Akcie společnosti Six Flags po nehodě na horské dráze v Georgii, při níž zemřel jeden člověk, v pondělním obchodování po skončení hlavní obchodní seance klesly o více než 10 %.
Shares of Six Flags Entertainment plunged more than 10% in after-hours trading Monday following reports of a deadly roller coaster incident at one of its amusement parks in Georgia, marking a sharp reversal from gains during the regular session.
The stock had closed 4.5% higher during regular trading before the after-hours sell-off.
One person died and several others were injured in an incident involving the park's 200-foot-tall Goliath roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia in Cobb County shortly before 4 p.m. Monday, according to the report, citing local police.
Police did not provide additional details about the incident, the report showed.
Witnesses told a local news station they saw a man fall from the roller coaster and strike the ride several times. Riders were later seen being evacuated from the roller coaster after it stopped near the top of the ride, the report said.
Six Flags said its park staff and local authorities responded immediately to the incident, adding that it was cooperating fully with the investigation, had temporarily closed similar attractions across its parks and would not release further details out of respect for the family's privacy, according to the report.
The company's shares have fallen 22% year to date.

Elon Musk took a dig at his robotaxi rival, Waymo, calling the vehicles "pet destroyers," and said Tesla Robotaxi has solved the issue of avoiding stray pets.
During a livestreamed interview at an event hosted by Tesla Owners of Silicon Valley on Saturday, Musk called out Waymo for its reported collisions with animals.
"What a lot of people don't know is that Waymos are like pet destroyers," Musk said, laughing. "Well, maybe Waymo's made some improvements on that front, but they do run over a lot of pets, and we don't want to run over pets."
Waymo has gotten flak over animal collisions before, most notably after its run-in with a beloved bodega cat in a San Francisco neighborhood back in October 2025. The feline, named KitKat, died after it was run over by Waymo's rear right tire, video obtained by The New York Times showed.
That is not Waymo's first collision with an animal.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Standing General Order requires autonomous vehicle companies like Waymo to report qualifying crashes. NHTSA data showed that between July 2025 and July 2026, Waymo reported at least 9 crashes involving animals, 6 of which Waymo described as domestic animals.
A Waymo spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment.
Tesla's robotaxi service also reported a collision involving an animal during the same time period, but the incident involved a supervised robotaxi. Tesla also operated a smaller fleet, and most of its unsupervised operations were concentrated in one city: Austin.
Musk said during the virtual interview that Tesla Robotaxi will be able to detect roaming pets at night.
"We have these challenges of literally like: gray kittens on a gray tarmac with tar seams at night in low visibility. And it's like, 'Can we not run over the kittens,' type of thing," he said.
Musk added that Tesla will deploy the update, though he did not specify when.

Let’s take a closer look at the ‘Cloud Computing’ theme and analyze a stock within, namely Microsoft (MSFT - Free Report) .
Cloud Computing Overview
Cloud computing refers to the on-demand seamless access of computing resources such as servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence over the Internet (the cloud) on a pay-per-use pricing model.
It marks a paradigm shift from traditional on-premises infrastructure storage to remote cloud-based storage facilities and relies heavily on virtualization and automation technologies. Instead of buying, owning, and maintaining physical data centers and servers, organizations access a virtual pool of shared resources from a cloud service provider on an as-needed basis.
This lowers operating costs, increases productivity with greater agility and flexibility, and improves scalability with higher economies of scale.
Microsoft Reassures Cloud Concerns
Microsoft posted strong results in its latest release, with sales up 18% YoY and earnings up 23% YoY. It delivered strong Cloud results, a key benchmark that has been watched closely amid the billions it’s been investing in AI infrastructure.
Microsoft’s Intelligent Cloud results include Azure, its cloud computing platform that provides AI computing power to businesses. Intelligent Cloud revenue came in at $39.3 billion, beating our consensus estimate handily and growing at an accelerated rate of 32% YoY.

Odhady předpokládají, že tržby AMD ze serverových CPU mohou v roce 2027 překročit 50 miliard USD, tažené silnou poptávkou po prémiových serverových procesorech.
SummaryAdvanced Micro Devices is experiencing explosive growth in both AI GPU and premium server CPU markets, now leading in high-end server CPUs. Recent forecasts project AMD's CPU server sales could exceed $50 billion in 2027, with consensus revenue and EPS estimates rising sharply. AMD's AI data center revenues are accelerating, driven by major deals with OpenAI, Meta, and Anthropic, supporting a path to $30+ EPS by at least 2028. With gross margin expansion to 60%, AMD could achieve $40+ EPS and a $1,200 stock price based on 2029 numbers, making shares attractive at current levels. Akcie společnosti Shopify během pondělní seance vzrostly téměř o 5 % poté, co analytici Cantor Fitzgerald zvýšili cílovou cenu ze 145 USD na 158 USD a ponechali neutrální doporučení.
One of the best and most immediate boosts for a stock is a meaty price target increase by an analyst. That was the case with Shopify (SHOP +4.90%) on Monday, as such a lift helped improve investor sentiment on the online commerce facilitator. Its share rose by almost 5% that trading session as a result.
A 9% bump The researcher responsible for that increase was Cantor Fitzgerald, which now believes Shopify can reach $158 per share. Previously, its fair value assessment was $145. Cantor Fitzgerald didn't become notably more bullish because of this, however, as it maintained its neutral recommendation on the stock.
The firm updated its take on Shopify in advance of the company's third-quarter earnings release, slated for Tuesday, Nov. 3. According to reports, it expects the company to notch convincing beats on gross merchandise volume (GMV) and revenue, with the latter's growth coming in at the low 30% range.
That optimistic outlook is tempered by concerns about Shopify's artificial intelligence (AI) inference costs, which might be considerable and squeeze the company's margins. Cantor Fitzgerald also cautioned about Shopify's tilt toward merchant solutions, which are less profitable as a whole than the company's subscription solutions.

Is it really good to be the king? To me (and many investors), Shopify is the undisputed king of online e-commerce facilitation. Its top line continues to expand impressively in a world where digital retailing isn't just a good idea, it's a necessity.
But there are downsides to the stock, and I feel that market players are right to be concerned. Profitability has been choppy, and valuations are very high for such bottom-line inconsistency. While the company surely has a prosperous future ahead, the stock looks pricey -- particularly after its recent surge.

Akcie společnosti Harmony Biosciences v pondělí klesly o více než 5 % poté, co firma oznámila, že Peter Anastasiou od 1. ledna 2027 nahradí Jeffreyho Dayna ve funkci generálního ředitele.
Harmony Biosciences (HRMY -5.09%) is getting a new leader, but investors aren't happy about it. On news of a major C-Suite change, they eagerly sold shares in the pharmaceutical company to leave it with more than a 5% loss on Monday.
New boss incoming
That morning, Harmony announced that its current COO and member of its board, Peter Anastasiou, is to become CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2027. In a planned succession, he will replace the healthcare company's current chief, Jeffrey Dayno, who will stay with Harmony in an advisory role throughout that year.

In the press release announcing the move, Harmony signaled a "steady as she goes" approach. The company stated that it will stick with its current strategic priorities, including further development of its molecule, pitolisant (approved by the Food and Drug Administration under the brand name Wakix for certain sleep disorders), and advancement of its pipeline.
In addition to detailing the CEO change, Harmony also reiterated its full-year net revenue guidance for Wakix. The drug should maintain its blockbuster status, with net revenue of $1 billion to $1.04 billion. The company added that its assumptions for hitting key commercial and pipeline milestones remain unchanged.

Rite of passage?
Personally, I'm not seeing much in that press release to be gloomy about.
That said, change can be hard for investors, particularly when an outgoing CEO has led a company to success -- as in the case of Dayno, who deserves significant credit in the development of Wakix (he was chief medical officer at the time). I'd probably take this opportunity to load up on the still high-potential Harmony at a discount.

When Space Exploration Technologies (SPCX +0.52%) went public in June, it was at a market cap of $1.75 trillion, immediately making it one of the 10 largest public companies in the world. The common read was that it was overvalued, with Morningstar valuing it at $780 billion.
Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood disagreed. She has invested heavily in SpaceX, and in a Sept. 16 post on X, she argued that the space company could be a deep-value opportunity at its IPO price.
The math behind Cathie Wood's valuation
Wood and Ark analyst Sam Korus have provided calculations showing why SpaceX is a deep value, based on Starlink's revenue potential. As of 2025, Starlink generated about $19 million in annual revenue per terabit per second (Tbps) of network capacity. Each Starship carrying 60 Starlink V3 satellites adds about 61 Tbps of capacity, meaning each launch could theoretically generate $1 billion in recurring annual revenue.
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has set a goal of 10,000 Starship launches per year by 2030. In her post on X, Wood explained that at $1 billion per launch, 10,000 flights would be $10 trillion in annual revenue.
Musk had a short reply: "It's not impossible." While that's true, Musk is known for setting extremely ambitious goals, and this one is worth a reality check.
Flaws in the argument
There are several issues with this $10 trillion revenue projection for SpaceX. The biggest: The space company is nowhere close to 10,000 Starship launches per year. The first Starship launch was in 2023, and to date, there have been 14 total, including nine successes and five failures. Even across SpaceX's fleetwide flights, the total is 165 launches in 2025 and 116 so far this year (as of Oct. 8).

SpaceX's launch cadence is impressive, as it accounts for about 80% of all U.S. orbital launches, according to recent research by The Motley Fool. But going from less than 10 Starship launches per year to 10,000 by 2030 doesn't seem realistic.
Wood's calculations also assume that every flight carries Starlink satellites and revenue per terabit holds, neither of which is likely. The 10,000-flight goal could include passenger transport, in which case it wouldn't be exclusively satellite payloads. Revenue per terabit is already declining, from $23 million in 2024 to $19 million in 2025.
SpaceX doesn't look like a deep-value stock
SpaceX was richly valued at its IPO price, and it has only gotten more expensive. With a market cap of $2.2 trillion, it trades at about 102 times trailing sales. For perspective, Nvidia has a trailing price-to-sales (P/S) ratio of 19, and even Palantir Technologies, which is anything but a value stock, is cheaper at 83 times sales.
Wood's valuation of SpaceX is based on an extremely optimistic scenario years in the future. Right now, SpaceX is highly volatile and trading at a multiple several times higher than most tech companies.
Before investing, it's worth considering the worst-case scenarios, such as multiple compressions during a bear market, just as thoroughly as the best-case scenario.
Netflix is planning what could be its largest round of layoffs in four years, according to media reports.
The job cuts are expected to impact 5% of the streaming giant’s workforce, with the announcement reportedly coming as soon as this week. Netflix reported 16,000 employees at the end of last year, meaning some 800 people could be laid off.
The rumored layoffs were first reported by Puck news and later confirmed by the Los Angeles Times and other outlets.
Netflix declined to comment.

