Automatic Data Processing (ADP) Earnings Expected to Grow: What to Know Ahead of Next Week's Release
ADP Automatic Data Processing
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Wall Street expects a year-over-year increase in earnings on higher revenues when Automatic Data Processing (ADP - Free Report) reports results for the quarter ended June 2026. While this widely-known consensus outlook is important in gauging the company's earnings picture, a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price is how the actual results compare to these estimates.

The earnings report, which is expected to be released on July 29, might help the stock move higher if these key numbers are better than expectations. On the other hand, if they miss, the stock may move lower.

While the sustainability of the immediate price change and future earnings expectations will mostly depend on management's discussion of business conditions on the earnings call, it's worth handicapping the probability of a positive EPS surprise.

Zacks Consensus EstimateThis payroll and human resources company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $2.59 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of +14.6%.

Revenues are expected to be $5.43 billion, up 5.9% from the year-ago quarter.

Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has remained unchanged over the last 30 days. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period.

Investors should keep in mind that an aggregate change may not always reflect the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts.

Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise

Earnings WhisperEstimate revisions ahead of a company's earnings release offer clues to the business conditions for the period whose results are coming out. This insight is at the core of our proprietary surprise prediction model -- the Zacks Earnings ESP (Expected Surprise Prediction).

The Zacks Earnings ESP compares the Most Accurate Estimate to the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the quarter; the Most Accurate Estimate is a more recent version of the Zacks Consensus EPS estimate. The idea here is that analysts revising their estimates right before an earnings release have the latest information, which could potentially be more accurate than what they and others contributing to the consensus had predicted earlier.

Thus, a positive or negative Earnings ESP reading theoretically indicates the likely deviation of the actual earnings from the consensus estimate. However, the model's predictive power is significant for positive ESP readings only.

A positive Earnings ESP is a strong predictor of an earnings beat, particularly when combined with a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), 2 (Buy) or 3 (Hold). Our research shows that stocks with this combination produce a positive surprise nearly 70% of the time, and a solid Zacks Rank actually increases the predictive power of Earnings ESP.

Please note that a negative Earnings ESP reading is not indicative of an earnings miss. Our research shows that it is difficult to predict an earnings beat with any degree of confidence for stocks with negative Earnings ESP readings and/or Zacks Rank of 4 (Sell) or 5 (Strong Sell).

How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for ADP?For ADP, the Most Accurate Estimate is higher than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bullish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +0.16%.

On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #3.

So, this combination indicates that ADP will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate.

Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue?Analysts often consider to what extent a company has been able to match consensus estimates in the past while calculating their estimates for its future earnings. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.

For the last reported quarter, it was expected that ADP would post earnings of $3.28 per share when it actually produced earnings of $3.37, delivering a surprise of +2.74%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates four times.

Bottom LineAn earnings beat or miss may not be the sole basis for a stock moving higher or lower. Many stocks end up losing ground despite an earnings beat due to other factors that disappoint investors. Similarly, unforeseen catalysts help a number of stocks gain despite an earnings miss.

That said, betting on stocks that are expected to beat earnings expectations does increase the odds of success. This is why it's worth checking a company's Earnings ESP and Zacks Rank ahead of its quarterly release. Make sure to utilize our Earnings ESP Filter to uncover the best stocks to buy or sell before they've reported.

ADP appears a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.

Expected Results of an Industry PlayerF5 Networks (FFIV - Free Report) , another stock in the Zacks Internet - Software industry, is expected to report earnings per share of $3.98 for the quarter ended June 2026. This estimate points to a year-over-year change of -4.3%. Revenues for the quarter are expected to be $832.12 million, up 6.6% from the year-ago quarter.

The consensus EPS estimate for F5 has remained unchanged over the last 30 days. However, a lower Most Accurate Estimate has resulted in an Earnings ESP of -0.83%.

This Earnings ESP, combined with its Zacks Rank #3 (Hold), makes it difficult to conclusively predict that F5 will beat the consensus EPS estimate. The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters.

ADP Stock Gains 23% in 3 Months: Here's What You Should Know
ADP Automatic Data Processing
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways ADP stock gained 23% in three months, beating the industry and broader market.Wider EBIT margins helped ADP turn revenue growth into stronger earnings gains.ADP paid $1.9 billion in dividends and ended the quarter with $3.2 billion in cash. ADP (ADP - Free Report) stock has rallied over the past three months. The company’s shares have surged 23%, outperforming the industry’s 1.4% growth and the Zacks S&P 500 Composite's 4.5% appreciation.

3-Month Share Price Performance                                                                   Image Source: Zacks Investment Research

Let us delve into the factors that have contributed to the company’s outperformance.

Strong Margins Anchor ProfitabilityADP’s top line moved up 3.6% sequentially during the second quarter of fiscal 2026, which then increased exponentially by 10.8% during the third quarter of fiscal 2026. This top-line momentum was accompanied by 7.7% and 28.6% sequential growth in adjusted EBIT in the second and third quarters of fiscal 2026, respectively.

A disproportionate growth between revenues and adjusted EBIT is a clear indication of heightened operational efficiency, as evidenced by a 50 basis points (bps) and 420 bps expansion in adjusted EBIT margins during the aforementioned quarters.

These strong margins translated into significant improvement in net earnings, resulting in impressive bottom-line growth. During the second quarter of fiscal 2026, net earnings increased 4.8% sequentially, resulting in a 5.2% upsurge in the bottom line.

Although similar, the momentum achieved during the third quarter of fiscal 2026 was aggressive, as net earnings spiked 28% sequentially, pushing the bottom line up by 29%. This performance is a testament to ADP’s ability to convert incremental revenue gains into high-margin bottom-line growth, fortifying investor morale in the scalability of its operations.

Dividends Attract Income-Seeking InvestorsADP has a consistent track record of dividend payments. The company paid $1.9 billion, $2.2 billion and $2.4 billion in dividends during fiscal 2023, 2024 and 2025, respectively. During the nine months ended as of March 31, 2026, ADP paid $1.9 billion in dividends, a substantial rise from the year-ago period’s $1.8 billion. Such moves, despite turbulent cash flow, indicate the company’s commitment to returning value to shareholders and underline its confidence in the business.

Solid Balance Sheet Bolsters LiquidityADP’s balance sheet reveals that it holds a cash chest of $3.2 billion as of the end of the third quarter of fiscal 2026 compared with no current debt, strengthening its liquidity. It is further justified by a current ratio of 1.04 during the third quarter of fiscal 2026 that improved marginally from the year-ago quarter. While the metric stands lower than the industry average of 1.9, being above 1 bodes well with investors, signaling efficiency in covering short-term obligations.

Zacks Rank & Stocks to ConsiderADP currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).

Some better-ranked stocks in the broader Zacks Computer and Technology sector are Amphenol Corporation (APH - Free Report) and MKS Inc. (MKSI - Free Report) , each flaunting a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) at present. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank stocks here.

Amphenol Corporation has a long-term earnings growth expectation of 24%. Amphenol Corporation delivered a trailing four-quarter earnings surprise of 14.1%, on average.

MKS has a long-term earnings growth expectation of 29.9%. MKS delivered a trailing four-quarter earnings surprise of 7.5%, on average.

Annaly Q2 Earnings Beat Estimates, Net Interest Income Improves Y/Y
NLY Annaly Capital Management
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Annaly beat Q2 earnings estimates as earnings available for distribution rose year over year.NLY's total portfolio reached $109.4 billion, including a $95 billion Agency portfolio at quarter-end.NLY raised its quarterly dividend, increased hedging and expanded financing capacity amid rate uncertainty. Annaly Capital Management, Inc. (NLY - Free Report) reported second-quarter 2026 earnings available for distribution (EAD) per average share of 79 cents, which beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 75 cents. The figure increased from 73 cents in the year-ago quarter.

NLY’s net interest income (NII) and net interest margin improved year over year in the reported quarter. Notably, the year-over-year increase in book value per common share (BVPS) was also encouraging. However, higher economic funding costs were concerning.

Net income available to common stockholders was $781.6 million compared with $19.8 million in the year-ago period.

Inside Annaly’s Q2 HeadlinesNII was $488.2 million in the reported quarter, which lagged the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 4.1%. In the prior-year quarter, the company reported NII of $273.2 million.

Net interest spread (excluding PAA) of 1.50% in the second quarter increased from 1.47% in the prior-year quarter.

Annaly’s BVPS was $20.15 as of June 30, 2026, up from $18.45 in the prior-year quarter. At the end of the reported quarter, the company’s economic capital ratio was 14.9%, up from 14.3% in the prior-year quarter.

In the second quarter, the weighted average actual constant prepayment rate was 11.6%, up from 8.7% in the year-ago quarter.

Annaly generated an annualized EAD return on average equity of 15.12% in the second quarter, which increased from the prior-year quarter’s 14.86%.

The company’s total portfolio was $109.4 billion in the quarter, including a $95 billion Agency portfolio. The Residential Credit portfolio was $10.4 billion, while the MSR portfolio was $4.1 billion.

NLY Keeps Leverage Conservative With Ample LiquidityAnnaly maintained a disciplined leverage profile in the quarter, with GAAP leverage at 7.4X, up from 7.3X in the prior quarter, and economic leverage at 5.6X, down from 5.7X. The company also reported total stockholders’ equity of $16.9 billion as of the quarter-end.

Liquidity remained a focal point, given ongoing macro and rate uncertainty. Annaly ended the quarter with $9.6 billion in total assets available for financing, including $5.5 billion in cash and unencumbered Agency MBS. The company also increased financing capacity in its Residential Credit business by $740 million through expanded credit facilities.

Annaly Hedging Rises Amid Macro UncertaintyAgainst an uncertain rate environment, NLY adopted a more defensive hedge posture. The company ended the quarter with a hedge ratio of 97%, up from 87% in the prior quarter, while its hedge portfolio increased to $92 billion from $81 billion.

Funding costs were mixed during the quarter. Average GAAP costs of interest-bearing liabilities declined one basis point sequentially to 4.28%, while average economic costs increased three basis points to 3.96%. The net interest margin, excluding PAA, was 1.76% compared with 1.71% in the second quarter of 2025. Average yield on interest-earning assets, excluding the premium amortization adjustment, was 5.46%, up from 5.41% in the year-ago quarter.

NLY Leans on Dividend Coverage & Capital RaisingA key highlight for income-focused investors was that earnings again exceeded the common dividend. Annaly increased its quarterly common stock cash dividend to 75 cents per share for the second quarter from 70 cents in the year-ago period, supported by its earnings available for distribution.

The company also leaned on equity issuance to support growth. Annaly raised $447 million through its at-the-market sales program during the quarter, which it characterized as accretive, and largely deployed the capital into higher-coupon TBA securities and specified pools.

Our Take on NLYAnnaly’s second-quarter results benefited from higher net interest income, stronger net income and an improved net interest margin. While book value per share and the economic capital ratio rose year over year, higher economic funding costs and faster prepayment activity are likely to keep returns sensitive in the near term.

NLY currently carries a Zacks Rank #4 (Sell).

Performance & Earnings Dates of Annaly’s PeersAGNC Investment Corp. (AGNC - Free Report) reported second-quarter 2026 net spread and dollar roll income per common share of 40 cents, topping the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 5.3%. The metric increased 5.3% from the year-ago quarter’s 38 cents.

AGNC’s results benefited from higher NII, an increase in tangible net book value per share (BVPS) and growth in the investment portfolio. However, a lower net interest spread, a rise in the weighted average cost of funds and elevated prepayment rates were concerning.

Starwood Property Trust, Inc. (STWD - Free Report) is expected to post second-quarter 2026 results on Aug. 06.

Over the past seven days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for STWD’s quarterly earnings has been unchanged at 41 cents per share.

Annaly Capital Management Q2 Earnings Call Highlights
NLY Annaly Capital Management
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Dividend Increases: From Over 10% Yields to Over 10% Dividend GrowthAnnaly Capital Management NYSE: NLY reported a stronger second quarter of 2026, citing book value growth, improved earnings available for distribution and continued expansion across parts of its diversified housing finance platform.

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer David Finkelstein said the company generated a 5.5% economic return during the quarter, helped by lower rate volatility despite rising interest rates. He said earnings available for distribution, or EAD, totaled $0.79 per share, marking the ninth consecutive quarter in which EAD exceeded the company’s dividend.

Here's Who Wins If Trump's 50-Year Mortgages Come to MarketAnnaly recently increased its quarterly common dividend to $0.75 per share. Finkelstein said the company’s board was “very methodical” in evaluating the dividend and wanted to ensure it was “earnable.” He said Annaly expects to cover the payout over time, while acknowledging that individual quarters could fluctuate.

Book Value Rises as Earnings Top Dividend Chief Financial Officer Serena Wolfe said Annaly’s book value per share increased 1.7% from the prior quarter to $20.15 as of June 30, 2026. Including the $0.75 quarterly dividend, the company’s economic return for the first half of the year was 6.9%.

6 Mortgage REITS: How Badly Could Rising Rates Hurt Them?Wolfe said EAD per share rose $0.03 from the prior quarter to $0.79. The increase was primarily driven by higher average yields on the Agency portfolio, higher securitization volumes in Residential Credit and favorable funding costs. Average repo rates declined 6 basis points to 3.84% during the quarter, while the weighted average coupon on the Agency portfolio increased 11 basis points to 5.11%.

Net interest margin increased 5 basis points to 1.76%, and net interest spread improved 8 basis points to 1.50%. Wolfe said both metrics benefited from higher asset yields, partly offset by modest increases in economic funding costs and lower swap income as SOFR declined during the period.

Annaly ended the quarter with economic leverage of 5.6 times, down slightly from 5.7 times in the prior quarter. The company also raised about $450 million of equity through its at-the-market program during the quarter.

Agency Portfolio Grows Amid Strong Demand Finkelstein said Annaly increased its Agency portfolio by roughly $3 billion during the quarter, ending at $95 billion in market value. The capital allocation to Agency assets rose to 57%.

He said Agency mortgage-backed securities spreads tightened during the quarter as de-escalation in the Middle East contributed to lower realized and implied rate volatility. Demand remained strong, supported by fixed-income inflows, overseas investors and a robust collateralized mortgage obligation market, which Finkelstein said is absorbing about 30% of gross issuance.

