Here at Zacks, we focus on our proven ranking system, which places an emphasis on earnings estimates and estimate revisions, to find winning stocks. But we also understand that investors develop their own strategies, so we are constantly looking at the latest trends in value, growth, and momentum to find strong companies for our readers.
Of these, perhaps no stock market trend is more popular than value investing, which is a strategy that has proven to be successful in all sorts of market environments. Value investors rely on traditional forms of analysis on key valuation metrics to find stocks that they believe are undervalued, leaving room for profits.
In addition to the Zacks Rank, investors looking for stocks with specific traits can utilize our Style Scores system. Of course, value investors will be most interested in the system's "Value" category. Stocks with "A" grades for Value and high Zacks Ranks are among the best value stocks available at any given moment.
One stock to keep an eye on is Amdocs (DOX - Free Report) . DOX is currently sporting a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) and an A for Value. The stock is trading with P/E ratio of 11.05 right now. For comparison, its industry sports an average P/E of 17.06. Over the past year, DOX's Forward P/E has been as high as 13.67 and as low as 11.05, with a median of 12.19.
DOX is also sporting a PEG ratio of 1.25. This metric is used similarly to the famous P/E ratio, but the PEG ratio also takes into account the stock's expected earnings growth rate. DOX's industry currently sports an average PEG of 2.04. Within the past year, DOX's PEG has been as high as 1.38 and as low as 1.13, with a median of 1.26.
Value investors also frequently use the P/S ratio. This metric is found by dividing a stock's price with the company's revenue. This is a popular metric because sales are harder to manipulate on an income statement, so they are often considered a better performance indicator. DOX has a P/S ratio of 1.21. This compares to its industry's average P/S of 1.51.
These are just a handful of the figures considered in Amdocs's great Value grade. Still, they help show that the stock is likely being undervalued at the moment. Add this to the strength of its earnings outlook, and we can clearly see that DOX is an impressive value stock right now.
Wall Street expects a year-over-year decline in earnings on higher revenues when Fulton Financial (FULT - Free Report) reports results for the quarter ended June 2026. While this widely-known consensus outlook is important in gauging the company's earnings picture, a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price is how the actual results compare to these estimates.
The earnings report, which is expected to be released on July 22, might help the stock move higher if these key numbers are better than expectations. On the other hand, if they miss, the stock may move lower.
While management's discussion of business conditions on the earnings call will mostly determine the sustainability of the immediate price change and future earnings expectations, it's worth having a handicapping insight into the odds of a positive EPS surprise.
Zacks Consensus EstimateThis financial holding company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $0.53 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of -3.6%.
Revenues are expected to be $361.54 million, up 10.1% from the year-ago quarter.
Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 0.59% lower over the last 30 days to the current level. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period.
Investors should keep in mind that an aggregate change may not always reflect the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts.
Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise
Earnings WhisperEstimate revisions ahead of a company's earnings release offer clues to the business conditions for the period whose results are coming out. This insight is at the core of our proprietary surprise prediction model -- the Zacks Earnings ESP (Expected Surprise Prediction).
The Zacks Earnings ESP compares the Most Accurate Estimate to the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the quarter; the Most Accurate Estimate is a more recent version of the Zacks Consensus EPS estimate. The idea here is that analysts revising their estimates right before an earnings release have the latest information, which could potentially be more accurate than what they and others contributing to the consensus had predicted earlier.
Thus, a positive or negative Earnings ESP reading theoretically indicates the likely deviation of the actual earnings from the consensus estimate. However, the model's predictive power is significant for positive ESP readings only.
A positive Earnings ESP is a strong predictor of an earnings beat, particularly when combined with a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), 2 (Buy) or 3 (Hold). Our research shows that stocks with this combination produce a positive surprise nearly 70% of the time, and a solid Zacks Rank actually increases the predictive power of Earnings ESP.
Please note that a negative Earnings ESP reading is not indicative of an earnings miss. Our research shows that it is difficult to predict an earnings beat with any degree of confidence for stocks with negative Earnings ESP readings and/or Zacks Rank of 4 (Sell) or 5 (Strong Sell).
How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for Fulton Financial? For Fulton Financial, the Most Accurate Estimate is lower than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bearish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of -1.42%.
On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #4.
So, this combination makes it difficult to conclusively predict that Fulton Financial will beat the consensus EPS estimate.
Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue? While calculating estimates for a company's future earnings, analysts often consider to what extent it has been able to match past consensus estimates. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.
For the last reported quarter, it was expected that Fulton Financial would post earnings of $0.5 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.55, delivering a surprise of +10.00%.
Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates four times.
Bottom LineAn earnings beat or miss may not be the sole basis for a stock moving higher or lower. Many stocks end up losing ground despite an earnings beat due to other factors that disappoint investors. Similarly, unforeseen catalysts help a number of stocks gain despite an earnings miss.
That said, betting on stocks that are expected to beat earnings expectations does increase the odds of success. This is why it's worth checking a company's Earnings ESP and Zacks Rank ahead of its quarterly release. Make sure to utilize our Earnings ESP Filter to uncover the best stocks to buy or sell before they've reported.
Fulton Financial doesn't appear a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.
An Industry Player's Expected ResultsAnother stock from the Zacks Banks - Northeast industry, Orrstown Financial Services (ORRF - Free Report) , is soon expected to post earnings of $1.03 per share for the quarter ended June 2026. This estimate indicates a year-over-year change of -1%. Revenues for the quarter are expected to be $64 million, up 2.5% from the year-ago quarter.
The consensus EPS estimate for Orrstown has been revised 1.4% lower over the last 30 days to the current level. However, a lower Most Accurate Estimate has resulted in an Earnings ESP of -0.65%.
When combined with a Zacks Rank of #2 (Buy), this Earnings ESP makes it difficult to conclusively predict that Orrstown will beat the consensus EPS estimate. The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters.

The popular research service can help you become a smarter, more self-assured investor, giving you access to daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens.

What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores, developed alongside the Zacks Rank, are complementary indicators that rate stocks based on three widely-followed investing methodologies; they also help investors pick stocks with the best chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.
Each stock is assigned a rating of A, B, C, D, or F based on their value, growth, and momentum characteristics. Just like in school, an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on -- that means the better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform.
The Style Scores are broken down into four categories:
Value ScoreFinding good stocks at good prices, and discovering which companies are trading under their true value, are what value investors like to focus on. So, the Value Style Score takes into account ratios like P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, Price/Cash Flow, and a host of other multiples to highlight the most attractive and discounted stocks.
Growth ScoreWhile good value is important, growth investors are more focused on a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score takes projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow into account to uncover stocks that will see long-term, sustainable growth.
Momentum ScoreMomentum trading is all about taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook, and these investors live by the saying "the trend is your friend." The Momentum Style Score can pinpoint good times to build a position in a stock, using factors like one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates.
VGM ScoreIf you want a combination of all three Style Scores, then the VGM Score will be your friend. It rates each stock on their combined weighted styles, helping you find the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum. It's also one of the best indicators to use with the Zacks Rank.
How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank, which is a proprietary stock-rating model, employs earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to make building a winning portfolio easier.
Investors can count on the Zacks Rank's success, with #1 (Strong Buy) stocks producing an unmatched +23.94% average annual return since 1988, more than double the S&P 500's performance. But the model rates a large number of stocks, and there are over 200 companies with a Strong Buy rank, plus another 600 with a #2 (Buy) rank, on any given day.
This totals more than 800 top-rated stocks, and it can be overwhelming to try and pick the best stocks for you and your portfolio.
That's where the Style Scores come in.
To have the best chance of big returns, you'll want to always consider stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B, which will give you the highest probability of success. If you're looking at stocks with a #3 (Hold) rank, it's important they have Scores of A or B as well to ensure as much upside potential as possible.
Since the Scores were created to work together with the Zacks Rank, the direction of a stock's earnings estimate revisions should be a key factor when choosing which stocks to buy.
Here's an example: a stock with a #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell) rating, even one with Style Scores of A and B, still has a downward-trending earnings outlook, and a bigger chance its share price will decrease too.
Thus, the more stocks you own with a #1 or #2 Rank and Scores of A or B, the better.

