DOCS DEADLINE: SueWallSt Reminds Doximity, Inc. Investors of Upcoming Securities Class Action Deadline
DOCS Doximity
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Doximity's CEO and former CFO are named as alleged controlling persons in a securities class action claiming the Company overstated how much its "Newsfeed" product drove revenue growth while allegedly losing market share to competitors.

, /PRNewswire/ -- SueWallSt alerts investors in Doximity, Inc. (NYSE: DOCS) that a securities class action has been filed on behalf of shareholders who purchased common stock between August 8, 2024 and May 13, 2026. Find out if you may be eligible to recover losses. You may also contact Joseph E. Levi, Esq. at [email protected] or (888) SueWallSt.

DOCS declined $5.38 per share, or 23%, closing at $18.01 on May 14, 2026, the last of three Class Period declines identified in the action. The window to apply for lead plaintiff closes on November 16, 2026.

The Named Individual Defendants

The action names Jeffrey Tangney, Doximity's co-founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board at all relevant times, and Anna Bryson, who served as Chief Financial Officer from May 11, 2021 to April 13, 2026. The complaint identifies these two officers as the executives most principally charged with providing investors an accurate representation of the state of the Company's business, including its financial guidance, and alleges they had unfettered access to internal data and reports, including an internal dashboard.

Sarbanes-Oxley Certification Obligations

Senior officers who sign certifications under Sections 302 and 906 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act personally attest to the accuracy and completeness of the periodic reports they submit. The practical consequence for shareholders is that accountability under Section 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 can reach individuals, not only the issuer.

Alleged Control Person Liability

Both officers are named under Section 20(a) as alleged controlling persons of Doximity. The pleading alleges they possessed the power and authority to control the contents of the Company's SEC reports, press releases, and presentations to securities analysts and institutional investors. It alleges each received copies of the reports at issue before or shortly after issuance, with the ability and opportunity to prevent their issuance or have them corrected. The action alleges the Chief Executive Officer expressly denied the existence of an e-newsletter product when questioned by an analyst, while the Company allegedly relied on email newsletters and banner ads.Section 20(a) liability is derivative: if the underlying Rule 10b-5 claim succeeds, alleged controlling persons may be held jointly and severally liable."Corporate officers have a duty to ensure their companies' public statements are accurate and complete, and the complaint here alleges that senior Doximity executives had access to internal data that contradicted what shareholders were being told about the Newsfeed and the Company's competitive position." -- Joseph E. Levi, Esq.

Frequently Asked Questions About the DOCS Lawsuit

Q: What court was the DOCS class action filed in? A: The case was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, governed by the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995.

Q: Who are the defendants named in the DOCS lawsuit? A: The complaint names Doximity, Inc. and a set of individual defendants who held senior positions at the company for all or part of the Class Period, including co-founder, CEO, and Chairman Jeffrey Tangney, CFO Anna Bryson, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer Nate Gross, and VP of Investor Relations & Revenue Operations, Perry Gold.

Q: What is the DOCS class action lawsuit about? A: A securities class action has been filed against Doximity, Inc. (NYSE: DOCS) alleging materially false and misleading statements between August 8, 2024 and May 13, 2026. Shares fell approximately 23% after the Company disclosed that it missed its already-reduced fiscal 2026 revenue guidance and projected significantly slower growth for fiscal 2027. Investors who purchased shares during the Class Period and suffered losses may be eligible to seek compensation.

Q: What is a lead plaintiff and why does it matter? A: A lead plaintiff is the investor appointed by the court to represent the entire class. Lead plaintiffs are typically investors with the largest documented losses. Being appointed does not increase individual recovery but gives direct oversight of how the case is run.

Q: What do DOCS investors need to do right now? A: Investors may gather brokerage records showing purchase dates, share quantities, and prices paid. Submit your information for a no-cost, no-obligation evaluation of your potential recovery. No immediate action is required to remain eligible as an absent class member.

Q: What if I already sold my DOCS shares -- can I still recover losses? A: Yes. Eligibility is based on when you purchased, not whether you still hold the shares. Investors who bought during the Class Period and sold at a loss may still be eligible to participate.

Q: Do I need to go to court or give testimony? A: No. The overwhelming majority of class members never appear in court or give depositions. If there is a settlement or recovery, eligible class members generally submit a claim form to seek their portion.

Q: What does it cost me to participate? A: There is no upfront cost to submit your information and review whether you may be eligible to recover. Should you choose to participate in the securities class action, they are generally handled on a contingency basis, with any attorneys' fees and expenses subject to court approval.

Doximity, Inc. Class Action Reminder – Robbins LLP Encourages DOCS Investors to Contact the Firm for Information About Their Rights
DOCS Doximity
FMP Stock News
Original source text
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Shareholder rights law firm Robbins LLP reminds investors that a class action was filed on behalf of persons and entities who purchased or otherwise acquired Doximity, Inc. (NYSE: DOCS) common stock between August 8, 2024 and May 13, 2026, inclusive (the "Class Period"). Doximity is a digital platform for medical professionals that combines health care news, workflow products, and clinician networking.

The complaint alleges that Doximity failed to disclose to investors that it was losing market share to its competitors with more favorable pricing and engagement models.

Investors who suffered significant losses during the Class Period may be eligible to participate in the lawsuit and should contact Robbins LLP for information before the November 16, 2026, lead plaintiff deadline.

Listen to our podcast.

Why Was Doximity Sued?

The complaint alleges that during the Class Period defendants claimed the Company's Newsfeed was its "biggest revenue driver." Specifically, defendants claimed that the Company’s growth was “led by our Newsfeed, which is both our most used and most monetized product” and told investors that the Newsfeed was consistently “reach[ing] new highs,” with “an all-time record of quarterly active prescribers and double-digit growth in the number of articles read or tapped.” In addition, Doximity touted its “deep engagement,” assuring investors that Doximity does not “bombard physicians with ads and messages in hopes of getting lucky” and assured investors that “[Doximity does not] have an e-newsletter product.” In truth, Doximity overstated the impact that its Newsfeed had on its revenue growth, and the Company was losing market share to its competitors with more favorable pricing and engagement models. Additionally, notwithstanding its frequent statements to the contrary, Doximity relied heavily on both banner ads and email newsletters as advertising methods.

Why Did Doximity Stock Drop?

Plaintiff alleges that on November 6, 2025, despite reporting strong second quarter results, Doximity expressed a degree of caution regarding the outlook for ad spending and implied a slowdown in sales growth in the second half of the 2026 fiscal year, which ended on March 31, 2026. As a result of these disclosures, the price of Doximity common stock declined by $8.29 per share, or 13%.

Then, on February 5, 2026, Doximity lowered its revenue guidance for 2026 full fiscal year, which ended on March 31, 2026, and announced that its sales growth had decelerated while its net income had contracted, which will negatively impact its 2026 fiscal fourth quarter. Following these poor financial results, analysts noted that “uncertainty is lingering. This is not widespread, meaning not all pharma[ceutical] clients are holding back” on their advertising spend. Analysts also began to posit that the reason for Doximity’s slowing growth was that the Company was actually losing market share to its competitors. Specifically, an analyst at Evercore noted that older companies, such as Doximity, “are losing share while programmatic, social, and other new formats are gaining share.” As a result of these disclosures, the price of Doximity common stock declined by $5.59 per share, or 17%.

Then, on May 13, 2026, Doximity announced that it missed its already-reduced revenue guidance and projected a significantly slower pace of growth for its 2027 fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2027. As a result, several analysts downgraded Doximity stock citing issues specific to the Company’s business. For example, Freeman Capital Markets described the news as “a tough pill to swallow” as shares fell to “an all-time low” and Jefferies placed the stock in the “penalty box.” Leerink Partners also put Doximity “in the penalty box” following the “eye-catching” guidance paired with the “shock value” of “[a]ll of the dynamics that lead to the guidance, including market softness, timing of commitments and the spend to ramp its AI products.” RBC Capital Markets noted that Doximity’s stalled net revenue retention suggested an “increasingly competitive market.” As a result of these disclosures, the price of Doximity common stock declined by $5.38 per share, or 23%.

Who May Be Eligible to Participate in the Doximity Class Action?

The lawsuit seeks to represent investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Doximity, Inc. common stock between August 8, 2024 and May 13, 2026. Investors who suffered losses during that period may have legal rights under the federal securities laws.

What Is a Lead Plaintiff?

The lead plaintiff is a court-appointed investor who represents the interests of all class members throughout the litigation. Stockholders who wish to lead the class action should contact Robbins LLP before the November 16, 2026, lead plaintiff deadline.

Serving as lead plaintiff is not required to share in any potential recovery. Investors who do not seek appointment may remain absent class members if the case proceeds and later resolves successfully.

Does It Cost Anything to Participate?

No. Robbins LLP represents investors on a contingency fee basis.

Pomerantz Law Firm Announces the Filing of a Class Action Against AST SpaceMobile, Inc. and Certain Officers - ASTS
ASTS AST SpaceMobile
FMP Stock News
Original source text
, /PRNewswire/ -- Pomerantz LLP announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed against AST SpaceMobile, Inc. ("AST" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: ASTS) and certain officers. The class action, filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, Midland-Odessa Division, and docketed under 26-cv-00378, is on behalf of a class consisting of all persons and entities other than Defendants that purchased or otherwise acquired AST securities between March 4, 2025 and July 15, 2026, both dates inclusive (the "Class Period"), seeking to recover damages caused by Defendants' violations of the federal securities laws and to pursue remedies under Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5 promulgated thereunder, against the Company and certain of its top officials.

If you are an investor who purchased or otherwise acquired AST securities during the Class Period, you have until November 13, 2026 to ask the Court to appoint you as Lead Plaintiff for the class. A copy of the Complaint can be obtained at www.pomerantzlaw.com. To discuss this action, contact Danielle Peyton at [email protected] or 646-581-9980 (or 888.4-POMLAW), toll-free, Ext. 7980. AST, together with its subsidiaries, designs and develops the constellation of BlueBird satellites in the United States ("U.S.").  The Company provides a cellular broadband network in space for direct access by smartphones for commercial use and other applications, as well as for government use.  In addition, its SpaceMobile service provides cellular broadband services to end-users who are out of terrestrial cellular coverage.

