One crypto analyst says Hedera’s HBAR is approaching a critical test, with a potential $268 million token release looming in the current quarter. The figure comes from Hedera’s own Treasury Management Report. The latest forecast shows 4.07 billion HBAR scheduled for release in Q3 2026. Around 3.88 billion HBAR is tied to the ecosystem development program. This funding goes primarily to the Hedera Foundation.
The Release Story Is Not That SimpleThe analyst stressed that “released” does not mean sold. According to Hedera’s definition, tokens are considered released when they move from accounts controlled by the Hedera Council to accounts controlled by another party, often the Foundation. Those tokens can still be held for months or quarters.
The analyst also noted that Hedera does not itself define or use the term “circulating supply.” Therefore, the supply figures reported by different trackers may rely on their own definitions.
The latest forecast would represent the second-largest quarterly release in Hedera’s history, behind Q1 2023. However, past forecasts have not always matched actual movements. A projected 4 billion HBAR release in Q2 ultimately saw only 186 million HBAR move. The previous quarter forecast 3.72 billion HBAR, while actual movement was around 383 million.
The analyst says this leaves two possibilities: the Foundation may be deliberately slowing distribution, which could reduce immediate selling pressure. Alternatively, the forecast column may be unreliable.
Treasury Is Nearly SpentIf the latest forecast is completed, around 47.5 billion of the 50 billion pre-mined HBAR would be distributed. This would leave just 2.4 billion, or less than 5%, unreleased. However, the original distribution schedule runs until roughly 2033. Moreover, Hedera only publishes one forecast quarter at a time.
The analyst also challenged claims that a previous HBAR release triggered a 700% rally. HBAR rose from roughly $0.05 to $0.39 between September and December 2024, but the 3.97 billion HBAR release came afterward in Q1 2025, followed by an 83% decline to around $0.0612.
The Bigger Question Is Network RevenueThe analyst’s biggest concern is whether Hedera can eventually fund itself through network fees. Current fees were around $1,354 per day, or roughly $1.5 million annually, against a market capitalization near $3 billion.
Fees are not burned. They are distributed to staking rewards, node rewards and the network treasury. Hedera also raised a major transaction fee from 0.1 to 0.8 in January to improve long-term sustainability.
Overall, the analyst remains open to the bullish case, noting that released tokens are not automatically sold and fees could grow rapidly. But the core takeaway is clear: after eight years of Treasury-funded operations, Hedera must increasingly prove that its network activity can pay the bills itself.

Růst XRP podporuje akumulace velryb: adresy s 100 000 až 100 miliony XRP zvýšily držby o 2,8 % za posledních pět týdnů. Menší retailové peněženky mezitím odcházejí z trhu.
XRP's latest rally appears to be backed by growing conviction among large holders.
On-chain data provided by analytics firm Santiment shows that whales have steadily increased their positions while smaller retail wallets continue to exit the market.
Wallets holding between 100,000 and 100 million XRP have increased their combined holdings by 2.8% over the past five weeks.
HOT Stories
During the same period, wallets holding less than 0.01 XRP reduced their balances by 5.2%. There is a clear divergence between institutional-scale investors and the smallest retail participants.
Essentially, large investors were buying the dip while XRP was trading in a relatively weak range between roughly $1.05 and $1.12.

According to CoinGecko data, XRP has climbed more than 3% over the past week, recently reclaiming the $1.16 level.
XRP has historically tended to follow the behavior of large whales instead of small retail wallets, according to Santiment.
Bullish momentum Whale accumulation is a bullish signal, but, of course, it is not a guarantee that XRP will continue higher. Large holders can accumulate for many reasons, and macro conditions, ETF flows, and broader crypto market sentiment are still the key factors that could make or break the rally.
Recent data shows that XRP spot ETFs recorded $5.09 million in net inflows on July 21 after $2.27 million on July 20 and $6.10 million on July 16. This came after a brief period of outflows earlier this month.
Meanwhile, as reported by U.Today, there are various notable technical developments on the XRP Ledger. Validators are expected to vote within the coming weeks on one of the network's most significant upgrade packages to date.