Mass layoffs have been relatively rare at Netflix, though they have been a common story in the tech industry more broadly this year.
A recent analysis from outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas found that technology companies announced 165,925 job cuts from January through September 2026, a 54% increase over the same period in 2025.
Netflix last had a large round of layoffs in 2022, when it laid off 3% of its staff.
Bank of America očekává ve 3. čtvrtletí meziroční pokles poplatků z investičního bankovnictví o něco více než 10 % a stagnaci výnosů z obchodování; klíčový bude výhled čistého úrokového výnosu.
Bank of America (BAC +0.48%), the second-largest bank in the U.S. by assets, will report its third-quarter earnings results on Wednesday, Oct. 14, before the market opens. Management, led by CEO Brian Moynihan, will then host a live conference call with Wall Street analysts.
Banks had been benefiting from market rotation earlier this year, but have come under pressure more recently due to soaring bond yields, which increase funding costs and can weigh on loan growth and credit quality.
Banks, including Bank of America, are now widely underperforming the broader market this year. Is Bank of America stock a buy ahead of its third-quarter earnings report?
Likely will come down to Net Interest IncomeHeading into third-quarter results, Bank of America has lowered expectations for some of its businesses, including investment banking and trading.
At a conference in mid-September, Moynihan told analysts that investment banking fees could be down 10% year over year, while trading revenue may come in flat.
"What we're seeing is the market generally in investment banking is down 10%," said Moynihan, referencing data from Dealogic, according to CNBC. "We're not as well positioned in some of the businesses that have more activity, so we'll be down probably a bit more than that."
So this will likely put net interest income (NII) into focus. NII is the spread revenue that banks earn between what they pay on interest-bearing liabilities, such as deposits, and what they accrue on interest-earning assets, such as loans. It's a key revenue driver for most banks.
On the second-quarter earnings call, Bank of America's CFO Alastair Borthwick told analysts to expect full-year NII to be toward the upper end of its previous guidance of 6% to 8% annual growth.
Borthwick said that's based on modest loan and deposit growth and one rate hike in 2026. However, there's already been one rate hike, and there still could be another.

Bank of America is asset-sensitive, meaning NII should benefit in a rising-rate environment because assets will reprice faster than liabilities, especially its large, low-cost deposit base, which should see a more modest increase in deposit pricing.
Bank of America is known for having one of the strongest, if not the strongest, deposit bases from a funding perspective, meaning it tends to have a more stable, lower-cost deposit base than its peers.
How funding costs are impacted by soaring bond yields will be very important for Bank of America's NII guidance and how investors treat the stock.
Trying to make a call on a stock before any near-term event is difficult, as one can never know how the market will interpret an earnings report.
Given that management has set a lower bar for investment banking and trading, I think the focus will be on the NII guide. If the bank can maintain or even raise its guidance, then the stock should react well.
Investors will also be razor-focused on credit quality, which has been quite benign. Any significant deterioration could send the stock lower.
Long term, however, I would still rate Bank of America a buy ahead of earnings. The company still has significant scale in many different banking businesses that will be hard to replicate.
The sell-off over the past month has also brought down the valuation and made the stock more attractive in the long term.
General Motors chce v roce 2028 uvést systém řízení, který nebude vyžadovat sledování vozovky ani držení volantu, nejprve v elektrickém Cadillacu Escalade IQ.
General Motors CEO Mary Barra said the automaker is still on track to introduce "eyes-off, hands-off" driving technology by 2028, starting with the electric Cadillac Escalade IQ.After abandoning its Cruise robotaxi business, GM is focusing on autonomous technology for personal vehicles.General Motors CEO Mary Barra said Monday that the automaker remains on track to introduce "eyes-off, hands-off" driving technology by 2028.
GM announced last October that it plans to launch its next-generation driver-assistance system in the electric Cadillac Escalade IQ in 2028 before expanding to other models. Unlike the company's existing Super Cruise system, which allows drivers to take their hands off the wheel but requires them to remain attentive, the new technology is designed to let drivers take their eyes off the road under certain conditions.
Barra told CNBC's Jim Cramer on "Mad Money" that she recently tested the technology and was impressed by how much it had improved since an earlier ride in March. "They're making so much progress on our goal to have eyes off, hands off in the '28 time frame," the CEO said. "We're going to be well positioned from a personal autonomy perspective." She added, "When people want to drive, they can. When they don't, they won't need to as that grows."
GM's push into personal autonomous driving follows its decision to abandon its Cruise robotaxi business in December 2024 after spending more than $10 billion. Rather than compete in the increasingly crowded driverless ride-hailing market, the automaker redirected its resources toward developing autonomous systems for vehicles consumers own. "We're not in the taxi business. We're not in the bus business," Barra said.
She acknowledged that exiting the robotaxi market was difficult but defended the move, noting that GM retained much of the Cruise team to work on personal autonomous driving. "It was a tough decision, but I think it was the right decision," she said.
Barra also pushed back against the idea that widespread adoption of autonomous vehicles could eventually reduce the need for personal car ownership. She recalled earlier predictions that ride-hailing services such as Uber and Lyft would sharply reduce vehicle sales, something that never materialized because "people still value that it's in my driveway. I can go wherever I want, whenever I want."
Whitney Tilson považuje akcie McDonald’s za mírně podhodnocené: obchodují se za 17,6násobek očekávaného zisku v příštím roce, což je pod historickým průměrem 19,7násobku.
McDonald’s Corp (NYSE:MCD) stock has fallen to four-year lows. A former hedge fund manager says the valuation of the stock looks good at current levels and calls shares "undervalued." Here’s why.
• McDonald’s stock is trading near recent lows. What’s the outlook for MCD shares?
Sizing Up McDonald’s StockFormer hedge fund manager Whitney Tilson recently took a look at McDonald’s stock and compared the current valuation and thesis to when he looked at the stock back in June.
"With the stock down another 14% since then, might it now be an especially good buying opportunity?" Tilson asks in a newsletter.
Tilson highlights several strengths of McDonald’s, including boosted margins through franchising, free cash flow doubling since 2018 and strong shareholder returns through share buybacks and a 3%+ dividend yield.
"Over the past two decades, revenues have barely moved. But that’s mostly because McDonald’s has franchised many company-owned units, which reduces capital intensity and boosts profits."
McDonald’s growth has slowed in recent quarters, which may be contributing to the declining stock price. Tilson highlights global comparable sales being up 5.7% in the fourth quarter of 2025, up 3.8% in the first quarter of 2026 and up 1.3% in the second quarter of 2026. The market expert says this is what makes McDonald’s a "slow-growing cash cow."
"McDonald’s is an excellent business, with high margins and robust FCF."
Tilson doesn’t ignore the challenge of restaurant stocks from weight-loss drugs, but sees the valuation of McDonald’s stock too cheap to ignore.
"McDonald’s trades at 17.6 times consensus analysts’ estimates for next year. That’s slightly below its historical average price-to-earnings of 19.7 times over the past quarter century."
Tilson called McDonald’s stock fairly valued back in June. He reaches a different conclusion this time.
"Today, I think it’s moderately undervalued."

Tilson’s History with McDonald’s StockTilson previously owned McDonald’s stock in late 2002, a position that he admits he later "backed up the truck" for by adding more shares in early 2003 when they were under $13.
At one time in 2003, the stock was around 10% of Tilson’s hedge fund.
"It was the biggest win of my early investing career," Tilson said.
The investor recalls shares doubling two years after 2003.
In a five-year time period, Tilson watched McDonald’s shares go from under $13 to the mid-$60s.
He later sold the stock during the bear market in 2008, recalling that McDonald’s was one of only two stocks in the Dow Jones Industrial Average that were positive that year, with Walmart being the other.
Tilson said this ended up being a mistake.

McDonald’s stock hit $200 by 2019 and $300 by 2024, before peaking at $341.75 in March 2026.
Time will tell if Tilson is right about McDonald’s stock again, but the fact that shares trade at four-year lows does offer an interesting entry point for investors.
Akcie společnosti American Express od začátku roku do 8. října klesly o 18 %, přesto společnost potvrdila výhled zisku na akcii (EPS) pro rok 2026 ve výši 17,30 až 17,90 USD.
It's been a tough year for American Express (AXP +1.09%). Shares have fallen 18% in 2026 (as of Oct. 8). The overall market, on the other hand, has advanced 14% this year.
The financial stock currently sits at about $302 per share, which is only 4% above its 52-week low from March. That's also below the average price of $315.77 that the leadership team paid to repurchase 7.1 million shares during the second quarter.
Does this mean that American Express is a smart buying opportunity right now? Here's how investors should make sense of the situation.
The business buys back shares every quarter
During the three months that ended June 30, American Express spent $2.2. billion in total on stock buybacks. At the end of Q2, the diluted outstanding share count was 3% lower than a year ago. Investors appreciate this trend, as it provides a lift to earnings per share (EPS).
Now that the stock price is below what management paid, astute investors are wondering whether this is a valuable signal that it's time to add the premium credit card enterprise to their portfolios. The company's executive team should have a firm grasp of the intrinsic value. Repurchasing shares should be done at attractive stock prices. This suggests that shares could be even more undervalued today.
But it's important to take a step back and realize that American Express is a perennial share repurchaser. It bought back $1.7 billion worth of stock in the first quarter, after repurchasing $5.3 billion all of last year. During Q4 2025, when the shares reached a record high, the company still spent $899 million repurchasing shares.
The activity does fluctuate. In recent years, buybacks have been highest in the third quarter, with much less repurchasing happening in Q4. In Q3 last year, for instance, American Express spent $2.5 billion buying back stock at its then-all-time high. It's hard to make any definitive conclusions.

Think about the next five years
I believe investors should spend more time focusing their attention on what the future will bring. Think about American Express through the lens of a potential long-term investment. Although the stock is down 18% this year, the underlying business is still operating at full strength.
The company raised its quarterly dividend in March by 16%. And it maintained 2026 EPS guidance within a range of $17.30 to $17.90, equating to a 14% increase (at the midpoint) year over year. These are signs of a healthy business that's performing well amid an uncertain macroeconomic environment.
It might be a smart idea to buy the dip on American Express.

TSMC ve třetím čtvrtletí zvýšila tržby o 41 % na zhruba 46,7 miliardy USD, čímž díky poptávce po čipech pro AI překonala vlastní prognózu i očekávání analytiků.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSM -1.98%) is the company behind the world's most advanced semiconductors. The largest third-party chip manufacturer has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of booming artificial intelligence (AI) spending, and that doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
TSMC's September revenue release showed accelerating sales growth, with the third quarter coming in above management's guidance and analysts' expectations. Here's what's driving the revenue growth for TSMC and why it's my top AI chip stock to buy.
What's behind TSMC's rapid revenue growth? TSMC reports monthly sales figures in New Taiwan dollars (NTD) shortly after the end of each month. September sales reached NT512 billion, up 55% year over year. Total third-quarter sales reached NT1.49 trillion, up 51%. However, the New Taiwan dollar lost value relative to the U.S. dollar over the past year, inflating those growth rates. Still, at an exchange rate of 32 NTD to USD, that translates into revenue of about $46.7 billion in revenue for the quarter, up 41% from a year ago and accelerating from 34% growth in Q2.
That number tops both analysts' expectations and TSMC's own internal forecast for revenue between $44.6 billion and $45.8 billion. Management also expected gross margin to come in between 65% and 67% and operating margin between 56% and 58%. Both represent contractions from Q2 but remain close to record levels for the company. We'll have to wait until next week for TSMC to reveal the full earnings results.

