Key Takeaways MasTec to acquire Superior Group for about $1.65B to expand mission-critical infrastructure capabilities.MTZ expects the deal to be immediately accretive to revenues, adjusted EBITDA, adjusted EPS and cash flow.MasTec says Superior strengthens relationships with hyperscalers while expanding inside-the-fence services. MasTec, Inc. (MTZ - Free Report) is doubling down on the fast-growing data center and mission-critical infrastructure market with the acquisition of Electrical Specialists, Inc., doing business as The Superior Group, for approximately $1.65 billion. The deal is expected to close in mid-to-late July 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
MTZ stock gained 2.6% during yesterday’s after-hours trading session, post the buyout announcement.
MasTec Strengthening Data Center Infrastructure CapabilitiesHeadquartered in Columbus, OH, Superior is a full-service electrical contractor with a history dating back to 1925, having grown into one of the largest electrical contractors in the United States, serving data centers, healthcare, entertainment and industrial customers. Its expertise spans design, engineering, prefabrication, modular manufacturing, construction, integrated systems and long-term maintenance services.
The acquisition advances MasTec's strategy of building a scaled infrastructure platform to capitalize on accelerating demand for data centers, power and mission-critical infrastructure. While MasTec has traditionally focused on "outside-the-fence" infrastructure such as power generation, transmission, substations and communications, Superior expands its capabilities "inside the fence" through electrical systems and integrated building services.
Immediate Financial Benefits Expected by MTZSuperior has delivered double-digit compound growth in revenues and net income over the past four years through 2025, supported by rising demand for mission-critical infrastructure. For 2026, Superior is projected to generate $1.6-$1.7 billion in revenues and $225-$250 million in adjusted EBITDA.
MasTec expects the acquisition to be immediately accretive to revenues, adjusted EBITDA, adjusted EPS and operating cash flow. For the remainder of 2026, Superior is expected to contribute $800-$900 million in revenues, $100-$115 million in adjusted EBITDA and $0.50-$0.65 in adjusted EPS. Looking ahead to 2027, management projects revenues of $2.2-$2.5 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $250-$275 million.
Beyond the financial upside, the buyout deal strengthens MTZ’s relationships with leading hyperscalers, data center developers and technology customers while adding one of the nation's largest self-performing electrical workforces. With Superior's experienced leadership team remaining in place, MasTec appears well-positioned to benefit from the ongoing buildout of America's AI-driven digital infrastructure.
MasTec’s Capital Allocation ApproachMasTec maintains a disciplined, returns-focused capital allocation strategy that balances strategic acquisitions with long-term shareholder value creation. It prioritizes investments that expand its capabilities in high-growth infrastructure markets, including power delivery, clean energy, communications and data center construction, while ensuring acquisitions align with its financial return objectives.
Backed by a strong balance sheet and projected 2026 operating cash flow of approximately $1 billion, MasTec retains ample financial flexibility to pursue value-accretive opportunities. Management remains focused on maximizing return on invested capital through prudent capital deployment, operational execution and selective acquisitions, positioning the company to strengthen its competitive advantage while supporting sustainable earnings growth and long-term shareholder returns.

Joby Aviation (NYSE:JOBY | JOBY Price Prediction) is developing commercial air taxis while its stock trades near a 52-week low. CEO JoeBen Bevirt calls 2026 “a key inflection point” for the eVTOL pioneer, with first passenger service in Dubai this year and a Toyota manufacturing joint venture in hand.
Yet shares sit at $8.92, down 32.42% year to date. Can this stock reach $53 by 2030, a 500% gain?
Why Joby Shares Are Stuck Despite an Improving Narrative The disconnect between story and price is severe. Over the past month JOBY is down 6.6%, and the one-year return sits at negative 15.45%. June brought a brutal Russell rebalancing that saw nearly 40% of the public float turn over, and short interest surged into summer.
Joby burned $509.9 million in operating cash in 2025 and another $144.4 million in Q1 2026. Stock-based compensation grew to $127.9 million last year, adding dilution on top of equity raises. With a beta of 2.706, every macro wobble hits harder here than in almost any stock. This is a market waiting for FAA certification proof.
Wall Street Sees 25% Upside. Our Model Says More. The analyst consensus target of $11.12 implies just 24.66% upside. The rating distribution is telling: 1 Strong Buy, 2 Buy, 5 Hold, 2 Sell, and 1 Strong Sell. Our model is more constructive.
The one-year base case sits at $11.69, with a bull case of $15.10. Stretch to five years and the bull case reaches $29.84, a 234.47% total return. Confidence is moderate at 0.5. Analysts anchored on 27% bullish sentiment are underweighting how quickly revenue could inflect once FAA type certification lands.
The Path to $53 Per Share Reaching $53 from today’s price of $8.92 requires a 494.2% gain. With forward EPS of negative $1.20, the forward multiple at $53 is negative 44x. Earnings must flip positive first, then compound rapidly. Joby needs revenue to explode from $53.4 million in 2025 through the $105 to $115 million guided for 2026, then toward projected $458 million by 2028.
Act now: the analyst who called NVIDIA in 2010 just named his top 10 AI stocks — and Joby Aviation didn't make the cut. Grab the names FREE today.
The catalyst stack is real. The Toyota joint venture announced in late June (51% Toyota, 49% Joby) pushed shares up 10.54% on July 6 and brings a conditional $250 million second tranche. The Dayton facility targets 500 aircraft per year.
A Jefferies survey found 79% of respondents interested in trying eVTOLs. Bevirt says Joby has begun to “shift our focus from how and when we’ll go to market, to how many aircraft we can produce and where to deploy them.” The primary risk is FAA type certification slippage, which would push every downstream milestone right and force dilutive capital raises.
Where Joby Trades Today vs Its Earnings Power With forward EPS still negative at negative $1.20, forward P/E is not meaningful. Price-to-sales sits at a lofty 107.5x trailing revenue. Shares are 47% below the 52-week high of $20.95 and only 15% above the low of $7.75. Over five years the stock is down 10.44%. The bull case only works if 2026 to 2028 revenue delivers on guidance and unit economics turn positive.
Is $53 Realistic? My Verdict Reaching $53 by 2030 requires a 494.2% gain, well above even our five-year bull case of $29.84. It is a stretch case well beyond our base scenario.
Three things must go right: FAA type certification lands on schedule, the Toyota manufacturing venture drives cost per aircraft down materially, and Dubai plus U.S. eIPP operations validate real passenger economics. Another year of certification delay would force dilutive capital raises and derail the thesis. We’ve outlined the blueprint for how Joby Aviation could reach $53 in 2030.

Key Takeaways ARM's total revenues increased 20% year over year to $1.49 billion in fiscal Q4 2026.Licensing and other revenues surged 29% to $819 million.Royalty revenues grew 11% to $671 million on Armv9 adoption, Arm CSS and expanding data center deployments. Arm Holdings (ARM - Free Report) continues to capitalize on robust demand for its semiconductor intellectual property, with its latest quarterly results highlighting licensing as a key growth engine.
In the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, total revenues climbed 20% year over year to $1.49 billion. While the royalty business remained a significant contributor, licensing and other revenues once again delivered the strongest growth, underscoring sustained customer demand for ARM’s technology.
The company continues to benefit from rising investments in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, mobile devices and custom silicon. As chipmakers increasingly design specialized processors for AI workloads and high-performance computing, ARM’s architecture has become an essential foundation for product development, supporting a healthy pipeline of new licensing agreements and long-term customer relationships.
Licensing and other revenues surged 29% year over year to $819 million, making it the primary driver of ARM’s top-line expansion during the quarter. Growth was supported by previously signed agreements, as well as the timing of several high-value licensing contracts.
Meanwhile, ARM’s royalty business continued to provide a stable stream of recurring revenues. Royalty revenues increased 11% year over year to $671 million, driven by broader adoption of Armv9, increasing deployment of Arm Compute Subsystems (CSS), and the growing use of Arm-based processors in data center infrastructure.
For investors, the takeaway is straightforward: strong licensing demand continues to strengthen Arm Holdings’ competitive position. As customers accelerate investments in AI infrastructure and next-generation computing, ARM appears well-positioned to benefit from a growing pipeline of licensing opportunities while simultaneously expanding its high-margin royalty base, providing multiple long-term drivers of sustainable growth.
How Arm Holdings Stacks Up Against Key U.S. PeersNVIDIA (NVDA - Free Report) dominates the AI accelerator market with its GPUs and networking platforms. Unlike Arm Holdings, which primarily generates revenue through licensing and royalties, NVIDIA designs and sells complete hardware and software solutions. While NVIDIA's growth is driven by direct chip sales, ARM benefits as more semiconductor companies adopt its CPU architecture to develop AI-optimized processors, making the two companies complementary in many AI deployments rather than direct competitors.
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD - Free Report) competes in CPUs, GPUs and data center processors, focusing on designing and selling semiconductor products. ARM, in contrast, licenses its processor architecture to a broad ecosystem of chipmakers. As demand for custom AI chips and energy-efficient computing grows, AMD competes through product innovation, while ARM benefits from broader adoption of its intellectual property across multiple customers and end markets.
ARM’s Price Performance, Valuation and EstimatesThe stock has surged a massive 175% year to date, significantly underperforming the industry’s 46% rally.