The proposed amendments would introduce batch transactions and confidential transfers. Additional improvements include enhancements to the ledger's Multi-Purpose Token (MPT) standard.
Cardano (ADA) za posledních 24 hodin vzrostlo o 7 %, ale data z derivátů naznačují spíše short squeeze než nákupy velryb. Open interest stoupl o 11,5 % a objem o 71 %.
Cardano (CRYPTO: ADA) surges 7% in the past 24 hours, but derivatives data shows the move is being driven by a leveraged short squeeze rather than whale-backed accumulation.
What Is The Van Rossem Hard Fork And Why Does It Matter?
Cardano activated the Van Rossem hard fork on Saturday, moving the mainnet to protocol version 11, according to CoinDesk.
The upgrade lowers smart contract execution costs and lays the groundwork for Ouroboros Leios, a scaling upgrade expected later in 2026 that aims to sharply increase the number of transactions Cardano can process.
The more consequential change is who approved it. For the first time in Cardano’s history, the upgrade was initiated, debated, and ratified entirely through the network’s on-chain governance system rather than directed by Input Output, the engineering firm that built the blockchain.
Delegated representatives voted 78.97% in favor, clearing the 60% threshold required for passage.
For ADA holders, the shift means owning a token on a network where holders have a formal vote in its direction rather than taking what the founders decide to ship.
Is The Rally Built On Solid Ground?Retail traders are aggressively long on ADA, with account ratios on Binance and OKX both sitting above 2.0, meaning more than twice as many retail accounts are betting on the upside than the downside.
However, larger players are not as convinced. Top trader accounts lean bullish but their position ratio of 0.96 puts them close to neutral, suggesting whales are not driving this move with conviction.
Open interest climbed 11.5% and volume surged 71% according to Coinglass, with short positions dominating the liquidations. That combination points to a short squeeze pushing price higher rather than fresh capital flowing in from bigger buyers.
Cardano Price Breakout Targets $0.20 After Triangle BreakADA breaks above a symmetrical triangle that compressed price since the June low.
The RSI bullish divergence that printed in June has now activated, with RSI at 55.95, its strongest reading since April.
ADA reclaimed the 20-day EMA at $0.1671 and now faces the 50-day EMA at $0.1772 as the next resistance.
A confirmed daily close above $0.175 with the candle body outside the triangle validates the breakout, with the measured move targeting $0.2 to $0.2045. Losing $0.1671 flips the breakout into a fakeout.

Cardano aktivovalo hard fork Van Rossem na mainnetu, který přináší nové funkce Plutus, rychlejší a levnější smart kontrakty a vyšší bezpečnost sítě. ADA se drží kolem 0,165 USD.
Cardano price hovered at $0.1650 on Sunday after the Van Rossem hard fork officially activated across the mainnet. ADA gained during the previous 24 hours as traders assessed the upgrade’s impact on network performance.
The broader cryptocurrency market also improved, rising 0.54% to reach a $2.2 trillion valuation. Bitcoin price was still trading over $64,000, with Ethereum at $1,860 and XRP price showing a small gain.
Market sentiment may strengthen further if Bitcoin maintains support above $63,500 and approaches the $69,000 resistance level.
Van Rossem Hard Fork Strengthens Cardano Mainnet The Protocol Version 11 upgrade of Cardano was implemented once all the necessary governance groups gave it adequate approval. The proposal passed ratification levels in Epoch 643 on July 13. It was automatically enacted in the next epoch boundary, which is July 18, 2026.
The upgrade comes with new Plutus features that aim to enhance the execution of smart contracts. Faster processing, reduced costs and updated cost models can be enjoyed by developers.
These modifications can make decentralized applications run in the growing ecosystem of Cardano more efficient.
NEWS: V11 (van Rossem) hardfork is now officially live on Cardano $ADA mainnet.
It brought new Plutus capabilities, faster/cheaper smart contracts, and protocol prep for Leios.