There are several significant factors driving TSMC's revenue growth.
First and foremost is the robust demand for AI-related chips. As mentioned, chipmakers rely on TSMC's manufacturing technology to develop the world's most advanced chips, which has led to booming demand for the company.
Second, TSMC quickly ramped up its 2-nanometer (2nm) production process last quarter. The technology accounted for just 3% of revenue in Q2, but that should climb quickly. While that could result in some margin pressure on the business, TSMC is reportedly charging premium pricing for its newest production node, which should offset much of it. What's more, a faster ramp means tooling utilization increases faster, reducing pressure on margins.
Beyond 2nm, pricing is well above existing processes, and management reportedly increased pricing at the start of the year for most of its chips. It plans to continue raising prices every year through at least 2029, with expectations to raise prices 10% at the start of next year.
The last piece of the revenue growth formula is TSMC's massive capacity increases. TSMC has spent heavily on capital expenditure (capex) to meet the demand of AI chip designers that contract with it. That's enabled it to bring more capacity online, and it's actually accelerated its 2nm capacity build-out for 2026. It has plans to spend hundreds of billions on new facilities in Arizona, and it's also exploring building in Texas to diversify from the geopolitical risk of its Asian facilities.
What makes TSMC such a compelling investment is that it's built a wide moat that's enabled it to take market share from competitors despite already dominating the third-party chip manufacturing space. It's unlikely a company like Nvidia or Apple will be able to move a significant amount of work away from TSMC to negatively impact its growth at any point in the future. Nor is it likely they'll want to in the first place.
TSMC benefits from a virtuous cycle. As the world's largest chip fabricator, it generates a large amount of revenue relative to its peers. It can use that revenue to reinvest in research and development and additional capacity. That ensures its technology remains best in class, and it has the capacity to fulfill the growing number of orders from its chip design partners.
Importantly, TSMC is relatively agnostic about who designs the chips it makes. While Nvidia rules the roost today, it might not always be the biggest designer for AI chips. Custom silicon is growing in popularity among the hyperscalers. Regardless of who designs the chips, TSMC will be the company manufacturing them.
That gives me confidence in management's long-term revenue growth outlook of 25% average annualized sales growth between 2024 and 2029. Management is well ahead of that target, and CEO C.C. Wei suggested that number will increase once again when TSMC next updates its guidance.
With Taiwan Semiconductor stock trading for just 27 times earnings, it looks like a bargain. Revenue can grow in the mid-20s for a long time, and earnings growth should significantly outpace that level thanks to price increases protected by its wide moat.
Ithaca Holdings jedná o převzetí společnosti Bumble a jejím vyřazení z burzy za zhruba 1 miliardu USD. Tržby ve druhém čtvrtletí meziročně klesly o 15,2 % na 210,5 milionu USD.
The company is in advanced talks to go private through a newly formed investment firm for roughly $1 billion — a fraction of the more than $14 billion it was worth following its 2021 stock market debut.
Ithaca Holdings, founded by a Sequoia Capital partner and a former Meta executive, could strike a deal as soon as this week, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.
The negotiations could still fall apart, Bloomberg noted, citing a person familiar with the matter.
Bumble shares jumped about 50% Monday following news of the potential buyout, giving the company a market capitalization of roughly $580 million, up from $335 million at Friday’s close.

The potential buyout comes as Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd struggles to revive the dating platform amid declining revenue and a shrinking base of paying users.
Wolfe Herd, who co-founded Tinder before launching Bumble in 2014, is expected to remain involved with the company and roll over at least part of her ownership stake as part of the transaction, according to the Journal.
The 37-year-old entrepreneur returned as Bumble’s chief executive in March 2025, a little more than a year after stepping down.
Bumble reported second-quarter revenue of $210.5 million, down 15.2% from a year earlier, while its number of paying users plunged 16.4% to 3.2 million.

The company posted a quarterly net loss of $127.9 million and ended June with roughly $154 million in cash.
Bumble in August abandoned its signature requirement that women initiate conversations with male matches, allowing either person to send the first message as the dating app struggled to retain paying customers.
At rival Match Group, Hinge posted a 22% jump in second-quarter revenue, even as the company’s flagship dating app Tinder struggled to regain momentum.
Bumble laid off roughly 30% of its workforce last year, just months after Wolfe Herd returned as chief executive.
Bumble was exploring a possible sale as early as June, with Morgan Stanley advising the company on strategic alternatives, Reuters reported at the time.
A September 2025 Daily Mail investigation alleged that Wolfe Herd mistreated former Tinder colleagues and was physically abusive toward an ex-boyfriend — accusations she denied — while she acknowledged having used racial and homophobic slurs in the past.
Wolfe Herd returned as Bumble’s chief executive in 2025, months before the company laid off roughly 30% of its workforce. REUTERS
Wolfe Herd also came under fire last year from former Tinder executives who disputed her status as a co-founder of the dating app and accused her of exaggerating her contributions to its early success.
Tinder co-founder Jonathan Badeen and former communications executive Rosette Pambakian were among those who challenged her account ahead of the release of “Swiped,” a Hulu film starring Lily James as Wolfe Herd, Page Six reported in September 2025.
Her representatives have previously defended her co-founder title, while Wolfe Herd said she had no involvement in the film.
The Post has sought comment from Bumble and Ithaca.

Akcie společnosti Lumentum v pondělí klesly o 9,8 % poté, co šéf společnosti Broadcom vyjádřil pochybnosti o udržitelnosti a ziskovosti současných investic do umělé inteligence.
Shares of optical leader Lumentum (LITE -9.78%) sank on Monday, falling 9.8%.
Lumentum has been a key beneficiary of the AI build-out, as optical lasers are increasingly important for achieving the speeds required for AI training and inference. Last week, Lumentum CEO Michael Hurlston said in a Bloomberg interview that the company was "almost sold out" for 2029, sending shares to an all-time high.
However, concerns over the sustainability of the AI boom came to the fore over the weekend when another AI company CEO said many investors are treating it like a "casino."

Broadcom CEO Hock Tan curbs AI enthusiasm
Over the weekend, Broadcom (AVGO -1.88%) CEO Hock Tan spoke at an industry conference in Singapore. At that conference, he said many investors don't really know what they are investing in, and that they, "set very extreme expectations only to find out that it's almost like they are in a casino."
Tan went on to note that while leading AI companies, such as OpenAI, are generating significant revenue at the moment, it remains unclear whether they will have a sustainable, profitable business model that justifies the enormous amount of current AI spending. He noted that enterprises are using many AI tokens, but mostly in an experimental manner that isn't necessarily economical in the long run:
When you are a kid, you go to a video arcade and play. Your parents give you $10 of tokens, you finish it in 10 minutes and you haven't learned anything... That's what happening in enterprises today."
Those comments appeared to generate a big pullback in the main AI infrastructure stocks on Monday. Given that Lumentum has been one of the big winners, surging to all-time highs last week, it's no wonder its stock is down even more than other chip stocks today.
Lumentum's bull case remains as long as the AI story remains as well
Optical laser stocks have rallied so much this year because the network requirements of AI usage are spurring not only an increase in the number of data centers, and communications between those data centers, but also the replacement of copper wiring by optical connections within server racks and even servers themselves.
This compounding growth is why optical stocks remain attractive; however, this depends on the overall health and need for AI data centers. Hock Tan threw some cold water on the growth thesis over the weekend, but his statements were far from declaring the AI build-out a "bubble" that will inevitably burst. The bull case could remain intact, as long as end users eventually get value from the technology, and sustainable AI business models are developed.

Curaleaf zvýšil nabídku na převzetí společnosti Aurora Cannabis ze 4 USD na 5 USD za akcii. Akcie společnosti Aurora Cannabis od první nabídky vzrostly zhruba o 25 %.
There's nothing quite like talk of an acquisition that can send a stock soaring quickly. Aurora Cannabis (ACB -3.12%) stock has been flying recently, as it has benefited from the takeover attempt that Curaleaf Holdings (CURLF -1.49%) launched a few months ago.
In August, Curaleaf announced plans for a hostile takeover of Aurora, after expressing frustration with efforts to pursue a deal privately. Curaleaf is a large multistate operator and one of the largest cannabis companies in the U.S. market, while Aurora is a Canadian-based cannabis company with a growing presence internationally, which is the key attraction for Curaleaf.
Recently, Curaleaf raised its offer for Aurora, in the hopes of swaying shareholders. As a result of the recent offers, Aurora's stock has taken off, rising by around 25% since Curaleaf first announced plans to make a bid. Can it still rise higher, and is now a good time to buy Aurora's stock?
Curaleaf raises offer to $5Last week, Curaleaf announced it was going to raise the value of its offer for Aurora to $5. Previously, it had offered $4. Both offers are based on a mix of cash and stock.
Aurora released a press release, urging its shareholders not to take any action and that the company has a special committee which will thoroughly review the offer and provide shareholders with a formal recommendation. It also noted that shareholders won't have to make any decision until Dec. 4 or later, based on the offer's expiry date.
Previously, Aurora was adamant that the offer didn't reflect the company's value sufficiently. Now, however, the Board of Directors is taking the matter more seriously with a committee evaluating the bid.
There is the possibility that the offer ends up being rejected, at which point Curaleaf may raise its offer yet again, or perhaps walk away from the deal.
The last time Aurora's stock was trading at $5 or more was last December. But given the stock's 94% decline over the past five years, long-term investors may not be jumping at the chance to take the deal, particularly if they are hopeful of a better future ahead, with Aurora focusing on expanding into international cannabis markets.

Why I believe Aurora's stock will go higher before the end of the yearIn recent years, Aurora has simplified its business and become less reliant on the Canadian cannabis market and instead focused its efforts internationally. It's still an unprofitable company, and there's a ton of risk here. But with Curaleaf showing a great deal of interest in the business, it's a good sign to investors that there are some quality assets in its portfolio. Curaleaf could have gone for Tilray Brands or Canopy Growth, but it opted for Aurora instead.
I don't think Aurora investors will rush to take the $5 offer simply because the stock is already fairly low with a market cap of around $280 million. Meanwhile, I think the international business is compelling enough for Curaleaf that it will continue to bid higher.
Investors, however, should tread carefully because if that doesn't happen and Curaleaf withdraws its offer, then Aurora's stock could quickly sink back down.

