NEW YORK, Oct. 26, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Critical Metals Corp. (Nasdaq: CRML) (“Critical Metals Corp” or the “Company”), a leading critical minerals exploration and mining company, today announced that the Supreme Court of Western Australia (the “Court”) has approved the Company’s proposed acquisition of European Lithium Limited (ASX: EUR, FRA: PF8, OTC: EULIF) (“European Lithium”).

Under the proposed transaction, Critical Metals Corp would acquire 100% of the issued share capital of European Lithium and all of European Lithium’s listed options by way of Court-approved schemes of arrangement under Part 5.1 of the Australian Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), comprising a scheme between European Lithium and its shareholders (the “Share Scheme”) and a scheme between European Lithium and the holders of its listed options (ASX: EUROC) (the “Option Scheme”, and together with the Share Scheme, the “Schemes”). The consideration payable under each Scheme is to be satisfied by the issue of new ordinary shares in Critical Metals Corp.

Court Approval

European Lithium has announced that on October 26, 2026, the Court made orders approving the Schemes. The approval follows the vote by European Lithium shareholders and option holders in favor of the Schemes on October 22, 2026.

Critical Metals Corp intends to rely on the Court’s approval of the Schemes to qualify for the exemption from registration under section 3(a)(10) of the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended, in connection with the issue of new Critical Metals Corp shares under the Schemes.

Effective Date and Implementation

The Schemes will become legally effective once an office copy of the Court orders is lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, which European Lithium expects to do on October 27, 2026. Trading in European Lithium shares and options on the ASX is expected to be suspended from the close of trading that day.

The remaining key dates are expected to be:

Syntec Optics (Nasdaq: OPTX) Doubles Production for Commercial Satellite Laser Optics to Meet Surging Space Demand
OPTX Syntec Optics Holdings
FMP Stock News
Original source text
ROCHESTER, NEW YORK, Oct. 26, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Syntec Optics (Nasdaq: OPTX), a leading producer of mission-critical space optics, today announced nearly a 2x year-over-year increase in commercial satellite laser optics production volume shipping in 2026 over 2025.

Satellite communication is accelerating rapidly. This growth is driven by record demand for airplane Wi-Fi, cruise ship video calls, and new U.S. regulatory approvals announced this month that open up massive opportunities to connect standard mobile phones directly to satellites.

"Following this milestone, we have arranged to ship not only our scheduled order quantities but also our on-hand reserve product in inventory," said Matt Carey, VP of Business Development. "Scaling production to get ahead and keep some in reserve requires unprecedented systemization of our precision craft that involves producing amazing optics accurate to 1/3,000th the thickness of a human hair. To put our tolerances in perspective, even body heat walking past a work center can distort dimensions and ruin them. These optics must capture signals the size of a baseball from hundreds of miles away while orbiting Earth at 17,000 mph."

With near-ubiquitous global coverage on the horizon, Syntec Optics remains positioned at the cutting edge of precision-engineered products, ready to scale alongside the world's leading low Earth orbit constellations.

Dean Rudy, CFO, added, "Our industrial engineering efforts are paying off. With increased volume, we are also containing costs and increasing efficiencies. As announced last quarter, our adjusted EBITDA has expanded to double digits, allowing us to fund announced organic growth through operating cash flows. We maintain significant open capacity, with our existing facility capable of supporting top-line growth without requiring new infrastructure. Consequently, the $14 million in cash reported on our balance sheet last quarter remains unused."

Syntec has continued to announce various other Space product lines this fall for collision-avoidance, reconnaissance for defense-dedicated satellites, and Artemis III rocket actuators. Our products last eight years or more, creating a large backlog of over $200 million in space as we tap into widely available capacity in our existing facility.

Macro-analyses at McKinsey and the World Economic Forum estimate a steeper growth of the space economy reaching $1.8 trillion by 2035 as non-traditional industries (defense, agriculture, logistics, and retail) increasingly integrate space-enabled data.

About Syntec Optics

Headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., Syntec Optics Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPTX) is one of the nation’s largest bespoke manufacturers of high-precision optics and photonics. With a dedicated team of nearly 180 employees, the company pushes the limits of light-based technologies to connect and protect the world. Syntec supports critical missions ranging from low-Earth-orbit satellites to advanced connected-battlefield defense platforms, AI data centers, and life sciences. As light-enabled technologies continue to account for a significant portion of global economic output—representing nearly $20 trillion of the $111 trillion in total worldwide production as of 2024—Syntec Optics remains positioned at the forefront of the modern optical revolution.

SpaceX Kicks Off Yet Another Potential Fleecing of Retail Investors Today, Oct. 26
SPCX SpaceX
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Elon Musk's Space Exploration Technologies (SPCX +1.89%), better known as SpaceX, has spent 2026 rewriting Wall Street's record books. Its June 12 initial public offering (IPO) raised $85.7 billion, including the underwriters' overallotment, and valued SpaceX at $1.77 trillion. Both are never-before-seen figures.

But SpaceX's history-making moments aren't always beneficial to its investors. While early investors have made a fortune, retail investors may pay the price for this success.

Space Exploration Technologies' debut as a public company has hardly been conventional. In addition to pricing its shares several days before its June 12 debut, the company's prospectus outlined a staggered and accelerated share lockup period for early-release-eligible insiders.

Typically, companies going public prevent their insiders (high-ranking executives, board members, and early investors) from selling shares for 180 calendar days after the IPO. This ensures that insiders don't take advantage of retail investor euphoria early on.

However, SpaceX is allowing some of its insiders to sell their shares at several earnings- and time-based events through mid-December. CEO Musk, who's SpaceX's largest shareholder, is not among these early-release-eligible insiders.

Great look at the SpaceX shares unlock schedule as well as the potential passive buying schedule from @JSeyff @FrancisSharoon Depending on the early post-IPO returns, this could really play with and disperse the returns of "passive" funds (which is why there's arguably no such thing as passive). $SPCX

— Eric Balchunas (@EricBalchunas) May 28, 2026
Two business days after each of SpaceX's quarterly earnings reports, up to 911.5 million shares became eligible for sale. With the company unveiling its third-quarter operating results on Oct. 20, roughly 911.5 million shares became newly eligible for sale on Oct. 22.

Several time-based events also allow insiders to sell approximately 319 million shares each time. These events occur on calendar days 70, 90, 105, 120, 135, and 180. Given that calendar day 135 landed on a weekend (Oct. 24), today, Oct. 26, marks the release of another 319 million shares for sale by early-release-eligible insiders.