Annaly modestly moved up in coupon during the quarter, reducing exposure to 4.5% coupons in favor of 5.5% and 6% coupons. Finkelstein said new capital was primarily invested into production coupon mortgage-backed securities and Agency commercial mortgage-backed securities.

V.S. Srinivasan, Head of Agency, said in the Q&A session that the company’s strategy for managing prepayment risk has been to move up in coupon through “quality specified pools” with call protection. He said Annaly has been deliberate in constructing that portfolio over the last several years.

Finkelstein also said Annaly added swap hedges during the quarter to protect against rising rates. He said the hedge portfolio remains diversified across Treasuries, futures and swaps, with a preference for swaps given their carry profile and balance sheet availability.

Residential Credit Platform Posts Record Loan Purchases Annaly’s Residential Credit portfolio ended the second quarter at $10.4 billion in market value, roughly unchanged from the prior quarter and representing 22% of firm capital.

Finkelstein said Annaly purchased $7.1 billion of loans during the quarter, including activity through the Onslow Bay correspondent channel, whole loan bulk purchases and partnerships. He called it a new quarterly record for the business. Onslow Bay produced $6.7 billion of locks and $5.1 billion of fundings.

The company closed 13 securitization deals during the quarter totaling $6.8 billion in principal balance, creating about $780 million of proprietary investments. Year to date, the OBX platform priced 25 transactions totaling $14.2 billion. Finkelstein said Annaly remains the largest issuer of Expanded Credit mortgages and the second-largest issuer overall.

Mike Fania, Co-Chief Investment Officer and Head of Residential Credit, said Annaly’s advantages in sourcing loans include longstanding originator relationships, a broad correspondent network and consistent pricing through market cycles. He said the company faces more than 350 correspondents and recently expanded into non-delegated correspondent lending.

Fania said Non-QM and DSCR loans remain Annaly’s core Residential Credit collateral types. He said those categories accounted for 70% of the company’s 2026 securitization volume to date and remain the highest-returning and most scalable areas for Annaly.

MSR Portfolio Remains Stable Annaly’s mortgage servicing rights portfolio ended the quarter at about $4.1 billion in market value, representing 21% of firm capital. Finkelstein said the company modestly rotated the portfolio toward higher average loan balances, committing to purchase approximately $200 million in market value of MSR while also committing to sell two lower-loan-balance bulk pools for $220 million in proceeds.

Ken Adler, Head of Mortgage Servicing Rights, said Annaly’s variable-cost model using sub-servicers gives it flexibility in the MSR market. He said moving into higher average loan balance MSR enhances returns because the company pays a fixed servicing cost per loan, making higher-balance loans more efficient for Annaly’s model.

Finkelstein said MSR portfolio fundamentals remained favorable. Prepayment speeds rose seasonally to 5.2 CPR but remained below initial model projections. Serious delinquencies were range-bound around 50 basis points. The portfolio had a weighted average note rate of 3.3%, which Finkelstein said was the lowest among the 20 largest MSR holders.

Management Highlights Liquidity and Capital Flexibility Wolfe said Annaly ended the quarter with $8 billion in unencumbered assets, including $5.5 billion in cash and unencumbered Agency mortgage-backed securities. Including pledged but undrawn MSR value, she said Annaly had $9.6 billion of total assets available for financing at quarter-end, up about $580 million from the prior quarter.

Finkelstein said Annaly continues to see compelling opportunities across Agency, Residential Credit and MSR. He characterized Agency spreads as attractive, with mid-teens levered returns, and said Residential Credit continues to offer strong growth potential supported by Annaly’s sourcing and securitization capabilities.

In response to an analyst question about capital deployment, Finkelstein said the marginal dollar would likely go into Agency, with Residential Credit added as opportunities arise. He also said MSR remains attractive and noted that Annaly had purchased an MSR package after quarter-end with a sub-3% note rate.

Finkelstein said Annaly’s operating-light structure remains a key advantage, allowing the company to allocate capital across housing finance opportunities without depending on loan origination volume or servicing operations.

AGNC Investment Just Notched Its 75th Straight Monthly Dividend and Currently Yields 13%+. Here's What Q2 Earnings Revealed.
AGNC AGNC Investment
FMP Stock News
Original source text
AGNC Investment (AGNC -0.33%) has become a remarkably consistent dividend stock. The real estate investment trust (REIT) recently hit a milestone of 75 consecutive months of paying the same dividend rate ($0.12 per share). That's impressive, considering all the volatility in the mortgage and interest rate markets over the past few years.

Here's a look at the mortgage REIT's recent second-quarter financial results and what they reveal about the future of its more than 13%-yielding monthly dividend.

A strong quarter despite challenging market conditions AGNC Investment reported $0.52 per share of comprehensive net income during the second quarter and $0.40 per share in net spread and dollar roll income. Both metrics were above the REIT's dividend payout this quarter ($0.36 per share, or $0.12 per month). Meanwhile, its book value increased by $0.20 per share, or 2.4%, to $8.38 per share. When adding dividend income to the increase in book value, AGNC Investment generated an economic return of 6.7% during the period.

That's impressive, considering the market environment. CEO Peter Federico highlighted in the earnings press release that "the investment environment in the second quarter continued to be challenging, as escalating rhetoric and hostilities between the United States and Iran largely dictated financial market performance." Elevated energy prices and supply chain constraints "caused Treasury yields to increase, the yield curve to flatten, and the market's monetary policy expectations to pivot from rate cuts to rate hikes."

While that drove up mortgage rates, reducing the projected Agency MBS supply during the quarter, demand for these low-risk mortgage investments remained strong. That created "a positive technical backdrop that supported Agency MBS performance and drove spreads to benchmark rates tighter."

The outlook for Agency MBS investments While the second quarter was a positive environment for Agency MBS investments, market conditions can change rapidly. Mortgage spreads have already declined from their recent peaks. However, they're still at historically elevated levels. As a result, Agency MBS offer compelling value relative to other fixed-income investments, especially corporate bonds. That drives Federico's view that "favorable dynamics should be supportive of Agency MBS performance over the near to intermediate term and position AGNC to continue to deliver strong risk-adjusted returns for our stockholders."

The CEO dove deeper into the current economic backdrop for MBS investments during its second-quarter conference call. He noted that, at the current spread, AGNC Investment can earn a return on equity in the 15% to 17% range by leveraging its capital at a multiple of 7.0 to 7.5. He highlighted that it "aligns really well with the economics of our dividend." The REIT can raise capital at a roughly 13% yield based on its current stock price of $11 per share, which is at a significant premium to its current book value. It can then lever that capital and earn a mid-to-high double-digit return in the current environment. That drives its continued confidence in the monthly dividend rate.

The dividend stability should continue AGNC Investment has now maintained its current dividend rate for 75 straight months. While the economic environment remains challenging, it's generating strong returns to sustain its dividend. While an abrupt change to the return economics poses a future risk to the dividend, it appears safe for now.

AGNC Investment Q2 Earnings Call Highlights Agency MBS Outlook
AGNC AGNC Investment
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways AGNC's lower projected supply and firm demand are improving the outlook for Agency MBS.Tangible net book value rose 2.4% to $8.58, supporting a 6.7% economic return on equity.AGNC raised its weighted average coupon to 5.04% as higher-coupon mortgages outperformed hedges. AGNC Investment Corp. (AGNC - Free Report) used its second-quarter earnings call to make a forward-looking case for Agency mortgage-backed securities, even as management described the macro backdrop as unusually volatile. The core message was that supply and demand trends in mortgages are improving despite geopolitical and rate uncertainty.

AGNC reported earnings per share (EPS) of $0.40, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.38. However, revenues of $305 million fell short of the consensus mark of $364.40 million.

AGNC Sees Better Mortgage TechnicalsPeter Federico, president, CEO and chief investment officer, said that the quarter was shaped by rising tensions between the United States and Iran, higher energy prices and supply chain disruptions, all of which pushed Treasury yields higher and flattened the curve. Federico nevertheless argued that the setup for Agency MBS improved.

Federico said that elevated mortgage rates are reducing projected Agency MBS supply while demand remains firm. On the call, he added that bond fund inflows topped $400 billion in the first half, with banks, foreign investors and REITs also expected to remain net buyers of Agency MBS.

Federico also contrasted mortgage valuations with corporate credit and said that Agency MBS still look attractive against corporate bonds that are trading at historically tight spreads despite heavy issuance and rising credit concerns.

AGNC Posted Strong Book Value GainsBernice Bell, executive vice president and CFO, said that AGNC generated a 6.7% economic return on tangible common equity in the quarter, made up of $0.36 in dividends per share and a $0.20 rise in tangible net book value per share. Tangible net book value ended June at $8.58, up 2.4% from $8.38 as of March-end.

Comprehensive income came in at $0.52 per common share, while net spread and dollar roll income was $0.40 per share, down from $0.42 in the prior quarter. Bell tied that decline to a 6-basis-point narrowing in net interest spread as lower asset yields from portfolio repositioning partly offset somewhat lower funding costs.

The press release also showed an annualized net interest spread of 2.00% for the quarter, down from 2.06% in the first quarter, with average total cost of funds improving modestly to 2.89% from 2.92%.

AGNC Shifted Toward Higher CouponsManagement said that the portfolio was repositioned to benefit from a more benign prepayment backdrop. Projected CPR fell to 8.6% from 10.3%, while actual CPR was 13.0% compared with 13.2% in the prior quarter.

Federico said that AGNC sold some lower-coupon MBS and bought higher-coupon paper during the quarter. As a result, the weighted average coupon on the portfolio rose to 5.04%, and higher-coupon mortgages delivered the strongest outperformance against hedges.

By quarter-end, the investment portfolio stood at $97.2 billion, with 94% in 30-year fixed-rate Agency MBS and TBA securities. Management also kept the duration gap unchanged at 0.7 years.

AGNC Stayed Selective on Capital RaisingBell said that AGNC Investment issued $167 million of common equity through its at-the-market program during the quarter, and Federico described that activity as disciplined and opportunistic rather than automatic.

On the Q&A, a BTIG analyst asked about returns on incremental investments and how valuation affects issuance. Federico said that mortgage spreads near 130 to 150 basis points can support levered returns in the 15% to 17% range, aligning with the economics of the dividend.

A Piper Sandler analyst also pressed on lighter issuance. Federico said that management did not want ATM activity to interfere with trading in the stock and chose a lighter touch because market conditions and stock trading dynamics were not as well aligned as in prior periods.

AGNC Put Policy Questions in FocusThe Q&A showed that investors are still focused on market structure as much as on quarterly earnings. Multiple analysts asked about GSE purchase activity, leverage and pending regulatory changes.

Federico said that GSE purchases were only slightly positive in the first two months of the quarter even as mortgage spreads tightened, which showed the agencies were being complementary rather than crowding out private capital. He added that the GSEs still have about $120 billion of purchase capacity.

He also said that the proposed Basel capital rules should be positive for mortgages by allowing banks to hold more mortgage credit at lower capital requirements. On the Fed, Federico said that investors will be watching whether balance-sheet policy eventually preserves some mortgage holdings and supports repo market liquidity.

AGNC Leaves the Call With a Clear BiasThe clearest takeaway from management was not that volatility has faded, but that AGNC believes mortgage market technicals are getting better underneath the noise. Federico repeatedly returned to lower supply, durable demand and relative value versus corporates.

Bell’s update added a near-term reality check, saying tangible net book value was down about 1% as of late last week, or a little less than 2% net of July’s dividend accrual. Even so, leverage remained at 7.4x, and liquidity totaled $7.5 billion, leaving AGNC positioned to stay active.

Zacks Signals on AGNCAGNC carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold), along with a Value Score of B, a Growth Score of C, a Momentum Score of A and a VGM Score of B. Zacks says the Rank is the first step in stock selection, while Style Scores work as a complement, with better letter grades indicating stronger expected performance over the next one to three months. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

The Style Score hierarchy still matters, and stronger scores are more favorable than weaker ones. AGNC’s Momentum Score of A and VGM Score of B are constructive signals within that framework, though the Zacks Rank can change as earnings estimate revisions adjust after the quarter.

Chubb Q2 Earnings Call Highlights
CB Chubb
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Can Trupanion Turn Pet Insurance Loyalty Into Real Earnings?Chubb NYSE: CB reported a strong second quarter of 2026, with Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Evan Greenberg pointing to underwriting performance, investment income, life insurance growth and global diversification as key contributors to results.

Core operating earnings were $2.8 billion, or $7.26 per share, up 14.6% and 18.2%, respectively, from the prior year, Greenberg said on the company’s earnings call. Tangible book value per share rose 17.1% year over year, which Greenberg described as the company’s “most important measure of shareholder wealth creation.”

3 Insurance Stocks That Can Act as a New Inflation Hedge The insurer posted an annualized core operating return on tangible equity of 21.2% for the quarter and a core operating return on equity of 14.5%. Property and casualty underwriting income exceeded $1.9 billion, up almost 19%, with a combined ratio of 83.8%. On a current accident year basis excluding catastrophe losses, the combined ratio was 82.2%.

Investment Income Hits Record Level Adjusted net investment income reached a record $1.88 billion, up more than 11%, supported by performance in fixed income and alternative asset portfolios. Greenberg said the fixed income portfolio yield was 5.1%, while the current new money rate averaged 5.5% as of June 30. Chubb’s invested assets stood at $175 billion, up from $161 billion a year earlier.

Looking to Insure Your Portfolio? Start With These 3 StocksChief Financial Officer Peter Enns said adjusted operating cash flow totaled $3.5 billion in the quarter. He also noted that Chubb issued $2.2 billion of debt across several currencies at a weighted average cost of 4.2% and an average term of about 7.5 years, with proceeds intended for general corporate purposes, including repayment and refinancing of debt.

Enns said Chubb returned $1.4 billion of capital to shareholders in the quarter, including $979 million of share repurchases at an average price of $327.18 per share and $395 million in dividends. The company ended the quarter with book value of $75 billion, or $195.45 per share. Book value per share and tangible book value per share excluding accumulated other comprehensive income grew 2.8% and 3.8%, respectively, during the quarter.

Chief Investment Officer Chris Hogan said the public fixed income portfolio generated $1.63 billion of income, up 12% year over year, while private investments, representing 12% of the portfolio, contributed $250 million, up 9.5%. Hogan called the current environment “ideal” for investment-grade bond investors, citing reinvestment rates above the portfolio’s book yield.

