SBA Communications NASDAQ: SBAC reported third-quarter results that management said met expectations, supported by domestic leasing activity, high tower cash flow margins and capital returns to shareholders. The company also raised the midpoint of its 2026 outlook for adjusted funds from operations, or AFFO, and AFFO per share, while continuing a portfolio review that has included international divestitures.
President and Chief Executive Officer Brendan Cavanagh said the company generated “industry-leading AFFO per share,” continued to review its portfolio and returned more than $430 million to shareholders through dividends and stock repurchases during the quarter.

Leasing Activity and Network Demand
Cavanagh said U.S. customer activity during the third quarter was slightly below first-half levels but aligned with the company’s expectations. The majority of activity continued to come from new leases as wireless carriers seek to address coverage gaps and add network capacity, while carriers also upgrade existing equipment with 5G-capable mid-band spectrum, C-band holdings, massive MIMO technology and higher-capacity radios.
Management pointed to fixed wireless access subscriber growth and expanding mobile data consumption as factors increasing strain on wireless networks. Cavanagh cited CTIA data showing U.S. mobile data traffic rose 20% in 2025, with demand expected to quadruple by 2032.
The company sees potential future leasing catalysts from additional spectrum deployments. Cavanagh noted that the FCC’s upper C-band auction is scheduled to begin in April 2027 and must be completed by July, making 160 MHz of spectrum available between 3.98 GHz and 4.14 GHz. He said that spectrum, combined with existing lower C-band holdings, would create 440 MHz of contiguous mid-band spectrum for wireless use.
“Whoever wins this spectrum will have to put it into commercial service, and putting it into service means new equipment on our towers,” Cavanagh said.
He also cited potential future commercial spectrum opportunities in the 1.6 GHz, 2.0 GHz, 2.7 GHz, 4 GHz and 7 GHz bands. While the timing of carrier activity can vary quarter to quarter, Cavanagh said the company believes the spectrum pipeline could support organic leasing growth into the next decade.
Quarterly Operations, Churn and Guidance
Chief Financial Officer Marc Montagner said third-quarter results were in line with expectations. SBA reported company-wide Tower Cash Flow margins of 80% and an Adjusted EBITDA margin of 69%. AFFO per share was $3.19, and the company paid a quarterly cash dividend of $1.25 per share.
Domestic new lease and amendment billings totaled about $8 million during the quarter.
International new lease and amendment billings totaled about $5 million.
Sprint-related churn was $16 million in the third quarter, with full-year churn expected to be $55 million to $56 million.
EchoStar-related churn was $14 million in the quarter, with 2026 churn expected to total $36 million.
International churn guidance remained at a $38 million midpoint for 2026.
Montagner said SBA expects free churn in 2027 to be below $20 million. Cavanagh said normalized U.S. churn could eventually move toward roughly 1% after the company works through larger Sprint- and EchoStar-related amounts. International churn is expected to remain elevated in 2027 amid carrier consolidation, restructuring and network rationalization before beginning to normalize in 2028.
The company increased the midpoint of its 2026 guidance for AFFO by $2 million and AFFO per share by $0.08. Excluding foreign-exchange changes and the sales of Chilean and Ecuadorian operations, the midpoint of AFFO increased by $5 million and AFFO per share increased by $0.11, Montagner said. The improvement was attributed primarily to lower net cash interest expense, lower non-discretionary capital expenditures and the effect of a lower share count following third-quarter repurchases.
International Portfolio Review Continues
SBA agreed during the third quarter to sell approximately 1,800 sites in three South American markets, completing its exit from the region outside Brazil. The markets represent about $43 million of annual leasing revenue and $20.5 million of annual Adjusted EBITDA. Two of the market exits had closed by the time of the call, and management expects the remaining transaction to close by year-end.
The company had previously exited the Philippines and Colombia in early 2025 and Canada in October 2025. Montagner said the Chile and Ecuador transactions reduced full-year outlook by approximately $10 million of site leasing revenue, $6 million of Tower Cash Flow and $4 million of Adjusted EBITDA. SBA’s outlook did not include the pending sale of towers in Peru, which remains subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
Meanwhile, SBA built 210 international towers during the quarter, more than double the 99 built in the previous quarter, primarily in Central America and Africa. Cavanagh said South Africa and Tanzania have produced strong returns on invested capital, and the company expects to continue investing where it has scale, strong relationships with leading carriers and attractive return opportunities.
Capital Allocation and Edge Computing
SBA repurchased 1.7 million shares for $300 million at an average price of $179.68 per share since its prior earnings report. As of the call date, $800 million remained under its repurchase authorization. The company also paid $131.3 million in dividends during the third quarter, bringing total quarterly shareholder returns from dividends and repurchases to approximately $430 million.
The board declared a quarterly dividend of $1.25 per share payable Dec. 10 to shareholders of record on Nov. 12. Montagner said the dividend was approximately 13% above the prior-year period’s payment.
SBA’s leverage was 6.4 times net debt to Adjusted EBITDA, below the midpoint of its six-to-seven-times target range. The company issued $3.5 billion of investment-grade bonds in July, established a $2.5 billion commercial paper program in September and had no outstanding balance under its revolver or commercial paper program as of the call.
Management also discussed its SBA Edge initiative, which uses available power, fiber, security and space at tower sites to support distributed AI inference workloads. Cavanagh said several edge sites are operating with different companies, with incremental capital requirements remaining minimal so far. Revenue contributions are currently modest, he said, but the company sees potential to expand the platform across its U.S. tower portfolio.

, /PRNewswire/ -- Why: Rosen Law Firm, a global investor rights law firm, reminds purchasers of Class A common stock of Duolingo, Inc. (NASDAQ: DUOL) between May 2, 2025 to February 26, 2026, inclusive (the "Class Period"), of the important December 7, 2026 lead plaintiff deadline.
So what: If you purchased Duolingo Class A common stock during the Class Period you may be entitled to compensation without payment of any out of pocket fees or costs through a contingency fee arrangement.
What to do next: To join the Duolingo class action, go to https://rosenlegal.com/cases/duolingo-inc/join or call Phillip Kim, Esq. toll-free at 866-767-3653 or email [email protected] for information on the class action. A class action lawsuit has already been filed. If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the Court no later than December 7, 2026. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation.
Why Rosen Law: We encourage investors to select qualified counsel with a track record of success in leadership roles. Often, firms issuing notices do not have comparable experience, resources, or any meaningful peer recognition. Many of these firms do not actually handle securities class actions, but are merely middlemen that refer clients or partner with law firms that actually litigate the cases. Be wise in selecting counsel. The Rosen Law Firm represents investors throughout the globe, concentrating its practice in securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation. Rosen Law Firm has achieved the largest ever securities class action settlement against a Chinese Company. Rosen Law Firm was Ranked No. 1 by ISS Securities Class Action Services for number of securities class action settlements in 2017. The firm has been ranked in the top 4 each year since 2013 and has recovered billions of dollars for investors. In 2019 alone the firm secured over $438 million for investors. In 2020, founding partner Laurence Rosen was named by law360 as a Titan of Plaintiffs' Bar. Many of the firm's attorneys have been recognized by Lawdragon and Super Lawyers.
Details of the case: According to the lawsuit, defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Daily Active User ("DAU") growth rates were being leveraged against deliberately added user friction in the form of significant increases in ad volume, subscription tier upsells, and worsened product quality, and defendants understood that any amount of user friction would cause users to leave the app and, ultimately, negatively impact DAU growth rates; (2) Duolingo's rigorous A/B testing demonstrated to defendants that increased friction in the free user experience was having negative impacts on DAU growth rates; (3) Duolingo's quickly generated AI content was worsening the quality of Duolingo's product offerings, negatively impacting the user experience and user trends, and threatening the sustainability of Duolingo's financial performance; and (4) far from driving sustained growth and strong user momentum through content and "product improvements" that "get improved retention," Duolingo's constant A/B testing informed Duolingo that its monetization push and lower-quality, rapidly generated AI content were degrading the Duolingo product experience and the value proposition of its subscription tiers. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.
To join the Duolingo class action, go to https://rosenlegal.com/cases/duolingo-inc/join or call Phillip Kim, Esq. toll-free at 866-767-3653 or email [email protected] for information on the class action.