Eaton (ETN - Free Report) is one of the stocks most watched by Zacks.com visitors lately. So, it might be a good idea to review some of the factors that might affect the near-term performance of the stock.
Shares of this power management company have returned +1.9% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +1.6% change. The Zacks Manufacturing - Electronics industry, to which Eaton belongs, has gained 0.9% over this period. Now the key question is: Where could the stock be headed in the near term?
Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.
Revisions to Earnings EstimatesHere at Zacks, we prioritize appraising the change in the projection of a company's future earnings over anything else. That's because we believe the present value of its future stream of earnings is what determines the fair value for its stock.
We essentially look at how sell-side analysts covering the stock are revising their earnings estimates to reflect the impact of the latest business trends. And if earnings estimates go up for a company, the fair value for its stock goes up. A higher fair value than the current market price drives investors' interest in buying the stock, leading to its price moving higher. This is why empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.
Eaton is expected to post earnings of $3.08 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +4.4%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate has changed +0.3%.
The consensus earnings estimate of $13.35 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +10.6%. This estimate has changed +0.2% over the last 30 days.
For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $15.71 indicates a change of +17.7% from what Eaton is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed +0.4%.
With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool -- the Zacks Rank -- is a more conclusive indicator of a stock's near-term price performance, as it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for Eaton.
The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:
12 Month EPS
Revenue Growth ForecastEven though a company's earnings growth is arguably the best indicator of its financial health, nothing much happens if it cannot raise its revenues. It's almost impossible for a company to grow its earnings without growing its revenue for long periods. Therefore, knowing a company's potential revenue growth is crucial.
For Eaton, the consensus sales estimate for the current quarter of $7.99 billion indicates a year-over-year change of +13.6%. For the current and next fiscal years, $31.82 billion and $35.13 billion estimates indicate +15.9% and +10.4% changes, respectively.
Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryEaton reported revenues of $7.45 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +16.8%. EPS of $2.81 for the same period compares with $2.72 a year ago.
Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $7.09 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +5.16%. The EPS surprise was +2.55%.
Over the last four quarters, Eaton surpassed consensus EPS estimates three times. The company topped consensus revenue estimates two times over this period.
ValuationWithout considering a stock's valuation, no investment decision can be efficient. In predicting a stock's future price performance, it's crucial to determine whether its current price correctly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects.
While comparing the current values of a company's valuation multiples, such as price-to-earnings (P/E), price-to-sales (P/S), and price-to-cash flow (P/CF), with its own historical values helps determine whether its stock is fairly valued, overvalued, or undervalued, comparing the company relative to its peers on these parameters gives a good sense of the reasonability of the stock's price.
The Zacks Value Style Score (part of the Zacks Style Scores system), which pays close attention to both traditional and unconventional valuation metrics to grade stocks from A to F (an A is better than a B; a B is better than a C; and so on), is pretty helpful in identifying whether a stock is overvalued, rightly valued, or temporarily undervalued.
Eaton is graded D on this front, indicating that it is trading at a premium to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.
Bottom LineThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Eaton. However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.
PJT Partners (PJT) witnessed a jump in share price last session on above-average trading volume. The latest trend in earnings estimate revisions for the stock doesn't suggest further strength down the road.
Tomato Prices Are Spiking, and These 2 Food Stocks Could Feel the SqueezeConagra Brands NYSE: CAG reported fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 results that were within its original full-year guidance ranges, while newly appointed CEO John Brase outlined a plan to restore margins, increase investment and simplify the packaged foods company’s operations.
Brase, speaking on his first earnings call as CEO, said Conagra’s results came in a “dynamic environment” but also showed “the continued need to take bold action to unlock our full potential.” He said the company has strong brands, attractive categories, innovation capabilities and a foundation in technology and artificial intelligence, but acknowledged several areas needing improvement.

Conagra Stock Yields Nearly 9% After a 60% Decline—Time to Buy?“Our focus on volume and margin has become imbalanced,” Brase said, adding that Conagra has reached an inflection point after investments helped improve volumes and strengthen its market position. “The next phase is to translate that momentum into stronger profitability with a focus on restoring margin.”
Fourth-Quarter Sales Flat, Margins Down CFO Dave Marberger said fourth-quarter organic net sales were approximately $2.7 billion, flat with the prior year. Volumes declined 1.6%, while price mix increased 1.6%. Adjusted gross margin was 24.5%, and adjusted operating margin was 11.7%, down from the prior year but improved sequentially from the third quarter. Adjusted earnings per share were $0.47, compared with $0.56 a year earlier.
5 Under-the-Radar Consumer Staples Stocks With Pricing PowerFor the full fiscal year, organic net sales declined 0.4%, adjusted operating margin was 11.3%, and adjusted EPS was $1.72. Marberger said all three metrics were within Conagra’s original fiscal 2026 guidance ranges.
Segment results were mixed. Grocery & Snacks posted about $1.2 billion in fourth-quarter net sales, with organic net sales up 0.5%, driven by growth in snacks and partially offset by weakness in grocery. Refrigerated & Frozen also generated about $1.2 billion in net sales, with organic net sales down 0.5%. Marberger said volumes in that segment grew modestly, helped by volume share gains in frozen meals and vegetables and the benefit of lapping prior-year supply constraints.
International organic net sales declined 2.4%, as growth in Mexico was more than offset by softer volumes in Canada and global markets. Foodservice organic net sales rose 1.8%, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of organic growth.
Inflation and Investment Pressured Profitability Marberger said fourth-quarter adjusted operating margin declined 215 basis points from the prior year to 11.7%. Price mix contributed 90 basis points to margin, as inflation-justified pricing actions more than offset incremental merchandising investments. However, total inflation, including core inflation and gross tariffs, remained elevated at approximately 6.5%.
He cited ongoing inflation in beef and edible oil, along with more recent increases tied to crude oil and logistics. Core productivity, including tariff mitigation, was more than 5% of cost of goods sold and included about $6 million of tariff refunds. Those benefits were partly offset by unfavorable operating leverage from lower internal production volumes, which Marberger attributed mainly to pricing elasticity and actions to reduce inventory levels.
Adjusted EPS declined in the quarter due to lower adjusted operating profit as inflation exceeded productivity, lower adjusted equity earnings from the Ardent Mills joint venture and reduced profit from divested businesses. Favorability in the tax rate and the benefit of a 53rd week partially offset those pressures.
CEO Sets Four Priorities Brase identified four priorities for Conagra: stabilizing and restoring margins, increasing investment in brands and supply chain, simplifying the portfolio and organization, and rebalancing capital allocation.
He said the company has “sacrificed a significant amount of margin” over the past several years because of inflation and a focus on driving volume, particularly in frozen foods. Conagra plans to target productivity of more than 4% and implement strategic, inflation-justified pricing actions where necessary, with special emphasis on frozen products.
Brase cautioned that these pricing actions may pressure volumes in the short term but said they are needed to restore margins and fund investments for long-term category and business health.
The company also plans to increase advertising spending to about 3% of net sales in fiscal 2027, a 14% year-over-year increase, with a focus on frozen meals and meat snacks. Brase said the company will also increase capital investment in its supply chain to improve service, resilience and productivity.
Brase repeatedly emphasized “radical simplicity,” saying Conagra has operated with a portfolio that is “too large and too complex for too long.” He said the company will review where it has the right to win, actively manage the portfolio for better growth and stronger margins, and evaluate strategic options for non-core businesses.
Dividend Cut Aimed at Financial Flexibility Conagra also announced that its board approved a quarterly dividend at an annualized rate of $0.70 per share, a 50% reduction from the prior rate. Marberger said the revised dividend is expected to provide about $335 million in additional discretionary cash on an annualized basis.
The company plans to use that cash for debt reduction, brand-building investments, and supply chain and modernization initiatives. Marberger said the action resets Conagra’s dividend payout ratio near its long-term target of 50% to 55% and supports the company’s investment-grade credit rating.
Conagra reduced net debt by nearly $1 billion in fiscal 2026, and its net leverage ratio ended the year at 3.83 times. The company continues to target long-term leverage of three times.
Fiscal 2027 Outlook Calls for Lower Sales and EPS For fiscal 2027, Conagra expects organic net sales to decline 1% to 3%, adjusted operating margin of 10% to 10.5%, and adjusted EPS of $1.40 to $1.50.
Marberger said the outlook includes planned inflation-justified pricing actions and associated volume impacts. The company expects volumes to decline in the mid-single digits, assuming larger-than-historical elasticities, especially in frozen.
Conagra expects inflation to remain elevated throughout fiscal 2027, driven largely by oil-related costs, logistics and animal protein such as beef. The company also expects about $40 million in expense from wrapping a portion of last year’s tariff mitigation, equal to roughly 0.5% of cost of goods sold. Productivity is expected to exceed 4% of cost of goods sold.
In the first quarter, Conagra expects organic net sales to decline in the low single digits and adjusted operating margin in the high single digits, reflecting category trends, the wrap from fiscal 2026 pricing actions, heightened inflation and increased advertising and promotion spending.
Brase said Conagra is developing a longer-term strategic roadmap and expects to share more at an Investor Day in early calendar 2027. “We’ll be honest about where we stand and what we need to do to deliver consistent and reliable results,” he said.

