Recognition Highlights Company's Leadership in Enabling Advanced Heterogeneous Integration and AI-Driven Semiconductor Innovation
FORT WASHINGTON, Pa., /PRNewswire/ -- Kulicke & Soffa Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: KLIC) ("Kulicke & Soffa," "K&S" or the "Company") today announced that it has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 SEMI Award for North America, one of the semiconductor industry's highest honors recognizing exceptional technical and commercial contributions to semiconductor manufacturing.
The award recognizes Kulicke & Soffa's pioneering formic acid in-situ bonding technology, an innovative Fluxless Thermo Compression bonding (FTC) solution that addresses critical interconnect scaling challenges and is actively enabling the next generation of heterogeneous integration architectures supporting artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and advanced photonics applications.
Presented during the CEO Summit Keynotes at SEMICON West, the award underscores the growing industry adoption and significance of K&S's advanced packaging portfolio, including its industry-leading APTURA™ platform.
"As semiconductor performance is now critically dependent on advanced packaging and heterogeneous integration, the industry's ability to scale interconnect density efficiently and economically becomes more important than ever," said Raj Talluri, Chief Executive Officer of Kulicke & Soffa. "We are honored to receive this recognition from SEMI. This award reflects the ingenuity, dedication, and relentless execution of our global teams, who continue to develop innovative solutions which enable customers to overcome the industry's most complex manufacturing challenges."
Traditional Thermo-Compression bonding often requires a post-bond flux cleaning processes that becomes increasingly difficult at finer interconnect pitches. At the same time, hybrid bonding solutions, while highly capable, can introduce significant manufacturing complexity and cost. Kulicke & Soffa's proprietary Fluxless Thermo-Compression bonding technology combines advanced plasma pre-cleaning and in-situ formic acid oxide reduction to deliver high-yield, ultra-fine-pitch interconnect capabilities while simplifying the manufacturing processes and reducing production costs.
FTC technology has become a foundational element of the Company's advanced packaging roadmap and enables customers to pursue interconnect pitches below 10 microns while supporting applications across wafer-level, substrate-level, and panel-level manufacturing environments.
"This recognition validates our innovation-driven strategy of selecting differentiated technologies that solve real customer challenges," said John Molnar, VP & General Manager, Advanced Solutions. "By enabling hybrid-bonding-class performance with more accessible manufacturing, we are accelerating the adoption of advanced packaging solutions required for next-generation AI, high-performance computing, silicon photonics, and other rapidly growing semiconductor markets."
The award further reinforces Kulicke & Soffa's position as a leading provider of semiconductor interconnect solutions. The company's advanced packaging portfolio spans thermocompression bonding, hybrid bonding enablement technologies, wedge bonding, and vertical interconnect solutions that support some of the industry's most complex heterogeneous applications.
As semiconductor complexity continues to increase, interconnect and packaging innovations are now a requirement in delivering system-level performance across the semiconductor space. This award highlights the critical role Kulicke & Soffa is playing to shape the industry's future.

This suggests that the stock is overvalued based on GuruFocus' proprietary intrinsic value assessment, which takes into account historical trading multiples, past business growth, and estimates of future performance. The GF Value™ serves as a benchmark for investors to evaluate whether a stock is trading above or below its estimated fair value.
With the current price exceeding the GF Value™, KLIC presents a potential risk for investors. The GF Valuation label indicates that the stock is "Modestly Overvalued," which implies that there may be limited upside if the market corrects to align with intrinsic values. Consequently, investors may face a scenario where current valuations do not provide a sufficient margin of safety for new investment positions.

This indicates that the stock is trading at a significantly higher valuation compared to its historical average. The Momentum rank of 9/10 also reflects the stock's recent positive price performance. However, its Growth rank of 5/10 suggests that growth may not be as robust as desired, which could be a consideration for potential investors.
What Are Gurus and Insiders Doing with KLIC?Currently, 6 gurus hold positions in KLIC, with 2 adding to their stakes while 5 have trimmed their positions in recent quarters. This mixed sentiment from experienced investors shows a cautious approach toward the stock, which could indicate varying perspectives on its valuation.