Společnost Matson pokřtila kontejnerovou loď Makua, první ze tří nových plavidel v celkové hodnotě přibližně 1 miliardy USD. Má být dodána v prvním čtvrtletí roku 2027.
In the news release, MATSON CHRISTENS NEXT ALOHA CLASS VESSEL 'MAKUA', issued 12-Oct-2026 by Matson, Inc. over PR Newswire, we are advised by the company that changes have been made. The complete, corrected release follows, with additional details at the end:
MATSON CHRISTENS NEXT ALOHA CLASS VESSEL 'MAKUA'First of Three New Containerships Will Enter Service in 2027
, /PRNewswire/ -- Matson, Inc. (NYSE: MATX), a leading U.S. carrier in the Pacific, and Hanwha Philly Shipyard, Inc. (HPSI), a leading U.S. shipbuilder of ocean-going merchant vessels, christened the first of three new containerships being built for Matson's China-Long Beach Express (CLX) and Hawaii services in a ceremony at Hanwha Philly Shipyard (HPSI) on Saturday, October 10.
Christening of Matson containership 'Makua' at Hanwha Philly Shipyard, Oct. 10, 2026.
At the ceremony, Matson board member Jenai Wall officially christened the vessel 'Makua' by breaking a ceremonial bottle of champagne against the ship's hull before a gathering of approximately 300 attendees including U.S. Maritime Administration Deputy Administrator Mark Johnson, Matson and HPSI executives, shipyard workers and union leaders. Speakers included U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Deputy Commander Lt. General Jered P. Helwig.
Representing an investment of approximately $1 billion, Matson's three new Jones Act-compliant vessels are being built to match the size and speed of Matson's two existing Aloha Class ships, Daniel K. Inouye, and Kaimana Hila, which were also built by HPSI and set a new standard for cargo transportation in Hawaii when they entered service in 2018 and 2019, respectively, as the largest containerships ever constructed in the U.S.
Weighing in at over 51,400 metric tons, Matson's 850-foot long and 3,600-TEU*-capacity Aloha Class containerships are also Matson's fastest vessels, with a top speed of nearly 24 knots, helping ensure on-time deliveries in Hawaii and industry-leading transit times from Asia to the U.S. West Coast.
Like their sisterships, the new vessels will be equipped with dual fuel engines designed to operate on either conventional marine fuels or liquefied natural gas (LNG), as well as other "green ship technology" features, such as a fuel-efficient hull design, environmentally safe double hull fuel tanks, and freshwater ballast systems. While the earlier ships required some modification to operate with LNG, the new ships will be delivered LNG-ready.
The three new ships will replace three vessels currently deployed in Matson's Hawaii and CLX services. Makua is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2027; the second ship is scheduled to deliver in the third quarter of 2027, and the third is expected in the second quarter of 2028.
"We look forward to putting Makua to work serving our customers early next year," said Matt Cox, chairman and chief executive officer. "We're excited that adding three new Aloha Class ships to Matson's fleet over the next 18 months will improve operating efficiencies and reliability, and increase capacity in our core Hawaii service, as well as our China-Long Beach Express service. And we're proud that building them here supports hundreds of good-paying shipyard jobs and will provide more than 2,500 job opportunities for U.S. mariners over the lifespan of each ship."
HPSI is a leading U.S. commercial shipyard constructing vessels for operation in the domestic Jones Act trade lanes. Prior to Matson's first two Aloha Class ships, the shipyard delivered four newly built Jones Act containerships for Matson between 2003 and 2006.
"Today's christening of Makua is especially meaningful because Matson has been part of the story of this shipyard from its earliest days," said David Kim, CEO of HPSI. "Our partnership spans generations of vessels and reflects a shared commitment to American shipbuilding and the U.S. maritime industry. We are grateful for Matson's continued trust in our people, and incredibly proud of the skill and craftsmanship our workforce is bringing to Makua and the next generation of Aloha Class ships."
Matson plans to name the other two new containerships Malama and Makena. Founded in 1882 as a Hawaii-focused business, Matson has a long tradition of giving Hawaiian names to its vessels serving Hawaii, and also reusing vessel names from the early 20th century.
Matson's original ships named Makua, Malama, and Makena were all freighters commissioned by the United States Shipping Board (USSB), an emergency agency established by the 1916 Shipping Act to increase the number of U.S. ships supporting the war effort during World War I. They were purchased by Matson in the 1920s and remained active in the Matson fleet for the next two decades.
Makua ("mah-KOO-ah") is a Hawaiian word for parent, elder, ancestor, or family.
Malama ("MAH-lah-mah") is a Hawaiian word meaning to care for or protect.
Makena ("Mah-KEN-ah") is a Hawaiian word for abundance.
More information on Makua and Matson's fleet modernization program is available at www.Matson.com.

Faruqi & Faruqi is a leading national securities law firm with offices in New York, Pennsylvania, California and Georgia. The firm has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for investors since its founding in 1995. See www.faruqilaw.com.
As detailed below, the complaint alleges that the Company and its executives violated federal securities laws by making false and/or misleading statements and/or failing to disclose that the true state of Papa Johns' transformation; notably, that it was "taking longer than expected," and ultimately was unable to prevent further market share losses. Papa Johns ultimately required a significant shift in strategy toward a sharp increase in promotional efforts to abate the Company's declining competitive position.
On August 6, 2026, Papa Johns announced an 8.3% decrease in North American comparable sales, the suspension of its dividend, and a sharp reduction in its 2026 outlook from a 3% decline in North American comparable sales at the midpoint to a 7% annual decline. The Company attributed its strategic shift and guidance reset on the soft consumer trends and the execution of Papa Johns' own turnaround efforts, admitting they were unable to "meet the consumer as much as [they] should have," and the rebuilt innovation pipeline was "not bringing in as many new customers" as had been expected.
On this news, the price of Papa Johns' common stock declined dramatically. From a closing market price of $29.75 per share on August 5, 2026, Papa Johns' stock price fell to $24.64 per share on August 6, 2026, a decline of about 17.18% in the span of just a single day.

On August 6, 2026, Papa Johns issued its second quarter 2026 financial results, reporting an 8.3% decline in North American comparable sales. The Company also reduced its fiscal 2026 outlook, expecting “global system-wide sales to decline between 2% and 4% compared to last year and adjusted EBITDA between $180 million to $190 million,” and suspended its quarterly dividend. During the related conference call, CEO Todd Allan Penegor stated that “it’s clear that our transformation is taking longer than expected” and “we must execute better and move faster.”

The complaint filed in this class action alleges that between August 7, 2025 and August 5, 2026, Defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material adverse facts about the Company’s business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, Defendants failed to disclose to investors that: (1) Defendants created the false impression that they possessed reliable information pertaining to the effectiveness and ongoing impact of the Company’s strategic transformation as well as their resulting projected growth outlook for the North American region; (2) Defendants also minimized the risk of cautious consumer sentiment, competition woes, promotional seasonality, and more general macroeconomic fluctuation; (3) In truth, Papa Johns’ strategic transformation was taking considerably longer than the projections had suggested and the Company was simply ill equipped to “meet the consumer where they're at;” and (4) as a result, Defendants’ positive statements about the Company’s business, operations, and prospects were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.
If you purchased or otherwise acquired Papa John’s International, Inc. securities during the Class Period, you may move the Court no later than November 2, 2026 to request appointment as lead plaintiff in this putative class action lawsuit.

Akcie společnosti Joby Aviation za poslední měsíc klesly o 20 % na 5,14 USD; firma v tomto období nezveřejnila žádné oznámení, které by tento pokles vysvětlovalo.
Joby Aviation has shed a fifth of its value in a single month while the broader market climbed, and the reasons point to something bigger than one company's bad stretch. Here is what the numbers reveal about whether holders should…
Joby Aviation (NYSE:JOBY | JOBY Price Prediction) stock is down 20% over the past month to $5.14. This drop leaves shareholders mulling whether to stay with the electric air taxi developer.
Meanwhile, Archer Aviation (NYSE:ACHR) stock is down 16% over the past month to $4.61, representing a smaller decline than Joby stock’s. Additionally, EHang Holdings (NASDAQ:EH) stock is down 12% over the past month to $4.03, a lighter drop than Joby’s as well.
For a broader read, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSEARCA:SPY) is up 2% over the past month to $777.80. The ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF (BATS:ARKQ), which holds both Joby and Archer Aviation, is down 0.2% over the same stretch to $121.80. That split frames the question for Joby holders: the selling has concentrated in one narrow industry group while the broad market climbed.
Air Taxi Names Fell Together
All three electric air taxi stocks fell over the past month while the S&P 500 fund rose, a pattern that points to selling across one group of companies. Joby has issued no announcement in the past month that explains the decline. Its most recent major update came on its August 5 call covering the second quarter of 2026, when CFO Rodrigo Brumana reported revenue of $39 million, drawn primarily from the Blade passenger helicopter business, as the company raised its full-year sales guidance.
On the same call, Brumana said Joby ended the quarter with approximately $2.3 billion in cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments. Brumana also reported a net loss of $245 million under generally accepted accounting principles and guided to second-half cash use of $385 million to $415 million. Those results precede the past-month window, so they frame Joby’s finances without accounting for the recent selling.
What the Peer Group Says About Joby
Joby is building an electric aircraft that takes off vertically, and it needs regulatory certification before it can carry paying passengers, but until then, almost all of Joby’s current revenue comes from Blade, the conventional helicopter business it acquired.
Skeptics start with the spending guidance, which points to heavy outlays through the rest of the year while the revenue that matters still sits ahead of certification. A company funding a long timeline is exposed every time risk appetite contracts. JoeBen Bevirt, Joby’s founder and chief executive at the time of the call, acknowledged the execution challenge, stating, “As we’ve said before, manufacturing is hard.”
Supporters of Joby stock point to a cash position that’s large relative to the company’s size, and they also note that the helicopter business already produces revenue while the aircraft moves through certification. Brumana added that Joby can “stage a portion of that spend to match our progress, keeping our usual capital discipline.”
What to Watch Next
Joby’s next test is whether certification milestones arrive on the timetable management has described. Traders may want to check for whether second-half cash use lands inside the guided range. Either result could reset how the market prices Joby’s long timeline.
A stock tied to a certification calendar can swing sharply in both directions, and Joby’s past month shows the downside of that profile in plain terms. It makes sense to keep one’s positions modest enough that further volatility in the air taxi group wouldn’t force a rushed decision (we wrote a free guide on sizing speculative positions with rules that keep them from hurting, here: Small Stakes, Big Swings).