Premium Growth Varies by Business Line Global property and casualty premiums rose 3%, or 6.3% excluding large account and excess and surplus property, Greenberg said. Overseas general premiums grew 10.2%, or 4.8% in constant dollars. North America premiums increased about 0.5%, as commercial lines declined 2.3%, while personal lines and accident and health each rose 6%.

Greenberg said the “substantial majority” of Chubb’s businesses are growing, while some are flat or shrinking because of inadequate pricing or terms. He specifically cited U.S. large account and E&S property as an area where the company again reduced premium volume.

International retail, which Greenberg said produces more than $17 billion in annual gross premiums and operates in 51 countries, grew almost 12%, or about 6% in constant dollars. Consumer-related businesses, including accident and health and personal lines, were up more than 12%, while commercial lines rose more than 11%. Latin America grew 15.6%, Asia grew 12% and Europe grew nearly 7.5%.

In North America commercial, middle market and small commercial premiums grew almost 9%, with property and casualty lines up 12% and financial lines down about 3%. Premiums in major account and specialty, including E&S, declined 9% because of property.

In North America personal lines, Chubb’s high-net-worth business generated 6% premium growth and renewal retention of 90% on an account basis. Greenberg said the North America personal lines business now produces more than $8 billion in annual gross premiums.

Greenberg Warns on Casualty Pricing Greenberg said soft market conditions have begun to extend beyond property into more casualty lines, particularly in E&S. He said certain classes of large account and middle market business are becoming more competitive, and pricing in multiple casualty areas is not keeping pace with loss costs.

“U.S. casualty loss costs are rising at a pretty steady 6%-7% for primary casualty, and 9.5%-12% for excess,” Greenberg said, adding that pricing can become inadequate quickly under those conditions. He said financial lines remain soft, with some newer market participants and managing general agents underwriting at prices and terms he considers inadequate.

In North America, commercial property and casualty pricing excluding financial lines and workers’ compensation was up 1.3%, with rates down 1.4% and exposure change of 2.7%. Property pricing was down about 6%, while casualty pricing rose 7.1%, including a 6.4% rate increase and 0.7% exposure growth. Financial lines pricing was up 0.3%.

Asked during the question-and-answer session about casualty pricing, Greenberg said the issue was not limited to commercial auto. “It’s across casualty,” he said, adding that there is “zero evidence across the industry” that loss costs have abated.

Life Insurance and Worksite Benefits Grow Life income was $332 million, up 9% from a year earlier. Greenberg said international life insurance premiums and deposits rose almost 14.5%, with most exposure in Asia and most growth in North Asia, including China, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan.

Chubb’s North America Worksite Benefits business grew premiums 14%. Greenberg said the business has been built steadily over more than five years, through brokerage distribution tied to small and middle market commercial relationships and through a retooled agency force focused on small and lower middle market employers.

Greenberg said the company sees “a tremendous opportunity” to continue growing Worksite Benefits organically at double-digit rates, and expects it to become a more significant contributor to Chubb’s top and bottom line over time.

Reserves, Catastrophe Losses and Capital Pre-tax catastrophe losses were $475 million, principally from weather-related events in the U.S., Enns said. Chubb recorded favorable pre-tax prior period development of $441 million in active companies, with 89% from short-tail lines and 11% from long-tail lines. The corporate runoff portfolio had adverse development of $158 million, more than two-thirds of which came from molestation-related claims development.

Net loss reserves increased to nearly $69 billion, up 4% from the second quarter of 2025. The paid-to-incurred ratio was 90% for the quarter, or 86% excluding catastrophe losses, prior period development and agriculture. When asked why the ratio remains below pre-pandemic levels, Greenberg said it “speaks to overall the strength of our reserves.”

Enns said the core operating effective tax rate was 19.2% for the quarter, below the company’s previously guided range because of shifts in income mix and discrete tax benefits. Chubb continues to expect a full-year core operating effective tax rate of 19.5% to 20%.

Greenberg said Chubb remains confident in its ability to generate strong operating earnings growth and double-digit tangible book value growth over time, while acknowledging softer commercial property and casualty market conditions. “We have many sources and handles to pull,” he said, citing the company’s global mix, life business, invested assets and capital management.

Aon (AON) Earnings Expected to Grow: What to Know Ahead of Next Week's Release
AON Aon
FMP Stock News
Original source text
The market expects Aon (AON - Free Report) to deliver a year-over-year increase in earnings on higher revenues when it reports results for the quarter ended June 2026. This widely-known consensus outlook is important in assessing the company's earnings picture, but a powerful factor that might influence its near-term stock price is how the actual results compare to these estimates.

The earnings report, which is expected to be released on July 29, might help the stock move higher if these key numbers are better than expectations. On the other hand, if they miss, the stock may move lower.

While management's discussion of business conditions on the earnings call will mostly determine the sustainability of the immediate price change and future earnings expectations, it's worth having a handicapping insight into the odds of a positive EPS surprise.

Zacks Consensus EstimateThis insurance brokerage is expected to post quarterly earnings of $3.77 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of +8%.

Revenues are expected to be $4.26 billion, up 2.6% from the year-ago quarter.

Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 0.03% lower over the last 30 days to the current level. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period.

Investors should keep in mind that the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts may not always get reflected in the aggregate change.

How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for Aon?For Aon, the Most Accurate Estimate is higher than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bullish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +0.24%.

On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #3.

So, this combination indicates that Aon will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate.

Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue? While calculating estimates for a company's future earnings, analysts often consider to what extent it has been able to match past consensus estimates. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.

For the last reported quarter, it was expected that Aon would post earnings of $6.33 per share when it actually produced earnings of $6.48, delivering a surprise of +2.37%.

Aon appears a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.

An Industry Player's Expected ResultsBrown & Brown (BRO - Free Report) , another stock in the Zacks Insurance - Brokerage industry, is expected to report earnings per share of $1.08 for the quarter ended June 2026. This estimate points to a year-over-year change of +4.9%. Revenues for the quarter are expected to be $1.72 billion, up 34% from the year-ago quarter.

The consensus EPS estimate for Brown & Brown has been revised 0.2% lower over the last 30 days to the current level. However, a higher Most Accurate Estimate has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +0.31%.

When combined with a Zacks Rank of #3 (Hold), this Earnings ESP indicates that Brown & Brown will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate. The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters.

While investors closely watch year-over-year changes in headline numbers -- revenue and earnings -- and how they compare to Wall Street expectations to determine their next course of action, some key metrics always provide a better insight into a company's underlying performance.

Jim Cramer Calls AI Cyberattacks a “Watershed Moment” for CrowdStrike
CRWD CrowdStrike
FMP Stock News
Original source text
On CNBC’s Mad Dash segment on Wednesday, July 22, Jim Cramer credited CrowdStrike (NASDAQ:CRWD | CRWD Price Prediction) and CEO George Kurtz with calling machine-on-machine attacks before the broader market caught on. “CrowdStrike has long predicted, George Kurtz, that one day the machines would take over, the robots would attack the robots,” Cramer said.

Video Muted

Following recent security incidents involving AI companies, Cramer called machine-on-machine attacks a “watershed moment” that could increase demand for the world’s best cybersecurity solutions: “This is what’s happened in OpenAI, Hugging Face. This is a watershed moment. The machines can take over. It’s very difficult to stop.” He added, “You need certain detection and response. I know that CrowdStrike predicted this in the last quarter.“

CrowdStrike Says Cybersecurity and Frontier AI Have Collided Cramer’s framing aligns with what Kurtz told investors on the Q1 FY27 call. “In Q1, the worlds of cybersecurity and frontier AI collided: this was the Mythos moment. CrowdStrike is AI security infrastructure, critical to successful AI adoption,” Kurtz said, pointing to record net new annual recurring revenue, the QuiltWorks coalition, and AI Detection and Response (AIDR) as evidence of an inflection.

CrowdStrike posted Q1 FY27 revenue of $1.385 billion, up 25.6% year-over-year, and non-GAAP EPS of $1.10 versus the $1.0675 consensus. Net new ARR came in at $255.80 million, up 32% year-over-year, pushing total ARR to $5.51 billion. Free cash flow reached $468.5 million, up 66.76%, with a 34% free cash flow margin.

CrowdStrike Built an AI Defense Stack With OpenAI, Nvidia, and AWS Last quarter, CrowdStrike introduced and expanded products aimed at agentic and machine-generated threats. Falcon AIDR reached general availability, and CrowdStrike rolled out Agentic MDR, the Charlotte AI AgentWorks Ecosystem (built with AWS, NVIDIA, and OpenAI), and Falcon Data Security across endpoints, browsers, SaaS, cloud, and AI workflows. Project QuiltWorks pairs CrowdStrike with OpenAI and Anthropic to remediate frontier AI risk via the Falcon platform.

CrowdStrike’s customers are consolidating on their security tools. 51% of customers run 6 or more modules, 35% run 7 or more, and 25% run 8 or more. That density allows Kurtz to position CrowdStrike as an operating system for security rather than a single-point tool competing with AI-native newcomers.

Act now: the analyst who called NVIDIA in 2010 just named his top 10 AI stocks — and Palo Alto Networks didn't make the cut. Grab the names FREE today.

CRWD stock currently trades at $187.34 and is up 63.11% year to date and 58.77% over the past year, but has slipped 9.29% in the last week as investors digest the stock’s valuation after the four-for-one stock split with split-adjusted trading that began on July 2. The stock trades at roughly 164 times forward earnings, with an average analyst target of $189.18 across 41 buy or strong-buy ratings out of 53 covering analysts.

Palo Alto Networks Fits the Same Thesis Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ:PANW) CEO Nikesh Arora said last quarter that “the latest advancements at the AI frontier have increased the level of urgency around cybersecurity, and redefined the shape of the industry for the coming years.” Palo Alto’s Next-Generation Security ARR reached $8.10 billion in Q3 FY2026, up 60% year-over-year, on $3.00 billion in revenue, up 31.1%.

Analysts are raising their price targets. Argus Research lifted its PANW target from $320 to $425 on July 21, and Capital One tagged the stock Overweight with a $421 price target. Morgan Stanley placed both CrowdStrike and Palo Alto in its Moat & Journey framework of Overweight software picks alongside Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), Cloudflare (NYSE:NET), and ServiceNow (NYSE:NOW)

What to Watch Next Cramer’s point echoes what Citi’s CIO Kate Moore recently argued: cybersecurity budgets remain underfunded relative to the surface area AI is creating. The Gartner Tokyo Security Summit on July 22 drew more than 840 CISOs, with agentic AI and machine identity dominating the agenda.

Investors should watch whether that demand translates into stronger annual recurring revenue, greater adoption of security modules, and higher customer spending in upcoming earnings reports.

Act now: the analyst who called NVIDIA in 2010 just named his top 10 AI stocks — and Palo Alto Networks didn't make the cut. Grab the names FREE today.

Wall Street Analysts Think Ares Capital (ARCC) Is a Good Investment: Is It?
ARCC Ares Capital
FMP Stock News
Original source text
When deciding whether to buy, sell, or hold a stock, investors often rely on analyst recommendations. Media reports about rating changes by these brokerage-firm-employed (or sell-side) analysts often influence a stock's price, but are they really important?

Before we discuss the reliability of brokerage recommendations and how to use them to your advantage, let's see what these Wall Street heavyweights think about Ares Capital (ARCC - Free Report) .

Ares Capital currently has an average brokerage recommendation (ABR) of 1.67, on a scale of 1 to 5 (Strong Buy to Strong Sell), calculated based on the actual recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell, etc.) made by 15 brokerage firms. An ABR of 1.67 approximates between Strong Buy and Buy.

Of the 15 recommendations that derive the current ABR, nine are Strong Buy and two are Buy. Strong Buy and Buy respectively account for 60% and 13.3% of all recommendations.

Brokerage Recommendation Trends for ARCC

Check price target & stock forecast for Ares Capital here>>>

The ABR suggests buying Ares Capital, but making an investment decision solely on the basis of this information might not be a good idea. According to several studies, brokerage recommendations have little to no success guiding investors to choose stocks with the most potential for price appreciation.

Do you wonder why? As a result of the vested interest of brokerage firms in a stock they cover, their analysts tend to rate it with a strong positive bias. According to our research, brokerage firms assign five "Strong Buy" recommendations for every "Strong Sell" recommendation.

This means that the interests of these institutions are not always aligned with those of retail investors, giving little insight into the direction of a stock's future price movement. It would therefore be best to use this information to validate your own analysis or a tool that has proven to be highly effective at predicting stock price movements.

With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, which classifies stocks into five groups, ranging from Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) to Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell), is a reliable indicator of a stock's near-term price performance. So, validating the Zacks Rank with ABR could go a long way in making a profitable investment decision.

Zacks Rank Should Not Be Confused With ABRAlthough both Zacks Rank and ABR are displayed in a range of 1--5, they are different measures altogether.

Broker recommendations are the sole basis for calculating the ABR, which is typically displayed in decimals (such as 1.28). The Zacks Rank, on the other hand, is a quantitative model designed to harness the power of earnings estimate revisions. It is displayed in whole numbers -- 1 to 5.

Analysts employed by brokerage firms have been and continue to be overly optimistic with their recommendations. Since the ratings issued by these analysts are more favorable than their research would support because of the vested interest of their employers, they mislead investors far more often than they guide.

In contrast, the Zacks Rank is driven by earnings estimate revisions. And near-term stock price movements are strongly correlated with trends in earnings estimate revisions, according to empirical research.

Furthermore, the different grades of the Zacks Rank are applied proportionately across all stocks for which brokerage analysts provide earnings estimates for the current year. In other words, at all times, this tool maintains a balance among the five ranks it assigns.

Another key difference between the ABR and Zacks Rank is freshness. The ABR is not necessarily up-to-date when you look at it. But, since brokerage analysts keep revising their earnings estimates to account for a company's changing business trends, and their actions get reflected in the Zacks Rank quickly enough, it is always timely in indicating future price movements.

Is ARCC Worth Investing In?Looking at the earnings estimate revisions for Ares Capital, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has declined 0.2% over the past month to $1.9.

Analysts' growing pessimism over the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by strong agreement among them in revising EPS estimates lower, could be a legitimate reason for the stock to plunge in the near term.

