INJ je nyní dostupný v peněžence Phantom
INJ Injective SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
@Injective Protocol ($INJ) has gone live on @Phantom, bringing one of the fastest-growing Layer 1 DeFi networks directly into the wallet that dominates the Solana ecosystem. The integration marks a meaningful step in making $INJ accessible to a far broader retail audience.

What the Integration Offers $INJ holders can now hold, trade, borrow, and exchange tokens directly through the Phantom browser extension or mobile app, with no additional setup required. Previously, accessing Injective's trading and tokenization tools typically involved navigating separate interfaces or bridging assets across chains. That friction is now removed for Phantom users.

Injective is built as an interoperable Layer 1 blockchain designed for Web3 finance, offering decentralized trading, smart contracts, on-chain governance, low fees, and asset bridging. Because it is built on the Cosmos SDK, it operates differently from standard EVM-compatible chains, which has historically made wallet support more complex to implement.

A Major Distribution Unlock for $INJ The choice of Phantom as an integration target is significant. Phantom is the most recognizable Solana wallet and holds 39.4% of the Solana wallet market, the largest single share among self-custody options on the network. The wallet previously closed a $150 million Series C round at a $3 billion valuation, backed by Sequoia Capital and Paradigm, at the time reporting 15 million monthly active users and $25 billion in self-custodied assets.

Through the integration, users can also access core Injective products such as Injective Hub and popular decentralized applications including Helix, all from within the familiar Phantom interface. For $INJ, this shifts the token from a more niche, chain-specific asset into one that sits comfortably inside the daily workflow of millions of Solana users.

The move reflects a broader trend of Layer 1 networks competing for wallet-level distribution, where embedding into high-traffic interfaces has become as important as raw on-chain performance.

Solana schválila zdvojnásobení tempa disinflace v prvním hlasování
JTO Jito Network SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 86
Original source text
Solana just took the most historic step in its governance history: its first real on-chain vote, where any SOL holder — not just validators — could weigh in on the network's constitution, inflation and fees. Camila Russo sits down with Nick Almond, Head of Governance at the Jito Foundation, right as that shift collides with a new threat: Robinhood's own chain moving in on meme coins, the one corner of crypto that was always Solana's. Nick breaks down how the vote actually played out — including the disinflation proposal that was decided with eight seconds left after Kraken flipped its vote — how JitoSOL swung its entire stake pool with a 13% quorum trigger, and why he still thinks Solana's shot at attracting new apps, from tokenized stocks to meme coins, is stronger than people give it credit for. How JitoSOL Swung Solana's Governance VoteJito Foundation's head of governance says a liquid-staking override mechanism decided Solana's closest on-chain vote, as validators confront an 87% revenue decline and rising competition from Robinhood Chain.

Solana's proposal to double the network's disinflation rate passed by 0.334 percentage points above the two-thirds threshold it needed, and it would have failed without a mechanism that let holders of Jito's liquid staking token vote independently of the validators holding their stake, according to Nick Almond, head of governance at the Jito Foundation.

"We got 13% of the TVL in the end and the whole JitoSOL stake pool voted during the actual on-chain vote," Almond said in an interview on The Defiant Podcast, describing roughly 10 million SOL, then worth close to $1 billion, that Jito directed toward the proposal known as SGP-0002.

The vote was one of three that closed on August 28, in the first binding governance referendum Solana validators have held since the network's constitution went live earlier that month. Solana Validators Approve Doubling Disinflation in First Governance Vote, With Kraken Reversing Late SGP-0002 doubles the rate at which Solana's annual issuance shrinks, moving the network's terminal inflation rate of 1.5% up by roughly three years, to early 2029. It passed with 67.001% of votes cast in favor, against a required 66.667% supermajority. A separate proposal to split Solana's flat transaction fee into resource and inclusion components failed to clear the same threshold and has gone back to the proposal stage, Almond said.

A mechanism built for liquid stakingJito built the override under a proposal called JIP-30, ratified last year, which lets holders of JitoSOL, the network's largest liquid staking token, signal a vote preference during a window that opens roughly three epochs before validators cast theirs. If at least 10% of JitoSOL's total value locked participates, the stake pool casts its entire holding as a single bloc, reflecting how those holders voted, rather than leaving the decision to the roughly 350 validators the pool dynamically delegates to.

"What this allows is basically any Sol holder that's staked their Sol can vote individually," Almond said, describing the broader voter-override rule that Solana's new constitution established for all stake accounts, not just JitoSOL. "For me, that really decentralizes the network out to almost the individual level."

Almond recalled the count flipping in the vote's final seconds. On-chain vote tallies show the swing came earlier: with roughly 70 minutes left before the epoch closed, the yes side was still about 58 million SOL short of the threshold, until a reversal by Kraken's validator, which flipped roughly 8.1 million SOL, combined with JitoSOL's bloc vote to push the proposal over the line.

The proposal compresses margins for staking providers, including exchanges such as Kraken, that pass through a share of Solana's inflation rewards to customers. "We're asking them to earn less money by being staking providers," Almond said. "So you can imagine the rational economic actors in the network don't necessarily want that to happen."

Fewer validators, same decentralization argumentSolana's validator count has fallen to around 700 from roughly 1,000, Almond said, a trend he attributed to rising hardware requirements as the network pushes for bigger blocks and shorter block times. He argued that measuring decentralization by validator count alone misses how concentrated stake already is on other networks. "If you actually look at it critically and look where the stake is actually living on both chains, it's almost exactly the same," Almond said of Solana and Ethereum, adding that a comparison he ran recently found the two networks' validator stake similarly distributed across data centers geographically.

The first of the three August proposals, SGP-0001, ratified the Solana Constitution that created the voting framework itself, passing with 85.97% support on 51.96% turnout of eligible stake. Solana Launches Onchain Governance With Stake-Weighted Voting for Validators It replaced an earlier, off-chain process that produced Solana's first major economic vote in 2025, SIMD-228, a proposal to cut inflation that failed after opposition from smaller validators despite backing from large stakeholders including Multicoin Capital. Solana Community Rejects SIMD-228 Proposal to Reduce Token Emissions Almond said that failed vote was one of the reasons he moved to Solana from prior DAO governance work 18 months ago.

Revenue down 87%, and Robinhood Chain closing inSolana's network revenue fell 87% year-over-year in the first half of 2026, to $141 million from $1.09 billion, as memecoin trading's share of the network's spot volume dropped to 16% from 40% over the same period, according to a report published by 21Shares. Almond attributed part of the decline to a deliberate tradeoff: Solana has roughly tripled block sizes over the past year, he said, which lowers competition for block space and reduces priority fees and Jito's own MEV tips, both major components of network revenue.

"The network intentionally is compressing its own margins," Almond said. "We're trying to build a network that can swallow 10x the demand or 50x the demand."

Solana faces a new competitor for the tokenized-equities trading it has courted: Robinhood Chain, the Arbitrum-based layer 2 that Robinhood Markets launched this year. Robinhood Chain's gas fees rose 82-fold over 11 days in early September, briefly exceeding those of Ethereum, Solana and Tron combined on a single day. Robinhood Chain Gas Fees Jump 82-Fold In 11 Days To Top Every Other Chain Almond said Robinhood built its own chain, rather than deploying on Solana, to capture sequencer revenue directly. "They get to own their rails to a degree where they can capture the rents on the chain as much as possible," he said, noting Robinhood's fees have run higher than Ethereum mainnet's despite it operating as a layer 2.

Almond said Solana's SGP-0003 fee proposal, which failed in August after developers of applications including the perpetuals exchange Phoenix warned it could raise their operating costs, is likely to return in smaller pieces. He also pointed to buyback-and-burn programs, including one Jito plans to route its own revenue lines through next year, as the more active lever protocols are using to tie token value to network activity while the fee debate continues.

SOL traded at $99.48 on Thursday, up 2.4% over 24 hours and down 1.7% over the past week, according to CoinGecko. Jito's JTO token traded at $0.4254, up 3.4% over 24 hours. Jito's total value locked stood at just over $1 billion, according to DefiLlama.

AI odhalila chybu v Solana SIMD-0376
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Solana’s ongoing effort to modernize its signature verification system just hit a speed bump, and it came from an unexpected source: an autonomous AI research agent.

The agent, operating under the alias @hackhackai on the Solana blockchain, identified a potential vulnerability in SIMD-0376, a proposal designed to reform how the network handles transaction signature verification. The flaw, if left unaddressed, could allow signing at the zero address, putting 433 metadata accounts at risk.

What SIMD-0376 actually proposes Currently, Solana verifies Ed25519 signatures using the ed25519-dalek library. SIMD-0376 wants to replace that with a ZIP-215 cofactored EdDSA verification standard, a different implementation of the same underlying cryptographic curve.

The practical upside of the switch is real. The proposal aims to enable batch signature processing, which could reduce computational costs for validators by around 40% when handling large volumes of signatures.

David Rubin from Syndica introduced the proposal on October 6, 2025. It was subsequently refined and merged into the Solana Improvement Documents repository on January 28, 2026.

The zero-address problem The vulnerability @hackhackai surfaced centers on a specific edge case introduced by the ZIP-215 standard: the possibility of signing with or for the zero address. Under normal Ed25519 rules, such a signature would be outright rejected. Under ZIP-215’s more permissive verification logic, it may not be.

That permissiveness is actually intentional in ZIP-215’s design. The standard was built to accept a broader range of valid signature representations, which makes batch processing more straightforward. The tradeoff is that it also relaxes certain boundary checks that previously served as implicit security guardrails.

The result, according to @hackhackai’s findings, is that 433 metadata accounts linked to the Solana ecosystem could be exposed to signing operations that should never be possible.

Hackhackai describes itself as an AI-focused research agent built specifically to isolate vulnerabilities in Solana protocols.

Why the timing matters The proposal was introduced in October 2025, merged in January 2026, and the zero-address vulnerability surfaced without meaningful coverage from mainstream crypto news outlets in the months that followed.

The metadata accounts flagged in @hackhackai’s findings are not generic user wallets. Metadata accounts in Solana’s architecture typically store program-level data, token configurations, or NFT attributes. A signing anomaly affecting these accounts could, in a worst-case scenario, enable unauthorized modifications to program state or asset ownership records, depending on how individual programs handle incoming signed instructions.

For developers building on Solana, particularly those whose programs interact with metadata accounts, the practical question is whether their instruction validation logic assumes current Ed25519 rejection behavior or explicitly checks for zero-address inputs. Programs written before SIMD-0376 was proposed would have no reason to include the latter check, since it was never needed.

The proposal’s authors and the Solana Foundation have not publicly commented on the flaw as of the time of writing.

Jupiter Exchange umožňuje nativní INJ swapy na Solaně
INJ Injective JUP Jupiter SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
INJ, the native token of the Injective protocol, is now swappable on Jupiter Exchange, giving Solana users direct access to the asset without needing wrapped versions or cross-chain workarounds. The integration went live on September 17, 2026, powered by Injective’s deployment on Solana through the Sunrise bridge.

How the integration works Jupiter’s routing engine aggregates liquidity from more than 20 Solana DEXes, including Raydium, Orca, and Meteora. When a user swaps SOL or any SPL token for INJ, Jupiter scans those venues to find the best available execution path.

The key detail: this is native INJ on Solana, not a wrapped derivative. The Sunrise bridge handles the cross-chain plumbing, minting INJ as an SPL token that behaves like any other asset in the Solana ecosystem. Users can hold it in Phantom, trade it on Raydium, or route swaps through Jupiter’s interface.

Jupiter’s Ultra mode layers on additional features for the swap experience, including auto-slippage adjustment and MEV protection. Auto-slippage dynamically sets tolerance based on market conditions, while MEV protection shields traders from sandwich attacks.

Raydium is listed as a launch partner, with additional DEX integrations expected to follow.

What this means for Injective and Solana Jupiter itself has come a long way since its October 2021 launch as a simple swap aggregator. The platform now offers perpetual contracts, lending services, and its own governance token, JUP, and its aggregation layer covers thousands of SPL tokens across more than 20 Solana DEXes.

Column spouští stablecoinovou bankovní infrastrukturu na Solaně
SOL Solana USDC USD Coin
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Stablecoins are moving closer to traditional financial infrastructure as Column, a federally chartered U.S. bank with $1.77B in assets, launches native stablecoin banking rails.

The bank now supports $USDC and $USDT conversions between crypto networks and fiat currencies around the clock, with Solana serving as its default blockchain alongside Ethereum and other major networks. Column says the system already processes tens of billions of dollars in annualized volume.

The move comes as financial institutions, fintech companies, and regulators continue to debate how stablecoins will fit into the global payments system.

Stablecoins Integrated Into Banking Core  Stablecoins have traditionally depended on multiple layers between blockchain networks and traditional banking systems. A user receiving stablecoins might need to wait for banking hours, rely on prefunded accounts, or move funds through third-party providers before accessing dollars.

Column built stablecoins directly into its banking core instead. The company says stablecoin addresses and bank accounts live on the same ledger, letting customers convert $USDC and $USDT into fiat instantly without relying on intermediaries or maintaining prefunded balances.

Customers can receive $USDC on Solana on a weekend and send dollars through payment networks such as RTP immediately. They can also debit traditional bank accounts through ACH, send stablecoins to wallets, or convert digital dollars into international payments through systems such as SWIFT.

"Stablecoins aren't a crypto product. They're dollar infrastructure, and their usefulness is a function of the network beneath them: how fast it settles, what it costs, and its reliability. Column made them native to a bank with Solana as the default network, and moved the frontier of financial services from theory into production." - Amelia Daly, head of partnerships, Solana Foundation

Why Solana Matters for Stablecoin Payments Solana has become a major network for stablecoin activity. A Solana Foundation report highlighted how stablecoins could reshape remittances by reducing settlement times and lowering costs in international money transfers.

Traditional remittances often involve fees, multi-day settlement periods, and large amounts of capital locked in prefunded accounts. The report noted that sending $200 internationally costs an average of 6.49%, while settlement can take 3 to 5 business days.

The report argues that stablecoins on high-speed blockchains can enable faster, more efficient payment flows, especially for users in regions with limited access to traditional financial services.

Stablecoins Enter the Broader Banking Stack Column launched its stablecoin product after observing the challenges of building stablecoin payment experiences, with fintech companies including Slash and Brex already using it.

The company also introduced additional financial products, including full-stack card issuing, global banking accounts, and multicurrency accounts with local payout capabilities.

For stablecoin-backed cards, Column says companies can authorize spending against actual stablecoin balances rather than relying on prefunded capital. It also supports settlement with Visa and Mastercard through stablecoins without requiring additional fiat settlement accounts.

The broader goal is to allow companies to build financial products through a single banking integration instead of combining multiple banks, processors, and infrastructure providers.

Stablecoin Regulation Remains a Key Debate Column’s launch arrives during ongoing U.S. policy discussions around stablecoins. Banking groups have urged lawmakers to place stricter limits on stablecoin rewards, arguing that certain programs could encourage customers to move deposits away from traditional banks.

The debate formed part of discussions around the proposed CLARITY Act, which focused on establishing a regulatory framework for digital assets. The legislation failed to advance in the Senate, leaving regulators such as the SEC and CFTC to continue shaping crypto policy through their existing authorities. Despite regulatory uncertainty, financial companies continue building stablecoin products.

Galaxy Curation spustila dvě vaulty na Kamino
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 72
Original source text
Galaxy Digital’s curation division is planting a flag on Solana. Galaxy Curation has launched two new vaults on Kamino, bringing its audited risk strategies and single-asset yield management to what is currently Solana’s largest lending protocol.

What Galaxy Curation actually does The firm’s Kamino USDT vault targets a moderate-risk profile, spreading liquidity across multiple lending pools rather than concentrating exposure in a single protocol. The appeal for institutional depositors is legibility. They get a clearly defined risk framework, audited strategy logic, and a single asset they already hold: USDT. No wrapping, no bridging complexity, no manual position management.

Kamino’s curator ecosystem is getting crowded Galaxy Curation is joining a platform that has been quietly building out one of DeFi’s more functional institutional layers. Kamino now hosts over 80 active vaults, with security features including whitelisted reserves that restrict which assets can flow through each vault.

