Ripple [XRP] News Roundup: XRP Jumps 4.3% As CLARITY Vote Looms
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
XRP is trading at $1.40, up 4.3% over 24 hours, a bounce from the $1.34-$1.35 range it held for much of the week, against a backdrop of unusually busy institutional and infrastructure news across the Ripple ecosystem.

Smart Money and Retail Are Moving in Opposite Directions

On-chain data shows a widening gap between retail and institutional XRP activity, with retail traders losing nearly twice what they’re gaining while larger holders do the opposite. The data flagged $1.3459 as a level where a wave of retail selling coincided with accumulation from larger wallets, the same pattern seen just before XRP’s run to $1.68 in August.

A European Manufacturer Plugs Into Ripple’s Treasury Stack

German logistics and manufacturing giant TRATON has connected to Ripple’s treasury infrastructure, gaining access to both XRP and RLUSD on the same platform without needing new vendors or wallets.

RLUSD lets the company move money across borders in minutes rather than days before converting to local currency, while XRP is treated like a standard bank account with a full audit trail, real-time valuation and 15-decimal precision.

First Public-Chain Tokenized Fund Cleared by an EU Regulator

Aviva Investors has launched a tokenized share class of its USD Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger in partnership with Ripple, approved by the Central Bank of Ireland, marking the first public-chain tokenized fund structure cleared by a major EU regulator.

The operational stack spans BNY Mellon for underlying asset custody, Komainu for digital asset custody, and Licuido for tokenization infrastructure, with the fund retaining the same investment objective, risk profile and regulatory protections as its traditional share class under a “digital twin” model.

Ripple Eyes Institutional Lending as XRP’s Next Use Case

Ripple product head Jazzi Cooper says institutional credit remains largely untapped in on-chain finance and could become a significant new role for XRP. The XRP Ledger’s Lending Protocol already enables fixed-term loans funded through Single Asset Vaults, with borrowers undergoing offchain underwriting while the lending itself runs on XRPL infrastructure. A protocol update is expected alongside XRPL 3.4.0 next week.

RLUSD Supply Surges Past $2.4 Billion

RLUSD’s total supply has climbed to roughly $2.42 billion, split between $1.37 billion on Ethereum and $1.05 billion on the XRP Ledger, up more than 50% over the past 30 days.

Ripple Expands Its Team and Global Presence

Ripple has hired Craig Beveridge as VP of Talent Acquisition, following five years building out talent acquisition at Cedar, as the company continues staffing up heading into its next growth phase.

Ripple’s Abdallah Mukalled, Senior Policy Manager for the Middle East and Africa, is set to speak at the Middle East Stablecoin Forum 2026 in Dubai on September 17, an event expected to draw more than 300 participants and 30-plus speakers, including regulators and banks from across the GCC region.

All Eyes on Tuesday’s CLARITY Act Vote

Adding urgency to the week, Senate Majority Leader John Thune is reportedly urging Democrats to advance the CLARITY Act in Tuesday’s procedural vote, with the understanding that further changes could still be negotiated afterward.

Commentators following the bill describe Tuesday’s cloture vote as the closest crypto legislation has come to clearing this specific hurdle, with significant attention on whether it succeeds.

XRP surges 80% in 24-hour trading volume, net ETF inflows hit $19 million
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
XRP is regaining positive momentum after breaking out from a prolonged downtrend, driven by improved technical indicators and rising investor interest. The recent rally has highlighted XRP as a coin to watch, particularly as traders monitor its next move following renewed bullish interest.

Analysts Target Higher PricesMikyBullCrypto, a well-known cryptocurrency market analyst, identified XRP as one of the most promising digital assets currently. The analyst noted that XRP’s price chart appears bullish, suggesting a potential rally towards the $5 to $7 range in the future.

XRP underwent a structural shift following the July and August trading period, when its price remained below $1.00. The digital asset quickly gained momentum from those levels to reach $1.70, marking a significant departure from its previous bearish pattern.

After reaching $1.70, XRP entered a consolidation phase between $1.35 and $1.50, allowing the market to absorb recent gains. As of the latest data, XRP trades at $1.3787, up 2.82% on the day.

XRP’s technical landscape has strengthened above key support levels, with the asset maintaining its bullish trend after leaving behind its previous downtrend.

Support and Technical IndicatorsTechnically, XRP remains above both the 20-day exponential moving average of $1.35889 and the 200-day exponential moving average of $1.35485. Sustaining levels above these averages is regarded as essential for keeping the positive trend intact, while movement below them could indicate renewed weakness.

Both moving averages are near the current price, forming a tight support zone. If buyers hold these thresholds, XRP may attempt another move toward its upper consolidation range.

The relative strength index (RSI) for XRP is approximately 54.83, well below the earlier overbought territory above 75. This level indicates that XRP’s momentum remains constructive, with buyers still holding the advantage as long as the RSI stays above its neutral point at 50.

If XRP can advance beyond the current consolidation area while maintaining this positive momentum, its prospects for another significant move upward will improve.

Conversely, a decline below these technical support levels would suggest sellers have regained short-term control.

XRP’s derivatives market activity has surged, as Coinglass reports a 24-hour trading volume jump of 79.53% to $2.40 billion. Open interest also climbed 1.49% to $2.89 billion, reflecting growing market engagement, particularly among leveraged traders.

MetricCurrent ValueChange (24h)Trading Volume$2.40 billion+79.53%Open Interest$2.89 billion+1.49%A continued rise in open interest indicates a build-up in leveraged positions, increasing both the breakout potential and the risk of volatility if positions become heavily one-sided.

Whale Insider, a platform monitoring major crypto flows, reported net ETF inflows of $18.98 million into XRP in the past week. Consistent ETF inflows often signal steady demand from institutional investors.

Mini dictionary: Whale Insider, a data provider specializing in tracking large cryptocurrency transactions and market flows. Its reports are often referenced for monitoring institutional or “whale” movements in digital asset markets.

While the technical outlook and trading metrics are showing robust support for XRP, analysts emphasize that forecasts—such as MikyBullCrypto’s $5 to $7 price prediction—reflect an optimistic scenario rather than a definitive outcome. Sustained demand and favorable market conditions are still required to realize such moves.

Crypto Market Braces for Volatility as Goldman Sachs & JPMorgan Expect Fed Rate Hike This Week
BTC Bitcoin ETH Ethereum XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
The crypto market is bracing for huge volatility in Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and XRP due to a macro-heavy week. Wall Street giants JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs now expect a Fed rate hike. Traders expect price action to remain choppy as multiple key events, including the CLARITY Act vote and the Bank of Japan rate decision, are also scheduled this week.

Escalating the Middle East conflict is increasing uncertainty in global markets and risking pressure on the crypto market. In addition, skyrocketing oil prices, Treasury yields, and the US dollar are contributing to heightened selling pressure on Bitcoin.

JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs Estimate 25 Bps Fed Rate Hike in September Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan have shifted to expecting a 25 bps Fed rate hike at the September meeting after hotter August inflation and the renewed oil surge. Markets are pricing roughly an 87% probability of a hike, Reuters reported on September 14.

Goldman Sachs abandoned its previous call for the Fed to hold rates steady and now projects a 25bps hike at the September 16 FOMC meeting. In contrast, JPMorgan is forecasting 25bps hikes in both September and December.

The shift follows hotter-than-expected August PPI and CPI inflation data. The continued US-Iran war is keeping oil prices elevated. At the time of writing, oil prices were 3% above $103 per barrel today.

Meanwhile, the US Fed rate decision is followed by the Bank of England and Bank of Japan’s interest rate decisions. Goldman Sachs expects potential selling pressure on Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP, as higher rates generally mean tighter financial conditions and a stronger dollar.

CME FedWatch Tool now shows an almost 88% probability of a 25 bps rate hike this week, up from around 70% before the latest inflation prints. The narrative has moved from whether the Fed would hike rates at all to how large and persistent a new tightening cycle could become.

Crypto Market Could Face Selling Pressure Meanwhile, the CLARITY Act is set for a Senate procedural vote on Tuesday. Bernstein said crypto markets currently have a bearish bias, leaving room for a rebound amid positive CLARITY Act news.

President Trump agreed to ethics provision in new crypto bill text. Bernstein sees some Democrats supporting it to meet the 60-vote requirement. Bloomberg has reported that about 7 to 10 Democrats “sound like they want to ultimately pass a bill,” but public commitments remain limited.

Bernstein predicts upside momentum in crypto assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP as Democratic support could lift sentiment in the crypto market. However, a failed vote, especially if paired with hawkish Fed commentary, could trigger another crash in the crypto market and crypto-linked stocks.

The derivatives market showed buying sentiment in the last few hours, as per CoinGlass data. At the time of writing, the total Bitcoin futures open interest jumped 2.78% to $52.80 in the past 24 hours. The 24-hour BTC futures OI is up more than 1.42% on CME and 2.22% on Binance.

Polymarket data shows prediction market participants expect the Bitcoin price to reach $85,000 by December 31, 2026, with 67% ‘Yes’ bets.

Altcoin Sezonu İçin Kritik Gösterge Yeniden Sorgulandı!
APT Aptos BNB BNB BTC Bitcoin ETH Ethereum JUP Jupiter KAS Kaspa SOL Solana TRX Tron XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text

Jupiter’in JUP tokenı ise tokenleştirilmiş varlık alanındaki genişlemesine rağmen yalnızca yüzde 0,7 geriledi.

Yükselen tarafta Tron yüzde 2,7 değer kazandı. Canary Capital’ın TRXS adlı ilk spot staking destekli TRON ETF’sini başlatması, TRX için önemli bir katalizör oldu.

Aptos yüzde 6,4 yükseldi. Bitwise’ın potansiyel spot Aptos ETF’si için S-1 başvurusu yapması, APT’ye kurumsal erişimin genişleyebileceği beklentisini artırdı.

En güçlü performansı ise Kaspa gösterdi. KAS yüzde 23 yükselirken dolaşımdaki arzın hard cap’in yaklaşık yüzde 96,5’ine ulaşması, gelecekteki arz seyrelmesine ilişkin endişeleri azalttı.

Bitcoin Hakimiyeti Altcoin Sezonunu Geciktiriyor Mu? Piyasanın genel görünümü hâlâ Bitcoin lehine. Altcoin sezon endeksi haber sırasında 40 seviyesinde bulunuyordu.

Upbit reports $8B weekly trading volume as XRP leads the pack
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
South Korea’s crypto market is doing just fine, thanks for asking. Upbit, the country’s dominant exchange, posted weekly trading volume of 11.2 trillion won, roughly $8 billion, for the most recent reporting week. That figure represents a 6.74% jump from the prior week, and XRP claimed the top spot among the most actively traded assets on the platform.

The trading hierarchy on Upbit for the week placed XRP first, Bitcoin second, and USDT third. XRP/KRW pairs have repeatedly surpassed BTC/KRW in daily and weekly rankings over the past year, with Korean traders dealing directly in won-denominated pairs rather than routing through dollar-based stablecoins.

XRP has captured the largest share of volume spikes during periods of heightened activity, including recent daily peaks where Upbit’s trading volumes soared over 270%, with single-day figures reaching as high as $3.81 billion.

Upbit is operated by Dunamu and sits comfortably at the top of the South Korean exchange hierarchy. Its closest domestic competitor is Bithumb, though Upbit’s volumes have consistently run ahead. The exchange has over 12–13 million registered users historically noted as active participants.

For anyone tracking global crypto demand, the Upbit data carries a few implications worth sitting with. XRP sits well outside the top two by market cap globally, but by trading activity on one of Asia’s most active exchanges, it routinely competes with Bitcoin for the top slot. Strong local demand for XRP/KRW can support price floors and reduce volatility in ways that are not immediately visible if you are only watching dollar-denominated order books on Western exchanges.

XRP Overtakes Bitcoin on South Korea's Top Exchange
BTC Bitcoin XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News

South Korea's dominant crypto exchange, Upbit (@Official_Upbit), recorded 11.2 trillion won in weekly trading volume, equivalent to roughly $8 billion, marking a 6.74% increase from the prior week. The latest data places $XRP at the top of the platform's most actively traded assets, ahead of $BTC in second place and USDT in third.

XRP Leads South Korea's Biggest Exchange The ranking is consistent with a broader pattern on Upbit. The latest weekly figures suggest that trend has carried into 2026.

Upbit's Position in the Korean Market

That regulatory structure helps explain why retail capital repeatedly rotates into $XRP during periods of heightened activity.

Analysts note that concentrated volume does not always translate directly into sustained price moves.

XRP Faces Critical Week: CLARITY Act Vote and Fed Decision Loom Over $1.36 Price Level
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
Key Takeaways XRP maintained a position around $1.35–$1.36 on Monday with two significant market events scheduled for this week A Senate cloture vote on the CLARITY Act is set for September 15, needing 60 affirmative votes to advance Friday saw President Trump convene with advisers regarding ethics provisions within the proposed cryptocurrency legislation Wednesday brings the Federal Reserve’s rate announcement, with futures markets pricing in a 90% probability of a 25-basis-point increase Technical analysis shows XRP facing resistance between $1.37–$1.40, while finding support at $1.33 and the 200-day EMA around $1.354 On Monday, XRP was changing hands near $1.36, maintaining its position above critical moving average levels as market participants prepared for two significant developments scheduled for this week. Bitcoin hovered around $77,000, Ethereum traded near $2,490, and Solana remained close to the $100 mark.

