Natural Gas Still Rules U.S. Power: 1 Large-Cap & 1 Small-Cap Pick
KMI Kinder Morgan
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Natural gas is expected to supply 40% of U.S. power generation in 2026, per the EIA.Kinder Morgan expects U.S. natural gas demand to rise 27% to 150 Bcf/d by 2031.Natural Gas Services is seeing high fleet utilization, record rental revenue and compression demand. Electricity demand is likely to remain strong, supported by rapidly expanding data centers and growing air-conditioning needs. In the United States, the world’s largest economy, natural gas continues to remain in the spotlight as a key source of power generation.

In this context, let’s take a closer look at two energy players — large-cap Kinder Morgan (KMI - Free Report) and small-cap Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. (NGS - Free Report) — to see whether they offer compelling value.

Natural Gas Dominates U.S. Electricity GenerationNatural gas is a relatively cleaner source of fuel, given its lower emissions of pollutants. Among all the energy sources, natural gas was responsible for 40% of electricity generation in the United States in 2025, per data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). In 2026, the proportion will also be 40%, as mentioned in EIA’s latest short-term energy outlook.

By comparison, for this year, the contributions of coal, nuclear, and conventional hydropower are likely to be much lower at 16%, 18%, and 6%, respectively, per EIA’s predictions. Thus, for electricity generation, the United States is still largely dependent on natural gas. Hence, it would be ideal for investors to allocate money toward energy companies that are tied to businesses related to natural gas transportation, compression and production.

Image Source: The U.S. Energy Information Administration

2 Stocks in the Spotlight: KMI, NGSBeing a leading midstream energy company, Kinder Morgan is well-positioned to benefit from the increasing demand for natural gas both in the United States and worldwide. KMI’s assets comprise the largest transportation network of natural gas in the United States and are responsible for transporting roughly 40% of all the gas produced in the domestic market.

KMI, on its first-quarter 2026 earnings call, expressed expectations that U.S. natural gas demand would surge, driven by rising electricity demand from data centers. Kinder Morgan, currently carrying a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy), expects the demand to jump 27% to 150 billion cubic feet per day by 2031 from this year's level. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

Growing natural gas consumption for U.S. electricity generation could lead to higher production and greater transportation of gas through energy infrastructure. This should support #2 Ranked Natural Gas Services, as its compression equipment helps gas flow through the system, while the company has also pointed to rising production and midstream expansion as drivers of stronger compression demand.

NGS appears well placed to benefit from this trend. Its fleet is already seeing high utilization and record rental revenue, and the company continues to add large-horsepower units backed by long-term contracts. The Flatrock acquisition further expands its compression capacity and improves its presence in major producing regions, including the Permian and Eagle Ford.

VLO vs KMI: Which Energy Pick Offers a Better Investment Opportunity?
KMI Kinder Morgan
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways VLO has rallied 47.4% in six months, outpacing KMI's 18.3% gain amid stronger refining fundamentals.Valero benefits from discounted heavy crude, tight global refining capacity and low product inventories.KMI offers stability, with 96% of cash flows take-or-pay, fee-based or hedged against volatility. Valero Energy Corporation (VLO - Free Report) and Kinder Morgan (KMI - Free Report) are two leading players in the energy industry with contrasting business operations. KMI is a midstream energy player that owns and operates a vast storage and transportation network, comprising nearly 78,000 miles of pipelines, 136 terminals and over 700 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.

On the other hand, Valero Energy is a leading firm in the downstream sector, with an extensive refining footprint. Notably, VLO operates a network of 14 refineries with approximately 3 million barrels per day of high-complexity throughput capacity. Its combined Nelson Complexity Index of 11.5 indicates that the company can process and refine a wide variety of feedstocks into higher-value products.

Over the past six months, VLO shares have rallied 47.4%, outperforming KMI’s 18.3% gain. Price performance alone does not fully indicate a stock’s attractiveness or strength, as it merely reflects investor sentiment across market cycles. Hence, it is necessary to assess the fundamentals and broader operating environment of both stocks before arriving at an investment decision.

Valero Benefits From Heavy Crude Discounts & Refining FundamentalsValero Energy stands out as a premier refining operator with an advantaged refining portfolio mainly concentrated in the U.S. Gulf Coast. This enables the company to benefit from access to discounted heavy crude, export infrastructure and exposure to global product markets.

In its first-quarter earnings call, VLO mentioned that the supply of incremental heavy crude barrels from Venezuela led to wider crude differentials. This trend was further amplified during the Middle East crisis, as certain heavy crude grades, including Canadian heavy crude, began trading at deeper discounts, and its Gulf Coast refining network enabled it to take advantage of discounted heavy sour barrels. This is expected to act as a tailwind for its refining business moving into the second quarter.

Additionally, its complex refining system is capable of processing heavy sour grades into high-value refined products efficiently. The flexibility of Valero’s refinery systems allows it to shift product yields between light products and distillates based on market signals to capture higher margins during volatile periods. This gives the refining player a competitive edge, as it can shift its production toward higher-margin products.

The macroeconomic backdrop also remains favorable. Management noted that global refining capacity remains constrained and the global demand is expected to surpass new capacity additions by year-end. The recent conflict has made this tightening even more pronounced by disrupting global energy flows. Moreover, low product inventories in key markets are expected to support refining fundamentals and keep margins steady.

Natural Gas Demand Growth Strengthens Kinder Morgan’s OutlookKinder Morgan offers a compelling investment case by providing a low-risk path to gain exposure to the structural growth in U.S. natural gas demand. The company combines an extensive natural gas infrastructure footprint, highly contracted cash flows, a large and attractive growth backlog, and growing shareholder returns. KMI’s large natural gas transmission network transports approximately 40% of the U.S. natural gas production.

The natural gas growth story is supported by strong energy market fundamentals, including rising LNG exports and power demand. Kinder Morgan’s assets are well-positioned to support growth in LNG exports, particularly along the export hubs in Texas and the Louisiana Gulf Coast. KMI already has long-term contracts to move 8 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) to LNG facilities and expects this figure to surpass 12 Bcf/d by the end of 2028. More than 20% of the company’s $10.1 billion contracted project backlog is directed toward serving LNG demand, and management indicated that it is actively pursuing additional opportunities.

Additionally, growing gas-fired power demand is creating incremental demand for natural gas, creating an opportunity for KMI to capitalize on. Kinder Morgan highlighted that about 60% of its $10.1 billion contracted project backlog is directed toward power generation and utility demand. The company is actively pursuing projects to serve more than 10 Bcf/d of additional natural gas demand in the power sector. Additionally, the expansion of data centers, the replacement of coal-fired power plants and population migration and growth in the Southern U.S. are expected to enhance the strategic value of KMI’s pipeline and storage assets.

Moreover, as a leading player in the midstream space, Kinder Morgan generates stable and predictable cash flows. KMI has highlighted that 96% of its cash flows are either take-or-pay, fee-based or hedged. Notably, 65% of cash flows are tied to take-or-pay contracts and 26% of the cash flow mix comes from fee-based contracts. Only 4% of its total cash flows are unhedged and are exposed to commodity price volatility. This enables the company to remain resilient and maintain competitive shareholder returns through business cycles.

Valuation SnapshotConsidering the valuation snapshot, it has become evident that Valero Energy is currently trading at a discount compared with Kinder Morgan. This is reflected in the fact that VLO trades at a trailing 12-month enterprise value to EBITDA (EV/EBITDA) of 7.25X, below KMI’s 13.96X.

VLO vs KMI: Should You Buy or Wait?VLO and KMI have contrasting business models and, consequently, offer different strengths. VLO offers stronger upside potential in the current environment due to constrained refining capacity globally and its strategic advantage of shifting product yields based on market signals to capture higher margins. Meanwhile, Kinder Morgan provides greater business stability through contracted cash flows and a low-risk way to participate in the natural gas growth story.

Both VLO and KMI carry a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). However, VLO is trading at a more attractive valuation, making it a better choice for investors at present. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) Is a Trending Stock: Facts to Know Before Betting on It
KMI Kinder Morgan
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Kinder Morgan (KMI - Free Report) has recently been on Zacks.com's list of the most searched stocks. Therefore, you might want to consider some of the key factors that could influence the stock's performance in the near future.

Over the past month, shares of this oil and natural gas pipeline and storage company have returned -5.7%, compared to the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +1.4% change. During this period, the Zacks Oil and Gas - Production and Pipelines industry, which Kinder Morgan falls in, has lost 4.2%. The key question now is: What could be the stock's future direction?

While media releases or rumors about a substantial change in a company's business prospects usually make its stock 'trending' and lead to an immediate price change, there are always some fundamental facts that eventually dominate the buy-and-hold decision-making.

Revisions to Earnings EstimatesHere at Zacks, we prioritize appraising the change in the projection of a company's future earnings over anything else. That's because we believe the present value of its future stream of earnings is what determines the fair value for its stock.

Our analysis is essentially based on how sell-side analysts covering the stock are revising their earnings estimates to take the latest business trends into account. When earnings estimates for a company go up, the fair value for its stock goes up as well. And when a stock's fair value is higher than its current market price, investors tend to buy the stock, resulting in its price moving upward. Because of this, empirical studies indicate a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and short-term stock price movements.

For the current quarter, Kinder Morgan is expected to post earnings of $0.31 per share, indicating a change of +10.7% from the year-ago quarter. The Zacks Consensus Estimate has changed -1.6% over the last 30 days.

For the current fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $1.49 points to a change of +14.6% from the prior year. Over the last 30 days, this estimate has remained unchanged.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $1.51 indicates a change of +1.2% from what Kinder Morgan is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has remained unchanged.

Having a strong externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, offers a more conclusive picture of a stock's price direction in the near term, since it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. Due to the size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, Kinder Morgan is rated Zacks Rank #2 (Buy).

The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:

12 Month EPS

Revenue Growth ForecastEven though a company's earnings growth is arguably the best indicator of its financial health, nothing much happens if it cannot raise its revenues. It's almost impossible for a company to grow its earnings without growing its revenue for long periods. Therefore, knowing a company's potential revenue growth is crucial.

In the case of Kinder Morgan, the consensus sales estimate of $4.29 billion for the current quarter points to a year-over-year change of +6.2%. The $18.17 billion and $19.07 billion estimates for the current and next fiscal years indicate changes of +7.3% and +4.9%, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryKinder Morgan reported revenues of $4.83 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +13.8%. EPS of $0.48 for the same period compares with $0.34 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $4.65 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +3.76%. The EPS surprise was +26.32%.

Over the last four quarters, Kinder Morgan surpassed consensus EPS estimates two times. The company topped consensus revenue estimates each time over this period.

ValuationWithout considering a stock's valuation, no investment decision can be efficient. In predicting a stock's future price performance, it's crucial to determine whether its current price correctly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects.

While comparing the current values of a company's valuation multiples, such as price-to-earnings (P/E), price-to-sales (P/S), and price-to-cash flow (P/CF), with its own historical values helps determine whether its stock is fairly valued, overvalued, or undervalued, comparing the company relative to its peers on these parameters gives a good sense of the reasonability of the stock's price.

