GKOS roste díky iDose TR a menším obavám z Medicare
GKOS Glaukos
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Key Takeaways GKOS rallied after positive iDose TR commentary eased concerns over proposed Medicare coverage restrictions.GKOS reported $54M in first-quarter iDose TR sales and expects sequential growth in the second quarter.Glaukos is expanding with Epioxa adoption and a broad ophthalmology pipeline supporting long-term growth. Shares of Glaukos (GKOS - Free Report) have surged 45.7% since the end of May. The stock has outpaced the industry’s 4% gain and the S&P 500 Index’s 0.9% decline.

GKOS stock witnessed a sharp rally after the company announced better-than-expected first-quarter top and bottom-line figures on April 29. However, the stock pared all its gains in May amid uncertainty surrounding the proposed Local Coverage Determination (LCD) for its glaucoma therapy, iDose TR, by Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs).

The MACs have proposed providing coverage for iDose only to patients who have failed both selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) and two topical medications. The proposal also restricts the concurrent use of iDose TR with minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) procedures and limits re-administration of iDose TR to once every two years. These proposed restrictions could hurt the drug's commercial prospects.

However, Glaukos management seemed confident about receiving an exclusion or modification on some or all of these restrictions in the final LCD draft, while presenting at several investor conferences held during the end of May or early June. The company is focusing on promoting iDose TR as first-line treatment for ocular hypertension.

One-Month Performance

GKOS management also stated that the market opportunity for iDose TR remains significant despite the proposed restrictions, driven by the rising number of glaucoma cases, and reaffirmed its guidance for 2026 and 2027. The company also believes that many patients are ineligible for SLTs or topical medications or both. GKOS is conducting a phase 4 study to evaluate the use of iDose TR with MIGS procedure, which has demonstrated promising results so far.

Several analysts also believe that the proposed restrictions for iDose TR in the proposed LCDs will have a minimal impact on its sales going forward. They expect a sizable pool of patients who have undergone selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) over the past decade to remain eligible for iDose TR.

The recent rally in Glaukos shares can be primarily attributed to investor enthusiasm following the positive commentary on iDose TR.  The company recorded $54 million in iDose TR sales during the first quarter of 2026. GKOS expects sales of the therapy to grow sequentially in the second quarter as well.

Other Factors Supporting the Rally

Rising Epioxa Adoption:Apart from iDose TR, Epioxa is emerging as Glaukos' next major growth engine, with management reporting an encouraging commercial launch despite being in its earliest phase. The company has rapidly built a treatment network covering nearly 65% of the U.S. population, with visibility to expand coverage to roughly 95%.

Reimbursement momentum is strengthening, supported by access pathways covering more than 100 million commercial lives. The drug is covered by four of the five largest U.S. payers and received a permanent J-code effective July 2026. Combined with direct-to-consumer awareness campaigns and physician education initiatives, these developments position Epioxa to meaningfully expand the underpenetrated keratoconus treatment market over time.

Strong Pipeline:Glaukos continues to differentiate itself through one of ophthalmology's broadest innovation pipelines, with 13 publicly disclosed programs spanning glaucoma, corneal disorders, retinal diseases and ocular surface therapies. Beyond commercial products like iDose TR and Epioxa, the company is advancing iDose TREX, iStent infinite for earlier-stage glaucoma, and PRESERFLO MicroShunt, iLution for Demodex blepharitis.

The company plans to initiate studies on next-generation iLink technologies and a keratoconus screening device later this year. Management also highlighted promising early-stage retinal assets and multiple Phase 4 studies that could expand reimbursement, strengthen clinical evidence and create additional label-expansion opportunities, supporting sustainable long-term growth beyond its current revenue drivers.

Key Challenges

Despite strong execution, Glaukos faces several operational challenges that could moderate near-term growth. Apart from uncertainty surrounding iDose TR LCDs, Epioxa's launch remains constrained by reimbursement complexity until the permanent J-code becomes fully operational, resulting in temporary claims-processing delays and slower physician adoption.

The company also expects international glaucoma growth to decelerate due to increasing competitive product launches and fading foreign-exchange tailwinds. Furthermore, management plans to accelerate investments in commercial infrastructure, patient awareness and direct-to-consumer initiatives, which will keep operating expenses elevated and delay margin expansion.

In addition, successful commercialization depends on increasing keratoconus diagnosis rates and expanding physician adoption, requiring sustained investment in education, payer engagement and market development before Epioxa can fully realize its long-term billion-dollar revenue potential.

Denali rostla po schválení Avlayah a prodeji voucheru
DNLI Denali Therapeutics
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Key Takeaways Denali gained 59.4% YTD as Avlayah approval marked its shift to a commercial-stage company.DNLI will receive $195 million from selling its Rare Pediatric Disease Priority Review Voucher.DNLI regained full rights to DNL593 after Takeda ended the partnership for strategic reasons. Denali Therapeutics, Inc. (DNLI - Free Report) has put up a stupendous year-to-date performance. Shares of the company have surged 59.4% year to date compared with the industry’s growth of 5.9%. The stock has outperformed the sector and the S&P 500 Index during this time frame.

The rally is largely attributed to investor optimism surrounding FDA approval of its lead drug, Avlayah, for the treatment of Hunter syndrome, as well as other regulatory updates.

DNLI Outperforms Industry, Sector & S&P 500 Index

While the approval serves as a major catalyst, a deeper assessment of the company's growth drivers and potential risks will be essential to determine whether current levels represent an attractive entry point.

Avlayah Approval Positions DNLI for Long-Term UpsideAvlayah is an enzyme replacement therapy indicated for pediatric patients with Hunter syndrome (MPS II), targeting neurological symptoms when initiated early.

Developed by Denali, Avlayah is enabled by its TransportVehicle platform, which facilitates delivery of biologics throughout the body, including the brain.

Approval was based on strong biomarker data, showing a 91% reduction in cerebrospinal fluid heparan sulfate levels, a key disease marker.

This accelerated approval is particularly noteworthy as it introduces the first new therapeutic option for this rare disorder in nearly two decades. The continued approval for this indication may be contingent upon verification of clinical benefit in a confirmatory study.

Denali’s ongoing global phase II/III COMPASS study is expected to provide confirmatory data and support regulatory filings for tividenofusp alfa-eknm worldwide, including in young adult patients with Hunter syndrome.

The approval came with a Rare Pediatric Disease Priority Review Voucher (“PRV”).

Last month, DNLI entered into a definitive agreement to sell its PRV, which is expected to generate gross proceeds of $195 million.

The added financial flexibility will help advance Denali’s broad TransportVehicle-enabled clinical portfolio for lysosomal storage disorders and neurodegenerative diseases.

DNLI’s Other Pipeline CandidatesDenali's clinical-stage portfolio includes DNL126 for Sanfilippo syndrome type A (MPS IIIA), DNL593 for GRN-related frontotemporal dementia, DNL952 for Pompe disease and DNL628 for Alzheimer's disease.

Denali is also advancing several early-stage pipeline candidates, including DNL921 for Alzheimer's disease, DNL111 for Parkinson’s and Gaucher diseases, DNL622 for Hurler syndrome (MPS I), and DNL422 (OTV) for Parkinson’s disease.

Denali has also collaborated with other pharma and biotech giants like Sanofi (SNY - Free Report) , Biogen (BIIB - Free Report) and Takeda (TAK - Free Report) to develop other candidates.

In May 2026, Denali and partner Biogen announced disappointing top-line results from a mid-stage study evaluating BIIB122 (DNL151) in individuals with early-stage Parkinson’s disease. The study did not meet its primary or secondary endpoints.

Biogen and Denali have discontinued the development of BIIB122 in idiopathic Parkinson’s disease.

Nonetheless, Denali will continue to independently advance the phase IIa BEACON study evaluating the small-molecule inhibitor in patients carrying pathogenic LRRK2 variants.

Partner Sanofi is developing eclitasertib for moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis.

In April 2026, Denali announced that partner Takeda decided to terminate their collaboration for DNL593 (PTV:PGRN) in frontotemporal dementia associated with GRN mutations (FTD-GRN).

The termination returns full rights to the program to Denali. According to DNLI, Takeda's decision was driven by strategic priorities rather than any efficacy or safety concerns.

However, Takeda’s exit may raise concerns. Even though the decision was not tied to safety or efficacy, the loss of a large pharma partner removes external validation and shared financial burden.

Denali’s Valuation and EstimatesGoing by the price/book ratio, DNLI’s shares currently trade at 4.51X, higher than its mean of 3.02X for the industry and the industry’s mean of 3.64X.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for 2026 loss per share has narrowed to $2.77 from $2.90 over the past 60 days, while that for 2027 loss has narrowed to $2.53 from $2.69 in the same time frame.

Invest in DNLI Stock NowThe approval of Avlayah represents Denali’s transition into a commercial-stage company and a potential inflection point in its long-term growth trajectory. As its first marketed product, Avlayah introduces a new revenue stream, though the pace and scale of commercialization will be critical in determining its ultimate financial impact.

Beyond near-term revenues, the approval also validates Denali’s proprietary TransportVehicle platform, which is designed to enable biologic therapies to cross the blood-brain barrier — an area that has historically posed significant challenges.

On the financial front, Denali appears well capitalized, ending the first quarter with approximately $1.05 billion in cash and investments. This provides sufficient runway to support ongoing clinical development and strategic initiatives. Narrowing loss estimates indicate improving investor sentiment and a clearer path toward operational leverage.

The sale of PRV provides a significant non-dilutive capital infusion, strengthening the company’s balance sheet without requiring an equity raise.

We remain bullish on the stock's prospects and believe it offers additional upside potential. Accordingly, we view the shares favorably for prospective investors, while existing shareholders may consider maintaining their positions to capitalize on further growth opportunities.

Viavi zvedla provozní marži díky růstu NSE a OSP
VIAV Viavi Solutions
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Key Takeaways VIAV lifted non-GAAP operating margin to 21% as NSE and OSP revenue posted strong year-over-year growth.VIAV expects operating margin to reach 22.7% in the fourth quarter, up from 21% in the third quarter.VIAV's earnings estimates for 2026 were unchanged, while 2027 estimates improved over the past 60 days. Viavi Solutions, Inc. (VIAV - Free Report) reported a non-GAAP operating income of $85.5 million, up from $47.7 million a year ago quarter. Non-GAAP operating margin was 21%, up from 16.7% a year ago.

The improvement in operating margin is driven by multiple factors, including strong growth in the Network and Service Enablement segment (NSE) and Optical Security and Performance Products (OSP). In the third quarter of fiscal 2026, the NSE segment generated $321.5 million in revenues, up 54.4% year over year. The segment accounted for 79% of total revenues. Acquisition of Spirent product lines and strong demand across lab, production and field products, mainly from the data center ecosystem and aerospace & defense sectors, drove solid sales growth in this segment. The OSP segment revenues were $85.3 million, up 11.4% year over year, driven by strong demand for 3D Sensing and anti-counterfeiting.

Higher revenue is allowing fixed costs to be spread across a larger sales base. This is resulting in a significant operating leverage. Every incremental dollar of NSE revenue contributes roughly 40-45 cents to operating income, reflecting a highly scalable cost structure. Increasing mix, AI infrastructure and data center business, backed by hyperscalers’ demand, investment by optical module vendors and semiconductor companies will likely drive operating margin in the coming quarters. In the fourth quarter, Viavi expects its operating margin to reach 22.7%, up from 21% in the third quarter.

Other Tech Firms With Strong Margin ExpansionSanmina Corporation (SANM - Free Report) reported a non-GAAP operating profit of $257 million in the second quarter of 2026, up from $111 million a year ago. Non-GAAP operating margin improved to 6.4% from 5.6%. The 131.5% increase year over year and an 80-basis point operating margin expansion are driven by a multitude of factors. The ZT system, which performed significantly better than expected, was one of the biggest contributors. Strong customer demand for accelerated compute systems and earlier-than-expected shipments supported Sanmina’s profitability. Sanmina’s revenues surged 102.3% year over year to $4.01 billion. Revenue growth significantly outpaced the increase in operating expenses. Disciplined cost management was also a key contributor in this regard.

HubSpot. Inc. (HUBS - Free Report) generated a non-GAAP operating income of $156.8 million, up from $100.3 million in the prior-year quarter, with margin expanding 380 basis points year over year to 17.8%. Higher revenues and operating discipline helped offset increased investments in research, AI innovation and sales initiatives. HubSpot continues to witness rising adoption among larger customers as businesses consolidate marketing, sales and service workflows on a unified AI-enabled platform. During the first quarter of 2026, deals above $60,000 in annual recurring revenues increased 37% year over year, while deals above $120,000 ARR rose 64%. HubSpot’s AI strategy is increasingly contributing to customer engagement and monetization.

VIAV’s Price Performance, Valuation and EstimatesViavi has gained 290.8% in the past year compared with the Electronics - Measuring Instruments industry’s growth of 287%.

Sterling Infrastructure těží z boomu AI datových center
STRL Sterling Construction Company
FMP Stock News 72
Original source text
The AI infrastructure boom is still in its early days. Alphabet (GOOG 2.04%) (GOOGL 1.89%) has initiated an $84.75 billion equity capital raise "to expand AI infrastructure and compute," while Amazon (AMZN 1.23%) more recently issued over $25 billion in corporate bonds for AI investments.

All that money has to go somewhere, and some of it can flow into Sterling Infrastructure's (STRL 2.03%) coffers. The construction company has turned into a top AI data center builder, and as demand for those facilities rises, Sterling Infrastructure will continue to build on its backlog.

The e-infrastructure opportunity Sterling Infrastructure is a site development specialist for residential and commercial properties. It also helps with transportation infrastructure, which includes highways, roads, and bridges. Those parts of the business had moderate growth in the first quarter, but they were completely overshadowed by e-infrastructure.

Today's Change

(

-2.03

%) $

-13.68

Current Price

$

660.71

That's the part of the business that's focused on AI data centers, e-commerce warehouses, and advanced manufacturing facilities. Its revenue was up by 174% year over year in the quarter, and a $5.15 billion backlog offers clear revenue visibility for multiple years. Sterling Infrastructure was recently awarded a contract to develop a large, multi-year semiconductor fabrication campus. The company has secured the initial developmental phase of that project and could end up building the entire facility.

AI infrastructure demand won't be slowing down anytime soon. Alphabet and Amazon are going deep into their pockets and raising capital to build more sites and buy key components that enable AI technology. E-infrastructure has served as a major catalyst, and if its revenue continues to accelerate, overall sales will go up with it.

Assessing the 30% drop Although Sterling Infrastructure enjoys solid fundamentals and AI spending continues to climb, the stock is down by more than 30% from all-time highs. Furthermore, it's down by more than 20% over the past month. This isn't a Sterling Infrastructure problem, since many AI stocks have endured sharp corrections over the past month.

Even Micron (MU +0.93%) wasn't safe. More than quadrupling revenue year over year wasn't enough for the company to avoid a 20% downturn in less than two weeks.

The fact that many AI stocks and tech companies are in the middle of corrections indicates that Sterling Infrastructure is not suffering from company-specific issues. Its fundamentals are improving despite the sell-off, and investors will soon pick up on that opportunity.

Sterling Infrastructure's full-year revenue projections also point to meaningful expansion. It's expected to reach $3.75 billion in total revenue at the midpoint, which represents a 50.6% year-over-year growth rate from the $2.49 billion in total revenue in full-year 2025.

While some investors are cashing out, others can benefit by investing in the dip and capitalizing on long-term AI tailwinds at a discount.

Marc Guberti has no position in any of the stocks mentioned. The Motley Fool has positions in and recommends Alphabet, Amazon, Micron Technology, and Sterling Infrastructure. The Motley Fool has a disclosure policy.

