Stonegate Capital Partners Initiates Coverage on Xperi Inc. (XPER)
XPER Xperi Holding
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Dallas, Texas--(Newsfile Corp. - July 20, 2026) - Xperi Inc. (NYSE: XPER): Stonegate Capital Partners Initiates Coverage on Xperi Inc. (NYSE: XPER). Xperi's 1Q26 results increased confidence that its earnings inflection is underway. Topline benefited from earlier contract signings in Consumer Electronics and Connected Car, but the more meaningful change was the cost base as adjusted operating expense fell 14%, lifting adjusted EBITDA margin to 22.1% from 14.4%. Management said first-quarter expenses are a fair run rate, giving the Company room to translate Media Platform growth into earnings without relying on further large cost actions. TiVo One's expanding audience is beginning to support advertising revenue, reinforcing the shift toward post-deployment monetization. We are keeping our eye on TiVo One ARPU, the second-half advertising ramp, and the first AutoStage data licenses as markers of continued progress.

To view the full announcement, including downloadable images, bios, and more, click here.

Key Takeaways:

The cost reset materially improves earnings visibility: A 14% reduction in adjusted operating expense establishes a lower run-rate cost base and supports sustained operating leverage toward the 17%-19% EBITDA margin target.

Media Platform is emerging as the core growth and mix driver: TiVo One audience growth, expanding advertising demand, and broader programmatic capabilities support a higher-quality, recurring monetization model.

Execution milestones should drive the next leg of the story: TiVo One ARPU expansion, the second-half advertising ramp, and initial AutoStage data licensing are the key catalysts for earnings upside and multiple expansion.

Can XM Cyber IP Acquisition Strengthen CrowdStrike's Falcon Platform?
CRWD CrowdStrike
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways CRWD is acquiring XM Cyber's IP, including patents & code for attack path analysis and exposure management. CRWD aims to enhance Falcon Exposure Management to identify attack paths and prioritize security risks.CRWD expects the deal to expand Falcon Flex adoption and support long-term revenue growth. CrowdStrike (CRWD - Free Report) is strengthening its Falcon platform by acquiring the intellectual property of XM Cyber. The deal includes more than 45 patents and proprietary source code related to attack path analysis and exposure management. XM Cyber customers will have the option to move to the Falcon platform through Falcon Flex over time. The deal is a part of CrowdStrike's expanded partnership with Schwarz Digits to offer the Falcon platform on STACKIT's sovereign cloud across Europe.

The acquisition enhances CrowdStrike's Falcon Exposure Management offering.Falcon Exposure Management continuously monitors an organization's attack surface and prioritizes vulnerabilities based on how likely they are to be exploited. Adding XM Cyber's attack path analysis technology should help improve the Falcon platform's ability to identify attack paths and prioritize security risks, and help organizations understand how attackers can move through their networks by combining multiple vulnerabilities.

The acquisition also supports CrowdStrike's platform strategy. As AI helps attackers discover and exploit vulnerabilities faster, companies are looking for security platforms, such as CrowdStrike's Falcon platform, that bring multiple capabilities together. During the first quarter of fiscal 2027, the adoption of Falcon Exposure Management nearly doubled year over year. Here, Falcon Flex's ability to help customers adopt additional modules through a single subscription model should create opportunities for further platform expansion.

The acquisition adds new technology to CrowdStrike's exposure management offering and creates an opportunity to bring XM Cyber customers onto Falcon Flex. Through this acquisition, CrowdStrike is improving its ability to help enterprises manage AI-driven cyber risks while supporting its long-term platform growth strategy. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for fiscal 2027 and 2028 revenues indicates a year-over-year increase of around 23.5% and 21.6%, respectively.

How Competitors Fare Against CRWDCompetitors like Palo Alto Networks (PANW - Free Report) and Zscaler (ZS - Free Report) are also gaining ground through platform expansion and AI innovation through acquisitions.

In May 2026, PANW completed its acquisition of Portkey, a company specializing in AI Gateways, to strengthen its AI security offering. PANW aims to use Portkey as the AI Gateway within its Prisma AIRS platform to act as a central system to monitor, control and secure all AI-related activity across an organization.

In May 2026, Zscaler announced its intent to acquire Symmetry Systems, which provides an access graph that maps how identities, applications and data sources connect across the enterprise. Through this acquisition, Symmetry Systems’ technology will be integrated with Zscaler’s Zero Trust Exchange platform to strengthen agentic security use cases, providing organizations with control over how AI agents interact with applications and data.

CRWD’s Price Performance, Valuation and EstimatesShares of CrowdStrike have jumped 73.3% in the year-to-date period compared with the Zacks Security industry’s return of 73.5%.

From a valuation standpoint, CrowdStrike trades at a forward price-to-sales ratio of 31.64, significantly higher than the industry’s average of 19.35. The Zacks Value Score of F also suggests that CRWD stock is overvalued.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for CrowdStrike’s fiscal 2027 and 2028 earnings indicates year-over-year growth of 32.3% and 27%, respectively. Shares of Hut 8 (NASDAQ:HUT) are surging in Monday morning trading, with the stock up 10% to $100.58 after the energy infrastructure operator announced a second hyperscale AI data center lease that fully commercializes its flagship Texas campus. The move extends a volatile stretch for the name, which had fallen 23% over the past month heading into the announcement.

The rally is dragging peer miners higher in sympathy. Marathon Digital (NASDAQ:MARA | MARA Price Prediction) shares are up 8% to $11.57, and Riot Platforms (NASDAQ:RIOT) shares are trading 4% higher at $19.03. The CoinShares Valkyrie Bitcoin Miners ETF (NASDAQ:WGMI) is along for the ride, with the ETF up 8% to $51.58.

Notably, the sector is rallying while Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) trades slightly lower over the past 24 hours at $64,317. That divergence signals the move is idiosyncratic to the AI infrastructure theme rather than a crypto beta trade.

Beacon Point Deal Fully Commercializes Texas Campus Hut 8 signed a second 15-year, $9.8 billion lease that fully commercializes its 1-gigawatt Beacon Point AI data center campus in Nueces County, Texas. The existing high-investment-grade tenant doubled its contracted footprint to 704 MW, and the campus base-term contract value now stands at $19.6 billion, rising to as much as $50.2 billion if all renewal options are exercised.

The total contracted portfolio value across Beacon Point and River Bend now reaches $26.6 billion, with expected average annual net operating income above $1.75 billion. The Phase 2 data hall spans 352 MW and is designed to NVIDIA‘s (NASDAQ:NVDA) DSX reference architecture, tying Hut 8 directly to the NVIDIA AI factory buildout that CEO Jensen Huang has called “the largest infrastructure expansion in human history.”

Campus energization is on track for Q1 2027, with first Phase 2 delivery expected in Q2 2028. Beacon Point was originally developed on a speed-to-power basis for affiliated miner American Bitcoin before being converted to AI leases.

KBW Reiterates Outperform Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (KBW) maintained an Outperform rating with a $138 price target on Hut 8 shares following the announcement. That target sits above the current print and reinforces the analyst community’s read that Hut 8’s shift toward contracted, investment-grade cash flow is worth a premium to the mining peer set.

The setup echoes prior notes. Benchmark’s Mark Palmer had already lifted his Hut 8 price target to $165 from $85, and Lucid Capital Markets initiated the stock at Buy with a $226 price target.

Hut 8’s Peers Ride the Theme To be clear, the concrete news belongs to Hut 8 alone. Marathon Digital and Riot Platforms shares are moving on renewed enthusiasm for the Bitcoin-miner-to-AI-infrastructure pivot rather than company-specific catalysts.

Marathon Digital is pursuing its own transition through a Starwood partnership converting roughly 90% of non-hosted mining capacity to AI and critical IT compute sites, plus a pending acquisition of the 505 MW Long Ridge Energy plant expected to close in H2 2026. Riot Platforms has already booked debut data center revenue from its $636 million, 10-year Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD) lease at Rockdale and is targeting portfolio NOI of $1.6 billion to $2.1 billion on full development.

The WGMI ETF offers a basket way to play the cohort. However, the fund is narrow and volatile, with meaningful concentration risk.

What to Watch Now Traders can watch for whether today’s crypto-stock gains hold into the close. The next anticipated catalyst is Hut 8’s Q2 2026 earnings release on August 4, before the open, which management has flagged may look messy on mark-to-market accounting.

For Marathon Digital and Riot Platforms, the read-through is simpler. If hyperscale tenants keep signing 15-year and 20-year deals at gigawatt scale, the miner-to-AI pivot narrative likely has room to run, even if Bitcoin drifts sideways.

Should Value Investors Buy Playtika (PLTK) Stock?
PLTK Playtika
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Here at Zacks, our focus is on the proven Zacks Rank system, which emphasizes earnings estimates and estimate revisions to find great stocks. Nevertheless, we are always paying attention to the latest value, growth, and momentum trends to underscore strong picks.

Of these, perhaps no stock market trend is more popular than value investing, which is a strategy that has proven to be successful in all sorts of market environments. Value investors use a variety of methods, including tried-and-true valuation metrics, to find these stocks.

On top of the Zacks Rank, investors can also look at our innovative Style Scores system to find stocks with specific traits. For example, value investors will want to focus on the "Value" category. Stocks with high Zacks Ranks and "A" grades for Value will be some of the highest-quality value stocks on the market today.

One company value investors might notice is Playtika (PLTK - Free Report) . PLTK is currently sporting a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) and an A for Value.

PLTK is also sporting a PEG ratio of 0.80. This popular metric is similar to the widely-known P/E ratio, with the difference being that the PEG ratio also takes into account the company's expected earnings growth rate. PLTK's industry has an average PEG of 1.60 right now. Over the past 52 weeks, PLTK's PEG has been as high as 2.80 and as low as 0.80, with a median of 1.20.

Value investors also love the P/S ratio, which is calculated by simply dividing a stock's price with the company's sales. This is a popular metric because sales are harder to manipulate on an income statement, so they are often considered a better performance indicator. PLTK has a P/S ratio of 0.55. This compares to its industry's average P/S of 1.38.

Value investors will likely look at more than just these metrics, but the above data helps show that Playtika is likely undervalued currently. And when considering the strength of its earnings outlook, PLTK sticks out as one of the market's strongest value stocks.

In the last reported quarter, the company posted adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $2.58, which surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 14.16%. Align Technology beat on earnings in three of the trailing four quarters and missed on one occasion, the average surprise being 7.80%.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for earnings is pinned at $2.56 per share, which implies a 2.8% rise from the year-ago recorded actuals.

Estimate Revision Trend Ahead of ALGN’s Q2 EarningsEstimates for second-quarter earnings have remained unchanged at $2.56 per share in the past 30 days.

Here’s a brief overview of the company’s performance leading up to this announcement.

Factors Shaping ALGN’s Q2 PerformanceClear Aligner

The segment is likely to have benefited from higher Clear Aligner volumes, with particular strength across the EMEA, APAC and Latin America, with continued stability in North America. Both orthodontists and GP dentist channels may have seen volume growth, driven by growth across adults, teens and growing kids. From a product standpoint, it is likely to have seen strong contributions from Invisalign First and the Invisalign Palatal Expander with Mandibular Advancement with Occlusal Blocks.

Dental and orthodontic service organizations (DSOs) must have remained a key, scalable growth channel in the to-be-reported quarter, with continued strong progress across all major regions. Meanwhile, the doctor subscription program (DSP), which includes retention, touch-up and relapse cases, is expected to have maintained strong momentum during the quarter.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for Clear Aligner revenues indicates 6.3% year-over-year growth.

