning AI demand into reliable profits. For long-term shareholders, Alphabet’s ability to innovate its way through constraints — while generating $160 billion in trailing net income — reinforces its position as a core holding.
In the end, the companies that deliver efficient compute at scale will claim the biggest share of the AI prize.

There are loads of artificial intelligence (AI) stocks out there. Just about any company these days wants to convince investors that it's a big player in AI and can benefit from the opportunities that emerge from that. It can be challenging to prove, and there are many pretenders out there.
However, there are three AI stocks that I think are the real deals, and that can be excellent options for any investor looking for exposure to AI: Alphabet (GOOG 0.60%)(GOOGL 0.60%), Microsoft (MSFT 0.66%), and Amazon (AMZN 1.05%).

Alphabet The initial fears about AI were that it would cripple Alphabet's business and destroy its search engine. However, Alphabet has proven why it's a top tech stock, turning what seemed like a risk into an advantage.
The company's AI overviews have changed the way its search engine works, allowing it to incorporate AI into the results. And while not everyone may be a fan of the AI-powered results, the numbers suggest that Alphabet's search business is doing just fine; during the first three months of the year, Google Search and other related revenue rose by 19%, totaling $60.4 billion. Alphabet's business is doing more than fine; it's thriving due to AI, as its growth remains strong. Its AI chatbot, Gemini, is also proving to be more than just a formidable competitor to OpenAI's ChatGPT but a real threat.

There are many ways Alphabet can incorporate AI into its business to add value, which is why this can be among the safest AI stocks to own. With a diverse business model and many growth opportunities, Alphabet still looks like a no-brainer buy despite soaring around 90% in the past 12 months. At 26 times its trailing earnings, this remains a reasonably valued growth stock to buy and hold.
Microsoft Investors seem less convinced of Microsoft's AI capabilities, but I'm not. The company also has many opportunities to enhance its products with AI, including its popular Office software. With the help of Copilot, users can now generate forms and letters more quickly and create complex spreadsheet templates with greater ease.
As businesses realize the value Copilot offers, it'll be easier for them to justify upgrading and paying more for its AI-powered capabilities. There's a lot of value there that I believe the market is overlooking; otherwise, this stock wouldn't be trading at just 23 times earnings and be lumped in with other software stocks. Microsoft is a much safer option than most, as it has an underrated AI angle, making it a solid option today.

Although it's down 21% over the past 12 months, it may only be a matter of time before Microsoft's stock starts to rally again.
Amazon Last but certainly not least is Amazon, a tech giant with plentiful AI-related opportunities. CEO Andy Jassy highlighted one of the company's most underrated potential growth catalysts: selling AI chips. Its Trainium chip has been in high demand, and with a focus on efficiency, it can unlock some significant growth for the business, with Jassy estimating its chip business could generate $50 billion in annual revenue.
For a company that has generated more than $740 billion in revenue over the past four quarters, that may not seem significant, but it's an opportunity that Amazon can put more money behind, possibly making chips a large part of its business in the future.

Amazon, like the other tech giants on this list, has shown that it can adapt to AI and leverage it to its advantage. At around 30 times its trailing earnings, technically, this is the most expensive stock on this list. But with strong fundamentals and many AI-related opportunities, it's another no-brainer AI stock to hang on to.
