Key Takeaways TER sees sustained AI demand driving 2027 growth, with AI-related revenues exceeding 60% of total sales.Record memory test revenues of $301 million and hyperscaler compute ramps underpin TER's 2027 growth outlook.TER guides Q4 revenues to $1.25B???$1.35B, while supply costs and capacity expansion pose margin challenges. Teradyne, Inc. (TER - Free Report) emphasized sustained artificial intelligence (AI) demand and expanding semiconductor test opportunities during its third-quarter 2026 earnings call. Management expects further growth in 2027, supported by memory demand, compute programs and capacity expansion.
Executives also addressed customer ramp schedules, supply-chain constraints and the timing of emerging opportunities in advanced networking and robotics.
Third-quarter non-GAAP earnings of $2.29 per share exceeded the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2.04. Revenues of $1.31 billion surpassed the consensus estimate of $1.27 billion. Turner also expects sequential revenue growth entering 2027, while acknowledging potential shipment-timing variability.
TER Sees AI Expanding Its Addressable MarketPresident and CEO Gregory Smith said that AI-related revenues exceeded 60% of total sales, reflecting demand across semiconductor testing, electronics infrastructure and robotics.
Smith highlighted expanding semiconductor capital spending and increasing test requirements. Test equipment's share of semiconductor capital expenditures rose from 6.4% in 2025 to 8.1% during the first eight months of 2026.
Management expects continued expansion in automated test equipment demand as semiconductor manufacturers increase capacity. However, customer adoption schedules remain important to Teradyne's growth trajectory.
Teradyne Expects Compute Programs to AccelerateSmith emphasized progress with hyperscaler customers adopting dual-vendor testing strategies. One hyperscaler has reached mature deployment, with another significant ramp expected around mid-2027.
A second hyperscaler has completed qualification and could begin capacity purchases during the second half of 2027. Teradyne also has a third hyperscaler undergoing initial qualification.
During questions from UBS, Smith acknowledged that custom-chip programs would be weighted toward the second half of 2027. He added that UltraFLEXplus manufacturing capacity has quadrupled over approximately 18 months, with another expansion being planned.
TER Projects Continued Strength in Memory TestingMemory testing remained a central growth driver, with quarterly revenue reaching a record $301 million. Strong demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM), DRAM and recovering NAND supported performance.
Responding to Cantor Fitzgerald, Smith identified HBM as the largest expected contributor to memory market growth in 2027, alongside expansion across other memory categories.
Smith also explained that customers shifting toward lower HBM stack heights could increase demand for performance testing. More individual stacks produced from the same wafer capacity would require additional testing, benefiting an area where Teradyne holds relatively higher market share.
Teradyne Broadens Its AI Infrastructure ExposureProduct Test revenues reached $138 million, increasing 56% year over year. CFO Michelle Turner highlighted a 1.4-times book-to-bill ratio, supported by demand for high-speed interconnect testing.
Robotics generated $96 million in revenues, increasing 28% year over year, and achieved quarterly profitability. Smith identified electronics and semiconductor manufacturing as the segment's largest industry vertical.
In response to Susquehanna, Smith cautioned that broader physical AI adoption requires development and deployment time. He expects increased laboratory activity during 2027, while more substantial end-market adoption could emerge in 2028.
TER Details Fourth-Quarter Guidance and Margin PressuresTeradyne expects fourth-quarter revenues between $1.25 billion and $1.35 billion, with non-GAAP earnings of $1.95 to $2.25 per share. The revenue midpoint implies approximately 20% year-over-year growth.
Turner forecast gross margins of 57.5% to 58.5%, reflecting product mix and new product introductions. During Q&A, she identified supply-cost inflation and potential capacity expansion as considerations for 2027 profitability.
Teradyne Maintains Its Investment PrioritiesManagement's overall message emphasized investment in production capacity, product development and partnerships to address expanding AI infrastructure requirements.
Smith remained confident about medium-term opportunities while recognizing that compute customer ramps, optical networking adoption and physical AI deployment will progress at different rates.
Turner highlighted stronger backlog visibility and said management plans to update its longer-term earnings model during the next quarterly earnings call.

Equity trading revenues surged 40.9% year over year to $5.8 billion, while Wealth Management revenues increased 10.1% to a record $9.07 billion. Higher advisory revenues, reflecting increased completed merger and acquisition activity in the Americas, also supported results.
Charles Schwab (SCHW - Free Report) reported third-quarter 2026 adjusted earnings of $1.69 per share, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.66. The bottom line increased 29% year over year.
Schwab’s results benefited from higher net interest revenues, supported by growth in average interest-earning assets and an improved net interest margin. SoFi Technologies (SOFI +1.82%) saw its stock price surge 15% on Tuesday, Oct. 27, following blowout third-quarter results.
The jump provides some relief for investors, as the share price had been down about 43% year-to-date as of last week, trading at $14.61 per share at the market close on Oct. 23. With Tuesday's rally, SoFi stock was at $16.40 per share, still down 35% year-to-date.
Was the post-earnings bounce a one-time thing, or does it set SoFi stock back on an upward trajectory?

Blowout earnings, guidance raise
SoFi's record Q3 saw the digital bank and financial services company increase revenue 44% year over year to a record $1.4 billion. Fee revenue increased 44% to $571 million, while net interest income climbed 59% to $929 million. Adjusted EBITDA rose 70% to a record $470 million, while adjusted net income surged 74% to $243 million, or $0.18 per share. Both revenue and earnings exceeded analysts' estimates by a significant margin.
The huge gains were fueled by a 35% year-over-year increase in member growth to a record 17.1 million. Product growth, which comprises the various services members use, rose 44% to a record 26.7 million.
SOFI SoFi Technologies$17.45+$0.31 (+1.82%)
NASDAQ · As of 2:34 PM ET 10/29/26
It allowed SoFi to raise its full-year guidance. Revenue guidance was bumped up to $5.04 billion from a range of $4.75 billion to $4.85 billion the previous quarter. That suggests a 40% year-over-year increase. Total members are projected to rise at least 30% over the year.
Management also raised adjusted EBITDA guidance to $1.66 billion, representing an EBITDA margin of 33%. That's up from $1.6 billion last quarter. It increased its adjusted net income guidance to $840 million, representing a 17% margin. Previously, net income guidance was $825 million. Also, adjusted EPS for the year was boosted to $0.61, up from $0.60.
Management also made estimates for 2027, calling for revenue of $6.4 billion, or 27% over projected 2026 revenue. Adjusted EBITDA is targeted at $2.24 billion, representing a margin of 35%, while adjusted net income is estimated at $1.28 billion, representing a margin of 20%. That would be about 52% higher than 2026.
Finally, adjusted EPS in fiscal 2027 is expected to be $0.90, which would be 48% above 2026 projections. That was well above consensus projections of $0.82 EPS.
A strong Q3 report and a promising outlook give SoFi investors much to get excited about.
This strong report shows why SoFi could continue to outperform in a perhaps more difficult economic environment. Because of its low overhead as a digital provider, it can offer more competitive rates than most traditional banks. And if rates do start ticking lower in the years ahead, that should benefit SoFi by spurring more lending.
Even after the post-earnings rally, SoFi stock is still pretty cheap on a forward earnings basis with a forward P/E of 17. Based on its outlook through 2027, SoFi still looks like a solid buy.
Key Takeaways KVUE likely benefited from stronger brand investments, e-commerce expansion and favorable pricing.KVUE's Self Care growth likely gained support from Zyrtec, Pepcid, Tylenol and Nicorette demand.KVUE's cost-saving initiatives likely supported efficiency, but inflation likely weighed on margins. As Kenvue Inc. (KVUE - Free Report) prepares to unveil its third-quarter fiscal 2026 results on Oct. 30, before market open, investors are eager to see whether the company can beat market expectations.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for revenues is pegged at $3.9 billion, implying 3.3% growth from the prior year. Meanwhile, the consensus mark for earnings has remained unchanged at 28 cents per share in the past seven days and implies flat year-over-year. KVUE has an average trailing four-quarter earnings surprise of 10.5%.
Key Factors to Observe for KVUE's Q3 EarningsKenvue's performance is likely to have benefited from improving organic sales trends, brand-building initiatives and product innovation in the third quarter of 2026. The company has been witnessing encouraging momentum across its consumer health portfolio, supported by stronger commercial execution and expanding e-commerce capabilities. Continued investments in core brands, improved market penetration and favorable pricing across select categories are likely to have supported quarterly performance.
Kenvue's Self Care segment is likely to have gained from improving demand for allergy, digestive health and pain relief products. Strong execution behind Zyrtec and Pepcid, along with improving consumption trends for Tylenol, might have supported sales. The company's smoking cessation portfolio, particularly Nicorette, has also been witnessing healthy momentum across international markets. However, softer category demand and uneven consumer purchasing patterns might have limited volume growth.
On the profitability front, Kenvue's ongoing supply-chain optimization and cost-saving initiatives under Our Vue Forward and its 2026 restructuring program are likely to have supported operating efficiencies. Improved productivity and disciplined cost management might have provided some relief.
Nevertheless, inflationary pressures, tariffs, unfavorable transactional currency movements and increased brand-support spending are likely to have weighed on margins. Heightened competition and cautious consumer spending might also have affected the quarter's overall performance.

Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. (STRL - Free Report) delivered a strong third quarter of 2026, with adjusted earnings and revenues topping the Zacks Consensus Estimate and increasing sharply year over year.
Results were driven by outsized growth in E-Infrastructure Solutions, supported by robust organic growth, strong execution and contributions from acquired operations. Transportation Solutions revenues declined as Sterling continued reallocating resources toward higher-margin E-Infrastructure opportunities. Meanwhile, Building Solutions remained pressured by lower homebuilder activity and ongoing housing affordability challenges.
Inside Sterling’s Q3 HeadlinesAdjusted earnings were $7.58 per share, compared with $3.48 in the year-ago quarter. The figure beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $6.07 by 24.9%.
Revenues surged 127% to $1.56 billion, topping the consensus mark of $1.17 billion by 33.8%. The company generated adjusted net income of $235.4 million, up from $107.7 million a year earlier, while reported net income advanced to $214.9 million from $92.1 million.

Within E-Infrastructure, mission-critical projects represented approximately 95% of the segment's opportunity pool, with additional development potential on customer-owned land.
STRL Posts Higher Profit as Operating Margin ExpandsGross profit increased to $377.3 million from $170.2 million a year earlier. Gross margin, however, narrowed to approximately 24.1% from 24.7%, as costs grew slightly faster than revenues.
Operating income more than doubled to $306.8 million from $125.3 million. Operating margin improved to 19.6% from 18.2%, an expansion of 140 basis points, reflecting stronger operating leverage.
Adjusted EBITDA climbed to $337.8 million from $155.8 million. Adjusted EBITDA margin eased to 21.6% from 22.6%, reflecting a higher contribution from CEC, which was owned for only one month of the prior-year third quarter.
Q3 Segmental Discussion of SterlingE-Infrastructure Solutions revenues soared 212% to $1.30 billion from $417.1 million, accounting for 83% of quarterly sales. Strength across site development and electrical services supported the increase. CEC revenues quadrupled on a pro forma year-over-year basis, with management now seeing the potential for more than $1 billion in CEC revenues during 2026.
Segment adjusted operating income advanced 171% to $302.4 million from $111.7 million. The adjusted operating margin was 23.2%, compared with 26.8% a year earlier. Site development margins remained in line with first-half levels, while CEC operating margins improved both year over year and sequentially.
Transportation Solutions revenues fell 3.1% to $165.2 million from $170.5 million as resources shifted toward higher-margin E-Infrastructure projects. Nevertheless, adjusted operating income grew 22.2% to $32.6 million. The segment's adjusted operating margin widened 410 basis points to 19.7%, supported by disciplined project selection and execution.
Building Solutions revenues declined 5.4% to $96 million from $101.4 million amid slower homebuilder activity. Adjusted operating income dropped 38.7% to $7.7 million, while the adjusted operating margin contracted to 8% from 12.4%. Management expects housing affordability pressures to weigh on demand through the remainder of the year.

Total debt declined to approximately $95 million from $291 million during the same period, leaving Sterling with a net cash position of about $122 million.
The company repurchased $107.3 million of shares during the nine-month period. It had $267 million available under its $400 million repurchase authorization at quarter-end. Sterling also expanded its revolving credit facility to $1.5 billion in July and extended its maturity to July 2031.
Sterling Raises 2026 OutlookSterling raised its 2026 revenue guidance to $4.63-$4.73 billion from the prior range of $4-$4.15 billion, reflecting strong execution, expanding project opportunities and sustained demand for E-Infrastructure services. The company now expects net income of $596-$604 million and adjusted net income of $675-$683 million.