XRP Price The first major event arrives September 15 at 2:15 p.m. ET with a Senate procedural vote on the CLARITY Act. This cloture vote represents a procedural hurdle rather than final passage — it determines whether the legislation can proceed to full debate. Success requires 60 Senate votes, a challenging threshold given Republicans control only 53 seats, necessitating support from at least seven Democratic senators.

Prominent crypto analyst Crypto Rover shared news on X about recent political discussions: “BREAKING: President Trump reportedly met with advisers to discuss the CLARITY Act ahead of Tuesday’s crucial Senate vote.” The announcement generated substantial attention among traders evaluating potential political outcomes.

BREAKING: 🇺🇸 White House agrees to major crypto ethics rules in a last-minute push to save the CLARITY Act.

Senate Republicans just released a revised 635-page CLARITY Act ahead of Tuesday’s critical vote.

Last Thursday, Senator Cynthia Lummis unveiled an updated 630-page version of the legislation. According to her statement, the revision incorporates more than 114 modifications requested by Democratic colleagues — though these edits don’t automatically translate into secured votes.

Revised CLARITY Act Provisions The modified legislation focuses on decentralized finance protocols that claim decentralization while maintaining centralized operational structures. Under the revised framework, such platforms would face CFTC registration requirements and must adhere to Bank Secrecy Act obligations.

Crypto analyst Lark Davis provided analysis on X regarding the updates: “Non-decentralized DeFi protocols must now register with the CFTC, with CFTC and Treasury jointly writing the rules. DeFi provisions narrowed to spot trading only.” The updated draft also provides clarity around digital asset service offerings by credit unions.

Following Friday’s White House discussions, questions surrounding ethics language and stablecoin reward mechanisms remain without resolution.

Federal Reserve Decision Creates Additional Market Focus The Federal Open Market Committee convenes September 15–16, with Wednesday’s 2 p.m. ET announcement drawing significant attention. Interest rate futures indicate approximately 90% probability of a quarter-percentage-point increase. August’s year-over-year inflation figure of 3.4% maintains upward pressure on the Federal Reserve to implement tightening measures.

From a technical perspective, analyst Ali Charts monitors the $1.31–$1.35 range as crucial support territory. His X post stated: “As long as XRP holds the $1.31–$1.35 support zone, I’m watching for price to push toward the triangle’s apex. The key confirmation comes at $1.38. A decisive break above that resistance could open the door to $1.60.”

XRP BREAKOUT INCOMING!?

— Ali Charts (@alicharts) September 13, 2026

Technical indicators showed XRP’s Relative Strength Index registering near 53 on Monday — indicating neutral momentum. The MACD indicator remained in slightly negative territory, suggesting ongoing consolidation. The 200-day exponential moving average at $1.354 currently provides immediate support.

Upside resistance levels include $1.37 initially, followed by $1.40 and $1.45 should bullish momentum develop. A break below $1.33 would likely target the next support zone near $1.30.

As of Monday’s trading session, XRP remained positioned above its 50-day EMA ($1.280), 100-day EMA ($1.252), and 200-day EMA ($1.354).

XRP Ledger Produces Highest-Ever Number of Transactions in Single Block
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
The XRP Ledger has apparently set a new record for the number of transactions processed within a single ledger.

XRPL validator Vet reported that one ledger contained 3,254 transactions, describing it as a new all-time high.

"3254 transactions in a single block a few hours ago on the XRP Ledger. New record," Vet wrote.

HOT Stories

The unusually large ledger appears to have been dominated by tiny XRP transfers.

According to Vet, most of the transactions were payments of just one drop, the smallest unit of XRP.

"I don't know why this person is doing these transactions, but it looks like throughput testing, probably," Vet said.

What the record actually meansThe 3,254-transaction figure does not necessarily mean that the XRP Ledger suddenly increased its permanent transaction-processing limit.

XRPL does not operate with a simple fixed maximum number of transactions that can fit into every ledger. This sets it apart from Bitcoin, whose transaction capacity is not adaptive.

The network uses a soft transaction target that can move depending on how quickly validators are able to process transactions.

You Might Also Like

If a ledger contains more transactions than the current target, the network can increase the target depending on how quickly it closes.

“If the last ledger packed more than the target and still closed fast, the target can rise, indicating healthy consensus so the network clears more transactions,” Vet said.

The 3,254 simple payments are not equivalent to 3,254 complex transactions.

"Basically not all transactions are equal in load footprint," Vet explained.

Major XRP Ledger amendments moving forwardThe network is also preparing for a substantial batch of protocol upgrades introduced with xrpld 3.3.0, which was released on Aug. 6. The release added BatchV1_1, ConfidentialTransfer, DynamicMPT, PermissionDelegationV1_1 and Sponsor, alongside a collection of protocol fixes.

BatchV1_1 is currently the closest of the new features to the required validator threshold. As of Sept. 14, 27 of 35 trusted validators were signaling support.

Analyst ChartNerd claims $XRP still heading to zero, inverted chart suggests bullish setup
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
Crypto analyst ChartNerd, widely followed for his technical analysis on social platforms, has shared a new perspective on XRP’s long-term price trajectory. In his latest post, ChartNerd claimed, “XRP is still going to zero,” while presenting a log-scale candlestick chart that covered the period from 2014 to a projected 2028. The chart depicts XRP trading beneath a sharply descending red trendline, with a white arrow signaling an anticipated steep decline.

Details behind the analysisAlthough the chart appears bearish at first glance, careful review reveals that it is intentionally inverted: the price scale is flipped, with low values shown at the top and higher values at the bottom. This reversal alters the visual depiction of resistance and support. Specifically, what looks like a falling resistance line is, in fact, upward-oriented support. The red trendlines actually represent support zones rather than resistance, and the white downward arrow, when interpreted with the flipped scale, may point to increased price levels.

This is not the first time ChartNerd has used a flipped chart in his assessment. He previously referenced a similar approach in July, where an inverted price scale was used to analyze XRP’s patterns. The green arrows on the chart indicate instances in which XRP has tested these hidden support levels, rather than being rejected at resistance points.

ChartNerd’s chart demonstrates that XRP tested a trendline acting as support four times between 2013 and 2017 before a major breakout that saw its price climb from fractions of a cent to over $3 during that cycle.

On ChartNerd’s current chart, the historical trendline shows substantial support, highlighting how previous market cycles unfolded for XRP. The breakout in 2017, following four successful support tests, led to exponential gains over a short period.

Mini dictionary: ChartNerd, known for advanced technical analysis, specializes in graphical interpretations of long-term crypto price trends and is recognized especially among the XRP community for his distinctive use of inverted charts and unconventional technical setups.

Current pattern and future targetsA second trendline, beginning around 2019 and extending toward 2027, has emerged in the current chart. XRP has already tested this support five times, each time holding above the level. As of now, XRP trades near $1.37. The inverted chart’s white arrow projects toward the $7.50 region, suggesting this area as a potential next price target if the pattern persists.

While ChartNerd did not explicitly state a target price in this particular post, previous analyses have included projections as high as $27. The implied upside from current levels suggests a possible increase between 447.45% and 1,870.8%.

CycleSupport TestsBreakout YearPeak Price After Breakout2013–201742017$3.00+2019–2027 (ongoing)52026–2027 (projected)$7.50 – $27 (target range) The current pattern on XRP’s chart mirrors its 2013–2017 cycle, with a larger number of support tests over a longer time frame, raising expectations that a significant breakout could occur between 2026 and 2027.

Outlook for XRPThe repetition of support tests and the lengthier accumulation phase are viewed by ChartNerd as potential signals of a larger, sustained move if and when XRP breaks out of the current pattern. The comparison to the earlier historical setup implies that history could rhyme, with the next phase materializing over the next two years.

As with all technical analysis in volatile markets such as cryptocurrency, these projections carry significant uncertainty. Traders and investors are advised to approach such models with caution and to conduct thorough research before making decisions.

Will Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP Prices Rally if the CLARITY Act Passes on September 15?

Washington is sending mixed signals on the CLARITY Act just over a day before its make-or-break Senate vote, and the disagreement itself is becoming part of the story.

Congressman French Hill argues relying on SEC or CFTC rulemaking instead of a real law is risky:

One Bitcoin-holding executive called CLARITY “a blueprint more countries will soon follow,” pointing to how the EU’s MiCA framework previously pushed countries like Brazil to accelerate their own crypto legislation. A failed CLARITY Act would remove that benchmark for other nations currently modeling frameworks on the US approach.

He pointed to a bullish divergence already forming on Bitcoin’s chart, alongside a bearish divergence in stablecoin dominance, as signs the market has simply been consolidating after its last major move rather than turning bearish.

Tony pushed back on bearish predictions tied to the four-year cycle theory, which call for Bitcoin to drop toward $30,000-$40,000 in October. He said the current charts don’t support that outcome, calling it a low-probability scenario despite it being technically possible. The analyst also flagged a separate crypto tax hearing scheduled in the House for Wednesday, September 16, saying progress there would add to an already eventful week for the industry.

Until the actual vote happens, both the pessimistic and optimistic accounts remain speculation rather than fact, and Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP’s regulatory clarity hinges entirely on whether Washington can convert months of negotiation into 60 votes on the day itself.

XRP Ledger hits new single-ledger transaction record with 2,768 transactions
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
The XRP Ledger Foundation’s director of community, Hussein Zangana (known as Vet), has drawn attention to a new record set on the XRP Ledger’s network. Vet reported on X that the ledger processed 2,768 transactions within a single ledger, marking a milestone for network performance.

Network performance highlightedVet emphasized that the XRP Ledger network handled the surge effortlessly, highlighting its fast transaction speeds and low fees compared to other public blockchains. These features, Vet stated, make the XRP Ledger attractive for organizations seeking scalable solutions for institutional use.

Recent activity included multiple ledgers processing over 2,000 transactions each at close intervals. Vet described the transaction frequency as “impressive,” noting that the network maintained consensus and closed each ledger in just 3.8 seconds.

“Too slow, there is a new XRP single-ledger transaction high score: 2,768 transactions in one ledger, got eaten like NicNac’s,” Vet wrote.

An image shared by Vet demonstrated the system’s ability to handle this increased load effectively, with stable consensus and rapid ledger closures.

Breakdown of recent transaction patternsThe majority of these transactions were identified as 1-drop transactions, circulating among 20 accounts using a ring structure. Vet explained that these transactions appear to be part of “layers of probing” involving automated bots interacting with the network simultaneously.

He addressed node operators directly, advising them to consider increasing the message size limits of their websocket transaction subscription connections. This suggestion came after reports of 1008 policy errors when nodes attempt to pull high volumes of data.

Vet suggested, “You might need to increase the message size limits of your websocket tx subscription connection if you get 1008 policy errors pulling from your node.”

Vet also commented that understanding the motivations behind these probing transactions could be of interest to those monitoring network activity.

Future innovations for identity and protocol enhancementsIn a separate post, Vet predicted growing demand for Zero Knowledge Identity solutions on the XRP Ledger. He pointed to upcoming amendments such as Credentials (XLS-70) and decentralized identity (XLS-40) as key developments. Vet noted that confidential identity is likely to be a significant feature beyond the traditional utility of moving money and value across the blockchain.

Mini dictionary: XLS-70 and XLS-40, proposed amendments for the XRP Ledger, introduce credential management and decentralized identity functionalities. XLS-70 provides a framework for verifiable credentials, while XLS-40 enables identity verification on-chain in a privacy-preserving manner.

A confidential identity proposal is now being discussed as a potential upcoming addition to the ledger’s functionality, with implications for privacy-focused blockchain innovation.

Protocol hardening and new amendmentIn another significant development, the fixCleanup3_3_0 amendment recently went live on the XRP Ledger. This protocol upgrade focuses on improving core features such as Single Asset Vaults, the Lending Protocol, Automated Market Makers, the permissioned decentralized exchange (DEX), Checks, and pseudo-accounts.

Mini dictionary: Single Asset Vaults, AMMs, and permissioned DEX are XRP Ledger features for asset storage, automated trading, and regulated exchange capabilities designed to enhance the security, flexibility, and regulatory compliance of on-chain financial activities.

The collection of fixes introduced with fixCleanup3_3_0 is intended to strengthen the network’s resilience and operational efficiency across various key systems.

XRP to $2 Roadmap: Analyzing the Tightening Triangle That May Fuel a 20% Price Squeeze

The XRP market has seen a sharp narrowing of its price range, a development that traditionally precedes a major move in the asset. According to technical analysis shared by Ali Martinez on X, a classic descending triangle has formed on the token's hourly chart.

The price has been squeezed into a narrow $1.34–$1.36 range and has moved close to the apex of the pattern. The coin has almost no room left to maneuver, meaning a breakout from the consolidation is expected in the coming days.