Key Takeaways SPCX shares declined 6.8% during their inaugural trading session in the Nasdaq-100, finishing at $149.47 Analysts covering the stock maintain a consensus price target of $236.45, representing approximately 58% upside from Tuesday’s closing price A minimum of 12 out of 17 IPO underwriting firms have begun coverage — every single one carrying a Buy-equivalent recommendation The highest price target comes from Raymond James at $800, with analysts describing Starship as “the defining industrial innovation of our generation” Following SpaceX’s massive $25 billion bond offering, secondary market prices weakened, sparking concerns about capital requirements ahead SpaceX’s (SPCX) inaugural trading session as a member of the Nasdaq-100 failed to deliver the momentum bulls were anticipating. Shares ended the day at $149.47, representing a 6.8% decline that pushed the stock beneath its $150 opening level from the June 12 initial public offering.
Space Exploration Technologies Corp., SPCX
The decline occurred amid broader weakness across technology sectors. The Nasdaq composite index retreated 1.2%, with semiconductor names leading losses.
SpaceX initially priced its public offering at $135 per share. Following a rally that pushed shares above the $200 threshold, the stock has since retreated, with Tuesday’s session marking the lowest closing price since going public.
Market participants had anticipated that index inclusion would generate substantial buying pressure. Index-tracking mutual funds and ETFs managing approximately $800 billion in combined assets were forecast to purchase SPCX shares for portfolio rebalancing. However, much of this anticipated demand may have already been reflected in prices, evidenced by the stock’s nearly 6% gain during the week preceding its index addition.
“Short-term traders and hedge funds were positioning ahead of the Nasdaq inclusion,” explained Jay Hatfield, CEO at Infrastructure Capital Advisors.
Notwithstanding the selloff, analyst sentiment remains overwhelmingly positive. A flood of coverage initiations arrived Tuesday — exactly 16 trading sessions post-IPO. According to Bloomberg data, analysts are projecting an average price target of $236.45, implying approximately 58% appreciation from SPCX’s closing price.
Wall Street Projects Substantial Gains Among the 17 financial institutions that served as SpaceX IPO underwriters, a minimum of 12 have published their assessments. Every single rating carries a Buy-equivalent recommendation.
The most optimistic forecast originates from Raymond James, which established an $800 price objective. Analyst Brian Gesuale characterized Starship as representing “the defining industrial innovation of our generation.”
Deutsche Bank established a $255 valuation, highlighting reusable rocket technology, the Starlink satellite network, and what analysts described as a “clear advantage” in space-based AI infrastructure deployment.
JPMorgan forecasts 5,000 Starship missions by 2031. RBC projects 2,440 launches by 2030. The substantial divergence between these projections underscores the significant forecast uncertainty.
Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas estimates SpaceX will require $84 billion in annual capital from 2027 through 2034. Goldman Sachs frames the requirement as $270 billion in debt financing between 2026 and 2030.
The singular skeptical perspective emerged from Morningstar analyst Nicolas Owens, who operated independently of IPO underwriting activities. He characterized certain peer valuations as “a bit fantastical.”
Credit Market Signals Uncertainty Immediately following its public debut, SpaceX executed a $25 billion bond issuance — marking the company’s maiden debt market transaction — primarily intended to refinance existing bank credit facilities.
While the initial offering appeared successful, secondary market performance deteriorated rapidly. Bonds maturing in 2036 saw their spread versus U.S. Treasury securities widen to 1.65 percentage points as of Monday, expanding from the original 1.4 percentage point spread at issuance.
SpaceX maintains investment-grade ratings from major credit agencies and possesses over $100 billion in cash reserves against a $2 trillion market capitalization. Nevertheless, uncertainty persists regarding cash consumption rates and prospective financing requirements.
“Considerable uncertainty remains in the market,” noted Davis Hebert, managing director at CreditSights.

Marine Le Pen has officially declared her candidacy for the 2027 French presidential election, replacing her protégé Jordan Bardella as the far-right National Rally’s candidate. This move comes after a Paris court reduced her ineligibility ban, allowing her to run. Le Pen’s return has caused a shift in dynamics within the party, as Bardella, who had been leading in polls, is now sidelined. Current polling suggests either Le Pen or Bardella could secure the presidency, with Le Pen’s reinstatement potentially consolidating far-right support under her leadership.

Key Takeaways The return of Marine Le Pen as the National Rally’s presidential candidate appears to have increased her odds in prediction markets for the 2027 election. Market pricing suggests participants view Le Pen’s candidacy as strengthening her competitive position, with a notable rise in her implied probability of winning. The sidelining of Jordan Bardella indicates a consolidation of the far-right vote under Le Pen, suggesting a strategic shift within the National Rally. What to Watch Watch for any alliances or endorsements between Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella, as this could impact their respective standings in the polls. The upcoming ruling from the Cour de Cassation will also be critical, as it affects Le Pen’s ability to campaign freely. Market participants responded enthusiastically to these developments.

This wasn’t an isolated Alibaba phenomenon. JD.com climbed 3.8%, Baidu advanced 6.4%, and Tencent posted gains of nearly 4%. Chinese technology giants, which had underperformed throughout much of 2026, suddenly recaptured investor interest.
Capital Reallocation Dynamics The larger narrative involves a meaningful shift in capital allocation patterns. Throughout recent months, artificial intelligence investment themes concentrated heavily on semiconductor manufacturers — especially South Korean companies like SK Hynix and American giant Micron. These equities fueled substantial gains in Korea’s KOSPI index and Taiwanese markets.
Wednesday reversed that trend dramatically. The KOSPI plunged as much as 5.4% as capital rotated away from chip-heavy markets. Micron declined 4.7%, while SK Hynix dropped 5.7%.
Market participants appear to be seeking more attractive valuations within the AI investment theme. Chinese internet companies, which had tumbled into bear market territory in Hong Kong, present lower price-to-earnings multiples compared to their elevated U.S. and Korean peers.
Contributing to the optimistic sentiment surrounding Chinese AI capabilities: Reuters disclosed that DeepSeek is developing proprietary chip technology to support AI infrastructure. The Information separately reported that Zhipu is evaluating the design of its own AI processors — indications that China’s artificial intelligence sector is advancing into hardware development.
American Technology Sector Faces Headwinds While Chinese technology stocks attracted buying interest, American markets indicated weakness. Nasdaq 100 futures fell 1.1% after President Trump suggested the cease-fire arrangement between the United States and Iran may be unraveling. Rising oil prices unsettled investors across multiple sectors.
Alibaba’s ADRs had experienced significant pressure throughout 2026, declining 33% year-to-date prior to Wednesday’s rally. The weakness stemmed from investor anxiety regarding the company’s substantial expenditures on artificial intelligence infrastructure, including its Qwen large-language model, which management has positioned as a competitor to ChatGPT.
A Barron’s analysis published Monday contended that Chinese AI enterprises are strategically positioned to compete effectively, highlighting the comparatively low pricing of their chatbot services relative to offerings from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Alphabet.
Alibaba is scheduled to release comprehensive earnings results within the coming days. Wednesday’s preliminary briefing indicated that financial results, particularly regarding profitability metrics, may exceed conservative expectations.
The Hang Seng Tech Index had previously entered bear market territory earlier this year due to declining confidence in Chinese e-commerce operations and apprehensions about China’s macroeconomic conditions.
The crypto market has started July on a stronger note, with investor confidence slowly returning after weeks of heavy selling. Although Bitcoin briefly climbed above $64,000 before pulling back to around $61,933, several altcoins have continued to post strong gains.
According to blockchain analytics platform Santiment, this suggests that capital is quietly rotating back into oversold altcoins as traders move past the fear that dominated the market in late June.
Altcoins Lead the Weekly RallySantiment reported that several altcoins delivered impressive weekly returns. MemeCore led the market with an 89% surge, followed by Cardano (ADA), which gained 25%. DEXE climbed 23%, while Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and WhiteBIT (WBT) advanced 22% and 20%, respectively.
Ethereum has also shown fresh strength after reclaiming the $1,800 level. Santiment’s on-chain data shows that wallets holding less than 0.01 ETH increased their share of the supply by 1.82% over the past month. At the same time, wallets holding between 100 and 100,000 ETH added another 1.73%.
The data suggests both retail investors and large holders are accumulating Ethereum, while most selling pressure is coming from mid-sized holders, exchange liquidity providers, and short-term traders. This balanced accumulation is viewed as a positive sign for Ethereum heading into the second half of 2026.
July Could Bring Stronger Altcoin MomentumCrypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe says Bitcoin appears to be either bottoming or moving through an accumulation phase. As Bitcoin pushes higher and fear continues to fade, he expects altcoins to accelerate even further.
My main thesis remains the same.
I think that we're either bottoming on $BTC or we're accumulating.
The more that the fear spreads away, and the higher Bitcoin goes, the higher the altcoins will move.
— Michaël van de Poppe (@CryptoMichNL) July 5, 2026 His outlook includes Bitcoin breaking above $65,000, followed by altcoins moving out of their year-long downtrend. He expects one to two months of strong momentum before a correction in September or October, with another major rally likely during the fourth quarter.
Analysts Urge Investors to Stay SelectiveDespite the improving outlook, analysts say not every altcoin will recover equally.
Darkfost from CryptoQuant noted that nearly 40% of altcoins are still trading below 25% of their all-time highs, highlighting how weak much of the sector remains.

— CryptoQuant.com (@cryptoquant_com) July 8, 2026 With more than 53 million cryptocurrencies now listed and around 60,000 new tokens launching every day, liquidity is spread across a much larger market than in previous cycles. As a result, analysts recommend focusing only on fundamentally strong projects.
Meanwhile, market commentator Crypto Thro said Altseason 2026 is beginning to build as liquidity gradually returns to altcoins. However, analysts agree that careful project selection will be more important than simply following the broader market rally.
Guys its confirmed the #Altseason 2026 loading heavily.
The bull run is heating up, this is when #Altcoins often start to pump.