The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #4 (Sell) for Ares Capital. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>>

Therefore, it could be wise to take the Buy-equivalent ABR for Ares Capital with a grain of salt.

Earnings Preview: Ares Capital (ARCC) Q2 Earnings Expected to Decline
ARCC Ares Capital
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Wall Street expects a year-over-year decline in earnings on higher revenues when Ares Capital (ARCC - Free Report) reports results for the quarter ended June 2026.

While management's discussion of business conditions on the earnings call will mostly determine the sustainability of the immediate price change and future earnings expectations, it's worth having a handicapping insight into the odds of a positive EPS surprise.

Zacks Consensus EstimateThis private equity firm is expected to post quarterly earnings of $0.47 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of -6%.

Revenues are expected to be $768.95 million, up 3.2% from the year-ago quarter.

Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 0.52% lower over the last 30 days to the current level.

How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for Ares Capital? For Ares Capital, the Most Accurate Estimate is lower than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bearish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of -3.85%.

On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #4.

So, this combination makes it difficult to conclusively predict that Ares Capital will beat the consensus EPS estimate.

Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue?Analysts often consider to what extent a company has been able to match consensus estimates in the past while calculating their estimates for its future earnings. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.

For the last reported quarter, it was expected that Ares Capital would post earnings of $0.48 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.47, delivering a surprise of -2.08%.

The company has not been able to beat consensus EPS estimates in any of the last four quarters.

Ares Capital doesn't appear a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.

Expected Results of an Industry PlayerAres Capital (ARCC - Free Report) , another stock in the Zacks Financial - SBIC & Commercial Industry industry, is expected to report earnings per share of $0.47 for the quarter ended June 2026. This estimate points to a year-over-year change of -6%. Revenues for the quarter are expected to be $768.95 million, up 3.2% from the year-ago quarter.

The consensus EPS estimate for Ares Capital has been revised 0.5% lower over the last 30 days to the current level. However, a lower Most Accurate Estimate has resulted in an Earnings ESP of -3.85%.

This Earnings ESP, combined with its Zacks Rank #4 (Sell), makes it difficult to conclusively predict that Ares Capital will beat the consensus EPS estimate. The company could not beat consensus EPS estimates in any of the last four quarters.

Recent Price Trend in Geo Group (GEO) is Your Friend, Here's Why
GEO GEO Group
FMP Stock News
Original source text
While "the trend is your friend" when it comes to short-term investing or trading, timing entries into the trend is a key determinant of success. And increasing the odds of success by making sure the sustainability of a trend isn't easy.

The trend often reverses before exiting the trade, leading to a short-term capital loss for investors. So, for a profitable trade, one should confirm factors such as sound fundamentals, positive earnings estimate revisions, etc. that could keep the momentum in the stock alive.

Our "Recent Price Strength" screen, which is created on a unique short-term trading strategy, could be pretty useful in this regard. This predefined screen makes it really easy to shortlist the stocks that have enough fundamental strength to maintain their recent uptrend. Also, the screen passes only the stocks that are trading in the upper portion of their 52-week high-low range, which is usually an indicator of bullishness.

There are several stocks that passed through the screen and Geo Group (GEO - Free Report) is one of them. Here are the key reasons why this stock is a solid choice for "trend" investing.

A solid price increase over a period of 12 weeks reflects investors' continued willingness to pay more for the potential upside in a stock. GEO is quite a good fit in this regard, gaining 65.9% over this period.

However, it's not enough to look at the price change for around three months, as it doesn't reflect any trend reversal that might have happened in a shorter time frame. It's important for a potential winner to maintain the price trend. A price increase of 4.2% over the past four weeks ensures that the trend is still in place for the stock of this private prison operator.

Moreover, GEO is currently trading at 94.8% of its 52-week High-Low Range, hinting that it can be on the verge of a breakout.

Looking at the fundamentals, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy), which means it is in the top 20% of more than the 4,000 stocks that we rank based on trends in earnings estimate revisions and EPS surprises -- the key factors that impact a stock's near-term price movements.

The Zacks Rank stock-rating system, which uses four factors related to earnings estimates to classify stocks into five groups, ranging from Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) to Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell), has an impressive externally-audited track record, with Zacks Rank #1 stocks generating an average annual return of +25% since 1988. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>>

Another factor that confirms the company's fundamental strength is its Average Broker Recommendation of #1 (Strong Buy). This indicates that the brokerage community is highly optimistic about the stock's near-term price performance.

So, the price trend in GEO may not reverse anytime soon.

In addition to GEO, there are several other stocks that currently pass through our "Recent Price Strength" screen. You may consider investing in them and start looking for the newest stocks that fit these criteria.

This is not the only screen that could help you find your next winning stock pick. Based on your personal investing style, you may choose from over 45 Zacks Premium Screens that are strategically created to beat the market.

However, keep in mind that the key to a successful stock-picking strategy is to ensure that it produced profitable results in the past. Analysts Estimate Biogen Inc. (BIIB) to Report a Decline in Earnings: What to Look Out for
BIIB Biogen
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Biogen Inc. (BIIB - Free Report) is expected to deliver a year-over-year decline in earnings on lower revenues when it reports results for the quarter ended June 2026. This widely-known consensus outlook gives a good sense of the company's earnings picture, but how the actual results compare to these estimates is a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price.

Zacks Consensus EstimateThis company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $3.13 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of -42.8%.

Revenues are expected to be $2.43 billion, down 8.1% from the year-ago quarter.

Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 9.33% lower over the last 30 days to the current level. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period.

Investors should keep in mind that the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts may not always get reflected in the aggregate change.

How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for Biogen? For Biogen, the Most Accurate Estimate is lower than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bearish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of -3.60%.

On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #3.

So, this combination makes it difficult to conclusively predict that Biogen will beat the consensus EPS estimate.

Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue?Analysts often consider to what extent a company has been able to match consensus estimates in the past while calculating their estimates for its future earnings. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.

For the last reported quarter, it was expected that Biogen would post earnings of $2.95 per share when it actually produced earnings of $3.57, delivering a surprise of +21.02%.

Biogen doesn't appear a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.

Expected Results of an Industry PlayerAmong the stocks in the Zacks Medical - Biomedical and Genetics industry, GSK (GSK - Free Report) , is soon expected to post earnings of $1.27 per share for the quarter ended June 2026. This estimate indicates a year-over-year change of +3.3%. This quarter's revenue is expected to be $10.77 billion, up 1% from the year-ago quarter.

Over the last 30 days, the consensus EPS estimate for Glaxo has been revised 2.8% up to the current level. Nevertheless, the company now has an Earnings ESP of -0.20%, reflecting a lower Most Accurate Estimate.

When combined with a Zacks Rank of #3 (Hold), this Earnings ESP makes it difficult to conclusively predict that Glaxo will beat the consensus EPS estimate. The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters.

A komu tím prospějete? Patria Stock News
Original source text
To není žádný detail, o čínském šoku 2.0 se hovoří intenzivně i v Evropě a já k tomu dnes přidám pár příběhů.

A tudíž exporty.

Babiš to sdělil novinářům před odletem do Srbska.

CoreWeave Jumps 6% on Truist Buy Upgrade, Pulling Ahead of Cloudflare, Snowflake, Oracle

CoreWeave (NASDAQ:CRWV) shares are climbing in Wednesday morning trading, with CoreWeave stock up 6% to $84.02 after a fresh analyst endorsement. The move stands out against a soft tape for cloud infrastructure peers, with Cloudflare (NYSE:NET | NET Price Prediction) shares down 1% to $268.46, Snowflake (NYSE:SNOW) shares down 2% to $265.68, and Oracle (NYSE:ORCL) stock unchanged at $126.50.

The rally is idiosyncratic. CoreWeave stock is riding a specific analyst catalyst rather than a broader sector bid, and the divergence tells the story of the session.

Truist Upgrade Reframes the Inference Story Truist upgraded CoreWeave stock to Buy from Hold, with a price target of $126, trimmed slightly from $131. The firm’s thesis argues that the next phase of AI spending shifts from model training to inference, with open models and sovereign AI broadening compute demand beyond the largest hyperscalers.

Truist frames CoreWeave as the leading neocloud, with roughly 1 gigawatt of active power online, a large revenue backlog, and significant contracted capacity, trading at a discount to neocloud peers. The firm also flagged risks tied to Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META) and its planned cloud initiatives, along with potential data-center policy constraints.

Separately, Baird initiated CoreWeave stock at Outperform with a $100 price target, stressing that demand far outpaces supply and that execution is key. Reinforcing the inference angle, CoreWeave announced today that Anam, a privately held interactive-AI-avatar platform, selected CoreWeave Cloud to run inference workloads on NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs across the U.S. and Europe.

Divergence Across the AI Cloud Cohort CoreWeave is pulling ahead while the broader cloud group lags. Cloudflare stock and Snowflake stock are both lower, and Oracle stock is flat, even with CoreWeave rallying on its upgrade. The move is analyst-driven, not a rising tide across cloud infrastructure names.

Two peers riding the same training-to-inference theme are also higher. DigitalOcean (NYSE:DOCN) shares are up 4% to $141.97 after Stifel upgraded it to Buy from Hold and Baird initiated coverage at Outperform. Nebius stock is up 2% to $220.70 after Baird initiated coverage at Outperform, calling it a strong beneficiary of the training-to-inference shift.

Act now: the analyst who called NVIDIA in 2010 just named his top 10 AI stocks — and Snowflake didn't make the cut. Grab the names FREE today.

The First Trust Cloud Computing ETF (NASDAQ:SKYY) tells the divergence in one number. The fund holds all four of the subject names, yet the ETF is down 2% to $133.59 because the broader cloud tape is soft. CoreWeave sits as the third-largest CRWV-adjacent position at 3% of net assets, so its rally cannot lift a single-theme, sector-concentrated basket on its own.

Context on Targets and Valuation CoreWeave stock now trades well below the average analyst target of $140.55, with the sell-side split at 24 buy-equivalent, 11 hold, and 2 sell ratings. That backdrop leaves room for further analyst catalysts if the inference thesis gains traction.

The bull case rests on CoreWeave’s contracted backlog and NVIDIA partnership. Meanwhile, the bear case is heavy capital intensity, GPU depreciation exposure, and customer concentration. Investors may want to keep their position sizes modest given the stock’s volatility profile and the 33% pullback over the past month.

What to Watch Follow-on analyst commentary could shape the tape into the close. Investors can watch for whether CoreWeave stock holds its gains, whether DigitalOcean shares and Nebius stock continue to track the same inference narrative, and whether the AI-cloud peers stabilize as the session progresses.

The key takeaway is that today’s move is a single-name, catalyst-driven rally rather than a sector-wide re-rating. Truist’s upgrade reframes CoreWeave around the inference opportunity, and the stock’s discount to neocloud peers gives the thesis room to run if follow-on analyst commentary emerges.

For investors, the setup calls for discipline. The buyers lean on backlog visibility and the NVIDIA partnership, while the sellers may be concerned about the capital intensity and customer concentration. Watching for whether today’s gains hold into the close, and whether the peers stabilize, can help traders get a clean read on where CRWV and other AI-cloud stocks may be headed.

Act now: the analyst who called NVIDIA in 2010 just named his top 10 AI stocks — and Snowflake didn't make the cut. Grab the names FREE today.

Should Value Investors Buy Cardinal Health (CAH) Stock?
CAH Cardinal Health
FMP Stock News
Original source text
The proven Zacks Rank system focuses on earnings estimates and estimate revisions to find winning stocks. Nevertheless, we know that our readers all have their own perspectives, so we are always looking at the latest trends in value, growth, and momentum to find strong picks.

Looking at the history of these trends, perhaps none is more beloved than value investing. This strategy simply looks to identify companies that are being undervalued by the broader market. Value investors use fundamental analysis and traditional valuation metrics to find stocks that they believe are being undervalued by the market at large.

On top of the Zacks Rank, investors can also look at our innovative Style Scores system to find stocks with specific traits. For example, value investors will want to focus on the "Value" category. Stocks with high Zacks Ranks and "A" grades for Value will be some of the highest-quality value stocks on the market today.

One stock to keep an eye on is Cardinal Health (CAH - Free Report) . CAH is currently sporting a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy), as well as an A grade for Value. The stock has a Forward P/E ratio of 15.48. This compares to its industry's average Forward P/E of 16.88. CAH's Forward P/E has been as high as 20.15 and as low as 13.69, with a median of 15.30, all within the past year.

CAH is also sporting a PEG ratio of 1.24. This popular figure is similar to the widely-used P/E ratio, but the PEG ratio also considers a company's expected EPS growth rate. CAH's industry currently sports an average PEG of 1.90. Over the last 12 months, CAH's PEG has been as high as 1.88 and as low as 1.22, with a median of 1.49.

Finally, our model also underscores that CAH has a P/CF ratio of 15.27. This metric takes into account a company's operating cash flow and can be used to find stocks that are undervalued based on their solid cash outlook. This company's current P/CF looks solid when compared to its industry's average P/CF of 17.89. Over the past 52 weeks, CAH's P/CF has been as high as 17.47 and as low as 12.96, with a median of 15.12.

These are only a few of the key metrics included in Cardinal Health's strong Value grade, but they help show that the stock is likely undervalued right now. When factoring in the strength of its earnings outlook, CAH looks like an impressive value stock at the moment.

Levi & Korsinsky Reminds Lucid Group, Inc. Investors of the Pending Class Action Lawsuit With a Lead Plaintiff Deadline of July 28, 2026 - LCID
LCID Lucid Group
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Lucid Group Promised Investors a "Repeatable" Operating Cadence and 5,237 Expected Deliveries; Reality Delivered 3,093 Vehicles, a $151.8 Million Revenue Shortfall, and Nearly $1 Billion in Quarterly Losses

, /PRNewswire/ -- Levi & Korsinsky, LLP highlights the contrast between Lucid Group, Inc.'s (NASDAQ: LCID) promises to investors and the results that followed. Check if you can recover your LCID investment losses or contact Joseph E. Levi, Esq. at [email protected] or (212) 363-7500.

LCID shares declined 11.35% on the first corrective disclosure and an additional 4.76% on the second, combining for a reduction of $1.57 in share price.