Value investors also use the P/S ratio. The P/S ratio is calculated as price divided by sales. This is a preferred metric because revenue can't really be manipulated, so sales are often a truer performance indicator. MMS has a P/S ratio of 0.57. This compares to its industry's average P/S of 0.76.
These figures are just a handful of the metrics value investors tend to look at, but they help show that Maximus is likely being undervalued right now. Considering this, as well as the strength of its earnings outlook, MMS feels like a great value stock at the moment.
It doesn't matter your age or experience: taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals for all investors. Luckily, Zacks Premium offers several different ways to do both.
The research service features daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, full access to the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens, all of which will help you become a smarter, more confident investor.
Zacks Premium includes access to the Zacks Style Scores as well.
What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores, developed alongside the Zacks Rank, are complementary indicators that rate stocks based on three widely-followed investing methodologies; they also help investors pick stocks with the best chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.
Based on their value, growth, and momentum characteristics, each stock is assigned a rating of A, B, C, D, or F. The better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform; an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on.
The Style Scores are broken down into four categories:
Value ScoreFor value investors, it's all about finding good stocks at good prices, and discovering which companies are trading under their true value before the broader market catches on. The Value Style Score utilizes ratios like P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, Price/Cash Flow, and a host of other multiples to help pick out the most attractive and discounted stocks.
Growth ScoreGrowth investors, on the other hand, are more concerned with a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score examines things like projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow to find stocks that will experience sustainable growth over time.
VGM ScoreWhat if you like to use all three types of investing? The VGM Score is a combination of all Style Scores, making it one of the most comprehensive indicators to use with the Zacks Rank. It rates each stock on their combined weighted styles, which helps narrow down the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum.
How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank, which is a proprietary stock-rating model, employs earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to make building a winning portfolio easier.
#1 (Strong Buy) stocks have produced an unmatched +23.94% average annual return since 1988, which is more than double the S&P 500's performance over the same time frame. However, the Zacks Rank examines a ton of stocks, and there can be more than 200 companies with a Strong Buy rank, and another 600 with a #2 (Buy) rank, on any given day.
With more than 800 top-rated stocks to choose from, it can certainly feel overwhelming to pick the ones that are right for you and your investing journey.
Stock to Watch: Oneok Inc. (OKE - Free Report) Tulsa, OK-based ONEOK Inc. was founded in 1906. The company is an energy company engaged in natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGL) businesses. On Jun 30, 2017, ONEOK acquired all the shares of ONEOK Partners. In September 2023, ONEOK completed its acquisition of Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. for $18.8 billion. The agreement opened up Magellan's primarily fee-based refined products and crude oil transportation business to ONEOK.
OKE is a #2 (Buy) on the Zacks Rank, with a VGM Score of B.
It also boasts a Value Style Score of B thanks to attractive valuation metrics like a forward P/E ratio of 16.69; value investors should take notice.
Two analysts revised their earnings estimate upwards in the last 60 days for fiscal 2026. The Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.01 to $5.51 per share. OKE boasts an average earnings surprise of +2.5%.
With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Value and VGM Style Scores, OKE should be on investors' short list.
Harmony Biosciences Holdings, Inc. (HRMY - Free Report) closed the last trading session at $34.81, gaining 2.9% over the past four weeks, but there could be plenty of upside left in the stock if short-term price targets set by Wall Street analysts are any guide. The mean price target of $44.33 indicates a 27.4% upside potential.
The average comprises 12 short-term price targets ranging from a low of $28.00 to a high of $85.00, with a standard deviation of $15.28. While the lowest estimate indicates a decline of 19.6% from the current price level, the most optimistic estimate points to a 144.2% upside. More than the range, one should note the standard deviation here, as it helps understand the variability of the estimates. The smaller the standard deviation, the greater the agreement among analysts.
While the consensus price target is a much-coveted metric for investors, solely banking on this metric to make an investment decision may not be wise at all. That's because the ability and unbiasedness of analysts in setting price targets have long been questionable.
However, an impressive consensus price target is not the only factor that indicates a potential upside in HRMY. This view is strengthened by the agreement among analysts that the company will report better earnings than what they estimated earlier. Though a positive trend in earnings estimate revisions doesn't give any idea as to how much the stock could surge, it has proven effective in predicting an upside.
Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise
Here's What You Should Know About Analysts' Price TargetsAccording to researchers at several universities across the globe, a price target is one of many pieces of information about a stock that misleads investors far more often than it guides. In fact, empirical research shows that price targets set by several analysts, irrespective of the extent of agreement, rarely indicate where the price of a stock could actually be heading.
While Wall Street analysts have deep knowledge of a company's fundamentals and the sensitivity of its business to economic and industry issues, many of them tend to set overly optimistic price targets. Are you wondering why?
They usually do that to drum up interest in shares of companies that their firms either have existing business relationships with or are looking to be associated with. In other words, business incentives of firms covering a stock often result in inflated price targets set by analysts.
However, a tight clustering of price targets, which is represented by a low standard deviation, indicates that analysts have a high degree of agreement about the direction and magnitude of a stock's price movement. While that doesn't necessarily mean the stock will hit the average price target, it could be a good starting point for further research aimed at identifying the potential fundamental driving forces.
That said, while investors should not entirely ignore price targets, making an investment decision solely based on them could lead to disappointing ROI. So, price targets should always be treated with a high degree of skepticism.
Here's Why There Could be Plenty of Upside Left in HRMYThere has been increasing optimism among analysts lately about the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by strong agreement among them in revising EPS estimates higher. And that could be a legitimate reason to expect an upside in the stock. After all, empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has increased 1.7% over the past month, as one estimate has gone higher compared to no negative revision.
Moreover, HRMY currently has a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), which means it is in the top 5% of more than 4,000 stocks that we rank based on four factors related to earnings estimates. Given an impressive externally-audited track record, this is a more conclusive indication of the stock's potential upside in the near term. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>> .
Therefore, while the consensus price target may not be a reliable indicator of how much HRMY could gain, the direction of price movement it implies does appear to be a good guide.

Investors often turn to recommendations made by Wall Street analysts before making a Buy, Sell, or Hold decision about a stock. While media reports about rating changes by these brokerage-firm employed (or sell-side) analysts often affect a stock's price, do they really matter?
Let's take a look at what these Wall Street heavyweights have to say about Chewy (CHWY - Free Report) before we discuss the reliability of brokerage recommendations and how to use them to your advantage.
Chewy currently has an average brokerage recommendation (ABR) of 1.67, on a scale of 1 to 5 (Strong Buy to Strong Sell), calculated based on the actual recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell, etc.) made by 27 brokerage firms. An ABR of 1.67 approximates between Strong Buy and Buy.
Of the 27 recommendations that derive the current ABR, 18 are Strong Buy and two are Buy. Strong Buy and Buy respectively account for 66.7% and 7.4% of all recommendations.
Brokerage Recommendation Trends for CHWY
Check price target & stock forecast for Chewy here>>>
While the ABR calls for buying Chewy, it may not be wise to make an investment decision solely based on this information. Several studies have shown limited to no success of brokerage recommendations in guiding investors to pick stocks with the best price increase potential.
Do you wonder why? As a result of the vested interest of brokerage firms in a stock they cover, their analysts tend to rate it with a strong positive bias. According to our research, brokerage firms assign five "Strong Buy" recommendations for every "Strong Sell" recommendation.
This means that the interests of these institutions are not always aligned with those of retail investors, giving little insight into the direction of a stock's future price movement. It would therefore be best to use this information to validate your own analysis or a tool that has proven to be highly effective at predicting stock price movements.
Zacks Rank, our proprietary stock rating tool with an impressive externally audited track record, categorizes stocks into five groups, ranging from Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) to Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell), and is an effective indicator of a stock's price performance in the near future. Therefore, using the ABR to validate the Zacks Rank could be an efficient way of making a profitable investment decision.
Zacks Rank Should Not Be Confused With ABRAlthough both Zacks Rank and ABR are displayed in a range of 1--5, they are different measures altogether.
The ABR is calculated solely based on brokerage recommendations and is typically displayed with decimals (example: 1.28). In contrast, the Zacks Rank is a quantitative model allowing investors to harness the power of earnings estimate revisions. It is displayed in whole numbers -- 1 to 5.
It has been and continues to be the case that analysts employed by brokerage firms are overly optimistic with their recommendations. Because of their employers' vested interests, these analysts issue more favorable ratings than their research would support, misguiding investors far more often than helping them.
In contrast, the Zacks Rank is driven by earnings estimate revisions. And near-term stock price movements are strongly correlated with trends in earnings estimate revisions, according to empirical research.
In addition, the different Zacks Rank grades are applied proportionately to all stocks for which brokerage analysts provide current-year earnings estimates. In other words, this tool always maintains a balance among its five ranks.
There is also a key difference between the ABR and Zacks Rank when it comes to freshness. When you look at the ABR, it may not be up-to-date. Nonetheless, since brokerage analysts constantly revise their earnings estimates to reflect changing business trends, and their actions get reflected in the Zacks Rank quickly enough, it is always timely in predicting future stock prices.
Is CHWY a Good Investment?Looking at the earnings estimate revisions for Chewy, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has declined 0.3% over the past month to $1.53.
Analysts' growing pessimism over the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by strong agreement among them in revising EPS estimates lower, could be a legitimate reason for the stock to plunge in the near term.
The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell) for Chewy. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>>
Therefore, it could be wise to take the Buy-equivalent ABR for Chewy with a grain of salt.