TLDR Exxon Mobil shares gained approximately 3% during Wednesday’s pre-market session following the company’s projection of a roughly $5 billion second-quarter earnings increase Escalating tensions from the U.S.-Iran conflict drove Brent crude to a Q2 average of $96.68 per barrel, representing a 23% sequential increase The company anticipates upstream profit gains of roughly $1.6B alongside refining earnings improvements of approximately $2.6B, though partially mitigated by nearly $1B in conflict-related operational losses Following President Trump’s announcement at the NATO Summit that the Iran ceasefire has ended, oil prices jumped higher, propelling ConocoPhillips up 3.6% and Chevron up 2.7% Analyst consensus forecasts Q2 EPS at $3.63 versus $1.64 in the prior-year period; the stock holds a Moderate Buy rating with an average analyst price target of $172.78 Shares of Exxon Mobil (XOM) advanced approximately 3% in Wednesday’s pre-market hours following the energy giant’s regulatory filing that indicated substantial second-quarter profit growth.
Exxon Mobil Corporation, XOM
The disclosure revealed an anticipated earnings increase of approximately $5 billion relative to the first quarter, propelled by elevated crude oil prices stemming from the U.S.-Israeli military engagement with Iran and strengthening refining profitability.
During the three-month period ending in June, Brent crude oil averaged $96.68 per barrel, marking a 23% climb from the previous quarter. In April, prices peaked at $109.27 per barrel — the highest level witnessed since 2022.
The company’s upstream operations are projected to deliver a profit enhancement of roughly $1.6 billion based on midpoint guidance, while its refining division is expected to contribute an additional ~$2.6 billion stemming from timing impacts related to derivative contract positions.
Additionally, Exxon anticipates recognizing nearly $2.6 billion in earnings from derivative instruments linked to physical hydrocarbon deliveries — a dramatic turnaround from the multi-billion dollar loss the company absorbed during Q1 from comparable hedging strategies.
What’s Driving the Oil Price Surge The Middle Eastern military confrontation, which commenced in February, effectively paralyzed operations through the Strait of Hormuz for extended periods. This critical maritime passage handles approximately one-fifth of worldwide oil transportation, and its disruption introduced significant geopolitical risk into energy markets.
On Wednesday, oil prices experienced another sharp rally after President Trump declared at the NATO Summit that the ceasefire agreement with Iran has concluded. This announcement immediately impacted the entire energy sector.
Competing oil majors experienced similar momentum. ConocoPhillips shares climbed 4.69% while Chevron advanced 3.52% during concurrent pre-market trading.
Conflict-related operational interruptions are projected to reduce Exxon’s combined upstream and downstream performance by approximately $1 billion during the quarter — a notable headwind, though substantially overshadowed by favorable pricing dynamics.
What Analysts Expect Wall Street consensus projections call for Q2 adjusted earnings of $15.7 billion, approximately triple the first-quarter figure, according to LSEG data. Earnings per share are anticipated at $3.63, representing an increase from $1.64 during the comparable quarter last year.
Exxon presently holds a Moderate Buy consensus rating among Wall Street analysts, supported by 14 Buy recommendations and 5 Hold ratings.
The consensus price target stands at $172.78, suggesting approximately 22% potential upside from current trading levels. Year-to-date, the stock has already appreciated 19%.
These substantial profit projections may attract political scrutiny. President Trump has consistently urged energy companies to increase efforts toward reducing gasoline costs for American households.
British energy major Shell similarly highlighted strong Q2 trading performance on Tuesday, attributing gains to elevated oil prices — though market observers noted these benefits could diminish if Middle Eastern tensions subside.
Exxon is scheduled to release complete second-quarter financial results on July 31.
France’s highest court, the Court of Cassation, may deliver a decision on Marine Le Pen’s appeal by early April 2027. This timeline intersects with the 2027 presidential election, set for April 2027, adding an element of uncertainty to Le Pen’s candidacy. Le Pen, leader of the far-right National Rally, has contested a Paris court ruling that upheld her conviction for embezzling EU funds but reduced her electoral ban. The final ruling could determine whether she must comply with specific legal restrictions, potentially impacting her ability to campaign effectively.
Marine Le Pen’s chances of being the National Rally’s candidate for the 2027 election are currently priced at 92.5% YES. This represents a significant increase from earlier figures, indicating that market participants largely expect her to secure the candidacy despite ongoing legal challenges. However, the potential delay in the court’s ruling introduces a measure of uncertainty that could influence market dynamics as the appeal progresses.
Observers note that the appeal deadline is July 17, 2026. If no appeal is filed by then, Le Pen’s conviction will stand, requiring her to adhere to the conditions imposed by the court. This situation could affect her campaign strategy and the National Rally’s decision-making process regarding its candidate selection for the upcoming presidential race.
Key Takeaways The announcement of a potential court ruling by early April 2027 appears to introduce uncertainty regarding Marine Le Pen’s candidacy. Pricing suggests that despite this uncertainty, confidence remains high that Le Pen will be the National Rally’s candidate, with a current 92.5% YES probability. The possibility of a delayed court decision could impact Le Pen’s campaign strategy and influence National Rally’s internal dynamics. What to Watch Watch for developments surrounding the July 17, 2026 appeal deadline, as this will clarify whether Le Pen’s legal status will be contested further. Any official statements from the National Rally or Le Pen regarding her candidacy could shift market expectations. Additionally, monitor the Court of Cassation’s schedule, as an earlier ruling could resolve existing uncertainties and significantly impact the political landscape leading up to the 2027 election.

Key Highlights Evercore ISI lifted OXY from Underperform to Outperform, increasing the price target from $58 to $65. Brent crude jumped 6% to reach $78.50 per barrel following U.S. military action against Iran. President Trump announced the U.S.-Iran peace framework was “over” before a NATO gathering. OXY shares gained approximately 3.8% in pre-market hours as broader indices declined. Evercore projects approximately 8% yearly free cash flow per share expansion until 2030. Occidental Petroleum (OXY) delivered a robust performance Wednesday morning, gaining close to 3.8% during pre-market hours. The rally stemmed from two catalysts: a significant rating upgrade from Evercore ISI and a substantial jump in global crude prices.
Occidental Petroleum Corporation, OXY
Evercore made a dramatic shift in its stance on OXY, elevating the rating from Underperform directly to Outperform—a notable two-level jump. The firm simultaneously lifted its price objective from $58 to $65. Analysts cited reduced debt levels and improved capital allocation efficiency as primary drivers for the revised outlook.
The shares had declined approximately 15% during the preceding month, creating more appealing entry points for investors ahead of this rebound. Wells Fargo maintained its Buy recommendation on OXY earlier this month as well.
Trading at $52.88 in pre-market activity, OXY stood roughly 1.6% above its 20-day moving average, though remaining beneath both the 50-day and 100-day moving averages. The relative strength index registered 45.33.
Critical resistance levels appear around $61, while support holds near $52.50, aligned with the 20-day simple moving average.
Brent Crude Rallies on Middle East Military Action Brent crude spiked 6% to reach $78.50 per barrel on Wednesday, based on Trading Economics data. The rally followed U.S. Central Command’s announcement of military strikes targeting Iran, justified by attacks on commercial vessels in international shipping lanes.
President Trump, addressing reporters in Ankara before a NATO gathering, declared the memorandum of understanding with Iran was “over.” This statement effectively terminated the temporary ceasefire arrangement between the nations.
University of Michigan economist Justin Wolfers offered a straightforward assessment on X: “Trouble in Iran = Turmoil in global energy markets = Expect higher gas prices to follow.”
OXY demonstrates greater sensitivity to crude price fluctuations compared to many industry competitors, making Wednesday’s oil market surge a significant positive catalyst for the shares.
Evercore’s Extended Timeline Outlook for OXY Evercore’s rating change extended beyond immediate oil price dynamics. The investment firm presented a multi-year investment case, projecting free cash flow per share expansion of roughly 8% annually through 2030. This forecast assumes West Texas Intermediate crude maintains $75 per barrel pricing and production volumes remain relatively stable.
The 8% growth projection does fall short of the approximately 20% compound annual growth Evercore anticipates for competitors including Chevron (CVX), ConocoPhillips (COP), EOG Resources (EOG), and Diamondback Energy (FANG). However, Evercore contends that OXY’s reduced drilling expenses and slower base production decay diminish its maintenance capital requirements, supporting enhanced cash generation over extended periods.
The firm additionally anticipates OXY will resume share buyback programs during the latter half of 2028.
Meanwhile, broader equity markets moved in the opposite trajectory. The S&P 500 declined 0.5%, the Dow retreated 0.3%, and the Nasdaq tumbled 1.2% as geopolitical uncertainties pressured investor sentiment. Nasdaq futures dropped 1.32% while S&P 500 futures fell 0.89%.
Analysts maintain projections for year-over-year earnings improvement at OXY for the ongoing quarter.
JB Hunt (JBHT - Free Report) is expected to deliver a year-over-year increase in earnings on higher revenues when it reports results for the quarter ended June 2026. This widely-known consensus outlook gives a good sense of the company's earnings picture, but how the actual results compare to these estimates is a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price.
The stock might move higher if these key numbers top expectations in the upcoming earnings report, which is expected to be released on July 15. On the other hand, if they miss, the stock may move lower.
While the sustainability of the immediate price change and future earnings expectations will mostly depend on management's discussion of business conditions on the earnings call, it's worth handicapping the probability of a positive EPS surprise.
Zacks Consensus EstimateThis trucking and logistics company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $1.71 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of +30.5%.
Revenues are expected to be $3.15 billion, up 7.5% from the year-ago quarter.
Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 0.86% higher over the last 30 days to the current level. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period.
Investors should keep in mind that an aggregate change may not always reflect the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts.
Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise
Earnings WhisperEstimate revisions ahead of a company's earnings release offer clues to the business conditions for the period whose results are coming out. Our proprietary surprise prediction model -- the Zacks Earnings ESP (Expected Surprise Prediction) -- has this insight at its core.
The Zacks Earnings ESP compares the Most Accurate Estimate to the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the quarter; the Most Accurate Estimate is a more recent version of the Zacks Consensus EPS estimate. The idea here is that analysts revising their estimates right before an earnings release have the latest information, which could potentially be more accurate than what they and others contributing to the consensus had predicted earlier.
Thus, a positive or negative Earnings ESP reading theoretically indicates the likely deviation of the actual earnings from the consensus estimate. However, the model's predictive power is significant for positive ESP readings only.
A positive Earnings ESP is a strong predictor of an earnings beat, particularly when combined with a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), 2 (Buy) or 3 (Hold). Our research shows that stocks with this combination produce a positive surprise nearly 70% of the time, and a solid Zacks Rank actually increases the predictive power of Earnings ESP.
Please note that a negative Earnings ESP reading is not indicative of an earnings miss. Our research shows that it is difficult to predict an earnings beat with any degree of confidence for stocks with negative Earnings ESP readings and/or Zacks Rank of 4 (Sell) or 5 (Strong Sell).
How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for JB Hunt? For JB Hunt, the Most Accurate Estimate is higher than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bullish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +0.36%.
On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #2.
So, this combination indicates that JB Hunt will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate.
Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue?Analysts often consider to what extent a company has been able to match consensus estimates in the past while calculating their estimates for its future earnings. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.
For the last reported quarter, it was expected that JB Hunt would post earnings of $1.45 per share when it actually produced earnings of $1.49, delivering a surprise of +2.76%.
Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates three times.
Bottom LineAn earnings beat or miss may not be the sole basis for a stock moving higher or lower. Many stocks end up losing ground despite an earnings beat due to other factors that disappoint investors. Similarly, unforeseen catalysts help a number of stocks gain despite an earnings miss.
That said, betting on stocks that are expected to beat earnings expectations does increase the odds of success. This is why it's worth checking a company's Earnings ESP and Zacks Rank ahead of its quarterly release. Make sure to utilize our Earnings ESP Filter to uncover the best stocks to buy or sell before they've reported.
JB Hunt appears a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.