As part of the Zacks Style Scores system, the Zacks Value Style Score (which evaluates both traditional and unconventional valuation metrics) organizes stocks into five groups ranging from A to F (A is better than B; B is better than C; and so on), making it helpful in identifying whether a stock is overvalued, rightly valued, or temporarily undervalued.

Kinder Morgan is graded D on this front, indicating that it is trading at a premium to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

Bottom LineThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Kinder Morgan. However, its Zacks Rank #2 does suggest that it may outperform the broader market in the near term.

Kinder Morgan vs. NextDecade: Which Energy Stock Is a Better Buy in 2026?
KMI Kinder Morgan
FMP Stock News
Original source text
The energy sector offers various ways to invest, from established pipeline giants to emerging export players.

Kinder Morgan (KMI +0.83%) operates as the backbone of North American energy infrastructure through its vast pipeline network. NextDecade (NEXT 5.77%) is building its future on the Rio Grande liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal in Texas. Investors often compare these two energy companies because they both provide critical links in the natural gas value chain, albeit at different stages of maturity. Deciding which one to invest in depends on your personal appetite for risk and income.

The case for Kinder MorganKinder Morgan is among the largest midstream energy companies, managing nearly 78,000 miles of pipelines and 136 terminals. The company transports nearly 40% of the natural gas consumed in the U.S., providing essential services to power plants, local distribution companies, and industrial users. Because no single customer accounts for more than 10% of total revenue, the business avoids heavy concentration risk and maintains a diversified stream of service-based income.

In FY 2025, Kinder Morgan’s revenue grew 12% to $16.9 billion, and net income came in at $3.1 billion. That’s a healthy net margin of 18%. The upward trend in revenue and net income suggests that this energy dividend stock is effectively capturing demand as it expands its natural gas and renewable operations.

The debt-to-equity ratio was approximately 1.0x as of the December 2025 balance sheet. This metric, which compares total debt to shareholder equity, suggests a balanced financing mix for its capital-intensive operations. During FY 2025, Kinder Morgan generated free cash flow of nearly $3.2 billion, which is the cash remaining after the company pays for its operations and capital expenditures, highlighting its ability to generate consistent cash.

The case for NextDecadeNextDecade is a development-stage company focused on the Rio Grande LNG facility in South Texas, which aims to become a major hub for global natural gas exports. The project currently has eight liquefaction trains in various stages of construction or development, targeting a total capacity of approximately 48 million tonnes per annum. The company has already secured long-term purchase agreements with 14 creditworthy customers, providing a foundation for future cash flows once the facility begins commercial operations.

Since the Rio Grande facility hasn’t commenced its primary shipping operations, NextDecade isn’t generating any meaningful commercial revenue yet. It reported a net loss of $306.4 million in FY 2025, reflecting the high overhead and development costs required to bring a massive export terminal online in a competitive global market.

The balance sheet as of December 2025 showed a debt-to-equity ratio of roughly 90.8x. This value indicates that the company's total liabilities, including both short-term and long-term debt, significantly exceed its total shareholder equity. Free cash flow for FY 2025 was a negative $5 billion, a figure that reflects the intensive capital spending required to build out the liquefaction trains before any revenue is generated.

Risk profile comparisonKinder Morgan earns fees under long-term contracts and therefore faces little risk from commodity price volatility. But building these pipelines requires massive amounts of money and can saddle the company with debt. Kinder Mirgan must also navigate complex regulatory environments, where decisions by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission could result in lower tariff rates or forced refunds.

NextDecade faces a different set of challenges, chiefly the risk that its Rio Grande LNG facility could incur cost overruns or construction delays. The project is also subject to ongoing litigation in the D.C. Circuit, where legal challenges to its authorizations could potentially halt progress. Furthermore, the company relies on U.S.-sourced natural gas remaining cheaper than international alternatives to stay competitive against rivals like Cheniere Energy (LNG 1.89%).

Valuation comparisonKinder Morgan appears more attractively valued for conservative investors based on its Forward P/E, whereas NextDecade lacks a traditional P/S ratio.

Valuation metrics sourced from Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) and may differ from other data providers.

Comparing Kinder Morgan and NextDecade is a choice between a stable, recession-proof income machine and a high-stakes, hyper-growth energy infrastructure play.

Kinder Morgan is a $70 billion midstream giant controlling a significant portion of all U.S. natural gas movement. It operates as a toll booth, signing long-term, fee-based take-or-pay contracts with oil and gas producers. Earnings continue to flow even when oil and gas prices fluctuate, making Kinder Morgan fairly resilient to commodity cycles. That also explains why the company can regularly increase dividends — it has done so for nine consecutive years now.

NextDecade is a more speculative stock, although the upside could be massive. Demand for LNG is projected to rise exponentially in the coming years. Rio Grande is expected to be one of the world's largest LNG export terminals. Although the first LNG shipments aren’t expected before 2027, NextDecade has already locked in big energy companies as customers for the bulk of the estimated LNG production from the first few units. That shows the demand for LNG, and the kind of opportunities ahead for NextDecade.

If I had the option to buy only one stock today, I’d pick NextDecade simply because of the growth optionality. The LNG stock certainly carries a much higher risk than Kinder Morgan, but both are eventually natural gas plays in the long run. Where things stand now, demand for LNG is expected to skyrocket, especially from markets such as the Asia-Pacific.

KMI's Stable Cash Flows Back Growth Investments & Shareholder Returns
KMI Kinder Morgan
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Kinder Morgan's 96% contracted or hedged cash flows anchor dividends and growth investments.Kinder Morgan generated $1.49B in first-quarter operating cash flow as leverage ratio fell to 3.6x.KMI plans about $2.7B in 2026 dividends after a ninth consecutive year of annual dividend increase. Kinder Morgan’s (KMI - Free Report) financial position is anchored by its steady cash flows and highly contracted business model. The company has stated that 96% of its cash flows are either take-or-pay, fee-based or hedged. Notably, 65% of cash flows are tied to take-or-pay contracts and 26% of the cash flow mix comes from fee-based contracts. During the first quarter, Kinder Morgan generated $1.49 billion in cash flow from operations, enabling it to fund dividends, capital expenditures and growth investments.

Additionally, the company’s growing cash flows and disciplined capital allocation approach enabled it to enhance its balance sheet strength and lower its net debt-to-adjusted EBITDA ratio to 3.6x from 3.8x at the beginning of the year. A stronger balance sheet gives the company the financial flexibility to continue investing in growth opportunities while maintaining returns to shareholders.

Kinder Morgan expects to return approximately $2.7 billion to shareholders through dividends in 2026. In the first quarter, KMI declared a quarterly dividend of 29.75 cents per share, implying an annualized dividend of $1.19 and marking the ninth consecutive year of dividend increase. The company has also returned nearly $23 billion to shareholders over the past decade through dividends and share repurchases. This demonstrates the company’s long-term commitment to rewarding shareholders. The combination of financial discipline, predictable earnings and stable cash flows positions Kinder Morgan to continue delivering value to investors across market cycles.

More Energy Sector Players Focus on Shareholder ReturnsSunoco LP (SUN - Free Report) is a wholesale motor fuel distributor in the United States, distributing motor fuels of several brands through long-term distribution agreements with nearly 9,000 distribution facilities, which support steady cash flows. The partnership declared a distribution of 98.99 cents per unit in the first quarter of 2026, marking a sequential increase of 6.25% or a 10% increase from the prior-quarter figure of 89.76 cents per unit. For 2026, the partnership aims to meet its distribution growth target of at least 5%. This reflects the partnership’s strong commitment to returning capital to unitholders.

Antero Midstream (AM - Free Report) provides integrated midstream services to the leading natural gas producer, Antero Resources Corporation, under long-term contracts. This enables the midstream player to generate stable earnings and cash flows. Antero Midstream continues to return capital to shareholders through a combination of dividends and share repurchases. The company repurchased 1.0 million shares under its authorized share repurchase program in the first quarter of 2026. This reflects the company’s commitment to returning capital to shareholders.

Global Stem Cells Group (OTC:RMTG) Launches ISSCA Mobile App, Advancing Its Buildout of a Global Digital Ecosystem for Regenerative Medicine
FL Foot Locker
FMP Stock News
Original source text
New physician-facing platform digitizes a 30+ country network and lays the foundation for ISSCA AI™, positioning RMTG at the intersection of regenerative medicine and scalable health technology

MIAMI, FL / ACCESS Newswire / June 17, 2026 / Global Stem Cells Group, operating under Regenerative Medical Technologies Group, Inc. (OTCID:RMTG) (the "Company"), today announced the launch of the ISSCA Mobile App - a physician-facing digital platform developed by ISSCA (International Society for Stem Cell Application), the Company's education and training division. The App is a deliberate move up the value chain: from delivering training and clinical services into owning the recurring digital infrastructure that connects physicians, education, and clinical innovation across global markets.

Management views this as a milestone moment for RMTG - the point at which a respected, in-person training organization begins converting a hard-won global physician network into a connected, always-on digital ecosystem with far greater scalability and reach.

Why This Matters for RMTG and Its Shareholders

For more than 15 years, ISSCA has built relationships, protocols, and credibility across the regenerative medicine community. The ISSCA App is designed to put that entire ecosystem - education, certification, collaboration, and event access - into the pocket of every physician in the network, available on demand. The Company believes this is a structurally more powerful and more durable model than in-person events alone.

Critically, a digital-first model is built to scale. Adding the next physician, the next country, or the next certification program to a mobile platform carries a fraction of the marginal cost of physical events. The Company believes this dynamic - expanding reach while improving operating leverage - is exactly the kind of foundation that can support long-term, sustainable growth.

A Strategic Shift Toward a Connected Digital Ecosystem

With the launch of the ISSCA App, Global Stem Cells Group continues to expand beyond traditional training and clinical services into a technology-enabled ecosystem model. The Company believes centralized digital platforms can strengthen the connection between physicians, education, and clinical innovation, enabling more continuous engagement across global markets.

The ISSCA App is designed to allow physicians to:

Access on-demand regenerative medicine training and protocols

Participate in live and recorded webinars

Track certifications and professional credentials

Engage in physician-only collaboration environments

Stay connected to ISSCA events, summits, and certification programs

Each of these touchpoints is an opportunity for deeper, more frequent engagement - and the Company believes deeper engagement is the foundation of a more loyal, more active, and more monetizable physician network over time.

Digitizing a Global Physician Network Spanning 30+ Countries

Through ISSCA, Global Stem Cells Group has developed a physician network across more than 30 countries, combining education, clinical protocols, and product access into a unified model. The ISSCA App represents a direct effort to digitize this network - transforming a collection of in-person relationships into an interactive, always-available community.

The Company believes this is one of its most strategically valuable assets. A global, engaged physician network is difficult for competitors to replicate, and digitizing it is intended to compound that advantage by enabling continuous interaction well beyond the limits of traditional events and travel.