On February 24, 2026, Lucid Group's leadership told investors the company had achieved "structural" progress and a "repeatable operating cadence heading into 2026." Six weeks later, Lucid revealed it delivered only 3,093 vehicles in Q1, missing expectations by over 40%, after a 29-day delivery halt it never disclosed during those weeks of optimism. The stock slumped from nearly $10 per share to only $8.80 across two corrective disclosures.

The Promise

In late February 2026, Lucid's executives painted a picture of operational maturity and discipline. The lawsuit contends that management made specific, quantifiable representations about the company's trajectory:

An underlying production run rate "that supports up to 7,500 vehicles per quarter" Progress described as "structural" and "not the result of temporary measures" Quality problems with Gravity hardware characterized as overcome Days on hand of 108 in December, with expectations to "trend down in Q1 2026" A focus on "predictable execution and repeatable process improvements" These statements were delivered at the Q4 2025 earnings call on February 24, 2026, and reinforced at the March 12, 2026 investor day, where management emphasized "near-term execution" and "scaling Lucid Gravity" as 2026 priorities.

The Reality

The action claims that while these assurances were being made, a supplier quality issue had already disrupted Gravity deliveries in February 2026. According to the complaint, an unauthorized supplier change resulted in seatbelt anchor welds that did not meet safety standards, forcing Lucid to pause deliveries for 29 days and recall 4,476 vehicles. The filing asserts this was not disclosed until April 3, 2026.

The Numbers: Promised vs. Actual

Expected Q1 Deliveries: 5,237 vehicles → Actual: 3,093 vehicles (41% miss) Expected Q1 Revenue: $433.8 million → Actual: $280-$284 million (35% shortfall) Expected Operating Trajectory: Improving unit economics → Actual: $985 million to $1.005 billion operating loss Expected GAAP EPS: -$2.63 → Actual: -$3.46 (missed by $0.83) Capital Position: Positioned for discipline → Actual: $1.05 billion capital raise announced, including dilutive stock offering What the Lawsuit Alleges About the Gap

The complaint contends that this was not a case of unforeseeable market conditions. As alleged, deliveries were "particularly hit in February" and the disruption was already underway when executives described their operations as structurally improved. The lawsuit asserts that by continuing to tout enhanced capabilities while concealing a known supply chain failure, defendants maintained artificially inflated stock prices during the Class Period.

"Companies that make specific promises to investors about future performance have an obligation to disclose known risks to those projections. The gap between what Lucid told investors in late February and what was actually occurring in its delivery operations raises serious questions about the adequacy and timeliness of its disclosures." -- Joseph E. Levi, Esq.

Q: What specific misstatements does the LCID lawsuit allege? A: The complaint alleges Lucid Group made materially false or misleading statements regarding its manufacturing and delivery capabilities, including claims of "structural" progress and a "repeatable operating cadence," while a 29-day supplier-driven delivery halt was already disrupting operations. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for Investors Regarding the ZoomInfo Securities Class Action Lawsuit:

What is the ZoomInfo securities fraud lawsuit about?

The lawsuit alleges that ZoomInfo Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: GTM) and certain of its officers and directors violated federal securities laws by making materially false and misleading statements to investors during the class period. Specifically, the complaint alleges that defendants issued overwhelmingly positive statements while allegedly concealing the true extent of slowing growth in ZoomInfo's legacy seat-based subscription platforms and weakening customer retention in its downmarket segment. The complaint further alleges that defendants minimized concerns that customers were shifting toward consumption-based usage models and developing internal AI-driven go-to-market solutions, which allegedly masked material adverse trends affecting the Company's business. On May 11, 2026, after markets closed, ZoomInfo allegedly disclosed the severity of these conditions when it announced sharply lowered full-year 2026 guidance, a realignment of its downmarket business, a workforce reduction of approximately 20%, and anticipated restructuring costs of approximately $45-60 million - news that allegedly caused the Company's stock to decline approximately 33% the following trading day.

Who may be eligible to participate in the lawsuit?

Investors who purchased or otherwise acquired ZoomInfo Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: GTM) securities during the class period - between November 3, 2025 and May 11, 2026, inclusive - may be eligible to participate in this lawsuit. Eligible investors are not limited to those who seek appointment as lead plaintiff; any class member who suffered losses during the class period may potentially share in any recovery obtained on behalf of the class. Investors are encouraged to review their trading records to determine whether their purchases fall within the applicable class period dates. Participation in the litigation does not require that an investor take an active role in the case or incur out-of-pocket legal expenses to be considered a potential class member.

What is a lead plaintiff, and how can I seek appointment?

A lead plaintiff is a court-appointed representative who acts on behalf of all class members in directing the litigation, including selecting and overseeing class counsel and making key strategic decisions in the case. Under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act, any investor who purchased ZoomInfo Technologies securities during the class period and suffered a loss may move the court for appointment as lead plaintiff. The deadline to file a motion seeking lead plaintiff appointment is August 24, 2026. Importantly, investors are not required to serve as lead plaintiff in order to be eligible to share in any recovery that may result from the litigation; the vast majority of class members participate without taking on that representative role.

What should investors do if they purchased ZoomInfo stock during the Class Period?

Investors who purchased ZoomInfo Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: GTM) securities between November 3, 2025 and May 11, 2026 should promptly review their brokerage and account records to confirm the dates and prices of any relevant transactions. Investors are strongly encouraged to preserve all documentation related to their ZoomInfo securities purchases, including trade confirmations, account statements, and any communications concerning those investments. Given that the lead plaintiff motion deadline is August 24, 2026, investors who wish to explore their legal options - including the possibility of seeking appointment as lead plaintiff - should act in a timely manner. Investors may wish to consult with Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP or other qualified securities counsel to evaluate their rights and potential claims prior to that deadline.

Why should investors contact Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP?

Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP has represented investors in securities litigation for decades and has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for shareholders. Investors who purchased ZoomInfo securities during the Class Period may contact the firm to discuss their legal rights, potential claims, and the lead plaintiff process at no cost or obligation.

From Confidence to Collapse: How ZoomInfo's Shifting Investor Sentiment Exposed a 33% Stock Price Decline and Alleged Concealment of Weakening Business Fundamentals

, /PRNewswire/ -- Levi & Korsinsky, LLP provides context on how investor sentiment toward ZoomInfo Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: GTM) evolved during the Class Period of November 3, 2025 through May 11, 2026, and how shareholders were allegedly harmed when the true state of the business was revealed. Find out if you qualify to recover your per-share losses. You may also contact Joseph E. Levi, Esq. at [email protected] or (212) 363-7500.

Shares fell approximately 33%, or $1.98 per share, following ZoomInfo's Q1 2026 earnings disclosure on May 11, 2026. The lead plaintiff deadline is August 24, 2026.

For much of late 2025 and early 2026, investor sentiment surrounding ZoomInfo Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: GTM) was shaped by a narrative of improving business momentum, accelerating AI adoption, and improving retention metrics. That optimism evaporated on May 12, 2026, when shares lost $1.98 per share, a decline of approximately 33%, after the company disclosed a sharp deterioration in its growth outlook and slashed full-year 2026 guidance

The Early Optimism

The Q3 2025 earnings release on November 3, 2025 carried hallmarks of a turnaround story: record quarterly revenue of $318 million, 5% year-over-year growth, net revenue retention climbing to 90% (the highest since Q2 2023), and a return to Rule of 40 status for the first time in six quarters. The Operations suite was growing over 20% annually and represented more than 15% of total business.

Management also highlighted that the Operations suite was growing more than 20% year over year and represented more than 15% of annual contract value at successive investor conferences throughout November and December 2025, describing ZoomInfo as an "AI beneficiary" with a "generational opportunity" ahead. Full-year 2025 revenue guidance was raised.

The Growing Concerns

Beneath the surface, the lawsuit contends, material headwinds were already undermining the bullish narrative:

Customers in the downmarket segment were experiencing weakening retention and higher churn that management did not adequately disclose The legacy seat-based subscription model faced structural pressure as customers migrated toward consumption-based usage Enterprises were developing their own internal AI-driven go-to-market solutions, reducing dependence on ZoomInfo's platform Despite management's positive descriptions of Copilot, GTM Workspace, and other AI initiatives, these offerings were not preventing weakening demand in the Company's legacy business. These headwinds were allegedly known to management even as they projected "confidence in our path ahead" and guided for positive revenue growth in fiscal 2026.

The Breaking Point

On May 11, 2026, after the market closed, ZoomInfo reported Q1 2026 results that reduced the Company's growth outlook. The company unveiled a sharp decline in its growth outlook and cut its 2026 full-year financial guidance. The contrast between six months of bullish commentary and this sudden reversal triggered an immediate reassessment. GTM shares fell from $6.04 to $4.06 on May 12, 2026.

Sentiment Arc and Investor Harm

The action asserts that the arc from confidence to collapse was not the product of sudden, unforeseeable market shifts. Rather, plaintiffs contend management amplified a turnaround narrative while concealing deteriorating fundamentals in the very segments that would later drive the guidance cut. Investors who purchased GTM shares during the Class Period relied on a sentiment environment that was allegedly sustained by incomplete and misleading disclosures.

"Investor confidence depends on receiving truthful information from the companies they invest in. When the gap between public messaging and internal reality grows this wide, shareholders bear the cost," stated Joseph E. Levi, Esq.

Q: How much did GTM stock drop? A: Shares fell approximately 33%, a decline of $1.98 per share, after ZoomInfo disclosed a sharp decline in its growth outlook and lowered its 2026 full-year financial guidance. Upstart Holdings, Inc. (UPST) is Attracting Investor Attention: Here is What You Should Know
UPST Upstart Holdings
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Upstart Holdings, Inc. (UPST - Free Report) has been one of the most searched-for stocks on Zacks.com lately. So, you might want to look at some of the facts that could shape the stock's performance in the near term.

Over the past month, shares of this company have returned -7%, compared to the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +0.3% change. During this period, the Zacks Financial - Miscellaneous Services industry, which Upstart falls in, has lost 3.8%. The key question now is: What could be the stock's future direction?

While media releases or rumors about a substantial change in a company's business prospects usually make its stock 'trending' and lead to an immediate price change, there are always some fundamental facts that eventually dominate the buy-and-hold decision-making.

Revisions to Earnings EstimatesRather than focusing on anything else, we at Zacks prioritize evaluating the change in a company's earnings projection. This is because we believe the fair value for its stock is determined by the present value of its future stream of earnings.

Our analysis is essentially based on how sell-side analysts covering the stock are revising their earnings estimates to take the latest business trends into account. When earnings estimates for a company go up, the fair value for its stock goes up as well. And when a stock's fair value is higher than its current market price, investors tend to buy the stock, resulting in its price moving upward. Because of this, empirical studies indicate a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and short-term stock price movements.

Upstart is expected to post earnings of $0.58 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +61.1%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate remained unchanged.

The consensus earnings estimate of $2.25 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +29.3%. This estimate has remained unchanged over the last 30 days.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $3.26 indicates a change of +44.9% from what Upstart is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed -0.9%.

Having a strong externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, offers a more conclusive picture of a stock's price direction in the near term, since it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. Due to the size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, Upstart is rated Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).

The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:

12 Month EPS

Projected Revenue GrowthWhile earnings growth is arguably the most superior indicator of a company's financial health, nothing happens as such if a business isn't able to grow its revenues. After all, it's nearly impossible for a company to increase its earnings for an extended period without increasing its revenues. So, it's important to know a company's potential revenue growth.

In the case of Upstart, the consensus sales estimate of $354.89 million for the current quarter points to a year-over-year change of +37.9%. The $1.43 billion and $1.86 billion estimates for the current and next fiscal years indicate changes of +36.5% and +30.6%, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryUpstart reported revenues of $308.21 million in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +44.4%. EPS of $0.3 for the same period compares with $0.3 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $289.36 million, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +6.51%. The EPS surprise was -23.08%.

Over the last four quarters, Upstart surpassed consensus EPS estimates two times. The company topped consensus revenue estimates three times over this period.

ValuationWithout considering a stock's valuation, no investment decision can be efficient. In predicting a stock's future price performance, it's crucial to determine whether its current price correctly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects.

Comparing the current value of a company's valuation multiples, such as its price-to-earnings (P/E), price-to-sales (P/S), and price-to-cash flow (P/CF), to its own historical values helps ascertain whether its stock is fairly valued, overvalued, or undervalued, whereas comparing the company relative to its peers on these parameters gives a good sense of how reasonable its stock price is.

As part of the Zacks Style Scores system, the Zacks Value Style Score (which evaluates both traditional and unconventional valuation metrics) organizes stocks into five groups ranging from A to F (A is better than B; B is better than C; and so on), making it helpful in identifying whether a stock is overvalued, rightly valued, or temporarily undervalued.

Upstart is graded D on this front, indicating that it is trading at a premium to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

Bottom LineThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Upstart. However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

7.05% Yield With Plenty Of Upside From Rithm Capital Preferred Share

Rithm Capital preferred D shares offer a compelling risk/reward profile near the top of my buy range. RITM-D currently yields 7.05% with an 8.7% yield-to-call, but resets to 5-year Treasury + 6.223% in November 2026, potentially boosting yield to ~10.65%. Call risk exists at the 2026 reset, but even a call provides a solid 8.7% annualized return; if not called, yield and price could rise further.

Is It Worth Investing in Lam Research (LRCX) Based on Wall Street's Bullish Views?
LRCX Lam Research
FMP Stock News
Original source text
When deciding whether to buy, sell, or hold a stock, investors often rely on analyst recommendations. Media reports about rating changes by these brokerage-firm-employed (or sell-side) analysts often influence a stock's price, but are they really important?

Before we discuss the reliability of brokerage recommendations and how to use them to your advantage, let's see what these Wall Street heavyweights think about Lam Research (LRCX - Free Report) .

Lam Research currently has an average brokerage recommendation (ABR) of 1.51, on a scale of 1 to 5 (Strong Buy to Strong Sell), calculated based on the actual recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell, etc.) made by 34 brokerage firms. An ABR of 1.51 approximates between Strong Buy and Buy.

Of the 34 recommendations that derive the current ABR, 23 are Strong Buy and four are Buy. Strong Buy and Buy respectively account for 67.7% and 11.8% of all recommendations.

Brokerage Recommendation Trends for LRCX

Check price target & stock forecast for Lam Research here>>>

While the ABR calls for buying Lam Research, it may not be wise to make an investment decision solely based on this information. Several studies have shown limited to no success of brokerage recommendations in guiding investors to pick stocks with the best price increase potential.