Management noted that the platform is now approaching 500,000 active subscribers, reflecting sustained demand and effective customer acquisition efforts. Healthy retention rates, combined with targeted marketing campaigns, continue to support consistent subscriber growth and strengthen customer engagement.
Nuuly's financial performance also demonstrated improving operating efficiency. The business generated $10 million in operating profit, translating into a 6% operating margin during the quarter. Operating leverage from the expanding subscriber base more than offset continued investments in marketing, underscoring the platform's ability to scale profitably while maintaining a disciplined approach to long-term growth.
Profitability also continued to improve as Nuuly scaled its operations. Subscription segment gross profit increased 39%, while the gross margin expanded by 85 basis points to 28.7%. Higher sales, supported by a growing subscriber base, helped drive stronger unit economics and demonstrated the business's ability to generate increasing profitability alongside rapid revenue growth.
Management remains focused on expanding Nuuly while improving profitability. The company believes its ability to grow subscribers alongside stronger operating economics highlights the scalability of the business and reinforces confidence in its significant long-term growth potential. Our model estimates that the net sales of the Nuuly segment will increase 20% year over year in fiscal 2027.

But which of these two stocks is more attractive to value investors? We'll need to take a closer look to find out.
The best way to find great value stocks is to pair a strong Zacks Rank with an impressive grade in the Value category of our Style Scores system. The Zacks Rank favors stocks with strong earnings estimate revision trends, and our Style Scores highlight companies with specific traits.

Marex Group PLC (MRX - Free Report) could be a solid choice for investors given its recent upgrade to a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy). This upgrade is essentially a reflection of an upward trend in earnings estimates -- one of the most powerful forces impacting stock prices.
The Zacks rating relies solely on a company's changing earnings picture. It tracks EPS estimates for the current and following years from the sell-side analysts covering the stock through a consensus measure -- the Zacks Consensus Estimate.
Since a changing earnings picture is a powerful factor influencing near-term stock price movements, the Zacks rating system is very useful for individual investors. They may find it difficult to make decisions based on rating upgrades by Wall Street analysts, as these are mostly driven by subjective factors that are hard to see and measure in real time.
Therefore, the Zacks rating upgrade for Marex Group PLC basically reflects positivity about its earnings outlook that could translate into buying pressure and an increase in its stock price.
Most Powerful Force Impacting Stock PricesThe change in a company's future earnings potential, as reflected in earnings estimate revisions, and the near-term price movement of its stock are proven to be strongly correlated. That's partly because of the influence of institutional investors that use earnings and earnings estimates for calculating the fair value of a company's shares. An increase or decrease in earnings estimates in their valuation models simply results in higher or lower fair value for a stock, and institutional investors typically buy or sell it. Their bulk investment action then leads to price movement for the stock.
For Marex Group PLC, rising earnings estimates and the consequent rating upgrade fundamentally mean an improvement in the company's underlying business. And investors' appreciation of this improving business trend should push the stock higher.
Harnessing the Power of Earnings Estimate RevisionsEmpirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock movements, so it could be truly rewarding if such revisions are tracked for making an investment decision. Here is where the tried-and-tested Zacks Rank stock-rating system plays an important role, as it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions.
The Zacks Rank stock-rating system, which uses four factors related to earnings estimates to classify stocks into five groups, ranging from Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) to Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell), has an impressive externally-audited track record, with Zacks Rank #1 stocks generating an average annual return of +25% since 1988. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>> .
Earnings Estimate Revisions for Marex Group PLCFor the fiscal year ending December 2026, this company is expected to earn $5.35 per share, which is unchanged compared with the year-ago reported number.
Analysts have been steadily raising their estimates for Marex Group PLC. Over the past three months, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the company has increased 4.1%.
Bottom LineUnlike the overly optimistic Wall Street analysts whose rating systems tend to be weighted toward favorable recommendations, the Zacks rating system maintains an equal proportion of "buy" and "sell" ratings for its entire universe of more than 4,000 stocks at any point in time. Irrespective of market conditions, only the top 5% of the Zacks-covered stocks get a "Strong Buy" rating and the next 15% get a "Buy" rating. So, the placement of a stock in the top 20% of the Zacks-covered stocks indicates its superior earnings estimate revision feature, making it a solid candidate for producing market-beating returns in the near term.

The upgrade of Marex Group PLC to a Zacks Rank #1 positions it in the top 5% of the Zacks-covered stocks in terms of estimate revisions, implying that the stock might move higher in the near term.
Gold is starting to face difficult trading sessions. Over the last 2 trading sessions, XAU/USD has shown a renewed weakness bias, with a decline of just over 3.00%.
This selling pressure has held as new tensions in the Middle East appear to be reactivating the appeal of relevant substitute assets for gold, such as the bond market and the U.S. dollar. If this dynamic continues, the current selling pressure could become even more relevant in gold price movements over the next few trading sessions.
Is the Middle East becoming a concern again? Although there had been a potential temporary agreement to reduce the conflict in the Middle East and normalize the passage of ships around the Strait of Hormuz, an attack on 3 commercial vessels was recently reported. This event led the United States to launch new military actions against Iran and revoke the permit that allowed Iran to sell oil openly to the global market.
In fact, the renewed tensions have reached a point where comments from President Trump suggested that the ceasefire with Iran was over, making the possibility of reaching formal negotiations even more complicated.
The impact on risk perception has started to become important. Once again, the risk premium around the conflict has increased, while the WTI oil barrel has risen close to 10% over the last 2 sessions. This could be reviving fears of inflationary pressures for 2026 and once again reflecting the possibility of more aggressive central banks to control these additional pressures.
This effect has not been entirely favorable for gold. Although gold is usually considered the safe-haven asset par excellence, the conflict in the Middle East has given more weight, for months, to other substitute safe-haven markets such as bonds and the dollar.
In fact, looking at the recent behavior of the 10-year U.S. bond market, a new increase in interest rates stands out, with yields now approaching the 4.6% area. In addition, the market maintains an aggressive upward slope in the short term, showing greater potential appeal in this substitute market for gold, which appears to be reacting more strongly to the increase in tensions in the Middle East.
Source: TradingEconomics
The increase in the appeal of the bond market could also be generating greater demand for the U.S. dollar. The currency could be benefiting both from international capital inflows into the bond market and from the escalation of the conflict, as the dollar usually acts as a liquidity safe-haven currency during episodes of higher tension in the Middle East.
This renewed demand is already reflected in the recent movements of the DXY index, which measures the dollar’s strength against its main peers. Since the new escalation of the conflict and amid solid interest rates in the bond market, the indicator has continued to move above the 101-point area, maintaining a relevant upward slope. This indicates that demand for the U.S. dollar remains important.
Source: TradingEconomics
All of this is crucial for gold, because a more attractive bond market and a stronger dollar can create a difficult scenario for the metal to regain strength. At the moment, gold is not being viewed as a liquidity safe-haven asset as attractive as the dollar, and it also does not pay interest like bonds.
This could be generating a loss of demand, as the market seeks exposure to substitute assets for gold. If the appeal of these markets continues to strengthen due to the reactivation of the conflict in the Middle East, gold could remain in a difficult position to recover ground in the short term. As a result, selling pressure on XAU/USD could remain relevant over the next few trading sessions.
Technical outlook for Gold
Source: StoneX, Tradingview
Bearish trend line comes back into play: Despite gold’s recovery attempts in previous weeks, the most relevant technical event on the daily chart continues to be the long bearish trend line that has dominated the market for months. Given the lack of relevant bullish moves, this structure remains the most important dominant pattern to watch. If selling pressure manages to stabilize in the short term, a potential extension of this bearish trend line could remain relevant in the average movements of XAU/USD over the coming trading weeks.
RSI: Now, the RSI indicator line maintains a bearish slope below the neutral 50 line. This indicates that the average selling impulse of the last 14 sessions remains relevant in the chart’s movements. If this behavior continues, a significant selling bias could remain important over the next trading sessions.
TRIX: The TRIX indicator line continues to show downward movements below the neutral 0 level. This suggests that the average strength of long-term exponential moving averages remains in bearish territory. For now, this reading shows that, in the broader chart outlook, there is still a relevant selling bias to consider over the next few sessions.
Key levels to watch:
4,345 USD – Crucial resistance: This level corresponds to relevant highs that align with the major bearish trend line and coincides with the barrier marked by the 50-period simple moving average. Price movements returning to this level could put the current bearish trend line at risk and open room for a more relevant buying bias over the coming weeks.
4,182 USD – Near-term barrier: This recent neutral zone coincides with important retracements from recent weeks. If price remains too close to this level, a phase of indecision could be reinforced, potentially opening room for a short-term sideways range.
3,886 USD – Critical support: This level is associated with relevant lows from October 2025 and is considered the next most important bearish barrier. Movements toward this zone could once again highlight a clearer selling bias and extend the bearish trend line as the dominant technical structure over the following weeks.