We're witnessing a dubious wealth transfer in real timeBut this ongoing and accelerated share lockup period for select insiders isn't the only dubious history being made by Musk's company.

When Space Exploration Technologies went public, it sold roughly 555.6 million shares. While this might sound like a lot, it represents less than 5% of SpaceX's outstanding shares (OS). Usually, private companies going public sell anywhere from 10% to 25% of their OS.

SpaceX selling such a small percentage of its OS created a favorable environment for its stock in the weeks after its IPO. Gaining fast-track entry into the Nasdaq-100, Russell 1000, and Russell 3000 meant that passive funds scooped up a significant portion of the company's float (tradable shares). This artificially low float initially buoyed SpaceX's stock.

SPCX Space Exploration Technologies$147.49+$2.74 (+1.89%)

NASDAQ · As of 4:00 PM ET 10/23/26

However, with each earnings- and time-based insider share-unlock event, SpaceX's float is rapidly rising. Although this doesn't guarantee that insiders are cashing out, keep in mind that the overwhelming majority of these early investors haven't had any avenues to cash in their chips for years, if not a decade.

What we're effectively witnessing with each successive share-unlock event is the greatest wealth transfer in Wall Street's storied history, from retail investors to SpaceX's early-release-eligible insiders. Given the laundry list of unknowns surrounding SpaceX, including the sustainability of its operating model amid its enormous cash needs, it wouldn't be surprising to see insiders ramp up their selling and weigh on the company's stock.

Meta Is Creating a New Class of Stock. What Shareholders Need to Know
FB Meta Platforms
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Meta just unveiled a new class of stock that lets Zuckerberg raise capital without giving up a single vote, and it arrived alongside a quarter that sent shares tumbling on a billion-dollar surprise. What this means for outside shareholders is…

Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META | META Price Prediction) is restructuring its capital structure. Along with third-quarter results, Meta announced a new non-voting Class C common stock, effective January 2027. Shares trade at $662.49, down 5.02% today.

The 24/7 Wall St. price target for Meta sits at $822.91 over the next 12 months, implying 24.2% upside. The stock earns a buy rating with high confidence from the model.

Metric Value Current Price $662.49 Price Target from 24/7 Wall St. $822.91 Upside 24.2% Recommendation BUY Confidence Level 90% CFO Susan Li said the shares are meant to be “usable for capital raising, employee compensation, acquisitions, other general corporate purposes while preserving the voting power of existing Class A and B shareholders.”

She added that Meta has “no specific financing plans to announce at this time.” Coverage described the move as a way to keep Zuckerberg in control and in California. For outside holders, the practical question is future dilution, since Meta now has a currency to fund AI spending without reducing founder control.

A $9.9 Billion Charge and Negative Free Cash Flow Hit Shares Meta is down 10.18% over the past week and 10.62% over the past month, leaving it up just 0.61% year to date. Shares sit 15% below the 52-week high of $779.82 and 27.6% above the low of $519.37.

Q3 revenue rose 26.07% to $64.60 billion, beating the $63.39 billion consensus. GAAP EPS of $3.83 missed expectations of $5.70 because of a $9.89 billion teen mental health settlement charge. Excluding it, EPS would have been $7.40. Capex of $34.91 billion pushed free cash flow to -$2.12 billion, and the negative free cash flow drove today’s selloff.

Why Bulls See $857 and Beyond Advertising remains a cash machine. Ad pricing rose 14% and impressions climbed 10% across 3.64 billion daily active people. Q4 revenue guidance of $73 billion to $76 billion signals acceleration.

Zuckerberg expects to improve Muse’s compute efficiency “by more than 10x in the next year,” and new AI businesses could start adding revenue in 2027. The bull case hits $857.79, or 29.5% upside.

Dilution and Cash Burn Are the Risks Worth Watching Operating margin fell to 20% from 40%, and total youth litigation exposure stands at $18.59 billion with more trials ahead. Debt has hits $83.7 billion. Class C issuance could reducing holders who have no vote.

Still, the margin drop mostly reflects a one-time charge, and cash and marketable securities of $82.4 billion give Meta room to operate. The bear case of $716.27 still sits above today’s price.

How Meta Compares to Alphabet and Snap As the closest AI and advertising competition, Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) already uses non-voting Class C shares. It set up an at-the-market program for up to $40 billion in Class A and Class C stock, which is a template for how Meta could use its new class. Alphabet’s lower P/E is inflated by a $99.03 billion equity gain, while its higher P/FCF multiple makes Meta’s look reasonable.

Snap (NYSE:SNAP) gives public investors only non-voting Class A shares and faces the same youth-safety litigation. It remains unprofitable, so Meta’s earnings power justifies a premium.

Company Trailing P/E P/FCF Latest Revenue Growth Meta 25x 33x 26.07% Alphabet 15x 57x 24.23% Snap Negative 21x 18.89% Meta has the fastest growth of the three and sits in the middle on cash-flow valuation, so our target looks reasonable relative to peers.

Meta Price Prediction 2026-2030 The 24/7 Wall St. price target of $822.91 carries a buy rating at 90% confidence. What tips the scale is 26.07% revenue growth behind a one-time legal charge.

The rating gets stronger if Q4 lands within guidance and Muse costs fall. It weakens if Meta issues large blocks of Class C stock before its AI revenue grows.

Year Price Target from 24/7 Wall St. 2026 $822.91 2027 $898.71 2028 $981.49 2029 $1,071.90 2030 $1,170.64 The projections rest on Meta continuing to carry out its current strategy. Largest Class C dilution or more litigation losses could pull results lower, and faster AI monetization could push them higher.

Much of that monetization depends on the picks-and-shovels suppliers driving the data-center expansion, which we profiled in a free report on seven AI infrastructure stocks that aren’t chipmakers.

Meta announces $95 billion stock offering to fund AI expansion
FB Meta Platforms
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Meta said Monday it is planning to raise a total of $95 billion to support its investments in AI infrastructure and superintelligence.

The stock was up 1.6% in premarket trading after the announcement. Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom were interested in purchasing up to $5 billion in shares, Meta said in a statement.

The tech giant will initially raise $35 billion in underwritten public equity offerings, before raising an additional $60 billion with an at-the-market program.

The news comes as hyperscalers pour record sums into the AI infrastructure buildout. Goldman Sachs estimates that AI-related capital spending could total about $7.6 trillion from 2026 through 2031, across compute, data centers and power.

Meta's planned investments will support "emerging AI opportunities" including its family of apps, its AI agent Muse and its data center business, the company said Monday.