Align Technology, Inc. Price and EPS SurpriseImaging Systems & CAD/CAM Services (Systems and Services)

Within this segment, revenues are likely to have benefited from higher volumes across all regions and continued adoption of iTero Lumina scanner. In the first quarter, the total installed base of active scanners exceeded 125,000 globally. We expect this trend to have continued in the to-be-reported quarter as well.

exocad achieved strong revenue growth, reinforcing the company’s strategy to integrate orthodontics and restorative dentistry within a customer and patient-centric digital platform. We expect this trend to have persisted in the second quarter as well. Following the successful launch of Invisalign Advanced Restorative Treatment (ART) pilot in the EMEA, Align recently began an Invisalign ART pilot in the United States with labs and doctors beginning training in several markets. We expect the development to have contributed to the company’s top-line growth.

The company’s growing suite of digital diagnostic tools, including Align Oral Health Suite and Align X-ray Insights, helps doctors identify conditions earlier and deliver clearer, more informed treatment recommendations. We expect all these tools to have positively impacted Align Technology’s revenues in the second quarter.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for the segment’s revenues implies a decrease of 5.5% on a year-over-year basis.

Is Trending Stock JD.com, Inc. (JD) a Buy Now?
JD.US JD.com
FMP Stock News
Original source text
JD.com, Inc. (JD - Free Report) has recently been on Zacks.com's list of the most searched stocks. Therefore, you might want to consider some of the key factors that could influence the stock's performance in the near future.

Shares of this company have returned +7.4% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +0.6% change. The Zacks Internet - Commerce industry, to which JD.com belongs, has gained 5.4% over this period. Now the key question is: Where could the stock be headed in the near term?

Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.

Earnings Estimate RevisionsHere at Zacks, we prioritize appraising the change in the projection of a company's future earnings over anything else. That's because we believe the present value of its future stream of earnings is what determines the fair value for its stock.

We essentially look at how sell-side analysts covering the stock are revising their earnings estimates to reflect the impact of the latest business trends. And if earnings estimates go up for a company, the fair value for its stock goes up. A higher fair value than the current market price drives investors' interest in buying the stock, leading to its price moving higher. This is why empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.

JD.com is expected to post earnings of $0.86 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +24.6%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate has changed -3%.

For the current fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $3.14 points to a change of +23.1% from the prior year. Over the last 30 days, this estimate has changed +2.7%.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $3.67 indicates a change of +16.6% from what JD.com is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed +6.8%.

With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool -- the Zacks Rank -- is a more conclusive indicator of a stock's near-term price performance, as it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for JD.com.

The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:

12 Month EPS

Projected Revenue GrowthEven though a company's earnings growth is arguably the best indicator of its financial health, nothing much happens if it cannot raise its revenues. It's almost impossible for a company to grow its earnings without growing its revenue for long periods. Therefore, knowing a company's potential revenue growth is crucial.

In the case of JD.com, the consensus sales estimate of $51.55 billion for the current quarter points to a year-over-year change of +3.5%. The $203.97 billion and $214.91 billion estimates for the current and next fiscal years indicate changes of +11.1% and +5.4%, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryJD.com reported revenues of $45.77 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +10.3%. EPS of $0.74 for the same period compares with $1.16 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $45.57 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +0.42%. The EPS surprise was +29.82%.

The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters. The company topped consensus revenue estimates three times over this period.

ValuationWithout considering a stock's valuation, no investment decision can be efficient. In predicting a stock's future price performance, it's crucial to determine whether its current price correctly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects.

Comparing the current value of a company's valuation multiples, such as its price-to-earnings (P/E), price-to-sales (P/S), and price-to-cash flow (P/CF), to its own historical values helps ascertain whether its stock is fairly valued, overvalued, or undervalued, whereas comparing the company relative to its peers on these parameters gives a good sense of how reasonable its stock price is.

The Zacks Value Style Score (part of the Zacks Style Scores system), which pays close attention to both traditional and unconventional valuation metrics to grade stocks from A to F (an A is better than a B; a B is better than a C; and so on), is pretty helpful in identifying whether a stock is overvalued, rightly valued, or temporarily undervalued.

JD.com is graded A on this front, indicating that it is trading at a discount to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

ConclusionThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about JD.com. However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

Devon Energy (DVN - Free Report) has been one of the most searched-for stocks on Zacks.com lately. So, you might want to look at some of the facts that could shape the stock's performance in the near term.

Shares of this oil and gas exploration company have returned +4.1% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +0.6% change. The Zacks Oil and Gas - Exploration and Production - United States industry, to which Devon Energy belongs, has gained 6% over this period. Now the key question is: Where could the stock be headed in the near term?

Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.

Revisions to Earnings EstimatesRather than focusing on anything else, we at Zacks prioritize evaluating the change in a company's earnings projection. This is because we believe the fair value for its stock is determined by the present value of its future stream of earnings.

Devon Energy is expected to post earnings of $1.27 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +51.2%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate has changed -12.4%.

The consensus earnings estimate of $4.61 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +17.6%. This estimate has changed -7.2% over the last 30 days.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $4.79 indicates a change of +3.9% from what Devon Energy is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed -2.6%.

With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool -- the Zacks Rank -- is a more conclusive indicator of a stock's near-term price performance, as it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for Devon Energy.

For Devon Energy, the consensus sales estimate for the current quarter of $6.25 billion indicates a year-over-year change of +45.9%. For the current and next fiscal years, $24.23 billion and $27.66 billion estimates indicate +41% and +14.1% changes, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryDevon Energy reported revenues of $3.81 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of -14.5%. EPS of $1.04 for the same period compares with $1.21 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $4.16 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of -8.48%. The EPS surprise was +4%.

The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters. The company topped consensus revenue estimates three times over this period.

ValuationNo investment decision can be efficient without considering a stock's valuation. Whether a stock's current price rightly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects is an essential determinant of its future price performance.

As part of the Zacks Style Scores system, the Zacks Value Style Score (which evaluates both traditional and unconventional valuation metrics) organizes stocks into five groups ranging from A to F (A is better than B; B is better than C; and so on), making it helpful in identifying whether a stock is overvalued, rightly valued, or temporarily undervalued.

Devon Energy is graded A on this front, indicating that it is trading at a discount to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

ConclusionThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Devon Energy. However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

SLB Boosts Production Optimization With VIEC Technology Acquisition
SLB Schlumberger
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways SLB acquires Sulzer's VIEC technology to enhance oil-water separation and hydrocarbon recovery.VIEC can reduce water content to below 1% in a single treatment stage without major facility upgrades. The acquisition strengthens SLB's production technologies portfolio and future cash flows. SLB N.V. (SLB - Free Report) has acquired Sulzer's Vessel Internal Electrostatic Coalescer (VIEC) technology, strengthening its production optimization portfolio. The move has enhanced SLB’s ability to help oil and gas operators maximize hydrocarbon recovery from aging assets. The acquisition expands SLB's production technologies business at a time when producers are increasingly focused on improving output from existing fields rather than pursuing costly new developments.

As mature oil fields produce higher volumes of water over time, efficient oil-water separation has become essential for maintaining production and controlling operating costs. VIEC technology addresses this challenge by improving oil-water separation through high-frequency electrostatic fields that destabilize emulsions inside separator vessels.

The system can reduce water content to below 1% in a single treatment stage, enabling higher hydrocarbon recovery, greater processing capacity and lower treatment costs. The technology can be installed in both new and existing facilities without major infrastructure modifications, offering operators a cost-effective solution to optimize production across onshore and offshore assets.

The acquisition advances SLB’s strategy of expanding its higher-value production and recovery technology portfolio. By integrating VIEC, SLB broadens its production optimization capabilities, unlocking new avenues for equipment sales, retrofits and long-term service contracts. As global operators increasingly prioritize extending the life of mature assets under disciplined capital spending, demand for production-enhancing technologies is expected to grow. By expanding its differentiated technology portfolio, SLB is well-positioned to capture the growing demand and strengthen its business model with enhanced investor appeal.

SLB currently carries a Zacks Rank #4 (Sell).

Some better-ranked stocks in the energy sector are NOV Inc. (NOV - Free Report) , Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. (NGS - Free Report) and National Energy Services Reunited Corp. (NESR - Free Report) . NOV currently carries a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy), while NESR and NGS sport a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) each. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank stocks here.

NOV is a global provider of equipment, technologies and services for the oil and gas drilling and production industries, operating across 548 locations on six continents. In the first quarter of 2026, the company achieved record profits from its subsea flexible pipe and process systems businesses, reflecting strong demand in offshore energy markets. NOV reported record bookings in the first quarter of 2026 for its composite solutions business and maintains a strong subsea flexible pipe backlog extending through 2028, providing long-term revenue visibility.

Headquartered in Southlake, TX, Natural Gas Services Group manufactures, fabricates, sells, rents and services natural gas compressors to enhance well production, alongside manufacturing flare and ignition systems used in production facilities. In June 2026, the company significantly expanded its operational footprint in the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford regions by acquiring Flatrock Compression Holdings. This strategic acquisition expanded NGS’s fleet of large-horsepower and electric-driven compression solutions, broadened its customer base and immediately boosted key financial metrics.

National Energy Services Reunited delivers integrated drilling and reservoir services across the Middle East, North Africa and Asia-Pacific, helping producers maximize output and efficiency. With rising global demand for electricity fueling a shift toward natural gas, NESR is well-positioned to capitalize on growing upstream energy investments.

Roper Technologies Set to Report Q2 Earnings: What's in the Cards?
ROP Roper Technologies
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways ROP is expected to report Q2 revenues of $2.10 billion, up 7.9%, with adjusted EPS of $5.29.ROP may benefit from SaaS demand, GenAI solutions and recurring revenues across software units.ROP's Subsplash acquisition may aid revenues, while high costs and a stronger U.S. dollar remain headwinds. Roper Technologies, Inc. (ROP - Free Report) is scheduled to release second-quarter 2026 results on July 23, before market open.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for Roper Technologies’ second-quarter earnings has remained steady in the past 30 days. The company has an impressive earnings surprise history, having outperformed the consensus estimate in each of the preceding four quarters, with an average surprise of 1.7%.

The consensus estimate for the company’s revenues is pegged at $2.10 billion, indicating growth of 7.9% from the prior-year quarter’s figure. The consensus estimate for adjusted earnings is pinned at $5.29 per share, indicating 8.6% growth from the year-ago quarter’s number.

Let’s see how things have shaped up for Roper Technologies this earnings season.

Factors to Note Ahead of ROP’s Q2 ResultsROP’s Application Software segment’s second-quarter performance is expected to have benefited from strength across its Aderant, Deltek, Vertafore, PowerPlan and CentralReach businesses. The growing adoption of SaaS solutions and continued GenAI innovation are likely to have been key catalysts to Aderant's business growth. The Deltek business is likely to have gained from the strong demand for SaaS solutions in the private sector.

The Vertafore business is anticipated to have performed well, driven by excellent enterprise delivery capabilities to the large customers in the market. The adoption of new SaaS solutions, along with strong customer retention, is expected to drive the PowerPlan business’ results. Strength in the CentralReach business, driven by higher recurring revenues, is expected to have acted as a tailwind for the segment. For the second quarter, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the Application Software segment’s revenues is pegged at $1.18 billion, indicating an 8.1% increase from the year-ago reported number.

