NextEra Signed 16.5 Gigawatts of Federal Power Hubs. Here's How It's Funding These Projects.
NEE NextEra Energy
FMP Stock News
Original source text
For two decades, the demand for power grew modestly and steadily. However, the artificial intelligence (AI) boom and data center build-out are completely rewriting the narrative around energy policy. Computing power has increased drastically, and as more organizations adopt AI, demand for power will only grow.

Hyperscale AI data centers require massive amounts of reliable, baseload power. During its third-quarter earnings call, NextEra Energy (NEE +1.91%) outlined plans for three federal hub projects totaling 16.5 gigawatts (GW).

Best of all, NextEra doesn't have to foot the bill for these expansion projects. Here's how it funds these projects and how they fit into NextEra's overall business.

These power hubs address the growing energy demands of data centers Data centers need power, a lot of it, and they need it fast. As a result, regulated utilities, independent power producers, and power manufacturers must bring more capacity online.

On Oct. 21, NextEra Energy laid out plans for power hubs totaling 16.5 GW of capacity, enough to power nearly 12 million homes. Two hubs will be located in Texas, with another one in Pennsylvania -- two regions that are seeing incredibly strong demand for power from data centers.

One Texas hub is configured to serve a 5-GW data center campus slated to open in 2029, while the other will deliver 5 GW of large-load capacity. The Pennsylvania hub will help address growing demand in the PJM region, home to "data center alley," and is expected to come online in 2032.

Here's how the deal is funded and how NextEra benefits Under the deal, NextEra Energy isn't putting down any capital, funding construction through its own capital, or putting any generation assets on its balance sheet. Instead, the company has secured $5.7 billion in funding to date from partners, including the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and other third parties.

NextEra will act as a developer, builder, and operator of these power hubs under a long-term fee model. As part of this, NextEra will operate the hubs for 20 years and earn fees. According to management, these fee streams will generate about 50% of the adjusted EPS (earnings per share) that NextEra would have earned if it owned the power assets outright.

NEE NextEra Energy$83.71+$1.57 (+1.91%)

NYSE · As of 4:00 PM ET 10/30/26

A low-risk path for NextEra to capitalize on growing energy demands These power hubs meet data centers' growing energy needs while ensuring residential customers don't foot the bill for these expansions. It also keeps NextEra Energy from having to fund the expansion by issuing debt or equity, giving the company an "asset-light" way to expand its power-generation capacity.

NextEra can co-locate up to 11 GW of battery storage near these hubs, giving it greater flexibility to scale if it chooses. For NextEra Energy investors, the agreement is unlikely to contribute materially to earnings until the hubs enter service in the 2030s. Still, it highlights how much electricity data centers will need and why energy infrastructure is becoming increasingly central to the AI story.

Figma vs. Fastly: Which Cloud Tech Stock Is a Better Buy in 2026?
FSLY Fastly
FMP Stock News
Original source text
As digital infrastructure needs grow, investors must decide between high-growth creative tools and the edge networks that deliver them. Choosing between Figma Inc. (FIG -3.00%) and Fastly Inc. (FSLY -9.85%) requires evaluating their distinct paths.

Figma provides a collaborative workspace for design and development teams to build digital products and experiences. Fastly operates an edge cloud platform that secures and accelerates web traffic for major global enterprises. Both are vital to the modern internet, but they offer distinct financial profiles and risk levels for investors in 2026.

The case for Figma Inc.Figma is a prominent player among tech stocks, selling a collaborative design platform to design and development teams. In March 2025, the company shifted its business model by introducing administrator-led seat management to better serve enterprise deployments. It also launched AI credits for its seats, with plans to begin enforcing limits and offering paid AI subscriptions in early 2026.

In FY 2025, as reported in its latest annual report filed for that period, revenue reached about $1.1 billion, representing a growth rate of approximately 41% over the previous year. The company reported a net loss of roughly $1.3 billion for the same fiscal period. This performance resulted in a negative net margin of approximately 118%, which measures how much of each dollar of revenue remains after all expenses are paid.

As of its December 2025 balance sheet, the current ratio is roughly 2.6x, representing the company's ability to pay short-term debts with its short-term assets. The debt-to-equity ratio is approximately 0.1x, which compares total debt to shareholder equity. Note that stock-based compensation represented roughly 544% of operating cash flow, meaning reported cash generation is heavily inflated by this non-cash add-back.

The case for Fastly Inc.Fastly provides an edge cloud platform that helps developers secure and deliver websites closer to their end users. It relies on a concentrated group of enterprise customers, including Comcast Corp. (CMCSA +4.27%) and ByteDance, with its ten largest clients accounting for roughly 32% of revenue in 2025. The company also recently expanded its partnership with Jio Platforms Limited to boost content delivery services in India.

In FY 2025, revenue reached around $624.0 million, an increase of roughly 14.8% compared to the prior year. The company recorded a net loss of about $121.7 million, which is a narrower loss than it reported in 2024. This resulted in a negative net margin of approximately 19.5% for the fiscal year.

As of its December 2025 balance sheet, the current ratio is roughly 2.6x, indicating the company can cover its short-term liabilities with short-term assets. The debt-to-equity ratio is approximately 0.5x, calculated by dividing the company’s total debt by its shareholders’ equity. Note that stock-based compensation represented roughly 124.2% of operating cash flow, meaning reported cash generation is heavily inflated by this non-cash add-back.

Risk profile comparisonFigma faces intense competition from companies offering end-to-end design platforms and AI-driven solutions like Adobe Inc. (ADBE +0.85%). Its integration of AI technology carries risks of infrastructure cost pressures and the potential for generating biased or infringing outputs. Additionally, its reliance on Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN -1.41%) for platform hosting and the uncertainty of managing rapid growth after its terminated merger are significant threats.

Fastly faces intense competition in the edge computing market from major cloud providers like Amazon, Microsoft Corp. (MSFT -1.55%), and Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL -1.40%). Operational risks are elevated due to its heavy reliance on third-party bandwidth providers and potential server capacity forecasting errors. The company is also navigating a federal securities fraud class action lawsuit filed in 2024.

Valuation comparisonFastly carries a lower Forward P/E and P/S ratio than Figma, suggesting it is the more conservatively valued option. The Forward P/E compares current stock price to future earnings estimates, while the P/S ratio measures market value relative to sales over the past twelve months.

MetricFigmaFastlyForward P/E80.4x45.7xP/S ratio8.7x5.6xValuation metrics include those sourced from Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) and may differ from those of other data providers.

Fastly processes over 5 trillion requests a day, a huge number that is actually just a small part of the total addressable market (TAM) for the business. Management sees the TAM as $22 billion, giving it a long runway for growth. The company has posted three straight quarters of more than 20% growth (year-over-year).

One of the company’s competitive edges, it says, is that it delivers its resources dynamically, allocating them in real time to whatever the load is on a global basis. So, for example, one Thursday night, its network might be delivering Thursday Night Football. On Black Friday, the exact same network is handling e-commerce. The next week, it might be handling a video game release. Fastly says that makes it a much more efficient network than competitors, who have siloed networks for security, compute, and delivery, et cetera.

For the current fiscal year, look for sales to grow to $741 million, a 19% rise over the prior year, with a much narrower net loss of about $72 million.

Figma, meanwhile, has seen its user experience design solution become the industry standard for digital asset and mobile application development. The company uses this niche dominance to introduce additional modules, helping transform it from a single-point solution into a full design platform.

One differentiator from competitors is that Figma has done an excellent job not only presenting itself to developers, but to marketers and product managers who have to collaborate on designs. That gives the company more champions in an organization for its products.

For the current fiscal year, revenue should grow quickly, at about a 39% rate, to $1.47 billion. Look for a dramatic slashing of its net loss, from nearly $1.3 billion to about $560 million. Wall Street still sees similarly sized losses ahead for the foreseeable future, however.

So which cloud tech stock is the better buy? Keep the decision simple by purchasing growth stocks at more reasonable prices. In this case, it is Fastly, which has the lower forward P/E and P/S ratios of the pair.

What Federal Realty Investment Trust (FRT) Said on Its Q3 Earnings Call
FRT Federal Realty Investment Trust
FMP Stock News
Original source text
5 Dividend Kings Stocks to Load Up on NowFederal Realty Investment Trust NYSE: FRT reported third-quarter funds from operations of $1.87 per share, up nearly 6% from the prior-year quarter and above the upper end of its guidance range, as leasing activity, occupancy and comparable-property income remained strong.

Chief Executive Officer Don Wood said the company produced “solid operating results top to bottom,” citing 4% same-store cash net operating income growth, higher occupancy and continued leasing demand. The company raised and tightened its full-year outlook, projecting Nareit and core FFO of $7.54 to $7.58 per share for 2026.

Leasing, Occupancy and Consumer Demand
It's a Good Time To Buy High-Yield Dogs of the Dividend KingsFederal Realty completed 117 comparable leases during the quarter, generating a 14% cash rent spread and $2.6 million of incremental revenue, according to Eastern Region President and Chief Operating Officer Wendy Seher. The portfolio lease rate reached 96.5%, up 40 basis points from the prior quarter, while small-shop occupancy rose 20 basis points to 94.1%.

Physical occupancy stood at 93.8%, leaving a 270-basis-point gap between leased and occupied space. Seher said signed but not yet occupied leases represent built-in growth as tenants open and begin paying rent. The company expects its overall occupied rate to rise into the mid-94% range by the end of 2026.