At all relevant times, Defendants touted AST's purportedly unique competitive advantages and leadership position in the satellite direct-to-cellular ("D2C") market.  In particular, throughout the Class Period, Defendants touted AST's business and financial prospects as purportedly the only established space-based cellular broadband network for mobile phones.

Defendants' assurances regarding AST's purportedly durable competitive position in the satellite D2C market came into question in September 2025, when American telecommunications company EchoStar Corporation ("EchoStar") announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement with SpaceX, an American aerospace manufacturer and space transportation company, to sell its AWS-4 and H-block spectrum licenses (the "EchoStar Transaction").  In connection with the EchoStar Transaction, SpaceX and EchoStar agreed to enter into a long-term commercial agreement, enabling EchoStar's Boost Mobile subscribers—through its cloud-native 5G core—to access SpaceX's next generation D2C service provided by its telecommunications subsidiary Starlink Services, LLC ("Starlink").

SpaceX commands a dominant position in the global aerospace and orbital launch industry, with the ability to produce and launch numerous satellites at scale.  Its subsidiary Starlink provides a broadband internet satellite constellation that accounts for roughly 54% of all active satellites in Earth's orbit, with approximately 9,821 Starlink satellites currently active in low Earth orbit.  Viewed in combination with its considerable resources, SpaceX's entry into the satellite D2C market was potentially a threat to AST's commercial aspirations.

Following the EchoStar Transaction, however, Defendants continued to assure investors and the market that AST remained in a competitive class of its own, with the Company poised to realize significant revenues and profits in the near-term.  Likewise, Defendants continuously represented that AST's capital and liquidity position was sufficient to meet its strategic and business goals at all relevant times, notwithstanding the heightened competitive pressures it faced following the EchoStar Transaction.

The complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and misleading statements regarding the Company's business, operations, and prospects.  Specifically, Defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (i) AST's increasing capital requirements were likely to increase the Company's debt load and share dilution with greater frequency and at greater scale than Defendants had signaled to investors; (ii) accordingly, Defendants had overstated the sufficiency of AST's capital and liquidity position to achieve its strategic and business goals; (iii) Defendants likewise overstated the durability of AST's competitive position in the satellite D2C market; (iv) even following the EchoStar Transaction, Defendants continued overstating AST's competitive position in the satellite D2C market; (v) AST was experiencing slow user adoption in the U.S. and Japan; (vi) the foregoing was likely to have a significant negative impact on the Company's business and financial prospects; and (vii) as a result, Defendants' public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.

The truth began to emerge on September 8, 2025, when UBS issued a report downgrading AST to a "Neutral" from "Buy" recommendation, as well as cutting its price target on the Company to $43.00 from $62.00, mainly citing heightened competitive pressures related to the EchoStar Transaction, which "fortifies [Starlink's] position in the space to cellular market and increases risk for AST[] as it drives utilization on its nascent constellation[.]"

Following the release of UBS's report, AST's Class A common stock price fell $3.86 per share, or 9.47%, to close at $36.91 per share on September 9, 2025.

On October 21, 2025, AST issued a press release "announc[ing] its intent to offer . . . $850.0 million aggregate principal amount of convertible senior notes due 2036 (the 'Notes') in a private offering", and that it "intends to grant the initial purchasers of the Notes . . . an option to purchase . . . up to an additional $150.0 million aggregate principal amount of Notes."  The press release disclosed that AST would use the proceeds from this offering "for general corporate purposes, including without limitation funding the deployment of AST SpaceMobile's worldwide constellation of satellites in anticipation of adding incremental strategic markets for its SpaceMobile Service."  (Emphasis added.)

Later the same day, AST issued another press release "announc[ing] the pricing of $1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of convertible senior notes due 2036 (the 'Notes') in a private offering", noting that "[t]he size of the offering has been increased from the previously announced $850.0 million principal amount of Notes", while reiterating the same intended use for the net proceeds from the offering.

Following these disclosures, AST's Class A common stock price fell $7.26 per share, or 9.24%, to close at $71.35 per share on October 22, 2025.

On January 6, 2026, Scotiabank issued a report downgrading AST to a "Sell" recommendation, as well as its rating to "Sector Underperform" from "Sector Perform", citing, inter alia, significant competition from Starlink and "[e]vidence of slow user adoption in the U.S. and Japan[.]"

Following the release of Scotiabank's report, AST's Class A common stock price fell $11.76 per share, or 12.06%, to close at $85.73 per share on January 7, 2026.

On February 11, 2026, AST issued a press release "announc[ing] its intent to offer . . . $1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of convertible senior notes due 2036 (the 'Notes') in a private offering", and that it "intends to grant the initial purchasers of the Notes . . . an option to purchase . . . up to an additional $150.0 million aggregate principal amount of Notes."  The press release disclosed that AST intended to use the proceeds from the offering "for general corporate purposes, including without limitation, accelerating the deployment of our controlled spectrum bands on a global basis, monetizing the capabilities of our proprietary technology to capture the evolving commercial opportunities related to artificial intelligence, enhancing investment in government space opportunities in the U.S., reducing higher interest debt, and pursuing opportunistic investments to accelerate our SpaceMobile Service and capabilities."   (Emphasis added.)

The next day, AST issued another press release announcing the pricing of the foregoing offering at "an initial conversion price of approximately $116.30 per share of AST SpaceMobile's Class A common stock, which represents a premium of approximately 20% to the last reported sale price of AST SpaceMobile's Class A common stock on February 11, 2026."

Following these disclosures, AST's Class A common stock price fell $14.70 per share, or 15.17%, to close at $82.22 per share on February 12, 2026.

Then, on July 15, 2026, AST issued a press release "announc[ing] its intent to offer" yet another "$1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of convertible senior notes due 2034 (the 'Notes') in a private offering", and that it "intends to grant the initial purchasers of the Notes . . . an option to purchase . . . up to an additional $150 million aggregate principal amount of Notes."  The press release disclosed that AST intended to use the proceeds from the offering to, inter alia, "pursue an expanding universe of growth initiatives and secure additional access to orbit for its space-based cellular broadband network, including partnerships and/or acquisitions to further vertically integrate its business and mitigate risks associated with third-party launch providers."   (Emphasis added.)  The press release further disclosed that the Company "currently does not have any understandings or agreements with respect to any such strategic transactions."  (Emphasis added.)

Later the same day, AST issued another press release announcing the pricing of the foregoing offering.  Specifically, "$1.0 billion 1.625% convertible senior notes due 2034 . . . [at] an initial conversion price of approximately $79.57 per share of AST SpaceMobile's Class A common stock, which represents a premium of approximately 20.0% over the last reported sale price of AST SpaceMobile's Class A common stock on July 15, 2026", as well as "[c]apped call transactions . . . [at] an initial cap price of $149.20 per share of AST SpaceMobile's Class A common stock, which represents a premium of 125.0% over the last reported sale price of AST SpaceMobile's Class A common stock on July 15, 2026."

Following the foregoing disclosures, AST's Class A common stock price fell $11.30 per share, or 17.04%, to close at $55.01 per share on July 16, 2026.

Important notice regarding alleged capital sufficiency misrepresentations at AST SpaceMobile: the lawsuit contends shareholders were assured the Company's cash position was adequate while escalating capital requirements allegedly drove roughly $3.0 billion in convertible note offerings and repeated dilution.

, /PRNewswire/ -- SueWallSt notifies investors in AST SpaceMobile, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASTS) that a class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of shareholders who purchased securities between March 4, 2025 and July 15, 2026. ASTS shares fell roughly $11.30 per share, or about 17%, on July 16, 2026, after the Company announced its third $1.0 billion convertible note offering in under nine months. Applications to serve as lead plaintiff must be filed by November 13, 2026.

The Alleged Capital Sufficiency Methodology

Throughout the Class Period, AST's annual and quarterly reports stated that cash on hand would be sufficient to meet anticipated working capital needs, planned operating expenses, and capital expenditures for the next 12 months. Those filings carried Sarbanes-Oxley certifications. The complaint alleges that framing understated how often, and at what scale, the Company would return to the capital markets to fund its satellite program.

How Escalating Capital Requirements Allegedly Affected Reported Liquidity

According to the complaint, reported liquidity climbed from nearly $1.0 billion pro forma in March 2025 to more than $3.2 billion pro forma as of September 30, 2025. The lawsuit contends shareholders absorbed dilution that had not been signaled to them.

Key Capital Sufficiency Allegations for Shareholders

October 21, 2025: a convertible senior note offering priced at $1.0 billion, increased from an initially announced $850.0 million.February 11, 2026: a second $1.0 billion convertible offering, with an initial conversion price of approximately $116.30 per share.July 15, 2026: a third $1.0 billion convertible offering due 2034, with an initial conversion price of approximately $79.57 per share. The complaint alleges successive capital raises reflected mounting share dilution for existing holders.Public filings repeatedly described cash on hand as sufficient for the following 12 months, the complaint alleges."This case presents important questions about capital adequacy disclosure obligations in the satellite communications sector. The complaint alleges investors were assured existing resources were sufficient while the Company allegedly required billions of dollars in additional convertible debt. Q: How much did ASTS stock drop? A: The complaint tracks a series of 5 declines: on September 9, 2025, the stock declined $3.86 per share (9.47%); on October 22, 2025, $7.26 per share (9.24%); on January 7, 2026, $11.76 per share (12.06%); on February 12, 2026, $14.70 per share (15.17%); and on July 16, 2026, the stock fell $11.30 per share (17.04%).

Q: What court was the ASTS class action filed in? A: The case was filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, Midland/Odessa Division, governed by the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995.

Q: What do ASTS investors need to do right now? A: Investors may gather brokerage records showing purchase dates, share quantities, and prices paid. Submit your information for a no-cost, no-obligation evaluation of your potential recovery. No immediate action is required to remain eligible as an absent class member.

Q: What if I already sold my ASTS shares, can I still recover losses?

Investors Heavily Search Nu Holdings Ltd. (NU): Here is What You Need to Know
NU Nu Holdings
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Nu Holdings Ltd. (NU - Free Report) is one of the stocks most watched by Zacks.com visitors lately. So, it might be a good idea to review some of the factors that might affect the near-term performance of the stock.

Over the past month, shares of this company have returned -5.5%, compared to the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +0.9% change. During this period, the Zacks Banks - Foreign industry, which Nu falls in, has lost 6.4%. The key question now is: What could be the stock's future direction?

Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.

Revisions to Earnings EstimatesRather than focusing on anything else, we at Zacks prioritize evaluating the change in a company's earnings projection. This is because we believe the fair value for its stock is determined by the present value of its future stream of earnings.

We essentially look at how sell-side analysts covering the stock are revising their earnings estimates to reflect the impact of the latest business trends. And if earnings estimates go up for a company, the fair value for its stock goes up. A higher fair value than the current market price drives investors' interest in buying the stock, leading to its price moving higher. This is why empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.

Nu is expected to post earnings of $0.23 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +35.3%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate remained unchanged.

The consensus earnings estimate of $0.86 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +38.7%. This estimate has changed -0.2% over the last 30 days.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $1.16 indicates a change of +34.9% from what Nu is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has changed -0.3%.

Having a strong externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool, the Zacks Rank, offers a more conclusive picture of a stock's price direction in the near term, since it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. Due to the size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, Nu is rated Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).

The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:

12 Month EPS

Projected Revenue GrowthWhile earnings growth is arguably the most superior indicator of a company's financial health, nothing happens as such if a business isn't able to grow its revenues. After all, it's nearly impossible for a company to increase its earnings for an extended period without increasing its revenues. So, it's important to know a company's potential revenue growth.

For Nu , the consensus sales estimate for the current quarter of $5.73 billion indicates a year-over-year change of +37.3%. For the current and next fiscal years, $22.51 billion and $27.93 billion estimates indicate +42.7% and +24.1% changes, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistoryNu reported revenues of $5.51 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +50.3%. EPS of $0.22 for the same period compares with $0.14 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $5.45 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of +1.08%. The EPS surprise was +10%.

Over the last four quarters, Nu surpassed consensus EPS estimates three times. The company topped consensus revenue estimates three times over this period.

ValuationNo investment decision can be efficient without considering a stock's valuation. Whether a stock's current price rightly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects is an essential determinant of its future price performance.

While comparing the current values of a company's valuation multiples, such as price-to-earnings (P/E), price-to-sales (P/S), and price-to-cash flow (P/CF), with its own historical values helps determine whether its stock is fairly valued, overvalued, or undervalued, comparing the company relative to its peers on these parameters gives a good sense of the reasonability of the stock's price.

The Zacks Value Style Score (part of the Zacks Style Scores system), which pays close attention to both traditional and unconventional valuation metrics to grade stocks from A to F (an A is better than a B; a B is better than a C; and so on), is pretty helpful in identifying whether a stock is overvalued, rightly valued, or temporarily undervalued.

Nu is graded C on this front, indicating that it is trading at par with its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

Bottom LineThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Nu . However, its Zacks Rank #3 does suggest that it may perform in line with the broader market in the near term.

Cleveland-Cliffs (CLF) is a Top-Ranked Momentum Stock: Should You Buy?
CLF Cleveland-Cliffs
FMP Stock News

Taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals for new and old investors, and Zacks Premium offers many different ways to do both.

The popular research service can help you become a smarter, more self-assured investor, giving you access to daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens.

It also includes access to the Zacks Style Scores.

What are the Zacks Style Scores? Developed alongside the Zacks Rank, the Zacks Style Scores are a group of complementary indicators that help investors pick stocks with the best chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.

Based on their value, growth, and momentum characteristics, each stock is assigned a rating of A, B, C, D, or F. The better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform; an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on.

The Style Scores are broken down into four categories:

Value ScoreFor value investors, it's all about finding good stocks at good prices, and discovering which companies are trading under their true value before the broader market catches on. The Value Style Score utilizes ratios like P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, Price/Cash Flow, and a host of other multiples to help pick out the most attractive and discounted stocks.

Growth ScoreGrowth investors, on the other hand, are more concerned with a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score examines things like projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow to find stocks that will experience sustainable growth over time.

Momentum ScoreMomentum traders and investors live by the saying "the trend is your friend." This investing style is all about taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook. Employing factors like one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates, the Momentum Style Score can indicate favorable times to build a position in high-momentum stocks.

VGM ScoreIf you want a combination of all three Style Scores, then the VGM Score will be your friend. It rates each stock on their combined weighted styles, helping you find the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum. It's also one of the best indicators to use with the Zacks Rank.

How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank, which is a proprietary stock-rating model, employs earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to make building a winning portfolio easier.

It's highly successful, with #1 (Strong Buy) stocks producing an unmatched +23.82% average annual return since 1988. That's more than double the S&P 500. But because of the large number of stocks we rate, there are over 200 companies with a Strong Buy rank, plus another 600 with a #2 (Buy) rank, on any given day.

But it can feel overwhelming to pick the right stocks for you and your investing goals with over 800 top-rated stocks to choose from.

That's where the Style Scores come in.

You want to make sure you're buying stocks with the highest likelihood of success, and to do that, you'll need to pick stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B. If you like a stock that only has a #3 (Hold) rank, it should also have Scores of A or B to guarantee as much upside potential as possible.

The direction of a stock's earnings estimate revisions should always be a key factor when choosing which stocks to buy, since the Scores were created to work together with the Zacks Rank.

Here's an example: a stock with a #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell) rating, even one with Style Scores of A and B, still has a downward-trending earnings outlook, and a bigger chance its share price will decrease too.

Thus, the more stocks you own with a #1 or #2 Rank and Scores of A or B, the better.

Stock to Watch: Cleveland-Cliffs (CLF - Free Report) Cleveland, OH-based Cleveland-Cliffs Inc., formerly known as Cliffs Natural Resources, is the largest producer of iron ore pellets in North America. It is also the biggest flat-rolled steel producer in the region.

CLF is a #2 (Buy) on the Zacks Rank, with a VGM Score of B.

Momentum investors should take note of this Basic Materials stock. CLF has a Momentum Style Score of A, and shares are up 26.6% over the past four weeks.

Four analysts revised their earnings estimate upwards in the last 60 days for fiscal 2026. The Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.25 to $0.13 per share. CLF boasts an average earnings surprise of +15.3%.

With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Momentum and VGM Style Scores, CLF should be on investors' short list.

NZD/USD: RBNZ surprise pause keeps sellers in control, falling US yields limit downside
NZDUSD NZD/USD
FMP Forex News
Original source text
NZDUSD recovered from lows around 0.5565 to 0.5709 as expectations of an RBNZ rate hike and falling U.S. Treasury yields supported buyers. However, repeated attempts to clear resistance around 0.5710 failed before the central bank’s surprise decision triggered a sharp reversal.

On Wednesday, NZDUSD fell from around 0.5709 towards 0.5580 after the RBNZ voted 4-3 to leave interest rates unchanged at 2.75%, disappointing expectations of a 25-basis-point increase.

The selling extended across NZD crosses. AUDNZD gained more than 250 pips, while EUR/NZD and GBPNZD each advanced more than 300 pips during the session.

NZDUSD subsequently recovered towards 0.5640, where sellers returned. Price has since retreated towards 0.5617, although Wednesday evening’s Fed decision offered limited additional downside momentum.

A divided Fed hold offers limited Dollar supportThe Fed left its policy rate unchanged in a 10–2 vote, with two members preferring a 25-bps.

Despite those hawkish dissents, markets interpreted Chair Kevin Warsh’s press conference as dovish, reducing expectations for subsequent tightening. Falling Treasury yields have consequently limited the dollar’s ability to extend its gains against the New Zealand dollar.

The distinction matters: the Fed retained its concerns about inflation, but the market’s response reflected a softer interpretation of the future policy path.

The fundamental outlook remains mixedThe RBNZ’s unexpected pause weakened the immediate case for NZD buyers, but the bank left further tightening possible. That makes it difficult to treat the decision as confirmation of sustained monetary-policy support for sellers.

The U.S. side is similarly complicated. Two Fed members supported an immediate hike, yet declining yields suggest traders have not interpreted the meeting as a reason to price a substantially more aggressive tightening cycle.

Further movement in NZD/USD will depend partly on whether the RBNZ disappointment continues to outweigh the loss of dollar support from lower yields. Upcoming U.S. inflation data could help resolve that tension by changing expectations for the Fed’s next move.

NZD/USD technical outlook: 0.5640 and 0.5580 frame the next moveResistance around 0.5640 is the first level buyers need to reclaim. A sustained break above it would strengthen the recovery case and bring 0.5700–0.5710 back into focus.

For sellers, Wednesday’s low around 0.5580 remains the key test. A sustained break below that level would strengthen the bearish structure and expose the earlier low around 0.5565.

Eli Lilly Jumps 8% as Strong Quarter Lifts Revenue Outlook; Novo Nordisk Ticks Up, Viking Therapeutics Eases
VKTX Viking Therapeutics
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Eli Lilly just posted a quarter that left its GLP-1 rivals in the dust, but margin pressure and a $900 million pile of one-time benefits raise questions about how much of that strength is real and how long it can…

Eli Lilly (NYSE:LLY | LLY Price Prediction) just extended its lead in obesity drugs, and its newer cancer, immunology and neuroscience products are starting to matter, while the rest of the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) group is barely moving. Eli Lilly stock is trading at $1,393, up 8%.

Taking a look at the peers, Novo Nordisk (NYSE:NVO) stock is at $38.73, up 1%. Viking Therapeutics (NASDAQ:VKTX) stock is at $25.07, down 1%.

Mounjaro and Zepbound Power Eli Lilly’s Beat and Raise Eli Lilly reported Q3 2026 results before the open on October 29, posting revenue of $24.4 billion, up 39% year over year.

That top line cleared Wall Street analysts’ $22.61 billion S&P consensus, and its adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $7.48 beat their $6.61 estimate.

Riding that momentum, Eli Lilly raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $91 billion to $92 billion from $85 billion to $87 billion.

Demand for Eli Lilly’s two tirzepatide brands did the heavy lifting, with Mounjaro sales up 65% to $10.72 billion and Zepbound up 49% to $5.35 billion.

Foundayo, Eli Lilly’s newer oral obesity drug, added $184 million. Chair and CEO David Ricks commented. He stated: “Revenue growth was driven by broad global consumer demand for Mounjaro and Zepbound, the global launches of Foundayo, expanded U.S. coverage for obesity care and a doubling in our newest products in oncology, immunology and neuroscience.”

