Shiba Inu remains under heavy pressure despite showing some signs of stabilization near local lows. After losing a number of significant support levels during the overall market decline, the asset is currently trading at $0.0000043. The 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day trend lines on the chart continue to point downward, indicating that bears are still in control of the market. SHIB is clearly below all major moving averages.

The recent rebound from June lows has been modest at best. Another rejection and continuation lower resulted from SHIB's short-lived formation of a small ascending structure that was unable to maintain momentum.

SHIB/USDT Chart by TradingViewPositively, the RSI is trying to form a higher low after recovering from extremely oversold territory, indicating that selling pressure is progressively lessening. The first significant obstacle for bulls is still the $0.0000046 region, which is followed by more robust resistance close to $0.0000050-$0.0000055, where a number of moving averages converge.

HOT Stories

A breakout above those levels could trigger a more meaningful recovery. Any upward movement should be seen as a relief rally within a broader downtrend, though, as long as SHIB stays below them.

Should XRP Rival SHIB?Technically, XRP is outperforming SHIB by a small margin. The asset has held above the psychologically significant $1 level after a protracted decline, and it has recently recovered toward $1.09. XRP is still trading below the 100-day and 200-day trend indicators, but the recovery has forced it back toward its short-term moving average.

The completed breakdown from a multi-month consolidation range is the chart's most prominent feature. That breakdown accelerated selling pressure throughout June, but XRP appears to be attempting to establish a local bottom above the $1 support zone.

You Might Also Like

Momentum is improving, as seen by the RSI's recovery toward neutral territory. If buyers keep things under control, XRP may face resistance at $1.12 and then $1.21, which is where the 100-day moving average is currently located. The asset's outlook would be greatly enhanced by a successful move above those levels.

Although XRP is still in a bearish long-term structure for the time being, it is exhibiting relative resilience in comparison to many significant altcoins. While holding above $1 is still crucial, a recovery above $1.21 would be the first clear sign of a more significant reversal.

Hyperliquid Makes HasteDespite the recent decline, Hyperliquid is still one of the market's top large-cap performers. HYPE is currently consolidating around $66 after surging to new all-time highs close to $76, returning some of its gains while preserving a strong bullish structure.

In contrast to the majority of altcoins, HYPE is still trading well above its upward-sloping 50-, 100-, and 200-day moving averages. The wider uptrend is confirmed to be intact by that alignment. The price has returned to the 50-day moving average at $63.9 as a result of the recent correction, and this is serving as the first significant dynamic support.

You Might Also Like

After spending weeks close to overbought territory, the RSI has retreated to the neutral 53 area, indicating a significant cooling of momentum. That is a healthy development rather than a bearish one, as it reduces the risk of an overheated market. Another attempt to recover the $70 level is more likely if buyers hold onto the $63–$64 support zone.

Although the long-term outlook would remain bullish unless that level also fails, losing that support would expose HYPE to a deeper correction toward the 100-day moving average near $61.5.

Synapse's Unexpected RecoveryIn just a few weeks, Synapse went from below $0.05 to above $0.50, making it one of the market's most explosive performers. The rally was propelled by multiple events that reinforced one another rather than a single catalyst. After Binance placed SYN under its Monitoring Tag, the action started as an aggressive short squeeze. As the price recovered from extremely oversold levels, heavily shorted positions were compelled to cover rather than causing capitulation.

SYN/USDT Chart by TradingViewAfter the Synapse team shifted the project's narrative from its legacy bridge business to Hypercall, an options exchange based on Hyperliquid, the rally picked up speed. There was a resurgence of speculative interest in that new direction. The last significant boost came when Arthur Hayes, a co-founder of BitMEX, revealed an OTC purchase of over six million SYN tokens for about $2.2 million.

He described this as asymmetric exposure to the Hypercall ecosystem. His support raised market awareness considerably. Technically, however, caution is warranted. SYN is trading well inside overbought territory, with an RSI close to 88. The unusually long wicks of daily candles indicate significant profit-taking and high volatility.

The price is currently trading several hundred percent above the long-term moving averages, even though they have turned bullish. This leaves ample opportunity for significant retracements. Bulls continue to have momentum as long as SYN stays above the psychological $0.50 area. But after such a vertical move, volatility should be expected, and another 20–40 percent correction would not necessarily invalidate the broader uptrend.

