Uniswap has become the world’s first decentralized exchange to hit $3 trillion in aggregate all-time volume.
CEO and founder Hayden Adams posted the achievement on X and thanked everyone who used the platform and helped decentralize the global finance system.
Uniswap currently holds a 23% market share when it comes to daily DEX volumes, with around $3B in volume in the last 24 hours.
As decentralized finance takes center stage, early DeFi investments could really reap heavy rewards.
Read on as we uncover more about Uniswap and also recommend the best new crypto you can invest in to make the most out of the DeFi movement.
Uniswap’s Smart Wallet Plans Uniswap started operating in late 2018. It’s really remarkable that it breached the $3T volume mark in just over six years.
Adam’s tweet also mentioned that Uniswap might be the first DEX to cross the $10T threshold.
$UNI, Uniswap’s native token, showed incredible strength during the last week. It rose around 39% and is currently trading around $7.
It’s worth noting that the CEO has also revealed plans to roll out a native 7702 wallet and support other 7702 wallets through EIP 5792.
7702 wallets allow Externally Owned Accounts (EOAs) to temporarily behave like smart contract wallets during a transaction.
They also come with advanced features such as gasless transactions and custom authentication, which were previously complex and costly.
Also, the new Pectra upgrade aims to bridge the gap between smart wallets and traditional wallets, mobilizing the DeFi migration. It also aims to make swapping crypto a lot more straightforward.
Unlike now, where you have to connect your wallet, pay gas fees, and go through several approval steps, 7702 wallets will allow for one-click swaps, thereby simplifying crypto trading.
As the DeFi ecosystem continues to grow with new features and applications being launched every other day, it’s clear that the future of global finance will have decentralization at its core.
Fret not, though, as you still have time to catch the DeFi train. To help you do so, we’ve handpicked the best cryptos to invest in right now.
1. Solaxy ($SOLX) – Best New Crypto to Buy Right Now When talking about new cryptos that will have a strong impact on the DeFi sector, Solaxy ($SOLX) is the first to come to mind.
After all, this multi-chain token aims to revamp Solana and restore its past glory. Solana, in case you didn’t know, was caught off guard by the launch of $TRUMP and $MELANIA.
The amount of new investors these cryptos brought to Solana proved to be too much for the network. As a result, the blockchain became prone to congestion and failed transactions during periods of heavy traffic.
To solve these issues, Solaxy will build the first-ever Layer 2 on Solana. It will process a bunch of Solana’s transactions on a sidechain, freeing up the network’s mainnet and increasing its speed and efficiency.
What’s more, since $SOLX will process multiple transactions simultaneously, i.e., in batches instead of one by one, it will also reduce the overall costs required to buy and sell cryptos on Solana.
The project has raised over $34.7M so far, but luckily for you, each token is still available for a low price of $0.001722. Want in? Here’s how to buy Solaxy.
2. BTC Bull Token ($BTCBULL) – Best Bitcoin-Themed New Altcoin on the Market Today BTC Bull Token ($BTCBULL) is arguably the best crypto to buy for Bitcoin supporters who are looking for a low-cost way to ride the king cryptocurrency’s growth.
The project’s developers are positive about their token following Bitcoin’s trajectory thanks to its never-before-seen approach to airdrops.
$BTCBULL holders (who store their tokens in Best Wallet) will be rewarded with free $BTC every time Bitcoin reaches a new milestone, such as $150K, $200K, and $250K.
Even better, BTC Bull Token will also follow a deflationary model. According to the project’s whitepaper, it will shave off a portion of the total token supply with every $25K jump in Bitcoin’s price.
So, as Bitcoin reaches record price levels, there’ll be fewer and fewer $BTCBULL tokens on the market. This will increase its demand as well as its price.
Speaking of the token’s price, we’ve predicted $BTCBULL to reach $0.0096 by the end of next year.
This means if you buy BTC Bull Token now for just $0.00251, you could stand to gain around 282.40% ROI in a little over 12 months. The project has over $5.6M in early investor funding at the time of writing.
3. Goatseus Maximus ($GOAT) – Viral Meme Coin Supported by an AI Chatbot Goatseus Maximus is a meme coin on Solana that launched in November 2024. It was created by a user on Pump.fun, but was later adopted by the Truth Terminal AI chatbot, which actively promotes it.
Interestingly, the chatbot calls $GOAT a ‘Trojan horse’ because it’s apparently going to reach every corner of the internet, gathering the support of millions of crypto traders.
After it benefited from the crypto bull run at the time of its launch, reaching a high of around $1.2, $GOAT fell by over 80%.
Now, however, it’s back among the top trending cryptos, having jumped nearly 200% in the last seven days.
$GOAT is currently trading at $0.2146, and seeing as another crypto bull run might be upon us, there’s a high likelihood that this cheap crypto keeps on breaking previous resistance levels.
Bottom Line – New Crypto in a Pole Position to Explode The crypto market has been green across the board ever since Bitcoin started trending upwards a few days ago.
If the trend continues, we can see new low-cap coins snap at the heels of the best meme coins in potentially no time at all.
At the same time, though, it’s worth remembering that the crypto arena is highly unpredictable and volatile.
Only jump in with an amount you’re comfortable losing, and always do your own research before investing. This article isn’t financial advice, after all.
In an era where internet culture drives financial markets, few stories capture the absurdity quite like Peanut the Squirrel ($PNUT). This Solana-based memecoin emerged from genuine tragedy—a beloved pet squirrel's controversial euthanization—and transformed viral outrage into a top 200 CoinMarketCap cryptocurrency with listings on Binance and Coinbase.
What started as social media fury over government overreach became something much larger. When the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) euthanized Peanut in October 2024, the incident sparked widespread criticism and caught the attention of high-profile figures like Elon Musk. This perfect storm of emotion, politics, and internet culture created fertile ground for what would become one of 2024's most talked-about memecoins.
Our comprehensive review examines how $PNUT leveraged viral storytelling to achieve remarkable market success while also exploring the very real risks associated with investing in tokens built on internet sentiment.
From Viral Tragedy to Crypto PhenomenonThe incident that sparked $PNUT quickly became politicized, with critics arguing the government action represented regulatory overreach. But it was the amplification by internet personalities that truly set things in motion.
Musk's criticism on X significantly expanded the story's reach beyond typical animal welfare discussions. When Joe Rogan picked up the narrative on his podcast, connecting it to broader themes of government authority, the foundation was set for something unprecedented in the crypto world.
$PNUT launched in early November 2024 on Pump.fun, timing perfectly with the viral outrage surrounding Peanut's death. The token gained explosive momentum as internet users rallied around the story, transforming grief and anger into financial speculation. Unlike traditional cryptocurrencies with detailed whitepapers and utility roadmaps, $PNUT embraced its nature as pure viral storytelling—and that authenticity resonated.
The development team remains largely anonymous, which is standard practice in the memecoin space but understandably raises transparency questions. Their official presence centers around pnutsol.com and the @pnutsolana X account, where they share updates about exchange listings and community milestones with the enthusiasm you'd expect from a project built on internet culture.
Market Performance: When Memes Meet Money$PNUT's tokenomics follow the memecoin playbook—keep it simple, make it accessible. With a total supply of 1 billion tokens and claimed zero transaction taxes, the project removes typical friction points that might discourage casual traders drawn in by the viral story.
But here's where things get interesting from a market perspective. Despite its humble origins, $PNUT has carved out a significant position in the cryptocurrency rankings, currently sitting in the top 200 on CoinMarketCap. That's no small feat in a space with thousands of competing tokens.