UBS čeká pokles srovnatelných tržeb Domino's Pizza v USA
DPZ Domino’s Pizza
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Domino's Pizza Inc (NYSE:DPZ) is expected to report weaker-than-expected US same-store sales for the second quarter as macroeconomic pressures, elevated promotional activity across the pizza category and tougher year-over-year comparisons weigh on performance, according to UBS.

Ahead of the company's July 20 earnings report, the brokerage wrote that investors are likely to focus on current and planned sales initiatives, as well as management's outlook for sales in the second half of the year.

UBS forecasts US same-store sales will decline 1.5% in the second quarter, compared with Wall Street consensus expectations for 0.3% growth. The analysts wrote that softer consumer spending and heightened promotional competition are likely to offset benefits from value offers, marketing investments, the company's loyalty program and third-party delivery partnerships.

The firm expects management to highlight initiatives aimed at improving sales momentum, including continued value promotions, further growth through DoorDash, enhancements to Domino's app and loyalty platform, increased marketing and new menu offerings.

UBS also expects the company to discuss product innovation, including new sauces, expanded chicken options and additional crust platforms following the launch of Parmesan Stuffed Crust. The analysts added that store closures among competitors could help Domino's expand its market share over time.

While UBS continues to view Domino's as well-positioned for longer-term market share gains and global expansion, it sees risks to the company's current 2026 guidance.

UBS wrote that it sees downside risk to the company's current 2026 guidance, including low-single-digit growth in US and international same-store sales and mid- to high-single-digit operating income growth, excluding foreign exchange effects and the benefit of a 53rd week.

Outside the US, UBS forecasts global net store growth of 4.6% in the second quarter, in line with consensus estimates, including 31 net new stores in the US and 165 internationally. The analysts noted that global expansion outside Domino's Pizza Enterprises remains a relative strength, supported by attractive franchise economics, strong franchisee profitability, competitor closures and contributions from key international markets.

UBS added that investors are also likely to focus on Domino's Pizza Enterprises, including the arrival of its new chief executive in August, management's confidence in its turnaround strategy and potential portfolio changes to improve performance.

The firm maintained its $375 price target, saying Domino's valuation appears near a support level despite ongoing macroeconomic uncertainty, with longer-term upside supported by the company's potential to gain market share and accelerate sales growth through its strategic initiatives.

Shares of Domino’s traded hands at $305 on Wednesday afternoon.

SanDisk hlásí rekordní tržby a růst v datových centrech
SNDK Sandisk
FMP Stock News 72
Original source text
This post may contain links from our sponsors and affiliates, and Flywheel Publishing may receive compensation for actions taken through them.

SanDisk (NASDAQ:SNDK | SNDK Price Prediction | SNDK Price Prediction) has become the strangest stock in the S&P 500. Shares are up 634.87% year to date, dwarfing the 67.8% gain on the VanEck Semiconductor ETF. Behind the move is a genuine business transformation.

Q3 FY26 revenue hit $5.95 billion, up 251.03% year over year, with datacenter revenue exploding 645%. CEO David Goeckeler called it “a fundamental inflection point for Sandisk”. Can SanDisk shares reach $2,500 by 2027? There is a real path, but it is not a straight line.

Why SanDisk Shares Have Stalled This Summer The stock is down 14.92% over the past week despite being up 11.87% over one month.

Two factors are at play. First, a broader semiconductor sell-off tied to South Korean semiconductor weakness jolted the group in late June. Second, investors are booking profits after one of the sharpest rallies in memory-chip history.

Alpha Vantage flagged “SanDisk Slides as Chip Sell-Off Jolts Investors” and questioned whether the name is overbought at a trailing P/E of 60. Beta sits at 1, but realized volatility is much higher given the 52-week range from $40.10 to $2,354.39. That disconnect is keeping shares stuck.

Wall Street Sees Upside. Our Model Wants Proof The Street is decisively bullish. The consensus 12-month target is $1,930.50, with 3 Strong Buys, 15 Buys, 3 Holds, and 1 Sell. Bulls have gone further: Bernstein moved to $3,000 and China Renaissance reached $3,169. Our model is more cautious.

The one-year base case sits at $1,642.21, a total return of -5.86% with 90% confidence, driven by a mega-cap dampening factor. The bull case reaches $2,417.53. Earnings growth is contributing positively to the 247Factor, and 82% of analysts are bullish. That is a meaningful signal.

The Path to $2,500 Per Share Reaching $2,500 from today’s price of $1,744.43 would require a 43.3% gain. With forward EPS of $32.68, a price of $2,500 implies a forward P/E of 77x. Our base case of $1,642.21 already implies 56x, meaning the bold target requires roughly 20x of additional multiple expansion.

The same investor newsletter that told subscribers to buy Amazon in 2002, Netflix in 2004, and Nvidia in 2005 still publishes two new stock picks every month. Over 23 years, Motley Fool's Stock Advisor has more than quadrupled the S&P 500. New members get this month's picks, the Top 10 Rankings, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Click here to unlock their next top stocks while new members are still being accepted.

That is steep. But three things could get it done. Q4 FY26 guidance calls for revenue of $7.75B to $8.25B and non-GAAP EPS of $30 to $33. If those numbers hit, forward EPS will re-rate sharply higher and the implied multiple compresses.

Second, the New Business Model is real. Goeckeler said multi-year customer commitments are “driving structurally higher and more durable earnings power”.

Third, on July 3, 2026, SanDisk began sampling BiCS10 1Tb TLC 3D NAND with a 59% improvement in bit density, positioning the company inside the AI memory buildout. A resurgence of the sector sell-off is the primary risk.

Where SanDisk Trades Today Versus Its Earnings Power At $1,744.43, shares trade at a forward P/E of roughly 53x on $32.68 forward EPS. That is not cheap, but not absurd for a company printing 78.4% gross margins with a zero-debt balance sheet and $2.99 billion in quarterly free cash flow.

Shares sit 18% below the 52-week high, well within reach on any renewed NAND cycle. Since separating from Western Digital, SNDK has rallied over 3,489%. That history sets a wide range of possible outcomes.

Is $2,500 Realistic? Here’s My Take Getting SanDisk to $2,500 by 2027 requires a 43.3% gain from here. I think that is a stretch, but not a long shot.

Three things need to go right: Q4 EPS lands at the high end of guidance near $33, the New Business Model contracts continue accumulating, and the structural memory undersupply extends through 2027 as Bank of America expects. A pricing crack in NAND would derail it fast. We’ve outlined the blueprint for how SanDisk could reach $2,500 in 2027.

Zeta Global zvýšila tržby o 50 %, marže jsou pod tlakem
ZETA Zeta Global Holdings
FMP Stock News 78

Key Takeaways ZETA's 2026 outlook hinges on AI platform growth and margins pressured by agency-led social activity.Revenues rose 50% in Q1 2026, with nine of its top 10 industries growing more than 20%.Athena usage expanded as agentic interactions rose more than sevenfold in the first week. Zeta Global Holdings Corp. (ZETA - Free Report) is entering the rest of 2026 with a clear growth story and a less settled margin story. Its AI-powered marketing platform is gaining traction as enterprises consolidate vendors.

That matters because usage, revenue and platform depth are improving together. The question is whether Zeta can turn those gains into steadier profitability as agency-led business ramps through higher-cost channels.

What is Driving ZETA Growth Now?Zeta’s growth signals remain broad-based. Revenues increased 50% year over year in the first quarter of 2026, with nine of its top 10 industries growing more than 20%. Its sales pipeline expanded roughly 40%.

The demand profile points to enterprise consolidation rather than a narrow product cycle. Customers are using Zeta across email, connected TV, mobile and social as they seek fewer vendors, faster execution and clearer performance measurement.

The Trade Desk, Inc. (TTD - Free Report) offers a useful comparison of digital advertising platforms, while LiveRamp Holdings, Inc. (RAMP - Free Report) fits the discussion because data collaboration and identity remain central to marketing technology workflows.

How Zeta is Building Deeper Platform UseAthena is becoming more than a feature layered onto the existing platform. Zeta made Athena generally available to all enterprise customers in the first quarter of 2026, and agentic interactions rose more than sevenfold in the first week.

The usage data suggest customers are expanding within the platform. Super-scaled average revenue per user rose 21% year over year to $1.7 million, while multi-use-case customers increased more than 50% and customers using more than three channels rose roughly 40%.

That pattern supports the view that platform depth and customer lifetime value may be improving together. If customers automate more workflows across acquire, grow and retain use cases, Athena could help widen deal sizes, although 2026 guidance assumes minimal contribution.

Why ZETA Margins Face Near-Term PressureThe margin debate is the main offset to the growth case. In the first quarter of 2026, GAAP cost of revenue rose to 41% as new agency wins initially ramped through social channels, a mix with less favorable gross economics.

Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization margin was 16.7%, down 100 basis points year over year. That decline came even as adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization increased 42%.

Management expects social-led agency activity to become accretive to adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization and free cash flow as spending shifts into Zeta-owned channels. If onboarding remains weighted toward social, margins could lag expectations into the early second half of 2026.

What Recent Zeta News Means for InvestorsOn June 23, 2026, Zeta and Palantir announced a partnership to create an AI infrastructure layer connecting operational intelligence, customer intelligence and marketing execution.

Zeta also expanded Athena to agencies on June 18, 2026, with Athena for Insights and Measurement available in beta to agency partners. That could broaden distribution, although conversion into paid deployments remains an execution item.

The company’s participation in Snowflake-led Open Semantic Interchange adds another layer to the strategy. The initiative aims to improve interoperability across AI and analytics tools, which could reduce integration friction for enterprise customers.

How ZETA Signals Fit the ThesisZeta’s business setup looks promising, but the stock still carries execution risk. Growth is broad, Athena usage is rising and recent partnerships may improve distribution and interoperability, yet margins remain a near-term constraint.

ZETA currently carries a Zacks Rank #4 (Sell), reflecting weak earnings estimate revision trends over the next 1 to 3 months. That rank tempers the appeal of operating momentum, especially with the current-year earnings estimate down 1.1% over the past four weeks.

The Style Scores show a split picture. ZETA has a Growth Score of A, reflecting favorable growth characteristics, but a Momentum Score of F, indicating weak timing characteristics. Its Value Score of D limits the valuation argument, while the VGM Score of B supports a better combined profile.

For investors, the signal is not one-sided. The business story supports continued attention, but the Zacks Rank and weaker Momentum Score suggest patience may be warranted until margin execution and estimate revisions improve.

ZETA currently carries a Zacks Rank #4 (Sell).

Meta přidává ochranu brýlí, obavy o soukromí trvají
FB Meta Platforms
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Meta’s AI glasses have a growing reputation as a creepy technology. The company hopes to change that opinion by announcing an update that will disable the camera if the LED light that indicates the glasses are recording has been tampered with.

The move is seemingly a concession to consumer sentiment that the glasses aren’t just fun, fashionable accessories, happily promoted by Kylie Jenner, but have serious implications for consumer privacy: They can be abused as surveillance devices.

Yet, even as Meta touts the new safeguard this week, the company is also pushing products and features that ask users to surrender more of their privacy to the company.

Whether that’s training its AI on your images, enabling AI features using your personal content unless you opt out, or exploring ways to continuously record or use biometric facial recognition, Meta’s vision of the future seems to always depend on collecting more of your personal data.

In its blog post about the new camera safety feature, the company pats itself on the back, noting that “no other kind of camera has done this and we’re proud to lead the industry effort.” However, Meta also admits that the move was necessary because some people had been using tape to cover the LED light, which had already forced Meta to adapt its tech to disable recording when the LED is blocked.

Determined, those same AI glasses creeps would then use “sophisticated efforts to modify or destroy the capture LED,” Meta’s announcement explains.

In other words, Meta is confirming that some people who use AI glasses have hidden agendas — namely a desire to record situations or people (often women) without their consent.

Despite this, the company is reportedly testing a prototype of AI glasses that would “continuously collect audio while taking photos every few seconds,” sources recently told Financial Times.

Meta’s blog post about the glasses feature attempts to assuage people’s fears about the devices’ privacy by answering questions like “who can see the photos and videos I take on my glasses?” Meta answers by promising, “You, and only you — unless you choose to share them.” Yet, Meta’s privacy policy has explained that any image you share with Meta AI can be used to train its AI.

Image Credits:Meta (screenshot of privacy policy on July 8, 2026) All the while, the company is facing multiple investigations and lawsuits over Meta AI glasses privacy violations. One lawsuit comes after Meta notably canceled a contract with an outsourced tech firm after some of its Kenyan workers alleged they had to view graphic content, like sex, nudity, and people using the toilet, while training Meta’s AI using people’s Meta AI glasses’ videos.

These are hardly Meta’s first scrapes with privacy violations or safety measures, either.

Arguably, Meta’s reputation on privacy has been tainted for years after numerous leaks and lost lawsuits about its alleged lack of child safety measures and desire for growth at all costs. There are books by whistleblowers documenting its alleged abuses, not to mention previous large-scale privacy disasters, like the Cambridge Analytica data scandal and others.

After the 2018 Cambridge Analytica scandal, Meta now insists on its Privacy Progress Update page, “Since 2019, we’ve invested significantly in people, products, and technology to continue to evolve our rigorous privacy program.”

Still, the company plows forward with what many people would consider privacy-violating ideas. Case in point: On the same day it announced the Meta glasses’ new safeguard, it shared that Meta AI can now use anyone’s public Instagram photos to make AI images, unless you opt out.

It also built features to use Meta AI on images in your Camera Roll you’ve never shared and implemented such poor privacy controls in its Meta AI app, leading users to essentially dox themselves by revealing their embarrassing searches.

This is the same company that Apple wouldn’t partner with due to privacy concerns, that records its employees’ keystrokes to train its AI, and that plans to sell targeted ads based on data in your AI chats.

So, while an LED safeguard on AI glasses might be a necessary feature, consumers clearly still have many reasons to remain distrustful of how social media will use their images and data, especially in its broader AI plans.

Tesla klesá kvůli sázkám na AI
TSLA Tesla
FMP Stock News 72
Original source text
Tesla stock (TSLA) fell on Wednesday as investors continued to look past the electric-vehicle maker's core automotive business and instead focused on the company's long-term artificial intelligence ambitions.

Shares were down 2.2% at $393.91 in midday trading after falling 4% on Tuesday.

The S&P 500 declined 0.8%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 1.5%.

AI remains the primary focus for investorsDespite reporting stronger-than-expected second-quarter deliveries earlier this month, Tesla's shares have remained under pressure.

The company recently reported stronger-than-expected second-quarter deliveries, selling about 480,000 vehicles worldwide, roughly 70,000 more than Wall Street had projected and 25% higher than a year earlier.

Even so, Tesla shares have declined since the delivery report and remain down about 10% for the year.

Investors continue to place greater emphasis on Tesla's long-term AI strategy, particularly the expansion of its robotaxi network and development of its Optimus humanoid robot.

Tesla launched its AI-trained robotaxi service in Austin about a year ago and now operates across three states.

Investors are waiting for the autonomous ride-hailing business to begin generating meaningful revenue and earnings.

The company is also developing the third generation of its Optimus humanoid robot, another project viewed as central to Tesla's long-term growth story.

For many investors, progress in robotaxis and robotics is expected to have a greater impact on Tesla's valuation than incremental improvements in vehicle sales.

Separately, JPMorgan analyst Rajat Gupta said on Tuesday that a potential merger between Tesla and SpaceX appears "strategically coherent on paper" but would face significant regulatory and governance challenges.

According to Gupta, combining the two Elon Musk-led companies would unify leadership across businesses spanning artificial intelligence, robotics, transportation, energy, and space, while leveraging shared assets such as the Terafab semiconductor facility.

The analyst noted that SpaceX recently completed a record initial public offering that raised approximately $85 billion at $135 per share, valuing the company at around $2 trillion. Tesla's market capitalization is approximately $1.25 trillion.