Synapse Price Soars After Arthur Hayes Buys $2.2M SYN
SYN Synapse
CoinGecko News
Original source text
TLDR; Arthur Hayes buys SYN worth $2.2 million, pushing Synapse into focus after its sharp June rally. SYN futures activity surged as traders increased bullish exposure after the high-profile whale purchase. Synapse price now faces key resistance near $1 after breaking a long-running technical downtrend. Hypercall’s options DEX narrative has strengthened interest around SYN and the wider Hyperliquid ecosystem. Synapse price became one of the crypto market’s strongest movers after Arthur Hayes bought 6.16 million SYN tokens. The purchase was worth nearly $2.2 million, according to onchain data. SYN rallied more than 40% in 24 hours after the news spread across crypto trading circles.

The move came after the token had already surged sharply during June. Traders now see the SYN token as a fresh Hyperliquid ecosystem play, especially after Hayes backed the Hypercall options narrative.

Synapse Price Rally Accelerates After Arthur Hayes SYN Buy Synapse price gained fresh attention after Hayes revealed his interest in asymmetric bets inside the Hyperliquid ecosystem. He pointed to Hypercall as a possible options DEX challenger to Deribit. Hypercall is linked to the Synapse ecosystem, which gave the SYN token a new trading narrative.

🚨ARTHUR HAYES BUYS $2.2M $SYN!

Arthur Hayes bought 6.16M tokens right after $SYN already surged 10x+ in June, according to Lookonchain.

— Crypto Banter (@crypto_banter) June 29, 2026

The timing of the purchase strengthened the reaction. Hayes bought after SYN had already posted a major monthly rally. That detail made the move more notable for traders watching whale accumulation.

Market participants often track Hayes because of his history in crypto derivatives. His latest position placed Synapse back into broader market discussion. The token quickly became one of the most discussed mid-cap assets on crypto X.

The rally was not limited to spot demand. CoinGlass data reveals SYN futures volume rising above $563 million in 24 hours. Open interest also jumped about 80% to more than $63 million.

Source: Coinglass That increase suggests new capital entered the trade. It also shows that traders were not only closing short positions. Positive funding rates pointed to stronger demand for long exposure.

Short sellers faced heavy pressure during the move. Liquidation data showed most forced exits came from bearish positions. That helped extend the rally as momentum buyers entered the market.

Synapse Price Eyes $1 As Hypercall Narrative Builds Synapse price also broke above a long-running descending trendline that had capped gains since 2024. The breakout came with some of the highest volume seen in months. That added strength to the bullish technical setup.

Before the move, SYN had spent months trading between $0.14 and $0.20. Buyers then pushed the token above $0.55 during the latest rally. That shift changed short-term sentiment around the chart.

SYN/USD dailly chart. Source: TradingView The first major resistance now sits near $0.59. A clean move above that area could open a path toward $0.74. Traders are also watching the psychological $1 level if volume remains strong.

Support sits near $0.33 on the current structure. A deeper loss below $0.21 would weaken the bullish setup. That level remains important if profit-taking grows after the sharp rally.

The Hyperliquid ecosystem narrative is now central to the SYN token story. Investors are watching whether Hypercall can attract real options trading activity. Product adoption may decide whether this rally holds beyond whale-driven hype.

Synapse price still faces volatility after such a fast move. Short-term traders may lock in gains if momentum slows. However, rising open interest, heavy volume, and the Hayes purchase have made SYN one of the market’s most watched altcoins this week.

A sustained weekly close above $0.45 would keep buyers in control. Strong volume above $0.59 would add more pressure on resistance. Any fresh Hypercall update could keep traders focused on the SYN token.

Synapse price rallies 13% – Why SYN’s fundamentals still warrant caution
SYN Synapse
CoinGecko News
Original source text
Synapse [SYN] has emerged as one of the few tokens still drawing liquidity through an otherwise murky market, with much of the sentiment tracing back to whale activity and to its options product, Hypercall, which has anchored the rally.

At press time, SYN had risen 13% in the previous day and was increasingly viewed as a potential next major cryptocurrency, with traders arguing that it is undervalued at current levels and has room to grow.

Arthur Hayes drives the SYN narrative A wave of buying from prominent crypto investors, led by Arthur Hayes, who has publicly supported SYN‘s tokenomics and market growth, has reinforced this view. Lookonchain data shows Hayes acquired roughly 6.16 million SYN, worth about $2.2 million, through OTC desk FlowDesk, a position markets have read as a committed bull signal pointing to a sustained rally.