Masco Corporation (MAS - Free Report) reported third-quarter 2026 adjusted earnings of $1.19 per share, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.01 by 17.8%. The bottom line increased 22.7% from 97 cents a year ago. Net sales rose 2.6% year over year to $1.97 billion, beating the consensus mark of $1.93 billion by 1.8%.
Masco’s results benefited from pricing actions, cost-saving initiatives and lower year-over-year tariff costs, partially offset by higher commodity and employee-related expenses. Masco raised its 2026 adjusted earnings guidance to $4.65-$4.75 per share from the previous range of $4.40-$4.60, citing strong operational performance year to date. Reported earnings are projected to be between $4.51 and $4.61 per share.
Comfort Systems USA, Inc. (FIX - Free Report) delivered impressive third-quarter 2026 results, with earnings and revenues surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate and increasing sharply year over year. The quarterly performance reflected robust demand across technology-related projects, strong execution and continued expansion in construction activity. Backlog reached $17.81 billion, reinforcing management's confidence in sustained growth and profitability.
Comfort Systems' management maintained a positive outlook, supported by strong customer demand, an expanding project pipeline and consistent operating execution. During the third quarter, Comfort Systems acquired Boys Electrical Contractors in Florida and a Texas-based modular construction business, strengthening its presence across electrical services and customized building components. FIX expects to sustain organic growth, high profitability and solid cash generation through the remainder of 2026 and into 2027.
United Rentals, Inc. (URI - Free Report) reported third-quarter 2026 results, with adjusted earnings per share and total revenues beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate and increasing year over year. Strong rental demand and operating efficiencies supported the results. Fleet productivity, which combines rental rates, time utilization and mix, improved 6.5% year over year.
United Rentals raised its 2026 revenue outlook to $18-$18.2 billion from $17.5-$17.8 billion. Adjusted EBITDA is now projected at $8.3-$8.4 billion compared with $7.98-$8.13 billion previously. Operating cash flow is expected at $6.25-$6.85 billion, up from $5.85-$6.65 billion. Management cited customer confidence, backlogs and large-project momentum as support for the raised outlook.
Sterling Infrastructure's (STRL -2.28%) third-quarter revenue rose 127% to $1.56 billion, including 70% organic growth, and it raised 2026 guidance. Shares opened about 8% lower in regular trading Thursday, then recovered to about 1% higher. The data center growth is real, but Sterling used up signed contracts faster than it replaced them, so pipeline growth now rests on awards it hasn't signed.
Key Numbers
Revenue: $1.56 billion, up 127% year over year.GAAP diluted EPS: $6.92, up 133%; adjusted EPS was $7.58.E-Infrastructure Solutions revenue: $1.30 billion, up 212%.Signed backlog: $4.14 billion, up 61% year over year. What It Means
The backlog needs a closer look. Signed-backlog book-to-burn was 0.9x, so Sterling worked off more signed work than it added. Growth came from unsigned awards, jobs won but not yet under contract. Data center owners often build campuses in phases and sign one piece at a time, so these usually convert. They're still softer than signed work.
Margins are diluting by design. E-Infrastructure operating margin fell about three percentage points as CEC, the electrical contractor Sterling bought last year, became a bigger share of the segment. Electrical work is labor-heavy and earns thinner margins than earthmoving. Site development margins held and CEC's improved, so this is mix, not slipping execution.
Cash is trailing profit. Receivables more than doubled since December as billings on bigger projects outran collections, so year-to-date operating cash flow lags net income. That's normal for a contractor growing this fast, and advance billings to customers rose too.
What to Watch Next
Watch whether signed-backlog book-to-burn climbs back above 1x as unsigned awards convert. Also check fourth-quarter revenue against the roughly $1.1 billion that guidance implies, well below the third quarter.

Key Takeaways GRAIL's Q3 revenues are projected to rise 19% to $43.1 million, with an estimated loss of $2.78 per share.Galleri adoption may gain from rising physician prescriptions and clinical evidence of improved detection.
Partnerships, electronic ordering integrations and global expansion may support GRAL's growth.
GRAIL, Inc. (GRAL - Free Report) is scheduled to release third-quarter 2026 results on Nov. 4, after the closing bell.
In the last reported quarter, the company posted adjusted loss per share of $2.56, which surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 12.03%. GRAIL’s earnings beat estimates in each of the trailing four quarters, the average surprise being 22.52%.
Q3 Estimates for GRALThe Zacks Consensus Estimate for revenues is pegged at $43.1 million, which suggests an increase of 19% from the year-ago reported figure.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for loss per share is pinned at $2.78, indicating a year-over-year improvement of 13%. The estimate has moved north 6 cents in the past 60 days.
Here’s a quick overview of the company’s performance prior to the announcement.
Key Factors Likely to Have Driven GRAL’s Q3 PerformanceIn the third quarter, GRAIL is likely to have benefited from strong growth in Galleri test volumes, supported by increasing physician adoption, expanding digital health partnerships and growing clinical evidence.
Growing physician adoption for Galleri and higher prescribing activity, along with the addition of approximately 1,000 new ordering providers during the previous quarter, are likely to have boosted growth in the to-be-reported quarter.
Results from the PATHFINDER 2 and NHS-Galleri studies demonstrated the potential of Galleri to improve cancer detection when added to standard-of-care screening. The addition of Galleri increased cancer detection rates by approximately 4-6.5x across the two studies. Evidence of improved early-stage cancer detection and the potential to facilitate curative-intent treatment likely further encouraged physician adoption and prescribing activity.
GRAIL's digital health business must have further contributed to third-quarter growth through the expansion of new and existing partnerships. Electronic ordering integrations with Quest and Athena helped expand the prescriber base and encourage more frequent prescribing among existing physicians.
Strategic partnerships are likely to have supported Galleri adoption and international expansion during the third quarter. GRAIL’s collaboration with Priority Health enabled employer groups under certain plans to add Galleri to their existing screening coverage. Additionally, the $110 million strategic financing from Samsung, completed in June, enabled GRAIL to begin working with Samsung C&T Corporation on plans to commercialize Galleri in South Korea, with potential expansion into Japan and Singapore.
During the previous quarter, non-GAAP adjusted gross profit was up 34% year over year, primarily driven by improved fixed cost leverage from higher volumes and a decrease in sample reprocessing costs. We expect this trend to have persisted in the to-be-reported quarter.

TGTX’s earnings beat estimates in one of the trailing four quarters and missed in the other three, the average surprise being 184.65%. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for third-quarter EPS implies a decrease of 84.8% from the year-ago quarter’s figure.
Revvity (RVTY - Free Report) has an Earnings ESP of +1.03% and a Zacks Rank #3 at present. The company is slated to release third-quarter 2026 results on Nov. 3.

Archer Aviation (ACHR +2.07%) has never been ambiguous about what it wants: a fully certified air taxi. What's less certain, however, is when it will get there, how it will get there, and how much money it will spend to cross that finish line.
Every quarterly report, therefore, comes with the underlying question of when. And with its third-quarter earnings report slated for Nov. 9, investors will likely be looking for positive signs that the company is getting closer to that milestone.
In the meantime, is Archer stock worth buying before its next earnings report is released? Let's take a look.
What to watch for in Archer's Q3 results Arguably, the biggest development in Archer Aviation this quarter has been its planned acquisition of three Boeing subsidiaries: Wisk Aero, Insitu, and SkyGrid. The deal, if it closes, gives Archer access to autonomous aircraft technology (Wisk Aero), airspace management software (SkyGrid), and an established defense business (Insitu).
That last one is especially important. Insitu alone is expected to add more than $200 million in annual revenue to Archer's business. Considering that Archer generated just $5 million in revenue last quarter, the acquisition could literally transform Archer's financial picture overnight.
The cost of that acquisition, however, could also be significant: Boeing walks away from the deal with approximately 19.75% of Archer's pre-closing share count, subject to adjustments. That spells dilution for existing shareholders.
Of course, since the Boeing deal hasn't closed, Insitu's more than $200 million in annual revenue likely won't show up in Archer's third-quarter results. But it's worth considering now when evaluating Archer's future, especially since the eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) maker is likely to report substantial losses.
In the second quarter, Archer reported a net loss of $263 million, and for Q3, management expects adjusted EBITDA loss between $170 million and $200 million. Fortunately, Archer finished June with about $1.6 billion in cash and short-term investments, so it has some breathing room.

Should you buy Archer before it reports earnings? At around $4 a share, Archer currently carries a roughly $3 billion market value. That's less than its rival Joby Aviation, which is valued at about $4.6 billion and has arguably made more progress toward FAA certification than Archer has.
For my part, I'm intrigued by Archer's defense opportunities, but I'm not expecting this quarterly report to be a spectacular show. I wouldn't, therefore, rush to buy Archer ahead of earnings. With its certification timeline still unknown, most investors will probably want to wait for more material progress before jumping in.
Archer Aviation Inc. (NYSE:ACHR) shares are rising Thursday. The company signed a partnership with ITA Airways, a Lufthansa Group airline, to build a network of electric air taxis in Italy. Here’s what you should know.
Archer Aviation stock is charging ahead with explosive momentum. Why are ACHR shares rallying? Archer Aviation Rises On ITA Airways Air Taxi PartnershipArcher and ITA Airways signed a deal Thursday to launch electric air taxi service in Italian cities. ITA is Italy’s national airline and sits inside Europe’s largest airline group, Lufthansa. Its flights reach more than 70 destinations, and it belongs to the Star Alliance.
Archer would supply its Midnight aircraft. The company says Midnight runs without emissions and is built for quick, back-to-back flights. Archer pitches it as a way to swap a drive of 60 to 90 minutes for a quiet flight of 10 to 20. Getting from Fiumicino Airport into central Rome takes about an hour on the ground today. A Midnight flight could cut that to under 10 minutes.
What the ITA Airways Partnership IncludesITA’s role is to link the air taxis to its own network and shape the passenger experience. Specialist partners would operate the aircraft. ITA frames the agreement as a way to test whether air taxis can add to its existing network and shorten links between airports and downtowns. It is still exploring options.
The release gives no financial terms, aircraft order or launch date. It does say Archer’s list of airline partners now includes its first European carrier, with a commercial push already begun in the U.S. and the United Arab Emirates.
Archer founder and CEO Adam Goldstein credited Italy’s “regulatory leadership” and its infrastructure and said the country now has an airline partner too. Rome Fiumicino, Goldstein added, handled over 50 million travelers last year.

HTX, the crypto exchange controlled by Justin Sun, has left Britain under a High Court deal with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). UK customers can no longer deposit funds, and new users cannot sign up.
The deal ends a year-long lawsuit over illegal adverts. However, existing UK account holders still face a bigger problem, getting their money out of an exchange the government already treats as sanctioned.
How UK Users Get Money Out of HTXThe FCA says HTX, formerly Huobi, points remaining UK customers to its website to withdraw leftover assets.
That route runs into sanctions. Britain designated Huobi Global S.A., the Panama company behind HTX, on May 26 over alleged financial links to Russia.
The Treasury’s sanctions unit then said the exchange itself is covered. Its guidance says nothing about customer withdrawals.
In August, BeInCrypto reported a UK user who said their account was frozen pending sanctions permission. The same report found HTX nearing an FCA settlement, which has now landed.
Why the FCA Took an Overseas Exchange to CourtThe lawsuit, filed in October 2025, was the FCA’s first High Court case against a foreign crypto firm over UK marketing. The filing counted 4.6 million UK visits to HTX in 2023.
Under an October 27 court order, HTX promised not to knowingly promote crypto to UK consumers.
“Crypto firms should be under no illusion: being based overseas does not put them beyond the reach of UK law,” Steve Smart, FCA executive director of enforcement and market oversight, said.
The terms stay confidential, and the FCA says the deal is no admission of wrongdoing. HTX says it already acted to comply.
“We take local compliance requirements seriously and have proactively implemented measures to align with the UK’s financial promotion regulations,” HTX said in a statement.
What the UK Licence Deadline Means for Offshore ExchangesBritain’s crypto licensing regime starts in October 2027. Until then, the FCA says crypto stays largely unregulated beyond money-laundering and advertising rules.
Binance, which holds no UK authorisation, plans a UK return with licence before applications close in February 2027. HTX is heading the other way, and its UK customers still have no published sanctions guidance on withdrawals.
PANews, October 29: According to official information, Huobi HTX announced that the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) previously initiated legal proceedings against the exchange in the UK, and that the matter has now been properly resolved after a period of constructive communication between the two sides.
Huobi HTX has consistently cooperated with the FCA in good faith, actively collaborated with the FCA, and actively responded to its concerns regarding the UK market. During this period, based on its commitment to continuously following compliance standards, Huobi HTX gradually strengthened the restrictions related to the UK market and its exit arrangements, and introduced supporting operational measures.
These measures were already implemented well before this settlement was reached. This settlement further consolidates the aforementioned measures and does not constitute an admission by Huobi HTX of any legal liability, wrongdoing or violation.
The settlement eliminates the relevant legal uncertainty and is consistent with the exchange's commitment to continuously improving its compliance standards. It helps Huobi HTX focus on what matters most, namely providing high-value services to users and achieving long-term sustainable growth.
Huobi HTX thanks all parties for their professional cooperation in properly concluding this matter, and will continue to focus on serving users responsibly. Looking ahead, Huobi HTX is willing to cooperate constructively with all parties in the industry, including working hand in hand with regulators where appropriate, to jointly safeguard user interests and promote the healthy development of the digital asset ecosystem.

Canton plans to launch tokenized US stock trading as early as November 2, and is expected to become the first such case under the SEC's new rules.
Nasdaq-listed Canton Strategic Holdings (CNTN) announced an agreement with TSV, a permissioned tokenized securities trading platform on the Canton Network, to offer its common stock for trading in issuer-initiated tokenized form. The target launch date is as early as November 2, and the company expects this to become the first compliant tokenized onshore U.S. equities case under the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)’s Innovation Exemption Framework. The tokenized shares are issued by Fairmint, an SEC-registered on-chain transfer agent that maintains ownership records, with holders entitled to the same rights as Nasdaq stockholders. The trading will run via the Tradecraft protocol as an automated market maker (AMM), enabling nearly 24/7 trading and atomic settlement. Participants must complete identity verification and sanctions screening. The issuer-initiated model avoids the objection and notification processes typical of third-party tokenization schemes.

Axis Robotics Responds to AXIS Token Sell-Off: Suspects Over-the-Counter (OTC) Counterparties Defaulted on Sell Orders, Team and Investor Tokens Remain Untouched
Axis Robotics has issued a statement addressing the massive on-chain sell-off of AXIS tokens that took place between October 28 and 29. The project clarified that a total of 835 million AXIS tokens—accounting for 83.5% of the total supply, held by its core team, investors, and other locked allocations—remain stored in a vesting contract co-managed with Binance, which is verifiable on-chain. No tokens from these locked pools will be unlocked before the 12-month cliff period, and the recent sell-off was not driven by the team or investors exiting positions. The project added that the sold tokens originated from the initial circulating supply outlined in its publicly released token economics, part of the ecosystem allocation. Given that some ecosystem recipients are not crypto-native users, the allocation was delivered via a single over-the-counter (OTC) counterparty under a written agreement with lock-up clauses. The sales were processed through exchange deposit routes and executed across hundreds of new addresses within hours of delivery. The project suspects the counterparty likely offloaded the tokens on the open market. Earlier, on-chain detective ZachXBT disclosed that insider addresses linked to Axis Robotics (AXIS) dumped tokens, triggering a roughly 40% plunge in the token’s price.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that Cohere plans to retain its headquarters in Canada and expects to build new computing infrastructure in the country by 2030, with an investment of around $1.2 billion. If the financing round is successfully completed, it will become the largest private financing in Canadian history, far exceeding previous records.