Dividend Kings With the Highest Yield: 6 High Yields in 5 MinutesChief Financial Officer Dan Guglielmone said approximately 30% of the company’s signed-not-occupied pipeline is expected to commence in the fourth quarter, about 50% in 2027 and the remainder in 2028. The total pipeline, including leases not yet delivered, represents approximately $42 million.

Seher said the leasing pipeline includes more than 130 deals covering roughly 1.3 million square feet, with expected double-digit rollover spreads. Management also pointed to consumer traffic growth of 3% year over year across its properties. Seher said median household income in the company’s submarkets is nearly 50% above the U.S. median, supporting consumer spending despite higher fuel costs and inflation.

The Summit Expands Central Region Portfolio
A central focus of the call was Federal Realty’s October 1 acquisition of The Summit in Birmingham, Alabama. The company invested $508 million in the 870,000-square-foot, 100-acre retail property, which Wood described as a “generational” asset and the first time the center had changed hands.

The company said the acquisition was contracted in the low 6% range and carries a 6.9% GAAP yield. Management projects net operating income growth of more than 5% annually over the next five years, supported by tenant sales, occupancy costs and leasing mark-to-market potential.

Seher said about 30% of The Summit’s leases will roll over during the next five years, creating an opportunity for mid- to high-teen leasing spreads. During underwriting, Federal Realty contacted 40 retailers that expressed interest in the property. Since closing, another 35 retailers have contacted the company about potential space, she said.

Retailers that have recently opened or are expected to open at The Summit include Brandy Melville, Reformation, LoveShackFancy, Garage, Boden, Free People and L.L.Bean. Management said retailer interest spans apparel, food, services, grocery, health and fitness categories.

The acquisition expands the company’s central-region portfolio, which includes assets in Chicago, Kansas City, Omaha and Birmingham. Wood said those properties now total nearly 2.7 million square feet and average 4.7 million annual visits per center. Leawood, Kansas, and Omaha have seen foot traffic rise 8% year to date, he said.

Federal Realty also increased its projected five-year compound annual growth rate for Leawood to more than 5%, up 50 basis points from underwriting, and for Omaha to more than 6%, up roughly 200 basis points.

Financial Results and Updated Outlook
Guglielmone said third-quarter FFO outperformance included $0.02 per share from higher rental income and recoveries, $0.01 from parking revenue and other incremental income initiatives, and $0.01 from timing. Those benefits were partly offset by a $0.01 per-share write-off of straight-line rent.

Adjusted comparable property operating income, the company’s cash-basis comparable metric, grew 4% in the quarter and 4.5% excluding termination fees. The year-to-date figure was 4.4%. GAAP comparable growth was 2.5% in the third quarter, modestly ahead of the company’s low-2% expectation.

Federal Realty raised its adjusted comparable growth outlook by 25 basis points to a range of 4.375% to 4.625%, while maintaining the midpoint of its GAAP comparable growth forecast at 3.5%. It expects fourth-quarter FFO of $1.92 to $1.96 per share.

The company’s office portfolio was 99% leased, with management citing mark-to-market opportunities at CocoWalk and Santana Row. Its residential portfolio generated approximately 3.5% year-over-year property operating income growth during the third quarter.

Capital Allocation, Liquidity and Dispositions
Federal Realty issued $460 million of 3.5% exchangeable notes maturing in 2031 during the quarter, with a GAAP interest cost of 4%. At quarter-end, liquidity exceeded $1.5 billion, including a fully available $1.4 billion revolving credit facility and more than $100 million of cash.

The company also repurchased nearly 870,000 shares during September and October for approximately $95 million, at an average price below $109 per share. Wood said the repurchases were not part of the original annual guidance and reflected management’s view that the shares offered an attractive return relative to other capital-allocation options.

Federal Realty has more than $600 million of asset sales in process, with targeted pricing in the mid- to upper-5% range. Guglielmone said most of those transactions are not expected to close until 2027 and that no residential properties are included in the current disposition pool.

The company’s next debt maturity is not until mid-2027. Management said it expects to address roughly $680 million of 2027 maturities through the unsecured bond market, likely extending duration toward seven to 10 years.

$1,000 in UPS Stock 10 Years Ago: Did the Dividends Offset the Decline?
UPS UPS
FMP Stock News
Original source text
UPS rode a pandemic surge to all-time highs, then spent years in freefall while its biggest rival kept stealing volume. Whether a decade of generous dividends was enough to make loyal shareholders whole depends on one uncomfortable number.

From Pandemic Darling to Deliberate Downsizer Ten years ago, United Parcel Service (NYSE:UPS | UPS Price Prediction) was a steady dividend payer trading at $107.76. Then the pandemic turned living rooms into loading docks. Parcel demand surged, pricing firmed, and the stock closed October 2021 at $213.47 before reaching $233.72 in February 2022.

The hangover lasted years. Volumes normalized, a 2023 Teamsters contract raised labor costs, and management chose to shrink its biggest customer by shedding low-margin Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) volume. In 2025, UPS cut about 48,000 positions and closed 93 facilities while chasing premium shipments.

Your $1,000 Became $1,485, and Dividends Did the Heavy Lifting UPS figures include reinvested dividends. S&P 500 figures reflect SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSEARCA:SPY) price change only.

1-Year Return

Initial Investment: $1,000 Current Value: $1,187.50 Total Return: 18.75% S&P 500 (same period): $1,103.60 (10.36%) 5-Year Return

Initial Investment: $1,000 Current Value: $643.40 Total Return: -35.66% Annualized Return: -8.44% S&P 500 (same period): $1,651.90 (65.19%) 10-Year Return

Initial Investment: $1,000 Current Value: $1,485.30 Total Return: 48.53% Annualized Return: 4.04% S&P 500 (same period): $3,569.10 (256.91%) The share price sits almost exactly where it started a decade ago. Your $1,000 bought about 9.28 shares, now worth $1,006.50. Nearly all the gain came from the payout, which rose from $0.78 to $1.64 a quarter and delivered $466.41 in cash.

Timing decided everything. An October 2021 buyer holds shares worth $508.08 plus $147.94 in dividends. Today’s price remains 53.59% below the 2022 high, so a strong past year only partially repairs the damage.

A Retirement Income Play That Hinges on 2027 The bull case for UPS today rests on the premium pivot continuing to compound. Q3 adjusted EPS of $1.69 marked a fourth consecutive beat, management raised 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to about $7.28, and the stock trades near 13 times forward earnings with a 6.21% yield. Healthcare revenue topped $3 billion for a third straight quarter, and the CFO expects free cash flow to improve in 2027 once Driver Choice buyout spending ends.

Investors who need a growing dividend face a tougher case. Planned 2026 dividend payments of about $5.4 billion sit against expected free cash flow of roughly $6.1 billion, leaving little room for raises. U.S. volume fell 3.3% last quarter, Supply Chain Solutions operating profit dropped 48.9%, and the Teamsters contract expires August 1, 2028.

For retirees, the next decade depends on margin gains outrunning shrinking volume. The income case remains intact, though the payout has held at $1.64 since early 2025 and the share price could stay flat again.

KHC Kraft Heinz
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Kraft Heinz: Maintaining a Mostly Flat Revenue TrendKraft Heinz Inc. (KHC +1.84%) generates its revenue by manufacturing and distributing a broad spectrum of grocery staples, including condiments, cheeses, prepared meals, and packaged beverages, to retail markets, wholesale providers, and institutional foodservice clients across various international markets.

It recently transitioned its primary corporate stock listing to the New York Stock Exchange, while also partnering with other consumer brands to launch several flavor collaborations and a new ready-to-eat soup collection.

PepsiCo: Seasonal Revenue Reaches Consistently Higher PeaksPepsiCo (PEP +2.65%) earns its revenue through a global distribution network that actively supplies wholesale partners, convenience stores, grocery chains, and direct consumers with a broad catalog of snack foods, pantry staples, and branded beverage concentrates.

It recently finalized an eleven-year beverage partnership extension with Taco Bell for the United States market, and it simultaneously executed a series of bottling facility closures across multiple states.

Why Revenue Matters for InvestorsRevenue here refers to the data provider's standardized income-statement revenue line item, serving as a fundamental and baseline measurement for financial analysis because it reveals exactly how much total money a business brings in before accounting for any operational expenses, debt obligations, or taxes.

Kraft Heinz vs. PepsiCo Revenue over the last 8 quarters. Note: for Q4 2025, the two companies' reporting periods differ in length by more than 14 days due to differing fiscal calendars, which can make the change between quarters look bigger or smaller than an apples-to-apples comparison would show.

For most stocks, compare revenue year over year, by quarter. In normal times, that holds true for consumer staples stocks like these as well, given that most products from both companies aren’t staples in the true sense—people will buy more soda and snacks, such as PepsiCo’s Funyuns, at different times of the year.

That said, this chart shows two diverging trends. PepsiCo is growing revenue over time. There is year-over-year seasonality as you read the chart left to right for PepsiCo, but there is growth when comparing the same quarters of the fiscal years.

By comparison, Kraft Heinz is showing a lack of sales momentum. Compare the most recent bar for the company in the chart, for Q1 2026, to Q1 2025—revenue is level. That’s stagnation.

Revenue is perhaps the simplest metric investors have to judge a business by. As the chart shows, look for rising revenue, especially over similar periods of each year, and take comparable quarter stagnation, or worse, declines, as a red flag.