Gauntlet, one of the more established risk management firms in DeFi, launched two vaults on Kamino in November 2025: Gauntlet USDC Prime and SOL Balanced. Gauntlet manages a total volume exceeding $2B across DeFi, and its Kamino vaults use dynamic allocation and real-time risk monitoring to adjust positions as market conditions shift.

Hyperithm joined as an institutional curator on June 30, 2026, launching the USDC Apex Vault with an initial yield of approximately 6.77% APY. RockawayX has also joined the curator roster, broadening the range of risk appetites and strategy types available to depositors.

Binance Wallet users contributed $100M in deposits to Kamino’s vault products. Cumulative aggregated deposits across Kamino vaults have reached into the hundreds of millions. Kamino’s native token, KMNO, adds another dimension for participants in curated vaults, functioning as a rewards mechanism layered on top of base lending yields.

Hyperliquid předstihl Solanu v USDC v oběhu
ETH Ethereum HYPE Hyperliquid SOL Solana USDC USD Coin
CoinGecko News 72
Original source text
Hyperliquid, the perpetual futures-focused Layer-1 blockchain, now holds more circulating USDC than Solana. According to data from the Hyperliquid ecosystem tracker hl.eco, the network’s USDC supply has reached approximately $6.73 billion, narrowly exceeding Solana’s $6.72 billion.

That makes Hyperliquid the second-largest chain by circulating USDC, trailing only Ethereum.

How Hyperliquid got here The bulk of Hyperliquid’s USDC, roughly $6.28 billion, comes from native issuance on HyperEVM, the chain’s Ethereum-compatible execution layer. A smaller legacy pool of about $453.6 million remains bridged from Arbitrum, a holdover from Hyperliquid’s earlier architecture.

USDC now accounts for approximately 98% of Hyperliquid’s total stablecoin supply, which sits at $6.85 billion. USDC functions as the primary collateral for Hyperliquid’s perpetual futures markets, with the protocol’s entire margin system built around it.

Partnerships with Circle and Coinbase, established around May 2025 to 2026, have supported the minting and treasury infrastructure that enabled this scale, giving Hyperliquid direct access to USDC issuance pipelines rather than relying solely on bridged supply from other networks.

Solana’s USDC dip adds context In late August 2026, Solana’s USDC supply had surged to approximately $8 billion after Circle processed roughly $11 billion worth of mints that month alone. That number has since pulled back to $6.72 billion.

The HYPE flywheel Hyperliquid’s protocol design creates a feedback loop with its native HYPE token. The platform routes a portion of yield generated from USDC reserves toward HYPE token buybacks and burns. More USDC deposits mean more reserve yield, which means more buying pressure on HYPE.

What this shift means for stablecoin distribution Hyperliquid represents a chain where nearly all stablecoin activity serves a single vertical. It’s not trying to be a general-purpose smart contract platform. It’s a derivatives exchange that happens to be its own blockchain, and traders are parking billions in USDC there to use it.

For Circle, the USDC issuer, having significant USDC supply distributed across Ethereum, Hyperliquid, Solana, and other chains reduces concentration risk and expands the stablecoin’s utility across different market segments.

ZetaChain navrhuje přesun ZETA na Solanu
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
TL;DR: We are proposing to bring ZETA to Solana, and with it Anuma: a private multi-model AI app with 300,000 users, one memory across every model, and a new beta feature for real-life social discovery. ZETA would become a native SPL token, 1:1 and under the same ticker. The proposal is on ZetaHub. Voting opens Sept 17 and runs 72 hours. Nothing moves before ZETA holders vote. Anuma is live today. Try it.

AI is getting personal. It knows your health, your relationships, and your plans, and today that knowledge belongs to whichever model provider you use. We think it should belong to you and reach a model only when you decide.

We started ZetaChain in 2021 to connect chains. This year we found our product, the Private Memory Layer: one encrypted memory that follows you across every AI model, app, and agent, with your wallet holding the keys and each model seeing only what you allow.

The layer powers Anuma, our private AI app. More than 300,000 people have joined since February, it has passed a million requests across 35 models, and thousands more sign up every day. Live numbers are at zetachain.com/research.

We have run the Private Memory Layer in production since February and are building the application layer on top of it. Solana is where the rest of the AI stack is being assembled, so we are proposing to move there, where any AI app or agent can build on it.

Why SolanaSolana is assembling the stack private AI needs.

Compute and models are opening up in what Solana calls open intelligence. Agents can prove who they are through the Agent Registry and pay for what they use through x402, where Solana carries most of the traffic: more than 20 million payments since July.

What Solana's AI stack still lacks is the application layer: an app people use every day, with memory that belongs to them and travels across models, apps, and agents.

That application layer belongs on Solana because the network is built for agent scale. Memory reads, agent calls, and metered inference need sub-second, sub-cent settlement, and Solana delivers it today, with confirmations in about 400 milliseconds and a median fee of about a tenth of a cent. In tests it has handled more than 100,000 transactions per second, which will let agents transact at machine speed.

It also has one of the deepest consumer crypto ecosystems anywhere, with seven straight quarters as the top chain for DEX volume and more than $15 billion in stablecoins, so agents can pay in the money people already use.

Every Anuma account is a wallet, so migration brings more than 300,000 users onto Solana on day one.

Private by default, todayPrivate memory protects what AI remembers about you. Private mode limits what a model sees.

Anuma challenges the status quo where every prompt, your whole chat history, and your personal context go straight to the model provider. The app sends only the context a request needs. A closed model provider never gets your memory or full history, identifiers can be redacted before a prompt leaves the app, and private mode routes to open models on zero-retention infrastructure. Nothing is logged or trained on.

This matters more as agents get more capable. An agent acting for you may need your preferences, relationships, finances, or messages, and it should use them without handing every model or service permanent access to everything it knows about you.

The newest Anuma feature, now in beta, extends private AI to real-life social discovery: finding people around you worth meeting.

ZETA on SolanaThe role of ZETAZETA is the token behind Anuma, and on Solana it becomes the token behind the whole application layer. In Anuma this already works through credits. Lock ZETA, receive credits, and spend them on AI usage. Locked ZETA comes out of circulating supply. As more AI apps and agents on Solana plug into the same layer, ZETA becomes the common access token across them. The move also changes the size of the world ZETA lives in, with DEXs that clear around $70 billion a month and payment rails built for agents.

The economic opportunityThe opportunity is a bigger role for ZETA: an ecosystem with more applications, more users, and more AI activity, where ZETA is what people lock to use it.

More applications bring more users. More users bring more AI activity. More AI activity brings more ZETA utility, and that brings more applications.

We will focus on three things:

Grow Anuma. A consumer AI product people keep using, built around memory, multi-model AI, and social discovery.

Open the application layer. Let other AI apps and agents on Solana build on it, so ZETA is used beyond a single product.

Build the Solana AI ecosystem. Work with the developers and partners building AI on Solana, and make the application layer and ZETA useful in their products.

Products people actually use come first, with ZETA demand growing alongside that usage.

For ZETA HoldersMost holders should not need to do anything.

What stays

The ZETA ticker and a 1:1 conversion, with total supply unchanged and no new tokens

Vesting schedules, on their original dates

Your balance, including locked and staked positions and Anuma credits in the Token Dashboard

ZETA on Ethereum and BSC, which this proposal does not touch

Anuma, the memory layer, and your privacy: memory stays encrypted with keys you hold, and conversations are not logged or trained on

What changes

The chain ZETA runs on: Solana instead of our own L1

The token standard: a native SPL token

Validators: Solana's, not a set we run

The ecosystem around ZETA: Solana's DEXs, wallets, and agent payment rails

Our focus: every contributor hour goes to ZETA, Anuma, and building on Solana

Holder protections are written into the formal proposal. Exchange conversions depend on each exchange confirming the swap, and the list of participating exchanges will be published before anything moves. What staking becomes on Solana, including how staking rewards transition, is under active exploration, and the proposal will specify the mechanism.

What Happens NextThe full proposal is on ZetaHub. Voting opens Sept 17 and runs for 72 hours. Read it and vote. Bring your questions to X or Discord.

Anuma is live. Try it now.

FAQDoes this change what I hold? No. You receive the same amount of ZETA on Solana, 1:1. Total supply is unchanged, no new tokens are created, and vesting schedules keep their original dates.

When would the migration happen? There is no date yet. Voting runs Sept 17 to 20. After that, timing depends on exchanges confirming the swap, and the formal proposal will carry the dates. Nothing moves before it passes.

What happens to the ZetaChain network, and why not just bridge? If the vote passes, the ZetaChain L1 winds down once holders have moved. Until then, validators keep validating and staking keeps working. A bridge would not work: a wrapped token needs the original locked on a chain that will no longer exist. Instead, a native SPL token becomes the only ZETA, and the proposal will define how balances move.

What if the vote fails? ZetaChain continues as an independent L1 and nothing about the token changes.

About ZetaChainZetaChain is building the application layer for private AI: user-controlled memory, identity, permissions, and payments that work across AI models, apps, and agents. Its first consumer product is Anuma, a private multi-model AI app with one memory across every model, joined by more than 300,000 people since February. The next phase is bringing that application layer to Solana and opening it to a broader ecosystem of AI apps and agents.

INJ vstupuje na Solanu bez bridge
INJ Injective SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Injective Protocol has taken a meaningful step toward becoming a genuinely multi-chain asset. The project’s native INJ token is now live on Solana as an SPL token, listed on Sunrise, a trading platform connected to Backpack Securities, opening the door for Solana users to trade, provide liquidity, and build with INJ directly on the network.

The SPL token, with mint address 1NJMqVM4PadjuzYmeB7zV7q7DV8oB3ExaQCd9x6KsLz, became operational around September 10-11, 2026, with active trading and liquidity pools appearing by September 17.

What actually happened here
Until now, accessing INJ on Solana meant routing through bridges to Injective’s Cosmos-based Layer 1 blockchain. A native SPL listing changes the math. Solana users can now interact with INJ the same way they would any other token on the network, no bridging required.

The initial on-chain supply for the SPL token sits between 131,000 and 140,000 tokens as of mid-September 2026. That’s a relatively modest float for now, consistent with a controlled rollout rather than a full market debut.

INJ’s broader circulating supply sits near 100 million tokens, with the market price fluctuating between $5 and $6 at the time of the listing. That puts the market cap in the mid-hundreds of millions.

Injective already had interoperability with Solana via existing bridges since its 2021 launch. The difference now is that the relationship is direct and native.

Why Solana, and why now
The Sunrise listing, connected to Backpack Securities, is worth noting because Backpack has been positioning itself at the intersection of regulated and decentralized finance. That alignment fits Injective’s own trajectory: the protocol has been expanding into real-world asset tokenization, with ongoing initiatives involving mortgage records and trade receivables, collectively representing over $1 billion in pilots.

Staking on the native Injective network has also reached an all-time high of 58.8 million INJ tokens. That number matters because it reflects a portion of the supply that is locked and not circulating, which has implications for how much token is actually available for trading on any given platform, including the new Solana listing.

Injective has also introduced USDC support alongside these developments, adding a stable-value option that makes the ecosystem more accessible to traders who want to stay in the Cosmos or Solana-adjacent DeFi world without touching volatile assets on every move.

What this means for traders and builders
The practical effect for Solana-based traders is straightforward: INJ becomes another composable asset in the ecosystem. That means it can be plugged into yield farming strategies, used as collateral in lending protocols, and traded against other Solana-native tokens without the overhead of cross-chain mechanics.

For builders, the listing opens the door to internet markets, Injective’s term for on-chain financial markets that operate without traditional intermediaries. Developers building on Solana can now incorporate INJ into their applications directly, rather than designing around a bridged version of the token.

MOEX spustí 22. září pět kryptoměnových futures

Moscow Exchange has scheduled the Sept. 22 launch of perpetual futures tied to Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, XRP and Tron indexes, with the cash-settled contracts restricted to qualified investors.

Summary

MOEX will launch five perpetual crypto futures on September 22 for qualified market investors only. Contracts track Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, XRP and Tron indexes without delivering underlying digital assets physically. More than 72,000 qualified investors have traded MOEX crypto futures, the exchange said this week. Crypto futures turnover has exceeded 600 billion rubles since MOEX introduced contracts during last summer. Contracts will be dollar-quoted, ruble-settled and automatically rolled using daily funding calculations under exchange specifications. Moscow Exchange said in itsofficial Sept. 16 announcement that the products will operate as one-day futures with automatic rollover, giving investors exposure to cryptocurrency price movements without receiving or transferring the underlying digital assets. The exchange’s contract specification is set to take effect on Sept. 22.

The Sept. 16 announcement remains the latest MOEX launch notice located as of Sept. 17. No subsequent exchange notice reviewed changed the scheduled Sept. 22 start.

— The Crypto Johannes (@TheCryptoJonny) September 17, 2026 MOEX perpetual futures will cover five crypto indexes The new contracts will track five indexes calculated by Moscow Exchange. BTCUSDF will reference the MOEX Bitcoin Index, while ETHUSDF will follow the exchange’s Ether benchmark. SOLUSDF, XRPUSDF and TRXUSDF will track the corresponding Solana, XRP and Tron indexes.

MOEX already offers monthly futures tied to the same five cryptocurrency indexes. Bitcoin and Ether index futures began trading in November 2025, while contracts linked to Solana, XRP and Tron followed on May 14, 2026. Before the altcoin futures arrived, Moscow Exchange changed how its cryptocurrency benchmarks were calculated. Since May 13, the indexes have used prices from major cryptocurrency exchanges and update every 15 seconds during relevant trading periods. MOEX then uses the indexes to calculate settlement values for its existing contracts.

MOEX introduced indexes for SOL, XRP, TRX and BNB in May using data from Binance, Bybit, OKX and Bitget. At the time, the exchange said the benchmarks could later support new trading instruments. SOL, XRP and TRX subsequently became underlying indexes for monthly futures and will now receive perpetual contracts. BNB is not included in the five perpetual futures announced for Sept. 22.

Contracts settle in rubles without delivering crypto Although each new contract will be quoted in U.S. dollars using its corresponding index value, MOEX said financial settlement will take place in Russian rubles. Investors therefore will not need to hold Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, XRP or Tron to trade the products.

MOEX describes all of its current crypto futures as settlement contracts. At expiration or settlement, no cryptocurrency changes hands; only the financial result is calculated and settled through the exchange and participating brokers. Its product documentation says movements in USD/RUB affect the ruble value of the result because the underlying futures prices are expressed in dollars.

Unlike MOEX’s existing monthly crypto-index contracts, the new instruments are one-day futures with automatic rollover. Funding will be calculated under the exchange’s published specification, with MOEX setting the K1 parameter at 0% and K2 at 0.35%.

The exchange already runs perpetual futures across other asset categories. Its existing perpetual lineup contains 31 contracts covering currency pairs, MOEX indexes, the government bond index, precious metals and Russian and foreign securities. Maria Patrikeeva, managing director of the MOEX derivatives market, called the launch “an important milestone in the development of the Russian derivatives market.” She said the exchange was seeing “strong investor demand” for derivatives tied to digital assets.

Crypto futures demand has passed 600 billion rubles MOEX said more than 72,000 qualified investors have traded its digital-asset futures since the exchange began offering crypto-linked contracts, with cumulative transaction volume exceeding 600 billion rubles. The figures come from Moscow Exchange and have not been presented as Bank of Russia statistics.

The exchange’s current crypto derivatives product page still displays an earlier August snapshot showing 71,000 clients had traded crypto-related products since launch. It lists average daily turnover of 2.5 billion rubles during August and a record daily volume of 10.2 billion rubles on Aug. 21.

The newer 72,000 figure in the Sept. 16 release covers activity after that August snapshot. MOEX did not publish a separate breakdown showing how much of the cumulative 600 billion rubles came from Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, XRP or Tron contracts.

However, Moscow Exchange first entered regulated crypto-linked futures with a contract based on BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF in June 2025. An Ether ETF-linked contract followed in August, before MOEX moved to futures directly referencing its own Bitcoin and Ether indexes in November.

As crypto.news reported when the first Bitcoin ETF future launched, access was restricted to qualified investors from the start. The IBIT-linked contract was quoted in dollars and settled in rubles, establishing the same basic cash-settlement structure later used for direct cryptocurrency-index futures.

MOEX’s 2025 annual report said more than 40,000 clients traded its crypto-linked contracts during that year, generating more than 212 billion rubles of turnover.