Alphabet’s quarterly report filings disclose its AI exposure exceeds $1 trillion, with over one-third of the growth in its unfulfilled cloud contracts coming from joint ventures.
According to Bloomberg, Google parent company Alphabet's quarterly filing submitted on Thursday revealed artificial intelligence-related risk exposures not covered in the prior day's earnings call, and showed its AI risk exposure surpassed $1 trillion. Alphabet cited rapid growth in cloud service demand, with the expansion of its unfulfilled cloud contracts as evidence. Bloomberg noted that over a third of the growth in the quarter's unfulfilled cloud contracts came from a joint venture in which Alphabet holds a partial stake.
On October 29, 2026, the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority announced a settlement with Huobi Global S.A. over HTX’s crypto promotions, confirming that the exchange has exited the UK. Deposits and new UK registrations have stopped. Existing users with residual assets must contact support to request a conditional, one-time 48-hour withdrawal window.
HTX sets that window under its own withdrawal arrangements. The FCA announcement does not start a universal deadline for users to remove their funds. The exchange’s notice says eligible individuals must request access and pass its checks before personally withdrawing their remaining assets.
The FCA commenced proceedings on October 21, 2025 and publicly announced them on February 10, 2026. According to the regulator, HTX repeatedly failed to engage before the case began, then took steps to leave the UK after proceedings started. Under the settlement, the FCA says HTX will not target, solicit or actively seek to engage UK consumers.
Residual assets require a support request
HTX’s October 16 service notice says it does not provide services to UK residents. Users cannot complete account registration or identity verification from a UK IP address. Existing accounts identified as UK accounts remain restricted. HTX has disabled deposits, trading and transactions across its products and services for those accounts.
The notice directs eligible individual users with residual balances to customer support. Approval depends on the applicable Personal Remittances General Licence’s conditions and limits. Users must also pass HTX’s identity, ownership, sanctions, anti-money-laundering, fraud and account-security controls. An account with assets still on the exchange must meet those requirements to qualify for the withdrawal window.
An approved user must personally withdraw all remaining assets during the 48-hour period. HTX allows the transactions needed to withdraw different asset types, but each remains subject to destination-wallet, blockchain and security controls. The exchange explicitly says it will not transfer assets on the user’s behalf. Approval permits withdrawal under those conditions; trading remains disabled.
HTX closes the account after full withdrawal. Affected users must email [email protected] from the address registered to their account and provide a personal-use confirmation. The notice also places responsibility for any applicable reporting obligations on users and recommends independent legal advice where appropriate. It gives no common calendar cutoff for all remaining UK balances.
The remittances licence has separate conditions
The withdrawal notice refers to a sanctions licence with terms separate from HTX’s own controls. The Treasury’s Personal Remittances General Licence permits specified personal-use payments involving designated credit or financial institutions, subject to its terms. HTX makes its withdrawal arrangement conditional on that licence. Its support notice gives no blanket authorization covering every account or transfer.
The licence sets a £55,000 cumulative limit for permitted payments in respect of an individual over the period from its issue to expiry. The limit applies across that period, with no fresh allowance for each withdrawal transaction or asset type. Payments relating to goods or services for commercial purposes are excluded. HTX also requires users to confirm that their withdrawal is for personal use.
The Treasury’s publication notice records the increase from £50,000 to £55,000 and the extension of expiry to February 23, 2028. It also clarifies that the specified UK or non-UK bank-account destination requirement applies to permissions involving an entity. These provisions give no unconditional assurance that HTX can process a particular wallet withdrawal under its arrangements.
An amendment dated May 26, 2026 added a reporting requirement for anyone using cryptoassets to make or receive payments under the licence. They must report to HM Treasury within 14 days of the end of the calendar month in which those payments were made or received. That reporting timetable runs separately from HTX’s 48-hour withdrawal window.
The report must include amounts paid or received, the payment route with account or wallet details, and the transaction dates, with supporting evidence. The individual must also confirm personal use in accordance with the licence. HTX’s notice says users are responsible for determining and complying with obligations that apply to them. That reporting duty remains with the user after support approves a withdrawal.
What the court undertaking binds
The Tomlin order dated October 27, 2026, made by Deputy Master Holden in claim FS-2025-000015, records a confidential settlement agreement dated October 16. Huobi Global, the Panama-incorporated first defendant, gives undertakings to the court until October 21, 2031.
The undertaking prohibits Huobi Global from knowingly communicating, or causing the communication of, financial promotions that contravene section 21 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. It covers direct and indirect conduct, including through officers, servants or agents. Both the knowledge qualifier and the reference to unlawful promotions form part of the published restriction.
The specified channels extend beyond the existing HTX website to similar websites promulgated by the exchange operator, software applications and social platforms. The order names X, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, Medium and LinkedIn among those channels. A promotion moved from the website to an app or social account remains within the undertaking’s stated scope.
The order stays further proceedings on the settlement terms except for enforcement. The FCA and Huobi Global can apply to the court to enforce the agreement without bringing a new claim. The order makes no order as to costs. The FCA says the settlement constitutes no admission of liability or wrongdoing by Huobi Global or any other person or entity.
The settlement agreement itself remains confidential. HTX’s public notice gives no processing time for support requests and does not explain the treatment of residual assets when a user cannot meet the licence conditions or complete the approved withdrawal window.
HTX has settled a UK legal case over its crypto promotions, with court commitments running until October 2031. The Financial Conduct Authority announced the agreement on October 29, following proceedings against the exchange that was formerly known as Huobi.
The FCA says users can no longer deposit funds, new customers cannot register, and HTX has stopped actively seeking business in the country.
What changes for UK customers? The FCA said HTX is no longer active in the UK and will stop targeting or soliciting UK consumers. It said existing customers with assets with the exchange should get in touch with the exchange’s support notice for withdrawal information.
But HTX said its UK exit arrangements and strengthened restrictions had started before the settlement that was announced.
Documents observed showed that the FCA started proceedings on October 21, 2025, and it was publicly announced in February 2026.
The regulator said HTX began to leave the UK market after proceedings started.
Court commitments extend to 2031 An October 27 High Court order records the settlement with Huobi Global S.A., the company named as the first defendant.
With the order, it can’t knowingly communicate or cause others to communicate, and there are no financial promotions that breach UK law through websites, apps, and social media.
What this means is that unlawful messages encouraging people to use crypto services or invest can’t be sent.
The settlement remains confidential, and there was no admission of liability or wrongdoing.
HTX gives its account of the agreement In its October 29 response, HTX described the resolution as following constructive engagement. It said it had worked collaboratively to address the regulator’s concerns.
In its original court filing, the body gave an example of the access the exchange had that it didn’t want it to have. The filing showed that an FCA employee used a UK internet address and driving license to verify an account, purchase crypto, and trade futures.
Those allegations were part of the case that has now been settled.
Customers with balances have been directed to the exchange’s withdrawal guidance.
Final Summary HTX settled the FCA’s crypto promotions case, with court commitments lasting until October 2031.
The FCA says UK deposits and new registrations are blocked. Users are encouraged to look at the withdrawal guidance.
The FCA secured a high-court ruling to push HTX out of the U.K. after years of warnings and legal actions against the crypto exchange. (FCA/Press)Summary
HTX, the cryptocurrency exchange formerly known as Huobi, has withdrawn from Britain after settling with the Financial Conduct Authority over alleged violations of financial advertising rules, without admitting wrongdoing.British customers can no longer make deposits, new users cannot register, and existing customers should consult HTX’s website for instructions on withdrawing their assets. The settlement bars HTX from targeting British consumers through its website, apps and social media as Britain prepares to expand cryptocurrency regulation in October 2027.Cryptocurrency exchange HTX, formerly known as Huobi, withdrew from the U.K. after settling with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) over alleged breaches of the country’s financial advertising rules.
The FCA secured High Court rulings to prevent HTX from knowingly promoting crypto services illegally to U.K. consumers, according to an announcement on Thursday.
“HTX is no longer active in the U.K.,” the FCA said. “Consumers can no longer make deposits, and new U.K. users cannot sign up to the platform. HTX will not target, solicit or actively seek to engage U.K. consumers.” The regulator told users to read information published on HTX’s website, including how to withdraw their assets.
HTX continued advertising its crypto services to consumers in the U.K. despite an FCA warning in October 2023. The FCA sued the exchange for continuing to illegally promote itself in the U.K. in October 2025. The regulator said the Singapore-based exchange, which Justin Sun acquired in May 2023, also failed to answer its inquiries.
“Crypto firms should be under no illusion: being based overseas does not put them beyond the reach of UK law,” said Steve Smart, the FCA's executive director of enforcement and market oversight. “Our action means HTX is leaving the UK and can no longer target UK consumers.”
The agreement covers promotions through HTX's website, mobile applications and social media. The FCA has directed existing UK customers to the exchange's website for instructions on withdrawing any remaining assets.
The settlement terms are confidential and do not constitute an admission of wrongdoing by HTX or Huobi Global S.A., the FCA said.
The case comes as Britain prepares to bring more crypto activities under financial regulation in October 2027. For now, the FCA's oversight of the sector focuses largely on anti-money laundering and financial promotions.
Crypto exchange HTX will leave the United Kingdom following a settlement with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), closing the regulator’s first legal action against a crypto firm over unlawful financial promotions. The settlement, announced on October 29, 2026, requires the company to halt all deposit activity and new registrations from UK residents and gives existing UK account holders just 48 hours to withdraw their assets before their accounts are closed.
FCA secures undertakings from HTXThe FCA confirmed it has received legally binding commitments in the High Court, ensuring that HTX, previously known as Huobi, will no longer market crypto services unlawfully to consumers in the United Kingdom. Huobi Global S.A., the Panama-registered company operating HTX, committed not to communicate UK law-breaching promotions via its digital channels.
The legally binding pledge, according to Cointelegraph’s reporting, will remain in force until October 2031. Terms of the settlement have not been made public, and the FCA emphasized that it does not constitute an admission of wrongdoing by HTX or Huobi Global. No information has been disclosed regarding a potential financial penalty.
Crypto firms should be under no illusion: being based overseas does not put them beyond the reach of UK law. Our action means HTX is leaving the UK and can no longer target UK consumers. The message to other firms is clear: follow the rules or face the consequences.
HTX, for its part, stated to the Financial Times that it had proactively taken steps to comply with the UK’s regulations on financial promotions. The FCA previously stated that the company had not meaningfully engaged during earlier stages of the process.
Timeline and regulatory contextThe FCA initiated the High Court lawsuit in October 2025, naming Huobi Global S.A. and individuals controlling HTX’s accounts across major social and messaging platforms. This marked the first enforcement case since the UK’s financial promotion rules for crypto marketing came into effect in October 2023.
When the case became public in February 2026, the FCA also requested that social media companies restrict HTX’s accounts for UK users and called on Apple and Google to remove HTX’s apps from their UK stores. Negotiations over the settlement began in March 2026 and continued through June as detailed in various court orders.
Sanctions and industry responseHTX faces further regulatory challenges. The United Kingdom sanctioned Huobi Global in May over its alleged links with Russia’s financial sector, and the European Union included the company in its 21st Russia sanctions package in July, citing actions that frustrated their restrictions. The EU banned transactions with Huobi Global but stopped short of freezing assets entirely. HTX maintains that Huobi Global S.A. operates separately from the online HTX platform.
Several exchanges adjusted their operations in response to these sanctions. In August, Binance ceased processing transactions related to HTX and ten other companies, referencing the regulatory environment. That same month, Kraken temporarily blocked access for some clients after a series of small transfers were reported from a wallet linked to HTX. Kraken later restored access but retained the relevant funds.
With UK access now closed, British users are urged to withdraw their funds within the stipulated 48-hour period, as new sign-ups and deposits remain blocked.
For crypto participants who need to react quickly when exchanges change access rules or regulatory actions target platforms, fast information is vital. CryptoAppsy’s live news monitoring and real-time asset alerts allow users to track critical exchange changes across the market, giving them an advantage when withdrawal windows or compliance shifts put assets at risk.
Market responseCurrently, there is no HTX-specific token to track for price movement. Most large-cap cryptocurrencies saw modest gains over the past 24 hours as of 15:13 UTC on October 29, 2026, according to CoinGecko, while XRP fell during the same period. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index displayed a neutral reading of 51. At the time of the announcement, Bitcoin stood at $81,352, representing a 35% decline from its record high of $126,080 set in October 2025.

Crypto asset prices remain volatile, and recent performance does not predict future movements.
OutlookThe immediate concern for UK customers is to complete withdrawals within the 48-hour window. Users should remain vigilant against common risks such as network delays, incorrect withdrawal addresses, and fraudulent schemes impersonating exchange support. For the wider industry, the FCA’s approach provides a likely template for future enforcement, demonstrating the ability of UK regulators to take action against non-domestic crypto companies using court orders, platform restrictions, and app store removals.
Existing sanctions by the UK and EU continue to limit Huobi Global’s ability to operate in Europe, and additional compliance actions from other market participants may follow as firms reassess their dealings with entities linked to HTX.

Polygon Labs announced it has integrated Solana into its Open Money Stack payment platform, allowing enterprises to complete bank acceptance, cross-chain fund transfers, and payee disbursements via a single integration. The first clients include payment service provider Kira, whose CEO said the firm has already been using Solana to transfer stablecoins, and the Polygon integration will let it convert funds to U.S. dollars and deposit them into clients’ bank accounts for supplier payments. The stack connects Polygon, Ethereum, and TRON, which was integrated earlier this month. The integration comes as Solana completed its Alpenglow consensus upgrade last week, cutting transaction finalization time from around 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds. A product lead at the Solana Foundation said the network has processed over $5.5 trillion in stablecoin transaction volume in 2026. Earlier this month, Polygon also completed its acquisition of Coinme, securing money transmission licenses and exemptions covering 48 U.S. states.