The price action tells a story of extreme volatility that would make even seasoned crypto traders dizzy:
Launch Price: Started around $0.032 on November 4, 2024Peak Performance: Reached $2.44 on November 14, 2024Explosive Growth: Over 7,500% gain from launch to peakHolder Base: 93,413 token holders as of June 2025The Exchange Validation GamePerhaps nothing legitimizes a memecoin quite like major exchange listings—and $PNUT hit the jackpot. The Binance listing on November 11, 2024, marked a pivotal moment that transformed the token from an internet curiosity to a serious market player. The immediate 300% price surge that followed pushed the token above $1 billion market cap within 48 hours, proving that even in crypto's wild west, institutional validation still matters.
What made the Binance listing even more significant was the exchange's decision to create a BTC/PNUT trading pair. This wasn't just another altcoin listing—Binance had previously reserved Bitcoin pairings for established players like Dogecoin. The move signaled genuine confidence in $PNUT's staying power and provided additional legitimacy that many memecoins never achieve.
The domino effect continued when Coinbase officially listed $PNUT in December 2024. The announcement alone triggered a 20% price surge and pushed the token's market cap back above $1 billion. It's a testament to how much weight these endorsements carry in the crypto space.
Beyond the major players, $PNUT secured listings across various exchanges including, Poloniex, KuCoin, HTX, and RevolutApp for UK users. Each new listing expanded accessibility and trading volume, creating the kind of network effects that separate successful memecoins from one-hit wonders. The token even earned a spot as a loanable asset on Binance Loans by June 2025, allowing holders to earn yield on their positions.
The $PNUT community embodies everything fascinating and terrifying about internet-driven investing. Centered around their X account and their Telegram channel, the community operates with the passionate intensity typical of viral internet movements.
What's striking is how the community has embraced both the absurdity and the serious financial implications of their investment. Social media feeds mix memes about squirrels with technical analysis charts, creating a unique blend of humor and financial speculation. Recent posts have celebrated everything from RevolutApp trading availability to Binance's BTC pairing, treating each development as validation of their collective belief in the project.
The sentiment remains largely bullish, with many supporters describing the token as "underpriced"—a common refrain in memecoin communities that sometimes proves prophetic and sometimes leads to painful lessons. Interestingly, some members have tied price movements to political events, particularly Trump's inauguration in January 2025, showing how the original political narrative continues to influence trading psychology.
While Musk's and Rogan's comments weren't direct token endorsements, they provided the foundational story that continues to drive community engagement. However, the community shows signs of maturity rarely seen in memecoin spaces—several X posts actually warn about potential volatility and "bull traps," suggesting a more balanced perspective than the typical "diamond hands" mentality.
Technical Architecture and Security Features$PNUT benefits from Solana's technical infrastructure, which provides fast transaction processing and low fees compared to Ethereum-based alternatives. Transactions settle within seconds at costs typically under $0.01, making it practical for both large and small trades.
The smart contract includes several security features designed to prevent common scams:
Minting Disabled: Total supply locked at 1 billion tokens permanentlyFreezing Disabled: Developers cannot lock user funds or manipulate transfersLiquidity Locked: 99.65% of Raydium pool liquidity secured, reducing rug-pull risksGT Score: Achieved 96.33 on GeckoTerminal, reflecting strong market healthLiquidity security represents another strong point. The project maintains $8.1 million in on-chain liquidity, with the vast majority locked in place.
Contract verification on blockchain explorers allows technically skilled investors to review the token's code and confirm the claimed security features. The contract address can be used to verify token supply, holder distribution, and transaction history.
Addressing Scam Concerns and Controversies$PNUT has faced scrutiny from cryptocurrency analysis platforms questioning its legitimacy, with critics pointing to emotional manipulation tactics, lack of team transparency, and vague tokenomics descriptions. However, these concerns must be evaluated within the context of memecoin standards—most successful projects like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu began with minimal utility and anonymous teams.
Binance's listing decision provides significant credibility to the token's legitimacy. Major exchanges conduct thorough due diligence before listing new tokens, and the fact that Binance created a BTC pairing suggests confidence in the project's authenticity.
The most significant controversy involves a legal dispute between Mark Longo, Peanut's original owner, and Binance over alleged trademark infringement. While this caused a temporary 10% price dip in December 2024, it appears focused on intellectual property rather than the token's fundamental legitimacy. $PNUT continues trading normally across all exchanges.
Investors should also be aware of fake airdrops and fraudulent websites attempting to capitalize on the $PNUT brand, though these are unrelated to the official project.
Investment Opportunities and Risk Assessment$PNUT presents compelling opportunities for cryptocurrency investors seeking exposure to the memecoin sector, but the risks are equally substantial. The token's major exchange listings provide high visibility and liquidity, making it easier to enter and exit positions compared to smaller memecoins traded only on decentralized exchanges.
Key Investment Opportunities:
Major Exchange Access: Listed on Binance, Coinbase, and multiple tier-1 platformsPolitical Narrative: Connection to government overreach themes provides sustained story appealSolana Ecosystem: Benefits from fast, cheap transactions and growing DeFi integrationProven Community: Strong social media presence with engaged holder baseHowever, the risks associated with $PNUT investment are substantial and typical of memecoin investing. The token lacks fundamental utility or revenue-generating mechanisms, making its value entirely dependent on market sentiment and speculative trading. This creates extreme volatility and the potential for significant losses.
Comparison with Other Meme Tokens$PNUT shares characteristics with established meme tokens like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu but stands out through its politically charged narrative and high-profile endorsements. The token's Binance BTC pairing places it in exclusive company with Dogecoin, suggesting institutional recognition that few meme tokens achieve.
Compared to Ethereum-based alternatives, $PNUT benefits from Solana's superior transaction speed and lower costs, making it more practical for frequent trading. Within the Solana ecosystem, it has achieved superior exchange recognition compared to competitors like $PENGU, which focus on NFT integration rather than pure viral marketing.
The political angle distinguishes $PNUT from most meme tokens, which typically rely on internet culture or celebrity endorsements. This connection could provide sustained narrative power but also creates risks if political sentiment shifts or the underlying story loses relevance.
Future Outlook and Conclusion$PNUT has established itself as a legitimate participant in the meme token sector through major exchange listings, locked liquidity, and disabled token manipulation features. While concerns about transparency and utility remain valid, the token's infrastructure and market presence suggest it is not a scam, despite some early skepticism.
However, long-term success requires $PNUT to maintain relevance beyond its initial viral moment. The token's lack of utility and anonymous development team create sustainability challenges that may become more significant as market attention shifts to newer projects or different narratives.
The regulatory environment remains uncertain for memecoins generally, and $PNUT's political themes could attract additional scrutiny. While current legal challenges appear manageable, investors should monitor regulatory developments that could impact trading or exchange listings.
Despite these challenges, $PNUT demonstrates that viral storytelling combined with solid technical infrastructure can create significant market value in the cryptocurrency space. Whether this value proves sustainable depends on the community's ability to maintain engagement and find new narratives that keep the token relevant in an increasingly competitive meme token landscape.

Last year, the crypto world was stunned when a degen’s throwaway $16 bet on Peanut the Squirrel (PNUT) skyrocketed to $3 million in just under two weeks. While stories like these keep the hunt for the next 100x meme coin alive, crypto enthusiasts wonder if those life-changing gains are still within reach or if the window of opportunity has narrowed.
Web3 experts are now backing Snorter Token (SNORT) to produce these gains, as it’s showing high potential in presale, having raised over $1.2 million in less than a month of its official launch. SNORT is the utility token of Snorter Bot, a cutting-edge automated crypto trading bot on Telegram that allows users to snipe new tokens in milliseconds.