Russia still limits these derivatives to qualified investors The structure follows rules the Bank of Russia introduced in May 2025 for financial products tied to cryptocurrency prices. The central bank said financial institutions could offer qualified investors derivatives, securities and digital financial assets linked to cryptocurrency values, provided the products did not involve physical delivery of cryptocurrency.

MOEX repeats the restriction on its own crypto-futures page. Both individuals and legal entities must hold qualified-investor status to trade the exchange’s cryptocurrency futures, and brokers determine final client access.

Russia’s rules for direct cryptocurrency transactions changed on Sept. 1, 2026. Under the new legal framework described by the Bank of Russia, both qualified and non-qualified investors can access cryptocurrency through regulated intermediaries, although the two groups operate under different limits.

Non-qualified investors must pass a test and are limited to purchases of eligible liquid cryptocurrencies worth no more than 300,000 rubles per year through each intermediary. The Bank of Russia identified Bitcoin, Ether and USDT for retail access under its liquidity and price-history criteria. Qualified investors can trade cryptocurrencies without the same purchase ceiling after completing the required testing.

As crypto.news reported when the new framework took effect, the Sept. 1 rules created regulated routes for cryptocurrency trading and custody through supervised intermediaries. MOEX’s Sept. 22 perpetual futures remain a separate derivatives product and are limited to qualified investors under the exchange’s specifications.

The Bank of Russia expanded routes to qualified-investor status shortly before the new crypto framework started. Rules effective Aug. 31 allow individuals to qualify through approved Russian financial-market examinations and certificates, including a MOEX Investor Certificate, alongside existing asset, income, experience and education criteria.

Solana is entering the final stretch of its speed upgrade, with 250ms slot activation set to arrive on the mainnet on September 18.

In a recent X post, Solana-focused software development firm Anza states that 250ms slot activation is now pending on mainnet-beta.

SIMD-0525 features usually take effect one epoch after they activate; hence, 250ms slot activation is expected to go live at the epoch 1037 boundary around 05:01 UTC on Friday, September 18.

HOT Stories

250ms slot activation will await activation at epoch 1035, while the feature will be active at epoch 1036 and go live at epoch 1037.

The "250ms slots" make Solana closer to its ultimate goal: a 200ms slot time, as Anza pointed out in its X post: "1 more step to 200ms."

250ms slots activation now pending on mainnet-beta.

400 → 350 → 300 → 250ms

Reminder, SIMD-0525 features take effect one epoch after they activate thus will go live at the epoch 1037 boundary ~05:01 UTC, Friday Sept 18.

- epoch 1035: pending activation
- epoch 1036: feature…

— Anza (@anza_xyz) September 16, 2026 Solana is reducing its slot times in stages from 400ms to 200ms: 400ms → 350ms → 300ms → 250ms → 200ms. This was first discussed in SIMD Discussion 469 and then formally proposed and approved in SIMD-0525.

Each 50ms reduction has its own feature gate and activates independently. The steps are spaced out to give core developers time to monitor cluster performance between activations.

The 350ms and 300ms reductions are active on mainnet, with feature activations of 250ms and 200ms already activated on devnet and testnet. 250ms is now pending mainnet activation.

1 more step to goActivation dates for the 200ms slot time, the last reduction, are still being determined by core developers.

You Might Also Like

Shorter slots mean more blocks in the same wall-clock time, and at 200ms the network produces twice as many blocks per day as it did at 400ms.

Solana believes that decreasing slot times will allow the network to be more competitive with other blockchain protocols. This change also sets a precedent for future latency improvements.

The upgrade is beneficial to all: users will have faster confirmation times for their transactions, and market makers will be able to offer tighter spreads. Validators will have shorter epochs (a Solana epoch is a fixed 432,000 slots, so it takes about 36 hours at today's 300ms, down from roughly 48 hours at 400ms, and will take about 24 hours once 200ms is activated), which means they are rewarded faster for adopting the performance improvements on Mainnet.

Paid na Solaně posílá creator fee přímo na X
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 72
Original source text
The past 7 days have seen unprecedented levels of token generation on Solana. Solscan data shows that over 1.75 million new tokens have been created on Solana in the past week, marking the highest weekly total in the network's history. The proliferation of memecoin launchpads has made it much easier for Solana users to create new tokens on the network.

A brand new launchpad, Paid, went live yesterday, September 15, with an ambitious proposition: let crypto users support projects and receive creator fee distributions directly through their X accounts.

The Solana-based protocol has moved quickly. Its analytics dashboard shows almost $400,000 in total fees, 4,148 token launches, and 115 X payments since launch. While reminiscent of the model that BagsApp uses, which is tying royalties to meme creators, Paid’s claim to fame is the direct distribution to X without the need to claim the fees.

How Paid works Paid connects a pump.fun token to an X handle. When someone launches through the platform, creator fees from that token route to Paid, which then converts the $SOL into dollars and sends the proceeds to the designated X account through X Money.

Users can launch through Paid's website by entering a token and selecting an X handle. They can also launch directly on pump.fun by placing an @handle in the token description and directing creator fees to Paid's treasury.

X generates a receipt when a payment settles, and Paid publishes the receipt on its payments feed. The protocol uses 80% of fees for payouts and allocates the remaining 20% toward $PAID buybacks and burns. Once enough funds accumulate, an automated worker uses Jupiter to purchase $PAID on the open market and burns the tokens.

The launchpad’s native token, $PAID, reached an all-time-high market cap of $20 million and currently trades around $12 million.

Paid also reports almost $80,000 worth of $PAID tokens bought and burned, representing 20% of recorded fees, while $8,110 has gone to recipients.

Offramping is Where Things Get Complicated According to the protocol’s documentation, creator fees first move into its Solana treasury. When the 80% payout pool reaches $100, Paid sends the funds to Kraken. Kraken then converts the $SOL to USD and initiates an ACH withdrawal into Paid's X Money balance.

Paid says the process uses Kraken's Spot Trading API and that the only part it cannot accelerate involves ACH settlement, which typically takes 1 to 3 business days.

The protocol says some payments currently show as pending because launch activity has moved faster than ACH settlement. It says pending payments remain recorded and go out automatically as funds arrive.

However, community members have questioned whether the X Money portion actually operates through a public API.

Some posts claim Paid manually sends payments through an X account, while others have questioned whether the model can handle thousands of simultaneous payouts.

Paid's own explanation says it uses an enrolled security key for its payout worker.

The company has also stated that it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, certified by, or connected to X or X Money. Those details have raised questions about how the integration works and what permissions Paid has obtained.

Regulation and Scalability Questions Some community commentary has also raised US money-transmission concerns because Paid receives creator fees, converts assets into dollars, maintains balances owed to recipients, and sends those funds to third parties.

Those posts do not establish that Paid has violated any law. The legal treatment would depend on the precise structure, entities involved, applicable exemptions, licenses, and any partnerships or authorizations behind the service.

The scalability question also remains open. Paid has already recorded 115 X payments against 4,148 launches, creating a substantial gap between tokens launched and completed payouts. Early figures alone cannot establish whether that gap reflects normal settlement timing, limited payment demand, or operational constraints.

Pump.fun remains Solana’s dominant launchpad with daily revenues often exceeding $1 million. With competitors such as Stonk.fun proving it is possible to, at least temporarily, gain market share, the Paid team will look to quickly establish product-market fit and work toward maintaining the traction they have gained so far.

Solana (SOL) declined 3.37% to $96.97 as the US Senate moved closer to a critical vote on the CLARITY Act, scheduled for September 15 at 2:15 p.m. ET. The outcome of this legislation could determine whether Solana and other digital assets are classified as digital commodities and fall under the regulatory scope of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Senate vote and legislative requirementsThe CLARITY Act requires at least 60 votes to advance beyond procedural stages in the Senate. With Republicans holding 53 seats, bipartisan backing from at least seven additional Democratic or independent senators is necessary for progression. This vote is viewed as pivotal for the future regulatory landscape facing Solana and related cryptocurrencies.

Leading up to the vote, investors adopted a risk-averse approach, pushing SOL below the psychologically key $100 mark. At the same time, the broader cryptocurrency market capitalization contracted 0.79% to $2.63 trillion, reflecting wider caution.

Bearish technical outlookAnton Kharitonov, a technical analyst at Traders Union, described Solana’s technical picture as “weak” and highlighted ongoing bearish sentiment in the market.

Kharitonov noted that until Solana breaks out above $100.32 and greater regulatory clarity is achieved, he remains defensive and uninterested in long positions. He expects Solana to move sideways or lower while current technical and legislative uncertainties continue.

On the technical charts, SOL trades beneath its 20-day moving average at $100.51 and 50-day moving average at $101.38, both acting as resistance levels. The 200-day moving average, positioned at $83.30, provides a key support zone in a longer-term horizon.

Additional momentum indicators also signal bearish conditions. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 33.81, with Stochastic RSI, Commodity Channel Index, and Bull/Bear Power all suggesting oversold scenarios.

Mini dictionary: CLARITY Act, a proposed piece of US legislation aiming to specify which digital assets fall under the jurisdiction of federal regulators such as the SEC or CFTC. Its approval could define the legal status and compliance frameworks for projects like Solana.

A close below $92.51 could trigger further downward momentum, while closing above $100.32 is needed for a potential bullish reversal pattern. Technical analyst Trader Tardigrade wrote on X that SOL has touched the lower boundary of a bull flag formation, indicating a chance for upward movement if the price stabilizes.

ETF inflows offer supportDespite the prevailing bearish trend, Solana-focused exchange-traded funds (ETFs) attracted $11.01 million in net inflows on September 14. Bitwise’s BSOL ETF accounted for $7.10 million, while Grayscale’s GSOL added $3.91 million. Together, total Solana ETF inflows have reached $1.37 billion, and combined net assets now stand at $1.46 billion.

Across the wider digital asset ETF market, net inflows totaled $1.3 billion for the week, marking the sixth consecutive week of positive flows. During this period, aggregate inflows hit $6.8 billion, with BlackRock’s IBIT ETF alone attracting $3.4 billion.

DeFi Development zvyšuje SOL treasury a spouští program CHAD

CoinGecko News 72
Original source text
In brief DeFi Development Corp's SOL treasury grew by 55,491 tokens to approximately 2,388,923 SOL and SOL equivalents, a roughly 2% increase since August 27. The company established a $300 million at-the-market program for its CHAD preferred stock. DFDV said SOL has outperformed the Nasdaq-100 by 39% quarter-to-date, while its own shares have outperformed SOL by 2x over that same stretch. Solana treasury company DeFi Development Corp. added 55,491 SOL, worth roughly $5.78 million, to its balance sheet, pushing its treasury to roughly 2,388,923 SOL and SOL equivalents.

The Nasdaq-listed company disclosed the purchase Monday alongside a new $300 million at-the-market program for its Variable Rate Series C Perpetual Preferred Stock, ticker CHAD. The combined moves extend a fast-moving stretch of capital markets activity that started in late August.

Myriad: Where does Solana's price go next? Click to make your prediction. The new treasury figure represents a roughly 2% gain since August 27, when DeFi Development Corp’s holdings stood near 2.33 million SOL. The company, which trades as DFDV on the Nasdaq, calls itself the first U.S. public company built around a Solana accumulation strategy. It runs its own validator infrastructure alongside the treasury, earning staking rewards on top of price exposure to SOL.

The at-the-market strategy lets DFDV sell up to $300 million in CHAD shares over time through R.F. Lafferty & Co., a New York broker-dealer acting as sole sales agent.

Establishing the program isn't an immediate raise—DFDV isn't obligated to sell any shares, and issuance is subject to market conditions and investor demand. The company said it intends to sell only at or above $10.00 per share, CHAD's stated par value, with net proceeds earmarked mainly for more SOL purchases.

CEO Joseph Onorati tied the program to what the company calls its "accumulation flywheel"—raising capital, buying SOL, generating yield, and repeating. “With a $300 million ATM now in place, we have the structure to scale CHAD into a meaningful new engine of growth—and we intend to issue at or above $10.00 par. The flywheel is spinning, and we now have more capacity to put it to work,” he said.

CHAD is barely a week old. DeFi Development closed its inaugural offering on September 8, raising about $11 million with participation from Fundstrat's Tom Lee. Because CHAD is non-convertible preferred equity, DFDV can raise through it without diluting common shareholders or growing its share count.

The CHAD offering itself had moved fast. DFDV first floated a $20 million target for the preferred stock on September 1, pricing shares at $9 each in a preliminary prospectus before settling on final terms of $8 a share and a smaller $11 million raise at closing. That same week, the company separately disclosed a 19,000-SOL purchase funded in part by the sale of its ZeroStack position, lifting its treasury to about 2.33 million SOL ahead of Monday's update.

DFDV pointed to relative performance to make that case. Quarter-to-date, the company said SOL has outperformed the Nasdaq-100 by 39%, while DFDV shares have beaten SOL itself by 2x over the same period. Those numbers have climbed since late August, when the company reported SOL beating the Nasdaq-100 by 33% and DFDV outperforming SOL by 1.8x.

Net proceeds from the CHAD ATM are intended primarily to fund additional SOL purchases, the same use DFDV assigned to the $11 million CHAD offering it closed on September 8.

Kamino jmenuje Michaela Weisze novým CEO
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Kamino, the lending and liquidity protocol built on Solana, has named Michael Weisz as its new CEO. Weisz co-founded Yieldstreet, an alternative investment platform that deployed over $6 billion across various asset classes and raised more than $250 million in venture and private equity funding.

The appointment, effective September 15, is designed to accelerate Kamino’s institutional growth and its expansion into the US market.

From alternative investments to on-chain lending Weisz spent over two decades in fintech before stepping into the Kamino role. At Yieldstreet, he built a platform that gave retail and institutional investors access to asset classes like real estate, marine finance, and art lending, all traditionally locked behind high minimums and private bank relationships.

The protocol operates as a peer-to-pool lending market on Solana with automated liquidity vaults, supporting leveraged strategies and, increasingly, real-world asset integrations.

Kamino’s numbers tell the story The protocol generated $1.84 million in revenue during Q2 2026. Deposits hit $2.29 billion by the end of the quarter, driven by rapid scaling in several newer markets. The Ethena market alone secured over $500 million in deposits. Kamino’s PRIME segment, which is backed by home equity loans, surpassed $600 million in market size.

Kamino has maintained zero bad debt since inception.

Recent launches include isolated markets, fixed-rate products, and institutional yield vaults. In August 2026, Kamino rolled out a Commodity Yield vault with $25 million in initial USDC capacity, designed to finance real-world commodity trade.

Solana spustila Frontier Traders pro profesionální obchodníky
FRONT Frontier SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
The Solana Foundation has rolled out Frontier Traders, a network-level rewards program that aggregates trading activity across 16 founding venues and dishes out VIP perks to high-volume participants.

The program targets institutional and professional traders, including market makers and hedge funds, offering cross-venue rebates, priority RPC infrastructure access, dedicated account management, and community events.

How the tiers work Frontier Traders operates on a volume-based VIP system. Entry-level tiers require a minimum of $10 million in 30-day trading volume. The tiers scale up from there, with the highest thresholds reaching $5B or more in monthly volume. Rebates range from 0.001% to 0.005% depending on tier placement. On $5B of trades, even a 0.005% rebate translates to $250K back in a trader’s pocket.

The 16 founding venues collectively account for over 90% of Solana’s spot and perpetual trading volume. Instead of locking traders into a single platform to earn rewards, Frontier lets them spread activity across the ecosystem and still qualify for benefits.

Over 2,000 traders enrolled in the program shortly after its rollout. Flint Trade joined as an official venue on September 1, 2026, making its trading volume eligible for VIP incentives.

Why Solana is building this now By bundling priority RPC access into the rewards structure, the program gives high-volume traders faster and more reliable connections to the network. One notable promotional campaign was a $25K prize pool contest linked to a SpaceX trading event in June.

What this means for the Solana ecosystem For the 16 founding venues, the program functions as a shared customer acquisition tool subsidized by the Solana Foundation. Smaller DEXs that might struggle to offer competitive maker rebates on their own can now point to Frontier as an added incentive for traders to route orders their way.