Utexo is preparing to bring Tether’s dollar-backed stablecoin back to Bitcoin after a three-year hiatus.
The Dubai-based blockchain startup says it will achieve the integration through RGB, a protocol that keeps asset transaction data off-chain.
The public launch is scheduled for Nov. 28, with Lightning Network support planned for Q1 2027, promising private transfers and fast payments via Bitcoin’s payment network.
But with $300 billion of stablecoin supply already circulating on networks like Ethereum and Tron, why would users want to transact on a slower network that doesn’t offer smart contracts or DeFi? Can it compete with the stablecoin incumbents?
$300 billion of stablecoin supply. Source: DeFiLlama
Why bring USDT back to Bitcoin? This isn’t the first time we’ve seen USDT on Bitcoin. It actually began life as a stablecoin on Bitcoin in 2014 through the Omni protocol, but Tether eventually halted issuance in August 2023, citing declining usage.
Tether then announced plans to launch USDT on RGB in August 2025. That didn’t happen, however, Tether subsequently led Utexo’s $7.5 million seed round in March, and the new firm will launch the Bitcoin version of the stablecoin using Tether’s USDT0 protocol.
But if usage of USDT on Bitcoin had declined to the point it was no longer viable the first time around, why would it be more popular now? What has changed since 2023?
Viktor Ihnatiuk, co-founder and chief executive of Utexo, tells Magazine the answer is two-fold: Speed and privacy. Using Bitcoin for the settlement layer, and RGB to keep transaction details off the public blockchain, makes private and fast transactions a reality.
“You can actually achieve any speed you want to achieve,” he says. “Bitcoin is the best blockchain. Lightning is the best technology to scale payments.”
RGB Protocol Documentation. Source: RGB
Utexo grew out of an effort to bring dollar-denominated payments to Bitcoin, and Ihnatiuk says the idea took shape after a conversation with Tether at Bitcoin Prague in 2023.
The company also builds on RGB and Lightning infrastructure developed by ThunderStack, founded by fellow Utexo co-founder Renat Skitsan.
What is RGB, and how does it work?RGB has been in development since 2016 and was designed to let users issue and transfer digital assets through contracts tied to Bitcoin, without recording every transaction detail on its public blockchain.
Rather than making Bitcoin behave like Ethereum, on RGB, the parties validate asset transactions themselves, while cryptographic commitments anchored to Bitcoin help secure the system. That means RGB is a Bitcoin-native protocol rather than a sidechain or rollup.
RGB also works with the Lightning Network, enabling USDT to move through its payment channels without each transfer requiring a base-layer transaction.
“Lightning allows you to do transactions with a dynamic of 100 milliseconds,” Ihnatiuk says. “It’s faster than Solana, it’s faster than Monad, it’s faster than Sui or Aptos. The limitation is only in the brain of people who don’t understand how to scale Bitcoin.”
Bitcoin’s transparency has hampered business adoption, as many firms like to keep their purchases and transaction counterparts confidential.
Ihnatiuk says that rather than compete with networks like Tron on retail transaction volume or Ethereum on decentralized finance, the company believes the combination of secure Bitcoin-based settlement and greater transaction confidentiality will be enough to persuade businesses to make the switch.
Utexo can also selectively disclose relevant transaction information for compliance purposes, Ihnatiuk says, and has procedures for responding to law enforcement requests.

Bridge over troubled watersUtexo opened early access to its USDT Mint product on Oct. 22, allowing verified professional operators, like exchanges, wallets and market makers, to test minting, confidential transfers and redemption on Bitcoin’s Signet test network.
The sandbox gives operators time to test transaction flows and prepare integrations ahead of the public launch at the end of November, after which time Ihnatiuk predicts “everything will become so big.”
But getting existing USDT onto Bitcoin through Utexo Mint involves an additional step. The service locks USDT0 on Arbitrum before minting an equivalent amount of USDT on Bitcoin. Users can redeem their tokens by burning the RGB asset and triggering the release of the corresponding funds on the source network.
That means Mint’s security also depends on the mechanisms connecting the networks, not on Bitcoin and RGB alone.
Users need to trust that the USDT0 locked on Arbitrum remains available and can be released when they redeem their Bitcoin-based USDT. Bridges have historically acted like honeypots to hackers, so this architecture introduces additional risk, even if the design attempts to mitigate them.
Utexo says Mint has been audited by Oxorio, although the full audit report is not publicly available.
What would success look like?Utexo has named UniSat as a launch partner, with plans to support USDT transfers and swaps through its wallet, and Ihnatiuk says Utexo is working with 12 over-the-counter network partners and has another 40 in its pipeline.
Ihnatiuk sees opportunities in Bitcoin-native trading and lending, but he says Bitcoin won’t replicate Ethereum’s DeFi ecosystem; its strengths lie in payments and simpler financial arrangements like escrow-based exchanges.
“People who think that it’s possible to replicate Ethereum DeFi on Bitcoin make a huge mistake,” he says. “Bitcoin was never built for DeFi. Bitcoin was always built for payments.”
Another potential use case is helping keep miners on Bitcoin as they could swap BTC for USDT directly on Bitcoin rather than having to move funds to centralized exchanges. That would reduce their exposure to custodial risk and make it easier to automate hedging strategies. “So, for miners, it’s quite beneficial,” he says.
Ihnatiuk is setting an ambitious target for the first year.
“I would love to achieve our minimum milestone of $1 billion USDT on the Bitcoin network in the next 12 months,” he says. “My initial goal is $10 billion. My median goal is $5 billion.”
There is also a question about the benefits for Bitcoin itself. Ihnatiuk says greater USDT adoption will increase miner fee revenue.
“Once USDT comes back to Bitcoin,” he says, “you will get meaningful adoption; all the transactions will come to Bitcoin. So, yeah, miners will be able to make much more.”
So can Bitcoin compete with Ethereum, Tron and other networks as a new home for USDT? Possibly; it just needs to prove there’s a market this time around.
On October 29, 2026, Polygon announced Solana support for Open Money Stack, extending its payments infrastructure to bank payins, customer accounts, embedded wallets and fiat payouts around Solana balances. Polygon says those functions are live now, alongside routing between Solana, TRON and EVM chains.
The release covers the money flow around a Solana application: accepting a deposit, identifying its owner, holding funds, moving them to another asset or chain, and paying them out. Solana can remain the application’s settlement layer. Polygon supplies the surrounding banking, wallet and routing services. Applications can use them without first moving their balances onto Polygon.
From bank money to a Solana account
Customers can enter through bank transfers, cards, cash or crypto. Polygon says the fiat on- and off-ramp infrastructure is backed by money transmitter licenses across 48 US states and supports conversion between dollars and stablecoins on Solana. The licenses describe the ramp infrastructure’s regulatory footprint; availability of individual payment methods still depends on the jurisdiction.
Virtual accounts identify the owner of incoming bank money. Each customer or business receives an account into which transfers can arrive, allowing the operator to identify whose money it has received. The virtual account handles bank intake. After conversion, the funds sit in a Solana account, separate from the account used to receive the bank transfer.
Polygon offers custodial or embedded wallets for those balances. Its embedded wallets now support Solana through the same API used for EVM wallets. An application can create and manage customer accounts through that interface, keeping the wallet and chain operations behind its own product screens. The announcement also lists programmable controls over when and where money moves as available now.
The routing component supports $USDC, $USDT, $PYUSD, $SOL and wrapped $SOL. Polygon gives an example: an application can receive $USDC from an Ethereum wallet and settle in $SOL for a Solana user, or run the flow in reverse. The source asset, source chain and asset delivered to the recipient can differ within the payment flow.
At the other end, customers can convert Solana stablecoins into fiat dollars and receive money through a bank account, card or cash collection at a store. Polygon says that off-ramp stays inside the business’s product experience. A customer receiving a stablecoin payment can choose a fiat exit or keep the balance in a wallet.
Routing uses existing liquidity infrastructure
Polygon’s separate explanation of Solana routing identifies Trails as the cross-chain component of OMS. It describes routes between Solana and more than 20 EVM chains in either direction. Named destinations include Polygon, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism and Avalanche. The page links to a live swap application and an interactive demo where developers can inspect the transaction experience.
The Trails documentation explains what sits beneath that interface. Trails aggregates a user’s wallet balances across chains and sources liquidity from existing infrastructure, including bridges, fillers and solvers. Its routing service sends flow to those systems. An application can remove the bridge-selection screen, but the underlying bridge or liquidity provider remains in the execution path when the chosen route requires it.
An application begins by defining an intent: the transaction it wants to complete, its destination chain and the token involved. Trails checks whether the transaction can succeed with assets already held on the current chain. If it can, the documented path is a direct call. Otherwise, Trails presents the user’s aggregated balances so the user can select a funding route.
The wallet confirmation deposits the requested amount into what Trails calls an intent address. Trails then handles the required swaps, bridges and execution. Developers can also supply calldata for an arbitrary smart-contract function at the destination. The documented mechanism can orchestrate that transaction as well as handle transfers of the same asset between wallets.
Trails also documents alternative gas payments for permit-compatible tokens. Where that mechanism is available, the widget offers fee-token choices alongside native gas. The user signs an off-chain permit, and the relayer deducts the fee from the selected token balance without a separate on-chain approval transaction. This permit mechanism applies to compatible tokens; the documentation does not describe it as a general method for handling Solana gas.
Polygon’s routing disclosure retains the infrastructure risks. Cross-chain functionality can depend on blockchain networks, smart contracts and third-party bridges outside Polygon’s control. The same disclosure says licensed partners may carry out regulated money services, including fiat ramps. A route can involve a provider handling the fiat payment and separate infrastructure executing the on-chain transaction.
Components can be adopted separately
Solana businesses can use the entire stack or select individual components while retaining their existing wallet, compliance provider, ledger or settlement rail. An operator can add routing or account infrastructure without replacing every provider in its payments system. Polygon offers the stack to fintechs, payment applications, marketplaces and other platforms building on Solana.
Its creator-payment example starts with a fan paying by dollar debit card. OMS converts the payment into a stablecoin on Solana and routes it across borders; the creator receives crypto or cashes out to a bank account. The announcement presents this as an illustrative workflow, not a named customer’s production transaction. It combines a card-funded payment with the recipient’s choice of bank or crypto delivery.
Polygon’s broader OMS product page qualifies the stack’s rollout. Its FAQ says many components are live while more components, including a single API for easy integration, are forthcoming. The Solana announcement says the listed payment functions are live now. Polygon has not reconciled the two descriptions on those pages, leaving the scope of the unified integration interface unclear.
The network out-added every other chain in a single day as USDT continues to treat TRON as its home base
TRON added $279.5 million in stablecoin market capitalization over a 24-hour period, more than any other blockchain over the same stretch.
That figure, recorded as of October 29, 2026, puts TRON back at the front of the daily stablecoin growth table.
The numbers behind the move
TRON hosted approximately $94.2 billion in stablecoins as of late October 2026. Nearly all of it is one asset.
Tether’s USDT accounts for $92.197 billion of that total, a 97.87% share of TRON’s stablecoin supply.
USDT on TRON also set an all-time high above $92.7 billion during this period. That came while global USDT supply held relatively steady at approximately $184 billion.
The 24-hour gain was not a one-off. In mid-October 2026, TRON added around $554.9 million in stablecoin market cap over a single week.
The total did move around within the month. By mid-October, TRON’s stablecoin cap sat at approximately $95.3 billion, compared with the approximately $94.2 billion figure later in October.
A quarter of heavy lifting
In the third quarter of 2026, TRON settled $2.21 trillion in stablecoins.
That works out to an average of around $24.05 billion per day. It also represented 73% of global stablecoin transfer volume for the quarter.
TRON’s share of total stablecoin market cap also climbed during the quarter. It rose to 30.2% by the end of Q3 2026, up from 28.7% in June 2026.
Why stablecoins keep landing on TRON
TRON’s appeal for stablecoin users has centered on low costs and fast settlement. For payments and remittances, those two features matter more than almost anything else.
The network has also picked up a new institutional on-ramp. The first US spot staked TRX ETF has broadened access to TRON for traditional investors, giving the ecosystem exposure beyond the crypto-native crowd.
What this means
For Tether, TRON’s growth reinforces an already deep dependency. With $92.197 billion of USDT living on one network out of a global supply of approximately $184 billion, a large portion of Tether’s footprint rides on TRON’s continued reliability.
Key things to watch include whether TRON’s share of total stablecoin market cap keeps climbing past 30.2%. Another is whether the network’s weekly additions, like the $554.9 million logged in mid-October, become a steady pattern or stay episodic.
The gap between the mid-October total of approximately $95.3 billion and the later approximately $94.2 billion figure is also worth tracking. Daily leaderboards capture momentum, but monthly totals reveal whether money is actually accumulating or simply cycling through.
Finally, global USDT supply is the backdrop for everything. If it stays relatively flat near approximately $184 billion, TRON’s gains increasingly come at the expense of other chains rather than from new dollars entering the system.

