WisdomTree očekává meziroční růst EPS o 30,4 %
WT Wisdomtree
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Wall Street expects a year-over-year increase in earnings on higher revenues when WisdomTree, Inc. (WT - Free Report) reports results for the quarter ended September 2026. While this widely-known consensus outlook is important in gauging the company's earnings picture, a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price is how the actual results compare to these estimates.

The earnings report, which is expected to be released on October 30, might help the stock move higher if these key numbers are better than expectations. On the other hand, if they miss, the stock may move lower.

While management's discussion of business conditions on the earnings call will mostly determine the sustainability of the immediate price change and future earnings expectations, it's worth having a handicapping insight into the odds of a positive EPS surprise.

Zacks Consensus EstimateThis company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $0.30 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of +30.4%.

Revenues are expected to be $181.31 million, up 44.3% from the year-ago quarter.

Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 0.77% higher over the last 30 days to the current level. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period.

Investors should keep in mind that the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts may not always get reflected in the aggregate change.

Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise

Earnings WhisperEstimate revisions ahead of a company's earnings release offer clues to the business conditions for the period whose results are coming out. Our proprietary surprise prediction model -- the Zacks Earnings ESP (Expected Surprise Prediction) -- has this insight at its core.

The Zacks Earnings ESP compares the Most Accurate Estimate to the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the quarter; the Most Accurate Estimate is a more recent version of the Zacks Consensus EPS estimate. The idea here is that analysts revising their estimates right before an earnings release have the latest information, which could potentially be more accurate than what they and others contributing to the consensus had predicted earlier.

Thus, a positive or negative Earnings ESP reading theoretically indicates the likely deviation of the actual earnings from the consensus estimate. However, the model's predictive power is significant for positive ESP readings only.

A positive Earnings ESP is a strong predictor of an earnings beat, particularly when combined with a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), 2 (Buy) or 3 (Hold). Our research shows that stocks with this combination produce a positive surprise nearly 70% of the time, and a solid Zacks Rank actually increases the predictive power of Earnings ESP.

Please note that a negative Earnings ESP reading is not indicative of an earnings miss. Our research shows that it is difficult to predict an earnings beat with any degree of confidence for stocks with negative Earnings ESP readings and/or Zacks Rank of 4 (Sell) or 5 (Strong Sell).

How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for WisdomTree, Inc.?For WisdomTree, Inc., the Most Accurate Estimate is higher than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bullish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +0.88%.

On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #3.

So, this combination indicates that WisdomTree, Inc. will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate.

Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue?Analysts often consider to what extent a company has been able to match consensus estimates in the past while calculating their estimates for its future earnings. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number.

For the last reported quarter, it was expected that WisdomTree, Inc. would post earnings of $0.26 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.31, delivering a surprise of +19.23%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates four times.

Bottom LineAn earnings beat or miss may not be the sole basis for a stock moving higher or lower. Many stocks end up losing ground despite an earnings beat due to other factors that disappoint investors. Similarly, unforeseen catalysts help a number of stocks gain despite an earnings miss.

That said, betting on stocks that are expected to beat earnings expectations does increase the odds of success. This is why it's worth checking a company's Earnings ESP and Zacks Rank ahead of its quarterly release. Make sure to utilize our Earnings ESP Filter to uncover the best stocks to buy or sell before they've reported.

WisdomTree, Inc. appears a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.

An Industry Player's Expected ResultsAmong the stocks in the Zacks Financial - Miscellaneous Services industry, Coinbase Global, Inc. (COIN - Free Report) , is soon expected to post loss of $0.18 per share for the quarter ended September 2026. This estimate indicates a year-over-year change of -112.5%. This quarter's revenue is expected to be $1.16 billion, down 38.1% from the year-ago quarter.

The consensus EPS estimate for Coinbase Global has been revised 72.2% lower over the last 30 days to the current level. However, a higher Most Accurate Estimate has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +171.22%.

When combined with a Zacks Rank of #3 (Hold), this Earnings ESP indicates that Coinbase Global will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate. Over the last four quarters, the company surpassed EPS estimates just once.

WisdomTree uvedla ETF WSLS a WTAL na TXSE
WT Wisdomtree
FMP Stock News 92
Original source text
Hedge funds have long kept systematic long/short strategies out of reach for ordinary investors, but WisdomTree just listed two ETFs on the Texas Stock Exchange that aim to change that using AI models from a firm WisdomTree now partly owns.

This post may contain links from our sponsors and affiliates, and Flywheel Publishing may receive compensation for actions taken through them.