Riding a Powerful Industry Tailwind

The launch of the ISSCA App aligns with broad, accelerating trends across healthcare, where digital and mobile-first solutions are becoming increasingly central. Industry observations suggest that:

Physicians increasingly seek flexible, on-demand educational resources

Clinical knowledge continues to evolve rapidly, particularly in regenerative and longevity medicine

Digital communities are emerging as compelling alternatives to traditional learning models

The Company believes that consolidating education, certification, and collaboration into a single, specialized platform positions RMTG to capture demand that legacy, in-person-only models are not built to serve.

Executive Commentary

Benito Novas, CEO of Global Stem Cells Group, commented:

"We believe the future of medicine is increasingly connected, and the ISSCA App is a major step in that direction for our Company. Our intention is to build a global network where physicians can access education, collaborate, and remain engaged in real time - and to do it on a platform that can scale with us. We see this as the foundation of a more integrated, accessible, and valuable medical ecosystem, and we are excited about what it means for the future of RMTG."

A Differentiated Competitive Position

The ISSCA App has been developed with a focused emphasis on regenerative and longevity medicine - a deliberately specialized approach the Company believes is supported by:

A specialized focus on advanced biologics and regenerative protocols

Integration of education, certification, and networking into one platform

Access to a global roster of experts and practical clinical knowledge

A scalable model purpose-built to support an expanding physician network

Rather than competing as a generalist platform, the Company is concentrating where it already holds credibility and relationships. Management believes this specialization is a meaningful and defensible differentiator.

Building Toward ISSCA AI™: The Next Layer of Value

Importantly, the ISSCA App is expected to serve as the foundation for future integration with ISSCA AI™, the Company's clinical intelligence platform. The Company expects that, over time, these technologies may converge into a more connected ecosystem where physicians can:

Learn through digital education platforms

Collaborate within a global network

Utilize AI-supported tools to assist in clinical decision-making

The Company believes this layered roadmap - network, then platform, then applied AI - represents a compelling long-term growth story, and one that few competitors in the regenerative medicine space are positioned to pursue.

Market Perspective

Global Stem Cells Group operates within a growing regenerative medicine and digital health landscape, supported by:

Increased interest in biologics and cellular therapies

Growing demand for personalized and longevity-focused approaches

The need for scalable physician education and support systems

The Company believes the ISSCA App can support physician engagement, drive participation in training programs, and accelerate expansion into new markets over time - reinforcing RMTG's strategy of combining clinical services, education, biologics, and digital infrastructure into a single, integrated ecosystem.

Ondas to Acquire Cyberhawk, Expanding into Critical Infrastructure Intelligence Through Software, Data and AI
FL Foot Locker
FMP Stock News
Original source text
95% cash funded transaction expands Ondas' dual-use capabilities with an autonomous infrastructure intelligence platform combining scaled drone inspection services, AI-enabled asset analytics, and enterprise visualization software

Cyberhawk's blue-chip utility and energy customer base underpins strong growth and high-reoccurring revenue in the industrial and critical infrastructure markets

Cyberhawk brings operations in 40 countries, 300+ customers, $45+ million in forecasted revenues in FY ending March 2027 with ~95% reoccurring revenue, high single digit EBITDA margins that management believes can expand to 25%+ by 2030 and $95 million backlog

WEST PALM BEACH, FL / ACCESS Newswire / June 18, 2026 / Ondas Inc. (Nasdaq:ONDS) ("Ondas" or the "Company"), a leading provider of advanced autonomous systems and next-generation defense and security technologies, announced today it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Cyberhawk, a global leader in critical infrastructure intelligence, drone-based inspection, visual data management and AI-enabled analytics serving utility, energy and industrial customers worldwide. Under the terms of the agreement, the transaction is valued at approximately $125 million. Approximately 95% of the purchase price will be funded in cash, with certain members of the Cyberhawk leadership team electing to roll approximately $5 million of proceeds into Ondas common stock, with a one-year lock-up, subject to certain exceptions. The acquisition is expected to close during the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

Cyberhawk has established a market-leading critical infrastructure intelligence platform serving blue-chip customers including PG&E, Southern California Edison, Shell, SSE, ESB, Qatar Energy and Bechtel. The company has inspected more than 500,000 infrastructure assets and accumulated over 232 terabytes of proprietary infrastructure inspection data, creating a significant foundation for AI-driven analytics and operational intelligence.

The acquisition will propel Ondas into expanding industrial infrastructure markets, advancing its strategy to build a category-defining autonomous intelligence platform across defense, security and critical infrastructure sectors. By combining Cyberhawk's infrastructure intelligence platform, proprietary data assets, AI-enabled analytics and cloud-based iHawk software with Ondas' autonomous systems, mission automation technologies and sensing capabilities, the combined company is expected to deliver an integrated platform spanning autonomous data collection, digital-twin visualization, asset intelligence and AI-driven operational decision support. Increasingly, critical infrastructure resilience, energy security and industrial continuity are national security priorities, creating demand for integrated autonomous intelligence solutions across both government and commercial markets. The acquisition positions Ondas at the intersection of these converging markets.

"Cyberhawk is a market leader in critical infrastructure intelligence and represents a transformative addition to Ondas," said Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas. "The company has built a highly differentiated platform combining software, data, AI-enabled analytics and deep domain expertise across some of the world's most important utility and energy networks. We believe critical infrastructure resilience, energy security and industrial continuity are increasingly national security priorities, creating a large and growing opportunity for integrated autonomous intelligence solutions."

"The acquisition will significantly expand Ondas' presence in critical infrastructure markets while strengthening our position as a dual-use technology company serving defense, security and industrial customers. We believe dual-use business models create powerful advantages through shared technology development, larger addressable markets, operational efficiencies, and broader customer adoption. By combining Cyberhawk's leadership in infrastructure intelligence with Ondas' autonomous systems, sensing and mission automation technologies, we believe we will create a category-defining autonomous intelligence platform that delivers substantial value for customers and shareholders."

Founded in 2008, Cyberhawk has established a leadership position in critical infrastructure intelligence through its integrated software, analytics and inspection platform. The company's cloud-native iHawk platform enables customers to visualize, manage and analyze complex infrastructure assets through digital-twin workflows, geospatial intelligence, asset tracking and AI-assisted analytics. Over nearly two decades, Cyberhawk has built a substantial proprietary dataset across utility, energy, renewable and industrial infrastructure environments, creating a powerful foundation for future AI-driven applications including predictive maintenance, defect detection and asset-health intelligence. iHawk serves as a system of record for infrastructure inspection, visualization and asset-health management across complex enterprise environments.

"Cyberhawk has been at the forefront of drone-enabled inspection since 2008", said Chris Fleming, founder and CEO of Cyberhawk. "Long before the technology was widely understood. We built the company from the ground up, scaling globally and proving both the commercial model and the real-world value of autonomous inspection. Today, we're excited to join forces with Ondas to accelerate the adoption of this technology - improving data quality while fundamentally reducing risk and human exposure across critical infrastructure."

The acquisition is expected to provide Ondas with immediate scale in utility and energy infrastructure markets and expand the Company's access to some of the world's largest critical infrastructure operators. The combined platform is expected to create meaningful opportunities to deploy autonomous monitoring, AI-enabled analytics, digital-twin technologies and advanced sensing solutions across a growing installed base of enterprise customers. Longer term, Ondas believes the combination may support broader infrastructure intelligence applications integrating aerial, ground-based and stratospheric sensing capabilities across critical infrastructure environments.

"Cyberhawk represents a highly strategic addition to Ondas as we continue executing our growth plan around autonomous platforms, software, and integrated customer workflows," said Mark Green, Global Head of Corporate Development and M&A at Ondas. "Cyberhawk brings a reoccurring revenue profile, strong customer retention, a differentiated software platform, and a leadership position in utility infrastructure intelligence. This acquisition is expected to create immediate customer and technology synergies, integrating Cyberhawk's specialized software with Ondas' core capabilities. Ultimately, this combination will further broaden our dual-use focus, strengthening our reach across both defense and critical infrastructure markets as we deliver end-to-end autonomous inspection and operational intelligence solutions at scale".

Cyberhawk is expected to generate more than $45 million of revenue during its fiscal year ending March 2027 with high-single digit EBITDA margins which we expect will grow to 25%+ by 2030. This acquisition significantly enhances Ondas' revenue scale and reoccurring revenue profile. The company generates approximately 95% reoccurring revenue through multi-year customer contracts and software subscriptions and maintains a backlog of $95 million across utility, renewable energy and energy infrastructure markets. While software represents a minority of Cyberhawk's total revenue, its iHawk platform contributes disproportionately to profitability and provides significant opportunities for future growth through expanded analytics offerings, AI-enabled workflows and increased software adoption across the installed customer base.

Ondas believes Cyberhawk has established a powerful infrastructure intelligence flywheel in which proprietary inspection data, enterprise software workflows and AI-enabled analytics reinforce one another over time. The Company believes this combination of software, data assets, domain expertise and embedded customer relationships creates a differentiated platform that will be increasingly difficult to replicate as infrastructure intelligence markets continue to evolve.

Cyberhawk will continue operating its existing inspection, software and analytics businesses without interruption following closing. Ondas intends to support continued investment in Cyberhawk's leadership team, global delivery capabilities, and cloud-based iHawk platform. The transaction is expected to accelerate Cyberhawk's growth while preserving the customer focus, domain expertise and operational excellence that have defined the company since its founding.

Together, Ondas and Cyberhawk will build a category-defining autonomous intelligence platform that connects sensing, data collection, visualization, analytics and AI-driven decision support across defense, security and critical infrastructure markets worldwide.

Lincoln International LLP acted as exclusive financial advisor to shareholders of Cyberhawk Holdings Limited.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL / ACCESS Newswire / June 18, 2026 / ELEKTROS Inc. (OTC Pink:ELEK), publicly traded under ticker symbol ELEK, today expressed its sincere appreciation to shareholders, supporters, and investors worldwide as growing market awareness continues to shine a spotlight on the Company's long-term vision involving hard rock lithium mining and patented electric vehicle charging technology.

As global financial markets continue demonstrating strength and resilience, management believes investor interest in lithium supply chains, electric vehicle infrastructure, and emerging energy technologies continues to expand throughout the worldwide investment community.

Is Sunrun (RUN) a Buy as Wall Street Analysts Look Optimistic?
RUN Sunrun
FMP Stock News
Original source text
When deciding whether to buy, sell, or hold a stock, investors often rely on analyst recommendations. Media reports about rating changes by these brokerage-firm-employed (or sell-side) analysts often influence a stock's price, but are they really important?

Let's take a look at what these Wall Street heavyweights have to say about Sunrun (RUN - Free Report) before we discuss the reliability of brokerage recommendations and how to use them to your advantage.

Sunrun currently has an average brokerage recommendation (ABR) of 2.00, on a scale of 1 to 5 (Strong Buy to Strong Sell), calculated based on the actual recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell, etc.) made by 25 brokerage firms. An ABR of 2.00 indicates Buy.