Gupta said SpaceX's public listing provides valuable acquisition currency but identified several obstacles to any potential transaction.

He cited China as a major regulatory challenge because of SpaceX's US government and defense contracts alongside Tesla's extensive manufacturing operations in the country.

The analyst also highlighted governance concerns, noting that Musk controls roughly 85% of SpaceX's voting power but about 20% of Tesla's, potentially complicating any merger and raising dilution concerns for Tesla shareholders.

Gupta added that the size difference between the two companies could make the transaction resemble a SpaceX acquisition of Tesla rather than a merger of equals.

Even without a formal combination, the analyst said operational ties between the companies are already extensive through shared engineering talent, artificial intelligence infrastructure, and the Terafab facility in Texas.

Tesla překonala odhady dodávek a spustila robotaxi v Miami
TSLA Tesla
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Tesla (TSLA 2.93%) stock is down about 7% on the year and off more than 15% from its 52-week high, as of this writing. However, things could be looking up after a dose of good news to start the month.

First, the company announced that it had delivered 480,126 vehicles in the second quarter. This was well above the 406,000 deliveries expected by analysts, as compiled by StreetAccounts. That was also much higher than the approximately 384,000 vehicles it delivered in Q2 of last year. The outperformance appears to be largely driven by Europe, with Deutsche Bank forecasting a 40% increase in the region during the quarter. Cox Automotive, meanwhile, estimated that U.S. deliveries dropped 20%.

After the Fourth of July holiday weekend, Tesla announced on social media platform X that its robotaxi services were now available in Miami. According to Electrek, these services are only available in a small zone, with no service in areas like downtown Miami, the airport, and most of Miami-Dade County.

The improvement in deliveries is good news for Tesla, as its primary electric vehicle business has been struggling. However, it is still facing headwinds in the U.S. (loss of the federal EV tax credit) and in China (fierce competition), and the uptick in Europe could have stemmed largely from higher gas prices following the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Because of this, there is no guarantee that this uptick is sustainable, and it may be more of a one-off pickup in demand.

Meanwhile, much of Tesla's valuation is still tied to its robotaxi ambitions. While it is encouraging that the company is expanding beyond Austin, the area it is operating in around the Miami area is still very geofenced. At the same time, the company's operations in Austin remain a work in progress, with Electrek reporting that it only has around 14 unsupervised robotaxis in operation, down from a peak of 25 vehicles.

The reason for the slow expansion appears to be safety concerns. The NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) has reported several crashes, while independent data points to Tesla's robotaxis having a crash rate almost four times that of human drivers. While Tesla's camera-only tech is cheaper and would give it a cost advantage, its safety record is worse than the records of competitors, such as Alphabet's Waymo, that use lidar.

With the stock trading at a forward price-to-earnings of nearly 200 times and still struggling with its robotaxi ambitions, I'd stay on the sidelines. However, I think a potential acquisition by SpaceX likely limits some of the downside in the stock.

Coca-Cola čeká růst tržeb i upraveného EPS
KO Coca-Cola
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
These are bubbly days for Coca-Cola (KO 0.26%). Shares of the pop star hit another all-time high this week. With a carbonated stock chart, this might seem to be the worst time to warm up to the chilly refreshment provider. It's not.

From the syrupy sweet cadence of dividend hikes to what should be another modest earnings beat later this month, Coca-Cola has earned its upticks. With its generational appeal across a broad range of beverage categories, this could be a great month to consider owning a piece of this iconic brand. Let's take a closer look at some of the reasons why Coca-Cola is worth buying, even with the stock trading higher than ever right now.

1. It's a recession-resistant winner This is an interesting time to be in the market. Investors woke up on Wednesday to news that the ceasefire in Iran has been called off, sending crude oil prices higher and stock prices -- initially -- lower. The possibility of inflationary-battling rate hikes later this year is starting to feel more like a probability. Consumer sentiment is dragging near a historic multi-year low.

It's against this backdrop that Coca-Cola is often at its best. It's a high-margin business doling out a liquid escape for pocket change. The beverage stock provides a creature comfort at an uncomfortable time for market creatures.

Coca-Cola doesn't deliver monster growth. The stock isn't cheap. However, what it consistently pours out is stability. Its five-year beta of 0.35 implies that Coca-Cola has had a little more than a third of the volatility of the general market over the past several years. Zoom in, and its one-year beta is roughly zero. Coca-Cola marches to its own sugary beat. If you're worried about the market right now, a perpetual low-beta name could be a thirst quencher for your portfolio.

2. Dividend, we stan Coca-Cola stock is a money machine. All it does is sell high-margin syrup and bottling rights to local distributions that bear the grunt work of production and fulfillment. Its trailing net margin of 27.8% -- meaning that nearly $0.28 of every dollar in revenue makes it to the bottom line after taxes -- is at a 15-year high.

Longtime investors know about the timeless, perpetual growth of Coca-Cola, even if they aren't as avid followers of its financials as you and I. They see it in their quarterly dividend checks, which keep getting higher with every passing year.

Coca-Cola's current yield of 2.5% might not compete with a high-yielding money market fund, but it's almost certain to keep increasing over time. Coca-Cola has delivered 64 consecutive years of hikes, one of just dozens of Dividend King stocks. These aren't tiny hikes, either. Coca-Cola's dividend rate has more than doubled over the past 14 years.

3. And the beats keep coming If you need one final reason to own Coca-Cola this month, you may want to circle July 28 on your calendar. Coca-Cola will announce its second-quarter results that morning. Earnings season is often a time for investors to brace for volatility, but it's already established that Coca-Cola -- while not a risk-free investment -- has historically been less volatile than the market.

Coca-Cola's full-year guidance announced back in April calls for adjusted organic revenue growth of 4% to 5% for all of 2026. Adjusted earnings per share should clock in slightly higher. Analysts see that playing out in the second quarter later this month, with revenue rising 4% to $13.1 billion and adjusted earnings per share climbing 7% to $0.93.

It's a fair bet that the bottom line will come in a couple of pennies above that. Just see how reality has consistently exceeded expectations for more than two years.

PeriodEPS EstimateActual EPSSurpriseQ1 2024$0.70$0.723%Q2 2024$0.81$0.844%Q3 2024$0.75$0.773%Q4 2024$0.52$0.556%Q1 2025$0.72$0.732%Q2 2025$0.84$0.874%Q3 2025$0.78$0.825%Q4 2025$0.56$0.583%Q1 2026$0.81$0.866% Data source: Yahoo! Finance. EPS = earnings per share (adjusted).

The beats on the bottom line have been positive but modest. Its latest quarter's beat of 6% may not seem like a lot, but it's a two-year high. It's just one more way that Coca-Cola is consistent heading into what should be a topsy-turvy earnings season for many investors. Coca-Cola's all-weather appeal and a steady beat of dividend hikes every February and earnings beats every quarter should continue to serve shareholders well.

Microsoft propustí 4 800 lidí v divizi Xbox
MSFT Microsoft
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Microsoft (MSFT 1.34%) stock fell after the company announced layoffs in its Xbox unit. Despite double-digit increases in revenue during the third quarter of fiscal 2026 (ended March 31), revenue in its Xbox unit decreased by 5% annually in that quarter, likely drawing attention to that segment.

The restructuring announcement is likely welcome news after the recent drop and could improve the company's financial performance. Nonetheless, investors should probably not expect a dramatic recovery in the tech stock because of this move. Here's why.

Microsoft's ongoing struggles Admittedly, the Xbox unit looks like the obvious target for a restructuring, as it was Microsoft's worst-performing unit. Also, the division that oversees the Xbox unit, "More Personal Computing," reported a 1% annual decrease in revenue in fiscal Q3, even as Microsoft's overall revenue rose by 18% during the quarter.

To get Xbox on track, Microsoft is laying off 4,800 employees, a 2.1% reduction in its overall workforce. Also, four studios will go independent. It is quite possible these moves will stem the revenue declines for both Xbox and More Personal Computing overall.

Moreover, the company's P/E ratio has fallen to 23, just above multiyear lows. That arguably makes it a deep value stock, increasing the odds of a turnaround in Microsoft's stock price.

Unfortunately for investors, the cloud has long driven the growth in Microsoft stock. Since Microsoft Cloud revenue increased by 29% over the last year, one might think the stock should be surging.

However, the earnings report glosses over challenges the company has faced with AI. Like its peers, Microsoft has spent heavily on capital expenditures (capex), allocating over $80 billion in the first nine months of fiscal 2026.

Unfortunately, Microsoft has relied heavily on OpenAI, which has burned cash at an alarming rate. Also, with around 45% of Microsoft's $627 billion backlog tied to OpenAI, Microsoft faces significant uncertainty.

Additionally, adoption of Copilot, Microsoft's AI-powered assistant, has underwhelmed the market with only about 4.7 million paid subscriptions in fiscal Q2, less than the 9 million for ChatGPT. This calls into question whether it can compete with OpenAI or peers such as Anthropic's Claude or Gemini, developed by Google parent Alphabet.

That factor also makes it less likely investors are watching the Xbox unit closely, which could mean the restructuring may go unnoticed.

Expect few changes in Microsoft stock Ultimately, restructuring the Xbox unit is unlikely to help Microsoft's stock.

On the surface, addressing the worst-performing business unit could make its financials appear more sound. Amid the company's falling P/E ratio, such a move should reduce stock losses.

Unfortunately, the company's deepest struggles with Microsoft's stock appear to stem from its AI performance relative to competitors'. Even though its AI adoption has grown, it appears that growth has lagged that of Anthropic or Google. That makes it increasingly likely that Microsoft will need to address that competitive gap for the stock to outperform the market for the foreseeable future.

Nvidia klesla o 16 %, ocenění je nejníže od 2019
NVDA Nvidia
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Despite rising earnings forecasts, investors rotate into other semiconductor stocks while Nvidia's valuation falls below the S&P 500. Summary

Analysts still see over 50% upside despite the valuation reset.

Nvidia NVDA, a major chipmaker whose graphics processing units dominate artificial intelligence data centers, has seen its stock valuation fall to its cheapest level since early 2019 after losing roughly $1 trillion in market value in less than two months. Nvidia shares have declined 16% since reaching an all-time high on May 14, even as the company's GPUs continue to hold a leading position in the AI data center market. The stock is now trading at about 18 times projected earnings over the next 12 months, below the S&P 500 Index at more than 20 times and the Nasdaq 100 Index at almost 23 times, suggesting investors may be reassessing one of the market's most crowded AI trades.

The decline appears less connected to weakening fundamentals and more tied to a rotation within the semiconductor sector. Wall Street analysts have continued raising Nvidia's profit estimates, while investors have shifted attention toward Micron Technology MU, a memory-chip maker benefiting from stronger high-bandwidth memory pricing, as well as Advanced Micro Devices AMD and Intel INTC, competing chipmakers whose shares have doubled or even tripled this year. Nvidia is still expected to deliver the fourth-fastest revenue growth in the S&P 500 SPY this year, but its shares are up only 5.6% in 2026, trailing the S&P 500's 9.6% gain, the Nasdaq 100's 16% rise, and the Philadelphia Stock Exchange Semiconductor Index's 74% jump.

Nvidia's market position still appears strong, with the company holding 97% of the server GPU market at the end of 2025, up from 95% at the end of 2024, according to Bloomberg Intelligence data cited in the source. The company is projected to generate $228 billion in profit on $393 billion in sales in fiscal 2027, which ends Jan. 31, representing expected growth of 90% and 82%, respectively, while its profit estimate has risen 13% over the past three months. Of the 82 analysts tracked by Bloomberg, only three rate the stock a hold and one recommends selling, while the average price target of $302 implies more than 50% potential upside over the next 12 months, leaving investors to weigh whether Nvidia's valuation reset could mark a temporary pause or a deeper shift in AI market leadership.

BofA has helped raise nearly $500 billion in capital for AI-related companies since 2025, accounting for 60% of such fundraising across investment-grade debt, leveraged finance and equity capital markets, according to internal data seen by Reuters.

The second-largest American lender is also eyeing advisory roles on the planned IPOs of OpenAI and Anthropic, according to a second source familiar with the matter.

The move follows its role in SpaceX's blockbuster IPO, where it was a joint bookrunner and led the U.S. retail distribution effort. The rockets-to-AI company led by Elon Musk debuted in June at a valuation of more than $2 trillion after pulling off the ‌world's largest IPO.

OpenAI confidentially filed for a U.S. IPO last month. Reuters has reported that the ChatGPT maker, a key player in the AI race, is targeting a valuation of more than $1 trillion in a listing that could come as soon as this year.

Mega IPOs are typically very lucrative for Wall Street banks, generating hundreds of millions of dollars in fees while opening the door to years of follow-on business.

OpenAI did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for comment. The news of BofA handing the company a credit line was first reported by Bloomberg earlier on Wednesday.

The AI company was founded in 2015 as a research-focused nonprofit, but created a for-profit arm four years later to help fund the soaring costs of developing AI systems.

PayPal čeká 1,5 miliardy USD úspor z AI
PYPL PayPal
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Key Takeaways PayPal expects at least $1.5B in gross run-rate savings through AI and simplification over 2-3 years.PYPL plans to reinvest savings in checkout, Venmo, payment processing and platform modernization.PayPal posted 7% revenue growth and 11% TPV growth, while non-GAAP operating margin narrowed. PayPal Holdings (PYPL - Free Report) is putting artificial intelligence (AI) at the center of its latest reset. In the first quarter of 2026, the company said it expects at least $1.5 billion in gross run-rate savings over the next two to three years through simplification, fewer organizational layers and faster AI adoption.

CEO Enrique Lores framed the effort as more than cost-cutting. On the earnings call, he said PayPal needs to “become a technology company again,” modernize its platform and use AI to improve developer productivity and shorten time to market. The company also created an AI transformation and simplification team reporting directly to him.

Management said the savings will help fund growth areas rather than simply drop to the bottom line. PayPal is now organized around three business models: Checkout Solutions & PayPal, Consumer Financial Services & Venmo and Payment Services & Crypto. The company plans to reinvest savings in checkout, Venmo financial services, payment processing and platform modernization.

The timing is important because PayPal continues to invest even as margins face pressure. First-quarter 2026 revenues rose 7% to $8.35 billion, while non-GAAP operating income fell 5% to $1.54 billion. The non-GAAP operating margin contracted 229 basis points to 18.4% as the company increased spending on technology, product development and marketing.

The operating picture remains mixed. Total payment volume (TPV) grew 11% to $464 billion. However, branded checkout TPV increased only 2% on a currency-neutral basis, while the company’s full-year guidance still calls for non-GAAP EPS growth ranging from a low-single-digit decline to slightly positive.

How Are Intuit & Block Restructuring?Intuit (INTU - Free Report) announced in May 2026 that it would cut about 17% of its full-time workforce, affecting roughly 3,000 employees globally. The company said the restructuring is designed to simplify operations, eliminate overlapping functions and accelerate its AI-first strategy across products like TurboTax, Credit Karma and Mailchimp.

Block (XYZ - Free Report) is pursuing one of the most aggressive efficiency overhauls in fintech. In February 2026, Block’s CEO, Jack Dorsey, announced plans to reduce more than 40% of the company’s workforce as part of an AI-driven restructuring. It said AI tools and automation would replace layers of operational work while improving speed and productivity.

PYPL’s Price Performance, Valuation & EstimatesShares of PayPal have declined 4.5% in the past three months against the broader industry and the S&P 500 Index rise.

From a valuation standpoint, PayPal’s shares are trading cheaply, as suggested by the Value Score of A. In terms of forward 12-month P/E, PYPL stock is trading at 8.24X, which is at a significant discount to the Zacks Financial Transaction Services industry’s 18.17X.