PLTR’s Lesser Chance of Q3 Earnings BeatOur proven model doesn’t conclusively predict an earnings beat for PLTR this time around. The combination of a positive Earnings ESP and a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), 2 (Buy), or 3 (Hold) increases the odds of an earnings beat. But that’s not the case here. You can uncover the best stocks to buy or sell before they're reported with our Earnings ESP Filter.

PLTR has an Earnings ESP of -2.44% and a Zacks Rank #3.

PLTR’s All-Round Healthy Business Should be the Driver in Q3We expect a significant year-over-year improvement in the company’s top line in the to-be-reported quarter, driven by healthy business from existing and new customers, strengthening both the Government and Commercial segments.

The consensus estimate for Government revenues stands at $1.04 billion, indicating 63.9% year-over-year growth. The consensus estimate for Commercial revenues is pegged at $892.1 million, suggesting more than 100% year-over-year growth.

PLTR Stock is Experiencing a RallyPalantir shares have gained 60% over the past three months and 36% over the past six months. This performance clearly indicates ongoing strength in the stock.

Based on the trailing 12-month EV-to-EBITDA, PLTR is currently trading at 217.71X, way above the industry’s 12.13X. If we look at the forward 12-month Price/Earnings ratio, the company’s shares are currently trading at 89.01X forward earnings, well above the industry’s 28.30X.

PLTR Stock: Hold Before Q3 EarningsPalantir's robust AI-driven demand, expanding customer base and strong momentum across Government and Commercial businesses support its long-term growth prospects. However, the stock's impressive rally and substantial valuation premium over the industry suggest that much of the anticipated growth is already priced in. Moreover, downward earnings estimate revisions and an unfavorable Earnings ESP raise concerns about a potential earnings disappointment. While Palantir's solid fundamentals and expanding market opportunities warrant optimism, its stretched valuation leaves limited room for execution setbacks. Investors should therefore maintain their existing positions and avoid aggressive buying ahead of earnings, making PLTR a prudent hold for now.

Peer ViewMicrosoft (MSFT - Free Report) remains one of the most important comparisons because of its expanding enterprise AI ecosystem and deep integration of AI tools into corporate software environments. Microsoft benefits from enormous distribution through Azure and its productivity applications. Still, Palantir differentiates itself by focusing heavily on linking AI directly with operational data and workflows. Microsoft remains a formidable competitor, but Palantir’s specialized architecture could sustain demand in complex deployments where governance, integration and execution are critical.

Oracle (ORCL - Free Report) is another relevant enterprise technology peer due to its extensive database, cloud infrastructure and business-application footprint. Oracle continues to expand its AI capabilities across enterprise systems, giving customers another pathway for integrating AI with critical corporate data. However, Palantir’s emphasis on building operational digital environments across disparate systems provides a different value proposition. Oracle has considerable scale, while Palantir is increasingly positioning itself as a specialized operating layer for AI-enabled decision-making.

Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR - Free Report) is scheduled to report its third-quarter 2026 results on Nov. 2, after the bell.

We expect a significant year-over-year improvement in the company’s top line in the to-be-reported quarter, driven by healthy business from both existing and new customers, strengthening both the Government and Commercial segments. The consensus estimate for total revenues stands at $2.17 billion, indicating 83.9% year-over-year growth.

According to the consensus estimate, government revenues are projected to be $1.04 billion, suggesting 63.9% year-over-year growth. The consensus estimate for Commercial revenues is pegged at $1.1 billion, suggesting more than 100% year-over-year growth. Revenues are likely to have benefited from increased adoption of products and services by new and existing customers.

Palantir’s growth story rests on more than rapid AI-related revenue growth. The company is becoming deeply embedded within critical customer operations, while expanding deployments suggest rising platform value after initial adoption. Its ability to connect artificial intelligence with governed enterprise workflows creates meaningful differentiation and potentially high switching costs. Improving deployment efficiency could broaden customer adoption, while government and commercial momentum provide multiple growth avenues.

How Do Industry Peers Compare?Snowflake (SNOW - Free Report) and C3.ai (AI - Free Report) are two U.S.-listed companies competing for enterprise AI spending. Snowflake is strengthening its AI capabilities with Snowflake Intelligence and Cortex Code, helping organizations build intelligent applications on enterprise data. Snowflake's integrated data infrastructure supports broader AI deployment and customer engagement.

Meanwhile, C3.ai offers enterprise AI applications designed to improve operational efficiency across industries. Its industry-specific software solutions address complex business challenges through predictive analytics and automation. While Snowflake benefits from its established cloud data ecosystem, C3.ai focuses on expanding enterprise application adoption. Both companies face increasing competition as businesses accelerate AI investments.

That level is reinforced by the confluence of support indicators from approximately $166.39 to $159.65. This creates a broader support zone that could attract buyers on an extended decline. If that zone fails, the 200-day moving average near $154 marks the next lower potential support level.

Countertrend Rallies Face Increasing Resistance
Given the potential downside, rallies from here would be countertrend and vulnerable to resistance, potentially setting the stage for another leg lower. Since the 200-day moving average was reclaimed on August 4, it has not been tested as support during the pullback. The absence of a successful retest may increase the risk that PLTR eventually falls through the next support zone, particularly if selling pressure persists following earnings.

Weekly Chart Reinforces Broader Downside Risk
The weekly chart adds to analysis, showing the potential development of a double top pattern, and key dynamic support near the 50-week moving average around $157. That average aligns closely with the daily chart’s 200-day moving average near $154, reinforcing the importance of the broader support area. The alignment also strengthens the significance of the September swing low at $164.55, which sits just above this confluence. In that sense, the daily and weekly charts point to a similar downside region, bringing the analysis back to the key levels that could determine whether the recent weakness develops into a deeper correction.

2 AI Stocks Poised to Surge on the Halloween Effect
MU Micron Technology
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Micron's fiscal 2026 revenues surged to $133.19 billion from $37.38 billion in fiscal 2025.
Micron expects $61.5 billion in fiscal Q1 2027 revenues, with gross margin reaching 87% in Q4.NVIDIA's Data Center revenues jumped 117% to $89 billion, while Q3 revenue guidance stands at $108 billion.
The Halloween strategy is a bullish seasonal investment approach that encourages investors to buy stocks in November and sell them in April. Historically, stocks have performed better from November through April. Following this approach, investors should stick to growth-oriented artificial intelligence (AI) stocks during the November-April period, then shift to other asset classes during May to October.

Although the effectiveness of the strategy remains debatable, growing adoption of AI and strong end-of-year spending on technology could provide additional support to AI-related stocks. On that note, companies including Micron Technology (MU - Free Report) and NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA - Free Report) could gain from investors’ interest and benefit from the Halloween effect.

But investors shouldn’t just place their bets on these stocks based on an investing theory. Their strong fundamentals and growth potential offer compelling reasons to buy them now. Let’s take a closer look –

AI Demand Fuels Micron’s Growth and Earnings Outlook Increase in demand for AI infrastructure has fueled growth for Micron’s cutting-edge high-bandwidth memory chips, driving revenues to $54.23 billion in the fiscal fourth quarter of 2026, way more than $11.32 billion a year ago, according to the company’s Sept. 30 press release. For fiscal 2026, revenues also jumped to $133.19 billion from $37.38 billion in fiscal 2025.

Looking ahead, Micron projects revenues of $61.5 billion, plus or minus $1.5 billion, for the fiscal first quarter of 2027, banking on robust data center demand. The company’s profitability is also improving, with non-GAAP gross margin increasing to 87% in the fiscal fourth quarter from 84.9% in the fiscal third quarter.

Strategic customer agreements, an optimal product mix, and higher selling prices support Micron’s further growth outlook. The company’s expected earnings growth rate for the current and next quarter is 699.2% and 248.8%, respectively.

AI Demand and Expanding Margins to Boost NVIDIA’s Growth  NVIDIA’s revenues soared 106% year over year and 18% sequentially to $96 billion in the fiscal second quarter of 2027, boosted primarily by a jump of 117% in Data Center revenues to $89 billion, according to the company’s Aug. 26 press release.

Looking ahead, management expects continued growth, with revenues projected to come in at $108 billion, plus or minus 2%, in the fiscal third quarter of 2027. NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin platform has now entered full production, which has positioned the company to gain from the increase in demand for AI infrastructure.

Meanwhile, NVIDIA’s net income and GAAP operating income have increased. Its gross margin improved to 75% in the fiscal second quarter from 72.4% a year earlier. Strong margins and improving revenues further support NVIDIA’s growth outlook. The company’s expected earnings growth rate for the current and next quarter is 91.5% and 69.8%, respectively.

While Micron currently has a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), NVIDIA has a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks Rank #1 stocks here.

Strong Dupixent profits, higher Eylea HD sales and robust Libtayo demand drove the performance.

The stock is trading up in response to better-than-expected quarterly results.

Regeneron’s shares have gained 6.1% year to date compared with the industry’s growth of 7.2%.

REGN's Eylea HD Sales Rise While Legacy Eylea Sales DeclineEylea HD generated sales of $699 million in the United States, up 62% year over year, driven by higher demand and sales volumes. Sales beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $632 million.

Eylea sales declined 41% to $400 million in the United States, primarily due to continued competitive pressure and patients transitioning to Eylea HD. Nevertheless, sales exceeded the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $331 million.

Combined U.S. sales of Eylea and Eylea HD declined 1% to $1.10 billion, reflecting the ongoing shift toward the higher-dose formulation.