HOT Stories

XRP consolidation within a tightening descending triangle pattern on the 1H chart. Source: Ali MartinezAs part of the longer-term "XRP to $2" roadmap, this technical setup opens up a clear route for a local breakout. If buyers hold their positions, the nearest target will be $1.60, representing a potential 20% gain from current levels.

What is happening on the XRP chart and beyondThe near-term fate of this move depends on three specific levels on the chart. The first is the $1.31–$1.35 support zone, where limit-buy demand is still holding the line. However, a drop below $1.31 would completely invalidate the bullish scenario.

The second level is local resistance at $1.38. An hourly candle close above it would confirm the initial breakout of the descending trendline that has been in place since late August.

The final barrier is the psychological $1.40 level. XRP holding above this mark would definitively confirm a breakout from the triangle and open a direct path toward the $1.60 target, with the possibility of testing the August high of $1.66.

This technical consolidation coincides with an important regulatory event. A procedural vote on the CLARITY Act is scheduled for September 15 in the U.S. Senate. The bill is intended to define the legal status of digital assets and place XRP in the category of digital commodities under CFTC oversight.

Traders on Polymarket and Kalshi estimate the probability of the initiative succeeding by the end of the year at only 16%–24%. A failed vote or another delay would bring wait-and-see sentiment back among funds, potentially triggering a decline in XRP toward the $1 level.

Meanwhile, overall crypto market liquidity remains constrained by the U.S. Producer Price Index (PPI), which stands at 5.4%, prompting investors to also price in a cautious Federal Reserve decision at its September 16 meeting. The direction of the breakout from the current triangle will determine XRP's short-term trend for the entire second half of September.

XRP Price Prediction: Bulls vs. Bears Ahead Of FOMC Week
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
XRP is trading near $1.35, down 1.9% today though still up 4.7% over the past week. The token is testing a level that mattered heading into the weekend, last week’s key support zone around $1.355, and slipping below it now, though not decisively enough yet to call the setup broken.

According to a crypto analyst tracking XRP’s structure, the token has held below its short and medium-term average price levels since Friday, a shift that technically points toward $1.25 as the next logical target if weakness continues. Taken purely on structure, that’s a mildly bearish signal.

But the analyst was careful not to overstate it. Wider support still sits between $1.29 and $1.32, and selling pressure behind the pullback doesn’t look particularly aggressive.

XRP’s strength relative to Bitcoin has pulled back over the past week too, but remains range-bound rather than trending downward, a pattern mirrored in XRP’s own price action.

Why This Week’s Fed Meeting Complicates the PictureThe Fed’s policy meeting lands Wednesday, and markets are now pricing an 87% probability of a rate hike, up sharply from just 59% a week earlier. Historically, entering this kind of week with some bearish pressure already priced in tends to produce a less negative reaction than entering it euphoric and bullish, since overly bullish setups heading into major Fed meetings have historically seen worse outcomes both immediately after the announcement and in the days that follow.

Order flow data adds a mixed layer too. Funding rates have dropped sharply as new short positions pile in, though they haven’t turned negative yet.  The analyst said XRP appears to be trending toward negative funding while price sits at $1.34, a combination that historically can set up a bounce rather than confirm further downside.

Bullish CounterpointNot everyone reads the setup as bearish. Analyst Ali Charts is watching for a very different outcome, arguing that as long as XRP holds the $1.31 to $1.35 support zone, the token could be building toward a breakout. The important level to watch, according to Ali Charts, is $1.38. A decisive close above that resistance could confirm a bullish breakout and open the door toward $1.60.

ConclusionXRP’s structure leans mildly bearish heading into this week, but neither order flow nor fundamentals currently support a break below the $1.29-$1.32 support zone. A bounce from current levels remains the more likely near-term scenario, according to the structural read, while a clean break above $1.38 would flip the setup toward $1.60 instead.

With an 87% probability of a rate hike now priced in and Wednesday’s Fed decision looming, XRP’s next real move may depend more on how markets react to that outcome than on the charts alone.

XRP Price Wavers Amid Steady ETF Inflows Ahead of CLARITY Act Vote
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) has traded within a narrow range over the past three weeks as the recent crypto market rally stalls. The token was trading at $1.3480 on Sunday, down 20% from its August high. This week could prove pivotal, with the Senate set to vote on the CLARITY Act and ETF inflows continuing to climb.

XRP price has remained in a tight range, mirroring the performance of other top cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) and Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH), which have stalled.

The ongoing consolidation happened even as American investors continued buying its ETFs. Data shows that spot XRP ETFs have had over $32 million in inflows this month, bringing the cumulative inflows to $1.7 billion. These funds, led by the Bitwise XRP ETF, have over $1.45 billion in assets.

The next important catalyst for the token will be the upcoming CLARITY Act vote, which will happen on September 15. This will be a cloture vote to proceed with the vote and will require 60 Senators.

Read Next

The CLARITY Act would benefit XRP and the broader crypto industry by creating a set of rules that companies and developers will need to follow. For example, it will move most of the regulatory roles from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Trending

For XRP, the bill will have an impact on Ripple Labs’ stablecoin, which has done well in the past few months. CoinMarketCap data shows that the Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin has a market capitalization to over $2.42 billion, with $1.05 billion being in the XRP Ledger.

The risk, however, is that many traders on Polymarket believe that the CLARITY Act will not become law. Odds of the bill being passed by President Donald Trump stand at just 27%. That is because there is no consensus on ethics provisions that will prevent politicians like President Donald Trump from issuing tokens. There are also differences on vertical integration in the crypto industry.

XRP Price Has Formed Bullish PatternsTechnicals suggest that XRP price may be on the cusp of a strong bullish breakout in the near term. It formed a golden cross pattern as the 50-day and 200-day Weighted Moving Averages (WMA) crossed each other on September 2nd.

XRP is in the process of forming a bullish pennant pattern, which is made up of a vertical line and a symmetrical triangle. Therefore, the token will likely have a bullish breakout, potentially to the August high of $1.6965, which is about 26% above the current level.

Time Traveler urges XRP wallets before key Senate CLARITY Act vote
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
Crypto commentator Time Traveler has urged investors to secure an XRP wallet, describing the current moment as a rare opportunity and set a deadline of less than 72 hours. His message surfaced on September 12, immediately drawing attention ahead of the crucial September 15 Senate cloture vote on the CLARITY Act.

Countdown to the Senate VoteTime Traveler’s warning references a narrow window before lawmakers vote on the CLARITY Act, a bill designed to create a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital assets in the United States. The act specifies which digital assets fall under the oversight of the Securities and Exchange Commission and which would be regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

All 53 Senate Republicans have made clear their intention to support the bill, assuring a unified front. However, supporters of the legislation are still seeking at least seven additional votes from Democratic senators to reach the required 60-vote threshold for cloture, which is mandatory for the bill to advance.

Senator Cynthia Lummis has emphasized that Democrats contributed significantly to the shaping of the bill, with more than 115 legislative elements reportedly negotiated into the final text. Lummis expects these contributions to influence Democratic support at the ballot.

“If you don’t have an XRP wallet, you truly have missed the greatest opportunity that has ever come in your lifetime. There is time, but less than 72 hours.”

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has also weighed in, urging swift Senate action on the CLARITY Act. Bessent expressed concern that further delay may send a message to global markets that the United States is not prepared to lead on digital asset regulation.

The XRP community has shown a mixed response to Time Traveler’s remarks. Some users voiced support for his enthusiasm, affirming they already hold XRP and are maintaining their positions. Others, however, expressed skepticism toward the prediction, stating doubts about the relevance of attaching specific dates or times to outcomes in the volatile digital asset sector.

Discussions intensified as the September 15 vote approached, with some in the community playfully calling the date “Christmas.” Others argued for caution, urging the need to avoid setting firm deadlines in a space marked by uncertainty and fast-changing developments.

While the technical discussion focuses on the regulatory structure, the crypto industry is witnessing a wider transformation. Wall Street is advancing into Web3, allowing investors to directly hold tokenized shares of major U.S. companies, gold, and silver in their crypto wallets via platforms such as 1stepSwap. This process of tokenizing real-world assets and sourcing optimal market prices in seconds removes the need for traditional middlemen, reflecting the broader changes affecting both digital and traditional markets.

Implications for XRP and the Wider MarketTime Traveler has consistently expressed highly optimistic expectations for XRP, having previously forecasted price targets in the hundreds and even thousands of dollars. His recent posts follow the same pattern, linking the outcome of the CLARITY Act vote to a potential turning point for both XRP and the broader U.S. regulatory climate.

Senator Lummis has noted that if the vote does not succeed on September 15, the next substantive legislative attempt might not materialize until as late as 2030, raising the stakes surrounding the current bill. This context underpins the urgency in Time Traveler’s message, as he and others in the community treat the upcoming vote as a defining event for digital assets in the country.

As investors and observers prepare for the Senate vote, market participants are closely monitoring updates and reactions across both traditional and digital asset markets.

The CLARITY Act creates a regulatory framework for digital assets, identifying which tokens fall under SEC and CFTC oversight. All 53 Senate Republicans are expected to support the bill, but at least seven Democratic votes are needed to reach the threshold required to advance.

XRP Takes Back Seat As Ripple RLUSD Eyes $13 Trillion Market Amid CLARITY Act Vote
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
XRP is taking a back seat from the spotlight in favor of RLUSD as Ripple’s stablecoin aims to capture a large market of corporate treasuries. While commenting on the latest progress being made in the XRP Ledger and the upcoming CLARITY Act vote, Thinking Crypto host Tony Edward pointed to massive opportunity for the crypto market.

Tony Edward Sparks XRP vs. RLUSD Debate In a YouTube video, Edward stated that Ripple’s Stablecoin Chief Jack Mcdonald believes that there is $13 trillion in the corporate treasury that will be available to RLUSD. He added that payments and capital markets were fuelling the growth of stablecoin.

“Jack is eyeing a customer base that handles roughly $13 trillion in transactions annually,” Edward said.

The comments follow as Ripple keeps growing RLUSD around the world. Edward highlighted the payments firms and banks in which the company is involved. He also highlighted Ripple’s acquisition of GTreasury.

The expansion may enhance the institutional payments and capital markets role for RLUSD. Edward also connected the continued development of the XRP Ledger to the growth of the Ripple-backed stablecoin.

PREPARE! CLARITY ACT UPDATES ARE HAPPENING NOW TO PASS THE BILL! BIG RIPPLE XRP RLUSD NEWS!

— Tony Edward (Thinking Crypto Podcast) (@thinkingcrypto) September 13, 2026

“Clearpool Finance proposes migrating to the XRP Ledger,” Edward said. The transfer would be based on the new lending standards of XRPL institutional credit products.

He also stated that Ripple has committed to investing in XRP and RLUSD yield products. However, Edward is still bullish on XRP. Moreover, he stated that he is still buying the dip across many cryptocurrencies.

CLARITY Act Takes Center Stage Ahead of September 15 Vote The focus on Ripple’s RLUSD has come as the industry prepares for a key week of U.S. legislation. The Senate will vote on the CLARITY Act on Sept. 15.

Edward pointed out that the talks were underway and growing in the lead up to the vote. White House crypto director Patrick Whitt took to X to say that “Bad day to be a CLARITY Act doomer.”

Billionaire investor Mike Novogratz also weighed in. “Clarity isn’t dead,” he wrote. They are still talking over the weekend, he added.

The ethics issue is a major concern,” Edward said. The White House has the opportunity to write a new ethics agreement ahead of the vote, he opined.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong is also bullish on the outlook. Edward also spotlighted that Armstrong recently called the CLARITY Act as “right at the finish line.”

The bill may lay the groundwork for a wider regulation of the United States crypto sector. Edward added that its passage also may improve market sentiment.

He said that the approval could lead to a big rally on Bitcoin. “You’re gonna see a God candle print on the Bitcoin chart,” Edward predicted. He also mentioned that altcoins may be in the future.

Meanwhile, the potential market of $13 trillion for Ripple’s RLUSD shows the interest of the institutions in tokenized finance. Nonetheless, the confidence in XRP is also growing despite the regulatory woes as the XRP Ledger expansion continues.

Analyst maps 306% potential XRP/ETH upside, ETF access expands in US
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
Crypto analyst Dark Defender has identified a long-term technical pattern suggesting that XRP could outperform Ethereum by a wide margin if the current formation unfolds towards its projected target. The analysis is based on the XRP/ETH trading pair and indicates a possible fifth-wave rally to 0.002238 ETH per XRP, which implies a gain of roughly 306% from current levels.

XRP/ETH ratio highlights bullish scenarioCurrently, the XRP/ETH ratio stands near 0.000551, according to independent market data. This ratio serves as a measure of how XRP performs relative to Ether within the cryptocurrency market. Dark Defender’s Elliott Wave analysis classifies the present setup as a fourth-wave correction, with a potential move towards the 0.002238 zone forming the fifth wave.

Data from Investing.com showed the XRP/ETH ratio at 0.000539 on September 11, down from 0.000570 three days earlier. Intermediate key levels at 0.0006487 and 0.0007773 have been marked as significant Fibonacci resistance points that must be reclaimed before a larger rally could materialize.

The analyst stated that XRP’s relative strength could improve not only if XRP rises while Ether stays flat, but also if both assets climb at different rates, or if both decline yet ETH falls further. The central theme is that the XRP/ETH ratio measures relative price performance, not absolute price movements in dollar terms.