What's Next for Lattice? While Lattice has outperformed the market so far this year, the question that comes to investors' minds is: what's next for the stock?

One other stock from the same industry, Ambarella (AMBA - Free Report) , is yet to report results for the quarter ended October 2026.

Ambarella's revenues are expected to be $119.94 million, up 10.6% from the year-ago quarter.

Ethena (ENA) trades near $0.17, down more than 6% in 24 hours, as altcoins slide, Binance hack proceeds are sold and a token unlock nears.
Ethena's governance token $ENA fell to around $0.17 on Monday, down more than 6% over 24 hours, as a broad altcoin decline pushed $NEAR, $ZEC and $WLD lower by 5% or more. Bitcoin slipped about 1.2% over the same period. Over the past seven days, ENA has lost roughly 18%, compared with about 4% for Bitcoin and about 3% for $ETH.
Binance Hack Proceeds Add Selling PressureThe weakness follows the Binance security breach of October 29. Crypto.news reported that on-chain analytics firm Lookonchain found the attacker sold 217.5 million ENA for $33.93 million, swapping the tokens for Ether at an average price near $0.16. ENA was one of seven altcoins the attacker converted. According to Crypto Times, the seven tokens were swapped for a combined 70,480 ETH, worth about $158.25 million.
Binance has said it set aside more than $6.34 billion in company funds to compensate users, according to Bloomingbit. The same report said a wallet tied to Ethena deposited 128.6 million ENA, worth $24.33 million, to Binance, which raised the possibility of an over-the-counter deal to help replace stolen tokens. Crypto Times noted that neither Binance nor Ethena had confirmed the purpose of the transfer at the time of publication.
Token Unlock Adds Fresh Supply@ethena also has a scheduled token unlock this week. CoinDesk's weekly crypto calendar lists a November 5 unlock of 0.88% of ENA's circulating supply, worth $17.86 million. Unlock estimates differ between data providers, and token unlocks can add to selling pressure by increasing circulating supply.
Price pressure on ENA has been building for some time. DiarioBitcoin data showed the token down about 25.5% over 30 days as of November 2, trading below its short-term moving averages. Traders are likely to watch whether the unlock and any further Binance-related token flows add to supply in a market that is already under strain.

Shares of Wingstop (WING +8.89%) climbed nearly 9% on Monday, furthering their post-earnings announcement ascent.

Wingstop posted higher-than-expected profitsThe restaurant chain reported its third-quarter financial results on Oct. 28.
Revenue rose 5.3% year over year to $185 million, driven by new store openings. Wingstop launched 76 net new stores, bringing its total count to 3,331 locations as of Sept. 26. That includes 2,787 restaurants in the U.S. and 544 franchised locations in international markets.
Yet sales at Wingstop's existing restaurants fell. Domestic same-store sales, which measure revenue generated from locations open for at least a year, declined 5.4%. The company also lowered its full-year same-store sales forecast to a decline of 6.5% to 7%.
Wingstop, like many restaurant chains, is struggling to drive traffic to its stores. With gas prices and other costs rising, many consumers are pulling back on dining out.
WING Wingstop$163.04+$13.31 (+8.89%)
NASDAQ · As of 4:00 PM ET 11/02/26
Still, Wingstop's adjusted net income came in at $29.3 million, or $1.08 per share. That topped Wall Street's estimates, which had called for per-share profits of $1.02.
A long runway for expansionCEO Michael Skipworth said the chain's new Club Wingstop loyalty program is helping to entice guests to return to its restaurants more often. Skipworth believes this program, combined with operational investments designed to increase service speed and order accuracy, will help reinvigorate the company's sales growth.
Wingstop, in turn, plans to open as many as 450 net stores in 2026.
Looking further ahead, management sees a far larger opportunity. "Our development pipeline remains robust with over 2,300 committed restaurants globally," Skipworth said during a conference call with analysts.
Skipworth is confident that Wingstop can ultimately grow its global store count to more than 10,000 restaurants, including 1,000 stores in India alone.

Euro to Dollar Forecast: UBS Recovery View Faces French Fiscal Risks
The Euro is recovering against the US Dollar, but UBS's view that the sell-off went too far faces persistent pressure from France's fiscal problems.
The Euro to Dollar exchange rate rose around 0.4% to $1.1202 on Monday, beginning to recover ground while French bond-market tensions remained unresolved.
Latest — Exchange Rates:
Euro to Dollar (EUR/USD): 1.119056 (+0.28%)
Pound to Dollar (GBP/USD): 1.340795 (+0.14%)
Dollar to Yen (USD/JPY): 157.90105 (+0.20%)
UBS expects further gains by end-2026:
"Our analysis suggests the decline in EURUSD has exceeded what fundamentals alone would imply, and we expect the pair to recover toward 1.16 by year-end."
UBS retained its forecast after Christine Lagarde announced her departure from the European Central Bank.
Fitch's subsequent warning on France's public finances adds to the risks surrounding that call.
MUFG attributes Monday's Euro improvement partly to lower oil prices, but sees French fiscal risks continuing to limit its upside.
UBS expects continuity at the ECB
Lagarde will remain president until 7 February 2027, and the ECB's latest policy statement left rates unchanged while emphasising the competing inflation and growth risks from expensive energy.
UBS writes: "Lagarde's resignation does not change our base case for the euro."
"A smooth leadership transition and policy continuity should follow President Lagarde's exit, while the near-term policy path will likely remain data dependent and shaped primarily by inflation, wages, growth, and financing conditions rather than by the leadership transition itself."
UBS keeps a December increase in play, but doubts that energy and inflation developments justify the additional three quarter-point rises reflected in the market pricing it was assessing.
Higher government borrowing costs are already applying a brake to the economy, particularly where investors demand more compensation for fiscal risk.
UBS writes: "The ECB acknowledged that tighter financing conditions are likely to weigh on both inflation and growth, while stopping short of signaling immediate intervention in French bond markets."
"As such, we don't see the central bank ratcheting up its hawkishness at a time when intra-Eurozone sovereign spreads are under pressure."
The bank's Euro recovery forecast therefore does not rest on an increasingly aggressive ECB rate cycle.
On US policy, UBS writes:
"The combination of above-target inflation and resilient economic activity supports our expectation that the Fed will tighten further, with one 25-basis-point increase each in December and March."
Its $1.16 Euro forecast therefore assumes recovery despite continued US tightening, with relative policy expectations and the price already paid for European risks both important.
UBS cautions: "The path may remain volatile, however, as relative monetary policy, energy prices, sovereign spreads, and geopolitical developments pull currencies in different directions."
France still limits the recovery
French government bonds remain the more immediate obstacle.
MUFG currency analyst Lee Hardman writes: "Upside potential for the euro continues to be held back by heightened fiscal risks in France."
"The 10-year yield spread between French and German government bonds remains elevated at around 1.65%."
That is roughly 165 basis points of additional annual yield demanded to hold French debt rather than German bonds of the same maturity.
Fitch left France's credit rating at A+ on Friday but changed the outlook to negative, as confirmed by France's debt agency.
The negative outlook signals a greater risk of a future downgrade.
The difficulty of delivering a credible budget becomes greater when growth weakens, and France's first estimate showed GDP contracting by 0.1% in the third quarter.
Those pressures build on the recent conflict between Euro interest-rate support and French bond-market stress.
UBS acknowledges the risk without changing its broader borrowing-cost outlook: "While French fiscal and political risks could keep sovereign spreads volatile (and further widening remains possible without credible fiscal consolidation), we still expect European borrowing costs to decline into next year."
What This Means for EUR/USD
Monday's rise is consistent with a recovery, but it does not yet establish that investors are prepared to look past France's fiscal problems. The large premium on French debt remains a constraint even when lower oil prices offer the Euro relief.
UBS's $1.16 end-2026 view would become easier to sustain if credible fiscal decisions reduced that premium without a fresh energy shock. A smooth ECB leadership transition would remove one source of uncertainty, but would not itself repair the public finances.
For now, additional ECB rate rises need not translate into a stronger Euro if they accompany weaker growth and more expensive government funding. Persistent French bond stress would make the remaining recovery UBS expects harder to achieve.