His core thesis is that SYN trades at a discount compared to Hypercall. Hypercall is an on‑chain options exchange he believes could rival Deribit. Coinbase acquired Deribit for $2.9 billion in 2025. He also argues that SYN offers meaningful upside when measured against the scale of a traditional options giant like Cboe.

Hayes has also pointed to SYN’s token structure as a fit, citing a tweet noting that roughly 88% of supply already circulates, with about 12% held in treasury and no venture capital allocation.

Why do SYN perpetual traders lean bearish? Spot netflow data reinforces the demand story, showing more SYN bought than sold over the past 24 hours. Total SYN purchased reached $6.21 million in the past day against $6.18 million sold over the same window, leaving bulls narrowly ahead and overall spot sentiment mildly bullish.

The perpetuals market diverges from spot. At press time, Open Interest rose to $32.18 million due to fresh capital inflows of $2.61 million, while the Long/Short Ratio remained above one.

Source: CoinGlass The Funding Rate, however, sat in negative territory at -0.0299%, with shorts paying to hold their positions.

The two readings can coexist because the ratio counts trader accounts while funding reflects position size; more accounts sit long, but heavier short size drags funding below zero. Such a divergence signals that a section of traders is positioning against the rally on the view that SYN looks overvalued at current levels.

Fundamentals undercut the valuation According to CoinMarketCap, SYN carries a market capitalization of roughly $91 million. While that looks modest beside the market’s major tokens, Synapse, the protocol behind SYN, shows little underlying activity to justify even that figure.

DeFiLlama data underlines the gap. Across Q2 2026 so far, the protocol has generated just $3,170 in gross revenue and $3,140 in gross profit, strikingly low for a protocol commanding that valuation.

Source: DeFillama The reading marks a sharp fall from earlier performance, with gross profit running near $965,000 in Q2 2024.

Tokens can and do rally without earnings to support them, as memecoins have repeatedly shown. On current fundamentals, the data points to a SYN move driven by positioning and narrative rather than protocol revenue.

Final Summary Arthur Hayes’ multimillion-dollar bet and a sharp price jump have made Synapse one of the market’s most-watched tokens this week. Synapse generates almost no revenue, raising the question of whether the rally is based on hype rather than actual earnings.

Arthur Hayes reveals $2.2M Synapse bet as SYN price jumps
BMEX BitMEX SYN Synapse
CoinGecko News
Original source text
Arthur Hayes has revealed a $2.2 million investment in Synapse’s SYN token after backing its Hypercall options DEX, helping drive the token as much as 26% higher on Monday.

Summary

Arthur Hayes disclosed a $2.2 million SYN purchase after backing Synapse’s Hypercall options DEX. Hayes said Hypercall could challenge Deribit as he seeks asymmetric exposure to the Hyperliquid ecosystem. SYN surged as much as 26%, while falling futures open interest pointed to profit-taking after the rally. According to a June 29 post on X by BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes, he sees Hypercall, an options decentralized exchange built by the Synapse team and settled on Hyperliquid, as a credible challenger to crypto options exchange Deribit.

Explaining why he backed the project, Hayes wrote that he still wanted exposure to the Hyperliquid ecosystem but was looking for a more asymmetric opportunity.

“I still want to be long the Hyperliquid ecosystem but I need some asymmetry. It’s time for an options dex to properly take on Deribit. Hypercall, owned by SYN, is that challenger.”

On-chain data from Arkham later showed Hayes purchased 6.16 million SYN tokens worth about $2.2 million from Flowdesk. The purchase came shortly after his public endorsement and coincided with a sharp rally in the token.

Hayes has pointed to tokenomics behind the investment Alongside his endorsement of Hypercall, Hayes shared a post by crypto investor Duncan, writing, “DYOR – but I found this pretty compelling.”

In the thread Hayes reposted, Duncan argued that SYN offered an attractive risk-reward profile because it had an estimated fully diluted valuation of about $81 million, no venture capital unlock overhang, roughly 88% of its supply already circulating, and listings on major exchanges including Binance and Kraken.

Duncan also compared SYN with Hyperliquid’s HYPE during its early rally, calling it one of the most asymmetric investment opportunities he has seen in crypto. According to Duncan, Hypercall also expands the utility of the SYN token through revenue mechanisms such as buybacks.