Congratulations to the entire Cardano ecosystem on another successful upgrade! 🥳 pic.twitter.com/KLJtAaV9Uy
— Cardanians (CRDN) (@Cardanians_io) July 19, 2026
Van Rossem also enhances ledger consistency and enhances node security. The upgrade includes improved primitives, special VRF keys, and new reference input regulations.
The hard fork governance action was given precedence by the ledger of Cardano over other proposals during the ratification. There were however no rival governance actions that were withheld, stifled or lapsed.
The upgrade is also gearing Cardano towards the proposed transition to the Dijkstra era. That future hard fork should bring in Ouroboros Leios, the significant Cardano scalability framework. The goal of Leios is to maximise throughput without compromising network security and decentralisation.
Whale $100K Activity Falls While ADA Price Holds Steady Cardano price looks at recovery because whale transactions have not been high as compared to spikes that have been noticed earlier in the year. The current participation of major holders is limited and would show large ADA transfers above 100,000.
The whale activity had earlier spiked to more than 200 transactions in January and then went down in the months that followed. The highest brief increases were observed in February, March, June, and July, but none of them was as high as the first peak.
Santiment data The fact that this slowdown persists implies that large investors are acting cautiously until they can see through the fog before they can venture more into Cardano.
Cardano Price Outlook Signals 20% Rally Toward $0.20 The ADA price surged to $0.165, extending its recovery from the $0.160 support zone during four-hour trading.
Buyers are trying to gain control, but short-term resistance is close to $0.17 according to the Cardano future outlook.
An emphatic four hour close above that line may help build momentum towards $0.180. A break of $0.18 can lead to a break of $0.20, which is about 20% increase over the current.
Source: Tradingview The MACD is still a bit positive but narrow lines indicate that momentum still requires more volume. In the meantime, the Chaikin Money Flow value of approximately 0.13 indicates that capital is still flowing into the market.
Cardano price must defend $0.16 to preserve this bullish structure and prevent another pullback. Any failure at the support may reveal $0.15 before the buyers get confidence back.
Na Binance dosáhly výběry XRP nejvyššího podílu za nejméně dva roky, když tvořily 54,5 % transakcí 17. července. Podobný poměr dříve předcházel zhruba 66% růstu XRP.
XRP withdrawal activity on Binance has climbed to its highest level in at least two years.
According to a new on-chain analysis by CryptoQuant contributor Amr Taha, the exchange is now recording a significantly larger share of withdrawal transactions than of deposits.
Taha said Binance’s share of XRP withdrawal transactions reached 54.5% on July 17, the highest level since July 2024. Meanwhile, deposit transactions fell to 45.4%, the lowest reading since the same period and below the previous low of 46.7% recorded on June 20, 2025.
XRP Deposit/Withdrawal chart The widening gap between withdrawals and deposits has expanded to 9.1 percentage points, up from 6.5 points on June 20, 2025. According to Taha, this makes the current imbalance roughly 40% wider than the previous comparison.
Binance Outpaces Broader Exchange Trend The broader centralized exchange market is showing a similar pattern, though Binance’s shift is more pronounced.
Across all centralized exchanges, withdrawal transactions accounted for 53.01%, nearly matching the 53.09% recorded on June 20, 2025, while deposit transactions stood at approximately 46.9%.
Binance’s withdrawal share is now 1.49 percentage points higher than the all-exchange average. Its 9.1-point withdrawal-deposit gap is also nearly 49% wider than the roughly 6.1-point gap observed across all centralized exchanges.
The figures suggest Binance users are moving XRP off the exchange at a faster rate than the broader market, although the data reflects the number of transactions rather than the size or value of transferred funds.
Previous Pattern Preceded 66% XRP Rally Taha pointed to a historical parallel that has drawn attention from market participants.
After similar transaction levels were recorded on June 20, 2025, XRP’s price climbed from approximately $2.11 to $3.50 by July 21, delivering a gain of nearly 66% in about one month.
At the time of the analysis, XRP was trading near $1.09, around 48% below its June 2025 comparison price and nearly 69% below the subsequent $3.50 peak.
