Top Stock for AI's Next Megatrend: Infineon | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Top Stock for AI’s Next Megatrend: Infineon The development of AI data centers has pushed the limits of the industry in several categories. For instance, capex keeps increasing, as infrastructure expands. Energy might be one of the sectors with the fastest growth. Normally it grows at a steady pace, nonetheless to keep up with the enormous energy needs, the sector is expected to double by 2030. In fact, experts estimate that the demand will reach 950 TWh. Under conservative estimates that is around 120 GW of additional electricity capacity. Energy demand is expected to grow progressively. Companies that provide energy efficient solutions for the buildout are likely to benefit from the expected growth. Although generation is a big part of the energy value chain; however, distribution, transformation, and efficient power conversion are where companies such as Infineon Technologies ($IFNNY) play a critical role. Infineon Infineon is a German semiconductor company founded in 1999 as a spinoff from Siemens. The company is the global leader in power semiconductors and has a market share of around 17%, above companies such as OnSemi (ON) and STMicro (STM). Its products are used across a wide range of applications, the most relevant being the automotive sector. Infineon is a leader across major power semiconductor technologies, including silicon (Si), silicon carbide (SiC), and gallium nitride (GaN) power devices. The automotive EV sector has faced significant challenges in recent years, due to the slowdown in EV demand and broader weakness in the automotive market. The automotive segment represents 50% of the company’s revenue, while the energy sector accounts for 29%. In fact, data center-related revenue accounts for approximately 8% of total revenue. Infineon has a broad product portfolio, which includes several discrete power MOSFET families such as IGBTs, MOSFETs, SiC and GaN power transistors. Infineon’s products are vertically integrated for power solutions, not limited to transistor-level solutions. The company also provides microcontrollers used to manage these power solutions, embedded security solutions and low-level software for its products. The company is a tier 2 provider to companies across the automotive, industrial and energy sectors. Essentially, Infineon supplies the semiconductors for the development of several products. For instance, in the automotive space, the company has components for EV inverter solutions. Infineon’s expertise in automotive has expanded to the energy sector. To illustrate, in the energy sector its applications extend across several categories such as Solid State Transformers (SST), Power Regulators, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS-ESS), Solid State Circuit Breaker (SSCB), battery management systems (BMS) and several other categories in server rack power distribution technologies. In fact, companies such as Delta Electronics and SolarEdge have collaborated closely with Infineon to codevelop power solutions for data centers. The company is vertically integrated, holds research and development centers and semiconductor fabs. Moreover, the deep integration between research and manufacturing enables the company to design products that are at least 15% more efficient than competitors, not only because of design and fabrication techniques, but also due to its advanced packaging technologies. In addition, the company claims to have the largest and most efficient SiC power semiconductor fab in the world. Power electronics and the cumulative effect on efficiency Power generation is arguably the most discussed topic in the energy sector. Mostly the discussion centers around what is the most efficient way of producing energy. In fact, efficiency starts to have a snowball effect as the required energy use increases. For instance, a 40%-efficient energy source, such as combustion engine based electricity generation, with a required output of 100 MW for a data center, would require an installed capacity of 250 MW just to balance the loss in efficiency. Power losses increase the need for thermal dissipation because most of the lost 150 MW is ultimately released as heat. Cooling systems required to dissipate this heat also consume additional electricity. Data centers and the new dc voltage standard In the last generation of Nvidia GPUs, NVIDIA’s Rubin architecture, 800 volts DC is the norm, and the whole so-called AI factory ecosystem will be based on such power needs. NVIDIA adopted the standard to reduce power losses in data centers. By moving from the previous 48 V DC architecture to 800 V DC, the required current can be reduced by a factor of 16. This change can lower resistive losses by nearly 280 times. Power efficiency is becoming increasingly crucial as rack-level energy consumption continues to grow. A CPU based server rack can be between 20 and 80 kW. Vera Rubin-based GPU servers can reach up to 600 kW per rack. In this kind of rack, each percentage point of efficiency represents roughly 6 kW. Energy losses directly translate to higher operating costs. The voltage transformations and power electronics Power electronics refers to electronic systems used for the control and conversion of electric power. Today, power electronics use active components such as SiC MOSFET or GaN MOSFET transistors. Compared to traditional approaches with passive electronic components, power electronics tend to be more efficient and have reduced weight. Power electronics are used to convert between AC and DC, referred to as rectifiers, inverters, or converters. As power electronics offer control and higher efficiency in the electric power conversion, several traditional products such as transformers are being replaced by solid state transformers. architectures based on power electronics. Efficiency is critical Moreover, power generation is only one part of the puzzle. To meet growing demand, companies must also distribute, transform, and deliver electricity into server racks. Each step must be power efficient, as the losses cascade. Even at 99% of efficiency, 10 sequential conversion stages end up with an overall efficiency of 90.4%. At envisioned GW-scale data centers, this translates to 100 MW losses per GW. In fact, the current overall efficiency of a data center is 85%, while with Infineon solutions it could potentially increase toward 90%. Infineon’s role in the power distribution future Infineon envisions deploying its products across the entire AI power delivery chain. The company targets applications from 800 V rack-level distribution to point-of-load regulation at the silicon level. Its solutions aim to enable efficient multi-stage power conversion throughout the system. Product families like Infineon’s Silicon carbide CoolSiC™ MOSFETs claim efficiencies between 97-99.5%, while its GaN-based CoolGaN™ can reach similar efficiencies. Both technologies are essential as discrete components for several power solutions. Broad category of solutions by Infineon in the AI data center era Infineon envisions a future in which the server rack reaches up to 1 MW. This will require several power solutions, including voltage step-down, cooling solutions, battery storage solutions, super capacitor solutions, and voltage bus distribution. Evolution of the server rack in the AI era Micro grids Finally, Infineon envisions its products playing a key role in upcoming microgrid power architectures. Microgrids are becoming an important enabler for integrating multiple energy sources, including renewables, nuclear, and traditional combustion-based generation. These systems could efficiently distribute power across the future AI server racks while providing a scalable and future-proof solution for the evolving data center energy demands. Such demands may include different voltage levels, active power quality management, bidirectional power flow, and highly efficient multi-stage power conversion. Microgrid architecture in the AI data center era Earnings and current valuation of the company In the last fiscal year, Infineon reported revenue of €14.6B, representing a 2% YoY decline. Approximately 50% of total revenue came from the automotive segment, while around 16% was related to data centers and power infrastructure applications. Notably, power infrastructure revenue increased from 6% to 8% of total company revenue during the last quarter. Management expects significant long-term growth opportunities across energy generation, storage, and power conversion infrastructure. In particular, the company views SiC power semiconductors as one of its most attractive growth areas, driven by increasing power density and efficiency requirements in renewable energy systems. In solar infrastructure applications, Infineon estimates SiC content between €1,500 and €5,000 per MW. The company expects annual demand growth of approximately 17%. For battery energy storage systems, Infineon estimates SiC content between €2,500 and €3,500 per MW. Additionally, management highlighted that energy storage systems could represent BOM opportunities exceeding €2,500 per MW, further reinforcing the long-term growth potential of power semiconductors in next-generation energy infrastructure. Moreover, growing demand from AI server infrastructure is expected to turn Infineon’s Power & Sensor Systems division into one of the company’s fastest-growing business segments. The division, which primarily serves AI server and power delivery applications, is expected to grow from approximately €1.5B in revenue in 2026 to around €2.5B in 2027, representing roughly 67% YoY growth. Future expectations Looking further ahead, management estimates that the opportunity in AI power infrastructure could reach up to €12B by the end of the decade. Equivalent to nearly 85% of the company’s current annual revenue. Infineon expects its semiconductor and power management content per AI server rack to increase substantially. The company estimates growth from roughly €15K today to more than €100K per rack by the end of the decade. Rapidly growing rack-level power consumption mainly drives this increase. Next-generation AI racks could approach 1 MW of power demand. BOM content in a server rack in the AI data center era Customers Infineon is a diversified company and counts several industry leaders among its customers. Bloom Energy (BE), Delta Electronics (2308.TW) and SolarEdge (SEDG) are some of the relevant customers in the energy generation and distribution steps, key to the AI data center buildout. Author’s opinion In conclusion, Infineon Technologies is a key enabler of next-generation power and intelligent infrastructure systems. Its collaborations across the power electronics ecosystem reinforce the company’s relevance in the evolving energy and AI infrastructure landscape. Although the automotive sector, particularly electric vehicles, has faced a weaker environment in recent years, it has also pushed Infineon to adapt. As a result, the company has further strengthened and expanded its power electronics capabilities. The demanding requirements of automotive applications have helped the company develop highly reliable and efficient solutions. These solutions include power semiconductors, battery management, and energy conversion systems. The company uses this technical expertise to expand its market share in the energy industry. Management has highlighted strong long-term demand for power generation, distribution, and conversion infrastructure for AI data centers. The company expects this demand to grow significantly by the end of the decade. Infineon believes the data center power architecture opportunity could equal around 85% of its current annual revenue. Beyond power semiconductors, Infineon has a strong presence in sensors, microcontrollers, and embedded software. All with strategic value for the emerging physical AI era. Finally, the company already develops encryption chips for the post-quantum computing era. Another important strength is its diversification. Unlike many semiconductor companies with heavy customer concentration, no single customer accounts for more than 10% of Infineon’s total revenue. Infineon is one of the leading suppliers of power electronics. These technologies are becoming increasingly important as AI infrastructure requires much higher energy consumption. That is why I consider it a top stock in the next megatrend. |