It plans to balance funding for these investments through a mix of operating cash flow, investment-grade debt, partnerships and equity capital.

Meta racing to secure AI infrastructureMeta is among the major hyperscalers that are increasingly tapping debt to fund the expensive infrastructure required for the AI boom.

Last week, Meta posted third-quarter results showing revenue jumped 26% year-on-year: $64.60 billion versus the $63.37 billion analysts expected. However, investors focused more on the tech company's negative free cash flow and its higher full-year capital expenditure forecast.

It now expects its full-year capex to range from $135 billion to $145 billion, raising the bottom of the range from $130 billion. That sent shares lower on the day.

Meta is building four "superclusters" with more than one gigawatt of capacity each and is on track to nearly double total infrastructure capacity in 2026 on a year-over-year basis, the company said.

The decision to raise more money "reflects the eye-watering levels of investment required to keep up in the AI arms race," Ben Wood, senior partner at CCS Insight, told CNBC.

"Meta offering more stock comes at a time when numerous companies, such as Google, SpaceX and soon, Anthropic, are going to the markets to raise funds."

Alphabet, Google's parent company, said it would look to raise $85 billion in June. SpaceX has closed a $40 billion debt financing to purchase graphics processing units. Anthropic is preparing for an IPO.

TikTok U.S. is looking to secure multiple gigawatts of computing capacity over the coming years, CNBC reported on Friday.

Meta is tapping investors for up to $95 billion to fund its huge AI build-out.

The tech giant said in a Monday filing that it has launched about $35 billion in equity offerings, comprising around $22.5 billion of Class A common stock, and $12.5 billion in depositary shares representing preferred stock.

The parent company of Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram also said it was planning a $60 billion at-the-market offering once its Class C shares begin trading in the first quarter of 2027.

In an at-the-market offering, a company sells shares gradually into the market at the prevailing market price, instead of as a large block at a fixed price.

Meta said last week that it would introduce the new share class to help founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg access the liquidity he may need to pay California's proposed wealth tax without having to sell existing shares and erode his voting control over the company.

"AI is creating significant opportunities for Meta across its core business and new products and services," the company said in a press release.

"Meta is investing to expand the infrastructure and compute capacity needed to support these opportunities and to bring personal superintelligence to billions of people and businesses," it added.

Nvidia, AMD, and Broadcom have each expressed an interest in buying up to $5 billion of the common stock being offered, but those indications aren't binding, so they might buy more or less, Meta said.

Meta stock swung during Monday's premarket from 2% in the green to 0.4% in the red.

Meta is spending heavily on AI infrastructure as it develops consumer AI products and pursues Mark Zuckerberg’s goal of "personal superintelligence."

The company said it expects to incur $135 billion to $145 billion of capital expenditures this year. It highlighted $97 billion of operating cash flow for the first nine months of this year, and the roughly $82 billion of cash and other liquid assets it held at the end of September.

Meta's revenue jumped by 26% to around $65 billion last quarter, but its operating income shrank by 37% to $13 billion as costs surged from about $31 billion to $52 billion.

1 Unstoppable Stock-Split Stock to Buy Before It Joins Nvidia, Alphabet, Microsoft, and Apple in the $3 Trillion Club
FB Meta Platforms
FMP Stock News
Original source text
A high-quality company will typically create tremendous long-term value, sending its stock price soaring into the hundreds or even thousands of dollars. As a result, investors with small portfolios could find themselves priced out of owning one full share, which is why the company might decide to execute a stock split.

Stock splits work by increasing the number of shares in circulation, which reduces the price per share by a proportionate amount. The adjustment is entirely cosmetic, so it doesn't change the value of the underlying company. Facebook parent Meta Platforms (META -0.96%) just announced it will execute the equivalent of a 2-for-1 split by introducing a new class of shares.

Investors who currently own a single Meta Class A share worth $650 will end up with two shares after the record date: one Class A share with voting rights, and one Class C share with no voting rights, presumably worth $325 each. The prices I've described are merely hypothetical, because we don't know where Meta will be trading when the split eventually happens in January 2027.

In any case, Meta is likely to continue creating substantial value for investors over the long term. The company has a market capitalization of $1.65 trillion as I write this (Oct. 23), but here's why I think it could cross the $3 trillion milestone within the next few years, joining an exclusive club that currently only includes Nvidia, Alphabet, Microsoft, and Apple.

Artificial intelligence is transforming Meta's social media apps
Meta's portfolio of social media apps includes Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Threads. During the third quarter of 2026 (ended Sept. 30), a record 3.64 billion people used at least one of them every single day. That number represents almost half of the world's population, so it's getting harder for the company to find new users, especially sincee its apps are banned in populous countries like China.

As a result, Meta is focusing on engagement instead. If each existing user spends more time online, they will see more ads and generate more revenue for the company. Artificial intelligence (AI) plays a central role in this strategy by powering Meta's recommendation algorithms. It learns what type of content users like to see and shows them more of it to keep them locked in. It's working, because chief executive Mark Zuckerberg said engagement hit new record highs on Facebook and Instagram during the third quarter.

But Meta's AI strategy is evolving beyond social media entirely. The company launched a personal AI agent called Muse in September, and it has already attracted more than 10 million users. Zuckerberg says more than one-quarter of them are using it as a personal shopper, with an average purchase size of $200. Managing emails and calendars are other common use cases so far.

Zuckerberg wants Muse to eventually serve billions of people, who he hopes will use it to improve every facet of their lives -- whether they want relationship advice or want help building a business. This will significantly expand Meta's addressable market by creating an opportunity to divert internet traffic from entrenched platforms like Google Search.

Meta is growing rapidly, but AI spending is becoming a headwind
Meta generated $64.6 billion in total revenue during the third quarter, a 26% increase from the year-ago period. It was a strong result, but the company's bottom line is drawing more attention right now.

Meta spent $72 billion on building AI data centers in 2025, and it's on track to spend up to $145 billion this year. Capital expenditures can't be deducted up front because data centers have a useful life of several years, so the company has to depreciate the infrastructure over time. That means the money it spends today will affect its earnings in 2027, 2028, 2029, and beyond.

The impacts are already showing up, because Meta's third-quarter expenses soared by 68% year over year to $51.6 billion. That included a $9.9 billion charge from a legal settlement, but most of the growth was driven by AI infrastructure costs, including depreciation, cloud spending, and data center operations.