However, Taha cautioned against interpreting the data as a direct bullish signal. The metrics track the proportion of deposit and withdrawal transactions, not the volume of XRP being transferred or net exchange flows.
As a result, the shift reflects a change in transaction composition rather than definitive evidence of capital leaving exchanges or a guarantee that price will follow the same trajectory.

Ethereum od začátku července vzrostl asi o 10 %, ale momentum slábne a Binance drží o 221 000 ETH více. Spotové ETF v USA přidaly za čtyři dny 91,5 milionu USD.
Key Highlights Ethereum has rallied approximately 10% throughout July, yet underlying demand signals remain subdued Binance holdings expanded by 221,000 ETH from late June onward, adding to tradable inventory Large holder transaction volumes have fallen to “Whale Left” territory according to CryptoQuant metrics Spot Ethereum ETFs in the United States recorded consecutive inflows over four sessions, accumulating $91.5 million A decisive move above $1,803 resistance (the 50-day EMA) is necessary for ETH to target $2,400 Ethereum has managed to climb roughly 10% since July began, yet the upward momentum appears increasingly precarious. Evidence from various market indicators suggests buyer participation exists but lacks conviction.
Ethereum (ETH) Price The Net Unrealized Profit/Loss (NUPL) indicator has improved from -0.46 to -0.30, signaling that while holders remain underwater on their positions, losses have contracted somewhat compared to previous levels.
Spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds in the United States experienced their first streak of positive net flows since early May, recording four straight days of capital entry. SoSoValue data confirms these combined inflows reached $91.5 million.
While encouraging on the surface, historical patterns indicate sustained ETF capital influx over extended periods is required to catalyze significant price appreciation. Current activity falls short of that threshold.
Crypto analyst Ash Crypto noted on X that ETH has retreated 6% from recent peaks following rejection at the 50-day moving average. He highlighted critical support zones at $1,670 and $1,500, emphasizing that reclaiming the MA 50 and breaking through $1,850 are essential steps toward reaching $2,400.

Large Holder Activity Contracts Data from CryptoQuant reveals that average whale transaction size declined from approximately 1,500 ETH per trade in mid-May to roughly 1,000 ETH currently, entering territory the analytics platform designates as “Whale Left.”
This retreat by institutional and high-net-worth participants reduces the volume of substantial orders flowing through markets. The resulting environment leaves pricing more vulnerable to smaller transactions, potentially amplifying near-term price swings.
Addresses containing between 10,000 and 100,000 ETH did absorb approximately 100,000 ETH during the previous week. However, total balances in this cohort have remained essentially unchanged across the past three weeks, indicating accumulation has not intensified.
Growing Supply on Trading Platforms Binance’s Ethereum reserves expanded from 3.64 million ETH to 3.87 million ETH since late June concluded—a notable addition of 221,000 ETH representing one of the more substantial reserve buildups observed in recent months.
Source: CryptoQuant Expanding exchange inventories signal greater availability of ETH for immediate market transactions. While this doesn’t guarantee imminent selling, it introduces additional supply-side pressure into a market already demonstrating fragility.
The Coinbase Premium Index, which measures sentiment among United States-based traders, has recovered from -0.169 to -0.076. Despite improvement, the negative reading indicates American buyers continue transacting at discounts relative to international markets.
ETH currently trades in the $1,740 to $1,777 range, maintaining position above the 20-day EMA situated at $1,714. Open interest in derivatives markets has remained stagnant, suggesting leveraged participants are adopting a wait-and-see approach.
The Cardano ecosystem recorded several major developments over the past week. Most notably, the launch of the Leios public testnet led activity. There were also upcoming decentralized finance (DeFi) initiatives, renewed ecosystem funding, and an application-level security incident involving the SecondFi wallet.
Here’s what happened in the Cardano ecosystem in the last week:
Leios Public Testnet Goes LiveCardano officially launched the public testnet for Leios, its next-generation scaling protocol, on June 23. Named Musashi Dojo after the legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi, the testnet marks one of the network’s most known technical milestones in years. Moreover, the upgrade is seen as a major boost to Cardano’s transaction throughput by up to 65X. A mainnet hard fork is targeted for November 2026.
