(NASDAQ: SKYW) (“SkyWest”) today reported financial and operating results for Q3 2026, including net income of $120 million, or $3.08 per diluted share, compared to net income of $116 million, or $2.81 per diluted share, for Q3 2025. The Q3 2026 financial results were negatively impacted by higher fuel cost per gallon in SkyWest's prorate business compared to Q3 2025 and Q2 2026. Commenting on the results, Chip Childs, President and Chief Executi.
On its third quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Oct. 28, 2026, Sprouts (SFM -22.58%) announced a national pricing reset to revive slowing customer traffic. Declining transaction counts and shrinking profit margins show that specialty grocery stores aren't immune to tightening consumer budgets amid persistent inflation.
Three things management said on the call stand out, as Jack Sinclair wraps up his tenure as CEO this year, and Nick Konat prepares to step into the role in 2027.
1. Price Cuts Are Necessary to Reverse Falling Customer TrafficShoppers are buying fewer items as elevated food costs strain household budgets, driving store transactions down. Management is lowering prices on key staples across the country to protect market share rather than holding margins high.
Our efforts to date have not been enough, and our current pricing strategy has not delivered against that goal. This means making more meaningful price investments across a broader range of products. To that end, we are rebuilding our pricing strategy, and we will roll it out nationally in January, when Sprouts is most top of mind for healthy solutions.
-- Nick Konat, President, Chief Operating Officer, and incoming Chief Executive Officer2. New Store Openings Remain the Primary Engine for Long-Term GrowthSales at established locations are slumping, but newly opened stores, particularly this year's "vintage," which refers to the year a group of stores were opened, continue to beat internal performance targets. Expanding the physical store footprint gives the company its clearest path to increase total sales over time.
Our 2026 vintage is outperforming our expectations, and our recent vintages are comping positively, reinforcing our confidence in the long-term unit growth opportunity.
-- Curtis Valentine, Chief Financial Officer3. Expanding In-House Distribution Will Help Restore Profit MarginsManaging product freshness and reducing spoilage depend heavily on controlling the supply chain from warehouse to shelf. Taking direct control of shipping private-label goods reduces distribution expenses and protects long-term earnings.
Supply chain will remain a significant self-help lever to drive profitability. Greater control over freshness, service levels, inventory and shrink will help us respond faster to changes in demand and improve execution over time. We are now planning the next phase of self-distribution, with a selection of Sprouts Brand products representing a logical next step as we look to expand the benefits of our network.
-- Nick Konat, President, Chief Operating Officer, and incoming Chief Executive OfficerLooking AheadCustomer traffic is softening, but executive leadership isn't standing still while sales slip. To protect market share, management is accepting near-term gross margin compression (the profit left after paying direct product costs) to lower prices on essentials and protect its customer proposition.
Rather than wait over a longer period of time, we're acting with conviction now because we believe in the long-term health of the model. We're not going to let the customer fade away from us.
-- Nick Konat, President, Chief Operating Officer, and incoming Chief Executive OfficerThe business retains key structural advantages, including strong store-level unit economics, expanding private-label product lines, and growing digital sales. Management is focusing on pricing discipline, inventory shrink control, and supply chain expansion to rebuild profitability during the transition.
Over time, we believe stronger sales performance, together with expanded self-distribution, improved retail media, vendor partnership, sourcing initiatives, and continued cost savings, can help us rebuild profitability and create long-term shareholder value.

AST SPACEMOBILE, INC. CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT - COMPLAINT ALLEGATION SUMMARY:
The complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material facts about the company's business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, Defendants failed to disclose to investors that: (1) AST's increasing capital requirements were likely to increase the company's debt load and share dilution with greater frequency and at greater scale than Defendants had signaled to investors; (2) accordingly, AST had overstated the sufficiency of the company's capital and liquidity position to achieve its strategic and business goals; (3) AST likewise overstated the durability of its competitive position in the satellite D2C market; (4) even following the EchoStar Transaction, Defendants continued overstating AST's competitive position in the satellite D2C market; (5) AST was experiencing slow user adoption in the U.S. and Japan; (6) the foregoing was likely to have a significant negative impact on AST's business and financial prospects; and (7) as a result, Defendants' public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.
Why did AST's Stock Drop?
Between September 8, 2025 and July 15, 2026, a series of stock downgrades and company disclosures caused AST's stock price to fall significantly. Specifically, on January 7, 2026, Scotiabank downgraded AST to sell, citing, among other things, significant competition from SpaceX's Starlink, slow customer adoption, and delays in launching AST's satellites. Then, on July 15, 2026, AST issued a press release "announc[ing] the pricing of $1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of 1.625% convertible senior notes due 2034". Following these disclosures, AST's Class A common stock price fell $11.30 per share, or 17.04%, to close at $55.01 per share on July 16, 2026.

Nubank is the largest digital bank in Latin America — now it's turning its eyes towards the US.
Cristina Junqueira, the co-founder and US CEO of Nubank, sat down with Dan DeFrancesco, executive editor and anchor of Business Insider Today, at Business Insider's The Long Play, to talk about the digital bank's expansion on Thursday.
How it beganSince its founding in 2013, the fintech bank has pushed for financial inclusivity in Latin America by providing access to banking and financial services through its mobile app. Headquartered in Junqueira's home country of Brazil, the simple, low-cost, and digital-first approach discarded the need for physical banks, which are at times harder to reach in parts of Latin America — a key part of its success in the region.
It all started with a purple credit card with no fees.
"We had this vision that data, design, technology, completely transforms people's relationship with money," she said.
Junqueira previously worked as an executive at Itaú Unibanco, the largest private-sector financial giant in the region, also headquartered in Brazil and now a direct competitor of Nubank. Today, it is the largest company in Brazil based on primary banking relationships, and two-thirds of the country's adult population are customers, she said.
Entering the US marketThe digital bank is set to expand into the US after opening a branch in September, operating under the name Nu. This comes after expansion into Mexico and Colombia in 2021.
"We always saw the thesis as a global one," she said. "Everywhere in the world, people want more convenience. People want more transparency. People want simpler experiences managing their finances. People still get like paralyzed by complexity through their financial lives."
Entering America's crowded banking sector is a risk — but for Junqueira, entering no country goes without risk.
"The US is a very hard market, but I haven't found easy ones either," she said. "Building a bank is hard everywhere, so you might as well go for the biggest payout."
In the US, she said getting a bank account is still "surprisingly hard" and normally requires you to go to a physical branch, while Nu offers an easier alternative to that, she said. Foreign digital-first banks have tried to bring their platforms to the US before and failed. German fintech N26 and UK fintech Monzo both tried to expand their businesses to the US, and ultimately withdrew from the market.
The American consumer is unique, which is why Junqueira aims to take a different approach than her competitors to earn trust and scale the platform. She said most other companies started with debit cards, while Nubank is the first to start with credit cards.
Starting people out with a debit card "requires you to build a lot of trust with those customers because you're asking them to deposit their money with you," she said. "In our case, all the countries that we started, we started with credit. This is a very different relationship because you're the one trusting the consumers," she said.
Some Latin American immigrants who already live in the US are responding positively to Nu as it enters the market.
"I've been positively surprised not only by the amount of people, sure, but Brazilians, Mexicans, and others are here and have been waiting for this," she said.
Junqueira also pointed to emerging AI technology and how it could impact the company and the banking sector. She said the company is "heavily leveraging AI," integrating it in credit underwriting, customer support, and product development.
Brazil's presidential election on Sunday made headlines as President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva unexpectedly won a runoff against Flávio Bolsonaro, who fled the country to the US after he was under investigation for alleged corruption and money laundering. When asked about how she reacted to the big market sell-off in response, Junqueira said volatility is part of operating in a country like Brazil, but having 13 years of experience in the country has helped them learn they are going to run the company for the long run.
"We got to focus on the fundamentals, and the reality is, last quarter we turned over a billion dollars in net income," she said. "Markets don't like surprises, right? But we manage our business regardless of what happens."
Building a brandThe founder said one of the hardest things Nu will have to do in the US is build a brand that connects with users on an "emotional" level. Junqueira's dream scenario, five years from now, is to find evidence of that connection in the US.
One of the ways Nubank is attempting to spread its brand is through a recently signed deal with the Mercedes F1 team. Junqueira pointed to fans' passion for specific teams, as they follow the championship around the world, which was part of why they wanted to take part.
"We got a lot of visibility out of that, and we're working with them on brand activations," she said. "We're producing very interesting activations for consumers that help us amplify the branding fast, and that really help us bring this partnership to life."
Another huge part of the digital bank's brand is gender equality. In 2021, Nubank set a goal for 50% of Nubank's leadership to be women by 2025. Junqueira said today that the company's workforce is over 45% women, with many in leadership positions. In the four countries where they operate, all top leaders are women. Junqueira said the biggest challenge of being an executive while raising a family is not having the flexibility to juggle the demands of both roles.
"The reality is, as hard as we have to work, I think the hardest part is not having enough flexibility," she said. "It has been wonderful for us to have that type of opportunity, for us to really be able to tap into this part of the workforce that often struggles to have this type of career opportunity."
Correction — October 29, 2026: An earlier version of this article misstated Junqueira's title; she is the co-founder and CEO of US Nubank. The article also has been updated to note that the top leaders in the four countries where Nubank operates are women.