Meta still delivered a generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) profit of $9.8 billion during the quarter, more than tripling from the year-ago period -- but only because the company took a one-time tax hit of $15.9 billion in the third quarter of 2025. Without that, Meta's recent Q3 result would have represented a year-over-year decline of 47%.

Meta's mathematical path to the $3 trillion club
Based on Meta's trailing 12-month GAAP earnings of $29.33 per share, its stock is trading at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of just 22.1. The Nasdaq-100 index has a P/E ratio of 30.2, so Meta looks heavily undervalued compared to a basket of its big-tech peers.

Moreover, Wall Street's average forecast (provided by Yahoo Finance) suggests Meta's earnings could grow modestly to $33.82 per share in 2027, placing its stock at a forward P/E ratio of 18.7.

META PE Ratio data by YCharts

That suggests Meta stock would have to soar by 61% over the next 12 months or so just to match the P/E of the Nasdaq-100, which is possible given its P/E was over 30 for a significant part of the last decade. That alone would see Meta's market cap rise to $2.66 trillion, so even modest revenue growth of 13.5% in 2028 would be enough to justify a $3 trillion valuation.

There is no guarantee Meta's P/E will rise to 30.2, but I think it could get there if it shows a phenomenal return on investment on its AI infrastructure spending through the continued success of products like Muse. Alternatively, pulling back on capital expenditures would significantly prop up its earnings, and this is a strategy Zuckerberg used in 2022 when the company's virtual reality spending was getting out of hand.

Nevertheless, even if Meta doesn't join the $3 trillion club by 2028, I think it's likely to get there in the long run.

Wall Street sets Tesla stock price target for next 12 months
TSLA Tesla
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Barclays analyst Dan Levy was the latest institutional expert to revise his position toward Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) stock following its impressive third-quarter (Q3) earnings.

Indeed, on Monday, October 26, he replaced his previous ‘Equal Weight’ – ‘Hold’ – rating with ‘Overweight’ – ‘Buy’ – and increased his 12-month price target for TSLA shares from $370 – effectively a 0.60% drop from the latest close at $372.22 – to $450 – a 20.90% upside.

According to the Wall Street expert’s note, the change was motivated by the assessment that the potential merger between SpaceX (NASDAQ: SPCX) and Tesla could bring a premium to the car maker’s equity, but also by various business and technological developments.

Levy cited a ‘sharp inflection in Robotaxi miles driven,’ rising adoption of FSD – the company’s self-driving technology – strong energy growth, and improvements in demand as additional bullish factors.

Analysts revise Tesla (TSLA) stock price for the next 12 months Meanwhile, Barclays’ optimistic reassessment of Tesla stock was largely in line with the rating revisions the electric vehicle (EV) maker saw following the earnings though, notably, the wider outlook for TSLA remains mixed.

Overall, Wall Street views Elon Musk’s older public company as a ‘Moderate Buy’ with fourteen positive, eleven ‘Hold’, and two ‘Sell’ recommendations, per the data Finbold retrieved from TipRanks on October 26.

The average price target for Tesla stock for the next 12 months is, however, somewhat more optimistic and stands at $414.25 – 11.29% above the latest close.

Wall Street sets Tesla stock price target for the next 12 months. Source: TipRanks Additionally, the most recent ratings and forecasts came in as almost universally bullish with new share price estimates generally standing above $400.

This trend is also visible with the analysts who still view TSLA shares as a ‘Hold’, with, for example, JPMorgan’s (NYSE: JPM) Rajat Gupta raising the estimate from $415 to $430 on October 22, and both Jefferies and CLSA opting for exactly $400 on the same day.

Tesla stock price performance Finally, despite volatility moving the equity in both directions, the recent movements ensured that Tesla stock was, at its latest close at $372.22, 4.13% in the green on the 30-day chart and 4.93% above the October 16 lows.

SummaryTesla, Inc.'s growing EV backlog amid elevated fuel prices and expanding, high-margin FSD adoption underscore TSLA's near-term thesis. As the CEO feeds the Tesla - SpaceX merger exuberance, the two entities' estimated 2026 Price/Sales of 22.19x is expensive compared to NVDA (12.37x), AAPL (10.63x), and AMZN (3.23x).Regulatory/execution merger risks loom large, with a spin-off of TSLA's Chinese operations and a premium buyout price in cash/stock being likely outcomes. To deliver the "stratospheric growth," more capital and capex/cash flow pains may be necessary before the realization of the nascent robotaxi, robotics, and foundry opportunities.TSLA remains a Sell, with a prolonged/failed merger likely to trigger downside risks amid a pessimistic stock market environment. Forget the Short-Term Noise: Where Could Tesla Be in 2030?
TSLA Tesla
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Tesla is down big this year, burning through billions in R&D, and facing a Wall Street consensus that barely sees any upside. Yet one bold target suggests the stock could nearly double by 2030, and the case for it rests…

Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA | TSLA Price Prediction | TSLA Price Prediction) delivered 486,532 vehicles last quarter. It also reached 1.74M active FSD subscriptions and started unsupervised Cybercab rides in Austin. Still, the stock is down 16.71% this year and closed at $374.58.

On the Q3 call, Elon Musk said, “I think we’re now headed for a lot of fun and significant growth.” My question is whether Tesla can reach $700 by 2030.

What’s Holding Tesla Back Right Now Spending is the problem. Q3 operating income dropped 55.79% year over year to $718 million, while R&D rose to $2.76B from $1.63B. Revenue was flat, with a change of -0.17%.

The WSJ summed up the quarter as profit falling because batteries are limiting growth (WSJ). Management also raised its capex guidance for the year to roughly $20 billion.

The stock lost 3.08% on October 22 and is down 1.14% over the past month, even after a 3.35% gain over the past week. With a beta of 1.916, these moves are normal for Tesla.

Wall Street Sees 6.2% Upside. I Think That Is Too Timid The consensus target of $397.83 points to only 6.2% upside. Of analyst ratings, 4 are Strong Buys, 15 are Buys, 21 are Holds, 2 are Sells and 2 are Strong Sells.

Our model projects $404.84, offering 8.1% upside. Its one-year range runs from $363.68 to $466.97, and the model has high confidence in it.

Only 43% of analysts are bullish, and the earnings growth factor subtracts 0.003. That undercounts Tesla. Earnings are lower because management chose to spend on R&D. Car demand did not fall off.

Here’s What It Takes for Tesla to Reach $700 Moving from $374.58 to $700 means a jump of 86.9%. With forward EPS of $2.0882, a $700 share price works out to a forward P/E of 335x. The base case already implies 225x, so the target needs about 111x more multiple expansion.