Roper Technologies’ Network Software segment is expected to have benefited from strong momentum across alternate site healthcare, construction and freight match markets. Solid demand for Gen AI-powered solutions within the ConstructConnect business is likely to have driven the segment. Increased average revenue per user (ARPU), driven by a rise in product packaging and continued customer cross-sell activity, is likely to have supported the DAT business. Strength in SoftWriters and Subsplash businesses is also likely to have aided the segment. For the second quarter, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the segment’s revenues is pegged at $437 million, indicating a 13.5% rise on a year-over-year basis.

The performance of the Technology Enabled Products segment is likely to have been driven by continued demand for ultrasonic meters and rising demand for cloud-based data and billing software solutions. Solid momentum in the Verathon and NDI businesses, supported by strength across single-use BFlex & GlideScope offerings and cardiac, neurology & orthopedic precision measurement solutions, is likely to have been another tailwind. However, softness in the water meter technology business is expected to have put up a weak show in the quarter. For the second quarter, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the segment’s revenues is pegged at $159 million, indicating a 3% decline from the year-ago reported number.

Nevertheless, ROP has remained focused on expanding its product offerings and market presence through buyouts, which is expected to have boosted its top line. In July 2025, Roper Technologies acquired Subsplash, a provider of cloud-based solutions. The inclusion of Subsplash’s modern technology platform, strong recurring revenue base and software-led payments capability is expected to aid ROP’s second-quarter results.

However, rising operating costs, owing to higher costs related to the amortization of acquired assets, are expected to have affected the company’s bottom line.

Also, given Roper Technologies’ extensive geographic presence, its operations are exposed to foreign exchange headwinds. A stronger U.S. dollar is likely to have hurt its overseas business.

Earnings WhisperOur proven model does not conclusively predict an earnings beat for ROP this time around. The combination of a positive Earnings ESP and a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), 2 (Buy) or 3 (Hold) increases the odds of an earnings beat, which is not the case here, as elaborated below.

Expeditors International of Washington, Inc. (EXPD) Hit a 52 Week High, Can the Run Continue?
EXPD Expeditors International
FMP Stock News
Original source text
A strong stock as of late has been Expeditors International (EXPD - Free Report) . Shares have been marching higher, with the stock up 13.3% over the past month. The stock hit a new 52-week high of $183.52 in the previous session. Expeditors International has gained 22.7% since the start of the year compared to the 19.1% gain for the Zacks Transportation sector and the 15.3% return for the Zacks Transportation - Services industry.

What's Driving the Outperformance? The stock has a great record of positive earnings surprises, as it hasn't missed our earnings consensus estimate in any of the last four quarters. In its last earnings report on May 5, 2026, Expeditors International reported EPS of $1.71 versus consensus estimate of $1.33 while it beat the consensus revenue estimate by 8.02%.

For the current fiscal year, Expeditors International is expected to post earnings of $6.71 per share on $11.67 in revenues. This represents a 12.77% change in EPS on a 5.46% change in revenues. For the next fiscal year, the company is expected to earn $6.85 per share on $12.09 in revenues. This represents a year-over-year change of 2.15% and 3.6%, respectively.

Valuation MetricsExpeditors International may be at a 52-week high right now, but what might the future hold for the stock? A key aspect of this question is taking a look at valuation metrics in order to determine if the company is due for a pullback from this level.

On this front, we can look at the Zacks Style Scores, as they provide investors with an additional way to sort through stocks (beyond looking at the Zacks Rank of a security). The individual style scores for Value, Growth, Momentum and the combined VGM Score run from A through F. Investors should consider the style scores a valuable tool that can help you to pick the most appropriate Zacks Rank stocks based on their individual investment style.

Expeditors International has a Value Score of D. The stock's Growth and Momentum Scores are B and A, respectively, giving the company a VGM Score of B.

In terms of its value breakdown, the stock currently trades at 27.3X current fiscal year EPS estimates, which is a premium to the peer industry average of 26.3X. On a trailing cash flow basis, the stock currently trades at 28.3X versus its peer group's average of 8.5X. Additionally, the stock has a PEG ratio of 3.04. This isn't enough to put the company in the top echelon of all stocks we cover from a value perspective.

Zacks RankWe also need to consider the stock's Zacks Rank, as this supersedes any trend on the style score front. Fortunately, Expeditors International currently has a Zacks Rank of #2 (Buy) thanks to favorable earnings estimate revisions from covering analysts.

Since we recommend that investors select stocks carrying Zacks Rank of 1 (Strong Buy) or 2 (Buy) and Style Scores of A or B, it looks as if Expeditors International fits the bill. Thus, it seems as though Expeditors International shares could have a bit more room to run in the near term.

How Does EXPD Stack Up to the Competition?Shares of EXPD have been soaring, and the company still appears to be a decent choice, but what about the rest of the industry? One industry peer that looks good is Matson, Inc. (MATX - Free Report) . MATX has a Zacks Rank of #2 (Buy) and a Value Score of B, a Growth Score of C, and a Momentum Score of B.

Earnings were strong last quarter. Matson, Inc. beat our consensus estimate by 12.12%, and for the current fiscal year, MATX is expected to post earnings of $14.16 per share on revenue of $3.45 billion.

Shares of Matson, Inc. have gained 16.2% over the past month, and currently trade at a forward P/E of 15.69X and a P/CF of 9.3X.

The Transportation - Services industry is in the top 38% of all the industries we have in our universe, so it looks like there are some nice tailwinds for EXPD and MATX, even beyond their own solid fundamental situation.

LCID shares declined $1.13 per share (11.35%) following the first corrective disclosure and an additional $0.44 per share (4.76%) after preliminary financials were released. The window to apply for lead plaintiff closes on July 28, 2026.

February 24, 2026: Assurances of stability. March 12, 2026: Promises of execution. April 3, 2026: Disclosure of a 29-day delivery disruption. April 14, 2026: Disclosed preliminary revenues would be only $280-284 million, significantly below the $433.8 million expected. Between these dates, LCID shareholders allege they were denied material information about a supplier crisis already underway.

February 24, 2026 — Post-Market Earnings Release and Investor Call

Lucid reported Q4 and full-year 2025 results, touting record deliveries and what the lawsuit contends were misleading characterizations of operational progress. The securities action alleges that, at the time these statements were made, a supplier quality crisis involving unauthorized changes to Lucid Gravity second-row seat components was already disrupting February deliveries.

March 12, 2026 — Investor Day Presentation

Lucid held a comprehensive investor day, as claimed in the complaint, emphasizing near-term execution, scaling of the Gravity SUV, and a path to profitability. No mention was made of the ongoing delivery halt or recall affecting 4,476 vehicles.

April 3, 2026 — Q1 Production and Delivery Disclosure

Lucid revealed it had produced 5,500 vehicles but delivered only 3,093, far below the 5,237 deliveries analysts expected. The company disclosed for the first time that Gravity deliveries had been disrupted for 29 days due to a supplier quality issue with second-row seats.

April 14, 2026 — Preliminary Financial Results and Capital Raise

Lucid filed a Form 8-K reporting preliminary Q1 2026 revenue of $280 million to $284 million and operating losses approaching $1 billion. The same day, Lucid announced a $1.05 billion capital raise, including a $300 million public stock offering.

Timeline of Alleged Disclosure Failures

Late February 2026: Deliveries were "particularly hit" due to a pause to reverse an unauthorized supplier change and inspect vehicles already produced, as alleged in the complaintFebruary 24-25, 2026: Executives publicly described operations as "repeatable" and "structural" while the supplier disruption was allegedly already underwayMarch 12, 2026: Investor day materials emphasized execution and scaling without disclosing the 29-day delivery haltApril 3, 2026: First public acknowledgment of the disruption, more than a month after it began impacting deliveriesApril 14, 2026: Revenue miss of over $150 million versus consensus confirmed the financial magnitude of the concealed disruptionApril 15, 2026: TD Cowen slashed its price target from $19.00 to $10.00, citing Gravity ramp challenges and execution concerns "Timely disclosure of material developments is fundamental to fair and efficient markets. The chronology in this case raises important questions about whether investors received information about known delivery disruptions when they should have." — Joseph E. Levi, Esq.

Levi & Korsinsky Reminds Shareholders of a Lead Plaintiff Deadline of August 24, 2026 in ZoomInfo Technologies, Inc. Lawsuit - GTM
ZI ZoomInfo Technologies
FMP Stock News
Original source text
NEW YORK, July 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Levi & Korsinsky, LLP examines the adequacy of ZoomInfo Technologies, Inc.'s (NASDAQ: GTM) risk disclosures during the period between November 3, 2025 and May 11, 2026. A securities class action has been filed on behalf of investors who suffered losses. Find out if you qualify to recover losses from inadequate disclosures. You may also contact Joseph E. Levi, Esq. at [email protected] or (212) 363-7500.

Shares fell $1.98 per share, a 33% decline, after ZoomInfo revealed a sharp deterioration in its 2026 growth outlook on May 11, 2026, slashing full-year guidance that had been set just three months earlier.

What the Company Disclosed

Throughout the Class Period, ZoomInfo's public filings and earnings presentations contained forward-looking statements about revenue growth, net revenue retention improvement, and the trajectory of its AI-driven product suite. The Company's fiscal 2026 guidance projected revenue of $1.247 billion to $1.267 billion, representing positive 1% annual growth at the midpoint. SEC filings included standard cautionary language warning that actual results could differ from projections.

What the Complaint Challenges as Missing

The securities action contends that these disclosures failed to address specific, material risks that were already affecting ZoomInfo's business:

Customers were actively migrating from legacy seat-based subscription platforms toward consumption-based usage models, undermining the renewal economics that supported guidanceDownmarket customer retention was weakening in ways not reflected in the aggregate 90% NRR figure highlighted to investorsEnterprise customers were developing internal AI-driven go-to-market solutions that competed directly with ZoomInfo's core value propositionThe Operations suite's 20% year-over-year growth, while real, was insufficient to offset accelerating churn in the legacy seat-based businessThe Company's transition from seat-based pricing to Data-as-a-Service models carried execution risks that were not quantified or meaningfully addressed in risk factor disclosures Why Generic Warnings Allegedly Failed Investors

The complaint challenges the adequacy of ZoomInfo's cautionary language by drawing a distinction between hypothetical risks and risks that had already begun to materialize. As pleaded, the Company's boilerplate warnings about competitive pressures and customer purchasing patterns did not disclose that specific, quantifiable headwinds were already eroding the business assumptions underlying the fiscal 2026 outlook.

While executives publicly described "a lot in the positive column" and expressed confidence in "sustainably delivering revenue growth," the lawsuit maintains that known internal trends contradicted these assurances. The gap between what was disclosed generically and what was allegedly known specifically is at the center of the disclosure adequacy claims.

"Generic risk factor language cannot substitute for disclosing specific, known problems that are already affecting a company's operations. When a company's own internal metrics show deterioration that contradicts public guidance, investors deserve more than boilerplate cautionary statements." -- Joseph E. Levi, Esq.

Management indicated that the divestiture separates businesses with differing operating characteristics and strategic priorities. While the Channel Network business operated under a different business model and margin profile, the retained assets are expected to remain central to Kartoon Studios' long-term strategy of expanding revenues through intellectual property commercialization and licensing opportunities.

Chairman and chief executive officer Andy Heyward said that the transaction is intended to create a more focused organization by concentrating resources on businesses that align with the company's strategic direction. He added that retaining the core creative assets and intellectual property positions the company to continue building and monetizing its franchise portfolio.

