Here's Why Autodesk (ADSK) is a Strong Growth Stock
ADSK AutoDesk
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals for new and old investors, and Zacks Premium offers many different ways to do both.

Featuring daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, full access to the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens, the research service can help you become a smarter, more self-assured investor.

Zacks Premium also includes the Zacks Style Scores.

What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores, developed alongside the Zacks Rank, are complementary indicators that rate stocks based on three widely-followed investing methodologies; they also help investors pick stocks with the best chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.

Each stock is assigned a rating of A, B, C, D, or F based on their value, growth, and momentum characteristics. Just like in school, an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on -- that means the better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform.

The Style Scores are broken down into four categories:

Value ScoreValue investors love finding good stocks at good prices, especially before the broader market catches on to a stock's true value. Utilizing ratios like P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, Price/Cash Flow, and many other multiples, the Value Style Score identifies the most attractive and most discounted stocks.

Growth ScoreGrowth investors are more concerned with a stock's future prospects, and the overall financial health and strength of a company. Thus, the Growth Style Score analyzes characteristics like projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow to find stocks that will see sustainable growth over time.

Momentum ScoreMomentum trading is all about taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook, and these investors live by the saying "the trend is your friend." The Momentum Style Score can pinpoint good times to build a position in a stock, using factors like one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates.

VGM ScoreWhat if you like to use all three types of investing? The VGM Score is a combination of all Style Scores, making it one of the most comprehensive indicators to use with the Zacks Rank. It rates each stock on their combined weighted styles, which helps narrow down the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum.

How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank A proprietary stock-rating model, the Zacks Rank utilizes the power of earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings outlook, to help investors create a successful portfolio.

Investors can count on the Zacks Rank's success, with #1 (Strong Buy) stocks producing an unmatched +23.94% average annual return since 1988, more than double the S&P 500's performance. But the model rates a large number of stocks, and there are over 200 companies with a Strong Buy rank, plus another 600 with a #2 (Buy) rank, on any given day.

With more than 800 top-rated stocks to choose from, it can certainly feel overwhelming to pick the ones that are right for you and your investing journey.

That's where the Style Scores come in.

To maximize your returns, you want to buy stocks with the highest probability of success. This means picking stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B. If you find yourself looking at stocks with a #3 (Hold) rank, make sure they have Scores of A or B as well to ensure as much upside potential as possible.

As mentioned above, the Scores are designed to work with the Zacks Rank, so any change to a company's earnings outlook should be a deciding factor when picking which stocks to buy.

A stock with a #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell) rating, for instance, even one with Scores of A and B, will still have a declining earnings forecast, and a greater chance its share price will fall too.

Thus, the more stocks you own with a #1 or #2 Rank and Scores of A or B, the better.

Stock to Watch: Autodesk (ADSK - Free Report) San Francisco, CA-based Autodesk develops model-based design, engineering and documentation software. The company serves customers in architecture, engineering and construction; product design and manufacturing; and digital media and entertainment industries.

ADSK is a #3 (Hold) on the Zacks Rank, with a VGM Score of B.

Additionally, the company could be a top pick for growth investors. ADSK has a Growth Style Score of A, forecasting year-over-year earnings growth of 20.6% for the current fiscal year.

For fiscal 2027, 10 analysts revised their earnings estimate upwards in the last 60 days, and the Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.21 to $12.58 per share. ADSK boasts an average earnings surprise of +7.1%.

With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Growth and VGM Style Scores, ADSK should be on investors' short list.

Is It Worth Investing in Strategy (MSTR) Based on Wall Street's Bullish Views?
MSTR Strategy
FMP Stock News
Original source text
When deciding whether to buy, sell, or hold a stock, investors often rely on analyst recommendations. Media reports about rating changes by these brokerage-firm-employed (or sell-side) analysts often influence a stock's price, but are they really important?

Before we discuss the reliability of brokerage recommendations and how to use them to your advantage, let's see what these Wall Street heavyweights think about Strategy (MSTR - Free Report) .

Strategy currently has an average brokerage recommendation (ABR) of 1.28, on a scale of 1 to 5 (Strong Buy to Strong Sell), calculated based on the actual recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell, etc.) made by 18 brokerage firms. An ABR of 1.28 approximates between Strong Buy and Buy.

Of the 18 recommendations that derive the current ABR, 15 are Strong Buy and one is Buy. Strong Buy and Buy respectively account for 83.3% and 5.6% of all recommendations.

Brokerage Recommendation Trends for MSTR

Check price target & stock forecast for Strategy here>>>

The ABR suggests buying Strategy, but making an investment decision solely on the basis of this information might not be a good idea. According to several studies, brokerage recommendations have little to no success guiding investors to choose stocks with the most potential for price appreciation.

Are you wondering why? The vested interest of brokerage firms in a stock they cover often results in a strong positive bias of their analysts in rating it. Our research shows that for every "Strong Sell" recommendation, brokerage firms assign five "Strong Buy" recommendations.

In other words, their interests aren't always aligned with retail investors, rarely indicating where the price of a stock could actually be heading. Therefore, the best use of this information could be validating your own research or an indicator that has proven to be highly successful in predicting a stock's price movement.

Zacks Rank, our proprietary stock rating tool with an impressive externally audited track record, categorizes stocks into five groups, ranging from Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) to Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell), and is an effective indicator of a stock's price performance in the near future. Therefore, using the ABR to validate the Zacks Rank could be an efficient way of making a profitable investment decision.

ABR Should Not Be Confused With Zacks RankIn spite of the fact that Zacks Rank and ABR both appear on a scale from 1 to 5, they are two completely different measures.

Broker recommendations are the sole basis for calculating the ABR, which is typically displayed in decimals (such as 1.28). The Zacks Rank, on the other hand, is a quantitative model designed to harness the power of earnings estimate revisions. It is displayed in whole numbers -- 1 to 5.

Analysts employed by brokerage firms have been and continue to be overly optimistic with their recommendations. Since the ratings issued by these analysts are more favorable than their research would support because of the vested interest of their employers, they mislead investors far more often than they guide.

On the other hand, earnings estimate revisions are at the core of the Zacks Rank. And empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.

Furthermore, the different grades of the Zacks Rank are applied proportionately across all stocks for which brokerage analysts provide earnings estimates for the current year. In other words, at all times, this tool maintains a balance among the five ranks it assigns.

Another key difference between the ABR and Zacks Rank is freshness. The ABR is not necessarily up-to-date when you look at it. But, since brokerage analysts keep revising their earnings estimates to account for a company's changing business trends, and their actions get reflected in the Zacks Rank quickly enough, it is always timely in indicating future price movements.

Is MSTR Worth Investing In?In terms of earnings estimate revisions for Strategy, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has remained unchanged over the past month at $116.7.

Analysts' steady views regarding the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by an unchanged consensus estimate, could be a legitimate reason for the stock to perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for Strategy. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>>

It may therefore be prudent to be a little cautious with the Buy-equivalent ABR for Strategy.

8.87% Preferred Share From Annaly Capital Is A Hold Worth Watching
NLY Annaly Capital Management
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Berk Ucak/iStock via Getty Images

When it comes to mortgage REITs, Annaly Capital Management's (NLY) common stock usually gets the most attention. That makes sense. It's the largest mortgage REIT in the market. However, the common shares aren't always the best way to invest in a mortgage REIT. In fact, they are one of the worst for very conservative investors.

Mortgage REIT common stocks can produce excellent returns when purchased at attractive valuations. Those valuations should be based primarily on book value.

For investors who aren’t into trading and want a safer dividend or are just looking for income, preferred shares often provide a much better balance between risk and reward.

Today, NLY-F (NLY.PR.F) remains one of the more attractively priced preferred shares from NLY.

The REIT Forum

NLY-F is a fixed-to-floating preferred share. Some preferred shares pay the same coupon indefinitely. NLY-F floats based on short-term interest rates plus a fixed spread.

The REIT Forum

NLY-F’s spread of 4.993% is the highest of any Annaly preferred share. That feature has been great for investors over the last several years. As short-term rates moved higher, the dividend rate on NLY-F increased. While investors should expect some changes in future payments as interest rates change, the current dividend remains attractive relative to many other options in the market. The floating-rate structure also helps mitigate inflation risk and rising rates, which can erode the value of preferred shares that only pay a fixed rate.

Why Preferred Shares? One major advantage of preferred shares is that they sit above the common stock dividend in the capital structure. Before any dividend can be paid to common shareholders, preferred dividends must be paid in full.

While this doesn’t eliminate risk, it does provide a layer of protection that common shareholders simply do not have.

Strong Coverage When evaluating preferred shares, one of the metrics we keep an eye on is the common-equity-to-preferred-equity ratio. The concept is straightforward. The larger the common equity relative to the preferred shares, the more protection preferred shareholders have if conditions deteriorate, generally speaking.

Annaly preferred shares continue to maintain one of the strongest coverage ratios in the mortgage REIT sector. The company has a substantial amount of common equity supporting its preferred shares. When using this ratio, we use the call value of the preferred share, which is $25. We would not use the current market value of the preferred share.

Coverage ratios are never a guarantee against risk, but they remain one of the more useful metrics for comparing preferred share risk across the sector.

The Main Risk The biggest risk for NLY-F is not credit risk. It is called risk.

Because NLY-F carries a relatively high dividend rate, management could eventually decide that they want to call shares and replace them with a lower cost of capital. Investors should watch the annualized yield-to-call metric, as it indicates how much they stand to lose if the company calls the shares. When a preferred share trades above its call value, the possibility of redemption becomes a bigger risk for the investor.

The primary reason we view NLY-F as a hold instead of a buy is that NLY could decide to call the shares with only 30 days' notice. Investors may decide that they are willing to take on that risk and purchase shares anyway. Investors who are already holding shares may continue to hold them. We just want investors to be aware of the biggest risk when it comes to NLY-F.

Other NLY Preferred Shares Annaly has several other preferred shares outstanding. In our view, NLY-F and NLY-I (NLY.PR.I) are currently the most attractive. Both the F and I series are so similar that this article could easily work for both with a few minor adjustments. However, this article is about NLY-F. We compare all of Annaly's preferred shares before deciding if we want to make a purchase rather than focusing on a single preferred share in isolation.

Final Thoughts We continue to view Annaly as one of the strongest names in the mortgage REIT sector. That doesn’t mean we believe it is currently a good investment at recent prices. For investors looking for dependable income and lower volatility than the common shares, preferred shares remain a very compelling potential buy. If NLY-F were to drop slightly in price, we would consider buying shares.

NLY-F offers a combination of a high dividend, strong coverage, and is backed by the biggest mortgage REIT in the sector. Call risk deserves attention, but NLY-F remains one of the best opportunities in the sector for income-focused investors when pricing is favorable.

As always, valuation drives our decisions. We don’t buy securities simply because we like the company. We believe it is important to wait for prices that adequately compensate us for the risks we are taking on. We will act when the market gives us the opportunity.