Prediction: ON Semiconductor Could Be 2026's Big Tech Stock | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ:ON | ON Price Prediction) has staged one of the most aggressive recoveries in the chip sector this year, and our proprietary model still sees room to run. After a vicious 2025 cyclical downturn, shares have rallied 137.56% year to date and now trade just shy of the 52-week high. Our 24/7 Wall St. price target for onsemi is $141.68, implying additional upside even after the run. 24/7 Wall St. Price Target Summary Metric Value Current Price $128.64 24/7 Wall St. Price Target $141.68 Upside 10.14% Recommendation BUY Confidence Level 90% The 24/7 Wall St. price target points to $141.68 over the next 12 months, a constructive view that runs against the Street’s $105.45 consensus. Confidence is high, but with a beta near 1.94, position sizing matters. A Vertical Rally Out of a Cyclical Trough ON is up 202.4% over the past year and 24.86% in the past month alone, with shares climbing from $113.11 on May 15 to current levels. The rally followed Q4 2025 results that beat on the bottom line: revenue of $1.53 billion against $1.54 billion expected, with non-GAAP EPS of $0.64 versus the $0.62 estimate. CEO Hassane El-Khoury flagged “increasing signs of stabilization in our key markets”, and FY2025 free cash flow hit a record $1.42 billion, fully returned via $1.377 billion in buybacks alongside a fresh $6 billion three-year repurchase authorization. The Case for $148 and Beyond The bull thesis rests on operating leverage as the cycle turns. Q4 free cash flow grew 11.6% even on an 11.2% revenue decline, evidence that El-Khoury’s restructuring is sticking. Growth catalysts are stacking: vertical GaN power semiconductors, the MoU with Innoscience for 200mm GaN-on-silicon, a GlobalFoundries collaboration on 650V GaN, and EliteSiC M3e wins including the Xiaomi EV SUV. AI data center power is the wild card, and r/stocks chatter framing onsemi as “My most confident ai chip play” hints at retail momentum building. Our bull case puts shares at $148.11. What Could Go Wrong The bear case is real. Barclays initiated coverage at equal-weight with a $75 price target, citing automotive and China exposure. FY GAAP gross margin compressed to 33.1% from 45.4%, and the company absorbed $666.9 million in restructuring and impairment charges last year. Insider activity adds caution: CFO Thad Trent sold 90,000 shares across April at $80 to $100. Bulls would counter that those charges reflect heavy investment in SiC and GaN capacity that should drive future operating leverage, and that the new $6 billion buyback partially offsets the dilution risk. Our bear case lands at $111.21. ON Semiconductor Price Prediction 2026-2030 Our 24/7 Wall St. price target of $141.68 carries a buy recommendation with 90% confidence. The factor tipping the scale is the combination of record FCF generation through a downturn and a credible 2026 stabilization signal from management. The bull case strengthens if the Q1 2026 earnings report confirms revenue holding within the $1.435 billion to $1.535 billion guide. The thesis weakens if non-GAAP gross margin slips below the 37.5% guidance floor, since that would signal pricing pressure is outrunning the cost reset. Year 24/7 Wall St. Price Target 2026 $141.68 2027 $152.00 2028 $163.00 2029 $173.00 2030 $183.45 These projections assume onsemi continues executing on its SiC, GaN, and intelligent sensing roadmap while the auto and industrial cycles normalize. Significant upside or downside could result from AI data center power demand inflection or a deeper China automotive correction. |

The interactive tool makes it easier to evaluate pairing behavior and trade-offs, helping accelerate the development of power electronics designs. It also serves as the front door to onsemi’s broader simulation toolset for system-level performance and efficiency analysis. Why it Matters: As power electronics grow more complex, engineers must carefully match gate drivers with switching devices to achieve optimal efficiency, minimize losses, and ensure safe operating temperatures. Early component selection decisions have a direct impact on these system-level outcomes, particularly as teams balance competing requirements. Traditionally, this process requires time-consuming manual evaluation and simulation via extensive datasheet comparisons, spreadsheet analysis, and empirical testing. The onsemi Elite Pairing Studio simplifies this challenge by guiding engineers through a step-by-step process to identify the ideal combination of an onsemi gate driver and SiC MOSFET based on their requirements. Well-matched pairings can be compared quickly, helping reduce iterations and refine power architectures earlier in the development process. This reduces design risk, shortens time to market, and helps ensure systems perform as intended in real-world conditions. How it Works: The cloud-based environment gives engineers access to a private and secure workspace on onsemi.com where they can use an intuitive workflow to explore device combinations based on their inputs. The tool evaluates a wide range of gate driver combinations with the selected SiC MOSFET, using transparent methods based on established industry equations and real-world performance calculations. The evaluation logic is clear and inspectable for users. Through the Elite Pairing Studio, engineers can examine key figures of merit for each pairing, including: Switching timingsGate voltage and current (V/I) waveformsVoltage overshoot margins relative to device ratingsSwitching energy losses, such as turn-on and turn-off energy These insights allow engineers to compare pairing trade-offs relevant to their application and gain early visibility into factors that influence electromagnetic interference behavior and reliability margins. Results are visualized through an interactive waveform viewer, enabling more informed pairing decisions before designs are advanced into full system-level simulation. Additional onsemi technologies will be added to the Elite Pairing Studio in the future. By providing well-matched pairings of SiC MOSFETs and gate drivers tailored to application needs, the onsemi Elite Pairing Studio enables earlier design decisions with a clearer understanding of switching behavior and trade-offs. Those pairing insights can then be carried forward using Studio-generated PLECS system-level simulation models and evaluated in the onsemi Elite Power Simulator to fine-tune efficiency, thermal, and loss performance. Together, this seamless development path helps designers translate early pairing insights into improved system-level efficiency and performance for demanding applications including AI data centers, electric vehicles, industrial systems, and electrification infrastructure. The onsemi Elite Pairing Studio is available now through the onsemi website and will be demonstrated at the onsemi booth (Hall 9-332) at PCIM Expo 2026 in Nuremberg, Germany. Wolfspeed Unveils the Industry's Lowest RDS(ON) Silicon Carbide (SiC) MOSFETs in New Technology Generation | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
DURHAM, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wolfspeed, an industry leader in silicon carbide, has introduced its fifth technology generation, demonstrating a substantial performance leap in efficiency for next-generation 1200 V and 750 V automotive and industrial applications.“With Gen 4, Wolfspeed delivered the switching breakthrough our customers needed, and less than two years later we’re introducing Gen 5 that gives engineers the most current possible with a 5x5 mm silicon carbide footprint,” said Dr. Cengiz Balkas, Wolfspeed Chief Business Officer. “What excites me most isn't just the pace of our innovation; it's what this technology unlocks for our customers: an accelerated path to smarter, more efficient, compact systems made for real-world conditions.” Automotive OEMs continue to face pressure to meet electrification targets, while vehicle cost, safety, mileage range, and charging infrastructure availability remain barriers to broader consumer adoption of EVs. Wolfspeed’s Gen 5 technology was designed to holistically address those barriers and sets a new benchmark for specific on-resistance (RSP) — a core figure of merit for efficiency relative to the MOSFET's active die area. Gen 5 products enable system architects to design more compact traction inverters and improve mileage per charge and right-size costly EV batteries. They also unlock new SiC opportunities by replacing mechanical relays with solid-state circuit breakers and set new efficiency standards for EV charging infrastructure. The benefits extend well beyond automotive, with applications like industrial power supplies equally positioned to take advantage of the Gen 5’s uncompromised switching performance. Enabling unrivaled amperage per SiC area Gen 5-based systems can achieve the highest current possible at high temperatures when compared to competitive 5 x 5 mm footprint silicon carbide MOSFETs. Wolfspeed’s continued optimization of RDS(ON) resolves two compelling design challenges: It significantly improves system-level conduction losses via an up to 27% reduction in RSP over today’s commercially available competitive 1200-V solutions. The 1200 V QEM50120-25D10 achieves a 175℃ chip-level RSP of 3.4 mΩ-cm2, and the 750 V QEM50075-025D10 achieves a 175℃ chip-level RSP of 2.0 mΩ-cm2. It reduces the need for system-level design margin with ultra-low +/- 18% RDS(ON) distribution for both voltage nodes. Powering designs that will endure Wolfspeed Gen 5 includes the same body diode introduced with the Gen 4 technology platform but has an improved junction temperature of 200℃ continuous (215℃ limited life) – further demonstrating Wolfspeed’s commitment to helping customers build truly durable systems. The MOSFETs achieve benchmark RDS(ON) while maintaining excellent switching energy with the soft body diode; overall switching losses are also reduced with further improvement in reverse recovery charge. Designed on a commercially mature platform Gen 5 gives customers a direct, low-risk path from design-in to volume production with no impact to automotive ramp readiness, even with surging AI demand. This is the second Wolfspeed MOSFET technology generation to be designed, manufactured, and qualified within Wolfspeed’s ramp-ready 200 mm device fabrication facility in Mohawk Valley, N.Y. New product introductions (NPI), sampling, and customer validation will be completed using 200 mm production material. Furthermore, no new manufacturing toolsets are required for volume production. “Our planar MOSFET technology still has innovation runway. We established Gen 5 on tools and processes our customers are familiar with to create a low-risk upgrade path for next-generation programs,” said Dr. Adam Barkley, Vice President of Power Device and Package Development. “For customers facing compressed development timelines, that means faster validation, faster qualification, and faster time to market — without sacrificing the performance they know and trust.” To gain insights into how Wolfspeed achieved the above performance, read Dr. Barkley’s article Engineering for Outcomes: Three Ways Gen 5 Achieves Real-World Performance. Availability & Resources Samples for QEM50120-025D10 and QEM50075-025D10 are available for select customers through Wolfspeed’s direct sales representatives. New 750 V to 1200 V products are expected to continue launching throughout 2026 and into early 2027 as market demand and customer requirements become finalized. Wolfspeed is proud to be demonstrating Gen 5 this week at PCIM Booth 7-435. About Wolfspeed Inc. Datadog CEO Says AI Demand Is Fueling Broad-Based Growth Beyond AI Natives | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
2 Software Stocks Turning AI Fears Into Fundamental GainsDatadog NASDAQ: DDOG co-founder and CEO Olivier said the company has seen business acceleration over the past several quarters, with growth coming from a broad set of customers rather than a single account or segment.Speaking at a Bernstein event with Senior Analyst Peter Weed, Olivier said the company is seeing increased demand from “AI natives,” including newer companies built around artificial intelligence and businesses developing key AI infrastructure. But he said the more notable trend is that acceleration is also occurring outside that group, including among older cloud-native companies and larger enterprises. Get Datadog alerts: Datadog Soars, Dynatrace Slumps: Gap Widens in AI Agent Stocks“What’s the most exciting to us is that it is not a specific customer, a specific set of customers, a specific side of the business,” Olivier said. “We’ve really seen acceleration across the board.” AI Growth Adds to Existing Observability Demand Olivier said AI companies are consuming large amounts of infrastructure and running more applications, which is driving demand for Datadog’s traditional observability tools. He also pointed to rising use of Datadog’s AI-specific products, including traffic to MCP services and traces flowing into its LLM Observability product. The AI Fear Around Datadog Stock May Have Been Completely WrongAsked where Datadog’s long-term value comes from, Olivier said the company helps customers manage the complexity created as they ship more applications. He argued that as developers become more productive — from higher-level programming languages to cloud, SaaS and now coding agents — the resulting systems become harder to understand and operate. “That increase of productivity creates a dramatic increase in complexity,” he said. “The problem we solve for our customers is we actually understand that complexity, we manage it for them.” Olivier pushed back on the idea that general-purpose AI models could replace observability software. He said Datadog handles much larger volumes of data than are typically placed into large language models and must operate in near real time. He compared the distinction to asking an AI chatbot for driving advice versus relying on a real-time self-driving system to operate a car. CEO Says Build-It-Yourself Approach Often Lacks Economic Logic Olivier also addressed the argument that companies could use AI coding tools or open-source software to build their own observability systems. He said Datadog provides leverage because a dollar spent on Datadog typically sits alongside much larger spending on cloud infrastructure and engineering teams. He said customers often spend $10 to $20 with their cloud provider and $20 to $100 on engineering for every dollar spent with Datadog. In that context, he said, using Datadog to optimize infrastructure, engineering and AI model spending “doesn’t make economic sense” to replicate internally. He cited hyperscalers adopting Datadog products for development and training of AI models as an example, saying these are companies that culturally tend to build internally and avoid commercial software. Product-Led Model Remains Central Olivier described Datadog’s business as built around bottom-up product adoption, with tools typically first adopted by the people doing the technical work. He said the company emphasizes a unified platform, replatforms acquired products and relies largely on usage-based pricing. That model, he said, gives Datadog clearer signals about what customers find valuable and allows the company to expand its product footprint efficiently. Olivier said Datadog spends about 30% of revenue on research and development, supported by what he described as a more efficient go-to-market model than typical enterprise software businesses. While Datadog has an enterprise sales organization, Olivier said its motion remains bottom-up inside large companies. He said