NEXO zahajuje spotové obchodování na burze Kraken
NEXO Nexo
CoinGecko News 84
Original source text
Table of contents

A $10,000 position in NEXO at this morning’s $0.82 buys roughly 12,200 tokens. The market is pricing that position as if October 22 never happened: NEXO begins spot trading on Kraken today, and the token has barely moved. That is either the cheapest re-rating setup in the top 100, or a signal that an exchange listing is no longer the catalyst it was three cycles ago. The data points to the second read, and the trade only works if you respect it.

NEXO changed hands at $0.8157 as of roughly 08:10 UTC on October 22, up 0.34% over 24 hours, per CoinGecko data. Bitcoin held $82,074 (−1.2%), Ethereum $2,421 (−1.3%), and Solana $104.16 (−2.4%) in the same snapshot. NEXO’s market capitalization sits near $816 million at rank 86 — a top-100 asset still trading 80% below its $4.07 all-time high from 2022.

Coming soon: $NEXO

@Nexo is a digital assets wealth platform offering crypto-backed Credit Lines, yield, exchange and card services. The $NEXO Token is the platform’s native token.

Trading starts Oct 22

— Kraken Listings (@krakenlistings) October 20, 2026

A Listing the Market Has Already Faded Kraken’s listing desk announced the token on October 20 with a terse, two-part post: “Coming soon: $NEXO” and “Trading starts Oct 22.” The exchange describes Nexo as “a digital assets wealth platform offering crypto-backed Credit Lines, yield, exchange and card services,” and identifies the token as “the platform’s native token.” That is the full extent of the official material — no trading-pair list, no regional carve-outs, no depth commitments.

Kraken’s broader listings page frames the venue as one that “carefully vet[s]” and lists “600+ tokens” across established and emerging projects. NEXO appears on that roadmap as a confirmed listing, which is what moved the price: the token touched $0.8401 intraday after the October 20 announcement and has since slid back to $0.8123. The seven-day band is $0.8013 to $0.8401 — roughly a 4.8% range that has not broken in either direction. The listing also fits a broader push: Kraken’s parent Payward is acquiring Lithuania’s Saldo Bank to secure an EU banking license, which makes the NEXO add one tile in a European expansion rather than an isolated listing.

That is the signal. A listing that once guaranteed a double-digit pop on announcement day is now a one-day blip that fades before trading even opens. In our last money-angle screen, the Aerodrome-Velodrome merger carried a six-percent pop because it changed a structural fact — unified liquidity across seven EVM chains. A listing changes access, not structure, and the market is pricing the difference.

Why Bitcoin Is Stuck in a Two-Percent Box The backdrop is a Bitcoin market that has stopped making decisions. BTC is trading at $82,074, down 1.2% on the day after giving back a run toward $84,808, the 24-hour high. Over the past week the coin has done nothing but chop between roughly $81,000 and $84,800 while its 24-hour moves rarely exceed one percent in either direction.

The next hard date is the Federal Reserve’s policy decision on October 28. A $1.65 trillion market capitalization does not re-rate on a product announcement; it waits on the central bank. Altcoins, by contrast, can still move on a discrete, dated event — which is precisely why a trader screens a listing like this one. The question is whether the event is big enough to move a $816 million token, and the first hour of trading on October 22 is the honest test.

The NEXO Math: 2x, 10x, and the Road Back to $4.07 The money angle gets concrete fast. At $816 million, a 2x on NEXO lands at roughly $1.63 billion — no displacement required, just a move into the middle of the DeFi and lending-token field. A 10x lands at $8.16 billion, which would put NEXO above almost every lending and exchange token outside the majors and would demand a re-rating of the entire Nexo platform’s revenue story, not just a venue addition.

The more useful benchmark is the all-time high. NEXO peaked at $4.07 in 2022 and now trades 80% below it. Reclaiming that level at the current circulating supply implies a market capitalization of roughly $4.07 billion — about five times today’s $816 million. Framed another way, the $10,000 position at $0.82 becomes roughly $49,900 if the token ever revisits its record. That is the entire bull case in one number, and it is also the reason the setup demands patience: the path from $0.82 to $4.07 is a 400% move that nothing in the Kraken announcement promises.