Snorter Bot will leverage Solana’s ultra-fast blockchain (which has handled roughly 72 million transactions in the past 24 hours) to deliver quick processing at very low fees.
You can buy SNORT for just $0.0963, but the window to lock in this price before an increase in the next presale round is limited.

Replace FOMO Trades With Snorter Bot’s Precision Crypto TradingSnorter Bot’s Telegram Interface Could Transform Crypto TradingHere’s Why Crypto Experts Predict 100x Growth for Snorter Token For everyday traders, replicating the perfect timing of meme coin millionaires is daunting. Tiny delays, emotional trades, or being unaware of a sudden pump can distinguish between catching a 100x run or missing out entirely.
This is where Snorter Bot comes in. The Snorter platform is specially built to put traders ahead of the curve. By automating split-second decisions and executing transactions faster than any human could, Snorter Bot will help ensure users never miss the window of opportunity. It will replace the need for guesswork with algorithmic speed and precision, so no impulsive FOMO buy or late exit will sabotage a trade.
While there are many Telegram trading bots, most only cater to Ethereum-based tokens and struggle with network congestion and high fees. In contrast, Snorter Bot is built on Solana’s lightning-fast infrastructure at a time when Solana is emerging as a hub for meme coins.
From a 20% throughput boost via bigger blocks to 100% network uptime in Q2 2025, Solana’s recent performance provides a robust backbone that perfectly suits Snorter Bot’s high-frequency trading use case.
Moreover, Snorter Bot’s deep integration with Telegram (home to countless crypto communities) puts it right where meme coin action happens.
Snorter Bot’s Telegram Interface Could Transform Crypto Trading Snorter Bot’s Telegram-based interface is designed to bypass the usual downsides of DEX trading, like lag, frontrunning bots, and malicious tokens, and keep users one step ahead. The bot can automatically snipe brand-new token launches the instant liquidity is added, giving users a first-mover advantage on hyped releases.
It also supports advanced features like limit orders to lock in profits or entry prices, so you don’t need to constantly track the charts.
Moreover, users can mirror the moves of successful whale wallets in real time with Snorter Bot’s copy trading tool. When a tracked wallet buys or sells an asset, Snorter Bot can automatically replicate the trade, essentially letting you ride on proven strategies.
Snorter Bot is built from the ground up with safeguards against common crypto traps. It has honeypot detection and rug pull alerts to flag scam tokens, and it protects users from frontrunning bots and other attacks that can manipulate prices.
Perhaps more importantly, the Snoter Bot platform charges SNORT token holders a lower 0.85% trading fee, one of the lowest rates in the crypto trading bot industry.
While Snorter Bot will launch on Solana first, it’s built for multi-chain use: support for Ethereum, Polygon, Base, and BNB Chain is planned after the launch. This flexibility means Snorter users can eventually deploy high-speed trading tactics across all major ecosystems from one interface.
Here’s Why Crypto Experts Predict 100x Growth for Snorter Token Holding and staking the SNORT token will unlock Snorter Bot’s full power (like lower trading fees and unlimited snipes). This built-in demand can give SNORT a fundamental value beyond its viral meme coin branding.
In fact, Snorter Bot’s roadmap highlights its plans to launch new DeFi partnerships, unlock community governance for SNORT holders, and continuously expand its trading ecosystem in the coming months. That’s why leading crypto experts like Jacob Crypto Bury believe Snorter Token could surge 100x once it hits exchanges.
Early buyers can purchase SNORT tokens for just $0.096 each before the next scheduled price increase kicks in.
To buy SNORT, visit the Snorter Bot Token’s official presale website and connect a compatible Web3 wallet (like Best Wallet). The website lets you swap SNORT using ETH, USDT, USDC, and BNB, and it even accepts traditional credit or debit cards for purchases.
After buying the tokens, presale buyers can immediately stake their tokens for an annual yield of up to 263%.

Peanut the Squirrel (PNUT), a Solana-based meme coin, surged more than 10% in price in just 24 hours. The rally followed a viral post from Elon Musk that drew attention to the project in a surprising way.
Elon Musk’s Epstein Remarks Coincides with PNUT Price Surge Musk posted a meme and message criticizing the lack of justice around the Epstein client list. His X post highlighted that “more squirrels and raccoons have been arrested” than anyone linked to Jeffrey Epstein.
He then referenced a squirrel named Peanut who was “arrested (and killed).” Although Musk didn’t mention PNUT directly, his post’s timing aligned with a surge in the coin’s price and trading volume.
The post quickly went viral, gathering over 4.5 million views in just a few hours. Traders appeared to connect the mention of “Peanut” with the meme token PNUT, leading to a wave of interest.
PNUT price jumped from around $0.2279 to $0.2357 shortly after the post. Volume also spiked by more than 80%, hitting over $214 million in 24 hours. PNUT’s market cap is now just above $235 million, with nearly 1 billion tokens in supply.
Source: CoinMarketCap Musk’s Peanut Post Showcases the Power of Viral Hype Peanut the Squirrel has gained a cult-like following in recent months. The project mixes humor and internet culture with Solana’s fast transaction speeds.
This isn’t the first time Musk has caused a meme coin to spike. His past tweets have fueled rallies in Dogecoin and Floki coins.
The market often reacts quickly when Musk references anything meme-related, even if it’s vague or indirect. The rise of PNUT price reflects how social media buzz still plays a huge role in crypto trading.
A single viral post can move millions of dollars. In this case, it was a political jab wrapped in humor that sent a Solana meme coin flying. Whether PNUT continues to climb depends on future interest and momentum.
For now, Musk’s post has given PNUT its biggest spotlight moment yet. Solana meme coins are once again proving they can move fast with just the right amount of hype.
Solana’s price action this year has followed a clear but uncomfortable pattern. After pushing to a new all-time high around the $296 region in January, the rally quickly lost momentum and transitioned into a steady decline that has persisted for months.
Many traders have attributed this weakness to a risk-off sentiment across crypto, but a deeper on-chain breakdown shared by crypto analyst Ardi on X suggests the story began well before the January peak and has more to do with who was buying and who was quietly exiting.
Distribution Was Already Underway Before The January Peak Solana has been on a clear downtrend since September, when it reached a lower high of around $247 compared to its January 19 all-time high of $293. One of the most important insights from Ardi’s analysis is that Solana’s January all-time high did not mark the start of distribution but rather the culmination of it.
The chart attached to his post shows that selling volume was already increasing months earlier, well ahead of October, meaning that large holders were positioning for exits long before price reached its final peak. From that perspective, the January high looks less like the beginning of a new expansion phase and more like the last push of a rally.
Source: Chart from Ardi on X After that point, price action began forming lower highs, and each rebound attempt lacked the strength needed to reclaim the all-time high. Interestingly, Solana failed to reach a new all-time high, even as other large market cap cryptos like Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and BNB pushed to new all-time highs during the year.
Another interesting feature of the data is the widening gap between retail behavior and that of larger players. Cumulative delta metrics on the chart show that retail-sized wallets have been consistently active throughout the year and are increasing their activity even as Solana’s price moved lower.
On the other hand, mid-sized and institutional wallets tell a very different story. Their activity has been trending downward for months, starting from the January peak and extending up until the time of writing.