Of the 25 recommendations that derive the current ABR, 13 are Strong Buy and one is Buy. Strong Buy and Buy respectively account for 52% and 4% of all recommendations.

Brokerage Recommendation Trends for RUN

Check price target & stock forecast for Sunrun here>>>

The ABR suggests buying Sunrun, but making an investment decision solely on the basis of this information might not be a good idea. According to several studies, brokerage recommendations have little to no success guiding investors to choose stocks with the most potential for price appreciation.

Do you wonder why? As a result of the vested interest of brokerage firms in a stock they cover, their analysts tend to rate it with a strong positive bias. According to our research, brokerage firms assign five "Strong Buy" recommendations for every "Strong Sell" recommendation.

This means that the interests of these institutions are not always aligned with those of retail investors, giving little insight into the direction of a stock's future price movement. It would therefore be best to use this information to validate your own analysis or a tool that has proven to be highly effective at predicting stock price movements.

With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, which classifies stocks into five groups, ranging from Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) to Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell), is a reliable indicator of a stock's near-term price performance. So, validating the Zacks Rank with ABR could go a long way in making a profitable investment decision.

ABR Should Not Be Confused With Zacks RankIn spite of the fact that Zacks Rank and ABR both appear on a scale from 1 to 5, they are two completely different measures.

The ABR is calculated solely based on brokerage recommendations and is typically displayed with decimals (example: 1.28). In contrast, the Zacks Rank is a quantitative model allowing investors to harness the power of earnings estimate revisions. It is displayed in whole numbers -- 1 to 5.

Analysts employed by brokerage firms have been and continue to be overly optimistic with their recommendations. Since the ratings issued by these analysts are more favorable than their research would support because of the vested interest of their employers, they mislead investors far more often than they guide.

In contrast, the Zacks Rank is driven by earnings estimate revisions. And near-term stock price movements are strongly correlated with trends in earnings estimate revisions, according to empirical research.

In addition, the different Zacks Rank grades are applied proportionately to all stocks for which brokerage analysts provide current-year earnings estimates. In other words, this tool always maintains a balance among its five ranks.

Another key difference between the ABR and Zacks Rank is freshness. The ABR is not necessarily up-to-date when you look at it. But, since brokerage analysts keep revising their earnings estimates to account for a company's changing business trends, and their actions get reflected in the Zacks Rank quickly enough, it is always timely in indicating future price movements.

Is RUN a Good Investment? In terms of earnings estimate revisions for Sunrun, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has remained unchanged over the past month at $1.09.

Analysts' steady views regarding the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by an unchanged consensus estimate, could be a legitimate reason for the stock to perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for Sunrun. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>>

It may therefore be prudent to be a little cautious with the Buy-equivalent ABR for Sunrun.

Tower Semiconductor and Marvell Ship Over Five Million Coherent Photonic ICs
COHR Coherent

Tower’s advanced silicon photonics platform enables high-bandwidth,
energy-efficient data center connectivity

MIGDAL HAEMEK, Israel, June 18, 2026 - Tower Semiconductor (NASDAQ/TASE: TSEM), the leading foundry for high-value analog semiconductor solutions, today announced a significant milestone. The company, in partnership with Marvell Technology, has shipped over five million coherent photonic integrated circuits (PICs) to Marvell global customers, delivering advanced, high-performance photonics solutions to address the growing bandwidth and efficiency demands of AI-driven data center interconnect (DCI) networks.

Coherent PICs are complex because they must control the phase and polarization of light, not just the amplitude. The design and process requirements for these PICs are far more stringent compared to simpler direct-detect chips.

“As optical transceiver applications and requirements continue to evolve, photonics platforms must evolve to meet these requirements. This is especially true in the area of coherent optical transceivers,” said Dr. Ed Preisler, Vice President and General Manager of the RF Business Unit at Tower Semiconductor. “We are proud to collaborate with Marvell to stay at the forefront in this field.”

Tower has collaborated with Marvell to advance next-generation coherent technologies, including process capabilities, such as the integration of non-silicon materials, the 3D integration of electronics and the enablement of advanced optical packaging such as V-Grooves, which serve to extend the performance and functionality of silicon photonics platforms.

“This milestone demonstrates the strength of our collaboration,” said Dr. Radha Nagarajan, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Optical Engineering, at Marvell. “As one of our key ecosystem partners, we look forward to continue working with the Tower team to advance next-generation coherent technologies for scale-across data center architectures, providing customers with the latest efficient, high-performance photonics technologies to power their advanced AI workloads.”

Optical Networking Is AI's Most Overlooked Bottleneck. Here's Why This Nvidia-Backed Company Is the Stock to Own.
COHR Coherent
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Many discussions about the artificial intelligence (AI) market revolve around Nvidia (NVDA +3.08%), the world's leading producer of data center GPUs. Those chips, which most of the world's top AI companies use, are still the best picks and shovels for the AI gold rush.

However, the AI market's growth is also generating strong tailwinds for optical networking companies, which manufacture optical transceivers and components that convert electronic data into light signals and transmit them through fiber-optic cables. Many data centers are now upgrading their older copper wires, which are too slow and generate too much heat to handle the latest cloud and AI applications, to faster fiber-optic components.

That's why it wasn't surprising when Nvidia invested $2 billion in Coherent (COHR +2.90%), one of the world's largest photonics companies, in early March. Coherent's stock has rallied about 30% since that announcement, but it could still be worth buying as a long-term AI play.

How fast is Coherent growing? Coherent, which was known as II-VI until it acquired the original Coherent and inherited its brand and ticker in 2022, generates most of its revenue from its optical business. That segment -- which was once a cyclical, slower-growth business -- became its core growth engine as the cloud and AI markets expanded. It also sells industrial lasers and specialty chips, but those smaller businesses don't generate nearly as much growth as its optical networking division.

In fiscal 2025 (which ended last June), Coherent's revenue rose 23%. From fiscal 2025 to fiscal 2028, analysts expect its revenue to grow at a 31% CAGR. They also expect its EPS to turn positive in fiscal 2026 and grow at a 52% CAGR over the following two years. Its rising sales of ultra-fast 800G, 1.6T, and next-generation 3.2T optical products to data centers should drive most of that growth. It's also firmly backed by Nvidia, which works with the company to connect millions of its GPUs across "AI factories", and it was recently granted $50 million in funding under the CHIPS and Science Act to expand its manufacturing plant in Sherman, Texas.

But does Coherent deserve its premium valuation? Coherent's stock isn't cheap at 65 times next year's earnings. However, it's transforming from a cyclical networking play to a high-growth AI play -- and it could continue to command a premium valuation for the foreseeable future. So if you expect the AI market to keep expanding over the next decade, it might be smart to invest in Coherent before it attracts even more attention.

Leo Sun has no position in any of the stocks mentioned. The Motley Fool has positions in and recommends Coherent and Nvidia. The Motley Fool has a disclosure policy.

MILL POND CAPITAL URGES SALE OF RAYONIER ADVANCED MATERIALS
RYN Rayonier
FMP Stock News

Demand Follows Rejection by Board of 100% Premium Acquisition Offer

Company is Plagued by its Capital Structure, Overhead Burden, Rotating Management, and Misaligned Board

Sale of the Company is Best Path Forward to Unlock Significant Asset Value

, /PRNewswire/ -- Mill Pond Capital, LLC, which owns approximately 3% of the outstanding common shares of Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc. (NYSE: RYAM) ("RYAM" or the "Company"), today sent a letter to the Company's Board of Directors (the "Board") urging the Board to conduct a full sale of RYAM.

The full text of the letter follows:

June 17, 2026

Ms. Julie Dill, Non-Executive Chair
and Fellow Members of the Board of Directors
Rayonier Advanced Materials
1301 Riverplace Blvd., Suite 2300
Jacksonville, Florida 32207

Dear Ms. Dill and Fellow Board Members:

I first became a shareholder of Rayonier Advanced Materials ("RYAM" or the "Company") in 2019 and currently own approximately 3% of the Company's outstanding common shares, making me one of the Company's larger shareholders. I have a successful history of investing in commodity-related businesses and, like each of you on RYAM's Board of Directors (the "Board"), have served on public company boards in the commodity space.

I am writing today following a private letter I sent on May 8, 2026, and a subsequent call with Chair Dill, in which I stated my belief that a full sale of RYAM is the best path forward for the Company. This limited engagement from Chair Dill produced only the assurance that the Board is "working to do what is best for shareholders." After seven years of receiving that assurance — and being unable to present my views to the broader Board — I am no longer content to wait for a different result.

The Scorecard Is Simple

I invested in RYAM believing the Company possessed genuinely excellent assets that were poorly managed – a fixable problem. What I underestimated was how durable RYAM's financial underperformance would prove to be inside a subscale public company with structural disadvantages no management team can fully overcome.

RYAM has reported a loss from continuing operations every year since 2019. Guidance has rarely been met. The Company has cycled through three CEOs – and currently does not have a CEO in the seat – all while paying out tens of millions of dollars in compensation and director fees. One dollar invested in RYAM at its launch as a public company in June 2014 is today worth less than $0.25. The same dollar invested in the S&P 500, with dividends reinvested, would have grown to nearly $5.00. That is not a rough patch. It is a verdict.

A Structural Problem That Management Alone Cannot Solve

Part of this is not a management problem — it is an arithmetic problem. RYAM carries approximately $55 to $60 million in annual corporate overhead, an enormous, fixed cost for a small-cap company. A strategic acquirer with an existing platform could eliminate a meaningful portion of that overhead on day one. That single fact goes a long way toward explaining why a sale creates value that no standalone operating plan can replicate. The assets are not the problem. The structure is.

The Board's Own Recent Record

In November 2025, a credible buyer offered to acquire RYAM at $11 to $12 per share, representing a premium of approximately 100% to the prevailing stock price. The Board rejected the proposal. The receipt of the 100% premium offer and the Board's response were not made public by the Company but rather by the buyer in a securities filing earlier this year.

In January 2026, RYAM named a new CEO who lasted just over 100 days before resigning in April 2026. Boards make difficult calls, and reasonable people can disagree about any single decision. But seven-plus years of losses, three CEOs, a rejected 100% premium offer not disclosed to shareholders, and a company now without permanent leadership is not a streak of bad luck. It is a pattern, and patterns tell you something.

Skin in the Game

In 2025, RYAM paid its Board members over $1.3 million in total compensation, per the Company's March 2026 Proxy Statement. A review of SEC Form 4 filings shows that over their collective tenures – the average tenure of the current directors is approximately six years – those same Board members purchased fewer than 80,000 shares in the open market, representing roughly $500,000 at cost. I am not suggesting bad faith. But there is a meaningful difference between being paid to oversee a company and choosing to invest your own money in it. The people who are deciding whether to sell this business have not, while serving on this Board, put their own money behind the belief that they should keep running it. That is worth sitting with.

What I Am Asking For

RYAM's assets are irreplaceable – specialty cellulose operations serving growing global markets in pharmaceuticals, food, filtration, and performance materials – rendering them exceptionally attractive to the right partner. The problem has never been the assets. Seven-plus years of evidence has made clear that the combination of capital structure, overhead burden, rotating management, and a misaligned Board cannot unlock the significant asset value embedded within RYAM.