Now, as she leads Nu's emerging US business, she is taking on its biggest challenge yet: breaking into America's crowded banking market.

BlackBerry Shifts Gears With Coretura DealMobileye Global NASDAQ: MBLY reported third-quarter revenue of $492 million, down about 2% from $504 million a year earlier, while adjusted operating income rose 20% to $89 million. The advanced driver-assistance technology company said EyeQ shipment demand continued to exceed expectations, helping it raise its full-year revenue and adjusted operating income outlook.
CEO and President Amnon Shashua said Mobileye’s year-to-date revenue increased 8% year over year, adjusted operating income climbed 42%, and operating cash flow exceeded $300 million. He attributed the company’s performance to demand for its EyeQ products, with shipments rising 11% through the third quarter even as global automotive production declined slightly.

Forget Tesla: These 2 Earnings Reports Reveal Where the Auto Market Is HeadingChinese OEM mix alone reduced year-over-year average selling price by about $1, Shemesh said. The company said Chinese automakers are selecting Mobileye products to support export expansion, particularly in Latin America, South Asia and Eastern Europe. Management also cited increased ADAS fitment by legacy automakers responding to Chinese competition in emerging markets.
Mobileye expects more than 4.5 million chips to be delivered to China during 2026, with demand remaining sustained through the year. The company said it expects full-year EyeQ shipments to rise about 10% at the midpoint compared with 2025.
Higher memory costs added approximately $7 million of revenue in the quarter through a customer pass-through arrangement, but generated no gross margin. Shemesh said the higher SuperVision volume and memory-cost pass-through together reduced corporate average gross margin by roughly 100 basis points.
Guidance raised as SuperVision deliveries outperform Mobileye raised its full-year revenue midpoint by $13 million to approximately $2.008 billion, narrowing its outlook to a range of $1.995 billion to $2.02 billion. The guidance implies annual revenue growth of 5% to 7%.
The company also raised the midpoint of its adjusted operating income outlook to $400 million from $395 million, with a new range of $380 million to $420 million. The outlook includes approximately $190 million from Israel’s R&D incentive at the midpoint.
Third-quarter adjusted operating margin was 18%, up about three percentage points from a year earlier. The Israeli R&D credit contributed $51 million of contra-R&D expense during the quarter. Mobileye expects full-year non-GAAP operating expenses of about $910 million at the midpoint, including $180 million to $200 million of R&D credits. First-nine-month operating cash flow totaled $303 million. Cash equivalents, marketable securities and deposits stood at $1.5 billion. The increased outlook primarily reflects stronger-than-expected EyeQ5 High-based SuperVision deliveries. Mobileye delivered more than 15,000 SuperVision systems in the third quarter and nearly 60,000 through the first nine months, already modestly above its original full-year expectation. It now expects about 65,000 SuperVision systems for the full year.
However, management continued to forecast lower fourth-quarter volume, citing expected inventory adjustments and component-shortage-related inventory building. At the midpoint of its annual outlook, Mobileye expects fourth-quarter revenue of $450 million and adjusted operating income of roughly $60 million. EyeQ orders currently point to 8.8 million to 8.9 million units in the fourth quarter, compared with 9.5 million in the third quarter.
Company outlined higher-content ADAS opportunity Management said its future growth opportunity rests on both broader ADAS adoption and greater content per vehicle. Shashua said Mobileye is expanding beyond front-camera perception systems as automakers pursue lower-cost hands-free highway functions and more advanced point-to-point driving features.
Three automakers—Volkswagen, Mahindra and a large U.S. OEM—have selected Mobileye’s Surround ADAS solution based on EyeQ6 High, according to Shashua. Stellantis, a top-five Asian automaker and a top-10 Japanese OEM have selected an alternative approach that adds Mobileye’s road-experience management, or REM, capabilities to existing EyeQ6 Lite programs.
Nimrod Nehushtan, Mobileye’s executive vice president of corporate strategy, said cloud-enhanced ADAS with REM can add “a few tens of dollars per EyeQ,” depending on volume and adoption rates. He said Surround ADAS carries roughly twice the average selling price of base ADAS, while SuperVision is priced above $1,000 per vehicle and Chauffeur is priced at about $2,500 per vehicle.
Management expects Surround ADAS and cloud-enhanced ADAS production launches to be primarily 2028 events. For 2027, Shemesh said the company expects EyeQ ASPs to be relatively flat, with potentially a moderate decrease depending on software-content mix.
Volkswagen programs and robotaxi plans progress Shashua said Mobileye’s nominated Volkswagen Group programs—including base ADAS, Surround ADAS, SuperVision led by Porsche, Chauffeur led by Audi, and the ID. Buzz program with Moia—are operating on production hardware and production-intent vehicle platforms. The company is focused on software hardening ahead of planned launches across multiple vehicle models in 2027 and 2028.
Regarding Volkswagen’s CARIAD software unit, Shashua said CARIAD’s partner selection process does not affect Mobileye’s existing production programs. He said CARIAD’s future architecture decisions would relate to longer-term opportunities rather than currently nominated Mobileye programs.
In robotaxis, Mobileye said it has integrated Moovit’s rider-experience and fleet-orchestration stack and has begun initial testing in Tel Aviv. The company said it is seeking a vehicle-platform arrangement that could support rapid scaling after initial commercialization.
Shashua said Mobileye plans to deploy 100 vehicles in one city in 2027, with Orlando under consideration and Miami potentially following. The company is working with partners on operational infrastructure, including fleet management, maintenance, warehouses and parking facilities. It also said it is working with OEMs on a Level 4-ready platform that could be purchased at scale beginning in 2028 and beyond.
Mobileye said its long-term robotaxi sensor strategy emphasizes cameras and imaging radar, with Shashua stating that the company believes lidar may not be needed over time. The company also disclosed that it has repurchased approximately $33 million of shares since launching its buyback program in April, at an average price of $9.36 per share.

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Reddit, Inc. (NYSE: RDDT) today announced financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. Reddit's complete financial results and management commentary can be found in its shareholder letter on Reddit's Investor Relations website at https://investor.redditinc.com. “Our business is growing because the Reddit experience captures the human experience in a way that no other platform can replicate,” said Steve Huffman, Founder and CEO of Reddit. “Surpassin.
Reddit has long attracted millions of users to its site through Google, with many even appending the word “Reddit” to their search queries for better answers. But as search traffic dries up amid the shift to AI-powered search, Reddit is rethinking its relationship with the open internet. In its third-quarter earnings call on Thursday, the company announced it’s transitioning to a primarily “logged-in experience.”
The move is designed to protect its data from AI scraping, allowing the company to instead forge lucrative licensing deals with model providers. But just as important, such a shift could help Reddit to increase its revenue even as it faces daily active user declines in its largest market, the U.S.
Overall, Reddit’s global daily active users were flat quarter-over-quarter in Q3, reaching 130.3 million, while U.S. daily active users dropped from 53.2 million in Q2 to 50.7 million in Q3 and were down 2% year-over-year.
Image Credits:Reddit The company is not alone in seeing such declines; the shift to an AI-centered web has impacted most websites and publishers by now, leading to fewer click-throughs, as AI summaries provide answers that don’t require website visits and Google’s traditional “ten blue links” have reduced relevance. (The change is now even impacting Google’s bottom line, its earnings revealed.)
But at Reddit’s scale, the numbers associated with such a decline are enormous. The comapny said search traffic referrals dropped by more than 1 million referrals on average per week in October. It warned that if the trend continues, daily active users could decline to a low-double-digit percentage by next quarter. (To play that out: a hypothetical 10%–12% decline could bring Reddit to roughly 115 million–117 million daily actives, down from 130.3 million in Q3. That’s a huge drop!)
At the same time, Reddit has gotten significantly better at monetizing its audience even as its growth weakens. Revenue increased 53% year-over-year to $895 million, ahead of Wall Street’s expectations of about $875 million. Net income rose 74% to $283 million. Advertising revenue grew 54% to $847 million while non-advertising revenue, which includes its AI data-licensing business, grew 35% year-over-year to $48 million.
And despite a 2% year-over-year decline in U.S. daily users, Reddit’s average revenue per daily active user in the U.S. rose 53% to $13.82. Globally, average revenue per daily active user increased 36% year-over-year to $6.87.
Shifting to a logged-in experience could boost those numbers even higher because logged-in users are typically worth more to advertisers.
Unlike the logged-out users who often find their way to the site via search, logged-in users provide more signals about their interests and behaviors, which helps to better target and personalize ads.
Those same signals would also help Reddit provide a more personalized experience to its users, which includes personalized feeds, recommendations of new communities to subscribe to, pushes to vote, comment, participate, and more. (This also includes pushing recommendations to its new algorithmic “For You” feed, announced yesterday, which will combine posts from communities users belong to alongside other recommendations based on their interests.)
ScreenshotImage Credits:Reddit Still, a change of this magnitude could be the canary in the coalmine for the open web.
“I don’t know about you, but as someone whose life has been defined by the open internet, it’s a big change for me,” wrote Reddit co-founder and CEO Steve Huffman, in a post published on Reddit’s site. “But I’ve come to the conclusion that this is the right decision for our platform and the right decision for our business,” he said.
The company notes that the shift to the logged-in experience will not be an overnight change; it will first run tests in select markets outside the U.S. in the fourth quarter. It doesn’t yet have a timeline for when the change will be rolled out to all its users worldwide. It also acknowledged that access to a logged-out front page is important.
Plus, Reddit pointed out that being logged in doesn’t mean having to give up anonymity, nor will it remove its option to browse anonymously through its “incognito mode” experience, which is being rebuilt.
There are still plenty of questions that are unanswered, particularly around where the boundaries should be between logged-in and logged-out experiences,” Hoffman wrote. “This is a big evolution for Reddit, and not one we’re taking lightly. But I believe it’s the right next step for the platform and for our future.”