Is Solana’s Price Becoming Dependent On Memecoin Activity? Ardi’s analysis also raises a broader question about what is currently driving demand for Solana. Outside of retail activity on Solana itself, one of the few consistent sources of activity has been the memecoin sector. Successes and booms of meme coins like Cat in a Dogs World (MEW), Peanut the Squirrel (PNUT), and Fartcoin (FARTCOIN), which gained traction in the second half of 2024, contributed to Solana’s push to all-time highs during those periods.
Those meme coin successes culminated with the launch of the Official Trump ($TRUMP) token in January 2025 on Solana, which experienced eye-watering gains shortly after its launch. This, in turn, contributed to Solana’s all-time high in January.
However, since then, the TRUMP token and other Solana-based meme coins have been trending downwards in recent months and no longer command the same level of attention or trading intensity they had this time last year. That has led to the view that Solana’s price is increasingly sensitive to the success of memecoins in its ecosystem.
At the time of writing, Solana is trading at $121.50, down by about 58.6% from its January all-time high of $293.

Phillip Banks, the artist behind the viral "Chill Guy" meme, has taken to Twitter to threaten legal action against meme coins using his art.
Solana meme coin CHILLGUY had peaked at a $500 million market cap. But in the two hours that followed Banks’ tweet, the price plummeted 54% to $220 million. It's now up to $375 million. CHILLGUY surged by over 400% on Wednesday; the token was created less than a week ago.
“Chill guy has been copyrighted. Like, legally. I'll be issuing takedowns on for-profit-related things over the next few days,” Banks posted on Twitter, after a brief hiatus from the platform.
As Chill Guy has become an internet sensation, big celebrities—from UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones to rapper Sexyy Red—and brands like classic Xbox franchise Halo have reposted the meme. This kind of usage the artist doesn’t mind, he said, but the creation of crypto coins crosses the line.
Banks said that he won't pursue action against "brand accounts using him as a trend," adding that it's "kinda something I don't really care about (I do just ask for credit or Xboxes).” He explained on Twitter that the usage he doesn’t like includes “mainly unauthorized merchandise and shitcoins.”
As the CHILLGUY meme coin roared throughout the week, Banks put his Twitter account on private and slammed crypto projects using his art. He claimed that his DMs and notifications were being bombarded with “crypto shit,” and that’s why he needed to take a brief break from the site.
Although that happened on Tuesday, it didn’t stop the CHILLGUY ascension as it rose from $11.45 million at the start of the day to a Wednesday peak of $510 million. On top of this, countless other tokens launched using Banks’ artwork or adjusting it to fit their needs—i.e. CHILWIFHAT, Not a Chill Guy (PHILLIP), and CHILLGIRL.
Despite this formal denouncement and threat from the Chill Guy art creator, some crypto exchanges have continued to list the token for trading on their platform. Crypto.com and Gate.io have already listed the token, while Binance’s Twitter account hinted at the possibility.
This situation echoes meme coin-fueled copyright feuds of the past. Most notably, Solana token Shark Cat (SC) used the image of an internet-famous kitten called Nala without its owners permission. This led to threats of legal action, but the two sides eventually settled outside of court with the cat owner coming to an agreement with the token team.
The CHILLGUY meme coin has created a donation wallet earmarked for Banks. At the time of writing, the wallet has $59,000 worth of Solana and nearly $240,000 worth of tokens—including $177,000 of CHILLGUY, $44,700 of REALLYCHILLGUY, and $2,500 of FWOG.
We are just 100,000 chill guys who appreciate your art @PhillipBankss
Donation wallet is set up, if you don't want the money we will donate it to a charity of your choice.
— just a chill guy cto (@chillguycto) November 21, 2024
But despite this, Banks appears uninterested. Instead, the artist claimed that the meme coin backlash has led to him being doxxed—meaning his real identity has been leaked. Some traders apologized for the behavior of their compatriots, while others continued the volley of slams.
"Karen vibes," one trader replied, citing the pejorative term. Banks has since turned his Twitter back to private.

The illustrator behind the viral “Chill Guy” meme is warning CHILLGUY holders that he plans to take legal action against the Solana (SOL)-based memecoin over copyright issues.
According to a new Decrypt report, Chill Guy creator Phillip Banks recently took to the social media platform X to threaten legal action against unauthorized, for-profit uses of his viral cartoon.

“just putting it out there, chill guy has been copyrighted. like, legally. I’ll be issuing takedowns on for-profit related things over the next few days.”
Phillip Banks has locked his X account since the post. Per a screenshot from X user TheDeFiApe, Banks plans on going after unauthorized merchandise and memecoins.
Source: TheDeFiApe/X Despite Banks’ protest, Crypto.com announced yesterday that the exchange was listing CHILLGUY. Gate.io, the tenth-largest crypto exchange by trading volume, also launched CHILLGUY trading yesterday as a “Pilot Section” project.
“CHILLGUY just launched on Gate.io’s Pilot Section and already skyrocketed 1065.01% in its first 24H!
From TikTok sensation to explosive memecoin – CHILLGUY showcases the incredible potential of Gate.io’s Pilot Section projects.”
Though the Chill Guy crypto project has yet to issue an official response, a meme posted to the memecoin’s X account this morning appears to be directed at Banks.
“Keep your crypto donations I’ll enjoy my Xbox.”
Source: chillguyx/X CHILLGUY is trading for $0.381 at time of writing, down 5.5% in the last 24 hours. Chill Guy is down 18.6% from its all-time high of $0.479, reached yesterday. Following Banks’ tweet, CHILLGUY fell about 54%. The extremely volatile memecoin was created less than seven days ago.
Solana meme coin Just a chill guy (CHILLGUY) price soared over 40% on Wednesday, defying the broader trend with backing from prominencies. Notably, Binance and some other top exchanges have announced support for the meme coin and MrBeast lauded the meme behind it. Simultaneously, with additional bullish on-chain metrics weighing in, the crypto has garnered significant interest among traders and investors in the market, as indicated by a roughly 25% surge in intraday trading volume.
CHILLGUY Gains Traction Amid Backing From Major Exchanges & MrBeast The meme coin ‘Just a chill guy’ rides an optimistic wave against the backdrop of Binance’s support and some other top crypto exchanges, such as Bybit and KuCoin, listing the token. In an X post, Binance launched perpetual contracts for the meme coin, with traders able to use up to 75x leverage.
Meanwhile, in an official X post dated November 27, KuCoin revealed that it is listing the coin, with deposits now open. Simultaneously, trading for the token is to commence on the same day, with the trading pair CHILLGUY/USDT being added to the platform.
In addition, the crypto exchange Bybit revealed listing the same trading pair mentioned above, with withdrawals starting at 10 AM UTC today. The update also revealed that Spot Grid Bots services will be supported for the token on the platform.
Overall, these listings have ignited an optimistic torrent for the Solana meme coin, paving the path for further investor interaction with the asset. Further, it’s also noteworthy that the coin could see further listings as it continues to gain market popularity.
Notably, the renowned American personality MrBeast took to X on November 26, reiterating that Just a chill guy is the “Biggest meme of our lifetimes.” This statement has added fuel to the optimistic fire for the crypto amid its phenomenal price gains.
However, it’s also noteworthy that the American millionaire was recently accused of partaking in crypto pump-and-dump schemes. Nevertheless, CoinGape Media reported MrBeast to have denied the crypto scam allegations, sparking discussions globally while also adding intrigue to the meme token.
Altogether, the abovementioned events have pushed the Solana meme coin to emerge as the talk of the crypto town, with remarkable gains witnessed in CHILLGUY price whilst the coin continues to eye further bullish movements.
Solana Meme Coin’s Price Rockets Notably, soon after the token’s inception into the crypto realm, it has offered investors remarkable gains. The coin trades whoppingly above its all-time low of $0.2164.