XRP could see a relative gain of about 306% versus Ethereum if the ratio climbs from 0.000551 to the 0.002238 target, but this setup is focused on comparative performance rather than a fourfold increase in the dollar price of XRP.

The technical pattern does not signify that XRP will surpass Ethereum in total market capitalization. It solely tracks the potential for one asset to outperform the other considering a specific price ratio.

Market capitalization gap remains wideRecent market figures list XRP trading at approximately $1.37, giving it a market cap near $86 billion based on a circulating supply of around 62.87 billion tokens. Ethereum currently trades at $2,458 with an estimated market capitalization of $300 billion. Bitcoin continues to dominate with a value near $1.55 trillion and a price close to $77,230.

AssetLatest PriceMarket CapCirculating SupplyBitcoin$77,230$1.55 trillion20.1 millionEthereum$2,458$300 billion122.1 millionXRP$1.37$86 billion62.87 billionFor XRP to overtake Ethereum in market value, it would require a 3.5 times increase in capitalization, assuming Ethereum’s metrics remain unchanged. Outperforming Bitcoin would necessitate an 18-fold increase in XRP’s value.

Market capitalization is calculated as price multiplied by circulating supply. This metric does not directly show how much investor money has flowed into an asset, meaning that a $1 billion boost in value does not always correspond to $1 billion in new investments.

Broader access through US-listed XRP ETFsRegulated institutional access to XRP has grown in the United States following new ETF approvals. The Bitwise XRP ETF and the Canary XRP ETF, both registered with the SEC, allow investors to gain exposure to the token through mainstream financial channels. Bitwise is a US-based digital asset management firm, while Canary is a financial company that provides innovative ETF solutions.

Mini dictionary: ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund), a type of investment fund traded on stock exchanges, offering exposure to a basket of assets or a specific asset, such as a cryptocurrency, while providing regulated and accessible market entry for investors.

These technical developments coincided with broader risk aversion in financial markets, including $15.52 billion in outflows from equity funds amid climbing oil prices and expectations of tighter monetary policy.

The analyst emphasized that the area between 0.0006487 and 0.0007773 is the immediate range to watch, while the move to 0.002238 remains a forecasted scenario rather than an established trend.

Wealth Managers Show Crypto Interest Despite a 67% Allocation Gap
BTC Bitcoin ETH Ethereum XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
TLDR: Wealth managers show a wide gap between current crypto allocation and future intent, with 67% unallocated and 60% planning exposure. The same 60% share expects crypto prices to finish 2026 higher, giving the informal poll a constructive market view despite limited exposure. XRP generated the most questions during the Bitwise presentation, while Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Hyperliquid, stablecoins, and tokenization drew attention. Bitwise and VettaFi survey data shows 32% of advisors allocated to crypto in 2025, while 42% could buy it for client accounts. An informal Bitwise poll shows 67% of roughly 400 wealth managers have no crypto allocation in client portfolios. The same audience signals possible future demand. Sixty percent plan to add exposure within 12 months, while another 60% expect crypto prices to finish 2026 higher. No allocation size was disclosed publicly. The responses capture interest and intent, but they do not represent a randomized survey of the wider industry.

Participants attended a Bitwise presentation, which may attract professionals already tracking digital assets closely. The poll therefore shows the distance between discussion and implementation within firms today. It also captures how wealth managers now view Bitcoin, altcoins, stablecoins, tokenization, and related investment products globally.

Wealth Managers Show Stronger Crypto Interest Than Allocations Bitwise Head of Research Ryan Rasmussen shared the poll after appearing with Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan. The session covered Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Hyperliquid, stablecoins, tokenization, and the changing regulatory setting. XRP generated the most questions from attendees, Rasmussen said.

Source: LinkedIn The response puts XRP alongside the larger assets that typically anchor institutional discussions. Bitcoin offers the market’s primary reference asset, while Ethereum and Solana represent blockchain network exposure. Stablecoins and tokenization move the discussion toward payments, settlement, and digital forms of traditional assets.

Sixty percent of wealth managers said they planned to add a crypto allocation within a year. The same share expected prices to finish 2026 above current levels. Those answers connect planned portfolio exposure with a constructive market view. Neither response specifies an asset, vehicle, or allocation size.

The poll also does not show how many participants had started internal approval processes. A manager may support crypto exposure while a firm limits purchases to exchange-traded products. Another firm may require investment committee review, approved custodians, or additional client disclosures before execution.

The difference between interest and completed purchases is visible in the survey’s design. It records what attendees said during one presentation. It does not measure account balances, new deposits, or purchases completed after the event.

Why Wealth Managers Still Delay Their First Crypto Allocation Broader Bitwise and VettaFi research shows adoption moving upward over time. Their 2026 benchmark survey found that 32% of financial advisors allocated crypto to client accounts in 2025. That figure rose from 22% in 2024. The survey also found that 42% could buy crypto for clients, compared with 35% in 2024 and 19% in 2023.

The Bitwise/VettaFi 2026 Benchmark Survey tracks financial advisor attitudes, preferred investment vehicles, and market themes. It gives the event poll a wider reference point, while the two samples measure different groups and use different methods.

The latest audience results therefore sit between broader access and limited implementation. More firms now provide a route to client exposure. That route can still involve custody, compliance, valuation, liquidity, tax, and reporting reviews. Wealth managers must also explain volatility and suitability before placing a digital asset in a client account.

The session topics show that professional questions extend beyond Bitcoin. Attendees asked about XRP, while the presentation also addressed Ethereum, Solana, Hyperliquid, stablecoins, and tokenization. The range indicates that conversations now include networks, settlement tools, and asset-backed digital instruments.

Existing crypto portfolios also show a larger share of allocations above 2%, although no percentage is provided. It does not identify the account types involved. That missing detail prevents a direct comparison with the 67% who reported no current exposure.

For wealth managers, operational rules can determine when interest becomes an allocation. Firms may require approved platforms, independent custody, transaction records, risk disclosures, and suitability reviews. The Bitwise poll records planned activity, while those controls determine whether any client capital actually moves.

XRP Price Prediction After Trump Met Advisers Ahead of CLARITY Act Vote: What’s Next?
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
XRP price hovered near $1.35 on Sunday before major Washington events.

Bitcoin price traded around $77,000, Ethereum near $2,490, and Solana close to $100.

President Donald Trump met with advisers on Friday about government ethics language that is under consideration for a major cryptocurrency bill the Senate is set to vote on next week.

The meeting’s outcome remains undisclosed. The Senate faces a procedural vote Tuesday, followed by the Federal Reserve’s interest-rate decision Wednesday.

BREAKING: 🇺🇸 President Trump reportedly met with advisers to discuss the CLARITY Act ahead of Tuesday’s crucial Senate vote.

LET’S GET IT DONE! pic.twitter.com/wdJE256ak9

— Crypto Rover (@cryptorover) September 13, 2026

CLARITY Act Faces a September 15 Test Senator Cynthia Lummis released a revised, 630-page draft Thursday. She said the text incorporates more than 114 provisions requested by Democratic colleagues. The count refers to changes, not commitments to vote.

The draft sets rules for trading protocols that retain centralized control despite describing themselves as decentralized. Such operators could face CFTC registration and requirements under the Bank Secrecy Act.

Senate Republicans dropped a revised Clarity Act draft ahead of the Sept. 15 cloture vote. Here’s what changed:

• Non-decentralized DeFi protocols must now register with the CFTC, with CFTC and Treasury jointly writing the rules
• DeFi provisions narrowed to spot trading only… pic.twitter.com/iYfeTEp9DV

— Lark Davis (@LarkDavis) September 13, 2026

The proposed DeFi provisions cover spot digital commodity transactions, leaving prediction markets outside that section. It also clarifies when credit unions may provide digital asset services.

The CFTC would write tailored rules after consulting the SEC and Treasury. Lawmakers continue debating ethics safeguards and the treatment of stablecoin rewards. Friday’s meeting left the ethics outcome unknown.

The Senate schedule lists cloture on the motion to proceed for September 15 at 2:15 p.m. ET. Cloture requires 60 votes, while Republicans currently hold 53 Senate seats. Republicans need seven additional votes if united. A successful vote would begin debate; it would not make the measure law.

Fed Decision Adds Another Market Catalyst The Federal Open Market Committee meets September 15 and 16, with its rate decision scheduled Wednesday at 2 p.m. ET. Futures markets recently placed the chance of a quarter-point increase near 90%. August consumer prices rose 3.4% from a year earlier, reinforcing inflation concerns.

Fed watch data A rate increase could weigh on speculative assets if Treasury yields and the dollar rise. Traders may examine the Fed’s projections and Chair Kevin Warsh’s remarks for guidance beyond September.

A less restrictive message could ease pressure, although neither outcome would settle the Senate dispute. XRP price faces two separate catalysts within roughly 24 hours, creating room for sharp moves in either direction.

XRP Price Prediction for This Week XRP’s relative strength index stood near 45 in a September 13 technical reading, indicating subdued momentum. Its MACD remained negative, suggesting recent weakness had not reversed. Both indicators can change quickly around major announcements.

XRP/USDT 4-hour chart: TradingView The first resistance zone sits around $1.35 to $1.37, near recent moving averages. A sustained break could put $1.40 and then $1.45 in focus this week. Below $1.33, attention would shift toward $1.30 if weakness deepens.

For now, holding $1.33 would preserve the near-term range. Stronger volume above $1.40 would provide clearer evidence of improving momentum. A failed Senate vote or an unexpectedly firm Fed message could instead increase pressure.

XRP to Outperform Bitcoin and Ethereum? Analyst Maps 306% Wave 5 Rally
ETH Ethereum XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
TLDR: Dark Defender’s XRP/ETH chart targets 0.002238, implying about 306% relative upside from 0.000551. XRP’s $86B market cap remains far below Ethereum’s $300B and Bitcoin’s roughly $1.55T valuation. The XRP/ETH ratio must first reclaim the 0.0006487 to 0.0007773 zone before the Wave 5 case strengthens. Bitwise and Canary XRP ETFs expand regulated U.S. access as the token’s relative-value setup develops. XRP could significantly outperform Ethereum if a long-term technical structure identified by crypto analyst Dark Defender reaches its projected fifth-wave target. In a September 13 post, Dark Defender said XRP could eventually dominate Bitcoin and Ethereum.

However, the underlying chart specifically measures XRP’s performance against Ether. The 10-day XRP/ETH chart places the ratio near 0.00055 and labels the current formation as an Elliott Wave fourth-wave correction.

Source: X

The projected fifth wave extends toward 0.002238 ETH per XRP. That move would represent about 306% appreciation from roughly 0.000551. Therefore, the chart describes relative performance rather than forecasting a fourfold increase in XRP’s dollar price.

XRP/ETH Ratio Defines the 306% Outperformance Case Independent market data broadly supports the chart’s starting point. Investing.com recorded the XRP/ETH ratio at 0.000539 on September 11. The ratio had declined from 0.000570 on September 8, leaving it below several levels highlighted in Dark Defender’s technical structure.

His chart identifies intermediate Fibonacci levels near 0.0006487 and 0.0007773 before the larger 0.002238 extension. Those levels provide measurable reference points for the relative-price setup. Importantly, the ratio can rise under several different market conditions.

XRP could appreciate while Ether remains unchanged, or both assets could rise at different rates. It could also increase if both decline but Ethereum falls faster. Consequently, a higher ratio measures relative strength rather than absolute price appreciation.

The 0.002238 target is about 4.06 times the chart’s 0.000551 level. That calculation produces the approximately 306% relative gain underlying Dark Defender’s forecast. However, the technical projection does not establish that XRP will exceed either rival by total market capitalization.

Market-Cap Gap Shows Why a Flip Is a Separate Question Recent market data placed XRP around $1.37, with approximately $86 billion in market capitalization and 62.87 billion tokens circulating. Meanwhile, Ethereum traded near $2,458 with a market value around $300 billion.

Bitcoin, on the other hand, remained substantially larger at approximately $1.55 trillion while trading near $77,230. Based on those figures, XRP’s market capitalization would need to reach roughly 3.5 times its current level to surpass Ethereum, assuming Ethereum remained unchanged.

Nonetheless, overtaking Bitcoin would require an increase to roughly 18 times its current valuation under the same assumption. Those comparisons also explain why relative-price performance and market-cap rankings should be treated separately.

Market capitalization equals an asset’s price multiplied by circulating supply. It does not directly represent the amount of investor capital deposited into an asset. Therefore, a $1 billion valuation increase does not require $1 billion of inflows.

Meanwhile, institutional access has expanded through U.S.-listed products. SEC filings show that the Bitwise XRP ETF and Canary XRP ETF hold the token to provide regulated exposure.

The technical call also arrives during weaker global risk conditions. Investors recently withdrew $15.52 billion from equity funds amid rising oil prices and tighter-policy expectations.

For the relative-performance case, the immediate measurable area remains 0.0006487 to 0.0007773. The projected 0.002238 level represents the analyst’s fifth-wave extension, not a confirmed market outcome.