The endorsement comes only days after Hayes reduced exposure to several other digital assets. As previously reported by crypto.news, he exited positions in Worldcoin, Zcash, NEAR and Hyperliquid after arguing that higher energy prices, large artificial intelligence IPOs and political uncertainty could weigh on crypto markets.

More recently, he also sold 6,000 Ethereum at a loss despite having accumulated nearly $10.6 million worth of ETH in the preceding days, even as other large investors continued buying around a key support zone.

Traders lock in profits after the rally As per data from crypto.news, Synapse (SYN) price initially climbed about 26% following Hayes’ comments before giving back part of those gains as traders took profits. Even after the pullback, the token remained up more than 1,100% over the past month, having outperformed much of the crypto market during a period of heightened volatility.

Derivatives data suggested the rally was followed by profit-taking. SYN futures open interest fell 13% during the previous four hours to $31.98 million, although it remained about 5% higher over the past 24 hours.

Exchange-level data showed the largest declines in open interest occurred on Binance, where it dropped roughly 15%, followed by more than 14% on Bitget and around 10% on MEXC. The reduction in outstanding positions indicates that some traders used the surge in liquidity after Hayes’ endorsement to close positions rather than open new leveraged bets.

Arthur Hayes Bets Big on Synapse’s Hypercall as Deribit’s Rival, SYN Token Jumps 26%
BMEX BitMEX SYN Synapse
CoinGecko News
Original source text
BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes expressed his support behind Synapse Protocol’s Hypercall options DEX, claiming it as a rival to Deribit. Hayes also purchased SYN token, triggering a 26% over the past 24 hours.

Arthur Hayes Sees Synapse’s Hypercall as Deribit Rival In an X post on June 29, BitMEX co-founder highlighted Hypercall, a options DEX built by the Synapse team and settled on Hyperliquid. He believes the platform can compete with crypto derivatives trading exchange Deribit.

“I still want to be long the Hyperliquid ecosystem but I need some asymmetry. It’s time for an options dex to properly take on Deribit,” said Arthur Hayes.

In addition, Arthur Hayes highlighted several factors including low FDV of $81 million, no venture capital overhang or unlocks, 88% of circulating supply with the remaining in treasury, and listed on major exchanges like Binance and Kraken.

He drew parallels to his earlier successful call on Hyperliquid’s HYPE token, calling SYN one of the most asymmetric bets in crypto. Notably, Hypercall also extends the utility of SYN token, which benefits from revenue mechanisms such as buybacks.

SYN Token Price Surges 26% SYN token surged 26% over the past 2 hours after Arthur Hayes said he found “this pretty compelling. On-chain data also revealed he purchased 6.16 million SYN tokens worth $2.2 million from Flowdesk.

While SYN price pared 12% gains, Arthur Hayes is still sitting at a profit. He bought the token at a price of $0.3573.

Synapse token has rallied more than 1,100% in a month. The token recorded a massive rally when the broader crypto market crashed. The move fits Arthur Hayes’ focus on the Hyperliquid ecosystem.

Derivatives data signaled massive profit booking in the last few hours amid “buy the rumor, sell the news” strategy. SYN futures open interest is down 13% in past 4 hours at $31.98 million, but still up 5% over past 24 hours.

Notably, SYN futures open interest plunged 15% on Binance, over 14% on Bitget, and 10% on MEXC. This indicates selling pressure on the token as many used the latest liquidity to exit the token.

Arthur Hayes Scoops Millions In Syn Token Trade
BMEX BitMEX SYN Synapse
CoinGecko News
Original source text
BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes purchased 6.16 million Synapse ($SYN) tokens worth approximately $2.2 million in a single transaction, according to on-chain analytics platform Lookonchain. The buy was flagged publicly roughly one hour after it was recorded on-chain.

The Trade and the Thesis The transaction was routed through FlowDesk, a Paris-based over-the-counter trading desk that facilitates large block trades away from public order books, with an implied entry price of around $0.36 per token based on the reported transaction size. The purchase came before Hayes publicly backed Hypercall, an options decentralised exchange connected to the Synapse ecosystem. Hayes framed the position around seeking asymmetric exposure within the Hyperliquid ecosystem, pointing to Hypercall as an options DEX with the potential to compete with Deribit.

That framing places SYN inside a derivatives narrative rather than a straightforward cross-chain infrastructure play, which is what Synapse was originally built around. Synapse functions as an interchain programming interface, allowing developers to build applications with native cross-chain capabilities, with SYN serving as its primary governance and utility token.