The rollout is structured into five phases: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Void. These will progressively test the protocol from initial design validation to adversarial testing before mainnet deployment. As a result, the testnet allows stake pool operators (SPOs) to deploy Leios-enabled block producers. Developers can also begin testing decentralized applications (DApps), wallets, and infrastructure ahead of the upgrade.
RealFi Testnet Set for July LaunchInput Output Global (IOG) also announced that Phase 1 of its RealFi testnet will launch on July 6.
The project aims to improve capital efficiency by enabling stablecoins to generate yield instead of remaining idle. The initiative represents IOG’s latest effort to expand decentralized finance (DeFi) use cases within the Cardano ecosystem.
Big news: the RealFi Phase 1 Testnet goes live on 6 July. 🚀
This is our first public step toward next-generation stablecoin infrastructure on Cardano – and a direct response to a problem we've been vocal about:

AlphaGrowth Proposes Treasury-Funded DeFi InitiativeMeanwhile, AlphaGrowth unveiled PRIME, a proposal with a vision to accelerate DeFi adoption on Cardano.
1/11
Cardano DeFi is ready for prime time.
Today we’re introducing PRIME:
a 12-month AlphaGrowth-run program to help Cardano attract liquidity, deepen DeFi usage, and become a first-class destination for capital. pic.twitter.com/nJ11h3jQWr
— alphagrowth (@alphagrowth1) June 22, 2026 The firm plans to request 120 million ADA from the Cardano treasury to fund the initiative. It is also showcasing its previous work with major blockchain ecosystems including Compound, Uniswap, and Arbitrum. Notably, it says it helped support more than $1 billion in total value locked (TVL).
SecondFi Exploit Prompts Security ReminderThe week also saw a security incident involving SecondFi, formerly known as the Yoroi wallet. A vulnerability reportedly resulted in the theft of approximately 16 million ADA.
SecondFi stated that affected users will be fully compensated and advised users to follow updates through its official channels.
Addressing concerns, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson emphasized that the blockchain itself was not compromised. He stated that Cardano’s protocol, cryptography, and core infrastructure remain secure.
He described the exploit as an isolated application-level issue rather than a network-wide vulnerability.
Cardano’s native token ADA traded at $0.1439, declining 0.8% over the past 24 hours despite a series of ecosystem developments.

API3 po oznámení zalistování na Upbit vyskočil na 8měsíční maximum a během reakce trhu přidal 121,43 % z 0,84 USD na 1,86 USD. Objem obchodů vzrostl o 409,6 % na 473 milionů USD.
The cryptocurrency Api3 (API3) reached an 8-month high today after Upbit, South Korea’s largest digital asset exchange, announced its listing.
The triple-digit price surge has also made API3 the top daily gainer on CoinGecko. Additionally, the announcement has sparked significant interest, propelling the token to the top of trending coins in the market.
Upbit Listing Triggers API3 Rally For context, API3 is a decentralized oracle network that connects decentralized applications (dApps) with real-world data using first-party oracles. In contrast to traditional oracle solutions, which rely on third-party intermediaries, API3 empowers API providers to run their own oracles, enhancing data authenticity and reducing trust-related issues.
The coin is already available on several major exchanges, including Binance, Coinbase, OKX, and more. Now, it has made its debut on Upbit.
API3 went live for trading at 17:00 Korean Standard Time (KST) on August 19. The exchange informed users that the token is available to trade against two pairs: Korean Won (KRW) and Tether (USDT).
“Please ensure you check the network before depositing the digital asset. Deposits and withdrawals made through networks other than the specified network will not be supported,” the notice read.
After the initial listing announcement, API3 surged by 121.43% from $0.84 to $1.86. The latter level was last seen in December 2024. At the time of writing, the price adjusted to $1.77, retaining gains of 112.5%.