BankXRP predicts Bitcoin will surge but $XRP will outperform with parabolic gains
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
Prominent crypto commentator BankXRP has sparked fresh debate on social media by stating that while Bitcoin is poised for another rally, XRP could significantly surpass it in performance, describing the potential move as “parabolic.”

BankXRP’s Outlook On Bitcoin And XRPBankXRP, recognized for his influential presence in the digital asset community, directly addressed his followers with a succinct prediction: “Bitcoin will pump. But $XRP will go parabolic.” This view underscores confidence in XRP’s ability to deliver outsized returns in the next market cycle, beyond just tracking Bitcoin’s gains.

By making this distinction, BankXRP is suggesting that XRP may outpace Bitcoin in price appreciation, with “parabolic” indicating the potential for rapid and dramatic growth.

“Bitcoin will pump. But $XRP will go parabolic. Remember that.”

BankXRP’s post quickly gained traction, prompting a wide range of reactions from the crypto community. Some respondents theorized that a drop in Bitcoin’s dominance could act as a catalyst for XRP’s next surge, referencing historical patterns where XRP rallies followed shifts in market leadership.

Others introduced alternative perspectives. One commenter speculated about intentional market suppression to address the US national debt, while another voiced skepticism, suggesting XRP could move “parabolic” in the opposite direction. There were also users who questioned the frequency and reliability of bullish XRP predictions, noting that calls for exponential gains emerge regularly but often do not come to fruition.

Broader Sentiment Around XRPThe notion that XRP could overtake Bitcoin has found support among other industry figures as well. Crypto commentator John Squire recently encouraged holders not to sell their XRP, suggesting the digital asset was entering a pivotal growth phase. Squire highlighted the impact of Ripple’s resolution of its legal dispute with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a turning point for XRP’s future prospects.

David Schwartz, former CTO of Ripple, has also addressed XRP’s outlook. During a public discussion on the X platform, Schwartz stated his belief that XRP is more likely than not to experience a surge outpacing Bitcoin. He attributed this potential to the XRP Ledger’s technical strengths, including speed and functionality, which may present advantages as the digital asset sector continues to expand.

Mini dictionary: XRP Ledger, the decentralized public blockchain supporting the XRP cryptocurrency, is designed for fast, low-cost transfers, which supports enterprise and institutional adoption.

Schwartz expects major cryptocurrencies to see growth, but believes XRP’s functional advantages could enable it to outperform Bitcoin as the market matures.

Shifting Confidence In XRP’s PotentialThe renewed optimism around XRP reflects a convergence of factors: the removal of legal uncertainties, Ripple’s ongoing expansion efforts, and increasing institutional engagement. Schwartz, who was instrumental in developing the XRP Ledger, has publicly maintained that XRP could surpass Bitcoin on its own merits, aligning with the perspective advanced by BankXRP.

As discussion intensifies among market participants, the distinction between Bitcoin’s established market dominance and XRP’s perceived potential continues to shape narratives ahead of the next market cycle.

Ripple & XRP News Roundup: Institutional Collateral, UK Expansion And More
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
Ripple’s footprint across institutional finance kept expanding this week, from XRP being adopted as collateral for institutional credit lines to a new seat at the table with the City of London’s tokenization initiative. Here’s everything worth knowing from the past seven days.

XRP Emerges as Institutional Collateral

XRP is increasingly being used as collateral for institutional credit lines, a development enabled by the XLS-65/66 lending protocol now live on the XRP Ledger. Ripple Prime already accepts XRP as eligible collateral alongside Bitcoin, RLUSD, fiat currency, gold and treasuries.

Adding to that momentum, a September 8 SEC filing from Charles Schwab revealed that XRP ETFs are now being used as repo collateral, with usage reportedly growing quickly, a signal of deepening institutional trust barely a year after Ripple’s SEC litigation concluded.

Ripple Joins UK’s Tokenization Push

The City of London has allegedly named Ripple among 54 firms partnering with the UK’s Wholesale Digital Markets Champion over the next 12 months to help scale tokenization adoption and establish clearer regulatory, legal and tax frameworks. The relationship isn’t new. Ripple completed a proof-of-concept with the Bank of England back in 2017 and has spent years providing input on digital asset regulation in the region. The company also secured an EMI license and FCA approval in 2026, allowing it to operate across the UK.

A New Face at RippleX

Ripple has hired Brian Beck, previously of Google and PayPal, to lead developer relations and ecosystem growth at RippleX. His role centers on helping developers turn the XRP Ledger into products that businesses and consumers actually use day to day.

Evernorth’s Nasdaq Debut Brings a Massive XRP Stake

Evernorth is expected to hold at least 473 million XRP once it lists on Nasdaq, making it the first publicly traded company built entirely around a mission of increasing XRP’s value.

A 2018 Brussels Meeting Resurfaces

A photo circulating this week shows former Ripple executive Dan Morgan seated alongside senior European Parliament and European Commission policymakers, along with DTCC’s global policy lead, at a 2018 meeting in Brussels discussing the future of finance, a reminder that Ripple’s presence in European regulatory circles goes back years.

Heavy Trading Activity on Binance

XRP recorded its largest single-day combined inflow and outflow on Binance in six months on September 11, with $91.2 million moving in and $113.9 million moving out, while exchange reserves barely shifted. Experts described the activity as supply being reshuffled rather than any clear directional move, with funding rates cooling and liquidations occurring on both sides of the market.

Where Price Stands

XRP is trading near $1.36 after sweeping liquidity around the $1.34 level, a pattern some analysts say mirrors August’s setup, when XRP swept liquidity near $1.00 shortly before rallying to $1.62.

XRP analysts target $2 move after clearing $1.42 and $1.56 resistance
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
XRP may be approaching two key resistance levels that technical analysts say could signal the start of a significant rally toward the $2 mark if successfully surpassed and held as support.

Analysts highlight $1.42 and $1.56 as critical resistance zonesCrypto commentator XRP Update recently brought attention to an analysis by Bird_XRPL, an active chart watcher focusing on XRP price action. Both analysts identified the $1.42 and $1.56 price levels as crucial barriers. According to their view, a clear move above these levels and confirmation as new support could accelerate bullish momentum toward $2.

XRP Update described the scenario as “two breakouts,” emphasizing that the process is not just about temporary spikes above resistance, but rather transforming both thresholds into sustained support zones.

Turn both resistance levels into support, and the run toward $2.00 could accelerate very quickly.

The analysts noted that repeated failure to convert these resistance levels into support might keep XRP trading within its current range, highlighting the importance of each breakout’s follow-through.

Mini dictionary: Bird_XRPL, known for technical analysis on social media, is an individual trader and analyst specializing in XRP price action and market structure. Their insights have found wide traction among the XRP community.

Market outlook and key technical opinionsIn discussions with other analysts, Bird_XRPL provided further context regarding possible price actions if resistance fails to break. When asked by ChartNerd about XRP’s prospects should the barriers hold, Bird suggested that the asset could consolidate or form a wedge pattern while remaining in its existing price range.

Despite the uncertainty about immediate direction, Bird remained optimistic, citing strong liquidity above key levels and pointing out that leading cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum have already broken out of comparable phases. Bird expressed confidence that XRP could soon follow if broader market momentum continues.

XRP could “bounce and chop around here for a while,” but with favorable liquidity and macro trends, the price is likely to move higher if resistance zones are absorbed.

The analyst also identified concentrated sell orders, or “sell walls,” around the resistance zones. Passing through these sell walls with sufficient buying volume remains a challenge the cryptocurrency must address to maintain bullish momentum.

Broader price targets and XRP market reactionsOther commentators in the discussion, such as Sarah_615h, referenced nearby levels like $1.36 as short-term support and highlighted $1.45 as a potential trigger for further gains above $1.80. Similarly, a commentator known as RIPPLE KING emphasized an initial target range between $1.42 and $1.43, with a subsequent focus on the area from $1.55 to $1.60. Both noted that clearing these levels with significant trading activity could add credibility to a $2 price objective.

Despite optimism, analysts cautioned that these targets are contingent on the ability of XRP to hold above former resistance once breakouts occur, rather than only achieving short-term spikes. There is no current confirmation that either $1.42 or $1.56 has been firmly surpassed or established as support.

As XRP hovers near these technical thresholds, the market remains attentive to how it interacts with each level, which could decide the direction of the next major price movement.

Price LevelRolePotential Outcome if Broken$1.42First resistanceInitiates potential bullish move$1.56Second resistanceStrengthens bullish case toward $2$2.00TargetMajor psychological barrierWhile bullish sentiment lingers, both analysts and market participants continue to watch XRP’s next moves closely to determine whether a sustained breakout above identified resistance can trigger further gains.

XRP ETFs Smash Another All-Time High as Inflow Streak Hits 9 Weeks
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
The spot XRP ETFs' inflows just tapped $1.7 billion.

For the ninth consecutive week, the exchange-traded funds tracking the popular cross-border token were in the green, attracting nearly $19 million, similar to the previous week.

The cumulative total net inflows hit another all-time high, but the underlying asset continues to struggle with its breakout attempts as its mid-August rally came to a halt.

Another ATH During the last full week of August, the spot XRP ETFs marked their best performance since early December 2025, attracting $110.49 million. This followed another impressive week, in which the net inflows neared $40 million.

The inflows slowed down at the start of September but remained well in the green. Although there was still a single day in the red for the first time in a month, the funds gained $18.96 million during the week that ended on September 4. The next one, which was just four business days long, saw similar inflows of $18.98 million.

The numbers on Tuesday were quite modest, with just $1.55 million. However, Wednesday brought $12.29 million, followed by another $5.14 million on Thursday. Interestingly, Friday was a no-action day, according to data from SoSoValue, with net flows of $0.00. This was rather unexpected given the massive market turbulence that day, but more on that later.

Ultimately, the XRP ETFs reached another all-time high of $1.7 billion. Bitwise’s XRP fund, which recently surpassed $500 million in assets, has extended its cumulative net inflow lead – $608 million compared with $490 million for Canary Capital’s XRPC.

Spot XRP ETF Inflows. Source: SoSoValue XRP Still Struggles The underlying asset exploded during the market breakout between August 19 and 22, skyrocketing by 70% in less than 72 hours. It jumped from $1.00 to $1.70, where it was rejected and driven south hard, despite the positive ETF flows.

On Friday, it went through a wild two-hour ride after the release of the CPI numbers. It went from $1.36 to $1.32 before it soared to almost $1.45. However, it was stopped once again, and now struggles below $1.40.

Crypto analysts are now split on its short-term potential. Ali Martinez, for instance, warned that whales have started to secure profits, while the network activity has dumped hard, which could lead to another leg down. In contrast, Celal Kucuker outlined a pattern that previously led to a 600% surge and suggested that it could run it back.

After its spectacular August comeback, XRP has reached a technically delicate point, and the price is currently right around one of the daily chart's strongest support areas. Bulls have little fundamental momentum to work with, as XRP Ledger activity has drastically declined.

Moving averages converge rapidlyRight now, XRP is trading at about $1.35, which is almost precisely where its long-term moving average is located, at about $1.355. A concentrated support zone between $1.33 and $1.36 is effectively created by another shorter-term average that is near $1.34. This area needs to be held.

XRP/USDT Chart by TradingViewWith a brief surge toward $1.70, XRP's August breakout propelled the asset from roughly $1.00 to above $1.50. But since then, the market has consistently failed to return to the $1.45–$1.50 range, instead forming lower local highs. Additionally, momentum is becoming more and more neutral. The daily RSI has dropped to about 51.7, which is lower than its signal average of about 58.2.

HOT Stories

Because XRP is neither oversold nor exhibiting strong bullish momentum, sellers have the opportunity to drive the asset lower in the event that support fails. Network activity adds another concern. Successful transactions decreased by 59.5% to approximately 970,200, while total XRP Ledger transactions fell by 55.6% to 1.2 million.

Transacitons count decreasesTransactions per ledger fell by 56.1%, while payments dropped by 35.6% to 573,100. Indicators pertaining to users convey a similar message. Active accounts fell by 5.4% to 13,900, while active users fell by a much greater 42.3% to 126,200. A total of 2,200 new accounts were created, which was essentially unchanged.

You Might Also Like

The network itself is still running smoothly: the ledger interval stayed at about 3.84 seconds, and about 20,600 ledgers were closed, up 1.2%. As a result, activity rather than network performance appears to be the main area of weakness. The crucial defensive range for XRP is currently $1.33–$1.35.

A persistent break below it would reveal about $1.28, with the main moving-average cluster around $1.25–$1.28 coming next. A move through $1.45 is necessary for XRP to regain a distinctly bullish short-term structure, but holding support and recovering $1.40 would reduce the immediate downside risk.

Ripple details RLUSD backing with NYDFS charter, cash reserves, BNY Mellon custody
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
Ripple has released a comprehensive breakdown of the regulatory, legal, and custodial framework backing RLUSD, its upcoming US dollar stablecoin. The company outlined the specific structures put in place to ensure transparency, oversight, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Ripple defines “regulated” for RLUSDRipple clarified that not all forms of regulation for stablecoins are equal, pointing out that issuers may comply with either a money transmitter license, a state trust charter, or federal prudential supervision. These options come with varying requirements for reserves, independent verification, and failure management.