A Token Already Deep in a Rally Hayes was not buying into a quiet market. SYN had already surged more than 10 times in value over the course of June before the trade was flagged. Data from CoinGecko shows the token trading at around $0.3856 on June 29, representing a 122.90% gain over the prior seven days alone, with 24-hour trading volume approaching $95 million. With a circulating supply of around 220 million tokens, the market cap stood at roughly $84 million, making Hayes' $2.2 million position one of the more closely watched small-cap moves of the month.

The rally appeared to be driven more by broad DeFi risk-on sentiment and momentum buying than by a single fundamental catalyst. CoinMarketCap data noted SYN's multi-day surge was attributed to technicals rather than new project fundamentals, with the token rebounding from an all-time low of $0.027 set earlier in June.

The trade is consistent with Hayes' broader pattern of accumulating smaller, higher-beta assets during momentum cycles. On-chain records show he has made several significant DeFi token purchases in recent months, including Ethereum, ENA, and ETHFI.

What is Synapse (SYN) Coin?
SYN Synapse
CoinGecko News
Original source text
Synapse is an interoperability protocol designed for the secure and safe transfer of random data between blockchains. The protocol consists of: Generalized Cross-Chain Communication, Optimistic Security Model, Synapse Bridge.

With Synapse’s generalized messaging system, any random data can be securely and seamlessly transferred between chains. According to the statements made, applications no longer need to be distributed across multiple blockchains; they can be deployed on a single chain and communicate with other chains to create the same user experience from a single centralized application layer. General messaging also includes smart contract calls, enabling smart contracts on different chains to work together seamlessly. Simply put, Synapse’s general messaging feature serves as a framework for universal blockchain interoperability.

Synapse’s optimistic verification is inspired by Celo’s Optics protocol. A multi-chain future is seen as inevitable. In such a future, generalized messaging and bridge protocols will become integral parts of the infrastructure; however, according to the team’s statements, the underlying security models of most of today’s interoperability platforms leave much to be desired.

The Synapse Bridge allows users to seamlessly and securely swap assets across more than 15 EVM and non-EVM blockchains. The bridge supports two types of bridging:

Canonical Token Bridging – bridging wrapped assets between chainsLiquidity-Based Bridging – bridging native assets across cross-chain stableswap poolsThe Synapse Bridge is also available for developers who want to natively integrate cross-chain asset swaps into their applications. By leveraging this bridge, developers can create truly cross-chain DeFi applications, including cross-chain DEX, lending platforms, margin systems, derivatives markets, yield farming, and much more.

The cross-chain AMM allows users to access deep liquidity, low fees, and minimal slippage. It is stated that within a short period, the bridge has become one of the most widely used and trusted bridges, processing nearly $11 billion in total volume, serving hundreds of thousands of users, and supporting massive-scale dapps like DeFi Kingdoms.

Original source text
Binance, the world’s leading crypto exchange, on Friday made a significant announcement for the universal interoperability protocol Synapse. The crypto exchange revealed futures listing for SYN token. Traders responded immediately and the price witnessed a nearly 40% uptick in value following the listing announcement today.

Binance Unveils Synapse Futures Listing According to an official announcement by Binance today, August 16, the exchange is all set to launch the USD-Margined perpetual contract for SYN at 12:30 UTC today. Users can enjoy up to 50x leverage trading SYNUSDT.

The underlying asset Synapse is a universal interoperability protocol that enables cross-chain communication. Further, the token’s futures listing on one of the world’s leading exchanges has ignited significant optimism among market participants. High leverages encourage more market participants to invest in the asset, jacking up trading volume and market attention.

Also, the capped funding rate for the Synapse was set at +2.00% / -2.00%. However, “Based on market risk conditions, the exchange may adjust the specifications of the aforementioned futures contract from time to time,” it added in a statement. This listing chronicle has aided the token in garnering significant attention across the broader crypto market.

Simultaneously, the token’s price noted unprecedented gains today, in tandem with the listing announcement.

As CoinGape reported earlier, BANANA Price hit a weekly high following Banana Gun futures listing by Binance. Also, Banana Gun, the platform behind BANANA, initiated a massive burn to further bolster the token’s price.

Synapse price soars 40% as Binance Futures lists SYN
SYN Synapse
CoinGecko News
Original source text
Synapse, the interoperability protocol and cross-chain bridge, has seen its native token soar after Binance Futures news.