Prior to a company's earnings release, it is of utmost importance to factor in any revisions made to the earnings projections. These revisions serve as a critical gauge for predicting potential investor behaviors with respect to the stock. Empirical studies consistently reveal a strong link between trends in earnings estimate revisions and the short-term price performance of a stock.

Key Takeaways FTNT, OKTA and S are highlighted as cybersecurity picks amid AI growth and rising cyber threat concerns.Fortinet is expanding AI-driven security, SASE and Security Fabric offerings to capture enterprise demand. SentinelOne is growing its AI-native platform and expanding through acquisitions and partner relationships. The cybersecurity space has been witnessing a significant rally this year, sidetracking the fear that the massive adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies will cannibalize traditional software developers. This space focuses on companies that offer integrated protection against evolving security threats to safeguard applications, networks and cloud computing environments.
Globally, the growing threat of cyber attacks has made investment in this space a "must-have" expense priority for enterprises, benefiting pure-play cybersecurity firms. The Zacks-defined Cybersecurity industry has provided 62.7% returns year to date compared with the broad-market benchmark of the S&P 500 Index’s returns of 10.4%.
At this stage, we recommend three cybersecurity firms with a favorable Zacks Rank for investment in the second half of 2026. The companies are: Fortinet Inc. (FTNT - Free Report) , Okta Inc. (OKTA - Free Report) and SentinelOne Inc. (S - Free Report) . Each of our picks currently carries either a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) or 2 (Buy). Two Recent CatalystsThree major U.S. federal security organizations and several other government agencies internationally issued warnings against possible Russian cyber threats. The agency’s directives issued notification for enterprises (both public and private) to implement strict authentication and data encryption and monitor measures.
These agencies are alarmed that Russia could target networking equipment in critical infrastructure sectors like communications, defense industrial base, energy, financial services, government services and facilities, and healthcare and public health.
On July 14, Arvind Krishna, CEO of International Business Machines Corp. (IBM - Free Report) said, on the company’s earnings conference call that its clients are inclining toward capital spending for currently supply-shortened AI infrastructure products like severs, memory and storage.
Krishna said that "rapidly-evolving, industry-wide cybersecurity concerns" forced IBM’s customers to change their priority. A shift toward higher AI infrastructure hardware purchase is forcing these companies to spend more on cybersecurity to protect their networks, systems and equipment.
Fortinet Inc.Zacks Rank #1 Fortinet is benefitting from a strong product roadmap built on FortiOS 8.0, AI-driven security, next-generation SASE, quantum-safe capabilities and new FortiGate 3500G/400G firewalls. FTNT’s aggressive product roadmap positions the company to capitalize on escalating cybersecurity demands throughout 2026.
FTNT's strategic focus on expanding Unified SASE, Secure SD-WAN, FortiSASE and Security Fabric integration through a single FortiOS operating system creates compelling migration opportunities from legacy competitors.
The network security market is experiencing structural expansion as enterprises prioritize AI, OT, edge security, SASE, cloud protection and vendor consolidation, creating substantial growth runway for FTNT in 2026.
Fortinet has an expected revenue and earnings growth rate of 14.7% and 14.1%, respectively, for the current year. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year’s earnings has improved 0.3% over the last 60 days.
Okta Inc.Zacks Rank #2 Okta operates as an identity partner in the United States and internationally. OKTA offers a suite of products and services used to manage and secure identities. Okta’s expanding portfolio across governance, privileged access, device access, authorization, posture management, and AI-driven threat protection continues to support customer wins and cross-sell.
OKTA is extending its identity layer to secure AI agents and other non-human identities, which management views as a growing source of enterprise risk. Okta for AI Agents became generally available during the first quarter of fiscal 2027, while Auth0 for AI Agents targets builders embedding identity into agent workflows.
OKTA noted these products are still early and not material to results, but AI-agent discussions are already raising Okta’s strategic position with customers and supporting broader platform adoption. OKTA also highlighted that new products represented about 25% of first-quarter bookings and that deals including new products have shown about a 40% ACV uplift, reinforcing the long-term cross-sell potential as agent deployments scale.
Okta has an expected revenue and earnings growth rate of 9.5% and 9.4%, respectively, for the current year (ending January 2027). The Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year’s earnings has improved 1.1% over the last 60 days.
SentinelOne Inc.Zacks Rank #2 SentinelOne’s Singularity platform provides AI-native security across endpoint, cloud, identity, data, and AI security through one interface. The automation-led approach of S is expanding enterprise adoption, while emerging solutions now represent about half of ARR.
SentinelOne’s product advances in Purple AI, Prompt Security, AI SIEM, cloud security, and Hyperautomation support a broader platform story. ARR, high-value customers, net new ARR, and RPO continued to rise in the fiscal first quarter. Liquidity and adjusted free cash flow also improved.
Strategic acquisitions like KSG, PingSafe, Prompt Security, and Observo have expanded S’ addressable market. Prompt strengthens generative and agentic AI security, while Observo complements the data and SIEM portfolio. SentinelOne’s partner base is also expanding through MSSPs, incident responders, VARs, hyperscalers, and OEM relationships.
Okta has an expected revenue and earnings growth rate of 9.5% and 9.4%, respectively, for the current year (ending January 2027). The Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year’s earnings has improved 1.1% over the last 60 days.
SentinelOne has an expected revenue and earnings growth rate of 19.9% and 80%, respectively, for the current year (ending January 2027). The Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year’s earnings has improved 2.9% over the last 60 days.