At the time of reporting, CHILLGUY price witnessed gains worth 40% intraday and is trading at $$0.622. Its 24-hour low and high were $0.4156 and $0.648, respectively. The coin’s trading volume witnessed a 23% surge from yesterday to $244.96 million. Moreover, the weekly chart for the crypto indicated gains worth 51%. This bullish trajectory has sparked substantial investor enthusiasm about the asset amid major backing.
Further, Lookonchain data on November 27 indicated that a trader ‘sbfonchain.sol’ sold massive amounts of WIF to buy $1 million of Just a chill guy coin. This data showed a heightened market interest in the asset while also bringing further buying pressure to the crypto.
Simultaneously, another trader, 9cSDZ, spent only $160 to buy 12.5 million CHILLGUY 12 days ago. To date, holding 9.62 million of the same token for a profit of $6.14 million, this trader has garnered further attention to the meme-themed coin. Overall, the abovementioned stats have solidified market optimism on the crypto’s long-term prospects.
However, it’s also worth noting that the crypto also faces risks due to legal action from Phillip Banks, the creator behind the original meme Just a chill guy. Notably, the meme creator expresses his unhappiness with his art usage in the crypto project, primarily for profit-making purposes.
Just a chill guy, a viral meme coin, continued its spectacular rally on Wednesday, helped by robust listings by some of the top crypto exchanges.
Just a chill guy (CHILLGUY) rose to a record high of $0.6575, pushing its market to almost $600 million. This valuation made it one of the best-performing meme coins in the industry. It has become bigger than other popular coins like SPX6900, Turbo, and Memecoin.
Exchange listings boost Just a chill guy This rally was mostly driven by the Fear of Missing out among traders and centralized exchange listings. Binance Futures listed the token on Nov. 27, giving it exposure to tens of millions of its customers. It listed it with a 75x leverage.
Other top exchanges that listed the coin were Bitget, KuCoin, Woo, and BitMart. Historically, cryptocurrencies rally after being listed by major exchanges. This happens as more traders buy them amid the FOMO.
Data shows that the 24-hour trading volume was $338 million, with most of it coming from Bybit, Gate, OrangeX, and Raydium. As such, this volume will likely increase sharply when the new exchanges are included.
Still, the CHILLGUY crypto faces some potential risks. First, the coin could replicate other recently launched hype tokens like Peanut the Squirrel and Act I The AI Prophecy, which went parabolic this month. The two have retreated sharply in the past few days and underperformed most meme coins.
Second, Just a chill guy’s creator has threatened to sue for the use of his creation for commercial purposes. Still, it is unclear whether the lawsuit would have a major impact since it is mostly traded on international exchanges.
just putting it out there, chill guy has been copyrighted. like, legally. I'll be issuing takedowns on for-profit related things over the next few days
— philb (@PhillipBankss) November 21, 2024 CHILLGUY smart money investors are selling Third, there are signs that smart money has started to book profits. Data by Nansen shows that the number of smart money wallets has dropped from 94 last week to about 71 today.
Transactions by smart money investors are a common signal of what some of the biggest holders are doing. More data by Nansen shows that the number of tokens in exchanges has jumped sharply in the past few days. It had over 76.61 million tokens, up by 727% from a week earlier, a sign that some investors have started to exit their trades.
As with most newly new tokens, there is a risk that it could pare back some of the initial gains amid profit-taking. The future price action will likely depend on the performance of Bitcoin (BTC), Solana (SOL), and other coins.

US Treasury Secretary: AI boom may boost productivity and help curb inflation.
US Treasury Secretary Bessent told CNBC in an interview that he hopes the Federal Reserve will remain "open-minded" about the inflation pattern after the reversal of Iran-related energy price hikes. Bessent noted that the U.S. could enter an economic environment marked by high GDP growth without a corresponding rise in traditional inflation. He cited that in the 1990s, Alan Greenspan foresaw that office modernization and the internet could drive non-inflationary growth, and allowed the economy to keep expanding. Bessent believes the U.S. has a strong chance of seeing a similar scenario again. When asked whether the Fed still needs to worry about potential inflation and whether interest rate cuts are possible this year or next, Bessent declined to comment. However, he argued that it is necessary to stay open-minded about the price or inflation impacts from the Iran conflict, and monitor inflation performance after those effects subside. Bessent also said an open mind is needed, as the AI boom could boost productivity and deliver disinflationary effects, helping inflation return to the Fed’s target level. He added that he believes Kevin Warsh will choose the optimal path that meets both the Fed’s inflation and growth mandates. Bessent also noted that Warsh previously took a hawkish stance on inflation.

On June 22, 2026, the US spot Bitcoin ETF market recorded net outflows of $68.18 million. This decline is explained by massive redemptions on BlackRock’s IBIT and Grayscale’s GBTC. These outflows completely overshadowed the positive performance of Ark Invest (+$64 million) and Fidelity (+$57.38 million). Above all, it reflects a strong polarization among institutional investors.
In Brief Bitcoin ETFs show a net loss of $68.18 million during the June 22, 2026 session. Ark Invest (ARKB) and Fidelity (FBTC) nonetheless attracted a combined inflow of $121.38 million, proving continued buying demand. Ethereum funds also recorded a decline of $66.38 million, while Bitwise’s XRP gained $5.31 million. The total net assets under management of Bitcoin ETFs reach $80.22 billion, confirming the structural anchoring of these products in institutional portfolios. Bitcoin ETFs Remain Under Pressure Despite Some Positive Signs At first glance, the session on June 22, 2026, in the US spot Bitcoin ETF market looks like an ordinarily bearish day. Analysts also reveal a record withdrawal of $6.35 billion over 30 days. However, SoSoValue’s data highlights a more complex reality: never before has a day in negative territory hidden so many active institutional purchases.
ARK & 21Shares lead the charge with $64 million in net inflows into their ARKB fund, closely followed by Fidelity’s Bitcoin ETF, which captured $57.38 million. Together, these two issuers have absorbed over $121 million in spot bitcoin.
Chart showing the evolution of Bitcoin ETF flows (Source: SoSoValue) Additional inflows include:
Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust: +$48.14 million Morgan Stanley’s MSBT: +$8.11 million Franklin Templeton’s EZBC: +$3.72 million WisdomTree’s BTCW: +$3.40 million In total, the aggregated demand from six ETF issuers exceeded $228 million. This represents one of the largest coordinated buying days in several weeks.
The Weight of BlackRock and Grayscale Tips the Bitcoin ETF Market Certainly, the buyer base remains solid. However, the Bitcoin ETF market was overwhelmed by extreme concentration of outflows on two specific investment vehicles.
The main culprit of this institutional Black Monday is BlackRock’s IBIT (iShares Bitcoin Trust). The asset management giant suffered massive outflows of $171.96 million in a single session. It had just launched the first-ever yield-bearing Bitcoin ETF.
Meanwhile, the GBTC (Grayscale Bitcoin Trust) records a disinvestment of $80.96 million. The manager tries to offset these losses through its Mini Trust. However, the historically high management fees of GBTC structurally encourage early investors to migrate to more competitive structures or take profits.
Beyond Bitcoin: Ethereum Stumbles, While XRP Surprises The spot Ethereum ETFs had an even tougher day. The data reveal a net loss of $66.38 million, almost entirely attributable to BlackRock’s ETHA fund. The only positive inflow on Ethereum that day came from 21Shares’ TETH, with $346,070 of inflows. The total net assets of Ethereum ETFs stand at $9.44 billion, with a daily volume of $433.10 million.