Are you wondering why? The vested interest of brokerage firms in a stock they cover often results in a strong positive bias of their analysts in rating it. Our research shows that for every "Strong Sell" recommendation, brokerage firms assign five "Strong Buy" recommendations.

This means that the interests of these institutions are not always aligned with those of retail investors, giving little insight into the direction of a stock's future price movement. It would therefore be best to use this information to validate your own analysis or a tool that has proven to be highly effective at predicting stock price movements.

Zacks Rank, our proprietary stock rating tool with an impressive externally audited track record, categorizes stocks into five groups, ranging from Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) to Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell), and is an effective indicator of a stock's price performance in the near future. Therefore, using the ABR to validate the Zacks Rank could be an efficient way of making a profitable investment decision.

It has been and continues to be the case that analysts employed by brokerage firms are overly optimistic with their recommendations. Because of their employers' vested interests, these analysts issue more favorable ratings than their research would support, misguiding investors far more often than helping them.

Should You Invest in LRCX?In terms of earnings estimate revisions for Lam Research, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has increased 0.8% over the past month to $5.68.

Analysts' growing optimism over the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by strong agreement among them in revising EPS estimates higher, could be a legitimate reason for the stock to soar in the near term.

The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) for Lam Research. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>>

Therefore, the Buy-equivalent ABR for Lam Research may serve as a useful guide for investors.

Lam Research (LRCX) Earnings Expected to Grow: What to Know Ahead of Next Week's Release
LRCX Lam Research
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Lam Research (LRCX - Free Report) is expected to deliver a year-over-year increase in earnings on higher revenues when it reports results for the quarter ended June 2026. This widely-known consensus outlook gives a good sense of the company's earnings picture, but how the actual results compare to these estimates is a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price.

Zacks Consensus EstimateThis semiconductor equipment maker is expected to post quarterly earnings of $1.69 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of +27.1%.

Revenues are expected to be $6.67 billion, up 29% from the year-ago quarter.

Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 1.25% higher over the last 30 days to the current level. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period.

Investors should keep in mind that the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts may not always get reflected in the aggregate change.

How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for Lam Research? For Lam Research, the Most Accurate Estimate is higher than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bullish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +1.38%.

On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #2.

So, this combination indicates that Lam Research will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate.

Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue?Analysts often consider to what extent a company has been able to match consensus estimates in the past while calculating their estimates for its future earnings. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.

For the last reported quarter, it was expected that Lam Research would post earnings of $1.36 per share when it actually produced earnings of $1.47, delivering a surprise of +8.09%.

Lam Research appears a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.

An Industry Player's Expected ResultsAmong the stocks in the Zacks Electronics - Semiconductors industry, Lam Research (LRCX - Free Report) , is soon expected to post earnings of $1.69 per share for the quarter ended June 2026. This estimate indicates a year-over-year change of +27.1%. This quarter's revenue is expected to be $6.67 billion, up 29% from the year-ago quarter.

The consensus EPS estimate for Lam Research has been revised 1.3% higher over the last 30 days to the current level. However, a higher Most Accurate Estimate has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +1.38%.

This Earnings ESP, combined with its Zacks Rank #2 (Buy), suggests that Lam Research will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate. The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters.

Brokers Suggest Investing in Dell Technologies (DELL): Read This Before Placing a Bet
DELL Dell
FMP Stock News
Original source text
The recommendations of Wall Street analysts are often relied on by investors when deciding whether to buy, sell, or hold a stock. Media reports about these brokerage-firm-employed (or sell-side) analysts changing their ratings often affect a stock's price. Do they really matter, though?

Before we discuss the reliability of brokerage recommendations and how to use them to your advantage, let's see what these Wall Street heavyweights think about Dell Technologies (DELL - Free Report) .

Dell Technologies currently has an average brokerage recommendation (ABR) of 1.64, on a scale of 1 to 5 (Strong Buy to Strong Sell), calculated based on the actual recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell, etc.) made by 25 brokerage firms. An ABR of 1.64 approximates between Strong Buy and Buy.

Of the 25 recommendations that derive the current ABR, 16 are Strong Buy and two are Buy. Strong Buy and Buy respectively account for 64% and 8% of all recommendations.

Brokerage Recommendation Trends for DELL

Check price target & stock forecast for Dell Technologies here>>>

The ABR suggests buying Dell Technologies, but making an investment decision solely on the basis of this information might not be a good idea. According to several studies, brokerage recommendations have little to no success guiding investors to choose stocks with the most potential for price appreciation.

Are you wondering why? The vested interest of brokerage firms in a stock they cover often results in a strong positive bias of their analysts in rating it. Our research shows that for every "Strong Sell" recommendation, brokerage firms assign five "Strong Buy" recommendations.

In other words, their interests aren't always aligned with retail investors, rarely indicating where the price of a stock could actually be heading. Therefore, the best use of this information could be validating your own research or an indicator that has proven to be highly successful in predicting a stock's price movement.

On the other hand, earnings estimate revisions are at the core of the Zacks Rank. And empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.

Is DELL Worth Investing In?Looking at the earnings estimate revisions for Dell Technologies, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has increased 0.9% over the past month to $18.8.

Analysts' growing optimism over the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by strong agreement among them in revising EPS estimates higher, could be a legitimate reason for the stock to soar in the near term.

The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) for Dell Technologies. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>>

Therefore, the Buy-equivalent ABR for Dell Technologies may serve as a useful guide for investors.

Why Cigna (CI) is a Top Momentum Stock for the Long-Term

For new and old investors, taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals. Zacks Premium provides lots of different ways to do both.

Featuring daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, full access to the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens, the research service can help you become a smarter, more self-assured investor.

Zacks Premium also includes the Zacks Style Scores.

What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores, developed alongside the Zacks Rank, are complementary indicators that rate stocks based on three widely-followed investing methodologies; they also help investors pick stocks with the best chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.

Each stock is given an alphabetic rating of A, B, C, D or F based on their value, growth, and momentum qualities. With this system, an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on, meaning the better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform.

The Style Scores are broken down into four categories:

Value ScoreFinding good stocks at good prices, and discovering which companies are trading under their true value, are what value investors like to focus on. So, the Value Style Score takes into account ratios like P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, Price/Cash Flow, and a host of other multiples to highlight the most attractive and discounted stocks.

Growth ScoreGrowth investors are more concerned with a stock's future prospects, and the overall financial health and strength of a company. Thus, the Growth Style Score analyzes characteristics like projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow to find stocks that will see sustainable growth over time.

Momentum ScoreMomentum investors, who live by the saying "the trend is your friend," are most interested in taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook. Utilizing one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates, among other factors, the Momentum Style Score can help determine favorable times to buy high-momentum stocks.

VGM ScoreIf you want a combination of all three Style Scores, then the VGM Score will be your friend. It rates each stock on their combined weighted styles, helping you find the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum. It's also one of the best indicators to use with the Zacks Rank.

How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank, which is a proprietary stock-rating model, employs earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to make building a winning portfolio easier.

It's highly successful, with #1 (Strong Buy) stocks producing an unmatched +23.94% average annual return since 1988. That's more than double the S&P 500. But because of the large number of stocks we rate, there are over 200 companies with a Strong Buy rank, plus another 600 with a #2 (Buy) rank, on any given day.

This totals more than 800 top-rated stocks, and it can be overwhelming to try and pick the best stocks for you and your portfolio.

That's where the Style Scores come in.

To have the best chance of big returns, you'll want to always consider stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B, which will give you the highest probability of success. If you're looking at stocks with a #3 (Hold) rank, it's important they have Scores of A or B as well to ensure as much upside potential as possible.

The direction of a stock's earnings estimate revisions should always be a key factor when choosing which stocks to buy, since the Scores were created to work together with the Zacks Rank.

A stock with a #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell) rating, for instance, even one with Scores of A and B, will still have a declining earnings forecast, and a greater chance its share price will fall too.

Thus, the more stocks you own with a #1 or #2 Rank and Scores of A or B, the better.

Stock to Watch: Cigna (CI - Free Report) Headquartered in Bloomfield, CT and formed in 1982, Cigna Corporation has rebranded itself as The Cigna Group. The company was formed as a result of a merger between Connecticut General Life Insurance Company and Insurance Company of North America. Cigna completed its combination with Express Scripts Holding Company by 2018-end. Shares of the new combined company trade on the NYSE under the stock ticker symbol “CI.”

CI is a #3 (Hold) on the Zacks Rank, with a VGM Score of A.

Momentum investors should take note of this Medical stock. CI has a Momentum Style Score of A, and shares are up 2.6% over the past four weeks.

One analyst revised their earnings estimate higher in the last 60 days for fiscal 2026, while the Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.01 to $30.39 per share. CI also boasts an average earnings surprise of +1.9%.

With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Momentum and VGM Style Scores, CI should be on investors' short list.

Boxabl Disrupts Housing With A Tiny Float IPO
DHI D.R. Horton
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Capital markets recently welcomed a severe threat to traditional homebuilding. Boxabl Inc. NASDAQ: BXBL officially listed on the public markets via a special-purpose acquisition company. Boxabl carries an eye-watering $3.5 billion implied valuation and a promise to manufacture homes in the same way we manufacture cars.

Shares rose 20% out of the gate on July 20 before retracting to the $8 range the following afternoon. However, the real story behind the IPO lies buried in the capitalization table and the macroeconomic wreckage currently surrounding legacy residential builders.

Get BOXABL alerts:

Legacy Builders Face Cracking FoundationsTo understand the hefty premium the market is assigning to modular construction, you have to look at the pain traditional builders are enduring. Traditional home construction is currently navigating a paralyzing cocktail of high mortgage rates and acute labor shortages.

D.R. Horton NYSE: DHI just reported recent earnings, and the underlying data reveal severe cracks in the traditional site-built model. Even with an earnings beat of $3.20 per share, management explicitly lowered full-year sales guidance. They cited severe affordability challenges and cautious consumer sentiment. Pretax homebuilding margins narrowed to 12.3%, and cancellation rates spiked to an alarming 20%. D.R. Horton is now sitting on a bloated inventory of 38,000 homes, with 23,300 sitting completely unsold.

Lennar NYSE: LEN is also feeling this pain. The company recently posted a 31.1% year-over-year earnings decline. To move standing inventory, Lennar has been forced to offer broad price reductions, driving average sale prices down to the $375,000 to $380,000 range. The traditional lumber-yard-and-contractor model is hitting a terminal affordability ceiling. Labor costs are sticky, material costs remain elevated, and the end consumer is tapped out by current capital costs.

Assembly Lines Replace Traditional Lumber YardsBoxabl fundamentally bypasses the localized labor bottlenecks that are currently crushing legacy players. By producing standardized modular units, most notably the $60,000, 361-square-foot Casita and the newly introduced 120-square-foot Baby Box, inside a North Las Vegas factory, Boxabl shifts residential real estate from a decentralized, weather-dependent service to a highly centralized manufacturing process.

The company's patented folding technology allows room-sized building modules to fit within standard highway dimensions for transport and then be unfolded on-site. The process fundamentally rewrites the cost structure of residential real estate, removing the unpredictability of site labor.

Boxabl recently delivered 51 units, generating trailing revenue of $3.4 million—a staggering 1,000% year-over-year revenue expansion. However, investors analyzing the company should reconcile that hyper-growth with the $3.5 billion enterprise valuation. The market is pricing in flawless manufacturing execution and immediate global scaling. The current valuation is not trading on present cash flows. Instead, investors are bidding up the stock solely on the impending disruption to a multi-trillion-dollar housing market.

Cornering the Market: A Micro Float Powder KegThe fundamentals of the business provide the long-term thesis, but the mechanics of the float dictate the immediate price action. Heavy pre-merger SPAC redemptions near the $10.40 mark restricted the actively tradeable public float for Boxabl to a microscopic 1.38 million shares.

Here is where the setup gets incredibly volatile. Current short interest hovers near 1.2 million shares. Investors are looking at a short-to-float ratio that creates a classic, hyper-volatile squeeze setup. When a float is this constrained, any surge in buying volume forces short sellers to aggressively cover their positions by buying back shares. This forced buying creates a feedback loop that drives prices up exponentially.

Adding fuel to this fire is the current lack of a derivatives market. Options chains are currently unavailable for Boxabl. This eliminates institutional delta hedging and forces all retail speculation into pure equity accumulation.

When buyers can only accumulate common shares in a heavily shorted, low-float environment, the upside volatility becomes mathematically amplified. Retail demand is already anchored by aggressive brand visibility, most notably Elon Musk's previous use of a Casita unit near SpaceX NASDAQ: SPCX facilities in Texas. That halo effect has driven an extensive, verified customer waitlist, validating the total addressable market and adding immense pressure to the short sellers currently trapped in the trade.

Crowdfunded Equity Creates Structural RisksWhile the upside potential is robust, navigating a recent SPAC merger requires calculated risk management. Boxabl brings a highly unusual capitalization table to the public markets. Prior to the IPO, Boxabl raised over $230 million from more than 50,000 individual retail investors via Regulation A+, Regulation D, and Regulation CF crowdfunding.

Existing Boxabl stakeholders executed a 100% equity roll-over into the newly combined entity. While this neutralizes the risk of an immediate insider exit, it guarantees a heavy capitalization overhang. When those initial lock-up periods eventually expire and early crowdfunding backers seek liquidity, the public market will have to absorb significant downward pressure. A highly constrained float of 1.38 million shares can easily be overwhelmed when previously locked shares flood the bid.

Laying the Final Bricks for a Hedged PortfolioThe transition from site-built homes to factory-manufactured housing is a required evolution to solve a systemic affordability crisis. Capital markets are finally ready to fund the industrialization of housing.

Investors looking to capitalize on this shift might consider a paired, strategic approach. Taking a cautious, speculative long position in a modular innovator like Boxabl offers exposure to the immediate short-squeeze mechanics and the long-term structural disruption of the housing market. Position sizing remains critical due to the imminent lock-up expirations and the premium price-to-sales multiple.

To balance that risk, cautious investors might pair that upside exposure with a hedged or short approach to legacy homebuilders. Companies dependent on traditional zoning and localized labor are slowly bleeding margins as they try to sell expensive inventory to a consumer base paralyzed by interest rates. Assembly lines revolutionized the automotive industry a century ago, and the same financial mechanics are coming for residential real estate.