Want to Own a Piece of Professional Sports? This ETF Could Be Your TicketChurchill Downs NASDAQ: CHDN reported record third-quarter net revenue of $696 million and record adjusted EBITDA of $264 million, led by gains in its wagering services and solutions and gaming segments. The company also outlined plans to sell nine wholly owned regional gaming properties, expand its horse-racing and historical racing machine businesses, and launch a new Thoroughbred Championship Series in 2027.
Chief Executive Officer Bill Carstanjen said the company expects to announce executed transactions for the regional gaming properties by year-end. He said the assets are generally newer and better maintained than comparable properties and produce strong cash flow. Churchill Downs plans to use proceeds from the sales to reduce leverage, repurchase shares and selectively invest in Churchill Downs Racetrack and other growth projects.
Get Churchill Downs alerts:
Churchill Downs: The Derby Is Just the BeginningThe board authorized a new $750 million share-repurchase program during the week of the earnings call. Chief Financial Officer Marcia Dall said the company repurchased more than $48 million of shares during the third quarter and another $76 million between Oct. 1 and Oct. 27. The board also approved a 7% dividend increase payable Jan. 5, 2027, marking the company’s 16th consecutive year of dividend-per-share increases.
Regional Gaming Sale and Capital Position Carstanjen said the regional gaming divestiture process, being managed with Macquarie Capital, was progressing well despite higher interest rates and consumer uncertainty affecting the broader mergers-and-acquisitions market. Each of the nine properties has been marketed individually, he said, meaning the outcome is expected to consist of several smaller transactions rather than a single sale.
Why Flutter Entertainment May Be a Resilient Sports Betting StockDall said the company generated $603 million in free cash flow, or $8.59 per share, through the first nine months of 2026. Churchill Downs spent $57 million on maintenance capital and $119 million on project capital during that period. It now expects full-year maintenance capital spending of $90 million to $100 million and project capital spending of $160 million to $180 million. Project capital spending is expected to total $200 million to $250 million in 2027.
Bank leverage was 3.8 times at quarter-end. The company expects leverage to remain about 3.8 to 3.9 times through year-end before declining below 3.0 times after completing the regional gaming asset sales, Dall said.
Kentucky Derby Growth and Thoroughbred Championship Series Carstanjen described Churchill Downs Racetrack and the Kentucky Derby as the company’s “crown jewel” and said the company is working to broaden the event’s reach and earnings power through capital projects, guest-experience improvements, sponsorships, media engagement and new wagering products.
Ticket demand for the 153rd Kentucky Derby, scheduled for early May 2027, was ahead of the comparable pace for the prior year’s Derby, according to Carstanjen. In closing remarks, he clarified that ticket sales were up about 25% year over year and that roughly 40% of overall ticket inventory had been sold at that stage of the sales cycle.
Construction is underway on Victory Run, a new seating and hospitality development located just past the finish line. The project is scheduled for completion ahead of the 2028 Derby. For 2027, the area will include interim covered stadium seating and enhanced amenities. The completed development is planned to feature private suites, indoor and outdoor dining, and covered box seats.
The company also announced a multiyear partnership with Visa, which will become the preferred payment partner of Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby. Carstanjen said the arrangement includes sponsorship and hospitality elements as well as exclusive Derby Week offers and experiences for Visa clients and cardholders.
In 2027, Churchill Downs plans to launch the Thoroughbred Championship Series, or TCS, in partnership with the New York Racing Association. The Derby division will include six races beginning with the Kentucky Derby and continuing through the Belmont Stakes, a July race at Churchill Downs, two Saratoga races and a September championship race at Churchill Downs. The series will provide an additional $5 million in prize money beyond the individual race purses.
The Oaks division will include four races for fillies, beginning with the Kentucky Oaks. The top three horses will share a $1 million prize pool, and the winner will be invited to compete in the Derby division’s championship race for an opportunity to earn an additional $1 million bonus.
Carstanjen said the TCS is intended to create a season-long narrative around horse racing, with potential revenue opportunities from wagering, admissions, sponsorships, licensing, media rights and hospitality. He said the company expects wagering to contribute early, while media-rights development will take longer.
HRM Expansion and Gaming Trends In the live and historical racing segment, Kentucky HRM properties delivered record revenue, while adjusted EBITDA increased 10% from the prior-year quarter. Dall said Southwestern and Northern Kentucky locations posted double-digit adjusted EBITDA growth, and Louisville venues also produced a strong quarter.
Virginia adjusted EBITDA declined by $6 million excluding a one-time business interruption insurance recovery recorded in the prior-year period. Central Virginia venues faced competition from the temporary Petersburg casino, which opened in January, along with approximately $5 million in expenses tied to a new tax on live racing days that took effect July 1.
In Northern Virginia, The Rose continued to grow both year over year and sequentially, driven by rated and unrated play, customer awareness, marketing and higher spending per visit. Carstanjen said the company believes the market has significant room for further development.
Churchill Downs received final county approval to relocate and expand its Collinsville HRM venue to Henry County, closer to the North Carolina border. The company expects to acquire land for a 150-unit venue. It is also awaiting referendum results in Pulaski and Amherst County that could allow two additional 150-machine locations. The company currently operates about 4,700 HRMs in Virginia and has the right to deploy up to 5,000 across 10 sites.
The company is also expanding electronic table games. Roulette games have attracted new customers and reactivated inactive HRM customers in Kentucky, Carstanjen said. Churchill Downs expects to introduce craps electronic table games near year-end and is developing blackjack games for 2027.
In New Hampshire, Rockingham Grand Casino remains on schedule and on budget for a mid-2027 opening at The Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem. The property is expected to include roughly 800 to 850 HRMs and slots, 32 table games and an event center.
TwinSpires and Consumer Trends TwinSpires, the company’s online horse-racing wagering platform, continued to post wagering and EBITDA growth, Carstanjen said. Recent product additions include Jackpot 8, which requires bettors to select the first eight finishers in exact order, and Easy Bets, which allows wagers on odd- or even-numbered horses. The platform also introduced AI-based features including Paddock PRO AI and AI Race Preview.
Within the gaming segment, adjusted EBITDA increased 4% from the prior-year quarter. Nearly all wholly owned regional gaming properties grew compared with the same period a year earlier, while same-store margins were consistent with the prior-year quarter. Dall said consumer trends improved both year over year and sequentially, with higher-value rated play supporting growth and lower-value unrated play remaining resilient.

Momentum investing is all about the idea of following a stock's recent trend, which can be in either direction. In the "long context," investors will essentially be "buying high, but hoping to sell even higher." And for investors following this methodology, taking advantage of trends in a stock's price is key; once a stock establishes a course, it is more than likely to continue moving in that direction. The goal is that once a stock heads down a fixed path, it will lead to timely and profitable trades.
Even though momentum is a popular stock characteristic, it can be tough to define. Debate surrounding which are the best and worst metrics to focus on is lengthy, but the Zacks Momentum Style Score, part of the Zacks Style Scores, helps address this issue for us.
Below, we take a look at SharkNinja, Inc. (SN - Free Report) , a company that currently holds a Momentum Style Score of B. We also talk about price change and earnings estimate revisions, two of the main aspects of the Momentum Style Score.
It's also important to note that Style Scores work as a complement to the Zacks Rank, our stock rating system that has an impressive track record of outperformance. SharkNinja, Inc. currently has a Zacks Rank of #2 (Buy). Our research shows that stocks rated Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) and #2 (Buy) and Style Scores of "A or B" outperform the market over the following one-month period.
You can see the current list of Zacks #1 Rank Stocks here >>>
Set to Beat the Market? In order to see if SN is a promising momentum pick, let's examine some Momentum Style elements to see if this company holds up.
Looking at a stock's short-term price activity is a great way to gauge if it has momentum, since this can reflect both the current interest in a stock and if buyers or sellers have the upper hand at the moment. It's also helpful to compare a security to its industry; this can show investors the best companies in a particular area.
For SN, shares are up 5.29% over the past week while the Zacks Consumer Products - Discretionary industry is up 1.53% over the same time period. Shares are looking quite well from a longer time frame too, as the monthly price change of 10.02% compares favorably with the industry's 0.18% performance as well.
While any stock can see its price increase, it takes a real winner to consistently beat the market. That is why looking at longer term price metrics -- such as performance over the past three months or year -- can be useful as well. Shares of SharkNinja, Inc. have increased 8.82% over the past quarter, and have gained 107.49% in the last year. In comparison, the S&P 500 has only moved 4.52% and 13.57%, respectively.
Investors should also take note of SN's average 20-day trading volume. Volume is a useful item in many ways, and the 20-day average establishes a good price-to-volume baseline; a rising stock with above average volume is generally a bullish sign, whereas a declining stock on above average volume is typically bearish. Right now SN is averaging 1,126,720 shares for the last 20 days..
Earnings OutlookThe Zacks Momentum Style Score also takes into account trends in estimate revisions, in addition to price changes. Please note that estimate revision trends remain at the core of Zacks Rank as well. A nice path here can help show promise, and we have recently been seeing that with SN.
Over the past two months, 3 earnings estimates moved higher compared to none lower for the full year. These revisions helped boost SN's consensus estimate, increasing from $6.54 to $6.55 in the past 60 days. Looking at the next fiscal year, 3 estimates have moved upwards while there have been no downward revisions in the same time period.
Bottom LineGiven these factors, it shouldn't be surprising that SN is a #2 (Buy) stock and boasts a Momentum Score of B. If you're looking for a fresh pick that's set to soar in the near-term, make sure to keep SharkNinja, Inc. on your short list.
Harley-Davidson, Inc. (NYSE:HOG) stock declined on Thursday after the motorcycle maker reported weaker-than-expected fiscal 2026 third-quarter results that missed Wall Street expectations.

Motorcycle revenue decreased 11% to $822 million. Parts and accessories revenue declined 9% to $167 million, while apparel and licensing revenue fell 3% to $62 million.

Diluted earnings per share fell 87% from a year earlier to 40 cents.
Cash and cash equivalents as of Sept. 30 increased to $2.08 billion from $1.78 billion a year earlier.

Key Takeaways PAA leads ET in Return on Equity, debt management and six-month price performance.PAA's earnings per unit growth for 2026 and 2027 is better than ET in the past 60 days.ET offers a higher 6.66% distribution yield and a cheaper valuation, while PAA leads in distribution growth.
The companies operating in the Zacks Oil and Gas – Production Pipeline industry play a crucial role in the energy supply chain by facilitating the transportation, storage and distribution of crude oil and natural gas to end-use markets. Its extensive infrastructure ensures a steady supply of energy to households, industries and the transportation sector while strengthening energy security and supporting economic development. Midstream operations also enable the reliable delivery of essential raw materials for petrochemical and fertilizer manufacturing. With global energy consumption expected to rise, midstream companies are well positioned to benefit by transporting hydrocarbons to export terminals while supporting the growing adoption of cleaner energy sources and lower-carbon technologies.
Two prominent players in the U.S. midstream energy sector are Plains All American Pipeline L.P. (PAA - Free Report) and Energy Transfer LP (ET - Free Report) . Both companies operate extensive pipeline networks that play a vital role in transporting crude oil, natural gas and refined petroleum products across the United States. Their infrastructure supports the efficient movement of energy supplies to refineries, power generation facilities and end markets, offering a safer, more economical and reliable transportation alternative to rail and trucking.
Plains All American Pipeline specializes in the transportation, storage and marketing of crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs) across North America. Its well-established pipeline and terminal infrastructure is concentrated in major oil-producing regions, particularly the Permian Basin, allowing the partnership to capitalize on sustained production activity and growing transportation requirements. In addition, its largely fee-based operations and long-term contractual arrangements provide greater cash flow visibility while limiting exposure to commodity price volatility.
Energy Transfer, meanwhile, maintains a more diversified midstream business encompassing crude oil, natural gas, NGLs and refined products transportation, along with gathering, processing, storage and export operations. The company’s expansive infrastructure network and strong footprint in key production regions, including the Permian Basin, position it to benefit from growing domestic energy demand and export opportunities. Furthermore, strategic assets such as the Dakota Access Pipeline and its interests in energy export facilities strengthen Energy Transfer’s competitive position, expand market access and support long-term cash flow generation.
With U.S. oil and natural gas production continuing to grow, demand for midstream transportation, storage and processing services remains strong. Per a report from Fortune Business Insights, the global oil & gas pipeline market is projected to grow from $122.22 billion in 2026 to $195.09 billion by 2034. Against this favorable backdrop, a closer examination of the fundamentals of these two midstream firms can help determine which stock currently offers the more compelling investment opportunity.
PAA & ET’s Earnings Per Unit Growth ProjectionsThe Zacks Consensus Estimate for Plains All American Pipeline’s 2026 and 2027 earnings has increased 4.85% and 15.48%, respectively, in the past 60 days.
The consensus estimate for Energy Transfer’s 2026 earnings has increased 1.76% in the past 60 days, while the same for 2027 decreased 0.59% in the same timeframe.

Return on EquityReturn on Equity (“ROE”) is an important measure of financial performance that indicates how efficiently a company converts shareholder equity into profits. It highlights management’s effectiveness in utilizing invested capital to grow earnings and enhance shareholder value.
ET’s current ROE is 11.55% compared with PAA’s 12.13%. This indicates PAA’s management is utilizing its funds marginally better than ET.
Debt to CapitalThe oil and gas midstream industry is capital-intensive. The firms operating in this space need to borrow to fund their capital projects. Interest rates are rising again, which can increase the capital financing costs of the firms.
At present, ET’s debt to capital is 57.52%, higher than PAA’s 37.13%. This indicates ET’s management is utilizing a higher percentage of debt to run its operations compared with PAA.
PAA and ET’s Cash DistributionMidstream companies typically generate stable and substantial cash flows, supported by fee-based contracts and regulated tariffs that provide predictable revenue streams. Both Plains All American Pipeline and Energy Transfer benefit from these arrangements, enabling them to generate consistent cash flows and return a significant portion to unitholders through regular distributions.
PAA’s current cash distribution yield is 6.32%. The firm has raised its distribution five times over the past five years. The annualized average distribution growth for the past five years is 19.94%.
ET’s current cash distribution yield is 6.66%. The firm has raised its distribution 20 times in the past five years. The annualized average distribution growth for the past five years is 13.68%.
ValuationPlains All American Pipeline’s units are trading at a premium compared with Energy Transfer. PAA’s current trailing 12-month Enterprise Value/Earnings before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization (EV/EBITDA) is 10.88X compared with Energy Transfer’s 9.43X.

Price PerformancePlains All American Pipeline’s units have gained 15.5% in the past six months compared with Energy Transfer’s rally of 2.6%.

Summing UpPAA and ET provide efficient midstream services across their operating territories, leveraging extensive infrastructure networks and a strong presence in the prolific Permian Basin.
Based on the above discussion, Plains All American Pipeline has a clear edge over Energy Transfer due to better ROE, lower percentage of debt usage, stronger earnings estimates movement and better price performance.
Considering the above facts, it is evident that Plains All American Pipeline, which currently has a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy), has stronger prospects compared with Energy Transfer, which has a Zacks Rank of 3 (Hold).