Company representatives explained that RLUSD is structured under a limited-purpose trust charter, features segregated reserves, and is subject to independent CPA reviews on a monthly basis. Ripple said these arrangements reflect a stricter interpretation of what “regulated” means in the context of stablecoins.

The company also referenced a conditional approval from federal authorities, adding a second layer of supervision to the arrangement. This step is designed to bolster confidence among institutional partners and regulators.

Ripple’s approach aims to distinguish RLUSD from other stablecoins by emphasizing concrete legal and supervisory mechanisms instead of broad regulatory claims.

Analyst highlights reserves, NYDFS charter, and BNY Mellon’s roleCrypto market observer Xaif Crypto reviewed Ripple’s disclosures and focused on the practical aspects of RLUSD’s reserves. He noted that RLUSD is anchored by a New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) trust charter, a regulatory framework known for rigorous standards.

Xaif Crypto specified that RLUSD’s reserves are held in a combination of cash and short-term US Treasury bills. This composition is intended to minimize risk and preserve stability for the holders of the token.

A key element is the involvement of Bank of New York Mellon, one of the world’s largest custodian banks, which is responsible for holding RLUSD’s reserves. By entrusting BNY Mellon with this task, Ripple claims to separate the assets backing RLUSD from its own operating funds.

Xaif Crypto also mentioned Ripple’s conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) for the establishment of a national trust bank, adding another dimension to Ripple’s regulatory roadmap.

Mini dictionary: NYDFS (New York Department of Financial Services) issues charters and oversees banking, insurance, and financial services in the State of New York, playing a significant role in regulating digital assets and trust companies.

Regulatory structure and compliance remain centralRipple maintains that robust oversight is at the core of RLUSD’s design. The company repeatedly stressed the value of segregated reserves, transparent attestation, and clear custodial relationships to create a reliable and compliant stablecoin offering.

Analysts and company statements continue to focus on the significance of combining state and federal supervision, institutional-grade custody, and regular audits to support the coin’s credibility. This multi-layered approach is a key message both in Ripple’s communications and in commentary from crypto market participants.

XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced a significant net inflow of $18.98 million this week, according to social media source @WhaleInsider. This marks a continuation of recent positive sessions for the ETFs, which are U.S.-listed and track XRP’s price. The inflow suggests sustained interest from investors, with the month-to-date inflow for September already surpassing $14.86 million as of September 8. This trend follows a robust August, where XRP ETFs recorded over $150 million in inflows, one of the strongest performances for the asset this year. The underlying XRP market has been around $1.36 to $1.37, and ETF flows are seen as a key indicator of institutional demand for XRP.

XRP trades at $1.35 as network activity falls and key support is tested
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
XRP’s price has reached a crucial technical juncture following its recent rally, stalling at one of the daily chart’s strongest support zones. After a dynamic August surge, the cryptocurrency now faces a period of diminished momentum, compounded by a significant drop in activity on the XRP Ledger.

Price hovers at support zoneCurrently, XRP is trading just above $1.35, aligning closely with its long-term moving average near $1.355. This region is further reinforced by a shorter-term moving average close to $1.34, creating a tightly concentrated support zone between $1.33 and $1.36. Market observers view this area as critical for maintaining the overall bullish structure.

Earlier in August, XRP experienced a rapid ascent from around $1.00 to more than $1.50, even briefly reaching $1.70. However, the asset has struggled to return to the $1.45 to $1.50 range in recent sessions, instead posting lower local highs that signal waning upward momentum.

At present, the daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) has dropped to 51.7, falling below its signal average of 58.2. This reading suggests a shift toward more neutral conditions rather than the clear bullishness previously seen.

Declining network activity raises concernsRecent data reveals that XRP Ledger activity has declined sharply. Successful transactions fell by 59.5% to about 970,200, while overall transactions on the ledger decreased by 55.6% to 1.2 million. Transactions per ledger also dropped by 56.1%, and payments declined by 35.6% to 573,100.

In terms of user metrics, active accounts slid by 5.4% to 13,900, while active users saw a more dramatic drop of 42.3% to 126,200. New account creation remained stable at 2,200.

Indicators tracking user engagement highlight a broad reduction in activity, with both transactions and active accounts showing sizable declines. While the technical infrastructure of the XRP Ledger remains stable, the decrease in on-chain activity points to weaker underlying momentum.

Despite the substantial drop in usage, the XRP Ledger continues to operate efficiently. The average ledger interval held steady at roughly 3.84 seconds, and a total of 20,600 ledgers were closed, representing a modest 1.2% increase over the previous period.

Key levels and broader industry shiftMarket watchers emphasize the importance of the current support band between $1.33 and $1.35. Should XRP break below this level for an extended period, the price may shift toward $1.28, with a significant cluster of moving averages situated in the $1.25 to $1.28 region. Alternatively, a decisive move above $1.45 is needed for the asset to reestablish a clear short-term bullish bias, though stabilizing above $1.40 would help reduce near-term downside risks.

As technical indicators and on-chain data continue to play a vital role in market analysis, some investors are turning to new methods for holding and trading assets. While traditional markets have depended on complex brokerage services, a notable transformation is underway as Wall Street increasingly transitions toward Web3 solutions. Platforms such as 1stepSwap now allow investors to hold tokenized shares of leading U.S. companies, as well as gold and silver, directly within their cryptocurrency wallets. By using real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and enabling automatic price discovery across markets, these platforms eliminate intermediaries and provide greater direct access to traditional financial assets.

In summary, XRP remains at a critical juncture as traders monitor whether the currency can hold its current support amid falling network activity and shifting market sentiment.

XRP Faces Pressure at $1.37 While ETF Launch Moves to October
XRP Ripple

Key Highlights XRP currently trades in the $1.35–$1.37 range, unable to break the crucial $1.40 resistance Roundhill’s XRP Covered Call ETF launch postponed until October 11, 2026 Teucrium’s 2x Short Daily XRP ETF also delayed to October 11 XRP ETF products manage $1.45 billion in total assets with no net inflows recorded on September 11 Network transactions on XRP Ledger plummeted more than 55%, signaling declining user engagement As of mid-September, XRP remains confined to a narrow trading corridor between $1.35 and $1.37, struggling to overcome the stubborn $1.40 ceiling that has repeatedly rejected upward attempts. The digital asset continues to oscillate within a defined range, with $1.30 acting as a floor and $1.40 serving as the upper boundary, leaving traders without a decisive directional move.

XRP Price Technical indicators paint a mixed picture. The Relative Strength Index on the daily timeframe registers approximately 51.7, trailing its signal average of 58.2. Meanwhile, on the four-hour chart, the MACD line recently crossed above its signal counterpart, though both indicators remain in negative territory. This configuration suggests that selling momentum hasn’t completely dissipated.

During August, XRP mounted an impressive rally, surging from the $1.00 level to beyond $1.50, momentarily touching $1.70. However, since reaching those peaks, the cryptocurrency has repeatedly failed to recapture the $1.45–$1.50 territory and has been establishing progressively lower peaks in recent sessions.

Regulatory Approval Timeline Extends to Fall Roundhill Investments has extended the launch timeline for its XRP Covered Call ETF until October 11, 2026. This investment vehicle aims to blend direct XRP exposure with a covered call options framework designed to produce regular income, targeting investors seeking yield generation over speculative price appreciation.

Cryptocurrency market observer Xaif Crypto weighed in on this postponement, highlighting that Roundhill’s revised timeline coincides with the Teucrium 2x Short Daily XRP ETF’s target date. “Wall Street isn’t just buying XRP anymore, they’re building whole strategies around it,” the analyst wrote.

📄 SEC filing alert:

Listed Funds Trust just delayed the effectiveness of the Teucrium 2x Short Daily XRP ETF to October 11, 2026.

A 2x SHORT XRP ETF is literally in the pipeline. Institutions aren't just betting up on XRP they're building tools to bet against it too.

— 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸XRP (@BankXRP) September 12, 2026

Listed Funds Trust similarly postponed its Teucrium 2x Short Daily XRP ETF to the same October 11 date. This leveraged product takes an inverse position, aiming to deliver profits when XRP experiences daily price declines — representing a contrarian approach compared to Roundhill’s yield-focused strategy.

These postponements shouldn’t be interpreted as regulatory denials. Both financial products remain under review, advancing through standard compliance procedures, with market participants anticipating final documentation before the October target window.

XRP Ledger Usage Experiences Significant Decline Data from SoSoValue indicates that XRP exchange-traded funds saw no net capital inflows on September 11. The five currently listed XRP ETF products collectively hold $1.45 billion in assets under management, representing 1.70% of XRP’s total market capitalization. Bitwise maintains the dominant position with $499.49 million in managed assets.

Activity metrics across the XRP Ledger reveal a concerning contraction. Overall transaction volume decreased 55.6% to 1.2 million operations, while confirmed successful transactions fell 59.5% to approximately 970,200. The count of distinct active addresses declined 42.3% to 126,200 participants.

Despite these usage declines, the underlying blockchain infrastructure continues functioning without technical issues, maintaining ledger closing times around 3.84 seconds. The weakness appears concentrated in participant engagement rather than network capabilities or performance.

Critical price support for XRP lies within the $1.33 to $1.36 corridor. A sustained breakdown below this zone would likely expose the $1.28 level, followed by the $1.25–$1.28 moving average convergence area. Conversely, a successful recapture of $1.45 would indicate a short-term momentum shift favoring buyers.

Crypto researcher urges $XRP holders to double-check destination tags in transfers
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
XRP holders have received an urgent warning from crypto researcher Michelle Kirby X regarding the importance of destination tags when transferring their tokens. Kirby X cautioned through social media that overlooking this key transaction detail could result in loss of assets or complicated recovery processes.

Potential Risks in XRP TransfersIn a recent post, Kirby X emphasized that many holders preparing to move XRP may be unaware of the crucial role the destination tag plays in transfers. She highlighted that sending XRP to certain centralized exchanges or custodial services typically requires attaching a destination tag to the transaction.

Unlike simply inputting a wallet address, the destination tag acts as an additional identifier. Without it, exchanges may not be able to match deposited funds to the correct customer account, potentially resulting in delays or permanent loss of assets.

Kirby X compared the destination tag to an apartment number on a street address, providing clarity to the ultimate recipient of the funds. She pointed out that this is a requirement for several platforms and failing to include a correct or matching destination tag can lead to significant problems in retrieving misplaced funds.

If XRP holders overlook the necessity of adding the destination tag, they may encounter challenges when accessing their funds or require lengthy intervention from the receiving service’s support team. Kirby X stated that this step is essential knowledge for anyone transferring XRP through exchanges or custodial services.

Several questions from users relate to locating the correct tag, determining if a tag is necessary for a specific transaction, or understanding consequences when incorrect information is provided. According to Kirby X, missing or entering the wrong tag often leads to problems that are difficult and time-consuming to resolve.

Resources and Caution for XRP HoldersKirby X mentioned that she regularly receives questions about this topic, prompting her to create a dedicated module about XRP destination tags for her video training series, Cold Wallet Confidence. In the course, she explains how to transfer XRP securely to a cold wallet and addresses the practical steps involved in including the destination tag.

She reported that interest in the course has grown, with over 1,000 people joining the waitlist ahead of the course’s launch. Kirby X noted that those on the list would receive early access to the training and a special price unavailable to the public.

By tying XRP security to broader trends in self-custody, she underscored that users need not feel intimidated by destination tags. Her main concern is that many holders receive little guidance about this step, even as questions about cold storage and transaction safety increase.

While traditional markets rely on complex brokers, a massive shift is happening as Wall Street moves to Web3. Investors are now using platforms like 1stepSwap to hold shares of major U.S. companies, gold, and silver directly in their crypto wallets. By tokenizing real-world assets and automatically finding the best prices within seconds, these platforms eliminate the need for intermediaries and highlight the growing emphasis on user control over assets, making careful management of transfer details such as destination tags even more critical.

Kirby X reiterated that while the concept of destination tags can seem confusing at first, the process is straightforward when users follow the receiving platform’s transaction instructions. She strongly encouraged holders to check whether a tag is needed before processing any outgoing transaction.

Rushing to transfer XRP without verifying technical details, especially the destination tag, can result in costly mistakes. Kirby X advises all holders to remain vigilant, conduct thorough research, and not let emotions dictate their actions during transfers.

Her remarks arrive as more digital asset holders consider moving cryptocurrency off exchanges and into self-custody solutions. For those considering significant transfers, she stressed the value of clear and accurate transaction preparation.

Kirby X closed her statements by reminding users that the destination tag is not inherently complex, but rather a detail that deserves attention to ensure safe and successful transfers of XRP.

Ripple Treasury deepens AI integration, 60% of customers use new risk tool
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
X Finance Bull, a prominent cryptocurrency commentator, described recent advancements at Ripple Treasury as “highly bullish” for both Ripple and $XRP. The assessment centers on Ripple’s expanding use of artificial intelligence within its institutional treasury operations.