PayPal’s estimate revisions reflect a positive trend. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for full-year 2026 EPS has been revised upward to $5.32 in the past month. The consensus estimate for the metric indicates a year-over-year increase of 0.19%.

Rather than limiting AI to back-office automation, the company is embedding it across insurance, pharmacy, care delivery and technology operations. It aims to simplify healthcare processes, improve user experience and create scalable technology platforms that support future growth.

The investment is already translating into measurable improvements. UnitedHealthcare is expanding AI-powered digital tools for members, while automation is accelerating prior authorization decisions and reducing administrative burden for providers. At Optum Rx, the company's PreCheck Prior Authorization capability cuts prescription approval times from more than eight hours to under 30 seconds. Meanwhile, Optum Health is deploying AI-enabled scheduling and workflow tools to improve access and enhance clinical productivity.

UNH is extending these capabilities beyond its own operations through Optum Insight. Its AI-first solutions help payers and providers automate claims processing, coverage validation and other administrative tasks. The company expects its Optum Real platform to process more than 2.5 billion transactions in 2026, while several AI products are gaining traction among healthcare organizations, creating opportunities beyond traditional insurance operations.

Although the financial benefits will take time to fully materialize, UnitedHealth appears to be pursuing a strategy that extends well beyond cost reduction. By combining AI with its broad healthcare ecosystem, the company is building new technology capabilities that could strengthen customer relationships, expand software revenue opportunities and reinforce its competitive position in an increasingly digital healthcare industry.

How Are Competitors Faring? Some of UNH’s major competitors in the healthcare service provider space are Humana Inc. (HUM - Free Report) and Centene Corporation (CNC - Free Report) .

Humana is expanding AI across care management, prior authorization and member engagement to improve efficiency and health outcomes. HUM is also using predictive analytics to identify high-risk members earlier, supporting value-based care while helping manage medical costs and streamline healthcare delivery.

Centene is primarily using AI to strengthen payment integrity and manage rising healthcare costs. CNC’s advanced analytics help detect suspicious claims, identify billing anomalies and improve medical cost management, supporting margins while enhancing oversight across its government-sponsored healthcare programs.

Campbell potvrdil výhled navzdory poklesu tržeb
CPB Campbell Soup
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
A month has gone by since the last earnings report for Campbell's (CPB - Free Report) . Shares have added about 3.5% in that time frame, outperforming the S&P 500.

Will the recent positive trend continue leading up to its next earnings release, or is Campbell due for a pullback? Before we dive into how investors and analysts have reacted as of late, let's take a quick look at the most recent earnings report in order to get a better handle on the important drivers.

Campbell's Q3 Earnings Surpass Estimates Despite Sales WeaknessThe Campbell's Company reported third-quarter fiscal 2026 results, wherein the bottom line beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate, while sales missed expectations. Both earnings and revenues declined year over year, reflecting continued top-line softness, inflationary pressures and tariff-related costs.

Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) were 50 cents, down 32% year over year due to lower adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT). However, the bottom line surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 48 cents.Net sales of $2,366 million decreased 4% year over year and missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2,387 million. Organic net sales also declined 4%, primarily due to lower volume and unfavorable product mix, partially offset by positive net price realization. The quarter included a modest headwind from the noosa divestiture.

Adjusted gross profit declined 12% to $656 million. Adjusted gross margin contracted 240 basis points (bps) to 27.7%, mainly due to cost inflation, tariffs and other supply-chain costs. These pressures were partly offset by supply-chain productivity improvements, cost-savings initiatives and favorable pricing. Tariffs alone represented a gross margin headwind of about 310 bps during the quarter. Adjusted marketing and selling expenses increased 2% to $211 million, reflecting higher brand-building investments and marketing spending. Adjusted administrative expenses decreased 1% to $149 million due to savings initiatives and lower incentive compensation, partly offset by higher general administrative costs. Adjusted EBIT declined 24% to $274 million, primarily due to lower adjusted gross profit and higher marketing investments. Adjusted EBIT margin contracted 300 bps to 11.6%.

Decoding CPB’s Segmental PerformanceMeals & Beverages: Net sales decreased 4% to $1,426 million. Organic net sales also declined 4% due to an unfavorable volume/mix of 5%, partly offset by 1% favorable net price realization. The segment faced a difficult comparison against strong soup demand in the prior year and a roughly 1% headwind related to shipment timing associated with the Sovos Brands ERP implementation and prior winter-storm delays. U.S. soup sales plunged 8%, though the company continued to benefit from resilient at-home cooking trends and strong performances from Rao’s, Swanson and Pacific Foods. Segment operating earnings fell 16% to $213 million due to inflation, tariffs and lower volume.

Snacks: Net sales declined 4% to $940 million, with organic net sales also down 4%. Volume/mix reduced sales by 6%, partially offset by 2% favorable price realization. Weakness stemmed primarily from salty snacks, crackers, fresh bakery products, third-party partner brands and contract manufacturing sales. Segment operating earnings decreased 32% to $95 million due to elevated inflation, tariffs, supply-chain costs and lower volumes, partly offset by productivity gains, pricing actions and cost savings. Management noted encouraging signs in Snacks, particularly in Goldfish, where core products remained stable for a second consecutive quarter, and in Pepperidge Farm fresh bakery, where service levels and in-stock performance improved. The company has also begun implementing a simplification strategy across its salty snacks portfolio to strengthen performance and profitability.

CPB: Strategic Highlights and Brand PerformanceCampbell’s continued to benefit from durable at-home cooking trends, which supported growth in key cooking-oriented brands. Rao’s remained a standout performer, delivering 15% consumption growth during the quarter, with pasta sauce consumption increasing 13%. Rao’s generated approximately 75% of the total Italian sauce category growth and maintained its leadership position in dollar share across all regions. Subsequent to the end of the quarter, Campbell’s completed its acquisition of a 49% stake in La Regina on May 4, 2026, strengthening its commitment to the Rao’s platform and long-term growth strategy. The company also announced that all leadership brands have successfully transitioned to natural colors ahead of schedule, with the remaining regional Snacks brands expected to complete the transition by July 2026.

CPB’s Other Financial MetricsAt the end of the third quarter, Campbell’s had cash and cash equivalents of $402 million and total debt of $7,010 million. Cash flow from operations for the first nine months of fiscal 2026 totaled $839 million compared with $872 million in the prior-year period. Capital expenditures were $297 million during the period. The company returned $380 million to shareholders year to date, primarily through dividends, while share repurchases totaled $26 million. Campbell’s delivered approximately $20 million in savings during the quarter, bringing cumulative savings to $200 million toward its fiscal 2028 target of $375 million. Management expects these savings to help offset tariff and inflationary pressures while funding investments in growth initiatives.

CPB Reaffirms Fiscal 2026 GuidanceCampbell’s reaffirmed its previously issued fiscal 2026 outlook. The company continues to expect organic net sales to decline 1-2% year over year. Adjusted EBIT is projected to decrease 17-20%, while adjusted EPS is expected in the range of $2.15-$2.25, representing a decline of 23-26% from the adjusted fiscal 2025 base. Management expects low-single-digit core inflation excluding tariffs, productivity benefits equivalent to roughly 5% of cost of products sold, and approximately $70 million in enterprise cost savings for fiscal 2026. The company also anticipates adjusted net interest expense of $320-$325 million and capital expenditures of roughly $370 million. While management acknowledged ongoing consumer and cost pressures, it expressed confidence in the long-term strength of Campbell’s portfolio, the resilience of at-home cooking trends and the progress being made to improve execution and profitability across the Snacks business.

How Have Estimates Been Moving Since Then?It turns out, estimates revision have trended downward during the past month.

The consensus estimate has shifted -8.36% due to these changes.

VGM ScoresAt this time, Campbell has a subpar Growth Score of D, however its Momentum Score is doing a lot better with an A. Following the exact same course, the stock was allocated a grade of A on the value side, putting it in the top 20% for this investment strategy.

Overall, the stock has an aggregate VGM Score of A. If you aren't focused on one strategy, this score is the one you should be interested in.

OutlookEstimates have been broadly trending downward for the stock, and the magnitude of these revisions indicates a downward shift. It's no surprise Campbell has a Zacks Rank #4 (Sell). We expect a below average return from the stock in the next few months.

Palantir zvýšil tržby o 85 % a zvedl výhled
PLTR Palantir Technologies
FMP Stock News 88
Original source text
Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ:PLTR | PLTR Price Prediction) now carries a market capitalization of a little more than $300 billion as of July 3, 2026, which has taken many investors on a nice ride, given the company’s the software-with-a-defense-flavor story. Palantir is now arguing for a seat inside the mega-cap conversation, alongside the AI infrastructure names its own CEO likes to invoke.

What It Means A valuation this size implies specific operational realities, and Palantir’s Q1 2026 filing supplies them. Revenue reached $1.632 billion this past quarter, growing nearly 85% year over year. That’s the highest reported growth rate in the company’s history as a public company. Additionally, the engine of the company (U.S. revenue) climbed 104% year over year to $1.282 billion, crossing 100% growth for the first time since the direct listing. U.S. commercial revenue rose 133% year over year to $595 million.

It’s not only a revenue story. In fact, Palantir’s profitability has closely correlated with its revenue growth. This past quarter, GAAP operating income landed at $754 million, up 328.29% from a year earlier, with the company posting a 46% operating margin. Adjusted operating margin expanded to 60% from 44% a year earlier, and free cash flow reached $924.63 million, up 204.08%. The Rule of 40 score hit 145%, a level the CEO framed as company territory shared only with NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA), Micron (NASDAQ:MU) and SK hynix.

As a result of these numbers, Palantir raised its guidance considerably. The company now guides for full-year 2026 revenue between $7.650 billion to $7.662 billion, which amounts to roughly 71% year over year growth. That’s impressive, because this is 10 percentage points above the prior quarter’s outlook. U.S. commercial guidance is in excess of $3.224 billion, calling for at least 120% growth.

Market Reaction The stock has not tracked the fundamentals in a straight line. PLTR closed at $129.30 on July 2, 2026, versus $177.75 to start the year, a 27.26% year to date decline. The stock’s one-month change is -15.03%, so clearly momentum has flipped hard in the last week. That said, over five years, Palantir stock is still up 429.05%.

Bull Case The case for long-term holders leans on three facts, all in the filing. First, the business is doubling in the U.S. with expanding, not compressing, margins. Growth of 104% year over year in the U.S. paired with a 60% adjusted operating margin is the profile investors typically pay up to own.

Second, the backlog validates the growth rate. Total remaining deal value reached $11.8 billion, up 98% year over year. Remaining performance obligations climbed to $4.5 billion, up 134% year over year, with net dollar retention hit 150%. This was driven by the fact that Palantir closed 206 deals of $1 million or more and 47 deals of $10 million or more in the quarter.

Act now: the analyst who called NVIDIA in 2010 just named his top 10 AI stocks — and Palantir didn't make the cut. Grab the names FREE today.

Third, cash generation is real and rising. Operating cash flow reached $899.17 million in the quarter, and the balance sheet holds $8 billion in cash, equivalents, and short-term U.S. Treasuries. As CEO Alex Karp put it on the Q1 call, “Our free cash flow this quarter is larger than our revenue a year ago in the same quarter.” Full-year adjusted free cash flow guidance is $4.2 billion to $4.4 billion.

Prediction market participants have started to reflect the shift. Polymarket assigns a 70.5% probability to PLTR hitting $138 in July, with 47.5% for $144 and 32.5% for $150. Sub-$100 outcomes carry 10.5% or less.

Bottom Line For retirement-focused holders, the story is the combination of an 84.71% growth rate, a 60% adjusted operating margin, and a raised full-year outlook calling for 71% growth, layered onto a $296.88 billion market cap.

Certainly, Palantir’s valuation remains rich, with a forward P/E near 80 and a price to sales ratio of 53.54, and the filing lists real risks. Those can best be described as long sales cycles, contracts terminable for convenience, and $201.6 million in quarterly stock-based compensation.

The next test is the company’s upcoming Q2 2026 report, where management has guided revenue of $1.797 billion to $1.801 billion. If Palantir’s U.S. commercial engine holds triple-digit growth into a second consecutive quarter, the $100 billion narrative stops being a narrative.

Apple zvýšil ceny, Samsung očekává vyšší provozní zisk
MU Micron Technology
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
The company warned that surging demand for artificial intelligence would keep memory supplies tight for years, fundamentally reshaping an industry long known for boom-and-bust cycles.

Now, two of the technology industry’s biggest names appear to be illustrating different sides of that same story.

For Micron investors, Apple’s pricing decision and Samsung’s latest profit outlook aren’t isolated events. Together, they suggest the AI memory thesis Micron outlined is beginning to play out across the broader technology ecosystem.

Apple Showed the Cost of Tight SupplyLast month, Apple raised prices on several hardware products, citing higher costs for memory and storage components as AI infrastructure spending tightened supply.

The move surprised many investors because it highlighted something rarely seen in consumer electronics: memory costs becoming significant enough to influence retail pricing.

For Micron, however, it echoed what management had already been saying.

During its fiscal third-quarter earnings call, CEO Sanjay Mehrotra said the company still had “no line of sight” to when memory supply would catch up with AI-driven demand, adding that tight market conditions were expected to persist beyond calendar 2027.

Samsung Showed Who BenefitsIf Apple demonstrated where those higher costs ultimately land, Samsung’s latest outlook illustrated where much of the pricing power is flowing.

This week, the South Korean electronics company forecasted a sharp year-over-year increase in second-quarter operating profit, driven largely by continued strength in AI memory demand.

While Samsung and Micron report on different fiscal calendars, the guidance reinforces the broader industry dynamic Micron has been describing: AI infrastructure spending is creating a more favorable environment for memory suppliers.

One Thesis, Two OutcomesThe contrast is striking. On one side, device makers such as Apple are paying more for memory and, in some cases, passing those costs on to consumers.

On the other hand, memory manufacturers are reporting stronger profitability as tighter supply improves pricing power.

Micron argued weeks ago that AI had transformed memory from a cyclical commodity into a strategic technology bottleneck.

Recent developments at Apple and Samsung suggest that transformation is becoming increasingly visible beyond Micron’s own earnings reports.

Why It Matters for InvestorsMicron also disclosed roughly $22 billion in long-term customer commitments for its high-bandwidth memory products, underscoring confidence that AI-driven demand will remain strong as hyperscale cloud providers continue to expand their infrastructure.

Apple’s price increases showed the downstream effects of tighter memory markets.

Samsung’s profit forecast highlighted the upstream benefits.

Taken together, they reinforce a thesis Micron has been making for months: as AI spending accelerates, memory is no longer simply another semiconductor component—it’s becoming one of the industry’s most valuable constraints.

Danaher zvýšila core tržby díky bioprocesingu
DHR Danaher
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Key Takeaways Danaher's Biotechnology segment grew 7% in Q1 2026, driven by strong bioprocessing demand. DHR's bioprocessing equipment orders rose more than 30% on solid pharmaceutical demand. Danaher expects Biotechnology growth despite weaker filtration, consumables and equipment demand. Danaher Corporation’s (DHR - Free Report) Biotechnology segment continues to be a major contributor to its growth. In the first quarter of 2026, the segment’s core revenues increased 7% on a year-over-year basis, driven by strength in the bioprocessing business. On a geographical basis, higher sales in Western Europe and China fueled the increase in core sales.

The bioprocessing business is benefiting from higher demand for consumables from large pharmaceutical customers. Also, solid demand from pharmaceutical customers for monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) has been aiding the business. In the first quarter of 2026, orders for bioprocessing equipment increased more than 30%. For 2026, Danaher expects core revenues from the bioprocessing business to rise in high single digits on a year-over-year basis. Also, strength in the medical filtration and research consumables business bodes well for the Biotechnology segment.