"Kombinace rostoucích úrokových sazeb hypoték a cen nemovitostí žene měsíční splátky úvěrů stále nahoru,“ ředitel UlovDomov Michal Hrbatý. Z posledních statistik České bankovní asociace Hypomonitor vyplývá, že úrokové sazby v květnu v průměru stouply na 4,67 procenta z dubnových 4,52 procenta.
Například V Praze a Brně byla měsíční splátka hypotéky u menších a středních bytů zhruba o polovinu až dvojnásobek dražší než tržní nájemné.
Here at Zacks, our focus is on the proven Zacks Rank system, which emphasizes earnings estimates and estimate revisions to find great stocks. Nevertheless, we are always paying attention to the latest value, growth, and momentum trends to underscore strong picks.
Considering these trends, value investing is clearly one of the most preferred ways to find strong stocks in any type of market. Value investors rely on traditional forms of analysis on key valuation metrics to find stocks that they believe are undervalued, leaving room for profits.
Zacks has developed the innovative Style Scores system to highlight stocks with specific traits. For example, value investors will be interested in stocks with great grades in the "Value" category. When paired with a high Zacks Rank, "A" grades in the Value category are among the strongest value stocks on the market today.
One company value investors might notice is KornFerry International (KFY - Free Report) . KFY is currently sporting a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) and an A for Value. The stock holds a P/E ratio of 13.53, while its industry has an average P/E of 15.76. KFY's Forward P/E has been as high as 15.62 and as low as 11.30, with a median of 13.71, all within the past year.
Finally, investors will want to recognize that KFY has a P/CF ratio of 11.47. This metric focuses on a firm's operating cash flow and is often used to find stocks that are undervalued based on the strength of their cash outlook. This company's current P/CF looks solid when compared to its industry's average P/CF of 22.60. Within the past 12 months, KFY's P/CF has been as high as 15.12 and as low as 9.53, with a median of 11.34.
Value investors will likely look at more than just these metrics, but the above data helps show that KornFerry International is likely undervalued currently. And when considering the strength of its earnings outlook, KFY sticks out as one of the market's strongest value stocks.
Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF - Free Report) has been one of the most searched-for stocks on Zacks.com lately. So, you might want to look at some of the facts that could shape the stock's performance in the near term.
Over the past month, shares of this teen clothing retailer have returned +4.3%, compared to the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +1.6% change. During this period, the Zacks Retail - Apparel and Shoes industry, which Abercrombie falls in, has lost 6.3%. The key question now is: What could be the stock's future direction?
While media releases or rumors about a substantial change in a company's business prospects usually make its stock 'trending' and lead to an immediate price change, there are always some fundamental facts that eventually dominate the buy-and-hold decision-making.
Revisions to Earnings EstimatesRather than focusing on anything else, we at Zacks prioritize evaluating the change in a company's earnings projection. This is because we believe the fair value for its stock is determined by the present value of its future stream of earnings.
Our analysis is essentially based on how sell-side analysts covering the stock are revising their earnings estimates to take the latest business trends into account. When earnings estimates for a company go up, the fair value for its stock goes up as well. And when a stock's fair value is higher than its current market price, investors tend to buy the stock, resulting in its price moving upward. Because of this, empirical studies indicate a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and short-term stock price movements.
Abercrombie is expected to post earnings of $1.90 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of -18.1%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate has changed -2.3%.
The consensus earnings estimate of $10.46 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +6.1%. This estimate has changed -1.6% over the last 30 days.
For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $11.48 indicates a change of +9.8% from what Abercrombie is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed -1.5%.
Having a strong externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, offers a more conclusive picture of a stock's price direction in the near term, since it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. Due to the size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, Abercrombie is rated Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:
12 Month EPS
Projected Revenue GrowthWhile earnings growth is arguably the most superior indicator of a company's financial health, nothing happens as such if a business isn't able to grow its revenues. After all, it's nearly impossible for a company to increase its earnings for an extended period without increasing its revenues. So, it's important to know a company's potential revenue growth.
In the case of Abercrombie, the consensus sales estimate of $1.24 billion for the current quarter points to a year-over-year change of +2.8%. The $5.44 billion and $5.67 billion estimates for the current and next fiscal years indicate changes of +3.4% and +4.2%, respectively.
Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryAbercrombie reported revenues of $1.11 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +1.5%. EPS of $1.47 for the same period compares with $1.59 a year ago.
Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.12 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of -0.48%. The EPS surprise was +16.67%.
The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters. The company topped consensus revenue estimates three times over this period.
Abercrombie is graded A on this front, indicating that it is trading at a discount to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.
Bottom LineThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Abercrombie. However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.
Considering these trends, value investing is clearly one of the most preferred ways to find strong stocks in any type of market. Value investors use fundamental analysis and traditional valuation metrics to find stocks that they believe are being undervalued by the market at large.
In addition to the Zacks Rank, investors looking for stocks with specific traits can utilize our Style Scores system. Of course, value investors will be most interested in the system's "Value" category. Stocks with "A" grades for Value and high Zacks Ranks are among the best value stocks available at any given moment.
Boise Cascade (BCC - Free Report) is a stock many investors are watching right now. BCC is currently sporting a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) and an A for Value. The stock is trading with a P/E ratio of 14.44, which compares to its industry's average of 26.47. BCC's Forward P/E has been as high as 15.47 and as low as 9.83, with a median of 12.16, all within the past year.
Investors should also recognize that BCC has a P/B ratio of 1.39. The P/B is a method of comparing a stock's market value to its book value, which is defined as total assets minus total liabilities. This company's current P/B looks solid when compared to its industry's average P/B of 3.67. Over the past year, BCC's P/B has been as high as 2.84 and as low as 1.39, with a median of 1.77.
Finally, our model also underscores that BCC has a P/CF ratio of 7.25. This figure highlights a company's operating cash flow and can be used to find firms that are undervalued when considering their impressive cash outlook. This company's current P/CF looks solid when compared to its industry's average P/CF of 17.46. Within the past 12 months, BCC's P/CF has been as high as 10.74 and as low as 6.96, with a median of 8.11.
These figures are just a handful of the metrics value investors tend to look at, but they help show that Boise Cascade is likely being undervalued right now. Considering this, as well as the strength of its earnings outlook, BCC feels like a great value stock at the moment.

Organon (OGN - Free Report) has been one of the most searched-for stocks on Zacks.com lately. So, you might want to look at some of the facts that could shape the stock's performance in the near term.
Shares of this pharmaceutical company have returned +0.6% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +1.6% change. The Zacks Medical Services industry, to which Organon belongs, has gained 6.2% over this period. Now the key question is: Where could the stock be headed in the near term?
While media releases or rumors about a substantial change in a company's business prospects usually make its stock 'trending' and lead to an immediate price change, there are always some fundamental facts that eventually dominate the buy-and-hold decision-making.
Organon is expected to post earnings of $0.87 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of -13%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate remained unchanged.

The popular research service can help you become a smarter, more self-assured investor, giving you access to daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens.
It also includes access to the Zacks Style Scores.
What are the Zacks Style Scores? Developed alongside the Zacks Rank, the Zacks Style Scores are a group of complementary indicators that help investors pick stocks with the best chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.
Value ScoreValue investors love finding good stocks at good prices, especially before the broader market catches on to a stock's true value. Utilizing ratios like P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, Price/Cash Flow, and many other multiples, the Value Style Score identifies the most attractive and most discounted stocks.
Growth ScoreWhile good value is important, growth investors are more focused on a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score takes projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow into account to uncover stocks that will see long-term, sustainable growth.
Momentum ScoreMomentum investors, who live by the saying "the trend is your friend," are most interested in taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook. Utilizing one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates, among other factors, the Momentum Style Score can help determine favorable times to buy high-momentum stocks.
How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank is a proprietary stock-rating model that harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to help investors build a successful portfolio.
It's highly successful, with #1 (Strong Buy) stocks producing an unmatched +23.94% average annual return since 1988. That's more than double the S&P 500. But because of the large number of stocks we rate, there are over 200 companies with a Strong Buy rank, plus another 600 with a #2 (Buy) rank, on any given day.
This totals more than 800 top-rated stocks, and it can be overwhelming to try and pick the best stocks for you and your portfolio.
That's where the Style Scores come in.
You want to make sure you're buying stocks with the highest likelihood of success, and to do that, you'll need to pick stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B. If you like a stock that only has a #3 (Hold) rank, it should also have Scores of A or B to guarantee as much upside potential as possible.
Since the Scores were created to work together with the Zacks Rank, the direction of a stock's earnings estimate revisions should be a key factor when choosing which stocks to buy.
A stock with a #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell) rating, for instance, even one with Scores of A and B, will still have a declining earnings forecast, and a greater chance its share price will fall too.
Thus, the more stocks you own with a #1 or #2 Rank and Scores of A or B, the better.