(RDDT.N), opens new tab CEO Steve Huffman outlined a plan on Thursday to make signing-in mandatory for most content as the company grapples with data scraping and declining search referral traffic in recent months.
Huffman warned that total daily active unique visitors (DAUq) could fall by a low double-digit percentage in the fourth quarter from about 130 million currently, if search referral traffic continues to decline further. Shares of the company fell more than 9% in extended trading.

Search engine referrals to Reddit decreased by more than one million on average each week during October, he said. In the US, its biggest market by revenue, DAUq fell 2% to 50.7 million.

The social media company's trove of user-generated discussions is a prized asset, offering AI startups data to train models and helping marketers get insights for ads.
"We will continue licensing our corpus intentionally, but those commercial deals come with guardrails that protect our users and our business," Huffman said.
Reddit's 53% revenue growth slowed sequentially in the quarter ended September 30, but it is still better than rivals including Snap

(META.O), opens new tab in a tough market.
Huffman said Reddit is enhancing its platform for logged-in users, which make up over 80% of the monetization, by delivering more relevant advertisements and through product improvements like increased video content and better personalization.
The company plans to test the logged-in-only experience in select markets outside of US in the fourth quarter to assess its impact before wider implementation, the shift that would end two decades of allowing anyone to browse Reddit freely without an account.
The firm's third-quarter revenue of $895 million exceeded LSEG-compiled analysts' average estimate of $878.4 million. Its revenue forecast for the current quarter of $1 billion to $1.03 billion is largely in line with estimates.
It expects fourth-quarter adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization to be between $480 million and $510 million, versus estimates of $512.2 million.

Ecommerce giant Amazon (AMZN) leads another packed afternoon full of earnings. $201 billion in quarterly still wasn't enough to meet Wall Street's bar for the Mag 7 giant, which posted misses in key areas.
Reddit (RDDT -3.79%) grew third-quarter revenue by 53% to $895 million even as its U.S. daily users shrank 2% from a year ago. Shares fell about 10% in early after-hours trading. All of Reddit's user growth came from outside the U.S., so in its most valuable market this quarter's growth came from earning more from each user, not adding new ones.

NYSE · As of 4:00 PM ET 10/29/26
What It MeansU.S. revenue rose 50% despite a smaller audience, so all of that growth came from making more money from each user. That lever is powerful, but it has a ceiling when the base keeps shrinking.
The leak is in logged-out users, who fell 4% in the U.S. These are often people who land on Reddit from a search such as Google's, so the traffic depends on a search engine Reddit doesn't control. Logged-in U.S. users, which the release calls its most engaged and monetizable, grew only 1%. The release says app users grew from last quarter, but it gives no app figures to back that up.
Profit is not the worry here. Total costs grew slower than revenue, and fourth-quarter guidance calls for $1.00 billion to $1.03 billion in revenue, above this quarter's $895 million. Advertisers clearly still want to reach Reddit's users, and the open question is how many users there will be.
What to Watch NextWatch U.S. daily active uniques next quarter, since another decline would leave pricing to carry the whole U.S. story. Also watch whether Reddit backs up its claim about app users with real numbers.

Canada's first regulated digital-asset-backed lender opens a waitlist for Bitcoin-backed mortgages, expected to roll out in Q1 2027, so long-term holders can put their Bitcoin toward a home instead of selling it. APX Lending will be the first bitcoin backed mortgage provider in Canada.
, /PRNewswire/ -- For a growing number of Canadians, Bitcoin is one of the most valuable things they own. A home is the other. Until now, getting one has often meant giving up the other one. APX Lending ("APX") today announced plans to bring Bitcoin-backed mortgages to Canada, with a rollout expected in Q1 2027. A waitlist is now open at apxlending.com/bitcoin-backed-mortgages.
A Choice Bitcoin Holders Shouldn't Have to Make
Today, a Bitcoin holder who wants to buy a home usually has two options. They can sell their Bitcoin to fund a down payment, giving up their long-term position and potentially triggering capital gains tax on the sale. Or they can wait on the sidelines, because many traditional lenders still don't know how to treat digital assets as part of a borrower's financial picture.
Clients Are Already Using Their Digital Assets to Buy Property
APX clients have already used digital-asset-backed loans to put money toward real estate projects, pay down high-interest debt and finance their businesses. Offering Bitcoin-backed mortgages are the natural next step: a product built for the single largest purchase most people will ever make.
The opportunity in Canada is growing fast. One in four Canadians (25%) now owns crypto, up from 10% in 2023, according to a 2026 survey by the Ontario Securities Commission. In the U.S., crypto mortgage lender Milo has passed $100 million in crypto mortgage originations, including a single $12 million loan. Bitcoin-backed lending market is projected to reach $1 trillion within the next five to 10 years.
What APX Is Building
APX's Bitcoin-backed mortgages are being designed to let borrowers pledge their Bitcoin as collateral toward a home purchase, so they can keep their holdings and their exposure to Bitcoin's long-term potential. Full details, including eligibility, loan-to-value ratios, rates and terms, will be shared ahead of launch. People who join the waitlist will be the first to hear as the rollout opens.
"Canadians shouldn't have to choose between owning Bitcoin and owning a home," said Andrei Poliakov, Founder and CEO of APX Lending. "We hear it from clients all the time. They've held through the cycles, their Bitcoin has become a real part of their net worth, and when it's time to buy a house, they're told to sell it. We're building Bitcoin-backed mortgages so people can put that conviction to work instead of cashing it out."
Built on Years of Infrastructure
Adding "mortgage" to a product page is easy. Building a mortgage product that holds up against a volatile asset, over a longer time horizon and with larger amounts on the line, is a different problem. It's one APX has spent years building the foundations to solve, from choosing to operate within a regulated framework early on to developing the systems that now power its own products and its partners' lending programs.
That infrastructure includes:
Regulatory framework: APX was the first digital-asset-backed lender approved by the Canadian securities regulators and is registered with both FINTRAC and FinCEN. Institutional-grade custody and insurance: client collateral is held in segregated BitGo Trust cold-storage wallets, never rehypothecated and protected by insurance coverage of up to $250 million. On-chain transparency: clients can independently verify their collateral on-chain 24/7 through the APX platform. Automated collateral and risk management: APX continuously monitors prices and loan LTVs, including its 90/85 Standard, which liquidates only enough collateral to bring LTV from 90% back to 85%, preserving as much of a client's holdings as possible. Security and operational controls: APX's SOC 2-audited controls support the systems and safeguards needed to run digital-asset lending reliably and at scale. Bringing Bitcoin into the Real Estate Market
Homeownership has long been one of the clearest measures of financial security in Canada. As more Canadians hold a meaningful share of their wealth in Bitcoin, the products that help them buy a home need to catch up. APX's mission is to bring digital assets and traditional finance closer together.
"A home is the most important thing most people will ever finance," said Poliakov. "That's exactly why it has to be done with the same standards people expect from a bank: regulated, transparent and built to protect the borrower. That's the bar we've held ourselves to from day one and it's the bar we'll bring to bitcoin backed mortgages."
Bitcoin-backed mortgages are expected to be available to eligible borrowers in supported jurisdictions beginning in Q1 2027. Homebuyers can join the waitlist today at apxlending.com/bitcoin-backed-mortgages.