At least one credible acquirer has, on an unsolicited basis, expressed serious interest in these assets and has articulated a clear strategic rationale for combining them with a complementary platform. Given the quality, scarcity, and multi-billion-dollar replacement cost of RYAM's assets – the Company trades for a fraction of its replacement cost – I imagine there are likely additional interested parties. The math is not complicated: combine the business with a strategic acquirer, eliminate the duplicative overhead, and you have a company that not only works, but thrives.

The strategic review was the right call. Now finish it. Sell the Company.

Shareholders have been patient for more than seven years. These assets deserve an owner who can do right by them.

Respectfully,
Daniel Farb

Comcast Speeds Up the WiFi Setup Race
CCZ Comcast
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Comcast CMCSA is trying to make home internet feel more like instant delivery, with Xfinity rolling out same-day WiFi equipment delivery in nearly 20 markets.

The service lets new Xfinity Internet customers get a Gateway delivered the same day they sign up, often within hours. Comcast said the option will expand across the full Xfinity footprint by early 2027. For the first time, all customers can also choose same-day in-store pickup for WiFi equipment.

Eric Jagher, SVP and GM of connectivity at Xfinity, said the goal is to give customers access to fast, reliable connectivity “the moment they need it.” The pitch is especially aimed at people moving homes, starting fresh or trying to avoid the usual delay between ordering internet and actually getting online.

this is not a huge financial event on its own, but it shows Comcast trying to defend broadband share with better service and faster activation. That matters as cable companies face tougher competition from fiber and fixed wireless rivals.

Comcast (CMCSA 1.15%), a broadband, cable, streaming, studios, and theme parks provider, closed at $22.43, down 1.15%. Investors are weighing an energy-efficiency win and stake trim, while watching July 23 results for broadband trends and Peacock.

The company’s trading volume reached roughly 63.5M shares, which is about 86% above its three-month average of 34.1M shares.

How the markets moved todayThe S&P 500 (^GSPC +1.08%) rose 1.08% to 7,500.58, and the Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC +1.91%) gained 1.91% to 26,517.93. Among telecommunications services and media entertainment conglomerate peers, Charter Communications (CHTR 4.39%) closed at $126.23, down 4.37%, while AT&T (T 1.87%) ended at $22.01, off 1.92%, as cable stocks lagged the broader markets.

What this means for investorsComcast shares declined despite gains in the broader market, highlighting ongoing pressure on cable stocks ahead of the company’s July 23 earnings report. While improvements in network energy efficiency and debt management demonstrate cost discipline, the key question is whether Comcast can narrow broadband losses and leverage wireless growth to offset challenges in its core connectivity business.

The July report should also give more details about Peacock and how Comcast is returning cash to shareholders. Just adding subscribers is not enough if streaming losses keep hurting profit margins. Free cash flow is still important for paying dividends, buying back shares, and managing the balance sheet. To boost investor confidence, Comcast needs to show stable broadband numbers, progress at Peacock, and stronger cash flow, especially amid ongoing concerns about the cable sector.

ADI vs. ALAB: Which AI Semiconductor Stock is a Better Buy?
ADI Analog Devices
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Analog Devices is benefiting from AI data center demand and record bookings across key markets.ADI's communications business grew strongly as data center revenues topped 75% of segment sales.Astera Labs is expanding AI connectivity offerings, but premium valuation and competition remain challenges. Analog Devices (ADI - Free Report) and Astera Labs (ALAB - Free Report) are two prominent players in the AI semiconductor space, offering solutions that are crucial for AI data centers and high performance computing (HPC). Both companies have been key beneficiaries of the artificial intelligence (AI) boom, which has driven strong demand for its analog and embedded chips used across data centers, industrial customers and automotive markets.

As the demand for analog and embedded chips supporting AI and HPC is likely to remain strong, ADI and ALAB are well-positioned to capitalize on this opportunity. However, from an investment point of view, one stock offers a more favorable outlook than the other right now. Let’s break down their fundamentals, growth prospects, market challenges and valuation to determine which stock offers a more compelling investment case.

The Case for ADI StockAnalog Devices’ data center and Automated Test Equipment are on steep growth trajectories. Adoption of higher-voltage architectures, mainly 48V and 54V, and vertical power is expanding its serviceable market, while DC power control and multiphase controllers enable efficient GPU and CPU power regulation.

Optical connectivity is another tailwind as AI networking shifts toward optical circuit switching. ADI’s precision control and monitoring solutions help improve bandwidth density and reduce cost per bit. Analog Devices’ industrial sectors have grown more than 40% in the first half of fiscal 2026 while still running below prior cycle highs, with lean channel inventories.

In fact, ADI’s communications accounted for 15% of second-quarter fiscal 2026 revenues and rose 79% year over year and 22% sequentially to $554.7 million, driven by AI infrastructure buildouts. Analog Devices’ data center now accounted for more than 75% of Communications revenues and was up more than 90% year over year, with similar growth across both the optical and power portfolios.

To address the growing data center requirements, ADI offers a portfolio that includes power management technologies, optical and high-speed connectivity solutions, and energy optimization products designed to improve the performance and efficiency of next-generation data centers. ADI experienced record bookings across its B2B markets.

Management reported that the demand signals remain constructive, supporting expectations for continued strong growth in the third quarter and beyond. Communications, including data center, is an above-corporate-average-margin business, which can lift profitability as it scales. The Zacks Consensus Estimates for ADI’s earnings growth show an increase of 59% in fiscal 2026. Estimates have been revised upward in the past 30 days.

The Case for ALAB StockAstera Labs is benefiting from the accelerating demand for AI infrastructure, which is driving robust growth across its product portfolio and positioning the company for further upside. In the first quarter of fiscal 2026, ALAB reported revenues of $308 million, up 14% sequentially and 93% year over year.

The company benefits from strong growth in UALink, an open-standard scale-up connectivity protocol designed to address the increasing demands of AI infrastructure. In the first quarter of 2026, ALAB collaborated with UALink Consortium to publish the new UALink 2.0 specification, introducing advanced capabilities such as In-Network Compute, confidential computing and multi-path routing while preserving its foundational memory-semantic model.

The company’s leadership in high-speed connectivity, expanding product portfolio and deep customer partnerships position it to capture a growing share of the AI infrastructure market. ALAB recently announced a major expansion of its operations in Taiwan and its Cloud-Scale Interop Lab. This expansion will speed up the deployment of rack-scale AI infrastructure.

The move improves the company’s engineering, operations, quality and technical support. It also boosts collaboration with key partners, including Advanced Micro Devices, Arm, Intel, NVIDIA, and leading Taiwan ODMs such as GIGABYTE, Ingrasys, Inventec, Quanta Cloud Technology, and Wiwynn. Given these tailwinds, ALAB is experiencing tremendous growth in both top and bottom lines. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for ALAB’s 2026 revenue and earnings growth suggests an increase of 80% and 59%, respectively. Earnings estimates have remained unchanged for the past 30 days.

Despite its growing portfolio and partnerships, ALAB faces intense competition from Marvell Technology, Cisco and Credo in AI infrastructure. Marvell Technology’s new AI switch silicon, Cisco’s surging AI infrastructure business and raised outlook, and Credo’s DustPhotonics acquisition, strengthening its optical interconnect portfolio, could challenge ALAB’s growth prospects in the expanding AI connectivity market.

Stock Price Performance and Valuation of ADI & ALABYear to date, ALAB shares have rallied 117.5% compared with the appreciation of 54% in ADI shares.

YTD Performance Chart

ADI is trading at a forward sales multiple of 12.88X, above its median of 10.61X over the past year. ALAB’s forward sales multiple sits at 34.18X, significantly above its median of 24.13X over the past year.

Forward 12-Month (P/S) Valuation Chart

Conclusion: ADI vs. ALABWhile Astera Labs offers exceptional growth potential driven by AI infrastructure spending, its premium valuation and intensifying competition from larger networking and connectivity players make the stock relatively riskier at current levels. In contrast, Analog Devices combines strong AI-driven momentum with a diversified business model spanning industrial, automotive and communications markets, providing greater earnings stability and resilience across cycles. ADI carries a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy), while ALAB has a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) at present. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

Here is What to Know Beyond Why Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (CDNS) is a Trending Stock
CDNS Cadence Design Systems
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Cadence Design Systems (CDNS - Free Report) is one of the stocks most watched by Zacks.com visitors lately. So, it might be a good idea to review some of the factors that might affect the near-term performance of the stock.

Over the past month, shares of this maker of hardware and software products for validating chip designs have returned +14.7%, compared to the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +1.6% change. During this period, the Zacks Computer - Software industry, which Cadence falls in, has lost 6.3%. The key question now is: What could be the stock's future direction?

Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.

For the current quarter, Cadence is expected to post earnings of $2.05 per share, indicating a change of +24.2% from the year-ago quarter. The Zacks Consensus Estimate remained unchanged over the last 30 days.

The consensus earnings estimate of $7.94 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +11.2%. This estimate has remained unchanged over the last 30 days.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $9.3 indicates a change of +17.2% from what Cadence is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has remained unchanged.

Having a strong externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, offers a more conclusive picture of a stock's price direction in the near term, since it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. Due to the size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, Cadence is rated Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).

The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:

12 Month EPS

Projected Revenue GrowthEven though a company's earnings growth is arguably the best indicator of its financial health, nothing much happens if it cannot raise its revenues. It's almost impossible for a company to grow its earnings without growing its revenue for long periods. Therefore, knowing a company's potential revenue growth is crucial.

In the case of Cadence, the consensus sales estimate of $1.58 billion for the current quarter points to a year-over-year change of +23.6%. The $6.2 billion and $6.97 billion estimates for the current and next fiscal years indicate changes of +17.1% and +12.4%, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryCadence reported revenues of $1.47 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +18.7%. EPS of $1.96 for the same period compares with $1.57 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.45 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +1.69%. The EPS surprise was +4.26%.

The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters. The company topped consensus revenue estimates each time over this period.

ValuationNo investment decision can be efficient without considering a stock's valuation. Whether a stock's current price rightly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects is an essential determinant of its future price performance.

The Zacks Value Style Score (part of the Zacks Style Scores system), which pays close attention to both traditional and unconventional valuation metrics to grade stocks from A to F (an A is better than a B; a B is better than a C; and so on), is pretty helpful in identifying whether a stock is overvalued, rightly valued, or temporarily undervalued.

Cadence is graded F on this front, indicating that it is trading at a premium to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

Bottom LineThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Cadence. However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

Goldman Says Marvell and Micron Are Positioned for AI's Next Wave: 5 Stocks to Consider Now
MRVL Marvell Technology Group
FMP Stock News
Original source text
BlackRock’s Jay Jacobs told Earn Your Leisure that the hyperscalers are set to spend "close to a trillion dollars this year on CapEx", and that math problem is the entire trade. Goldman just flagged Marvell and Micron as the next-wave winners. The tape already agrees: MRVL is up 230% year to date and MU is up 244%. If you’re still treating this as a chip story, you’re already a step behind. Here are five names sitting directly in the blast radius.