Ripple Treasury enhances architecture with AIX Finance Bull responded to Crypto Enthusiast RealGrapedrop, who published an updated architecture map illustrating the interplay between Ripple Treasury, GSmart AI, conventional banking infrastructure, and broader digital asset services. The commentator emphasized that this development transcends the mere adoption of AI tools, highlighting the depth of their integration into institutional finance workflows.

X Finance Bull argued that Ripple’s system demonstrates how artificial intelligence can function within the established rules of treasury teams while maintaining direct human oversight. According to their remarks, this approach balances the efficiency of AI with the compliance and risk standards critical to professional finance.

X Finance Bull underscored that the real significance is “how deep Ripple Treasury is getting into real institutional finance, with AI working inside the rules treasury teams already use.”

The commentator also expressed appreciation to RealGrapedrop for mapping out these developments, noting that further details will be provided soon.

GSmart AI employs governed agents for complianceRealGrapedrop stated that the initial version of the architecture map, published in April, positioned GSmart AI at the top of Ripple Treasury’s system. The latest revision reflects Ripple’s September 10 announcement on the expanded role of GSmart, prompting adjustments to the design.

In this updated model, Knowledge Studio, Governed Agents, and Analytics Studio sit alongside five core treasury functions: Forecasting, Liquidity, Risk, Reconciliation, and Reporting. The most significant update involves the operational model of AI agents. Rather than acting autonomously, these agents monitor workflows, propose actions, cite relevant policies, and solicit human approval prior to execution, ensuring that treasury teams retain the final say in decision-making.

Ripple Treasury executive Renaat Ver Eecke characterized this methodology as “Treasury native AI,” meaning that AI systems operate entirely within the parameters established by professional treasury standards.

Mini dictionary: Governed Agents, a type of AI solution designed for enterprise use, function within predefined compliance and approval frameworks, ensuring their actions are subject to oversight and company policy.

Addition of new tools and higher adoption ratesThe revised architecture now features Knowledge Studio, which lets treasury professionals set operational policies for the agents, and Analytics Studio with Ask GSmart, providing a natural language interface to company data. RealGrapedrop noted that adoption is already underway, citing data that 60% of eligible customers have enabled Risk Insights and 44% use Forecast Insights.

ToolAdoption RateRisk Insights60%Forecast Insights44%The updated map now also includes Reconciliation functions powered by Solvexia, an automation platform that Ripple acquired in January.

Mini dictionary: Solvexia is a financial process automation company specializing in reconciliation and compliance tools for enterprise clients. Its recent acquisition by Ripple allows the expansion of automation features within Ripple’s treasury operations.

Other additions to the architecture include SettleMint DALP, part of Ripple Custody’s solution portfolio, as well as enhancements to RLUSD and new features for Ripple Prime. These updates position Ripple Treasury to bridge digital asset infrastructure and established banking rails, incorporating elements such as ACH, wires, SWIFT, and modern custody solutions.

RealGrapedrop stated that the central innovation is the integration of traditional treasury controls with new AI-driven and digital asset tools, increasing operational flexibility for institutional clients.

Ripple, a San Francisco-based blockchain technology company, has focused on enterprise solutions for cross-border payments, digital asset management, and institutional finance. The ongoing development of its AI-enhanced treasury products is seen as a strategic move to support wider adoption among large financial organizations.

Former RippleX Executive Says XRP Has a  “Killer Use Case”
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
RippleX Head of Product Jazzi Cooper made a bold declaration this week. Using XRP as collateral for institutional credit, she said, represents a genuine “killer use case” for the token.

Responding directly on X, Cooper confirmed the framing. She noted it is fully enabled by the XLS-65 and XLS-66 lending protocol, now live on the XRP Ledger.

Yes – XRP as collateral for institutional credit is a killer use case (and supported by xls65/66 lending protocol!)

— Jazzi Cooper (@jazzicoop) September 11, 2026
What the Lending Protocol Actually UnlocksThe declaration marks a shift beyond XRP’s traditional role in cross-border payments. Market makers and institutional traders can post XRP as collateral to secure credit lines without liquidating their positions.

The protocol introduces native fixed-term, fixed-rate lending through Single Asset Vaults. That structure, in turn, lets institutions treat XRP as productive working capital. Institutions still retain full control over underwriting and compliance decisions off-chain.

Commentator Bill Morgan expanded on the significance. He noted the use case was not even possible before the SEC lawsuit against Ripple concluded. It only became viable, in other words, once the lending protocol launched on XRPL.

Morgan pointed to Ripple Prime, which already accepts XRP as eligible collateral alongside Bitcoin, RLUSD, fiat, gold, and treasuries.

A September 8 SEC filing from Charles Schwab adds further evidence of institutional uptake. The filing shows XRP ETFs are increasingly used as repo collateral, with usage growing rapidly.

Infrastructure and Momentum Continue Building — Will XRP Price React?Development keeps advancing on schedule. XRPL validators confirmed that Lending Protocol v1.1 will ship with XRPL version 3.4.0 next week, bringing fixes and improvements to Single Asset Vaults. The official amendment tracker currently lists the update as in development.

Institutional partners are already positioning around the infrastructure. Clearpool has originated more than $930 million in institutional loans, while Cicada Partners has underwritten over $860 million, giving the ecosystem a combined track record of nearly $1.8 billion ready for deployment on XRPL.

RLUSD’s market cap, near $2.42 billion, adds a complementary layer of liquidity to that setup. As these native credit rails mature, XRP is transitioning from a pure bridge asset into a core institutional collateral instrument, precisely the utility Cooper described.

At the time of writing, XRP trades near $1.37. Technical analyst Crypto Patel argues bulls face one clear task: reclaiming the $1.55 resistance level to avoid a deeper retracement.

$XRP Bulls Have One Job: Reclaim $1.55 Or Risk A Deep Retracement #XRP is sitting at a critical HTF inflection point. The multi-year downtrend has already broken, but price is now consolidating below the key $1.55 resistance.

Bullish confirmation: Weekly close above $1.55 →… pic.twitter.com/p53MUYzi3S

— Crypto Patel (@CryptoPatel) September 11, 2026
A weekly close above that level would open a path toward $2 and eventually the $3.66 all-time high, according to Patel’s analysis. Failure to break higher could send the price back toward the $0.70-$0.95 demand zone.

Hussein Zangana (Vet), director of community at the XRP Ledger Foundation, highlights a new record for the XRPL.

In a recent X post, Vet noted a new XRP single-ledger transaction high score for the XRP Ledger: 2,768 transactions in one ledger. "Too slow, there is a new XRP single-ledger transaction high score: 2,768 transactions in one ledger, got eaten like NicNac's," Vet wrote.

— Vet (@Vet_X0) September 13, 2026 Vet pointedly highlights the XRP Ledger network's fast and cheap transactions relative to other public blockchains, a feature that makes it particularly attractive for institutional use at scale.

The new XRP single-ledger transaction high score coincides with multiple 2,000 transactions per ledger in intervals, which Vet described as "impressive." Recent hours have seen the most frequent single-ledger transaction spikes, with over 2,000 transactions.

RippleX explores XRP as institutional collateral with XLS-65 and XLS-66
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
XRP may soon serve a more prominent role in institutional lending if upcoming credit models on the XRP Ledger adopt the token as collateral for stablecoin-backed loans.

RippleX Sees XRP Collateral as a Key Use CaseJazzi Cooper, Head of Product at RippleX, identified “XRP as collateral for institutional credit” as a major potential application. Cooper made the remarks in an exchange on the X platform, emphasizing that the XRP Ledger’s developing XLS-65 and XLS-66 lending architecture could enable this use case.

The discussion followed inquiries about whether market makers and institutional traders could tap into credit lines using XRP as backing.

However, Cooper clarified that current institutional borrowing of this kind has not yet begun through XLS-65 and XLS-66 on mainnet. Both proposals remain under development and are still advancing through the XRP Ledger’s governance and technical review processes.

Cooper has highlighted that there is “growing interest in a dual pool model, with an XRP pool for collateral and a separate pool for RLUSD as the loan asset.”

Under such a structure, institutions could pledge XRP as collateral and borrow dollar-denominated liquidity—such as RLUSD—without liquidating their XRP holdings.

This mirrors concepts from traditional finance, where an organization is able to access liquidity by pledging assets held on its balance sheet.

The proposal aligns with Ripple’s broader strategy to position XRP as institutional collateral. Ripple, a San Francisco-based technology company specializing in enterprise blockchain solutions, aims to bring the digital asset closer to use cases in margin, settlement, and secured financing for institutional players.

Additionally, the discussion adds a unique XRP-oriented dimension to third-party credit markets, such as those being developed by Clearpool and Cicada, which focus on RLUSD lending and the XRP Ledger’s native credit features.

Mini dictionary: RLUSD, a proposed US dollar-pegged stablecoin intended to facilitate lending and liquidity on the XRP Ledger, is designed for institutional credit markets and infrastructure on XRPL.

XRPL Lending Protocol Faces Developmental HurdlesThe formal XRPL Lending Protocol currently focuses on fixed-term, uncollateralized loans funded via Single Asset Vaults. In its present form, the protocol performs borrower risk checks and credit assessments off-chain, while all loan origination and servicing are recorded on the XRP Ledger.

Automated collateral management and onchain liquidation features—common in decentralized lending protocols like Aave—are not yet available within the current XRPL lending framework.

To enable a credit product backed by XRP, further structuring would be required around XLS-65 vaults, potentially involving loan brokers and institution-specific risk management, as opposed to simply deploying pre-built liquidation mechanisms.

The next upgrades for XRPL’s lending functions, collectively referred to as LendingProtocolV1_1, include a shift toward closed-ended vaults and updates to accounting practices, but have yet to receive final validator approval for mainnet activation.

Until validators approve the underlying XLS-65 and XLS-66 amendments, the governance process will remain a central challenge to rolling out these lending products on XRPL.

Cooper’s recent comments serve as a signal that XRP’s future could include a productive institutional role, transforming it from merely a speculative holding or payment asset into collateral that supports real-world borrowing needs.

Ripple partners with SettleMint to streamline bank asset tokenization
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
Ripple is seeking to simplify the transition of banks and financial institutions to blockchain technology by integrating its services with SettleMint, a platform specializing in digital asset lifecycle management. The initiative aims to provide banks with a unified solution for custody, issuance, compliance, settlement, and servicing, addressing the challenge of managing multiple technology vendors.

Integrated banking infrastructureRipple’s partnership with SettleMint, launched earlier this month and already active in Asia, allows institutions to operate all key asset management functions within a single technology stack. This integration removes the need for banks to coordinate various providers for custody, compliance, issuance, and settlement, offering a more streamlined procurement model.

Under the collaboration, Ripple Custody delivers institutional-grade asset security and governance, while SettleMint’s Digital Asset Lifecycle Platform manages the full lifecycle of tokenized assets across issuance, transfer, and servicing.

Mini dictionary: SettleMint is a technology company providing a platform that helps organizations deploy blockchain-based applications, focusing on digital asset lifecycle management for financial institutions.

Boston Consulting Group estimates that the total value of digital real-world assets may reach $88 trillion by 2035, potentially accounting for 16% of global investable assets in an optimistic scenario. According to BCG, banks could see up to 15% of their revenue and 30% of profits at risk if value continues shifting toward digital-asset competitors.

MetricEstimateReference YearDigital real-world assets market size$88 trillion2035% of global investable assets16%2035 (aggressive scenario)Banks’ revenue at risk15%2035Banks’ profits at risk30%2035 As tokenization shifts toward mainstream banking, Ripple is focusing on delivering complete infrastructure covering custody, issuance, compliance, and settlement in anticipation of a massive $88 trillion opportunity.

Implications for institutions and XRP investorsRipple’s strategy is to expand beyond offering a single cryptocurrency product by building out a full institutional infrastructure. The company has also developed capital markets capabilities, investing in platforms such as ZILO and Licuido to support transfer agency, collateral management, and issuance services.

Importantly, current details regarding SettleMint’s partnership confirm that participating banks are not required to use XRP, the XRP Ledger (XRPL), or RLUSD. No specific client, blockchain network, transaction figures, or tokenized assets have been publicly identified.

Ripple continues to differentiate between its broader institutional offerings and direct demand for XRP. While the partnership strengthens Ripple’s position in institutional finance by providing banks with options for custody, payments, stablecoin infrastructure, and tokenization, it does not guarantee an immediate increase in XRP usage.

Ripple’s integration with SettleMint expands its presence in banking while remaining separate from direct XRP adoption. The next major development will be if a named financial institution begins using the combined system in actual operations, including public disclosure of settlement assets and transaction volumes.

The focus now shifts to seeing a leading financial institution publicly implement the entire Ripple-SettleMint stack and share details on the underlying blockchain and asset flows.

XRP Price Nears Breakout as XRPL Lending Plans Gain Traction
XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News
Original source text
TLDR: XRP price trades near $1.34 while analyst Ali Martinez identifies $1.31-$1.35 support, $1.38 confirmation, and a $1.60 breakout target. RippleX Head of Product Jazzi Cooper calls XRP collateral for institutional credit a killer use case linked to the proposed XRPL lending stack. XLS-65 and XLS-66 still await validator approval, while the current design records uncollateralized loans and keeps underwriting off-chain. Evernorth plans to use XLS-66, but historical Clearpool and Cicada figures do not represent $1.8 billion in loans already originated on XRPL. XRP price trades near $1.34 as an institutional-credit narrative meets an unresolved technical setup. RippleX Head of Product Jazzi Cooper calls XRP collateral for institutional credit a “killer use case.” Her comment links the asset to lending and collateral workflows beyond cross-border payments.