Key Takeaways JBHT's shares fell 17.8% in 12 weeks, but margin pressures and a premium valuation favor a cautious approach.
J.B. Hunt's intermodal volumes rose 8%, while brokerage volumes jumped 22% in the third quarter of 2026.
JBHT's revenues climbed 20.4% to $3.68 billion, but operating margin narrowed to 6.7% from 7.9%.
J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. ((JBHT - Free Report) ) has lost 17.8% over the last three months, underperforming its industry and renewing the question of whether the retreat offers an attractive entry point. The latest operating trends provide reasons for optimism, especially in intermodal and brokerage demand.
3-Month Price ComparisonImage Source: Zacks Investment Research
The other side of the case is less comfortable. Costs are still limiting margin expansion, while the stock trades above key valuation benchmarks. That combination suggests investors should distinguish an improving freight backdrop from a fully repaired earnings profile.
JBHT Freight Demand Shows Improving Momentum
Intermodal volumes increased 8% year over year in the third quarter of 2026, with Eastern network loads up 18%. Management cited strong road-to-rail conversion demand, particularly in the East, as customers sought reliable capacity and favorable intermodal economics.
Integrated Capacity Solutions volumes rose 22%, adding another sign that freight activity is strengthening. Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. ((ODFL - Free Report) ) is a major North American less-than-truckload carrier, giving investors a useful comparison with a freight model centered more heavily on LTL services.
J.B. Hunt Pricing Gains Support Revenue Growth
Third-quarter revenues increased 20.4% year over year to $3.68 billion. Intermodal revenue per load rose 11%, although the gain excluding fuel surcharge revenues was 2%, showing that both pricing and fuel-related revenue contributed to the headline increase.
Truckload revenue per load excluding fuel surcharges advanced 29%, while Integrated Capacity Solutions revenue per load increased 29%. Another trucking company, ArcBest (ARCB - Free Report) , provides freight transportation services and solutions. The company is based in Fort Smith, AR.
JBHT Costs Keep the Earnings Recovery Uneven
Companywide operating margin narrowed to 6.7% from 7.9% a year earlier even as revenues climbed. Higher purchased transportation, professional driver personnel expenses, equipment-related costs and insurance and group medical claims limited the benefit from stronger demand and productivity improvements.
Dedicated Contract Services operating income fell 22% to $81.7 million as driver, medical, insurance, equipment and onboarding expenses rose. Final Mile Services operating income dropped 76% to $1.6 million, reflecting lower revenues and higher purchased transportation expense.
J.B. Hunt Valuation Leaves Less Room for ErrorJBHT trades at 25.03X forward 12-month earnings, above the Zacks sub-industry multiple of 24.32X and its five-year median of 22.98X. The premium means the recent share-price decline has not pushed the stock into an obviously discounted valuation range.
That matters because margin recovery remains a work in progress. Stronger pricing can help absorb higher operating costs, but the current multiple leaves less room for execution setbacks if driver, insurance or purchased transportation expenses stay elevated.
JBHT Signals Favor Patience After the PullbackThe pullback has improved the entry price, but the evidence still supports a patient stance rather than an aggressive buying call. Demand, volume growth and pricing are moving in the right direction, while margin pressure and valuation continue to offset part of that progress.
JBHT currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold). You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.
It also has a Growth Score of B, Value Score of C, Momentum Score of F and VGM Score of C. The favorable Growth Score supports the earnings-growth profile, but the midrange Value and VGM readings and weak Momentum Score point to a mixed setup. The Hold rank reinforces a wait-and-watch approach while investors look for more consistent margin improvement.
Key Takeaways J.B. Hunt's 2027 revenues are projected to grow 10.1%, while earnings are expected to surge 33.9%.JBHT's Intermodal revenues climbed 20% to $1.83 billion in Q3 2026, driven by an 8% rise in volumes.J.B. Hunt's operating margin fell to 6.7% from 7.9%, while its 25.0X forward P/E exceeds historical levels. J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. (JBHT - Free Report) is entering 2027 with improving freight demand, stronger pricing and a profitable brokerage business. Third-quarter 2026 revenues rose 20.4% year over year to $3.68 billion, while earnings increased 3.4% to $1.82 per share.
The recovery is not clean. Higher driver, insurance, fuel and purchased transportation costs continue to pressure margins, and the stock trades above its historical forward earnings valuation. That makes earnings execution increasingly important.
JBHT Growth Outlook Points to a Stronger 2027The Zacks Consensus Estimate calls for 2027 revenues of $15.26 billion, up from $13.87 billion projected for 2026. That implies sales growth of 10.1% as freight activity, pricing and customer demand improve.
The earnings outlook is stronger. The consensus estimate for 2027 earnings is $9.70 per share compared with $7.25 for 2026, indicating projected growth of 33.8%. The estimates assume that stronger pricing and improving freight conditions translate into better profitability as cost pressures normalize.
J.B. Hunt Intermodal Strengthens the Bull CaseIntermodal remains J.B. Hunt's largest business, generating 50% of 2025 revenues. In the third quarter of 2026, Intermodal revenues rose 20% year over year to $1.83 billion, while volumes increased 8%. Eastern network loads climbed 18%, supported by road-to-rail conversion demand.
The segment's scale, railroad relationships and network efficiency support its competitive position as customers seek reliable capacity. Schneider National, Inc. (SNDR - Free Report) is another large North American intermodal provider, while Hub Group, Inc. (HUBG - Free Report) offers intermodal, truck brokerage, asset trucking and dedicated transportation services. Their presence underscores the competitive importance of multimodal capacity and service reliability.
JBHT Margin Risks Complicate the RecoveryRevenue growth has not yet translated into consistent margin expansion. Companywide operating margin narrowed to 6.7% in the third quarter from 7.9% a year earlier as purchased transportation, fuel and insurance-related costs increased.
Dedicated Contract Services operating income fell 22% year over year to $81.7 million as driver expenses, medical claims, insurance premiums, equipment costs and new-business onboarding weighed on results. Final Mile Services operating income dropped 76% to $1.6 million, while driver availability also limited Intermodal's ability to capture additional demand.
J.B. Hunt Shares Carry a Premium ValuationJBHT trades at 25.0X forward 12-month earnings, above the Zacks Transportation - Truck sub-industry multiple of 24.3X and the stock's five-year median of 23.0X. The premium is not extreme, but it leaves less room for disappointment if margin recovery takes longer than expected.
The valuation therefore places more weight on earnings delivery. Stronger pricing, intermodal demand and brokerage profitability can support the case for upside, but investors are already paying above the stock's historical median for that improvement.
JBHT Ratings Point to Growth but Not a Clear BargainJBHT's improving 2027 earnings outlook and Intermodal momentum support a constructive fundamental view, but valuation and cost pressure argue against treating the shares as an obvious bargain. The risk-reward profile looks more balanced than compelling at current levels.
The stock currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold). You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.
It has a Growth Score of B, Value Score of C, Momentum Score of F and VGM Score of C. The Growth Score supports the improving earnings outlook, while the weaker Value and Momentum readings temper the near-term case. Taken together, the ratings favor patience rather than an aggressive buy stance.
The Waste Management industry is experiencing positive trends in government regulations, adoption of advanced technologies and an increasing awareness of environmental issues. Despite rising operating costs, the industry does not shy away from swift industrialization and urbanization. Key Takeaways SFM's Q3 EPS fell 0.8% to $1.21, while sales grew 4.7% to $2.30 billion, with both missing estimates.Comparable sales fell 0.9% as weaker traffic and cyclospora disruptions pressured margins.SFM lowered its 2026 outlook, projecting 4.3% sales growth, a 1.7% decline in comps and EPS of about $4.80.
Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. (SFM - Free Report) reported third-quarter 2026 results, wherein both the top and bottom lines missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate. Earnings of $1.21 per share fell 0.8% year over year and lagged the consensus estimate of $1.22.
Net sales increased 4.7% year over year to $2,304.7 million but missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2,329 million. Strong new-store performance supported sales growth, while comparable-store sales declined 0.9%. A challenging consumer environment, weaker traffic and a cyclospora-related disruption weighed on performance.
SFM's Sales Trends Reflect Traffic ChallengesComparable-store sales declined 0.9% during the quarter, reflecting a 3.3% decrease in comparable transactions, partly offset by a 2.5% increase in the average basket size. Management noted that sales trends softened during August and September despite easing year-over-year comparisons. The cyclospora disruption hurt comparable sales by about 60 basis points.
E-commerce remained a bright spot, with sales increasing 12% and accounting for more than 16% of total sales. Sprouts Farmers also expanded its digital reach by adding Shipt as its fourth e-commerce platform. The company ended the quarter with $228.7 million in cash and cash equivalents and no outstanding borrowings under its $600 million revolving credit facility.
Sprouts Farmers Lowers Its 2026 OutlookFor the fourth quarter of 2026, management expects comparable-store sales to decline between 2% and 4%, with earnings per share projected between 47 cents and 51 cents. The outlook incorporates approximately 90 basis points of gross margin pressure and 170 basis points of SG&A deleverage.
On a 52-week basis, management now projects full-year net sales growth of approximately 4.3% and a comparable-store sales decline of approximately 1.7%. Management had earlier guided net sales growth of 5.5% to 6.5% with comparable-store sales down 0.5% to up 0.5%.

Cysic has announced that its cross-chain bridge has fully recovered following the security incident, allowing users to resume bridging CYS between the Cysic mainnet and other supported chains. A total of 7,200,002 CYS tokens have been permanently burned on BNB Smart Chain.
On October 17, an attacker exploited a vulnerability in the cross-chain bridge’s message processing to mint 10 million CYS tokens without authorization. The attacker then sold approximately 7.2 million tokens and transferred around $727,000 in proceeds to Ethereum. Cysic subsequently suspended bridging services and blacklisted the attacker’s address to freeze the remaining ~2.8 million CYS. The project confirmed that assets in the mainnet and user wallets were unharmed.
The foundation previously announced plans to burn ~7.2 million CYS from reserves to offset the unauthorized minting and recalibrate token economics, and two burn transactions have now been completed.

VIA Labs launched two-way cross-chain messaging between Stellar’s Soroban platform and Ethereum mainnet.
Developers can use it for stablecoin transfers, tokenized assets and cross-chain smart contract actions.
Transfers using the VIAT reference token finish in about one to three minutes.
VIA is waiving its protocol fee on Stellar routes during the launch period.
The news came during Stellar’s Meridian conference, alongside updates from Securitize and DTCC.
VIA Labs has launched cross-chain messaging between Stellar and Ethereum on mainnet. The new connection lets smart contracts on Stellar’s Soroban platform communicate with contracts on Ethereum.
The company announced the launch on October 28 at Stellar’s Meridian conference in Lisbon, Portugal. The event ran from October 28 to 29.
Messages can travel in both directions between the two networks. Separate versions are also available on each network’s test network.
How the Stellar and Ethereum Connection Works
Developers can use the system to move supported tokens, coordinate contract actions, and build apps for stablecoins or tokenized real-world assets. VIA Labs named cross-border stablecoin payments and automated contract execution as possible uses.
To show how transfers work, VIA Labs deployed a reference token called VIAT. It uses a burn-and-mint method to move tokens between chains.
When a user starts a transfer, the source contract burns the tokens. It then creates a message with the recipient’s address, the amount, and an optional memo.
VIA’s validators watch the source gateway and sign the message. A relayer then delivers it to the destination gateway, which checks the signatures and tells the token contract to mint the same amount.
The company says this keeps the total VIAT supply the same across both chains. Transfers usually finish in about one to three minutes.
Stellar uses seven decimal places for token amounts, while Ethereum uses 18. VIA’s client converts the amounts, so five VIAT sent from one network arrives as five VIAT on the other.
Fees, Security and Developer Tools
Users pay normal network fees, using Stellar’s native token on Stellar or gas on Ethereum. VIA is waiving its protocol fee on Stellar routes during the launch period, and its relayers cover costs on the receiving side.
People receiving tokens on Stellar need an existing funded account. VIA warns that tokens sent to an account that never existed on the network may be lost for good.
The deployment uses VIA’s VG1 smart contracts, which were audited by security firm Hashlock. Messages must come from contracts, not from regular wallet accounts.
For testing, VIA offers a faucet that gives out 100 VIAT per request on Stellar testnet and Ethereum Sepolia. Developers must update testnet addresses after Stellar’s quarterly testnet resets.
The launch follows Stellar’s September rollout of USDT0, which connected the network to Tether-backed stablecoin transfers through LayerZero. That service focuses on USDT liquidity, while VIA’s system supports general contract messaging.
On October 28, Securitize said it plans to add Stellar as its 17th supported blockchain for regulated assets. Securitize works with firms including BlackRock, Apollo and Hamilton Lane.
DTCC also discussed its planned Stellar integration for tokenized securities during Meridian. The company recently launched its tokenization service with 20 institutions and is targeting a public network rollout in 2027.
DeFi protocol Curve Finance and the Stellar Development Foundation announced that Curve has launched on the Stellar mainnet, marking its first non-EVM native deployment. The StableSwap feature is now available, enabling users to permissionlessly create liquidity pools, swap assets, and provide liquidity. Curve founder Michael Egorov stated that the expansion to non-EVM chains is partially driven by institutional demand, adding that Stellar is relatively aligned with existing EVM usage habits. The project also plans to roll out FXSwap after an audit is completed, though no timeline has been provided. According to DeFiLlama data, Curve’s current total value locked stands at approximately $1.27 billion.

The DeFi protocol brings StableSwap to Stellar's mainnet to support stablecoin and tokenized asset trading, with FXSwap expected to follow after an audit.
Curve Finance has launched its StableSwap protocol on the Stellar blockchain, marking the decentralized exchange’s first native deployment outside Ethereum Virtual Machine compatible networks as it expands liquidity infrastructure for stablecoins and tokenized financial assets.
The integration, announced Thursday, brings Curve’s automated market maker to Stellar’s mainnet, allowing users to swap stablecoins, provide liquidity and earn trading fees through an initial set of pools.
Built with support from the Stellar Development Foundation, the deployment uses Soroban, Stellar’s smart contract platform, rather than the Ethereum-based technology underlying Curve’s existing integrations.
The launch is initially available through a beta interface at stellar.curve.finance, where users can connect compatible wallets, including Freighter, to trade assets and deposit liquidity.
Curve said the integration responds to institutional demand for deeper liquidity across Stellar’s stablecoin and tokenized asset markets.
“At Curve, we started exploring possibilities of launching beyond EVM chains if there is demand,” said Michael Egorov, Curve’s founder.
“Stellar looks like a good fit: it’s closer to the familiar EVM world than many other chains. And at the same time, the demand for Curve is there, and it comes from institutions.”
Curve brings StableSwap liquidity to Stellar’s tokenized asset markets
Curve’s StableSwap technology is designed for efficient trading between assets that maintain similar prices, such as stablecoins pegged to the same currency.
The protocol concentrates liquidity around their expected exchange rate, allowing traders to execute larger transactions with less slippage than conventional liquidity pools, provided the assets maintain their pegs.
Curve originally introduced StableSwap on Ethereum in 2020 and subsequently expanded the technology across multiple EVM compatible networks.
Stellar required a separate implementation because its smart contracts run through Soroban rather than the EVM. Curve said it rebuilt the protocol for Stellar while preserving its underlying pricing mathematics.
The integration targets an ecosystem already used by financial institutions to issue and transfer tokenized assets.
Franklin Templeton operates a tokenized money market fund on Stellar, while MoneyGram uses the network for payment services.
Stellar also supports issuer controls, including identity verification, asset freezes and clawbacks, allowing regulated financial products to operate alongside decentralized applications.
Denelle Dixon, CEO and Executive Director of the Stellar Development Foundation, said the deployment could strengthen trading infrastructure for the network’s growing tokenized asset ecosystem.
“Stablecoins and tokenized assets only deliver real value when people can move between them efficiently, and Curve’s arrival gives developers on the Stellar network’s proven infrastructure to build those markets,” Dixon said.
The new liquidity pools could also provide infrastructure for lending applications, allowing protocols to exchange collateral during liquidations or enabling borrowers to close positions.
Curve said trading fees generated by its Stellar deployment will also contribute to the Curve DAO under the protocol’s existing fee arrangements.
Curve plans FXSwap expansion for stablecoin currency trading
Curve plans to introduce FXSwap on Stellar after completing its security audit, extending the deployment beyond assets that maintain the same price.
Unlike StableSwap, FXSwap is designed to facilitate trading between assets whose relative values fluctuate, including stablecoins pegged to different national currencies.
The protocol concentrates liquidity around prevailing market exchange rates rather than assuming a fixed peg, making it suitable for onchain foreign exchange transactions.
Curve said development is nearly complete, but it has not announced a launch date or confirmed which currency pairs will be supported.
The company also plans to expand its Stellar interface with permissionless pool creation, improved analytics and additional routing capabilities.
Its initial launch is described as a limited deployment, with the longer-term goal of bringing Curve’s broader liquidity infrastructure to Stellar.
Curve said Stellar will remain its only planned non-EVM expansion for the foreseeable future as it focuses on growing stablecoin liquidity and supporting tokenized asset markets on the network.