On its third quarter of 2026 earnings call, held on Nov. 2, 2026, Public Service Enterprise (PEG +0.12%) announced full-year profit guidance and reaffirmed long-term targets driven by power grid upgrades. The company offers predictable earnings by expanding its regulated electric and gas network while securing forward power sales for its nuclear fleet. Three things management said stand out.
1. Multiyear Growth Targets Remain Intact Through 2030Regulated capital investments in energy efficiency and power distribution drive rate base growth, which is the baseline asset value used to calculate allowed customer rates. Management confirmed it doesn't need to sell new stock or dilute existing shareholders to fund these plans.
We are reaffirming both our full year 2026 non GAAP operating earnings guidance and PSEG's 5-year growth outlook of 6% to 8% through 2030.
-- Ralph LaRossa, Chair, President, and Chief Executive Officer2. Forward Power Hedges Protect Nuclear Revenue From Regional SpreadsPower generation pricing varies across regional power market delivery hubs. Selling nuclear output forward at local delivery points shields revenue from pricing gaps between adjacent transmission zones.
As we have stated in the past, our realized energy price for our 5-unit nuclear fleet is historically aligned with the PECO Zone, and has traded at about a 20% discount to the more liquid PJM Western hub.
-- Daniel J. Cregg, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer3. State Proposal Targets Regulatory Lag on Utility InvestmentsPublic Service Enterprise faces regulatory lag, which is the delay between spending capital on grid improvements and recovering those costs through customer rate adjustments. Management plans to file a targeted proposal with state regulators to shorten this recovery timeline on recent upgrades.
We anticipate filing a proposal with the New Jersey BPU to address the regulatory lag of capital investments made since our last distribution rate case.
-- Ralph LaRossa, Chair, President, and Chief Executive OfficerLooking AheadExecution continues smoothly across regulated transmission lines and nuclear operations, providing steady cash flows for capital spending. System modernization and grid reliability remain key value drivers, while management watches pricing discipline and regional power auction delays.
Looking ahead, our solid balance sheet supports the execution of PSEG's predominantly regulated 5-year capital spending plan, without the need to issue new equity or sell assets and provides the opportunity for consistent and sustainable dividend growth.
-- Daniel J. Cregg, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial OfficerConstructive regulatory filings and potential long-term nuclear supply contracts with large power users create incremental upside beyond baseline projections.
In summary, our teams continue to execute our business plan. We are delivering solid results and customer value, we are making steady progress on the regulatory front.

AST SPACEMOBILE, INC. CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT - COMPLAINT ALLEGATION SUMMARY:
The complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material facts about the company’s business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, Defendants failed to disclose to investors that: (1) AST’s increasing capital requirements were likely to increase the company’s debt load and share dilution with greater frequency and at greater scale than Defendants had signaled to investors; (2) accordingly, AST had overstated the sufficiency of the company’s capital and liquidity position to achieve its strategic and business goals; (3) AST likewise overstated the durability of its competitive position in the satellite D2C market; (4) even following the EchoStar Transaction, Defendants continued overstating AST’s competitive position in the satellite D2C market; (5) AST was experiencing slow user adoption in the U.S. and Japan; (6) the foregoing was likely to have a significant negative impact on AST’s business and financial prospects; and (7) as a result, Defendants’ public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.
Why did AST’s Stock Drop?
Between September 8, 2025 and July 15, 2026, a series of stock downgrades and company disclosures caused AST’s stock price to fall significantly. Specifically, on January 7, 2026, Scotiabank downgraded AST to sell, citing, among other things, significant competition from SpaceX's Starlink, slow customer adoption, and delays in launching AST's satellites. Then, on July 15, 2026, AST issued a press release "announc[ing] the pricing of $1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of 1.625% convertible senior notes due 2034". Following these disclosures, AST’s Class A common stock price fell $11.30 per share, or 17.04%, to close at $55.01 per share on July 16, 2026.

Details of the case: According to the lawsuit, throughout the Class Period, defendants made materially false and misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Hims shared consumers' health information with third-party advertising platforms; (2) Hims charges consumers for prescriptions almost immediately after they submit an intake form, despite telling consumers that they will be able to consult with a medical provider to find a treatment that is "right for them;" (3) the foregoing conduct subjected Hims to regulatory scrutiny; (4) as a result of the foregoing, Hims was reasonably likely to incur fees and penalties; and (5) as a result of the foregoing, defendants' positive statements about Hims' business, operations, and prospects were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.
To join the Hims class action, go to https://rosenlegal.com/cases/hims-hers-health-inc/join or call Phillip Kim, Esq. toll-free at 866-767-3653 or email [email protected] for information on the class action.
No Class Has Been Certified. Until a class is certified, you are not represented by counsel unless you retain one. You may select counsel of your choice. You may also remain an absent class member and do nothing at this point. An investor's ability to share in any potential future recovery is not dependent upon serving as lead plaintiff.

3 Small-Cap Stocks to Watch After the Fed’s Rate CutsEmergent Biosolutions NYSE: EBS reported third-quarter revenue within its guidance range and updated its full-year outlook, while continuing a multiyear transformation focused on cost control, debt reduction, medical countermeasures and naloxone access.
The company recorded third-quarter revenue of $110 million, compared with $231 million in the prior-year period. Chief Financial Officer Rich Lindahl said the year-over-year decline was primarily driven by the timing of medical countermeasure, or MCM, deliveries. Stronger deliveries in the second quarter accelerated revenue that otherwise affected the third-quarter comparison, he said.