Developer Platform accelerates AI-powered building with new end-to-end domain lifecycle offering
, /PRNewswire/ -- GoDaddy (NYSE: GDDY), the world's largest domain registrar, announced the launch of the GoDaddy Developer Platform, a developer offering designed for a world where AI agents, coding assistants and automated workflows are increasingly doing the work of getting a business online.
AI coding tools already help developers build websites and applications, but finding, registering and configuring a domain still requires users to leave their development environment, visit a registrar website and complete several steps manually.
The GoDaddy Developer Platform brings these steps together into a single workflow leveraging the tools developers already use including terminals, coding assistants and AI chat experiences. This means developers can complete key domain tasks without switching to a browser.
"AI is fundamentally changing how software is created and the infrastructure behind the internet has to evolve with it," said Travis Muhlestein, chief technology officer of product AI at GoDaddy. "Our Developer Platform now connects GoDaddy domain services directly into developer tools, giving our customers, whether they have one domain or thousands, the ability to complete the entire domain lifecycle. The result is faster domain search, purchase and configuration – going from idea to a live online presence in minutes."
A Platform Designed for Developers and AI Agents
The GoDaddy Developer Platform includes:
New domain APIs – Programmatic access to domain search and name suggestions, availability and account-specific pricing, purchase, DNS configuration and domain management through a single platform Modern authentication – Scoped open authorization (OAuth) tokens that let developers grant AI agents precisely the access they need and nothing more Agent-safe execution – Built-in scoped permissions, explicit price confirmation before any purchase, and confirmation flows for irreversible actions so that buying authority is designed to remain with the developer or account owner New command-line interface (CLI) – Brings the full platform to the command line, built for developers in a terminal and the AI coding agents that increasingly work alongside them Rebuilt developer portal – Open access to LLM-optimized documentation, CLI downloads and guided onboarding designed to get developers from sign-up to a successful API call in minutes Today's launch of GoDaddy's Developer Platform is focused on the end-to-end domain lifecycle but marks a new chapter for anyone managing domains at scale. The reimagined platform is designed for individual developers, web designers, agencies, domain investors and resellers that build on behalf of clients or automate repetitive work.
"GoDaddy's Developer Platform is built for the next generation of builders," said Muhlestein.
Future platform phases may expand into investor workflows, aftermarket APIs, automated domain repair, bulk operations, reseller tooling and additional GoDaddy product APIs.
The free GoDaddy Developer Platform is available now to users across the globe. Existing customers using legacy APIs can continue to use those without disruption but also have the ability to switch to the new beta at any time.

The recommendations of Wall Street analysts are often relied on by investors when deciding whether to buy, sell, or hold a stock. Media reports about these brokerage-firm-employed (or sell-side) analysts changing their ratings often affect a stock's price. Do they really matter, though?
Before we discuss the reliability of brokerage recommendations and how to use them to your advantage, let's see what these Wall Street heavyweights think about SharkNinja, Inc. (SN - Free Report) .
SharkNinja, Inc. currently has an average brokerage recommendation (ABR) of 1.17, on a scale of 1 to 5 (Strong Buy to Strong Sell), calculated based on the actual recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell, etc.) made by 12 brokerage firms. An ABR of 1.17 approximates between Strong Buy and Buy.
Of the 12 recommendations that derive the current ABR, 11 are Strong Buy, representing 91.7% of all recommendations.
Brokerage Recommendation Trends for SN
Check price target & stock forecast for SharkNinja, Inc. here>>>
The ABR suggests buying SharkNinja, Inc., but making an investment decision solely on the basis of this information might not be a good idea. According to several studies, brokerage recommendations have little to no success guiding investors to choose stocks with the most potential for price appreciation.
Do you wonder why? As a result of the vested interest of brokerage firms in a stock they cover, their analysts tend to rate it with a strong positive bias. According to our research, brokerage firms assign five "Strong Buy" recommendations for every "Strong Sell" recommendation.
In other words, their interests aren't always aligned with retail investors, rarely indicating where the price of a stock could actually be heading. Therefore, the best use of this information could be validating your own research or an indicator that has proven to be highly successful in predicting a stock's price movement.
ABR Should Not Be Confused With Zacks RankAlthough both Zacks Rank and ABR are displayed in a range of 1--5, they are different measures altogether.
Broker recommendations are the sole basis for calculating the ABR, which is typically displayed in decimals (such as 1.28). The Zacks Rank, on the other hand, is a quantitative model designed to harness the power of earnings estimate revisions.
On the other hand, earnings estimate revisions are at the core of the Zacks Rank. And empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.
Should You Invest in SN?Looking at the earnings estimate revisions for SharkNinja, Inc., the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has increased 0.4% over the past month to $6.14.
Analysts' growing optimism over the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by strong agreement among them in revising EPS estimates higher, could be a legitimate reason for the stock to soar in the near term.
The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) for SharkNinja, Inc. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>>
Therefore, the Buy-equivalent ABR for SharkNinja, Inc may serve as a useful guide for investors.
San Diego, California--(Newsfile Corp. - July 15, 2026) - Robbins LLP reminds stockholders that a class action was filed on behalf of all investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Helen of Troy Limited (NASDAQ: HELE) common stock between April 24, 2024 and October 8, 2025. Helen of Troy markets a variety of consumer goods across several segments.
For more information, submit a form, email attorney Aaron Dumas, Jr., or give us a call at (800) 350-6003.
What is the class period? April 24, 2024 - October 8, 2025
What are the allegations?
Shareholders allege that Helen of Troy Limited misled investors regarding the ability of Project Pegasus to improve efficiency and effectiveness. According to the complaint, in fiscal year 2023, Helen of Troy initiated Project Pegasus, a "global restructuring program that focused on both efficiency and effectiveness." As a part of this initiative, the Company invested in a new distribution center in Tennessee to support its targeted growth.
Plaintiff alleges that during the class period, the Company boasted about the "fuel" it was generating from Project Pegasus. Although Helen of Troy admitted to some speed bumps in Project Pegasus, specifically citing "implementation hiccups" with its new Tennessee distribution center, defendants assured investors that "despite the delayed savings related to our Tennessee distribution center, Project Pegasus continues to move forward. We have made good progress on the cost of goods sold work streams, implementing multiple projects that reduce costs and simplify our supplier base." In reality, Project Pegasus was not delivering the efficiencies that defendants touted. Rather, unknown to investors, Helen of Troy did not have enough resources or the budget to achieve its stated restructuring or savings goals.
Plaintiff further alleges that on July 10, 2025, Helen of Troy revealed that its net sales for the first quarter of fiscal 2026 had declined 11% year-over-year and its adjusted earnings per share had shrunk by nearly 60% compared to the prior year. The Company also disclosed a $414.4 million goodwill impairment, which it attributed to its continued decelerating revenue growth. The Company's interim CEO-CFO Brian Grass-conceded that Helen of Troy had become "too complicated and lost focus," which "created unnecessary sprawl and [the Company] became scattered in terms of priorities." As a result of these disclosures, the price of Helen of Troy shares declined by $7.04 per share, or 22.7%.
Then, on October 9, 2025, CEO G. Scott Uzzell reported Helen of Troy's second quarter results for fiscal year 2026, announcing that quarterly sales were down 8.9% year-over-year, adjusted earnings per share plummeted by 51%, and that these results were caused by significant business disruptions and cost headwinds which the Company expects to persist for the remainder of the year. These disclosures caused Helen of Troy's stock price to decline by $6.90 per share, or 25%.
What can shareholders do now? You may be eligible to participate in the class action against Helen of Troy Limited. Shareholders who wish to serve as lead plaintiff for the class must submit their papers to the court by August 3, 2026. The lead plaintiff is a representative party who acts on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation. You do not have to participate in the case to be eligible for a recovery. Time-Sensitive: Allegations Focus on Tennessee Distribution Center Failures and Misleading Operational Health Representations That Cost HELE Investors Over $38 Per Share
, /PRNewswire/ -- Levi & Korsinsky, LLP alerts investors in Helen of Troy Limited (NASDAQ: HELE) of a pending securities class action. Class Period: April 24, 2024 through October 8, 2025. Check if you can recover your investment losses or contact Joseph E. Levi, Esq. at [email protected] | (212) 363-7500.
Helen of Troy shares lost $24.68 per share in a single session, a 27.7% collapse, after the Company slashed its full-year revenue outlook by more than 20% and disclosed an "unusual number of internal and external challenges." The stock suffered additional collapses of 22.7% and 25% on July 10, 2025 and October 9, 2025 following additional related disclosures. The Court has set August 3, 2026 as the deadline to apply for lead plaintiff appointment.
The Alleged Tennessee Distribution Center Disruption
A securities class action asserts that Helen of Troy misled shareholders about the operational readiness and efficiency of its new Tennessee distribution center, a cornerstone of the Company's Project Pegasus restructuring program. While management publicly described "implementation hiccups" and assured investors that remediation was "substantially completed," the lawsuit claims these representations masked deeper structural problems. The action contends the facility never achieved its targeted labor efficiencies during the Class Period, undermining the savings and margin expansion that had been promised to the market.
What Management Allegedly Knew About Operational Shortfalls
As alleged in the complaint, the Company's leadership was aware that internal budget and resource constraints prevented the distribution center from reaching the efficiency levels management publicly projected. The lawsuit asserts that statements characterizing the Tennessee facility's challenges as temporary "hiccups" were materially misleading because the problems were systemic. The action claims that:
The Tennessee distribution center's automation system required remediation that took longer and cost more than disclosed Labor efficiency targets at the facility were not achievable within the timeframes communicated to investors The Company lacked sufficient budget and resources to execute the distribution center optimization it repeatedly touted Full-year revenue guidance was reduced by over 20% in part due to these undisclosed operational failures Adjusted earnings per share ultimately declined nearly 60% as internal challenges compounded A $414.4 million goodwill impairment was later recorded, reflecting the depth of operational deterioration Internal and External Challenges: The Phrase That Obscured the Truth
When the Company first acknowledged trouble on July 9, 2024, it attributed disappointing results to an "unusual number of internal and external challenges" without specifying that its flagship distribution investment was failing to deliver. The lawsuit contends this vague characterization allowed the Company to avoid disclosing the severity of its operational problems while continuing to assure investors that Project Pegasus was generating "fuel" for growth.