enterprise customers often start with relatively small annualized deals in the mid-five-figure to low-six-figure range and grow over time. Security, AI Agents and Automation Seen as Expansion Areas Olivier said security is a natural extension of Datadog’s platform because development, operations and security teams increasingly need to work together. He said many of the signals needed to secure an application are already present in observability data, including production behavior, code changes, testing environments, user behavior and developer activity. On AI, Olivier distinguished between “Datadog for AI,” which observes AI components used by customers, and “AI for Datadog,” which applies AI to automate more of the application lifecycle. He highlighted Datadog’s Bits AI SRE agent and Bits AI security agent, which he said can run investigations and reduce the time spent responding to outages or security alerts. In one example, he said an AI agent could identify an incident, suggest the people who know how to fix it and propose a fix within minutes, reducing the need for long incident-response calls. Olivier also discussed Toto, a time-series model trained largely on observability data. He said the model generalizes to other time-series domains and is part of Datadog’s broader effort to put specialized intelligence closer to the data plane for real-time automation. Bring Your Own Cloud Addresses Data and Cost Needs Datadog is also expanding deployment flexibility through Bring Your Own Cloud options, Olivier said. The approach allows customers to store data on infrastructure they manage while Datadog continues to run and update the application. He said the demand is driven by several factors, including cost at large scale, data residency laws, existing data center capacity and cloud provider commitments. Olivier said Datadog historically avoided on-premises deployments because they could slow innovation, but said the Bring Your Own Cloud model allows the company to retain product iteration while giving customers more control over data infrastructure. Looking ahead, Olivier said AI is increasing the amount of software, infrastructure and complexity that companies must operate. He said that dynamic supports both newer AI-specific opportunities and Datadog’s core observability business, where he said the company has less than 14% share of a market that continues to grow. What Makes Datadog (DDOG) a Strong Momentum Stock: Buy Now? | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Momentum investing revolves around the idea of following a stock's recent trend in either direction. In "long context," investors will be essentially be "buying high, but hoping to sell even higher." With this methodology, taking advantage of trends in a stock's price is key; once a stock establishes a course, it is more than likely to continue moving that way. The goal is that once a stock heads down a fixed path, it will lead to timely and profitable trades.Even though momentum is a popular stock characteristic, it can be tough to define. Debate surrounding which are the best and worst metrics to focus on is lengthy, but the Zacks Momentum Style Score, part of the Zacks Style Scores, helps address this issue for us. Below, we take a look at Datadog (DDOG - Free Report) , which currently has a Momentum Style Score of A. We also discuss some of the main drivers of the Momentum Style Score, like price change and earnings estimate revisions. It's also important to note that Style Scores work as a complement to the Zacks Rank, our stock rating system that has an impressive track record of outperformance. Datadog currently has a Zacks Rank of #2 (Buy). Our research shows that stocks rated Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) and #2 (Buy) and Style Scores of "A or B" outperform the market over the following one-month period. You can see the current list of Zacks #1 Rank Stocks here >>> Set to Beat the Market?Let's discuss some of the components of the Momentum Style Score for DDOG that show why this data analytics and cloud monitoring company shows promise as a solid momentum pick. Looking at a stock's short-term price activity is a great way to gauge if it has momentum, since this can reflect both the current interest in a stock and if buyers or sellers have the upper hand at the moment. It is also useful to compare a security to its industry, as this can help investors pinpoint the top companies in a particular area. For DDOG, shares are up 6.89% over the past week while the Zacks Internet - Software industry is up 1.79% over the same time period. Shares are looking quite well from a longer time frame too, as the monthly price change of 70.39% compares favorably with the industry's 2.18% performance as well. While any stock can see a spike in price, it takes a real winner to consistently outperform the market. Shares of Datadog have increased 84.08% over the past quarter, and have gained 92.51% in the last year. On the other hand, the S&P 500 has only moved 10.24% and 29.77%, respectively. Investors should also take note of DDOG's average 20-day trading volume. Volume is a useful item in many ways, and the 20-day average establishes a good price-to-volume baseline; a rising stock with above average volume is generally a bullish sign, whereas a declining stock on above average volume is typically bearish. Right now DDOG is averaging 6,670,528 shares for the last 20 days.. Earnings OutlookThe Zacks Momentum Style Score also takes into account trends in estimate revisions, in addition to price changes. Please note that estimate revision trends remain at the core of Zacks Rank as well. A nice path here can help show promise, and we have recently been seeing that with DDOG. Over the past two months, 13 earnings estimates moved higher compared to none lower for the full year. These revisions helped boost DDOG's consensus estimate, increasing from $2.12 to $2.39 in the past 60 days. Looking at the next fiscal year, 12 estimates have moved upwards while there have been no downward revisions in the same time period. Bottom LineGiven these factors, it shouldn't be surprising that DDOG is a #2 (Buy) stock and boasts a Momentum Score of A. If you're looking for a fresh pick that's set to soar in the near-term, make sure to keep Datadog on your short list. |

Datadog Share Value Has More Than Doubled As Investors Recognize a Growing Market Opportunity | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Datadog's (DDOG 1.15%) stock price has more than doubled from its April lows, pushing its market cap toward $80 billion. The cloud monitoring company now trades at all-time highs after Q1 revenue growth expanded to 32% year over year, topping $1 billion in a quarter for the first time. The recent news that Microsoft plans to cancel Claude Code licenses for its developers points to a growing need for companies to track artificial intelligence (AI) usage and costs. This environment could be a boon for Datadog, whose software helps companies observe and optimize spending across their entire technology stack. Image source: Getty Images. A single dashboard Datadog sells a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that helps companies monitor all of their technology in one place. Think of it as a single dashboard that shows the health of a company's servers, software applications, and security systems in real time. This solves a major headache that came with the move to the cloud, where a company's tech is a complex web of services. Datadog's platform brings all that data together, so engineers can find and fix problems quickly. As more data flows into Datadog, it becomes the central hub for a company's tech operations, making it more difficult to switch providers. This is its land-and-expand model in action, as existing customers are currently spending just over 20% more on services than they did a year ago. The biggest threat to Datadog comes from cloud providers like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, which offer their own monitoring tools (often bundled at a low cost). While these tools are generally considered less specialized, they represent ongoing competitive pressure that could erode Datadog's pricing power down the road. Attractive free cash flow, but a steep price Datadog is a highly profitable business on a cash flow basis, even while reinvesting 45% of its revenue into research and development. The company generated $915 million in free cash flow (FCF) last year, for a FCF margin of 27%. The balance sheet is also in great shape, with $3.7 billion in net cash. The company has a valuable platform that's becoming more important as technology costs, especially around AI, continue to rise for its enterprise customers. The business is healthy, with impressive cash flow and a growing AI observability and security product line. Today's Change ( -1.15 %) $ -2.69 Current Price $ 231.55 The main risk for investors today is the valuation. At current prices, the stock trades for roughly 22 times sales and nearly 80 times last year's free cash flow. That's a steep price for a company that'll eventually run into the law of large numbers. That said, there's plenty of operating leverage in the business model, but it'll need to firm up its competitive position before it can pull back on the spending. Datadog Today $230.82 -3.43 (-1.46%) As of 12:21 PM Eastern This is a fair market value price provided by Massive. Learn more. 52-Week Range$98.01▼ $278.70P/E Ratio609.52 Price Target$231.64 Datadog shares absolutely exploded after the company’s Q1 2026 earnings report, shooting up by 31% in a single session. This came as the firm handily beat expectations on sales and adjusted earnings per share (EPS) and substantially increased its guidance for the full year. It now expects to generate full-year sales of between $4.32 billion at the midpoint, which represents growth of around 25% year-over-year (YOY). Datadog also received FedRAMP High certification, which allows it to move forward with U.S. federal government customers that handle highly sensitive workloads. Overall, Datadog shares rose 87.1% in May, the stock’s best monthly return ever. Despite receiving a plethora of upgrades, the MarketBeat consensus price target of approximately $220 implies around 20% downside in shares. The average of targets updated after its report is only slightly higher at $225. However, the vast majority of analysts continue to have a Buy rating on the stock. Datadog’s 41 Buy ratings stand in stark contrast to its just two Sell ratings and one Hold rating. Marvell Continues Strong Performance From April, Ups GuidanceMarvell Technology NASDAQ: MRVL was also a huge winner in May, and tied with Datadog for the top spot, receiving 32 analyst upgrades. Overall, shares gained by 24% in May after coming off of a 67% gain in April. There wasn’t a specific catalyst in May that allowed for Marvell’s strong performance. Rather, the stock really benefited from strength in the AI hardware trade, being a supplier of custom chips and networking solutions. Marvell Technology Today MRVL Marvell Technology $283.90 +3.19 (+1.14%) As of 12:21 PM Eastern This is a fair market value price provided by Massive. Learn more. 52-Week Range$61.44▼ $324.20Dividend Yield0.08% P/E Ratio96.49 Price Target$224.68 Marvell’s Q1 fiscal 2027 (FY2027) earnings report in late May saw the firm post a slight beat on sales and in-line adjusted earnings per share (EPS). Note that the firm’s fiscal reporting period is several quarters ahead of the calendar period. However, the company raised its guidance substantially, by $500 million for FY2027 and by $1.5 billion in FY2028. It expects sales of $11.5 billion and $16.5 billion in these years, respectively. Notably, shares rose by just 3% after this report. Investors seemed to have anticipated the strong guidance Marvell would post, bidding up shares earlier in the month. The MarketBeat consensus price target on Marvell sits near $212, implying a notable downside in shares. The average of targets updated after the company’s report is substantially higher at $236—better, but still implying downside, a reflection of the recent surge in shares following an announcement from NVIDIA NASDAQ: NVDA CEO Jensen Huang that thrust Marvell into the spotlight. In terms of ratings, Marvell has 31 Buys, six Holds, and zero Sells. Snowflake Ends May With a 36% Surge, Gains Over 80% in the MonthLast up is Snowflake NYSE: SNOW—another key player in the AI software space. The stock received 28 upgrades in May, shooting up 87% during the month, good for its largest monthly gain ever. The company’s AI Data Cloud provides a unified platform for analyzing data and building AI applications. Like Datadog, there was a clear catalyst for Snowflake’s hallmark performance: its Q1 FY2027 earnings report. (Snowflake’s fiscal reporting period is several quarters ahead of the calendar year period.) Snowflake Today $237.21 -3.18 (-1.32%) As of 12:21 PM Eastern This is a fair market value price provided by Massive. Learn more. 52-Week Range$118.30▼ $284.99Price Target$291.77 The stock gained almost 37% after the report as Snowflake posted beats on sales and adjusted EPS. The company also raised its full-year guidance, projecting sales of $5.84 billion, compared to its prior estimate of $5.66 billion. Furthermore, Snowflake allocated $6 billion to Amazon.com NASDAQ: AMZN to access more of its Graviton chips. This signals confidence in the firm’s outlook as Snowflake supports its growth through this significant spending commitment. The MarketBeat consensus price target on Snowflake currently sits at $284, implying moderate upside from recent trading levels. The average of targets updated after the company’s report sits near $291, implying healthy upside. Still, most analysts maintain a positive rating on the stock, with Snowflake having 36 Buys compared to just five Holds and one Sell. AI Software Stocks Make Their Voice Heard in MayNotably, large gains in the AI trade were not limited to the hardware stocks that have traditionally dominated. Several software players saw very strong performance as well, rebounding after many names in this industry were crushed earlier in the year. This signals that AI-related success is broadening as AI application building becomes a larger focus in the market. Should You Invest $1,000 in Snowflake Right Now?Before you consider Snowflake, you'll want to hear this. Investors Heavily Search Datadog, Inc. (DDOG): Here is What You Need to Know | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Datadog (DDOG - Free Report) has been one of the most searched-for stocks on Zacks.com lately. So, you might want to look at some of the facts that could shape the stock's performance in the near term.Shares of this data analytics and cloud monitoring company have returned +84.7% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +5.4% change. The Zacks Internet - Software industry, to which Datadog belongs, has gained 7.3% over this period. Now the key question is: Where could the stock be headed in the near term? Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision. Earnings Estimate RevisionsHere at Zacks, we prioritize appraising the change in the projection of a company's future earnings over anything else. That's because we believe the present value of its future stream of earnings is what determines the fair value for its stock. We essentially look at how sell-side analysts covering the stock are revising their earnings estimates to reflect the impact of the latest business trends. And if earnings estimates go up for a company, the fair value for its stock goes up. A higher fair value than the current market price drives investors' interest in buying the stock, leading to its price moving higher. This is why empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements. For the current quarter, Datadog is expected to post earnings of $0.57 per share, indicating a change of +23.9% from the year-ago quarter. The Zacks Consensus Estimate has changed +177.3% over the last 30 days. For the current fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $2.39 points to a change of +16.6% from the prior year. Over the last 30 days, this estimate has changed +93.2%. For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $2.81 indicates a change of +17.8% from what Datadog is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed +8.7%. Having a strong externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, offers a more conclusive picture of a stock's price direction in the near term, since it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. Due to the size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, Datadog is rated Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate: 12 Month EPS Projected Revenue GrowthEven though a company's earnings growth is arguably the best indicator of its financial health, nothing much happens if it cannot raise its revenues. It's almost impossible for a company to grow its earnings without growing its revenue for long periods. Therefore, knowing a company's potential revenue growth is crucial. For Datadog, the consensus sales estimate for the current quarter of $1.08 billion indicates a year-over-year change of +30.2%. For the current and next fiscal years, $4.31 billion and $5.16 billion estimates indicate +25.7% and +19.7% changes, respectively. Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryDatadog reported revenues of $1.01 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +32.2%. EPS of $0.6 for the same period compares with $0.46 a year ago. Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $956.88 million, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +5.18%. The EPS surprise was +20%. The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters. The company topped consensus revenue estimates each time over this period. ValuationWithout considering a stock's valuation, no investment decision can be efficient. In predicting a stock's future price performance, it's crucial to determine whether its current price correctly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects. While comparing the current values of a company's valuation multiples, such as price-to-earnings (P/E), price-to-sales (P/S), and price-to-cash flow (P/CF), with its own historical values helps determine whether its stock is fairly valued, overvalued, or undervalued, comparing the company relative to its peers on these parameters gives a good sense of the reasonability of the stock's price. The Zacks Value Style Score (part of the Zacks Style Scores system), which pays close attention to both traditional and unconventional valuation metrics to grade stocks from A to F (an A is better than a B; a B is better than a C; and so on), is pretty helpful in identifying whether a stock is overvalued, rightly valued, or temporarily undervalued. Datadog is graded F on this front, indicating that it is trading at a premium to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade. ConclusionThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Datadog. However, its Zacks Rank #2 does suggest that it may outperform the broader market in the near term. |

DDOG, ORCL, MSFT emerge as top software stock picks as the sector rebounds: report | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Software stocks are staging a strong comeback after a bruising selloff earlier this year, as investors increasingly bet that artificial intelligence will become a growth catalyst for the industry rather than a disruptive threat. The turnaround has been swift. The iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF (IGV), a widely followed benchmark for software shares, has surged nearly 42% from its April low. The ETF, which had fallen as much as 30% earlier in 2026 amid concerns that AI could replace many traditional software functions, is now down less than 2% for the year. The recovery reflects a shift in investor sentiment as market participants reassess how software companies may benefit from AI adoption instead of being displaced by it. “While AI is causing massive disruption, it is remapping the industry rather than destroying it,” Daniel Morgan, portfolio manager at Synovus Trust in Atlanta, told Reuters. The renewed enthusiasm is not lifting all software stocks equally. Investors are increasingly gravitating toward companies that are successfully integrating AI into their offerings and adapting pricing structures to reflect actual usage rather than charging customers based primarily on employee headcount. The distinction has become increasingly important as businesses deploy AI tools that can perform tasks traditionally handled by large workforces, potentially reducing the effectiveness of conventional subscription-based pricing models. Analysts and portfolio managers cited by Reuters highlighted cloud security providers Datadog and Palo Alto Networks, chip design software company Synopsys, and technology giants Oracle and Microsoft as some of their preferred ways to play the theme. The software rally gained momentum after a months-long selloff that many investors considered excessive. As enthusiasm for AI-powered chipmakers and broader technology stocks intensified, bargain hunters began returning to software names that had suffered some of the steepest declines. The recovery accelerated last week after strong earnings reports and upbeat forecasts from Snowflake and MongoDB improved confidence in the sector's outlook. Another boost came on Monday when Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang delivered a bullish assessment of software demand during his keynote address at the Computex technology conference in Taipei. Addressing concerns that AI agents could diminish the need for software applications, Huang argued the opposite. “The world is no longer limited by the number of people, therefore those agents are going to use more tools than ever,” he said. “This is actually an incredible time to be a software company.” His comments helped fuel another wave of buying across software stocks, reinforcing the view that AI could create new markets and revenue streams rather than simply replacing existing products. Among the standout performers is Datadog DDOG, which has benefited from rising demand for security and monitoring tools used by AI-powered data centers. Jonathan Cofsky, portfolio manager at Janus Henderson, said the company’s usage-based pricing model positions it well for the AI era. Datadog shares have nearly doubled this year and recently hit a record high after the company raised its annual outlook. Palo Alto Networks has also emerged as a favorite among investors. Even though the stock fell on Tuesday, it hit record high on Monday and is up more than 57% for the year. Doug Rogers, portfolio manager at Eaton Vance, believes the growing complexity of cybersecurity threats will support stronger pricing power for the company. “As the number of potential threats and vulnerabilities and the awareness of those vulnerabilities increases, so should the price Palo Alto is able to charge for defending against them,” Rogers told Reuters. Oracle has also regained favor after recovering from sharp earlier losses. Marc Dizard, chief investment officer at Huntington National Bank, said Oracle’s large customer base gives the company flexibility as it refines its AI monetization strategy. Meanwhile, investors continue to view Microsoft as one of the safest long-term AI bets. Despite its subscription-heavy revenue model, analysts point to growth opportunities from its Copilot AI assistant and Azure cloud platform. “Given its size and breadth, it's more than a survivor. It'll always be in the game,” said Tim Ghriskey, senior portfolio strategist at Ingalls & Snyder. |

Wall Street Analysts See Datadog (DDOG) as a Buy: Should You Invest? | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Investors often turn to recommendations made by Wall Street analysts before making a Buy, Sell, or Hold decision about a stock. While media reports about rating changes by these brokerage-firm employed (or sell-side) analysts often affect a stock's price, do they really matter?Let's take a look at what these Wall Street heavyweights have to say about Datadog (DDOG - Free Report) before we discuss the reliability of brokerage recommendations and how to use them to your advantage. Datadog currently has an average brokerage recommendation (ABR) of 1.24, on a scale of 1 to 5 (Strong Buy to Strong Sell), calculated based on the actual recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell, etc.) made by 45 brokerage firms. An ABR of 1.24 approximates between Strong Buy and Buy. Of the 45 recommendations that derive the current ABR, 39 are Strong Buy and three are Buy. Strong Buy and Buy respectively account for 86.7% and 6.7% of all recommendations. Brokerage Recommendation Trends for DDOG Check price target & stock forecast for Datadog here>>> The ABR suggests buying Datadog, but making an investment decision solely on the basis of this information might not be a good idea. According to several studies, brokerage recommendations have little to no success guiding investors to choose stocks with the most potential for price appreciation. Do you wonder why? As a result of the vested interest of brokerage firms in a stock they cover, their analysts tend to rate it with a strong positive bias. According to our research, brokerage firms assign five "Strong Buy" recommendations for every "Strong Sell" recommendation. In other words, their interests aren't always aligned with retail investors, rarely indicating where the price of a stock could actually be heading. Therefore, the best use of this information could be validating your own research or an indicator that has proven to be highly successful in predicting a stock's price movement. Zacks Rank, our proprietary stock rating tool with an impressive externally audited track record, categorizes stocks into five groups, ranging from Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) to Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell), and is an effective indicator of a stock's price performance in the near future. Therefore, using the ABR to validate the Zacks Rank could be an efficient way of making a profitable investment decision. Zacks Rank Should Not Be Confused With ABRIn spite of the fact that Zacks Rank and ABR both appear on a scale from 1 to 5, they are two completely different measures. Broker recommendations are the sole basis for calculating the ABR, which is typically displayed in decimals (such as 1.28). The Zacks Rank, on the other hand, is a quantitative model designed to harness the power of earnings estimate revisions. It is displayed in whole numbers -- 1 to 5. It has been and continues to be the case that analysts employed by brokerage firms are overly optimistic with their recommendations. Because of their employers' vested interests, these analysts issue more favorable ratings than their research would support, misguiding investors far more often than helping them. In contrast, the Zacks Rank is driven by earnings estimate revisions. And near-term stock price movements are strongly correlated with trends in earnings estimate revisions, according to empirical research. In addition, the different Zacks Rank grades are applied proportionately to all stocks for which brokerage analysts provide current-year earnings estimates. In other words, this tool always maintains a balance among its five ranks. There is also a key difference between the ABR and Zacks Rank when it comes to freshness. When you look at the ABR, it may not be up-to-date. Nonetheless, since brokerage analysts constantly revise their earnings estimates to reflect changing business trends, and their actions get reflected in the Zacks Rank quickly enough, it is always timely in predicting future stock prices. Should You Invest in DDOG?In terms of earnings estimate revisions for Datadog, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has increased 93.2% over the past month to $2.39. Analysts' growing optimism over the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by strong agreement among them in revising EPS estimates higher, could be a legitimate reason for the stock to soar in the near term. The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) for Datadog. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>> Therefore, the Buy-equivalent ABR for Datadog may serve as a useful guide for investors. |