Solana zvyšuje velikost transakcí na mainnetu
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Solana just flipped the switch on one of its most consequential upgrades in recent memory. Transaction V1 went live on mainnet at epoch 1035, roughly 01:20 UTC on September 15, expanding the maximum transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes.

That 3.3x increase might sound like a modest plumbing fix, but it fundamentally changes what developers can accomplish in a single on-chain operation. Zero-knowledge proofs, large multisig configurations, and confidential transfers that previously required awkward workarounds can now execute atomically, in one shot.

Why 1,232 bytes was the ceiling for so long The original transaction size limit wasn’t arbitrary. It was tied to IPv6 Maximum Transmission Unit constraints and QUIC packet limits, the kind of low-level networking decision that gets made early and then quietly dictates what’s possible for years.

The upgrade was driven by two Solana Improvement Documents, SIMD-0296 and SIMD-0385, which together introduced both the expanded size and a new message format. Implementation was led by Anza and coordinated by the Solana Foundation, with engineers Jacob Creech and Andrew Fitzgerald among the key contributors.

The rollout followed a careful phased approach. Local testing began in August 2026, testnet activation landed on September 1 at epoch 1025, and mainnet followed two weeks later.

What changes and what doesn’t The v1 format is opt-in for transaction senders. Legacy and v0 transaction formats remain fully supported and unchanged, so existing applications won’t break overnight.

Infrastructure providers are a different story. RPC providers and indexers need to update their systems to handle the new transaction configuration characteristics, including adjustments for compute limits and priority fees. The Solana Foundation has flagged these as breaking changes for infrastructure, which means wallets, block explorers, and analytics platforms that haven’t prepared will need to catch up.

What 4,096 bytes actually unlocks Zero-knowledge proofs are perhaps the most significant beneficiary. ZK proof systems often require substantial data payloads, and cramming them into 1,232-byte transactions meant either splitting proofs across multiple transactions or relying on off-chain computation with on-chain verification that itself was size-constrained.

Large multisig setups also benefit directly. A multisig wallet with dozens of signers can now fit all necessary signature data into a single transaction rather than requiring multiple rounds of on-chain interaction.

Confidential transfers similarly gain from the expanded envelope. The cryptographic overhead of privacy-preserving transfers tends to be data-heavy, and the old limit frequently forced compromises.

For DeFi protocols specifically, the ability to pack more logic into one atomic transaction reduces the risk of partial execution failures, which matters when a complex swap, collateral adjustment, and liquidation check all need to happen together.

Huma Finance’s PayFi Strategy Token, better known as PST, has hit a $322 million market cap, crowning it the largest yield-bearing asset on Solana. For a token that was sitting at roughly $158 million in April, that’s a tidy doubling act in about five months.

The growth trajectory tells a clean story: $158 million in April, $200 million by July, and now $322 million in mid-September.

How PST actually works Think of PST as a receipt you get for depositing USDC into Huma Finance’s protocol. Your deposit doesn’t just sit there. It gets lent out as short-duration financing to licensed payment institutions that need liquidity for things like cross-border settlements and trade finance.

These aren’t long-horizon bets. The financing periods typically last between one and five days, which keeps capital cycling rapidly and risk exposure low. The interest and fees collected from these receivables-backed credit lines flow back to PST holders, making the token’s value appreciate over time.

The annualized yield lands around 8% in USDC, with current estimates ranging between 7% and 9%. Perhaps the most striking data point: zero credit defaults since inception. Every loan extended through the protocol has been repaid.

The numbers behind the growth Huma Finance reported cumulative transaction volumes surpassing $14 billion by the end of June, a 67% jump during the first half of the year alone.

PST’s outstanding balance grew 57% in the first half of the year, reaching $181.8 million by June 30. The collateral deployed on Solana’s lending markets climbed to $75.3 million over the same period.

The protocol has also expanded beyond Solana’s borders. PST is now integrated with Morpho and Fluid on Ethereum, opening the token to a much broader pool of DeFi participants and capital.

Institutional interest is the real signal Bitwise and Coinbase Asset Management are among the institutional participants that have engaged with Huma’s offering.

PST now ranks among the leading tokenized credit assets globally, not just on Solana.

The governance side of Huma runs on a separate HUMA token, which has a circulating supply of approximately 1.73 billion tokens out of a maximum supply of 10 billion. The distinction matters: PST is the yield engine, while HUMA handles protocol governance.

xStocks překročil na DEX objem 1 mld. USD

CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Tokenized stocks just crossed a threshold that would have seemed absurd two years ago. xStocks, the tokenized equities platform from Backed Finance, racked up more than $1B in decentralized exchange trading volume over the past 30 days, with SPYx, a tokenized version of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF, leading the charge.

Raydium, the automated market maker on Solana, handled roughly 75% of those flows. That means three out of every four dollars of tokenized stock trading on xStocks ran through a single DEX on a single chain.

SPYx is the engine The tokenized S&P 500 tracker has attracted between 63,000 and 73,000 holders, with an on-chain market cap ranging from $46M to $73M. Daily volume figures on concentrated liquidity pools have been reaching into the millions, suggesting this isn’t just a novelty holding for crypto-native users. People are actively trading the thing.

The broader xStocks ecosystem now spans dozens of US stocks and ETFs, and cumulative trading volumes have climbed into the tens of billions since the platform launched in mid-2025. As of early September, assets under management crossed $800M.

Solana’s tokenized equity surge Tokenized equity DEX volumes on Solana hit a record $5.8B in the second quarter of 2026, making the chain the de facto home for on-chain stock trading. Raydium alone reached cumulative tokenized equity volume of $3B by late June, cementing its position as the primary venue for this asset class.

On September 14, xStocks expanded its DeFi integration by launching yield-generating vaults for SPYx, QQQx, and NVDAx through Kamino, a yield optimization protocol on Solana. That move adds a layer of passive income potential to tokens that already track real-world equity performance, essentially letting holders earn yield on their stock exposure without leaving DeFi.

Competitive pressure and market implications The $1B monthly volume milestone puts xStocks in a position to pressure competitors, including Binance’s bStocks offering. While centralized exchanges have the advantage of existing user bases and familiar interfaces, xStocks benefits from composability. Its tokens can plug into lending protocols, liquidity pools, and yield vaults across the Solana ecosystem.

For retail investors, the appeal is access: fractional trading of high-value equities with lower capital requirements, no brokerage gatekeeping, and 24/7 market availability. The $800M AUM figure suggests the risk-reward calculus is shifting for institutional players as well.

Grayscale handed financial advisors a ready-made crypto allocation on Monday, and XRP (XRP) took 26.11% of it. The token is the second-largest holding in the firm’s new Digital Assets Next Gen model portfolio.

A model portfolio is a published recipe. Grayscale picks the assets and the weights, and an advisor copies that mix into client accounts using the firm’s exchange-traded funds.

Today, Grayscale launched Model Portfolios.

BeInCrypto reported in August that the same trust sold $180 million in tokens during the first half of the year at a realized loss. Six of the model’s seven funds trade below where they started.

The model itself shows a 30.69% net gain since July 27. That is five weeks of history built on one strong August, and the rest of the return table is empty.

Solana překonala Nasdaq a NYSE v tokenizovaných akciích
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
On September 12, Solana’s tokenized equity trading volume hit $200 million, beating the combined volume of the Nasdaq and NYSE by more than $100 million. For a blockchain that most people still associate with memecoins and NFTs, quietly outpacing Wall Street’s two flagship exchanges in stock trading volume is quite the character arc.

The milestone represents more than a single good day. Solana has consistently captured between 85% and 95% of all global on-chain tokenized equity trading activity throughout 2026, making it the de facto home for blockchain-based stock trading.

Inside the numbers Raydium, Solana’s largest decentralized exchange, handled roughly 70% of the $200 million in tokenized equity volume on September 12.

The day after the record, September 13, brought another milestone. The total supply of tokenized equities on Solana reached an all-time high of $684 million, with 727,000 holders across the network. That supply figure represents a 47% increase in just three weeks.

Perhaps the most telling statistic is this: 63% of tokenized equity trading volume on Solana through August occurred outside standard US market hours.

The September 12 record wasn’t Solana’s first brush with six-figure tokenized equity volumes. The blockchain first crossed the $100 million daily threshold back in mid-June 2026.

Why tokenized equities are gaining traction Tokenized equities are blockchain-based representations of traditional stocks. Think of them as digital twins of shares in companies like Apple or Tesla, but ones that can be traded on decentralized platforms without broker intermediaries, settlement delays, or the constraint of market hours.

Traditional stock settlement in the US still operates on a T+1 cycle, meaning trades don’t officially settle until the next business day. On Solana, settlement is near-instant. Transaction costs are fractions of a cent compared to the fees charged by traditional brokerages for certain order types and services.

The 63% after-hours trading figure reveals a structural demand that legacy exchanges are architecturally unable to meet. Someone in Singapore or Lagos who wants to trade US equities at 2 AM local time has limited options through traditional channels. On Solana, the market is always open.

13 September 2026 | 16:03 GMEx gives Solana traders continuous exposure to GameStop’s price, but the token’s legal structure means buying it differs from owning GameStop stock through a broker.

Key Takeaways GMEx provides price exposure, not GME ownership. Weekend price gaps can persist until reopening. GMEx holders have no GameStop voting rights. Dividend effects are rebased, not paid cash. Issuer redemption is limited to eligible clients. Volume does not show available exit liquidity. GMEx lets Solana traders buy or sell GameStop-linked exposure at any hour. Yet the Backed-issued token neither represents GME common stock nor places its owner on GameStop’s shareholder register.

xStocks said GMEx is now available for round-the-clock trading on Solana decentralised exchanges. The token can give crypto users a way to trade a GameStop price view when Nasdaq is closed, but its legal structure determines what that access does, and does not, provide.

GMEx extends GameStop price exposure beyond Nasdaq hours Nasdaq trading in GameStop shares follows a set market schedule. GMEx can trade whenever a Solana market has liquidity, including weekends, holidays and after the US session has ended.

Backed’s GMEx product record describes it as a tracker certificate issued as a Solana SPL token and an ERC-20 token on EVM-compatible networks. Its aim is to track GameStop’s share price. The token is backed through the issuer’s collateral structure, but it remains a separate financial instrument rather than a GameStop share.

A weekend GMEx quote can differ from GameStop’s last close When Nasdaq is shut, no new conventional GME share price is being set. GMEx may still move as Solana traders react to news, adjust positions or trade through a relatively thin liquidity pool. Its price can therefore sit above or below GameStop’s final Nasdaq price from Friday.

How GMEx pricing changes with Nasdaq hours

When Nasdaq is open

What sets the GMEx priceDEX trading alongside a live GME market

What may narrow a gapEligible issuance or redemption activity, if the price difference is large enough to cover costs

When Nasdaq is closed

What sets the GMEx priceOnchain supply, demand and traders’ expectations

What may narrow a gapThere is no live GME market, so a price gap may remain until regular US trading returns

There is no automatic correction between a weekend GMEx quote and GameStop’s next opening price. Once US trading resumes, eligible issuers and redeemers may compare GMEx with GME and use available issuance or redemption routes if the gap exceeds their costs. Ordinary DEX holders cannot assume they have access to those routes.

GMEx tracks GME’s value but carries no voting rights xStocks’ legal overview classifies its products as bearer debt instruments structured as tracker certificates. They provide economic exposure to the underlying equity but do not confer shareholder voting rights.

A GMEx holder has a claim under Backed’s certificate structure, not direct legal ownership of the GameStop shares held in custody. That is why a token holder should not expect to vote at GameStop shareholder meetings or receive company communications in the way a conventional shareholder would.

If an underlying company pays a dividend, xStocks says it reinvests the amount, net of applicable taxes, into additional units of the same asset. The token then reflects that adjustment through a rebasing mechanism. On Solana, the displayed balance uses a multiplier to show the revised exposure, rather than sending a conventional cash dividend into the holder’s wallet.

Selling on a DEX is different from redeeming with Backed A GMEx holder can sell on a decentralised exchange if there is a willing buyer and sufficient pool liquidity. That is a secondary-market trade. Holding GMEx in a wallet does not automatically give its owner access to issuer redemption.

Two ways a holder may exit

Sell GMEx on a Solana DEX
Depends on pool liquidity and available buyers. The execution price can differ from GME, particularly outside US market hours.

Use an issuer redemption route
Requires eligibility and can involve onboarding. It is a mechanism for converting the certificate exposure, not an automatic feature of every wallet.

xStocks says eligible direct clients may issue or redeem through the issuer’s platform. Its in-kind xPort route requires onboarding with both Backed and brokerage provider Alpaca.

Users should check whether xStocks is offered in their jurisdiction before buying. The product is not intended for US persons or other prohibited jurisdictions, and onchain transferability does not override the issuer’s distribution restrictions.

Backed lists no current management fee for GMEx, while reserving the right to introduce one of up to 0.25% a year. Issuance and redemption can each cost up to 0.50%. A price gap between GMEx and GME does not automatically create an arbitrage opportunity: an eligible participant must still cover the spread, network costs and any issuance or redemption charge.

First-day volume does not show exit liquidity Solana Compass reported about $1.75 million in GMEx volume during the first 24 hours after listing, with 35,686 trades, 10,506 traders and 16,230 holders.

Those figures record active trading, but they do not show how much GMEx a holder can sell near the displayed price. The holder count refers to wallets rather than verified individual investors, and it does not reveal how much GMEx each wallet owns. A market can register many small trades while offering limited liquidity for a larger exit.

Anyone considering a trade should check the pool’s available liquidity, bid-ask spread and expected price impact. The broader market also matters: Solana’s tokenised-stock activity has expanded, but headline volume is not a substitute for testing whether a specific token can be bought or sold efficiently.

Continuous trading is useful only if the link holds GMEx’s appeal is straightforward: it lets crypto markets express a GameStop view outside exchange hours. The harder question is whether its price remains close enough to GME for that access to be useful when liquidity is thin.

The first US market sessions after a weekend offer an early comparison, but several market cycles will be more informative. Consistent collateral disclosure, functioning redemption routes for eligible users and sufficient DEX liquidity will matter more than the fact that the token can trade on a Sunday.

Solana má 16,9krát vyšší výnosy z aplikací než Base
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 72
Original source text
Solana’s decentralized applications are generating nearly 17 times the revenue of those on Base over the same 24-hour window. According to DeFiLlama, Solana racked up roughly $5.14 million in app revenue compared to Base’s approximately $304,000, a ratio of 16.9 to 1.

The numbers behind Solana’s lead DeFiLlama’s app revenue metric specifically tracks fees generated by decentralized applications, things like DEXs, launchpads, and trading platforms. It deliberately excludes base-layer fees, which means this comparison isolates how well each chain’s apps are monetizing their users.

On that measure, Solana has been dominant throughout 2026. Monthly app revenue hit $91 million in May, then climbed to $143 million by August. That’s a roughly 57% increase over three months, driven largely by trading platforms and token launchpads that have made Solana their home.

Base has consistently ranked below Solana and other leading chains like Ethereum in daily app revenue. Its transaction volumes have shown some life at various points, but the chain hasn’t converted that activity into meaningful fee retention at the application layer.

Why the gap exists Solana’s high throughput has attracted a concentration of high-frequency trading apps and meme coin launchpads that generate substantial fees per user session. Base entered the picture with strong backing from Coinbase and genuine excitement about Ethereum Layer-2 scaling, but having a well-known parent company and low transaction costs hasn’t automatically translated into application-layer revenue.

What this means for each ecosystem The trajectory from $91 million in monthly app revenue in May to $143 million in August suggests accelerating adoption. For SOL token holders, higher app revenue generally correlates with increased network utilization, which drives demand for the native token.

The 16.9x gap also has implications for the broader Layer-1 versus Layer-2 debate. Proponents of monolithic chains like Solana have long argued that keeping everything on a single high-performance layer creates better conditions for app monetization, and this data point supports that position.

Federal Register zařazuje XRP mezi způsobilá digitální aktiva
SOL Solana XRP Ripple
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
A recent Federal Register notice has drawn attention by formally naming XRP alongside Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana in its review of eligibility standards for Commodity-Based Trust Shares. This development marks another step in XRP’s interaction with regulated investment frameworks in the United States.