The seven-day chart lays the case out plainly. NEXO drifted from $0.8337 on October 16 to $0.8123 by October 22, and the October 20 listing announcement produced only a brief touch of $0.8401 that has since faded. That is not the shape of a market scrambling to front-run a major listing; it is the shape of a token whose holders have already seen this movie.

Where This Trade Breaks The skeptical case writes itself. First, a listing is access, not demand — the token is available, but nothing in Kraken’s post commits volume, market makers, or new fiat rails. Second, NEXO is down 80% from its record for reasons a listing does not touch: a lending platform’s token trades on yield, on regulatory standing, and on the health of its loan book, not on how many venues list it. Nexo has spent years rebuilding compliance in Europe, including its MiCA alignment work, and that is the story that will move the price or fail to.

Third, the supply mechanics matter. NEXO pays yield and incentives in its native token, so the float is not static. A buyer has to ask what the token’s circulating supply looks like a year from now, not just today. Finally, the invalidation is clean: if NEXO cannot hold $0.80 — the bottom of its seven-day range — the listing premium is already spent, and the trade thesis is broken. The re-rating case only opens above $0.84, where the announcement pop stalled.

Frequently Asked Questions What is the NEXO price today? NEXO traded near $0.82 on October 22, 2026, up about 0.34% over 24 hours, with a market capitalization of roughly $816 million and a rank near 86 by market cap.

When does NEXO start trading on Kraken? Kraken’s listing desk said “Trading starts Oct 22” in its October 20 announcement, with the NEXO token confirmed on Kraken’s asset listings roadmap.

Why is NEXO not moving more on the Kraken listing? The token popped to $0.8401 on the October 20 announcement and has since faded to about $0.81, because a listing changes access rather than the platform’s revenue, yield, or regulatory standing.

Can NEXO return to its all-time high of $4.07? A return to the 2022 record high of $4.07 would imply a market capitalization near $4.07 billion at current supply, roughly five times today’s level — a move that depends on platform fundamentals, not venue count.

What is Nexo? Nexo is a digital assets wealth platform offering crypto-backed credit lines, yield, exchange, and card services; the NEXO token is its native token.

Bakkt positions its infrastructure as purpose-built for financial institutions, fintech platforms, and digital asset firms.

What do Nexo's certifications actually mean?Nexo’s information security practices are assessed against internationally recognized frameworks. An independent audit firm reviews SOC 2 Type 2 every year. Accredited certification bodies issue the ISO 27001, 27017, and 27018 certificates and check them through periodic surveillance audits. CSA STAR Level 1 is a self-assessment that Nexo publishes openly. A certification only helps if you know what it tests, so here is each one in plain terms.

SOC 2 Type 2, audited by A-LIGN, three years in a row.

What it checks: An external audit firm examines how Nexo handles data and who can access it, then tests whether those controls continue to work over time, not just on a single day. The 2025 audit also covers privacy. Why it matters: It's the difference between a company saying it has safeguards and an auditor confirming they operated.SOC 3 Type 2, the public version.

What it is: the same evaluation, written for a general audience. The full SOC 2 report contains sensitive details, so it isn't published. SOC 3 is the open summary, based on the AICPA's criteria for security, availability, and confidentiality. Why it matters: It makes the audit result public. Nexo can share the outcome openly instead of just saying it passed.ISO 27001 - the international standard for managing information security.

What it checks: Whether a company runs security as a continuous, documented process: finding risks, setting controls, and reviewing them regularly. Why it matters: It shows repeatable discipline, not one-off fixes.ISO 27017, for cloud services (certified by RINA).

What it checks: The additional controls that services running in the cloud need. Why it matters: Nexo's platform runs on cloud infrastructure, so this covers where client data actually lives.ISO 27018, for personal data in the cloud (certified by RINA).

What it checks: How personal information, such as client identity details, is handled and kept private in cloud environments. Why it matters: It puts the handling of your personal data under an audited international standard.CSA STAR Level 1, a public cloud registry entry.