In addition, insider activity reveals that insiders sold a total of $18.4M worth of shares over the past year, with no buying activity reported. This trend of selling, without any insider purchases, may raise concerns regarding the company's short-term prospects or valuation, as insiders often have better insights into their companies' future performance.
What This Means for InvestorsBased on the analysis, Kulicke & Soffa Industries Inc KLIC appears to be overvalued at its current price of $89.54 when compared to the GF Value™ estimate of $77.16. Key Takeaways KLIC is expected to post June-quarter revenue of $310M, up from $148.41M a year earlier.Kulicke & Soffa is benefiting from AI packaging demand and stronger adoption of TCB systems.KLIC faces higher costs, cyclical chip demand and China-related trade and geopolitical risks. Kulicke & Soffa Industries (KLIC - Free Report) is set to report third-quarter fiscal 2026 results on Aug 05, before after the closing bell. In the trailing four quarters, the company delivered an earnings surprise of 23.8%, beating estimates on all occasions.
The leading provider of semiconductor packaging and electronic assembly solutions is expected to witness a top-line expansion backed by healthy traction in AI infrastructure space. Strong focus on innovation is a positive. However, growing operating expenses, macro headwinds and geopolitical volatility are concerns.
Factor at PlayKulicke & Soffa is likely to continue benefiting from robust demand in the AI infrastructure vertical. Rising deployment of AI servers, networking equipment and data center hardware has increased the need for advanced semiconductor packaging.
The company's Thermo-Compression Bonding business remains one of its strongest growth engines. As chipmakers increasingly adopt advanced packaging technologies for AI processors, demand for KLIC's TCB systems has continued to improve. Growing adoption across integrated device manufacturers, foundries and outsourced semiconductor assembly providers is expected to have driven higher shipments. These factors are expected to have a favorable impact on upcoming quarterly results.
The automotive and industrial markets are expected to remain strong contributors. Semiconductor content continues to increase across modern vehicles and industrial applications. This has created additional growth opportunities for the company.
It has been steadily advancing its portfolio by introducing new packaging and dispensing solutions. This is expanding its addressable market beyond traditional wire bonding equipment. Improving conditions in the memory market could be another tailwind for the company.
However, increased operating expenses due to higher incentive compensation, additional hiring and greater R&D investment in advanced packaging technologies could impact margins. KLIC's business remains highly cyclical. Any slowdown in semiconductor equipment investment could significantly affect its top line. The company is exposed to the demand environment in China. Trade-related uncertainties and adverse geopolitical developments can hinder operations.
Overall ExpectationsFor the June quarter, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for total revenues is pegged at $310 million, indicating an improvement from the year-ago quarter’s reported figure of $148.41 million. These non-GAAP measures are consistent with the way management analyzes and assesses the Company's operating results. The Company believes these non-GAAP measures enhance investors' understanding of the Company's underlying operational performance, as well as their ability to compare the Company's period-to-period financial results and the Company's overall performance to that of its competitors.
Management uses both GAAP metrics as well as these non-GAAP metrics to evaluate the Company's operating and financial results. Non-GAAP financial measures may not provide information that is directly comparable to that provided by other companies in the Company's industry, as other companies in the industry may calculate non-GAAP financial results differently. In addition, there are limitations in using non-GAAP financial measures because the non-GAAP financial measures are not prepared in accordance with GAAP, may be different from non-GAAP financial measures used by other companies and exclude expenses that may have a material impact on the Company's reported financial results. The presentation of non-GAAP items is meant to supplement, but not substitute for, GAAP financial measures or information. The Company believes the presentation of non-GAAP results in combination with GAAP results provides better transparency to the investment community when analyzing business trends, providing meaningful comparisons with prior period performance and enhancing investors' ability to view the Company's results from management's perspective. A reconciliation of each non-GAAP financial measure to the most directly comparable GAAP measure discussed in this press release is contained in the financial tables at the end of this press release.

Key Takeaways KLIC beat fiscal second-quarter earnings and revenue estimates as demand recovered faster than expected.KLIC expects fiscal 2026 TCB revenue above $100 million and is building $400 million in annual capacity.KLIC sees TCB demand broadening across IDMs, foundries and OSATs, with fabless engagement also growing. Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. (KLIC - Free Report) used its fiscal second-quarter 2026 earnings call to frame a faster demand recovery and a larger commitment to advanced packaging capacity.