On October 8, 2026, WisdomTree announced the launch of the WisdomTree Efficient Long/Short U.S. SmallCap Equity Fund (TXSE:WSLS) and the WisdomTree Global Alpha Fund (TXSE:WTAL). Both funds have an expense ratio of 0.88%.

WisdomTree says the two funds give investors access to systematic long/short strategies “traditionally associated with hedge funds” through an ETF structure. They are WisdomTree’s first launches on the Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE), which already lists ETFs from other issuers.

How a Long/Short Fund Tries to Make Money
A long position makes money when a stock rises. A short position makes money when a stock falls. A fund that holds both can try to earn from the gap between the stocks it expects to do well and the ones it expects to lag.

A long/short strategy can seek returns from relative stock performance, but its sensitivity to the overall market depends on how the long and short exposures are balanced. WSLS also retains broad small-cap market exposure.

WisdomTree has used this approach before. The new funds build on the WisdomTree Efficient Long/Short U.S. Equity Fund (WTLS), which WisdomTree launched in January 2026.

WSLS Stacks a Stock-Picking Layer on Top of Small Caps
WSLS holds broad U.S. small-cap exposure, either through stocks or through derivatives (contracts whose value tracks an underlying asset), and on top of that core it runs a dynamic long/short “overlay,” which is a second strategy layered over the main holdings. WisdomTree’s thinking is that individual small-cap stocks have more widely spread returns, which may give its models more room to add value.

WTAL Aims to Earn Whether Markets Rise or Fall
WisdomTree says WTAL runs two long/short overlays: one in U.S. stocks and one in international stocks. According to WisdomTree, it gets that exposure through derivatives, including swaps (agreements in which two parties trade the returns of different assets), and holds Treasuries and cash as collateral.

WisdomTree says WTAL aims for a market-neutral return stream, meaning its results should come from how its stock picks perform against each other, with market direction playing a much smaller role. A traditional stock fund earns money when markets rise. WTAL is designed to earn from the spread between its winners and losers in any kind of market.

According to Jeremy Schwartz, WisdomTree’s Global Chief Investment Officer, “many investors want returns that don’t simply rise and fall with the broader market, but accessing those returns has often meant adding complexity to a portfolio.”

An Israeli Fintech Partner WisdomTree Partly Owns
Both funds pick investments using machine learning models developed by AlphaBeta. The models are trained on historical data to forecast a security’s return and/or risk. AlphaBeta is an Israeli fintech firm that specializes in quantitative and AI-driven strategies, and WisdomTree announced a strategic minority investment in the company in November 2025.

Leverage, Models and a Fee Hurdle
WisdomTree’s own disclosures list the risks. Both funds use derivatives, which create leverage, and the value of an investment may change quickly and without warning. Both are actively managed but rely heavily on quantitative models that may not perform as intended. WTAL also carries the added risks of investing in foreign stocks.

At WisdomTree’s stated 0.88% a year, each fund has to earn back its fee before an investor gets any benefit. That fee is far higher than many plain index funds charge, so the models have to produce enough extra return to cover the difference.

What to Look For Going Forward
Putting hedge fund-style strategies inside an ETF fixes the access problem. Anyone with a brokerage account can buy shares, with no high minimum investment. The harder question is whether the models can produce returns that support the fee and the leverage.

Over the coming months, investors can monitor asset growth, holdings, trading spreads, and shareholder reports, while assessing whether the strategies deliver adequate returns after expenses. For more on recent ETF launches on the same exchange, see our coverage of a new power-focused ETF that also sells calls.

WisdomTree uvedla ETF WSLS a WTAL na burzu TXSE
WT Wisdomtree
FMP Stock News 88
Original source text
WisdomTree, Inc. (“WisdomTree”) (NYSE: WT), a global financial innovator, today announced the launch of the WisdomTree Efficient Long/Short U.S. SmallCap Equity Fund (WSLS) and the WisdomTree Global Alpha Fund (WTAL), both powered by AlphaBeta and listed on the Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE) with expense ratios of 0.88%. The Funds mark WisdomTree’s first launches on TXSE and expand WisdomTree’s capital-efficient product offering, providing investors with access to systematic long/short strategies traditionally associated with hedge funds through an ETF structure.

The Funds build on the approach introduced with the WisdomTree Efficient Long/Short U.S. Equity Fund (WTLS), extending WisdomTree’s use of quantitative, systematic investment strategies to pursue differentiated sources of return within equity portfolios. Since launching in January 2026, WTLS’s live performance has shown the potential of WisdomTree’s machine learning ensemble of strategies and the Fund’s strategic long/short overlay on top of broad large cap equity exposure. With WSLS, WisdomTree is now extending this capital-efficient core framework to small cap equities, where greater dispersion in individual stock returns may create opportunities for these long/short models to add value.