SK Hynix Pares 4% Drop After Denying Talks to Buy Intel’s Ohio Fab as Market Shrugs Off Iran Jitters

Shares of SK Hynix (NASDAQ:SKHY) are trading lower this Wednesday morning, with SK Hynix stock down 2% to $167.72 after an early dip of 4%. The Korean memory giant pared much of that loss after issuing a formal denial of a Korea JoongAng Daily report claiming it was in talks to acquire Intel‘s (NASDAQ:INTC | INTC Price Prediction) under-construction Ohio semiconductor fab campus.

The move arrives on a session where the broader NASDAQ 100 clawed back most of an early 0.5% drop tied to Middle East tensions, leaving the tape nearly flat on the session.

Denial Pulls the Stock Back After Ohio Fab Report In a July 22 Korea Exchange regulatory filing, SK Hynix stated it “continuously reviews various business investment and acquisition opportunities” but “has not pursued or decided to acquire Intel’s Ohio site and fab.” The rumor briefly lifted SK Hynix shares, and the denial pulled them back.

Intel separately reaffirmed its commitment to the Ohio project, with Intel stock nearly unchanged at $105.48 as the counterparty in the denied rumor. Moor Insights & Strategy’s Patrick Moorhead called the reported talks “highly unlikely,” reinforcing that the story never had strong industry backing.

The Ohio campus was announced in January 2022 with an initial $28 billion price tag, scaling to as much as $100 billion long term across nearly 1,000 acres and up to eight fabs. The timeline has since slipped to 2030 or 2031, and Washington has been pushing Samsung and SK Hynix toward U.S. memory manufacturing alongside domestic leader Micron Technology (NASDAQ:MU).

Intel also has its own foundry story building. Its first publicly named foundry customer under CEO Lip-Bu Tan is Fortinet (NASDAQ:FTNT), whose SP6 security processor is set to be built on the Intel 4 process node. That backdrop makes any suggestion Intel would offload the Ohio site to a foreign rival a hard sell.

Memory Peers Hold Up as Market Shrugs Off Iran Jitters The idiosyncratic read is supported by peer action. Micron Technology stock is flat at $971.77, while Western Digital (NASDAQ:WDC) shares are up 2% to $559.27. If memory as a category were selling off, both would be lower with SK Hynix.

The same investor newsletter that told subscribers to buy Amazon in 2002, Netflix in 2004, and Nvidia in 2005 still publishes two new stock picks every month. Over 23 years, Motley Fool's Stock Advisor has more than quadrupled the S&P 500. New members get this month's picks, the Top 10 Rankings, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Click here to unlock their next top stocks while new members are still being accepted.

The Roundhill Memory ETF is down 1% to $58.04, reflecting SK Hynix’s weight in the fund rather than a broad memory retreat. The ETF is a narrow, single-theme vehicle, so investors using it as a diversified way to play the memory theme may want to size their positions with concentration and volatility risk in mind.

The macro backdrop featured President Trump threatening to destroy an Iranian bridge or power plant each time Iran fires on a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, marking an 11th straight night of U.S. strikes. That sent WTI crude oil up 3% to around $87 a barrel and Brent near $94, its highest since June 10. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the U.S. “would love” a diplomatic settlement.

The Iran story has little or nothing to do with SK Hynix’s specific move, but the market’s ability to shake it off explains why chip names broadly, including NVIDIA, are steadier than they looked earlier. SK Hynix remains a leading high-bandwidth memory (HBM) supplier to NVIDIA’s AI accelerators, and that structural tailwind is unchanged by today’s rumor cycle.

Options positioning tells a mixed story. SK Hynix’s full-chain put/call ratio sits at 1.6, with the July 31 expiration at 2.11 pointing to some near-term hedging, while longer-dated 2027 strikes skew heavily toward calls.

What to Watch The next two catalysts are close together. Intel reports its Q2 2026 results on Thursday, which can either validate or complicate the foundry narrative the Ohio story touched. SK Hynix reports on July 29, and Wall Street can watch for HBM shipment commentary and updated capital allocation guidance.

SK Hynix listed its ADRs on the NASDAQ exchange on June 10, raising more than $26 billion, so the U.S.-tape reaction to headlines like this one now matters more directly to shareholders. Traders may want to watch for whether SK Hynix stock stabilizes above the $165 area later Wednesday, and how the DRAM ETF trades if memory peers stay firm through the afternoon.

If You'd Bought Amazon When the Motley Fool Said To…In September 2002, Stock Advisor told subscribers to buy Amazon. In December 2004, Netflix. In April 2005, Nvidia. What this transaction means for investorsThe July 13 and July 14 sale of Best Buy stock by company founder and Chairman Emeritus Richard Schulze came at a time when shares were soaring. The stock eventually hit a 52-week high of $87.35 on July 16.

Even so, Schulze’s sale was a non-discretionary transaction executed as part of a pre-established Rule 10b5-1 plan. Such plans allow insiders to sell shares at predetermined times to avoid concerns of trading on non-public information.

Moreover, Schulze retained over 11 million shares post-disposition, distributed across a revocable trust, a 401(k) plan, an IRA, a limited partnership, a spousal grantor retained annuity trust (GRAT), his spouse, and a spouse irrevocable trust. His substantial equity stake in the company he founded suggests Schulze remains bullish on the stock.

Best Buy shares are up thanks to solid business performance. The company reported $8.9 billion in revenue for its fiscal first quarter ended May 2, up from $8.8 billion in the prior year. In addition, its fiscal Q1 diluted earnings per share skyrocketed to $1.31 compared to $0.95 in the previous year.

NetApp's Enterprise AI Bet: Can DataPelago Buyout Accelerate Growth?
NTAP NetApp
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways NetApp acquired DataPelago to add GPU-accelerated data processing directly to the storage layer.NTAP says Nucleus enables zero-copy data activation by processing data where it already resides.NetApp says the technology can deliver faster processing and lower infrastructure costs for AI workloads. AI is transforming enterprise IT at an unprecedented pace. To capitalize on this booming trend, NetApp, Inc. (NTAP - Free Report) recently acquired DataPelago, a startup specializing in AI data infrastructure.  The deal expands NetApp's intelligent data infrastructure portfolio by bringing GPU-accelerated data processing directly to the storage layer, allowing organizations to process data where it resides instead of copying it to separate AI infrastructure. The acquisition is likely to strengthen NetApp's competitive position in the rapidly growing AI infrastructure market. NetApp has already enhanced its ecosystem through partnerships with Cisco, Google Cloud, Red Hat and SK Telecom. Adding DataPelago extends that strategy.

At the core of the acquisition is Nucleus, DataPelago's universal data processing engine. Instead of transferring massive datasets into separate GPU clusters, Nucleus performs accelerated computing directly where enterprise data already resides. Its architecture uses heterogeneous computing by intelligently leveraging both CPUs and GPUs, enabling workloads to run within the storage environment itself. This approach creates what NetApp calls "zero-copy activation" of enterprise data. Rather than copying data multiple times across different AI systems, organizations can prepare datasets, govern sensitive information, execute transformations and feed AI models without creating additional copies.

According to NetApp, DataPelago's technology provides significant efficiency gains. Potential benefits include up to 10x faster processing compared to traditional architectures, infrastructure cost reductions of up to 80%, better GPU utilization, lower networking overhead and less storage duplication. For enterprises investing heavily in costly GPU infrastructure, these improvements could significantly boost return on investment.

However, competition remains intense. Major players such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE - Free Report) , Teradata Corporation (TDC - Free Report) and cloud providers are all investing heavily in AI infrastructure.

Competitive Pressure Clouding NTAP’s Growth RunAcquisitions, such as Stemma, enhance Teradata's capabilities in data search and exploration, providing added value to its customers. Teradata is building on this foundation as it expands the Enterprise Vector Store to unify structured and unstructured data within a single governed platform, capable of supporting large vector volumes and high concurrent query demand from AI agents. Recent enhancements include multimodal support spanning text, images and audio, as well as additional agentic features through ecosystem integrations. The company is also developing an agentic framework, including an MCP Server, to enable querying, analysis and management of data with full context.

HPE has pursued buyouts to strengthen higher-margin hybrid IT models that blend on-premises infrastructure with cloud-like consumption. Hewlett Packard completed the acquisition of Juniper Networks in July 2025 to fortify its Networking business. In 2024, it acquired Morpheus Data, which has enhanced its GreenLake capabilities. In 2023, HPE acquired four businesses — OpsRamp, Axis Security, Athonet and Pachyderm. In 2021, it acquired Ampool, Zerto, Determined AI and CloudPhysics. The deal has expanded its capabilities and product portfolios in the fast-growing cloud space, including software-defined networks and converged and hyper-converged infrastructure. Its focus on a hybrid IT model will drive growth in the long run.

NTAP Price Performance, Valuation & EstimatesShares of NetApp have gained 5% in the past month against the Computer-Storage Devices industry’s decline of 19.1%.

Carvana (CVNA - Free Report) is expected to deliver a year-over-year increase in earnings on higher revenues when it reports results for the quarter ended June 2026. This widely-known consensus outlook gives a good sense of the company's earnings picture, but how the actual results compare to these estimates is a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price.

The stock might move higher if these key numbers top expectations in the upcoming earnings report, which is expected to be released on July 29. On the other hand, if they miss, the stock may move lower.

While the sustainability of the immediate price change and future earnings expectations will mostly depend on management's discussion of business conditions on the earnings call, it's worth handicapping the probability of a positive EPS surprise.

Zacks Consensus EstimateThis company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $0.42 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of +61.5%.

Revenues are expected to be $6.96 billion, up 43.8% from the year-ago quarter.

Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 0.07% higher over the last 30 days to the current level. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period.

Investors should keep in mind that the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts may not always get reflected in the aggregate change.

How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for Carvana? For Carvana, the Most Accurate Estimate is lower than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bearish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of -0.17%.

On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #3.

So, this combination makes it difficult to conclusively predict that Carvana will beat the consensus EPS estimate.

Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue? While calculating estimates for a company's future earnings, analysts often consider to what extent it has been able to match past consensus estimates. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.

For the last reported quarter, it was expected that Carvana would post earnings of $0.28 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.34, delivering a surprise of +21.43%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates three times.

Carvana doesn't appear a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.

3 Big Reasons to Believe in Rivian Stock Long-Term
RIVN Rivian Automotive
FMP Stock News
Original source text
About five years ago, there was a mini gold rush in the electric vehicle (EV) industry. It was due to growing infrastructure support and a flood of public and private funding from investors hoping to get their hands on what might be the next Tesla.

This gold rush ended poorly for many involved: from the more well-known Fisker Automotive, which was supposed to rival Tesla, to the lesser-known companies such as Canoo and Lordstown Motors. Even more capable companies, such as Lucid Group (LCID -1.50%), will almost certainly face more funding questions and capital raises within 12 to 18 months.

Rivian Automotive (RIVN -1.80%), however, appears to be gaining real traction; here are three reasons to believe in it long-term.

Shareholder dilution While Lucid and Rivian are similar in many ways, one factor that has separated the two is shareholder dilution. Unlike Lucid, Rivian has been able to protect its shareholders from more severe shareholder dilution due to capital discipline and its strategic joint ventures, such as with Volkswagen.

It also helps to have a little luck on your side. Rivian executed one of the largest initial public offerings in U.S. history by raising roughly $13.7 billion in gross proceeds, which gave the young EV maker a long capital runway. In contrast, Lucid entered the public markets through a SPAC merger that had a lighter cash balance to help pave the way forward.

Another example of how the two differ is that Lucid has relied heavily on Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), which now owns a controlling stake in the company. While Lucid has repeatedly issued new equity that dilutes existing shareholders, Rivian largely took a different route by leveraging its internal software and electrical stack to ink a $5.8 billion deal with Volkswagen that has helped generate non-dilutive licensing and convertible loans.

RIVN Shares Outstanding (Quarterly) data by YCharts

You can see in the graph above that Lucid was expanding its shares outstanding much more, until last year when the EV maker executed a 1-for-10 reverse stock split, which reduced its share count to proportionately increase its share price, enabling it to remain listed on the Nasdaq. That's not a great situation to be in. Make no mistake, when considering either of these EV stocks long-term, Rivian is certainly more enticing, even considering only its lesser shareholder dilution.

R2 is a crucial pivot To say that Rivian's R2 is a crucial pivot point for the business would be an understatement. The R2 marks Rivian's transition from luxury-niche EVs to mass-market production and scale. The young EV maker might not even get enough credit for the efforts it has taken to improve unit economics, which have helped power the company to its first full-year gross profit.

Rivian is taking what it's learned from that process and applying it to the R2. And it's expecting to reduce the manufacturing cost per vehicle by 50% compared to even previous improvements on the R1. Rivian's goal was to aim for nearly $7,500 in gross profit per vehicle; here are a couple of unique examples of how it can drive toward that target:

Battery and drive units: The new "Maximus" drive unit contains 41% to 43% fewer parts than the previous Enduro system. Electronics and harnessing: Rivian cut expensive high-voltage cabling down by a significant 70% and simplified its computing architecture by removing 2.3 miles of wiring, cutting down connectors by 60%, and reducing weight by 40 lbs. Rivian even adjusted the R2 to a unibody structure, which reduced costs by 44% and weight by 37% compared to the R1 body-on-frame style.

Combine those examples, and many more, with growing scale as the lower price tag enables a mainstream consumer to purchase the R2, and it should have investors feeling optimistic that Rivian can one day be a self-funding and profitable company. Though it still has a long way to go.

High-margin potential Circling back to Rivian's lucrative joint venture with Volkswagen, it's important for investors to understand the potential of this business. Typically, legacy global automakers like Volkswagen buy parts from suppliers and write their own coding, but the deal with Rivian implies that Volkswagen has admitted its deficiencies in doing so and essentially gave up on its in-house software division.

Volkswagen isn't just buying Rivian motors or interior infotainment screens, either; Rivian is essentially selling its German joint venture partner its vehicle nervous system, operating system, and zonal architecture. This has given Rivian the potential to transform from a pure hardware manufacturer into a business that includes high-margin software and intellectual property licenses.

Thanks in large part to Volkswagen's partnership, Rivian's software segment operates at roughly 37% gross margin, which has become a crucial way to offset early-stage scaling and expenses.