Earnings of $1.20 per share beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.00. Revenues of $330.41 million topped the $310 million consensus.
KLIC Sees a Broader Demand RecoveryInterim CEO and CFO Lester Wong said demand improved faster than management had expected, with customer sentiment strong and utilization above average across the company’s largest served markets.
General Semiconductor revenues increased 19.4% sequentially to $148.9 million, while memory shipments rose 93% to $31.3 million. Automotive and Industrial shipments climbed 63%, driven mainly by high-I/O and power-related packaging demand.
Wong said China utilization was about 92%, with strength also visible in Korea, Japan and Taiwan. Southeast Asia remained softer, while North America and Europe showed improvement.
Kulicke & Soffa Builds for TCB GrowthInterim CEO and CFO Lester Wong positioned Fluxless ThermoCompression bonding as the centerpiece of KLIC’s advanced packaging expansion. Management expects fiscal 2026 TCB revenues to exceed $100 million and grow at least 70% sequentially.
KLIC plans to expand Advanced Solutions production capacity to support approximately $400 million in annual TCB system sales. The capacity increase is expected to be substantially available during the first half of fiscal 2027.
The company expects $20 million of capital expenditures for the expansion, with $12 million deployed in fiscal 2026. Wong linked the investment to growing engagement from IDMs, foundries, OSATs and fabless customers.
KLIC Broadens Its Packaging PipelineInterim CEO and CFO Lester Wong said logic and heterogeneous packaging should drive most near-term TCB growth. KLIC also delivered its first HBM system in December, and that tool remained in qualification.
The company is increasing resources for HBM, panel-level architecture and hybrid bonding. Wong said hybrid bonding remains several years from broad adoption, leaving TCB as the current production solution for complex heterogeneous applications.
Vertical Wire is positioned as a longer-term memory opportunity, with more meaningful contribution expected from fiscal 2027 onward. KLIC is also advancing new power semiconductor, memory and dispense systems.
Kulicke & Soffa Sets a Higher Operating PaceInterim CEO and CFO Lester Wong guided fiscal third-quarter revenues to approximately $310 million, with gross margin around 48%. Non-GAAP earnings are targeted at $1 per share.
Non-GAAP operating expenses are expected to reach $85 million. Wong attributed the increase to variable incentive compensation, sales commissions and critical headcount supporting advanced packaging programs.
Management also expects fiscal fourth-quarter revenues to increase 5% to 10% sequentially. Wong said visibility had improved across both the core business and Advanced Solutions through the rest of calendar 2026.
KLIC Q&A Tests the Capacity BetA TD Cowen analyst asked which customers were driving TCB demand. Interim CEO and CFO Lester Wong said growth was broadening across IDMs, foundries and OSATs, with engagement also extending to fabless customers.
A Steelhead Securities analyst questioned whether the $400 million capacity target reflected share gains or market growth. Wong said KLIC expected both, citing additional logic qualifications, potential HBM entry and broader customer adoption.
A Needham analyst asked whether the higher revenue level could be sustained. Wong reinforced management’s fiscal fourth-quarter sequential growth outlook and described business strength as broad-based.
Kulicke & Soffa Keeps Execution CentralManagement’s tone combined confidence in demand with a clear focus on execution. Interim CEO and CFO Lester Wong emphasized production expansion, targeted hiring and continued research and development investment.
The company’s priorities remain converting customer interest into TCB growth, supporting core-market capacity additions and advancing longer-duration packaging technologies without abandoning cost discipline.
KLIC’s Zacks Signals Remain MixedKLIC carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold), indicating a neutral near-term earnings estimate revision signal. The stock has a Momentum Score of A, but Value, Growth and VGM Score of F. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

Kulicke and Soffa is rated Buy, with a $114 price target, reflecting confidence in its dual growth engines and balance sheet strength. KLIC's legacy wire-bonding franchise funds its transition to advanced packaging, while new products like APTURA and ProMEM drive future earnings. Management expects thermo-compression bonding revenue to exceed $100M in FY26 and reach $150–$200M in FY27, supporting modest multiple expansion.