Still, the quarter got a lift from about $900 million in one-time benefits, including $410 million in Jardiance milestones, so the underlying beat was smaller than the headline suggests. Eli Lilly said acquired in-process research and development charges of $4.57 per share tied to business development deals also weighed.

Eli Lilly therefore cut its adjusted EPS guidance to $35 to $36 from $35.50 to $36.50.

Eli Lilly Pulls Away While Its GLP-1 Rivals Stall Year to date (YTD), Eli Lilly stock is up 30%. Novo Nordisk stock is down 20% YTD, a gap that shows Eli Lilly’s results pulling it further from its Danish rival while the strength isn’t spreading across the group. Where Eli Lilly has branched out, Novo Nordisk remains concentrated in diabetes and obesity drugs and faces U.S. pricing pressure, including Wegovy and Ozempic list price cuts it has announced for January 1, 2027.

Viking stock is down 29% YTD and is easing even after Eli Lilly reported surging demand. The company’s value rests on VK2735. The pre-revenue, clinical-stage developer’s dual agonist targets the GLP-1 and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptors in subcutaneous and oral Phase 3 trials, with VANQUISH results expected in 2027.

Viking Therapeutics reported a third-quarter net loss. On October 28, the loss of $1.55 per share was wider than Wall Street analysts expected, and the company ended September with $960 million in cash and investments after a capital raise. Every gain Eli Lilly makes in obesity care may raise the bar a late-stage challenger must clear on efficacy, convenience and price.

Further along the obesity-care chain, Hims & Hers Health (NYSE:HIMS) stock is at $28.80, down 2%. Hims & Hers stock is down 11% YTD, and the telehealth platform is switching its U.S. weight-loss offering toward branded GLP-1 medications.

Eli Lilly’s Next Chapter Hinges on Diversification and Obesity Share Eli Lilly must now show whether its newer products can keep growing fast enough to branched out revenue beyond weight loss. Alzheimer’s treatment Kisunla generated $193 million for Eli Lilly, up 175%, and blood cancer drug Jaypirca brought in $228 million, up 59%. Growth at that pace could gradually ease the company’s reliance on tirzepatide.

Margins are one pressure point, with Eli Lilly’s adjusted operating margin falling to 35.3% from 41.8%. A second open question is whether Novo Nordisk or Viking Therapeutics can close the gap in obesity care, where Eli Lilly keeps adding volume.

Eli Lilly enters the next phase with momentum, while its rivals still face pivotal trial data and pricing changes in 2027. Investors may want to weigh both the growth and the margin risks carefully as the race for obesity-care share develops.

VKTX Q3 Earnings Call Highlights Obesity Pipeline Progress
VKTX Viking Therapeutics
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Viking's injectable VANQUISH trials remain on track, while its oral VK2735 Phase III program is underway.VK2735 retained up to 97% of initial weight loss with biweekly dosing and up to 90% with monthly dosing.VKTX ended September with $960 million in cash and investments after raising about $550M in net proceeds.
Viking Therapeutics, Inc. (VKTX - Free Report) emphasized progress across its obesity pipeline during its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, highlighting the advancement of four Phase III trials evaluating injectable and oral VK2735.

Management also discussed encouraging weight-maintenance data, expanded commercial preparations and a strengthened balance sheet. Analyst questions focused on clinical differentiation, regulatory opportunities and the economics of oral dosing.

Viking Advances Injectable VK2735 TrialsPresident and CEO Brian Lian confirmed that both Phase III VANQUISH trials remain on track, with enrollment completed across studies evaluating patients with obesity and those with obesity and type 2 diabetes.

The trials assess weekly injectable VK2735 over 78 weeks. Management expects both studies to finish in 2027, with extension studies beginning in the first quarter.

Responding to a UBS analyst, Lian cautioned against cross-trial comparisons with competing treatments. He expressed confidence in VK2735's clinical profile but declined to forecast Phase III efficacy.

VKTX Launches Oral Phase III ProgramViking initiated its SUNRISE Phase III program in October, expanding VK2735 development into daily oral treatment. Both studies will assess efficacy and safety over 68 weeks.

Lian explained that the selected doses of 27.5 mg, 35 mg and 55 mg reflect efforts to reduce tablet burden while maintaining commercially attractive gross margins.

In response to Leerink Partners, he clarified that dose escalation follows four-week intervals. Management believes oral treatment could broaden patient options alongside injectable therapy.

Viking Highlights Flexible Maintenance DosingThe VK2735 maintenance study emerged as a central discussion topic. Participants retained 83-97% of initial weight loss with every-other-week injections and 82-90% with monthly administration.

Lian emphasized that gastrointestinal adverse events during maintenance were comparable to placebo. He attributed the encouraging profile to VK2735's pharmacokinetic characteristics.
Part 2 will examine transitions from weekly injections to daily oral therapy and additional injectable schedules.

Management expects results in 2027, although Lian acknowledged uncertainty around oral maintenance efficacy because of differences in drug exposure.

VKTX Addresses Regulatory and Commercial PlansA JPMorgan analyst questioned whether maintenance findings could support differentiated FDA labeling. Lian indicated that VANQUISH extension data could support such language, subject to regulatory review.

Responding to Oppenheimer and Laidlaw analysts, he clarified that maintenance evidence would more probably support a supplemental filing rather than the initial application. The final regulatory approach remains undecided.

Viking is simultaneously expanding commercial capabilities. Lian described established leadership across market access, medical affairs and health economics, alongside recent hiring in manufacturing, supply chain and compliance. He indicated that potential commercialization remains approximately two and a half years away.

Viking Expands Its Amylin Development StrategyBeyond VK2735, Viking expects to complete the Phase I single ascending dose study of VK3019, its dual amylin and calcitonin receptor agonist, by year-end.

A four-week multiple ascending dose study is planned for the first quarter of 2027. Lian emphasized tolerability, pharmacokinetics and weight-loss trajectories as important evaluation criteria.

During discussions with Jefferies, management identified potential applications both as standalone therapy and in combination with VK2735. Lian emphasized that clinical evidence will determine subsequent development decisions.

VKTX Strengthens Funding for Clinical ExpansionChief financial officer Gregory Zante reported third-quarter research and development expenses of $166.8 million compared with $90 million a year earlier, reflecting expanding clinical and manufacturing activities.

Viking posted a loss of $1.55 per share, wider than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a $1.00 loss. Its quarterly net loss increased to $183.2 million from $90.8 million.

Following financing transactions generating approximately $550 million in net proceeds, Viking ended September with $960 million in cash and investments. Zante indicated average quarterly cash usage of approximately $100 million going forward, with spending varying between quarters.

Viking Maintains Focus on ExecutionManagement's commentary emphasized advancing late-stage clinical studies while developing differentiated dosing options and preparing for commercialization.

The call also highlighted ongoing regulatory uncertainties surrounding maintenance labeling and the importance of forthcoming clinical results in determining VK2735's commercial positioning.

What Zacks Rank and Style Scores Indicate for VKTXVKTX currently carries a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy), indicating favorable near-term prospects based on earnings estimate revisions. However, its Value Score of D, Growth Score of F and Momentum Score of C reflect less favorable characteristics across these investment styles. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

Its VGM Score of F also indicates weak combined value, growth and momentum characteristics, limiting the support provided by Style Scores despite the favorable rank. The Zacks Rank remains subject to change as analysts revise earnings estimates following the reported results.

HIMS November 2, 2026 Lead Plaintiff Deadline - Robbins LLP Reminds Investors About the Opportunity to Lead the Class Action Lawsuit
HIMS Hims Hers Health
FMP Stock News
Original source text
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Shareholder rights law firm Robbins LLP reminds investors that a class action was filed on behalf of all persons and entities who purchased or otherwise acquired Hims & Hers Health, Inc. (NYSE: HIMS) securities between August 4, 2025 and July 29, 2026, inclusive (the "Class Period"). Hims operates a health and wellness platform that connects consumers to licensed healthcare professionals.

The complaint alleges that Hims shared consumers' sensitive health information with advertising platforms while representing that its services were private and secure, and engaged in deceptive billing practices.

Investors who suffered significant losses during the Class Period may be eligible to participate in the lawsuit and should contact Robbins LLP for information prior to the November 2, 2026 lead plaintiff deadline.

Why Was Hims & Hers Sued?

According to the complaint, defendants failed to disclose to investors that:

(1) the Company shared consumers’ health information with third-party advertising platforms;
(2) the Company charges consumers for prescriptions almost immediately after they submit an intake form, despite telling consumers that they will be able to consult with a medical provider to find a treatment that is “right for them;”
(3) the foregoing conduct subjected the Company to regulatory scrutiny;
(4) as a result, the Company was reasonably likely to incur fees and penalties; and
(5) as a result of the foregoing, defendants’ positive statements about the Company’s business,
operations, and prospects were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis.

Why Did HIMS Stock Drop?

Plaintiff alleges that on July 29, 2026, during market hours, the Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) announced it had filed a lawsuit against Hims “alleging that the telehealth provider shared consumers’ sensitive health information about medical conditions with third-party advertising platforms despite claiming its services maintain consumers’ privacy and deceives users about its billing and cancellation practices.”

According to the FTC’s complaint, Hims engages in other deceptive advertising practices, including failing to “clearly disclose that it charges consumers for prescriptions almost immediately after they submit an intake form, despite telling consumers that they will be able to consult with a medical provider to find a treatment that is ‘right for them.’” The complaint further alleges that, contrary to its promises that the platform is “100% online, private, and secure,” Hims “shared sensitive health information with third-party advertising companies and
platforms . . . such as Meta Platforms, Inc. (‘Meta’) and Snap Inc. (‘Snap’).”

On this news, shares of Hims declined $4.32, or 14.73%, to close at $25.00 on July 29, 2026.

Who May Be Eligible to Participate in the Hims & Hers Class Action?

The lawsuit seeks to represent investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Hims securities between August 4, 2025 and July 29, 2026. Investors who suffered losses during that period may have legal rights under the federal securities laws.

What Is a Lead Plaintiff?

The lead plaintiff is a court-appointed investor who represents the interests of all class members throughout the litigation. Shareholders who wish to lead the case should contact Robbins LLP prior to the November 2, 2026 lead plaintiff deadline.

Serving as lead plaintiff is not required to share in any potential recovery. Investors who do not seek appointment may remain absent class members if the case proceeds and later resolves successfully.