Regeneron records U.S. sales of both drugs, while Bayer BAYRY records sales outside the country. Regeneron's share of profits from international sales is included in collaboration revenues.

Regeneron's Collaboration Revenues Jump in Q3Total collaboration revenues increased 52% year over year to $3.00 billion, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2.75 billion.

Sanofi’s SNY collaboration revenues surged 68% to $2.72 billion, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2.51 billion. Growth reflected higher profits associated with Dupixent.

Global Dupixent sales climbed 35% to $6.54 billion.

Regeneron records its share of profits from global Dupixent and Kevzara sales within collaboration revenues, while Sanofi records the products' net sales.

Bayer’s collaboration revenues declined 23% to $267 million, reflecting lower profit contributions from international Eylea sales.

REGN's Libtayo Sales Maintain Strong MomentumGlobal Libtayo sales surged 51% year over year to $550 million, exceeding the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $493 million. U.S. sales climbed 81% to $396 million, supported by higher demand.

Praluent's U.S. sales increased 21% to $81 million, while Evkeeza sales rose 28% to $55 million.

Lynozyfic, approved for certain patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma, generated global sales of $19 million.

Regeneron's Q3 Expenses and MarginsAdjusted research and development (R&D) expenses increased 23% year over year to $1.65 billion, driven by clinical pipeline advancement and increased manufacturing activities involving product candidates.

Adjusted selling, general and administrative expenses increased 9% to $588 million.

Adjusted gross margin on net product sales remained unchanged at 86%.

REGN's Pipeline and Regulatory UpdatesIn August, the FDA approved Pasatru for adults with fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva, a rare disorder involving abnormal bone formation. A regulatory application is also under review in the EU.

The FDA also accepted the resubmitted application for Ordspono in relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, with a decision expected in February 2027.

Regeneron expects an FDA decision on cemdisiran for generalized myasthenia gravis in November 2026.

Meanwhile, the company plans to initiate a phase III study of its CIDEB-targeting RNAi therapy for metabolic liver disease in the fourth quarter.

Regeneron Revises 2026 GuidanceRegeneron raised its 2026 adjusted R&D expense guidance to $6.05-$6.15 billion from $5.95-$6.05 billion.

However, the company lowered adjusted SG&A expense guidance to $2.40-$2.50 billion from $2.50-$2.60 billion. It raised its adjusted gross margin outlook to approximately 86% from 84-85%.

During the first nine months of 2026, Regeneron repurchased $2.30 billion of its shares. As of Sept. 30, $2.20 billion remained available under its repurchase programs.

Our Take on REGN's Q3 PerformanceRegeneron's strong quarterly performance reflects growing Dupixent profit contributions and continued commercial momentum for Eylea HD and Libtayo.

However, declining legacy Eylea sales remain a headwind, while higher R&D spending reflects the company's expanding clinical pipeline. The revised guidance also indicates increased investment in development activities.

Regeneron's expanded Sanofi collaboration adds four next-generation, long-acting immunology antibodies. The agreement includes a $1 billion upfront payment to be recognized as fourth-quarter collaboration revenues, with future milestones of up to $7 billion.

This agreement, together with continued pipeline advancement, expands Regeneron's development opportunities beyond its existing commercial portfolio.

Binance: Has recouped approximately 80% of the stolen funds, expects to resume withdrawals in phases within 34 hours, and plans to conduct its first proof-of-reserves snapshot within 12 hours.

Binance released Security Incident Update Announcement #2 at 3:33 AM today, disclosing its 24-hour investigation and asset compensation progress. The announcement noted that at 04:05 UTC+8 on October 30, 2026, Binance’s hot wallet was hacked, resulting in losses of approximately $6.3 billion in token assets. Binance emphasized that it will fully cover all losses via its SAFU Fund and corporate capital, with no losses passed on to users. To date, Binance has secured over $6.34 billion in corporate funds: more than $5 billion equivalent in assets including USDC, USDT, BTC, ETH and BNB are already in place, around 80% of the stolen funds have been replenished, while the remaining portion is being acquired via market and over-the-counter (OTC) channels. Earlier, Binance froze roughly $3 billion in assets on-chain. Regarding the attack’s cause, Binance said initial probes pointed to a compromised laptop as a possible factor, but subsequent investigations uncovered additional intrusion vectors. No evidence of wallet private key leakage has been found so far, with further technical investigation results expected in approximately 48 hours. For next steps, Binance is targeting to restore withdrawal services in phases within around 34 hours, subject to security check progress; it plans to conduct its first Proof of Reserves snapshot within 12 hours, with results to be published by November 2. Additionally, Binance will continue collaborating with law enforcement agencies, blockchain intelligence firms and asset issuers to track and recover stolen funds, and will release a full technical review report.

Blackstone: Anthropic may not immediately secure an investment-grade rating after its listing, and its financing sources could be constrained.

Beating AI News Flash: According to the Financial Times, citing sources familiar with the matter, Blackstone has informed investors in Anthropic’s latest $63 billion chip financing deal that the AI firm may not immediately obtain an investment-grade credit rating after its IPO, and is expected to receive a high-grade non-investment-grade (junk) rating. This contradicts Blackstone’s earlier guidance that Anthropic would secure an investment-grade rating by the end of the year. The development could limit Anthropic’s financing options, as many insurance and pension funds are barred from making large investments in junk-rated borrowers. Anthropic may need to continue relying on high-credit-rating providers to support its financing. Its prospectus shows the company plans to invest over $800 billion in building computing infrastructure by 2045. Securing an investment-grade credit rating is critical to meeting these targets, as it would enable Anthropic to borrow at lower interest rates to fund its AI infrastructure projects. The group holds more than $112 billion in cash and equivalents, and investors expect it to raise an additional roughly $100 billion in its IPO. In the "Project North Star" financing, over $42 billion in senior loans are guaranteed by Broadcom. The $18 billion subordinated debt has received a BB+ rating from KBRA with a positive outlook, and a BB rating from Morningstar DBRS. A Blackstone fund has invested $9 billion in this tranche, with a yield exceeding 10%. The three major rating agencies—Fitch, Moody’s, and S&P—have not yet formally assigned a credit rating to Anthropic.

Tether releases Q3 financial report: net operating profit reaches $1.5 billion, and excess reserves nearly double to $7.95 billion

Tether released its third-quarter 2026 financial report, posting a net operating profit of $1.5 billion, roughly flat with the previous quarter. Cumulative net operating profit for the first three quarters reached $4.5 billion, with its main revenue sources remaining U.S. short-term Treasury bonds and reverse repurchase agreements. As of September 30, Tether’s excess reserves rose to approximately $7.95 billion, nearly doubling from $4.1 billion at the end of Q2, an increase of about $3.8 billion. Total reserve assets at the end of the quarter stood at around $191.5 billion, with direct and indirect holdings of U.S. short-term Treasury bonds totaling $132.4 billion, and most reserves allocated to highly liquid, short-dated instruments. Tether noted that the total issuance of USDT remained broadly stable at $184 billion in the first three quarters of 2026. CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that the company’s reserve strategy aims to ensure liquidity to meet redemption demands during periods of market and financial system stress, while enhancing financial strength through excess reserves.

DECRYPT: Secret Service, FBI Join Binance Hack Probe as Circle Freezes $823 Million
SCRT Secret
CoinGecko News
Original source text
In brief Binance is working with the FBI and U.S. Secret Service after hackers stole $6.4 billion from the cryptocurrency exchange, according to Reuters. Circle froze approximately $823 million in USDC connected to the attack, while Tether froze another $975.1 million in USDT. Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire said the company was coordinating with law enforcement. Blockchain intelligence firms TRM Labs and Chainalysis attributed the attack to TraderTraitor, a North Korean hacking group previously linked to the $1.5 billion Bybit hack. Binance is working with the FBI and U.S. Secret Service after hackers stole $6.4 billion from the cryptocurrency exchange, as Circle joins the recovery effort by freezing more than $800 million in assets connected to the attack, according to Reuters.

A person familiar with the matter told Reuters that Binance was cooperating with law enforcement agencies around the world, including both U.S. agencies. The FBI confirmed it was aware of the incident and was working with public and private partners to assess its scope and coordinate investigative steps. The Secret Service remained silent.

Myriad: How low will Bitcoin go? Click to make your prediction.Investigating financial crimes is part of the Secret Service’s job, beyond its better-known responsibility of protecting the president. The agency also investigates computer crimes, unauthorized access to computer systems, and crimes involving digital currencies.

Circle, the company behind USDC, a stablecoin designed to maintain a value of $1, has separately confirmed that it is coordinating with law enforcement. CEO Jeremy Allaire said the company had frozen more than $800 million in USDC associated with the Binance incident and would continue supporting the investigation.

Tether, which issues the competing USDT stablecoin, froze another $1.5 billion in tokens. Both companies can blacklist specific blockchain addresses, preventing the tokens they issue from being transferred out of those wallets. That ability gives stablecoin companies an unusual role in crypto investigations: they can effectively immobilize stolen money before investigators identify the people responsible.

Tether froze more than 1.567B USDT related to a potential Binance exchange hack.

Protecting the industry and our partners is our main priority.

Stay safe everyone.