Earnings growth would do most of that work. Consensus growth is 18.23%. At that rate, EPS would reach about $4.08 in four years. That would put $700 at roughly 172x, which is below today’s multiple. An adjustment factor of 1.052 is also already positive in the model.

Here are the catalysts I see:

Megapacks are “almost sold out” for 2027, and energy gross margin rose to 33.1%. More than 75% of North American Q3 deliveries included a paid FSD sign-up. Vaibhav Taneja said FSD “probably at least doubles the profit per car” over its lifetime. Tesla and SpaceX are in merger talks, and Morningstar highlighted valuation as a key issue (Morningstar). The main risk is cost: Musk said TeraFab alone could need capital “north of 100 billion”.

Where Tesla Trades Today vs Its Earnings Power At 179x forward earnings, Tesla is expensive. The stock trades in a 52-week range from a high of $498.83 to a low of $297.38.

Over 10 years, the stock has returned 2,671.11%. That record helps explain why investors pay a premium for Tesla’s future earnings.

$700 Is a Stretch, But Here’s Why It’s Possible Reaching $700 means a 86.9% gain. The model’s highest 2030 bull case is $584.92, so I see $700 as a stretch.

Three things would have to go right. Robotaxi would need to become significantly profitable in 2027, energy margins would have to keep rising, and Optimus would need to start customer deliveries on schedule.

If battery shortages and spending keep pressuring profits, the target falls apart. Returns at this level shouldn’t be expected every year, but we’ve outlined the plan for how Tesla could reach $700 in 2030.

Tesla turns to Turo to boost adoption of Full Self-Driving (Supervised)
TSLA Tesla
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Car rental giant Turo will start advertising which Teslas on its marketplace are outfitted with the automaker’s advanced driver assistance system, Full Self-Driving (Supervised) — or FSD, a collaboration that could boost further adoption of the driving software.

Eligible Turo “hosts” who rent out their cars on the platform will also receive a free one-month trial of FSD. Turo said it is working with Tesla to directly access the automaker’s API to verify which cars have FSD enabled.

The announcement comes just a few days after Tesla offered updated figures that show the carmaker is finally getting more customers to pay for the software, which can handle most driving tasks but still requires human supervision.

Last week, Tesla revealed that around 1.7 million customers have paid for FSD globally, out of more than 10 million cars built and sold to date. The company said more than 75% of customers who took delivery of a car in North America during the third-quarter paid for an FSD subscription. That was a roughly 20% increase from the second quarter, though the company’s U.S. sales have been in decline.

Tesla has spent much of the last year re-working some of its showrooms to focus more on FSD as a selling point. In a post last week, the company’s chief executive Elon Musk said the effort is working.

“People are buying FSD with a car attached, not the other way around,” wrote Musk.

“Customers are now coming in and saying: ‘Can we get into an FSD drive?’ They’re not asking for [Model] 3, [Model] Y, or Cybertruck,” Tesla’s finance chief Vaibhav Taneja said on last week’s earnings call.

For Turo, the addition of FSD rentals gives the company a chance to boost what are already some of its most heavily-rented vehicles. Turo said Tesla’s Model 3 and Model Y are the third and fourth-most popular vehicles on its platform this year. “[T]his integration further increases host earning opportunities as interest in self-driving technology grows,” said Turo.

“This industry-first integration with Tesla is another example of how Turo is redefining what car rental and access can look like,” Turo chief executive Andre Haddad said in a statement. “Most travelers have had limited opportunity to experience driver’s assistance technology, but the demand is clear. Our own research shows that 55% of Americans are interested in driverless technology for travel, growing to 71% for Gen Z. Turo’s marketplace model is uniquely positioned to close the gap between consumer curiosity and hands-on access.”

Customers who rent an FSD-enabled Tesla through Turo will be served cautionary language that requires drivers to monitor the software, and be ready to take over at any moment. Drivers will also have the option to view a Tesla-created tutorial.

“When enabled, your vehicle will drive you almost anywhere with your active supervision, requiring minimal intervention,” a screenshot of the Turo app reads.

The listings themselves, meanwhile, allow owners to promote their cars as “Self-Driving,” according to another screenshot provided by Turo.

Nicotine vs. Sugar: Two Distinct Paths to Defensive Cash-Flow Fortress Dominance
KO Coca-Cola
FMP Stock News

Coke and Philip Morris both beat expectations this quarter, but each is quietly betting against its own best product to survive the next decade. Which sacrifice looks smarter for your portfolio?

Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO | KO Price Prediction) and Philip Morris International (NYSE:PM) both beat expectations in their latest earnings reports. Both are old habits that are still changing. Coke sold more regular and zero-sugar soda during a World Cup summer. Philip Morris moved further into IQOS, ZYN and VEEV while cigarettes paid for the shift. Each generates strong cash flow through a different business model.

Coke Sold More Soda While Philip Morris Raised Cigarette Prices
Coke’s second-quarter unit case volume rose 5%. Trademark Coca-Cola had its strongest volume growth in 17 years, not counting the COVID rebound, so demand for the flagship drink remains strong. Coca-Cola Zero Sugar grew 16%, which makes it the main low-sugar growth driver. CEO Henrique Braun described the goal this way: “Our mission is simple, ensuring our brands are valued, relevant and worth choosing.”

At Philip Morris, third-quarter combustible pricing rose 8.9% even though cigarette shipments were flat. Marlboro can still raise prices without losing smokers. Smoke-free products now make up over 40% of net revenues. ZYN’s share of the pouch category rose 1.4 points from June to September, which shows ZYN gained ground against rivals.

Coke Spends on Affordability While Philip Morris Gives Up Margin for ZYN
Coke is putting money into keeping drinks affordable. Asia Pacific price/mix fell 9% while volume in the region grew 8%. Coke is giving up margin now to win future customers in India and China. Net leverage of 1.4x EBITDA is below Coke’s target range, so the balance sheet has room to spare.

Philip Morris is taking a bigger hit on purpose. ZYN cans are moving to 20 pouches at the old 15-pouch price, which works out to “approximately 25% less revenue per pouch.” Fourth-quarter U.S. operating income should come in “around zero or slightly negative.” That is a big short-term sacrifice. Even so, the company raised its dividend 8.8% to $1.60 a quarter.

Can ZYN Volume Make Up for Lower Pouch Prices?
I will be watching whether ZYN volume grows fast enough to cover the lower price per pouch. Management expects revenue to lag for “three quarters.” Rising excise taxes in Japan and Germany add more uncertainty. For Coke, you should keep an eye on the redesigned Coca-Cola Zero Zero aimed at evening occasions. The fourth quarter will also have six fewer days than last year, and Coke’s tax case against the IRS is still waiting on an appeals court ruling.