Donation supports Remote Area Medical’s mission to bring high-quality dental care to underserved communities through advanced 3D printing technology. | Source: 3D Systems Inc.
ROCK HILL, S.C., Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 3D Systems (NYSE: DDD) today announced the donation of a NextDent® 300 MultiJet 3D printer to Remote Area Medical (RAM®), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free, quality dental, vision, and medical care to underserved and uninsured individuals in the United States. The donation supports RAM’s mission to eliminate barriers to essential healthcare by expanding its ability to provide customized, high-quality dentures to patients in need, at no cost.
For individuals without access to affordable dental care, missing teeth can significantly affect their ability to eat, speak, and engage confidently in everyday life. Yet the cost of restorative dental treatment, including dentures, can place these essential services out of reach. Since 1985, RAM has worked to eliminate these barriers, delivering free healthcare services to more than one million patients across the United States. In 2025 alone, the organization served 32,770 patients and provided more than $16.6 million in free healthcare through the efforts of over 17,000 volunteers.
After learning about RAM’s mission and its use of 3D Systems’ NextDent 5100 platform to provide dentures for underserved patients, 3D Systems CEO Jeff Graves saw an opportunity to further support RAM’s efforts. The donation of the Company’s new NextDent 300 MultiJet 3D printer will help RAM expand its digital denture manufacturing capabilities, enabling faster production of high-quality dentures for patients in need.
The NextDent 300, powered by 3D Systems’ MultiJet 3D Printing technology, enables the production of highly realistic, durable monolithic dentures, with teeth and gums printed together as a single piece. By streamlining traditionally labor-intensive denture manufacturing processes, the solution helps reduce production time while delivering the precision, fit, and natural aesthetics patients deserve.
The donated printer system is now installed and operational at RAM’s facility in Knoxville, Tennessee, where the organization is already using the technology to produce dentures for members of the community. Once RAM’s newest mobile dental laboratory is completed, the NextDent 300 will be integrated into the mobile unit, expanding the organization’s ability to bring advanced digital denture production directly to underserved communities across the country.
“Remote Area Medical has an extraordinary record of bringing essential healthcare to people who need it most,” said Jeff Graves, CEO of 3D Systems. “We are proud to support that work with the NextDent 300, which enables the production of high-quality monolithic dentures more efficiently. The ability to eat comfortably, speak clearly, and smile with confidence can have a profound impact on a person’s quality of life. We hope this donation helps RAM extend that impact to even more patients.”
“A Mirror Moment lasts only a few seconds, but its impact lasts a lifetime. It’s the first time in years someone smiles without covering their mouth, with the confidence to apply for a job, share a meal with family, or simply laugh out loud. 3 Small-Cap Stocks With Catalysts That Could Put Them in the SpotlightPagaya Technologies NASDAQ: PGY reported record third-quarter GAAP net income of nearly $50 million as network volume rose 29% year over year to $3.6 billion and the company maintained largely flat operating expenses.
Chief Executive Officer Gal Krubiner said the company’s cost discipline helped incremental growth flow to the bottom line. Chief Financial Officer Jon Dobres said core operating expenses were $45 million, down $2 million from a year earlier and essentially flat for seven consecutive quarters. Operating income increased 41% to $113 million, while adjusted EBITDA rose 22% to $130 million, representing a 33% margin.
Get Pagaya Technologies alerts:
This AI Lender Has Big Upside Potential—And Big Risks GAAP net income increased 121% from the third quarter of 2025, producing a 13% net income margin compared with 6% a year earlier, Dobres said.
Higher rates pressured fee margins The company said higher interest rates increased its cost of capital during the quarter, pressuring fee revenue less production costs, or FRLPC, as a percentage of network volume. FRLPC increased 5% year over year to $146 million but declined to 4.1% of network volume, at the low end of Pagaya’s 4% to 5% target range.
The Next Market Leaders? 5 Growth Stocks to Watch in 2026Dobres said the decline reflected the elevated two-year Treasury rate. In response, Pagaya raised annual percentage rates by 100 basis points for personal loans and 140 basis points for auto loans during September and October. Management expects FRLPC as a percentage of volume to begin rising toward the end of the fourth quarter and move closer to the midpoint of its target range in 2027.
Executives said they had not seen a material change in consumer activation rates or credit performance after the pricing changes. Krubiner said the company’s personal-loan borrowers had average annual income of about $120,000, while auto borrowers originated during the quarter had average annual income of about $88,000.
Credit performance remained in line with expectations across the company’s verticals, according to management. Dobres said recent KBRA surveillance reports upgraded 63 securitization tranches with no downgrades.
New bank partners and expanding pipeline Pagaya added Citizens Financial Group as a personal-loan partner and FNBO as a home-improvement point-of-sale financing partner during the quarter. The additions brought the company to six new partner onboardings over the past three quarters, exceeding its annual target of two to four partners.
Krubiner said banks are increasingly turning to Pagaya to offer lending products without committing substantial balance-sheet capacity or undertaking lengthy technology development projects. He said Pagaya can help a bank bring a product to market in six to nine months, compared with an estimated two to three years for a bank to build such capabilities internally.
Management said Pagaya entered the fourth quarter with its largest partner pipeline to date. Krubiner said the pipeline grew more than 50% year over year and included larger financial institutions, including what he described as major and “mega” banks. Sanjiv Das, Pagaya’s president, said the company would maintain its guidance of adding two to four partners annually because the timing of partner decisions is not entirely within Pagaya’s control.
Das said newer partners can now access multiple Pagaya products through its application programming interface at launch, compared with a more gradual, one-product-at-a-time approach in the past. He also said the company typically takes about 12 months to prudently ramp conversion rates and volume from a newly activated partner.
Applications, auto growth and funding activity Application volume increased 42% year over year to $377 billion, while conversion remained around 1%. Dobres said conversion declined slightly as the company onboarded new partners and product-driven volume, but management views application growth as a leading indicator of future originations.
Personal loans remained Pagaya’s largest asset class, while auto grew faster, Dobres said. Auto top-of-funnel application volume increased 40% from a year earlier. Das said the company’s Counter Offer and Dual Look products helped lending partners provide borrowers their full requested loan amount 70% of the time, based on Pagaya’s internal analysis.
The company also highlighted growth in its Affiliate Optimizer Engine, which added Experian and Credit Karma during the quarter. Das said partners using the platform have seen an average 60% increase in issued volume compared with the prior year. Pagaya has completed approximately 70 Direct Marketing Engine campaigns and remains on track to reach a $500 million annualized volume goal by year-end, he said.
On funding, Pagaya raised $3 billion through asset-backed securities during the quarter, including $1.8 billion in personal-loan securitizations and $1.2 billion in auto securitizations. It also announced more than $2 billion in committed capital over the next 24 months through a $700 million auto forward-flow agreement with Neuberger Berman, a $700 million variable funding note and an $850 million revolving personal-loan securitization.
Dobres said Pagaya’s investor network expanded to more than 180 unique investors. The company’s most recent personal-loan securitization saw spreads tighten by more than 20 basis points, he said.
Full-year outlook raised Pagaya raised its full-year GAAP net-income outlook for the third time this year. The company now expects 2026 network volume of $12.725 billion to $13.025 billion, revenue and other income of $1.45 billion to $1.5 billion, adjusted EBITDA of $465 million to $485 million, and GAAP net income of $162 million to $182 million.
For the fourth quarter, management expects seasonally lower network volume than in the third quarter. Dobres noted that the period will be the first full quarter without Klarna, which contributed approximately $330 million of volume in the third quarter but was not material to FRLPC, EBITDA or profit. Excluding Klarna, Pagaya expects a seasonal volume decline of roughly 5% to 6%, compared with a 9% decline in the prior year.

Key Takeaways GE Vernova beat Q3 earnings estimates, raised 2026 guidance and doubled its share buyback program to $20B.GEV expects 2026 gas equipment order pricing per kilowatt to rise about 50% over 2025, supporting margins.GEV's $9B Trench deal targets grid expansion, while Electrification's equipment backlog reached $42B.
GE Vernova Inc. (GEV - Free Report) emphasized accelerating gas turbine demand, improving equipment pricing and expanding grid infrastructure opportunities during its third-quarter 2026 earnings call. Management highlighted stronger margins, a growing backlog and the planned Trench Group acquisition as important drivers of future growth.
The company reported third-quarter earnings of $4.81 per share, exceeding the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $4.03. Revenues reached $12.64 billion, surpassing the $12.10 billion consensus estimate. Management also raised its full-year outlook.
GEV Sees Further Upside in Gas Power MarginsCEO Scott Strazik emphasized that Power's margin expansion is entering a new phase as higher-priced turbine orders begin converting into revenues. The segment achieved a 21.4% EBITDA margin despite seasonally lower services activity.
During the Goldman Sachs Q&A, Strazik explained that third-quarter shipments included equipment ordered at improved prices beginning in late 2024. He indicated that second-half 2026 margins provide a reasonable starting point for evaluating 2027 performance.
CFO Kenneth Parks added that productivity improvements accompanied the production ramp to 5 gigawatts quarterly. Management expects full-year 2026 gas equipment order pricing per kilowatt to be approximately 50% above 2025 levels.
GE Vernova Expands Grid Capabilities With TrenchStrazik described the planned $9 billion acquisition of Trench Group as a strategic move to strengthen high-voltage equipment capabilities and improve supply-chain control. The transaction is expected to close in late 2027.
Trench is projected to generate approximately $2 billion in revenues by 2028, with an adjusted EBITDA margin near 36%. Parks expects annualized cost synergies of $50 million to $100 million by 2030.
During the Wolfe Research Q&A, Strazik emphasized that internalizing critical components, including transformer bushings, could improve delivery reliability and create commercial opportunities. Management also identified potential expansion across India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
GEV Targets Higher Electrification ProfitabilityElectrification continued benefiting from grid modernization and data center investment. Its equipment backlog reached $42 billion, while quarterly EBITDA margin improved to 19.1%.
Strazik highlighted growing demand for new technologies, including medium-voltage uninterruptible power supplies and solid-state transformers. The company secured its first hyperscaler order for its MV-UPS technology during the quarter.
Responding to Evercore ISI's question about margins potentially exceeding 30%, Strazik expressed confidence in substantial annual improvement. He indicated that the upcoming Capital Markets Day would establish longer-term financial targets through 2030.
GE Vernova Raises ’26 Guidance and Expands BuybacksParks raised 2026 revenue guidance to $46.5 billion-$47.5 billion from $45.5 billion-$46.5 billion. Adjusted EBITDA margin expectations increased to 13.5%-14.5%, while free cash flow guidance rose to $16 billion-$17 billion.
The company generated $5.4 billion in quarterly free cash flow, supported substantially by customer down payments. Its backlog reached $197 billion, providing visibility into future equipment deliveries and services activity.
Management also doubled the share repurchase authorization to $20 billion. Parks said the Trench acquisition would be financed through approximately equal portions of cash and debt while maintaining an investment-grade balance sheet.
GEV Maintains Caution on Wind RecoveryWind achieved positive quarterly EBITDA of $72 million, reflecting improved onshore services profitability and reduced offshore project costs. However, management continues to anticipate full-year segment losses of $400 million-$500 million.
During the Bank of America Q&A, Strazik acknowledged improving strategic flexibility but emphasized uncertainty surrounding the U.S. onshore wind market. Permitting delays and tariffs continue affecting customer decisions.
Strazik indicated that completing offshore project commitments and assessing domestic demand through 2027 remain priorities before determining the business's longer-term strategic direction.
GE Vernova Prioritizes Execution and CapacityManagement's overarching message centered on converting strong demand into profitable deliveries while expanding manufacturing capacity. Investments in automation, artificial intelligence and research remain central to productivity improvements.
Strazik also emphasized disciplined capital allocation and continued execution across all three segments. The expanding equipment and services backlog remains central to management's expectations for sustained margin improvement.
What GEV's Zacks Rank and Style Scores IndicateGEV currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold), reflecting a neutral near-term earnings estimate revision outlook. Its Growth Score of A and Momentum Score of A indicate favorable growth characteristics and price momentum, while its Value Score of D points to comparatively weaker valuation attractiveness.
The stock's VGM Score of A reflects a strong combined assessment of value, growth and momentum characteristics. However, the Zacks framework generally favors combining strong Style Scores with a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) or 2 (Buy). GEV's current Hold rank warrants a measured interpretation, particularly because subsequent analyst earnings estimate revisions could change its Zacks Rank following the quarterly results.