However, the Biotechnology segment is facing headwinds due to weak demand for medical filtration products and research consumables in the discovery and medical business. Lower equipment demand is also weighing on the segment's performance.

Despite these headwinds, Danaher expects the Biotechnology segment’s core revenues to grow in the mid-single digits year over year in the second quarter of 2026. Rising demand for bioprocessing products is expected to support the segment’s performance in the coming quarters.

Segment Snapshot of DHR's PeersAmong its major peers, Labcorp Holdings Inc.’s (LH - Free Report) Biopharma Laboratory Services segment generated net sales of $780.6 million in the first quarter of 2026, up 8.2% year over year. This was driven by Labcorp’s strong drug development capabilities and scientific expertise. Labcorp derived 22.1% of its total revenues from this segment during the quarter.

Its another peer: CVS Health Corporation’s (CVS - Free Report) Health Services segment reported net sales of $48.24 billion in the first quarter of 2026, up 11% year over year. CVS Health generated 48% of its total sales from this segment in the quarter. Favorable pharmacy drug mix and brand inflation aided the segment’s results in the second quarter.

DHR's Price Performance, Valuation and EstimatesShares of Danaher have gained 3% in the past month compared with the industry’s growth of 7.1%.

From a valuation standpoint, DHR is trading at a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 22.08X, above the industry’s average of 16.51X.

Intuit překonal odhady a zvýšil výhled pro 2026
INTU Intuit
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
It hasn't been a good year for Intuit (INTU 2.32%). The stock is down by more than 50% year to date as investors worry that artificial intelligence could weaken demand for many of the company's core products, including TurboTax.

However, a stock can only fall by so much before it's considered undervalued, especially given that Intuit is still gaining market share in key industries.

A beat-and-raise quarter casts doubts on AI worries Intuit eased worries about AI competition by beating guidance and raising its outlook for the rest of its fiscal 2026. Notably, TurboTax revenue was up 7% year over year in a quarter that saw 10% overall revenue growth. Full-year fiscal 2026 sales are expected to increase by 13% to 14% year over year.

TurboTax also has a major growth engine that can accelerate future growth. Intuit said that TurboTax Live will make up more than half of total revenue and that fiscal 2026 will close up 38% year over year. TurboTax Live lets users connect with a professional tax expert who can assist when filing taxes. This service has been around for almost a decade and lets people find tax experts who can answer questions, review paperwork, or handle all the prep work, depending on the tier you choose.

People who enjoy working with tax professionals will likely stick with that route. It saves time, and people who work with the same tax professional come to trust that expert over time.

Intuit isn't just TurboTax TurboTax is a major part of Intuit's business, but it's not the only software that is driving growth. TurboTax accounts for a little more than half of total revenue, and the other half is made up of many fast-growing businesses.

Global Business Solutions' revenue was up by 15% year over year, with QuickBooks Online Accounting leading the way with 22% year-over-year revenue growth. Intuit serves businesses that may need multiple software products. For instance, it is realistic for a business that uses QuickBooks to also have a Mailchimp subscription.

It's also similar on the consumer segment side. People who use TurboTax may also need to take out a loan or line of credit with Credit Karma.

Intuit has many synergies in its ecosystem, and many of them generate annual recurring revenue through subscription plans. That setup makes growth more scalable and predictable.

AI fears have driven Intuit's stock to a compelling 10 forward P/E ratio. Revenue and net income are still growing, despite the naysayers. It appears Intuit is due for a rebound, and subsequent earnings results may make that point clear.

Coinbase získala ve Spojeném království povolení pro deriváty a akcie
COIN Coinbase
FMP Stock News 78

Key Takeaways Coinbase secured UK approval to offer eligible users derivatives and equities alongside crypto. The UK is key as nearly 7 million adults own crypto and new rules are expected in October 2027.Coinbase is securing licenses globally to reduce U.S. reliance and broaden its customer base. Coinbase Global (COIN - Free Report) recently secured authorization to offer investment services in the United Kingdom, enabling eligible users to trade derivatives and equities alongside cryptocurrencies. The approval marks another milestone in Coinbase’s effort to build a comprehensive, globally regulated digital asset platform. As regulatory clarity improves across major markets, the company is strengthening its position as one of the few crypto-native firms capable of serving both institutional and retail clients within established regulatory frameworks.

The United Kingdom is a strategically important market, given its deep capital markets and leadership in fintech adoption. According to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), nearly 7 million UK adults already own crypto assets, while about 25% of non-owners say they would be more likely to invest under a clear regulatory framework. With the UK's comprehensive crypto regulations expected to take effect in October 2027, Coinbase is well-positioned to benefit from rising adoption. Its UK product suite now spans crypto trading, derivatives, equities, stablecoin payments, savings, borrowing, with tokenized real-world assets planned for the future.

The authorization also supports Coinbase's broader international expansion strategy. The company has steadily secured licenses across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Latin America, reducing reliance on the U.S. market while broadening its global customer base. Management described the approval as the largest expansion of Coinbase's UK offering since entering the market. More broadly, Coinbase is transforming from a crypto exchange into an "everything exchange," aiming to provide a unified platform for cryptocurrencies, derivatives, tokenized assets, stablecoins and, eventually, additional traditional financial products as regulations evolve.

What About COIN’s Peers?    Circle Internet Group’s (CRCL - Free Report) international expansion strengthened its position as a global fintech powerhouse. By expanding its footprint across Europe, Asia and Latin America, Circle has gained stronger access to regulated digital markets. By accelerating global USDC adoption, Circle positions itself for sustained growth and leadership in the rapidly evolving digital financial ecosystem.

Robinhood Markets’ (HOOD - Free Report) international expansion enables it to tap into rising global retail investing demand. By establishing operations in the United Kingdom and Asia, Robinhood broadens revenue streams and reduces reliance on U.S. markets. With strategic acquisitions and regional hubs, Robinhood is well-positioned for sustained growth and a stronger presence in the global fintech landscape.

COIN’s Price PerformanceShares of COIN have lost 30.3% in the year-to-date period, underperforming the industry.

Akcie The Trade Desk klesly o 16 % po odchodu šéfa příjmů
TTD The Trade Desk
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Shares of The Trade Desk (TTD 1.25%) were slumping again last month after the leading independent demand-side adtech platform (DSP) got swept up in the broader sell-off in software stocks as investors continue to doubt its growth potential amid rapidly deteriorating sales growth.

Perhaps, the worst news for the company was that Chief Revenue Officer Anders Mortenson was asked to leave the company after just seven months, a sign of disarray and the challenges The Trade Desk is facing.

While there were some positive news items, the overall trend was negative, and the stock finished the month down 16%, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence.

As you can see from the chart below, the stock fell in the first half of the month and remained down afterward.

TTD data by YCharts

What's happening with The Trade Desk The Trade Desk is facing pressure from AI disruption, but it's less from start-ups like Anthropic and more from entrenched tech companies like Alphabet, Amazon, and Meta Platforms that are using AI automation tools to enhance their "walled gardens." Those three companies are the biggest digital ad platforms in the world, and are all outgrowing The Trade Desk, showing that they're taking market share from the adtech company.

Despite the pullback in the stock, there was some good news for The Trade Desk. The company reportedly settled its dispute with Publicis, one of the world's largest ad agency holding companies. Months ago, Publicis had told its clients to stop working with The Trade Desk after an audit showed unscrupulous practices such as improper billing, though that should no longer be a concern for investors.

The merger between Fox and Roku also seemed like a potential tailwind for The Trade Desk, and Benchmark reiterated a buy rating on the stock and a $30 price target, saying The Trade Desk is "critically important" to both Fox and Roku.

What's next for The Trade Desk The Trade Desk is up 5% in July so far, gaining after a report in Bloomberg that said that Criteo, another adtech firm, was a buyout target for some private equity firms.

If there's a silver lining in the stock's collapse over the last year-and-a-half, it's that The Trade Desk is reasonably valued now at a price-to-earnings ratio of just 22, and it's solidly profitable. However, revenue growth is expected to fall below 10% in the current quarter and stay there.

If that doesn't change, it's hard to see the stock making a meaningful comeback.

FuelCell Energy roste díky výhledu a datovým centrům
FCEL Fuelcell
FMP Stock News 72
Original source text
A month has gone by since the last earnings report for FuelCell Energy (FCEL - Free Report) . Shares have added about 48.4% in that time frame, outperforming the S&P 500.

But investors have to be wondering, will the recent positive trend continue leading up to its next earnings release, or is FuelCell Energy due for a pullback? Well, first let's take a quick look at the most recent earnings report in order to get a better handle on the recent catalysts for FuelCell Energy, Inc. before we dive into how investors and analysts have reacted as of late.

FuelCell Q2 Earnings MissFuelCell Energy posted a second-quarter fiscal 2026 adjusted loss of 58 cents per share, wider than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a 54-cent loss. The underperformance was tied largely to softer service and generation activity. Management attributed the service decline to the absence of module exchanges during the quarter, while generation revenue reflected lower operating output as the Groton project underwent repairs.

However, the bottom line improved from the year-ago adjusted loss of $1.79 on the back of cost reduction and operating efficiency.

Quarterly revenues came in at $35.6 million, below the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $41 million and the year-ago sales of $37.4 million. Even so, contracted backlog remained sizable at more than $1.1 billion as of April 30, 2026.

FuelCell Energy generated $18 million of product revenues in the quarter, supported by scheduled module deliveries to Gyeonggi Green Energy in South Korea. Service revenues were $4.2 million, while generation revenues were $8.7 million and advanced technologies revenues were $4.7 million.

FuelCell Energy Leans Into Data Centers as Pipeline JumpsFCEL emphasized accelerating demand for behind-the-meter baseload power tied to AI and high-density data center buildouts. During the quarter, the company highlighted a 4-gigawatt proposal pipeline, with data centers accounting for roughly 89% of the total.

Management also pointed to a larger deal profile, with average proposal size rising to 130 megawatts as of May 1, 2026. The company believes its standardized 12.5-megawatt “FuelCell Energy Block” is designed to reduce repeat engineering and permitting work and support faster multi-megawatt deployments.

FCEL Takes a Large Hit From Groton-Related ChargesProfitability was weighed down by a significant non-cash impairment tied to the Groton project. The company recorded a $42.6 million impairment expense related to its decision to upgrade equipment at the 7.4-megawatt Groton Navy project to utilize three standard 2.5-megawatt blocks.

As a result, operating expenses rose to about $65 million in the quarter, and loss from operations widened to $77.9 million. While the impairment drove most of the year-over-year increase, management framed the upgrade as a reliability-focused decision tied to supporting a critical U.S. government asset.

FuelCell Energy’s Cash Position Strengthens After Equity SalesFuelCell Energy ended the quarter with $440.9 million in total cash, cash equivalents and restricted cash, including $373.2 million of unrestricted cash and $67.7 million of restricted cash.

The balance sheet benefited from equity issuance under the company’s at-the-market program. During the quarter, FCEL sold about 10.9 million shares at an average price of $9.45 per share for net proceeds of roughly $100.4 million, and it completed additional sales after quarter-end at a higher average price.

FCEL Scales Torrington Toward 500 MW of Annual CapacityFCEL is moving forward with manufacturing expansion at its Torrington, CT facility, initiating work to support an annualized production rate of up to 500 megawatts. The company reiterated an estimated total expansion cost of $200-$275 million, with execution expected over the next 24 months.

For fiscal 2026 specifically, management maintained its $20-$30 million capital spending plan tied to the ramp, while noting that capacity will be expanded in alignment with demand and structured capital support. Separately, the company reiterated a key profitability marker, targeting adjusted EBITDA positivity once it reaches consistent production volumes at or above a 100-megawatt annualized run rate.

How Have Estimates Been Moving Since Then?In the past month, investors have witnessed a upward trend in fresh estimates.

The consensus estimate has shifted 33.93% due to these changes.

VGM ScoresCurrently, FuelCell Energy has a nice Growth Score of B, however its Momentum Score is doing a bit better with an A. However, the stock was allocated a score of F on the value side, putting it in the bottom 20% quintile for this investment strategy.

Overall, the stock has an aggregate VGM Score of C. If you aren't focused on one strategy, this score is the one you should be interested in.

OutlookEstimates have been trending upward for the stock, and the magnitude of this revision looks promising. It comes with little surprise FuelCell Energy has a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). We expect an above average return from the stock in the next few months.

Applied Materials čeká růst tržeb z advanced packaging
AMAT Applied Materials
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Key Takeaways Applied Materials expects advanced packaging revenues to grow more than 50% in calendar 2026.AI demand and supply-constrained data center memory give AMAT an edge through 2026 and 2027.The NEXX acquisition and EPIC Center collaboration strengthen Applied Materials' packaging strategy. Applied Materials’ (AMAT - Free Report) advanced packaging has emerged as a major growth engine as the rapid build-out of AI computing infrastructure increases the need for higher system performance, power efficiency and cost optimization. In the advanced packaging space, AMAT has strong positions in high-bandwidth memory and 3D chiplet stacking. The company is well-positioned for upcoming packaging inflections.

AMAT is expected to gain tremendously as the data center memory space remains among the most supply-constrained markets amid the massive demand. The eventual ramp-up of memory chip production gives AMAT an edge throughout 2026 and 2027 as it is one of the leading process equipment suppliers in advanced packaging. The company expects its packaging revenues to grow more than 50% in 2026.

Applied Materials’ advanced packaging, alongside leading-edge foundry-logic and DRAM, are one of the three markets with the greatest impact on AI computing. Together, these areas are expected to account for more than 80% of year-over-year wafer fab equipment spending growth in 2026, with a similar profile expected in 2027.

AMAT already offers what it describes as the industry’s broadest portfolio for the emerging panel trend, spanning chemical vapor deposition, etch, physical vapor deposition, digital lithography, electrochemical deposition, and e-beam metrology and test. Now it plans to strengthen this portfolio through its acquisition of the NEXX business from ASMPT.

The combined portfolio of NEXX and AMAT is designed to help chipmakers and systems companies build larger AI accelerators with higher energy-efficient performance.  Collaboration is another important element of Applied Materials’ packaging strategy. Through the EPIC Center, AMAT and SK hynix plan to work on next-generation DRAM, HBM and 3D advanced packaging. These factors establish AMAT at a sweet spot in the packaging business.

How Competitors Fare Against AMATAMAT’s broad portfolio positions the company to capture a larger share of customer spending as semiconductor manufacturing becomes increasingly materials-intensive while also keeping its competitors like Lam Research (LRCX - Free Report) and Camtek (CAMT - Free Report) at bay. The breadth of Applied Materials' portfolio also reduces its dependence on any single semiconductor technology cycle and supports stronger pricing power.

Camtek focuses on semiconductor inspection, metrology, advanced packaging and high-performance computing applications. Lam Research competes with Applied Materials across deposition and etch technologies, including advanced atomic layer deposition systems used in leading-edge semiconductor manufacturing.

AMAT’s Price Performance, Valuation and EstimatesShares of Applied Materials have surged 115.7% year to date compared with the Zacks Electronics - Semiconductors industry’s growth of 40.4%.

Carvana zkrátila maloobchodní cyklus na 4,8 dne
CVNA Carvana
FMP Stock News 72
Original source text
Key Takeaways Carvana's integrated retail system connects buying, reconditioning, listing and delivery in one process. CVNA uses ADESA Clear to support wholesale vehicle purchases and sells most wholesale inventory.Carvana is investing in technology, logistics and operations to improve efficiency and support growth. Carvana Co.’s (CVNA - Free Report) digital wholesale auction platform, ADESA Clear, has evolved into a key component of its operating model, with continued improvements in quality, scale and functionality. The platform is becoming an increasingly important part of Carvana's wholesale operations, supporting the purchase of vehicles through wholesale channels and the sale of most of those vehicles via ADESA Clear.