Big Rallies Brewing? 3 Analyst Favorites to Watch CloselyYear-to-date revenue totaled $500 million, while adjusted EBITDA was $128 million, representing a 25% margin. The company generated $122 million in operating cash flow through Sept. 30.
Cost Actions and Balance Sheet Progress Emergent implemented restructuring actions in August intended to improve efficiency and better align resources with strategic priorities. Lindahl said the company expects the measures to produce approximately $40 million in annualized savings, with the initial impact expected in the fourth quarter.
Watch These 4 Overbought Stocks As Market Rotation ContinuesThird-quarter adjusted EBITDA was negative $5 million, while adjusted gross margin was 28%. SG&A and research-and-development expenses were $56 million, including $8 million in restructuring costs. Excluding those costs, operating expenses were lower than in the third quarter of 2025, according to Lindahl.
The company ended the quarter with $176 million in cash and $226 million of total liquidity. During the quarter, Emergent repurchased $75 million in aggregate principal of unsecured bonds for $68 million in cash.
Gross debt was $514 million at Sept. 30, compared with $693 million a year earlier. Net debt was $339 million, compared with $448 million a year earlier. Net leverage was 2.4 times trailing 12-month adjusted EBITDA, compared with 1.9 times a year ago. Lindahl said that since the end of 2023, the company has generated $352 million in cumulative operating cash flow and reduced gross debt by $354 million, or 41%. Net debt declined by $418 million, or 55%, over that period, while net leverage fell from approximately 16 times to approximately 2.4 times.
Emergent also repurchased 2 million shares for $18.1 million year to date and had $37.3 million remaining under its share-repurchase authorization at quarter-end.
MCM Deliveries and International Sales Emergent's MCM business generated $59 million in third-quarter revenue. The results included a $24 million CYFENDUS contract modification, with product delivered to the U.S. government during the quarter. The company also completed the majority of a TEMBEXA tablet delivery under a U.S. government contract modification awarded in March.
President and Chief Executive Officer Joe Papa said Emergent has now executed all six anticipated U.S. government contract modifications.
Internationally, the company made sales to 13 countries and closed 19 sales in the quarter. International sales and product orders contributed $72 million of revenue, representing 22% of year-to-date MCM revenue.
During the question-and-answer session, Papa said the company maintains ongoing discussions with U.S., Canadian and other government customers regarding stockpile needs. He said some orders can shift between quarters based on specific circumstances, but the company believes it has relatively good visibility into its programs.
Lindahl said the full-year revenue range reflects the possibility that certain international and U.S. government orders could materialize in the fourth quarter or early 2027.
Naloxone Market and Growth Programs Commercial revenue declined during the quarter as the naloxone market faced competitive pricing and volume pressure. Lindahl said pricing for NARCAN compared with the second quarter was relatively stable, and the company's naloxone performance was consistent with its prior outlook.
Papa said Emergent continues to hold the leading U.S. market position for NARCAN nasal spray. He cited continued need for overdose-reversal medications despite a decline in opioid overdose deaths, and said the company is working to expand access through states, law enforcement, harm-reduction organizations, retailers and workplaces.
The company also continues to offer KLOXXADO, an 8-milligram naloxone nasal spray, as another option for first responders and caregivers. Papa said newly approved naloxone competitors had not made a major market impact so far, though the company continues to monitor the competitive environment.
In Canada, Emergent said NARCAN has continued to grow, and the Canadian government recently executed a standing offer that creates a multiyear pathway for the product.
Looking beyond its existing portfolio, Emergent is advancing a pan-Ebola therapeutic program, evaluating a pan-flu vaccine opportunity and progressing work related to Novavax, Ebanga and Raxibacumab. Papa said the company is also pursuing artificial-intelligence and machine-learning collaborations related to pipeline opportunities and preparedness against bioterrorism risks.
Updated 2026 Outlook and Leadership Transition Emergent updated its full-year 2026 guidance to revenue of $600 million to $645 million. The company expects MCM revenue to decline from the prior year based on the timing of remaining international deliveries and U.S. government procurement.
For the commercial business, which is primarily driven by NARCAN, the company said it is tracking toward the lower end of its previously stated expectation for a 20% to 25% revenue decline versus 2025.
The company raised its adjusted gross-margin outlook to 45% to 47%, a 300-basis-point increase from its August guidance, citing manufacturing improvements, product mix and stabilization in U.S. public-interest-channel NARCAN pricing. Adjusted EBITDA is now expected to range from $110 million to $140 million.
Emergent also announced that Lindahl will retire as CFO effective Dec. 31. Frank Vargo, the company's vice president and treasurer, will become interim CFO on Jan. 1, 2027. Lindahl will remain a senior executive advisor through March 31, 2027.

Foolish TakeA look at the revenue trends between C3.ai and SentinelOne immediately reveals which company is struggling and which is soaring. SentinelOne's sales have consistently experienced quarter-over-quarter expansion stretching back the past two years. This performance illustrates the growing demand among organizations for cybersecurity. The need is particularly pressing amid the rise of artificial intelligence, as the tech can execute lightning-fast hacks with efficiency and at unprecedented scale.
Due to AI’s arrival, I expect SentinelOne's revenue trajectory to continue climbing. In fact, the company forecasted its fiscal third quarter sales to come in between $309 million and $311 million.
C3.ai was doing well two years ago, with revenue growing every quarter until Q2 of 2025. CEO Thomas Siebel had to resign from the position due to health issues last year, and that was when sales nosedived. The company announced his return in June, but it will take time for Siebel to undo the damage from his absence.
C3.ai's $52.4 million in Q2 of this year suggests the possibility of a return to quarterly sales growth. Not only was Q2's top-line figure an improvement over Q1, the company reported a 73% quarter-over-quarter increase in customer bookings. This suggests C3.ai is signing up clients at a solid clip. Subsequent quarters will show if that performance translates into revenue growth.
C3.ai, Inc. (AI - Free Report) closed at $11.55 in the latest trading session, marking a -2.53% move from the prior day. This change lagged the S&P 500's daily loss of 0.51%. Meanwhile, the Dow experienced a rise of 0.41%, and the technology-dominated Nasdaq saw a decrease of 1.07%.
The company's shares have seen an increase of 7.63% over the last month, surpassing the Computer and Technology sector's loss of 9.88% and the S&P 500's loss of 0.87%.
Investors will be eagerly watching for the performance of C3.ai, Inc. in its upcoming earnings disclosure. The company is forecasted to report an EPS of -$0.22, showcasing a 12% upward movement from the corresponding quarter of the prior year. Alongside, our most recent consensus estimate is anticipating revenue of $53.09 million, indicating a 29.36% downward movement from the same quarter last year.
For the entire fiscal year, the Zacks Consensus Estimates are projecting earnings of -$0.76 per share and a revenue of $223.01 million, representing changes of +43.7% and -10.89%, respectively, from the prior year.
Investors should also pay attention to any latest changes in analyst estimates for C3.ai, Inc. These revisions typically reflect the latest short-term business trends, which can change frequently. As a result, we can interpret positive estimate revisions as a good sign for the business outlook.
Our research suggests that these changes in estimates have a direct relationship with upcoming stock price performance. To benefit from this, we have developed the Zacks Rank, a proprietary model which takes these estimate changes into account and provides an actionable rating system.

Hyperliquid (HYPE) and Pepe (PEPE) were among the best weekly performers as the wider crypto market sold off after a reported Binance hack. Here is what drove the moves.
Hyperliquid's $HYPE token and $PEPE were among the strongest crypto assets over the past week, rising while much of the broader market came under pressure. Both tokens recovered after a correction, though the size of the gains varies depending on the data provider and the time of measurement.
HYPE and PEPE Post Gains Despite Market PressureCoinGecko data shows Pepe's price was up 15.30% over seven days at the time of its page snapshot, alongside a 1.80% decline over 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. Other trackers show a narrower move. , while .
For Hyperliquid, the range is similar. , while . A separate weekly review put the rise at 14.5%, with HYPE at $87.68 based on CoinGecko prices. Hyperliquid is witnessing sustained sell pressure across its spot and derivatives markets over the past weeks, although the market is gradually showing signs of a potential relief.
While the market has remained weak since last month, the latest data from Coinglass shows that momentum is gradually being restored, but long traders are still getting wiped out from the Hyperliquid derivatives market.
Hyperliquid's long liquidation hits $3.99 million With the market already showing signs of a potential relief, it appears that bullish leveraged traders are still getting hit by HYPE's current mixed price action more than short traders.
HOT Stories
According to the data, a total of $4.49 million in HYPE positions were liquidated over the last 24 hours. Notably, long positions accounted for $3.99 million, which marks 88.9% of the total liquidations seen during the same period.
This means that short traders were barely affected, as further data showed that short liquidations only stood at $496,730, marking just 11.1% of the total liquidations.

As such, the fast-growing crypto asset has witnessed a liquidation imbalance of 703% over the last 24 hours, as long liquidations were substantially higher than short liquidations.
Apparently, this means that traders betting on HYPE's price surge have suffered nearly eight times the losses recorded by bearish traders.
HYPE sees hourly price reversalWhile the intense sell-off seen across the broader crypto market is gradually beginning to ease, Hyperliquid's hourly price chart has suddenly flipped into green territory.
However, HYPE has continued to show mixed price action, hovering around $86 as of the time of writing, following a 2.26% decline in its price over the last 24 hours.

The company said its GitBook documentation was restored as of 9:15 a.m. ET, but it has not said what the activity was or whether anything beyond the docs was affected.
Trade.xyz warns users after unauthorized activity on its documentation
Posted November 2, 2026 at 10:56 am ET.
Trade.xyz, the platform behind stock, index and commodity perpetual futures markets on Hyperliquid, told users on Monday to stay away from every link in its documentation after it detected unauthorized activity on the GitBook pages where those docs are hosted.
The company said in an X post, published just before 10 a.m. ET, that it spotted the activity “earlier this morning” and that the documentation “was fully restored to its previous state as of 9:15 AM ET.” It said in the same post that it was “actively reviewing the incident” and would share further updates “as appropriate.”
The warning on links stays in place for now. “As a precaution, we advise users not to click on any links within the documentation while our investigation remains ongoing,” trade.xyz wrote.