Chubb Limited (CB) Is a Trending Stock: Facts to Know Before Betting on It
CB Chubb
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Chubb (CB - Free Report) is one of the stocks most watched by Zacks.com visitors lately. So, it might be a good idea to review some of the factors that might affect the near-term performance of the stock.

Shares of this insurer have returned +10.5% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +1.6% change. The Zacks Insurance - Property and Casualty industry, to which Chubb belongs, has gained 5.3% over this period. Now the key question is: Where could the stock be headed in the near term?

Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.

Earnings Estimate RevisionsRather than focusing on anything else, we at Zacks prioritize evaluating the change in a company's earnings projection. This is because we believe the fair value for its stock is determined by the present value of its future stream of earnings.

Our analysis is essentially based on how sell-side analysts covering the stock are revising their earnings estimates to take the latest business trends into account. When earnings estimates for a company go up, the fair value for its stock goes up as well. And when a stock's fair value is higher than its current market price, investors tend to buy the stock, resulting in its price moving upward. Because of this, empirical studies indicate a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and short-term stock price movements.

For the current quarter, Chubb is expected to post earnings of $6.58 per share, indicating a change of +7.2% from the year-ago quarter. The Zacks Consensus Estimate has changed -0.3% over the last 30 days.

For the current fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $26.77 points to a change of +8% from the prior year. Over the last 30 days, this estimate has changed -0.1%.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $28.79 indicates a change of +7.5% from what Chubb is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed -0.3%.

With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool -- the Zacks Rank -- is a more conclusive indicator of a stock's near-term price performance, as it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for Chubb.

The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:

12 Month EPS

Revenue Growth ForecastWhile earnings growth is arguably the most superior indicator of a company's financial health, nothing happens as such if a business isn't able to grow its revenues. After all, it's nearly impossible for a company to increase its earnings for an extended period without increasing its revenues. So, it's important to know a company's potential revenue growth.

For Chubb, the consensus sales estimate for the current quarter of $15.89 billion indicates a year-over-year change of +7.3%. For the current and next fiscal years, $64.36 billion and $67.38 billion estimates indicate +7.3% and +4.7% changes, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryChubb reported revenues of $15.3 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +11.9%. EPS of $6.82 for the same period compares with $3.68 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $14.85 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +2.97%. The EPS surprise was +5.25%.

The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters. The company topped consensus revenue estimates three times over this period.

ValuationWithout considering a stock's valuation, no investment decision can be efficient. In predicting a stock's future price performance, it's crucial to determine whether its current price correctly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects.

While comparing the current values of a company's valuation multiples, such as price-to-earnings (P/E), price-to-sales (P/S), and price-to-cash flow (P/CF), with its own historical values helps determine whether its stock is fairly valued, overvalued, or undervalued, comparing the company relative to its peers on these parameters gives a good sense of the reasonability of the stock's price.

The Zacks Value Style Score (part of the Zacks Style Scores system), which pays close attention to both traditional and unconventional valuation metrics to grade stocks from A to F (an A is better than a B; a B is better than a C; and so on), is pretty helpful in identifying whether a stock is overvalued, rightly valued, or temporarily undervalued.

Chubb is graded B on this front, indicating that it is trading at a discount to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

Bottom LineThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Chubb. However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

Plug Power stock sinks even as turnaround story builds, short interest hits 27.4%
PLUG Plug Power
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Plug Power stock extended its sharp sell-off this week, falling to its lowest level since April 2. The shares have plunged 45% from their highest level this year and have slipped below the 200-day moving average, while short interest remains elevated despite the company's ongoing turnaround efforts.

Plug Power, a top player in the hydrogen energy industry, has been in a rollercoaster this year. It initially jumped to a multi-month high of $4.32 in May as investors cheered its turnaround efforts, and then erased most of those gains, and the situation is worsening.

The ongoing sell-off has coincided with the rising short interest. Benzinga data shows that its short interest jumped to 27.4%, a sign that many investors still expect it to continue falling in the near future.

The company has made some major changes this year, with the management suggesting that it has a path towards profitability in the future. It has also made some customer wins in the past few months. For example, it secured a new 50 MW electrolyzer order from Australia, which is being developed by Orica, a top player in the mining and infrastructure solutions.

Before that, the company completed the commissioning of 5 MW electrolyzer system at Måde Power-to-X (PtX) facility in Esbjerg, Denmark.

Plug Power’s financial statements have also demonstrated that its business was making progress. The results showed that its revenue jumped by 22% in the first quarter to $163 million, helped by its material handling and electrolyzer businesses. It attributed this growth to its relationship with Amazon and Walmart, which use its solutions in their warehouses.

At the same time, the company said that its gross margins improved to minus 13% from minus 55% in the same period last year, a 71% increase. It attributed the margin growth to its measures to improve service execution, sales growth, and fuel sourcing efficiencies.

Plug Power also noted that it had already deployed 320 MW of electrolyzer globally and that it had an $8 billion pipeline across sectors like industrial and energy. Also, its hydrogen fuel sales rose by 22%, helped by customer growth, higher prices, and reduced warrant charges. Its hydrogen fuel margin rose by 54%.

Wall Street analysts are optimistic about Plug Power, with the average estimate for this year’s annual revenue being $813 million, up by 14.5% YoY. Also, they expect the revenue to jump to $964 million next year.

Therefore, the stock is falling as investors focus on its balance sheet. It ended the quarter with $802 million in cash, with $223 million being unrestricted. The rest is in the form of restricted cash that will be released $50 million per quarter for the next few years. With its cash burn still continuing, chances are that it may raise cash again this year.

PLUG stock chart | Source: TradingView

The daily chart shows that the PLUG stock price has been in a strong downward trend in the past few weeks as the recent momentum stalled. It has dropped below the 50-day and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMA).

The stock moved below the key support level of $2.66, its highest point in January this year. At the same time, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has dropped and is approaching the oversold level of 30.

Therefore the most likely scenario is that it continues falling as investors wait for more clarity about its business when it releases its earnings, possibly on August 10.

The Trade Desk (TTD) is Attracting Investor Attention: Here is What You Should Know
TTD The Trade Desk
FMP Stock News
Original source text
The Trade Desk (TTD - Free Report) is one of the stocks most watched by Zacks.com visitors lately. So, it might be a good idea to review some of the factors that might affect the near-term performance of the stock.

Over the past month, shares of this digital-advertising platform operator have returned -3.6%, compared to the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +1.6% change. During this period, the Zacks Internet - Services industry, which The Trade Desk falls in, has lost 0.2%. The key question now is: What could be the stock's future direction?

Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.

Earnings Estimate RevisionsRather than focusing on anything else, we at Zacks prioritize evaluating the change in a company's earnings projection. This is because we believe the fair value for its stock is determined by the present value of its future stream of earnings.

We essentially look at how sell-side analysts covering the stock are revising their earnings estimates to reflect the impact of the latest business trends. And if earnings estimates go up for a company, the fair value for its stock goes up. A higher fair value than the current market price drives investors' interest in buying the stock, leading to its price moving higher. This is why empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.

For the current quarter, The Trade Desk is expected to post earnings of $0.41 per share, indicating no change. The Zacks Consensus Estimate has changed +1.3% over the last 30 days.

The consensus earnings estimate of $1.88 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +6.2%. This estimate has changed +0.1% over the last 30 days.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $2.12 indicates a change of +12.8% from what The Trade Desk is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed -0.4%.

Having a strong externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, offers a more conclusive picture of a stock's price direction in the near term, since it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. Due to the size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, The Trade Desk is rated Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).

The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:

12 Month EPS

Projected Revenue GrowthWhile earnings growth is arguably the most superior indicator of a company's financial health, nothing happens as such if a business isn't able to grow its revenues. After all, it's nearly impossible for a company to increase its earnings for an extended period without increasing its revenues. So, it's important to know a company's potential revenue growth.

For The Trade Desk, the consensus sales estimate for the current quarter of $751.58 million indicates a year-over-year change of +8.3%. For the current and next fiscal years, $3.18 billion and $3.49 billion estimates indicate +9.8% and +9.6% changes, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryThe Trade Desk reported revenues of $688.86 million in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +11.8%. EPS of $0.28 for the same period compares with $0.33 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $679.26 million, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +1.41%. The EPS surprise was -12.5%.

Over the last four quarters, the company surpassed EPS estimates just once. The company topped consensus revenue estimates each time over this period.

ValuationWithout considering a stock's valuation, no investment decision can be efficient. In predicting a stock's future price performance, it's crucial to determine whether its current price correctly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects.

Comparing the current value of a company's valuation multiples, such as its price-to-earnings (P/E), price-to-sales (P/S), and price-to-cash flow (P/CF), to its own historical values helps ascertain whether its stock is fairly valued, overvalued, or undervalued, whereas comparing the company relative to its peers on these parameters gives a good sense of how reasonable its stock price is.

The Trade Desk is graded B on this front, indicating that it is trading at a discount to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

Bottom LineThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about The Trade Desk. However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

Here's Why Affirm Holdings (AFRM) is a Strong Momentum Stock

Based on their value, growth, and momentum characteristics, each stock is assigned a rating of A, B, C, D, or F. The better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform; an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on.

Growth ScoreWhile good value is important, growth investors are more focused on a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score takes projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow into account to uncover stocks that will see long-term, sustainable growth.

VGM ScoreIf you like to use all three kinds of investing, then the VGM Score is for you. It's a combination of all Style Scores, and is an important indicator to use with the Zacks Rank. The VGM Score rates each stock on their shared weighted styles, narrowing down the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum.

How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank is a proprietary stock-rating model that harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to help investors build a successful portfolio.

It's highly successful, with #1 (Strong Buy) stocks producing an unmatched +23.94% average annual return since 1988. That's more than double the S&P 500. But because of the large number of stocks we rate, there are over 200 companies with a Strong Buy rank, plus another 600 with a #2 (Buy) rank, on any given day.

With more than 800 top-rated stocks to choose from, it can certainly feel overwhelming to pick the ones that are right for you and your investing journey.

That's where the Style Scores come in.

To have the best chance of big returns, you'll want to always consider stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B, which will give you the highest probability of success. If you're looking at stocks with a #3 (Hold) rank, it's important they have Scores of A or B as well to ensure as much upside potential as possible.

Since the Scores were created to work together with the Zacks Rank, the direction of a stock's earnings estimate revisions should be a key factor when choosing which stocks to buy.

Stock to Watch: Affirm Holdings (AFRM - Free Report) Founded in 2012 and headquartered in San Francisco, CA, Affirm Holdings, Inc. is a financial technology company specializing in payment solutions that provide consumers with flexible, transparent installment loans — both interest-free and interest-bearing — at the point of sale. By partnering with a diverse range of merchants, Affirm enables customers to pay for purchases over time.

AFRM is a #3 (Hold) on the Zacks Rank, with a VGM Score of B.