— Paolo Ardoino 🤖 (@paoloardoino) October 29, 2026

This is not the first time the Secret Service has worked alongside crypto companies to investigate digital asset crimes. In April, Operation Atlantic—a joint effort involving the Secret Service, the U.K.'s National Crime Agency, Binance, Coinbase, and other crypto firms— identified more than 20,000 victims of approval phishing scams, traced $45 million in stolen funds and froze $12 million.

The Binance investigation also comes against the backdrop of a growing number of attacks attributed to North Korea. Blockchain intelligence firms TRM Labs and Chainalysis have both linked the $6.3 billion theft to TraderTraitor, a hacking group associated with the country's cyber operations. The same group has been linked to the $1.5 billion Bybit hack in February 2025, which the FBI also attributed to North Korean hackers.

North Korean attackers have targeted Binance itself before, including through attempts to infiltrate the exchange by posing as job applicants. In an interview with Decrypt in 2025, Binance Chief Security Officer Jimmy Su said North Korean operatives were contacting employees on LinkedIn every day, sometimes using fake interviews to deliver malware to their devices.

Binance has said it will cover all losses using company funds and its Secure Asset Fund for Users, an emergency reserve designed to protect customers in the event of a security breach. CEO Richard Teng said on Friday that the company had reserved more than $6.34 billion to cover the stolen assets, while approximately $3 billion had already been located or frozen with the help of industry partners.

The exchange initially suspected that a compromised laptop belonging to a DevOps engineer had provided the attackers with access to its systems. It has since identified additional points of breach and said it found no evidence that wallet private keys had been leaked. Withdrawals remain suspended while Binance reviews its security infrastructure, with the company targeting a resumption by Sunday.

IBM vs. ServiceNow: Which Technology Stock Is a Better Buy in 2026?
NOW ServiceNow
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Investors seeking stability often look toward established tech giants, while those chasing growth prefer cloud-native leaders. Choosing between International Business Machines (IBM -0.18%) and ServiceNow Inc. (NOW -4.15%) requires weighing legacy strength against modern expansion.

International Business Machines focuses on hybrid cloud and AI consulting, making it a cornerstone for large enterprise modernization. Conversely, ServiceNow specializes in digital workflow automation, helping companies streamline complex internal processes. Comparing these two reveals how different software models approach the digital transformation market in 2026.

The case for International Business MachinesInternational Business Machines provides enterprise technology through its hybrid cloud and AI platforms. The company maintains a broad ecosystem of partners to deliver these solutions, including Adobe Inc. (ADBE +0.85%), Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN -1.41%), Microsoft Corp. (MSFT -1.55%), Oracle Corp. (ORCL -6.37%), Palo Alto Networks (PANW -3.86%), Salesforce.com Inc. (CRM -0.75%), Samsung Electronics (SSNLF +0.00%), and SAP Inc. (SAP +0.41%). In October 2026, it launched 'IBM Ready for SAP Solutions' to assist midsize businesses with ERP modernization.

In FY 2025, revenue reached about $67.5 billion, marking a 7.6% increase from the prior year. Net income grew to approximately $10.6 billion, representing a net margin of 15.7%. This improvement suggests that the strategic shift toward high-value software and consulting is yielding financial results. As disclosed in its latest annual report, the company services thousands of organizations across more than 175 countries.

As of its December 2025 balance sheet, the debt-to-equity ratio is 2.1x. This ratio compares total debt to shareholder equity, indicating the extent to which a company relies on borrowing to fund operations. The current ratio, which measures the ability to cover short-term debts with short-term assets, is roughly 0.9x. Free cash flow reached approximately $12.1 billion, which represents cash from operations minus capital expenditures.

The case for ServiceNowServiceNow provides an AI platform designed for business transformation by connecting people, data, and devices through cloud-based workflow software. The company serves approximately 8,700 enterprise customers, with a growing segment of business generated from the public sector. Strategic partners include Amazon, Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL -1.40%), Microsoft, and Nvidia Corp. (NVDA -4.22%). The rapid adoption of tech stocks across regulated industries has helped fuel its expansion.

In FY 2025, revenue reached approximately $13.3 billion, reflecting growth of roughly 20.9% over the previous period. Net income for the period was about $1.7 billion, resulting in a net margin of 13.2%. This high double-digit revenue growth highlights the strong demand for its automation platform. The company continues to invest heavily in innovation to maintain its competitive edge in the workflow management space.

As of its December 2025 balance sheet, ServiceNow maintains a debt-to-equity ratio of nearly 0.2x and a current ratio of roughly 1.0x. Free cash flow for the period reached around $4.6 billion. Note that stock-based compensation represented roughly 35.9% of operating cash flow, which inflates reported cash generation since SBC is a non-cash expense added back in the cash flow statement. This practice is common among high-growth software firms but remains a factor for investors to monitor.

Risk profile comparisonInternational Business Machines faces intense competition in software and consulting markets from both large enterprises and niche providers. The company also deals with the challenges of successfully integrating acquired companies, such as its September 2026 purchase of Logiq Consulting Ltd. Additionally, risks related to cybersecurity and AI governance remain critical as new global regulatory requirements emerge. Volatility in financial results may occur due to long sales cycles and reliance on complex global supply chains.

ServiceNow must continuously innovate its AI-powered platform to remain relevant in an intensely competitive software market. The company also manages operational and ethical challenges associated with incorporating AI into its core products. Furthermore, its heavy reliance on government procurement processes and regulation can lead to lengthy sales cycles or potential contract terminations. Managing an increasingly complex acquisition strategy, such as the $7.75 billion purchase of Armis, also poses integration risks.

Valuation comparisonInternational Business Machines offers a significantly lower valuation multiple compared to the high-growth premium currently assigned to ServiceNow by the market.

MetricInternational Business MachinesServiceNowForward P/E18.9x36.3xP/S ratio3.2x10.4xValuation metrics include those sourced from Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) and may differ from those of other data providers.

ServiceNow shares have experienced a volatile 2026 because of fears that generative AI will replace Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) businesses. That’s a vague worry right now and probably overstated in the long run.

Management sees a unique opportunity to leverage its core information technology strength in operations applications through rolling out new GenAI tools, especially its new agentic AI services. ServiceNow expects GenAI to be an accelerator for business, increasing its total available market and boosting average selling prices.

For the current fiscal year, consensus estimates project the business to grow sales 22% to $16.2 billion, although with a drop in net income of about $300 million to $1.4 billion.

IBM, meanwhile, had a stumble when it announced price increases to its mainframe customers, leading customers to switch to other providers, crimping revenue in the current fiscal year’s second quarter.

Still, demand for generative AI and cloud solutions is helping IBM. In particular, AI is instrumental to IBM's future. The belief is that much of the company's extensive roster of enterprise clients in technology is seeking to upgrade IT infrastructures with a trusted partner—IBM.

For the current fiscal year, revenue will grow a little sluggishly, from $68 billion to about $71 billion, although net income will tick down by $ 1 billion to around $9 billion, according to consensus estimates.

So which stock is the better buy? With its lower forward P/E ratio and P/S ratio compared to ServiceNow, IBM is the choice for long-term investors.

At 70 He’ll Sell the Rental House He’s Owned Since 2004. The Depreciation He Never Bothered to Claim Will Still Be Taxed, Because the IRS Counts What He Could Have Taken
INTU Intuit
FMP Stock News
Original source text
He skipped every depreciation deduction for two decades, assuming that meant nothing to repay when he finally sold. The IRS has a different definition of what he took.

This post may contain links from our sponsors and affiliates, and Flywheel Publishing may receive compensation for actions taken through them.

Picture someone who is 70 and has owned his rental house since 2004. As it stands, he figures the sale will be clean. He never claimed depreciation, so he thinks there’s nothing to pay back. That assumption could cost him tens of thousands of dollars.

Depreciation is the annual tax write-off landlords get for a building’s wear and tear. The tax code spreads a residential rental’s building cost (land excluded) over 27.5 years. When the house sells, the law reduces its cost basis (what the house counts as having cost him, for tax purposes) by depreciation “allowed or allowable”. That means whatever he was entitled to take, whether he took it or not. IRS Publication 551 puts it bluntly: “If you didn’t take a depreciation deduction, reduce the basis by the full amount of the depreciation you could have taken.”

Plenty of sellers get caught by this. On an Intuit (NASDAQ:INTU | INTU Price Prediction) forum for tax pros, one preparer described a client who sold a rental in 2024 and said the adjusted basis had to include “the depreciation taken and not taken.” The timing matters too. The Case-Shiller national home price index stands at 336.7, just under its July 2026 peak, so long-held rentals carry big gains.

What a 2004 Rental Actually Owes at Sale Here are the assumptions, all of which are hypothetical: he paid $300,000, with $60,000 for land, leaving a $240,000 building. He rented it for about 22 years, made no improvements, and cleared $550,000 after selling costs. He and his wife file jointly with $100,000 of other income, and they live in a state with only federal income tax.

Item Amount Depreciation he could have taken each year About $8,727 Total allowable depreciation $192,000 Adjusted basis $108,000 Taxable gain $442,000 That gain gets taxed in layers. The depreciation piece is called “unrecaptured section 1250 gain,” and it’s taxed like regular income but capped at 25%. Assuming the full cap, that’s $48,000.

The remaining $250,000 is ordinary appreciation, taxed at long-term capital gains rates of 0%, 15%, or 20%. At 15%, that’s $37,500. Then comes the 3.8% net investment income tax, which hits investment income once modified adjusted gross income passes $250,000 for joint filers ($200,000 for most single filers). Here it adds $11,096.