1. Vertiv Holdings (VRT): The Picks-and-Shovels Surprise Start here, because most readers won’t. Vertiv builds the power and cooling racks that every Blackwell, every XPU, every HBM stack physically lives inside, without making a single chip itself. When Jensen Huang talks about AI factories, Vertiv is the steel, the busways, and the liquid loops. Vertiv Holdings (NYSE:VRT | VRT Price Prediction) was added to the S&P 500 in March 2026, and the order book tells you why.

Q1 2026 revenue came in at $2.65 billion, up 30% year over year, with Americas organic sales growing 44% and adjusted operating margin expanding 430 basis points to 20.8%. The backlog ended Q4 2025 at $15.0 billion, up 109% year over year on organic orders that grew 252%. Management raised full-year guidance to $13.5B to $14.0B in net sales and adjusted EPS of $6.30 to $6.40.

CEO Giordano Albertazzi described "data center infrastructure requirements evolve significantly, with customers prioritizing optimized design, deployment speed, and operational efficiency". Translation: the racks have to ship faster than the chips, or the chips don’t earn anything. That dynamic flows directly into the most obvious name on this list.

2. NVIDIA (NVDA): The Platform Nobody Replaces The heavyweight. NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) is the platform Jacobs was describing when he said mega-caps win on proprietary data, elite talent, and low cost of capital. I’ve owned NVIDIA for over 15 years, and the Q1 FY2027 earnings report is still the most violent data point I’ve seen come out of this company.

Revenue hit $81.6 billion, up 85% year over year, with Data Center alone at $75.25 billion, up 92%. Inside that, Data Center Networking grew 199% to $14.8 billion. Q2 FY2027 guidance: $91.0 billion plus or minus 2%, excluding any China Data Center compute. The board layered on an additional $80.0 billion share repurchase authorization, and total supply commitments now sit at $119.0 billion.

Jensen Huang said "The buildout of AI factories, the largest infrastructure expansion in human history, is accelerating at extraordinary speed." Polymarket traders agree: there’s a 96% probability NVDA closes above $180 by end of June. The real question now is who else gets paid alongside NVIDIA.

3. Broadcom (AVGO): The Custom-Silicon Counterweight This is where the trillion-dollar capex pie gets sliced. Hyperscalers don’t want a single-vendor dependency, and Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO) is the company they call for custom XPUs and AI networking silicon. Hock Tan has now strung together eight consecutive EPS beats, and the AI line item is the entire thesis.

Q2 FY2026 AI semiconductor revenue hit $10.8 billion, up 143% year over year, on total revenue of $22.19 billion, up 48%. Free cash flow was $10.26 billion, or 46% of revenue. The forward number is the headline: Tan guided "in Q3 we expect semiconductor revenue from AI to grow over 200 percent year-over-year to $16.0 billion."

Reddit’s options crowd got burned chasing the earnings report, and sentiment on r/wallstreetbets collapsed into the 10-22 very-bearish range during the June 4-5 earnings window. That’s the setup retail keeps missing: the dip in the stock and the dip in the business are different things. The business is accelerating. Which brings us to Goldman’s first named call.

4. Marvell Technology (MRVL): Goldman’s First Named Call Goldman put Marvell at the front of its next-wave list, and the connection to NVIDIA is literal: Marvell Technology (NASDAQ:MRVL) is an NVLink Fusion partner for silicon photonics, and it sells the 800G/1.6T optical interconnects that move data between the racks Vertiv is cooling. If NVIDIA is the brain and Broadcom is the second brain, Marvell is the nervous system.

Q1 FY2027 revenue was a record $2.418 billion, up 28% year over year, with Data Center at $1.83 billion, or 76% of total revenue. Free cash flow hit $483.1 million, up 127%. CEO Matt Murphy said "We are seeing exceptional AI-related bookings, and as a result, we are significantly raising Marvell’s revenue outlook for both fiscal 2027 and fiscal 2028", with Q2 guided to $2.7 billion at the midpoint, roughly 35% year-over-year growth.

The catalyst stack isn’t done. Reddit is fixated on "What will be the impact on MRVL from inclusion in SP500 on 22 June?", the dominant wallstreetbets thread heading into the rebalance. Passive flows on top of accelerating bookings on top of a Goldman call. And it still isn’t the payoff name.

5. Micron Technology (MU): The Memory Repricing Payoff Here’s the punchline. Goldman’s other call. Micron Technology (NASDAQ:MU) is the cleanest expression of a thesis the market refused to believe for two years: AI needs vastly more memory than current supply can provide, and the supply curve can’t catch the demand curve until 2027 at the earliest. HBM and DDR5 are getting repriced in real time.

Look at the Q2 FY2026 numbers and try not to flinch. Revenue: $23.86 billion, up 196% year over year. Non-GAAP EPS: $12.20 versus the $8.73 consensus, a 40% beat. GAAP gross margin: 74.4%, expanded from 36.8% a year earlier. Q3 guidance: $33.5 billion in revenue, $19.15 in EPS, with gross margin around 81%. CEO Sanjay Mehrotra said "In the AI era, memory has become a strategic asset for our customers" and the board signaled it by approving a 30% dividend increase to $0.15 per quarter.

Retail caught on. The viral wallstreetbets post "Looks like memory’s back on the menu, boys!" pulled 113 upvotes, and a separate thread documenting a +6,477% gain on MU LEAPS hit 1,123 upvotes. Polymarket pegs the probability of Micron beating next quarter’s earnings at 98%. The crowd, the chart, and Goldman are all pointing at the same door.

The Trade Setup Every one of these names raised guidance. Every one shows triple-digit growth somewhere in the stack. Jacobs framed AI as a math problem the mega-caps solve with proprietary data, talent, and cheap capital, but the dollars flow downstream through NVIDIA’s compute, Broadcom’s custom silicon, Marvell’s interconnects, Micron’s memory, and Vertiv’s racks. Goldman put a flag on MRVL and MU. The other three are already confirming the trade is in motion, and the next earnings cycle is the one that prices it in.

Prediction: Marvell Stock Will Hit $300 On This Date
MRVL Marvell Technology Group
FMP Stock News

Marvell Technology (NASDAQ:MRVL | MRVL Price Prediction) has gone vertical. Shares have tripled in a year on the back of accelerating AI bookings, and the question now is whether the rally has more room to run or whether expectations have lapped fundamentals.

Our 24/7 Wall St. price target for Marvell is $323.10, pointing to roughly 15.95% upside from the current $278.67 level. Based on our proprietary model, the recommendation is buy with high confidence.

24/7 Wall St. Price Target Summary Metric Value Current Price $278.67 24/7 Wall St. Price Target $323.10 Upside 15.95% Recommendation BUY Confidence Level 90% From $70 to Nearly $300 in a Year Marvell is up 296.8% over the past year and 57.54% in the past month alone, trading just 27% below its 52-week high of $324.20. The catalyst has been the AI build-out. In Q1 FY27, revenue hit $2.418 billion, up 27.6% year over year, with data center revenue of $1.83 billion now 76% of the mix. Non-GAAP EPS came in at $0.80, beating consensus.

CEO Matt Murphy described “exceptional AI-related bookings” and is guiding Q2 to $2.7 billion in revenue at the midpoint, implying 35% year-over-year growth. Reddit chatter is also pivoting to the S&P 500 inclusion on June 22, 2026, a near-term technical tailwind from index buying.

With a 300% surge in the rearview mirror, Marvell is just hitting its stride in the custom AI silicon race. © 24/7 Wall St. The Case for $350+ Bulls argue Marvell is still early in the custom XPU cycle. Murphy is “significantly raising Marvell’s revenue outlook for both fiscal 2027 and fiscal 2028″, with demand spanning 800G and 1.6T optics, 51.2T Ethernet switches, and co-packaged optics.

The Celestial AI and XConn acquisitions, closed in February 2026, position Marvell at the center of photonic interconnect, arguably the next bottleneck in AI scale-up.

Of the 44 analysts covering MRVL, 39 rate it Buy or Strong Buy. Our internal bull-case scenario points to $352.81 by June 2027, a 26.61% total return. Free cash flow grew 126.8% YoY to $483.1 million, giving management firepower for further buybacks beyond the $2.04 billion repurchased in FY26.

What Could Go Wrong The bear case starts with valuation. MRVL trades at a trailing P/E of 107 and a forward P/E of 76, leaving no room for execution missteps. Reported net income fell 80.6% in Q1 FY27, though bulls would note this reflects a $331.8 million contingent consideration charge tied to acquisitions rather than core operating weakness. Non-GAAP operating margin actually expanded to 35%.

Customer concentration is the other risk. Hyperscaler vertical integration could erode Marvell’s custom silicon position, and China trade restrictions remain a wildcard.

Insider activity has skewed toward net selling, including COO Chris Koopmans disposing of 10,000 shares at $205.87 on June 1, though much of the broader selling reflects scheduled PSU vesting. Our bear-case scenario lands at $242.73 by June 2027.

Marvell Price Prediction 2026-2030 The 24/7 Wall St. price target stands at $323.10 with a buy rating and 90% confidence. The factor that tips the scale is accelerating revenue growth into FY28 against a forward multiple that, while rich, is supported by 35% projected growth and expanding free cash flow.

The setup favors investors who can stomach the beta of 2.28 and view this as a multi-year custom silicon story. The thesis weakens if hyperscaler capex shows signs of plateauing or if China restrictions tighten meaningfully.

Year 24/7 Wall St. Price Target 2026 $323.10 2027 $365.00 2028 $405.00 2029 $418.11 2030 $448.67 These projections assume Marvell continues executing on its AI custom silicon and optical interconnect roadmap. Significant upside could come from new hyperscaler XPU design wins, while downside risk centers on competitive losses or a broader AI capex digestion phase.

Marvell Gains Attention After Nvidia Backing
MRVL Marvell Technology Group
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Marvell Technology (MRVL, Financials) is getting a fresh look from investors after reports that Nvidia has expanded its relationship with the company and made a sizable investment in the AI infrastructure provider.

The attention comes at a time when the market is searching for companies that stand to benefit from the rapid buildout of AI data centers. While Nvidia remains the dominant name in the space, many of the systems powering those data centers rely on technology from suppliers such as Marvell.

The company specializes in networking and custom silicon used to move data between thousands of chips inside large computing clusters. As AI models become larger and more complex, that behind-the-scenes infrastructure has become increasingly important.

Reports that Nvidia has invested roughly $2 billion in Marvell and expanded collaboration around optical interconnects have reinforced the view that Marvell could play a larger role in future AI deployments.

Investors have responded enthusiastically, but expectations are also rising. Marvell has already become closely tied to the AI spending cycle, meaning future growth will depend on whether cloud providers and enterprise customers continue investing heavily in new infrastructure.

For now, Nvidia's support gives Marvell another boost in credibility. The next test will be whether that momentum translates into new business wins and sustained revenue growth.