From an investor perspective, the sale underscores Kartoon Studios' continued emphasis on becoming a more IP-centric entertainment company. By exiting a non-core operating business while preserving the ownership of established franchises, the company aims to allocate capital and management attention toward higher-margin opportunities tied to content ownership, licensing and brand expansion.

Although the cash proceeds from the transaction are relatively modest at $500,000, the strategic significance lies in simplifying the company's operating structure and reinforcing its focus on assets that have the potential to generate recurring revenues through distribution, licensing and consumer products initiatives.

JetBlue wins Spirit slots at LaGuardia Airport, eyes move to Marine Air Terminal as airlines fight for space
JBLU JetBlue Airways
FMP Stock News
Original source text
JetBlue Airways has won Spirit Airlines slots at New York's LaGuardia Airport and is looking to move back into the failed budget carrier's old home, a major reshuffling at the congested airport less than three months after the discounter collapsed in the biggest U.S. airline failure in decades.

The slots at the tightly controlled airport are for 12 round-trip flights and are still subject to final court and regulatory approvals, JetBlue said.

Slots and gates are valuable in congested airports like LaGuardia because tight airspace restrictions and crowded airports in a big city like New York cap airline growth.

Carriers have turned to using larger planes that fit more passengers to boost their capacity in some cases because infrastructure is so limited.

JetBlue told staff in a note Monday, which was seen by CNBC, that it's now turning to "evaluating our plans for the slots as we consider opportunities for our network strategy" noting that any expansion won't happen until 2027.

According to the note, JetBlue wants to move to Terminal A, also known as the Marine Air Terminal, an Art Deco facility that Spirit operated out of until it shut down in early May. JetBlue previously operated out of the space before relocating to a newer terminal years ago.

"It's a convenient terminal travelers love," JetBlue said of the Marine Air Terminal.

JetBlue Boosts Customer Convenience With ClarityPay Financing
JBLU JetBlue Airways
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways JetBlue now offers eligible travelers financing on its website and mobile app. A 0% APR offer for up to 12 months may attract price-conscious customers and higher-value trips. ClarityPay users earn TrueBlue points, with deeper loyalty integrations planned later this year. JetBlue Airways Corporation’s (JBLU - Free Report) partnership with ClarityPay marks another step in the carrier’s efforts to enhance the customer booking experience by offering greater payment flexibility. By allowing eligible customers to finance travel purchases directly on JBLU’s website and mobile app, the airline lowers the upfront financial burden of booking trips, which could encourage demand, particularly for higher-value itineraries and discretionary leisure travel.

The introductory 0% APR offer for financing terms of up to 12 months is likely to attract price-conscious travelers and may help JetBlue drive more direct bookings. Direct bookings are strategically important because they reduce reliance on third-party travel agencies, lower distribution costs and enable the airline to maintain stronger customer relationships while retaining valuable booking data.

The partnership also complements JBLU’s loyalty strategy. Customers using ClarityPay will continue to earn TrueBlue points on eligible purchases, and the company plans to introduce deeper loyalty integrations later this year. These enhancements could strengthen customer engagement, encourage repeat travel and improve the overall value proposition of the TrueBlue program.

Overall, the initiative aligns with JetBlue’s broader focus on personalization and digital innovation. By combining flexible financing with loyalty rewards, the airline is expanding the range of payment choices available to customers while creating opportunities to boost direct sales, customer retention and long-term revenue growth.

Dell Technologies Inc. (DELL) Is a Trending Stock: Facts to Know Before Betting on It
DELL Dell
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Dell Technologies (DELL - Free Report) is one of the stocks most watched by Zacks.com visitors lately. So, it might be a good idea to review some of the factors that might affect the near-term performance of the stock.

Over the past month, shares of this computer and technology services provider have returned -3.2%, compared to the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +0.6% change. During this period, the Zacks Computer - Micro Computers industry, which Dell Technologies falls in, has gained 11.7%. The key question now is: What could be the stock's future direction?

While media releases or rumors about a substantial change in a company's business prospects usually make its stock 'trending' and lead to an immediate price change, there are always some fundamental facts that eventually dominate the buy-and-hold decision-making.

Revisions to Earnings EstimatesHere at Zacks, we prioritize appraising the change in the projection of a company's future earnings over anything else.

Dell Technologies is expected to post earnings of $4.89 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +110.8%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate has changed +1.7%.

The consensus earnings estimate of $18.8 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +82.5%. This estimate has changed +0.9% over the last 30 days.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $22.76 indicates a change of +21.1% from what Dell Technologies is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed +1.4%.

Having a strong externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, offers a more conclusive picture of a stock's price direction in the near term, since it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. Due to the size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, Dell Technologies is rated Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy).

The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:

12 Month EPS

Projected Revenue GrowthWhile earnings growth is arguably the most superior indicator of a company's financial health, nothing happens as such if a business isn't able to grow its revenues. After all, it's nearly impossible for a company to increase its earnings for an extended period without increasing its revenues. So, it's important to know a company's potential revenue growth.

In the case of Dell Technologies, the consensus sales estimate of $46.48 billion for the current quarter points to a year-over-year change of +56.1%. The $174.48 billion and $190.75 billion estimates for the current and next fiscal years indicate changes of +53.7% and +9.3%, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryDell Technologies reported revenues of $43.84 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +87.5%. EPS of $4.86 for the same period compares with $1.55 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $35.46 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +23.62%. The EPS surprise was +59.87%.

While comparing the current values of a company's valuation multiples, such as price-to-earnings (P/E), price-to-sales (P/S), and price-to-cash flow (P/CF), with its own historical values helps determine whether its stock is fairly valued, overvalued, or undervalued, comparing the company relative to its peers on these parameters gives a good sense of the reasonability of the stock's price.

Dell Technologies is graded C on this front, indicating that it is trading at par with its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

ConclusionThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Dell Technologies. However, its Zacks Rank #1 does suggest that it may outperform the broader market in the near term.

Should You Invest in Applied Materials (AMAT) Based on Bullish Wall Street Views?
AMAT Applied Materials
FMP Stock News
Original source text
The recommendations of Wall Street analysts are often relied on by investors when deciding whether to buy, sell, or hold a stock. Media reports about these brokerage-firm-employed (or sell-side) analysts changing their ratings often affect a stock's price. Do they really matter, though?

Before we discuss the reliability of brokerage recommendations and how to use them to your advantage, let's see what these Wall Street heavyweights think about Applied Materials (AMAT - Free Report) .

Applied Materials currently has an average brokerage recommendation (ABR) of 1.45, on a scale of 1 to 5 (Strong Buy to Strong Sell), calculated based on the actual recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell, etc.) made by 38 brokerage firms. An ABR of 1.45 approximates between Strong Buy and Buy.

Of the 38 recommendations that derive the current ABR, 28 are Strong Buy and three are Buy. Strong Buy and Buy respectively account for 73.7% and 7.9% of all recommendations.

Brokerage Recommendation Trends for AMAT

Check price target & stock forecast for Applied Materials here>>>

While the ABR calls for buying Applied Materials, it may not be wise to make an investment decision solely based on this information. Several studies have shown limited to no success of brokerage recommendations in guiding investors to pick stocks with the best price increase potential.

Are you wondering why? The vested interest of brokerage firms in a stock they cover often results in a strong positive bias of their analysts in rating it. Our research shows that for every "Strong Sell" recommendation, brokerage firms assign five "Strong Buy" recommendations.

In other words, their interests aren't always aligned with retail investors, rarely indicating where the price of a stock could actually be heading. Therefore, the best use of this information could be validating your own research or an indicator that has proven to be highly successful in predicting a stock's price movement.

Zacks Rank, our proprietary stock rating tool with an impressive externally audited track record, categorizes stocks into five groups, ranging from Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) to Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell), and is an effective indicator of a stock's price performance in the near future. Therefore, using the ABR to validate the Zacks Rank could be an efficient way of making a profitable investment decision.

Zacks Rank Should Not Be Confused With ABRIn spite of the fact that Zacks Rank and ABR both appear on a scale from 1 to 5, they are two completely different measures.

Broker recommendations are the sole basis for calculating the ABR, which is typically displayed in decimals (such as 1.28). The Zacks Rank, on the other hand, is a quantitative model designed to harness the power of earnings estimate revisions. It is displayed in whole numbers -- 1 to 5.

Analysts employed by brokerage firms have been and continue to be overly optimistic with their recommendations. Since the ratings issued by these analysts are more favorable than their research would support because of the vested interest of their employers, they mislead investors far more often than they guide.

On the other hand, earnings estimate revisions are at the core of the Zacks Rank. And empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.

In addition, the different Zacks Rank grades are applied proportionately to all stocks for which brokerage analysts provide current-year earnings estimates. In other words, this tool always maintains a balance among its five ranks.

There is also a key difference between the ABR and Zacks Rank when it comes to freshness. When you look at the ABR, it may not be up-to-date. Nonetheless, since brokerage analysts constantly revise their earnings estimates to reflect changing business trends, and their actions get reflected in the Zacks Rank quickly enough, it is always timely in predicting future stock prices.

Is AMAT a Good Investment? In terms of earnings estimate revisions for Applied Materials, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has increased 0.3% over the past month to $12.14.

Analysts' growing optimism over the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by strong agreement among them in revising EPS estimates higher, could be a legitimate reason for the stock to soar in the near term.

The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) for Applied Materials. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>>

Therefore, the Buy-equivalent ABR for Applied Materials may serve as a useful guide for investors.

Je společnost Nike „opravitelná“? Patria Stock News
Original source text

Nike dosahuje návratnosti investovaného kapitálu asi 12 % a návratnosti vlastního jmění u 22 %.

To ukazuje tzv. volný tok hotovosti FCF. Tedy to, co zbude z provozního toku hotovosti poté, co firmy zainvestuje.

Investors Heavily Search Western Digital Corporation (WDC): Here is What You Need to Know
WDC Western Digital
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Western Digital (WDC - Free Report) has been one of the most searched-for stocks on Zacks.com lately. So, you might want to look at some of the facts that could shape the stock's performance in the near term.

Shares of this maker of hard drives for businesses and personal computers have returned -36.1% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +0.6% change. The Zacks Computer- Storage Devices industry, to which Western Digital belongs, has lost 30.6% over this period.

Our analysis is essentially based on how sell-side analysts covering the stock are revising their earnings estimates to take the latest business trends into account. When earnings estimates for a company go up, the fair value for its stock goes up as well. And when a stock's fair value is higher than its current market price, investors tend to buy the stock, resulting in its price moving upward. Because of this, empirical studies indicate a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and short-term stock price movements.

For the current quarter, Western Digital is expected to post earnings of $3.35 per share, indicating a change of +101.8% from the year-ago quarter. The Zacks Consensus Estimate remained unchanged over the last 30 days.

For the current fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $10.07 points to a change of +104.3% from the prior year. Over the last 30 days, this estimate has remained unchanged.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $18.64 indicates a change of +85.1% from what Western Digital is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed +1.7%.

Having a strong externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, offers a more conclusive picture of a stock's price direction in the near term, since it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. Due to the size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, Western Digital is rated Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy).

In the case of Western Digital, the consensus sales estimate of $3.7 billion for the current quarter points to a year-over-year change of +42.2%. The $12.88 billion and $17.78 billion estimates for the current and next fiscal years indicate changes of -3% and +38.1%, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryWestern Digital reported revenues of $3.34 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +45.5%. EPS of $2.72 for the same period compares with $1.36 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $3.24 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +3.12%. The EPS surprise was +12.86%.