Momentum investors should take note of this Computer and Technology stock. AFRM has a Momentum Style Score of A, and shares are up 28.4% over the past four weeks.

Seven analysts revised their earnings estimate upwards in the last 60 days for fiscal 2026. The Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.11 to $1.24 per share. AFRM boasts an average earnings surprise of +74.9%.

With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Momentum and VGM Style Scores, AFRM should be on investors' short list.

Price Prediction: iQIYI Could Be One of the Market's Biggest Comeback Stories
IQ iQIYI
FMP Stock News

Few China-listed streaming names have been beaten down as hard as iQIYI (NASDAQ:IQ | IQ Price Prediction), and few offer as clean a setup for a potential rebound. iQIYI trades at $1.07, down 39.89% over the past year and 92.07% over five. Our 24/7 Wall St. price target for iQIYI is $1.76, implying 64.51% upside. The recommendation is buy, with moderate confidence.

24/7 Wall St. Price Target Summary Metric Value Current Price $1.07 24/7 Wall St. Price Target $1.76 Upside 64.51% Recommendation BUY Confidence Level 50% A Year of Damage, and a Base Being Built iQIYI is down 44.27% year to date and sits 46% below the 52-week high of $2.84, with a low at $0.95.

Q1 2026 revenue came in at $913.32M, down 13.4% year over year, with an operating loss of $33.51M. EPS of -$0.0352 still beat the consensus estimate of -$0.2174 by 83.81%, and SG&A fell 20%.

Management authorized a $100M buyback and filed for a Hong Kong Main Board dual listing, while the Nadou Pro AI production platform crossed 10,000 registered creators within one month of its April 20, 2026 launch.

Why Bulls See a Breakout Ahead The bull case rests on AI-driven margin expansion and international scale. Nadou Pro has already delivered a 50% improvement in shot production efficiency and rolled out to Singapore, Canada, and Brazil. Overseas membership hit record levels, and content wins like “Running Man Thailand,” which posted 6.85 billion cross-platform impressions, show the international library is resonating.

Analyst coverage skews constructive with 2 Strong Buy, 7 Buy, and 11 Hold ratings, and a broader survey pegs the consensus target at $2.91. Our bull-case scenario points to $2.37 within 12 months, a 121.85% total return.

Act now: the analyst who called NVIDIA in 2010 just named his top 10 AI stocks — and iQIYI didn't make the cut. Grab the names FREE today.

The Risks Worth Watching iQIYI still carries $636.6M in PAG loan exposure and roughly RMB8.2B in convertible notes. Cash and equivalents fell to $431.46M in Q1 2026, a 31.92% year-over-year decline, and institutional shareholding dropped 19.69% quarter over quarter. To be fair, some of that cash burn funded the convertible repurchase and buyback, actions that reduce future dilution.

Content costs also fell only 1% against a 13.4% revenue drop, though bulls would argue Nadou Pro directly targets that structural issue. Our bear-case target still lands at $1.49, a 39.11% return.

iQIYI Price Prediction 2026-2030 My 24/7 Wall St. price target of $1.76 anchors a buy rating at moderate confidence. The factor tipping the scale is asymmetric setup: even the bear scenario projects a positive return from these levels, while AI-led cost cuts and the Hong Kong listing offer real optionality.

The setup looks most attractive for investors who can tolerate China-exposure volatility and believe Nadou Pro will translate creator adoption into gross-margin recovery in 2027. Investors who need near-term earnings visibility may prefer to wait, because Q1 2026 confirmed profitability remains fragile.

Year 24/7 Wall St. Price Target 2026 $1.76 2027 $2.25 2028 $2.85 2029 $3.45 2030 $4.16 These projections assume iQIYI executes on AI-driven content costs and overseas growth. Significant upside could come from a successful Hong Kong listing catalyzing valuation re-rating, while renewed China regulatory pressure or advertiser weakness could pull the trajectory lower.

Halliburton Lands Key Iraq Oilfield Deal to Boost Production
HAL Halliburton
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Halliburton will manage engineering, drilling, production and reservoir operations under one contract.HAL's project targets up to 150,000 bopd at Bin Umar and 100,000 bopd at Sindbad.Halliburton will deploy advanced technologies to boost efficiency, gas recovery and field performance. Halliburton (HAL - Free Report) has strengthened its footprint in the Middle East after securing an integrated management contract from Iraq’s Basra Oil Company to develop the Bin Umar and Sindbad oil fields. The agreement supports Iraq’s long-term strategy to unlock greater value from its hydrocarbon resources while modernizing field operations through advanced technology and international expertise. The project also reflects the Iraqi government’s commitment to increasing production capacity and improving energy infrastructure across one of the country's most productive oil regions.

Halliburton Expands Its Role in Iraq’s Upstream IndustryThe latest contract highlights Halliburton’s growing importance in Iraq’s upstream oil and gas sector. Rather than providing a single service, the company will oversee an integrated development program that combines engineering, drilling, production optimization, reservoir management and operational planning under one framework.

This model enables faster decision-making, improved coordination between technical teams and greater operational efficiency throughout the life of the project. For Iraq, partnering with an experienced global energy services company helps accelerate development timelines while ensuring projects are executed using internationally recognized standards and modern technologies.

Development Targets for Bin Umar and Sindbad Oil FieldsThe agreement includes ambitious production objectives for both oil fields. Bin Umar is expected to increase crude oil production to 150,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) over the coming years, while associated gas production is targeted to reach 300 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscf/d).

At the Sindbad oil field, crude output is planned to reach between 80,000 bopd and 100,000 bopd, with associated gas production expected in the range of 240-260 MMscf/d.

These production goals form part of Iraq’s broader strategy to maximize existing field potential while strengthening the country's position as one of the world's leading oil producers.

Integrated Field Management Offers Long-Term Operational BenefitsIntegrated management contracts have become increasingly popular across the global energy industry because they simplify complex field operations. Instead of relying on multiple contractors working independently, a single company coordinates engineering, drilling, production, maintenance, logistics and technical services through a unified management structure.

This approach improves communication between project teams, reduces operational delays and allows faster implementation of technical solutions. It also provides operators with greater visibility across every stage of field development, enabling better resource allocation and more consistent production performance.

For large producing assets such as Bin Umar and Sindbad, integrated management creates opportunities to enhance efficiency while maintaining safe and reliable operations.

Basra Continues to Drive Iraq’s Oil Production GrowthBasra governorate remains the foundation of Iraq’s petroleum industry, accounting for the majority of the country’s crude oil production and exports. Continued investment in fields across the region plays a vital role in supporting government revenues, attracting international partnerships and maintaining export capacity.

Projects that focus on improving mature oil fields are particularly valuable because they increase production without requiring entirely new discoveries. By optimizing existing assets, Iraq can generate stronger returns from proven reserves while making better use of existing infrastructure.

The partnership reinforces Basra’s position as the center of Iraq’s energy sector and demonstrates continued confidence in the region’s long-term production potential.

Associated Gas Development Supports Iraq’s Energy SecurityBeyond crude oil, the project places significant emphasis on recovering associated natural gas that is produced alongside oil. Increasing gas capture has become a national priority as Iraq works to reduce flaring and expand domestic energy supplies.

Higher gas production can provide additional fuel for electricity generation, support industrial development and reduce dependence on imported energy resources. Capturing more associated gas also improves overall resource efficiency by ensuring valuable hydrocarbons are utilized instead of being wasted.

As demand for cleaner and more reliable energy continues to grow, investments in gas infrastructure will play an increasingly important role in Iraq’s broader energy strategy.

Advanced Technology Will Enhance Field PerformanceHouston-based oil and gas equipment and services company brings decades of experience in deploying advanced technologies across complex oil and gas developments worldwide. Digital reservoir analysis, intelligent drilling systems, production monitoring, well optimization and data-driven decision-making have become essential tools for maximizing field performance.

These technologies help operators identify production opportunities more quickly, improve recovery rates, minimize downtime and optimize long-term asset management. The integration of digital solutions also enables continuous monitoring, allowing technical teams to respond rapidly to changing reservoir conditions and operational requirements.

Applying these capabilities to the Bin Umar and Sindbad developments is expected to improve efficiency while supporting sustainable production growth throughout the project lifecycle.

Economic Benefits Extend Beyond Oil ProductionThe agreement is expected to generate broader economic value by encouraging investment, supporting local supply chains and creating opportunities for workforce development. Large-scale energy projects typically require collaboration with domestic contractors, equipment suppliers, logistics providers and technical specialists, contributing to wider economic activity across the region.

Knowledge transfer from international service companies also helps strengthen local technical expertise, providing long-term benefits for Iraq’s energy workforce. As operational capabilities continue to improve, future upstream projects can benefit from enhanced skills, stronger infrastructure and greater project management experience.

These indirect benefits make integrated development agreements valuable not only for production growth but also for supporting the long-term development of Iraq’s energy sector.

Positive Outlook for Halliburton and Iraq’s Energy FutureHalliburton’s integrated management contract for the Bin Umar and Sindbad oil fields represents another significant milestone in Iraq’s efforts to expand oil and gas production through international collaboration. By combining advanced technology, operational expertise and comprehensive field management, the partnership supports the country's objective of maximizing existing resources while improving efficiency across critical upstream assets.

As development progresses, the project is expected to strengthen Iraq’s production capacity, enhance domestic energy security through greater gas utilization and reinforce Halliburton’s position as a trusted partner in delivering large-scale energy projects across the Middle East. With sustained investment and effective execution, the agreement has the potential to contribute meaningfully to Iraq’s long-term economic growth and the continued evolution of its oil and gas industry.

Cintas (CTAS) Earnings Expected to Grow: What to Know Ahead of Next Week's Release
CTAS Cintas
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Cintas (CTAS - Free Report) is expected to deliver a year-over-year increase in earnings on higher revenues when it reports results for the quarter ended May 2026. This widely-known consensus outlook gives a good sense of the company's earnings picture, but how the actual results compare to these estimates is a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price.

The earnings report, which is expected to be released on July 15, might help the stock move higher if these key numbers are better than expectations. On the other hand, if they miss, the stock may move lower.

While the sustainability of the immediate price change and future earnings expectations will mostly depend on management's discussion of business conditions on the earnings call, it's worth handicapping the probability of a positive EPS surprise.

Zacks Consensus EstimateThis uniform rental company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $1.24 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of +13.8%.

Revenues are expected to be $2.88 billion, up 7.8% from the year-ago quarter.

Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has remained unchanged over the last 30 days. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period.

Investors should keep in mind that an aggregate change may not always reflect the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts.

Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise

Earnings WhisperEstimate revisions ahead of a company's earnings release offer clues to the business conditions for the period whose results are coming out. Our proprietary surprise prediction model -- the Zacks Earnings ESP (Expected Surprise Prediction) -- has this insight at its core.