What it is: The Cloud Security Alliance is an industry group that sets best practices for cloud security. It asks providers 261 questions about how they manage and control their cloud systems. CSA STAR Level 1 is a self-assessment of Nexo’s cloud controls, published in CSA’s public registry. Why it matters: The answers are open to everyone, so you can read them and compare them with other providers.Taken together, they answer three questions: does Nexo follow recognized standards, has an outside party tested that it does, and can you read the results yourself? For background on the latest audit cycle, see Nexo completes third consecutive SOC 2 and SOC 3 audits.

Important note: Security audits and certifications assess information security controls.

What US licenses does Nexo hold directly?Nexo Financial LLC holds a California Financing Law license (No. 60DBO-109416), issued by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI), permitting state-regulated lending activities. Custody and digital asset trading services for US clients are facilitated through its licensed partner, Bakkt.

What do clients say about Nexo?On Trustpilot, Nexo is rated 4.4 out of 5 from 18,751 reviews (as of October 20, 2026). Read client reviews on Trustpilot.

Nexo Australia spouští regulované úvěrové linky
NEXO Nexo

Nexo gets appointed as a Credit Representative and launches Credit Lines within Australia’s consumer credit frameworkNexo’s locally structured Credit Lines enable eligible clients to access liquidity without selling their digital assets The launch extends Nexo’s Australian presence to a full digital asset wealth proposition as Australian crypto ownership matures and demand for personal credit continues to growSYDNEY, Australia, August 19, 2026 — Nexo Australia has been appointed as a Credit Representative, launching the company’s pioneering Credit Lines in Australia fully under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act and giving clients the safeguards that only come with borrowing from a regulated lender.

The milestone makes Nexo one of a small number of digital asset platforms offering a regulated crypto-backed credit in Australia. Nexo Australia is locally incorporated, registered with AUSTRAC as a Virtual Asset Service Provider, and a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).

Nexo's Credit Lines — together with the Nexo Booster and Wealth Club loyalty programme — join Nexo's existing Nexo Exchange and the newly rebranded Growth product, bringing Nexo's full suite together under one unified platform in Australia.

Regulated access to liquidity without selling digital assetsThe Credit Lines let eligible clients access liquidity against their digital assets without selling them — preserving long-term market exposure. Interest rates range from 0.9% to 21.9% p.a., depending on a client’s loyalty tier and Credit Line version. Clients can borrow against a wide range of eligible digital assets, with funds typically available within 24 hours. The Credit Lines offer no fixed term, no origination fees, and flexible repayments.

Nexo is one of the few digital asset credit providers in Australia to offer payouts in either AUD or stablecoins. Australian clients also receive a dedicated AUD account number for deposits, reducing delays and errors Australians commonly face when transferring funds to crypto platforms. The Credit Lines include Collateral Exchange, allowing clients to swap between eligible collateral assets without interrupting their Credit Line, making it easier to rebalance their portfolio as market conditions evolve.

The Nexo Booster, part of the newly launched products in Australia, enables clients to magnify their digital assets by up to three times, using new positions as collateral.

Nexo Growth returns to AustraliaNexo’s growth product returns to Australia as Nexo Growth, letting clients receive up to 10% p.a. on Supported Assets — Rates vary by asset and term, and Returns are not guaranteed. Clients can choose Flexible Growth, where Returns accrue daily and funds can be withdrawn on request, or Fixed-term Growth, which offers a higher Return Rate over a set period.

One platform for digital wealth The more clients use the platform, the more they get back. Nexo's Wealth Club rewards higher activity with better Credit Line rates, cashback, and lifestyle perks — from merchandise and event tickets to exclusive hospitality — across four tiers. The programme was named Best Wealth Client Loyalty Programme for Digital CX at The Digital Banker's 2025 Digital CX Awards.

Nexo enters this next phase from a position of strength, as adoption continues and more Australians look for ways to put their digital assets to work — with a single platform to borrow, grow, and manage digital wealth.

Nearly one in three Australians now owns cryptocurrency1. At the same time, Australia recorded A$9.8 billion in new personal fixed-term loan commitments in the March quarter of 2026, up 14.5 per cent year-on-year2. Yet much of the digital asset market remains focused on buying, selling and storing crypto, creating an opportunity for services that help Australians access liquidity, receive returns, and manage their assets as part of a broader wealth strategy.