The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters. The company topped consensus revenue estimates each time over this period.

Western Digital is graded F on this front, indicating that it is trading at a premium to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

ConclusionThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Western Digital. However, its Zacks Rank #1 does suggest that it may outperform the broader market in the near term.

Banking giant names 7 stocks to buy after memory equities sell-off
WDC Western Digital
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Morgan Stanley has identified seven semiconductor and AI infrastructure stocks as attractive buying opportunities following the recent selloff in memory-related equities.

In a note on Monday,  the banking giant argued that underlying demand from data centers remains strong despite weakness in consumer-facing technology markets.

To this end, the banking giant highlighted Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU), Sandisk (NASDAQ: SNDK), Seagate Technology (NASDAQ: STX), SK Hynix, Western Digital (NASDAQ: WDC), Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), and Broadcom (NASDAQ: AVGO) as stocks that could benefit from continued artificial intelligence-driven demand.

The call comes after memory stocks experienced a sharp correction amid broader semiconductor sector weakness.

Recent market volatility has weighed on major memory names, with investors concerned about valuation levels and mixed demand signals from consumer electronics, PCs, and smartphones.

According to Morgan Stanley, the current memory cycle differs from previous cycles because demand is being driven almost entirely by AI data centers rather than traditional consumer markets.

While slowing demand in PCs and smartphones has contributed to recent stock declines, the firm said conversations with data center customers indicate memory shortages remain severe.

The bank expects memory prices to rise by at least 25% between the second and third quarters, exceeding both its own forecasts and broader industry estimates.

Memory shortages to extend  It also believes concerns about memory shortages extending into 2027 and 2028 remain intact due to growing AI infrastructure requirements.

Morgan Stanley noted that memory stocks are not its preferred risk-reward opportunity within the semiconductor sector.

Instead, it continues to favor Nvidia and Broadcom, arguing that the two companies offer the strongest exposure to the ongoing AI infrastructure buildout.

Nevertheless, the firm believes recent weakness has made memory stocks increasingly attractive relative to their growth prospects.

The bullish outlook contrasts with growing concerns about the semiconductor sector after the PHLX Semiconductor Index entered bear market territory, falling more than 20% from its recent peak.

PHLX Semiconductor Index chart. Source: Barchart Despite the pullback, analysts across Wall Street continue to view AI spending as a long-term growth driver for chipmakers and memory suppliers.

QUICK SPARK: Yum! Brands May Soon Serve Traders a Death Cross
YUM Yum! Brands
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Yum! Brands Inc. (NYSE:YUM) is approaching a closely watched bearish technical milestone after a sharp pullback erased much of its recent rally.

Chart created using Benzinga Pro

The stock’s 50-day simple moving average is hovering just above its 200-day moving average, putting Yum! Brands on the verge of forming a Death Cross—a technical pattern that occurs when the shorter-term trend falls below the longer-term trend. While the signal isn’t confirmed yet, traders often view it as a sign that downside momentum is strengthening.

Shares have retreated from their recent highs, with momentum indicators also weakening. The stock’s RSI (relative strength index) has slipped to around 35, approaching oversold territory, while the MACD (moving average convergence/divergence) remains bearish, suggesting selling pressure has continued to build.

About Yum! BrandsYum! Brands, the world’s largest restaurant company by system units and the parent of KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, has generally been viewed as a defensive consumer name. That makes the developing technical setup notable, particularly as investors assess the outlook for consumer spending and restaurant traffic.

A Death Cross doesn’t guarantee further losses, and the pattern has produced mixed results historically. However, if the 50-day moving average falls below the 200-day in the coming sessions, it could attract additional attention from technically focused traders watching for confirmation of a longer-term bearish trend.

Ovintiv to Report Q2 Earnings: What's in the Offing for the Stock?
OVV Ovintiv
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways OVV is set to report Q2 2026 earnings on July 23; consensus sees EPS of $1.99 and revenues of $2.4B.OVV expects lower oil output, while plant turnarounds and higher royalties may pressure results.Ovintiv may benefit from strong well productivity, lower spending and higher free cash flow support. Ovintiv Inc. (OVV - Free Report) is set to release second-quarter results on July 23. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for earnings is pegged at $1.99 per share on revenues of $2.4 billion.

Let us delve into the factors that might have influenced OVV’s performance in the to-be-reported quarter. Before that, it is worth taking a look at the company’s performance in the last reported quarter.

Highlights of OVV’s Q1 Earnings & Surprise HistoryIn the last reported quarter, the Denver, CO-based oil and gas exploration and production company beat the consensus mark, driven by higher plant condensate, natural gas liquids and natural gas production volumes and higher average realized natural gas prices. OVV reported adjusted earnings per share of $2, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.85. Total revenues of $2.5 billion beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 6.5%, fueled by higher product and service revenues. The company’s earnings beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate in three of the trailing four quarters, missing in one, delivering an average surprise of 13.6%.

This is depicted in the chart below:

Trend in OVV’s Estimate RevisionThe Zacks Consensus Estimate for second-quarter 2026 earnings witnessed a downward movement of 7% in the past seven days. The estimated figure indicates 95.1% year-over-year growth. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for revenues also implies a rise of about 1.4% from the year-ago period.

Factors to Consider Ahead of OVV’s Q2 ResultsOvintiv has a well-established presence in some of North America’s highest-quality basins, primarily the Montney, Anadarko and the Permian Basin. The company's acreage includes a premium inventory of high-quality, liquids-rich locations with an attractive mix of drilled but uncompleted wells, which can be quickly brought into production.

Ovintiv's second-quarter 2026 results could face pressure from lower production, as management expects oil and condensate output to decline sequentially to around 203,000 barrels per day from the first quarter's 225,000 barrels per day. The Montney business is likely to remain a drag due to planned plant turnarounds and higher royalty rates, which will reduce reported net volumes despite healthy underlying operations. The company also acknowledged uncertainty surrounding global supply-demand fundamentals and maintained a conservative stay-flat production strategy instead of pursuing higher output. Additionally, higher diesel costs and a normalization of transportation and processing expenses after one-time first-quarter benefits could weigh on margins and profitability in the quarter to be reported.

But on a bullish note, Ovintiv could still deliver an earnings beat, supported by strong well productivity in both the Permian and Montney, continued operational efficiencies and lower capital spending. Management expects higher commodity prices to boost free cash flow, while cost savings from the NuVista integration and resilient production performance are likely to partially offset royalty-related volume headwinds. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for second-quarter revenues is expected to have increased from the year-ago quarter’s $2.32 billion. Our model also projects that the company’s second-quarter operating expenses will be $1.6 billion, a sharp decline from the year-ago quarter’s $1.8 billion.

What Does Our Model Predict for OVV?Our proven model does not predict an earnings beat for Ovintiv this time around. The combination of a positive Earnings ESP and a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), 2 (Buy) or 3 (Hold) increases the chances of an earnings beat. However, this is not the case here.

Will Rising Demand for Public Cloud Services Benefit NetApp?
NTAP NetApp
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways NTAP's Public Cloud revenue grew 11% in Q4 fiscal 2026, led by first-party and marketplace services.NetApp expanded AI cloud use cases, helping customers scale secure hybrid and multi-cloud deployments.NTAP expects enterprise IT spending and AI adoption to sustain cloud storage demand in fiscal 2027. NetApp, Inc. (NTAP - Free Report) is benefiting from rising demand for public cloud services as enterprises continue expanding their cloud environments and increasing AI adoption. The company’s Public Cloud business maintained strong momentum in fiscal 2026, supported by growing demand for hyperscaler first-party and marketplace storage services. In the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, Public Cloud revenue increased 11% year over year to $182 million, while excluding the prior-year contribution from the divested Spot business, revenue grew 18%. Management attributed this performance to strong demand for first-party and marketplace storage services, reflecting customers’ continued adoption of NetApp’s cloud offerings.

For fiscal 2026, Public Cloud revenue reached $688 million. Management stated that first-party and marketplace cloud services grew 30% during the year, driven by increasing demand from both new and existing customers that are extending NetApp’s capabilities deeper into their cloud environments. Customers are using NetApp to simplify and scale hybrid and multi-cloud deployments through unified data management capabilities that provide operational consistency and agility.

The company also noted that its expanding cloud portfolio is creating new opportunities across AI and additional industry verticals. Examples include an insurance company connecting Azure Databricks directly to data stored in Azure NetApp Files for secure financial risk modeling and data science, and an engineering company deploying a GenAI chatbot on AWS using FSx for NetApp ONTAP to enable secure, permission-aware access to data while reducing operational overhead.

Management also emphasized the profitability of the Public Cloud business, with fourth-quarter gross margin reaching 85.7%, driven by continued margin expansion. The company believes that continued growth in Public Cloud can provide additional earnings leverage as the business becomes a larger part of the overall revenue mix.

NetApp’s fiscal 2027 outlook assumes continued momentum in enterprise IT spending alongside increasing AI activity. Management expects these trends to support cloud use cases that connect governed enterprise data with AI and analytics services while sustaining strong demand for first-party and marketplace cloud storage services.

Taking a Look at NTAP’s CompetitorsSeagate Technology Holdings plc (STX - Free Report) is strengthening its position in cloud infrastructure as hyperscale customers continue expanding AI-driven data center capacity. Its HAMR-based high-capacity drives provide a cost- and power-efficient solution for large-scale cloud storage, while long-term supply agreements, build-to-order contracts and sustained hyperscaler investments support strong demand and revenue visibility through 2028 and beyond.

Western Digital Corporation (WDC - Free Report) is strengthening its cloud storage business by delivering high-capacity HDD technologies that support the rapid expansion of AI and hyperscale data centers. The company is working closely with leading cloud providers, shipping 222 exabytes in the quarter, up 34% year over year, while accelerating adoption of its ePMR, UltraSMR and upcoming HAMR technologies. Carvana vs. Sonic: Which Automotive Retailer Is a Better Buy?
CVNA Carvana
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Carvana's retail units surged 40% in Q1 2026, while Sonic expands across auto and powersports.Carvana's ADESA network supports growth, but heavy debt and spending could pressure profitability.Sonic's 2026 EchoPark EBITDA guidance assumes used-vehicle supply and pricing to gradually normalize. Carvana Co. (CVNA - Free Report) and Sonic Automotive, Inc. (SAH - Free Report) are both automotive retailers in the United States. Carvana has transformed car buying with a convenient online experience, letting customers browse used cars from home and choose home delivery or pickup at its iconic car vending machines. Carvana’s end-to-end online business model covers every aspect of used-car retailing, including sales, financing, logistics, inspection and repair centers, as well as software development.

Sonic pursues an omnichannel model and sells new and used cars and light trucks. It offers warranties, service contracts, vehicle financing and insurance. Further, it provides maintenance and repair services, and sells replacement parts and aftermarket automotive products.

Let’s dig deeper and compare the fundamentals of these two auto retailers to determine which is the better investment choice now.

The Case for CVNA StockThe ADESA U.S. acquisition continues to deepen Carvana’s logistics, auction and reconditioning network. As of the first quarter of 2026, Carvana had 16 ADESA integrated sites alongside its inspection and reconditioning centers, and it expects to integrate another 6 to 8 ADESA sites during 2026. The company is also expanding ADESA Clear as its digital wholesale platform. These initiatives increase inventory mobility and expand production options, which can support volume growth while keeping reconditioning buildouts more capital efficient.