The Zacks Earnings ESP compares the Most Accurate Estimate to the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the quarter; the Most Accurate Estimate is a more recent version of the Zacks Consensus EPS estimate. The idea here is that analysts revising their estimates right before an earnings release have the latest information, which could potentially be more accurate than what they and others contributing to the consensus had predicted earlier.

Thus, a positive or negative Earnings ESP reading theoretically indicates the likely deviation of the actual earnings from the consensus estimate. However, the model's predictive power is significant for positive ESP readings only.

A positive Earnings ESP is a strong predictor of an earnings beat, particularly when combined with a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), 2 (Buy) or 3 (Hold). Our research shows that stocks with this combination produce a positive surprise nearly 70% of the time, and a solid Zacks Rank actually increases the predictive power of Earnings ESP.

Please note that a negative Earnings ESP reading is not indicative of an earnings miss. Our research shows that it is difficult to predict an earnings beat with any degree of confidence for stocks with negative Earnings ESP readings and/or Zacks Rank of 4 (Sell) or 5 (Strong Sell).

How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for Cintas? For Cintas, the Most Accurate Estimate is higher than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bullish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +0.58%.

On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #3.

So, this combination indicates that Cintas will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate.

Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue?Analysts often consider to what extent a company has been able to match consensus estimates in the past while calculating their estimates for its future earnings. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.

For the last reported quarter, it was expected that Cintas would post earnings of $1.23 per share when it actually produced earnings of $1.24, delivering a surprise of +0.81%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates four times.

Bottom LineAn earnings beat or miss may not be the sole basis for a stock moving higher or lower. Many stocks end up losing ground despite an earnings beat due to other factors that disappoint investors. Similarly, unforeseen catalysts help a number of stocks gain despite an earnings miss.

That said, betting on stocks that are expected to beat earnings expectations does increase the odds of success. This is why it's worth checking a company's Earnings ESP and Zacks Rank ahead of its quarterly release. Make sure to utilize our Earnings ESP Filter to uncover the best stocks to buy or sell before they've reported.

Cintas appears a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.

Why Investors Need to Take Advantage of These 2 Finance Stocks Now
TROW T. Rowe Price
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Wall Street watches a company's quarterly report closely to understand as much as possible about its recent performance and what to expect going forward. Of course, one figure often stands out among the rest: earnings.

Life and the stock market are both about expectations, and rising above what is expected is often rewarded, while falling short can come with negative consequences. Investors might want to try to capture stronger returns by finding positive earnings surprises.

Hunting for 'earnings whispers' or companies poised to beat their quarterly earnings estimates is a somewhat common practice. But that doesn't make it easy. One way that has been proven to work is by using the Zacks Earnings ESP tool.

The Zacks Earnings ESP, ExplainedThe Zacks Expected Surprise Prediction, or ESP, works by locking in on the most up-to-date analyst earnings revisions because they can be more accurate than estimates from weeks or even months before the actual release date. The thinking is pretty straightforward: analysts who provide earnings estimates closer to the report are likely to have more information.

The core of the ESP model is comparing the Most Accurate Estimate to the Zacks Consensus Estimate, where the resulting percentage difference between the two equals the Expected Surprise Prediction. The Zacks Rank is also factored into the ESP metric to better help find companies that appear poised to top their next bottom-line consensus estimate, which will hopefully help lift the stock price.

In fact, when we combined a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) or better and a positive Earnings ESP, stocks produced a positive surprise 70% of the time. Perhaps most importantly, using these parameters has helped produce 28.3% annual returns on average, according to our 10 year backtest.

Stocks with a #3 (Hold) ranking, which is most stocks covered at 60%, are expected to perform in-line with the broader market. But stocks that fall into the #2 (Buy) and #1 (Strong Buy) ranking, or the top 15% and top 5% of stocks, respectively, should outperform the market. Strong Buy stocks should outperform more than any other rank.

Should You Consider T. Rowe Price? Now that we understand what the ESP is and how beneficial it can be, let's dive into a stock that currently fits the bill. T. Rowe Price (TROW - Free Report) earns a #3 (Hold) right now and its Most Accurate Estimate sits at $2.51 a share, just 23 days from its upcoming earnings release on July 31, 2026.

T. Rowe Price's Earnings ESP sits at +6.79%, which, as explained above, is calculated by taking the percentage difference between the $2.51 Most Accurate Estimate and the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2.35. TROW is also part of a large group of stocks that boast a positive ESP. Make sure to utilize our Earnings ESP Filter to uncover the best stocks to buy or sell before they've reported.

TROW is part of a big group of Finance stocks that boast a positive ESP, and investors may want to take a look at Agree Realty (ADC - Free Report) as well.

Agree Realty, which is readying to report earnings on July 30, 2026, sits at a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) right now. Its Most Accurate Estimate is currently $1.14 a share, and ADC is 22 days out from its next earnings report.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for Agree Realty is $1.13, and when you take the percentage difference between that number and its Most Accurate Estimate, you get the Earnings ESP figure of +0.27%.

TROW and ADC's positive ESP figures tell us that both stocks have a good chance at beating analyst expectations in their next earnings report.

NEW YORK, July 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bronstein, Gewirtz & Grossman, LLC, a nationally recognized investor-rights law firm, announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed against ZoomInfo Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: GTM) and certain of its officers.

This lawsuit seeks to recover damages against Defendants for alleged violations of the federal securities laws on behalf of all persons and entities that purchased or otherwise acquired ZoomInfo securities between November 3, 2025 and May 11, 2026, both dates inclusive (the “Class Period”). Such investors are encouraged to join this case by visiting the firm’s site: bgandg.com/GTM.

ZoomInfo Case Details

The Complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and misleading statements and/or failed to disclose:

(1) The true state of ZoomInfo's slowing seat-based demand, weakening upsell opportunities, and deteriorating fundamentals across its downmarket and upmarket segments.
(2) That Defendants' optimistic growth narrative, including representations that full-year 2026 revenue guidance of $1.247–$1.267 billion was achievable and that Copilot penetration was on or ahead of schedule.
(3) That customers were migrating toward consumption-based models and developing internal AI-driven go-to-market solutions, trends Defendants minimized despite their material adverse impact on ZoomInfo's business.

On May 11, 2026, ZoomInfo reported its first quarter 2026 results and slashed its full-year revenue guidance by approximately $62 million

Following this news, the price of ZoomInfo's common stock declined dramatically, from a closing market price of $6.04 per share on May 11, 2026, ZoomInfo's stock price fell to $4.06 per share on May 12, 2026, a decline of about 33%.

Upstart Holdings, Inc. (UPST) Is a Trending Stock: Facts to Know Before Betting on It
UPST Upstart Holdings
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Upstart Holdings, Inc. (UPST - Free Report) has recently been on Zacks.com's list of the most searched stocks. Therefore, you might want to consider some of the key factors that could influence the stock's performance in the near future.

Shares of this company have returned +6.4% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +1.6% change. The Zacks Financial - Miscellaneous Services industry, to which Upstart belongs, has gained 1.4% over this period. Now the key question is: Where could the stock be headed in the near term?

While media releases or rumors about a substantial change in a company's business prospects usually make its stock 'trending' and lead to an immediate price change, there are always some fundamental facts that eventually dominate the buy-and-hold decision-making.

Revisions to Earnings EstimatesRather than focusing on anything else, we at Zacks prioritize evaluating the change in a company's earnings projection.

Upstart is expected to post earnings of $0.55 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +52.8%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate remained unchanged.

The consensus earnings estimate of $2.27 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +30.5%. This estimate has remained unchanged over the last 30 days.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $3.29 indicates a change of +44.9% from what Upstart is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has remained unchanged.

Having a strong externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, offers a more conclusive picture of a stock's price direction in the near term, since it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. Due to the size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, Upstart is rated Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).

The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:

12 Month EPS

Revenue Growth ForecastEven though a company's earnings growth is arguably the best indicator of its financial health, nothing much happens if it cannot raise its revenues. It's almost impossible for a company to grow its earnings without growing its revenue for long periods. Therefore, knowing a company's potential revenue growth is crucial.

For Upstart, the consensus sales estimate for the current quarter of $354.89 million indicates a year-over-year change of +37.9%. For the current and next fiscal years, $1.43 billion and $1.86 billion estimates indicate +36.5% and +30.6% changes, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryUpstart reported revenues of $308.21 million in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +44.4%. EPS of $0.3 for the same period compares with $0.3 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $289.36 million, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +6.51%. The EPS surprise was -23.08%.

Over the last four quarters, Upstart surpassed consensus EPS estimates two times. The company topped consensus revenue estimates three times over this period.

ValuationNo investment decision can be efficient without considering a stock's valuation. Whether a stock's current price rightly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects is an essential determinant of its future price performance.

Upstart is graded D on this front, indicating that it is trading at a premium to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

Bottom LineThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Upstart. However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

GLW vs. BAND: Which AI Connectivity Stock is the Better Buy Now?
GLW Corning
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways GLW and BAND both tap AI connectivity trends, but the former appears better placed now.GLW benefits from optical connectivity demand tied to generative AI, data transfer and clouds.Bandwidth outpaced GLW over the past year and trades cheaper on price/sales, but faces CPaaS competition. Corning Incorporated (GLW - Free Report) and Bandwidth Inc. (BAND - Free Report) are key technology firms in the smartphone and communications value chain. Corning is a leading innovator in the glass substrate industry. In addition to being a pioneer in Gorilla Glass technology, the company manufactures specialty materials, including various formulations for glass, glass ceramics and fluoride crystals for specific industrial and commercial applications. It also manufactures optical fibers, glass substrates for LCD and PC displays, automotive glass solutions and various laboratory equipment.

On the other hand, Bandwidth operates as a Communications Platform-as-a-Service (CPaaS) provider, offering software application programming interfaces for voice and messaging services. It is the only API platform provider that owns a Tier 1 network with enhanced network capacity, primarily catering to business enterprises.

With domain-specific expertise in core areas, both Corning and Bandwidth are well-positioned in the tech-adjacent manufacturing landscape and have the means to cater to the evolving demands of business enterprises. Let us delve a little deeper into the companies’ competitive dynamics to understand which of the two is relatively better placed in the industry.

The Case for GLWCorning is benefiting from improved demand and the commercialization of its innovations. Its capabilities are becoming increasingly vital to diverse industries. The fiber optic solutions business is likely to be the key growth driver for GLW, aided by the increasing use of mobile devices that require efficient data transfer and networking systems. Supporting this trend is the proliferation of clouds, resulting in increased storage and even virtual computing.

Since both consumers and enterprises are using networks more extensively, and the generated data is increasingly being used to train AI models, there is a solid demand for Corning’s innovative optical connectivity products for generative AI applications.

GLW’s operating structure has been reorganized to align executive management and business teams around five Market-Access Platforms to unlock opportunities for valuable synergies. These include Mobile Consumer Electronics, Optical Communications, Automotive, Life Sciences and Display. Corning has a leadership position in each of these markets, which, along with focused marketing efforts, has proved conducive to growth. In addition, the reorganization has increased efficiency by creating the opportunity to reuse assets and capabilities developed for customers in one market ecosystem to serve customers in another.