Long-term agreements and NAND supply-demand have come up on each of the past three calls and are central again tonight: Datacenter revenue jumped 61% sequentially to $4.80 billion, so analysts will press on how much of the December guide of $12.2 billion to $12.6 billion is locked under LTAs versus spot pricing. Consumer revenue down 39% year over year sharpens that same question.

The guide tips it: $12.2 billion to $12.6 billion for Q2 implies another double-digit step up from a quarter that already topped estimates, with 85.0% gross margin showing the NAND pricing question raised before the report answered in the company's favor. Quick Read:

Explosive Growth: Revenue surged 378% year over year, while EPS jumped an extraordinary 3,958%, according to the initial earnings figures. Sequentially, revenue increased 23% and EPS climbed 26%.
Despite the impressive results, Sandisk shares are falling 4% after hours, suggesting investors may be looking for even stronger performance following the company’s massive rally.

Sandisk heads into Q1 earnings tonight with shares down 20.95% over the past month, despite delivering six consecutive quarters of earnings beats.
Wall Street expects $10.68 billion in revenue, near the top of management’s $10.30 billion to $10.80 billion guidance range.
The biggest question is whether soaring NAND prices, stronger Datacenter demand, and new long-term supply agreements can sustain Sandisk’s record gross margins.
Management believes its new NBM agreements, backed by $16.5 billion in guarantees, could help eliminate the memory industry’s notorious boom-and-bust cycles.
With shares trading at just 18x earnings and offering a 5.66% free cash flow yield, stronger guidance could convince investors Sandisk deserves a higher valuation. A disappointing outlook, however, could deepen the stock’s recent selloff.

Full CoverageThe story so far
Sandisk (NASDAQ:SNDK | SNDK Price Prediction) is expected to report fiscal first-quarter results at 4:05 PM ET today. The stock has pulled back sharply, which makes this report a test of whether the AI storage boom still has room to run.
Record Margins Meet a Cooling Stock
Last quarter, Sandisk posted non-GAAP EPS of $39.25 against a $33.28 consensus. Revenue reached $8,965 million, up 372% year over year, with roughly 2/3 of the sequential gain coming from higher pricing. Non-GAAP gross margin expanded to 84.6% from 78.4% the prior quarter.
Datacenter revenue rose 103% sequentially, and operating cash flow hit $7,126 million. The board then raised remaining buyback authorization to $15.5 billion.
Sentiment has cooled since then. Shares trade at $1,354.03, down 3.61% today, amid reports that memory stocks have lost their mojo. The stock remains up 470.41% year to date.
Consensus EPS sits above management’s $44.00 to $46.00 range and has climbed $44.2073 over the past 90 days. FY2027 revenue estimates mean 142.7% growth. FY2028 growth then slows down to 18.9%, a sign that analysts are modeling a cooling cycle.

Here are some of the top items to watch in Sandisk’s earnings report tonight:
NBM momentum. Sandisk now has NBMs with 8 customers, worth a minimum of $93.9 billion at floor pricing. The key things to watch are new deals and growth in remaining performance obligations beyond $59.8 billion.
Pricing versus volume. Guidance assumes modest price increases plus bit growth, but FY2027 marketable bits sit in the mid-teens because of higher inventory requirements. The CFO estimated NBM margins at around 80%, so focus on where gross margin lands within the 83% to 85% guide.
Datacenter and high-bandwidth flash. Datacenter reached 38% of the portfolio exiting FY2026, and QLC Stargate began shipping for revenue. CEO David Goeckeler said, “We continue to see very robust demand through the end of ’27 and into ’28.”
Edge and consumer weakness. Consumer revenue fell 32% sequentially last quarter. The question is whether smartphone and PC weakness spreads further into Edge.
On average, shares swung 15.7% in the week following earnings over the past year.

The trading week is approaching its end and, for now, a neutral tone continues to dominate the euro's short-term price action. EUR/USD has recorded a move of only around -0.15% during the week, highlighting the pair's inability to establish a clear direction in favor of either the euro or the U.S. dollar. As a result, a relatively consistent phase of indecision continues to dominate market behavior.
This cautious environment has persisted even after the monetary policy decisions from both the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank (ECB). Although the dollar has also struggled to develop a particularly strong bullish bias, the ECB's decision has not been enough to restore meaningful demand for the euro. As a consequence, the market continues to trade under a cautious tone that may remain relevant in the sessions ahead.
What Happened with Central Banks?
This week has been especially important from a monetary policy perspective due to decisions from both the Fed and the ECB. What stands out is that, despite the attention surrounding both events, the decisions and subsequent comments ultimately reinforced a relatively similar tone of caution from the two institutions.
The Federal Reserve was the first to announce its decision, leaving the benchmark rate unchanged at 4.00%. While the institution acknowledged that inflation remains elevated, it also reiterated the need for additional data before considering more aggressive policy actions. In this scenario, the majority of policymakers supported keeping rates unchanged.
Later, the European Central Bank maintained its deposit rate at 2.50% and its refinancing rate at 2.65%. The comments that followed were relatively similar to those seen in the United States. The ECB acknowledged that energy prices continue to pose upside risks to inflation but also stressed the importance of waiting for additional economic data before confirming expectations of higher rates potentially extending into 2027.
Overall, both institutions continue to maintain a cautious stance and have not provided especially clear signals regarding a potential acceleration in monetary tightening over the coming months.
Source: TradingEconomics
An important takeaway is that this environment increasingly reflects an alignment between both central banks. In fact, for the December meetings, which will be the final policy decisions of the year for both institutions, markets assign more than 77% probability to a rate increase in the United States toward 4.25%, while expectations for the ECB show more than 80% probability that the deposit rate will rise from 2.50% to 2.75%.
This suggests that, while there is still room for slightly higher rates before the end of 2026, recent comments from both institutions do not clearly support a prolonged tightening cycle during the first part of 2027. As a result, caution continues to be the dominant feature within monetary policy expectations.
Source: CMEGROUP
Source: ECBWATCH
At the same time, this relatively cautious tone has not generated meaningful changes within fixed-income markets. 10-year bond yields in both the United States and Europe continue to follow a moderation trend even after the latest policy decisions.
While European yields continue struggling to establish themselves above the 4.00% area, U.S. yields remain slightly below 5.00%, suggesting that investors still lack conviction regarding a scenario of substantially higher interest rates during the coming months.
Source: TradingEconomics
This remains relevant because, as long as bond markets fail to increase the relative attractiveness of their yields, demand for both euro- and dollar-denominated investments also remains limited. Even though the United States still holds an interest-rate advantage, that differential has not been enough to generate significant dollar strength.
As a consequence, the market continues to operate within a broadly cautious environment where neither central bank expectations nor recent bond market developments have been sufficient to attract significant capital flows into either currency. Rather than generating a meaningful shift in EUR/USD dynamics, this week's central bank events appear to have reinforced an ongoing lack of direction. As long as this alignment in caution remains in place, the current phase of indecision could continue to be a relevant feature of the pair over the coming weeks.
EUR/USD Technical Forecast
Source: StoneX, Tradingview
The broader downtrend is beginning to enter a consolidation phase: Since January 2026, EUR/USD has developed an important bearish trendline that remains the dominant technical structure on the daily chart. In recent weeks, this broader trend also gave rise to a short-term bearish trendline as dollar strength gained momentum. Recently, however, price action has begun to change, with the pair struggling to establish new significant lows and increasingly reflecting a lack of direction. This suggests that both the long-term downtrend and the short-term bearish structure may be entering a consolidation phase, favoring a more neutral environment while price remains above key support levels.
RSI: The RSI has started to flatten noticeably during recent sessions, reflecting a slowdown in the bearish momentum observed in previous weeks. In addition, while EUR/USD has continued to post slightly lower lows, the RSI has developed progressively higher lows, keeping a potential bullish divergence in place. This signal continues to suggest that the market may be reflecting an excessive accumulation of selling pressure and could still leave room for short-term bullish corrections.
MACD: The MACD histogram continues to trade around the 0 neutral line, a reading that reflects a relatively balanced environment within short-term moving averages. This behavior continues to support the possibility that a phase of indecision remains a relevant characteristic of recent EUR/USD price action.
Key Levels:
1.12715 – Key Resistance: This level coincides with an important area of previous highs and currently represents the most relevant upside barrier on the chart. Price action returning toward this zone could reinforce the current neutral environment and even favor the formation of a more established trading range over the coming weeks.
1.12009 – Near-Term Barrier: This level coincides with an important retracement area observed in recent weeks and currently serves as one of the market's main equilibrium references. It could become the key level to monitor in the event of short-term bullish corrections.
1.10892 – Key Support: A level not seen since May 2025, which remains the most important downside barrier within the current structure. Price action returning toward this area could restore bearish momentum and favor a more aggressive extension of the broader downtrend during the coming weeks as the dominant technical pattern within EUR/USD.