Furthermore, the market capitalization also doubled from nearly $100 million to over $200 million at press time. The pump in market value has pushed API3 to become the 3rd largest oracle coin by market cap, trailing only behind Chainlink (LINK) and Pyth Network (PYTH).
API3 Price Performance Post Upbit Listing. Source: TradingViewThe price surge was accompanied by a massive rise in volume as trading began. The daily trading volume increased 409.6%, reaching $473 million. Importantly, much of this came from Upbit.
CoinGecko data showed that the South Korean exchange dominated 24.58% ( $118 million) of the volume, with trading only beginning just a few hours ago.
Meanwhile, the market reaction is typical for coins securing Upbit’s support. The exchange, which commands the highest trading volume in South Korea, has a history of influencing market performance through its listings. This pattern is seen with other tokens that experienced significant price movements following similar announcements.
Canonical bridge World Chain vzrostl za sedm dní o 32,87 % na zhruba 602 mil. USD a WLD přidal 33,6 %. On-chain DeFi TVL ale zůstává jen kolem 39,7 mil. USD.
World Chain's canonical-bridge TVL climbed 32.87% over seven days to about $602M, with WLD tracking the move at +33.6%. The growth concentrates in Re7 Labs vaults on Morpho Blue, while the chain's on-chain DeFi TVL remains near $40M.
Total value locked in the canonical bridge of World Chain, the Optimism Stack rollup operated by Worldcoin's Tools for Humanity, climbed 32.87% over seven days to about $602M, according to a DefiLlama snapshot earlier this morning. The token tracked the move, with WLD up over 50% in the same window.
The bridge holds assets locked on Ethereum that mirror across to the L2, and at $605 million, it’s the chain's deepest pool of collateral. Re7 Labs, the risk curator running the most active lending vaults on the chain, now sits at $32.69M deployed on World Chain, about 35% of its $92M cross-chain book. Morpho Blue is the lending venue underneath those vaults. The growth puts World Chain among the fastest-moving names in the lower tier of the L2 ranking on a percent basis, even as Base, Arbitrum and Optimism still dwarf it in absolute scale.
Bridge InflowTwo World Chain TVL figures circulate, and they describe different things. The bridge TVL counts Ethereum-side assets locked to enable use on the L2, currently around $605M. The on-chain DeFi TVL counts assets sitting inside protocols deployed on World Chain itself, which DefiLlama puts at roughly $39.7M today.
The 33% move belongs to the bridge. The on-chain figure is up sharply too on a percent basis, with chain TVL history showing a 2,567% climb from $1.5M in October 2024, but it remains a thin slice of the bridged base.
Bridge inflow shows that holders are committing capital to the L2 environment, while on-chain leverage and DEX volume are expanding more slowly. Most of the bridged stack sits idle from a DeFi-yield perspective. The active deployment is concentrated in Re7 Labs vaults and a handful of Morpho markets.
WLD Price Worldcoin's token is up 52% over the past seven days to about $0.67, with a $2.3B billion market cap and a $6.7 billion fully diluted valuation, per CoinGecko. The 30-day chart shows a 189% gain, a sharper recovery than the chain TVL alone would imply. WLD remains roughly 94% below its March 2024 peak of $11.74.
The token's recovery sequence has tracked a series of operational milestones at Tools for Humanity rather than a single trigger. Arthur Hayes exited his WLD position on June 6, days after his Maelstrom fund had publicly pitched the asset as a liquid AI-IPO trade.
World App 3 and Orb 2Tools for Humanity rolled out World App 3.0 at its Unwrapped event last December, pitching the wallet as a super-app that bundles encrypted messaging, mini-apps from Polymarket and Kalshi, and stablecoin support across USDC, EURC and several LatAm currency tokens. The verification base now sits near 7M humans across roughly 35 countries and 2,000 Orb locations, up from about 6M earlier this year.
The smaller Orb 2 hardware, unveiled by the company in April, is the operational lever Tools for Humanity is leaning on for US expansion. The company has flagged a 7,500-Orb target for the country and a manufacturing run of more than 50,000 devices per year. Partnerships with Tinder, Zoom and Docusign for human verification, announced earlier this spring, route consumer traffic into the World ID stack outside the wallet itself.