XRP appears among leading digital assets in official noticeThe Federal Register, which serves as the official journal for US government rules and notices, included XRP as one of four digital assets meeting eligibility criteria for potential Commodity-Based Trust Share listings. Researcher BankXRP highlighted the inclusion on the X platform, noting XRP’s appearance directly alongside other prominent cryptocurrencies.

BankXRP observed that XRP, Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana are named as qualifying digital commodities for trust share listings in the Federal Register, drawing attention to the document’s more specific eligibility language.

The notice, issued on August 3, 2026, relates to a Cboe BZX Exchange proposal amending rules associated with Commodity-Based Trust Shares. Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, and XRP are listed as assets that satisfy the exchange’s generic listing standards, contingent on certain market and product conditions.

Each asset’s eligibility depends on both an established futures market and the existence of an exchange-traded fund that covers at least 40% economic exposure for the commodity.

The explicit reference puts XRP in a regulatory context with Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana, emphasizing its role as a candidate for regulated trust structures.

AssetNamed in NoticeQualifying Futures MarketETF With ≥40% ExposureBitcoinYesYesYesEtherYesYesYesSolanaYesYesYesXRPYesYesYesMini dictionary: Federal Register, the daily official publication for rules, proposed rules, and notices from U.S. federal agencies and organizations.

The distinction between eligibility and ETF approvalDespite XRP’s prominent mention, the Federal Register notice does not represent approval for an XRP exchange-traded fund. Instead, it clarifies which assets meet eligibility for trust share listings under existing and proposed rules. The Cboe BZX Exchange’s proposal discusses both the current requirements and a suggested buffer that could permit assets not fully meeting all criteria to qualify under specific conditions.

This language deals with listing requirements for regulated investment vehicles. It does not serve as a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) declaration on XRP’s status as a security or non-security. Eligibility under trust share listing standards is considered separately from regulatory classifications that may apply in different contexts.

The Federal Register’s inclusion of XRP relates only to the asset’s suitability for Commodity-Based Trust Shares and does not indicate that an XRP ETF is approved or imminent.

Potential impact for future XRP investment productsWhile XRP’s mention is significant for ongoing discussions about regulated investment products, market observers note that it does not initiate or guarantee new listings. The implications of this eligibility could become clearer if applicants reference the Federal Register notice in future XRP trust filings with regulators.

BankXRP emphasized the importance of XRP’s presence in the eligibility discussion, suggesting it strengthens the regulatory foundation for any future products.

However, eligibility in the Federal Register is just the initial step. Actual approval for any XRP-based trust or ETF would require a separate review and decision by regulatory bodies.

The situation highlights the evolving regulatory landscape for digital assets as governmental agencies refine requirements for commodities, securities, and various investment products.

XRP has appeared in two recent US fund registration filings, indicating growing institutional attention toward the digital asset. Both fund updates describe separate products in different stages of development, with XRP featuring as a key component in each.

Cryptex ETF filing includes XRP as major componentThe Cryptex Digital Market Cap ETF, a proposed multi-asset cryptocurrency fund, submitted a pre-effective amendment on September 11. This filing lists XRP as an eligible component with a 4.36% weighting in the underlying Cryptex Digital Market Cap Index as of September 8.

Cryptex Finance is a digital asset index provider that has developed a multi-asset index designed to track the overall cryptocurrency market. The ETF, if approved, is planned to trade on Nasdaq under the ticker BAGZ and is not a single-asset XRP fund.

XRP holds a 4.36% index weight, exceeding the assignments for Chainlink, Solana, and Avalanche in the same index. After Cryptex applies its final eligibility screens, XRP’s indicated fund allocation stands at 4.41%.

Other major cryptocurrencies hold leading index positions, with Bitcoin at 25.83% and Ethereum at 13.55%. Chainlink, Solana, and Avalanche have respective index weights of 3.15%, 2.80%, and 2.13%. The original index contains 36 assets, while the final fund allocation narrows the list to 19 constituents that meet operational and listing requirements.

Teucrium short XRP fund effective date pushed to OctoberIn a separate filing on September 11, Listed Funds Trust amended the effectiveness date for its Teucrium 2x Short Daily XRP ETF. The new target date is set for October 11, 2026.

Listed Funds Trust is an investment firm known for launching exchange-traded products that track strategies in both traditional and digital markets. This specific fund aims to deliver negative two times the daily return of XRP before fees and expenses by using swaps, rather than by selling XRP directly.

If XRP declines by 3% in one trading day, the fund targets roughly a 6% increase before costs. Due to the effects of compounding and daily leverage resetting, long-term returns may differ significantly from negative twice XRP’s cumulative movement.

The fund’s prospectus highlights that investors can lose money even if XRP falls, due to the compounding effects inherent in daily resets, and refers to the product as a short-term trading vehicle needing active monitoring.

The recent amendment only changes the effective date and does not specify an initial trading date, exchange symbol, or any new investment strategy for the fund. The filing does not attribute the timing adjustment to regulatory developments, pending legislation, or political negotiations, including the CLARITY Act or any Senate decisions.

Mini dictionary: Listed Funds Trust is an asset management company that sponsors and manages various exchange-traded funds, including those tied to cryptocurrencies and their derivatives. Teucrium is its partner providing commodity and digital asset fund management expertise.

Solana Mobile varuje uživatele před phishingem po průniku do Brevo
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Email marketing platforms are the quiet infrastructure of the internet, the unglamorous pipes that move newsletters and alerts from companies to inboxes. A breach at Brevo, the email marketing service formerly known as Sendinblue, exposed a vulnerability that sent ripples across the crypto industry, prompting Solana Mobile to warn its users about elevated phishing risks.

The breach unfolded on September 9-10, 2026, when an attacker exploited a flaw in Brevo’s SAML SSO handling, a single-sign-on authentication mechanism that, when misconfigured or vulnerable, can hand an outsider the keys to a remarkably wide door.

What actually happened The attacker gained unauthorized access to 138 Brevo customer accounts using the SSO vulnerability. Of those, six accounts were weaponized to send phishing emails directly to subscribers. Another 43 accounts had their contact lists exported, meaning email addresses quietly left the building even if no phishing message followed immediately.

Brevo identified the intrusion and closed the attack vector by approximately 8:30 AM UTC on September 10, resetting active sessions to cut off further unauthorized access.

The crypto sector bore the brunt of the targeting. Trezor, the hardware wallet maker, disclosed that phishing emails reached roughly 347,000 of its newsletter subscribers on September 9. BitBox and CoinTracking also confirmed their Brevo accounts were among those exploited, with their user bases receiving similar impersonation attempts.

The phishing campaigns leaned on a familiar playbook: impersonate a trusted brand, manufacture urgency around a fabricated security issue, and push the recipient toward a malicious link or credential-harvesting page. The raw material for these attacks was the exported contact data, not a direct compromise of wallets or private keys.

Solana Mobile issued a warning to its users flagging the phishing risk in the wake of the incident. The company’s own account does not appear to have been among the 138 compromised, but the broader exposure across crypto-adjacent firms was enough to warrant a public heads-up to anyone who might receive suspicious emails claiming to be from the brand.

Why crypto companies keep ending up here Third-party email platforms create a structural risk that individual companies can do little to fully control. A company can secure its own systems, implement rigorous access controls, and train its staff, and still find itself exposed because a vendor somewhere upstream had a misconfigured authentication layer.

The SAML SSO vulnerability at the center of this breach is worth understanding briefly. SAML, which stands for Security Assertion Markup Language, is the technology that lets you log into a third-party service using credentials from another provider. When a vulnerability exists in how the assertions are handled or verified, an attacker can potentially forge or hijack authentication tokens, gaining access without needing a password at all.

What users and companies should do now The immediate risk for anyone subscribed to a crypto-related newsletter, whether from Trezor, BitBox, CoinTracking, Solana Mobile, or any other brand using Brevo, is a heightened volume of convincing phishing attempts. The emails will likely reference real products, use accurate branding, and create pressure around urgent security scenarios.

The core defense is skepticism about unsolicited emails asking for any action, particularly clicking links, entering credentials, or confirming seed phrases. No legitimate crypto company will ask for a seed phrase over email. Ever.

For companies, the incident highlights a due diligence gap that has become increasingly costly. Vetting third-party vendors for security posture, specifically their authentication infrastructure and incident response capabilities, is no longer optional for businesses operating in high-value target sectors.

Trezor’s exposure of 347,000 subscriber addresses in a single incident gives a sense of scale. Contact lists built over years of legitimate marketing become attack infrastructure when they fall into the wrong hands, no wallet compromise required.

12 September 2026 | 19:43 BNB Chain’s reported RWA growth points to stronger issuer distribution, but it does not show whether tokenized assets are generating lasting onchain activity.

Key Takeaways BNB Chain led reported 2026 RWA growth. The chart measures growth, not total value. Funds and tokenized equities added distribution. Asset value does not guarantee BNB demand. Issuer concentration remains an important risk. BNB Chain led CryptoRank’s 2026 growth comparison BNB Chain shared a CryptoRank chart on September 12 that ranked the network first for real-world asset (RWA) value growth in 2026. RWAs are blockchain-based tokens linked to traditional assets, including funds, Treasuries, credit and equities.

Using RWA.xyz data, CryptoRank put BNB Chain’s year-to-date RWA value growth at about $3.6 billion. Solana followed with $2.6 billion and Stellar with $2.5 billion. The comparison does not measure total RWA value, trading activity, network revenue or demand for BNB.

The public chart also does not provide a product-by-product breakdown or its full calculation methodology. It shows the scale of the reported increase, but not which assets generated it or how much of the change came from each category.

About $14.3B: stablecoin market cap
Stablecoins are tracked separately from tokenized investment products and should not be treated as the same category.

About $14.9B: 30-day transfer volume
Transfers can include trades, issuer operations, redemptions, bridge activity and wallet movements—not only fresh investor demand.

For that reason, transfer volume can indicate activity without showing whether investors are accumulating assets. Recent tokenized-stock data showed that transfers can grow much faster than the capital held in the products.

Issuer distribution is widening, but the breakdown is unclear BNB Chain now hosts tokenized money-market products, Treasury-linked funds and tokenized equities. Its institutional-finance page lists BlackRock’s BUIDL fund, Franklin Templeton’s BENJI platform, Circle’s USYC and Ondo Global Markets among products available on the network.

Public data does not isolate how much each product contributed to the $3.6 billion increase. Tokenized equities may be one contributor: BNB Chain introduced bStocks as BEP-20 tokens in June, while Ondo Global Markets expanded access to tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs.

Availability is not uniform. KYC checks, transfer restrictions, investor eligibility and redemption terms can vary by product and jurisdiction. Economic exposure to a stock or fund also does not automatically provide the voting, custody or redemption rights attached to an ordinary security, as explained in this guide to RWA tokenization platforms.

Binance Research, the exchange group’s research arm, estimated in July that BNB Chain hosted close to 30% of tokenized equities and ETFs by market capitalization. Its analysis also found substantial bStocks turnover onchain, much of it outside U.S. market hours, while noting that tokenized-equity trading remained a small share of activity in the underlying stock market.

The relevant test is whether these products retain users after issuance through secondary liquidity, collateral use and repeat settlement, not merely whether they can be issued onchain.

Why more RWA value does not automatically lift BNB demand BNB is used to pay network fees and participate in the BNB Chain ecosystem. Tokenized products may increase fee usage when they create transactions that would not otherwise take place on the chain. Their face value, however, does not translate directly into demand for BNB.

A large money-market fund may remain largely inactive after issuance. A tokenized equity can trade often while generating limited fees because BNB Chain transactions are inexpensive. Gas sponsorship and custodial interfaces can further weaken the link between end-user activity and direct BNB purchases.

The evidence to watch is additional fee-paying activity tied specifically to tokenized assets: recurring settlement, secondary trading, collateral transfers and DeFi use. These show more about network use than the notional value of tokens held on the chain.

A lead in RWA value can still be concentrated RWA.xyz’s BNB Chain platform table includes a small group of major issuers and platforms, including Franklin Templeton, Circle, BitGo, Ondo and Binance-linked products. That concentration is common in a regulated market, where issuers need compliance and distribution infrastructure before bringing assets onchain.

It also means that a few decisions can materially affect the ranking. An issuer changing networks, a large redemption or a platform reducing support for a product could reverse part of the reported growth without demonstrating a broad shift in user demand.

The same issue appeared in Solana’s RWA and payments data, where high activity depended heavily on a limited number of issuers and venues. A chain can win issuer distribution before it wins broad user adoption: the first appears in asset listings, while the second requires persistent holders and liquid secondary markets.

What would make BNB Chain’s lead more durable? More issuers: A smaller share controlled by the largest platforms would reduce dependence on a few providers. Deeper secondary markets: Tighter spreads, available liquidity and repeat trading without temporary incentives would show use beyond issuance. Visible DeFi use: Collateral balances, lending markets and RWA-specific transactions would show whether the assets are becoming financial building blocks. BNB Chain’s ranking is meaningful evidence that issuers are selecting the network for distribution. It becomes stronger evidence of a durable RWA market only if those assets continue to change hands in liquid venues, work as collateral and attract users beyond the initial issuing platforms.

Hey Wallet končí, uživatelé si mají zálohovat klíče
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Hey Wallet, the Solana-based social wallet that let people send crypto through their X handles and tip creators on Discord, announced it’s shutting down. The service posted the news on its official X account, directing users to back up their wallets at heywallet.com before the lights go off for good.

No specific shutdown date was given. No reason was offered either, just a thank-you to the community and a polite but urgent reminder to export private keys and move assets elsewhere.

What Hey Wallet actually did Hey Wallet launched in 2021, born out of a Solana hackathon with a straightforward premise: connect web2 social networks with blockchain functionality.

In practice, that meant users could send SOL to someone’s X handle instead of copying and pasting a 44-character wallet address. They could tip content creators on Discord, swap tokens through Telegram, and mint NFTs, all from within the social platforms they were already using.

A pattern forming in wallet closures Hey Wallet isn’t closing in isolation. It joins a growing list of wallet services that have shut down this year, including HaHa Wallet and Magic Eden’s ME Wallet.

What affected users should do now The immediate concern is practical. Anyone who used Hey Wallet to store SOL or other Solana-based tokens needs to act before the service goes offline. The company has pointed users to heywallet.com to export their private keys, which can then be imported into any compatible Solana wallet.

The process itself is straightforward: visit heywallet.com, export your wallet’s private key or seed phrase, and import it into Phantom, Solflare, or another Solana wallet. Any tokens held in the wallet belong to the blockchain, not to Hey Wallet’s servers, so the assets themselves aren’t at risk as long as users complete the migration.

Dominion Market zastavil obchodování a zmrazil SILV
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 92
Original source text
TLDR: Dominion Market’s multisig wallets were breached near 01:00 UTC on Friday, September 11. SILV bought between 01:00 and 14:00 UTC Friday will be frozen and removed from wallets. USDC refund claims open Monday, September 14 at 12:00 UTC via onchain verification. Dominion is working with SIRN and SEAL 911 while targeting a full SILV repeg soon. Dominion Market confirmed a wallet breach that pushed its Solana-based SILV token off its 1:1 silver backing. The platform moved fast, pulling liquidity and locking down compromised wallets within hours.

Tokens purchased during the exploit window will be frozen, while long-term holders keep their balances untouched. A refund process opens Monday, and the team says a full repeg is coming soon.

Breach Response and Wallet Security Dominion Market said the compromise began near 01:00 UTC on Friday, September 11. The team detected unusual activity roughly three hours later and moved to contain it.

Founder Mark said the platform pulled liquidity, secured the affected wallets, and swapped in fresh hardware devices. He added that Dominion now has full control over its systems again.

The breach caused SILV to trade well below the value of the physical silver supporting it. That gap opened the door for opportunistic buying during the compromised window.

An update on $SILV bought during the incident.

You deserve a clear answer, so here it is.

Any $SILV bought between 01:00 UTC and 14:00 UTC on Friday 11 September will be removed from wallets.

We know that's hard to read. Many of you bought in good faith, and this affects you… pic.twitter.com/iUFAW90U6p

— Dominion (@Dominion_Market) September 11, 2026

Dominion said tokens acquired between 01:00 UTC and 14:00 UTC on Friday would be removed from wallets. Balances held before the exploit began remain unaffected by the freeze.