ABN AMRO’s Georgette Boele notes that the Euro’s relationship with energy prices has evolved, with recent Oil and Gas gains again weighing on EUR/USD. Earlier in the US-Iran conflict, higher energy prices hurt the Euro (EUR), but later the pair became more driven by Federal Reserve (Fed) and European Central Bank (ECB) expectations. She now sees EUR/USD guided by central bank expectations, yield spreads and Eurozone energy risks.
Euro sensitivity returns to energy moves"At the start of the US-Iran conflict, higher energy prices weighed on the euro against the US dollar. During the conflict, however, EUR/USD became less sensitive to energy prices and more sensitive to expectations for the Fed and the ECB."
"When a Memorandum of Understanding was announced, energy prices fell sharply, but the euro gained little against the US dollar because markets were focused on expectations of Fed rate hikes."
"As a result, oil and gas prices rose strongly, supporting the currencies of energy exporters such as the Norwegian krone, Canadian dollar and US dollar. At the same time, currencies of energy importers weakened."
"The euro again declined against the US dollar as energy prices rose."
"Going forward, the direction in EUR/USD will depend on expectations for the Fed and the ECB, inflation expectations, changes in nominal and real yield spreads between the US and Europe, and perceptions of possible energy shortages in the eurozone."

–Carl Wolf, Garmin Vice President Aviation Sales, Marketing, Programs & Support
A next-level flight display system
The AXIS family of flight displays features three display sizes — 11.6-inch landscape, 8-inch portrait1 and 8-inch landscape1— that include highly responsive touchscreen displays as well as physical controls for quick access to key functions. Each display can be configured as a primary flight display (PFD) or multi-function display (MFD) with an optional engine indication system (EIS). Pilots can maximize their situational awareness with full-screen or split-screen options, leveraging a familiar yet modernized user interface. The flight displays are configurable for both experimental and certified aircraft and provide incredible flexibility for installation across many aircraft types.
First-of-its-kind integration
AXIS 11.6-inch displays are optionally available with a TSO certified IFR GPS, COMM radio, NAV radio and audio panel all built into a single display. This combined capability from a single display creates a highly integrated panel experience and enables a simpler and more cost-effective installation. The VHF COMM radio offers 10 watts of transmit power, supports 8.33khz frequency tuning and standby COMM monitoring, allowing pilots to monitor a standby frequency while tuned to the active ATC frequency. Pilots can access the flight plan across displays and easily load waypoints or VORs, holds, GPS and ILS procedures and more. The built-in 4-place intercom audio panel includes dual-comm switching with support for one external radio, comm playback and Bluetooth capability for music and phone calls. Available in three certified (TSO) variants, the base version offers a PFD/MFD, while the GPS/COMM and GPS/NAV/COMM models include an IFR GPS and integrated audio panel. Experimental and LSA aircraft can leverage both certified and non-TSO versions of the 11.6-inch displays.
Enhanced situational awareness
Important information is easily accessible on the PFD including primary flight data, as well as the horizontal situation indicator (HSI) which can include an embedded map or traffic view. Widgets provide additional situational awareness on the PFD by displaying three compact views of MFD functions including map, flight plan, weather, traffic and more. Enhanced Synthetic Vision Technology (SVT™) provides 3D depictions of terrain, obstacles, runway and taxiway markings and more, allowing for pilots to clearly interpret their surroundings. Pathway rectangles will help pilots to visualize the highway in the sky, depicting their flight path including enroute legs, flight track, course intercepts and more. Additionally, 3D SafeTaxi® provides pilots with a three-dimensional, exocentric view of the airport environment directly on their PFD, reducing potential confusion by giving a clear, localized picture of taxiways, runways, hangars and surrounding buildings.
The MFD features dynamic mapping, ADS-B traffic2, weather2, waypoint information (including terminal charts) and expanded EIS. Additionally, an HDMI video input on each display allows for live-camera video monitoring.
Innovative safety tools
AXIS supports many of Garmin's award-winning safety enhancing technologies. A dedicated emergency button is located on the display bezel, allowing pilots to quickly access emergency procedure options if needed. Smart Glide™ – a Garmin Autonomí™ technology – helps pilots in loss of engine power emergencies by efficiently navigating to an airport in range and, if the aircraft is equipped with either a GFC™ 500 or GFC 600, the system can auto-engage to fly the aircraft enroute.
Terminal safety solutions include award-winning Runway Occupancy Awareness (ROA), a solution that uses ADS-B traffic to alert the crew of potential runway incursions caused by nearby airborne aircraft, taxiing aircraft and ground vehicles. Additionally, optional SurfaceWatch™ runway monitoring technology provides general situational awareness in airport environments as well as visual and aural cues to help prevent pilots from taking off or landing on a taxiway.
Advanced engine monitoring
The EIS within AXIS provides aircraft with real-time data to help better manage engine operation and protect aircraft engines. Large, prominent engine gauges provide color-coded pointers and data bands that indicate normal operating ranges, cautions and exceedances. Bar gauges display numerical values for additional precision. With an interface adapter and sensors, AXIS can serve as the primary EIS display in piston-powered aircraft equipped with most normally aspirated or turbocharged 4- to 6-cylinder engines, plus radial and turbine-powered experimental aircraft3. Upon landing, flight and engine data logs can be automatically uploaded to flyGarmin.com via the Garmin Pilot™ app or the GDL® 60 datalink1 and PlaneSync™ service. Pilots can optionally choose to share these logs with analysis services such as FlySto or SavvyAviation to gain deeper insights on engine health, maintenance updates, flight analysis and more.
Stay connected
Advanced connectivity options allow pilots to stay more connected than ever before. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allow pilots to connect with Garmin Pilot in-flight as well as share GPS, traffic, weather, flight plans and more. PlaneSync, powered by the GDL 60 datalink1, will support automatic database downloads3, remote aircraft status4 as well as automatic flight log uploading. A built-in USB-C data port supports data transfer capabilities like downloading databases and offloading flight logs. The USB-C port will also support device charging up to 27W. Additionally, Database Concierge allows pilots to download updates to their Garmin Pilot app and wirelessly transfer to their compatible avionics via a compatible mobile device.
Team X simplifies installations
Team X – the experimental aircraft specialists at Garmin – were the voice for experimental builders and pilots throughout the development of AXIS. Composed of engineers, pilots and aircraft builders, they understand the flexibility and affordability needed to execute an experimental aircraft build. That's why AXIS features a streamlined, easy upgrade path from G3X Touch that utilizes most existing sensors, LRUs and even the same panel cutout and existing mounting holes. Simplified wiring, configuration and additional built-in I/O makes AXIS an even faster and more scalable system. Team X is committed to providing support throughout AXIS upgrades for experimental aircraft builders.
Available for certified and experimental aircraft
The AXIS 11.6-inch flight displays have achieved FAA/EASA Technical Standard Order (TSO) and will be available in July. The 8-inch displays are expected to be available in early 2027. The FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) will cover hundreds of models of certified Part 23 Class I/II piston singles and twins1. The difference is that Nebius, Iren, and Applied Digital take on significant risk by owning GPUs, data centers, and the infrastructure to operate them, while Penguin Solutions doesn’t. It is the true enabler, focusing on clients with the capacity to build their own HPC systems and providing them with the engineering, hardware, software, and services to make it all work. This includes long-term contracts for data center operation and maintenance, which is the real story in AI. While the data center buildout gets the headlines today, it will be day-to-day operations and maintenance that drive revenue and cash flow in the long term.
Penguin Solutions Earnings Results Signal Game-Changing ShiftPenguin Solutions' Q3 fiscal 2026 results and guidance were so hot, underpinned by AI demand, as to be comparable to NVIDIA's NASDAQ: NVDA, relatively speaking. Revenue grew by nearly 48% year-over-year to $479 million, more than $55 million above MarketBeat’s reported consensus estimates and about 1,360 basis points better than expected. Strength was driven by AI, with Integrated Memory more than doubling year over year (YOY). Integrated Memory is critical to Penguin Solutions' business, as it helps unblock the memory bottleneck by enabling HPC datacenters to pool memory across clusters, improving latency and efficiency.
Margin was another critical factor in this equation. Long criticized for its profitability metrics, the company appears to be turning a corner. While gross margins were compressed, internal improvements and revenue leverage aided operating margin expansion, allowing top-line strength to carry through. Highlights include record-setting GAAP and adjusted operating income, with adjusted operating income up by 67% compared to the 48% top-line advance. Looking ahead, the strength is expected to continue, as reflected in the guidance.
The guidance was as eye-popping as the revenue, with full-year revenue now expected to grow by 22%, a 1,000 bps improvement from the prior quarter. Within that, the adjusted gross margin target was improved by 50 bps, and adjusted earnings per share (EPS) by 45 cents or 2,040 bps, and all may be cautious. There is clear momentum in the data center industry, and Penguin Solutions has emerged as a top-tier service provider. With this in play, investors should expect results to remain strong for the foreseeable future.
Penguin’s fiscal Q3 strength is also seen in its balance sheet. While cash is down year-to-date, the drawdown is minimal; the company is well-capitalized, and metrics, including receivables, inventory, and equity, reflect strength. Receivables more than doubled to over $700 million, more than offsetting the cash decline, while inventory also more than doubled and long-term debt declined. The impact on equity was substantial, increasing by nearly 11.5%.
Penguin Solutions Q3 Results Affirm Analysts' Support: Price Targets RisePenguin Solutions' fiscal Q3 results affirmed the bullish posture analysts had displayed ahead of the release, prompting some to lift their price targets again following the report. Commentary focused on the massive top-line beat and margin improvements, which directly refute the critics.

The takeaway is that 10 analysts rate this stock as a Moderate Buy, there is a 70% Buy-side bias, and the price targets are rising. The consensus price target lags price action, but this is not a concern, as it rose by 40% on a trailing 3-month basis as of early July, with high-end targets forecasting fresh all-time highs.
Institutional activity is also bullish, with them owning more than 97% of the shares and aggressively buying at a $3-to-$1 pace over the trailing 12 months. They provide solid support and limit downside risk, setting the stage for retail investors to drive shares higher. The likely outcome is that institutions continue to underpin support in future quarters while improving visibility leads retail money into the market.
The chart action is robust. PENG shares have rallied strongly since April, rising by more than 200%. Price action has pulled back from its peak, but MACD convergences suggest this rally is far from over. Convergences, a sign of strength, exist across multiple time frames, including monthly, weekly, and daily chart action, a convergence in its own right, suggesting new highs are likely. The critical support and resistance targets are near $60 and $75; a move below $60 is unexpected, while a move above $70 is more likely. The biggest risk is the valuation, which is high at approximately 35x earnings. However, the fiscal Q3 results affirm a healthy growth outlook, putting this stock at value levels within a few years.