Total federal bill: about $96,596. Worse, he never got the $192,000 in deductions. If he’d been in the 22% bracket, those write-offs would have been worth about $42,240 in tax savings over the years. He paid full freight while he owned it, and he still owes the recapture now. One quiet IRS rule, six figures gone: we listed this one and eight others retirees routinely trip over in a free tax trap guide.

A Single Form Can Recover the Missed Deductions One filing can cover two decades of missed depreciation. Skipping depreciation is treated as using the wrong accounting method, and the fix is Form 3115, Application for Change in Accounting Method. It lets him claim all the missed depreciation as one catch-up deduction, called a Section 481(a) adjustment, on a single current return.

The best window is the tax year before the sale or the year of the sale, as that deduction directly offsets the recapture he can’t avoid. The best move would be to hire a CPA or enrolled agent for this one. The form is technical, and how much the catch-up saves depends on how it lines up with his other income and the passive-loss rules for rentals.

Why Holding Beats Selling for Many 70-Year-Olds Two alternatives deserve a hard look before he lists the house:

A like-kind exchange. Under Section 1031, he can trade into another investment property and recognize no gain. The deferred tax carries over to the new property, and he remains a landlord. Holding until death. Heirs get a basis equal to fair market value at the date of death, and the recapture rule doesn’t apply to a transfer at death. Both the $442,000 gain and the recapture disappear. Estate tax only enters the picture above a $15,000,000 basic exclusion for 2026 deaths. If he doesn’t need the cash and the kids will inherit, holding wins, and a property manager can take over the landlord work. If he needs the money or wants out, filing Form 3115 before the sale keeps the catch-up deduction.

Get One Number From a Preparer Before Listing Before he signs with a listing agent, he should ask a preparer for his adjusted basis: purchase price, plus improvements, minus every dollar of depreciation he was allowed. That one figure drives the size of the bill, shows how big the catch-up deduction can be, and tells him whether holding beats selling.

Avoid assuming that skipped depreciation means no recapture. The IRS taxes it as if he took it, so he might as well get the deduction.

SYK Stryker
FMP Stock News

Key Takeaways Stryker's Q3 EPS of $3.52 and sales of $6.52B missed estimates, sending shares down 11.8% after hours.Weak hip and knee procedures, cybersecurity disruptions and SAP challenges weighed on Stryker's performance.SYK cut its 2026 organic sales growth outlook to 6.5-7.0% and adjusted EPS guidance to $14.80-$14.90.
Stryker Corporation (SYK - Free Report) reported third-quarter 2026 adjusted earnings of $3.52 per share, up 10.3% year over year. The figure missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $3.56 by 1.1%. GAAP EPS declined 11.7% to $1.96.

Revenues were $6.52 billion, up 7.7% reportedly as well as organically. However, the sales missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 0.9%. Organic growth was supported by strong MedSurg demand and elevated capital equipment orders. However, weaker hip and knee procedures, commercial execution challenges and peripheral vascular supply constraints weighed on performance.

Following lower-than-expected sales and EPS amid Orthopaedic headwinds and disrupted commercial execution due to a cybersecurity incident and SAP implementation, Stryker lowered its outlook for 2026. Expectations of continued weakness weighed on investor sentiment, sending the stock down 11.8% in after-hours trading following the earnings release. The company’s shares have lost 11.3% in the year-to-date period compared with the industry’s 18.9% decline. The S&P 500 Index has risen 12.4% in the same time frame.

Stryker's MedSurg Portfolio Sustains MomentumMedSurg and Neurotechnology revenues increased 9.2% to $3.66 billion, with organic growth of 9.1%. Endoscopy sales climbed 13.9% to $1.02 billion, supported by operating room infrastructure investments and strong Sports Medicine demand.

Medical revenues rose 9.7% to $1.08 billion, driven by Sage, Smart Care and elevated capital demand. Instruments sales increased 5.1% to $996 million. Growth was partially offset by deferred neurosurgical equipment purchases ahead of the Sonopet 3 launch.

Vascular sales advanced 8.0% to $566 million, benefiting from one-time revenues associated with a regulatory milestone in China. However, manufacturing-related supply disruptions continued to constrain product availability. Management expects inventory levels to normalize through year-end.

SYK's Orthopaedics Growth Slows Amid Market WeaknessOrthopaedics revenues increased 5.7% to $2.86 billion, with organic growth of 5.9%. Knees sales rose 1.1% to $635 million, while Hips revenues declined 1% to $453 million. While Knees recorded 1.3% organic growth in the United States, Hips sales were down 0.6% organically.

Trauma and Extremities revenues increased 5.3% to $1.01 billion, supported by upper-extremity demand. Ortho Tech sales jumped 15.8% to $754 million, reflecting strong Mako robotic-system sales and orthopedic power-tool demand.

The first-quarter cybersecurity incident and July SAP implementation disrupted commercial execution. These challenges delayed adoption of Mako RPS and Triathlon Gold despite positive customer feedback. Management is strengthening sales execution to improve competitive conversions.

SYK's US Sales Growth Faces Orthopaedic HeadwindsU.S. sales increased 8.3% to $4.95 billion, while international revenues rose 5.7% to $1.57 billion. Foreign currency had no impact on consolidated sales growth, while pricing contributed 0.1 percentage points.

Management highlighted slowing hip and knee procedures amid higher insurance premiums, deductibles and increased preauthorization denials. European and Middle Eastern markets also faced disruptions. Stryker estimated annual hip and knee market growth at approximately 2.5%, below historical levels.

Stryker's Margins Improve Despite Revenue PressureAdjusted gross profit increased 8.5% to $4.27 billion. Adjusted gross margin expanded 40 basis points to 65.4%, benefiting from operational efficiencies and favorable tariff effects.

Adjusted selling, general and administrative expenses totaled $2.14 billion compared with $1.99 billion a year ago. Adjusted research, development and engineering expenses increased to $417 million from $398 million.

Adjusted operating income increased 10.1% to $1.71 billion. Adjusted operating margin expanded 60 basis points to 26.2%, reflecting improved gross profitability and disciplined expense management. Margin expansion helped mitigate the earnings impact of softer sales.

SYK's Cash Generation Supports Share RepurchasesStryker ended the third quarter with $3.27 billion in cash and cash equivalents compared with $3.39 billion as of June-end.

Cumulative net cash provided by operating activities for the first nine months was $3.30 billion compared to $2.9 billion in the year-ago period. The company repurchased $1 billion of shares during the third quarter and received board authorization for an additional $3 billion in October.

Management reiterated that acquisitions remain its primary capital allocation priority. The company recently acquired ZuriMED and announced an investment in CMR Surgical, alongside an exclusive U.S. sales agreement for its Versius robotic platform.

Stryker Cuts 2026 Outlook on Procedural WeaknessStryker now expects full-year organic sales growth of 6.5-7.0%, down from its previous projection of 8.3-9.3%. Adjusted earnings are projected between $14.80 and $14.90 per share compared with the earlier guidance of $14.95-$15.10.

The revised outlook reflects weaker hip and knee procedures, lingering peripheral vascular supply constraints and greater caution around capital equipment deliveries. Management expects fourth-quarter organic growth broadly consistent with third-quarter performance, supported by Medical, Instruments and Trauma and Extremities.

Looking ahead to 2027, Stryker expects new product launches, including its power hip impactor, upgraded Neptune platform and AVS intravascular lithotripsy technology, to drive growth. Strong capital demand and an elevated order book remain favorable, although a recovery in joint replacement procedures remains uncertain.

What General Dynamics (GD) Said on Its Q3 Earnings Call
GD General Dynamics
FMP Stock News
Original source text
RTX Locks In a Decade of Defense DominanceGeneral Dynamics NYSE: GD reported third-quarter 2026 results marked by double-digit growth in revenue, earnings and backlog, prompting the defense contractor to raise its full-year earnings forecast for the third time this year.

The company posted diluted earnings per share of $4.49 on revenue of $14.57 billion. Revenue rose 12.9% from the prior-year quarter, while operating earnings increased 14.7% to $1.53 billion and net earnings climbed 16.1% to $1.23 billion. Companywide operating margin improved 20 basis points to 10.5%.

Get General Dynamics alerts:

Pathward’s Credit Scare Tests Its Comeback StoryChairman and Chief Executive Officer Phebe Novakovic described the period as “even better” than the company’s already strong second quarter. General Dynamics said it exceeded consensus expectations by $0.37 per share, supported by higher-than-anticipated revenue and operating earnings.

Record Orders Drive Backlog to $220 Billion
General Dynamics recorded nearly $99 billion in new orders during the quarter, lifting backlog to a record $220 billion—double the year-ago level. Total estimated contract value, including options and indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts, reached $271 billion.

RTX Stock Gets a Radar Lock on a $23B Navy WinMarine Systems accounted for much of the order activity. Electric Boat received awards totaling $29.5 billion for five additional Columbia-class submarines under Build II and $42.1 billion for nine additional Virginia-class submarines under Block VI.

Chief Financial Officer Kim Kuryea said overall Defense segment book-to-bill was 8.5 times for the quarter. Aerospace posted dollar-based book-to-bill of 1.4 times, while new aircraft orders during the first nine months of 2026 were more than 30% above the prior-year period.

“These results reflect the strength of demand across our businesses,” Kuryea said.