The team is working with outside security groups to trace the incident. Dominion named the Solana Incident Response Network and SEAL 911 as partners in the review.

Both groups focus on tracking exploits across Solana-based protocols. Dominion said it would share updates on the investigation as new details emerge.

Dominion also warned its community about follow-up scams tied to the incident. The company said it will never contact holders directly about refunds through private messages.

Any account offering early refunds before Monday should be treated as fraudulent. Official updates, the team said, will only come through its verified account.

Refund Process and Path to Repegging Holders who bought SILV during the compromised window will be eligible for USDC refunds. Dominion set the claims window to open Monday, September 14, at 12:00 UTC. The team cited closed silver markets over the weekend as the reason for the delay.

Dominion said the refund process would rely on verifiable onchain data for every claim. Affected users do not need to submit anything until the claims form goes live. The company plans to publish full instructions alongside the refund link at the same time.

Beyond refunds, Dominion’s stated priority is restoring the SILV peg to physical silver. The team said it is working to add liquidity ahead of the repeg.

Trading remains paused for now while the platform confirms its systems are secure. Holders have been asked to avoid trading SILV until an official repeg announcement.

Reaction within the community has been mixed since the freeze was announced. Some holders welcomed the quick action to protect the token’s backing.

Others expressed frustration over having tokens removed from their wallets. Dominion said the freeze protects holders who bought SILV before the breach occurred.

Tokenizovaná akcie DKNG na Solaně dosáhla objemu obchodů 39 milionů USD
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 72
Original source text
A tokenized version of DraftKings stock racked up $39 million in trading volume within three hours of going live on Solana.

The DKNG token, issued through Backpack Securities, is fully backed 1:1 by actual DraftKings shares held in custody. Holders can redeem their tokens or transfer them into traditional brokerage accounts.

Solana’s unlikely transformation into a stock exchange Daily tokenized stock volumes on the network have exceeded $600 million at various points in 2026. By early September 2026, total tokenized equity supply on Solana reached approximately $684 million. The network has captured over 95% of global on-chain tokenized equity DEX volume through mid-2026.

Backpack Securities launched its first tokenized equity with SpaceX shares back in June 2026, giving retail investors access to a company that doesn’t trade on public markets. Since then, it has expanded to companies including GoPro and Moderna, building a growing catalog of on-chain equities that trade across Solana DEXs like Raydium and Jupiter.

Traditional stock markets operate roughly six and a half hours per day, five days a week, closed on holidays, and gated behind brokerage accounts with varying fee structures. Tokenized equities on Solana trade 24/7, settle near-instantly, and benefit from the network’s low transaction costs.

Why tokenized stocks are eating memecoins’ lunch Tokenized equities have begun outperforming memecoins in trading volume on Solana.

The DKNG token attracted thousands of holders within its first days of trading. The combination of regulatory compliance, since tokens can be redeemed for actual shares, and the convenience of round-the-clock trading appears to be pulling in a broader investor base.

What this means for traditional finance The fact that DKNG tokens can be transferred to traditional brokerage accounts suggests Backpack has navigated the compliance landscape carefully.

Solana’s dominance in this category, controlling over 95% of on-chain tokenized equity volume, also raises competitive questions for other Layer 1 blockchains. Ethereum, which has positioned itself as the institutional chain of choice, has yet to capture meaningful tokenized equity activity.

Jump Crypto ukončí Frankendancer po aktivaci Alpenglow
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Jump Crypto’s Firedancer team is pulling the plug on Frankendancer, the hybrid Solana validator client that has been running on mainnet since September 2024. The cutoff comes when Alpenglow, Solana’s next major consensus upgrade, activates on mainnet in October 2026.

The move signals a clean break from the transitional architecture that helped bootstrap Firedancer’s presence on the network. With the full Firedancer client already live on mainnet since December 2025, the hybrid version has outlived its usefulness.

What Frankendancer actually was Frankendancer was exactly what it sounds like: a Frankensteined validator client stitched together from two different codebases. It paired Firedancer’s high-performance networking and block production components with the runtime and consensus layers from Agave, the other major Solana client maintained by Anza.

As of mid-to-late 2026, the combined stake represented by Firedancer-family clients (both the full version and Frankendancer) sits between 14% and 26% of total Solana stake. The full Firedancer client alone accounts for roughly 11% to 14% in recent snapshots, meaning a meaningful chunk of validators are still running the hybrid version.

Why Alpenglow changes everything The timing of Frankendancer’s retirement isn’t arbitrary. Alpenglow represents the most significant consensus-layer overhaul Solana has attempted, and it fundamentally changes how the network reaches agreement on transactions.

Currently, Solana uses a combination of Proof of History and Tower BFT for consensus. Alpenglow replaces both with a new protocol called Votor, which brings transaction finality down to approximately 150 milliseconds. For context, the current setup takes about 12.8 seconds to reach finality.

The upgrade is being spearheaded by the Anza team and will ship through Agave 4.3. Feature gates are expected to open in late September, with full activation following in October. Validators will need to upgrade during that window.

Because Alpenglow rewrites the consensus layer entirely, maintaining a hybrid client that depends on Agave’s old consensus code becomes impractical. The Frankendancer architecture, by definition, borrows its consensus from Agave. When that consensus mechanism gets replaced, the hybrid loses its foundation.

What this means for Solana’s validator ecosystem Validators currently running Frankendancer face a clear migration path: upgrade to full Firedancer or switch back to Agave before October.

Validators and stakers should watch the September feature gate timeline closely. The window between feature gates opening and full activation will be the critical period for ensuring a smooth transition, both away from Frankendancer and onto the new Alpenglow consensus.

Solana snižuje „rent“ a uvolní 612 000 SOL
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Solana just flipped the switch on step two of its five-part plan to slash account storage costs by 90%. The second activation, hitting mainnet around September 11, 2026, drops the rent parameter from 6,333 lamports per byte down to 5,080, making up to 612,000 SOL available for users to reclaim.

What rent actually means on Solana On most blockchains, storing data on-chain costs something. Solana’s version of this cost is called “rent,” though the name is a bit misleading. It’s not a recurring charge. It’s a fully refundable deposit that accounts must hold to keep their data stored on the network.

The original rate was 6,960 lamports per byte. Under proposal SIMD-0437, the network is cutting that in five planned steps to just 696 lamports per byte. That’s a 90% reduction, rolled out gradually to avoid any surprises in how the blockchain’s state grows.

Step one landed on September 3, 2026, trimming the rate to 6,333 lamports per byte. Step two takes it to 5,080. Together, those two moves represent a cumulative 27% cut from the original cost.

Where the 612K SOL comes from When the per-byte deposit requirement drops, every existing account on Solana suddenly has more lamports locked up than it needs. That excess becomes reclaimable.

Users don’t need to close their accounts to get the SOL back. Solana provides a dedicated instruction called WithdrawExcessLamports that lets account holders pull out just the surplus without disrupting anything. Of course, closing the account entirely works too, if someone wants to go that route.

The 612,000 SOL figure represents the estimated excess across all accounts after step two takes effect. Across the full five-step rollout, the total reclaimable amount is expected to exceed 3 million SOL.

It’s worth noting that this SOL isn’t newly minted. It already existed on-chain, just sitting in account deposits where users couldn’t touch it. The rent reduction doesn’t inflate supply. It just unlocks funds that were already there.

The full roadmap and what’s still pending Steps three through five are where things get ambitious. The plan aims to reach the final target of 696 lamports per byte by November 2026, but those later phases aren’t guaranteed to run on autopilot.

Each subsequent activation depends on the Solana core team monitoring state growth, essentially making sure the cheaper storage costs aren’t causing the blockchain’s data footprint to balloon uncontrollably. The later steps are also tied to the release of Agave 4.4, the next major version of Solana’s validator client.

Why this matters beyond the numbers Account rent has been one of Solana’s quiet friction points for years. Every token account, every NFT, every DeFi position requires a minimum deposit just to exist on-chain. For a single account, the cost is trivial. But for protocols that create thousands or millions of accounts (think token airdrops, gaming items, or order books), those deposits add up fast.

Leading asset management firm Bitwise has sparked discussions after buying heavily into Solana despite the slow momentum in the Solana ETF market.

Latest data from Arkham Intelligence shows that the firm has made the purchase after its fund saw a steady flow of fresh capital over the past month.

Solana sees rising institutional interest With the broad crypto market consistently facing market volatility, it appears that institutional investors are utilizing the recent weakness in Solana's price as an entry point to access the Solana investment product.

Notably, the data shows that Bitwise has bought a massive $107.4 million of SOL after its Solana ETF recorded steady modest inflows over the last 20 trading sessions.

Although the fund did not see a complete stretch of steady inflows all month, only two of those sessions saw outflows. As such, the Bitwise Solana ETF saw positive flows on most trading days during the period.

Bitwise's Solana holdings near $1 billion Following this substantial Solana purchase, the asset management firm is approaching a major milestone in its Solana holdings as institutions continue to demand its product.

Further data shows that the recent purchases have boosted Bitwise's holdings while expanding its Solana exposure. As of Thursday, September 10, Bitwise now holds over 9,030,000 SOL.

Per Solana's current trading price of around $101, the Bitwise Solana holdings are currently worth about $918 million, suggesting that it may soon reach a massive $1 billion milestone in its Solana holdings.

Solana poprvé překročila 400 tisíc držitelů RWA
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Solana has reached a significant benchmark in its real-world asset (RWA) ecosystem, with the number of holders exceeding 400,000 for the first time. This milestone represents a dramatic surge from fewer than 10,000 RWA holders recorded in January 2025, underscoring the rapid expansion of tokenized assets on the network.

Growth in RWA Adoption on SolanaEverstake, a leading blockchain infrastructure company that tracks staking and network analytics, reported that Solana’s RWA user base has expanded quickly in less than two years. The continuous growth indicates that participation in tokenized real-world assets on the platform is no longer limited to a small group of early adopters, but has become more widely accessible to retail and institutional participants alike.

This development enhances Solana’s position in the growing sector of asset tokenization, where traditional financial assets, real estate, and other tangible assets are converted into blockchain-based tokens. With increasing on-chain activity, networks able to process high transaction volumes—such as Solana—are expected to play a pivotal role in driving further adoption within the sector.

While RWA adoption accelerates, Solana’s native token, SOL, faces a period of technical uncertainty as markets assess its next price move.

SOL Price Holds Key Support, Faces ResistanceThe SOL token is currently trading at approximately $102.01, reflecting a 1.44% decline over the past 24 hours. Despite the recent drop, SOL maintains broader gains, rising about 33% over the prior 30 days and 1.45% in the past week. The token trades within a 24-hour range between $102.28 and $105.20, with $100 considered a crucial psychological threshold for short-term price action.

Time PeriodSOL Price Change24 hours-1.44%7 days+1.45%30 days+33%A break above $105 could open the path to higher resistance zones, though increased selling pressure between $100 and $102 may test the resilience of Solana’s recent rally. Analysts view price moves above $109 as especially significant, with sustained momentum above this mark indicating a potential push toward previous highs.

Technical Outlook: Support and Resistance LevelsTechnical analysis shows that SOL has been moving sideways after a steady rally from $76 to $109. The price remains above the 20-day Bollinger Band midline at $101.87, which acts as the first major support. Staying above this level could help maintain a bullish bias in the near term.

According to the indicators, the upper Bollinger Band at $109.03 sets the resistance zone, with the $109-$110 range seen as a potential barrier. Failing to clear this range could keep SOL in consolidation, while continued rejection below $101.87 could send the price toward the lower Bollinger Band at $94.70. Momentum readings are cautious, with the MACD line at 4.74 versus a signal line at 5.70 and a histogram of -0.96, signaling reduced buying pressure following the latest rally.

Crypto analyst Ash Crypto points to several long-term signals: SOL formed its first green monthly candle in 10 months, and the monthly MACD suggests a possible bullish crossover. Additionally, the monthly RSI has broken a two-year bearish trend, implying improving sentiment for the remainder of the year.

Solana’s combination of expanding RWA adoption and strengthening technical indicators makes the network stand out, with 400,000+ RWA holders reflecting notable growth while traders focus on key resistance near $109–$110.

Sustained trading above $101–$102 is considered vital. If SOL manages to surpass $109, targets between $112 and $116 may re-enter focus. Alternatively, a drop below $101 could lead to a test of support near $94–$95. The coming days are expected to determine whether Solana’s price action shifts towards a new rally or enters a consolidation phase.

Solana překonala rekord v denním vydání 263 tisíc tokenů
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 72
Original source text
The Solana network reached an all-time high in daily token issuance, surpassing the number of new coins issued during the peak of the memecoin cycle in late 2024.

More than 263,000 new Solana Program Library (SPL) tokens were minted on the Solana blockchain on Wednesday, marking a new record high, according to Solscan. Some 40,000 to 50,000 daily tokens were issued on Solana at the peak of the memecoin cycle in December 2024.

Of the total 40,360 tokens issued through launchpads, memecoin platform Pump.fun accounted for the majority, or 34,184 coins, according to Blockworks’ dashboard.

A launchpad enables creators to easily design, launch and trade memecoins without needing extensive technical skills. They automate the token creation process and provide immediate liquidity and visibility for new tokens.

Pump.fun ranks as the leading Solana-native protocol by daily revenue, with $1.8 million generated in the past 24 hours, according to DefiLlama. Last Friday, Pump.fun’s daily revenue was briefly overtaken by trading app Fomo, which combines cryptocurrency trading with social features resembling a social media feed.

Pump.fun accounted for one-third of Solana’s first-quarter revenue in 2026, or $124 million out of the total $342 million, despite cooling memecoin activity.

Tokenizovaná akcie $GRND překonala NYSE v objemu
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
A tokenized version of Grindr’s stock just did more volume on Solana in two hours than the real thing did on the New York Stock Exchange. The token, $GRND, racked up $14.1 million in trading volume within 120 minutes of its September 10 launch through Backpack Securities, the regulated brokerage arm of the Solana-native Backpack exchange.

How tokenized equities work on Backpack Backpack’s tokenized equities program launched in June 2026, starting with SpaceX ($SPCX) as one of its flagship offerings. Each token is backed 1:1 by actual US shares held in regulated custody, with minting and redemption pathways running through ACATS and DTCC infrastructure.

These tokens trade 24/7 on Solana-based DEXs, meaning no market close, no waiting for the opening bell, no after-hours limitations. Around the time of the $GRND launch, Backpack added over 20 new tokenized stocks to its roster. The platform has also rolled out features like dividend tracking and the ability to use equity tokens as collateral for perpetual contracts.

Cumulative trading volume across Backpack’s tokenized equity program has reached into the hundreds of millions to billions since inception, with the platform capturing the majority of Solana’s on-chain equity trading activity. The $SPCX token, representing SpaceX shares that aren’t available on public exchanges, was an early driver of that adoption.

The memestock engine finds new rails Within 24 hours of launch, the $GRND token showed approximately $11.1 million in volume on Solscan, with meaningful holder engagement. The gap between the two-hour figure and the 24-hour figure suggests the initial burst of activity was the main event, with volume tapering as the speculative frenzy cooled.

The Sunrise liquidity protocol, which collaborated with Backpack on the launch, played a role in ensuring sufficient depth for the trading activity. Without adequate liquidity infrastructure, that kind of volume in a two-hour window could have resulted in severe slippage or failed trades.

What this means for tokenized equity markets The 1:1 backing through regulated custody is a critical detail. Unlike synthetic assets or prediction markets that merely reference stock prices, these tokens represent actual equity claims. Holders can redeem them for real shares through traditional brokerage channels.

The NYSE operates roughly six and a half hours per day, five days a week. Backpack’s tokens trade around the clock. The integration of equity collateral into perpetual contract trading means traders can hold tokenized stocks and simultaneously use them as margin for leveraged crypto positions.

With over 20 tokenized stocks now available, Backpack is positioning itself at the intersection of traditional equity and DeFi markets. The outstanding question is whether regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions will accommodate or resist this kind of cross-pollination between equity markets and DeFi.

BAM Preconfirmations na Solaně spouští nový zdroj příjmů
JTO Jito Network SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
BAM Preconfirmations are now live on Solana via Helius and Triton, bringing low-latency data to the network’s high frequency traders and applications.