For crypto assets alternative to bitcoin, the XRP ETFs are the only source of color in an overall red picture. Bitwise captured $5.31 million, bringing the total net assets of the XRP category to $993.29 million. This represents a symbolic drop of $7 million from the billion-dollar mark. A threshold to watch in the coming sessions!
The Solana and HYPE ETFs remained completely inactive on this day. Solana’s assets stand at $836.09 million, and HYPE’s at $219.58 million.
In any case, this trading session highlights the end of the homogeneity of institutional flows on cryptocurrencies. Upcoming flow reports and US monetary policy decisions will be crucial to determine whether this phase of weakness marks a simple pause or the beginning of a new cycle for Bitcoin ETFs. Stay tuned…

The total value locked (TVL) across decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols has dropped sharply since the start of the year. According to CryptoRank data, the TVL in DeFi plunged from around $115 billion in January to $70 billion by the end of June. This represents a staggering $45 billion decline in just six months.
Decline persisted throughout the yearOn-chain analyses show that DeFi TVL decreased every month throughout 2026. Among the top ten blockchain networks, only Tron and Hyperliquid managed to achieve positive growth this year. TVL on the Tron network rose by roughly 5%, while Hyperliquid saw an increase of about 7%.
Tron’s growth was attributed to the network’s dominant role in USDT transfers and stablecoin settlements. Meanwhile, Hyperliquid’s rise was linked to its prominence in on-chain perpetual futures trading.
Mini glossary: Perpetual futures are derivative products without a set expiration date. To keep prices close to the spot market, a funding mechanism is usually used.
Of the top ten blockchains, Arbitrum experienced the steepest drop. Its TVL sank 55.3% to $1.3 billion. While Ethereum’s TVL fell 43% since January, it still led the DeFi space with $38.9 billion locked. Solana also declined 40.5% to $4.93 billion over the same period.
According to CryptoRank, DeFi’s TVL declined every month in 2026. Among major chains, only Tron and Hyperliquid remained in positive territory for the year.
Falling market caps added to the pressureDeFi outflows mirrored the broader cryptocurrency market’s correction. Data in the report shows bitcoin reached an all-time high above $122,000 in October 2025, with the total crypto market cap peaking at $4.21 trillion during the same period.
By the end of June, the total crypto market cap stood at $2.15 trillion, indicating a nearly 50% drop from last year’s peak. Bitcoin’s value is down more than 28% year-to-date. Ethereum has lost up to 43%, while BNB fell 33% and Solana tumbled 43.5% in the same timeframe.
Security breaches accelerated outflowsCryptoRank highlighted that this year’s high rate of security breaches contributed to the DeFi sector’s unraveling. Up to late June 2026, 121 attacks were recorded in the crypto industry, resulting in crypto losses totaling nearly $942 million. Of these, 85 incidents occurred in the second quarter alone, accounting for losses of around $775 million.
In the second quarter, KelpDAO lost $293 million after a vulnerability was exploited on a LayerZero-based cross-chain bridge. The Drift Protocol recorded $280 million in losses due to a separate security breach. Together, these two incidents made up about three-quarters of all recorded losses in the same period.
The KelpDAO attack also affected Aave. Hackers used stolen rsETH tokens with no underlying backing as collateral on Aave, borrowing funds and creating a gap in the protocol that proved difficult to recover. In the days following the incident, Aave’s TVL dropped from $26.4 billion to $14.3 billion—a 46% decline.

A crypto strategist known for making timely altcoin calls believes layer-1 protocol Sui (SUI) is gearing up to spark breakout rallies.
Pseudonymous analyst Bluntz tells his 274,600 followers on the social media platform X that SUI appears to have ignited a new bullish trend after printing a higher low setup amid the conclusion of an ABC corrective wave.

Bluntz relies on the Elliott Wave theory, which states that a bullish asset tends to witness a five-wave surge after completing an ABC corrective pattern.
The analyst shares a chart suggesting that SUI can rise to as high as $1.80 in the next few weeks.
“SUI back in a technical high timeframe uptrend again, higher lows and higher highs + key level taken out already.

Shiba Inu has once again been overlooked for a potential ETF launch in the United States.
The Cboe BZX Exchange seeks to list and trade shares of the Canary PENGU ETF. Yesterday, Cboe submitted its 19b-4 application to the U.S. SEC.
According to the filing, Cboe has indicated its interest in listing and trading shares of the Canay PENGU ETF, which aims to provide investors with indirect exposure to the Solana-based meme coin. Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas also confirmed the development in an X post.
The Canary PENGU ETF, the first and only spot pudgy penguin filing, just got its 19b-4 filing via CBOE. On clock soon. pic.twitter.com/852jIPtuvF
— Eric Balchunas (@EricBalchunas) June 25, 2025
Canary PENGU ETF This comes three months after Canary first submitted its S-1 application to launch the PENGU ETF in the U.S. The proposed spot-based exchange-traded fund seeks to invest primarily in the PENGU token and Pudgy Penguins NFTs.
Moreover, the Canary PENGU ETF will hold other digital assets, such as Solana and Ethereum. Notably, this move aims to facilitate the sale and purchase of the ETF’s core holdings, PENGU and Pudgy Penguins NFTs.
While Canary sponsors the ETF, CSC Delaware Trust will be the fund’s trustee. Like most crypto-focused ETFs, the Canary PENGU ETF will be structured as a commodity-based product.
Regulatory Process Commences Notably, Cboe has backed Canary’s PENGU ETF application with a 19b-4 filing, officially commencing the regulatory process for the ETF. Per the filing, Cboe seeks to list and trade shares of the Canary PENGU ETF under BZX Rule 14.11(e)(4).
In the meantime, the SEC is expected to acknowledge the application within two weeks of filing. Afterward, the commission will schedule four separate deadlines to decide whether to reject or approve it.
Shiba Inu Overlooked Despite Growing Demand for SHIB ETF This development comes as asset managers continue to bypass Shiba Inu, focusing instead on other meme coins as potential candidates for spot ETFs.
Firms have submitted ETF applications for Dogecoin (DOGE), Pudgy Penguins (PUDGY), Official Trump (TRUMP), Bonk (BONK), and Official Melania Meme (MELANIA).
However, they have consistently overlooked Shiba Inu, despite calls from its community for a SHIB ETF. As previously reported, the Shiba Inu community petitioned Grayscale on Change.org, urging the digital asset manager to introduce an ETF tied to SHIB. The petition has attracted 11,700 signatures since its introduction last year.
In an effort to attract asset managers, Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, Lucie, published a post on X earlier this year, highlighting why SHIB is worth an ETF. She cited the token’s broad accessibility, resistance to manipulation, and community-driven growth.
Despite these efforts, asset managers have largely continued to overlook Shiba Inu as a potential ETF candidate, favoring other meme coins instead.
Meanwhile, Shiba Inu’s popularity in the meme coin niche and the broader crypto market has continued to grow. It currently ranks as the 19th-largest crypto and the second-largest meme coin, with a market capitalization of $6.88 billion.

PANews reported on March 9th that, according to CoinDesk, global insurance brokerage giant Aon, in collaboration with Coinbase and Paxos, has completed a proof-of-concept test of stablecoin premium payments, using USDC (Ethereum) and PayPal USD (PYUSD, Solana) to settle insurance premiums. Aon stated that this is the first time a major global insurance brokerage has used stablecoins in premium settlement. Currently, cross-border premium settlements largely rely on bank clearing, which takes several days. This test aims to evaluate the potential advantages of on-chain payments in terms of settlement efficiency, cost, and transparency, and to prepare for the future introduction of stablecoins into the existing financial system, against the backdrop of the US passing the Genius Act, which establishes a federal regulatory framework for stablecoin issuers.