Why Coke Fits My Low-Stress Portfolio Better
I prefer Coke for stability. It has raised its dividend for 63 years in a row and guides to about $12.4B of free cash flow. My worry is valuation. Shares are up 35.2% this year at about 30 times earnings, so a lot of good news is already priced in.

Philip Morris pairs a strong income profile with higher regulatory risk. Its $6.40 annual payout is backed by Marlboro’s pricing power. If U.S. ZYN profits recover by mid-2027, I would like Philip Morris a lot more.

Microsoft Q1 Earnings Preview: What To Expect From Upcoming Report
MSFT Microsoft
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Microsoft MSFT is due to report its fiscal first-quarter 2027 results on Wednesday, with investors watching whether cloud growth can justify the company's expanding artificial intelligence infrastructure costs, according to the company's earnings schedule.

Wall Street expects revenue of about $90.6 billion to $90.7 billion for the quarter, within Microsoft's forecast of $89.85 billion to $90.95 billion. The company's outlook implies annual revenue growth of 16% to 17%. Analysts also expect adjusted earnings of $4.71 per share.

Azure is another key focus, with analysts projecting growth of 44% to 45% on a constant-currency basis. The estimate uses Microsoft's updated reporting definition for the cloud business, making the segment's performance important to assessing demand for its cloud and AI services.

Spending could remain a central concern. Microsoft is expected to invest more than $50 billion in capital expenditures during the quarter as it expands infrastructure to support AI workloads. The results, scheduled after the U.S. market closes, will be followed by a conference call at 5:30 p.m. Eastern time, where investors may look for further details on cloud demand and investment plans.

Microsoft's Diversified Backstop Keeps Me Buying
MSFT Microsoft
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Three separate revenue engines, a dividend that keeps climbing, and a capex bill that would sink most companies. Here is why one investor keeps adding to Microsoft every quarter anyway.

I keep adding to Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT | MSFT Price Prediction) every quarter, and each earnings report gives me another reason to buy again.

The argument is simple: Microsoft runs three businesses that each pay their own way, so a company that can absorb a stumble anywhere is the one paying for its AI buildout. Azure supplies the growth. Microsoft 365, LinkedIn and Dynamics supply the stability. Windows and Xbox round out the mix. When one engine sputters, the others keep pulling.

Three Segments Doing the Heavy Lifting Fiscal Q4 2026 showed that support at work. Intelligent Cloud revenue reached $39.31 billion, up 32%. Productivity and Business Processes added $37.85 billion, up 14%. More Personal Computing fell 4% to $12.85 billion, and total revenue still rose 17.8% to $90.01 billion. Azure also passed $100 billion in full-year revenue for the first time.

Visibility is what decides it for me. Commercial remaining performance obligations hit $678 billion, up 84%. Nearly 90% of full-year Microsoft Cloud revenue came from customers outside the frontier model companies, so a broad base of businesses stands behind that backlog.

Receipts I Keep Rereading The first is consistency. Microsoft has beaten both EPS and revenue estimates for six straight quarters, and EPS rose from $3.46 in Q3 FY25 to $4.74 in Q4 FY26.

The second is its financial health. Interest coverage stands at 50.88x and net debt to EBITDA at 0.56. Return on equity is 34.04%, with a 46.78% operating margin.

The third is income that keeps growing. The 0.68% yield starts small, and I own it for the raises. The quarterly dividend just stepped up to $0.98 from $0.91, and full-year cash returned to shareholders exceeded $43 billion. Valuation helps too. Shares trade at a P/E of about 29 and rose only 1.59% over the past year, while fiscal 2026 net income grew 31.3%.

Why My Money Skips Amazon, Alphabet and Oracle Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) grew AWS 37% in Q2 2026. It also pays no dividend, trades at a P/E near 34 and reported trailing-twelve-month free cash flow of -$7.6 billion.

Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) grew Google Cloud 82%, yet it posted Q2 free cash flow of -$5.86 billion, suspended its buyback and watched long-term debt rose from $46.5 billion to $98.2 billion.

Oracle (NYSE:ORCL) grew cloud infrastructure 121%, while software revenue fell 3% and free cash flow came in at -$5.4 billion. Microsoft pays for its expansion out of $182.94 billion in fiscal 2026 operating cash flow.

Risk That Could Actually Hurt Me Capex is the risk. Fiscal 2026 spending reached $115.95 billion, up 79.6%, and Q4 free cash flow fell 23.2%. If AI demand cools, that spending turns into a drag on returns.

My thesis lasts because roughly two-thirds of capex goes to short-lived CPUs and GPUs. CFO Amy Hood said on the earnings call: “If the demand environment changes, you just slow down what is, in fact, the largest component.” Management also expects to stay free-cash-flow positive next fiscal year.

What Keeps My Buy Button Active Microsoft 365 Copilot now has over 30 million paid seats, and Satya Nadella said earlier this year, “We are only at the beginning phases of AI diffusion.” As long as three engines keep funding one growth story, I keep buying, one quarter and one raise at a time.

BABA DCF Analysis: Intrinsic Value $70 vs Price $100
BABA Alibaba
FMP Stock News
Original source text
On October 26, 2026, we delve into the DCF analysis for Alibaba Group Holding Ltd BABA, a company that has seen significant price fluctuations recently. The stock has experienced a year-to-date decline of 31.4% and a staggering 41.5% drop over the past year, raising questions about its valuation amidst these challenges.

DCF Earnings-based intrinsic value of $69.52 vs current price of $99.64 (margin of safety: -43.3%) DCF FCF-based intrinsic value: not available GF Score™ of 81/100 indicates a relatively strong reliability of the DCF inputs What Is BABA Worth? DCF Earnings-Based Model To assess Alibaba's intrinsic value, we employ a two-stage DCF model. The first stage considers a growth phase where earnings per share (EPS) is projected to grow at a rate of 8.4% annually for the next ten years, followed by a terminal phase with a reduced growth rate of 4% for the subsequent ten years. The discount rate applied is 11%, which accounts for the risk-free rate and equity risk premium.