Preconfirmations bring a new revenue stream for validators running BAM, joining the Maker Priority Plugin that launched in Q2 2026.

Amassing over $15.95B in network stake, BAM has emerged as Solana’s validator client of choice, constituting 34.1% of all staked $SOL.

BAM Preconfirmations Go Live Solana validators have just unlocked another revenue stream. Jito BAM, Solana’s leading validator client by committed stake, has introduced proconfirmations, a mechanic giving programmatic traders, applications, and searchers faster access to critical market data.

Preconfirmations are effectively a forecast of the transactions a leader can expect to see in incoming shreds. They task validators with streaming out the transactions a leader has already committed to executing.

For Solana’s arbitrageurs and market makers, accessing low-latency transaction data can be the difference between capturing the spread and turning a profit, or getting picked off by toxic flow and suffering losses.

The BAM Verifier checks finished blocks against what was streamed, and validators caught deviating can be disconnected from the network.

On top of giving operators a competitive edge, BAM preconfirmations also unlock a new revenue stream for Solana infrastructure providers. The payout splits 30% to distributors, 35% to BAM validators and 35% to the Jito DAO, delivered as a stake-weighted priority fee each month.

Over Half of Solana’s Validators Running BAM Since the beginning of 2026, BAM has almost tripled its share of network stake. According to Blockworks data, the BAM client is now being run on 34.1% of staked $SOL, up for just 12% in January.

Of Solana’s 665 active validators, 383 have opted in to running BAM, representing over 50% of the network’s operators. BAM’s popularity among operators is likely driven by its value-add plugins and competitive rewards.

According to Jito CEO Lucas Bruder, BAM consistently offers the highest compute units and user transactions per block, meaning that validators are able to process more network activity through BAM than rival clients.

BAM MPP Plugin Proven to Increase Maker Efficiency Since its Q2 launch, the BAM Maker Priority Plugin has made a considerable impact on the efficiency of Solana’s micro market structure. As outlined in a recent article by Jito’s magicdhz, 17 operators, including top prop AMMs like BisonFi, Tessera, and SolFi are now running MPP.

Onchain data indicates the oracle updates running through BAM MPP witness higher success rates in slots led by other clients. In practice, this translates to more landed transactions, more predictable, tighter quoting, and better trade execution for the end user.

After a strong start, the engineers behind BAM MPP now turn their attention to further improving the product. Alongside rolling out MPP usage to more markets, the plugin is expected to introduce an intra-slot clock, offering another countermeasure against toxic flow.

On-chain risk coverage platform OpenCover has announced it is expanding its institutional-grade risk protection to the Solana network. Eligible positions can now access coverage, with the initial rollout covering Kamino, Raydium, Orca, and Jupiter. Specific coverage scope, limits, and terms vary by protocol and position. OpenCover primarily provides on-chain risk protection for DeFi users, connecting them to underwriters including Nexus Mutual. Following this expansion, Solana ecosystem users can now purchase coverage for risks such as smart contract vulnerabilities, oracle failures or manipulation, liquidation failures, and governance attacks. According to a prior announcement from Nexus Mutual, it has now launched four coverage products on Solana for Kamino, Raydium, Orca, and Jupiter, covering nearly 90% of the Solana lending market’s total funds. Of these, Kamino and Jupiter hold over $1 billion and $925 million in lending deposits respectively. OpenCover noted that this launch marks the start of its further expansion of risk transfer infrastructure on Solana, and it will subsequently partner with protocols, asset management firms, and liquidity providers to expand the range of positions eligible for coverage.

Akcionáři tlačí na odmítnutí znovuzvolení všech ředitelů SkyAI
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 86
Original source text
PANews, September 10 – According to The Block, Solana treasury company SkyAI will hold its annual general meeting on September 18. Ahead of the meeting, the company faces dual pressure from shareholders and potential acquirers, both calling for the rejection of the re-election of all directors. Shareholders including Bastion Trading, which holds a 9.99% stake, and others, filed a document with the SEC on September 3, stating they will vote "against" all five director candidates, citing reasons such as amendments to the company's articles of association that weaken shareholder rights, the adoption of a "poison pill" without a shareholder vote, and the existence of related-party transactions. Forward Industries, also a Solana treasury company, issued an open letter on Wednesday, similarly calling on shareholders to vote against all five directors and to oppose the company's proposed 2026 equity incentive plan, which would issue 5.145 million new shares (a dilution of approximately 7.2%). SkyAI, formerly known as Sharps Technology, is currently positioned as "agency finance for the Global South," holding approximately 2.0095 million SOL (about $207 million), making it the fifth-largest publicly listed Solana treasury company; Forward Industries is the largest such company, holding approximately 7.0135 million SOL (over $722 million). In June of this year, Forward proposed acquiring SkyAI in an all-stock deal at $1.55 per share (a 20% premium to the then-current stock price), which was unanimously rejected by SkyAI's board in July; since then, Forward's stock price has risen over 50%, while SkyAI's stock price has remained roughly flat at $1.35. Forward also pointed out that SkyAI has transactions involving a company affiliated with the brother of director and Chief Information Officer Alice Zhang, with one such transaction involving a warrant valued at over $100 million. Forward stated it remains open to reaching a "strategic transaction" with SkyAI. SkyAI has not responded to a request for comment.

XRP ETF přilákaly 1,55 milionu USD a rostou
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 72
Original source text
Wed 09 Sep 2026 ▪ 4 min read ▪ by Luc Jose A.

Summarize this article with:

During the session on September 8, XRP ETFs recorded $1.55 million in net inflows. Such a result places XRP ahead of bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana for one day, without calling into question the cumulative dominance of Bitcoin funds.

In Brief XRP ETFs capture $1.55 million, alone in the green on September 8. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Hyperliquid record net outflows in the same session. XRP’s lead remains punctual, far behind Bitcoin on cumulative and weekly flows. XRP climbs back around $1.43, with an increase close to 3%. Several positive sessions will be needed to confirm a lasting capital rotation. XRP ETFs Alone Attract New Capital In the United States, listed XRP ETFs resumed inflows after a session with no flow at all. Net subscriptions reached approximately $1.55 million.

At the same time, the three other categories recorded outflows. Bitcoin ETFs notably interrupted a run of three consecutive sessions in the green in the data provided by SoSoValue.

Flows obtained on September 8 are distributed as follows :

XRP ETFs received $1.55 million ; Bitcoin ETFs lost $46.65 million ; Ethereum ETFs had $24.29 million in withdrawals ; Solana ETFs recorded an outflow of $667,720. Regarding ETFs linked to Hyperliquid, they also lost $12.96 million. XRP funds are therefore the only products to have collected new capital among these five categories.

However, this first place remains relative. The amount obtained by XRP ETFs is 30 times less than the outflows observed on Bitcoin funds. Indeed, their lead mainly comes from the other products turning red.

This Lead Is Limited to One Session The five spot XRP ETFs manage $1.51 billion in assets. Thus, their cumulative net inflows approach $1.69 billion, according to reported figures.

The $1.55 million recorded on September 8 represents less than 0.1% of this historical total. These products attracted about $173 million over a month. The last session therefore accounts for only 0.9% of this amount.

Furthermore, the comparison with bitcoin is even more unbalanced. Bitcoin ETFs accumulate nearly $55.59 billion in net inflows. This amount exceeds that of XRP funds by about 33 times.

This gap is confirmed by weekly data. In the week ending September 4, Bitcoin ETFs collected $986.9 million. As for XRP funds, they collected nearly $19 million during the same period.

On a specific session, XRP outranks other cryptos. However, it does not dominate weekly flows nor cumulative subscriptions. Several positive days would be needed to confirm a lasting capital rotation.

XRP Price Rises Around $1.43 XRP moved nearly 3% up after the inflows of September 8. Its price thus returned to the $1.43 zone, after many sessions marked by weaker activity.

This simultaneous increase does not prove that ETFs triggered the rise. The $1.55 million received remain modest compared to volumes traded daily on spot and derivatives markets.

ETF flows also do not allow precise identification of final buyers. They measure creations and redemptions of shares but do not always distinguish institutional investors from other actors.

The next confirmation will depend on the regularity of subscriptions. Thus, XRP ETFs will need to maintain positive flows over several sessions, while bitcoin and Ethereum remain under pressure. Otherwise, this outperformance will remain a simple daily gap.

Sunrise přidal 20 tokenizovaných akcií na platformě Solana
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 86
Original source text
Sunrise, the liquidity protocol built on Solana and initiated by Wormhole Labs, just listed 20 additional tokenized stocks issued by Backpack Securities. The move continues a rapid expansion that has turned Solana into the dominant venue for decentralized trading of tokenized US equities in a matter of months.

The new batch of listings brings familiar Wall Street names onchain, with tokens representing real ownership of the underlying securities. Each tokenized stock is backed 1:1 and fully redeemable for conventional equity entitlements, including dividends.

From SpaceX to 20 new tickers The Sunrise-Backpack partnership launched its phased rollout in June 2026, starting with tokenized SpaceX equity, ticker SPCX. That token went live on June 12 to coincide with SpaceX’s Nasdaq IPO and promptly generated $439 million in trading volume during its first week alone.

By mid-July, cumulative DEX trading volume for tokenized stocks on Solana had crossed $734 million. By late August, total tokenized equity supply on the chain surged to $465 million.

The listing count has climbed steadily through the summer, moving from a handful of tickers into the mid-teens and now the low-thirties as of September. The latest 20 additions include well-known names such as Micron Technology (MU), Moderna (MRNA), and Nike (NKE), broadening the appeal beyond the tech-heavy roster that dominated early listings.

The division of labor is clean: Backpack Securities handles custody and issuance of the tokens, while Sunrise coordinates onchain listing and liquidity formation across various DEXs and wallets in the Solana ecosystem.

Why tokenized stocks keep gaining traction These aren’t synthetic exposure products or perpetual contracts that merely track a stock price. Holders of a tokenized Micron or Nike share own an actual claim on the underlying security, complete with dividend rights. If someone wants to exit the crypto rails entirely, they can redeem for the traditional stock through Backpack Securities.

Solana’s positioning in the tokenization race With $465 million in total tokenized equity supply by late August and trading volumes that crossed $734 million by mid-July, Solana has captured a significant share of the decentralized tokenized-equity market. The Sunrise protocol’s role as liquidity coordinator across multiple DEXs means new listings can find functional markets quickly rather than languishing in illiquid pools.

The risk profile isn’t trivial. Regulatory clarity around tokenized securities remains a moving target, and the custody chain, from traditional equity to blockchain token and back, introduces counterparty considerations that purely onchain assets don’t carry. If Backpack Securities faced operational disruption, the redeemability guarantee that underpins the entire model would come under stress.

Still, 20 new tickers in a single batch signals confidence that the regulatory and operational framework is holding up. With cumulative volumes approaching three-quarters of a billion dollars and supply pushing toward half a billion, the Sunrise-Backpack pipeline is no longer an experiment. It’s becoming infrastructure.

World spustil predikční platformu na Solaně pro více než 1 milion uživatelů
LINK Chainlink SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
@World_xyz has officially opened its standalone prediction market platform to a waitlist of more than 1 million users, positioning itself as a fully on-chain venue for event-driven trading on the @Solana blockchain.

How the Platform Works The platform is accessible at world.xyz and directly inside the @Phantom wallet on iOS, Android, and desktop. It uses a non-custodial design, meaning user funds remain in their own Solana wallets and move only when a trader chooses to enter a market. Positions are held as standard Solana SPL tokens and can be managed like any other on-chain asset.

Settlement runs through @Chainlink Data Streams and the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE), which together feed verified price data and resolve outcomes with minimal human involvement. According to Chainlink, this infrastructure compresses resolution times from the typical 1 to 2 hours seen with legacy providers to under five minutes in many cases. Winning positions redeem automatically in $CASH, @Phantom's stablecoin, keeping 100% of liquidity on-chain.

The CRE handles the automation layer, coordinating the multi-stage workflows needed to continuously launch and settle markets based on deterministic data, without requiring manual intervention from a resolution committee.

Markets and Competitive Context At launch, World offered binary "yes/no" contracts covering short-duration Bitcoin price movements and outcomes from the 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup. The platform plans to expand into sports, politics, commodities, and weather markets in the weeks ahead.

The launch places World in direct competition with established platforms such as Polymarket and Kalshi. Chainlink already powers Polymarket's 5-minute and 15-minute crypto markets, which have processed over $7 billion in trading volume, underscoring the scale that automated oracle infrastructure can support. The broader prediction market category has grown from roughly $1.2 billion in monthly volume in early 2025 to over $20 billion by January 2026, according to Crypto Briefing.

Johann Eid, Chief Business Officer at Chainlink Labs, said the integration marks "a major milestone" in the industry's shift away from human-driven legacy oracle solutions toward decentralised infrastructure that can scale prediction markets to trillions in volume.

Altitude propojuje fiat a stablecoiny na Solaně
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 72
Original source text
A Unified Account for Fiat and Stablecoins@Altitude has embedded @MoonPay Enterprise virtual accounts directly into its global operating account, giving treasury teams a single interface that spans traditional banking and on-chain settlement on @Solana. The move addresses a persistent pain point for corporate treasurers: the need to maintain separate providers for fiat collection, stablecoin conversion, and cross-border payouts.

Under the arrangement, businesses using Altitude are issued dedicated virtual accounts that sit on familiar banking rails. On the Altitude platform, those settled assets land within a Solana-native treasury environment.

How MoonPay Enterprise Powers the Infrastructure

The Altitude integration extends that consolidation to Solana-based treasury operations.

The integration routes funds through a compliance engine that connects legacy fiat systems directly to stablecoin rails, bypassing the correspondent banking chains that typically slow corporate money movement. For treasury operators on Altitude, that means the ability to receive fiat, hold stablecoins, and execute global payments from one compliant interface, without switching between platforms or managing multiple banking relationships.

The Altitude deal adds another layer to that enterprise push, this time targeting Solana-native businesses managing cross-border treasury flows.

USELESS před zalistováním na Bithumb vzrostl o 22 %
MEME Memecoin SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Useless Coin (USELESS), a Solana-based memecoin that openly markets itself as having no practical utility, surged 22% in the 24 hours leading up to its listing on South Korean exchange Bithumb. The token had already climbed 160% over the prior week and 500% over the past month, underscoring the appetite for speculative assets in the current market cycle.

Bithumb confirmed it would open USELESS trading against the Korean won starting at 14:00 local time, giving the token its first direct fiat on-ramp in one of Asia's largest crypto markets. The announcement was enough to send the token sharply higher before trading even began.

From BONKfun Launch to Major Exchange Listings Useless Coin is a community-driven memecoin launched on the Solana blockchain through the BONKfun platform. Launched in May 2025, its entire premise is to mock the industry's relentless focus on "utility" and complex roadmaps, with a whitepaper that is a 47-page parody document concluding the token is, indeed, useless. The entire supply of 1 billion tokens was launched at once via a launchpad with no team allocation, making all tokens immediately liquid.

The token first entered the broader spotlight through its involvement with the Kraken exchange. The token achieved widespread attention in early 2026 after winning a trading competition hosted by Kraken, with the victory resulting in the Useless Coin logo being featured on the limited-edition jerseys of Atlético de Madrid for a match against FC Barcelona.

A Growing Exchange FootprintThe Bithumb listing adds to an already expanding presence on centralised exchanges. The recent rally for USELESS has followed a series of major exchange listings, with Coinbase, Binance US, and Kraken all listing the token and giving it the kind of exposure most memecoins can only dream of. Its first parabolic rally saw a market cap jump from $4.2 million to $420 million, an impressive feat for a coin that openly brags about doing nothing.

Useless Coin was designed as a satirical critique of utility-driven cryptocurrencies, explicitly embracing its lack of utility and positioning itself as a parody of the crypto industry's focus on complex tokenomics and functional use cases. Whether the Bithumb listing sustains the rally or marks a near-term peak remains to be seen, but the token's trajectory so far has confounded sceptics at every turn.

Solana zaznamenala 348 milionů USD čistých přílivů do RWA
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
TLDR Solana recorded $348 million in net RWA inflows over the past 30 days. Solana’s total tokenized RWA value reached $720 million. The data comes from RWA.xyz, tracking tokenized Treasuries, credit, and other real-world assets. RWA inflows are separate from memecoin trading and speculative volume. The growth suggests Solana’s low fees and speed may be drawing more than retail traders. Solana has recorded $348 million in net real-world asset inflows over the past 30 days. The data comes from RWA.xyz, a platform that tracks tokenized asset activity across blockchains.