However, end market diversification is limited within the Display and Optical segments, which account for more than half of total revenues. Since the Display Technologies and Specialty Materials segments are primarily dependent on consumer spending, particularly on LCD TVs and mobile PCs, this narrows down the market. Building a significant market position in China amid a bitter U.S.-China trade relationship with heightened risk of the imposition of tariffs can adversely impact its operations.

The Case for BANDBandwidth is benefiting from several favorable industry trends that are strengthening its growth prospects. The transition from legacy telephony systems to cloud-based communications continues to serve as a major growth catalyst. Enterprises are increasingly adopting cloud-native communication solutions to improve customer engagement and operational efficiency. Bandwidth's CPaaS offerings enable businesses to integrate voice, messaging and emergency services directly into their applications. The ongoing digital transformation across industries is expected to drive sustained demand for these solutions.

Bandwidth is increasingly positioned as a core infrastructure provider for AI-driven enterprise communications, with its Maestro orchestration platform enabling integration of voice AI into real-time workflows. Customers are deploying AI in production environments, increasing interaction volume and expanding revenue per interaction. The company’s role in enabling governed workflows allows it to capture incremental usage as enterprises scale AI applications. As AI-driven customer engagement becomes more prevalent, Bandwidth is likely to see increased demand for its platform and network services.

However, Bandwidth operates in a highly competitive CPaaS market where larger competitors have broader global reach and established enterprise relationships. These competitors can bundle services and respond quickly to technological shifts, which can limit Bandwidth’s pricing power and customer acquisition. While the company is expanding internationally, competitors remain ahead in global scale, which could constrain market share gains over time. Bandwidth’s pricing and billing systems remain complex and rely on third-party components. This complexity can lead to inconsistencies and challenges in implementation, particularly as usage scales across multiple services and geographies. The need to align pricing with competitive offerings and evolving market dynamics adds further difficulty, which can adversely impact margins and customer experience.

How Do Zacks Estimates Compare for GLW & BAND?The Zacks Consensus Estimate for Corning’s 2026 sales implies a year-over-year rise of 13.9%, while that for EPS indicates growth of 26.6%. EPS estimates have remained static at $3.19 per share over the past 60 days.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for Bandwidth’s 2026 sales suggests year-over-year growth of 18.3%, while that for EPS implies a rise of 25.2%. The EPS estimates have remained stable at $1.79 over the past 60 days.

Price Performance & Valuation of GLW & BANDOver the past year, Corning has surged 252.7% compared with the industry’s growth of 287%. Bandwidth has gained 322% over the same period.

Corning looks more expensive compared to Bandwidth from a valuation standpoint. Going by the price/sales ratio, Corning’s shares currently trade at 7.91 forward sales, significantly higher than 2.41 for Bandwidth.

GLW or BAND: Which is a Better Pick?Corning carries a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) while Bandwidth carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold). You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

Both companies expect their sales and earnings to improve in 2026. In terms of price performance, Bandwidth has outperformed Corning and is trading relatively cheaply compared with the latter. However, with exposure to long-term trends (data centers, telecom infrastructure and advanced glass) and a solid Zacks Rank, GLW currently appears to be a better investment option at the moment.

The Zacks Computers - IT Services industry, to which Wix.com belongs, has lost 5.7% over this period. Now the key question is: Where could the stock be headed in the near term?

Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.

With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool -- the Zacks Rank -- is a more conclusive indicator of a stock's near-term price performance, as it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for Wix.com.

The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:

Revenue Growth ForecastWhile earnings growth is arguably the most superior indicator of a company's financial health, nothing happens as such if a business isn't able to grow its revenues. After all, it's nearly impossible for a company to increase its earnings for an extended period without increasing its revenues. So, it's important to know a company's potential revenue growth.

For Wix.com, the consensus sales estimate for the current quarter of $556.66 million indicates a year-over-year change of +13.6%. For the current and next fiscal years, $2.26 billion and $2.54 billion estimates indicate +13.3% and +12.5% changes, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryWix.com reported revenues of $541.17 million in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +14.3%. EPS of $0.68 for the same period compares with $1.55 a year ago.

How Coty Is Refocusing Its Business With the Gucci Beauty Exit
COTY Coty
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Coty will return the Gucci Beauty license early in a deal worth about $400 million.COTY plans to use the proceeds to reduce debt and invest in its core prestige fragrance and beauty brands.Coty will manage Gucci Beauty through at least June 30, 2027, while both firms resolve pending litigation. Coty Inc. (COTY - Free Report) is making a strategic move to simplify its business and strengthen financial position. The beauty company has agreed to return the Gucci Beauty license to Kering about a year before the original contract was set to expire. In return, Coty will receive around $400 million, giving it more flexibility to reduce debt and invest in the core brands.

Under the agreement, Coty will continue managing Gucci Beauty through at least June 30, 2027. The company will receive $250 million upfront, with another $150 million due by Sept. 30, 2027, although up to $30 million of that amount depends on certain conditions being met. Coty will also sell enough Gucci Beauty inventory to Kering to support the transition and expects to incur about $30 million in cash taxes related to the transaction. Both companies have also agreed to resolve all pending litigation related to the Gucci Beauty license, removing a legal overhang ahead of the transition.

This move marks the end of a successful chapter for Coty, which has managed the Gucci Beauty business since 2016. Gucci Beauty sales have grown more than 60% since 2019, driven by popular fragrance lines such as Gucci Flora, Bloom, Guilty and Alchemist Garden. While the license will end earlier than originally planned, the agreement gives Coty greater financial flexibility to focus on its long-term priorities.

The transaction also aligns with Coty's broader strategic direction. Management has repeatedly emphasized that deleveraging remains its top capital allocation priority while focusing investments on fewer, higher-impact brands under the Coty.Curated strategy. The company is also working to simplify the business, reduce costs and improve cash flow. This agreement supports those goals by strengthening Coty's balance sheet and giving it greater flexibility to invest in the core prestige brands.

ZTS Wins European Commission Approval for New Poultry Disease Vaccine
ZTS Zoetis
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Zoetis secured EU approval for Poulvac Procerta HVT-ND to protect against two poultry diseases in one dose.Zoetis said the vaccine can be administered in ovo or at hatch, simplifying vaccination schedules. ZTS expands its Poulvac Procerta portfolio as recombinant vector vaccines gain wider adoption. Zoetis (ZTS - Free Report) announced that the European Commission has awarded marketing authorization for Poulvac Procerta HVT-ND, a recombinant vector vaccine that protects chickens against Newcastle disease and Marek's disease with a single dose. The approval strengthens ZTS’ poultry vaccine portfolio in the EU while offering producers another option to safeguard commercial flocks against two economically important viral diseases.

The vaccine can be administered either in ovo to 18-19-day-old embryonated eggs or through subcutaneous injection at hatch. It uses the herpesvirus of turkey (HVT) as its vector, an avirulent virus that has been used in poultry vaccination for nearly two decades. By expressing an antigen from the Newcastle disease virus, the vaccine stimulates immunity against Newcastle disease while simultaneously protecting against Marek's disease. The dual protection in a single-dose regimen is expected to simplify vaccination schedules and reduce handling requirements.

ZTS Wins EU Approval Amid Rising Poultry Disease ConcernsThe authorization comes as Newcastle disease continues to pose a significant threat to commercial poultry production across Europe. The disease is classified as notifiable under the EU animal health regulations due to its highly contagious nature and its ability to cause substantial mortality and production losses. Recent confirmed outbreaks in Germany, Spain and Poland have underscored the importance of preventive vaccination in limiting the spread of infection and protecting flock health.

Zoetis shares have plunged 39.4% year to date compared with the industry’s 2.9% decline.

The approval also carries commercial significance beyond the EU market. Poulvac Procerta HVT-ND is already authorized in more than 35 countries worldwide, including several Southeast Asian markets. The European Commission's decision is expected to support export opportunities for poultry producers by broadening access to a vaccine that is already recognized in key international markets.

The latest authorization further expands Zoetis' Poulvac Procerta portfolio in Europe. The franchise already includes Poulvac Procerta HVT-IBD, which protects against infectious bursal disease and Marek's disease and Poulvac Procerta HVT-IBD-ND, authorized in 2025, which provides protection against Newcastle disease, infectious bursal disease and Marek's disease through a single-dose vaccination. The addition of Poulvac Procerta HVT-ND gives poultry producers another vaccination option that can be tailored to different disease prevention strategies.

The approval also reinforces Zoetis' position in the global poultry vaccine market, where recombinant vector vaccines continue to gain traction because of their ability to provide broad protection while simplifying immunization programs.

With EU authorization now secured, ZTS is well-positioned to expand the adoption of its HVT vector platform across the region. The launch is expected to support efforts to improve flock health, reduce disease-related losses and enhance the efficiency of poultry production, while strengthening Zoetis' presence in one of the world's largest animal health markets.

Analysts Estimate Elevance Health (ELV) to Report a Decline in Earnings: What to Look Out for
ELV Elevance Health
FMP Stock News
Original source text
The market expects Elevance Health (ELV - Free Report) to deliver a year-over-year decline in earnings on lower revenues when it reports results for the quarter ended June 2026. This widely-known consensus outlook is important in assessing the company's earnings picture, but a powerful factor that might influence its near-term stock price is how the actual results compare to these estimates.

Zacks Consensus EstimateThis health insurer is expected to post quarterly earnings of $6.18 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of -30.1%.

Revenues are expected to be $48.45 billion, down 2% from the year-ago quarter.

Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 0.05% lower over the last 30 days to the current level. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period.

Investors should keep in mind that the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts may not always get reflected in the aggregate change.

How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for Elevance Health? For Elevance Health, the Most Accurate Estimate is lower than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bearish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of -0.42%.

On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #2.

So, this combination makes it difficult to conclusively predict that Elevance Health will beat the consensus EPS estimate.

Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue? While calculating estimates for a company's future earnings, analysts often consider to what extent it has been able to match past consensus estimates. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.

For the last reported quarter, it was expected that Elevance Health would post earnings of $10.68 per share when it actually produced earnings of $12.58, delivering a surprise of +17.79%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates three times.

Elevance Health doesn't appear a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.

Stay on top of upcoming earnings announcements with the Zacks Earnings Calendar.

Here is What to Know Beyond Why The TJX Companies, Inc. (TJX) is a Trending Stock
TJX TJX Companies
FMP Stock News
Original source text
TJX (TJX - Free Report) is one of the stocks most watched by Zacks.com visitors lately. So, it might be a good idea to review some of the factors that might affect the near-term performance of the stock.

Over the past month, shares of this parent of T.J. Maxx, Marshalls and other stores have returned -6.5%, compared to the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +1.6% change. During this period, the Zacks Retail - Discount Stores industry, which TJX falls in, has lost 1.9%. The key question now is: What could be the stock's future direction?

Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.

Earnings Estimate RevisionsHere at Zacks, we prioritize appraising the change in the projection of a company's future earnings over anything else. That's because we believe the present value of its future stream of earnings is what determines the fair value for its stock.

TJX is expected to post earnings of $1.17 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +6.4%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate remained unchanged.

The consensus earnings estimate of $5.17 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +9.3%. This estimate has remained unchanged over the last 30 days.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $5.67 indicates a change of +9.7% from what TJX is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has remained unchanged.

Having a strong externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, offers a more conclusive picture of a stock's price direction in the near term, since it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. Due to the size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, TJX is rated Zacks Rank #2 (Buy).

In the case of TJX, the consensus sales estimate of $15.12 billion for the current quarter points to a year-over-year change of +5%. The $63.9 billion and $67.42 billion estimates for the current and next fiscal years indicate changes of +5.9% and +5.5%, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryTJX reported revenues of $14.32 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +9.2%. EPS of $1.19 for the same period compares with $0.92 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $14 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +2.32%. The EPS surprise was +17.82%.

The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters.

TJX is graded D on this front, indicating that it is trading at a premium to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

ConclusionThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about TJX. However, its Zacks Rank #2 does suggest that it may outperform the broader market in the near term.

Why DocuSign (DOCU) is a Top Growth Stock for the Long-Term
DOCU DocuSign
FMP Stock News
Original source text
For new and old investors, taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals. Zacks Premium provides lots of different ways to do both.

The popular research service can help you become a smarter, more self-assured investor, giving you access to daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens.

It also includes access to the Zacks Style Scores.

What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores is a unique set of guidelines that rates stocks based on three popular investing types, and were developed as complementary indicators for the Zacks Rank. This combination helps investors choose securities with the highest chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.

Each stock is given an alphabetic rating of A, B, C, D or F based on their value, growth, and momentum qualities. With this system, an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on, meaning the better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform.

The Style Scores are broken down into four categories:

Value ScoreFor value investors, it's all about finding good stocks at good prices, and discovering which companies are trading under their true value before the broader market catches on. The Value Style Score utilizes ratios like P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, Price/Cash Flow, and a host of other multiples to help pick out the most attractive and discounted stocks.

Growth ScoreGrowth investors, on the other hand, are more concerned with a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score examines things like projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow to find stocks that will experience sustainable growth over time.

VGM ScoreIf you want a combination of all three Style Scores, then the VGM Score will be your friend. It rates each stock on their combined weighted styles, helping you find the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum. It's also one of the best indicators to use with the Zacks Rank.

How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank is a proprietary stock-rating model that harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to help investors build a successful portfolio.

#1 (Strong Buy) stocks have produced an unmatched +23.94% average annual return since 1988, which is more than double the S&P 500's performance over the same time frame. However, the Zacks Rank examines a ton of stocks, and there can be more than 200 companies with a Strong Buy rank, and another 600 with a #2 (Buy) rank, on any given day.

This totals more than 800 top-rated stocks, and it can be overwhelming to try and pick the best stocks for you and your portfolio.

That's where the Style Scores come in.

You want to make sure you're buying stocks with the highest likelihood of success, and to do that, you'll need to pick stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B. If you like a stock that only has a #3 (Hold) rank, it should also have Scores of A or B to guarantee as much upside potential as possible.

The direction of a stock's earnings estimate revisions should always be a key factor when choosing which stocks to buy, since the Scores were created to work together with the Zacks Rank.

Stock to Watch: DocuSign (DOCU - Free Report) Founded in 2003 and headquartered in San Francisco, Docusign is a global provider of cloud-based software. The company’s Docusign Agreement Cloud is a cloud software suite that automates and connects the entire agreement process.

DOCU is a #3 (Hold) on the Zacks Rank, with a VGM Score of A.

Additionally, the company could be a top pick for growth investors. DOCU has a Growth Style Score of A, forecasting year-over-year earnings growth of 18.2% for the current fiscal year.

For fiscal 2027, seven analysts revised their earnings estimate upwards in the last 60 days, and the Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.11 to $4.54 per share. DOCU boasts an average earnings surprise of +8.7%.

With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Growth and VGM Style Scores, DOCU should be on investors' short list.

Are Investors Undervaluing EPAM Systems (EPAM) Right Now?
EPAM EPAM Systems
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Here at Zacks, we focus on our proven ranking system, which places an emphasis on earnings estimates and estimate revisions, to find winning stocks. But we also understand that investors develop their own strategies, so we are constantly looking at the latest trends in value, growth, and momentum to find strong companies for our readers.

Considering these trends, value investing is clearly one of the most preferred ways to find strong stocks in any type of market. Value investors use tried-and-true metrics and fundamental analysis to find companies that they believe are undervalued at their current share price levels.

On top of the Zacks Rank, investors can also look at our innovative Style Scores system to find stocks with specific traits. For example, value investors will want to focus on the "Value" category. Stocks with high Zacks Ranks and "A" grades for Value will be some of the highest-quality value stocks on the market today.

One company value investors might notice is EPAM Systems (EPAM - Free Report) . EPAM is currently holding a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) and a Value grade of A. The stock holds a P/E ratio of 13.16, while its industry has an average P/E of 16.91. Over the last 12 months, EPAM's Forward P/E has been as high as 23.27 and as low as 12.64, with a median of 16.57.

EPAM is also sporting a PEG ratio of 1.67. This metric is used similarly to the famous P/E ratio, but the PEG ratio also takes into account the stock's expected earnings growth rate. EPAM's PEG compares to its industry's average PEG of 2.02. EPAM's PEG has been as high as 3.77 and as low as 1.61, with a median of 2.30, all within the past year.

Value investors also frequently use the P/S ratio. This metric is found by dividing a stock's price with the company's revenue. This is a popular metric because sales are harder to manipulate on an income statement, so they are often considered a better performance indicator. EPAM has a P/S ratio of 0.84. This compares to its industry's average P/S of 1.49.

These are just a handful of the figures considered in EPAM Systems's great Value grade. Still, they help show that the stock is likely being undervalued at the moment. Add this to the strength of its earnings outlook, and we can clearly see that EPAM is an impressive value stock right now.

WDC Stock Outshines Industry Returns in a Year: Should You Jump In?
WDC Western Digital
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways WDC is benefiting from AI storage demand, pricing strength and enterprise infrastructure spending.Western Digital cut debt, built a net cash position and expanded share repurchase authorization.WDC's fiscal 2026 and 2027 earnings estimates have moved higher amid improving fundamentals. Western Digital Corporation (WDC - Free Report) has been a standout performer in the storage industry over the past year. Its shares have skyrocketed 723.1% over the past year, outpacing the 458.1% growth of the Zacks Computer-Storage Devices industry. The stock has also outperformed the Zacks Computer & Technology sector’s and the S&P 500’s growth of 33.7% and 23.6%, respectively. After enduring a prolonged downturn caused by weak PC demand and excess memory inventory, the company has benefited from a recovery in storage pricing, growing enterprise demand and the accelerating adoption of AI.

Western Digital competes against several major players in both HDD and flash storage markets, such as Seagate Technology Holdings plc (STX - Free Report) , NetApp, Inc. (NTAP - Free Report) and Teradata (TDC - Free Report) . STX, TDC and NTAP have gained 482.8%, 60.4% and 55.4%, respectively, in the same time frame.

WDC boasts a 52-week high of $799.87. With WDC outperforming many peers over the last 12 months, investors wonder whether there is still upside potential or whether most of the gains have already been priced in.

Here's a closer look.

Industry Tailwinds Continue to Favor WDC StockSeveral broader trends continue supporting long-term storage demand, such as the AI boom, healthy cloud spending, rising enterprise digital transformation and improving operational efficiency. Driven by rising demand for AI-related storage, WD is strengthening its capacity leadership through continuous innovation. The company is advancing 44TB HAMR and 40TB ePMR high-capacity drives in qualification, with volume production expected in the second half of 2026 and a roadmap extending beyond 100TB.

It is also expanding adoption of its UltraSMR technology, now used by three major customers and supporting nearly all exabyte demand. In addition, WD is introducing high-bandwidth drives and dual-pivot technology to optimize AI workloads, while long-term customer agreements extending through 2028 and 2029 provide greater revenue visibility. AI workloads, agentic AI, synthetic data and physical AI are driving strong demand for HDD storage, with long-term exabyte growth projected to exceed 25% CAGR. As AI-generated data continues to expand, HDDs remain the preferred solution for long-term data retention in hyperscale data centers, complementing flash storage, which is optimized for high-speed performance.

Western Digital is also benefiting from higher pricing, a favorable product mix and cost efficiencies. It expects pricing momentum to continue into late 2026, while improvements in areal density, UltraSMR adoption and supply chain efficiencies are lowering costs and supporting margin expansion without requiring additional manufacturing capacity. The UltraSMR JBOD platform aims to broaden market reach, especially into Tier 2 CSPs and some hyperscalers in Asia. By the end of calendar 2027, most key customers will be on UltraSMR, either fully adopted or in qualification. The forecast indicates that close to 60% of exabytes shipped will be on UltraSMR by the end of fiscal 2027. Expansion into Tier 2 CSPs and hyperscalers is a key strategy.

The company is also considering investments in head and media capacity to support multiyear customer commitments, focusing on technological improvements rather than unit capacity. No new unit capacity investments are planned. The focus is on increasing capacity per drive through technology, such as higher aerial density and more platters. There is potential to increase capacity from 14 disks over time if it proves to be economically viable.

Spin-Off Creates New Opportunities for WDCWestern Digital has been restructuring its business by separating its flash memory operations into Sandisk (SNDK - Free Report) from its HDD business. Investors often reward companies that simplify their business models, allowing each segment to pursue strategies tailored to its specific market. During the fiscal third quarter, WDC strengthened its balance sheet by selling 5.8 million SanDisk shares and using the proceeds to reduce debt by $3.1 billion, leaving only $1.6 billion in convertible debt.

The company also ended the quarter with a net cash position of $450 million and expanded its capital return program by authorizing an additional $4 billion in share repurchases. Strong free cash flow continues to support WesternDigital's shareholder return strategy. The company increased its quarterly dividend by 20%, and has returned $2.2 billion to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases since the fourth quarter of 2025. Supported by a net cash position, management remains focused on returning excess free cash flow through ongoing buybacks and dividends.

Despite the positive outlook, Western Digital remains far from risk-free. The storage industry remains highly cyclical, with supply-demand imbalances capable of quickly pressuring pricing, margins and profitability. The company also faces intense competition, while any slowdown in AI investment or broader macroeconomic weakness could reduce demand for storage infrastructure.

Upbeat Estimate Revision Trend for WDCWDC’s estimate revisions are on an upward trajectory currently. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for WDC’s earnings for fiscal 2026 has been revised north by 0.4% to $10.06 over the past 60 days, while the same for fiscal 2027 has gone up 8.4% to $18.64.