The company's long-term strategy centers on building a fully integrated automotive retail system that delivers a seamless customer experience for both sellers and buyers while minimizing the costs involved in vehicle transactions. Rather than treating each stage of the process as a separate operation, Carvana has developed an end-to-end system that connects every step, from purchasing a used vehicle to delivering it to its next owner. This integrated approach is designed to improve speed, reduce operational complexity and enhance overall efficiency.

One example of these operational improvements is Carvana's ability to complete the entire retail cycle in as little as 4.8 days. The process begins when a customer receives an online valuation for their vehicle and decides to sell it. It is followed by identity verification, title processing and scheduling either a vehicle pickup or customer drop-off. After receiving the vehicle, Carvana transports it to one of its inspection and reconditioning centers, where technicians evaluate its condition, perform the necessary repairs and prepare it for resale. The vehicle is then photographed, priced using automated systems and listed on the company's online marketplace.

Once another customer selects the vehicle, the purchase process is completed digitally, followed by delivery scheduling and transportation to the buyer. Completing all of these steps, from acquisition to final delivery, in less than five days highlights the efficiency of Carvana's logistics network, technology platform and reconditioning operations. Continued investments in technology, logistics and operations are aimed at further optimizing the system, improving efficiency and supporting the company's long-term growth. CVNA currently has a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 (Strong Buy) Rank stocks here.

Other automotive retailers are also expanding their digital capabilities to simplify vehicle transactions and strengthen operating performance.

Lithia Motors, Inc.’s (LAD - Free Report) digital platforms, Driveway and GreenCars, are helping boost profitability and expand its market presence. These e-commerce platforms let customers buy, sell and service vehicles online. Early results from Lithia’s investment in Wheels, a top fleet management company, are also strong. Its minority stake in Wheels creates powerful synergies between retail and fleet operations. Together, these moves strengthen Lithia’s mobility ecosystem and support customer retention and long-term profitability.

Group 1 Automotive, Inc. (GPI - Free Report) is steadily improving its sales process through digital tools, moving beyond just generating online leads to closing deals faster and at lower cost. Virtual finance and insurance are now available in about one-third of Group 1’s U.S. stores and handle roughly 20% of deals there, with positive customer feedback and lower compensation costs. At the same time, tools like AcceleRide, along with AI-based scheduling and CRM platforms, are helping Group 1 work more efficiently, improve deal conversions and deliver more consistent performance across its dealerships over time.

Carvana’s Price Performance, Valuation and EstimatesCarvana has underperformed the Zacks Internet – Commerce industry in the last six months. CVNA shares have plunged 27.1% compared with the industry’s decline of 7.2%.

From a valuation perspective, Carvana appears overvalued. Going by its price/sales ratio, the company is trading at a forward sales multiple of 2.32, higher than its industry’s 1.91.

Warner Music čeká normalizace podílu, AI zůstává klíčová
WMG Warner Music Group
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Warner Music Group Corp (NASDAQ:WMG) is expected to see a normalization in market share during its fiscal third quarter while continuing to benefit from broader growth trends in the music industry, according to Bank of America.

The bank maintained its 'Neutral' rating and $35 price objective on the company, writing that WMG’s upcoming results should reflect a return toward more typical market share levels after several quarters of stronger-than-usual performance.

Shares of WMG traded hands at $29 on Wednesday afternoon, down about 5% so far this year.

“WMG continues to see the benefit of PSM escalators and/or recent price increases, and after several quarters of robust market share, there has been some mean reversion toward other labels,” Bank of America wrote. The firm added that the shift had been well telegraphed following WMG’s fiscal second-quarter results.

Bank of America expects subscription streaming growth could accelerate later in the year, supported by an additional PSM agreement rolling into the fourth fiscal quarter. The firm noted that recent agreements with digital service providers (DSPs) have improved visibility into subscription streaming growth and, alongside cost-cutting initiatives, could support multi-year earnings growth.

The analyst also highlighted artificial intelligence as a key area of focus for investors, with the technology presenting both opportunities and risks for the music industry. While concerns remain around synthetic content and potential disruption to traditional music models, Bank of America wrote that AI could create new monetization opportunities.

The firm pointed to Spotify’s recent investor day, where the streaming platform outlined plans for a potential higher-priced AI and “superfan” subscription tier. However, Spotify has not yet reached an agreement with WMG, despite announcing a deal with Universal Music Group (AEX:UMG), which Bank of America believes would be necessary before such a product could launch.

“Although the structure of these agreements remains uncertain, we see a path to win-win outcomes if AI-enabled premium tiers can drive further monetization of music content,” the firm wrote.

Bank of America maintained its fiscal third-quarter estimates for WMG, forecasting revenue of $1.81 billion and adjusted operating income before depreciation and amortization (OIBDA) of $417 million. For fiscal 2026, the firm kept its revenue forecast at $7.29 billion and adjusted OIBDA estimate at $1.72 billion.

The bank said it continues to view the risk-reward profile for WMG shares as balanced at current levels, citing improved visibility from recent DSP agreements.

WTW’s Favorable Return on EquityWillis Towers Watson’s return on equity (ROE) of 21.5% for the trailing 12 months compared favorably with the industry’s 18.8%, reflecting the company’s efficiency in utilizing shareholders’ funds.

Factors Benefiting WTWWillis Towers continues to benefit from a healthy pipeline across its specialty businesses. Strong client wins in data centers, nuclear energy, surety, construction and commercial insurance, including a major Fortune 100 account, are expected to support revenue growth in the coming quarters. WTW is also re-entering the reinsurance market through a joint venture with Bain Capital, which is expected to be a roughly 30-cent headwind to adjusted EPS in 2026.

Rising healthcare costs and increasing benefit complexity are driving demand for WTW's health consulting, and the health segment revenue grew 6% during the first quarter of 2026. Management expects high-single-digit growth for 2026.

Willis Towers Watson's solid balance sheet and steady cash flow are expected to help the company deploy capital through buybacks, dividend payouts, debt repayments and acquisitions. The company returned $388 million to shareholders during the first quarter of 2026 through share repurchases and dividends, and expects share repurchases of $1 billion or greater in 2026.

Risks for WTWWTW's first-quarter organic revenue growth slowed due to project delays and softer market conditions. Prolonged weakness in organic growth could pressure revenue expansion and investor sentiment.

Wills Towers continues to face risks from geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty, particularly in international markets, which may delay client spending and consulting projects.

Unfavorable exchange-rate movements could also negatively impact earnings and operating results despite the company's hedging programs.

ConclusionWillis Towers Watson boasts growth through AI initiatives, specialty insurance expansion, the Newfront acquisition, effective capital deployment and continued margin improvement. However, slower organic growth, geopolitical uncertainty and foreign exchange volatility remain key risks.

Its solid growth projections, optimistic analyst sentiment, cheap valuations and favorable ROE should continue to benefit Willis Towers Watson over the long term. The stock currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold). You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

Uranium Energy chystá americký konverzní závod
UEC Uranium Energy Corp
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Key Takeaways UEC is tying U.S. uranium production to a broader nuclear fuel and critical-minerals strategy.UEC's UR&C is pursuing a U.S. conversion facility, with licensing steps still ahead.UEC's growth hinges on permits, wellfield performance, site selection and construction timing. Uranium Energy Corp. (UEC - Free Report) is increasingly tied to a broader U.S. nuclear fuel and critical-minerals story. The company has moved beyond a simple uranium price trade by pairing domestic in-situ recovery production with a proposed conversion platform.

That strategy gives UEC a place in supply-security discussions. Investors still need to separate the long-term theme from near-term execution.

How UEC Fits the U.S. Fuel Security PushUEC holds what it describes as the largest uranium resource base and most licensed production capacity in the United States. Its Wyoming and South Texas hub-and-spoke in-situ recovery operations total about 12 million pounds of licensed annual capacity.

The operating model matters because multiple mines can feed central processing infrastructure. Christensen Ranch is processed through the Irigaray Central Processing Plant, while Burke Hollow and Palangana feed the Hobson Processing Facility.

Cameco Corporation (CCJ - Free Report) provides a useful industry reference point because it is a large uranium and nuclear fuel supplier with exposure across the global fuel cycle. That makes Cameco a benchmark for assessing how far UEC must still go to turn domestic resources into durable fuel-cycle earnings.

Why Uranium Energy Is Chasing Conversion CapacityUEC’s next strategic layer is United States Uranium Refining & Conversion Corp., or UR&C. The subsidiary is pursuing a new uranium refining and conversion facility in the United States, which would move the company beyond mining and yellowcake production.

UR&C has received a U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission docket number for the planned conversion facility. Engineering and design work with Fluor is continuing, and the formal license application is expected after design work is completed and a site is selected.

Management views Western conversion capacity as an acute bottleneck. Centrus Energy Corp. (LEU - Free Report) , which is focused on nuclear fuel and high-assay low-enriched uranium, shows why investors are watching fuel-cycle infrastructure beyond mining.

UEC Growth Trend Depends on Permits and TimingPolicy support does not eliminate the need for approvals, construction and wellfield performance. At Christensen Ranch, three new header houses in Wellfield 11 began production late in the third quarter of fiscal 2026 after state approval, while one more was complete and awaiting approval.

Sweetwater reinforces the same point. The Wyoming project has FAST-41 transparency status, and the Bureau of Land Management completed its completeness review of UEC’s Plan of Operations for in-situ recovery operations.

Those milestones are useful, but timing remains central to the investment case. Site selection, licensing and construction will determine when strategic projects can shift from policy-aligned assets to economic contributors.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for UEC for fiscal 2026 is currently pegged at a loss of 19 cents per share, wider than the loss of 17 cents reported in fiscal 2025. The consensus for fiscal 2027 also suggests a loss of 11 cents per share, as shown in the chart below.

How Uranium Energy Adds Critical Mineral ExposureUEC’s Alto Paraná project in Paraguay gives the company an adjacent critical-minerals angle through titanium and vanadium. An independent report concluded that the project could contribute to the security and diversification of U.S. supply chains.

The preliminary economic assessment included two development cases. The first showed an net present value (NPV) of $419 million and a 21% post-tax internal rate of return, while the larger-scale case showed an NPV of $1.55 billion and a 25% post-tax internal rate of return.

That optionality broadens UEC’s strategic narrative. It does not replace the core uranium thesis, but it gives investors another asset tied to supply-chain diversification.

What UEC’s Ratings Say About This Trend TradeThe bottom line is that UEC’s thematic reach is expanding faster than its near-term stock signal. The company has licensed U.S. capacity, a conversion initiative and critical-mineral exposure, but investors still need proof that execution can become steadier.

UEC currently carries a Zacks Rank #4 (Sell). That short-term rating points to caution over the next one to three months, particularly while the company is still working through production variability, cost pressure and licensing milestones.

You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

The Zacks Style Scores reinforce that view. UEC has a VGM Score of F, Value Score of F, Growth Score of F and Momentum Score of D. Since higher Style Scores are generally more favorable, these weak grades suggest a less attractive setup across valuation, growth and price-action factors.

For now, the U.S. nuclear fuel and critical-minerals theme gives UEC a clearer strategic identity. The stock still needs cleaner execution, better momentum and more durable earnings support before that theme translates into a stronger signal.

Datadog v 1. čtvrtletí poprvé překonal miliardu USD tržeb
DDOG Datadog
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Key Takeaways Datadog topped $1 billion in quarterly revenues as first-quarter 2026 sales rose 32% year over year.DDOG unveiled 100 plus AI and security capabilities and acquired Adaptive ML to expand AI agents.Datadog forecasts 2026 revenues of $4.30-$4.34B despite margin, competition and macro risks. Datadog (DDOG - Free Report) shares have surged 88.7% year to date, comfortably outpacing the Zacks Computer and Technology sector's 14.8% growth and the Zacks Internet Software industry's 8% decline over the same stretch of trading.

The rally reflects growing investor confidence in Datadog's role as a core observability and security platform for enterprises navigating increasingly complex, AI-driven infrastructure. With first-quarter 2026 results confirming accelerating growth and management issuing upbeat forward guidance, the near-term setup still looks favorable for investors willing to ride out some volatility, even as rising costs and intensifying competition warrant a genuinely watchful eye.

DDOG Outperforms Sector, Peers YTD

Catalysts Fuelling DDOG’s RallyDatadog's first-quarter 2026 results showed revenues climbing 32% year over year to $1,006 million, marking the company's first quarter above $1 billion and a sequential acceleration from 29% growth in the prior period. Customers with annual recurring revenues of $100,000 or more grew 21% year over year to about 4,550. Non-GAAP operating margin held at 22%, while free cash flow reached $289 million.

Momentum has continued into the current quarter. Last month, Datadog hosted its DASH 2026 conference, unveiling more than 100 new capabilities to help customers manage growing AI and security complexity, including expanded agentic tooling. On June 30, the company announced its acquisition of Adaptive ML, a startup building a Reinforcement Learning Operations platform, which will join Datadog AI Research to accelerate work on specialized AI agents trained on real-world observability signals. The company also achieved FedRAMP High certification during the quarter and launched GPU Monitoring to help customers better manage AI infrastructure spend.

Forward-Looking Guidance by DDOG Holds PromiseFor the second quarter of 2026, Datadog guided revenues between $1.07 billion and $1.08 billion, non-GAAP operating income to be $225-$235 million, and non-GAAP earnings per share between 57 cents and 59 cents.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate calls for 2026 revenues of $4.34 billion, up 26.62% year over year, with earnings pegged at $2.41 per share, up 17.56%, suggesting the current valuation gap is arguably well justified by Datadog's faster, AI-driven observability growth trajectory relative to the broader field.

For full-year 2026, management projected revenues between $4.30 billion and $4.34 billion, non-GAAP operating income to be $940-$980 million, and non-GAAP earnings per share between $2.36 and $2.44, underscoring continued confidence in sustained double-digit growth.

Headwinds Worth MonitoringDespite the strong trajectory, risks remain. GAAP operating margin was just 1% in the quarter, reflecting heavy stock-based compensation and continued R&D investment, including newly absorbed costs tied to the Adaptive ML deal. Continued reliance on large enterprise deals also introduces some lumpiness to quarterly bookings, and management has flagged macro uncertainty tied to trade policy and IT spending as ongoing watch items.

Valuation and Competitive LandscapeDatadog carries a Zacks Value Score of F, trading at a forward 12-month price-to-sales ratio of 19.2X, well above the industry median of 4.78X. That steep premium reflects Datadog's notably stronger growth profile relative to slower-growing peers, whose more modest multiples mirror decelerating or largely flat expansion.

DDOG’s P/S Valuation

DDOG faces significant competition from the likes of International Business Machines (IBM - Free Report) , Cisco Systems (CSCO - Free Report) and Dynatrace Software (DT - Free Report) , among others. Cisco Systems has advanced 45.2%, while Dynatrace has gained 4.1% and International Business Machines has returned 3.4%, highlighting Datadog's clear outperformance against all three legacy and pure-play rivals alike.

Cisco Systems leans on its deep network-layer footprint and hardware relationships to push observability bundles into existing accounts, while Dynatrace differentiates through AI-driven causal analytics aimed squarely at large enterprise customers. International Business Machines folds observability into its broader hybrid-cloud and consulting stack, giving it reach but comparatively less focus. Datadog's unified platform keeps winning share, though Cisco Systems, Dynatrace, and International Business Machines each retain entrenched enterprise relationships that keep the observability and security market intensely contested heading into the second half of 2026.

ConclusionWith accelerating revenue growth, robust guidance and steady AI-driven innovation spanning GPU monitoring, agentic security tooling and the Adaptive ML acquisition, Datadog's growth story remains firmly intact. Despite thin GAAP margins and a crowded competitive field, the near-term outlook still tilts favorably enough for patient, growth-oriented investors to consider Datadog.