Airtm has partnered with Mastercard-owned stablecoin infrastructure provider BVNK to introduce wallet-based payments for users in emerging markets through a new integration built on the Stellar blockchain.
Summary
Airtm has partnered with Mastercard’s BVNK to allow users in emerging markets to pay participating retailers directly from their digital wallets. The integration will operate through the newly launched Airtm Connect platform, which connects digital asset companies with Airtm’s existing user network. Stellar will serve as the blockchain payment network for the integration, with the companies planning to begin rolling out the service in Q4 2026. The partnership will give Airtm access to Mastercard’s Global Money Platform, which supports traditional currency accounts, stablecoin payments and international money transfers. BVNK will become another infrastructure provider for Airtm, giving the company more options for handling customer deposits, incoming transfers and payments across different markets. According to an announcement made at the Stellar Meridian Conference on Oct. 29, the partnership will allow Airtm customers to pay participating retailers directly from their digital wallets using BVNK’s payment infrastructure.
The service will operate through Airtm Connect, a newly launched product that allows digital asset companies to connect their services with Airtm’s existing user network.
Both companies expect to begin rolling out the integration in the fourth quarter of 2026, with new options for customers to fund their wallets, receive payments and spend their balances at supported merchants.
Airtm Connect will support direct wallet payments Under the agreement, Airtm users will be able to make purchases at retailers supported by BVNK without having to move their funds to a separate payment service first.
Airtm Connect will provide the connection between the company’s digital wallet network and external financial service providers, including BVNK.
The integration will use Stellar as its underlying blockchain payment network, allowing transactions to be processed through infrastructure designed for low-cost transfers.
Airtm operates in emerging markets where customers often use digital dollars and alternative financial services to receive international payments, hold funds and access global commerce.
The company said its partnership with BVNK would help address difficulties customers face when moving money between digital wallets and conventional payment systems.
Rubén Galindo Steckel, CEO of Airtm, said the company has spent the past decade developing financial infrastructure that connects users in underserved markets with the global dollar economy.
“We believe payments should move natively on-chain – it’s simply a better way to move money,” Steckel said.
He explained that reliable funding services need to work alongside payment options that allow customers to spend their money.
According to Steckel, BVNK’s existing banking connections and stablecoin funding infrastructure will complement Airtm’s network of users and local payment services.
The partnership will provide Airtm with another infrastructure provider as it continues operating across jurisdictions with different banking systems, stablecoin regulations and access to liquidity.
Mastercard Global Money Platform joins the integration Airtm will gain access to Mastercard’s recently launched Global Money Platform through its partnership with BVNK.
The platform allows financial technology companies and businesses to manage traditional currencies, stablecoins, international transfers and payment accounts through a single application programming interface.
As previously reported by crypto.news, Mastercard introduced the service in October following its acquisition of BVNK earlier this year.
Nuvei, Marqeta, Ontop, Beem and Almond FinTech were among the first companies preparing to integrate the platform.
Its services include multicurrency accounts, currency conversion, payment cards and local bank transfers, allowing participating companies to select the functions they need.
Mastercard expects local bank payouts through Mastercard Move to support more than 40 currencies across over 200 countries and territories in 2027.
For Airtm, access to the platform will provide additional payment and banking infrastructure while allowing the company to maintain its existing relationships with customers.
Mastercard completed its BVNK acquisition in August under a deal valued at up to $1.8 billion.
The acquisition brought BVNK’s technology for stablecoin settlements, international payouts and treasury operations into Mastercard’s payments business.
Kimberly Mescal Julien, global head of partnerships at BVNK, said the Airtm agreement demonstrates how financial technology companies can connect digital wallets with everyday commerce.
She described Airtm Connect as a way for wallet providers to offer customers more opportunities to spend their funds through existing payment infrastructure.
Stellar will handle blockchain transactions The Airtm integration will use Stellar, which BVNK added to its stablecoin payments platform in September.
BVNK’s Stellar network integration made the blockchain available to business customers through its existing API, supporting payments, remittances and treasury transfers across more than 130 markets.
Customers can access Stellar without developing separate blockchain connections or replacing their current payment systems.
The network supports transfers between blockchain accounts and provides infrastructure for businesses handling digital asset payments across different markets.
BVNK’s existing Stellar connection will serve as the blockchain component of its arrangement with Airtm, while the companies’ respective services will handle wallet access and payment connectivity.
The announcement did not identify the stablecoins that Airtm customers will initially be able to spend through the integration.
Airtm plans to expand its payment infrastructure Beyond merchant payments, the partnership will give Airtm additional options for handling customer deposits and incoming transfers across its supported markets.
The company currently works with multiple financial infrastructure providers to serve users across different countries and payment systems.
According to Airtm, BVNK will become another provider within that network, allowing the company to offer different funding routes depending on customer needs and local availability.
Steckel said Airtm does not intend to depend on a single payment provider or blockchain network as it develops its international services.
“Our infrastructure strategy has always been about choice for Airtm and for our users,” he said.
The companies have scheduled the initial rollout for Q4 2026, although they have not announced which countries or participating retailers will receive access first.
VIA Labs has introduced a two-way cross-chain messaging system connecting Stellar’s Soroban smart contract platform with Ethereum’s mainnet, aiming to simplify interoperability for developers and users. The launch was announced during Stellar’s Meridian conference in Lisbon, which took place on October 28 and 29, and arrives as both networks expand support for decentralized applications and tokenized assets.
New interoperability for Stellar and EthereumStellar is an open-source payments network designed for fast, secure, and cost-efficient transfers, with its recent innovation, Soroban, delivering on-chain smart contract functionality. By integrating with Ethereum, one of the most widely used blockchain platforms, VIA Labs seeks to bridge the gap between two major blockchain ecosystems and foster broader adoption of cross-chain applications.
The messaging system allows smart contracts on the Stellar Soroban platform to communicate directly with those on Ethereum, enabling developers to move tokens, trigger actions on other chains, and create apps focused on stablecoin payments or tokenized real-world assets. This bi-directional connection is also available on the test networks of both blockchains, allowing projects to experiment before deploying to mainnet.
How the cross-chain process worksTo validate the capability, VIA Labs deployed a reference token, VIAT, which enables burn-and-mint token bridging between Stellar and Ethereum. When a user initiates a transfer, tokens are burned on the originating chain and minted on the destination chain. The source contract generates a message with essential details, which is then signed by VIA validators. A relayer passes this signed message to the receiving gateway, which checks the signatures before instructing a corresponding contract to mint new tokens.
Transfers typically complete within one to three minutes. The system also accounts for differences in decimal precision, as Stellar supports seven decimal places while Ethereum allows 18, ensuring transferred amounts remain consistent across both networks.
Mini dictionary: Soroban is Stellar’s smart contract platform, designed to provide flexible, secure, and efficient on-chain programmability for decentralized applications. Its integration with Ethereum broadens the scope for innovative cross-chain dApps.
Fee structure, security, and developer resourcesDuring the initial rollout, VIA Labs is waiving its protocol fee on Stellar-based transactions, with relayers covering the cost of token deliveries. Users must still pay standard network fees: Stellar’s native token for the Stellar network and gas for Ethereum.
To receive tokens on Stellar, recipients need a pre-existing funded account, and VIA Labs warns that sending to non-existent accounts could result in irreversible loss of funds. The system relies on VIA’s VG1 smart contracts, which underwent an audit by the cybersecurity firm Hashlock. Only smart contracts—not externally owned wallet addresses—are permitted to initiate these messages.
For testing purposes, VIA Labs provides a faucet distributing 100 VIAT per request on both Stellar testnet and Ethereum’s Sepolia testnet. Developers must occasionally update testnet addresses due to periodic resets on the Stellar testnet.
VIA Labs reports that cross-chain transfers are finalized in approximately one to three minutes and highlights their decision to waive protocol fees on Stellar routes during launch, offering additional relief for early users.
Broader ecosystem momentumThe launch follows Stellar’s recent introduction of USDT0, which enables Tether-backed stablecoin transfers using LayerZero, although LayerZero mainly targets USDT liquidity while VIA’s protocol is focused on generalized contract messaging. These developments signal increased activity in cross-chain and tokenized asset capabilities within the Stellar ecosystem.
At Meridian, Securitize, a digital asset and tokenization platform working with firms including BlackRock, Apollo, and Hamilton Lane, announced plans to add Stellar as its 17th supported blockchain for regulated assets. The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), a leading clearinghouse in financial markets, also discussed its ongoing effort to integrate Stellar in its tokenized securities infrastructure. DTCC recently began providing tokenization services to 20 institutions and is targeting a public network rollout in 2027.

Curve Finance has launched on Stellar, marking its first native deployment outside the EVM ecosystem.
Stellar users can create permissionless pools, swap assets, and provide liquidity through Curve’s interface.
The Stellar Development Foundation supported the deployment to expand stablecoin and tokenized asset trading.
Curve plans to introduce FXSwap on Stellar after its audit, targeting efficient cross-currency asset trading.
Curve Finance has launched on the Stellar mainnet, marking its first native deployment outside the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecosystem.
The release brings the protocol’s audited StableSwap implementation to Stellar. Users can create pools permissionlessly, discover existing pools, swap assets, and provide liquidity.
The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) supported the deployment, which was built for the network’s smart-contract environment.
The launch brings stablecoin-focused trading to a new network. The interface is now available at stellar.curve.finance for users.
StableSwap Brings Low-Slippage Trading to Stellar
Curve Finance is among the leading DeFi protocols for stablecoin trading. StableSwap is designed for low-slippage trading between stablecoins pegged to the same currency.
The model also covers other closely correlated assets. Curve Finance’s audited StableSwap implementation now operates on the network.
Michael Egorov, founder of Curve Finance, spoke about the move beyond EVM chains. He said, “
Egorov then addressed demand on the network. He continued, “
The use cases extend beyond standalone swaps. As liquidity develops, other applications can integrate these pools. The pools can then serve as trading venues for collateral liquidations.
They can also support exits from positions in lending and other financial applications. This gives asset issuers a way to develop trading venues for supported assets on the Stellar network. Users can create these pools permissionlessly, without needing approval.
SDF Backs the Deployment as FXSwap Plans Emerge
Denelle Dixon, CEO and Executive Director of the Stellar Development Foundation, commented on the launch. She said,
Dixon added, “ The SDF supported the deployment of the protocol on the network.
Curve also plans to bring FXSwap to the Stellar network once its audit is complete. FXSwap is designed for efficient trading between assets whose relative prices change. Examples include stablecoins pegged to different currencies.
FXSwap concentrates liquidity around market prices. This provides dedicated infrastructure for onchain currency conversion.
Meanwhile, Curve Finance’s integration gives developers and asset issuers new ways to build onchain markets. It also adds utility to stablecoins and tokenized assets. Users can access the deployment through stellar.curve.finance.
StableSwap is the first Curve deployment built for a chain outside the EVM. FXSwap follows once its audit is complete.
StableSwap is the first Curve deployment built for a chain outside the EVM. FXSwap follows once its audit is complete.
Curve is opening its technology to the Stellar ecosystem, starting with StableSwap. The AMM for assets that should trade at nearly the same price, such as two dollar stablecoins, now runs on Stellar mainnet. Its interface at stellar.curve.finance is in beta: you can browse pools, swap and add liquidity there today.
StableSwap has run on Ethereum since Curve launched in 2020. Since then, it is powering pools on many EVM chains and has settled stablecoin trades through several market cycles and depegs. Stellar doesn't run the EVM, though, so Curve's Vyper contracts couldn't just be copied over. The team rebuilt StableSwap from the ground up for Soroban, Stellar's smart-contract platform, with support from the Stellar Development Foundation. The math hasn't changed.
Why StellarThe Stellar Development Foundation asked Curve to deploy. SDF works with a number of financial institutions building on the network, and Curve will work with SDF to build stronger stablecoin markets there.
"At Curve, we started exploring possibilities of launching beyond EVM chains if there is demand. Stellar looks like a good fit: it's closer to the familiar EVM world than many other chains. And at the same time, the demand for Curve is there, and it comes from institutions. Excited to see where this integration goes!"
Michael Egorov, founder of CurveStellar has carried payments since 2014. Franklin Templeton runs a tokenized money market fund on it, and MoneyGram moves money across it every day. An issuer can keep an asset fully open, or switch on KYC, clawback and sanctions controls. The regulated stablecoins and tokenized funds that live there need places to trade against each other.
What's in it for youIf you trade stablecoins on Stellar. Swaps between assets that should hold the same price, such as two dollar stablecoins, land close to one-for-one, even at size. The pool keeps its liquidity packed around that shared price, so less of your trade is lost to slippage.
If you hold stablecoins you're not using. Deposit them into a pool and earn a share of the fee on every swap. The pooled assets track the same price, so your deposit avoids the swings that hit pools of volatile pairs, as long as the pegs hold.
If you hold veCRV. Fees work as on any other Curve deployment, so swaps on Stellar earn for the Curve DAO too.
If you issue an asset. A deep Curve pool gives your holders a place to get in and out at a fair price. It also gives lending apps a venue for liquidations, which makes your asset easier to accept as collateral. Pool creation is permissionless. If you want to deploy before the interface supports it, contact us on Telegram or Discord and we'll help you launch your pool.
More than swapsAs pools deepen, other applications can build on them. A lending protocol on Stellar can sell seized collateral through a pool during a liquidation, and a borrower can use one to close a position.
Route aggregators can send trades through the same pools. If you run one, find us on Telegram or Discord through the links in the app footer.
"Stablecoins and tokenized assets only deliver real value when people can move between them efficiently, and Curve's arrival gives developers on the Stellar network's proven infrastructure to build those markets. Having one of DeFi's most trusted liquidity protocols choose the Stellar network for its first native deployment outside EVM shows that the network is the home for practical financial applications."
Denelle Dixon, CEO and Executive Director of the Stellar Development FoundationUsing stellar.curve.financeSwaps and deposits are live at stellar.curve.finance, starting with the first pool. Connect a Stellar wallet such as Freighter to get started. Like any pool, these carry smart contract risk and the risk of a depeg.
What comes nextThis launch is a lite deployment. The goal is the full Curve stack on Stellar, open to anyone building there. Pool deployment comes to the interface next, so issuers can launch pools themselves. After that come better pool pages and a router with more metrics and data.
FXSwap comes after StableSwap. It is built for pairs whose prices move against each other, including stablecoins pegged to different currencies, such as a dollar stablecoin and a euro stablecoin. It concentrates liquidity around the current market price instead of a fixed peg, which makes it infrastructure for onchain currency conversion. Development is almost complete and the audit is the next step. We'll share the timeline and the first currency pairs once they're confirmed.
Stellar is our only non-EVM focus for the foreseeable future. We want this deployment to succeed and will concentrate on stablecoin growth in the Stellar ecosystem before considering any other integration.
Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) announced a strategic investment in Asia-Pacific digital market infrastructure operator Marketnode, aiming to expand institutional investors’ access to tokenized real-world financial assets on the Stellar network.