Additional Analyses from ACACIA-HCM Further Characterize Exercise Performance, Treatment Effect, Dose Titration and Safety of Aficamten in Non-Obstructive HCM
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Oct. 12, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cytokinetics, Incorporated (Nasdaq: CYTK) today announced that additional data from ACACIA-HCM (Assessment Comparing Aficamten to Placebo on Cardiac Endpoints In Adults with Non-Obstructive HCM) were presented at the Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA) Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 in Phoenix, AZ.
“These additional analyses from ACACIA-HCM add to the body of evidence supporting the overall benefit-risk profile of aficamten in patients with nHCM,” said Stephen Heitner, M.D., Cytokinetics’ Chief Medical Officer. “The current CPET analysis demonstrates significant improvement in a clinically relevant and novel metric of global exercise performance, while additional data provide insights into dose titration and reinforce our confidence in the safety and treatment effect of aficamten in nHCM. We plan to submit a supplemental New Drug Application to the FDA this quarter.”
ACACIA-HCM: Effect of Aficamten on Comprehensive Exercise Performance
Data from a prespecified analysis of comprehensive exercise performance from ACACIA-HCM were presented in a Late Breaking Clinical Trial Presentation. This analysis examined the effect of aficamten on multiple exercise parameters using the novel 2026 Boston Exercise Aggregate Physiologic Response Score (BEAP-RS). The score captures outputs from five individual domains, ranging from submaximal exercise through to recovery, and generates a composite of global exercise performance. At 36 weeks, treatment with aficamten significantly improved BEAP-RS compared to placebo (p<0.001), with improvements in individual exercise and recovery measures across all five domains. Improvement in BEAP-RS correlated significantly with improvements in health status measured by both Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire Clinical Summary Score (KCCQ-CSS) (p = 0.001) and New York Heart Association (NYHA) Functional Class (p = 0.001), as well as the cardiac biomarker NT-proBNP (p<0.001). This analysis provides a greater understanding of the complete impact of aficamten on exercise capacity in patients with non-obstructive HCM (nHCM).
ACACIA-HCM: Global Efficacy Responder Analysis
Data from a responder analysis of ACACIA-HCM evaluating the global efficacy of aficamten in patients with symptomatic nHCM were presented in a Late Breaking Clinical Trial Presentation. The results were published in Circulation in August 2026.1 The analysis assessed clinical improvements across five key domains. At 36 weeks, a greater proportion of patients treated with aficamten demonstrated a clinically meaningful response compared to placebo in all five domains, with statistically significant improvements in four domains: relief of limiting symptoms, decrease in left atrial volume index (LAVI), increase in septal e’ velocity and ≥50% reduction in NT-proBNP (all p<0.05). An increase in peak VO2 of at least 0.5 mL/kg/min was observed in 45% of patients on aficamten compared to 37% on placebo (p=0.1). Overall, 53% of patients on aficamten demonstrated a clinical response in three or more domains compared to only 13% of patients on placebo (p<0.001). These data place the primary results into clinical context and underscore the opportunity to impact several aspects of disease burden by addressing the underlying pathobiology in patients living with symptomatic nHCM.
ACACIA-HCM: Dose Titration and Safety
Data related to dose titration and the safety profile of aficamten in ACACIA-HCM were also presented. At the end of the titration period, 80.7% of patients were on 15 or 20 mg. Dose titration led to predictable, dose-proportional changes in plasma concentration of aficamten and reductions in left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), which then remained stable from Week 8 through Week 36. LVEF <50% occurred in 27 (10.5%) patients taking aficamten and in two (0.8%) patients taking placebo. The only patient characteristics associated with LVEF <50% were lower baseline LVEF and permanent atrial fibrillation. As previously reported, two participants on aficamten experienced a serious adverse event (SAE) of heart failure associated with LVEF <50%. Ten additional patients on aficamten had SAEs of heart failure not associated with LVEF <50%, for a total of 12 patients (4.7%) compared to three patients (1.2%) on placebo. All heart failure events in patients treated with aficamten occurred during dose titration or prior to Week 12, often following a precipitating event such as rapid atrial fibrillation or infection, and responded to typical medical therapy such as diuretics. Overall, these data suggest that, in ACACIA-HCM, titration of aficamten to the maximum tolerated dose based on LVEF alone was generally well tolerated in the great majority of patients with nHCM.
About MYQORZO® (aficamten)
MYQORZO® (aficamten) is a cardiac myosin inhibitor approved in the U.S., China, European Union and United Kingdom for the treatment of symptomatic obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM). In patients with oHCM, myosin inhibition with MYQORZO reduces cardiac contractility and consequently, left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) obstruction. MYQORZO was engineered to achieve a predictable exposure response, rapid onset of action and reversibility.2
Aficamten was also evaluated in a pivotal Phase 3 clinical trial, ACACIA-HCM, in patients with non-obstructive HCM (nHCM), which met both dual primary endpoints, demonstrating statistically significant improvements in both dual primary endpoints of Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire Clinical Summary Score (KCCQ-CSS) and maximal exercise performance (pVO2). Statistically significant improvements compared to placebo were also observed in key secondary endpoints. There were no new safety signals identified. Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) <50% occurred in 10% of participants taking aficamten and in 1% of participants taking placebo. Overall, 12 (4.7 %) patients on aficamten had serious adverse events of heart failure compared to three patients (1.2%) on placebo.
Aficamten is also under clinical investigation in CEDAR-HCM in a pediatric population with oHCM. Safety and efficacy of aficamten have not been established in a pediatric patient population. In addition, aficamten is being studied in FOREST-HCM, an open-label extension clinical study.
INDICATION
MYQORZO is indicated for the treatment of adults with symptomatic obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM) to improve functional capacity and symptoms.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
WARNING: RISK OF HEART FAILUREMYQORZO reduces left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and can cause heart failure due to systolic dysfunction.Echocardiogram assessments are required prior to and during treatment with MYQORZO to monitor for systolic dysfunction. Initiation of MYQORZO in patients with LVEF <55% is not recommended. Decrease the dose of MYQORZO if LVEF is <50% and ≥40%. Interrupt the dose of MYQORZO if LVEF <40% or if the patient experiences heart failure symptoms or worsening clinical status due to systolic dysfunction.
Because of the risk of heart failure due to systolic dysfunction, MYQORZO is available only through a restricted program under a Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) called the MYQORZO REMS Program.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
MYQORZO is contraindicated with concomitant use of rifampin.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Heart Failure
MYQORZO reduces cardiac contractility, which can reduce LVEF and cause heart failure.
Patients who experience a serious intercurrent illness (eg, serious infection) or arrhythmia (eg, new or uncontrolled atrial fibrillation) may be at greater risk of developing systolic dysfunction and heart failure.
Assess patients’ clinical status and LVEF prior to and during treatment and adjust the MYQORZO dose accordingly. New or worsening arrhythmia, dyspnea, chest pain, fatigue, leg edema, or elevations in N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide may be signs and symptoms of heart failure.
Initiation of MYQORZO in patients with LVEF <55% is not recommended.
MYQORZO REMS Program
MYQORZO is available only through a restricted program called the MYQORZO REMS Program, because of the risk of heart failure due to systolic dysfunction.
Notable requirements of the MYQORZO REMS Program include:
Prescribers must be certified by enrolling in the MYQORZO REMS ProgramPatients must enroll in the MYQORZO REMS Program and comply with ongoing monitoring requirementsPharmacies must be certified by enrolling in the MYQORZO REMS Program and must only dispense to patients who are authorized to receive MYQORZOWholesalers and distributors must only distribute to certified pharmacies Further information is available at www.MYQORZOREMS.com, or at 1-844-285-7367.
Cytochrome P450 Interactions Leading to Heart Failure or Loss of Effectiveness
MYQORZO is metabolized primarily by CYP2C9, and to a lesser extent by CYP3A, CYP2D6, and CYP2C19 enzymes. Initiation of medications that inhibit multiple P450 pathways of MYQORZO elimination (eg, fluconazole, voriconazole, or fluvoxamine) or strong CYP2C9 inhibitors, and discontinuation of moderate-to-strong CYP3A inducers may lead to increased blood concentrations of aficamten and increase the risk of heart failure due to systolic dysfunction. Conversely, initiation of medications that induce P450 pathways of MYQORZO (eg, rifampin, moderate-to-strong CYP3A inducers) may lead to decreased blood concentrations of aficamten and potential loss of effectiveness. Assess LVEF 2 to 8 weeks after initiation of such inhibitors or after discontinuation of such inducers and adjust the dose of MYQORZO accordingly.
Advise patients of the potential for drug interactions. Advise patients to inform their healthcare provider of all concomitant medications prior to and during MYQORZO treatment.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Hypertension (8% vs 2%) was the only adverse reaction occurring in >5% of patients and more commonly on MYQORZO than on placebo in the pivotal trial.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE
MYQORZO is indicated for the treatment of adults with symptomatic obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM) to improve functional capacity and symptoms.
Please see full Prescribing Information approved in the U.S., including Boxed WARNING.

About Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a disease in which the heart muscle becomes abnormally thick. HCM can be obstructive, when thickened muscle blocks blood flow, or non-obstructive, when blood flow is not blocked but heart function is still affected. In obstructive HCM, the thickening of cardiac muscle leads to the inside of the left ventricle becoming smaller, stiffer and less able to relax and fill with blood. Ultimately, HCM limits the heart’s pumping function, leading to reduced exercise capacity and a variety of symptoms.
HCM is the most common monogenic inherited cardiovascular disorder, affecting approximately 1 out of 350 individuals worldwide.3
Approximately half of patients with HCM have obstructive HCM (oHCM) and half have non-obstructive HCM (nHCM).4
People with HCM are at high risk of also developing cardiovascular complications including atrial fibrillation, stroke and mitral valve disease.5 People with HCM are at risk for potentially fatal ventricular arrhythmias and it is one of the leading causes of sudden cardiac death in younger people or athletes.6 A subset of patients with HCM are at high risk of progressive disease leading to dilated cardiomyopathy and heart failure necessitating cardiac transplantation.

Capri’s adjusted fiscal 2027 outlook anticipates approximately $635 million in Jimmy Choo revenues and a low-single-digit operating margin. Continued product innovation and deeper consumer engagement remain central to turning the brand’s regional momentum into sustained profitable growth.

Akcie SanDisk v pondělí klesly o 5,7 %, přestože Goldman Sachs vidí příležitost v pamětech HBF pro AI; její ziskovost však závisí na cenách, výrobní výtěžnosti a schválení ze strany zákazníků.
Sandisk, the flash-memory supplier SNDK , faces a profitability test behind its AI-memory opportunity, with shares down 5.7% to $1,491.35 at 12:41 p.m. ET on Monday. Investing.com's October 12 report outlined Goldman Sachs' bullish case for high-bandwidth flash, or HBF. The opportunity is clear. The harder question is how much profit Sandisk can squeeze from the factory capacity needed to deliver it.
Sandisk and SK hynix released an Open Compute Project technical specification on August 3, with Google and Tenstorrent contributing to validation and standardization. The framework supports AI systems that place more memory near computing cores and allows HBF to work alongside high-bandwidth memory. That gives designers a foundation to build on. It does not guarantee orders. The GF Score of 45/100 shows strong growth and financial-strength readings alongside weaker profitability, suggesting investors should look beyond the growth story.
According to Investing.com, Goldman's optimistic scenario puts HBF at 9% of global NAND wafer capacity but just 4% of bit shipments by late 2028. Those shares imply a 2.25-to-one ratio of capacity share to shipment share. My take: heavier wafer consumption could tighten supply and support pricing, but it also raises the bar for returns. Sandisk still needs customer approvals, reliable manufacturing yields and prices that reward the capacity consumed. Technical progress opens the door. Profitable orders make the investment case.

SpaceX (NASDAQ:SPCX) has a rocket big enough to carry a space station. The insurance market isn’t built to cover one.
Andrew Bonwick, VP of Product Development at Relm, told Benzinga that coverage for one launch tops out far below the value of a full Starship load.
“As things stand, the maximum insurance capacity in the market today is around $650 million for any one launch,” Bonwick said. “A 100T payload will be much more valuable than this.”
SPCX stock is moving. See the chart and price action here. A Station Worth BillionsVoyager Technologies Inc. (NYSE:VOYG) is the clearest test case. Its Starlab station is designed to launch on a single Starship flight. Voyager estimates Starlab will cost $2.8 billion to $3.3 billion to design, build and launch.
Its annual report expects a 2029 launch.
At that cost, $650 million would cover only about 20% to 23% of the station. The filing itself warns that “the insurance market for the launch and operation of a non-governmentally owned, crewed space station does not currently exist.”
Bonwick says outside capital could help. “For much bigger payloads, such as one Starlab worth several billion dollars, alternative markets, insurance-linked securities and derivatives could be used to top up coverage,” he said.