What Trade.xyz Has Not Said
The post did not describe what the unauthorized activity was, how it happened, when it began or whether any pages or links were changed. It also did not say whether the trading app, its smart contracts or any user funds were affected.
Why the Docs Matter
For a trading venue, the docs are often where users look up official links, market specifications and setup guides, so unauthorized changes to those pages can put users at risk.
Trade.xyz’s ICE Deal
The incident came four days after a major announcement from the company. On Oct. 29, trade.xyz said that Intercontinental Exchange, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, was making a strategic investment in it and planned to build a U.S. market for 24/7 Hyperliquid perpetual futures with it, subject to approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Billionaire investor Stan Druckenmiller, whom trade.xyz named as another backer, confirmed his stake separately.
Trade.xyz’s existing markets run under Hyperliquid’s HIP-3 framework, and the company in its ICE announcement said that they had passed $650 billion in volume in just over a year. Kraken parent Payward has also proposed a route for U.S. traders to reach Hyperliquid-linked perps.

Entropy listed an AAPL perp with up to 25x leverage on Hyperliquid's HIP-3 framework, priced by RedStone's oracle infrastructure
Apple stock now has another home on Hyperliquid. Entropy, a builder in the HIP-3 ecosystem, has listed an Apple (AAPL) perpetual futures market offering up to 25x leverage.
The timing was hard to miss. The market went live on November 2, 2026, the same day Apple was set to report earnings after the closing bell.
Pricing for the new market comes from RedStone, whose oracle infrastructure feeds real-world asset data into Entropy’s listings.
What Entropy actually launched A perpetual future, or perp, is a derivative that tracks an asset’s price with no expiry date. Think of it as a futures contract that never ends, kept tethered to the real price through periodic payments between long and short traders.
Entropy’s AAPL perp lets traders take positions with up to 25x leverage. That means a trader can control a position 25 times larger than the collateral they post.
Entropy did not get the ticker for free. The builder paid 575.23 HYPE for the AAPL ticker, a sum valued at approximately $51,000.
HYPE is Hyperliquid’s native token.
The oracle question and RedStone’s role Every onchain derivative has the same problem. The blockchain has no idea what Apple shares cost on Nasdaq unless someone tells it.
That messenger is called an oracle. It pulls price data from the outside world and delivers it to smart contracts, which then use it to settle trades and trigger liquidations.
RedStone supplies that service for Entropy’s markets through its proprietary infrastructure. The firm is known for delivering fast, liquidity-weighted price data for real-world assets.
Liquidity-weighted means the feed gives more importance to prices from deeper, more active markets. A thin quote from a sleepy venue counts for less than one from where real size trades.
RedStone has already handled meaningful flow on this front. The oracle provider has powered over $3.4 billion in volume within HIP-3 markets, including Entropy’s earlier launches.
Competition inside the same exchange Entropy is not the first to list Apple on Hyperliquid. A trade.xyz AAPL perp market has been running since early 2026.
That incumbent offers 20x maximum leverage. As of early November 2026, it carried around $75 million in open interest and roughly $9 million in 24-hour trading volume.
Entropy’s pitch, at least on paper, is the higher leverage ceiling: 25x versus 20x.
How HIP-3 makes this possible HIP-3 is a Hyperliquid framework that allows permissionless deployment of perpetual markets. Builders can launch their own markets without waiting for the core team to approve each listing.
Entropy has been one of the more prominent builders using this setup. In August 2026, it rolled out pre-IPO and equity perpetuals that included names like Anthropic and SanDisk.
Entropy arrived with serious backing. It raised $14 million in a round led by Ribbit Capital and secured an additional ~$40 million in HYPE staking before its August 2026 debut.
Ribbit Capital is a fintech-focused venture firm.

PENGU Technical Analysis: Can Pudgy Penguins Reclaim $0.01Could an End to Global Conflicts Boost the Copilot AI PENGU Prediction Odds?Microsoft Copilot AI Predicts Pudgy Penguins: Can PENGU Really Surge 150x Over Q4?
Microsoft Copilot AI predicts an intriguing move regarding Pudgy Penguins (PENGU). This forecast is not a typical bullish outlook; instead, it presents an extreme, highly imaginative scenario based on a hypothetical landmark event. While the outcome isn’t entirely impossible, it remains quite unlikely.
The prediction suggests that Pudgy Penguins could secure a significant multi-year partnership with a major global entertainment and consumer brand conglomerate. This partnership would elevate the Penguins IP to a mainstream cultural franchise.
Such a development might include producing large-scale animated content, launching global retail product lines, and integrating the PENGU token into fan engagement, merchandise, and digital experiences. This transformation would shift the PENGU token from being a crypto-native meme asset to a widely recognized consumer brand token.
PENGU Technical Analysis: Can Pudgy Penguins Reclaim $0.01
On higher timeframes, PENGU has been consolidating in the $0.0069 to $0.0072 range after a prolonged downtrend from earlier peaks. Price continues to hold above recent lows but faces overhead resistance in the $0.008 to $0.009 zone.
In a typical bull market, a sustained breakout above the $0.012 to $0.015 range would indicate intermediate strength and pave the way for higher recovery targets.
If mainstream entertainment and retail franchise adoption become extreme, breaking through key resistance levels could trigger powerful measured-move extensions and multi-cycle Fibonacci projections based on the longer-term foundation.
Currently, momentum indicators are positioned in neutral to oversold territory, leaving substantial room for upward movement into the extreme overbought readings often seen during parabolic advances in meme assets.
Key near-term support levels are around $0.0070 to $0.0072 and $0.0060 to $0.0065. Holding above these levels would help maintain the broader market structure.

Could an End to Global Conflicts Boost the Copilot AI PENGU Prediction Odds?
Several external developments could enhance this optimistic scenario. Globally, a lasting resolution to major geopolitical conflicts, such as the Russia-Ukraine war or a durable ceasefire involving Iran and the normalization of the Strait of Hormuz, could reduce risk premiums and encourage capital to flow back into growth and technology assets.
Economically, if major central banks adopt more accommodative monetary policies while maintaining elevated liquidity, it would promote risk-taking across markets.
In the cryptocurrency space, continued increases in Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF inflows, broader institutional adoption of smart contract platforms, rising volumes in real-world asset tokenization, successful scaling upgrades, and a sustained return of risk appetite for altcoins would create a favorable liquidity environment. This would particularly benefit Ethereum, as it remains the leading programmable blockchain.
Microsoft Copilot AI Predicts Pudgy Penguins: Can PENGU Really Surge 150x Over Q4?
Under this highly speculative scenario, and assuming a full-blown crypto bull market returns, Pudgy Penguins (PENGU) could reach somewhere between $0.45 and $0.85, with a stretch target of $1.50+ by January 1, 2027.
This remains pure speculation and entertainment, not a realistic base-case outlook. The catalyst would require extraordinary mainstream brand and entertainment adoption that is currently highly unlikely.

Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat Global Advisors and chairman of Bitmine, told CNBC that he believes the recent downturn in artificial intelligence-related stocks has likely reached its bottom. Lee argued that while demand for AI remains strong, continued supply constraints have prevented the industry from meeting market needs, creating an environment where the risk of further significant declines is reduced.
Lee’s Take on AI Market DynamicsLee explained that differentiating between industries suffering from oversupply versus those capped by limited capacity is crucial when evaluating risk and potential in AI investments. He underlined that the AI sector is still characterized by tight market conditions, not excess. “The market for AI is still very tight. It’s not an overcapacity market,” Lee commented, noting that while growth is being slowed by spending constraints and political challenges, these factors do not necessarily signal a peak.
He further stated that recognizing the risks at market bottoms can be very challenging, adding, “Bottoms are dangerous because you don’t know how much more downside you have at the bottom.”
Lee cited the situation facing companies that provide the backbone for AI services, including data center operators and chipmakers. These businesses face the paradox of rapidly rising demand while still confronting bottlenecks that prevent them from immediately translating orders into finished products or profits.
Intel’s recent quarterly report showed how these challenges play out. The company’s stock dropped almost 30% to $65.76 following a disappointing fourth-quarter revenue forecast. While Intel’s data center and AI segment reported a 78% increase in year-on-year revenue, bringing in $7.3 billion, continued manufacturing issues limited its ability to fulfill demand effectively. Intel expects quarterly revenue between $15 billion and $16 billion, about $1.6 billion below analysts’ forecasts. A weaker PC division added further pressure, illustrating how strong AI sector demand does not guarantee positive stock performance.
CompanyQ4 Revenue (Forecast)Actual AI/Data Center GrowthStock Price ImpactIntel$15–16 billion+78% ($7.3 billion)-30% to $65.76Crypto as a Risk BarometerLee also turned to the cryptocurrency market for further signals, emphasizing the muted response to a major security incident at Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges. The exchange initially estimated the breach’s impact at approximately $6.3 billion, yet the broader market reaction remained relatively restrained.
Lee assessed that when crypto markets can absorb negative events without triggering a major sell-off, it may indicate that much of the selling pressure has already been exhausted and fewer risk-averse investors remain to push prices lower.
Binance responded by freezing around $3 billion in affected assets and promised to cover losses using both its emergency reserve and company funds.

Bitcoin ETFs Record Major Outflows Post-HackThe repercussions of the Binance hack were strongly felt among U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The funds experienced $643.2 million in net outflows on Friday, marking their largest single-day withdrawal of October.
This outflow followed the start of the security breach after U.S. markets had closed on Thursday. Bitcoin’s price declined about 4%, settling near $76,400, and over $1.3 billion in leveraged positions were liquidated. Observers regarded the move as a modest correction, noting that similar drops are not uncommon even in periods of overall market optimism.

Michaël van de Poppe, a well-known analyst in the cryptocurrency market, has made a statement about Bitcoin.
Analyst Michaël van de Poppe addressed the pullback in Bitcoin in a new analysis published this evening. Poppe stated that he plans to buy at $75,000 if the bullish scenario breaks down.
The analyst cited fear ahead of tomorrow’s US midterm elections as one of the main reasons for the sell-off at the beginning of the week, noting that the cryptocurrency market can react strongly to political expectations.
On the technical side, he said that a correction occurred after the last peak was tested. According to Poppe, the decisive point will be whether the support zone he marked on his chart can be maintained.
He stated that the outlook could strengthen if a higher low forms in this region and the price starts to move upwards again. However, he indicated he was ready to buy at a lower price, pointing to $75,000, should support be lost.
Poppe’s assessment built upon his earlier analysis from the day. In his previous post, he had stated that he was watching to see if the market could form a higher low after testing the previous peak.

Mercado Bitcoin, Brazil's largest cryptocurrency exchange, confirmed Monday that it suffered a security incident involving approximately $46.3 million in assets, according to Arkham data.
"We identified and swiftly contained a security incident in one of our systems early this morning," the exchange said in a post on X. Mercado Bitcoin temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals as a precaution while its teams investigate the incident, track the assets, and coordinate with authorities.
The exchange said the incident did not affect customers or result in a data breach. It also published the destination wallet addresses associated with the transactions to help blockchain security firms and other parties monitor and track the assets.
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino confirmed that the stablecoin issuer had frozen more than 4.5 million USDT linked to the incident.
Meanwhile, Arkham analyst Emmett Gallic said the attacker was sweeping funds from older deposit addresses and selling memecoins and other altcoins.
Mercado Bitcoin's incident comes amid a string of security breaches and exploits across the crypto industry in recent days, following Thursday's $6 billion hack of Binance. That same day, Polymarket was hit by a $2.65 million exploit, in which it said a third-party provider was compromised.
Late Friday evening, blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis said its own customer data was accessed by an AI-assisted hacker. Of note, the firm said the incident was not related to the theft at Binance.
On Saturday, hackers hijacked a dozen DeFi websites registered with Name.com and stole about $138,000. Blockaid said the sites were rigged with a malware kit that tricks visitors into signing away their funds.
Bitcoin’s price dipped over the past week, but the BTC treasury firm Strategy (MSTR) still opted to buy $66 million worth of the top crypto asset.
Strategy says it accumulated 811 Bitcoin at an average purchase price of $80,846 per BTC, stretching its total holdings to 849,327 BTC.
The firm didn’t add or sell any Bitcoin the week before, but it did stack a total of 3,466 BTC worth $292 million across five consecutive weeks stretching from September to October.
The recent purchases follow a summer in which Strategy controversially conducted its first Bitcoin sales since 2022. Those sales materialized under the company’s newly introduced BTC monetization program, designed to bolster Strategy’s cash reserves and support dividend payments.
On Monday, Strategy chairman Michael Saylor also noted the firm repurchased $208 million worth of STRC, the firm’s perpetual preferred stock that pays 12.00% annual dividends. STRC is designed to have a par value of around $100 and is currently trading at $99.28.
Strategy was the first public company to adopt Bitcoin as its sole treasury reserve asset and remains the world’s largest corporate BTC holder by a wide margin.
Bitcoin is trading at $76,751 at time of writing. The top-ranked crypto asset by market cap is down nearly 1.5% in the past 24 hours and nearly 4% in the past week.
AI poses greater threat to Bitcoin than quantum computing, Swan founder saysLatest NewsPublishedNov 2, 2026
The Swan Bitcoin founder warned that hackers are using large language models to exploit security flaws with just a few prompts.
Artificial intelligence poses a more immediate threat to Bitcoin security than quantum computing, according to Swan Bitcoin founder Cory Klippsten, who warned that hackers are increasingly using AI to exploit vulnerabilities as crypto exchanges face a string of security breaches.
Speaking on Cointelegraph’s Chain Reaction, Klippsten dismissed much of the concern surrounding quantum computing as speculative, arguing that advances in large language models present a more pressing challenge as attackers use the technology to probe security weaknesses.
I think we’re finding out that the near term threat is actually AI. That it’s these LLMs in the hands of hackers going and poking through everything. And that’s where you see this over and over and over again. The warning comes as Brazil’s Mercado Bitcoin suspended deposits and withdrawals on Monday following a security incident, with researchers estimating that more than $46 million had left its wallets. Just days earlier, exchange Binance lost $6.3 billion in an Oct. 29 hack that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) attributed to North Korean hackers.
Source: Cointelegraph
Bitcoin has time to address quantum risksKlippsten estimated that quantum computers capable of threatening Bitcoin’s cryptography remain at least a decade away, potentially longer. He argued that the network could adopt quantum-resistant protections if the threat became credible, but said rushing to implement them now would introduce unnecessary complexity.
He warned that cryptocurrency companies cannot rely on hastily developed software when safeguarding customer assets. “You need to actually know what the hell you’re doing from a security standpoint,” he said.
Klippsten also suggested that some cryptocurrency startups and investors had used fears surrounding quantum computing to attract funding, characterizing much of the discussion as fear, uncertainty and doubt (“FUD”) rather than an imminent security concern.