On Aug. 16, the price of Synapse (SYN) surged to over $0.57 after gaining more than 40% in 24 hours. Daily trading volume increased by 203% to over $68 million, while market capitalization hovered around $107 million following the 40% spike at the time of writing.

The gains for the inter-blockchain compatibility project came after a major listing announcement by leading crypto exchange Binance.

Futures trading allows traders to buy or sell the underlying asset — whether it be a commodity, security, or other assets — at a set price in the future. It’s a contract that lets crypto holders speculate on the future price of the asset, whether it will rise or fall. Buyers or sellers are obligated to transact the asset at the agreed price, with the losing bet essentially compensating the winning side.

Buyers or sellers will have to buy or sell the said asset at the given price – with the bet that loses essentially paying the one that gets the future price right.

According to Binance, the launch of the SYNUSDT Perpetual Contract expands trading options for its users. The Synapse futures trading on Binance went live on Aug. 16 at 12:30 pm UTC, offering up to 50x leverage. Settlement for the contract will be in USDT.

https://twitter.com/BinanceFutures/status/1824377509171040704

Why else did SYN price rise? According to Sigil Fund partner Joe HedgeHog, SYN’s price is also surging amid community anticipation surrounding the upcoming Synapse chain and Interchain network launch expected this August.

Additionally, an address recently accumulated over $1 million worth of SYN, likely contributing to the upward pressure on the token.

While there’s no specific major news directly related to the Synapse network, traders appear optimistic about the project’s increased visibility and forthcoming milestones.

The key price target for SYN remains its all-time high of $4.92, reached in October 2021.

Ethereum-Based Interoperability Altcoin Explodes After Binance Futures Listing
ETH Ethereum SYN Synapse
CoinGecko News
Original source text
An interoperable Ethereum (ETH)-based decentralized finance (DeFi) platform is skyrocketing after suddenly gaining support from Binance.

In a new announcement, the world’s largest crypto exchange platform by volume says that it will be adding futures contracts for interoperability protocol Synapse (SYN).

[adinserter block="1"]

“To expand the list of trading choices offered on Binance Futures and enhance users’ trading experience, Binance Futures will launch the SYNUSDT Perpetual Contract at 2024-08-16 12:30 (UTC) with up to 50x leverage.”

News of the listing sent SYN, the project’s native asset, flying. SYN is trading for $0.522 at time of writing, a staggering 32% increase during the last 24 hours.

Altcoin Sherpa Predicts Potential Rise for PepeCoin and Synapse
SUI Sui SYN Synapse
CoinGecko News
Original source text
Popular crypto analyst Altcoin Sherpa suggested that there might be more upward potential for PepeCoin (PEPECOIN). Speaking to his followers on the social media platform X, the analyst predicts that PepeCoin could continue its upward trend after a pullback to a critical level.

Analyst Sees Uptrend in PEPECOINAltcoin Sherpa emphasized that PEPECOIN is currently performing strongly and noted that the price could pull back to the $2.30 level, which corresponds to the 200-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA). He mentioned that the $2.30 level could be a good entry point in the short term and that a recovery from this level is possible.

Altcoin Sherpa said, “PEPECOIN is doing well right now, showing great strength. It is still uncertain whether this momentum will continue, but pay attention to the 200-day EMA here. Around $2.30 could be a good entry point in the short term. I made some purchases.”

At the time of writing, PepeCoin is trading at $2.97, having risen over 27,000% since its low of $0.01088 on October 13, 2023.

“Synapse (SYN) Follows Sui Network (SUI)”Altcoin Sherpa also compared the price chart of the Synapse (SYN) protocol to that of the smart contract platform Sui Network (SUI). He suggested that the SYN price chart is forming a structure similar to SUI’s price movements and could rise soon. The analyst noted that several EMAs on the four-hour chart are moving upward, indicating positive momentum for SYN.

On the other hand, the analyst pointed out that SYN is lagging behind other bridge projects and that investors might find better alternatives, saying, “SUI has a solid offering and story. In contrast, SYN is a weak bridge, and there are better projects out there. Just looking at the chart, I like SYN, but it might take some time. I think other bridge projects are better investments, but this chart is definitely nice; let’s see what happens.”

At the time of writing, SUI is trading at $1.01, up over 19% in the last 24 hours, while SYN is trading at $0.61, up 8.6% in the same period.

How to Buy Synapse (SYN) Coin?
SYN Synapse
CoinGecko News
Original source text
The Synapse Bridge is the first user-oriented product built on the cross-chain communication network.