Marvell, Flex Could Be Days Away From Massive Passive-Fund Tailwind
MRVL Marvell Technology Group
FMP Stock News
Original source text
• Marvell Technology stock is surging to new heights today. What’s fueling MRVL momentum?

While the announcement on June 5 initially sparked interest in both stocks, the bigger event may still lie ahead.

That’s because S&P 500 inclusion triggers a wave of mechanical buying from index funds and exchange-traded funds which track the benchmark. Those funds are required to own newly added constituents, creating demand that is largely unrelated to a company’s fundamentals.

For investors, that raises an interesting question: could Marvell and Flex receive another boost as passive managers complete their purchases ahead of the rebalance?

The AI Stock Passive Funds Are About To BuyMarvell enters the index as one of the market’s biggest artificial intelligence winners.

The company recently projected its custom AI chip business could exceed $10 billion in annual revenue by fiscal 2029, helping fuel investor enthusiasm around the stock.

The S&P 500 addition arrives as Marvell’s AI narrative continues to gain traction on Wall Street, potentially creating a rare combination of fundamental and mechanical demand.

The Quiet AI Infrastructure PlayFlex may be less familiar to investors, but the company has quietly become another beneficiary of the AI infrastructure boom.

The manufacturing and supply-chain specialist plays a key role in data center, networking and server hardware production, giving it exposure to the same wave of spending that has lifted many AI-related stocks.

Its market value has climbed sharply in recent years as demand for AI infrastructure expanded, eventually growing large enough to earn promotion into the benchmark index.

Unlike many of the market’s high-profile AI names, however, Flex has largely flown under the radar.

Why Investors Are Watching June 22S&P 500 additions often generate heightened trading activity as passive funds, benchmarked portfolios and index-tracking ETFs adjust their holdings.

The exact impact varies from stock to stock, but inclusion typically expands a company’s investor base and increases visibility among institutional investors.

For Marvell and Flex, the timing is particularly notable.

One is emerging as a major player in custom AI silicon. The other is benefiting from the buildout of AI infrastructure. Soon, both will gain access to one of Wall Street’s largest sources of automatic demand.

That combination could make Marvell and Flex two of this week’s quiet winners.

Marvell Technology (MRVL +7.30%), a data infrastructure semiconductor provider, closed at $289.54, up 3.90%. Premarket comments from Nvidia's CEO and a new $2 billion AI chip alliance lifted the stock, while investors are watching AI bookings and data-center demand next.

The company’s trading volume reached 48.6M shares, which is about 38% above its three-month average of 36.1M shares. Marvell Technology IPO'd in 2000 and has grown 1,932% since going public.

How the markets moved todayS&P 500 (^GSPC +1.08%) closed at 7,420.10, down 1.19%, while the Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC +1.91%) finished at 26,021.66, down 1.34%. Among semiconductor and data infrastructure peers, Broadcom (AVGO +4.87%) closed at $392.90, up 4.30%, while Nvidia (NVDA +3.08%) closed at $204.65, down 1.33%, highlighting a mixed session across the sector.

What this means for investorsMarvell Technology shares rose despite broader market weakness, driven by momentum from the March NVLink Fusion partnership with Nvidia and Nvidia’s $2 billion investment. The upcoming addition to the S&P 500 is also expected to boost index-related demand and increase visibility among large-cap investors.

The key question now is whether Marvell’s AI demand is durable enough to support its higher outlook. Recent Q1 results showed record revenue, an improved Q2 outlook, and strong AI-related bookings in data-center infrastructure. The next test will be whether demand for custom XPUs, optical interconnects, and scale-up networking can turn Marvell’s AI bookings into sustained revenue and margin growth.

Jim Cramer Is Watching Marvell After Jensen Huang Called It the Next Trillion-Dollar Stock
MRVL Marvell Technology Group
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Jim Cramer told Mad Money viewers on June 16 that Marvell Technology (NASDAQ:MRVL | MRVL Price Prediction) is the AI hardware name he is tracking most closely, after NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang publicly tagged the chip designer as a candidate to join the trillion-dollar club. Cramer’s enthusiasm for the story has a limit: He questions whether the earnings power is there to justify that kind of ceiling.

His framing on the show was direct: “The one to watch is Marvell. This is the one that was anointed by Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA’s, as the next trillion dollar stock.” He immediately tempered the call, adding, “I think that’s a little fanciful because it just doesn’t really have that kind of earnings power yet. Yet it might.”

Why Cramer Is Watching Marvell Right Now The stock has been one of the most dramatic AI hardware reversals on the board. Marvell shares closed at $308.88 on June 15, 2026, after starting the year at $84.88. Over the past month alone the stock has climbed 75%, and the one-year return stands at 361%. Cramer noted the whiplash: “The stock was down very badly and it’s reversed. And I think that what you’re seeing is the desire to buy all sorts of hardware… as space closes in.”

Market cap has followed the run. Marvell now carries a valuation of roughly $272.83 billion, with a trailing P/E of 96 and a forward P/E of 69. The Wall Street consensus target sits at $235.70, well below current trading levels, even with eight Strong Buy ratings and 31 Buy ratings already in place.

The Data Center Engine Behind the Story Cramer’s bull case rests on the same lever management keeps pulling: “The data center is key because that’s a data center stock… they need a lot of GPUs.” Marvell’s most recent quarter backs up that framing. In Q1 FY2027 results filed May 27, the company posted revenue of $2.418 billion, up 28% year over year, with the data center segment contributing $1.83 billion, or 76% of total revenue. Non-GAAP EPS came in at $0.80.

Guidance was the louder signal. CEO Matt Murphy guided Q2 to $2.7 billion at the midpoint, or roughly 35% year-over-year growth, and said, “We are seeing exceptional AI-related bookings, and as a result, we are significantly raising Marvell’s revenue outlook for both fiscal 2027 and fiscal 2028.” Product strength is concentrated in 800G and 1.6T scale-out optics, 51.2T Ethernet scale-out switches, and custom XPU solutions. The recent Celestial AI acquisition (closed Feb. 2) deepened the photonic interconnect roadmap.

The Jensen Huang Connection Huang’s endorsement carries real substance. NVIDIA’s own Q1 FY2027 disclosures cite a strategic partnership with Marvell via NVLink Fusion and collaboration on silicon photonics technology. NVIDIA itself posted Q1 FY2027 revenue of $81.61 billion, up 85% year over year, with data center networking alone growing 199% to $14.8 billion. NVIDIA’s market cap sits near $5.06 trillion, the bar Huang is implicitly suggesting Marvell could one day approach.

The scale gap is enormous. NVIDIA shares are up 50% over the past year, a far tamer move than Marvell’s run, reflecting that NVIDIA has already earned its trillions. Marvell would need to deliver many multiples of its current $8.72 billion TTM revenue base to validate the comparison.

What Investors Should Watch Next Cramer’s stance reduces to two questions investors will resolve over the next several quarters. First, can Marvell convert accelerating bookings into the kind of earnings power that supports a forward multiple in the high 60s? Second, does the customer base diversify away from the 73% to 76% data center concentration that magnifies both the upside and the cyclical risk? Huang’s call sets the ceiling for ambition. The next two earnings reports will determine how seriously the market keeps pricing it in.

Marvell Technology (MRVL - Free Report) has been one of the most searched-for stocks on Zacks.com lately. So, you might want to look at some of the facts that could shape the stock's performance in the near term.

Shares of this chipmaker have returned +55% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +0.3% change. The Zacks Electronics - Semiconductors industry, to which Marvell belongs, has gained 12.4% over this period. Now the key question is: Where could the stock be headed in the near term?

Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.

Earnings Estimate RevisionsRather than focusing on anything else, we at Zacks prioritize evaluating the change in a company's earnings projection. This is because we believe the fair value for its stock is determined by the present value of its future stream of earnings.

We essentially look at how sell-side analysts covering the stock are revising their earnings estimates to reflect the impact of the latest business trends. And if earnings estimates go up for a company, the fair value for its stock goes up. A higher fair value than the current market price drives investors' interest in buying the stock, leading to its price moving higher. This is why empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.

Marvell is expected to post earnings of $0.93 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +38.8%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate has changed -8.3%.

The consensus earnings estimate of $4.04 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +42.3%. This estimate has changed +1% over the last 30 days.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $6.18 indicates a change of +52.9% from what Marvell is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed +14.8%.

With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool -- the Zacks Rank -- is a more conclusive indicator of a stock's near-term price performance, as it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for Marvell.

In the case of Marvell, the consensus sales estimate of $2.71 billion for the current quarter points to a year-over-year change of +35.1%. The $11.54 billion and $16.63 billion estimates for the current and next fiscal years indicate changes of +40.9% and +44.1%, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryMarvell reported revenues of $2.42 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +27.6%. EPS of $0.8 for the same period compares with $0.62 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2.4 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +0.59%. The EPS surprise was 0%.

Over the last four quarters, Marvell surpassed consensus EPS estimates two times. The company topped consensus revenue estimates three times over this period.

ValuationNo investment decision can be efficient without considering a stock's valuation. Whether a stock's current price rightly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects is an essential determinant of its future price performance.

Comparing the current value of a company's valuation multiples, such as its price-to-earnings (P/E), price-to-sales (P/S), and price-to-cash flow (P/CF), to its own historical values helps ascertain whether its stock is fairly valued, overvalued, or undervalued, whereas comparing the company relative to its peers on these parameters gives a good sense of how reasonable its stock price is.

Marvell is graded F on this front, indicating that it is trading at a premium to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

Bottom LineThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Marvell. However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

Marvell stock jumps as KeyBanc lifts target, chip shipments hit milestone
MRVL Marvell Technology Group
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Shares of Marvell Technology climbed on Thursday after the semiconductor company received a major price target increase from KeyBanc Capital Markets and announced a milestone shipment of photonic chips used in artificial intelligence data centers.

MRVL shares rose 8% in trading after KeyBanc raised its price target on the stock by 48% to $385 from $260 while maintaining an Overweight rating.

The new target represented roughly 33% upside from Wednesday's closing price of $289.54.

The stock also benefited from broader strength in semiconductor shares after President Donald Trump said Apple had agreed to work with Intel on designing and manufacturing chips in the United States.

Intel shares surged more than 7% following the announcement.

Marvell stock has gained 45% in June and is up 250% so far this year.

The company has also attracted growing investor attention after Nvidia Chief Executive Jensen Huang recently said he believes Marvell can become the "next trillion-dollar company."

The price target increase followed an investor meeting between KeyBanc analysts and Marvell management.

Analyst John Vinh said the firm's outlook on Marvell's optical-networking business has become increasingly optimistic and that the opportunity could prove more durable than the company's custom artificial intelligence chip business.

"Networking represents the most significant and durable growth opportunity," Vinh wrote Wednesday, adding that the total addressable market by 2030 could be around $30 billion.

Marvell manufactures digital signal processors used within optical transceivers that transfer data in AI data centers by converting electrical signals into light.

Demand for these technologies has accelerated as hyperscale companies continue building increasingly large AI infrastructure.