Strive's chief risk officer argues its preferred equity instruments can soak up Bitcoin's downside and dampen future price swings
Bitcoin has never been accused of being boring. Strive thinks it can sell investors a version that comes closer.
Jeff Walton, chief risk officer at Strive Inc. (NASDAQ: ASST), said the company’s credit instruments can absorb Bitcoin’s downside volatility and dampen future price swings.
The pitch arrives as Strive leans into what it calls “digital credit.” These are Bitcoin-backed securities designed to pay steady income while the company’s common stock carries most of the price risk.
How Strive’s digital credit works Strive is a Bitcoin treasury company. It holds Bitcoin on its balance sheet and builds financial products on top of that reserve.
Its newest products are perpetual preferred equity securities called SATA and SATS. Perpetual means they have no maturity date. Preferred means holders get paid before common shareholders do.
According to the research findings, SATA yields approximately 13% and SATS yields approximately 15%. Those payouts are supported by Strive’s Bitcoin holdings as collateral, along with the company’s liquid cash.
Walton indicated that roughly 13% yield goes to preferred equity holders. Meanwhile, Strive’s common equity has historically shown about 2x beta to Bitcoin.
That split is the core of Walton’s argument. The preferred layer gets predictable income, while the common layer absorbs the volatility.
A big raise and a growing Bitcoin pile Strive raised nearly $700 million from an oversubscribed SATS offering, exceeding its $500 million target.
The company sold 7 million shares at $90 each. SATS carries a $15 annual dividend.
As of early-to-mid October 2026, the company held between 32,773 and 36,800 BTC. That total includes a recent purchase of 3,311 BTC for around $280 million.
In an interview on October 21, 2026, Walton described the potential for these Bitcoin-backed securities to unlock up to $1 trillion in institutional capital. He made that case even as spreads in credit markets were widening.
The broader strategy has been discussed as a potential $200 billion to trillion-dollar opportunity for bringing Bitcoin into traditional credit markets.
Why rated credit is the real prize Walton emphasized the importance of moving these securities into rated credit markets.
Many large institutions can only buy securities that carry a credit rating. Pension funds, insurers and similar investors often operate under rules that keep unrated products off the menu entirely.
The appeal of the yields is obvious. Payouts of approximately 13% and 15% stand well above what traditional fixed-income investments typically offer, according to the research findings.
Strive’s case rests on transparency. Its Bitcoin reserves are observable, and the company holds liquid cash to support the securities.
What this means for investors and the market For income-focused investors, Strive is offering exposure to Bitcoin’s balance sheet without riding Bitcoin’s full price swings. The trade-off is that preferred holders give up the upside that common shareholders keep.
For common shareholders, with roughly 2x beta to Bitcoin, the common stock is effectively the shock absorber.
Walton’s claim that these instruments can dampen future price swings is worth reading carefully. The volatility does not vanish. It gets reallocated, moved away from the preferred layer and concentrated in the common equity.
The things to watch are fairly concrete. Does Strive secure a credit rating for SATA or SATS? Does demand stay strong in future offerings? And how do the preferred securities trade during the next sharp Bitcoin sell-off?

In brief
Strive bought 124 BTC for about $10 million between Oct. 24 and Oct. 30 at an average of $80,526 each, bringing its total to 43,124 BTC.
The purchase leaves Strive fourth among public companies, 390 BTC behind Twenty One Capital and 876 BTC behind Metaplanet, per Bitcoin Treasuries.
Most of the buy came from existing cash, and Strive tapped its new SATS preferred stock program for the first time.
Strive, the Dallas-based company co-founded by Vivek Ramaswamy, now holds 43,124 Bitcoin after buying 124 BTC more last week. That stash is now worth roughly $3.3 billion, and good for about 0.2% of the 21 million coins that will ever exist.
That leaves it fourth among publicly traded companies, 390 coins behind Twenty One Capital (which holds 43,514 BTC) and 876 BTC behind Metaplanet (which holds 44,000 BTC), according to Bitcoin Treasuries data.
At Bitcoin’s price of about $77,000, those gaps are worth roughly $30 million and $67 million, respectively.

Strive is a Bitcoin treasury company—a publicly listed firm that keeps Bitcoin on its balance sheet, so anyone with a brokerage account can get exposure by buying its stock. Michael Saylor’s Strategy popularized the playbook back in 2020, and several other companies followed suit, including Strive.
Its coins cost an average of $87,785 each, or $3.8 billion in total, against a market value of $3.5 billion on Oct. 23, per its prospectus. Bitcoin has slipped since, so the pile is now worth a bit less than Strive paid for it.
The latest purchase covers Oct. 24 through Oct. 30 and was disclosed today in an SEC filing, the report US-listed companies must submit when something material happens. Strive paid about $10 million, an average of $80,526 per Bitcoin including fees, CEO Matt Cole said on X.

Most of the money came from existing cash, which fell from $504.4 million to $490.4 million over the week. Strive also raised money for the first time by selling shares of a new security called SATS on the open market, Cole said, and that made up all of the week’s fundraising. It still holds 505,000 shares of Strategy’s preferred stock, known as STRC, worth about $50 million.
SATS is a preferred stock—a type of share that pays a fixed dividend before common shareholders see anything. Strive sold 7 million of them at $90 each in an October offering that raised about $630 million, and they carry a 15% annual dividend on a $100 stated value, paid every business day from Nov. 9.
On Oct. 26, Strive opened an at-the-market program—a way to sell new shares in small batches at the going price—for up to $1 billion more SATS. The prospectus says Strive expects to pay the dividends mainly by raising more capital, including selling more shares. The company has set aside 18 months of dividends in a reserve and reported no debt as of Oct. 23.
Strive’s amplification ratio, the preferred stock and debt it carries measured against the value of its Bitcoin, stood at 62.7%, or about $62.70 of obligations for every $100 of Bitcoin.
The company’s CEO has said ending 2026 as the second-largest public Bitcoin holder is possible. “I wouldn’t say that’s my base case,” Cole said on the One Chair podcast in September, “but I would say it’s in the possible set of cards.”
Saylor’s Strategy holds 849,327 Bitcoin, nearly 20 times Strive’s pile.
Twenty One Capital still holds the same 43,514 Bitcoin it had when co-founder Jack Mallers stepped down as CEO in July. His exit came as a plan by Tether to merge three Bitcoin businesses collapsed. The stock had fallen more than 80% from its highs, and his successor, Raphael Zagury, has said Twenty One should be judged on cash flow and capital discipline.
Metaplanet, a Tokyo-listed company that pivoted from hotels to Bitcoin in 2024, holds 44,000 Bitcoin after overtaking mining firm MARA in April. It has a stated goal of 100,000 by the end of 2026.
At last week’s pace of 124 Bitcoin, Strive would pass Twenty One in four weeks and Metaplanet in eight, assuming neither company buys more.

3 November 2026 | 00:16 Treasury’s cash plan implies about $166 billion leaving its Fed account before year-end and $150 billion returning by March, while the buffer that once absorbed such swings is nearly empty.
Key Takeaways Q1 2027 borrowing estimate: $800B, including $150B rebuild. TGA stood at $1,016 billion on October 28. Reserves fell $74B as TGA rose $70B. Refunding details due November 4, 13:30 UTC. In its November 2 borrowing estimates, the U.S. Treasury put privately held net marketable borrowing at $618 billion for October–December 2026 and $800 billion for January–March 2027.
Six Months of Borrowing, Almost No Net Change in Cash The fourth-quarter figure is $10 billion below Treasury’s August estimate, but only because October began with $34 billion more cash than assumed: $984 billion against $950 billion. Once that head start is removed, Treasury says the underlying requirement is $24 billion higher, mainly because it now expects weaker net cash flows.
The cash targets say more than the borrowing totals. Treasury aims to hold $850 billion at the end of December and $1 trillion at the end of March, so the first-quarter estimate already contains a $150 billion rebuild of its balance. For scale, Treasury borrowed $577 billion in the same quarter of 2026.
Set the March target beside September’s closing balance and the account ends the six months just $16 billion higher. Over the full period, Treasury is not draining liquidity. It is moving cash out of its account first and pulling it back later, so the question for funding markets is timing: how much still has to leave, and what absorbs the money when it returns.
Most of the Year-End Drawdown Is Still Ahead The quarter’s endpoints suggest a $134 billion decline, from $984 billion to $850 billion. The account took a different route. The Fed’s weekly balance-sheet release showed the Treasury General Account (TGA), the government’s account at the Fed, at $1,016 billion on October 28, higher than where the quarter started. Treasury’s August refunding statement had anticipated a late-October peak of about $1.05 trillion, give or take $50 billion, to cover large payments due around that time.
Measured from that reading, reaching the year-end target means roughly $166 billion more leaving the account, about $32 billion more than the quarterly endpoints imply. That figure is a gap between one Wednesday’s balance and a target, not a payment schedule. Early-month benefit payments pull the balance down, while mid-December corporate tax receipts push it back up.
Where that money lands is the reason to track it. When Treasury pays a contractor or a retiree, the cash leaves the TGA and arrives at the recipient’s bank as reserves, the balances banks hold at the Fed. Tax receipts and debt sales move it the other way. The week to October 28 showed that reverse flow almost dollar for dollar: the TGA rose $70 billion and bank reserves fell $74 billion.
The Buffers That Once Softened TGA Swings Are Gone A Federal Reserve staff note sets out four items on the Fed’s balance sheet that can give way when the TGA moves: bank reserves, the overnight reverse repo (ON RRP) facility where money funds park cash, the Fed’s own securities holdings, and Fed lending. When ON RRP balances were large, the note explains, that facility acted as the shock absorber that kept reserves steady.