Marine Systems Leads Revenue and Profit Growth
Marine Systems revenue increased 21% year over year, driven primarily by construction activity on Columbia-class and Virginia-class submarines, followed by DDG-51 destroyer and T-AO ship construction. Segment earnings rose 34.4%, with operating margin improving 80 basis points.

Novakovic said the shipyards made measurable productivity gains, particularly at Electric Boat, where earned hours increased significantly in the second and third quarters. President Danny Deep said throughput increased across all shipyards as the company works toward “delivering more ships faster.”

Deep said Electric Boat expects to deliver the final Block IV Virginia-class submarine within the next several months. The company is targeting delivery of the first Columbia-class submarine and the first Virginia-class submarine equipped with the Virginia Payload Module by the end of 2028.

Marine Systems’ third-quarter margin also benefited from a one-time cumulative catch-up adjustment associated with strong performance on Virginia Block IV. Excluding that adjustment, Deep said segment performance remained better than during the first half of the year. He described the mid-7% margin range as a baseline, with opportunity for further improvement as production performance advances.

Aerospace Gains From Gulfstream Deliveries and Services
Aerospace revenue rose 9.3% to $3.54 billion, while operating earnings increased $83 million to $513 million. Segment operating margin expanded 120 basis points to 14.5%.

Gulfstream delivered 40 aircraft during the quarter, one more than a year earlier, and benefited from a slightly more favorable aircraft mix. The business also posted increased services revenue, as did Jet Aviation.

Deep said Gulfstream continued to realize manufacturing and completions efficiency gains, particularly on the G700 and G800 programs. The company delivered its 33rd G800 during the quarter.

Management cited active interest across its aircraft lineup in the U.S., Western Europe and Southeast Asia. Novakovic said customers in the Middle East remained active in the sales pipeline but were slower to place orders amid the geopolitical environment.

Looking longer term, Deep said General Dynamics intends to deliver 200 Gulfstream aircraft in 2030. Achieving that target will require production of more than 200 aircraft in 2029, he said. The company has the workforce, facilities and production capacity to support that level, though further expansion beyond 200 annual deliveries would require additional investments if demand supports it.

Combat and Technologies Continue to Expand
Combat Systems revenue grew 6% to $2.39 billion, although operating earnings declined by $5 million as operating margin contracted 110 basis points. The margin pressure was largely tied to a transition from legacy production programs to new development programs at Land Systems.

European Land Systems revenue rose 28% year over year, according to Deep, while Ordnance and Tactical Systems benefited from growing demand for medium- and large-caliber munitions and propellants. Management said demand for wheeled and tracked vehicles is being supported primarily by U.S. allies and a heightened threat environment.

Technologies revenue increased 10.8% to $3.7 billion, with General Dynamics Information Technology leading growth. Segment operating earnings rose 5.8% to $346 million, though margin declined 40 basis points due largely to business mix. Technologies posted quarterly book-to-bill of 1.4 times, and Mission Systems recorded its highest-ever quarterly orders.

Raised Outlook and Cash Generation
General Dynamics raised its 2026 diluted EPS outlook to a range of $17.20 to $17.30, from its prior guidance of $16.80 to $16.90. The forecast contemplates revenue of $56.5 billion to $56.8 billion and companywide operating margin of about 10.5%.

The company generated $1.7 billion in operating cash flow during the quarter and more than $5.7 billion in the first nine months. Free cash flow totaled $1.2 billion in the quarter and $4.8 billion year to date. General Dynamics continues to expect full-year free-cash-flow conversion of roughly 105%, with potential upside depending on fourth-quarter capital-project spending.

Capital expenditures totaled $481 million in the third quarter, and Kuryea said investment is expected to accelerate in the fourth quarter, particularly at shipyards. The company repaid $1 billion in maturing notes during 2026, ending the quarter with approximately $4.4 billion in cash and net debt of $2.6 billion.

Novakovic also said the call would be her final earnings call as CEO. She will remain Executive Chair and work with Deep, his team and the board.

Coinbase stock hits two-year low as analyst cuts and Binance hack weigh
COIN Coinbase
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Coinbase NASDAQ:COIN shares fell to their lowest level in more than two years on Friday as Wall Street analysts lowered price targets following the cryptocurrency exchange's third-quarter results.

A broader sell-off in digital assets and concerns surrounding a reported $6.3 billion Binance hack added to the pressure on crypto-related stocks.

COIN shares dropped more than 14% during trading, reaching levels last seen in February 2024.

Bitcoin also came under pressure, falling as much as 4.8% over 24 hours to around $76,900.

Other cryptocurrency-linked stocks also declined.

Circle Internet Group fell 10.7%, while Strategy shares lost 8.88%, reflecting broader weakness across the digital asset sector.

Needham, Rosenblatt, JPMorgan, Barclays and other investment firms lowered their price targets on Coinbase following its third-quarter earnings report.

Coinbase reported earnings of $2.51 per share, significantly exceeding the consensus estimate of $0.08, according to Koyfin.

However, revenue of $1.21 billion came in slightly below expectations of $1.22 billion.

Analysts highlighted weaker cryptocurrency trading activity, a softer revenue outlook and higher operating costs as concerns.

Barclays lowered its price target to $120 from $149 while maintaining an Underweight rating.

The firm said Coinbase's revenue run rate heading into the fourth quarter was trending lower, while costs were expected to exceed previous estimates.

This prompted a sizeable reduction in its near-term earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) forecasts.

Needham also reduced its price target to $197 from $205 but maintained a Buy rating.

Despite the earnings beat, analysts remained cautious about the company's near-term revenue prospects as trading activity weakened.

Coinbase's expansion beyond conventional cryptocurrency trading has provided some support amid subdued market conditions.

Rosenblatt analyst Chris Brendler described the third-quarter results as the "clearest evidence yet" that Coinbase's Everything Exchange strategy was working.

The analyst said newer products were absorbing some of the weakness in cryptocurrency trading that would otherwise have weighed more heavily on revenue.

Wells Fargo also highlighted prediction markets and USDC as areas helping cushion the weaker cryptocurrency environment.

However, the firm said the quarterly results did not indicate a broader acceleration in business activity.

JPMorgan analyst Kenneth Worthington noted that the transaction environment remained challenging and that assigning value to Coinbase's expanding prediction markets business was difficult.

Goldman Sachs pointed to Coinbase's scale, profitability, distribution, expense discipline and expansion into prediction markets and cryptocurrency derivatives as factors supporting its competitive position.

Coinbase also reported that its prediction markets business had surpassed $200 million in annualised revenue.

The exchange posted net income of $719 million, supported by approximately $715 million in gains on cryptocurrency investments.

Adjusted net income, excluding investment gains and other items, stood at $78 million. Net revenue declined approximately 34% year over year to $1.16 billion.

The analyst downgrades coincided with renewed concerns about cryptocurrency security following the reported $6.3 billion Binance hack.

The incident has raised questions about cybersecurity across the digital asset industry, even as there are no specific indications that Coinbase or Circle are particularly vulnerable to a similar attack.

Needham warned that developments surrounding Binance had unsettled cryptocurrency markets and identified AI-driven hacking risks as a concern for the sector heading into 2027.

Binance said it had reserved more than $6.34 billion in company funds to cover losses, including $5 billion already held in the affected tokens.

The exchange is also working to recover approximately $3 billion in frozen assets.

The incident could have broader implications if it discourages cryptocurrency trading or reduces stablecoin usage.

Lower trading volumes would potentially affect Coinbase and Circle's business activity.

NXP Semiconductors News Roundup Here are the key news stories impacting NXP Semiconductors this week:

Positive Sentiment: Strong Q3 execution: NXP exceeded consensus expectations for revenue and adjusted EPS, supported by automotive and industrial demand. Automotive revenue surpassed $2 billion for the first time, while software-defined vehicles, industrial AI and data-center applications were highlighted as longer-term growth opportunities. NXP beats third-quarter estimates Positive Sentiment: $5 billion share repurchase: The board authorized an additional $5 billion stock-buyback program. The authorization signals management’s confidence in NXP’s valuation and could support earnings per share by reducing the share count. NXP to repurchase $5 billion in stock Positive Sentiment: Upside remains in some forecasts: Truist maintained a Buy rating with a $300 target, while Needham also maintained Buy at $300 and KeyCorp retained Overweight with a $330 target. These targets reflect expectations that automotive recovery and newer growth markets can offset near-term caution. Truist price target update Neutral Sentiment: Technical momentum improved: NXPI recently moved above its 200-day moving average, which may attract momentum-oriented investors, though technical signals do not resolve the company’s fundamental guidance concerns. NXP breaks above 200-day moving average Negative Sentiment: Soft Q4 outlook: Forecast revenue of approximately $3.85 billion was slightly below consensus, and cautious operating-profit guidance revived concerns about automotive-chip demand. This initially overshadowed the quarterly beat and contributed to volatility. NXP fourth-quarter guidance Negative Sentiment: Analyst disagreement: Wells Fargo reiterated Equal Weight with a $245 target, while Stifel cut its target to $250 and kept a Hold rating. The reductions indicate that some analysts believe the recent rally already reflects much of NXP’s recovery potential. Strategy Has Sold $432 Million of Bitcoin This Year. Is the Biggest Buyer Turning Into a Seller?
MSTR Strategy
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Strategy Inc. just reported record profits while quietly offloading hundreds of millions in Bitcoin to cover mounting preferred stock costs. Whether the world's largest corporate Bitcoin holder is starting to shift from buyer to seller depends on numbers that tell…

In its third-quarter report released on October 29, 2026, Strategy Inc. (NASDAQ:MSTR | MSTR Price Prediction), the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, disclosed that it sold approximately $431.8 million worth of Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) throughout 2026. This sales revenue was used to cover preferred stock dividends and to buy back its Stretch preferred shares, trading as STRC. As of October 25, Strategy Inc. still held 848,517 BTC.