Vinh also maintained a positive outlook on Marvell's custom AI chip business.

He said the company has a "clear line of sight" to $10 billion in revenue by 2030 for its AI chips, with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft supporting demand.

Separately, Marvell announced that it has shipped more than 5 million coherent photonic integrated circuits worldwide in partnership with Tower Semiconductor.

Photonic integrated circuits transmit, process, and route information using light instead of electricity.

While the technology has long been used in telecommunications, it has become increasingly important for data centers because it supports faster networking and computing than traditional copper-based systems.

The milestone comes as hyperscale companies and technology firms rapidly expand AI infrastructure, placing significant strain on global supply chains for advanced components.

“This milestone demonstrates the strength of our collaboration,” said Dr. Radha Nagarajan, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Optical Engineering, at Marvell.

“As one of our key ecosystem partners, we look forward to continue working with the Tower team to advance next-generation coherent technologies for scale across data center architectures, providing customers with the latest efficient, high-performance photonics technologies to power their advanced AI workloads.”

Marvell has also expanded its capabilities through acquisitions, including the purchase of optical-networking company Celestial AI for $3.3 billion and interconnect technology company XConn for $540 million.

Nvidia has additionally invested $2 billion in Marvell as part of a collaboration allowing customers to combine components from both companies to build semi-custom AI infrastructure.

The latest developments come ahead of Marvell's planned entry into the S&P 500 on June 22, when it will replace Pool Corporation in the benchmark index.

Original source text
Key Takeaways Advanced Micro Devices is seeing strong data center growth from EPYC processors and Instinct AI accelerators.AMD is expanding AI infrastructure with new platforms and expects AI data center revenue growth by 2027.Marvell Technology is benefiting from AI networking demand, but premium valuation and mix risks remain. Marvell Technology (MRVL - Free Report) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD - Free Report) are two semiconductor stocks riding the artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure wave. Increasing AI workload is creating demand for high-performance CPUs and networking chips. Inferencing and agentic AI applications require significant CPU compute for orchestration, parallel execution and accelerator management. It also needs faster networking, lower latency and higher bandwidth for faster data movement.

With the AI boom to continue driving growth for the semiconductor industry, the question remains: Which stock makes for a better investment pick today? Let’s dive into the fundamentals, valuations, growth outlook and risks for each company.

The Case for MRVL StockMarvell Technology is benefiting from AI-led demand across the data center end market, with custom silicon, interconnect, switching and optics driving record revenues and a strong multi-year outlook. MRVL’s scale-out switch revenues are expected to exceed $600 million in fiscal 2027 and reach more than $1 billion annualized run rate in fiscal 2028. Furthermore, a stronger demand for 1.6T solutions, coherent light and scale-up networking provides a broader opportunity in scale-up optics.

The company’s first-quarter fiscal 2027 results reinforced its momentum in AI infrastructure. Revenues rose 28% year over year to $2.42 billion, with data center up 27% to $1.83 billion and representing 76% of sales. MRVL’s custom silicon strategy continues to benefit from hyperscaler demand for differentiated XPU and XPU-attach solutions. The company has highlighted more than 20 multi-generational socket wins and a broad design pipeline, which supports a longer runway than a single product cycle.

Networking remains a key beneficiary of rising AI cluster size and complexity. Marvell Technology now expects its interconnect business to grow more than 70% year over year in fiscal 2027, supported by scale-out PAM ramp-ups and growing contributions from scale-up and scale-across networking. Given these dynamics, MRVL expects fiscal 2027 revenues to grow about 40% year over year to nearly $11.5 billion and sees fiscal 2028 revenues rising about 45% to roughly $16.5 billion.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for fiscal 2027 revenues and earnings growth rate is pegged at 42% and 53% year over year, respectively. Earnings estimates have been revised upward in the past 30 days. However, MRVL also faces risks of moving toward a lower margin product mix as newer data center platforms ramp up. Geopolitical challenges also remain a concern for the company as MRVL remains heavily dependent on China and Taiwan.

The Case for AMD StockAdvanced Micro Devices is experiencing accelerating momentum from the expanding AI infrastructure market, with Data Center emerging as the company’s primary growth engine. In the first quarter of 2026, Data Center revenues surged 57% year over year to a record $5.8 billion, driven by strong demand for EPYC server processors and Instinct AI accelerators.

AMD’s Server CPU revenues increased more than 50% year over year for the fourth consecutive quarter, supported by robust cloud and enterprise adoption of fifth-generation EPYC Turin processors and continued demand for fourth-generation EPYC products. AMD now expects the server CPU total addressable market to grow more than 35% annually and exceed $120 billion by 2030, double its previous outlook.

Advanced Micro Devices is also strengthening its position in AI accelerators. Adoption of Instinct GPUs is accelerating as customers move from pilot projects to large-scale production deployments, particularly for inference workloads, where AMD’s memory capacity and bandwidth provide advantages. Strategic partnerships with Meta and OpenAI further enhance visibility into future demand. The company has begun ramping its next-generation AI infrastructure platform built around Instinct GPUs, EPYC Venice processors and the Helios rack-scale architecture.

The demand for MI450 and Helios continues to exceed initial expectations, driven by growing engagement from hyperscalers and AI-native customers. Supported by expanding supply-chain capacity and strengthening customer forecasts, AMD expects its Data Center AI business to generate billions of dollars in annual revenues by 2027. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for 2026 revenues and earnings growth rate is pegged at 41% and 73% year over year, respectively. Earnings estimates for 2026 have been revised upward in the past 30 days.

Marvell Technology Skyrocketed on a Stunning Nvidia Endorsement: Could It Be the Next Trillion-Dollar AI Stock?
MRVL Marvell Technology Group
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Nvidia (NVDA +3.08%) has a great investing track record, which makes sense considering its position in the tech world. Because of the central role it plays in the artificial intelligence (AI) industry, it has to interact with many companies to ensure that its products are compatible, and it even forms partnerships when the situation is right. One company it recently promoted was Marvell Technology (MRVL +7.30%). Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is so bullish on Marvell that he recently asserted that it was on course to be the next trillion-dollar company. Given that it currently sports a $270 billion market cap, it has a long way to go to reach that point, but if it does reach the $1 trillion level, that would be a tremendous result for those who invest in it now.

Since Huang's comments on Marvell at the start of June, the stock has skyrocketed by more than 40%. The question investors must answer is whether that jump captured all of the stock's near-term upside, or if it has more room to rise.

Marvell has a range of products Marvell has two primary product lines that are of interest to AI investors. First is its networking and connectivity hardware; Nvidia has ensured that its own products are compatible with Marvell's here, because those networking solutions are so popular in data centers. Second, it designs ASICs, or application-specific integrated circuits, and it's a bit of a head-scratcher as to why Nvidia would endorse those. ASICs are custom chips that are designed to handle a narrow range of workloads. They are nothing new, but they're becoming a lot more popular in the AI computing world, as they allow companies to tailor a chip to the specific type of workload it is expected to see during its useful life. They can thus be manufactured at lower costs and operate with greater efficiency than Nvidia's graphics processing units (GPUs), which can handle a far broader range of computing tasks. So such hardware poses a direct competitive challenge to Nvidia's primary business.

This makes an endorsement from Nvidia even more impressive, as it speaks highly of a company that's both a partner and a competitor.

Marvell is clearly involved in an industry that's expected to grow at a rapid pace over the long term, but does that make it a buy?

In the first quarter, Marvell's revenue rose 28% year over year. While that would be a strong growth rate for a company in most sectors, it's a bit slow for a business that's involved in AI. Wall Street expects Marvell's revenue to rise at a 41% pace for the rest of 2026 and a 45% pace next year. That would be a solid improvement, but even that may not be enough to justify its current price tag.

Trading at 76 times forward earnings and 50 times next year's expected earnings, Marvell is far from a cheap stock.

MRVL PE Ratio (Forward) data by YCharts.

Compare that to plain old Nvidia, which trades for 24 times forward earnings and 17 times next year's expected earnings, and Marvell doesn't seem like such a good investment following its recent share price spike.

While Marvell may be a trendy pick right now, it's going to need several years of strong earnings growth to reach the $1 trillion club, and it will be some time before that happens (if it ever does). I think investors shouldn't stray too far from the basics on this one, and should stick with a stalwart like Nvidia instead.

Wall Street predicts Marvell stock price for next 12 months
MRVL Marvell Technology Group
FMP Stock News
Original source text
As Marvell Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MRVL) stock surges ahead of its confirmed June 22 entry into the S&P 500, KeyBanc has issued a bullish price target for the next 12 months.

On June 18, the firm raised its target to $385 from $260 while reiterating an Overweight rating. The new figure implies roughly 19% upside from MRVL’s price of $323.05 at press time.

The price target hike reflects KeyBanc’s growing conviction in Marvell’s data center networking opportunity. Following recent investor meetings with the company, analyst John Vinh sees silicon photonics and the acquisition of Celestial AI helping Marvell differentiate.

Vinh argues that networking should increasingly be a focus for investors, viewing it as more durable than custom XPUs. While Marvell has a clear path to $10 billion in custom XPU revenue by FY29, the analyst sees the long-term sustainability of that business as less certain.

Meanwhile, Wall Street analysts have set the highest price target for MRVL stock at $385, an average target at $256.81, and the lowest at $180, according to data from TipRanks.

Marvell Technology (MRVL +7.30%), a custom AI chip provider, closed at $310.58 after rising 7.27%. With S&P 500 inclusion around the corner, the stock climbed on an analyst upgrade and wider tech strength. Trading volume reached 187.8 million shares, coming in about 383% above its three-month average of 38.9 million shares. Marvell Technology IPO'd in 2000 and has grown almost 2,150% since going public.

How the markets moved todayThe S&P 500 (^GSPC +1.08%) closed at 7,501, up 1.08%, while the Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC +1.91%) finished at 26,518, up 1.91%. Among semiconductor and data infrastructure integrated circuits peers, Broadcom (AVGO +4.87%) closed at $411.35, up 4.70%, and Qualcomm (QCOM +6.52%) closed at $226.11, up 6.17%, showing chipmaker strength.

What this means for investorsStocks rallied today after the U.S. and Iran took another step towards peace. Marvell Technology surged more than most after KeyBanc upped its price target from $260 to $385. The stock is also set to join the S&P 500 next week, and buying from funds that track the index often gives newcomers a short-term price boost. However, that’s likely already priced in, and what matters more is whether Marvell — which has gained more than 265% year-to-date — can sustain its momentum.

KeyBanc certainly thinks it can, with analysts highlighting growing demand for its optical networking capabilities. Marvell thinks it can too: Last month, the firm upped its 2028 revenue guidance from $15 billion to $16.5 billion. As big tech firms continue to increase their AI spending, demand for Marvell’s specialized chips looks set to grow, particularly given its expanding partnership with Nvidia (NVDA +3.08%).

Investors are starting to focus more on individual fundamentals rather than the whole AI sector, and Marvell’s partnerships and continued innovation could make it an attractive proposition.