Key Takeaways NVTS is targeting 800V AI power systems with new GaN and SiC products for AI power systems.NVTS launched new GaN and SiC products, with multiple AI projects advancing toward commercial production.NVTS' AI infrastructure revenues rose 50% sequentially as high-power markets drove first-quarter growth. Navitas Semiconductor (NVTS - Free Report) is positioning itself to benefit from the growing shift toward 800-volt (800V) power architecture in AI data centers. As AI workloads become more power-intensive, hyperscalers are moving to higher-voltage power systems to improve efficiency and support higher power levels. This shift is expected to increase the demand for NVTS' gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC) power chips and create a significant growth opportunity for the company's high-power business.
The move to 800V power systems increases the amount of GaN and SiC content used in each AI system. Management expects power supply units to increase from about 5-10 kilowatts to 18.5 kilowatts for NVIDIA systems and up to 25-30 kilowatts for other hyperscalers. As power levels increase, Navitas expects the amount of SiC content per rack to increase by about 2.5 times. GaN demand is expected to rise as more power conversion moves inside AI racks, where higher efficiency and faster switching are needed. These factors create a larger revenue opportunity per AI system for NVTS.
To support this opportunity, Navitas has launched new GaN and SiC products for AI power systems. During the first quarter of 2026, the company launched a 20-kilowatt 800V-to-6V GaN platform for AI data centers and introduced new Gen 5 SiC products for AI power supplies. The above-mentioned products are being tested by OEMs and power supply vendors, and several projects have moved from device-level testing to board-level testing, bringing them closer to commercial production.
The AI opportunity is already supporting the company's business. Revenues in the first quarter increased 18% sequentially, driven by growth in high-power markets. Further, AI infrastructure revenues grew 50% sequentially, and the company expects this business to continue growing through 2026. As more AI data centers adopt 800V power systems, Navitas is well-positioned to benefit from higher chip content and increasing demand for its power semiconductor products.
How Competitors Fare Against NVTSThe company faces strong competition from ON Semiconductor (ON - Free Report) and STMicroelectronics (STM - Free Report) in the race to supply high-voltage solutions for AI data centers.
In June 2026, ON Semiconductor introduced GaNEXUS, a new GaN power semiconductor portfolio designed for AI data centers, industrial automation, robotics and energy infrastructure applications. This new portfolio includes GaNEXUS FETs with voltage ratings from 40V to 650V, along with 650V GaNEXUS Smart devices that include built-in protection features to simplify system design and improve reliability. The new devices provide faster switching speeds, lower switching losses, higher power density and better thermal performance than conventional silicon-based power devices to help customers build smaller and more efficient power systems.
STMicroelectronics introduced new 700V GaN power semiconductors in May 2026, designed to improve energy efficiency and power density in AI servers, robotics, industrial systems and advanced consumer applications. The new PowerGaN devices are designed for high-voltage power supplies and support reliable operation in high-power applications. The devices should help improve power conversion efficiency beyond what is possible with conventional silicon-based technologies.

The pullback looks more like consolidation after that pop than a clean reversal of the longer-term downtrend. Figma is still working back from a drawdown of about 85% from its 52-week high, a setup that can keep volatility elevated on red-market days.
Figma stock is trending lower. Why is FIG stock trading lower? What Is Driving Figma’s Stock Today?Figma’s bull case is also leaning on a growth-versus-peers valuation argument, with the stock framed at 8x estimated 2027 EV/sales versus a peer average around 5.9x. Bank of America also modeled revenue growth of 35.6% in 2026 and 23% in 2027, versus peer averages of 19.3% and 15.7%.
Critical Price Levels To Watch For FIGFrom a trend perspective, FIG is still trying to repair damage after a steep 12-month slide of 81.25%, and the longer-term moving averages remain a headwind. The stock is trading about 31.8% below its 200-day SMA ($31.80) and about 1.7% below its 100-day SMA ($22.06), even though it’s holding above the 20-day SMA ($19.36) and 50-day SMA ($20.46).
The moving-average structure is still bearish: the 20-day SMA is below the 50-day SMA, and the death cross (50-day below 200-day) that formed in January is still in place. That said, MACD is above its signal line with a positive histogram, which suggests downside pressure is easing versus the prior downswing (it’s a momentum "improving" read, not a full trend flip by itself).
Key Resistance: $25.50 — a nearby pivot area where rebounds can stall before the stock can reclaim longer-term trend levels Key Support: $18.00 — a nearby zone close to where buyers have previously stepped in, not far above the $16.60 52-week low How Figma Operates in the Digital Product SpaceFigma is focused on turning ideas into digital products and experiences, with a browser-based platform that spans more of the software creation lifecycle than "design" alone. It sells subscriptions for access to its platform, which is why enterprise adoption and retention metrics tend to matter as much as near-term product headlines.
That business framing is central to the AI debate: the bullish view is that AI increases the number of people building digital products and makes workflows more complex, pushing teams toward a centralized collaboration layer.

It doesn't matter your age or experience: taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals for all investors. Luckily, Zacks Premium offers several different ways to do both.
Featuring daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, full access to the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens, the research service can help you become a smarter, more self-assured investor.
Zacks Premium includes access to the Zacks Style Scores as well.
What are the Zacks Style Scores? Developed alongside the Zacks Rank, the Zacks Style Scores are a group of complementary indicators that help investors pick stocks with the best chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.
Based on their value, growth, and momentum characteristics, each stock is assigned a rating of A, B, C, D, or F. The better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform; an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on.
The Style Scores are broken down into four categories:
Value ScoreFinding good stocks at good prices, and discovering which companies are trading under their true value, are what value investors like to focus on. So, the Value Style Score takes into account ratios like P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, Price/Cash Flow, and a host of other multiples to highlight the most attractive and discounted stocks.
Growth ScoreGrowth investors, on the other hand, are more concerned with a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score examines things like projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow to find stocks that will experience sustainable growth over time.
Momentum ScoreMomentum trading is all about taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook, and these investors live by the saying "the trend is your friend." The Momentum Style Score can pinpoint good times to build a position in a stock, using factors like one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates.
VGM ScoreWhat if you like to use all three types of investing? The VGM Score is a combination of all Style Scores, making it one of the most comprehensive indicators to use with the Zacks Rank. It rates each stock on their combined weighted styles, which helps narrow down the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum.
How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank is a proprietary stock-rating model that harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to help investors build a successful portfolio.
Investors can count on the Zacks Rank's success, with #1 (Strong Buy) stocks producing an unmatched +23.94% average annual return since 1988, more than double the S&P 500's performance. But the model rates a large number of stocks, and there are over 200 companies with a Strong Buy rank, plus another 600 with a #2 (Buy) rank, on any given day.
With more than 800 top-rated stocks to choose from, it can certainly feel overwhelming to pick the ones that are right for you and your investing journey.
That's where the Style Scores come in.
To maximize your returns, you want to buy stocks with the highest probability of success. This means picking stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B. If you find yourself looking at stocks with a #3 (Hold) rank, make sure they have Scores of A or B as well to ensure as much upside potential as possible.
As mentioned above, the Scores are designed to work with the Zacks Rank, so any change to a company's earnings outlook should be a deciding factor when picking which stocks to buy.
A stock with a #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell) rating, for instance, even one with Scores of A and B, will still have a declining earnings forecast, and a greater chance its share price will fall too.
Thus, the more stocks you own with a #1 or #2 Rank and Scores of A or B, the better.
Stock to Watch: Copa Holdings (CPA - Free Report) Copa Holdings is based in Panama City, Panama. The company, through its main subsidiaries — Copa Airlines and Copa Colombia — offers airline passenger and cargo services. Copa Airlines was founded in 1947. Copa Columbia was purchased in 2005.
CPA is a #3 (Hold) on the Zacks Rank, with a VGM Score of A.
It also boasts a Value Style Score of A thanks to attractive valuation metrics like a forward P/E ratio of 9.03; value investors should take notice.
For fiscal 2026, four analysts revised their earnings estimate upwards in the last 60 days, and the Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $2.33 to $16.54 per share. CPA boasts an average earnings surprise of +6.5%.
With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Value and VGM Style Scores, CPA should be on investors' short list.
Sandisk (SNDK +0.39%) stock is bouncing back from yesterday's meltdown on Wednesday -- and color me unsurprised.
Shares of the flash memory maker closed down 7.3% yesterday amid concerns about a possible increase in DRAM production by semiconductor giant Samsung in Korea. Sandisk regained 4.3% this morning, however, through 10:30 a.m. ET, as investor worries eased.
What Korea means (or doesn't mean) for Sandisk Samsung reported strong Q2 earnings on Tuesday, but paired this report with promises to capture even more of the DRAM market by building new factories in South Korea. This initially concerned investors, who worried that Samsung might ruin a good thing -- low supply driving high profits for memory companies -- by solving the supply problem. But here's the thing:
Samsung is building factories to manufacture and sell DRAM.
Sandisk doesn't make DRAM.
Sandisk makes NAND flash memory.
Today's Change
(
0.39
%) $
6.33
Current Price
$
1,624.03
What this means for Sandisk stock To an extent, both DRAM and NAND support high-bandwidth memory functions performed by artificial intelligence computer chips, but they're not interchangeable. Thus, Samsung's increased DRAM production doesn't directly threaten Sandisk's NAND profits. For this reason I think investors' reaction in immediately selling off Sandisk stock on Samsung's news was an overreaction.
That said, I get why investors are jumpy. Sandisk stock has gained an incredible 3,300% over the past year, and that also smacks of overreaction to the global memory deficit -- which will be solved in time, either by buyers using memory more efficiently, or by finding new sources of supply (i.e., China), or by manufacturers building more memory chips.
One way or another, Sandisk's 70% operating profit margin won't last forever, and when it falls, Sandisk's earnings will decline, and its share price will look more expensive.
Selling Sandisk stock before that happens -- not after -- seems prudent to me.