SoundHound AI, Inc. (SOUN) Expected to Beat Earnings Estimates: Should You Buy?
SOUN SoundHound AI
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Wall Street expects a year-over-year decline in earnings on higher revenues when SoundHound AI, Inc. (SOUN - Free Report) reports results for the quarter ended September 2026. While this widely-known consensus outlook is important in gauging the company's earnings picture, a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price is how the actual results compare to these estimates.

The earnings report, which is expected to be released on November 5, might help the stock move higher if these key numbers are better than expectations. On the other hand, if they miss, the stock may move lower.

While the sustainability of the immediate price change and future earnings expectations will mostly depend on management's discussion of business conditions on the earnings call, it's worth handicapping the probability of a positive EPS surprise.

Zacks Consensus EstimateThis company is expected to post quarterly loss of $0.06 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of -100%.

Revenues are expected to be $63.02 million, up 49.9% from the year-ago quarter.

Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 2.78% higher over the last 30 days to the current level. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period.

Investors should keep in mind that the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts may not always get reflected in the aggregate change.

Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise

Earnings WhisperEstimate revisions ahead of a company's earnings release offer clues to the business conditions for the period whose results are coming out. This insight is at the core of our proprietary surprise prediction model -- the Zacks Earnings ESP (Expected Surprise Prediction).

The Zacks Earnings ESP compares the Most Accurate Estimate to the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the quarter; the Most Accurate Estimate is a more recent version of the Zacks Consensus EPS estimate. The idea here is that analysts revising their estimates right before an earnings release have the latest information, which could potentially be more accurate than what they and others contributing to the consensus had predicted earlier.

Thus, a positive or negative Earnings ESP reading theoretically indicates the likely deviation of the actual earnings from the consensus estimate. However, the model's predictive power is significant for positive ESP readings only.

A positive Earnings ESP is a strong predictor of an earnings beat, particularly when combined with a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), 2 (Buy) or 3 (Hold). Our research shows that stocks with this combination produce a positive surprise nearly 70% of the time, and a solid Zacks Rank actually increases the predictive power of Earnings ESP.

Please note that a negative Earnings ESP reading is not indicative of an earnings miss. Our research shows that it is difficult to predict an earnings beat with any degree of confidence for stocks with negative Earnings ESP readings and/or Zacks Rank of 4 (Sell) or 5 (Strong Sell).

How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for SoundHound AI?For SoundHound AI, the Most Accurate Estimate is higher than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bullish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +33.33%.

On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #3.

So, this combination indicates that SoundHound AI will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate.

Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue?Analysts often consider to what extent a company has been able to match consensus estimates in the past while calculating their estimates for its future earnings. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.

For the last reported quarter, it was expected that SoundHound AI would post a loss of$0.03 per share when it actually produced a loss of -$0.02, delivering a surprise of +33.33%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates two times.

Bottom LineAn earnings beat or miss may not be the sole basis for a stock moving higher or lower. Many stocks end up losing ground despite an earnings beat due to other factors that disappoint investors. Similarly, unforeseen catalysts help a number of stocks gain despite an earnings miss.

That said, betting on stocks that are expected to beat earnings expectations does increase the odds of success. This is why it's worth checking a company's Earnings ESP and Zacks Rank ahead of its quarterly release. Make sure to utilize our Earnings ESP Filter to uncover the best stocks to buy or sell before they've reported.

SoundHound AI appears a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.

Expected Results of an Industry PlayerAmong the stocks in the Zacks Computers - IT Services industry, Jack Henry (JKHY - Free Report) , is soon expected to post earnings of $2.04 per share for the quarter ended September 2026. This estimate indicates a year-over-year change of +3.6%. This quarter's revenue is expected to be $683.76 million, up 6.1% from the year-ago quarter.

Over the last 30 days, the consensus EPS estimate for Jack Henry has been revised 0.1% down to the current level. Nevertheless, the company now has an Earnings ESP of -1.56%, reflecting a lower Most Accurate Estimate.

When combined with a Zacks Rank of #3 (Hold), this Earnings ESP makes it difficult to conclusively predict that Jack Henry will beat the consensus EPS estimate. The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters.

ICHR Set to Report Q3 Earnings: What's in Store for the Stock?
ICHR Ichor Holdings
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways ICHR expects Q3 revenues of $315-$345 million, with the midpoint implying 12% sequential growth. ICHR targets Q3 gross margins of 14.5-15.5% as manufacturing realignment boosts efficiency.ICHR expects proprietary content to reach 30% by Q3-end and 35% by the end of 2026.
Ichor Holdings, Ltd. (ICHR - Free Report) is scheduled to report its third-quarter 2026 results on Nov. 2, 2026.

For the third quarter of 2026, Ichor expects revenues between $315 million and $345 million. The midpoint implies sequential growth of 12% and year-over-year growth of 38%. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for second-quarter revenues is pegged at $300.2 million, suggesting a year-over-year increase of 38%.

For the third quarter of 2026, Ichor expects non-GAAP earnings to be in the range of 40-50 cents per share. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for ICHR’s second-quarter 2026 earnings is pegged at 45 cents per share, implying a significant year-over-year increase of 542.9%. ICHR reported earnings of 7 cents per share in the year-ago quarter.

ICHR’s earnings surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate in three of the trailing four quarters while missing once, the average surprise being 25.02%.

Let’s see how things have shaped up for this announcement.

Key Factors to Note for Ichor Holdings' Q3 EarningsIchor Holdings' third-quarter performance is expected to have benefited from strong demand from wafer fabrication equipment customers, supported by rising investments in AI infrastructure and advanced semiconductor manufacturing. The company also expects second-half 2026 revenue volumes to be at least 25% higher than the first half, supported by demand for advanced etch and deposition equipment.

The company is expected to have benefited from increasing adoption of gate-all-around architectures, advanced memory and leading-edge process technologies, which require more complex semiconductor manufacturing processes. Rising investments in AI infrastructure are supporting demand for etch and deposition equipment, which, in turn, is expected to have driven demand for Ichor's fluid delivery systems and related components.

Ichor's ongoing manufacturing footprint realignment is expected to have supported gross margin improvement in the third quarter of 2026. The company has qualified additional manufacturing operations in Malaysia, including machining and welding, for its major customers. These initiatives are expected to have increased internal production, reduced reliance on external suppliers and improved product margins. Management expects gross margin to increase by another 100 basis points in each of the remaining two quarters of 2026, with third-quarter gross margin guided to 14.5%-15.5%.

The company is also making progress in expanding its proprietary Ichor-branded content within the systems it builds. After ending the second quarter at around 25%, management expects proprietary content to reach approximately 30% by the end of the third quarter and 35% by the end of 2026. Increasing proprietary content is expected to have supported better product margins and contributed to the company's margin improvement plans.

What Our Model Says About ICHROur proven model does not conclusively predict an earnings beat for ICHR this season. The combination of a positive Earnings ESP and a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), 2 (Buy) or 3 (Hold) increases the chances of an earnings beat. However, that’s not the case here.

ICHR has an Earnings ESP of -0.55% and carries a Zacks Rank #3 at present. You can uncover the best stocks to buy or sell before they’re reported with our Earnings ESP Filter.

Investors Heavily Search Signet Jewelers Limited (SIG): Here is What You Need to Know
SIG Signet Jewelers
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Signet (SIG - Free Report) has recently been on Zacks.com's list of the most searched stocks. Therefore, you might want to consider some of the key factors that could influence the stock's performance in the near future.

Shares of this jewelry company have returned +12.6% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's +0.9% change. The Zacks Retail - Jewelry industry, to which Signet belongs, has gained 8.8% over this period. Now the key question is: Where could the stock be headed in the near term?

Although media reports or rumors about a significant change in a company's business prospects usually cause its stock to trend and lead to an immediate price change, there are always certain fundamental factors that ultimately drive the buy-and-hold decision.

Earnings Estimate RevisionsRather than focusing on anything else, we at Zacks prioritize evaluating the change in a company's earnings projection.

Signet is expected to post earnings of $0.87 per share for the current quarter, representing a year-over-year change of +38.1%. Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate remained unchanged.

The consensus earnings estimate of $11.7 for the current fiscal year indicates a year-over-year change of +21.9%. This estimate has remained unchanged over the last 30 days.

For the next fiscal year, the consensus earnings estimate of $13.24 indicates a change of +13.2% from what Signet is expected to report a year ago. Over the past month, the estimate has remained unchanged.

With an impressive externally audited track record, our proprietary stock rating tool -- the Zacks Rank -- is a more conclusive indicator of a stock's near-term price performance, as it effectively harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions. The size of the recent change in the consensus estimate, along with three other factors related to earnings estimates, has resulted in a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) for Signet.

The chart below shows the evolution of the company's forward 12-month consensus EPS estimate:

12 Month EPS

Revenue Growth ForecastWhile earnings growth is arguably the most superior indicator of a company's financial health, nothing happens as such if a business isn't able to grow its revenues. After all, it's nearly impossible for a company to increase its earnings for an extended period without increasing its revenues. So, it's important to know a company's potential revenue growth.

In the case of Signet, the consensus sales estimate of $1.41 billion for the current quarter points to a year-over-year change of +1.2%. The $6.86 billion and $6.96 billion estimates for the current and next fiscal years indicate changes of +0.7% and +1.4%, respectively.

Last Reported Results and Surprise HistorySignet reported revenues of $1.53 billion in the last reported quarter, representing a year-over-year change of -0.5%. EPS of $2.19 for the same period compares with $1.61 a year ago.

Compared to the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.53 billion, the reported revenues represent a surprise of -0.04%. The EPS surprise was +29.59%.

The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters. The company topped consensus revenue estimates just once over this period.

ValuationWithout considering a stock's valuation, no investment decision can be efficient. In predicting a stock's future price performance, it's crucial to determine whether its current price correctly reflects the intrinsic value of the underlying business and the company's growth prospects.

Comparing the current value of a company's valuation multiples, such as its price-to-earnings (P/E), price-to-sales (P/S), and price-to-cash flow (P/CF), to its own historical values helps ascertain whether its stock is fairly valued, overvalued, or undervalued, whereas comparing the company relative to its peers on these parameters gives a good sense of how reasonable its stock price is.