Amazon deaktivoval prodejní účet společnosti Bed Scrunchie těsně před svátky v roce 2024. Její tržby v roce 2024 dosáhly přibližně 4,5 milionu USD. Amazon však stále představuje odhadem 70–80 % prodejů značky.

This entrepreneur says Amazon nearly destroyed his business. He still shops on it every week. 'It's crazy.' By and Jessica Orwig You're currently following this author! Click to unsubscribe from email alerts.
Jack Nekhala has every reason to stop shopping on Amazon.
His company, Bed Scrunchie, generated about $4.5 million in 2024 and was on track for more, Nekhala said. However, Amazon deactivated its seller account just before the holidays that year, cutting off its biggest sales channel.
"Once the collapse happened through Amazon, it basically collapsed the entire business," Nekhala told Business Insider for our So Expensive video series.
That makes his next admission harder to say.
"I still shop on Amazon," Nekhala said. "I have a daughter. She needs bikes. She needs a scooter, she needs all sorts, she needs different things. And that's the place we go to."
He said he shops on Amazon two to three times a week and sometimes has several orders in a single day.
The habit bothers him more than he can explain, he said. "Continuing to shop there feels like being forced to sit down to dinner with the institution that upended your life."
Founders of the Bed Scrunchie: Jack Nekhala (left) and Michael Nusinkis (right). Courtesy of Jack The account shutdown, he said, left him and his business partner carrying debt and trying to rebuild the financial security they had spent nearly 20 years creating for their young families. "My life has not been the same," he said.
For Nekhala, his Amazon shopping habit reflects how deeply the online marketplace has become embedded in everyday life. In a recent survey of shoppers across the US and Europe, 75% of consumers said they buy from Amazon at least once a month.
"I do not shop there because I have forgiven what happened. I shop there because Amazon has made itself so convenient and embedded in everyday life that even people who feel harmed by it continue to depend on it," Nekhala said.
"It's crazy," he added of his own shopping habits. "It's really incredible what they've accomplished."
Amazon became the default
Business Insider The appeal of Amazon isn't just price. It's the convenience, Nekhala said.
Amazon already has his payment information, shipping addresses, and purchase history. Adding one more item to an order is often easier than creating an account somewhere else, he said.
"They remove all the friction," Michael Nusinkis, Nekhala's business partner, said.
"I think you just have this muscle memory. I need to buy something — Amazon," Nusinkis added.
The founders saw that same behavior from their own customers.
Before Amazon deactivated their seller account, the pair aired a national television infomercial directing viewers to a website where they could buy the Bed Scrunchie directly for $39.99.
On Amazon, the product sold for $44.95. And they said Amazon sales of the item consistently spiked whenever the infomercial aired.
"All advertising roads lead back to Amazon," Nekhala said.
Nekhala said customers would likely discover the product on television or the company's website, then go to Amazon to compare options, read reviews, and buy it—even at a higher price.
Surveys suggest up to three-quarters of Amazon shoppers start their product searches there.
Even after losing their account, the business couldn't leave Amazon
The bed scrunchie is designed to prevent sheets and mattress toppers from sliding off a mattress. Business Insider After months of disputes with Amazon, including allegations that the company had infringed its own patent and violated Amazon's review policies, Nekhala and Nusinkis lost their seller account. The founders dispute both allegations.
They now sell Bed Scrunchie to a third-party distributor, which keeps it available on Amazon for $49.99. Nekhala estimates that Amazon still accounts for 70% to 80% of the company's sales.
That means shoppers may see the Bed Scrunchie name on Amazon without realizing they are buying from a reseller—not the small business that created it, he said.
"Amazon shut out the people who invented and built the product, yet the product remains on its platform at a higher price," Nekhala added. "That contradiction is what makes continuing to shop there so painful."
Nekhala said the company would rather sell the product for less on its own website. But he believes Amazon's pricing policies make that difficult: Listing it more cheaply elsewhere, he said, could mean the product loses visibility or prominent placement on Amazon.
As a result, he said, sellers keep prices in line across retailers, even when it means customers pay more.
That's one of the practices at the center of a lawsuit California's attorney general filed against Amazon, alleging it pressures brands and third-party sellers to raise prices at competing retailers so Amazon isn't undercut.
In a statement to Business Insider, Amazon says its goal is to protect customers from overpaying and maintain trust in its marketplace by comparing prices with other reputable retailers. If a product is listed for less elsewhere, Amazon says it may choose not to prominently feature that offer, though it remains available for purchase. Amazon also argues California's case relies on a handful of emails taken out of context and says the challenged practices are common retail negotiations designed to deliver "low prices, vast selection, and unmatched convenience" for customers.

Společnost Tilray ve fiskálním prvním čtvrtletí spálila 16,5 mil. USD v hotovosti oproti 1,3 mil. USD před rokem, zatímco tržby z konopí meziročně klesly o 13 % na 56,1 mil. USD.
Last week, Tilray Brands (TLRY -5.08%) reported its first-quarter numbers for fiscal 2027. While management boasted of its record-breaking numbers and diversified business, investors shouldn't buy the hype at all.
Tilray has been a bad investment for many years, and acquisitions may have boosted its revenue, but they haven't changed the story around this troubling marijuana stock. It's a bad buy, and the three numbers below from its earnings report only confirm that.
Tilray's cash burn spiked to more than $16.5 millionI've written about cannabis stocks for years and know how unreliable looking at their income statements can be; they're often filled with impairment charges and valuation changes. There's a lot of noise that can make it difficult for investors to truly understand what shape the business is in. This is why I often go straight to the cash flow statement instead.
And on a cash basis, things don't look good for Tilray. Its cash burn for the period ending Aug. 31 totaled $16.5 million, which is up significantly from $1.3 million a year ago. Cash can fluctuate significantly from one period to the next. But the reality is that Tilray has often struggled to generate consistent positive cash flow from its operations. This is even before factoring in any money it uses up from investing activities, including capital expenditures.
Tilray is a cash-burning machine, and until that changes, investors should brace for and expect stock offerings, dilution, and plenty of volatility.
Its cannabis revenue fell by 13%Tilray's cannabis revenue for the period totaled $56.1 million, which was down from $64.5 million a year ago, representing a year-over-year decline of 13%. The company's top line did rise by 23%, but that was largely due to a significant spike in its beverage business, where its BrewDog acquisition padded its numbers.
Wheeling and dealing can help manufacture this type of growth, but it's organic growth that growth investors are truly craving. Simply adding more companies to the mix can certainly make the business bigger, but not necessarily better.
Investors should tread carefully with acquisition-hungry businesses such as Tilray for this very reason, because without a way to gauge how well it's growing organically, it's difficult to see just how strong a growth stock it really is.
The fact that its core cannabis business is struggling highlights precisely why Tilray would seek investments and acquisitions elsewhere: without them, its top line wouldn't look nearly as strong.
Operating expenses soared to $101.6 millionAcquisitions can bolster the top line, but they can also drastically weigh down the bottom line. That's because a company acquires the extra staff, overhead, and other costs associated with the business. So while it may get a bump up on the top line from more revenue, it will also incur significantly more expenses. It may be able to trim some costs and remove redundancies over time, but the business will no doubt be bulkier.
Tilray's operating expenses totaled $101.6 million this past quarter, which is an increase of 83% from the same period last year. That is, however, with the company getting a $15 million benefit from the change in the fair value of contingent consideration a year ago. If that's removed, then the year-over-year increase in operating expense is 44%. But that's still higher than the company's top-line growth.
With a more bloated business, Tilray's actually going in the opposite direction of its peers, Canopy Growth and Aurora Cannabis, which have been looking to get leaner. It's not a strategy I think will end up paying off for Tilray.

Tilray's decline isn't likely to end anytime soonDespite top-line growth, the market didn't appear impressed with Tilray's latest numbers, as the stock has fallen since it posted them. Unfortunately, I don't see a path for the stock to get out of its tailspin anytime soon. It's a stock that's full of risk and that investors are likely better off avoiding.
The S&P 500 (^GSPC -0.06%) has had a great year so far. The average annual return of the S&P 500 is about 10%, and with it sitting at about 14.5% right now, it has been a good year. There are still a few months left, so the chances of it ending up even higher are quite good.
While the S&P 500 as a whole is doing well, a few individual performers stand out. Sandisk holds the title for best-performing S&P 500 stock this year, rising about 590% in 2026. Intel is another top performer, increasing nearly 200% so far this year. There are a handful of companies that also have had strong runs, including AMD.
So, which stock will lead the S&P 500 higher next year? I think it will be a familiar face, and it won't be one of these three.
Some stocks have gotten ahead of themselves With the returns some stocks are delivering this year, it's pretty easy to guess that next year may not be as kind to these stocks. Many companies have far outgrown their business results and are trading at inflated valuations, such as Intel and AMD. These two trade for 70 and 81 times forward earnings, respectively. This showcases just how expensive they are. Others, like Sandisk, operate in a cyclical market, and the stock market is wary of giving it a standard valuation due to fears of the memory chip industry seeing a cyclical downturn.

Regardless, there are a handful of stocks that were abandoned to pave the way for these to rise, and the most obvious one is Nvidia (NVDA -1.29%). Nvidia led the S&P 500 in performance during 2023 and 2024, and I think it has a strong shot at leading it again in 2027. Why? Its stock has been ignored compared to some of its peers.
Nvidia is dirt cheap compared to its peers It's hard to say that the largest company in the world by market cap isn't getting a fair shake, but that's exactly what's happening. As mentioned above, AMD trades at over 80 times forward earnings. Nvidia trades at 25.
AMD PE Ratio (Forward) data by YCharts
These two companies operate in the same industry (namely, graphics processing units, or GPUs), and Nvidia is growing its data center business (the segment most exposed to artificial intelligence (AI)) at a faster pace. In Q2, Nvidia's data center division grew at a 117% pace to $89 billion. AMD's data center division grew at a 107% pace to $6.7 billion. Nvidia is still winning, and there's no reason to give AMD a ridiculous premium as a result.
Another factor is that the market hasn't priced in practically any of 2027's growth into Nvidia's stock price. The S&P 500 trades for about 20 times forward earnings. The slight premium Nvidia now commands is worth it given its positioning in the AI boom and strong track record of performance. However, Nvidia is also expected to grow its revenue by 70% next year. But Nvidia's current 25 times forward earnings valuation implies that its stock will grow at a market-average pace next year (about 10%).