"Investors deserve transparency about material risks that could affect their investments. When a company represents that operational challenges are temporary while internal constraints prevent achievement of stated goals, shareholders are deprived of the information they need to make informed decisions." -- Joseph E. Frequently Asked Questions About the HELE Lawsuit
Q: Who is eligible to join the HELE investor lawsuit? A: Investors who purchased HELE stock or securities between April 24, 2024 and October 8, 2025 and suffered financial losses may be eligible. Eligibility is based on purchase date and documented losses, not on whether you still hold the shares.
Q: How much did HELE stock drop? A: Shares fell approximately 27.7%, a decline of $24.68 per share, after the Company disclosed a revenue outlook reduction of over 20% and cited internal and external challenges. Investors who purchased shares during the class period at artificially inflated prices may be entitled to compensation.
Q: What do HELE investors need to do right now? A: Gather brokerage records including purchase dates, share quantities, and prices paid. Contact Levi & Korsinsky for a free, no-obligation evaluation at [email protected] or (212) 363-7500. No immediate action is required to remain eligible as a class member.
Q: What is a lead plaintiff and why does it matter? A: A lead plaintiff is the investor appointed by the court to represent the entire class. Lead plaintiffs are typically investors with the largest documented losses. Being appointed does not increase individual recovery but gives direct oversight of how the case is run.
Q: What if I already sold my HELE shares -- can I still recover losses? A: Yes. Eligibility is based on when you purchased, not whether you still hold them. Investors who bought during the class period and sold at a loss may still participate.
Q: What does it cost me to participate? A: Nothing. Securities class actions are handled on a pure contingency basis. No upfront fees, no retainer, no out-of-pocket costs.
Q: What if I missed the lead plaintiff deadline? A: The deadline applies only to investors seeking lead plaintiff appointment. Class members who miss it can still participate in any settlement or recovery.

Looking at the history of these trends, perhaps none is more beloved than value investing. This strategy simply looks to identify companies that are being undervalued by the broader market.
One stock to keep an eye on is Shift4 Payments (FOUR - Free Report) . FOUR is currently sporting a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy), as well as an A grade for Value. The stock is trading with a P/E ratio of 13.81, which compares to its industry's average of 17.08. Over the past year, FOUR's Forward P/E has been as high as 29.16 and as low as 13.28, with a median of 17.86.
FOUR is also sporting a PEG ratio of 0.62. This popular figure is similar to the widely-used P/E ratio, but the PEG ratio also considers a company's expected EPS growth rate. FOUR's PEG compares to its industry's average PEG of 1.00. Over the past 52 weeks, FOUR's PEG has been as high as 1.11 and as low as 0.47, with a median of 0.66.
We should also highlight that FOUR has a P/B ratio of 7.56. Investors use the P/B ratio to look at a stock's market value versus its book value, which is defined as total assets minus total liabilities. This company's current P/B looks solid when compared to its industry's average P/B of 8.07. Over the past 12 months, FOUR's P/B has been as high as 11.00 and as low as 6.32, with a median of 8.04.
Value investors also frequently use the P/S ratio. This metric is found by dividing a stock's price with the company's revenue. This is a popular metric because sales are harder to manipulate on an income statement, so they are often considered a better performance indicator. FOUR has a P/S ratio of 0.89. This compares to its industry's average P/S of 1.86.
Finally, our model also underscores that FOUR has a P/CF ratio of 13.43. This data point considers a firm's operating cash flow and is frequently used to find companies that are undervalued when considering their solid cash outlook. FOUR's current P/CF looks attractive when compared to its industry's average P/CF of 13.43. Over the past year, FOUR's P/CF has been as high as 23.91 and as low as 11.91, with a median of 15.91.
These figures are just a handful of the metrics value investors tend to look at, but they help show that Shift4 Payments is likely being undervalued right now. Considering this, as well as the strength of its earnings outlook, FOUR feels like a great value stock at the moment.

Zákaz má platit do konce července.
Těžký topný olej a vakuový plynový olej (VGO) tvořily v první polovině července více než polovinu vývozu ropných produktů z Ruska po moři.

The recommendations of Wall Street analysts are often relied on by investors when deciding whether to buy, sell, or hold a stock. Media reports about these brokerage-firm-employed (or sell-side) analysts changing their ratings often affect a stock's price. Do they really matter, though?
Let's take a look at what these Wall Street heavyweights have to say about Reddit Inc. (RDDT - Free Report) before we discuss the reliability of brokerage recommendations and how to use them to your advantage.
Reddit Inc. currently has an average brokerage recommendation (ABR) of 1.93, on a scale of 1 to 5 (Strong Buy to Strong Sell), calculated based on the actual recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell, etc.) made by 29 brokerage firms. An ABR of 1.93 approximates between Strong Buy and Buy.
Of the 29 recommendations that derive the current ABR, 16 are Strong Buy and one is Buy. Strong Buy and Buy respectively account for 55.2% and 3.5% of all recommendations.

While the ABR calls for buying Reddit Inc., it may not be wise to make an investment decision solely based on this information.
In other words, their interests aren't always aligned with retail investors, rarely indicating where the price of a stock could actually be heading. Therefore, the best use of this information could be validating your own research or an indicator that has proven to be highly successful in predicting a stock's price movement.
With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, which classifies stocks into five groups, ranging from Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) to Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell), is a reliable indicator of a stock's near-term price performance. So, validating the Zacks Rank with ABR could go a long way in making a profitable investment decision.
It is displayed in whole numbers -- 1 to 5.
Analysts employed by brokerage firms have been and continue to be overly optimistic with their recommendations. Since the ratings issued by these analysts are more favorable than their research would support because of the vested interest of their employers, they mislead investors far more often than they guide.
In contrast, the Zacks Rank is driven by earnings estimate revisions. And near-term stock price movements are strongly correlated with trends in earnings estimate revisions, according to empirical research.
Furthermore, the different grades of the Zacks Rank are applied proportionately across all stocks for which brokerage analysts provide earnings estimates for the current year. In other words, at all times, this tool maintains a balance among the five ranks it assigns.
Another key difference between the ABR and Zacks Rank is freshness. The ABR is not necessarily up-to-date when you look at it. But, since brokerage analysts keep revising their earnings estimates to account for a company's changing business trends, and their actions get reflected in the Zacks Rank quickly enough, it is always timely in indicating future price movements.
Should You Invest in RDDT?In terms of earnings estimate revisions for Reddit Inc., the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has remained unchanged over the past month at $4.83.
Analysts' steady views regarding the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by an unchanged consensus estimate, could be a legitimate reason for the stock to perform in line with the broader market in the near term.
The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for Reddit Inc. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>>
It may therefore be prudent to be a little cautious with the Buy-equivalent ABR for Reddit Inc.