The Canadian government and Nvidia have participated in Cohere's financing round, with the latter's valuation exceeding $20 billion.
Canadian AI model startup Cohere is undertaking a large-scale financing round, with a valuation of $20.5 billion — roughly triple its value a year ago. Cohere announced Thursday that it has completed the first tranche of this financing round, with a total expected size of up to $50 billion. It has secured investment commitments from backers including the Canadian government and NVIDIA, and the $6 billion investment from European retail giant Schwarz Group, previously disclosed, is also included. The Canadian government has agreed to invest up to $1.14 billion in Cohere.

XLM price is testing the top of a downtrend channel that has held since late September. Stellar is now a default network in MetaMask’s mobile app and browser extension. A fresh death cross keeps the broader trend tilted toward sellers. Wallet access on its own does not create on-chain demand for XLM. The XLM price is holding at $0.1727 on Thursday, almost flat on the day, after MetaMask switched on Stellar as a default network across its mobile app and browser extension, a launch announced at the Stellar Development Foundation’s Meridian 2026 conference in Lisbon. The integration arrives while the token sits right at the top of a descending channel that has pushed it lower since late September, so the next few daily closes will show whether the news can attract the buying that October’s thin volume never delivered.
Stellar is now a default network on @MetaMask.
Eligible MetaMask accounts now include a Stellar address.
For the apps and assets built on Stellar, this is a new path to users worldwide, through a wallet they already use.

A long wick at the channel ceiling Since buyers failed near $0.237 at the end of September, XLM has carved out a clean falling channel on the daily chart. Price is now pressing against its upper line, which lines up almost exactly with the 0.786 Fibonacci retracement at $0.1735, measured from the late-May low of $0.1395 to the spike high of $0.2982. A daily close above the $0.173-$0.176 band would mark the first break of the October downtrend.
Thursday’s candle carries the most encouraging signal on the chart, as XLM slipped to $0.1669 during the session before buyers pushed it back above $0.172, leaving a long lower wick that shows demand appearing well before the next major support. With roughly eight hours left before the daily close at the time of writing, that candle is still unconfirmed.
XLM/USDT daily chart. Source: Alexander Stefanov / TradingView The RSI reads 38.5 after climbing off a low near 33 and crossing above its own average at 37.1, which tells us selling pressure has eased from levels close to oversold, although buyers have not taken over yet. Price also printed a marginally lower low while the RSI held higher, a mild divergence suggesting momentum is fading faster than price is falling. Volume has stayed light throughout October, at around 27 million XLM on Binance today, whereas the August reversal came with an obvious spike in trading activity.
Death cross builds a wall near $0.19 The larger structure still favors sellers. XLM trades below both the 50-day EMA at $0.1874 and the 200-day EMA at $0.1904, and the shorter average has just slipped under the longer one, a crossover traders call a death cross because it shows recent prices averaging weaker than the long-term trend. Both averages sit in the $0.186-$0.190 zone next to the 0.707 Fib at $0.1860, a level that flipped between support and resistance several times over the summer, which leaves any rebound facing a crowded ceiling there.

A daily close above roughly $0.176 would open a move toward $0.186, where the EMA cluster should reveal whether buyers are building a trend or only a relief bounce, and clearing $0.190 would put $0.200 back in play. A rejection at the channel top keeps the downtrend intact, with a break below $0.1669 likely sending XLM toward $0.1576, the level that held in August, while the lower channel line drifts toward about $0.150 into early November.
One seed phrase now unlocks Stellar Existing MetaMask users now get a Stellar address derived from the same recovery phrase they already use, so no new wallet or manual network setup is needed. They can send and receive XLM, Stellar trustline assets and Soroban tokens (Soroban is Stellar’s smart contract platform), and run cross-chain swaps between Stellar and other networks. MetaMask describes itself as the first major self-custodial wallet to ship Stellar as a default network.
The reach is what makes the deal relevant. MetaMask, which became a standalone company in Consensys’s restructuring last month, says the wallet has passed 100 million cumulative downloads across about 190 countries, a figure that measures installs over its lifetime and says nothing about how many people are active today.
The 1 XLM entry fee behind every account A Stellar address generated inside MetaMask has no on-chain presence until it receives at least 1 XLM, according to MetaMask’s support documentation. Every non-XLM asset also needs a trustline, a setting through which an account agrees to hold a specific token such as a stablecoin, and each one locks another 0.5 XLM in reserve. Transaction fees are paid in XLM as well, though they are so small that they barely register as demand.
As a rough illustration, one million newly funded accounts holding two trustlines each would lock about two million XLM, roughly $345,000 at today’s price, against a market capitalization of $6.05 billion. Reserve demand grows with real usage, which means the integration matters for XLM only if MetaMask users start moving money on Stellar.
The payment case behind the partnership rests on figures from the Stellar Development Foundation, which MetaMask cited: the network processed $55.6 billion in payment volume in 2025, up 52% year over year, with settlement in about five seconds. MetaMask also pointed to World Bank data putting the average cost of sending $200 abroad at 6.36%, more than double the United Nations’ 3% target. Gal Eldar, MetaMask’s Chief Product Officer, tied the launch to the company’s Open Money strategy, while Denelle Dixon, CEO of the Stellar Development Foundation, stressed putting Stellar’s payment rails inside wallets people already use. Neither side gave a target for users or volume.
Stellar’s institutional run-up to MetaMask
● Stablecoins ● Funds ● Settlement ● Wallet
● Sep 2 USDT0 goes live on Stellar ● Sep 22 BVNK extends stablecoin infrastructure to Stellar ● Sep 29 State Street Galaxy Onchain Liquidity Sweep Fund launches ● Oct 23 Institutional repo trade settled with USDM1 ● Oct 27 Janus Henderson and Centrifuge launch a Nasdaq-100 fund ● Oct 28 Securitize integration plans, Archax unveils €GOVY ● Oct 29 Stellar becomes a default network in MetaMask Funded accounts will judge the MetaMask effect None of the institutional launches above are part of the MetaMask deal, yet they give a retail wallet audience something to reach on Stellar beyond XLM itself. On the same day as the MetaMask rollout, Curve Finance launched its StableSwap stablecoin exchange on Stellar, its first native deployment outside Ethereum-compatible networks, which adds a place for newly bridged stablecoins to trade. The data worth following over the coming weeks is the growth in funded Stellar accounts, new trustlines for stablecoins such as USDT0 and USDC, and cross-chain swap volume flowing into the network. On the chart, a close above $0.176 backed by a visible volume increase would carry far more weight than a quiet breakout, which risks fading at the $0.186-$0.190 cluster.
The activation rule also shapes how new users arrive, since a fresh MetaMask Stellar account can receive only XLM until it is funded. That routes first contact through XLM, whether via the in-wallet buy option (not offered in every country), a swap or an exchange withdrawal. MetaMask’s documentation warns that bridging a non-XLM token into an account without the matching trustline can result in lost funds, so the wallet now prompts users to activate the trustline first. Users who already hold Stellar wallets elsewhere can also import those recovery phrases into MetaMask, which could move existing XLM balances into the app rather than only

TL;DR: Tokenization platform Securitize announced plans on October 28 to integrate the Stellar network into the infrastructure it offers institutional asset managers. For market participants following XLM, the news provides an institutional adoption narrative but no automatic revenue calculation for the network’s native asset.
Tokenization platform Securitize announced plans on October 28 to integrate the Stellar network into the infrastructure it offers institutional asset managers. The company says the connection will support future issuance and management of tokenized financial assets, extending choices for clients bringing traditional products onto blockchains. The announcement was made during Meridian 2026 in Lisbon. It describes an intended integration, not the immediate launch of a named new fund, and the firms have said further asset-level details will be released later.
The event and the market response Securitize operates in a part of the market where the token is only one layer of the product. Issuers must also organize investor eligibility, ownership records, subscriptions, redemptions and ongoing regulatory obligations. Stellar offers asset issuance and transfer functionality along with features that can support regulated controls. Its existing ecosystem includes financial-asset initiatives and cross-border payment providers. The proposed combination is designed to give managers more flexibility in choosing networks that match a particular distribution and operating model.
Why the development matters to the crypto market For market participants following XLM, the news provides an institutional adoption narrative but no automatic revenue calculation for the network’s native asset. A manager may choose Stellar because of operational attributes while end investors hold tokenized securities rather than buying XLM for exposure. What would strengthen the story is a named live issuance, measurable assets, and secondary workflows that show the integration is being used. The announcement highlights growing competition for institutional tokenization activity across public and controlled networks.
An institutional buyer will evaluate the cost of connecting a new rail to its existing systems before celebrating the technology. That includes identity checks, transaction reporting, asset servicing, reconciliation and recovery procedures when something goes wrong. A smaller but repeatable workflow can be commercially more valuable than an enormous theoretical market size. In this case, progress should be measured against the promised operational improvement and the conditions attached to it. Without usage figures, no one can reliably turn a partnership or infrastructure milestone into a forecast of investment returns.
Tokenized finance is often described as a single market, but it covers quite different instruments: cash-like balances, securities, private credit and other claims. Each has different settlement and counterparty risks. Institutional adoption becomes meaningful when service providers can explain who owes what, how a holder exits a position and what happens during a dispute. The detail matters as much as speed. A sound launch can be the beginning of a larger change, although the step from successful integration to widespread, economically useful activity is rarely automatic.
What the headline does not establish It is important not to equate a new blockchain option with unrestricted secondary-market trading. Tokenized shares in regulated funds may remain available only to approved investors, with transfers and settlement subject to rules. Fees, custody choices, liquidity and interoperability will matter as much as the chain itself. Securitize did not announce a launch date for any specific Stellar-issued product in this release. The milestone is the planned expansion of institutional infrastructure rather than a complete account of the products that will eventually use it.
What to watch next The firms have not named the first Stellar-based product. That announcement, together with an operational timetable and evidence of real subscriptions or redemptions, is the logical next checkpoint for this story.

The Stellar Development Foundation's Q3 2026 report shows record developer counts alongside sharp gains in stablecoin and tokenized asset activity
Stellar now has the second-largest developer base of any blockchain ecosystem. Only Ethereum ranks higher.
A post on X said the network rose from ninth to second place in active developers, with 4,000 developers building on it.
The detailed numbers come from the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF), which published its Q3 2026 report on October 19, 2026. As of September 30, 2026, Stellar counted 3,922 monthly active developers, a record for the network.
The developer numbers, unpacked
SDF said the 3,922 figure is up 125% year-over-year. That put Stellar behind Ethereum and ahead of everyone else.
A single end-of-quarter number can be noisy. So the foundation also reported a quarterly average of 3,661 developers, up 170% from a year earlier.
Full-time developers averaged 475, also a record. That is a 30% increase year-over-year.
Total monthly actives more than doubled while full-time headcount grew by about a third.
For comparison, SDF reported 2,968 monthly active developers at the end of Q2 2026. Stellar already held the number two spot then, ahead of Solana and Bitcoin.
The money moving on the network
Total network volume reached $33.2 billion in Q3 2026, up 71% quarter-over-quarter. Most of that growth came from stablecoins.
Stablecoin transfer volume hit $25.1 billion. That is up 121% from the prior quarter and 314% from a year earlier.
One number deserves attention. Stellar’s stablecoin market cap was $496 million, far smaller than the $25.1 billion in quarterly transfer volume.
Tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) also grew quickly. These are traditional financial instruments, such as funds or bonds, represented as tokens on a blockchain. Stellar’s RWA total reached $4.1 billion, up 36% quarter-over-quarter and 548% year-over-year.
Infrastructure and upgrades
SDF reported 99.99% uptime across 12 years of operation.
The network also added three new Tier 1 validators during the quarter, bringing the total to 10. MoneyGram was among the new additions.
Two protocol upgrades, named Zipper and Adapter, were deployed during Q3.
How Stellar got here
Stellar has existed for more than a decade and spent most of that time known as a payments network.
The timing also stands out. SDF released the report shortly before Meridian 2026, its annual ecosystem conference, scheduled for October 28-29 in Lisbon.
What this means
The gap between monthly actives and full-time developers is a key thing to watch. If the 475 full-time figure keeps growing alongside total activity, many of the new arrivals are staying.