Valuation ConsiderationsSeveral factors could support continued appreciation, including rising enterprise demand, a better pricing environment, improving margins, the expansion of AI infrastructure and benefits from corporate restructuring. Going by the price/earnings ratio, the company’s shares currently trade at 28.66 forward earnings compared with 12.59 for the industry.

In comparison, the forward 12-month price/earnings multiple for STX, TDC and NTAP are 29.51X, 19.71X and 22.67X, respectively.

Should You Consider Buying WDC Stock Now?Western Digital’s improving fundamentals, recovering storage markets, better profitability and growing exposure to AI-driven infrastructure spending drove its strong performance. Its long-term prospects remain encouraging as cloud computing, AI and exploding global data creation continue boosting storage demand. The company's strategic restructuring could unlock further shareholder value over time. However, short-term volatility, pricing swings and macroeconomic uncertainty could create periods of weakness even if the long-term trajectory remains intact.

For long-term investors who can tolerate industry cycles, WDC still appears to offer an attractive way to participate in the growing demand for enterprise storage and AI infrastructure. While last year's outsized gains may be hard to repeat, continued execution and favorable industry trends could still support further upside.

Flaunting a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), WDC is an appealing portfolio pick at the moment. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank stocks here.

2 Great Developments for Ford but Not for Rivian and Lucid
RIVN Rivian Automotive
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Only a few years ago, much of the automotive industry including Ford Motor Company (F 1.25%) made a sizable gamble that the U.S. consumer would largely skip the hybrid option as the world transitioned from gasoline-powered vehicles to full electric vehicles (EVs). That proved costly and through changes in strategy, cancellation or delays of vehicles, and other special charges, it cost the broader industry tens of billions of dollars.

Despite that rather large speed bump, there are a couple of positive developments for full-line automakers such as Ford and not-so-great news for fully EV-focused companies such as Rivian Automotive (RIVN 0.94%) and Lucid Group (LCID 1.83%).

Trends are becoming more clear A few years ago automakers expected a rapid increase in EV sales, similar to trends seen overseas, but growth in the U.S. would prove slower to gain traction than expected and will almost certainly fall well short of the 50% market share initially expected by the end of the decade.

"The key takeaway is that supply and demand are converging, and that's what is driving sustained growth in hybrids," according to Stephanie Valdez Streaty, director of industry insights for Cox Automotive. "More models, broader participation, and strong consumer pull driven by fuel savings without the range and charging trade-offs that still give some buyers pause."

Now gasoline-powered vehicles are expected to still account for 50% of the U.S. market by the end of 2030, a decline from 73% last year, while hybrid EVs are expected to rise 16 percentage points to 34% of the market over the same time frame, according to estimates from AlixPartners.

Positive developments Knowing what we know now, Ford investors would have preferred a more balanced strategy between powertrains, but with hybrid demand coming on strong, the full-line automaker will more quickly adapt unlike younger EV makers such as Rivian and Lucid waiting for full EV demand to gain traction in the coming years.

Ford is quickly responding with plans to match evolving consumer demand by offering a hybrid powertrain choice across nearly its full vehicle lineup by the end of 2030. The Detroit automaker is now aiming to drive roughly half of its global sales through hybrid options.

The good news, and the bigger development, is that Ford's profitability with hybrids is much stronger than with its full EVs, which have hindered the automaker's bottom-line by the billions in recent years. The progress that Ford has made after being initially surprised by the strong demand from its F-150 hybrid option, has been impressive. By the middle of 2024, many of Ford's hybrid vehicles were profitable, a fact the company had admitted wasn't true as recently as a year prior.

Later, Ford CEO Jim Farley went as far to say that F-150 hybrid margins were higher than its gasoline-powered version. That was an unexpected development but a pleasant surprise. That's because Ford's F-Series lineup is responsible for a large chunk of its global revenue, roughly one-third by most estimates, but is estimated to generate a staggering 90% of the company's net profit.

What it all means Sure, this transition from gasoline-powered vehicles to full EVs and the in-between options could have gone much more smoothly and been less costly. That said, it's absolutely a positive development for investors that as hybrids surge and achieve record demand recently, Ford can quickly adapt and push a near full lineup of hybrids within a few short years.

Furthermore, it's even a bigger development that Ford's hybrid profitability has come so far, so quickly. Hybrid vehicles appear to be here to stay and poised to thrive in the near term. That's not great news for Rivian and Lucid currently, but Ford remains well positioned.

Stock Of The Day: Where Will The Rivian Selloff End?
RIVN Rivian Automotive
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Investors are concerned that this offering will dilute the value of their shares. If they continue to trend lower, the selloff may end around the $12.90 level. This is why Rivian is the Stock of the Day.

As you can see on the chart below, this level was support in October. It was also support in May. If the selloff reaches this level, there is a good chance that it finds support once again.

In the stock market, levels that had previously been support can become support again. This is a common occurrence, and it is because of regretful or remorseful sellers.

Some of the people who sold their shares around $12.90 in October decided that selling was a mistake when the stock rallied. A number of these people wanted to buy their shares back if they could eventually get them for the same price they were sold for.

When Rivian fell back to this important level in May, these remorseful sellers placed buy orders. There were so many of these orders that it formed support at the level again.

After the shares moved higher, a similar dynamic occurred. Many of the people who sold in May now regret doing so because the price is higher. A number of them decided to buy back their shares at the selling price.

If the Rivian sell-off reaches this former support level, they will place buy orders. If there are many of these orders, it could result in support forming at the level again.

Successful traders understand that emotions and sellers’ remorse can create support in the markets. This gives them insight into where a downtrend may end and a new uptrend may form.

Here's Why UiPath (PATH) is a Strong Growth Stock
PATH UiPath
FMP Stock News
Original source text
It doesn't matter your age or experience: taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals for all investors. Luckily, Zacks Premium offers several different ways to do both.

The research service features daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, full access to the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens, all of which will help you become a smarter, more confident investor.

Zacks Premium includes access to the Zacks Style Scores as well.

What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores is a unique set of guidelines that rates stocks based on three popular investing types, and were developed as complementary indicators for the Zacks Rank. This combination helps investors choose securities with the highest chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.

Based on their value, growth, and momentum characteristics, each stock is assigned a rating of A, B, C, D, or F. The better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform; an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on.

Growth ScoreWhile good value is important, growth investors are more focused on a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score takes projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow into account to uncover stocks that will see long-term, sustainable growth.

Momentum ScoreMomentum investors, who live by the saying "the trend is your friend," are most interested in taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook. Utilizing one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates, among other factors, the Momentum Style Score can help determine favorable times to buy high-momentum stocks.

How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank, which is a proprietary stock-rating model, employs earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to make building a winning portfolio easier.

For instance, a stock with a #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell) rating, even one that boasts Scores of A and B, still has a downward-trending earnings forecast, and a much greater likelihood its share price will decline as well.

Thus, the more stocks you own with a #1 or #2 Rank and Scores of A or B, the better.

Stock to Watch: UiPath (PATH - Free Report) UiPath, Inc. provides an end-to-end enterprise automation platform that combines robotic process automation with AI to help organizations discover, build, and operate software automations at scale. The UiPath Platform enables users to automate tasks across user interfaces, APIs, and documents, and to orchestrate digital workers that collaborate with people. The company was first established in Bucharest, Romania in 2005 and incorporated in Delaware in 2015. Its principal executive offices are at One Vanderbilt Avenue, New York, NY.

PATH is a #2 (Buy) on the Zacks Rank, with a VGM Score of B.

Additionally, the company could be a top pick for growth investors. PATH has a Growth Style Score of B, forecasting year-over-year earnings growth of 11.1% for the current fiscal year.

For fiscal 2027, four analysts revised their earnings estimate upwards in the last 60 days, and the Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.01 to $0.80 per share. PATH boasts an average earnings surprise of +30.5%.

With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Growth and VGM Style Scores, PATH should be on investors' short list.

Since the Scores were created to work together with the Zacks Rank, the direction of a stock's earnings estimate revisions should be a key factor when choosing which stocks to buy.

For fiscal 2026, three analysts revised their earnings estimate upwards in the last 60 days, and the Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $2.34 to $8.55 per share. PBF boasts an average earnings surprise of +113.3%.

Can Zscaler Offset Rising Infrastructure Cost Pressures With Scale?
ZS Zscaler
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Zscaler expects fiscal 2026 capex to reach high single digits of revenues as hardware costs rise.Zscaler raised branch appliance prices and is buying equipment early to lock in current prices.Zscaler revenues rose 25% to $850M in fiscal Q3, with annual recurring revenues above $3.5B. Zscaler, Inc. (ZS - Free Report) is facing rising infrastructure costs as demand for artificial intelligence (AI)-powered cybersecurity services increases. Higher prices for memory, storage and processors are expected to raise spending on data center equipment and Zero Trust Branch appliances. However, the company believes its growing scale, pricing actions and operational discipline can help offset these cost pressures over time.

Management expects capital expenditures to reach the high single digits as a percentage of revenues in fiscal 2026 compared with its earlier expectation of the mid-single digits. It also anticipates fiscal 2027 capital expenditures as a percentage of revenues to rise by as much as 200 basis points from the 2026 level because of higher hardware costs. To reduce the impact, Zscaler has already increased prices for its branch appliances and is purchasing equipment early to lock in current prices.

Despite these near-term challenges, the company continues to deliver strong financial performance. In the third quarter of fiscal 2026, revenues increased 25% year over year to $850 million, while annual recurring revenues exceeded $3.5 billion. Remaining performance obligations reached roughly $6.5 billion, providing strong visibility into future revenues.

Profitability also remains healthy. Zscaler’s third-quarter non-GAAP gross margin expanded 40 basis points year over year to 80.7%, while non-GAAP operating margin increased by 140 basis points to 23%. Year to date, the company generated a free cash flow margin of 29%, highlighting its ability to fund growth while maintaining financial discipline.

As its customer base expands and long-term contracts grow, Zscaler's larger revenue scale should help absorb higher infrastructure costs. Continued demand for AI security and Zero Trust solutions could further strengthen its operating leverage over the long run. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for fiscal 2026 is currently pegged at $3.33 billion, indicating a year-over-year increase of approximately 25%.

How Are ZS’ Rivals Managing Rising Infrastructure Costs?Zscaler’s major competitors, including Palo Alto Networks, Inc. (PANW - Free Report) and CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. (CRWD - Free Report) , are also investing heavily in AI infrastructure to strengthen their cybersecurity capabilities.

Palo Alto Networks is investing heavily in AI, cloud security and platform integration while using its large scale to protect margins. In the third quarter of fiscal 2026, revenues increased 31% year over year to $3 billion, and next-generation security ARR surpassed $8 billion. Palo Alto Networks continues to consolidate multiple security products into one platform, helping spread infrastructure costs across a larger customer base and supporting long-term profitability.