However, XLS-65 and XLS-66 have not been activated on the XRP Ledger mainnet. Both amendments still require validator approval before institutions can use their native functions.

Market attention now splits between that pending infrastructure and a short-term price test. XRP sits inside $1.31-$1.35 support, while $1.38 marks the analyst’s breakout confirmation. A successful break would place $1.60 in focus.

XRP Price Gains a Broader Institutional Credit Narrative Cooper made the statement while responding to discussion about institutions accessing credit without selling XRP. Her view presents XRP collateral as potential working capital rather than dormant treasury inventory.

Ripple’s lending design supports that broader goal, although its present mechanics require careful distinction. XLS-65 defines Single Asset Vaults that pool one asset and issue ownership shares. XLS-66 defines fixed-term loans, interest, repayment schedules, fees, and defaults at the protocol layer.

The current XRPL lending design does not automate collateral or liquidations onchain. Official documentation describes its loans as uncollateralized, with underwriting and risk management handled off-chain. Institutions can structure separate collateral agreements, but XLS-66 does not itself lock XRP against a loan.

Both base amendments are available in XRPL software but are not active on mainnet. They must secure a validator supermajority for at least two consecutive weeks. LendingProtocolV1_1 is also in development, adding closed-ended vaults and cash-basis accounting.

This means XRP price has no verified mainnet lending-volume catalyst from these features today.

Evernorth has publicly stated its intent to use XLS-66 as a core treasury tool. Its SEC-filed communication describes the plan as conditional and warns that approval, operation, and projected yields are not guaranteed.

Clearpool also labels its XRPL product “coming soon.” Its website reports about $965 million in loans originated across seven existing networks. Those records demonstrate experience, not $1.8 billion of live XRPL loans.

RLUSD supplies another possible lending asset, with market capitalization near $2.42 billion. Clearpool’s planned XRPL product specifically advertises real-world yield using RLUSD and native credit primitives. That plan does not establish current XRP collateral demand.

Social posts also compare the opportunity with trillions of dollars in securities lending. S&P Global reports August average balances of $4.2 trillion, above the older $3.1 trillion figure. Neither measure represents capital committed to XRP or XRPL lending.

Mainnet lending data cannot link these unactivated features to XRP price performance. XRP collateral adoption would require published eligibility rules, haircuts, custody terms, and default procedures from participating institutions. Mainnet also has no funded lending vaults or completed loans under XLS-66 today.

Technical Setup Keeps $1.38 and $1.60 Levels in Focus XRP price now tests the $1.31-$1.35 support zone identified by Ali Martinez. Trading near $1.34 places XRP inside that band, leaving the short-term structure without breakout confirmation.

XRP BREAKOUT INCOMING!?

As long as $XRP holds the $1.31–$1.35 support zone, I’m watching for price to push toward the triangle’s apex.

The key confirmation comes at $1.38.

A decisive break above that resistance could trigger the bullish breakout and open the door to $1.60. https://t.co/LZseuFLh3C pic.twitter.com/16C0QcpVao

— Ali Charts (@alicharts) September 13, 2026

Martinez identifies $1.38 as the decisive resistance level. A clean move above it could complete the triangle breakout and open a path toward $1.60. Until then, the setup reflects a conditional target rather than a confirmed advance.

A separate weekly analysis places $1.55 as the larger resistance test. Crypto Patel says a weekly close above that level could expose $2, followed by the prior $3.66 high. Failure to reclaim $1.55 could instead return attention to the $0.70-$0.95 demand area.

The institutional-credit narrative does not alter those confirmation levels. XRP price still depends on holding support, breaking resistance, and attracting sustained spot demand. XRPL lending also requires validator approval before usage data can show whether institutions adopt the proposed rails.

Rob Cunningham says Japan’s XRP strategy signals global monetary shift

Wall Street analyst Rob Cunningham has outlined a thesis suggesting that Japan could play a pivotal role in transforming the global monetary, collateral, and settlement landscape. Cunningham’s analysis focuses on Japan’s continued integration of XRP, questioning whether its efforts go beyond simple investment and point to deeper infrastructural preparation for a major financial shift.

Japan’s XRP approach and the yen carry tradeCunningham raised the possibility that Japan has quietly positioned itself to weather a large-scale transition in international financial systems. He wrote, “Did Japan merely invest in XRP, or did Japan quietly build the monetary shock absorbers needed to navigate the greatest collateral, currency, and settlement transition in modern history?”

The analyst linked his thesis to Japan’s long-standing management of the yen carry trade and discussed the likelihood of the country repatriating portions of its vast overseas assets. Cunningham argued that such actions could coincide with increased demand for U.S. Treasuries facilitated by dollar-backed stablecoins issued under the GENIUS Act framework.

He further observed that Japanese financial infrastructure is now closely tied to Ripple through its partnership with SBI Holdings, a major Tokyo-based financial services company involved in both traditional banking and digital assets.

Mini dictionary: Yen carry trade, a financial strategy in which investors borrow Japanese yen at low interest rates to invest in higher-yielding foreign assets, significantly influencing global capital flows.

Cunningham stated that the key question is whether Japan’s use of XRP represents years of structural groundwork for a smoother transition in monetary systems, rather than being a simple investment.

SBI Holdings and Ripple collaborationCunningham drew attention to SBI Holdings’ significant involvement with Ripple, which includes efforts in real-time payments, cross-border remittances, digital asset custody, corporate adoption of XRP in treasury operations, and development on the XRP Ledger (XRPL).

He pointed out that SBI owns 9% of Ripple, emphasizing the difference between merely holding XRP tokens and maintaining a substantial stake in Ripple’s broader enterprise. This ownership, according to Cunningham, exposes Japan’s institutions to several facets of Ripple’s business, including payments, custody, stablecoins, prime brokerage offerings, treasury technology, and intellectual property. He noted Ripple’s latest financing valued the company at approximately $40 billion.

“SBI’s economic exposure is also broader than the market value of XRP alone,” Cunningham highlighted, citing Ripple’s comprehensive suite of enterprise services as part of Japan’s reach.

Mini dictionary: SBI Holdings is a large Japanese financial conglomerate with diversified interests in banking, securities, and digital assets. The company is a close partner of Ripple, facilitating adoption of XRP in Asia.

Cunningham’s transition frameworkCunningham presented a six-step process describing how Japan could unwind the yen carry trade while reinforcing the wider global settlement framework. The first step is a move to revalue gold to current market rates, addressing confidence risks in the system.

The second involves the use of 50-year Treasury Trust Bonds to manage duration risk. Cunningham’s third step calls for Treasury facilities and reduced interest rates to mitigate market risk. He placed stablecoins at the fourth step, noting that these assets could absorb short-dated Treasury issuance. The fifth step centers on XRP, with higher valuations potentially reducing settlement friction. The final step focuses on coordination among system participants.

StepTool/AssetMain Purpose1Gold revaluationAbsorb confidence risk250-year Treasury Trust BondsAddress duration risk3Treasury facilities, lower ratesReduce market risk4StablecoinsManage short-term issuance5XRPReduce settlement friction6Sector coordinationSystem-wide alignmentCunningham believes this structure would allow Japan to simultaneously reposition its global dollar exposure and maximize its digital transaction capabilities over the long term.

In conclusion, Cunningham’s thesis situates SBI Holdings, Ripple, XRP, and the XRP Ledger as pivotal components within a broader global transformation involving Japan, U.S. Treasuries, stablecoins, and digital settlement infrastructure.

Could XRP and Monero Stay in the Spotlight While Apeing Emerges as One of the Best Altcoins to Buy Before Stage 3 Ends?

CoinGecko News
Original source text
Crypto sentiment is shifting quickly, and anyone searching for the best altcoins to buy has more than established names to watch. XRP remains in focus as ETF activity continues to draw attention, while Monero is holding its place as a leading privacy-coin story despite recent volatility. With crypto news today moving fast, the next opportunity may not necessarily be another established token.

That is where Apeing enters the picture. Its presale is LIVE, Stage 3 has already reached 59.66% progress, and the current $0.0004 price is tied to a limited allocation before the next stage moves to $0.0005. For buyers watching the presale closely, the current stage represents a chance to enter before the scheduled price increase changes the equation.

Best Altcoins to Buy: Apeing Turns the Presale Into the Main Event Table of Contents

The Apeing presale is not sitting still. Stage 3, known as Paper Hand Panic, contains 300 million $APEING tokens and more than $80,000 raised. The project has also reached over 270 holders. That creates a straightforward presale dynamic: the allocation is being consumed while the price schedule is moving upward from stage to stage.

Apeing is built on Ethereum as an ERC-20 token with a fixed 16.75 billion supply and a 33-stage presale structure. The stated listing price is $0.01, giving the project a clearly defined progression from early presale pricing toward its planned market debut. Instead of making the story about another established meme coin chasing yesterday’s attention, Apeing puts the spotlight on participation while the presale is still underway.

Best Altcoins to Buy: Why Stage 3 Matters Right Now Stage 3 is priced at $0.0004, while the next stage moves to $0.0005. The difference may look small on paper, but it reinforces the central feature of a staged crypto presale: the entry price changes as each allocation progresses.

Apeing also gives its community multiple ways to participate beyond simply holding $APEING. Its Ape Referral system adds 10% extra tokens for buyers while referrers can receive a 10% reward. That turns community growth into part of the token experience rather than leaving holders on the sidelines.

Then there is Ape Wars, a competition-driven feature designed around the project’s degen culture. Combined with the referral mechanics, it gives Apeing a social layer that feels distinctly different from simply buying a token and waiting for a chart to move.

The tokenomics add another layer. Apeing allocates 40% of its 16.75 billion supply to the presale, while 30% is allocated to staking and 10% to liquidity. The liquidity allocation is stated to be locked for 18 months, while the 1% team allocation is locked for one year before six months of vesting.

A Quick Look at the Apeing Price Path Presale Detail Current Position Stage 3, Paper Hand Panic Current price $0.0004 Next price $0.0005 Total Sold 387.8084M $APEING Progress 59.66% Stated listing price $0.01 At the current $0.0004 Stage 3 price, a $100 investment would buy 250,000 $APEING tokens. If the presale advances to the next stage at $0.0005, those tokens would have a theoretical value of $125, representing a 25% increase based solely on the stated stage-price difference. This highlights the potential benefit of entering during Stage 3, although the scheduled presale increase does not guarantee future returns or market performance.

How to Buy Apeing Presale Getting into the Apeing presale follows a short process.

Connect your wallet: Use a regular Ethereum wallet such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet. Smart/passkey wallets are not supported. Select your payment: Pay with supported crypto or Visa/Mastercard. Card payments still require an Ethereum wallet connection. Enter your amount: Choose how much you want to spend or specify the amount of $APEING you want. Buy: Check the payment, currency and connected wallet, then select Buy Now and confirm. Activate referrals: Purchases of $25 or more activate a personal referral code. Presale $APEING remains permanently linked to the wallet used for the purchase, so wallet credentials should never be shared. This makes it the best altcoin to buy.

XRP Keeps the Institutional Story Moving as ETF Interest Holds XRP remains firmly on the crypto radar as ETF activity continues to shape its market narrative. Current reports place XRP near $1.42, with spot ETF inflows reaching an eighth consecutive week, although the latest weekly inflow was considerably smaller than the previous record.

The broader XRP story also continues to center on payments, institutional infrastructure and activity around the XRP Ledger. Recent coverage has highlighted upcoming protocol improvements alongside continued interest in XRP investment products. For traders searching crypto news today, XRP therefore remains one of the established altcoins commanding attention while newer projects compete for the next wave of community interest.

Monero Holds the Privacy Spotlight Despite Recent Volatility Monero has delivered a very different crypto narrative. XMR surged strongly through August and briefly pushed toward the $500-plus area before a sharp September correction. Current reports put XMR around the $495 to $510 range, with the latest weakness attributed to profit-taking and leveraged positioning rather than a confirmed new protocol event.

The privacy sector itself has been unusually strong, with recent market coverage noting that privacy coins have substantially outperformed many other crypto categories since the prior Bitcoin peak. Monero also continues to see active development, with September community work focused on ongoing technical projects and future protocol improvements. That keeps XMR firmly in the conversation for anyone tracking crypto news today.

Conclusion: XRP brings institutional attention and ETF momentum, while Monero continues to command the privacy-coin conversation. Both demonstrate how established crypto narratives can suddenly accelerate when market attention shifts.

Apeing offers a different setup. Its presale is already LIVE, Stage 3 has a limited 300 million-token allocation, and the current $0.0004 price applies before the next stage moves to $0.0005. With Ape Referral and Ape Wars adding community-driven mechanics, Apeing is turning the presale itself into part of the experience.

The stage is active. The allocation is being consumed. The price schedule is already moving. If you want the current Apeing stage price, the window to this best altcoin to buy now is open.