With the reverse-repo balance close to zero, money funds have almost no idle cash to move into new Treasury bills. A bill-heavy rebuild in the first quarter would therefore draw on cash that currently funds repo lending and, behind it, bank reserves. The Fed’s research on repo markets describes both channels.
The Fed’s securities lever is switched off for now. The New York Fed’s purchase schedule shows reserve-management purchases running at $40 billion a month from December 2025, cut to $25 billion in April and $10 billion in May, and halted since mid-August. Reinvesting maturing mortgage-bond principal into bills, which the Desk continues to do, keeps the portfolio flat rather than adding reserves. The Standing Repo Facility lends cash against Treasuries at a preset rate, so firms turn to it mainly when private repo rates climb toward that level.
The same Fed note recalls September 2019, when a rise in the TGA after a period of balance-sheet runoff, among other factors, left reserves scarce and disrupted repo markets until the Fed stepped in with open market operations. Conditions today differ, but a first-quarter rebuild would run through the same mechanism.
Why the Squeeze Case May Be Overstated The strongest objection is scale. A drawdown of $166 billion equals less than 6% of the reserves banks held on October 28, and reserves were about $67 billion higher than a year earlier. Over that year the Fed also added roughly $376 billion of Treasury bills to its portfolio through reserve-management purchases and reinvested mortgage-bond principal, so the system enters the rebuild with a cushion it lacked before the program began.
Funding markets have stayed calm so far. The Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR), the benchmark for overnight Treasury repo, held between 3.93% and 3.95% in the last week of October, according to St. Louis Fed data. The year-end leg also runs in the supportive direction, since cash leaving the TGA adds to reserves. And the New York Fed states that its purchase amounts are not on a preset course, which leaves room to restart them before March.
Treasury’s expanded long-bond buybacks do not change this arithmetic, because replacement issuance finances them and net borrowing stays largely the same.
What Would Confirm a Supportive Backdrop for Bitcoin Treasury cash flows reach Bitcoin, if at all, through funding conditions. Cheaper and steadier overnight money lowers the cost of carrying leveraged positions across markets, crypto included, and tighter money raises it. Rising reserves do not show anyone buying Bitcoin, so each funding signal needs a crypto-specific counterpart.
Wednesday’s refunding announcement comes first. A larger share of bills would push more of the first-quarter rebuild onto money funds and, through them, onto repo. Heavier coupon issuance would instead add to dealers’ financing needs.
Around November 13, the New York Fed publishes its next monthly purchase schedule. Restarting reserve-management purchases would directly offset part of the March rebuild. Another zero would leave reserves to absorb it alone.
Through December, the Thursday H.4.1 releases would show reserves rising as the TGA falls toward $850 billion if the drawdown is reaching banks. Flat or falling reserves during the drawdown, or SOFR pressing higher around the November and December month-ends, would mean the cash is not easing funding conditions.
On the crypto side, the test is several consecutive weeks of net inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs during the drawdown window. Easier funding without those inflows would suggest the liquidity is going elsewhere.
The rebuild starts in January. If the Fed’s schedule still shows no reserve-management buying by then, the $150 billion Treasury plans to pull back by March would come almost entirely out of bank reserves.

Bitcoin slipped below its 50-day moving average, as renewed selling pressure and significant spot ETF outflows fueled market uncertainty. At last check, Bitcoin changed hands at $77,423.87, reflecting a drop of 1.19%, while attention has turned to the $77,000 support zone amid bearish sentiment and persistent outflows from institutional products.
ETF outflows mount as selling continuesRecent data from Lookonchain shows that spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced $614.26 million in daily net outflows, equivalent to 7,919 BTC, on November 2. The latest weekly figure stands at 2,292 BTC withdrawn, or about $177.81 million. These outflows suggest sustained pressure on institutional demand for Bitcoin exposure via regulated products.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs have served as a regulated gateway for large investors, but persistent withdrawals may signal diminished appetite among these players. Negative net flows do not, on their own, predict price direction, but current trends may undermine confidence in a short-term price rebound.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of $614.26 million in a single day, with weekly outflows totaling $177.81 million, equal to 2,292 BTC withdrawn from institutional funds.
Alongside Bitcoin, Lookonchain also reported that spot Ethereum ETFs recorded one-day net outflows of 44,837 ETH, valued at $102.12 million, and weekly net outflows of 147,585 ETH or about $336.15 million. Weak flows across leading cryptocurrencies highlight a broader risk-off mood among institutional holders.
Technical outlook grows cautiousOn the daily chart from TradingView, Bitcoin trades below its 50-day moving average of $81,993.42, yet remains above the 200-day moving average at $73,208.15. This positioning signals short-term technical weakness but leaves open the possibility for support at longer-term averages.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) measures at 36.52, falling below its moving average of 43.11, a sign of ongoing bearish momentum. However, as the RSI remains above the oversold threshold of 30, some analysts suggest this leaves potential room for further downside or a possible relief bounce.
According to CoinGlass, Bitcoin open interest fell to nearly $53 billion at October’s end, down sharply from more than $60 billion just a month earlier. This reduction reflects fewer outstanding derivatives positions and may indicate declining trader participation or the unwinding of leveraged bets in the market.
Falling open interest combined with price retreats often point to a risk-off phase, but without details on liquidations and funding rates, it is unclear whether recent declines were driven mainly by long-position closures.
Key levels and trader focusShort-term, Bitcoin faces resistance at the 50-day moving average near $81,993.42 and further at $83,370.15. Sustained trading below these marks adds to the cautious tone, while a decisive break under $77,000 could put the $75,000 psychological level in play.
If ETF outflows slow and Bitcoin recovers its short-term moving averages, sentiment could improve moderately. Until then, near-term outlooks remain guarded, with market participants closely monitoring chart signals and institutional flows for clues about the next direction.
With ETF outflows and key technical levels in focus, many traders need tools to track price breaks and fund movements in real time. CryptoAppsy enables users to set price alerts for critical levels, such as the $77,000 support or the 50-day average, so they can react to sharp shifts as soon as they occur. These features help monitor institutional flows and sudden market turns, which are especially important for managing risk in volatile conditions like those currently faced by Bitcoin.

Binance has published its latest Proof of Reserves report as of October 31, 2026. Judging by it, client funds are still fully backed — despite the largest hack in crypto history at the end of the month. Coverage for XRP is 100.99%, and for the Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin, 100.83%.
A comparison of balances as of October 1 and October 31 shows how the exchange's liabilities and reserves changed after the October 29 attack: hackers then withdrew about $6.3 billion from its wallets across ten blockchains.

About $3 billion of the stolen funds was quickly frozen directly on the blockchains with the help of partners, including Tether, Circle and Ripple. To cover the losses and return reserves to 1:1, Binance allocated more than $6.34 billion of its own capital.