In a single 24-hour stretch, roughly 42,000 new tokens appeared on Solana. The overwhelming majority were minted through Pump.fun, the no-code launchpad that has quietly become one of the most prolific token factories in crypto history.
That number is staggering on its own. For context, Pump.fun has facilitated over 11.9 million token launches since it went live on January 19, 2024, and has accounted for as much as 83% of all Solana token launches on its busiest days.
The Pump.fun machine Pump.fun’s pitch is deceptively simple: anyone can create a token without writing a single line of code. The platform uses bonding curves to enable instantaneous trading the moment a token is born, meaning there’s no waiting period, no liquidity bootstrapping phase, and virtually no barrier to entry.
That frictionless design has turned into a revenue machine. Cumulative revenue generated by the platform exceeds $800 million, all from a modest 1% trading fee.
The platform’s business model got even more ambitious in July 2025, when Pump.fun launched its own native PUMP token through an ICO that raised approximately $1.3 billion. That figure included around $600 million from public contributions and roughly $700 million from private investors.
More recently, in May 2026, Pump.fun introduced USDC trading pairs for new token launches. The idea is straightforward: pairing freshly minted tokens against a stablecoin instead of solely against SOL gives traders a more stable denominator.
The survival rate problem Fewer than 2% of tokens created on Pump.fun ever graduate to decentralized exchanges like Raydium. That means for every hundred tokens minted, roughly 98 of them never achieve enough traction, liquidity, or community interest to move beyond the bonding curve stage.
Pump.fun has consistently hovered in the 71% to 83% range of all Solana token launches on peak activity days.
What this means for investors For traders who thrive on volatility, this environment offers exactly what they’re looking for. Early entries into tokens that do manage to graduate to DEXs can produce outsized returns in compressed timeframes. But the math is unforgiving: with a sub-2% graduation rate, the overwhelming majority of bets placed on newly launched Pump.fun tokens will go to zero.
The introduction of USDC trading pairs adds an interesting wrinkle. By decoupling new token prices from SOL’s own volatility, Pump.fun is making participation slightly more palatable for traders who want speculative exposure without the added variable of their base currency swinging 5% to 10% in a day.

Quick Answer: Creating a meme coin on Solana in 2026 takes less than 10 minutes and costs under $1 using Pump.fun or LetsBONK.fun — no coding required. Connect a Phantom or Solflare wallet with a small amount of SOL, go to your chosen launchpad, fill in your token name, ticker, supply, and image, then deploy. Your token is immediately tradeable on the platform’s bonding curve and graduates to PumpSwap or Raydium once it hits the liquidity threshold. Creating the token is trivial; building the community and liquidity that make it survive beyond launch day is where most projects fail.
Key Takeaways Solana is the dominant meme coin chain in 2026 — ultra-low fees (~0.000005 SOL per transaction), 400ms block times, and an ecosystem purpose-built for token speculation Pump.fun remains the most widely used launchpad; LetsBONK.fun overtook it in market share in mid-2025 (66.5% vs 22%), offering higher creator revenue (0.1% vs 0.05%) Creating a meme coin costs under 0.1 SOL (~$15) on launchpads; manual SPL token creation with Raydium liquidity requires ~0.8 SOL+ Only ~1.5% of Pump.fun tokens ever “graduate” (hit the $69K liquidity threshold to move from bonding curve to PumpSwap) — the vast majority become worthless within hours A Phantom or Solflare wallet is required; fund it with at least 0.5–1 SOL before starting Key post-launch success factors: Twitter/Telegram community, influencer mentions, DEXScreener trending status, and ideally an Elon Musk or celebrity reference in the concept Meme coin creation carries significant financial risk — most tokens go to zero; never invest more than you can afford to lose entirely Why Solana Is the #1 Meme Coin Chain in 2026 Solana became the default chain for meme coin creation for three structural reasons:
Speed: Solana processes transactions in 400 milliseconds with ~400,000 TPS capacity — fast enough that buying a new meme coin token feels as instant as clicking a button, critical for the “ape in early” psychology that drives meme coin speculation.
Cost: Transaction fees on Solana are approximately $0.000005 — essentially free. Creating a token costs under $1 on launchpads. Compare this to Ethereum where gas fees alone can exceed $50–$200 for token deployments.
Ecosystem: Pump.fun, LetsBONK.fun, PumpSwap, Raydium, Jupiter, DEXScreener, and DexTools are all deeply integrated with Solana, creating a seamless pipeline from token creation to trading discovery to viral distribution.
As blockchainreporter has reported, Pump.fun tokens dominate Solana DEXScreener charts — all top 10 trending Solana coins on DEXScreener in a single day were launched through Pump.fun, with Introvert Coin posting a 1,508% gain within 11 hours of launch.
What You Need Before You Start 1. A Solana wallet
Phantom (phantom.app) — most popular; browser extension and mobile app Solflare — alternative with strong hardware wallet support Backpack — newer option popular with advanced users Install the browser extension or mobile app, create a new wallet, and back up your seed phrase securely — this is non-negotiable.
2. SOL for fees
Launchpad creation (Pump.fun / LetsBONK.fun): ~0.02–0.1 SOL Initial liquidity (optional but recommended): 0.5–2 SOL+ Manual SPL token creation + Raydium liquidity pool: ~0.8–1.5 SOL Buy SOL on Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, or directly via MoonPay inside Phantom 3. Token assets
Token name (e.g., “DogeFather”, “BabyPepe”, “Musk Inu”) Ticker symbol (3–6 characters, e.g., DGFR, BPEPE, MINU) Token image (PNG or GIF, ideally 500×500px — this is your most important branding asset) Short description (1–2 sentences for the launchpad listing) Social links (Twitter/X, Telegram — set these up before launch) 4. Concept The meme concept is more important than any technical detail. In 2026, winning themes include: animal memes (dogs, cats, frogs), celebrity parodies (Elon Musk, Trump, AI figures), current viral events, internet culture references, and AI-themed names. Research trending Twitter hashtags and Reddit threads before finalizing your concept.
Method 1: Create a Meme Coin on Pump.fun (No-Code, Fastest) Pump.fun is the default starting point for most meme coin creators. It handles smart contracts, bonding curve pricing, and initial liquidity automatically — no coding required.
How Pump.fun works:
Every token launches on a bonding curve: price increases as more people buy, decreasing as they sell When a token reaches $69,000 in liquidity, it “graduates” — the bonding curve ends and the token migrates to PumpSwap (Pump.fun’s native DEX, launched March 2025) with a locked LP As blockchainreporter reported, PumpSwap launched with zero migration fees (down from 6 SOL), instant migrations, improved liquidity, and creator revenue sharing Step-by-step:
Step 1: Go to pump.fun and connect your wallet Navigate to pump.fun in your browser. Click “Connect Wallet” and select Phantom or Solflare. Approve the connection in your wallet pop-up.
Step 2: Click “Create a new coin” Located on the homepage. You’ll see a token creation form.
Step 3: Fill in your token details
Name — your meme coin’s full name Ticker — 3–6 character symbol Description — 1–3 sentences; include references that will resonate with your target community Image — upload your token logo (PNG/GIF, square format recommended) Twitter/X link — strongly recommended; copy directly from your new account Telegram link — strongly recommended; set up a group before launch Website — optional but adds credibility Step 4: Set your initial buy (optional but important) Pump.fun allows you to buy a portion of the supply immediately at launch, before anyone else can. This provides initial liquidity and signals creator confidence. Even 0.1–0.5 SOL here shows community commitment — but be aware this also means you hold tokens at risk.