“Our goal with the F1® Allwyn Global Community Award is to drive a meaningful, lasting impact in local communities around the world. Fundación Reintegra…”
MEXICO CITY, Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fundación Reintegra has been named the Mexican winner of the F1® Allwyn Global Community Award at the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE LA CIUDAD DE MÉXICO 2026. The organisation, which for four decades has specialised in violence prevention and adolescent rehabilitation, has been awarded €100,000 from Allwyn, the lottery-led entertainment company. The donation will enable it to support a further 80 adolescents in contact with the justice system to prevent recidivism and facilitate social reintegration.
In Mexico, young people who have come into contact with the justice system face urgent, high-need social challenges that typically receive less visibility and support. Many of these young people face underlying factors such as unresolved trauma, a lack of family support and constructive opportunities. Creating real alternatives for these adolescents and reducing the likelihood of reoffending is a critical challenge affecting local safety and future opportunities.
Fundación Reintegra tackles this issue through a proven model where nine out of ten adolescents who complete its social reintegration programme do not reoffend. The €100,000 donation from Allwyn will allow Reintegra to scale this work, providing 80 adolescents and their families with comprehensive individual and family support, socio-emotional skill development, and work-readiness opportunities to help build a life plan away from violence. A prime example is the initiative’s bakery social enterprise, which trains and employs young people undergoing community reintegration in artisanal baking and pastry production, equipping them with technical skills, formal work experience, and practical employability.
The organisation’s relationship with Formula 1® is already established through a practical connection to the Grand Prix. The FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE LA CIUDAD DE MÉXICO currently supports Reintegra's vocational programme by purchasing bread from their bakery for use in its hospitality areas, demonstrating how race operations help drive positive social impact in the local community.
Jan Karas, CEO at Allwyn Hellas and F1® Allwyn Global Community Award judge, said: "Our goal with the F1® Allwyn Global Community Award is to drive a meaningful, lasting impact in local communities around the world. Fundación Reintegra exemplifies this commitment to transformative change, and we are proud to support their vital work where it matters most."
Margarita Pérez Rocha, Chair of Fundación Reintegra’s Board of Directors, said: “We are thrilled to have won the F1® Allwyn Global Community Award. It is crucial to create real opportunities and provide at-risk young people with the tools they need to make different choices and build a different future. To reduce violence and build safer communities, we must address its causes and invest in prevention, socio-emotional development, and opportunities that help build a life away from violence. This donation from Allwyn will help us do exactly that for so many more adolescents and their families who need our support.”
Ellen Jones, Head of ESG at Formula 1 and F1® Allwyn Global Community Award judge, added: "At Formula 1, we’re focussed on creating meaningful impact in the markets where we race. Fundación Reintegra represents a perfect alignment with this vision. The Mexican Grand Prix already support their incredible work-readiness programme by purchasing their bread for our Grand Prix hospitality, and we are thrilled to further champion their bold, strategic efforts to help young people build a sustainable future."
Fundación Reintegra is the sixth non-profit to be recognised by the F1® Allwyn Global Community Award in 2026. This follows the Canadian charity La Tablée des Chefs; Austrian non-profit Sindbad Mentoring; the British Starlight Children’s Foundation; Dutch charity Spieren voor Spieren; and the recent winner in Austin, the Del Valle ISD Education Foundation. Another organisation will be recognised at the final Grand Prix race location this season in Las Vegas. After all the season’s winners have been announced, Formula 1® fans will have the chance to cast their vote on their favourite winning initiatives as part of Allwyn’s plan to bring fans closer to the programme.

Key Takeaways Western Digital's Q1 revenues rose 55% to $4.38 billion, while non-GAAP EPS surged 161% to $4.64.Seagate's Q1 revenues climbed 61% to $4.23 billion, while non-GAAP EPS jumped 194% to $7.68.Seagate's 386.9% ROE and 19.01 forward P/E compare with Western Digital's 57.9% and 19.37. Demand for high-capacity data storage has increased due to the growing adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), benefiting both Western Digital Corporation (WDC - Free Report) and Seagate Technology Holdings plc (STX - Free Report) . Both companies delivered strong results in their latest quarterly reports, but which AI stock is the better buy after earnings? Let’s explore –
Western Digital’s AI Boom Drives Strong Growth According to Western Digital’s Oct. 22 press release, its revenues increased to $4.38 billion in the fiscal first quarter of 2027, up 55% year over year and a 17% sequential rise. Western Digital’s storage products saw an increase in demand, fueled by the expansion of AI infrastructure, which helped drive an increase in revenues.
Improvement in pricing and optimal product mix also boosted Western Digital’s profit margins. The company’s GAAP gross margin was 57.8%, up 14.3 percentage points year over year. Meanwhile, non-GAAP earnings per share (EPS) came in at $4.64, up 161% year over year and 30% sequentially. Profits grew at a faster pace than revenues, highlighting solid operating leverage.
Looking ahead, Western Digital expects fiscal second-quarter 2027 revenues to reach $5.1 billion at the midpoint of guidance, representing an increase of about 16.4% from the fiscal first quarter. This means that management continues to see an increase in demand for high-capacity data-center storage. At the same time, free cash flow of $1.38 billion in the fiscal first quarter has given the company enough resources to manage debt and support investments for further growth.
AI-Driven Growth Boosts Seagate’s Earnings and Cash Flow Growing AI infrastructure has increased demand for high-capacity storage, eventually benefiting Seagate. The company’s revenues surged 61% year over year to $4.23 billion in the fiscal first quarter of 2027, according to its Oct. 27 press release.
Demand for Seagate’s mass-capacity storage products has increased sharply, helping the company’s profit margins expand sharply. Seagate’s GAAP gross margin was 57.3%, up 17.9 percentage points year over year. Meanwhile, non-GAAP EPS increased to $7.68, an increase of around 194% year over year. Earnings growing at a faster pace than revenue growth highlights Seagate’s ability to translate an increase in sales into stronger profits.
For the fiscal second quarter of 2027, Seagate now expects revenues of $4.8 billion, plus or minus $100 million. From the midpoint, this would be approximately 13.4% more than the fiscal first quarter. Additionally, in the fiscal first quarter, the company generated a record free cash flow of $1.5 billion, which has strengthened its balance sheet and provided greater flexibility to invest in growth.
WDC vs. STX: Which AI Stock Is the Best Buy After Earnings? The latest earnings and robust outlook indicated that both Western Digital and Seagate have gained immensely from rising AI-driven storage demand. Both companies reported strong revenue and improved profit margins, while healthy cash flow has bolstered their financial strength.
However, Seagate appears more efficient than Western Digital at generating profits from shareholders’ equity. This is because Seagate’s return on equity (ROE) of 386.9% exceeds Western Digital’s ROE of 57.9%.

Additionally, Seagate appears more attractively valued than Western Digital. Per the price/earnings (P/E) ratio, STX trades at 19.01 forward earnings compared with WDC’s forward earnings multiple of 19.37.

Therefore, Seagate seems to be the more attractive AI stock to buy, given its higher ROE and lower forward P/E ratio than Western Digital. Seagate currently has a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here.