CrowdStrike is also expanding AI-powered capabilities while keeping profitability strong. In the first quarter of fiscal 2027, revenues rose 26% year over year to approximately $1.39 billion, while annual recurring revenues reached about $5.51 billion, up 24%. Its cloud-native Falcon platform reduces the need for on-premise hardware, allowing the company to scale efficiently even as AI workloads increase.

Zscaler’s Price Performance, Valuation & EstimatesZS shares have plunged 33.5% year to date against the Zacks Security industry’s surge of 72.3%.

Veeva Systems Inc. (VEEV) is Attracting Investor Attention: Here is What You Should Know
VEEV Veeva Systems
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Veeva Systems (VEEV - Free Report) is one of the stocks most watched by Zacks.com visitors lately. So, it might be a good idea to review some of the factors that might affect the near-term performance of the stock.

Shares of this provider of cloud-based software services for the life sciences industry have returned +14.7% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +1.6% change. The Zacks Medical Info Systems industry, to which Veeva belongs, has gained 17.8% over this period. Now the key question is: Where could the stock be headed in the near term?

Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.

Earnings Estimate RevisionsHere at Zacks, we prioritize appraising the change in the projection of a company's future earnings over anything else. That's because we believe the present value of its future stream of earnings is what determines the fair value for its stock.

Veeva is expected to post earnings of $2.22 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +11.6%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate remained unchanged.

The consensus earnings estimate of $9.05 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +11.7%. This estimate has remained unchanged over the last 30 days.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $9.9 indicates a change of +9.4% from what Veeva is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has remained unchanged.

With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool -- the Zacks Rank -- is a more conclusive indicator of a stock's near-term price performance, as it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for Veeva.

The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:

12 Month EPS

Projected Revenue GrowthEven though a company's earnings growth is arguably the best indicator of its financial health, nothing much happens if it cannot raise its revenues. It's almost impossible for a company to grow its earnings without growing its revenue for long periods. Therefore, knowing a company's potential revenue growth is crucial.

In the case of Veeva, the consensus sales estimate of $904.07 million for the current quarter points to a year-over-year change of +14.6%. The $3.64 billion and $4.07 billion estimates for the current and next fiscal years indicate changes of +14% and +11.7%, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryVeeva reported revenues of $882.95 million in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +16.3%. EPS of $2.24 for the same period compares with $1.97 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $857.33 million, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +2.99%. The EPS surprise was +5.16%.

The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters. The company topped consensus revenue estimates each time over this period.

ValuationNo investment decision can be efficient without considering a stock's valuation. Whether a stock's current price rightly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects is an essential determinant of its future price performance.

Veeva is graded C on this front, indicating that it is trading at par with its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

ConclusionThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Veeva. However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

Rocket Lab's Mega Iridium Deal Kicks off Space Industry Consolidation
RKLB Rocket Lab USA
FMP Stock News
Original source text
In June, Rocket Lab agreed to buy all outstanding Iridium shares for $54 each in a cash-and-stock deal that values Iridium at about $8 billion. Iridium shareholders will receive $27 in cash and Rocket Lab shares, and both companies’ boards have unanimously approved the transaction.

The companies expect the deal to close in mid-2027, pending shareholder and regulatory approvals. Rocket Lab secured a $3.6 billion bridge loan from Deutsche Bank and Wells Fargo to help fund the cash portion of the financing.

Rocket Lab Moves Toward End-To-End Space ConnectivityCounterpoint said on Wednesday that the deal would move Rocket Lab beyond launch services and spacecraft manufacturing into recurring revenue from satellite connectivity.

Iridium offers globally licensed L-band spectrum, a 66-satellite low-Earth-orbit constellation with pole-to-pole coverage, 2.55 million subscribers, and more than 500 channel partners.

Counterpoint said these assets could help Rocket Lab build a full-stack satellite connectivity business spanning launch, spacecraft, spectrum, constellation operations, and connectivity services.

The firm noted that Iridium generated $872 million in revenue in 2025, with IoT accounting for 79% of its commercial subscribers.

Satellite Players Race To Control More Of The Value ChainThe firm said companies are racing to control more of the satellite value chain as terrestrial and satellite networks move closer together.

AST SpaceMobile, Inc (NASDAQ:ASTS) remains focused on broadband direct-to-device services through existing smartphones.

Counterpoint said Rocket Lab and Iridium could focus on narrowband communications, IoT, resilient PNT, and direct-to-device services.

The firm expects that more than 970 million IoT connections could use satellite services by 2030 as 3GPP NTN standards mature and satellite connectivity expands across industrial markets.

Rocket Lab Technical AnalysisRocket Lab shares have gained 117.04% over the past 12 months. Even so, the stock is consolidating after a strong rally.

The shares are trading 14.7% below their 20-day simple moving average and 21.6% below the 50-day SMA. However, they remain 9.7% above the 200-day SMA, keeping the long-term uptrend intact.

Momentum indicators remain cautious. The MACD is below its signal line, and the histogram is negative. That suggests bullish momentum has weakened and buyers may need stronger follow-through before the next sustained advance.

The moving averages also paint a mixed picture. The 20-day SMA sits below the 50-day SMA, a short-term bearish signal. However, the 50-day SMA remains above the 200-day SMA, which supports the longer-term bullish trend.

Key resistance stands near $93, close to the 100-day SMA of $89.32 and the 100-day EMA of $92.82. On the downside, $80 is an important support level, with the 200-day SMA at $76.47 providing additional technical support.

Earnings And Analyst OutlookThe company’s next major catalyst is its estimated earnings release on August 6.

Wall Street expects Rocket Lab to report a loss of 7 cents per share, compared with a loss of 13 cents a year earlier. Revenue is projected to rise to $231.79 million from $144.50 million in the prior-year quarter.

The stock carries a consensus Buy rating with an average analyst price forecast of $104.73. Recent analyst actions include:

Bank of America Securities: Buy, raised price forecast to $115 (June 30) Cantor Fitzgerald: Overweight, maintained $96 price forecast (June 30) Citizens: Market Outperform, raised price forecast to $130 (June 30) Rocket Lab Top ETF ExposureSignificance: Because RKLB carries such a heavy weight in these funds, any significant inflows or outflows for these ETFs will likely force automatic buying or selling of the stock.

Price Action: Iridium Communications shares were down 0.31% at $50.93 and Rocket Lab shares were up 1.37% at $84.55 at the time of publication on Wednesday, according to Benzinga Pro data.

Rocket Lab Corporation (RKLB - Free Report) continues strengthening its long-term growth profile through an expanding portfolio of contract assets generated across its launch services and space systems businesses. As of March 31, 2026, Rocket Lab reported $75 million in contract assets, up from $61.6 million as of Dec. 31, 2025, highlighting continued progress across long-term customer contracts.

Why Willis Towers Watson (WTW) is a Top Value Stock for the Long-Term
WLTW Willis Towers Watson
FMP Stock News
Original source text
For new and old investors, taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals. Zacks Premium provides lots of different ways to do both.

Featuring daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, full access to the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens, the research service can help you become a smarter, more self-assured investor.

It also includes access to the Zacks Style Scores.

What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores, developed alongside the Zacks Rank, are complementary indicators that rate stocks based on three widely-followed investing methodologies; they also help investors pick stocks with the best chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.

Based on their value, growth, and momentum characteristics, each stock is assigned a rating of A, B, C, D, or F. The better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform; an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on.

Growth ScoreGrowth investors, on the other hand, are more concerned with a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score examines things like projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow to find stocks that will experience sustainable growth over time.

How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank, which is a proprietary stock-rating model, employs earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to make building a winning portfolio easier.

But it can feel overwhelming to pick the right stocks for you and your investing goals with over 800 top-rated stocks to choose from.

Stock to Watch: Willis Towers Watson (WTW - Free Report) Based in London, the United Kingdom, Willis Towers Watson plc is a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company. Willis Towers caters to the need of designs and delivers solutions that manage risk, optimize benefits, and expand capabilities, among others of large companies and mid-market and small businesses across the world.

WTW is a #3 (Hold) on the Zacks Rank, with a VGM Score of B.

It also boasts a Value Style Score of B thanks to attractive valuation metrics like a forward P/E ratio of 15.04; value investors should take notice.

Four analysts revised their earnings estimate higher in the last 60 days for fiscal 2026, while the Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.05 to $19.55 per share. WTW also boasts an average earnings surprise of +4.1%.

With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Value and VGM Style Scores, WTW should be on investors' short list.

Investors Heavily Search Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (WSM): Here is What You Need to Know
WSM Williams-Sonoma
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Williams-Sonoma (WSM - Free Report) has been one of the most searched-for stocks on Zacks.com lately. So, you might want to look at some of the facts that could shape the stock's performance in the near term.

Over the past month, shares of this seller of cookware and home furnishings have returned +4.4%, compared to the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +1.6% change. During this period, the Zacks Retail - Home Furnishings industry, which Williams-Sonoma falls in, has gained 9.4%. The key question now is: What could be the stock's future direction?

Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.

Revisions to Earnings EstimatesRather than focusing on anything else, we at Zacks prioritize evaluating the change in a company's earnings projection.

Williams-Sonoma is expected to post earnings of $2.03 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +1.5%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate has changed +0.3%.

For the current fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $9.39 points to a change of +6.2% from the prior year. Over the last 30 days, this estimate has changed +0.6%.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $10.25 indicates a change of +9.1% from what Williams-Sonoma is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed +0.7%.

With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool -- the Zacks Rank -- is a more conclusive indicator of a stock's near-term price performance, as it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for Williams-Sonoma.

For Williams-Sonoma, the consensus sales estimate for the current quarter of $1.91 billion indicates a year-over-year change of +4.2%. For the current and next fiscal years, $8.15 billion and $8.51 billion estimates indicate +4.4% and +4.4% changes, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryWilliams-Sonoma reported revenues of $1.81 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +4.4%. EPS of $1.93 for the same period compares with $1.85 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.8 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +0.05%. The EPS surprise was +7.22%.

Williams-Sonoma is graded D on this front, indicating that it is trading at a premium to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

Bottom LineThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Williams-Sonoma. However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

In the case of McKesson, the consensus sales estimate of $104.39 billion for the current quarter points to a year-over-year change of +6.7%. The $432.83 billion and $464.69 billion estimates for the current and next fiscal years indicate changes of +7.3% and +7.4%, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryMcKesson reported revenues of $96.3 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +6%. EPS of $11.69 for the same period compares with $10.12 a year ago.

ValuationNo investment decision can be efficient without considering a stock's valuation. Whether a stock's current price rightly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects is an essential determinant of its future price performance.

McKesson is graded A on this front, indicating that it is trading at a discount to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

Bottom LineThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about McKesson. However, its Zacks Rank #2 does suggest that it may outperform the broader market in the near term.