What it all means Rivian still has a long road ahead to reward long-term shareholders, but these three reasons should give investors the belief that it can achieve that vision. Rivian has separated itself from rivals such as Lucid with capital discipline and the avoidance of severe shareholder dilution, tapped into high-margin software sales and cost-sharing with partnerships, and made significant progress on improving R2 unit economics ahead of the scale it hopes to soon build.

Rivian's road will still be tough, but it certainly has some unique attributes that separate it from many rivals.

Robinhood Markets, Inc. (HOOD) Expected to Beat Earnings Estimates: What to Know Ahead of Q2 Release
HOOD Robinhood
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Wall Street expects a year-over-year decline in earnings on higher revenues when Robinhood Markets, Inc. (HOOD - Free Report) reports results for the quarter ended June 2026. While this widely-known consensus outlook is important in gauging the company's earnings picture, a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price is how the actual results compare to these estimates.

Zacks Consensus EstimateThis company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $0.39 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of -7.1%.

Revenues are expected to be $1.22 billion, up 23.6% from the year-ago quarter.

Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 5.9% higher over the last 30 days to the current level. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period.

Investors should keep in mind that the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts may not always get reflected in the aggregate change.

Earnings WhisperEstimate revisions ahead of a company's earnings release offer clues to the business conditions for the period whose results are coming out. This insight is at the core of our proprietary surprise prediction model -- the Zacks Earnings ESP (Expected Surprise Prediction).

How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for Robinhood Markets? For Robinhood Markets, the Most Accurate Estimate is higher than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bullish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +2.98%.

On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #3.

So, this combination indicates that Robinhood Markets will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate.

Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue? While calculating estimates for a company's future earnings, analysts often consider to what extent it has been able to match past consensus estimates. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.

For the last reported quarter, it was expected that Robinhood Markets would post earnings of $0.4 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.38, delivering a surprise of -5.00%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates three times.

Wall Street Analysts Think Trimble (TRMB) Could Surge 53.96%: Read This Before Placing a Bet
TRMB Trimble
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Trimble Navigation (TRMB - Free Report) closed the last trading session at $51.85, gaining 5.4% over the past four weeks, but there could be plenty of upside left in the stock if short-term price targets set by Wall Street analysts are any guide. The mean price target of $79.83 indicates a 54% upside potential.

The mean estimate comprises 12 short-term price targets with a standard deviation of $13.18. While the lowest estimate of $55.00 indicates a 6.1% increase from the current price level, the most optimistic analyst expects the stock to surge 90.9% to reach $99.00. It's very important to note the standard deviation here, as it helps understand the variability of the estimates. The smaller the standard deviation, the greater the agreement among analysts.

While the consensus price target is a much-coveted metric for investors, solely banking on this metric to make an investment decision may not be wise at all. That's because the ability and unbiasedness of analysts in setting price targets have long been questionable.

But, for TRMB, an impressive average price target is not the only indicator of a potential upside. Strong agreement among analysts about the company's ability to report better earnings than they predicted earlier strengthens this view. While a positive trend in earnings estimate revisions doesn't gauge how much a stock could gain, it has proven to be powerful in predicting an upside.

Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise

Here's What You May Not Know About Analysts' Price TargetsAccording to researchers at several universities across the globe, a price target is one of many pieces of information about a stock that misleads investors far more often than it guides. In fact, empirical research shows that price targets set by several analysts, irrespective of the extent of agreement, rarely indicate where the price of a stock could actually be heading.

While Wall Street analysts have deep knowledge of a company's fundamentals and the sensitivity of its business to economic and industry issues, many of them tend to set overly optimistic price targets. Are you wondering why?

They usually do that to drum up interest in shares of companies that their firms either have existing business relationships with or are looking to be associated with. In other words, business incentives of firms covering a stock often result in inflated price targets set by analysts.

However, a tight clustering of price targets, which is represented by a low standard deviation, indicates that analysts have a high degree of agreement about the direction and magnitude of a stock's price movement. While that doesn't necessarily mean the stock will hit the average price target, it could be a good starting point for further research aimed at identifying the potential fundamental driving forces.

That said, while investors should not entirely ignore price targets, making an investment decision solely based on them could lead to disappointing ROI. So, price targets should always be treated with a high degree of skepticism.

Why TRMB Could Witness a Solid UpsideAnalysts' growing optimism over the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by strong agreement among them in revising EPS estimates higher, could be a legitimate reason to expect an upside in the stock. That's because empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.

Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has increased 0.3%, as one estimate has moved higher compared to no negative revision.

Moreover, TRMB currently has a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy), which means it is in the top 20% of more than 4,000 stocks that we rank based on four factors related to earnings estimates. Given an impressive externally-audited track record, this is a more conclusive indication of the stock's potential upside in the near term. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>> .

Therefore, while the consensus price target may not be a reliable indicator of how much TRMB could gain, the direction of price movement it implies does appear to be a good guide.

MNDY stock is down 50% this year: is it a bargain now?
MNDY Monday.com
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Monday.com stock has crashed this year, mirroring the performance of other software companies. It has dropped by 51% this year and 44% in the last six months. This retreat continued today, July 22, when it announced that it would lay off 20% of its employees as it embraced AI in its operations.

Monday is a top software company used by thousands of people each day. It is used by over 60% of all companies in the Fortune 500, including popular names like Coca-Cola, Vistra, Universal Music Group, and Lionsgate.

It offers solutions in the CRM, IT support, and tools for developers using a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. Most recently, it has launched a vibe coding solution that enables developers to build applications.

MNDY stock price has crashed this year amid concerns that software companies will be replaced with artificial intelligence (AI) tools. This explains why other popular SaaS companies like Adobe, Figma, ServiceNow, and Workday have plunged this year.

These fears grew this month after IBM published its financial results, which showed that customers were prioritizing hardware purchases over software. This trend continued today after reports emerged that it was laying off 20% of its workers.

Layoffs can be a sign that the management expects the company to deteriorate. In some cases, however, they can be a sign that the management has found a way to boost its profitability.

On the positive side, the most recent results showed that the company’s business was doing well. Its revenue jumped by 24% to $351 million as its customers paying over $50k a year rose by 32%. Those paying $100k a year rose to 1,844 from 1,328 in the same period last year.

The management expects that its transition to a consumption-based pricing model will help its revenue continue to grow. It introduced the new seats-plus-credits pricing structure for new customers. Its goal is to transition all existing customers to this system in the future.

Monday’s profits also continued growing, with its operating income hitting $49 million in the quarter. Analysts expect that its double digit growth will continue.

The average estimate is that its revenue rose by 18.9% in the second quarter to $355 million. They expect that its third quarter will rise by 17% to $370 million, while the annual figure will jump by 19% to $1.47 billion.

Monday, like other software companies, has also become highly undervalued, with its forward price-to-earnings ratio being 16. The S&P 500 Index has a multiple of 20. As such, there is a likelihood that the stock will bounce back as investors buy the dip.

Monday stock chart | Source: TradingView

The weekly chart shows that the MNDY stock price has retreated sharply this year. After peaking at $342 in February last year, it plunged to a low of $58 in April.

A closer look shows that the stock has always gapped lower after earnings. It has now landed to a crucial support level, which coincides with the lowest level in 2022.

On the positive side, the stock has formed an island reversal pattern, a sign that it may bounce back in the near term. If this happens, the next key level to watch will be at $100. A drop below the year-to-date low of $58 will point to more downside.

Monday.com cuts hundreds of jobs as it restructures around AI strategy
MNDY Monday.com
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Monday.com (NASDAQ:MNDY) is cutting approximately 20% of its global workforce as the Israeli workplace software company restructures its operations around a shift toward AI-enabled collaboration between employees and autonomous agents.

The company will eliminate around 620 roles worldwide, according to a letter sent to employees by co-founders Roy Mann and Eran Zinman, who described the decision as the “most painful” since the company’s founding.

The company said some existing roles will change while new positions will be created as it focuses on expanding AI-related products and increasing customer support. The restructuring will include changes to sales and customer engagement operations, including deeper implementation support and greater on-site customer presence.

Monday.com said it expects to incur between $45 million and $55 million in net restructuring charges, primarily related to severance costs and office space reductions. The company plans to reinvest savings from the restructuring into AI engineering and product development.

Monday.com said the layoffs are not intended as a cost-cutting initiative or a direct replacement of employees with artificial intelligence, but instead reflect a broader organizational shift as the software industry adapts to changing customer expectations and AI-driven workflows.

“We entered a new era where AI is transforming the role of software, creating the greatest opportunity our industry has ever seen,” Mann and Zinman wrote in the letter.

“We have a new market to capture. Without a fundamental change in how we operate, we will not be able to compete and win that market.”

The restructuring comes as Monday.com moves from its traditional role as a platform for managing work toward what it describes as an AI-powered workspace where employees and AI agents work together to complete tasks.

“Over the past nine months, we have shifted our core vision moving from managing work to doing the work for our customers, with people and AI agents working together in one workspace,” the founders wrote.

The company said the transition requires changes beyond product development, including a new organizational structure designed around smaller, more autonomous teams and fewer management layers.

“It became clear that changing our strategy and product is not enough,” the founders said in the letter. “The organization we built for our previous chapter is not the organization that fits the new AI era.”

Around 350 of the affected positions are expected to be at Monday.com’s headquarters in Tel Aviv, with the remaining reductions spread across its global offices.

Alongside the restructuring announcement, Monday.com raised its full-year 2026 non-GAAP operating margin outlook to 15% from a previous forecast of 13%, while maintaining its revenue growth target of 19% to 20%.

Shares of Monday.com were little changed at $73 on Wednesday.

Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG) Expected to Beat Earnings Estimates: What to Know Ahead of Q2 Release
CMG Chipotle Mexican Grill
FMP Stock News
Original source text
The market expects Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG - Free Report) to deliver a year-over-year decline in earnings on higher revenues when it reports results for the quarter ended June 2026. This widely-known consensus outlook is important in assessing the company's earnings picture, but a powerful factor that might influence its near-term stock price is how the actual results compare to these estimates.

Zacks Consensus EstimateThis Mexican food chain is expected to post quarterly earnings of $0.32 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of -3%.

Revenues are expected to be $3.32 billion, up 8.4% from the year-ago quarter.

Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 0.34% higher over the last 30 days to the current level.

How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for Chipotle? For Chipotle, the Most Accurate Estimate is higher than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bullish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +0.84%.

On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #3.

So, this combination indicates that Chipotle will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate.

Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue?Analysts often consider to what extent a company has been able to match consensus estimates in the past while calculating their estimates for its future earnings. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.

For the last reported quarter, it was expected that Chipotle would post earnings of $0.24 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.24, delivering no surprise.

Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates three times.

Helio Moves to Strengthen Its Nasdaq Path with Reverse Stock Split, Clearing the Way for the Uplist
NDAQ Nasdaq
FMP Stock News
Original source text
BERKELEY, CA / ACCESS Newswire / July 22, 2026 / Helio Corporation (OTCID:HLEO) ("Helio" or the "Company"), a developer of advanced Space-Based Solar Power and engineering technologies pioneering commercial lunar hardware, today announced that its previously approved reverse stock split (the "Reverse Split") of the Company's issued and outstanding common stock has become effective and is expected to begin trading on a split-adjusted basis at the open of trading on July 22, 2026. The reverse split is a strategic step to support the Company's planned application to list its common stock on the Nasdaq Capital Market.

The 1-for-5 reverse stock split became legally effective on July 20, 2026, pursuant to the Company's Articles of Amendment filed with the Florida Department of State on July 17, 2026, and will become effective in the market at the open of trading on July 22, 2026. Beginning at market open on July 22, 2026, every five shares of the Company's common stock will automatically combine into one share, with no action required by shareholders. Except for the treatment of fractional shares, the reverse split will not affect any shareholder's proportional ownership interest in the Company. In connection with the reverse split, the Company's common stock will trade under a new CUSIP number (860914209). Additional information regarding the reverse split is available in the Company's filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Following the Reverse Split, the Company expects to satisfy Nasdaq's post-split trading requirements in short order, subject to market conditions, regulatory. Company management believes a Nasdaq listing has the potential to expand institutional visibility, improve trading liquidity, broaden analyst coverage, and provide greater access to long-term growth capital as the Company continues executing its commercial and aerospace strategy.

Over the past year, Helio has made substantial progress executing its long-term strategy. Over the past year Helio has:

Expanded to five lunar missions.

Advanced residential and industrial SBSP demonstrations.

Reduced debt by over two-thirds.

Expanded patent filings.

Increased commercial engagement.

Built a $12 million contract pipeline

"Our focus has always been on building a stronger company," said Ed Cabrera, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Helio Corporation. "Over the last year we've made measurable progress across our commercial, technical and financial objectives. We believe pursuing a Nasdaq listing is the natural next step in that journey, allowing us to introduce Helio to a broader universe of long-term investors while continuing to execute our strategy."

Cabrera continued, "the reverse split does not change the underlying business, our customer relationships, our contract opportunities, our technology portfolio, or our long-term vision. Management believes shareholder value will continue to be driven by execution, innovation, and continued progress toward becoming a leading participant in the future space based solar power industry."

About Helio Corporation

Helio is pioneering a new class of energy infrastructure-space-based power systems aka "Power plants in space" that captures solar energy beyond Earth's atmosphere and beams it safely and efficiently to the surface. Our vision is to establish orbital energy platforms as a foundational layer of the global power grid, delivering uninterrupted, carbon-free electricity at scale and reshaping how nations power cities, industries, and critical systems. Founded in 2018 as the ‘problem solvers to the space industry,' Helio designs and delivers world-class space mechanisms, advanced antenna systems, and space design solutions; supporting NASA, private companies, universities, and global space agencies across missions ranging from small-scale programs to flagship space initiatives. We are proud to be a trusted partner to over a dozen space agencies, organizations, and companies across the globe. Our products can be found operating from the Sun to Jupiter. From NASA and European Space Agency to emerging private aerospace firms and academic institutions, we collaborate with some of the most innovative and forward-thinking players in the space industry. Helio Corporation is focused on developing and commercializing technologies for aerospace, space systems, and related advanced engineering applications. Through its operating subsidiaries, Helio seeks to build a portfolio of technologies and intellectual property directed to future space infrastructure and deployable systems.