Datadog Launches 100+ Capabilities to Help Customers Drive Autonomy and Manage Growing AI and Security Complexity | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
New Bits AI, log management and security capabilities give customers the visibility and autonomous operations they need to detect, investigate and resolve issues across the development loop and data lifecycle June 09, 2026 10:00 ET | Source: Datadog, Inc.NEW YORK, June 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Datadog, Inc., (NASDAQ: DDOG), the leading AI-powered observability and security platform, today unveiled its latest capabilities and technologies at DASH, the company’s annual event where it launches new features and rolls out key integrations focused on driving autonomy and reducing complexity in an industry facing rapid AI-driven transformation. “AI has created new operational challenges where code development has outpaced human-scale management and malicious actors now use AI to attack critical systems. But AI didn't create this complexity — it accelerated what was already there. The companies that win on AI won't just build better models, they'll build operational control around them,” said Olivier Pomel, co-founder and CEO at Datadog. “We consistently invest about 30% of revenue into R&D, which is why we are able to deeply understand and solve the problems our customers face every day in managing operational complexity,” said Alexis Lê-Quôc, co-founder and CTO at Datadog. “At DASH, we launched 100+ capabilities unified around one goal: giving customers the visibility they need to find and fix the issues that matter most, the moment they matter.” Key new products include: Bits AI Becomes Truly Autonomous for Both Incident and Development Actions Bits AI is Datadog’s suite of agents built to automate development, security and operational workflows. “To date, Datadog’s Bits AI has focused on investigating the root cause of issues. Now — with Bits Detection, Agent Evals, Infrastructure, Code, Release, Data Analysis, Testing and Chat — Bits AI is capable of truly autonomous operations, becoming a reliable teammate that operates across every stage of the production lifecycle and development loop,” said Lê-Quôc. With these critical updates, Bits AI automatically detects, investigates and remediates issues by scanning infrastructure around the clock to surface issues, recommend fixes and resolve them. The whole process can happen autonomously using strong, pre-defined guardrails. And these capabilities aren’t limited to traditional systems and applications; with its new Agent Eval capabilities, Bits AI can debug and generate fixes for AI agents. Bits AI also operates across the development loop by following each release and pull request from code change, staging and rollout through to production, and validates that it’s working the way it should be at every step of the way. Bits AI is available on the tools teams use every day, like Slack and Claude, to keep workflows simple. Protect AI Agents With AI Guard “With AI agents operating with elevated privileges, accessing sensitive data, and communicating externally, a single malicious prompt hidden in an innocuous-appearing prompt can turn a well-intended agent into a malicious actor leaking sensitive information — costing millions in reputational damage and data loss. But attackers have learned to hide agent poisoning using subtle instructions only detectable with a deep understanding across multiple steps of the agent’s behavior. Datadog’s new AI Guard uses a unique combination of deep agent telemetry tracing and AI-native stateful behavioral anomaly analysis to detect and block AI agent attacks otherwise missed by stateless prompt-and-response evaluation,” said Tim Knudsen, Vice President of Security Products at Datadog. Bring Your Own Cloud Makes Datadog the One Platform for Wherever Data Lives As AI volumes increase, the number of logs generated is growing exponentially. This often forces companies to make an uncomfortable decision: keep the data and absorb the cost, or delete it and risk losing visibility. Datadog is addressing this concern directly with Bring Your Own Cloud, which deploys the Datadog platform into a customer’s own environment so that data is processed and indexed in their cloud object storage. Create and Monitor Agents Within Datadog With Bits Agent Builder, teams can create custom AI agents inside Datadog that automate remediation and operational workflows — resolving incidents, generating tailored reports and enforcing standards across environments — all within the controls defined by the customer. To help teams understand the business value of their agents, Datadog also announced Agent Console. This product provides centralized monitoring for AI agents and agentic developer tools like Claude Code, Cursor and GitHub Copilot. “While there is no doubt coding agents are speeding software development, a lack of visibility makes it difficult to know the full impact these agents have on the business. Agent Console provides the needed visibility to answer the key questions for users about the heaviest adopters of agents, the tasks that agents perform best and where they struggle, and how the work produced by agents correlates with spend,” said Lê-Quôc. To learn more about Datadog’s latest product capabilities and approach to AI-powered observability and security, please read the round-up blog for all the keynote announcements made at DASH: https://www.datadoghq.com/blog/dash-2026-new-feature-roundup-keynote. About Datadog Datadog is the leading observability and security platform for the AI era, providing businesses with unified visibility across the technology stack to manage complexity at scale. 3 Reasons to Buy DDOG Stock Despite 17.3X P/S Premium Valuation | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Key Takeaways DDOG is raising its outlook after strong revenue growth, margin strength and expanding recurring revenues.DDOG is winning platform consolidation deals as customers adopt more products across its portfolio.DDOG is broadening its AI observability reach, with adoption growth and enterprise workload traction. Datadog (DDOG - Free Report) stock may trade at a premium valuation that gives some investors pause, but the cloud observability and security platform has built a formidable competitive moat. Its unified architecture consolidates infrastructure monitoring, application performance management, log management, security and AI observability within a single agent-based platform, eliminating the fragmented tooling stacks that continue to burden enterprise engineering teams. That differentiation is translating into performance. In the first quarter of 2026, DDOG generated revenues of $1.01 billion, up 32% year over year, with non-GAAP operating margins holding at 22%, while total ARR surpassed $4 billion for the first time.DDOG raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $4.30-$4.34 billion, representing 25–27% year-over-year growth, signaling management's confidence in sustained growth momentum. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for DDOG's 2026 revenues is pegged at $4.31 billion, indicating 25.71% year-over-year growth. The consensus mark for earnings is pegged at $2.39 per share, indicating a 16.59% increase from the previous year. DDOG has delivered impressive returns for shareholders year to date, with shares surging 67.4%, outpacing the broader Zacks Computer and Technology sector's return of 15.9% as well as the Zacks Internet Software industry, which has declined 12.5%. Among peers, Cisco Systems (CSCO - Free Report) has advanced 54.3% over the same period, while Dynatrace (DT - Free Report) has declined 6.3% and International Business Machines (IBM - Free Report) has declined 8%, indicating DDOG's clear outperformance against both direct observability competitors and broader enterprise technology players. DDOG Outperforms Sector, Industry and Peers Image Source: Zacks Investment Research DDOG's Consolidation Motion Points to Untapped GrowthDDOG's consolidation motion is converting into high-value enterprise wins, and the trajectory points to an opportunity still in its early stages. Customers are consistently arriving with fragmented stacks spanning legacy vendors, open-source tools and cloud-native point solutions, and consolidating onto DDOG as a single strategic platform. This motion is broadening, with 56% of customers using four or more products and 20% using eight or more, both improving meaningfully year over year. Yet of DDOG's 26 products, only five have crossed $100 million in ARR, leaving 18 in earlier lifecycle stages and representing a substantial runway for in-base expansion not yet fully realized. Bits Assistant and the bring-your-own-cloud offering, both not yet generally available, are positioned to expand DDOG's reach into large-scale enterprise workloads that would not previously have considered a SaaS-based observability platform, effectively broadening the addressable market rather than simply competing within it. FedRAMP High certification is unlocking a federal agency pipeline where go-to-market investment and channel partnerships are already in place, and the planned UK data center adds a geographic dimension to a public sector expansion story that remains in early innings domestically and internationally. AI Observability Adoption Still in Early MonetizationDDOG's AI observability positioning is evolving from inference-focused to encompassing the full AI development lifecycle, and the commercial implications of that shift are still being priced in. Over 6,500 customers are sending data through one or more AI integrations, representing 20% of total customers but 80% of ARR, with LLM observability spans nearly tripling quarter over quarter, and MCP server tool calls quadrupling in the same period. This acceleration suggests monetization remains in its early stages relative to the underlying adoption curve. Hyperscale training workloads are converting into seven-figure and eight-figure annualized deals with AI research divisions of the world's largest technology companies. As training workloads become production-grade infrastructure for a growing number of enterprises, DDOG's GPU monitoring product is positioned to become a category-defining offering for a market still in the early stages of forming. Bits AI SRE Agent and Bits Assistant remain early in their adoption curves, meaning the monetization opportunity from DDOG's agentic product suite is largely ahead rather than behind. A Premium Worth Paying as Competitive Distance WidensDDOG trades at a premium, as suggested by its Zacks Value Score of F. On a forward 12-month price-to-sales basis, it trades at 17.3X, a significant premium to the sector median of 6.55X and the industry median of 3.71X. Peers International Business Machines, Cisco Systems and Dynatrace trade at 3.51X, 6.99X and 4.95X, respectively. DDOG's premium is justified by a superior growth trajectory and a usage-based model that scales naturally with customer AI adoption. Its product pipeline remains largely ahead in its monetization curve. International Business Machines, Cisco Systems and Dynatrace do not offer a comparable combination of growth visibility and platform depth. DDOG's Premium Valuation Image Source: Zacks Investment Research Investment OutlookDDOG is benefiting from a platform consolidation motion that is still broadening, an AI observability adoption curve that remains ahead in its monetization cycle and a product pipeline with significant scaling potential yet to be realized. Its usage-based model scales naturally with customer AI adoption, making the premium valuation a reflection of genuine growth visibility rather than speculative excess. DDOG currently carries a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) and a Growth Score of A, a favorable combination that offers a strong investment opportunity per the Zacks proprietary methodology. Datadog (DDOG) Recently Broke Out Above the 20-Day Moving Average | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Datadog (DDOG - Free Report) reached a significant support level, and could be a good pick for investors from a technical perspective. Recently, DDOG broke through the 20-day moving average, which suggests a short-term bullish trend. The 20-day simple moving average is a popular investing tool. Traders like this SMA because it offers a look back at a stock's price over a shorter period and helps smooth out price fluctuations. The 20-day can also show more trend reversal signals than longer-term moving averages. Like other SMAs, if a stock's price is moving above the 20-day, the trend is considered positive. When the price falls below the moving average, it can signal a downward trend. DDOG has rallied 15.5% over the past four weeks, and the company is a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) at the moment. This combination suggests DDOG could be on the verge of another move higher. The bullish case solidifies once investors consider DDOG's positive earnings estimate revisions. No estimate has gone lower in the past two months for the current fiscal year, compared to 13 higher, while the consensus estimate has increased too. Given this move in earnings estimate revisions and the positive technical factor, investors may want to keep their eye on DDOG for more gains in the near future. |

Cognizant Develops Frontier Certified Engineer and Frontier Business Operator Roles to Define the Next Generation of AI-Powered Work | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