That's a major mismatch, and I think it suggests Nvidia is poised for an exceptional year and could lead the S&P 500 in performance. While there could be others that sneak up on investors and outperform Nvidia, Nvidia is one of the few companies that has given investors high visibility into its future growth. Management has undergirded nearly every step along the way, so this 70% growth could also be a major undershoot.
With Nvidia expected to grow revenue by 70% or more next year, I think it's a no-brainer buy right now.
TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 12, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Navitas Semiconductor (Nasdaq: NVTS), a leader in next-generation power semiconductors and power delivery solutions, pioneering GaN, high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage SiC, and IVR technologies, today announced its latest 24 kW, 800 V-to-12 V DC-DC power delivery board (PDB), powered by GaNFast™ technology and developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, to support the NVIDIA MGX ecosystem and advance 800 VDC power architectures for AI data centers. The new PDB is planned to be featured on NVIDIA’s AI Factory MGX Wall partner display area at OCP Global Summit 2026.
This latest 24 kW, 800 V-to-12 V PDB extends Navitas’ portfolio of 800 VDC AI data-center platforms, building on the previously announced 20 kW, 800 V-to-6 V PDB developed in collaboration with NVIDIA. These solutions advance the core strategic focus of the Navitas 2.0 transformation to accelerate the replacement of legacy silicon with next-generation GaN and SiC high-power technologies across AI infrastructure, from Grid-to-xPU.
The PDB is capable of delivering 24 kW with a target efficiency of 97% at full load and a power density exceeding 2,000 W/in³, providing power for the entire compute tray. Designed in NVIDIA’s latest 400 mm × 60 mm form factor, the PDB can be integrated onto the compute motherboard as close as possible to the xPUs, minimizing power-delivery losses and supporting high-power demands.
The single-stage architecture converts 800 VDC directly to 12 VDC, eliminating the existing 50 V-to-12 V IBC conversion stage and delivering 12 V directly to the voltage regulator module (VRM) that powers the xPU. This simplified power architecture improves system efficiency and reliability while reducing power losses, board space and overall power-delivery complexity.
The power architecture incorporates 16 × NV6034 (650 V, 18 mΩ) GaNFast™ FETs on the primary side, configured in a stacked half-bridge topology and featuring Navitas’ latest dual-cooled DFN 8 × 8 package.
“The next era of AI will be defined not only by how much compute we can create but by our ability to deliver the power needed to unleash its full potential,” said Chris Allexandre, President and CEO of Navitas. “Our collaboration with NVIDIA is breaking the AI infrastructure power wall by reimagining power delivery from 800 VDC to the GPU. This next-generation 24 kW solution demonstrates how GaNFast™ technology can eliminate power-conversion stages, increase efficiency and power density, and bring power closer to the GPU.”
Navitas’ portfolio of 800 VDC AI data-center platforms provides customers with greater flexibility to select the optimal intermediate-bus voltage and VRM architecture for their point-of-load power requirements.
The 800 V-to-12 V PDB is planned to be showcased at the NVIDIA AI Factory MGX Wall partner display area at OCP Global Summit 2026. For more information, please contact your Navitas representative or email [email protected].

New prespecified analyses showed consistent findings across clinically important and difficult to treat subgroups, including patients with prior biologic exposure Findings build on first positive results where TREMFYA achieved combined fistula remission rates of up to 28% across dosing groups Results come from the first dedicated Phase 3 randomized, placebo-controlled trial in adults managing Crohn's disease with perianal fistula in more than 20 years , /PRNewswire/ -- Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) today announced new Phase 3 data showing consistent combined fistula remission outcomes with TREMFYA® (guselkumab) across clinically important subgroups of adults with Crohn's disease with perianal fistula.1 The prespecified subgroup analyses from the FUZION study are being presented at the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting and build on previously reported Week 24 results from the overall study population.
In the overall study population, 28% of patients receiving TREMFYA 100 mg q8w and 27% receiving TREMFYA 200 mg q4w achieved the composite endpoint of combined fistula remissiona at Week 24, compared with 10% receiving placebo, making TREMFYA the only IL-23 inhibitor to demonstrate efficacy in a dedicated, randomized, placebo-controlled trial in patients with Crohn's disease with perianal fistula.1
New subgroup analyses show consistent outcomes across key patient subgroups
Expanding on previously reported results in the overall population, new prespecified subgroup analyses showed greater Week 24 combined fistula remission with TREMFYA versus placebo among:1
Patients with greater luminal disease activity at baseline (CDAI ≥220): 30% and 21% with TREMFYA 100 mg SC q8w and 200 mg SC q4w, respectively, versus 0% with placebo Patients with prior biologic exposure: 21% and 29%, respectively, versus 5% with placebo Patients with proctitis at baseline: 26% and 27%, respectively, versus 12% with placebo Patients without proctitis at baseline: 29% and 27%, respectively, versus 10% with placebo Adverse events were consistent with the known safety profile of TREMFYA in Crohn's disease.1
"Perianal fistula remain one of the most debilitating manifestations of moderate to severe Crohn's disease and many patients continue to experience persistent drainage, pain and complications," said Bruce Sands, MD, MS, Dr. Burrill B. Crohn Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine, and Chief, Division of the Dr. Henry D. Janowitz Division of Gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Health System. "These subgroup analyses show that the outcomes observed with TREMFYA were consistent across clinically important patient populations, further strengthening the evidence supporting its use in this difficult to treat patient population."
Addressing an important need in Crohn's disease
Perianal fistula affects nearly 25% of patients with Crohn's disease and is a severe, often debilitating manifestation associated with pain, persistent drainage, recurrent abscesses and a frequent need for surgical intervention.2 3 FUZION is a dedicated randomized, placebo-controlled Phase 3 study designed to evaluate TREMFYA in adults with Crohn's disease with perianal fistula.
"Johnson & Johnson has a longstanding commitment to advancing the science of inflammatory bowel disease, including for patients living with some of its most complex manifestations," said David M. Lee, M.D., Ph.D., Global Immunology Therapeutic Area Head, Johnson & Johnson. "FUZION was designed to generate rigorous evidence specifically in Crohn's disease with perianal fistula, helping us deepen our understanding of how TREMFYA can address an area of unmet need."
TREMFYA is the only approved dual-acting monoclonal antibody in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that blocks IL-23 while also binding to CD64, a receptor on cells that produce IL-23. IL-23 is a cytokine secreted by activated monocyte/macrophages and dendritic cells that is known to be a driver of immune-mediated diseases including UC. Findings are based on in vitro studies.45678

a. Combined fistula remission was defined as complete closure of all external fistula openings with no drainage, without development of new fistulas, and absence of underlying fluid collections on MRI.
About the FUZION study (NCT05347095)
FUZION is a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, multicenter, Phase 3 study designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of TREMFYA in adults with Crohn's disease with perianal fistula. Patients enrolled in the study had one or more active draining perianal fistulas confirmed by blinded central MRI review, CD Activity Index [CDAI] <350, and inadequate response to oral corticosteroids, azathioprine, 6-mercaptopurine, methotrexate, or up to 2 advanced therapy classes. Patients were randomized 2:2:1 to receive TREMFYA 200 mg intravenous (IV) induction at Weeks 0, 4, 8 weeks followed by TREMFYA 100 mg subcutaneous (SC) induction every 8 weeks (q8w); or TREMFYA 200 mg IV infusion in at Weeks 0, 4, 8 weeks followed by TREMFYA 200 mg SC every 4 weeks (q4w); or placebo.9
About Crohn's disease
Crohn's disease is one of the two main forms of inflammatory bowel disease, which affects an estimated three million Americans and an estimated four million people across Europe.1011 Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract with no known cause, but the disease is associated with abnormalities of the immune system that could be triggered by a genetic predisposition, diet, or other environmental factors.12 Symptoms of Crohn's disease can vary, but often include abdominal pain and tenderness, frequent diarrhea, rectal bleeding, weight loss, and fever. Some patients may also develop fistulas, abnormal connections between the intestine and other organs or tissues, which can be associated with pain, drainage, infection, and substantial impairment in quality of life. Currently no cure is available for Crohn's disease.13

Společnost Johnson & Johnson uvedla, že ve studiích GALAXI 2 a GALAXI 3 dosáhlo po třech letech klinické remise až 94 % pacientů s Crohnovou nemocí léčených přípravkem TREMFYA.
New long-term data showed clinical remission rates of up to 94% and endoscopic remission rates of up to 61% in adults with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease
88% of patients achieved 90-day corticosteroid-free clinical remission
, /PRNewswire/ -- Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) today announced new three-year data from the Phase 3 GALAXI 2 and 3 studies showing durable efficacy and a consistent safety profile for TREMFYA® (guselkumab) in adults with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease.1 The Week 144 long-term extension (LTE) results being presented at the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting reveal long-term clinical and endoscopic outcomes across both TREMFYA maintenance regimens in this chronic disease.
Clinical and endoscopic outcomes sustained through three years with TREMFYA
Patients in the GALAXI 2 and 3 studies received intravenous induction followed by one of two TREMFYA maintenance dosing regimens: 100 mg administered subcutaneously every eight weeks (q8w) or 200 mg administered subcutaneously every four weeks (q4w). At Week 144 the LTE data show:1a
94% of patients receiving TREMFYA 100 mg q8w and 91% receiving TREMFYA 200 mg q4w achieved clinical remission.b
88% of patients receiving TREMFYA 100 mg q8w and 88% receiving TREMFYA 200 mg q4w achieved 90-day corticosteroid-free clinical remission, respectively.
52% of patients receiving TREMFYA 100 mg q8w and 61% receiving TREMFYA 200 mg q4w achieved endoscopic remission.c
74% of TREMFYA-treated patients remained on treatment through three years.
Safety findings through Week 144 were consistent with the well-established safety profile of TREMFYA in Crohn's disease.1
"In a chronic, lifelong disease, the ability to sustain clinical and endoscopic outcomes through three years is particularly meaningful for patients," said David Rubin, MD, Director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center at the University of Chicago.d "These results contribute to the growing body of evidence that TREMFYA can provide patients with deep and sustained remission over time, creating a strong foundation for long-term disease management."
Long-term disease control is an important need in Crohn's disease management
As Crohn's disease is a lifelong disease with no cure, patients and physicians need treatments that can provide sustained control of symptoms and intestinal inflammation over time. These results represent one of the most comprehensive three-year datasets in Crohn's disease reported to date, demonstrating durable clinical, corticosteroid-free and endoscopic remission across both TREMFYA maintenance regimens.
"Johnson & Johnson has built deep expertise in immune-mediated diseases including inflammatory bowel disease, and our research is designed to answer questions that arise over the course of this chronic condition," said David M. Lee, M.D., Ph.D., Global Immunology Therapeutic Area Head, Johnson & Johnson. "The clinical and endoscopic remission observed with TREMFYA through three years reinforces our commitment to generating long-term evidence that can help physicians make informed treatment decisions for people living with Crohn's disease."