Key Takeaways Oscar Health extends beyond ACA insurance with Lucie and CHOICE, opening new avenues for revenue growth.Lucie targets a $650 billion-plus marketplace through commissions & fees without assuming underwriting risk.CHOICE rides ICHRA adoption as employee lives top 500,000 in 2026, with a target above 2.5 million by 2029.
Oscar Health (OSCR - Free Report) is leveraging its technology-driven insurance model to capitalize on growth opportunities in the U.S. individual health insurance market. While Affordable Care Act (ACA) membership remains its core growth driver, the company is expanding its reach through CHOICE and the Lucie marketplace, creating opportunities for revenue diversification and higher-margin, capital-light growth.
Acquired in 2025, Lucie is an enhanced direct enrollment platform connecting consumers, brokers, employers and insurance carriers. This platform offers opportunities to generate commissions, platform fees and supplemental-product revenues without assuming underwriting risk. Oscar has identified a total marketplace opportunity exceeding $650 billion for Lucie and remains focused on strengthening its capabilities.
Meanwhile, CHOICE provides another growth avenue by capitalizing on the increasing adoption of Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements, which enable employers to fund employees' individual health insurance purchases. This trend could support membership expansion, deepen broker relationships and streamline enrollment. At its recent investor day, Oscar highlighted adoption growth from fewer than 0.2 million employee lives in 2023 to more than 0.5 million in 2026, with a target exceeding 2.5 million by 2029.
Together, these initiatives could leverage Oscar's existing technology infrastructure and distribution network to enhance cross-selling, lower customer acquisition costs and improve customer monetization. Lucie's fee-based model could also reduce reliance on underwriting margins, supporting a more diversified earnings mix and expanding Oscar's growth potential beyond traditional insurance operations.
What About Peers?Molina Healthcare (MOH - Free Report) is well positioned to benefit from several long-term trends supporting government-sponsored healthcare. As of June 30, 2026, total membership of Molina Healthcare decreased 14.3% year over year to around 4.9 million. Rising healthcare utilization, an aging U.S. population and a strategic shift toward D-SNPs should support sustained membership growth for MOH.
Centene Corporation (CNC - Free Report) has shifted its strategy from prioritizing membership growth to improving earnings quality through disciplined pricing and portfolio optimization. Centene continues to benefit from a large and diversified membership base supported by contract wins and expansion in attractive government-sponsored programs. Centene is also shifting toward higher-quality membership, including growing PDP and dual-eligible Medicare exposure.

Operating Commentary
"Our third quarter results reflect solid execution across our portfolio of transportation and logistics services," stated Tim Phillips, Universal's CEO. "Our intermodal segment also made meaningful progress in its turnaround and generated positive income from operations during the quarter."
Segment Results
Contract Logistics
Contract Logistics results reflected certain new value-added programs, increased volumes in certain existing value-added programs and dedicated transportation, partially offset by fewer programs in value-added rail services operations. Third-quarter operating revenues increased 2.8% to $271.9 million from $264.4 million in the prior-year period. The segment generated income from operations of $22.9 million, compared with $13.7 million a year earlier, and operating margin improved to 8.4% from 5.2%, primarily reflecting lower direct personnel and depreciation expense.
Contract Logistics revenues included $11.8 million of separately identified fuel surcharges from dedicated transportation services, compared with $8.1 million in the prior year period. At quarter-end, Universal managed 76 active value-added programs, compared with 82 a year earlier.
Intermodal
Overall, Intermodal results reflect improved operating performance in the third quarter. Although revenues declined year over year, revenues increased 20.4% sequentially from the second quarter and the segment generated income from operations during the period. Third-quarter operating revenues decreased 17.9% to $53.1 million from $64.7 million in the prior-year period. Load volumes declined 45.7%, while the average operating revenue per load, excluding fuel surcharges, increased 40.4%.
The segment reported income from operations of $2.7 million, compared with an operating loss of $135.1 million a year earlier, including the previously discussed $124.4 million non-cash impairment charge in the prior period. Intermodal revenues included $7.4 million of separately identified fuel surcharges and $8.5 million of detention, demurrage and storage charges, compared with $7.6 million and $9.0 million, respectively, in the prior-year period.
Trucking
Trucking results reflected lower load volumes, substantially offset by higher average operating revenue per load, excluding fuel surcharges. Third-quarter operating revenues were $69.0 million, compared with $67.7 million in the prior-year period. Load volumes declined 9.6%, while average operating revenue per load, excluding fuel surcharges, increased 8.7%.
The segment generated income from operations of $4.4 million, compared with $3.9 million a year earlier. Operating margin was 6.3%, compared with 5.8%, reflecting an improved pricing environment. Trucking revenues included $20.1 million from brokerage services and $5.8 million of separately identified fuel surcharges, compared with $17.3 million and $3.6 million, respectively, in the prior-year period.
Balance Sheet, Liquidity and Capital Structure
At October 3, 2026, the Company reported Debt - net of approximately $678.1 million on its consolidated balance sheet and held $15.3 million of cash and cash equivalents. Gross outstanding borrowings were approximately $681.7 million. Of those borrowings, approximately $500.5 million consisted of Operating Debt(a), representing revolving credit facility borrowings and equipment financing, and approximately $181.2 million consisted of CTL financing.
Operating Debt(a) excludes CTL financing and is presented to distinguish the Company's revolving credit facility borrowings and equipment financing from its separately financed CTL obligations.
At October 3, 2026, the Company's Credit Agreement Leverage Ratio(a) was 1.98x. The maximum permitted Credit Agreement Leverage Ratio(a) at October 3, 2026 was 3.50x. The Credit Agreement Leverage Ratio(a) was calculated using Net Indebtedness(a) of approximately $497.9 million and Combined EBITDA(a) of approximately $251.8 million, each as defined in the Credit Agreement. Reconciliations of Net Indebtedness(a), Combined EBITDA(a) and the Credit Agreement Leverage Ratio(a) are included below.
Capital expenditures during the quarter totaled $32.2 million.
During the quarter, certain subsidiaries of the Company entered into a Fourth Amendment to the syndicated revolving credit facility. The amendment reduced aggregate revolving commitments from $500.0 million to $350.0 million, extended the commitment period from September 30, 2027 to September 30, 2029, and reset the facility's uncommitted accordion to permit the Company to request up to $150.0 million of incremental revolving commitments, subject to lender agreement and satisfaction of the conditions specified in the credit agreement. At October 3, 2026, approximately $90.1 million of revolving commitments remained unused, and the Company was in compliance with its financial covenants.
CTL Financing
The Company's CTL financing is a long-term, fixed-rate financing supported primarily by Ford lease payments and related project collateral. At October 3, 2026, approximately $181.2 million of CTL financing was outstanding. The CTL financing is included in Universal's consolidated debt for GAAP purposes but is excluded from Net Indebtedness for purposes of the leverage covenant under the Company's revolving credit agreement. Universal has specified recourse, indemnity and environmental obligations relating to the financing.
Financial Commentary
"We continued to make meaningful progress strengthening the balance sheet during the quarter. Debt – net declined by approximately $119.5 million from year-end to $678.1 million, and the extension of our revolving credit facility through September 2029 strengthens our debt-maturity profile and preserves financial flexibility. We remain focused on further debt reduction while maintaining the capacity to support our operations and strategic priorities," said Michael Rogers, Universal's Chief Financial Officer.

Non-GAAP Financial Measures
This press release contains financial measures that are not calculated in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). These non-GAAP financial measures include adjusted income from operations, adjusted operating margin, adjusted EBITDA, Operating Debt, Net Indebtedness, Combined EBITDA and Credit Agreement Leverage Ratio.
Adjusted income from operations and adjusted operating margin reflect GAAP income from operations and operating margin, respectively, adjusted for the items shown in the reconciliations below. EBITDA represents net income before interest expense, income taxes, depreciation and amortization. Adjusted EBITDA further adjusts EBITDA for the items shown in the reconciliations below. Management uses these measures to evaluate operating performance and compare results across reporting periods. The Company believes these measures provide useful supplemental information by allowing investors to evaluate operating performance after separately identifying the effects of the specified adjustments.
Operating Debt represents total outstanding borrowings excluding CTL financing. The Company presents Operating Debt to distinguish its revolving credit borrowings and equipment financing from its separately financed CTL financing. The Company also presents Net Indebtedness, Combined EBITDA and the Credit Agreement Leverage Ratio because those measures are used under the Company's revolving credit agreement to evaluate leverage and covenant compliance. These measures should not be considered in isolation or as substitutes for GAAP financial measures, and their definitions may differ from similarly titled measures used by other companies.

(a) A non-GAAP measure, see accompanying non-GAAP measure explanations and reconciliations later in this release.
The Company presents these non-GAAP measures because it believes they assist investors and analysts in comparing performance across reporting periods on a consistent basis and in understanding the measures used under the Company's revolving credit agreement. These measures have limitations and should not be considered in isolation or as substitutes for GAAP measures. The Company relies primarily on GAAP results and uses these non-GAAP measures only as supplemental measures.