ADESA recently announced the launch of ADESA Timed, an enhancement to its digital wholesale platform that enables financial institutions, fleets, rental companies and dealer groups to sell inventory through self-service timed digital auctions using the same technology and tools as ADESA Clear.

The e-commerce platform expects a sequential increase in retail units sold in the second quarter of 2026, and it remains on track to deliver growth in retail units for full-year 2026. Retail units sold rose 40% year over year in the first quarter of 2026 to a record 187,393 units, marking another quarter of outsized growth. The market remains highly fragmented, with Carvana’s share still small. This suggests that there is ample room for the company to expand, especially as more consumers gravitate toward online car buying. In the longer term, the company continues to target selling three million cars per year in the 2030 to 2035 time frame.

SG&A leverage remains visible as volume rises, and the company reported reductions in non-GAAP SG&A expense per retail unit sold versus last year. Carvana posted adjusted EBITDA of $672 million in the first quarter of 2026, a company record compared with $488 million in the year-ago period. Looking to the second quarter of 2026, it expects a sequential increase in adjusted EBITDA, and it reiterated its longer-term goal of reaching a 13.5% adjusted EBITDA margin as scale increases and fixed costs are leveraged.

However, Carvana’s debt load remains sizable. As of March 31, 2026, long-term debt was $4.85 billion, up from $4.83 billion as of Dec. 31, 2025. Its debt-to-capital ratio stands at 0.53 compared with the auto sector’s 0.25. Elevated leverage restricts the firm’s flexibility to tap into growth opportunities.

Carvana is still heavily investing in advertising, technology, automation, facilities and AI-related systems. While these investments are intended to support long-term growth, they also create ongoing cost pressure. Overhead expenses are now at a structurally higher level compared to 2025 due to technology and facility investments. Advertising expense per unit also increased as the company continues aggressively promoting its platform. These spending commitments may delay margin expansion if revenue growth slows or if operational gains take longer than expected to materialize.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for CVNA’s 2026 sales and EPS implies year-over-year growth of 39.2% and a decline of 3%, respectively. EPS estimates for 2026 have improved by a penny in the past seven days. EPS estimates for 2027 have declined 2 cents in the past seven days.

The Case for SAH StockThe buyout of RFJ Auto Partners, completed in 2021, expanded Sonic Automotive’s reach and helped it become one of the top five U.S. dealership groups. In the second quarter of 2025, Sonic acquired four Jaguar and Land Rover dealerships in California and became the largest U.S. retailer of these brands.

Moreover, the acquisition of five Harley-Davidson dealerships has strengthened its diversification strategy and expanded its exposure to the faster-growing powersports retail market. The deal lifts Sonic Powersports to 20 rooftops and 46 franchises, including nine full-service Harley-Davidson dealerships, positioning the unit among the top five U.S. powersports dealer groups. This comes after record 2025 company revenues of $15.2 billion and Powersports revenues of $202.9 million with $11.5 million in adjusted EBITDA, suggesting the segment is scaling from a stronger financial base. Broader brand coverage and entry into active riding markets should support incremental sales, service, parts and merchandise opportunities. The company expects 2026 Powersports adjusted EBITDA to be in the range of $14 to $17 million compared with $11.5 million in 2025.

Sonic’s EchoPark segment operates independently from the franchised dealerships business, sells used cars and light trucks and arranges Finance & Insurance product sales for customers in pre-owned vehicle specialty retail locations. In the first quarter of 2026, EchoPark revenues increased 4% year over year to $580.5 million and adjusted EBITDA reached $18.6 million. A gradual increase in used-vehicle supply and more normalized pricing should support demand and lift EchoPark’s retail unit volumes. Sonic is investing in EchoPark’s digital tools, including its app and broader digital retail platform, to support an omnichannel buying process. For 2026, the company expects high single-digit growth in used retail unit sales volume and total GPU of $3,400 to $3,600, and raised adjusted EBITDA guidance to $35 million to $40 million.

However, the company’s stretched balance sheet remains a concern. SAH ended the first quarter of 2026 with $1.5 billion in long-term debt and just $5.7 million. Long-term debt-to-capital is 0.66 versus the industry’s 0.26.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for SAH’s 2026 sales and EPS implies year-over-year growth of 2.9% and 5.2%, respectively. EPS estimates for 2026 and 2027 have improved 2 cents and 5 cents, respectively, in the past 30 days.

Price Performance of CVNA & SAHCVNA stock has declined 20.2% year to date, while shares of SAH have surged 62.3%. The auto sector has declined 12.2% in the same time frame.

ConclusionWhile Carvana offers stronger growth potential through its scalable e-commerce model, expanding ADESA network and robust retail volume growth, its high debt burden and elevated investments in technology, facilities and advertising could pressure profitability.

In contrast, Sonic benefits from a diversified business model spanning new and used vehicle sales, after-sales services and powersports, while EchoPark provides additional exposure to the growing used-car market. An improved 2026 earnings outlook and stronger EPS growth expectations also enhance prospects. Although Sonic's leverage remains high, its broader revenue base and diversification provide greater stability.

SAH carries a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy), while CVNA has a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold). Moreover, with shares already up sharply, the market appears to recognize Sonic's improving fundamentals, making it a more balanced investment option. UiPath, Inc. (PATH) is Attracting Investor Attention: Here is What You Should Know
PATH UiPath
FMP Stock News
Original source text
UiPath (PATH - Free Report) has been one of the most searched-for stocks on Zacks.com lately. So, you might want to look at some of the facts that could shape the stock's performance in the near term.

Shares of this enterprise automation software developer have returned +18.3% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +0.6% change. The Zacks Internet - Software industry, to which UiPath belongs, has gained 9.4% over this period. Now the key question is: Where could the stock be headed in the near term?

While media releases or rumors about a substantial change in a company's business prospects usually make its stock 'trending' and lead to an immediate price change, there are always some fundamental facts that eventually dominate the buy-and-hold decision-making.

Earnings Estimate RevisionsRather than focusing on anything else, we at Zacks prioritize evaluating the change in a company's earnings projection. This is because we believe the fair value for its stock is determined by the present value of its future stream of earnings.

UiPath is expected to post earnings of $0.15 per share for the current quarter, representing no change from the year-ago quarter. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate remained unchanged.

The consensus earnings estimate of $0.8 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +11.1%. This estimate has remained unchanged over the last 30 days.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $0.9 indicates a change of +12.7% from what UiPath is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has remained unchanged.

With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool -- the Zacks Rank -- is a more conclusive indicator of a stock's near-term price performance, as it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) for UiPath.

The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:

12 Month EPS

Revenue Growth ForecastWhile earnings growth is arguably the most superior indicator of a company's financial health, nothing happens as such if a business isn't able to grow its revenues. After all, it's nearly impossible for a company to increase its earnings for an extended period without increasing its revenues. So, it's important to know a company's potential revenue growth.

For UiPath, the consensus sales estimate for the current quarter of $397.59 million indicates a year-over-year change of +9.9%. For the current and next fiscal years, $1.78 billion and $1.92 billion estimates indicate +10.4% and +8.2% changes, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryUiPath reported revenues of $418.38 million in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +17.3%. EPS of $0.15 for the same period compares with $0.11 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $397.43 million, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +5.27%. The EPS surprise was 0%.

Over the last four quarters, UiPath surpassed consensus EPS estimates three times. The company topped consensus revenue estimates each time over this period.

ValuationNo investment decision can be efficient without considering a stock's valuation. Whether a stock's current price rightly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects is an essential determinant of its future price performance.

UiPath is graded C on this front, indicating that it is trading at par with its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

ConclusionThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about UiPath. However, its Zacks Rank #2 does suggest that it may outperform the broader market in the near term.

Will Medifast's Trilivy Launch Unlock a New Growth Chapter?
MED Medifast
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Medifast launched Trilivy to expand beyond traditional weight management into broader metabolic health.Trilivy combines nutrition, personalized coaching and behavior-based support across three structured phases. Coach productivity and referral-driven client acquisition improved in the first quarter of 2026. Medifast, Inc. (MED - Free Report) has launched Trilivy, a science-backed metabolic health system that expands the company’s focus beyond traditional weight management. The platform combines nutritional products, personalized coaching and behavior-based support while introducing newly formulated meal replacements featuring proprietary ingredient technology intended to support metabolic health.

The launch marks an important strategic shift as GLP-1 medications continue to reshape the weight-loss market and pressure demand for conventional programs. Trilivy emphasizes broader metabolic health, including visceral-fat reduction, lean-mass preservation, healthy metabolism and sustainable lifestyle improvement. This positioning could help MED appeal to consumers seeking longer-term wellness support, including those looking for alternatives or complements to medication-based weight-loss solutions.

Trilivy also builds on Medifast’s established coach-led model. Its three-phase system — Reset, Refine and Renew — integrates nutritional products, individualized support and healthy habits into a structured customer journey. This approach may strengthen the company’s differentiation from product-only competitors by combining science-backed nutrition with accountability and behavioral guidance.

The launch arrives as some operating indicators are beginning to improve. In the first quarter of 2026, coach productivity increased for a second consecutive time, while referral-driven client acquisition gained momentum. Coaches participating in the referral program generated higher acquisition rates than nonparticipants, suggesting that efforts to improve field engagement are yielding encouraging early results.

Overall, Trilivy gives Medifast a clearer framework for repositioning its business around metabolic health. Successful customer adoption, stronger coach participation and improved engagement could help stabilize revenues and support profitability over time, potentially opening a new growth chapter for the Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) company. Major Factors to Impact BX’s Q2 EarningsBlackstone has been recording an increase in fee-earning AUM and total AUM on the back of its diversified product and revenue mix, superior position in the alternative investments space and net inflows. Given the high market volatility and increased client activity in the second quarter, the company is expected to have witnessed a rise in the AUM balance as inflows grew. For new and old investors, taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals. Zacks Premium provides lots of different ways to do both.

The research service features daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, full access to the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens, all of which will help you become a smarter, more confident investor.

Zacks Premium includes access to the Zacks Style Scores as well.

What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores, developed alongside the Zacks Rank, are complementary indicators that rate stocks based on three widely-followed investing methodologies; they also help investors pick stocks with the best chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.

Each stock is given an alphabetic rating of A, B, C, D or F based on their value, growth, and momentum qualities. With this system, an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on, meaning the better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform.

The Style Scores are broken down into four categories:

Value ScoreFinding good stocks at good prices, and discovering which companies are trading under their true value, are what value investors like to focus on. So, the Value Style Score takes into account ratios like P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, Price/Cash Flow, and a host of other multiples to highlight the most attractive and discounted stocks.

Growth ScoreWhile good value is important, growth investors are more focused on a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score takes projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow into account to uncover stocks that will see long-term, sustainable growth.

Momentum ScoreMomentum traders and investors live by the saying "the trend is your friend." This investing style is all about taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook. Employing factors like one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates, the Momentum Style Score can indicate favorable times to build a position in high-momentum stocks.

VGM ScoreWhat if you like to use all three types of investing? The VGM Score is a combination of all Style Scores, making it one of the most comprehensive indicators to use with the Zacks Rank. It rates each stock on their combined weighted styles, which helps narrow down the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum.

How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank, which is a proprietary stock-rating model, employs earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to make building a winning portfolio easier.

#1 (Strong Buy) stocks have produced an unmatched +23.94% average annual return since 1988, which is more than double the S&P 500's performance over the same time frame. However, the Zacks Rank examines a ton of stocks, and there can be more than 200 companies with a Strong Buy rank, and another 600 with a #2 (Buy) rank, on any given day.