DDOG currently carries a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) and a Growth Score of A, a favorable combination that offers a strong investment opportunity per the Zacks proprietary methodology. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

At the same time, VMI has significantly strengthened profitability through restructuring, productivity improvements and strategic capacity expansion. Corporate expenses declined as restructuring initiatives streamlined operations.

Brownfield expansion projects added approximately $95 million in annual revenue capacity. The company has also removed production bottlenecks, implemented AI-enabled scheduling and planning tools, and continued operational excellence initiatives that have improved manufacturing efficiency. These efforts have driven some of the strongest Infrastructure segment margins in recent years while positioning the company to capitalize on rising utility demand.

BridgeBio závisí na Attruby a chystá tři uvedení na trh
BBIO BridgeBio Pharma
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Key Takeaways BridgeBio's Attruby became its main revenue driver after strong early sales following FDA approval.BBIO targets three potential U.S. launches over 12 months, led by BBP-418 under priority review.BBIO boosted liquidity with $1B financing, but debt, competition and pipeline risks remain. BridgeBio Pharma (BBIO - Free Report) is moving from a launch-driven story toward a broader commercial execution test. Attruby has quickly become the company’s financial backbone, while late-stage pipeline assets could add new revenue streams.

The stock’s outlook now depends on whether BridgeBio can scale Attruby, convert upcoming regulatory catalysts into launches and manage risks tied to a leveraged rare disease growth model.

Why Attruby Drives BBIO GrowthAttruby is BridgeBio’s key marketed product and main revenue driver. The drug was approved by the FDA in November 2024 for adults with transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM), a progressive heart disease caused by transthyretin amyloid buildup.

U.S. Attruby sales were $362.4 million in 2025, its first full year on the market, and nearly $181 million in the first quarter of 2026. That performance made the therapy BBIO’s financial backbone.

Growth is tied to rising diagnosis rates, physician adoption and patient uptake. BridgeBio estimates that diagnosed U.S. ATTR-CM patients rose from fewer than 5,000 in 2019 to more than 50,000 in 2025, helped by greater awareness and wider use of non-invasive diagnostic tools.

How BridgeBio Can Broaden RevenueBridgeBio’s next challenge is reducing its dependence on Attruby. The company is preparing for three potential U.S. product launches over the next 12 months, led by BBP-418, encaleret and infigratinib.

BBP-418 is the closest catalyst. The FDA accepted the filing for priority review in limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2I/R9, with a decision expected by Nov. 27, 2026. Approval would make it the first therapy for this patient population.

Encaleret adds another possible first-in-class launch. BridgeBio submitted the filing in May 2026 for autosomal dominant hypocalcemia type 1 (ADH1) and anticipates a U.S. launch in early 2027 if approved.

Infigratinib could follow in achondroplasia. BridgeBio intends to file in the third quarter of 2026 and is targeting a potential launch in early to mid-2027. Together, these programs could shift BBIO toward a broader rare disease platform.

BBIO Balance Sheet Supports Launch PlansBridgeBio recently raised $1 billion through preferred equity financing to support current and potential product launches. The capital gives the company more flexibility as it funds Attruby commercialization.

Liquidity looks adequate for near-term needs. BridgeBio ended the first quarter of 2026 with $940.2 million in cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities, up from $587.5 million at the end of 2025.

Debt remains part of the investment case. Long-term debt was approximately $1.93 billion as of March 31, 2026, while short-term debt was around $547 million. The cash balance covers near-term obligations, but BBIO remains a leveraged growth story.

Where BBIO Investors Should Stay CautiousThe biggest risk is concentration. Attruby is BridgeBio’s only approved product in its commercial portfolio, leaving near-term financial performance highly dependent on one therapy.

Competition is another constraint. Pfizer (PFE - Free Report) markets the established Vyndaqel family in ATTR-CM, and BridgeBio must keep proving Attruby’s clinical and access position to gain further share.

Pipeline risk is also material. An FDA delay, rejection, request for more data or narrower-than-expected label for BBP-418, encaleret or infigratinib could push out the diversification timeline.

In achondroplasia, BioMarin Pharmaceutical (BMRN - Free Report) markets Voxzogo, an injectable treatment option. That backdrop means infigratinib’s oral profile may help, but uptake would still depend on data, reimbursement and physician adoption.

How BBIO Fits a Neutral Rating SetupBBIO fits a balanced setup because the positives and risks are both clear. Attruby has delivered meaningful early revenue, the late-stage pipeline offers multiple catalysts and the balance sheet has been strengthened.

At the same time, one-product reliance, regulatory uncertainty and competition keep the risk-reward profile from being one-sided. The stock trades at 12.3X forward 12-month EV/Sales, above the Zacks sub-industry multiple of 2.7X.

A Neutral stance is consistent with a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) style setup, where investors may prefer to watch execution rather than assume a straight-line growth path. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

Key Takeaways Dillard's blends 272 stores, dillards.com and fresh merchandise to strengthen customer engagement.Total retail sales and comparable-store sales rose 3%, with every merchandise category posting gains.Dillard's opened a 160,000-square-foot Ohio store as the retail gross margin improved to 45.8%. Dillard's, Inc. (DDS - Free Report) has been strengthening its retail position by complementing its physical store network with its digital platform, allowing customers to shop seamlessly across channels. The company’s continued emphasis on merchandising newness, expanding its store footprint and maintaining an established online presence at dillards.com suggests that omnichannel capabilities remain integral to its customer engagement strategy. DDS operates 272 stores across 30 states, alongside its Internet store, providing broad market coverage and multiple shopping touchpoints.

The benefits of this integrated approach are reflected in the first-quarter fiscal 2026 operating results. Total retail sales increased 3%, while comparable-store sales also rose 3%, indicating healthy consumer demand across the business. Notably, every merchandise category posted year-over-year sales gains, with home and furniture, ladies' accessories and lingerie, and shoes delivering the strongest growth. A broader omnichannel presence can help Dillard's showcase these categories more effectively, improve product availability and create a more convenient shopping experience for customers.

Dillard's also continues to invest in its physical network, opening a new 160,000-square-foot store in Beavercreek, OH, in the quarter. Rather than viewing stores and digital channels separately, the company appears positioned to leverage both as complementary assets. Coupled with management's continued focus on refreshing merchandise assortments, this strategy contributed to a higher retail gross margin of 45.8% and profitable sales growth in the fiscal first quarter.

Dillard's combination of an established online platform, nationwide store network and merchandise-led strategy provides a solid foundation to strengthen customer engagement and support long-term competitive positioning.

APAC je nejrychleji rostoucím regionem Abercrombie & Fitch
ANF Abercrombie & Fitch Company
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Key Takeaways APAC became Abercrombie & Fitch's fastest-growing region in Q1, with net sales up 24% and comps up 15%.Growth across Abercrombie and Hollister helped offset EMEA weakness tied to geopolitical tensions.Abercrombie & Fitch is reviewing partnerships and capital-light options to scale APAC with strong returns. Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (ANF - Free Report) views the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region as an increasingly important part of its long-term international growth strategy. While the company continues to generate the majority of its revenues from the Americas, APAC is demonstrating strong momentum and reinforcing management's confidence in the region's long-term potential. Rather than pursuing rapid expansion, Abercrombie & Fitch is taking a disciplined approach by evaluating the optimal go-to-market model, including partnerships and other capital-light opportunities that can support profitable, scalable growth. This measured strategy could allow the company to strengthen its presence while preserving financial flexibility.

The first quarter of fiscal 2026 highlighted APAC's growing importance. Regional net sales increased 24% year over year, following 5% growth in the prior-year quarter, while comparable sales advanced 15%, making APAC the company's fastest-growing geography. Growth was broad-based across both the Abercrombie and Hollister brands, helping offset weakness in EMEA, where geopolitical tensions weighed on demand. Encouraged by this performance, ANF said its ongoing strategic review aims to determine how best to scale the region while generating strong returns, with partnerships and capital-light expansion among the options under evaluation.

Looking ahead, APAC could become an increasingly meaningful contributor to Abercrombie & Fitch's global growth story if the company successfully expands its regional footprint while maintaining its disciplined operating model. Management emphasized that the strong fiscal first-quarter performance reinforces its belief in the sizeable long-term opportunity across the region, even as the strategic review continues. With healthy brand momentum, a modernized technology platform and a focus on scalable, high-return growth, APAC has the potential to complement the company's established Americas business and emerge as a more significant earnings driver over time.

ANF’s Zacks Rank & Share Price PerformanceShares of this Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) company have lost 14% in the past three months, underperforming the industry’s decline of 2.8% and the broader Retail-Wholesale sector’s rise of 2.5%.

Arm Holdings zvýšil tržby o 20 % díky licencím
ARM Arm Holdings
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Key Takeaways ARM's total revenues increased 20% year over year to $1.49 billion in fiscal Q4 2026.Licensing and other revenues surged 29% to $819 million.Royalty revenues grew 11% to $671 million on Armv9 adoption, Arm CSS and expanding data center deployments. Arm Holdings (ARM - Free Report) continues to capitalize on robust demand for its semiconductor intellectual property, with its latest quarterly results highlighting licensing as a key growth engine.

In the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, total revenues climbed 20% year over year to $1.49 billion. While the royalty business remained a significant contributor, licensing and other revenues once again delivered the strongest growth, underscoring sustained customer demand for ARM’s technology.

The company continues to benefit from rising investments in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, mobile devices and custom silicon. As chipmakers increasingly design specialized processors for AI workloads and high-performance computing, ARM’s architecture has become an essential foundation for product development, supporting a healthy pipeline of new licensing agreements and long-term customer relationships.

Licensing and other revenues surged 29% year over year to $819 million, making it the primary driver of ARM’s top-line expansion during the quarter. Growth was supported by previously signed agreements, as well as the timing of several high-value licensing contracts.

Meanwhile, ARM’s royalty business continued to provide a stable stream of recurring revenues. Royalty revenues increased 11% year over year to $671 million, driven by broader adoption of Armv9, increasing deployment of Arm Compute Subsystems (CSS), and the growing use of Arm-based processors in data center infrastructure.

For investors, the takeaway is straightforward: strong licensing demand continues to strengthen Arm Holdings’ competitive position. As customers accelerate investments in AI infrastructure and next-generation computing, ARM appears well-positioned to benefit from a growing pipeline of licensing opportunities while simultaneously expanding its high-margin royalty base, providing multiple long-term drivers of sustainable growth.

How Arm Holdings Stacks Up Against Key U.S. PeersNVIDIA (NVDA - Free Report) dominates the AI accelerator market with its GPUs and networking platforms. Unlike Arm Holdings, which primarily generates revenue through licensing and royalties, NVIDIA designs and sells complete hardware and software solutions. While NVIDIA's growth is driven by direct chip sales, ARM benefits as more semiconductor companies adopt its CPU architecture to develop AI-optimized processors, making the two companies complementary in many AI deployments rather than direct competitors.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD - Free Report) competes in CPUs, GPUs and data center processors, focusing on designing and selling semiconductor products. ARM, in contrast, licenses its processor architecture to a broad ecosystem of chipmakers. As demand for custom AI chips and energy-efficient computing grows, AMD competes through product innovation, while ARM benefits from broader adoption of its intellectual property across multiple customers and end markets.

ARM’s Price Performance, Valuation and EstimatesThe stock has surged a massive 175% year to date, significantly underperforming the industry’s 46% rally.

During the first quarter of fiscal 2027, Nuuly generated $167.3 million in revenues, representing a 34.5% year-over-year increase. The performance was primarily driven by continued growth in subscribers, highlighting rising consumer acceptance of apparel rental as a complementary alternative to traditional retail.

Subscriber expansion remained the key growth catalyst. Average active subscribers increased 33% year over year, adding roughly 110,000 subscribers versus the prior-year period. Management noted that the platform is now approaching 500,000 active subscribers, reflecting sustained demand and effective customer acquisition efforts. Healthy retention rates, combined with targeted marketing campaigns, continue to support consistent subscriber growth and strengthen customer engagement.

Nuuly's financial performance also demonstrated improving operating efficiency. The business generated $10 million in operating profit, translating into a 6% operating margin during the quarter. Operating leverage from the expanding subscriber base more than offset continued investments in marketing, underscoring the platform's ability to scale profitably while maintaining a disciplined approach to long-term growth.

Garmin představil integrované letecké displeje AXIS
GRMN Garmin
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
First-of-its-kind system combines flight display, IFR GPS, NAV/COMM and audio panel capability into a single display for certified, experimental and LSA (MOSAIC) aircraft

, /PRNewswire/ -- Garmin (NYSE: GRMN) today announced AXIS™, an all-new family of flight displays, designed from the ground up to offer a highly integrated and flexible cockpit display solution. AXIS brings Garmin's latest avionics technology to certified piston-powered single and twin1 engine aircraft via an expansive AML STC covering hundreds of models, as well as experimental and LSA aircraft. In an industry-first, AXIS flight displays come in a variety of models that can include a built-in IFR GPS, NAV/COMM radio, and audio panel capability – creating an integrated solution that enhances the user experience, reduces aircraft weight, and simplifies installation. Also compatible with many of the same navigators, radios, modules and sensors as Garmin's popular G3X Touch™ flight displays, AXIS features an easy upgrade path, including leveraging the same panel cutouts and mounting points.

Garmin unveils AXIS, a new generation of highly integrated flight displays "AXIS redefines Garmin's flight display portfolio and brings industry-first capability to a single flight display. This game-changing flight display system delivers a modern, highly capable cockpit experience while significantly reducing time, complexity and cost of installation through integration of navigation, communication and audio functions into a single flight display. The visual design elements and crisp user interface bring together decades of Garmin innovation in a familiar yet modern design. AXIS sets the new standard for what pilots can expect from an integrated flight display system."
–Carl Wolf, Garmin Vice President Aviation Sales, Marketing, Programs & Support

A next-level flight display system

The AXIS family of flight displays features three display sizes — 11.6-inch landscape, 8-inch portrait1 and 8-inch landscape1— that include highly responsive touchscreen displays as well as physical controls for quick access to key functions. Each display can be configured as a primary flight display (PFD) or multi-function display (MFD) with an optional engine indication system (EIS). Pilots can maximize their situational awareness with full-screen or split-screen options, leveraging a familiar yet modernized user interface. The flight displays are configurable for both experimental and certified aircraft and provide incredible flexibility for installation across many aircraft types.

First-of-its-kind integration

AXIS 11.6-inch displays are optionally available with a TSO certified IFR GPS, COMM radio, NAV radio and audio panel all built into a single display. This combined capability from a single display creates a highly integrated panel experience and enables a simpler and more cost-effective installation. The VHF COMM radio offers 10 watts of transmit power, supports 8.33khz frequency tuning and standby COMM monitoring, allowing pilots to monitor a standby frequency while tuned to the active ATC frequency. Pilots can access the flight plan across displays and easily load waypoints or VORs, holds, GPS and ILS procedures and more. The built-in 4-place intercom audio panel includes dual-comm switching with support for one external radio, comm playback and Bluetooth capability for music and phone calls. Available in three certified (TSO) variants, the base version offers a PFD/MFD, while the GPS/COMM and GPS/NAV/COMM models include an IFR GPS and integrated audio panel. Experimental and LSA aircraft can leverage both certified and non-TSO versions of the 11.6-inch displays.

Enhanced situational awareness

Important information is easily accessible on the PFD including primary flight data, as well as the horizontal situation indicator (HSI) which can include an embedded map or traffic view. Widgets provide additional situational awareness on the PFD by displaying three compact views of MFD functions including map, flight plan, weather, traffic and more. Enhanced Synthetic Vision Technology (SVT™) provides 3D depictions of terrain, obstacles, runway and taxiway markings and more, allowing for pilots to clearly interpret their surroundings. Pathway rectangles will help pilots to visualize the highway in the sky, depicting their flight path including enroute legs, flight track, course intercepts and more. Additionally, 3D SafeTaxi® provides pilots with a three-dimensional, exocentric view of the airport environment directly on their PFD, reducing potential confusion by giving a clear, localized picture of taxiways, runways, hangars and surrounding buildings.