Step 5: Click “Create coin” and confirm in your wallet Pump.fun charges approximately 0.02 SOL (~$3) as a creation fee. Confirm the transaction in your Phantom/Solflare wallet. Your token is now live on the Solana blockchain.
Step 6: Share your token page immediately Your token’s Pump.fun page URL is your primary marketing asset in the first hour. Post it on Twitter/X, Telegram, and relevant Discord servers immediately. The first 30 minutes after launch are critical — bonding curve tokens that don’t attract buyers quickly become dormant.
Method 2: Create a Meme Coin on LetsBONK.fun LetsBONK.fun overtook Pump.fun as Solana’s largest meme coin launchpad in market share during mid-2025. As blockchainreporter reported, LetsBONK.fun captured 66.5% of Solana’s memecoin launchpad market while Pump.fun fell to 22%.
Key advantages over Pump.fun:
Higher creator revenue: 0.1% per trade vs Pump.fun’s 0.05% BONK token integration: BONK holders receive additional benefits Slightly different community: tends to attract a different speculator base than Pump.fun Process: Nearly identical to Pump.fun — connect wallet, fill in token details, set initial buy, deploy. The UI is similar enough that anyone familiar with Pump.fun can use LetsBONK.fun within minutes.
Method 3: Create an SPL Token Manually (More Control) For creators who want full control over supply distribution, liquidity, and token authorities, the manual SPL token route via Smithii or Solana Token Creator is the better choice.
Why choose manual SPL creation:
Control over initial token distribution (airdrops, presales, team allocation) Ability to launch directly on Raydium with custom liquidity amounts Revoke mint and freeze authorities for increased trust and rugpull resistance Not limited to Pump.fun’s bonding curve structure Tools needed:
Smithii.io — Solana Token Creator with LP creation, no coding required Raydium (raydium.io) — for creating your liquidity pool Phantom or Solflare wallet with 0.8–1.5 SOL General steps:
Go to Smithii’s Solana Token Creator Enter token name, symbol, supply (typically 1 billion tokens for meme coins), decimals (6 recommended for SOL meme coins), and image Configure authorities: consider revoking freeze authority (prevents anyone from freezing wallets) and mint authority (prevents new tokens from being minted) — these improve community trust Deploy the token (fee ~0.1–0.3 SOL) Create a Raydium liquidity pool pairing your token with SOL Optionally burn your LP tokens to demonstrate permanence Launchpad Comparison 2026 PlatformCreation CostCreator RevenueGraduation TargetDEX After GraduationBest ForPump.fun~0.02 SOL0.05% per trade$69K liquidityPumpSwapFastest launch, widest audienceLetsBONK.fun~0.02 SOL0.1% per tradeSimilarRaydium/PumpSwapHigher creator yield, BONK communityPumpup.ai~Lower than PumpAI discovery toolsSimilarRaydiumAI-powered trending toolsSmithii / Manual SPL~0.8–1.5 SOL total100% controlN/A (direct Raydium)Raydium from day 1Full control, custom distribution Pumpup.ai emerged as a second major Solana meme coin launchpad, offering AI-powered hot lists and approximately 16 SOL lower liquidity costs per token than Pump.fun.
After Launch: What Determines Success or Failure The token creation itself is the easy part. Over 2 million tokens were launched on Pump.fun in 2025; only ~1.5% graduated. Here’s what separates the few that survive from the overwhelming majority that go to zero within hours:
Twitter/X Community Post your token immediately on Twitter/X with a dedicated account. Crypto Twitter influencers (KOLs) with audiences in the 50K–500K range are the primary viral distribution vector for Solana meme coins. Even one retweet from an active crypto account can 10–100x volume overnight.
Telegram Group Create a Telegram community before launch. A token with an active, growing Telegram group signals social proof to potential buyers on Pump.fun or DEXScreener. Use a pinned message with token details, contract address, and buy link.
DEXScreener Trending DEXScreener (dexscreener.com) is the primary discovery tool for Solana meme coin traders. When your token trends on DEXScreener’s “Hot Pairs” or “New Pairs” lists, volume spikes dramatically. High transaction count and consistent buy activity are the metrics that drive trending placement.
Volume and Bot Activity Many creators use volume bots (legal, available through tools like Smithii) to simulate transaction activity and boost trending scores. While controversial, this is standard practice in the Solana meme coin market and can be the difference between a token being discovered and being ignored.
Influencer Mentions Elon Musk, Donald Trump, or any major celebrity mentioning a meme concept — even indirectly — can drive explosive short-term demand. Many creators specifically build tokens around trending celebrity names or events for this reason. Note: using real celebrity names or trademarks carries legal risk in many jurisdictions.
Narrative Timing The most successful Solana meme coins launch during or immediately after a viral news event. Having a concept ready to deploy in minutes when a major meme breaks is a strategic advantage.
Risks and What to Expect Realistically Most tokens fail. On July 30, 2025, 2,008 meme coins were created on Pump.fun; only 31 graduated (~1.54%). The overwhelming majority of tokens lose all value within 24–72 hours as initial buyers take profits and liquidity drains.
Rugpull risk. Meme coin markets are full of bad actors who create tokens, drive initial hype, and then sell all their holdings (“rug pull”) — collapsing the price and leaving other holders with worthless tokens. As a creator, never sell all your holdings abruptly and be transparent about your allocations.
Regulatory risk. Launching a token that resembles a security (promises of profit, investment returns) can attract regulatory attention. In 2026, US and EU regulators have become more active in pursuing meme coin creators who make explicit profit promises.
Tax implications. In most jurisdictions, creating a token and selling it is a taxable event. Trading profits from meme coins are typically subject to capital gains tax. Maintain records of all transactions.
Frequently Asked Questions How much does it cost to create a meme coin on Solana in 2026? Using Pump.fun or LetsBONK.fun, the cost is approximately 0.02–0.05 SOL (~$3–$8) for the token creation fee alone. If you add an initial buy to provide early liquidity, budget 0.5–2 SOL total. For manual SPL token creation with a Raydium liquidity pool, expect ~0.8–1.5 SOL minimum. All costs exclude the capital you allocate to initial liquidity.
Do I need coding skills to create a meme coin on Solana? No. Pump.fun, LetsBONK.fun, and Smithii's no-code token creator allow anyone to deploy a Solana meme coin with zero programming knowledge. You need only a wallet, SOL for fees, and a token concept with image.
What is the difference between Pump.fun and LetsBONK.fun? Both are Solana meme coin launchpads using bonding curve mechanics, but LetsBONK.fun offers higher creator revenue (0.1% per trade vs 0.05%) and integrates with the BONK token ecosystem. As of mid-2025, LetsBONK.fun held 66.5% of Solana launchpad market share versus Pump.fun's 22%. Process and cost are nearly identical.
What does "graduation" mean on Pump.fun? Graduation refers to a token reaching $69,000 in cumulative liquidity on its bonding curve, triggering automatic migration to PumpSwap (Pump.fun's native DEX) with the LP locked. Approximately 1.5% of Pump.fun tokens graduate. Most tokens never graduate and lose all value before reaching this threshold.
Can my meme coin make me money? Meme coins are highly speculative. A small number of Solana meme coins have returned 1,000x or more to early holders; the vast majority return zero. Success depends almost entirely on community growth, timing, and viral distribution — not on technical factors. Never invest funds you cannot afford to lose entirely.