But it can feel overwhelming to pick the right stocks for you and your investing goals with over 800 top-rated stocks to choose from.

That's where the Style Scores come in.

To have the best chance of big returns, you'll want to always consider stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B, which will give you the highest probability of success. If you're looking at stocks with a #3 (Hold) rank, it's important they have Scores of A or B as well to ensure as much upside potential as possible.

The direction of a stock's earnings estimate revisions should always be a key factor when choosing which stocks to buy, since the Scores were created to work together with the Zacks Rank.

Here's an example: a stock with a #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell) rating, even one with Style Scores of A and B, still has a downward-trending earnings outlook, and a bigger chance its share price will decrease too.

Thus, the more stocks you own with a #1 or #2 Rank and Scores of A or B, the better.

Momentum investors should take note of this Oils-Energy stock. PBF has a Momentum Style Score of A, and shares are up 68.3% over the past four weeks.

For fiscal 2026, four analysts revised their earnings estimate upwards in the last 60 days, and the Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $3.06 to $9.76 per share. PBF boasts an average earnings surprise of +113.3%.

Is Zscaler (ZS) a Buy as Wall Street Analysts Look Optimistic?
ZS Zscaler
FMP Stock News
Original source text
The recommendations of Wall Street analysts are often relied on by investors when deciding whether to buy, sell, or hold a stock. Media reports about these brokerage-firm-employed (or sell-side) analysts changing their ratings often affect a stock's price. Do they really matter, though?

Let's take a look at what these Wall Street heavyweights have to say about Zscaler (ZS - Free Report) before we discuss the reliability of brokerage recommendations and how to use them to your advantage.

Zscaler currently has an average brokerage recommendation (ABR) of 1.44, on a scale of 1 to 5 (Strong Buy to Strong Sell), calculated based on the actual recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell, etc.) made by 45 brokerage firms. An ABR of 1.44 approximates between Strong Buy and Buy.

Of the 45 recommendations that derive the current ABR, 34 are Strong Buy and two are Buy. Strong Buy and Buy respectively account for 75.6% and 4.4% of all recommendations.

Brokerage Recommendation Trends for ZS

Check price target & stock forecast for Zscaler here>>>

The ABR suggests buying Zscaler, but making an investment decision solely on the basis of this information might not be a good idea. According to several studies, brokerage recommendations have little to no success guiding investors to choose stocks with the most potential for price appreciation.

Zacks Rank Should Not Be Confused With ABRAlthough both Zacks Rank and ABR are displayed in a range of 1--5, they are different measures altogether.

The ABR is calculated solely based on brokerage recommendations and is typically displayed with decimals (example: 1.28). In contrast, the Zacks Rank is a quantitative model allowing investors to harness the power of earnings estimate revisions. It is displayed in whole numbers -- 1 to 5.

It has been and continues to be the case that analysts employed by brokerage firms are overly optimistic with their recommendations. Because of their employers' vested interests, these analysts issue more favorable ratings than their research would support, misguiding investors far more often than helping them.

On the other hand, earnings estimate revisions are at the core of the Zacks Rank. And empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.

Furthermore, the different grades of the Zacks Rank are applied proportionately across all stocks for which brokerage analysts provide earnings estimates for the current year. In other words, at all times, this tool maintains a balance among the five ranks it assigns.

Is ZS Worth Investing In?Looking at the earnings estimate revisions for Zscaler, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has remained unchanged over the past month at $4.14.

Analysts' steady views regarding the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by an unchanged consensus estimate, could be a legitimate reason for the stock to perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for Zscaler. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>>

It may therefore be prudent to be a little cautious with the Buy-equivalent ABR for Zscaler.

ZS' Zero Trust Everywhere Gains Steam: Will It Fuel Revenue Growth?
ZS Zscaler
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Zscaler had more than 700 Zero Trust Everywhere customers, up from over 550 a quarter earlier.ARR rose 25% to $3.5 billion, while remaining performance obligations reached about $6.5 billion at Q3 end.Customers are expanding deployments across user, cloud, branch and data security solutions. Zscaler Inc.’s (ZS - Free Report) Zero Trust Everywhere strategy is becoming an important growth driver as enterprises look to secure users, cloud workloads and branch locations through a single platform. Instead of relying on multiple security products, customers are increasingly adopting Zscaler’s integrated Zero Trust architecture, creating more opportunities for the company to expand revenues from existing accounts.

The adoption trend is gaining momentum. At the end of the third quarter of fiscal 2026, Zscaler had more than 700 Zero Trust Everywhere enterprise customers, up from more than 550 in the previous quarter. These customers use the company’s Zero Trust Users, Zero Trust Cloud and Zero Trust Branch solutions together, reflecting broader platform adoption across organizations.

This strategy is also encouraging larger customer commitments. During the quarter, Zscaler reported annual recurring revenues (ARR) of more than $3.5 billion, up 25% year over year, while remaining performance obligations increased roughly 30% to about $6.5 billion. The company also closed a record number of new annual contract value deals worth more than $1 million during the third quarter.

Customer success stories highlight the opportunity. A healthcare technology company initially sought user security but later expanded its deployment to include Zero Trust Cloud, Zero Trust Branch and multiple data security modules. Existing customers are also increasing spending as they broaden platform adoption.

As cyber threats become more sophisticated and AI workloads continue to grow, enterprises are looking for unified security platforms rather than standalone products. With its expanding Zero Trust Everywhere customer base and strong cross-selling opportunities, Zscaler appears well-positioned to drive sustained revenue growth in the coming years. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for fiscal 2026 and 2027 revenues indicates year-over-year growth of 24.6% and 17.2%, respectively.

How Do Zscaler’s Rivals Compare in Platform Adoption?Cybersecurity companies pursuing a similar platform expansion strategy are Palo Alto Networks, Inc. (PANW - Free Report) and Fortinet, Inc. (FTNT - Free Report) .

Palo Alto Networks has been driving its platformization strategy by encouraging enterprises to replace multiple point products with its integrated security platform. In the third quarter of fiscal 2026, the company generated more than $3 billion in revenues, up 31% year over year, while next-generation security ARR climbed 60% to $8.13 billion. Its broad portfolio across network security, cloud security and security operations enables customers to consolidate vendors, increasing cross-selling opportunities and recurring revenues.

Fortinet is also expanding its unified cybersecurity platform through Secure Networking, Unified SASE and Security Operations solutions. In the first quarter of 2026, the company reported revenues of approximately $1.85 billion, up 20% year over year, while Unified SASE billings rose 23%. Fortinet continues to benefit as enterprises modernize branch security and adopt integrated security architectures.

Zscaler’s Price Performance, Valuation & EstimatesZS shares have plunged 33.3% year to date against the Zacks Security industry’s surge of 73.5%.

ConocoPhillips to Participate in BP's Redevelopment Project in Iraq
COP ConocoPhillips
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways ConocoPhillips agreed to terms to acquire a 42% stake in BP's unit redeveloping four Iraqi oil fields. The $25 billion project covers fields with more than 3 billion boe of initial gross recoverable resources.Existing production lowers execution risk, while exploration upside may support long-term growth. ConocoPhillips (COP - Free Report) , a leading U.S.-based exploration and production player, has announced that it has agreed to acquire a 42% stake in BP Energy Company of Kirkuk Limited (BP ECKL), a subsidiary of the British energy major BP plc (BP - Free Report) . The subsidiary is involved in the redevelopment of four large oil fields with producing wells in the Kirkuk region of Iraq. Through this partnership, COP will support the ongoing redevelopment efforts for these oil fields. The announcement mentioned that the agreement is anticipated to be signed during Iraq’s Prime Minister al-Zaidi's visit to Washington, D.C., in the United States.

BP ECKL operates under the Development and Production Contract (DPC), which enables it to develop and produce oil from the prominent Baba and Avanah domes of the Kirkuk oil field. The DPC also covers the Bai Hassan, Jambur and Khabbaz oil fields, all of which are currently producing. These fields have an estimated initial gross recoverable resource surpassing 3 billion barrels of oil equivalent (boe), highlighting significant resource potential.

The companies intend to recover these reserves via rehabilitation and upgradation of existing field infrastructure, redevelopment activities and optimization of field operations to improve efficiency. The joint venture project at the giant Kirkuk oil field is estimated to cost around $25 billion.

In addition to raising output from the existing fields, the contract area has exploration potential, suggesting the region may contain untapped oil and gas resources that could be developed later, supporting long-term production growth. The deal is expected to close by the end of 2026, pending necessary regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

COP believes that the oil fields included in this project are high-quality assets capable of generating attractive returns. The company’s CEO noted that this redevelopment opportunity aligns with ConocoPhillips’ disciplined approach to capital allocation, while providing exposure to a high-quality, long-life and large asset base that can benefit the company. The project leverages an existing production base, making it capital-efficient, while reducing execution risk and enabling it to generate returns faster. The deal will expand the company’s international portfolio of assets and is expected to boost its total production in the future. The company noted that the redevelopment of these large, established oilfields meets its low cost of supply criteria, while offering exploration upside.

Zacks Rank & Key PicksConocoPhillips and BP currently carry a Zacks Rank #4 (Sell).

Here's Why Targa Resources, Inc. (TRGP) is a Strong Growth Stock
TRGP Targa Resources
FMP Stock News
Original source text
It doesn't matter your age or experience: taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals for all investors. Luckily, Zacks Premium offers several different ways to do both.

Featuring daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, full access to the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens, the research service can help you become a smarter, more self-assured investor.

Zacks Premium includes access to the Zacks Style Scores as well.

What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores is a unique set of guidelines that rates stocks based on three popular investing types, and were developed as complementary indicators for the Zacks Rank. This combination helps investors choose securities with the highest chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.

Each stock is assigned a rating of A, B, C, D, or F based on their value, growth, and momentum characteristics. Just like in school, an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on -- that means the better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform.

Growth ScoreGrowth investors, on the other hand, are more concerned with a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score examines things like projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow to find stocks that will experience sustainable growth over time.

Momentum ScoreMomentum investors, who live by the saying "the trend is your friend," are most interested in taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook. Utilizing one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates, among other factors, the Momentum Style Score can help determine favorable times to buy high-momentum stocks.

VGM ScoreIf you want a combination of all three Style Scores, then the VGM Score will be your friend. It rates each stock on their combined weighted styles, helping you find the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum. It's also one of the best indicators to use with the Zacks Rank.

How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank is a proprietary stock-rating model that harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to help investors build a successful portfolio.

This totals more than 800 top-rated stocks, and it can be overwhelming to try and pick the best stocks for you and your portfolio.

That's where the Style Scores come in.

You want to make sure you're buying stocks with the highest likelihood of success, and to do that, you'll need to pick stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B. If you like a stock that only has a #3 (Hold) rank, it should also have Scores of A or B to guarantee as much upside potential as possible.

Since the Scores were created to work together with the Zacks Rank, the direction of a stock's earnings estimate revisions should be a key factor when choosing which stocks to buy.

A stock with a #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell) rating, for instance, even one with Scores of A and B, will still have a declining earnings forecast, and a greater chance its share price will fall too.

Thus, the more stocks you own with a #1 or #2 Rank and Scores of A or B, the better.

Stock to Watch: Targa Resources, Inc. (TRGP - Free Report) Targa Resources Corp. is a premier energy infrastructure company. A leading provider of integrated midstream services in North America, the Houston, TX based operator primarily derives its revenues from gathering, compressing, treating, processing and selling natural gas. Targa Resources also provides services associated with natural gas liquids (“NGL”), including those to liquefied petroleum gas (“LPG”) exporters - and crude oil.