WSLS applies this approach to U.S. small cap equities while maintaining broad small cap market exposure, while WTAL combines long/short strategies across U.S. and international equities to pursue more market-neutral alpha across regions.

Helping investors build more well-rounded and diversified portfolios has been a goal of WisdomTree’s capital-efficient suite for nearly a decade, beginning with strategies that combined stock and bond exposures within a single portfolio.

“Many investors want returns that don't simply rise and fall with the broader market, but accessing those returns has often meant adding complexity to a portfolio,” said Jeremy Schwartz, Global Chief Investment Officer at WisdomTree. “WSLS is designed to enhance how investors access U.S. small caps, maintaining broad market participation while layering on a systematic long/short strategy that seeks additional alpha. With WTAL, we’re expanding that opportunity across global equity markets, giving investors access to systematic long/short strategies through an ETF format they already know and use.”

WSLS: What’s Under the Hood?
WSLS seeks total return by combining U.S. small cap equity securities or derivatives that provide similar exposure with a dynamic long/short U.S. small cap equity overlay strategy. The capital-efficient structure is designed to maintain broad participation in the U.S. small cap market while pursuing an additional source of potential alpha through systematic stock selection.

Broad Small Cap Participation: Seeks to maintain exposure to the U.S. small cap equity market through small cap equity securities or derivatives that provide similar exposure.Insights from AlphaBeta Research Tools: The Fund selects investments using machine learning models developed by AlphaBeta and trained on historical data to make predictions about a security’s return and/or risk.Capital Efficiency: Layers an alternative, alpha-seeking strategy on top of core equity exposure without requiring additional capital outlays.WTAL: What’s Under the Hood?
WTAL seeks total return through two dynamic long/short equity overlay strategies, one focused on U.S. equities and the other on international equities. The Fund seeks exposure to each basket through derivatives, including swap contracts, with U.S. Treasuries and cash or cash equivalents serving as collateral.

Global Opportunity: Pursues long and short opportunities across U.S. and international equity markets.Insights from AlphaBeta Research Tools: The Fund selects investments using machine learning models developed by AlphaBeta and trained on historical data to make predictions about a security’s return and/or risk.Market-Neutral Approach: Aims to provide a market-neutral return stream driven by relative stock performance rather than broad equity market direction. The strategies were developed in partnership with AlphaBeta, an Israeli fintech company specializing in quantitative investing, in which WisdomTree announced a strategic minority investment in November 2025. AlphaBeta’s research platform uses machine learning models to evaluate stock characteristics, identify potential relative return opportunities, and inform long/short portfolio construction.

FMP Stock News 72
Original source text
WisdomTree, Inc. (WT - Free Report) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.31 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.26 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.18 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of +19.23%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this company would post earnings of $0.25 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.27, delivering a surprise of +8%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates four times.

WisdomTree, Inc., which belongs to the Zacks Financial - Miscellaneous Services industry, posted revenues of $177.16 million for the quarter ended June 2026, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 4.34%. This compares to year-ago revenues of $112.62 million. The company has topped consensus revenue estimates four times over the last four quarters.

The sustainability of the stock's immediate price movement based on the recently-released numbers and future earnings expectations will mostly depend on management's commentary on the earnings call.

WisdomTree, Inc. shares have added about 54.2% since the beginning of the year versus the S&P 500's gain of 8.7%.

What's Next for WisdomTree, Inc.?While WisdomTree, Inc. has outperformed the market so far this year, the question that comes to investors' minds is: what's next for the stock?

There are no easy answers to this key question, but one reliable measure that can help investors address this is the company's earnings outlook. Not only does this include current consensus earnings expectations for the coming quarter(s), but also how these expectations have changed lately.

Empirical research shows a strong correlation between near-term stock movements and trends in earnings estimate revisions. Investors can track such revisions by themselves or rely on a tried-and-tested rating tool like the Zacks Rank, which has an impressive track record of harnessing the power of earnings estimate revisions.

Ahead of this earnings release, the estimate revisions trend for WisdomTree, Inc. was mixed. While the magnitude and direction of estimate revisions could change following the company's just-released earnings report, the current status translates into a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) for the stock. So, the shares are expected to perform in line with the market in the near future. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

It will be interesting to see how estimates for the coming quarters and the current fiscal year change in the days ahead. The current consensus EPS estimate is $0.30 on $177.8 million in revenues for the coming quarter and $1.14 on $674.92 million in revenues for the current fiscal year.

Investors should be mindful of the fact that the outlook for the industry can have a material impact on the performance of the stock as well.