New roles being developed at scale and backed by proprietary SkillSpring training platform, advance Cognizant's AI Builder strategy to close the $4.5 trillion gap between AI capability and enterprise results, /PRNewswire/ -- Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH) a leading AI builder and technology services provider, today announced the creation of two new job categories; Frontier Certified Engineer and Frontier Business Operator, purpose-built for the AI era. The roles represent a significant expansion of Cognizant's workforce strategy and are designed for a new generation of talent at the forefront of enterprise AI transformation. The announcement is a direct extension of Cognizant's AI Builder strategy, which is built on a single, urgent fact: most organizations have yet to translate AI into measurable business outcomes. Cognizant's research measures the gap between what AI can deliver and what enterprises are realizing at $4.5 trillion, a figure reflecting a shortage of the people and processes capable of meaningfully putting AI to work. Frontier Engineers will work directly with client organizations to reimagine and realign business processes for an AI-enabled environment. Frontier Certified Engineers will specialize in rethinking how work gets done — identifying where AI can reshape operations, eliminate friction, and create lasting competitive advantage. The role requires both strategic thinking and technical fluency, making it one of the most consequential pivot points into the AI-era workforce. Frontier Business Operators take an equally critical approach. Tasked with taking full ownership of operational results, they will manage a blended workforce of human and digital labor including deploying AI agents, automation, and human judgment in concert to drive business outcomes. Where Frontier Certified Engineers redesign the map, Frontier Business Operators navigate it in real time. Thirumala Arohi, Senior Vice President and Head of Learning and Development at Cognizant said, "The question every enterprise is asking is why AI results aren't showing up yet. The answer is talent and process. AI has exposed 93% of jobs to automation, yet the $4.5 trillion in labor value that represents remains uncaptured. The reason is not the technology; it is the workforce architecture. The pyramid was built for a pre-AI world. Frontier Certified Engineers who design for agentic outcomes and the Frontier Business Operators who own them are a new kind of professional, trained from day one to turn AI capability into business reality. The most important innovation of this decade will not come from AI. It will come from empowering every worker to use it." Central to the initiative is SkillSpring, Cognizant's proprietary training platform built to onboard and develop talent for emerging AI-era roles. The Frontier Certified Engineer and Frontier Business Operator tracks, which are being built at scale, will undergo structured learning paths combining AI fluency, process design, data interpretation, and operational leadership — equipping them to use and orchestrate AI tools in high-stakes enterprise environments. SkillSpring is designed to compress the traditional ramp time for associates, giving Cognizant clients faster access to job-ready talent while providing associates with a credentialed, career-defining foundation in human-AI collaboration. "We are making a deliberate bet on the next generation," said Kathy Diaz, Chief Human Resources Officer of Cognizant. "Frontier Certified Engineers and Frontier Business Operators are roles that are being designed from scratch and at scale for the world we are in now. SkillSpring gives us the ability to rapidly develop associates who can lead in an AI-first environment. This is how we build a workforce that isn't just ready for what's next but is actively shaping it." The development of these roles underscores Cognizant's position as an AI builder, a company that builds the human and operational infrastructure enterprises need to make AI work at scale. As organizations across every sector grapple with the challenge of turning AI investments into bottom-line results, Cognizant is investing in the talent model that makes that transition possible. Here's Why Cognizant (CTSH) is a Strong Momentum Stock | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals for new and old investors, and Zacks Premium offers many different ways to do both. The research service features daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, full access to the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens, all of which will help you become a smarter, more confident investor. Zacks Premium includes access to the Zacks Style Scores as well. What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores is a unique set of guidelines that rates stocks based on three popular investing types, and were developed as complementary indicators for the Zacks Rank. This combination helps investors choose securities with the highest chances of beating the market over the next 30 days. Each stock is given an alphabetic rating of A, B, C, D or F based on their value, growth, and momentum qualities. With this system, an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on, meaning the better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform. The Style Scores are broken down into four categories: Value ScoreValue investors love finding good stocks at good prices, especially before the broader market catches on to a stock's true value. Utilizing ratios like P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, Price/Cash Flow, and many other multiples, the Value Style Score identifies the most attractive and most discounted stocks. Growth ScoreWhile good value is important, growth investors are more focused on a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score takes projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow into account to uncover stocks that will see long-term, sustainable growth. Momentum ScoreMomentum traders and investors live by the saying "the trend is your friend." This investing style is all about taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook. Employing factors like one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates, the Momentum Style Score can indicate favorable times to build a position in high-momentum stocks. VGM ScoreWhat if you like to use all three types of investing? The VGM Score is a combination of all Style Scores, making it one of the most comprehensive indicators to use with the Zacks Rank. It rates each stock on their combined weighted styles, which helps narrow down the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum. How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank A proprietary stock-rating model, the Zacks Rank utilizes the power of earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings outlook, to help investors create a successful portfolio. #1 (Strong Buy) stocks have produced an unmatched +23.7% average annual return since 1988, which is more than double the S&P 500's performance over the same time frame. However, the Zacks Rank examines a ton of stocks, and there can be more than 200 companies with a Strong Buy rank, and another 600 with a #2 (Buy) rank, on any given day. This totals more than 800 top-rated stocks, and it can be overwhelming to try and pick the best stocks for you and your portfolio. That's where the Style Scores come in. To maximize your returns, you want to buy stocks with the highest probability of success. This means picking stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B. If you find yourself looking at stocks with a #3 (Hold) rank, make sure they have Scores of A or B as well to ensure as much upside potential as possible. Since the Scores were created to work together with the Zacks Rank, the direction of a stock's earnings estimate revisions should be a key factor when choosing which stocks to buy. Here's an example: a stock with a #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell) rating, even one with Style Scores of A and B, still has a downward-trending earnings outlook, and a bigger chance its share price will decrease too. Thus, the more stocks you own with a #1 or #2 Rank and Scores of A or B, the better. Stock to Watch: Cognizant (CTSH - Free Report) Headquartered in Teaneck, NJ, Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is a leading professional services company. The company was spun off from Dun & Bradstreet in 1996 and went public in 1998. CTSH is a #3 (Hold) on the Zacks Rank, with a VGM Score of A. Momentum investors should take note of this Computer and Technology stock. CTSH has a Momentum Style Score of A, and shares are up 10.2% over the past four weeks. Six analysts revised their earnings estimate upwards in the last 60 days for fiscal 2026. The Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.04 to $5.70 per share. CTSH boasts an average earnings surprise of +4.8%. With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Momentum and VGM Style Scores, CTSH should be on investors' short list. |

Cognizant and CrowdStrike Expand Strategic Alliance to Secure the Agentic Enterprise | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Cognizant deepens its partnership with CrowdStrike, bringing the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform to its AI Factory and Managed Cybersecurity Services to help enterprises secure AI across every layer., /PRNewswire/ -- Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH) announced an expanded strategic alliance with CrowdStrike to help enterprises secure artificial intelligence across its lifecycle, from the AI agents and models to the foundational infrastructure that supports the entire AI ecosystem. Building on a partnership established in 2025, Cognizant is bringing the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform to its AI Factory and its Managed Cybersecurity Services, powered by the Cognizant Neuro® Cybersecurity platform. The expansion arrives at an inflection point for enterprise AI. Organizations are no longer deciding whether to deploy autonomous AI agents; they are deploying them at scale, across operations, IT and core business processes, and across every environment they run in, from public and private cloud to the edge. That shift widens the enterprise attack surface in ways traditional tooling was not built to address. Adversaries are accelerating attacks with AI, exploiting unsanctioned "shadow AI", manipulating models through prompt injection and probing the new entry points that agentic architectures create. Security has become the decisive factor in whether enterprise AI scales with confidence or stalls. "AI Builder is about putting AI to work inside the workflows that run a business, and that only scales if the AI is secure from the start. An unsecured AI agent isn't a productivity gain, it's an open door," said Surya Gummadi, President, Americas, Cognizant. "By bringing the CrowdStrike Falcon platform together with our AI Factory and Neuro Cybersecurity platform, we're giving clients a way to build, run and secure autonomous AI across the agent, the model and the infrastructure beneath it. That's what it takes to move AI into real enterprise operations with an approach aligned to the assurance expectations of boards, regulators and customers." Cognizant's AI Builder approach is about putting AI to work where it matters, embedding intelligent agents into the workflows that run the enterprise. For that to scale, the AI has to be secure, governed and trustworthy. This alliance aims to deliver on both, across three capabilities: AI-native managed security operations: Cognizant is bringing the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform, including Charlotte AI™ and CrowdStrike's Agentic Security Workforce, and Falcon® Next-Gen SIEM, to its managed cybersecurity services, orchestrated through the Cognizant Neuro® Cybersecurity platform. The result brings always-on AI agents supporting functions such as alert triage, threat intelligence, vulnerability prioritization and data onboarding into Cognizant's delivery operations, within guardrails set by Cognizant's security architects. Security and governance across AI Factory: Within Cognizant's AI Factory, CrowdStrike Falcon® capabilities support the governance layer that is designed to keep AI agents and applications operating inside defined security and compliance boundaries. Falcon® AI Detection and Response (AIDR) helps protect the prompt and agent interaction layer, while AI model scanning and shadow AI detection give clients visibility into every model, tool and agent in their environment. These capabilities are delivered in collaboration with clients and operate within client-defined governance, risk and compliance frameworks. A security layer for private, sovereign AI: For regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare and government, Cognizant's private AI Factory deployments aim to deliver sovereign, on-premises AI infrastructure hosted within a client's own data center. The CrowdStrike Falcon® platform serves as a security layer across these deployments, extending unified protection to the compute, containers and data pipelines that power private models. These capabilities build on Cognizant being named CrowdStrike's 2026 Americas Velocity Partner of the Year, recognizing Cognizant's measurable pipeline and delivery success and the speed at which it has brought joint capabilities to market with CrowdStrike. "The future enterprise will be powered by AI agents. The challenge isn't building them, it's securing them," said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike. "Together, CrowdStrike and Cognizant are helping organizations move AI from experimentation to enterprise adoption with the confidence that every agent, model and workload is protected by the Falcon platform. That's how businesses innovate faster, deploy AI securely and stop breaches in the AI era." Together, Cognizant and CrowdStrike are aiming to give enterprises a path to deploy autonomous AI with confidence that every agent, model and interaction is protected, governed and resilient by design. Cognizant Accelerates Enterprise AI Adoption with Snowflake's Cortex-Powered Intelligent Agents | FMP Stock News

Original source text