Laureate Education NASDAQ: LAUR reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $485 million and adjusted EBITDA of $147 million, with both figures exceeding the company’s prior guidance, helped by favorable foreign exchange rates.
Net income for the quarter was $101 million, or $0.73 per share, while adjusted net income was $72 million, or $0.52 per share. Adjusted earnings per share doubled from the prior-year third quarter, according to Chief Financial Officer Rick Buskirk.
The company reaffirmed its full-year outlook and expanded its share repurchase authorization by $150 million. Laureate said $225 million remained available under the authorization as of Sept. 30 on a pro forma basis for the increase.
Get Laureate Education alerts:
Enrollment growth supported by campuses and online programs President and Chief Executive Officer Eilif Serck-Hanssen said Laureate’s current enrollment cycle showed that its three principal growth initiatives were working: same-store enrollment growth, campus expansion and fully online programs for working adults.
New enrollment volumes rose 8% and total enrollment increased 6% from the comparable prior-year intake period. New campuses accounted for about 2% of new enrollment growth and roughly 1% of total enrollment growth, Buskirk said.
In Mexico, primary-intake new enrollments rose 8% year over year. The company attributed part of that increase to the launch of its Puebla campus, which contributed about 3% to Mexico’s intake growth and was performing ahead of expectations. Total enrollment in Mexico increased 5%.
Laureate also cited growth across existing campuses and online offerings in Mexico. Pricing in its traditional face-to-face and online programs was in line with cost inflation, management said.
In Peru, secondary-intake new enrollments increased 9%, led by demand for fully online programs aimed at working adults. Total Peru enrollment grew 5%. Serck-Hanssen said Laureate now has more than 40,000 fully online students in Peru.
Buskirk said the company’s rapid growth in fully online programs is affecting average revenue per student in Peru through price mix and that the effect is expected to continue into 2027. He also said fully online students have higher attrition, which is expected to reduce peak enrollment figures during the fourth quarter and contribute to Laureate’s full-year enrollment growth range of 4% to 5%.
Constant-currency operating gains The company said third-quarter results included a $29 million foreign-currency benefit to revenue, reflecting a stronger Mexican peso and Peruvian sol during the period. On a constant-currency basis and adjusted for academic-calendar timing, third-quarter revenue rose 6% and adjusted EBITDA increased 14% from a year earlier.
Mexico’s third-quarter revenue grew 6% on that adjusted basis, while adjusted EBITDA rose 12%. Year-to-date revenue in Mexico increased 6% and adjusted EBITDA rose 3%, with results affected by the timing of investments and the ramp-up of the Puebla campus.
In Peru, adjusted third-quarter revenue rose 6% and adjusted EBITDA increased 15%. For the first nine months, Peru revenue increased 7% and adjusted EBITDA grew 14%, though Buskirk said certain expenses were timed earlier in the year and are expected to normalize in the fourth quarter.
Management noted that campus-based higher education has substantial seasonality, as classes are out of session for much of the third quarter. Academic-calendar shifts also affected quarterly comparisons. The company expects approximately $20 million of unfavorable intra-year academic-calendar timing in the fourth quarter.
Guidance reaffirmed as foreign exchange remains variable Laureate maintained its 2026 guidance despite the Mexican peso and Peruvian sol weakening against the U.S. dollar after the third quarter. Buskirk said the range between the high and low ends of the company’s guidance largely reflects potential foreign-exchange movements.
Total enrollment of 518,000 to 523,000 students, representing growth of 4% to 5% from 2025. Revenue of $1.92 billion to $1.93 billion, representing reported growth of 13% and constant-currency growth of 6% to 7%. Adjusted EBITDA of $593 million to $599 million, representing reported growth of 14% to 15% and constant-currency growth of 8% to 9%. Adjusted earnings per share of $2.04 to $2.10, representing reported growth of 19% to 22%. For the fourth quarter, Laureate forecast revenue of $546 million to $556 million and adjusted EBITDA of $198 million to $204 million. Buskirk said third-quarter revenue outperformance relative to prior guidance was entirely driven by foreign exchange, while adjusted EBITDA outperformance reflected a roughly even mix of foreign exchange and expense timing. About $5 million of expenses are expected to shift into the fourth quarter.
Campus pipeline and capital returns Laureate ended September with $204 million of gross debt and $190 million in cash, resulting in net debt of $14 million. The company repurchased $256 million of common stock through September, including $75 million during the third quarter.
Management said it has opened three new campuses since the start of 2025: campuses in Ate, Peru, and Monterrey, Mexico, followed by Puebla. Two additional campuses are expected to open in 2027, with a Southern Lima location planned for the first quarter and a Mérida, Mexico, campus expected before the September 2027 main intake.
Serck-Hanssen said Mérida will be a smaller campus in a secondary city, with capacity for about 6,000 students, compared with roughly 9,000 to 11,000 at a typical capital-city campus. Laureate has also secured land opportunities for additional expansion and expects campus openings to accelerate in 2028.
The company said it expects adjusted EBITDA margins to expand by about 50 basis points at the midpoint of 2026 guidance. Buskirk said Laureate expects to expand margins by an average of roughly 30 to 50 basis points annually in coming years, despite investment and ramp-up costs from new campuses.

AAPL's fiscal Q4 earnings outlook points to strong iPhone demand, Services growth and AI momentum, but supply constraints and a stretched valuation raise concerns.
A super PAC backed by Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta has poured $1 million in last-minute cash into the campaign coffers of California gubernatorial candidate Xavier Becerra, The Post has learned.
Mobilizing Economic Transformation Across (META) California donated a total of $999,066 in five installments between Oct. 20 and Oct. 27, according to campaign finance records.
That’s in addition to more than $1.2 million in donations to the Becerra campaign last May, bringing the overall total above $2.2 million.

The California gubernatorial race is crucial to the tech industry because Meta and many other firms are headquartered in the state – putting it in position to pass impactful legislation on everything from artificial intelligence to social media and beyond.
Outgoing California Gov. Gavin Newsom notably vetoed a major AI safety bill that Meta and Google had lobbied against in 2024.
Becerra, who served as secretary of health and human services under former President Joe Biden, is currently the frontrunner against Republican Steve Hilton in the race to replace Newsom.
A California Post poll released last week showed Becerra with a commanding 15.7-point lead over Hilton.
“As Secretary Becerra says time and time again, if you want to see what a leader will do, look at their record,” campaign spokesperson Jonathan Underland said in a statement. “His record on holding corporations accountable is consistent.”
“As Attorney General, Becerra took Facebook to court in an investigation of the company’s privacy practices,” the statement added. “As Governor, he will continue to fight to keep Californians safe, affordable, and stand up against Trump’s power grab.”
Representatives for Hilton and Meta did not immediately return requests for comment.
The money poured into Becerra’s coffers even after Meta reportedly withdrew $25 million from political action groups it had funded over the summer – which made the company’s campaign budget for the 2026 midterms roughly 40% smaller than it was, according to the New York Times.
“This is straight out of the Zuckerberg playbook: write a big check to a slam-dunk winner and hope it buys goodwill with the incoming governor,” a Democratic strategist told The Post. REUTERS
Mobilizing Economic Transformation Across (Meta) California was among the groups purportedly affected by the cutback.
Julianna Arnold, cofounder of the kids online safety nonprofit Parents Rise, said the donations are troubling because “California has the chance to lead the nation in reining in companies like Meta.”
“My daughter Coco was groomed on Instagram and died of a fentanyl-laced pill. I don’t know what Meta expects in return for this spending,” Arnold told The Post. “I know what survivor parents expect, which is a governor who will take on this industry as if their children’s lives depend on it. Because they do.”
Just this year, Meta was found liable in California state court for harm caused to a woman identified as KGM, who alleged that she became addicted to Instagram as a result of design features such as “infinite scroll” and autoplay.

Meta was ordered to pay $4.2 million in damages.
Critics allege that taking money from Big Tech is inherently a conflict of interest for a prospective governor.
“This is straight out of the Zuckerberg playbook: write a big check to a slam-dunk winner and hope it buys goodwill with the incoming governor,” a Democratic strategist who requested anonymity told The Post.
“It’s a transparent attempt by Meta to get a seat at the table before the first bill ever reaches his desk,” the strategist added. “One can only hope Becerra has the backbone to ignore the money and do the right thing on tech regulation once he takes office.”
Meta has quietly launched Style Sketch, an AI fashion app that helps users put together outfit ideas using clothes they already own. The app connects to Instagram to build a virtual closet from photos you’ve posted, or lets you add items manually by snapping a photo, recording a quick video, or uploading images from your camera roll.
Style Sketch then suggests outfit combinations built from your wardrobe matched to your style. Users can then try on the outfits on a “realistic model matched to your body shape and skin tone,” the app description reads.
The app, which was first spotted by social media consultant Matt Navarra, is available in Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand on iOS and Android.
Meta did not respond to TechCrunch’s request for comment. It’s unknown whether Meta plans to launch Style Sketch more widely.

Several apps already use AI to help users digitize their wardrobes and visualize new outfits, including startups like Alta. Even Google Photos offers tools that let users turn photos of their clothes into digital closets where they can create new outfit ideas.
To compete with what’s already on the market, Meta will likely rely less on the novelty of the idea and more on the app’s integration with Instagram, where users already have a visual record of their personal style.
Rather than relying on random suggestions, users can also select a specific item from their wardrobe and get fresh outfit ideas built around it, according to the app description.
The app can also help users plan outfits for trips. If they enter their destination, trip length, and planned activities, users can get a day-by-day outfit plan that takes the weather forecast and itinerary into account.
Style Sketch is one of many AI apps from Meta in recent months. Most recently, the company launched an app called Waddle World, which essentially looks like a Tamagotchi clone, but with AI. Meta has also launched Pocket, a tool for vibe-coding games, and Vibes, which lets users quickly generate AI-powered videos.
The wave of new apps is part of a broader effort at Meta to release more apps. The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this year that CEO Mark Zuckerberg told employees the company plans to release far more apps than it has historically, as AI-driven efficiencies have made it faster and easier to ship new apps.