About the GALAXI program (NCT03466411)
GALAXI is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, active-controlled (ustekinumab), global, multicenter Phase 2/3 program designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of TREMFYA in participants with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease with inadequate response/intolerance to conventional therapies (corticosteroids or immunomodulators) and/or biologics (TNF antagonists or vedolizumab). GALAXI includes a Phase 2 dose-ranging study (GALAXI 1) and two independent, identically designed confirmatory Phase 3 studies (GALAXI 2 and 3). Each GALAXI study employed a treat-through design and includes a long-term extension period that will assess clinical, endoscopic, and safety outcomes with TREMFYA treatment through a total of five years. Patients received TREMFYA 200 mg intravenous induction at Weeks 0, 4 and 8 followed by TREMFYA 200 mg subcutaneous maintenance every 4 weeks; or TREMFYA 200 mg intravenous induction at Weeks 0, 4 and 8, followed by TREMFYA7

Disney's new tech chief said in a memo to employees that he "won't pretend it will be easy" to win in the changing media environment.
Karandeep Anand, the Mouse House's first-ever companywide CTO, was hired by CEO Josh D'Amaro to lead Disney's tech transformation. He started in early October. Under D'Amaro, Disney is investing in tech to better compete with Netflix and YouTube in streaming.
Anand previously ran Character.AI, an AI startup that Disney sent a cease-and-desist letter to last fall. (Disney told Character.AI not to make chatbots from its copyrighted characters without permission, and the startup complied.)
Anand told staffers on Friday afternoon that the media business is "at an inflection point," adding that he's confident Disney has a strong hand thanks to its deep, iconic content library and a passionate fan base.
"With our rich IP and global fan community, I strongly believe we are uniquely positioned to win," Anand said in his memo, which was obtained by Business Insider.
The new tech chief said that winning in this highly competitive media landscape "will take focus, speed, and the willingness to say no to good ideas so we can say yes to great ones."
Anand also said he's "admired Disney for as long as I can remember" and said he had constructive conversations in his first full week inside the Mouse House.
"What stands out most is the talent and care this team puts into its work, the craft Disney has perfected, and the strong foundation you've built," Anand said.
Disney has leaned into tech this year by embracing AI and further unifying Disney+ and Hulu — the first step in building a streaming super app that includes games and merchandise.
Anand highlighted the same three top priorities that D'Amaro listed in the memo announcing his hire: great storytelling as our North Star, technology in service of creativity, and operating as One Disney.
D'Amaro is contending with Disney's listless stock price. Shares have fallen more than 1% in the past year, compared to a 17.3% gain for the S&P 500, and are down over 38% in the past five years, while US stocks broadly have risen more than 74%.

Team,As I close out my first week at Disney, thank you for the warm welcome you gave me and the colleagues who joined me.I've admired Disney for as long as I can remember, so walking the lot, attending the Tech Showcase, and meeting so many of you has been an unforgettable start. What stands out most is the talent and care this team puts into its work, the craft Disney has perfected, and the strong foundation you've built. It's only been a few days, but I'm more excited than when I accepted this job. Josh has laid out three priorities: great storytelling as our North Star, technology in service of creativity, and operating as One Disney. Our job in technology is to make those real, and the possibilities are enormous. We're at an inflection point in the tech and media industry, and with our rich IP and global fan community, I strongly believe we are uniquely positioned to win.I won't pretend it will be easy. It will take focus, speed, and the willingness to say no to good ideas so we can say yes to great ones. I'll be direct with you about priorities and tradeoffs as I learn them. But I'm confident we can get there, and do it quickly.Over the coming weeks I'll be meeting with teams across the company, and I look forward to sharing how I'm thinking about our priorities soon. Until then, please keep doing the great work you're doing.Thank you again. I'm glad and privileged to be on this team.Karan

GE Aerospace, Shield AI a WZL-2 podepsaly memorandum o porozumění, které prověří možnosti údržby, oprav a generálních oprav motorů F110 pro autonomní letoun X-BAT v Polsku; očekávané tržby nezveřejnily.
The next frontier of artificial intelligence may not be another data center, but a fighter aircraft that can operate without a runway. GE Aerospace (NYSE:GE) is positioning its engine technology alongside Shield AI’s autonomous aircraft ambitions, creating a potential new defense opportunity as militaries explore ways to deploy AI-powered airpower beyond traditional infrastructure.
• GE Aerospace stock is holding steady today. What’s the outlook for GE shares?
GE Enters the Autonomous Fighter PushOn Oct. 12, GE Aerospace, Shield AI and Poland’s Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 (WZL-2) signed a memorandum of understanding to explore maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities in Poland for GE’s F110 engine powering Shield AI’s X-BAT aircraft.
The announcement covers the engine and its Axisymmetric Vectoring Exhaust Nozzle, which enables thrust vectoring for vertical takeoff and landing. The companies will assess the facilities, equipment and training needed to establish local maintenance capabilities.
X-BAT is designed to take off and land vertically, potentially allowing it to operate from roads, ships and smaller sites instead of conventional runways. That flexibility could matter on NATO’s eastern flank, where airfields could be vulnerable during a conflict.
Shield AI brings the autonomous flight technology; GE supplies the propulsion system and engine-support expertise. GE is not developing the aircraft’s AI pilot, but its technology is part of the physical infrastructure needed to make the aircraft operational.

The AI Opportunity Beyond Data CentersFor GE investors, the potential opportunity lies in the hardware and services behind autonomous systems. AI-enabled aircraft still require propulsion, specialized components, repairs and maintenance — areas where established aerospace suppliers could benefit if new platforms progress from development to deployment.
GE’s F110 engine has accumulated more than 11 million flight hours over four decades of continuous production and improvement, according to the company. Its experience gives GE an established role in the program, while the thrust-vectoring nozzle is designed to support X-BAT’s vertical flight capability.
The partnership also builds on a September letter of intent involving Shield AI, Poland’s state-owned defense group PGZ and WZL-2 to explore X-BAT design, production and delivery in Poland. The latest agreement extends that ambition to potential in-country engine support.
What It Means for GE StockThe distinction between strategic positioning and financial impact remains important. The memorandum is an agreement to explore maintenance capabilities, not a confirmed engine order or a guarantee that a Polish facility will be established. The companies have not disclosed expected revenue from the arrangement.
For GE, the opportunity depends on X-BAT advancing toward deployment and generating demand for engines, repairs and long-term sustainment. Investors should watch for firm contracts, production milestones and evidence that the program can translate into incremental business.
Investment takeaway: Shield AI is giving GE Aerospace a potential role in the infrastructure behind autonomous warfare, extending its exposure to AI beyond the data center boom. But until the partnership produces firm orders or measurable revenue, it remains a strategic opportunity rather than a material earnings catalyst.

The latest quote sits approximately 1.2% below Stephen Rusckowski's disclosed September entry. Summary
Insider buying supplies conviction, but Oracle’s infrastructure returns still require operating evidence.
Oracle ORCL, the enterprise-software and AI-cloud provider, trades at $137.745, down about 2.6% at 12.34pm EST on October 12 and roughly 1.2% below a director's recent purchase price. A nearly $3.5 million insider investment adds conviction to the story. It does not settle the bigger question: how much cash Oracle's AI infrastructure push will ultimately generate.
An October 1 SEC filing shows that director Stephen Rusckowski's living trust bought 25,000 shares on September 29 at a weighted average of $139.352. That works out to $3,483,800 based on the reported average. Barron's describes the transaction as his first open-market purchase since joining Oracle's board. The valuation snapshot places shares 29.51% below the $195.40 GF Value estimate, suggesting potential upside if the business delivers on those expectations.
That discount deserves attention. So does the execution risk. A director's purchase offers a vote of confidence, while a valuation estimate offers a benchmark; neither guarantees a return. Investors still need to watch infrastructure utilization, customer payments and the cash earned against the money spent building capacity. Oracle's next test is turning AI demand into durable cash flow.

The 10-year U.S. Treasury note rarely looks this appealing. Its yield reached 5.22% on Oct. 8, according to Federal Reserve data, the highest reading since March 2002. Costco Wholesale (COST +1.32%) offers a forward dividend yield of 0.6%.
Put $10,000 into each, and the Treasury hands you payouts of about $520 a year while Costco sends you around $60. Why bother?
But income is only one piece of an investment's return, and for long-term investors, it's often a small part.

The hot dog doesn't get bigger Like Costco's famous hot dog and soda combo (still $1.50 after 41 years), Treasury coupons have a fixed value. A 10-year note's coupon rate is locked for 10 years. The interest you receive in 2036 will match next spring's payment to the penny, even after a decade of inflation.
Hold to maturity, and you get your original $10,000 back; it'll just buy less stuff than it does today. The coupon payouts you receive along the way will help, assuming the rate you locked in remains ahead of average inflation.
Rate changes only matter if you sell your Treasuries before maturity. No one will pay full price for your note if new Treasuries offer better rates, but your note will gain value when rates go down.
But Costco's dividend has grown 13.2% per year over the last five years. The company also has a habit of surprising shareholders with special dividends, such as the $15-per-share dividend it paid in January 2024. That one-time payment was roughly equivalent to 15 of the regular quarterly payouts at the time.
The business behind the stock Stocks let you own a small piece of an actual business. People work hard to increase the corporation's value, which over time lifts the stock price. No empire lasts forever, but Costco's story started decades ago, and it's still a market-beating growth stock.
Costco generated $303.2 billion in sales over the past 12 months, up 10.1% year over year. Earnings per share rose 13.9% over the same period. The company keeps markups low, with a gross margin of just 12.8%, and earns a large share of its operating profit from membership fees.
As a result, $10,000 invested in Costco stock 10 years ago would be worth $63,340 today. With reinvested dividends, you're looking at $74,980 instead:
COST data by YCharts
10-year Treasury notes yielded about 1.8% in October 2016. A $10,000 investment would pay out $11,800 in total over the same decade. That's your original $10,000 plus $1,800 in coupon payouts. Treasuries bought today will pay out roughly $5,200 over the next 10 years (plus the $10,000 return of principal), but that's still a forgettable gain next to Costco's long-term returns.
The catch Costco's stock isn't cheap, exposing investors to valuation risk. It trades at 46 times trailing earnings and 38.2 times forward estimates, which is a rich price for a company expected to grow earnings about 9.7% annually.
The stock gained just 2.8% over the past year, trailing the Treasury's yield, and sits 12.8% below its 52-week high as of Oct. 12.

Pick your cart If you need reliable income soon, the Treasury is a fine choice at 5.2%. But if you don't need the money for the next 10 years, Costco offers a few things that the Treasury note can't: a business that keeps growing, a dividend that keeps rising, and a long record of turning patient money into a much bigger pile.
Morgan Stanley označila eBay za svůj hlavní tip, zvýšila cílovou cenu akcií na 132 USD a očekává, že živé prodeje budou představovat více než 40 % růstu společnosti.
Morgan Stanley sees live selling driving more than 40% of eBay's growth Summary
Morgan Stanley named eBay a top pick, raised its target to $132 from $127 and kept Overweight, citing live selling as an underappreciated growth engine.
eBay EBAY rose 3.50% as of 1:00 p.m. ET after Morgan Stanley named it a top pick and raised its price target to $132 from $127, keeping an Overweight rating. Analyst Nathan Feather said eBay's acceleration in gross merchandise volume had come as a surprise, and argued that live selling is a bigger growth engine than the Street has appreciated.
Morgan Stanley estimated that live selling could account for more than 40% of eBay's growth, and forecast compound annual growth of about 22% for that business through 2030. The call builds on what eBay reported in August. Second-quarter GMV rose 15% on an as-reported basis to $22.4 billion, and GMV on eBay Live grew roughly eightfold year over year across its seven markets.
On the other hand, Wells Fargo cut its target to $91 from $92 and kept an Underweight rating, warning that investment in live selling and competition could weigh on earnings growth.