Expanded collaboration leverages Snowflake CoCo aiming to deliver production-gradeintelligent agents across data engineering, analytics and decision workflows , /PRNewswire/ -- Cognizant (Nasdaq: CTSH) and Snowflake today announced at Snowflake Summit 26 an expanded collaboration aiming to accelerate enterprise AI adoption through the Snowflake CoCo platform. As a Preferred Launch Partner for CoCo and Snowflake's 2026 CoCo Catalyst Partner of the Year for Impactful Customer Story, Cognizant is deploying a growing portfolio of AI-powered intelligent agents that support and enhance data engineering, analytics and business decision workflows, helping organizations move beyond pilots and into full-scale production with speed and confidence. Enterprises are under increasing pressure to operationalize AI, yet many remain constrained by legacy systems, fragmented data environments and the complexity of embedding AI into business workflows. Cognizant's AI Builder strategy is designed to address this challenge directly by connecting advanced AI platforms, deep industry expertise and workflow-centric design to translate AI investment into measurable business outcomes. Under this approach, Cognizant is enabling clients to compress timelines across the full AI lifecycle, from semantic model generation and agent orchestration to governed analytics and streamlined validation workflows, deploying production-grade intelligent agents at a pace traditional delivery models often struggle to match. "When the data foundation is AI-ready and business context is built in, build cycles collapse," said Naveen Sharma, Senior Vice President and Practice Head, AI & Analytics at Cognizant. "That is exactly what Cognizant's AI Builder approach delivers, and with Snowflake CoCo, we are putting production-grade AI into enterprise workflows in hours, not weeks." The expanded collaboration is underpinned by strong enterprise adoption of the CoCo platform within Cognizant's AI & Analytics practice, which integrates AI engineering, domain expertise and ecosystem platforms to operationalize AI at scale. To date, CoCo has expanded to more than 2,250 users across Cognizant labs and client environments, with over 30 enterprise use cases operationalized and more than 260 hours of enablement delivered. Cognizant has also developed 12+ custom CoCo skills and over 90 revenue-ready accelerators, supporting more than 1.3 million AI-driven requests, demonstrating sustained, enterprise-wide adoption and real consumption at scale. "Enterprises are at a pivotal moment in their AI journey, where success depends on the ability to move from experimentation to real, scalable impact," said Amy Kodl, SVP, Worldwide Alliances & Channels at Snowflake. "Our collaboration with Cognizant brings together the power of the CoCo platform with deep industry and workflow expertise to help organizations operationalize AI faster—turning data into decisions and driving meaningful business outcomes at scale." A+E Global Media™ provides a clear example of how enterprises are translating AI investment into measurable business outcomes. Cognizant successfully deployed an AI-powered conversational analytics agent built on Snowflake CoCo to transform Creative Airing Logs across the linear landscape. The solution streamlined a previously manual, multi-step analytics workflow by automating dataset preparation and supporting business users in asking natural language questions and easy investigation of trafficking discrepancies reported by agencies, as well as ad-hoc reporting on problematic product categories. By replacing time-intensive reporting processes, the Cortex agent significantly improved operational efficiency across Commercial Operations and Legal & Business Affairs teams. Agent implementation has helped A+E Global Media reclaim approximately 200 hours of manual effort for business users while reducing labor costs and accelerating decision-making. Snowflake CoCo accelerated end-to-end workflow – from authoring complex SQL, to validating data quality and performing exploratory analysis – serving as an AI co-pilot that reduced development time, improved accuracy and streamlined key phases of delivery. "At A+E Global Media, we are leveraging Snowflake's AI-native cloud platform, including Cortex agents, to enable intelligent access to creative airing and advertising operations data. This empowers our Ad Operations and Legal teams to interact with data more directly, make faster and more informed decisions and significantly reduce manual effort across critical workflows. Cognizant continues to be a strong strategic partner in helping us bring these innovative AI-driven solutions to life," said Bruno Sathyan, VP, Corporate Application Engineering & Enterprise Data at A+E Global Media. Cognizant continues to expand its portfolio of CoCo-enabled use cases across analytics, contract intelligence, compliance automation, financial workflows and anomaly detection. Representative outcomes include up to 70% effort reduction for a global biopharma leader, approximately $85K in annual savings and 1,300 hours reclaimed for a sports and entertainment company and a 99% reduction in change impact analysis time for a North American telecom provider, reinforcing its leadership in translating AI innovation into tangible enterprise value. Building on the success of engagements such as A+E Global Media, Cognizant plans to continue to deepen its investment in industry-specific CoCo skills, pre-built agent templates and cross-platform orchestration capabilities – supporting enterprises to scale their agentic AI programs on a proven, governed foundation. Cognizant announces ServiceNow partnership to accelerate scalable, operationalized AI governance at enterprise scale | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
New integration pairs ServiceNow's visibility and governance with Cognizant's agentic intelligence and control platform, providing a path to help enable the continuous application of responsible AI principles across the full AI lifecycle, /PRNewswire/ -- Cognizant (Nasdaq: CTSH) announced the integration of Cognizant Neuro® AI Trust with ServiceNow, enhancing one of the most widely adopted enterprise AI platforms with a continuous AI assurance infrastructure purpose-built for enterprise scale. The integration is designed to give organizations a single, interoperable environment in which AI governance is not only visible and managed but actively enforced through responsible AI agents operating across every stage of the AI lifecycle. AI deployment is no longer the constraint. The constraint is trust: the ability to confidently demonstrate, at scale, that AI running inside regulated processes, customer-facing systems and core operations is aligned with its intended purpose and defined controls. Without that assurance layer, enterprises hesitate at the threshold of real transformation. The integrated offering is designed to offer users a fundamental shift in how they manage and scale AI. Where teams once struggled with fragmented visibility, manual compliance and slow deployment cycles, they now stand to gain a unified, real-time view of every AI asset in operation, with governance and risk controls embedded directly into their workflows. The result is designed to support faster, more confident AI deployment, audit readiness and the ability to demonstrate measurable business value to leadership, regulators and customers. The vision is one where, when AI systems fail or drift, organizations know immediately, respond automatically and can demonstrate they were operating responsibly, shifting AI from a source of operational and reputational risk into a trusted business capability. "The market has solved AI access. What enterprises now need is the ability to operate AI responsibly at the scale and speed their businesses demand," said Sriram Kumaresan, Global Head of Cloud and Infrastructure Services, Cognizant. "With this integration, customers gain not just a platform for visibility, but an active operating layer that helps organizations operationalize and monitor responsible AI behavior continuously as their systems learn, adapt and act." The ServiceNow AI Control Tower is designed to provide the unified governance and observability backbone, unifying strategy, controls and performance management across every AI system, agent and workflow. Cognizant Neuro AI Trust extends this foundation with real-time assurance across the full AI enterprise stack, deploying a library of responsible AI and Guardian agents that orchestrate dynamically to support the application of fairness, safety, security, transparency and compliance principles throughout AI development and operation. The platform is built for interoperability, extending governance across third-party agentic networks to support consistent enforcement regardless of where AI systems operate. Together, the integrated solution is designed to move enterprises from periodic compliance to more continuous, observable AI assurance. "The agentic AI terrain is expanding quickly in scope and in business impact, and yet the visibility gap is palpable. AI Control Tower gives organizations a single command center to govern every model, every agent and AI asset, and their identities and associated permissions across the enterprise, not just inside ServiceNow," said John Aisien, senior vice president and general manager, Central Product Management, Security & Risk at ServiceNow. "Together with Cognizant, we're closing this gap: connecting deployment to accountability, through a unified approach to governance. With a comprehensive framework for discovering, monitoring, managing and scaling AI, organizations can accelerate innovation while maintaining trust and control across their operations." The integration is designed for the realities of regulated enterprise AI. Cognizant's platform comes with a library of leading standards, regulatory frameworks1 and guardrails with pre-built compliance content designed to compress the time from policy to operational implementation. The combined offering supports a three-phase operating model: plan with clarity, onboard with governance and operate with confidence. For enterprises facing the persistent challenge of closing the distance between AI investment and measurable business outcomes, governance becomes a source of speed rather than friction. "The hard part of AI governance was never writing the policy; it's enforcing it as systems learn and act. Clients increasingly want that gap closed automatically and tied to business outcomes. The pairing of Cognizant Neuro AI Trust with the ServiceNow AI Control Tower reflects where enterprise AI governance is headed: from static oversight to continuous, execution-driven operations," said Nitish Mittal, Partner at Everest Group. The combined offering reflects Cognizant's broader strategy as an AI builder: helping enterprises move from AI experimentation to production by ensuring AI in production stays accountable to the people, policies and regulators that depend on it. More details on Cognizant Neuro AI Trust's control and intelligence layers are expected to be announced in the near future. Cognizant Launches Sovereign Physical AI Platform-as-a-Service | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Establishes industry leading sovereign Physical AI Platform-as-a-Service, built on the Cognizant® Intelligence Spine Unifies Cognizant's engineering, AI, industry capabilities for Physical AI across eight core verticals , /PRNewswire/ -- Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH) today launched an industry leading sovereign Physical AI Platform-as-a-Service, an integrated capability that moves autonomous systems from experimentation into core enterprise infrastructure. Built on the Cognizant Intelligence Spine, the offering connects disparate physical systems, including industrial sensors, IoT devices, factory automation and energy infrastructure, into a single coherent intelligence fabric, helping enterprises scale Physical AI across their operations.Cognizant Launches Sovereign Physical AI Platform-as-a-Service Physical AI brings advanced multimodal intelligence, including vision, sensing, positioning and low-latency communication, into the operating layers of a business, allowing enterprises to direct physical action with greater visibility and control. After two decades in which industrialization centered on software, autonomous systems are now expanding into factories, warehouses, agriculture, healthcare and mobility, opening what the Grand View Research has estimated to be close to a trillion-dollar opportunity across service and utility robotics, autonomous vehicles and humanoid systems by 2033. "In some ways, this is the iPhone moment for robotics and Physical AI," said Ravi Kumar S, CEO, Cognizant. "Advanced vision sensors, precise positioning, low-latency secure communication and new multimodal AI innovations are the constituents that bring AI into the physical world. Over the next few years, autonomous systems are expected to move from experiments to infrastructure. As an AI builder, our role is to help embed AI-powered digital intelligence into the physical and operating layers of a business, so enterprises can direct physical action with confidence. The enterprises we serve are at an inflection point, and we have built the cognitive foundation they need to move forward." The shift is documented in Cognizant's New Work, New World 2026 study, which found that AI exposure in physical work has accelerated faster than long-range forecasts anticipated. In transportation, AI exposure climbed from 6% to 25%, and in construction it rose from 4% to 12%. The study also found that the most human-centered parts of physical work now have meaningful potential for digital enhancement, reinforcing the case for embedding AI directly into operational layers rather than leaving it confined to digital systems. "Engineering and AI capabilities are distributed across companies and industries, and the opportunity in front of us is pervasive," said Vijay Narayan, Cognizant's newly appointed Global Head for