The inflows pushed Solana’s total tokenized RWA value to $720 million. This includes products like tokenized Treasuries and credit pools.

Solana is usually known for memecoins, fast trading, and consumer apps. This new data shows a different side of the network’s activity.

What The RWA Inflows Show RWA inflows are not the same as memecoin trading volume. They reflect capital moving into tokenized products tied to real-world assets, not short-term speculation.

These products can include U.S. Treasury instruments, private credit, tokenized funds, and other assets linked to traditional finance. The activity connects blockchain settlement with existing financial markets.

A $720 million RWA total gives Solana a real presence in the tokenization space. It does not place the network at the top of every list, but the pace of recent inflows stands out on its own.

Momentum matters here because institutional-style capital tends to move with more caution than retail trading. Growth in this area can signal rising confidence from issuers and allocators.

Why Speed And Cost Matter Lower transaction fees can make it easier to move tokens, transfer collateral, and settle trades. Fast confirmation times also help when tokenized assets are used inside DeFi platforms.

This gives Solana a practical pitch to RWA issuers. The network can offer liquidity, an active user base, and lower costs than some alternatives.

These features do not guarantee adoption, but they lower the barrier for teams building tokenized products. Issuers weighing where to launch often look at cost and speed as starting points.

The current inflow data does not confirm widespread institutional adoption of Solana. It shows capital movement and rising totals, not confirmation that major institutions have shifted operations to the network.

Solana Price on CoinGecko It also does not guarantee this capital stays in place. If yields, incentives, or market conditions change, some of these inflows could reverse.

The numbers reflect inflows and total value locked at this point in time. They are a snapshot, not a long-term commitment from any single institution or issuer.

Solana’s RWA growth adds a second track to its ecosystem. Retail trading and memecoin activity remain part of the network, alongside this newer tokenized asset activity.

This article draws on RWA.xyz Solana network data and public DeFiLlama Solana metrics.

Solana řeší hlavně zdanění stakingových odměn IRS
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Anatoly “Toly” Yakovenko, co-founder of Solana Labs, made a pointed argument on September 7: changing how the IRS taxes block rewards would do more for Solana’s ecosystem than any tweak to the network’s burn mechanisms, transaction fees, or inflation schedule.

The tax problem nobody wants to do math on The core issue traces back to IRS Revenue Ruling 2023-14, which treats staking rewards as ordinary income the moment a validator or delegator gains “dominion” over them. In practical terms, that means if you earn 100 SOL in staking rewards and SOL is trading at $150, you owe income tax on $15,000, even if you never sold a single token.

This creates what tax professionals call “phantom income.” You have a tax bill on gains you haven’t actually realized. If SOL’s price drops 40% before you sell, you still owe taxes based on the higher value at the time you received the rewards.

The burden falls hardest on smaller stakers who may not have the liquidity to cover tax obligations without selling their rewards. That selling pressure, ironically, can push prices down further, creating a cycle that discourages the very participation proof-of-stake networks depend on.

Legislative momentum, but no finish line In December 2025, Representative Mike Carey and 18 of his congressional colleagues sent a letter to the IRS urging the agency to revise its guidance on staking and mining rewards before the 2026 tax year.

The core of the reform argument is that staking rewards should be treated as newly created property, not income. Under this framework, tokens earned through staking would only become taxable when they’re actually sold.

The Solana Policy Institute has been active on this front as well, filing legal briefs that advocate for realization-based taxation on newly minted tokens.

Despite the bipartisan interest, the IRS hasn’t budged from its 2023 position. Revenue Ruling 2023-14 remains in effect, and no formal rulemaking process has been announced to modify it.

Solana’s tokenomics debate takes a back seat SGP-0002, a governance proposal that doubles Solana’s disinflation rate to 30%, was approved in late August 2026. The proposal accelerates the pace at which new SOL issuance decreases over time, making the token’s supply dynamics more deflationary.

Yakovenko’s framing suggests these efforts are secondary. His reasoning appears to be that enhancing network capacity and reducing latency, paired with favorable tax treatment, would have a compounding effect that dwarfs what protocol-level economic tweaks can achieve alone. He also indicated support for testing burn mechanisms specifically to benefit app developers, but positioned this as a complementary effort rather than the main event.

What’s actually at stake The implications extend well beyond Solana. Every proof-of-stake network in the US ecosystem faces the same tax headwind. Ethereum stakers, Cosmos delegators, and participants across dozens of other networks all contend with the same Revenue Ruling 2023-14 framework.

The 2026 tax year is already underway, meaning any retroactive guidance change would need to come relatively soon to affect current filing obligations. For US stakers across every network, the clock is ticking on a problem that no governance proposal can solve.

Solana snižuje minimální zůstatek, uvolní $SOL k výběru
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
Amid numerous network upgrades, Solana has started a 5-stage reduction in the amount of $SOL users must lock into accounts to cover onchain storage. The reform could eventually make about 3.06M $SOL available for users to reclaim.

Why Everyone Is Calling It a $319M Airdrop At around $100 per $SOL, that represents more than $300M. A price around $104 would put 3.06M $SOL near $319M, which explains the figure circulating online.

However, Solana users should not expect the network to distribute free $SOL. The tokens already belong to account holders. The rent reduction lowers the minimum balance required to maintain accounts, potentially leaving some accounts with excess lamports that users can reclaim. Solana activated the first SIMD-0437 feature gate at epoch 1028 on September 3. The change reduced the lamports-per-byte figure from 6,960 to 6,333, delivering an initial 9% reduction.

Developers will not automatically activate each remaining stage. They will examine state growth at each level before deciding whether to proceed. A separate safeguard, SIMD-0438, can restore the original 6,960 value if state growth creates problems.

The second stage reached testnet on September 3 and cuts the figure to 5,080 lamports per byte. Developers expect mainnet activation in mid-September. The remaining 3 stages target Agave 4.4, which is expected in November.

What “Rent” Actually Means Solana calls the required balance rent, but users do not permanently pay this money as a fee. The balance works as a refundable bond that covers the storage an account occupies across validators.

Solana calculates the minimum balance using:

Minimum balance = (128 + data size) × lamports per byte

SIMD-0437 ultimately reduces the constant from 6,960 to 696, a 90% reduction.

For an SPL token account, the change could reduce the deposit from about $0.159 to $0.0159, assuming similar economics. A business creating 1M token accounts could therefore see its required deposits fall from about $159,000 to $15,900.

How Can You Reclaim the Excess $SOL? If you have $SOL and other Solana ecosystem tokens in your wallet, you are definitely eligible for the claim,  depending on the token accounts in your wallet.

You can now recover the difference between your current $SOL rent balance for each token account and the new minimum rent as the rent required reduces, using multiple tools such as Sol-Incinerator’s ‘incinerator’ tool.

The first stage of the rollout, which is currently live on mainnet, has reduced the required rent by about 10% of the 696 lamport target. The remaining 90% will be available to claim as the remaining 4 stages go live.

The reclaim mechanism adds another important part to the story. Solana's Token Program now includes a WithdrawExcessLamports instruction through its May P-token upgrade. The instruction is what enables wallet providers, DeFi apps, and other onchain services to claim the $SOL sitting above the rent-exempt minimum from a token account, mint, or multisig account without closing the account or affecting its token balance.

Another Step in Solana's Upgrade Cycle The Solana network is embodying the popular “Increase Bandwidth, Reduce Latency” maxim as the rent reduction arrives alongside other major Solana changes. SIMD-0525 recently reduced the target slot time from 400ms to 300ms, with 2 further reductions planned before the network reaches the proposed 200ms target.

Meanwhile, Transaction V1 has reached testnet and increases the maximum transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes. The larger format could accommodate workloads such as ZK proofs, large multisigs, and confidential transfers within a single transaction.

“After 500 calls in the past few hours we got all the votes in the last few seconds and passed the disinflation proposal by a literal hair,” Mert Mumtaz, the chief executive of Solana infrastructure company Helius, posted to his 2.2 million followers on Friday, August 28. SOL changed hands at $101.73 on Friday, September 4, down 3.4% on the day.

The validator and data publication Solana Compass posted “SGP-0002: 67.001%. Bar: 66.667%. Margin: 0.334 pts,” as the count closed, with 176.29 million SOL voting for and 66.19 million against. “With 70 min left, it was losing by 58M $SOL. @mert made 500+ calls. Kraken reversed. JitoSOL overrode validators,” the same post said, putting turnout at 60.7% of eligible stake across 1,326 validators.

Lark Davis, a New Zealand-based commentator posted to his 1.5 million followers that Kraken had voted against mid-count “nearly sinking it before flipping at the last minute”, after the exchange moved roughly 8.9 million SOL against the proposal with under three hours left, and swung about 8.1 million back behind it in the final hour. “Less dilution for holders, lower staking rewards for validators. Not everyone’s happy, but the vote is done,” Davis wrote.

Trading Yield, Not Prices

MacBrennan Peet, the founder of Project 0, said on the On The Margin podcast: “when I think about trading, I think primarily about trading yield, not trading prices,”. Describing the delta-neutral yield hunt that sets the price of capital across chains. “So not necessarily taking directional exposure on something going 10x, but seeing a difference in spreads across market and taking advantage of that,” he said.

“Perhaps you want Bitcoin exposure. You’ve chosen that you want to be long Bitcoin. And now that you have the Bitcoin asset, you want to maximize your yield on it,” Peet said of the same hunt one asset over, describing the alternative as fragmented: “multiple fragmented accounts that also have no idea of your risk exposure across different venues.” According to Solana Company’s published figures, SOL holders are now maximizing on 4.34% in year one against 5.84% on the old schedule, 3.00% in year two and 2.25% in year three, assuming 68% of SOL stays staked.

“It’s math. It’s just a hard asset,” said the co-founder of bitcoin custody firm Onramp, Michael Tanguma. Making the case that scarcity is the only durable defense against a shrinking share. “Everyone gets diluted unless they import a harder form of money,” he said, and “now you’ve got to understand that there’s no real choices.”

Reopening The Settled, Deterministic Schedule

The Company’s objection is not to “lower issuance as an end state, but rather to reopening the settled, deterministic schedule,” Solana Company said on August 21, voting against SGP-0002 “on grounds of timing, not intent.” Staking on the Nasdaq-listed treasury vehicle’s own SOL produced $2.512 million of its $2.526 million in revenue in the quarter ended June 30, or 99.4%.

The proposal’s authors, the Helius engineers Lostin and 0xIchigo, who put the saving at about 18.9 million SOL over six years, wrote “41% of validators already opting for a 0% commission on emissions” will barely register the change.

Nothing Changes For Your Stake Today

“Nothing changes for your stake today. SGP-0002 is a governance mandate rather than a live protocol change yet,” wrote Andre Caldeira of the staking provider P2P.org. The cut lands only once SIMD-0550 is “accepted and activated through the normal Solana feature-gate process.”

The platform Nexo told its 279,000 followers on Wednesday that Solana’s validators voted through a “permanent cut to future token issuance,” listing it among the signals that “held up underneath” a soft week. It is the trade other networks have already run, and SOL sits far below the $250 level traders were modeling in the spring.

“SOL $1,000,” Mumtaz wrote to close the victory post, above a line of thanks: “THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO WAS OPEN TO CHANGING THEIR MIND”.

Kamino spustilo ZEC trh pro půjčky USDC

CoinGecko News 78

Kamino Finance has opened a new borrowing market on Solana that accepts ZEC, the bridged version of Zcash’s native token, as collateral. Users can now post ZEC to borrow USDC, or dial up their exposure using Kamino’s Multiply product, which loops positions to create leverage without requiring a centralized exchange.

How it works and why Kamino built it this way Kamino routes ZEC through cross-chain bridge infrastructure, specifically NEAR Intents and OmniBridge, to bring the asset onto Solana in a form the protocol can price and custody. ZEC first became tradable on Kamino Swap, the protocol’s aggregator, in late October 2025, so this lending launch is a logical next step rather than a sudden pivot.

The ZEC market sits inside Kamino’s isolated lending architecture, where ZEC collateral risk is contained in its own pool rather than mingling with the protocol’s main liquidity. That structure lets Kamino set custom loan-to-value ratios and liquidation thresholds tuned specifically to ZEC’s volatility profile, without exposing core markets to spillover risk if ZEC experiences a sharp drawdown.

The Multiply feature automates the loop of borrowing USDC, swapping it back into ZEC, and redepositing in a single transaction. The result is amplified ZEC exposure funded by borrowed stablecoins.

Part of a bigger pattern at Kamino The most recent comparable move was the introduction of a PAXG market on or around July 27, 2026. PAXG represents tokenized gold, so Kamino effectively allowed users to borrow USDC against a digital representation of physical gold bars. ZEC follows the same template, just with a privacy-focused cryptocurrency rather than a precious metal.

What this means for ZEC and privacy-asset DeFi Zcash’s shielded transaction capability uses zero-knowledge proofs, but regulatory pressure around privacy coins has kept many centralized venues at arm’s length, and DeFi integration has lagged behind mainstream assets by years.

Kamino’s overall lending platform handles billions in aggregate market size across its various pools, though specific figures for the ZEC market have not yet been disclosed. No expert commentary or specific TVL data has surfaced regarding the ZEC market to date.

DeFi Development Corp. vydá preferenční akcie navázané na SOL
SOL Solana
CoinGecko News 78
Original source text
DeFi Development Corp. (NASDAQ: DFDV), the firm that has built its balance sheet around accumulating Solana, has outlined plans for a new preferred-stock raise aimed at expanding that treasury. The company said it intends to offer up to $20 million of Variable Rate Series C Perpetual Preferred Stock, marketed under the nickname CHAD Stock, in a registered public offering.

The securities would carry a $10 stated amount per share and begin with an annual dividend rate of 13 percent, paid on a daily basis when declared.

The first regular payment is scheduled for October 1, 2026. Because the stock is perpetual, it has no maturity date.

The underwriter would also receive a 30-day option to buy an additional 15 percent of the shares. R.F. Lafferty & Co. is serving as sole book-running manager.

Completion remains subject to market conditions, and the company cautioned that size and final terms could still change.

Management said net proceeds would go toward general corporate purposes.

That list includes working capital, purchases of additional SOL, other digital-asset investments, strategic deals, and growth projects.

In other words, the raise is designed to keep DFDV’s core strategy moving: convert newly raised capital into more Solana and related exposures rather than rely solely on common-stock issuance.

At closing, the company plans to set aside a dividend reserve equal to the first 12 months of payments at the initial 13 percent rate, funded with cash, financial instruments, or digital assets.

The timing fits a broader pattern. DFDV has repeatedly used equity programs, convertible notes, and at-the-market facilities to scale its SOL holdings while tracking a metric it calls SOL per share.

Last week it reported that it had resumed buying Solana, adding roughly 19,000 SOL at an average price of about $98.

Earlier communications have described preferred equity as a cleaner form of leverage than convertible debt, because distributions can theoretically be supported by staking yield, validator income, and other on-chain activity rather than by issuing more common shares.

The new variable-rate series is the latest attempt to put that idea into practice.

For investors, the instrument sits between ordinary equity and senior debt.

Holders would rank ahead of common stockholders for dividends and in a liquidation, but the coupon can be adjusted after the first period at the board’s discretion, and payments still depend on legally available funds.

The company has applied to list the shares on Nasdaq under the ticker CHAD.

Whether a liquid market develops after listing is another open question.

The proposal also reflects how digital-asset treasury companies have evolved.

Instead of treating crypto simply as an unproductive reserve, DFDV presents Solana as an asset that can appreciate and generate yield. Preferred stock, in that framing, becomes a way to add leverage without the forced-sale risk of margin loans.

Critics will note the usual caveats: SOL prices remain volatile, dividend coverage is not guaranteed, and any new senior claim sits ahead of existing common shareholders.

Still, the announcement is consistent with DFDV’s stated goal of compounding Solana exposure per share over a multi-year horizon. If the offering closes near the proposed size, it would give the company another modest but targeted pool of capital to deploy into the same asset that already dominates its treasury.