The business also generated a non-GAAP gross margin of 30%, more than double the Products segment's 14.6%, highlighting its attractive profitability profile. As integrated device manufacturers and foundries expand capacity for advanced logic, high-bandwidth memory and advanced packaging, greater manufacturing intensity should support sustained demand for chamber cleaning, coatings and micro-contamination analytical services even after new tools are installed.
The long-term outlook remains favorable as higher wafer production and rising tool utilization are expected to support recurring service requirements throughout the semiconductor manufacturing cycle. The services business is expected to deliver double-digit growth while contributing roughly 10-12% of total revenues over time, reinforcing its ability to provide a more stable and profitable revenue stream than equipment-driven sales.
Supported by structural growth in wafer starts, increasing semiconductor manufacturing activity and its high-margin service portfolio, Ultra Clean's Services business appears well-positioned to become an increasingly important contributor to long-term revenue growth and profitability across future semiconductor cycles.
UCTT Faces Stiff CompetitionUltra Clean faces stiff competition from Entegris (ENTG - Free Report) and MKS Instruments (MKSI - Free Report) in semiconductor manufacturing support solutions. Entegris offers contamination control, specialty materials and wafer handling technologies that help improve semiconductor manufacturing yields, while MKS Instruments provides vacuum solutions, subsystems and process technologies that enhance equipment performance across advanced fabrication processes.
Despite this competitive landscape, Ultra Clean remains differentiated through its chamber cleaning, coatings and micro-contamination analytical services, which are directly tied to wafer starts and tool utilization. As AI-driven fab investments continue to increase production volumes, Ultra Clean is well-positioned to compete effectively with Entegris and MKS Instruments while expanding its higher-margin Services business.

Key Takeaways RF is expected to post y/y growth in second-quarter earnings and revenues on July 17 results.RF may benefit from higher NII and non-interest income, led by capital markets and wealth fees.RF has a positive Earnings ESP, while estimates point to higher expenses and non-performing loans. Regions Financial Corporation (RF - Free Report) is scheduled to report second-quarter 2026 results on July 17, 2026, before the opening bell. Quarterly earnings and revenues are expected to register year-over-year growth in the to-be-reported quarter.
In the last reported quarter, the company’s results benefited from increases in non-interest income and net interest income (NII). However, higher non-interest expenses played spoilsport.
Regions Financial has a decent earnings surprise history. Its earnings have surpassed estimates in three of the trailing four quarters and missed once, with an average surprise of 1.81%.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for second-quarter 2026 earnings of 64 cents per share has been unchanged over the past seven days. The figure indicates a 6.7% rise from the year-ago reported number.
The consensus estimate for revenues is pegged at $1.95 billion, indicating a 2.5% increase from the prior-year reported figure.
Key Factors & Estimates for RF's Q2NII & Loans: In the second quarter of 2026, the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged and signaled a hike later this year. Thus, stabilizing funding and deposit costs are expected to have supported modest growth in RF’s NII in the quarter to be reported.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for NII is pegged at $1.27 billion, indicating a 1.2% rise from the year-ago quarter’s actuals.
Building on the momentum seen in the first quarter, RF's lending activity is expected to have strengthened further in the to-be-reported quarter. According to the Federal Reserve’s latest data, the demand for overall loans was decent in the second quarter. Given this, the company is likely to have witnessed improvement in average interest-earning assets. The Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.41 billion for average earning assets indicates a marginal rise from the year-ago quarter’s actual.
Non-Interest Income: After a record-setting first quarter, global deal-making activity moderated amid geopolitical uncertainty, persistent valuation gaps, slowing economic growth, elevated inflation and interest rates, and a stubbornly high backlog of private equity exits. Nevertheless, strategic buyers remained active, pursuing transactions aimed at enhancing scale, strengthening resilience and improving supply-chain security in response to the challenging operating environment.
Hence, while deal value declined in the second quarter (as only a handful of big transactions dominated the space), the volume of global mergers and acquisitions (M&As) improved year over year. This is anticipated to have supported the company’s capital markets revenues.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for capital markets income is pegged at $86.7 million, indicating a 4.5% rise from the prior-year quarter’s actual.
Though mortgage rates increased in the second quarter to the mid-6% range, they were lower than the prior-year quarter’s reported level. As such, refinancing activities and origination volume did not witness significant growth. Thus, RF’s mortgage banking income is expected to have witnessed a decline in the second quarter. The consensus estimate for mortgage income is pegged at $33.1 million, indicating a 31% fall from the prior quarter’s reported figure.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for card and ATM fees of $124.6 million implies a slight decline from the year-ago quarter's actual.
The consensus estimate for revenues from service charges on deposit accounts of $161.8 million indicates a 7.1% rise from the prior year’s reported level.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for wealth management income is pegged at $145.5 million, indicating a 9.4% increase from the prior-year quarter’s reported number.
Overall, the consensus estimate for total non-interest income is pinned at $656.5 million, indicating a 1.6% rise from the prior-year quarter’s reported number.
Expenses: RF’s expenses are expected to have been high in the quarter under discussion due to increases in salaries, employee benefit expenses and other expenses. Although the company has been implementing expense-management actions, its ongoing investment in technology advancement and franchise strengthening is likely to have kept the expense base elevated.
Asset Quality: Regions Financial is unlikely to have set aside a substantial amount for potential loan delinquencies, given the modest improvement in the operating environment, supported by resilient economic growth, broadly stable credit conditions and the announced ceasefire in the Middle East. However, robust lending and persistently higher inflation are likely to have weighed on provision numbers.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for non-performing loans is pegged at $792.9 million, indicating a slight rise from the prior-year quarter's reported figure.

KULR ONE Space to power Icarus Robotics’ JOY autonomous free-flying robotic platform for an upcoming mission aboard the International Space Station
HOUSTON, July 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- KULR Technology Group, Inc. (NYSE American: KULR) (the "Company" or "KULR"), a developer of safe, high-power energy systems that enable physical AI across space, defense, drones, data centers, robotics, and other mission-critical applications, today announced that Icarus Robotics (“Icarus”), an autonomous space robotics company, has selected KULR as the battery provider for JOY, its free-flying robotic platform, which is bound for the International Space Station.
Under the agreement, KULR will supply its KULR ONE Space (K1S) battery systems -- engineered to NASA safety standards and proven on the Artemis II crewed lunar mission -- to power JOY’s onboard systems as it performs autonomous navigation, maneuvering, and operations aboard the orbiting station.
“Icarus Robotics represents exactly the type of next-generation space company KULR ONE Space was built to support,” said Michael Mo, Chief Executive Officer of KULR Technology Group. “Autonomous robotics in orbit demand safe, reliable, flight-ready energy systems that perform in mission-critical environments where there is no margin for error. We are proud to power Icarus as it advances a new category of robotic capability for the ISS and future commercial space stations.”
Based in New York City, Icarus Robotics builds general-purpose robotic systems for space operations powered by embodied AI. Its robot, JOY, is built to perform autonomous, free-flying operations that assist with routine tasks, infrastructure maintenance, and future commercial space station activities, freeing astronauts to focus on higher-value research and mission objectives.
JOY is targeted to fly in early 2027, making it the most advanced free-flying robotic platform ever sent to the ISS as part of JOYRIDE-1. By integrating KULR ONE Space battery systems, Icarus draws on KULR’s space-qualified battery architecture, thermal management expertise, and NASA heritage to meet the demanding safety and reliability requirements of human-rated space environments.
“Our goal is to make autonomous robots a standard part of how space stations operate, handling the routine work so crews can focus on the science,” said Ethan Barajas, CEO of Icarus Robotics. “JOY is the first step, and it only works if every system underneath it is dependable enough to run unattended in orbit. That's why we turned to KULR for the energy that keeps it flying.”
The KULR ONE Space battery system is built on KULR’s lightweight REACH battery architecture, delivering high energy density at low mass. K1S systems incorporate strategically selected cells qualified through Initial Lot Assessment (ILA), Lot Acceptance Testing (LAT), and NASA WI-37A cell screening protocols.
KULR CEO Michael Mo added a broader view of the Company’s strategy:
“The next phase of space infrastructure won’t be defined by compute alone. Orbital systems can’t be serviced by technicians, so the robots that inspect, repair, and assemble them — and the batteries that power them — are essential to keeping that infrastructure running safely. This agreement reflects where KULR ONE is headed: the energy and power platform for physical AI, where autonomous systems in orbit must carry both their own intelligence and their own energy.”
This agreement expands KULR’s role as a battery systems provider for the commercial space industry. It builds on KULR’s space heritage, including battery systems designed to meet NASA safety requirements for Artemis crewed spaceflight, an active rideshare mission with Exolaunch aboard a SpaceX launch vehicle, and supply relationships with multiple commercial space operators. KULR’s Webster, Texas manufacturing and R&D facility will support production and qualification testing for the Icarus battery systems.