What is Synapse (SYN)?Synapse Chain is described as an Ethereum $1,623-based optimistic roll-up designed to serve as a sovereign execution environment for cross-chain use cases. By leveraging Synapse’s cross-chain messaging system, Synapse Chain provides developers with a generalized smart contract interface to create cross-chain use cases natively. Applications built on Synapse Chain will be able to execute their business logic on any blockchain. The driving force behind creating a sovereign chain to facilitate cross-chain messaging comes from the insights gained by the core contributing team when working with teams developing cross-chain applications. A programming environment specifically suited for the use cases built on top of the messaging system simplifies deployment and state management across chains and becomes much more efficient when cross-chain business logic is hosted in a single execution environment. This enables users to interact with the state atomically, even if it is distributed across various blockchains.

Following the launch of Synapse Chain, gas payments to the sequencer will be made in ETH to promote the best possible user experience. Shortly after the launch, Synapse DAO may explore a series of mechanisms to link the use of Synapse Chain to SYN to strengthen the symbiotic relationship between Synapse Chain and the messaging system. While they are unique components, Synapse Chain can only succeed if the messaging system can provide the trusted security that SYN aims to foster.

SYN Coin can be securely bought and sold on Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume. SYN Coin is traded on the Binance platform in SYN/BTC and SYN/USDT pairs.

To purchase SYN, you must first register on the Binance exchange. Once registration is complete, you need to transfer cryptocurrency or fiat currency to your Binance wallet. After completing the transfer, you can buy SYN Coin through the three pairs mentioned above. To purchase via the SYN/USDT pair, navigate to the interface of this pair. In the SYN/USDT interface, enter the desired amount in the field specified under the limit tab. After entering the amount, complete the purchase by placing a Buy SYN order.

FINANCE FEEDS: Synapse Crypto Network: Use Cases and Future Potential
SYN Synapse
CoinGecko News
Original source text
KEY TAKEAWAYS

Synapse operates as a cross-chain communications network that enables asset transfers, swaps, and generalized messaging across more than 15 EVM and non-EVM blockchains. The network secures cross-chain transactions through multi-party computation validators and has experimented with optimistic verification to achieve faster, fraud-proof security. Use cases extend beyond bridging to include stablecoin transfers, DeFi composability, generalized messaging for dApps, and developer SDKs for cross-chain integrations. The SYN token has been migrated to CX at a 1-to-5.5 ratio as Synapse transitions into the Cortex Protocol ecosystem per CoinMarketCap. Future potential depends on Layer 2 adoption, a bridgeless swap architecture, regulatory clarity, and competition from alternative interoperability protocols such as LayerZero and Wormhole. The blockchain industry has fragmented into dozens of high-performance networks, each competing for users, developers, and liquidity. That fragmentation created a demand for secure cross-chain infrastructure, and Synapse emerged as one of the most widely used solutions.

According to CoinMarketCap, the Synapse Bridge allows users to seamlessly swap on-chain assets across 15+ EVM and non-EVM blockchains in a safe and secure manner. This guide walks through what Synapse is, how the protocol works, its primary use cases, the SYN-to-CX token migration, and what the network’s future could look like in a maturing cross-chain landscape.

What Is The Synapse Network? Synapse is a cross-layer protocol that enables frictionless interoperability between blockchains. As described by Synapse Protocol, the network enables decentralized, permissionless transactions between any Layer 1, sidechain, or Layer 2 ecosystem, powering integral activities such as asset transfers, swaps, and generalized messaging.

Originally launched in August 2021 as a spin-off from the Nerve protocol, Synapse rapidly grew into one of the most-used cross-chain bridges. Its ecosystem is composed of six parts: the Synapse Bridge, a cross-chain automated market maker (AMM), aggregative cross-chain communication, the SYN token, the Synapse Chain, and optimistic security approaches.

How The Synapse Bridge Works The Synapse Bridge supports two bridging modes. Canonical token bridging transfers wrapped versions of assets across chains, while liquidity-based bridging routes native assets through cross-chain stableswap pools. According to 101 Blockchains, the bridge has been built with an emphasis on security and decentralized governance, differentiating it from multi-sig-heavy competitors.

The network is secured by cross-chain multi-party computation (MPC) validators operating with threshold signature schemes. The network is leaderless, and consensus is reached when two-thirds of validators collectively sign the same transaction, triggering issuance on the destination chain.