"The Australian market is ready for a better, more integrated model. We built these products to give Australian clients highly cost-competitive credit and the ability to put their digital assets to work, whilst assessing each product against the applicable Australian framework, and building regulatory requirements and consumer protections into the design from the outset," said Peter Stanhope, General Manager for Australia at Nexo. The launch builds on Nexo's established local presence, including its role as the first Official Crypto Partner of the Australian Open, and Nexo Group's position as one of the largest crypto lenders globally, with over US$7 billion in assets under management and clients in more than 200 jurisdictions.

Nexo spouští v Argentině Nexo Card
NEXO Nexo

The award-winning, world-first crypto debit-and-credit card arrives in Argentina alongside a leadership transition, positioning Buenos Aires as Nexo's regional hub for Latin America.

Buenos Aires, July 08, 2026 — Nexo, the premier digital assets wealth platform, today launched the Nexo Card in Argentina, timed with the appointment of Andres Ondarra as General Manager, Nexo Argentina. These two milestones mark the next stage of Nexo's growth in a market where digital asset adoption runs deeper than almost anywhere else  — the highest share of any market surveyed.

The Nexo Card lets clients spend digital assets directly in debit mode or borrow against them as collateral in credit mode, without selling — switching between the two in a single interface. New clients get 10% back on their first swipe, plus additional cashback and milestone rewards worth up to USD 450 in total over their first three months as they earn up to 13% annual interest on idle in-app balances, paid daily. Cardholders also get fee-free ATM withdrawals of up to USD 1,000 and fee-free foreign-currency spending of up to USD 2,000 each month, alongside a monthly rebate on a leading subscription service and annual airport lounge access with fast-track security. The card has been recognized by the Digital Banker Awards, the FinTech Breakthrough Awards, and the PAY360 Awards.

Powerful benefits, no matter how you spend.Spending in ARS and US$: Clients can pay in pesos at home with no currency conversion, or spend US$ at over 100 million merchants worldwide.Borrowing from 1.9% per year: Users can spend against their crypto with the only crypto credit card of its kind in Argentina.Interest on account balance: Nexo clients can receive up to 13% per year on the funds they haven't spent, paid out daily. No monthly, annual, or inactivity fees — plus a monthly allowance of up to US$1,000 in ATM withdrawals.Stay in control at all times: Various ways to manage your spending, balances, and rewards in-app, complete with card freezes, spending controls, and biometric locks.Beyond everyday spending: Clients can unlock airport lounge access, fast-track security, and rebates on subscriptions like Netflix and Spotify as your portfolio grows."Argentine clients have spent a decade making digital assets part of how they manage wealth. The Nexo Card is built precisely for that — letting them spend in debit mode, borrow against their holdings in credit mode, and earn from every transaction, all without having to sell. It's the freedom to live on that wealth, not just hold it," said Andres Ondarra, incoming General Manager, Nexo Argentina.

Ondarra brings more than 25 years of experience across traditional finance, fintech, and crypto in Latin America, including a background in Wall Street investment banking. From August 1, he will lead Nexo Argentina's operations, with a focus on client trust and the company's continued growth in the country.

He succeeds Federico Ogue, who oversaw Nexo's Argentine expansion and is transitioning to a new entrepreneurial venture. "Argentina has one of the most sophisticated crypto and fintech ecosystems in the region, and the work Nexo has done here is something to be proud of. I look forward to passing the baton to Andres, who brings exactly the experience and vision to lead Nexo's next stage of growth in Argentina," said Ogue.

Argentina processed approximately USD 93.9 billion in digital-asset transactions over three years, ranking second in Latin America behind Brazil. With capital already moved into digital assets, the Nexo Card addresses what comes next: everyday utility — spending, borrowing, and earning from those holdings without selling them.

With Buenos Aires now established as a regional hub, Nexo is investing in local infrastructure, sport partnerships — including the AFA — and a local team supporting clients across Latin America. Eligible clients in Argentina can apply for the Nexo Card through the Nexo app and website.