Parameter Value Current EPS (TTM, excl. non-recurring) $4.83 10-Year Growth Rate 8.4% 10-Year Treasury Rate 4.99% Discount Rate (ceil(Treasury) + 6%) 11% Terminal Growth Rate 4% The calculation summary for the two-stage model is as follows:

Stage Description Value Growth Stage (Years 1-10) EPS growing at 8.4%, discounted at 11% $42.45 Terminal Stage (Years 11-20) 4% terminal growth, discounted at 11% $27.07 Intrinsic Value Growth + Terminal $69.52 With the current price at $99.64, the intrinsic value of $69.52 indicates that Alibaba is significantly overvalued, presenting a margin of safety of -43.3%. It is important to note that GuruFocus utilizes EPS excluding non-recurring items, as research shows that stock prices correlate more closely with earnings than with free cash flow. For further details, visit the BABA DCF Calculator.

What Does the Free Cash Flow DCF Say? The DCF model based on free cash flow (FCF) is not available for Alibaba at this time. In the absence of FCF data, we rely on the earnings-based DCF and the GF Value™ to form a more comprehensive view of the company's valuation. The earnings DCF suggests significant overvaluation, while the FCF-based model remains unavailable for comparison.

How Does GF Value™ Compare to the DCF Models? According to GuruFocus, the GF Value™ for Alibaba stands at $123.07, indicating that the stock is undervalued by 19.0%. This proprietary measure is derived from historical trading multiples, past business growth, and future performance estimates. The discrepancy between the GF Value™ and the earnings-based DCF intrinsic value suggests a divergence in valuation perspectives, with the GF Value™ indicating a more favorable outlook compared to the DCF models. For more insights, check out the GF Value™.

What Does BABA's GF Score™ Tell Us? The GF Score™ evaluates a company's financial strength, profitability, growth potential, valuation, and momentum, providing a holistic view of its investment quality. Alibaba's GF Score™ is 81 out of 100, reflecting a strong overall assessment. However, its predictability rank is notably low at 0 out of 5 stars, suggesting that the DCF model's reliability may be compromised due to the company's unpredictable earnings performance.

Metric Rating GF Score™ 81/100 Financial Strength 7/10 Profitability 7/10 Growth 8/10 Valuation 10/10 Momentum 2/10

Key Assumptions and Limitations It is crucial to recognize that DCF models are highly sensitive to the assumptions made regarding growth rates and discount rates. Stocks with low predictability ratings, such as Alibaba, tend to yield less reliable DCF estimates. The terminal growth rate of 4% is a simplifying assumption that may not accurately reflect future economic conditions.

What This Means for Investors In synthesizing the three valuation models—DCF earnings, DCF FCF, and GF Value™—a clear tension emerges. The earnings-based DCF indicates that Alibaba is significantly overvalued, while the GF Value™ suggests a more favorable valuation perspective. This divergence highlights the uncertainty surrounding Alibaba's future performance. Additionally, the guru ownership signal shows that 17 gurus currently hold the stock, with 6 adding to their positions and 10 trimming their holdings, while insiders have net sold $60.2 million over the past year. This mixed signal from both gurus and insiders adds another layer of complexity to the investment narrative. For a deeper dive into the DCF analysis, visit the BABA DCF Calculator.

Frequently Asked Questions What is BABA's intrinsic value based on DCF?

According to the earnings-based DCF, the intrinsic value is $69.52, while the FCF-based intrinsic value is not available.

Is BABA overvalued or undervalued?

The earnings-based DCF indicates that BABA is overvalued, while the GF Value™ suggests it is undervalued at $123.07.

How reliable is the DCF model for BABA?

The DCF model's reliability is questionable due to a predictability rank of 0 out of 5 stars.

Boeing, Coca-Cola Earnings Previews: A Turnaround Story and a Defensive Staple Face the Same Test
BA Boeing
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Boeing needs one quarter to prove its turnaround is real, while Coca-Cola needs to justify a 35% run against the toughest comparisons of the year. Both report October 27, and the macro backdrop could not be more complicated.

Boeing (NYSE:BA | BA Price Prediction) and Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO) both report third-quarter results on October 27, 2026. One is a turnaround, and the other is a defensive staple. Both report after the October 22 selloff, which was linked to Middle East tensions and rising oil prices.

On Mad Money on September 24, 2026, Jim Cramer said Boeing and Coca-Cola were among 17 stocks that, per Hendrik Bessembinder’s research, delivered cumulative returns of more than 5 million percent from 1925 to 2023. That record helps explain the long-term investor interest in both names.

Turnaround Progress Meets a Defensive Rally
Boeing’s second quarter showed progress, but it came at a cost. Revenue rose 8.0% to $24.56 billion, deliveries reached 171, and free cash flow turned positive at $631 million. Still, the core loss of $0.76 per share was well short of the $0.34 loss analysts expected. A $280 million VC-25B charge did much of the damage. Shares are down 12.8% year to date.

Coca-Cola beat EPS estimates for the fifth consecutive quarter, making $0.97 against the $0.93 consensus. It then raised its full-year comparable EPS growth outlook to 9% to 10%. The stock is up 35.7% year to date. Watch for results before the New York Stock Exchange opens, and the investor call follows at 8:30 a.m. ET.

Max 10 Certification and Oil Will Frame Boeing’s Morning
Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy noted the 737 Max 10 certification on October 20, 2026: “This has been almost a ten-year process getting to this day of certification, which, by the way, is huge.” According to Marketplace Morning Report, major airlines have ordered more than 1,400 of the jets. The program also reported that regulators found a software glitch this year and determined it was not a flight safety issue. Watch for confirmation of 2027 first deliveries and progress on the 737 ramp to 47 per month. Boeing also guided to third-quarter free cash flow in the low hundreds of millions, despite a $700 million DOJ payment.

Oil adds pressure, with benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude at $107.89 a barrel on October 20. Cramer once quipped, “Every time crude goes up a dollar, Boeing stock goes down a dollar,” but he called that logic flawed, arguing that airlines actually need more fuel-efficient planes as oil rises. RTX (NYSE:RTX) CEO Chris Calio made a similar point: “There’s the concern around jet fuel and airline health and pricing, but the demand is still there.”

Coca-Cola Must Prove Volume Holds Against Tougher Comparisons
Second-quarter unit case volume rose 5%, and Zero Sugar grew 16%. The World Cup and an easier prior-year comparison both helped. Management warned that the second half brings a tougher year-over-year comparison and six fewer selling days in the fourth quarter. Watch Asia Pacific, where price/mix fell 9%.

On GLP-1 weight-loss drugs, Cramer argued that PepsiCo (NASDAQ:PEP) is more exposed because of its snack business: “Live by junk food, die by junk food.” In June, after Coca-Cola hit a new high on a down day for the market, he said: “I want you to reach for Coca-Cola and then just keep buying.”