Despite reporting net income of $19.53 billion, or $44.75 per diluted share, MSTR’s stock declined. Shares traded at $131.50 in premarket trading today, down 7.2%, marking a 13.5% drop for the year. Additionally, Bitcoin fell 3.3% in just 24 hours to $77,370, dropping below its lowest close in the past 30 days.

Where Did the $431.8 Million Go?
The proceeds from the Bitcoin sales were primarily allocated to two main areas. The first expense was for preferred stock dividends, which provide a fixed income stream to shareholders before common stockholders receive any dividends. This cost reached $419.6 million in Q3, significantly up from $139.9 million a year earlier, as Strategy Inc. continued issuing more preferred shares to finance its Bitcoin purchases.

The second major expense was the buybacks of STRC shares. STRC pays a generous annual dividend of 12% on a stated amount of $100, even though it’s been trading below par value. In 2026, Strategy Inc. repurchased 20,980,508 STRC shares for about $2.04 billion, averaging $97.39 per share. Currently, about $956.7 million remains under a $3.0 billion buyback authorization.

The selling rate has also increased. In its Q2 report, Strategy Inc. noted $218.4 million in Bitcoin sales year-to-date under its BTC Monetization Program, bringing the total to $431.8 million.

Record Profits Driven by Accounting Rather Than Cash

Much of the profit stemmed from accounting methods rather than real cash flow. Most operational revenue still comes from Strategy Inc.’s original enterprise analytics software business. Q3 revenue came in at $125.4 million, short of the $129.36 million consensus. Subscription revenue rose to $68.59 million from $46 million, while product license revenue fell sharply, from $17.4 million to $3.83 million, as clients shifted to cloud-based solutions.

The significant profit reported almost entirely results from fair-value accounting practices. Strategy Inc. adjusts the market value of its Bitcoin holdings each quarter, so any increase in Bitcoin prices is reflected as income on paper. In Q3, Bitcoin rose 43%, generating a $20.91 billion gain in digital assets and boosting its earnings per share (EPS) well above the expected $17.98.

Still a Net Buyer, but Bitcoin Per Share Is Declining
By count, Strategy Inc. remains a major buyer. Its Bitcoin holdings increased by 26% in 2026, with $14.33 billion spent on Bitcoin against the $431.8 million sold. However, the overall results point the other way. The company reported a negative BTC yield of (3.7)% and a decrease of (24,947) BTC for the year, so each MSTR share now holds less Bitcoin than at the start of the year, versus a 22.8% BTC yield in 2025.

This shift contradicts earlier statements from management. CFO Andrew Kang said during the February 2026 earnings call that the company is committed to increasing Bitcoin per share and enhancing long-term value for shareholders. With Kang set to depart on November 5, Reza Virasteh will take over as CFO on January 1, 2027.

The decline in STRC’s price explains the need to sell Bitcoin. Executive Chairman Michael Saylor previously noted in February 2026 that they would refrain from selling STRC shares if they traded below $100. With STRC now under that threshold, Strategy Inc. has turned to selling MSTR shares and Bitcoin to cover expenses instead.

A recent vote on October 28 approved daily dividend accrual starting November 1, with 99.3% in favor. This could attract income-focused investors to the preferred stocks. Although Saylor anticipates a forthcoming bull market for Bitcoin, his position as the company’s chairman suggests that this forecast may carry bias.

Is the Largest Bitcoin Buyer Becoming a Seller?
For now, the answer is no. While Strategy Inc. sold Bitcoin to fund dividends and buybacks, it also invested $14.33 billion in Bitcoin in 2026 and increased its USD Assets to $5.07 billion, enabling it to pay preferred shareholders and support STRC without needing to undersell MSTR shares or deplete its cash reserves. For average Bitcoin holders, the situation is less favorable, as buying activity is not driving the price up.

Strategy: 3 Key Takeaways for Long-Term Investors
MSTR Strategy
FMP Stock News
Original source text
On its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Oct. 29, 2026, Strategy (MSTR -7.84%) reported $19.1 billion in net income as its balance sheet holdings grew to 848,517 Bitcoin.

The results showcase how the company uses fixed-income digital credit instruments to fund asset purchases while insulating its balance sheet against market downturns. Three takeaways from management's comments stand out for long-term investors.

1. Daily Dividends Aim to Stabilize Digital Credit SecuritiesManagement transitioned its Stretch (STRC -0.83%) preferred stock, a tradable high-yield digital credit fixed-income share, to daily dividend payments to expand investor demand and align with 24/7 trading markets. The move aims to dampen price swings in its yield products while distributing cash to holders on every calendar day.

Smaller, more frequent payments are designed to reduce volatility, improve liquidity, broaden investor demand, and get cash to investors sooner. Calendar day accruals also make Stretch and our pref's better suited to the future of tokenized products and increasingly around-the-clock markets.
-- Andrew Kang, Chief Financial Officer2. Cash Reserves Provide Multiyear Debt and Dividend CoverageManagement accumulated $5.1 billion in U.S. dollar (USD) cash assets to back its capital structure and reassure income investors. These liquid reserves cover 3.4 years of interest and dividend obligations, providing a deep buffer against potential prolonged weakness in digital asset prices.

Our USD assets provide 3.4 years of interest and dividends coverage at current payment obligations. We have approximately $6.7 billion of total convertible debt outstanding, compared with the $69 billion of Bitcoin and $5.1 billion of USD assets, representing a BTC Rating of 42x.
-- Andrew Kang, Chief Financial Officer3. Low Leverage Protects Capital Structure Against Price DeclinesStrategy lowered its net leverage, the ratio of debt minus cash to total assets, to 2.4% while expanding its treasury to 848,517 Bitcoin (BTC -2.79%). Management engineered this balance sheet buffer so that Bitcoin prices would need to drop another 78% before the asset's value fell below total debt obligations.

We reduced our net leverage to 2.4%, down from 8.4% in Q2. Our downside is really now well-protected, where Bitcoin could fall 78% to $18,000 before we are 1x covered for our liabilities by our Bitcoin asset value.

Looking AheadInstitutional adoption of digital assets is accelerating as major banks extend credit. Strategy retains structural advantages through its unencumbered asset reserve and cash buffer, positioning it to scale digital credit while maintaining capital discipline.

We feel like we are entering a bull market. We bounced off the 200-week moving average. Bitcoin's dominance is growing. Institutional demand is back. The banks are embracing Bitcoin. We feel like digital credit and banking credit could absorb all the new supply.
-- Michael Saylor, Founder and Executive ChairmanManagement is focused on maintaining credit quality while expanding its fixed-income product suite.

We have been building a fortress balance sheet so that as we enter a bull cycle, we think we can outperform the last bull cycle that we went through.

XDC Network Adds MoneyGram and Taurus as Validators, Lists on Robinhood and CoinTrade
XDCE XinFin Network
CoinGecko News
Original source text
XDC Network added MoneyGram and Taurus as institutional validators in October 2026, while the XDC token gained retail access through Robinhood Crypto and Japan's CoinTrade.

XDC Network, an enterprise-focused Layer 1 blockchain, closed October 2026 with new institutional validators and wider retail access for its native token. Payments company @MoneyGram and Swiss digital assets infrastructure provider @Taurus_hq joined the network as validators, while $XDC became available through @RobinhoodCrypto and Japan's CoinTrade.

MoneyGram and Taurus Join the Validator SetAccording to a press release published by crypto.news, MoneyGram joined XDC Network as an institutional validator, dated October 19, 2026. The company joins a validator set that already includes SBI Holdings, Deutsche Telekom, NTT DOCOMO Global, Clear Street, Hex Trust and Taurus, among other regulated institutions across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America.

Luke Tuttle, MoneyGram's Chief Product and Technology Officer, said the move means contributing directly to the infrastructure supporting the network. Yahoo Finance, in a report originally published by BeInCrypto, described MoneyGram as an 85-year-old remittance company serving around 60 million customers.

The validator role does not by itself bring MoneyGram's payment flows to XDC. BeInCrypto noted that MoneyGram's MGUSD stablecoin runs on Stellar, so the XDC role is about governance rather than customer flow for now.

Taurus joined as an institutional validator on October 7, according to a Genfinity review of XDC Network's October activity. Taurus co-founder Lamine Brahimi described the role as a contribution to network security and resilience.

Robinhood and CoinTrade Widen Retail AccessOn the consumer side, Crypto Briefing reported that Robinhood Crypto added XDC for eligible US customers on October 8, 2026, with some state restrictions applying. Genfinity reported that New York residents cannot trade the token on the platform. A press release distributed by Cointelegraph, commissioned by XDC, said the listing opens the token to 2.3 million users on the Robinhood platform.

Genfinity also reported that Japan's CoinTrade began offering XDC the same day. The exchange is operated by Mercury Co. and now lists 26 assets. CoinTrade also added XDC to its recurring purchase feature and plans to add staking soon, according to VOIX as cited by Genfinity.

Listings alone do not guarantee higher adoption or liquidity. Even so, the month's additions show XDC combining validator support from established financial firms with easier access for retail traders in the United States and Japan.