Use Cases of The Synapse Network Here are some of the use cases of the synapse network;

Stablecoin Transfers Synapse supports stablecoin bridging across major networks, including Ethereum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Fantom, and Optimism. This makes it a practical tool for users moving USDC and other dollar-pegged assets between Layer 1s and Layer 2s.

Generalized Cross-Chain Messaging Beyond asset transfers, Synapse’s messaging layer lets applications send arbitrary data across chains. Developers can deploy a dApp on a single chain and have it communicate with other networks, removing the need for separate deployments across ecosystems.

Developer SDK And REST API The Synapse Bridge SDK allows developers to integrate cross-chain token transfers directly into their applications. 101 Blockchains notes that the REST API also enables dynamic integration of Synapse liquidity and token transfers into non-JavaScript applications.

DeFi Composability Because Synapse sits at the interoperability layer, it has become a building block for composable DeFi. Liquidity providers, aggregators, and cross-chain yield strategies all rely on bridging infrastructure like Synapse to route capital efficiently.

Synapse Chain and Bridgeless Swaps Synapse has been developing an Ethereum-based optimistic rollup, Synapse Chain, as a sovereign execution environment for cross-chain use cases.

In an interview with Blockworks, Synapse COO Max Bronstein explained that the chain’s messaging system could attest to asset values without bridging: “If you trust the security of the messaging system, [then] you trust that the asset in the rollup is the same as the asset on the native chain.”

That architecture could reduce the attack surface that has plagued bridge hacks and allow decentralized exchanges on Synapse Chain to offer direct conversions without wrapping.

The SYN to CX Token Migration The Synapse ecosystem has undergone a significant transition. According to CoinMarketCap, Synapse has migrated the SYN token to the CX token at a 1:5.5 ratio, with the rebranded ecosystem now organized under the Cortex Protocol.

Token holders seeking to participate in governance or staking are directed to convert their SYN holdings to CX through the official migration channels. This shift reflects a broader repositioning as the team pivots infrastructure around the Cortex brand.

Future Potential and Competitive Landscape Synapse operates in a crowded interoperability market. Competitors include LayerZero, Wormhole, Axelar, and Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). Each differs in its security model, supported chains, and developer tooling. Synapse’s advantage lies in its established integrations, existing liquidity pools, and the optimistic verification approach it has pioneered.

The roadmap toward bridgeless swaps and the Cortex Protocol transition could position it for continued relevance if execution holds up. Headwinds include lingering concerns about bridge security across the industry and increasing competition from native interoperability standards built into newer chains.

Risks to Consider Cross-chain bridges have historically been among the most attacked components of DeFi. Synapse itself was attacked in November 2021, resulting in a roughly $8 million loss, though the team responded quickly and refunded affected liquidity providers.

Token migrations also introduce operational risk, and holders should verify official migration channels before converting SYN to CX.

Next Steps for Investors The Synapse crypto network has carved out a meaningful role in blockchain interoperability by combining bridging, cross-chain messaging, and developer tooling into one stack. Its migration toward the Cortex Protocol and the continued build-out of Synapse Chain suggest the project intends to remain a key interoperability layer rather than just a bridge.

Whether it can sustain that position depends on the execution of security, the success of bridgeless swaps, and how the wider cross-chain market evolves.

DISCOVER: Next 1000X Crypto: 10+ Crypto Tokens That Can Hit 1000x in 2025

Diving Into Synapse Crypto Complexity Synapse just dropped its Cortex AI Agent related to its protocol, a platform facilitating cross-chain transactions in the crypto decentralized space. It comes with its complex functionality, showing an AI-driven interface that assists users in swapping assets, such as converting Base ETH to HYPE.

The Cortex AI agent simplifies the process by preparing and executing transactions, helping users manage crypto assets across different chains.

It operates within its Cortex Virtual Machine, a framework designed for machine learning inference on the blockchain. This allows decentralized applications to incorporate AI models directly. Not stopping, it also supports some use cases like predictive analytics or automated decision-making.

(source)

The goal is enabling on-chain AI execution to eliminate the need for external computation, while ensuring transparency and security in applications that rely on AI-driven outcomes.

Okay, it’s getting more and more complex!!

Synapse Protocol leverages AI agents to streamline “complex” crypto transactions, as seen in its Cortex drop mechanism. The AI assists users by providing clear steps for asset swaps, such as outlining the transaction details and executing the trade.