Signet is graded A on this front, indicating that it is trading at a discount to its peers. Click here to see the values of some of the valuation metrics that have driven this grade.

ConclusionThe facts discussed here and much other information on Zacks.com might help determine whether or not it's worthwhile paying attention to the market buzz about Signet. However, its Zacks Rank #1 does suggest that it may outperform the broader market in the near term.

Bausch Health's Recent UpdatesThe company's board authorized a $50 million share repurchase program. The primary objective is to offset dilution from management equity awards expected to vest in 2027.

Our Take on BHC's Q3 PerformanceBHC delivered solid third-quarter results, benefiting from Xifaxan-led Salix momentum and broad-based growth in its eye-health business. Improved profitability supported another increase in full-year financial guidance.

GE Vernova's $197 Billion Backlog, $9 Billion Acquisition, and One Clear Strategy
GEV-US GE Vernova
FMP Stock News
Original source text
In 2024, Siemens Energy (SMERY +3.04%)(SMEGF +4.05%) was losing billions of dollars in its wind business. It had to sell non-core assets to free up cash. One of them was Trench Group, a company specializing in high-voltage grid components. The price was undisclosed.

Now, GE Vernova (GEV +3.13%) has agreed to buy that same company from investment firm Triton Partners for a whopping $9 billion.

That one fact tells you almost everything about the artificial intelligence (AI) power business today. What it still doesn't reveal is the scale and pace of GE Vernova's growth.

Big acquisition, bigger backlogGE Vernova is the world leader in natural gas and wind turbines. Nearly 25% of all the electricity generated globally passes through its equipment.

It just posted third-quarter numbers, and they're staggering. Orders jumped 96% organically, and backlog grew by $20 billion in a single quarter to reach $197 billion. Management now expects backlog to surpass $200 billion in Q4. That's more than five times the company's 2025 revenue.

Simultaneously, management announced a $9 billion deal to acquire Trench. GE Vernova will pay half in cash and half in debt, and it expects the deal to close in late 2027.

The Trench deal is a masterstrokeGE Vernova operates three businesses:

Power: gas and steam turbines, nuclear and hydro powerElectrification: grid solutions, power conversion, high-voltage equipmentWind: onshore and offshore wind turbines.Power is the largest segment, but electrification is the fastest-growing. It generated roughly 32% of the company's total revenue in the nine months through Sept. 30, 2026, but logged 59% revenue growth.

AI data centers require a massive, constant power supply that traditional grids weren't built to handle. GE Vernova sells the high-voltage transformers, switchgear, and control systems needed to plug these facilities directly into the high-voltage transmission lines.

Supply is so scarce that industry lead times for equipment like transformers now stretch into years. Securing key components is a battleground, so GE Vernova is pulling off a masterstroke: buying the supplier itself.

$905.48+$27.45 (+3.13%)

NYSE · As of 11:30 AM ET 10/29/26

Trench makes bushings, instrument transformers, and coils, or the kind of parts that go into transformers and other equipment. It serves more than 800 utilities and hyperscalers worldwide, has manufacturing facilities across North America, Europe, and Asia, and brings a backlog of nearly $5 billion.

It is already a GE Vernova supplier, and supplies to Siemens Energy and Hitachi's (HTHIY -10.94%) arm, Hitachi Energy, too. So by acquiring Trench, GE Vernova locks up its own supply chain while seizing control of a major bottleneck for two of its biggest grid rivals.

It's a clear strategy: own the AI build-out bottleneck.

What this means for GE Vernova investorsGE Vernova raised its full-year targets for sales, profit margins, and cash flows. It exited Q3 with $16.8 billion in cash and generated $5.4 billion in free cash flow, up from only $732 million a year ago. Customers are paying cash upfront to reserve turbine slots years in advance.

All of that money gives the company significant leeway to spend on growth and return cash to shareholders. Earlier this year, it bought the remaining stake in transformer maker Prolec GE. It is now buying Trench, and management just doubled its stock buyback plan to $20 billion.

GE Vernova's backlog gives it multi-year revenue visibility few industrial companies can match. The stock's still down nearly 17% in six months, as of this writing. This is one company the market isn’t pricing right.

Garmin Q3 Earnings Call Highlights Growth and Cost Pressures
GRMN Garmin
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Garmin raises its 2026 revenue outlook to $8.15 billion and earnings guidance to $10.80 per share.Strong wearables demand drives 16% fitness growth and 20% outdoor growth, supporting Garmin's Q3 results.Rising memory costs threaten 2027 margins, while Garmin expects a Mercedes-Benz program to lift auto sales.
During the third-quarter 2026 earnings call, Garmin Ltd. (GRMN - Free Report) raised its full-year outlook following record quarterly operating results, supported by strong wearable demand, favorable product mix and improved profitability. Management emphasized continued momentum heading into the holiday season.

However, the earnings call also highlighted rising memory costs, supply constraints and potential margin normalization in 2027, even as the company expands production capacity and prepares for new automotive programs.

GRMN reported third-quarter earnings of $2.76 per share, exceeding the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2.38. Revenues of $1.99 billion matched the rounded consensus estimate.

GRMN Raises 2026 Outlook on Strong ExecutionPresident and CEO Clifton Pemble said Garmin expects 2026 revenues of approximately $8.15 billion, up $100 million from its previous forecast. Pro forma earnings guidance increased 80 cents to $10.80 per share.

CFO and Treasurer Douglas Boessen outlined updated gross and operating margin expectations of 61% and 29%, respectively. The effective tax rate forecast remained unchanged at 16.5%.

Garmin Faces Rising Memory Costs in 2027Pemble cautioned that significantly higher memory and raw material prices will increasingly affect profitability as previously purchased lower-cost inventory is consumed.

During the analyst discussion, Barclays questioned the sustainability of elevated margins. Boessen explained that favorable segment mix, Taiwan dollar weakness and $33 million in tariff refunds supported third-quarter profitability.

Management expects gross margins to return toward historical levels in 2027. Pemble emphasized vertical integration, manufacturing scale and selective pricing measures as potential tools for mitigating cost pressures.

GRMN Sees Sustained Wearables DemandFitness revenues increased 16% to $694 million, driven by wearables. Pemble highlighted stronger-than-expected initial demand for the CIRQA Smart Band, with production efforts focused on fulfilling outstanding orders.

Outdoor revenues climbed 20% to $597 million, supported by the newly introduced fenix 9 series. Management expects demand for adventure watches to sustain fourth-quarter growth.

During JPMorgan's questioning, Pemble noted that product registrations exceeded channel sell-in, indicating strong consumer demand despite some retailer destocking. He also said Garmin Connect Plus subscriptions exceeded management expectations, with encouraging renewal trends.

Garmin Highlights Marine and Aviation OpportunitiesMarine revenues advanced 16% to $310 million, supported by sonar products, particularly LiveScope 2. The segment benefited from tariff refunds, underlying margins also improved.

Responding to KeyBanc, Pemble acknowledged softness in the broader marine market, partly reflecting elevated fuel prices. However, demand for newer midrange boats and equipment retrofits remained encouraging.

Aviation revenues increased 5% to $253 million. Management highlighted more than 2,500 aircraft equipped with Garmin Autoland and continued expansion of its flight deck technology across original equipment and retrofit markets.

GRMN Prepares for Automotive RecoveryAuto OEM revenues declined 20% to $132 million as domain controller sales weakened. However, the segment's operating loss narrowed to $12 million following the reassignment of research and development resources.

Pemble expects another comparable revenue decline in the fourth quarter before a major Mercedes-Benz domain controller program supports significant growth in 2027.

During questioning from Tigress Financial Partners, Pemble indicated that the Mercedes-Benz program should begin ramping earlier rather than later in 2027, although precise timing depends on customer production schedules.

Garmin Balances Inventory and Cash FlowBoessen reported third-quarter free cash flow of $293 million, down $132 million year over year, primarily reflecting higher inventory and supplier prepayments.

Management now expects approximately $1.1 billion in full-year free cash flow and $500 million in capital expenditures. Inventory reached approximately $2.3 billion as Garmin secured critical components.

Pemble also confirmed that its Thailand manufacturing facility remains on schedule to begin production in the first quarter of 2027, providing additional capacity amid growing volumes.

GRMN Maintains Focus on ExecutionManagement's tone remained confident about near-term demand while acknowledging supply-chain pressures and uncertainty surrounding 2027 profitability.

Garmin continues prioritizing product innovation, manufacturing expansion and component availability, with fourth-quarter execution and rising input costs central to its outlook.

Garmin's Zacks Rank and Style Scores SignalGarmin currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold), indicating a neutral near-term earnings-revision outlook. Its Growth Score of B and Momentum Score of B reflect relatively favorable growth and price momentum characteristics. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

However, its Value Score of D indicates less attractive valuation characteristics, while the VGM Score of C reflects a mixed overall profile. These scores provide additional context alongside the Zacks Rank rather than definitive signals of future returns. Investors should note that the Zacks Rank may change as analysts revise earnings estimates following the latest quarterly results.

What Is the D-Wave Class Action About?

D-Wave develops and sells quantum computing systems and services, generating revenue through quantum computing as a service, professional services, and quantum computing system sales.

According to the first amended complaint, defendants made materially false and misleading statements concerning D-Wave's bookings, system-sales pipeline, commercial momentum, and anticipated revenue during the Class Period.

Specifically, the complaint alleges that defendants failed to disclose that:

D-Wave's bookings had declined in 2025 despite statements emphasizing meaningful growth and exceptional commercial momentum; The Company's reported record bookings during the first quarter of 2026 consisted predominantly of contracts announced before the Class Period, rather than evidence of accelerating commercial adoption;D-Wave was not on track to convert its purported system-sales pipeline into new bookings at the pace represented to investors; andThe delivery and installation of certain quantum computing systems, and associated revenue recognition, were expected to slip into the fourth quarter of 2026 and 2027. The complaint alleges that these undisclosed conditions rendered defendants' statements about D-Wave's business, operations, and financial prospects materially false or misleading.

What Happened to D-Wave's Stock?

On August 6, 2026, D-Wave announced its second-quarter 2026 financial results, reporting bookings of approximately $2.1 million, a substantial decline from $33.4 million in the preceding quarter. The Company also reported quarterly revenue of approximately $3.1 million, below analysts' consensus estimate of $4.03 million, and a net loss of $0.13 per share, compared with an expected loss of $0.09 per share.