Physical AI, who also leads the company's Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy and Utilities business. "Bringing them together lets us give clients a coherent way to put AI to work where their operations actually run. The differentiator is not a single model or sensor. It is the discipline to connect what physical systems observe, reason about it, act on it and keep that intelligence owned and governed by the enterprise as an asset that compounds over time. As AI builders, our role is to help embed intelligence into the physical and operating layers of a business, not to leave it confined to digital systems. We believe the companies that will lead the Physical AI era are not the ones waiting for proof-of-concept experiments to mature; they are the ones building governed, scalable systems into their physical and operational cores today, and that is what Cognizant is uniquely positioned to deliver." Built on the Cognizant Intelligence Spine The central challenge in Physical AI is no longer building capable use cases but scaling and connecting them. The proliferation of AI models and equipment makers across the ecosystem leaves enterprises without shared context, a unified reasoning layer, or institutional knowledge they truly own, a condition that leaves an enterprise able to sense everything yet reason about little of it. Cognizant's thesis is that this is an architectural problem. The company's answer is the Cognizant Intelligence Spine, an industry leading sovereign institutional AI platform-as-a-service for Physical AI. The Spine sits between the physical edge, including sensors, cameras, robots and AI twins, and the agentic layer that reasons and acts, connecting physical AI systems with agentic AI into a single institutional mind that is designed for enterprise ownership and governance. In physical environments, where failure carries safety, compliance or operational consequences rather than just a poor user experience, this governed and sovereign approach is increasingly critical for many enterprise use cases. Cognizant builds the sovereign layer that makes physical AI institutional: unified across every system, connected to agentic AI, governed by the client's rules and deepening with every decision, so each AI system deployed contributes to a unified institutional intelligence the enterprise owns, governs and expands over time. Capabilities Across Eight Core Verticals Cognizant is deploying this capability across sectors, aligning its engineering, AI and industry expertise to deliver production value at-scale. From predictive maintenance and mission-critical system integration to clinical operations and intelligent energy grids, the applications are as diverse as they are impactful. The Cognizant Intelligence Spine is available for enterprise engagements with immediate applicability across eight core verticals including: Utilities: Grid modernization, wildfire prevention, predictive asset maintenance, distributed energy management. Oil & Gas: Pipeline integrity monitoring, autonomous inspection, safety-system intelligence, environmental compliance. Manufacturing: Autonomous quality control, predictive maintenance, robotic process integration, yield optimization. Logistics: Autonomous warehouse operations, fleet intelligence, last-mile optimization, supply chain visibility. Transportation: Autonomous fleet operations, infrastructure monitoring, port operations, real-time routing intelligence. Aerospace & Defense: Autonomous inspection, mission-critical AI, sovereign systems with full institutional governance. Healthcare & Life Sciences: Autonomous lab operations, clinical robotics, supply chain intelligence, capabilities for regulatory traceability. Consumer, Retail and CPG: Safety-critical monitoring, regulatory compliance automation, process inspection, digital-twin governance. This “Hidden” Tech Leader Is the Smarter Play as Employment Trends Shift | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
ZipRecruiter (NYSE:ZIP) is back in the chatter as retail traders bet the soft labor market is about to turn, with the stock bouncing 13.29% in the past month. But here’s what you should actually be watching. The ZipRecruiter Trade Is a Trap The bull case for ZipRecruiter requires you to believe a hiring rebound is imminent. The data says otherwise. Unemployment sat at 4.3% in April 2026, up from 3.9% two years earlier. CEO Ian Siegel himself described a “persistently soft labor market” with quits and total hires near their lowest levels since 2015. The financials confirm the structural decay. Q1 2026 revenue fell to $107.5 million, down 2.3% year over year, with a GAAP net loss of $4.74 million. Full-year 2025 revenue slid 5.27% to $449 million, producing a $33 million net loss. Management is guiding to flat revenue in 2026. Shares have shed 44.99% over the past year and 84.58% over five. At a $264 million market cap with negative book value, this is a structurally shrinking micro-cap dressing up an AI matching engine to distract from the core business burning out. The Smarter Play: Cognizant The real macro shift is enterprise automation, and Cognizant Technology Solutions (NASDAQ:CTSH | CTSH Price Prediction) is built precisely for the moment when corporations stop hiring bodies and start overhauling tech stacks. The stock has pulled back 29.47% over the past year to $55.76, trading at just 12x trailing earnings and 10x forward. Three reasons retirement investors should care. 1. Profitable growth at scale. Q1 2026 revenue hit $5.41 billion, up 5.8% year over year, with adjusted EPS of $1.40 beating the $1.33 consensus and earnings growing 13.8%. Financial Services surged 12.4% to $1.644 billion. Quarterly bookings rose 21% year over year, with trailing bookings of $29.6 billion at a 1.4x book-to-bill. ZipRecruiter is shrinking and losing money. Cognizant is compounding. 2. AI with actual cash flow. The partnership roster is real: OpenAI Codex, Google Cloud Diamond, Palantir, and the 3Cloud acquisition for Microsoft Azure. CEO Ravi Kumar S is using these to bridge what he calls the “AI Velocity Gap”, with over 5,000 AI engagements and roughly 40% of code AI-assisted. All of it is funded by $2.665 billion of FY25 free cash flow, up 45.87%. This is AI you can underwrite. 3. Shareholder returns ZipRecruiter cannot match. Cognizant plans $1.6 billion in 2026 capital returns, including $1 billion in buybacks, with the quarterly dividend raised to $0.33. Project Leap is targeting $200 to $300 million in 2026 savings, lifting adjusted operating margin guidance to 16.0% to 16.2%. The analyst target sits at $72.52, well above the current quote. Close Cognizant on the watchlist, and let the labor-market crowd keep arguing about ZipRecruiter. |

Here's Why Cognizant (CTSH) is a Strong Value Stock | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
It doesn't matter your age or experience: taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals for all investors. Luckily, Zacks Premium offers several different ways to do both.Featuring daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, full access to the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens, the research service can help you become a smarter, more self-assured investor. It also includes access to the Zacks Style Scores. What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores, developed alongside the Zacks Rank, are complementary indicators that rate stocks based on three widely-followed investing methodologies; they also help investors pick stocks with the best chances of beating the market over the next 30 days. Growth ScoreGrowth investors, on the other hand, are more concerned with a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score examines things like projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow to find stocks that will experience sustainable growth over time. Momentum ScoreMomentum investors, who live by the saying "the trend is your friend," are most interested in taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook. Utilizing one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates, among other factors, the Momentum Style Score can help determine favorable times to buy high-momentum stocks. VGM ScoreIf you want a combination of all three Style Scores, then the VGM Score will be your friend. It rates each stock on their combined weighted styles, helping you find the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum. It's also one of the best indicators to use with the Zacks Rank. How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank is a proprietary stock-rating model that harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to help investors build a successful portfolio. With more than 800 top-rated stocks to choose from, it can certainly feel overwhelming to pick the ones that are right for you and your investing journey. That's where the Style Scores come in. To have the best chance of big returns, you'll want to always consider stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B, which will give you the highest probability of success. If you're looking at stocks with a #3 (Hold) rank, it's important they have Scores of A or B as well to ensure as much upside potential as possible. As mentioned above, the Scores are designed to work with the Zacks Rank, so any change to a company's earnings outlook should be a deciding factor when picking which stocks to buy. It also boasts a Value Style Score of A thanks to attractive valuation metrics like a forward P/E ratio of 9.34; value investors should take notice. Six analysts revised their earnings estimate upwards in the last 60 days for fiscal 2026. The Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.04 to $5.70 per share. CTSH boasts an average earnings surprise of +4.8%. With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Value and VGM Style Scores, CTSH should be on investors' short list. |

Cognizant's AI Builder approach to enterprise transformation earns Blueprint Pioneer Award at PegaWorld 2026 | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Recognition reflects more than 30 Cognizant-powered Pega Blueprint deployments across banking and capital markets, insurance, healthcare and life sciences, demonstrating the ability to compress transformation timelines from months to days., /PRNewswire/ -- Cognizant (Nasdaq: CTSH) announced today it has been recognized with the Blueprint Pioneer Award at PegaWorld 2026 by Pegasystems Inc., the enterprise AI software company for mission-critical work. The award recognizes Cognizant's mastery and innovation in leveraging Pega Blueprint™ across more than 30 enterprise deployments to help clients advance from AI experimentation to production outcomes. Many enterprises remain stuck in AI pilots that don't scale. Closing the gap between AI capability and production value often depends on the context. Embedded industry knowledge, human-AI handshake in workflows and operational discipline are key factors in making AI work effectively in the real conditions of an enterprise. The Blueprint Pioneer Award recognizes Cognizant for that work. The recognition builds on the strategic collaboration the two companies expanded in May 2025, when Cognizant and Pega extended their two-decade partnership to bring AI-led transformation to enterprise legacy modernization. That collaboration integrates Cognizant's agentic AI services with Pega Blueprint to help joint clients reimagine workflow-heavy legacy systems and accelerate cloud-ready transformation. "Just dropping AI into a complex enterprise environment will never deliver at enterprise scale," said Prashant Gaonkar, SVP, Enterprise Platforms, Cognizant. "Pega Blueprint is powerful because it is infused with deep industry knowledge, human-AI handshake in workflows and operational discipline. That is the AI Builder approach in practice, and it is the work this award recognizes." Cognizant-powered Pega Blueprint is in active deployment across banking and capital markets, insurance, healthcare and life sciences. The work follows a two-phase model that operationalizes the AI Builder approach. In the first phase, Cognizant produces an initial Blueprint to demonstrate what is possible for a given business function. In the second, client-specific knowledge, rules and Cognizant process IP are layered in, secured in the client's environment and used to enable scaled delivery. "Congratulations to Cognizant for receiving the Blueprint Pioneer Award," said Dan Kasun, Global Head of Partner Ecosystem, Pega. "This achievement demonstrates exceptional mastery and innovation in leveraging Pega Blueprint™ throughout the entire sales and delivery cycle. We look forward to our continued collaboration." In one example, Cognizant tailored its standard healthcare Blueprints to a client's specific operational context, modernizing a complex legacy workflow into an integrated, end-to-end process. Built-in compliance checkpoints, pre-mapped process steps and reusable IP from prior client engagements help drive quality and consistency across new deployments. Cognizant is showcasing its Pega Blueprint-driven industry solutions at PegaWorld 2026 in Las Vegas, where Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S will join Pega Founder and CEO Alan Trefler on the mainstage for a conversation on the future of agentic AI in enterprise transformation. New York, New York--(Newsfile Corp. - April 20, 2026) - Kuehn Law, PLLC, a shareholder litigation law firm, is investigating whether certain officers and directors of BellRing Brands, Inc. (NYSE: BRBR) breached their fiduciary duties to shareholders.According to a federal securities lawsuit, Insiders at BellRing Brands caused the company to misrepresent or fail to disclose that BellRing's reported sales were materially attributable to temporary inventory stockpiling by several of its key customers, which concealed the erosion of the Company's market share as competition intensified. Instead, customers accumulated excess inventory as a safeguard against product shortages that had previously constrained BellRing's supply.