The MFD features dynamic mapping, ADS-B traffic2, weather2, waypoint information (including terminal charts) and expanded EIS. Additionally, an HDMI video input on each display allows for live-camera video monitoring.

Innovative safety tools

AXIS supports many of Garmin's award-winning safety enhancing technologies. A dedicated emergency button is located on the display bezel, allowing pilots to quickly access emergency procedure options if needed. Smart Glide™ – a Garmin Autonomí™ technology – helps pilots in loss of engine power emergencies by efficiently navigating to an airport in range and, if the aircraft is equipped with either a GFC™ 500 or GFC 600, the system can auto-engage to fly the aircraft enroute.

Terminal safety solutions include award-winning Runway Occupancy Awareness (ROA), a solution that uses ADS-B traffic to alert the crew of potential runway incursions caused by nearby airborne aircraft, taxiing aircraft and ground vehicles. Additionally, optional SurfaceWatch™ runway monitoring technology provides general situational awareness in airport environments as well as visual and aural cues to help prevent pilots from taking off or landing on a taxiway.

Advanced engine monitoring

The EIS within AXIS provides aircraft with real-time data to help better manage engine operation and protect aircraft engines. Large, prominent engine gauges provide color-coded pointers and data bands that indicate normal operating ranges, cautions and exceedances. Bar gauges display numerical values for additional precision. With an interface adapter and sensors, AXIS can serve as the primary EIS display in piston-powered aircraft equipped with most normally aspirated or turbocharged 4- to 6-cylinder engines, plus radial and turbine-powered experimental aircraft3. Upon landing, flight and engine data logs can be automatically uploaded to flyGarmin.com via the Garmin Pilot™ app or the GDL® 60 datalink1 and PlaneSync™ service. Pilots can optionally choose to share these logs with analysis services such as FlySto or SavvyAviation to gain deeper insights on engine health, maintenance updates, flight analysis and more.

Stay connected

Advanced connectivity options allow pilots to stay more connected than ever before. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allow pilots to connect with Garmin Pilot in-flight as well as share GPS, traffic, weather, flight plans and more. PlaneSync, powered by the GDL 60 datalink1, will support automatic database downloads3, remote aircraft status4 as well as automatic flight log uploading. Navitas uvádí na trh GaN a SiC pro 800V AI systémy
NVTS Navitas Semiconductor
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Key Takeaways NVTS is targeting 800V AI power systems with new GaN and SiC products for AI power systems.NVTS launched new GaN and SiC products, with multiple AI projects advancing toward commercial production.NVTS' AI infrastructure revenues rose 50% sequentially as high-power markets drove first-quarter growth. Navitas Semiconductor (NVTS - Free Report) is positioning itself to benefit from the growing shift toward 800-volt (800V) power architecture in AI data centers. As AI workloads become more power-intensive, hyperscalers are moving to higher-voltage power systems to improve efficiency and support higher power levels. This shift is expected to increase the demand for NVTS' gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC) power chips and create a significant growth opportunity for the company's high-power business.

The move to 800V power systems increases the amount of GaN and SiC content used in each AI system. Management expects power supply units to increase from about 5-10 kilowatts to 18.5 kilowatts for NVIDIA systems and up to 25-30 kilowatts for other hyperscalers. As power levels increase, Navitas expects the amount of SiC content per rack to increase by about 2.5 times. GaN demand is expected to rise as more power conversion moves inside AI racks, where higher efficiency and faster switching are needed. These factors create a larger revenue opportunity per AI system for NVTS.

To support this opportunity, Navitas has launched new GaN and SiC products for AI power systems. During the first quarter of 2026, the company launched a 20-kilowatt 800V-to-6V GaN platform for AI data centers and introduced new Gen 5 SiC products for AI power supplies. The above-mentioned products are being tested by OEMs and power supply vendors, and several projects have moved from device-level testing to board-level testing, bringing them closer to commercial production.

The AI opportunity is already supporting the company's business. Revenues in the first quarter increased 18% sequentially, driven by growth in high-power markets. Further, AI infrastructure revenues grew 50% sequentially, and the company expects this business to continue growing through 2026. As more AI data centers adopt 800V power systems, Navitas is well-positioned to benefit from higher chip content and increasing demand for its power semiconductor products.

How Competitors Fare Against NVTSThe company faces strong competition from ON Semiconductor (ON - Free Report) and STMicroelectronics (STM - Free Report) in the race to supply high-voltage solutions for AI data centers.

In June 2026, ON Semiconductor introduced GaNEXUS, a new GaN power semiconductor portfolio designed for AI data centers, industrial automation, robotics and energy infrastructure applications. This new portfolio includes GaNEXUS FETs with voltage ratings from 40V to 650V, along with 650V GaNEXUS Smart devices that include built-in protection features to simplify system design and improve reliability. The new devices provide faster switching speeds, lower switching losses, higher power density and better thermal performance than conventional silicon-based power devices to help customers build smaller and more efficient power systems.

STMicroelectronics introduced new 700V GaN power semiconductors in May 2026, designed to improve energy efficiency and power density in AI servers, robotics, industrial systems and advanced consumer applications. The new PowerGaN devices are designed for high-voltage power supplies and support reliable operation in high-power applications. The devices should help improve power conversion efficiency beyond what is possible with conventional silicon-based technologies.

SPCX po debutu v indexu Nasdaq-100 klesl na minimum od IPO
SPCX SpaceX
FMP Stock News 72
Original source text
Key Takeaways SPCX fell 6.8% on its Nasdaq-100 debut, closing at $149.47, its lowest level since IPO.Starlink, Starship and AI infrastructure plans are key growth engines for SpaceX's long-term story.SpaceX's $2T valuation and 36X forward sales multiple leave little room for execution missteps. Shares of Space Exploration Technologies (SPCX - Free Report) fell 6.8% yesterday on their first day as part of the Nasdaq-100 Index, closing at $149.47. The stock is now trading at its lowest level since its June 12 IPO and well below its closing high of $211.39.

SpaceX became one of the fastest companies to join the Nasdaq-100, but the milestone failed to provide the boost many investors had expected. Instead, the stock came under pressure as a broad technology selloff weighed on the sector.

The weakness was due to growing concerns over heavy AI-related spending, rising U.S. bond yields, higher oil prices and escalating tensions in the Middle East. Several technology stocks, including Marvell Technology (MRVL - Free Report) , Micron Technology (MU - Free Report) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD - Free Report) , also declined sharply yesterday.

Yesterday’s Price Decline  Image Source: Zacks Investment Research

With SpaceX now trading near its post-IPO lows, the key question is whether the recent pullback offers a compelling buying opportunity or signals further downside ahead.

Multiple Growth Engines Support SPCX’s Long-Term StorySpaceX's long-term growth story remains compelling, supported by multiple high-growth businesses.

The biggest growth driver is Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite Internet arm. It is benefiting from rising demand for broadband connectivity in underserved regions and is positioned to offer text, voice and data services directly to standard smartphones. The business generated more than $11.4 billion in revenues and $4.4 billion in operating income in fiscal 2025, highlighting its ability to generate meaningful profits while expanding globally.

Another major catalyst is Starship. Following its 12th successful test flight in May 2026, the next-generation launch vehicle is expected to carry much heavier payloads than Falcon 9. This would enable the deployment of larger Starlink satellites while significantly reducing the cost of delivering satellite bandwidth, improving the economics of the Starlink business over time.

SpaceX is also transforming into an AI infrastructure company following the acquisitions of xAI and X earlier this year. By combining AI models, large-scale computing infrastructure and satellite connectivity, the company is building an integrated platform that few competitors can match. It plans to launch AI compute satellites by 2028, paving the way for space-based data centers.

The company's growing presence in AI is already attracting major customers. Multi-billion-dollar computing agreements with Alphabet's Google and Anthropic provide long-term revenue visibility, while the planned acquisition of Anysphere, the company behind the AI coding assistant Cursor, strengthens its position in the fast-growing enterprise AI software market.

But Can We Look Past the Valuation Concerns? While SpaceX's long-term opportunities are significant, its valuation leaves little room for disappointment.

The company is currently valued at around $2 trillion despite generating just $4.69 billion in first-quarter revenues and incurring a net loss of $4.28 billion. On a forward 12-month basis, the stock trades at roughly 36 times sales, a rich premium even among high-growth technology companies.

Investors are paying for what SpaceX could become rather than what it is today. That optimism rests on Starlink's continued expansion, AI infrastructure, space-based data centers and Elon Musk's vision of building a company capable of generating $100 billion in annual revenues by 2028.

However, reaching that milestone will require flawless execution across multiple capital-intensive businesses. Also, history suggests that investors should treat Musk's timelines with caution. We know that many of Tesla's ambitious projects, including robotaxis and humanoid robots, have taken longer than initially projected. Likewise, many of SpaceX's biggest growth initiatives are still years away from making a meaningful financial contribution and will require huge investment before they begin generating attractive returns.

Is SpaceX Stock a Buy?SpaceX remains one of the most compelling long-term growth stories in the market. Few companies have leadership positions across commercial space, satellite connectivity and AI infrastructure, giving SPCX multiple avenues for expansion over the coming decade.

That said, much of this optimism already appears reflected in the stock's premium valuation. Even after the recent pullback, investors are still paying a steep price for future growth that will take years to materialize.

Having said that, for existing shareholders, the recent decline does not change the long-term investment thesis, making the stock worth holding through near-term volatility. Wall Street's average price target still implies roughly 35% upside from current levels.

However, new investors may be better served by waiting for a more attractive entry point. While SpaceX's long-term prospects remain attractive, the current valuation still offers a limited margin of safety, leaving little room for execution missteps or broader market weakness.

Meta spouští cloudový byznys, akcie vzrostly o 9 %
FB Meta Platforms
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Meta Platforms (META 1.76%) started the month with a bang. Its shares climbed 9% on July 1 after the company revealed that it will begin leasing some of its surplus computing power to customers. The launch of this new cloud computing business was in line with earlier comments from CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who said on Meta's first-quarter earnings conference call that the social media giant could sell some of its capacity at a premium if it feels that it has overbuilt for its in-house needs.

According to Bloomberg, Meta is still debating whether to offer AI models that run on its infrastructure, or simply sell direct access to computing power. Meta has developed its own large language models (LLMs), although they're primarily for internal use. Specifically, the company deploys these models to optimize its content recommendation engine, helping keep users on its sites longer, and to help advertisers better target and convert customers.

Earlier this week, it introduced its first image generation model: Muse Image, which was developed by its Superintelligence Lab, and which will work in conjunction with its Muse Spark text model. Muse Image will help power Meta's advertiser-focused image generation tools to help marketers more easily create and adjust ad campaigns. Muse Image will be available to consumers for free on a limited basis, and Meta will also offer a monthly subscription.

Offering both cloud computing capacity and its AI models would help Meta compete with Amazon, Microsoft, and Alphabet -- the world's three biggest cloud computing providers -- and provide the company with another revenue source. Most importantly, though, the announcement should help ease investors' concerns about the company's high spending on AI infrastructure. Meta has announced plans to spend up to $145 billion on capital expenditures (capex) this year, largely tied to its AI efforts. Creating a cloud computing arm would allow it to allocate and shift compute capacity between itself and customers, giving it more flexibility.

Is the stock a buy? In my view, Meta is one of the most undervalued mega-cap tech stocks in the market today. It trades at a forward price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of just 19 times 2026 analyst estimates and below 17 times 2027 estimates/ Meanwhile, in Q1, it grew its revenue by 33% year over year.

Meta has been one of the best companies at applying AI to its core business to drive growth, and its new cloud computing unit should help allay investors' fears about its capex plans. Given its valuation and growth, and the removal of that overhang, I would be a buyer of the stock at current levels.

Uber zvýšil hrubé rezervace a očekává další růst
UBER Uber
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Key Takeaways Uber's gross bookings rose 25% to $53.7B in Q1, topping the consensus estimate of $52.9B. Uber expects Q2 gross bookings of $56.25B-$57.75B, up 18-22% on a constant-currency basis. Uber benefits from strong Mobility and Delivery demand, Uber One growth and ongoing app improvements. Gross bookings at Uber Technologies (UBER - Free Report) , the San Francisco-based ride-hailing giant, continue to grow despite geopolitical tensions because demand for its services remains strong. Notwithstanding the current turbulent scenario, people need rides to go to work, airports, restaurants and events, while food and grocery delivery continues to be part of everyday life. Uber also benefits from operating in many countries, so weaknesses in one market are often offset by strengths in others.

In addition, the company's Uber One membership program, expanding delivery business and ongoing improvements in its app are encouraging customers to use the platform more often and spend more, helping drive higher gross bookings.

Higher gross bookings are benefiting Uber by increasing both revenues and profitability. As more customers use the platform, Uber earns more fees while keeping costs under control, allowing profits and free cash flow to grow faster. Strong booking growth also attracts more drivers and merchants to the platform, making the service more reliable and improving the customer experience.

Despite the crisis in the Middle East, UBER’s Mobility business saw impressive demand in first-quarter 2026, with segmental revenues increasing 5% year over year on a reported basis and 1% on a constant currency basis to $8.2 billion.

Gross bookings from the unit were highly impressive, aiding the first-quarter results. Gross bookings from the Mobility segment in the March quarter increased 20% year over year on a constant-currency basis to $26.4 billion. Uber’s Delivery business also performed well in the quarter, with segmental revenues growing 23% year over year on a constant-currency basis. Gross bookings from the Delivery segment in the first quarter rose 23% year over year on a constant-currency basis to $26 billion. Total gross bookings jumped 25% to $53.7 billion, ahead of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $52.9 billion.

The gross bookings forecast for the second quarter of 2026 is also very impressive, highlighting the bullishness surrounding the key metric. Despite the ongoing tensions in the Middle East and the resultant fuel price spike, gross bookings are projected in the range of $56.25-$57.75 billion, highlighting growth of 18% to 22% year over year on a constant-currency basis. The outlook assumes a roughly 2 percentage-point currency tailwind to total reported year-over-year growth.

Comparable Metrics of Other Ride-Hailing EntitiesGross bookings are strong at rival Lyft (LYFT - Free Report) as well, mainly owing to the growing active rider base, expansion into new markets and the success of its customer-friendly "Price Lock" feature. In the March quarter, gross bookings increased 19% year over year to $4.9 billion at Lyft. This was the 20th consecutive quarter where Lyft demonstrated double-digit year-on-year growth in the key metric, demonstrating the resilience and momentum of its customer-friendly strategy. Active Riders increased 17% year over year to 28.3 million.

For the second quarter of 2026, Lyft anticipates gross bookings to grow 18-21% year over year, reaching $5.3-$5.43 billion.

Singapore-based Grab (GRAB - Free Report) is benefiting from strong growth in its On-Demand Gross Merchandise Value (“GMV”). On-Demand GMV refers to the sum of GMV of the mobility and deliveries segments. In the first quarter of 2026, On-Demand GMV increased 21% year over year (on a constant currency basis) at Grab. Grab expects 2026 revenues between $4.04 billion and $4.1 billion, indicating 20-22% year-over-year growth.

UBER’s Share Price Performance, Valuation and EstimatesShares of UBER have declined in double digits over the past six months. Courtesy of the downbeat performance, UBER’s shares have underperformed the Zacks Internet-Services industry over the same time frame.

6-Month Price ComparisonImage Source: Zacks Investment Research

From a valuation standpoint, UBER trades at a 12-month forward price-to-sales of 2.42X. UBER is inexpensive compared with its industry.