During the accompanying earnings call, D-Wave disclosed that both quantum computing systems it expected to ship in 2026 were likely to ship in the fourth quarter, with installation and calibration extending into 2027. According to the complaint, these disclosures contradicted earlier representations regarding the Company's system-sales pipeline and anticipated deliveries.

On this news, D-Wave's stock price fell approximately 9.26%, closing at $19.41 per share on August 6, 2026.

On August 25, 2026, D-Wave announced that Chief Financial Officer John M. Markovich would resign effective September 2, 2026. The complaint alleges that Markovich notified the Company of his decision on August 19, 2026, less than two weeks after the second-quarter disclosures and approximately two months after selling substantial amounts of D-Wave stock.

The complaint further alleges that defendants Alan Baratz and John Markovich sold approximately 1.3 million D-Wave shares during the Class Period for total proceeds of approximately $34.8 million.

Following the CFO departure announcement, D-Wave's stock price declined approximately 9.51%, closing at $17.51 per share on August 26, 2026, according to the complaint.

What Is a Lead Plaintiff?

A lead plaintiff is a court-appointed investor who represents the proposed class in directing the litigation. Investors seeking appointment as lead plaintiff must file their motions with the Court by December 15, 2026.

Serving as lead plaintiff is not required to participate in any potential recovery. Investors may retain counsel of their choice, take no action, or remain absent members of the proposed class. No class has yet been certified.

Pomerantz Law Firm Announces the Filing of a Class Action Against D-Wave Quantum Inc. and Certain Officers - QBTS
QBTS D-Wave Quantum
FMP Stock News
Original source text
, /PRNewswire/ -- Pomerantz LLP announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed against D-Wave Quantum Inc. ("D-Wave" or the "Company") (NASDAQ:QBTS) and certain officers. The class action, filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and docketed under 26-cv-12155, is on behalf of a class consisting of all persons and entities other than the above-captioned defendants ("Defendants") that purchased or otherwise acquired D-Wave securities between February 27, 2026 and August 25, 2026, both dates inclusive (the "Class Period"), seeking to recover damages caused by Defendants' violations of the federal securities laws and to pursue remedies under Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 Rule 10b-5 promulgated thereunder, against the Company and certain of its top officials.

If you are an investor who purchased or otherwise acquired D-Wave securities during the Class Period, you have until December 15, 2026 to ask the Court to appoint you as Lead Plaintiff for the class. A copy of the Complaint can be obtained at www.pomerantzlaw.com. To discuss this action, contact Danielle Peyton at [email protected] or 646-581-9980 (or 888.4-POMLAW), toll-free, Ext. 7980. Those who inquire by e-mail are encouraged to include their mailing address, telephone number, and the number of shares purchased.

[Click here for information about joining the class action]

D-Wave is a quantum computing company focused on the development and delivery of quantum computing systems, software, and services.

At all relevant times, D-Wave represented that its "business model is focused on generating revenue from providing customers access to our quantum computing systems via the cloud in the form of quantum computing as a service products, providing professional services wherein we assist our customers in identifying and implementing quantum computing applications, and selling our quantum computer systems to customers." Accordingly, Defendants reported the Company's revenue in segments including, as relevant here, quantum computer system sales.

After entering into an agreement to sell a quantum computer system, D-Wave recognizes revenue from such sales on a percentage of completion basis, given that several steps are required to render a quantum computer system operational, including but not limited to preparation of the site where the quantum computer will be located, installation, and subsequent calibration of the system.

Although Defendants disclosed to investors these intermediary steps that D-Wave would need to complete between entering a quantum computer sales agreement and recognizing revenue from that sale, they nonetheless assured investors that revenue recognition from such system sales would take place within "multiple months and possibly quarters".

On January 27, 2026, D-Wave announced that Florida Atlantic University had agreed to purchase a quantum computer system for $20 million (the "FAU System Sale"). In this announcement, D-Wave stated that the "deployment" of this quantum computer system was "expected later in 2026". Given that D-Wave, at all relevant times, recognized revenue from quantum computer systems sales on a percentage-of-completion basis, stating that D-Wave expected deployment of a quantum computer system later in 2026 was, in essence, a statement that Defendants expected D-Wave to recognize revenue from the sale of this system later in 2026.

In addition, throughout the Class Period Defendants consistently assured investors that D-Wave enjoyed robust bookings for future sales and that D-Wave's customers expressed "growing interest" in such sales.

The complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and misleading statements regarding the Company's business, operations, and compliance policies. Specifically, Defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (i) Defendants materially understated the amount of time needed to execute intermediary steps necessary to recognize revenue from quantum computer system sales, including the FAU System Sale; (ii) Defendants materially overstated their ability to convert purportedly robust demand for quantum computer systems into sales agreements and recognized revenue; and (iii) as a result, Defendants' public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.

The truth began to emerge on May 12, 2026, when D-Wave reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2026. Among other items, D-Wave reported revenue of only $2.86 million, compared to $12.6 million for the same period in the prior year, and below analyst expectations of $4.04 million. D-Wave also announced a revised timetable concerning FAU's quantum computer system, stating that "system installation is expected to commence before the end of 2026".

On this news, D-Wave's stock price fell $1.68 per share, or 6.69%, to close at $22.35 per share on May 12, 2026.

Then, on August 6, 2026, D-Wave reported its financial results for the second quarter of 2026. Among other items, D-Wave reported revenue of only $3.08 million, compared to $3.1 million for the same period in the prior year, and missed analyst expectations in the range of $4.03 million to $4.08 million. In the quarterly report on Form 10-Q it filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") that day, D-Wave explained its revenue from system sales during the quarter decreased year-over-year by $0.8 million, "primarily due to variability in the timing and extent of system installation activities and extent of installation activities in each period", and similarly attributed a year-over year decrease in its revenue for the first six months of 2026 to a "decrease in systems sales" that "was primarily due to the timing of progress recognized under the percentage-of-completion method on the system contracted for delivery in each period."

On this news, D-Wave's stock price fell $1.99 per share, or 9.28%, to close at $19.41 per share on August 6, 2026.

Then, on August 25, 2026, D-Wave issued a press release "announc[ing] that John Markovich is retiring and thus resigning from his position as Chief Financial Officer effective September 2, 2026."

On this news, D-Wave's stock price fell $1.84 per share, or 9.51%, to close at $17.51 per share on August 26, 2026.

Class members may be able to seek compensation without paying out-of-pocket fees. Find out if you might qualify for recovery or contact Joseph E. Levi, Esq. at [email protected] or (888) SueWallSt.

THE NUMBERS: D-Wave reported second quarter 2026 revenue of $3.08 million, up to $1.00 million below analyst expectations, and QBTS shareholders absorbed a $1.99 per-share decline (9.28%) on August 6, 2026, the day those results were released. That revenue shortfall anchors this quantum computing securities action. Investors have until December 15, 2026 to seek lead plaintiff status.

How D-Wave Turns Quantum Computing Into Revenue

As set forth in the complaint, D-Wave draws revenue from three principal sources: quantum computing as a service (QCaaS), which provides cloud-based access to its systems; professional services; and sales of quantum computing systems.

That figure is where the case turns. It is alleged that defendants materially overstated D-Wave's business and financial prospects during the Class Period, describing growth and operational momentum that quarterly revenue would not bear out.

The Alleged 24% Revenue Shortfall at the Center of the Case

The filing states that on August 6, 2026, D-Wave reported quarterly revenue of just $3.08 million, while analysts had expected between $4.03 million and $4.08 million. The same quarter one year earlier produced $3.1 million, meaning revenue slipped slightly year over year instead of expanding.

Under the theory pleaded, that flat quarter undercut the momentum story presented to the market and contributed to the losses shareholders now seek to recover.

"The complaint raises serious questions about whether investors received accurate information about D-Wave's revenue trajectory before the Company reported $3.08 million against expectations above $4 million. Shareholders who bought during the Class Period deserve a full accounting of how that gap allegedly developed." -- Joseph E. Levi, Esq.

Frequently Asked Questions About the QBTS Lawsuit

Q: How much did QBTS stock drop? A: Shares reportedly fell $1.99 per share, or about 9.28%, to close at $19.41 on August 6, 2026, after revenue fell shy of analyst consensus for the quarter. The complaint asserts the stock fell a further $1.84 per share, or about 9.51%, to close at $17.51 on August 26, 2026, following the Company's announcement that CFO Markovich would be retiring. Investors who purchased shares during the Class Period at allegedly artificially inflated prices and suffered losses may be eligible to seek compensation.

Q: What specific misstatements does the QBTS lawsuit allege? A: The complaint alleges D-Wave Quantum Inc. made materially false or misleading statements regarding its business and financial prospects, including its growth and operational momentum, during the Class Period. When second quarter 2026 revenue of $3.08 million, short of analyst expectations of $4.03 million to $4.08 million, was disclosed on August 6, 2026, the stock price declined sharply.

Q: When did D-Wave Quantum Inc. allegedly mislead investors? A: The Class Period runs from February 26, 2026 to August 25, 2026. The complaint alleges that corrective disclosures revealed information that caused a significant stock decline.

Q: What happens after I submit my information? A: Your trading history will be reviewed at no cost for an initial assessment of your potential eligibility.

Q: What if I already sold my QBTS shares -- can I still recover losses?

Q: What if I live outside the United States? A: U.S. securities class actions generally cover purchases on U.S. exchanges regardless of the investor's country of residence.

EXE Q3 Earnings Call Eyes Marketing Growth Amid Gas Price Weakness
EXE Expand Energy
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Key Takeaways Expand Energy targets a $500 million marketing EBITDA run rate by 2028 after its Twin Eagle acquisition.EXE cut its rig count from roughly 12 to 10 and deferred nine well turn-in-lines as gas prices weakened.EXE hedged 55% of 2027 gas output at $3.65 per Mcf, bolstering downside protection while retaining upside.
Expand Energy Corporation (EXE - Free Report) is positioning its expanded gas marketing platform to cushion weak near-term prices, while preparing for demand growth later in the decade. Management emphasized commercial integration, flexible production and disciplined capital deployment on its third-quarter 2026 earnings call.

New chief executive officer Daniel Brown highlighted the company's scale, inventory and customer access, emphasizing execution on the platform already assembled.