What a Winning October 27 Looks Like for Each Stock
For Boeing, a good morning means positive free cash flow despite the DOJ payment, plus a firm Max 10 delivery schedule. Free cash flow is the number that matters most. For Coca-Cola, success means volume growth that holds up against the tougher comparison and reaffirmed guidance. The key figure is organic revenue growth against the about 5% full-year target. Boeing must earn back investor trust. Coca-Cola must justify its premium valuation after a 35.7% run.

Is NFLX Undervalued? DCF Says Worth $94
NFLX Netflix
FMP Stock News
Original source text
On October 26, 2026, we conducted a DCF analysis for Netflix Inc NFLX , which has seen a significant decline in its stock price over the past year. The current price stands at $65.85, reflecting a year-to-date drop of 29.8% and a staggering 40.9% decrease over the last year. This analysis aims to provide insights into the intrinsic value of Netflix based on various valuation models.

DCF Earnings-based intrinsic value of $94.09 vs current price of $65.85 (margin of safety: 30.0%) DCF Free Cash Flow-based intrinsic value of $83.25 (second opinion) GF Score™ of 87/100 indicates a high level of reliability for the DCF inputs What Is NFLX Worth? DCF Earnings-Based Model The DCF earnings-based model for Netflix uses a two-stage approach to estimate the intrinsic value of the stock. In the first stage, we project earnings growth over the next ten years based on the current EPS and expected growth rate. In the second stage, we calculate the terminal value based on a lower growth rate, reflecting a more stable phase of the company's life cycle.

Parameter Value Current EPS (TTM, excl. non-recurring) $3.01 10-Year Growth Rate 55.1% 10-Year Treasury Rate 4.99% Discount Rate (ceil(Treasury) + 6%) 11% Terminal Growth Rate 4% Here’s a summary of the calculations for the two stages:

Stage Description Value Growth Stage (Years 1-10) EPS growing at 55.1%, discounted at 11% $30.39 Terminal Stage (Years 11-20) 4% terminal growth, discounted at 11% $63.70 Intrinsic Value Growth + Terminal $94.09 With the current price at $65.85, the intrinsic value of $94.09 indicates that Netflix is significantly undervalued, providing a margin of safety of 30.0%. It's important to note that GuruFocus uses EPS excluding non-recurring items, as research shows stock prices correlate more closely with earnings than with free cash flow. For further details, you can access the NFLX DCF Calculator.

What Does the Free Cash Flow DCF Say? The Free Cash Flow (FCF) based intrinsic value for Netflix is calculated to be $83.25. When compared to the earnings-based intrinsic value of $94.09, both models suggest that Netflix is undervalued, albeit the FCF model indicates a more modest margin of safety of 20.9%. This alignment between the two models reinforces the view that Netflix presents a compelling investment opportunity, despite the challenges it faces.

How Does GF Value™ Compare to the DCF Models? The GF Value™ for Netflix is calculated at $104.35, providing yet another perspective on its valuation. GF Value™ is GuruFocus' proprietary measure that takes into account historical trading multiples, past business growth, and future performance estimates. All three models—the DCF earnings-based, DCF FCF-based, and GF Value™—agree that Netflix is undervalued, which adds confidence to the overall assessment. For more information, visit the GF Value™ page.

What Does NFLX's GF Score™ Tell Us? The GF Score™ evaluates a company's financial strength, profitability, growth potential, valuation, and momentum. For Netflix, the GF Score™ stands at 87/100, indicating strong fundamentals. However, the predictability rank of 1/5 stars suggests that the DCF model's reliability may be limited due to the company's volatile nature. Below is a summary of the GF Score™ metrics:

Metric Rating GF Score™ 87/100 Financial Strength 7/10 Profitability 10/10 Growth 10/10 Valuation 4/10 Momentum 2/10 For further insights, you can check the NFLX stock page.

Key Assumptions and Limitations It is crucial to recognize that DCF models are highly sensitive to assumptions regarding growth rates and discount rates. Stocks with low predictability ratings, such as Netflix, tend to produce less reliable DCF estimates. The terminal growth rate of 4% used in this analysis is a simplifying assumption that may not reflect future realities.

What This Means for Investors In summary, all three valuation models—DCF earnings, DCF FCF, and GF Value™—point towards Netflix being undervalued at its current price. The consensus among these models, combined with the guru ownership signal indicating that 21 gurus currently hold the stock, with 12 adding and 11 trimming their positions, suggests a cautiously optimistic outlook. However, the net selling by insiders over the past 12 months raises some caution. Investors should consider these factors carefully. BENTONVILLE, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The holidays should be about making memories, not making compromises. But with budgets stretched, busy schedules and growing shopping lists, customers are looking for ways to make the season special without added stress. Walmart is making it easier with three major holiday shopping events from November 12 through December 2, bringing savings on gifts, seasonal favorites and everyday essentials – plus a new holiday marketing campaign.

Walmart research shows that 60% of shoppers say the price of gifts and holiday purchases affects how they feel about the season, while 70% say lower prices would make holiday shopping easier. A Holiday Classic Gets a Walmart Twist

Beyond incredible savings, Walmart is giving customers plenty of reasons to be surprised by what they discover this holiday season. Bringing that spirit to life is “A Who Knew Carol,” Walmart's new holiday campaign inspired by the classic holiday film, “The Muppet Christmas Carol.”

The campaign brings together an iconic ensemble of Muppets, including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, The Great Gonzo, Rizzo the Rat and Pepé the King Prawn, alongside Walton Goggins as Ebenezer Scrooge and Stephanie Beatriz as Scrooge's niece. Together, they bring a fresh twist to the holiday classic, showing that even the biggest humbug can be delightfully surprised by Walmart's exciting gifts, favorite brands and incredible value.

“‘A Who Knew Carol’ brings Walmart’s holiday campaign to life in a way that's playful, memorable and full of unexpected surprises all season long," said William White, chief marketing officer. “By pairing the enduring charm of The Muppets with Walton Goggins’ humor, we’re showing that Walmart can surprise customers with the brands, gifts, deals and convenience they need to make the season even more joyful.”

The campaign kicks off with “A Who Knew Carol” followed by a series of videos and social content throughout the holiday season bringing Walmart’s holiday assortment to life – from must-have gifts and exciting finds to quality that makes shoppers stop and say, “Who Knew?”

It's one more way Walmart is helping customers discover more to love, spend less and make more room for what matters this holiday season.