TRGP is a #3 (Hold) on the Zacks Rank, with a VGM Score of B.

Additionally, the company could be a top pick for growth investors. TRGP has a Growth Style Score of B, forecasting year-over-year earnings growth of 26.6% for the current fiscal year.

Two analysts revised their earnings estimate higher in the last 60 days for fiscal 2026, while the Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.09 to $10.75 per share. TRGP also boasts an average earnings surprise of +10.2%.

With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Growth and VGM Style Scores, TRGP should be on investors' short list.

Natural Gas Ends Week Down 1%, but Is the Outlook Improving?
LNG Cheniere Energy
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Natural gas ended the week down 1%, though Friday's rebound hinted at firmer market support.Hot weather, tighter storage builds and improving LNG flows could gradually tighten the market.LNG, WMB and EE offer exposure to gas exports, pipelines and floating LNG infrastructure. Natural gas prices finished a volatile week lower, but Friday’s rebound suggested that the market may be finding support. Summer power demand, global supply worries and improving liquefied natural gas expectations offset pressure from ample U.S. inventories.

At this time, investors may focus on natural gas-linked stocks like Cheniere Energy (LNG - Free Report) , The Williams Companies (WMB - Free Report) and Excelerate Energy (EE - Free Report) , which offer exposure to pipeline, gas export and floating liquefied natural gas infrastructure themes.

Weekly Price Action Stays Mixed

Nymex natural gas settled at $2.911/MMBtu, up 1.9% on the final trading day but down 1% for the week. Prices came under pressure early in the week as rising production, softer demand expectations and lower flows to Freeport LNG weighed on sentiment. They recovered briefly as hotter weather increased cooling demand before falling again after a 41 billion cubic feet (Bcf) storage injection reinforced the inventory surplus. Natural gas prices ended the week on a stronger note, supported by firmer European gas prices and concerns that Middle East tensions could boost demand for U.S. liquefied natural gas (“LNG”).

Natural Gas Storage Still Caps the Upside

Storage remains the main restraint. Working gas totaled 3,024 Bcf for the week ended July 10. That was 181 Bcf above the five-year average, though 21 Bcf below year-ago levels. The 41 Bcf injection was smaller than the five-year average build of 45 Bcf. That gives bulls some support, but the surplus is still large enough to limit rallies.

Weather and LNG Offer Support

Hot weather continues to support natural gas demand. As temperatures rise, households and businesses use more air conditioning, increasing electricity consumption. Since a large share of U.S. electricity is generated by natural gas-fired power plants, higher power demand also leads to greater natural gas consumption.

LNG exports could provide another source of support. Feedgas demand has been lower because of maintenance at the Freeport LNG export facility. Once normal operations resume, more natural gas is likely to flow to LNG export plants. Strong natural gas prices in Europe and ongoing tensions in the Middle East are also keeping global demand for U.S. LNG in focus.

Natural Gas Outlook Improving, but Patience Is Needed

The outlook for natural gas is not broadly bullish yet, but it is better than what the weekly loss suggests. Prices still face solid U.S. production and comfortable inventories. Even so, below-average storage injections, summer cooling demand and improving LNG flows could gradually tighten the market if these trends persist. That backdrop gives natural gas-focused investors a more balanced setup than what the headline weekly decline implies.

For investors, the setup argues for patience rather than pessimism. Natural gas may remain range-bound until inventories fall more clearly or weather turns more supportive, but downside pressure looks less one-sided than it did earlier in the week. A recovery in export demand, continued power-sector consumption, and firm global gas prices could help sentiment improve through late summer.

3 Stocks to Focus On

Cheniere Energy: It is a leading U.S. LNG producer and exporter, operating large-scale facilities along the Gulf Coast. Since starting exports in 2016, it has grown into the largest LNG producer in the United States, supplying customers across more than 40 global markets with reliable and cleaner-burning energy.

Backed by firm gas supply agreements for its Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi facilities, this Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) company enjoys strong cash flow visibility and solid long-term growth prospects. Cheniere Energy beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate for earnings in three of the last four quarters and missed in the other. It has a trailing four-quarter earnings surprise of roughly 75%, on average. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

The Williams Companies: U.S. natural gas demand is projected to grow significantly in the long term, and The Williams Companies seems to be well-positioned to capitalize on the same, owing to its impressive portfolio of large-scale value-creating projects. With its extensive network handling a third of the U.S. natural gas and significant expansion projects in the pipeline, Zacks Rank #3 (Hold), Williams is set to benefit from favorable industry dynamics and growth prospects.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for the company’s 2026 earnings per share indicates 11.9% year-over-year growth. Williams Companies’ expected EPS growth rate for three to five years is 16.8%, which compares favorably with the industry's growth rate of 11.1%.

Excelerate Energy: Headquartered in The Woodlands, TX, the company focuses on LNG infrastructure and services, particularly Floating Storage Regasification Units and associated terminals. Billionaire Investor Stanley Druckenmiller's Top 5 Picks: Worth Buying Today?
YPF YPF Sociedad Anonima
FMP Stock News

Stanley Druckenmiller doesn’t do consensus. The Duquesne Family Office’s latest 13F reveals a top-five long book that skips the mega-cap tech herd almost entirely: a Mexican discount grocer, two biotech names on wildly different trajectories, the one semiconductor stock nobody can ignore, and an Argentine oil producer sitting on a shale reserve about to unlock its first export pipeline. Miss this map and you’re paying retail for what he already owns.

1. BBB Foods (TBBB): The Mexican Discounter Nobody’s Talking About The surprise anchor of the portfolio is BBB Foods (NYSE:TBBB), a $4.84 billion hard-discount grocer running the Tiendas 3B banner across Mexico. This is a countercyclical bet dressed up as a growth story: the weaker the Mexican consumer gets, the faster private-label discount stores capture wallet share. Druckenmiller is buying the pain trade.

The Q1 2026 numbers explain the conviction. Revenue grew 33.44% year-over-year to roughly Ps.22.86 billion, same-store sales advanced 16.0%, and the store base expanded to 3,469 units after 123 net openings in the quarter. CEO K. Anthony Hatoum framed it plainly: “Despite a soft consumer environment in Mexico, we achieved same-store sales (SSS) growth of 16.0% in 1Q26, underscoring the strength of our value proposition and increasing customer loyalty.”

The model puts a base-case one-year target of $50.82, or 26.89% upside, with analysts split 75% bullish and zero bearish. The setup skews constructive. And the second name on Druckenmiller’s list is a very different kind of asymmetric bet, where the launch curve is already vertical.

2. Insmed (INSM): The BRINSUPRI Breakout Insmed (NASDAQ:INSM | INSM Price Prediction) is a rare-disease pharma whose newly launched bronchiectasis drug BRINSUPRI has turned into one of the fastest specialty-drug ramps of the decade. Druckenmiller is positioned for what happens when a first-in-class therapy meets a captive prescriber base with essentially no competition.

Q1 2026 revenue hit $305.96 million, up 229.6% year-over-year, with BRINSUPRI alone contributing $207.90 million in its first full quarter, growing 44% sequentially. Management reaffirmed full-year 2026 guidance of at least $1.0 billion for BRINSUPRI and $1.45 billion total, implying roughly 139% growth. CEO Will Lewis told investors, “The trajectory of the BRINSUPRI launch continues to exceed our expectations.”

Here’s the setup: shares are down 38.26% year-to-date even as the fundamentals accelerate. The AI model’s base case sees $226.62 in twelve months, or 108.48% upside, with analysts 100% bullish across 22 ratings and zero holds. The setup skews aggressively constructive for investors willing to stomach volatility. The next name is the exact opposite profile: the one stock Druckenmiller owns that every fund manager on the planet already knows they should own too.

3. Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM): The AI Foundry Monopoly Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (NYSE:TSM) is the obvious heavyweight, and Druckenmiller owns it anyway because you can’t build an AI portfolio without the company that fabricates the chips. NVIDIA, AMD, and every hyperscaler custom silicon program feed through TSMC’s advanced nodes. The moat is the only road.

Q2 2026 EPS came in at $4.31 versus a $3.89 consensus, a 10.89% beat, on revenue of $40.20 billion, up 36.0% year-over-year. Gross margin expanded to 67.7%. Management guided full-year 2026 revenue growth to “slightly above 40%” in U.S. dollar terms, with 2nm technology debuting at 3% of wafer revenue in its first commercial quarter.

Polymarket traders priced the Q1 2026 earnings beat at 0.999 probability, essentially certainty, and the crowd nailed both Q2 revenue and gross margin resolutions with an average accuracy score of 0.869. Analyst consensus target sits at $498.24 against 89% bullish sentiment. The setup remains constructive. And when a manager like Druckenmiller pairs the world’s most important foundry with a diagnostic company processing a million tests a quarter, the through-line becomes clear.

4. Natera (NTRA): The Million-Tests-a-Quarter Milestone Natera (NASDAQ:NTRA) is the precision-medicine leg of the book, dominant in oncology minimal residual disease testing through Signatera and in prenatal screening through Panorama and Fetal Focus. This is the volume-flywheel thesis: more tests processed means more clinical data, more payor coverage, more prescribers, more tests.

Q1 2026 revenue reached $696.64 million, up 38.8% year-over-year and beating consensus by 12.90%. The company crossed 1,013,600 tests processed in a single quarter for the first time, with oncology volumes up 54.4% year-over-year. Management raised full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $2.74 billion to $2.82 billion, a $120 million increase at the midpoint. CEO Steve Chapman called it “an outstanding first quarter, reaching over one million units processed in a single quarter for the first time.”

Shares are up 17.78% year-to-date and 81.83% over the past twelve months. Base-case model target is $322.28, or 19.32% upside, with analyst sentiment 86% bullish and zero bearish. The setup skews constructive, with the caveat that ongoing losses require patience. Which sets up the final slot, and the position with arguably the sharpest 2027 catalyst on the entire list.

5. YPF (YPF): The Vaca Muerta Payoff YPF Sociedad Anonima (NYSE:YPF) is Druckenmiller’s emerging-markets energy call, and it lands as the #5 payoff because a specific date sits inside the thesis: January 2027, when the VMOS export pipeline turns on. This is Argentina’s shale story written as a hard catalyst.

Q1 2026 EPS came in at $1.03 versus a $0.88 consensus, a 17.05% beat, swinging the company to $409 million in net profit from a $649 million loss the prior quarter. Shale oil production reached 205 kbbl/d, up 39% year-over-year and now 76% of total oil output. The VMOS export pipeline is roughly 62% complete with first oil export targeted for January 2027, and lifting costs fell 42% year-over-year.

Shares are up 33.99% year-to-date and 57.25% over the past twelve months. The model base case targets $61.94, or 25.75% upside, with analyst sentiment 77% bullish and zero bearish. Argentina’s 51% government stake is the risk you accept for the reward. The setup skews constructive with position sizing discipline.

The Through-Line Druckenmiller’s top five is a barbell: two US-listed AI and precision-medicine engines (TSM, NTRA), one specialty-pharma launch curve (INSM), and two emerging-markets asymmetric bets (TBBB, YPF) where the macro pain is the entry point. Every name carries a bullish analyst majority and a base-case upside north of 19%. The VMOS pipeline turns on in January 2027. BRINSUPRI’s next earnings report lands before year-end. The window to buy alongside the trade is narrowing fast.