EXE Targets Higher Marketing MarginsChief financial officer Marcel Teunissen said that the Sept. 16 acquisition of Twin Eagle has broadened the company's reach to industrial, power and other natural gas customers across North America.

Teunissen projected $80 million in combined marketing and commercial EBITDA for the fourth quarter, equivalent to roughly $0.12 per Mcf, despite low expected price volatility.

In response to Goldman Sachs, he outlined a target of a $500 million marketing and commercial EBITDA run rate by 2028, with a longer-term goal of $750 million as LNG opportunities develop.

Asked by Wolfe Research about breakevens, Teunissen said that commercial gains could lower the company's cash breakeven, including dividends, from about $2.8 per Mcf to $2.6 by 2028.

Expand Stays Flexible as Gas Prices WeakenChief operating officer Josh Viets told a JPMorgan analyst that incremental gas supply and subdued winter expectations are weighing on the 2027 forward price curve despite strong underlying demand.

Expand reduced drilling activity from approximately 12 rigs to 10 entering the fourth quarter and deferred nine well turn-in-lines during the third quarter. Viets said the company would adjust production timing to market conditions.

He described 2027 as a transition year ahead of roughly 13 Bcf/d of additional demand expected by year-end 2028. Fourth-quarter production guidance of 7.4-7.6 Bcf/d preserves operating flexibility; the company expects 7.45-7.55 Bcfe/d for full-year 2026.

EXE Extends Downside Protection Through HedgingTeunissen told a Pickering Energy Partners analyst that management hedged more aggressively after judging earlier forward prices inconsistent with supply-demand fundamentals.

The company has hedged 55% of its 2027 gas production at an average price of $3.65 per Mcf. The strategy combines instruments designed to protect downside exposure while retaining some upside participation.

Hedging improved third-quarter realized prices by $0.46 per Mcfe. Adjusted earnings of $1.46 per share beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.28, while natural gas, oil and NGL revenue of $1.88 billion missed the $2.06 billion estimate.

Expand Weighs Inflation Against Efficiency GainsViets said that diesel costs drove much of 2026 inflation, while greater use of electric fracturing fleets should cut diesel consumption by about 50% in 2027.

He expects low to mid-single-digit cost inflation next year, particularly from pressure pumping and oil-country tubular goods as drilling activity increases.

To counter that pressure, Viets highlighted a 20% improvement in Southwest Appalachia drilling footage per day and a 10% reduction in drilling cost per foot from 2025 to 2026.

EXE Prioritizes Balance Sheet DisciplineWith full-year capital investment guidance updated to approximately $3 billion, Teunissen told UBS that drilling and completion spending, dividends and balance sheet strength come before discretionary growth opportunities, including stock repurchases.

Expand repurchased $305 million in shares during the quarter and reported leverage of 0.8x. After the Twin Eagle acquisition added debt, management intends to reduce leverage while preserving opportunities for additional buybacks.

Brown told a Morgan Stanley analyst that acquisitions must improve the portfolio and deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns. He emphasized confidence in achievable synergies rather than pursuing transactions for scale alone.

Expand Focuses on Execution Into 2027Brown's early message centered on continuous improvement and careful capital allocation across the integrated platform. His appointment places an experienced upstream executive alongside the recently strengthened commercial organization.

Management maintained a measured posture toward near-term gas pricing while pursuing longer-term customer relationships and operational improvements. Its priorities remain flexibility, integration and financial resilience.

EXE's Zacks Rank and Style Scores Send Mixed SignalsEXE carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold), reflecting a neutral near-term rating. Its Value Score of A and Growth Score of B indicate favorable valuation and growth characteristics, while its Momentum Score of F points to a weak momentum profile.

The VGM Score of A reflects a favorable weighted combination of value, growth and momentum measures. However, the strongest historical combinations pair favorable Style Scores with Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) or 2 (Buy) stocks. EXE's Zacks Rank can change as analysts revise earnings estimates following the results. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank stocks here.

Chamath Says Just 1% of Companies Drive 90% of AI Spending. Here’s Why That Matters for Your Portfolio
CRWV CoreWeave
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Chamath Palihapitiya just revealed where most AI revenue actually comes from, and the answer raises serious questions about how stable the entire AI supply chain really is for investors holding chipmakers, cloud stocks, or broad index funds.

Chamath Palihapitiya has put numbers on the AI bubble debate, and they point to a narrow customer base. In an All-In podcast episode published October 23, 2026, Chamath Palihapitiya said 1% of companies account for 90% of AI spending. Chamath Palihapitiya added that 80% of that concentrated spending comes from unprofitable venture-backed startups. If most AI revenue traces back to companies that burn cash, then the revenue lasts only as long as investors keep writing checks.

In Palihapitiya’s own words: “So what I said was 1% of companies represent 90% of AI spending. So that’s tokens. And of that 90%, 80% of them are from unprofitable VC-backed companies.”

He offered the data in response to Griffin. Griffin, Citadel’s founder, said at his firm’s annual Future of Global Markets conference that AI is almost certainly a bubble. Griffin said he is bullish long term but worries companies are struggling to turn AI spending into productivity.

How Venture Money Turns Into AI Revenue Palihapitiya walked through how the money moves: “VCs raised from pension funds and LPs and foundations and family offices. They put money into a startup; that startup takes that money and invests in growth.” When that startup needs more capital, it “raises a bunch of money from the same VCs. And it’s just this circularity.”

His conclusion ties back to Griffin: “For AI to really scale as a predictable driver of long-term earnings, it has to diffuse out of the startup ecosystem.”

Put simply, a big share of the tokens sold by model labs is paid for with venture dollars, and those labs then buy cloud capacity, while cloud providers buy chips, power, and buildings. Each supplier’s revenue depends on the one ahead of it in that chain.

What Happens to Suppliers If Funding Slows Infrastructure plans now run far ahead of what profitable customers alone have shown they can pay for. On The AI Investor Podcast, 24/7 Wall St. noted that expected AI data center capital spending for 2026 had reached 845 billion, with 2027 expectations at nearly 1.4 trillion.

If venture funding tightens, unprofitable startups cut their token budgets first. Model labs would see revenue growth slow, reducing their computing orders, and the slowdown would reach cloud and hardware suppliers months later. The market has already reacted to that risk. During the same episode, a co-host noted that data center operator CoreWeave (NASDAQ:CRWV) had fallen 10% as tech sold off over capex concerns.

Why Open Source and Owned Data Centers Change the Math Palihapitiya also said large enterprises are moving toward open-source models and building their own data centers. The All-In hosts gave an example in September. Trading firm Jane Street publicly announced $19 billion in cloud capacity contracts, including 6 billion with CoreWeave and 13 billion with Crusoe, while also using open source.

That matters because the profitable buyers Griffin wants to see arrive may direct their spending differently, and their money may go to computing capacity and free models, with fewer dollars paid per token to frontier labs. The winners from enterprise adoption could look quite different from today’s winners, which are funded by startup spending. Riding a boom like this is fine as long as you know what the exit looks like, which is the whole subject of our free bubble survivor’s handbook.

What Retirees Should Check in Their AI Exposure Retirement-age investors often hold more AI exposure than they realize. Broad index funds, growth funds, and target-date funds lean heavily on the same chipmakers, cloud providers, and infrastructure names whose revenue Palihapitiya traced back to venture capital. Pension funds also sit at the top of his chain as limited partners in venture funds.

A few questions are worth asking:

How much of your portfolio, across all your funds combined, depends on AI infrastructure spending? Could you avoid selling stocks for several years if AI names went through a long drawdown? Do your holdings include businesses that would benefit from enterprise adoption, such as companies that use AI to cut costs, along with the suppliers that sell to startups? Our Takeaway Palihapitiya’s numbers explain why AI supplier revenue can look strong and still be thin. As long as roughly 80% of top-tier spending comes from unprofitable startups, as Chamath Palihapitiya estimates, that revenue rises and falls with venture fundraising. Investors close to retirement should size their AI exposure for that risk. The signal to track is enterprise adoption: profitable companies paying for AI at scale, whether through open-source models, their own data centers, or frontier labs. Until that broadens, a meaningful share of the AI boom runs on venture money.

GigaCloud Technology Inc. (GCT) to Report Q3 Results: Wall Street Expects Earnings Growth
GCT GigaCloud Technology
FMP Stock News
Original source text
Wall Street expects a year-over-year increase in earnings on higher revenues when GigaCloud Technology Inc. (GCT - Free Report) reports results for the quarter ended September 2026. While this widely-known consensus outlook is important in gauging the company's earnings picture, a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price is how the actual results compare to these estimates.

The earnings report might help the stock move higher if these key numbers are better than expectations. On the other hand, if they miss, the stock may move lower.

While the sustainability of the immediate price change and future earnings expectations will mostly depend on management's discussion of business conditions on the earnings call, it's worth handicapping the probability of a positive EPS surprise.

Zacks Consensus EstimateThis company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $1.28 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of +29.3%.

Revenues are expected to be $394.8 million, up 18.7% from the year-ago quarter.

Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 20% higher over the last 30 days to the current level.

How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for GigaCloud Technology Inc.?For GigaCloud Technology Inc., the Most Accurate Estimate is the same as the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that there are no recent analyst views which differ from what have been considered to derive the consensus estimate. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of 0%.

On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #1.

So, this combination makes it difficult to conclusively predict that GigaCloud Technology Inc. will beat the consensus EPS estimate.

Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue? While calculating estimates for a company's future earnings, analysts often consider to what extent it has been able to match past consensus estimates. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.

For the last reported quarter, it was expected that GigaCloud Technology Inc. would post earnings of $0.85 per share when it actually produced earnings of $1.16, delivering a surprise of +36.47%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates four times.

An Industry Player's Expected ResultsAnother stock from the Zacks Technology Services industry, AppLovin (APP - Free Report) , is soon expected to post earnings of $3.95 per share for the quarter ended September 2026. This estimate indicates a year-over-year change of +61.2%. Revenues for the quarter are expected to be $2.08 billion, up 47.8% from the year-ago quarter.

The consensus EPS estimate for AppLovin has been revised 1.2% lower over the last 30 days to the current level. However, a higher Most Accurate Estimate has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +3.04%.

When combined with a Zacks Rank of #4 (Sell), this Earnings ESP makes it difficult to conclusively predict that AppLovin will beat the consensus EPS estimate. The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters.