Shares of TeraWulf (NASDAQ:WULF) are up 12% to $22.67 in mid-morning trading, leading a broad rebound across AI-infrastructure names that were hammered on Tuesday. IREN (NASDAQ:IREN) stock is up 7% to $42.55, while peers Applied Digital (NASDAQ:APLD) and Cipher Mining (NASDAQ:CIFR) are up 3% to $31.53 and up 5% to $21.45, respectively.
Today’s move mirrors yesterday’s decline, when TeraWulf shares dropped 8%, IREN slid 7%, and Applied Digital fell 6%. There’s no fresh company-specific catalyst driving the bounce. Instead, the group is riding a broader risk-on tape, with beaten-down Chinese tech and other high-beta names also rebounding.
All four are former Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) miners repurposing power and data-center capacity for AI compute leasing. That pivot has made them among the most volatile names in the market, and today’s snap-back is a reminder of how quickly sentiment can flip in the neocloud cohort.
TeraWulf Leads the Rebound TeraWulf stock is the standout mover today. The underlying bull story remains its previously announced 20-year, roughly $19 billion Anthropic AI data-center lease, disclosed earlier this week. That contract anchors a long-tail revenue stream tied directly to AI compute demand.
Beyond Anthropic, TeraWulf continues to scale its high-performance computing (HPC) platform. TeraWulf’s HPC lease revenue hit $21.02 million in Q1 FY2026, more than 60% of total revenue, and the company recently closed a $1 billion equity raise to fund its Hawesville, Kentucky campus. Moreover, the company’s total contracted revenue exceeds $13 billion across anchor tenants including Core42, Fluidstack, and Alphabet‘s (NASDAQ:GOOGL | GOOGL Price Prediction) Google.
Despite this week’s whipsaw, TeraWulf shares are up 99% year to date (YTD), making WULF one of the strongest performers in the group. The consensus analyst target price of $36.32 sits well above current levels, and Wall Street ratings skew heavily positive with five strong buys and 12 buys.
IREN, Applied Digital and Cipher Mining Ride Along IREN stock is bouncing without any discrete headline. The company’s landmark five-year, $3.4 billion AI Cloud contract with NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA), paired with up to $2.1 billion in NVIDIA investment vesting as GPU infrastructure scales, remains the centerpiece of its AI Cloud pivot. IREN shares are up 12% YTD despite a rough June.

Applied Digital shares are grinding higher after a bruising week. The company recently reported Q3 FY2026 revenue of $126.64 million, up 139% year over year (YoY), and signed a 15-year lease with an investment-grade hyperscaler for 200 MW at Polaris Forge 2. Applied Digital stock is up 25% YTD.
Cipher Mining stock is extending a strong 2026, with the rebranded Cipher Digital holding 700 MW of contracted HPC capacity plus anchor leases with Fluidstack/Google and Amazon‘s (NASDAQ:AMZN) AWS targeting October 2026 energization. Cipher Mining shares are up 39% YTD, and Needham recently raised its price target to $25.
Bull Case vs. Bear Case The bull case for the AI-infrastructure cohort is straightforward. Hyperscaler capex is running at eye-watering rates, power is the binding constraint, and these companies control gigawatts of contracted capacity. Multi-year leases with credit-enhanced anchor tenants transform historically cyclical Bitcoin miners into utility-like AI landlords.
The bear case is equally important, however. These are pre-profit, highly volatile names that can swing sharply in both directions. TeraWulf reported an EPS loss of -$1.01 in Q1 FY2026, weighed by a $216.32 million non-cash warrant revaluation charge, and IREN posted a Q3 FY2026 net loss of $247.8 million. This week’s action, an 8% drop followed by an 11% bounce, tells the story on volatility.
What to Watch Today’s rebound needs to hold into the close to confirm the reversal thesis. Investors can watch how AI-adjacent names trade alongside the broader risk-on tape, and whether analyst follow-through emerges on TeraWulf’s Anthropic lease. For those building exposure to the neocloud theme, position sizing should stay modest given the volatility profile these stocks have shown all year.
Traders may keep TeraWulf, IREN, Applied Digital, and Cipher Mining shares active through the afternoon. A close near session highs would set up a constructive tone heading into the next batch of hyperscaler capex updates.

Time-Sensitive: Allegations Focus on Futu Holdings' Failure to Disclose CSRC Non-Compliance That Allegedly Overstated Financial Results by Hundreds of Millions
, /PRNewswire/ -- Levi & Korsinsky, LLP alerts investors in Futu Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: FUTU) of a pending securities class action. Class Period: May 24, 2023 through May 27, 2026. Check if you can recover your investment losses or contact Joseph E. Levi, Esq. at [email protected] | (212) 363-7500.
Futu shareholders lost $34.10 per share when the stock fell 27.5% on May 22, 2026, after Reuters reported a sweeping CSRC crackdown on brokers illegally facilitating cross-border capital flows. The Court has set August 25, 2026 as the deadline to apply for lead plaintiff appointment.
How Alleged CSRC Non-Compliance Tainted Reported Financial Results
The lawsuit asserts that Futu continued conducting securities, public fund sales, and futures business in mainland China without required licenses throughout the three-year Class Period. During this time, the Company reported rapid growth in paying clients, rising from 1,528,103 in Q1 2023 to over 2.8 million by mid-2025, and total client assets expanding from HK 465.5 billion to nearly HK 974 billion. The action claims these headline figures were materially misleading because they incorporated revenue and client metrics derived from business the Company was not authorized to conduct.
The proposed CSRC penalty confirms the scale: RMB 470 million in alleged illegal gains subject to confiscation, plus RMB 1.38 billion in fines, totaling approximately USD 271 million. As alleged, those illegal gains flowed directly into the financial results that management touted to investors each quarter.
Regulatory Compliance Representations in SEC Filings
In its FY2023 20-F, the Company told investors it had "taken and may continue to take rectification measures" and that it had "limited information to accurately predict if any disciplinary action or punishment will be taken." The lawsuit contends these disclosures were misleading because they framed regulatory risk as speculative when, as alleged, the Company was actively operating in violation of CSRC requirements and knew the business generating its growth metrics lacked proper authorization.
The Company removed its Futubull app from Chinese app stores in May 2023 but allegedly continued servicing existing mainland accounts Quarterly earnings releases throughout 2023, 2024, and into 2025 allegedly included revenue from unauthorized mainland operations SEC filings framed potential penalties as hypothetical while the Company allegedly knew its rectification measures were insufficient The RMB 1.85 billion proposed penalty amounts to approximately USD 271 million, compared to Futu's full-year 2023 net income of HK$4.28 billion (approximately USD 548 million) Speak with an attorney about recovering damages or call (212) 363-7500.
"Investors deserve transparency about material risks that could affect their investments. When a company's growth metrics are built on business it is not authorized to conduct, the resulting financial statements may not reflect the true economic picture available to shareholders," stated Joseph E. Levi, Esq.
Why Disclosure Adequacy Allegedly Matters to FUTU Investors
The gap between what management disclosed and what allegedly was happening is central to this action. Each quarter, the Company reported paying client growth, total client assets, and trading volumes without separating metrics attributable to authorized versus unauthorized operations. As claimed in the filing, investors had no way to assess what portion of the Company's reported financial performance depended on business that could be unwound by regulators at any time.
When the CSRC Notification Letter arrived on May 22, 2026, the market repriced FUTU shares immediately, erasing 34.10 per share in a single session. A second decline of 5.31 per share followed on May 28 when Q1 2026 results reflected the penalty's impact on net income.

Frequently Asked Questions About the FUTU Lawsuit
Q: Who is eligible to join the FUTU investor lawsuit? A: Investors who purchased FUTU stock or securities between May 24, 2023 and May 27, 2026 and suffered financial losses may be eligible. Eligibility is based on purchase date and documented losses, not on whether you still hold the shares.
Q: How much did FUTU stock drop? A: Shares fell approximately 27.5%, a decline of $34.10 per share, after the company disclosed receipt of a CSRC Notification Letter proposing RMB 1.85 billion in penalties for unauthorized cross-border securities operations. A further 4.8% decline followed days later when Q1 2026 earnings reflected the penalty impact.
Q: What specific misstatements does the FUTU lawsuit allege? A: The complaint alleges Futu Holdings made materially false or misleading statements regarding its regulatory compliance status and the sustainability of financial results that included revenue from unauthorized mainland China operations. When the true state was revealed, the stock price declined sharply.
Q: What do FUTU investors need to do right now? A: Gather brokerage records including purchase dates, share quantities, and prices paid. Contact Levi & Korsinsky for a free, no-obligation evaluation at [email protected] or (212) 363-7500. No immediate action is required to remain eligible as a class member.
Q: What is a lead plaintiff and why does it matter? A: A lead plaintiff is the investor appointed by the court to represent the entire class. Lead plaintiffs are typically investors with the largest documented losses. Being appointed does not increase individual recovery but gives direct oversight of how the case is run.
Q: What if I already sold my FUTU shares -- can I still recover losses? A: Yes. Eligibility is based on when you purchased, not whether you still hold them. Investors who bought during the class period and sold at a loss may still participate.
Q: What does it cost me to participate? A: Nothing. Securities class actions are handled on a pure contingency basis. No upfront fees, no retainer, no out-of-pocket costs.
Q: What if I missed the lead plaintiff deadline? A: The deadline applies only to investors seeking lead plaintiff appointment. Class members who miss it can still participate in any settlement or recovery.