Regulatory pressure has not easedThe privacy disputes that defined Worldcoin's launch period remain mostly unresolved. Kenya's High Court declared Tools for Humanity's operations illegal in May 2025 and ordered a seven-day biometric data purge under Justice Aburili. Brazil's ANPD blanket ban issued in January 2025 has not been lifted; the regulator threatened fines of about $8,800 per day if operations resumed. Germany's BayLDA delivered a GDPR deletion order in December 2024. Spain's AEPD ban from March 2024 is still in force.
None of those jurisdictions show up in the verification footprint Tools for Humanity now markets. The company's public posture has been to describe the disputes as resolvable through compliance redesigns. Regulators have largely not agreed in writing.
What sustains the inflow trendThe L2 sits at 43rd by chain TVL on DefiLlama, behind Algorand and ahead of Vaulta. The bridge ranking puts it well inside the top tier of canonical-bridge balances among OP Stack chains. Whether the seven-day move marks a durable shift or another cycle peak depends on whether the deployed on-chain TVL catches up to the bridged base, or whether the bridge balance retraces toward where on-chain activity currently sits.
The two interpretations split cleanly on the read. If bridged capital becomes deployed capital, World Chain joins the working L2 group on more than nominal terms. If bridged capital sits idle and the WLD rally fades, the move logs as a positioning event tied to the broader Worldcoin recovery narrative rather than a structural step.
World Liberty Financial zahájila kroky k zalistování WLFI na kryptoburzách. Token, původně nepřevoditelný governance token, se už na sekundárním trhu obchoduje mezi 0,13 až 0,18 USD.
World Liberty Financial, a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform backed by President Donald Trump and his family, is poised to launch its WLFI token, which could hold significant profits for early investors.
WLFI Token Launch Approaches The company announced on July 4 that it has initiated steps to have its flagship token listed on cryptocurrency exchanges, marking a crucial milestone after months of anticipation.
The WLFI token, which was introduced last year as a non-transferable governance token, is designed to facilitate community voting on the project’s future direction.
Secondary market trading has already commenced on platforms like Whales.market and MEXC, where WLFI has recently traded between $0.13 to $0.18, a notable increase from its initial sale prices of $1.5 and $0.5.
According to the project’s white paper, entities affiliated with the Trump family may collectively hold about one-third of WLFI’s total supply of 100 billion tokens. At current prices, these holdings could represent billions of dollars on paper.
Bruno Ver, market expert and investor in the WLFI token, expressed optimism about its potential value, predicting it could reach between $2 and $5 in the near future.
If the token were to climb to $2, the stake held by the founding entities could theoretically be worth around $60 billion, making it one of the most lucrative Trump-related crypto ventures to date.
Recent estimates suggest that crypto businesses have already added approximately $620 million to Donald Trump’s personal net worth, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Experts Warn Of Risks Despite the enthusiasm surrounding WLFI, the White House has emphasized that President Trump is distanced from his business interests, having placed his assets in a family-controlled trust.
The current proposal for token release, dated July 4, aims to unlock a portion of tokens held by “early supporters,” although the term lacks a specific definition within the documentation.
Remaining tokens, including those held by founders and team members, would be subject to future votes and longer lock-up periods to signal a commitment to the project. The proposal is expected to undergo discussion and voting on the Snapshot platform, with a potential timeline extending into August.
However, experts caution that the path to a successful launch might come with risks for early holders. Lex Sokolin, managing partner at Generative Ventures, pointed out that tokens with substantial founder and investor allocations often experience significant price declines over time.
World Liberty Financial’s token launch and the Trump family’s increased interest in digital assets comes on the heels of notable regulatory changes in the US as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has adopted a more lenient stance toward crypto.
This may signal a sense of confidence from WLFI regarding regulatory scrutiny. Hilary Allen, a law professor at American University, noted that this shift suggests WLFI no longer perceives a threat from the SEC.