XRP remains under pressure across both the USDT and BTC pairs, with sellers continuing to control the broader trend despite several short-lived recovery attempts. While the USDT chart shows buyers defending an important support area, the XRP/BTC pair continues to trade near multi-month lows, highlighting the token’s persistent relative weakness against the market leader.
Ripple Price Analysis: The USDT Pair On the daily timeframe, XRP continues to trade inside a well-defined descending channel, keeping the broader market structure firmly bearish. It remains below the 100-day and 200-day moving averages, both of which are sloping lower and acting as dynamic resistance above $1.25. This alignment suggests that momentum still favors sellers unless a meaningful trend reversal develops.
After losing the $1.25 level in early June, XRP found demand around the critical $1 region, where buyers have repeatedly stepped in to prevent further downside. This zone has now become the most important support to monitor. As long as it holds, the market could continue forming a short-term base.
On the upside, the first major resistance sits around $1.25. As mentioned earlier, this area also coincides with the descending 100-day moving average and the higher boundary of the channel, making it a significant hurdle for any sustained recovery. A successful breakout above this region would expose the 200-day moving average around $1.45, while losing the $1 support could accelerate another leg lower toward the channel’s lower trendline around $0.80.
Meanwhile, the RSI has been making higher lows despite the price making lower lows near $1, creating a developing bullish divergence. Although this does not confirm a reversal on its own, it suggests that bearish momentum might be exhausted and that buyers could attempt another recovery if resistance levels begin to weaken.
The BTC Pair Against Bitcoin, XRP continues to paint a weaker technical picture. Again, the pair remains below both major moving averages, which continue to trend lower and reinforce the long-term bearish structure.
After several weeks of sideways trading, XRPBTC is once again testing the key horizontal support around 1,700 sats. This level has acted as the floor for the recent consolidation, and another breakdown attempt is now underway. A confirmed daily close below 1,700 sats would likely invalidate the current range and increase the probability of an extension toward the next major demand zone around 1,450 to 1,500 sats.
To regain bullish momentum, buyers first need to reclaim the 1,850 sats resistance area, which also aligns closely with the declining 100-day moving average. Until then, every rally continues to appear corrective within the broader downtrend, which could lead to more depreciation for XRP against Bitcoin.
It also includes access to the Zacks Style Scores.
What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores, developed alongside the Zacks Rank, are complementary indicators that rate stocks based on three widely-followed investing methodologies; they also help investors pick stocks with the best chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.
Each stock is given an alphabetic rating of A, B, C, D or F based on their value, growth, and momentum qualities. With this system, an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on, meaning the better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform.
The Style Scores are broken down into four categories:
Value ScoreValue investors love finding good stocks at good prices, especially before the broader market catches on to a stock's true value. Utilizing ratios like P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, Price/Cash Flow, and many other multiples, the Value Style Score identifies the most attractive and most discounted stocks.
Growth ScoreGrowth investors, on the other hand, are more concerned with a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score examines things like projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow to find stocks that will experience sustainable growth over time.
Momentum ScoreMomentum traders and investors live by the saying "the trend is your friend." This investing style is all about taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook. Employing factors like one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates, the Momentum Style Score can indicate favorable times to build a position in high-momentum stocks.
VGM ScoreIf you like to use all three kinds of investing, then the VGM Score is for you. It's a combination of all Style Scores, and is an important indicator to use with the Zacks Rank. The VGM Score rates each stock on their shared weighted styles, narrowing down the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum.
How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank A proprietary stock-rating model, the Zacks Rank utilizes the power of earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings outlook, to help investors create a successful portfolio.
But it can feel overwhelming to pick the right stocks for you and your investing goals with over 800 top-rated stocks to choose from.
That's where the Style Scores come in.
To have the best chance of big returns, you'll want to always consider stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B, which will give you the highest probability of success. If you're looking at stocks with a #3 (Hold) rank, it's important they have Scores of A or B as well to ensure as much upside potential as possible.
Stock to Watch: Astera Labs, Inc. (ALAB - Free Report) Astera Labs develops semiconductor-based connectivity solutions tailored for cloud and AI infrastructure. Its Intelligent Connectivity Platform includes high-speed, mixed-signal semiconductor products combined with COSMOS, a proprietary system management and optimization software suite. The company’s solutions are designed to enhance performance, bandwidth, and reliability in next-generation data centers.
ALAB is a #3 (Hold) on the Zacks Rank, with a VGM Score of B.
Momentum investors should take note of this Computer and Technology stock. ALAB has a Momentum Style Score of A, and shares are up 12.1% over the past four weeks.
One analyst revised their earnings estimate higher in the last 60 days for fiscal 2026, while the Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.02 to $2.94 per share. ALAB also boasts an average earnings surprise of +21.4%.
With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Momentum and VGM Style Scores, ALAB should be on investors' short list.
Space Exploration Technologies (SPCX +1.82%) went public last month, and out of the gate, it was red hot, rising to nearly $226 -- a big increase from the $150 it opened at on its first trading day. Since then, however, the stock, which more commonly goes by just SpaceX, has been falling, and on Tuesday it was back to around the $150 mark again.
The stock has effectively given back those early gains, virtually assuring that just about anyone who bought in those early days is in the red. Has the excitement already faded for the stock, and could it be headed for more of a decline, or is now a good opportunity to buy SpaceX?

Trading volumes have come down significantly There was huge interest in SpaceX when its shares began trading nearly a month ago. The new public offering was eagerly anticipated, and investors were looking for ways to gain exposure to the space company even before its shares began trading, including by investing in stocks that had positions in SpaceX. Trading levels were through the roof, but there's clearly less excitement around the stock these days, as volumes have dropped considerably in the past few weeks.
SPCX Volume data by YCharts
Naturally, there will be a bit of a decline after the initial rush to buy an initial public offering. However, with the decline in both the share price and trading volume, it could very well be an indication that investors are beginning to think a bit more carefully about the stock, particularly since its valuation is astronomical. Although it has come down in price, SpaceX stock still trades at around 110 times its trailing revenue.

SpaceX stock still isn't worth buying Many investors were eager to buy SpaceX stock regardless of how obscene and illogical its valuation was when it began trading, and are now facing losses that could grow even bigger as the stock may still have more room to fall. This is, after all, an unprofitable company, and while it has grand visions for travel to Mars and putting data centers into space, those are highly ambitious objectives that may take many years to become reality, assuming the company can come through on them at all.
SpaceX is the only stock that has a $2 trillion valuation or more, and that doesn't have a highly profitable and successful business. That math on its valuation just doesn't work, and investors who buy without taking that into consideration could incur mammoth losses. The stock's decline may just be getting started.
Key Takeaways SPCX fell 6.8% on its Nasdaq-100 debut, closing at $149.47, its lowest level since IPO.Starlink, Starship and AI infrastructure plans are key growth engines for SpaceX's long-term story.SpaceX's $2T valuation and 36X forward sales multiple leave little room for execution missteps. Shares of Space Exploration Technologies (SPCX - Free Report) fell 6.8% yesterday on their first day as part of the Nasdaq-100 Index, closing at $149.47. The stock is now trading at its lowest level since its June 12 IPO and well below its closing high of $211.39.
SpaceX became one of the fastest companies to join the Nasdaq-100, but the milestone failed to provide the boost many investors had expected. Instead, the stock came under pressure as a broad technology selloff weighed on the sector.
The weakness was due to growing concerns over heavy AI-related spending, rising U.S. bond yields, higher oil prices and escalating tensions in the Middle East. Several technology stocks, including Marvell Technology (MRVL - Free Report) , Micron Technology (MU - Free Report) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD - Free Report) , also declined sharply yesterday.

With SpaceX now trading near its post-IPO lows, the key question is whether the recent pullback offers a compelling buying opportunity or signals further downside ahead.
Multiple Growth Engines Support SPCX’s Long-Term StorySpaceX's long-term growth story remains compelling, supported by multiple high-growth businesses.
The biggest growth driver is Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite Internet arm. It is benefiting from rising demand for broadband connectivity in underserved regions and is positioned to offer text, voice and data services directly to standard smartphones. The business generated more than $11.4 billion in revenues and $4.4 billion in operating income in fiscal 2025, highlighting its ability to generate meaningful profits while expanding globally.
Another major catalyst is Starship. Following its 12th successful test flight in May 2026, the next-generation launch vehicle is expected to carry much heavier payloads than Falcon 9. This would enable the deployment of larger Starlink satellites while significantly reducing the cost of delivering satellite bandwidth, improving the economics of the Starlink business over time.
SpaceX is also transforming into an AI infrastructure company following the acquisitions of xAI and X earlier this year. By combining AI models, large-scale computing infrastructure and satellite connectivity, the company is building an integrated platform that few competitors can match. It plans to launch AI compute satellites by 2028, paving the way for space-based data centers.
The company's growing presence in AI is already attracting major customers. Multi-billion-dollar computing agreements with Alphabet's Google and Anthropic provide long-term revenue visibility, while the planned acquisition of Anysphere, the company behind the AI coding assistant Cursor, strengthens its position in the fast-growing enterprise AI software market.
But Can We Look Past the Valuation Concerns? While SpaceX's long-term opportunities are significant, its valuation leaves little room for disappointment.
The company is currently valued at around $2 trillion despite generating just $4.69 billion in first-quarter revenues and incurring a net loss of $4.28 billion. On a forward 12-month basis, the stock trades at roughly 36 times sales, a rich premium even among high-growth technology companies.
Investors are paying for what SpaceX could become rather than what it is today. That optimism rests on Starlink's continued expansion, AI infrastructure, space-based data centers and Elon Musk's vision of building a company capable of generating $100 billion in annual revenues by 2028.
However, reaching that milestone will require flawless execution across multiple capital-intensive businesses. Also, history suggests that investors should treat Musk's timelines with caution. We know that many of Tesla's ambitious projects, including robotaxis and humanoid robots, have taken longer than initially projected. Likewise, many of SpaceX's biggest growth initiatives are still years away from making a meaningful financial contribution and will require huge investment before they begin generating attractive returns.
Is SpaceX Stock a Buy?SpaceX remains one of the most compelling long-term growth stories in the market. Few companies have leadership positions across commercial space, satellite connectivity and AI infrastructure, giving SPCX multiple avenues for expansion over the coming decade.
That said, much of this optimism already appears reflected in the stock's premium valuation. Even after the recent pullback, investors are still paying a steep price for future growth that will take years to materialize.
Having said that, for existing shareholders, the recent decline does not change the long-term investment thesis, making the stock worth holding through near-term volatility. Wall Street's average price target still implies roughly 35% upside from current levels.
However, new investors may be better served by waiting for a more attractive entry point. While SpaceX's long-term prospects remain attractive, the current valuation still offers a limited margin of safety, leaving little room for execution missteps or broader market weakness.
SPCX stock currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold). You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.