The recent downturn comes as the stock has experienced significant volatility, with a year-to-date increase of 103.0% and a one-year surge of 155.2%.
GF Value™ verdict: Current price is $92.06, which is 27.6% above the GF Value™ estimate of $72.15, indicating it is overvalued.GF Score™ of 75/100 suggests the stock is above average in terms of its fundamentals.Notable signal: Insiders have sold $18.4M in stock over the past year, indicating potential concerns regarding future performance. Is KLIC Overvalued or Undervalued? The current price of Kulicke & Soffa Industries Inc KLIC at $92.06 is substantially higher than the GF Value™ estimate of $72.15, indicating that the stock is 27.6% overvalued. The GF Value™ is GuruFocus' proprietary intrinsic value estimate, calculated based on historical trading multiples, past business growth, and projections for future performance. This valuation suggests a lack of margin of safety for potential investors, as the stock is trading well above its assessed fair value.
Given the GF Valuation label of "Modestly Overvalued," there is an inherent risk for investors considering KLIC at this price point. If the market sentiment shifts or the company's performance does not meet expectations, the stock could face significant downward pressure. The overvaluation also highlights the importance of carefully assessing the underlying fundamental metrics before making any investment decisions.
How Does KLIC's Valuation Compare to Its History?MetricCurrentHistoricalP/E (TTM)42.4x28.9x (5-Year Median)Forward P/E15.6xN/AKulicke & Soffa's current P/E ratio of 42.4x is significantly above its 5-year median of 28.9x, reflecting a 47% premium over historical valuation levels. This analysis aligns with the GF Value™ verdict, underscoring KLIC's current overvaluation. The forward P/E of 15.6x offers a glimmer of hope for future earnings potential, but the stark contrast with the trailing P/E suggests that current market expectations may be overly optimistic.
What Does KLIC's GF Score™ Tell Us?GF Score™ is a composite score that evaluates a company's overall financial health based on various metrics, including profitability, financial strength, growth potential, valuation, and momentum. Kulicke & Soffa's score of 75/100 indicates that it is performing above average relative to its peers. The strongest sub-rank is its financial strength, rated 10/10, while its weakest areas include profitability and valuation, both rated at 5/10.
MetricRatingGF Score™75Financial Strength10/10Profitability6/10Growth5/10Valuation5/10Momentum6/10The high financial strength score indicates a solid foundation with robust balance sheet metrics, providing confidence in the company's ability to weather economic downturns. However, the mediocre profitability and valuation ranks could be red flags for investors, suggesting that while the company is financially stable, its ability to generate profit relative to its valuation may be lacking.
What Are Gurus and Insiders Doing with KLIC?Kulicke & Soffa is currently held by 7 gurus, with 2 adding to their positions and 7 trimming their holdings in recent quarters. This mixed sentiment among institutional investors signals a cautious outlook on the stock's prospects. Additionally, insider activity reveals that insiders have sold a substantial $18.4 million worth of shares over the past year, with no reported purchases. This selling activity could indicate a lack of confidence in the stock's near-term performance or a desire to realize gains after a significant appreciation in stock price.
The combination of guru activity and insider selling is a crucial signal for investors, as it suggests that even those with deep knowledge of the company are adjusting their positions amid uncertainty. This trend warrants careful consideration for potential investors thinking about entering KLIC at current price levels.
What This Means for InvestorsBased on the GF Value™ assessment, Kulicke & Soffa Industries Inc KLIC is currently overvalued, trading at a price significantly above its intrinsic value estimate. The combination of a high P/E ratio relative to historical levels and the mixed signals from insider and guru activity suggests a cautious approach. Investors should tread carefully, considering both the potential risks and the solid financial position of the company before making any decisions.

Semiconductor assembly component company Kulicke & Soffa Industries (KLIC +1.13%) wasn't a bright light on the stock exchange on Tuesday. On news of a major C-Suite change, plus a degree of profit-taking, investors aggressively sold its shares, leaving them with an almost 10% loss that trading session.
New leader incoming That morning, Kulicke & Soffa announced that Raj Talluri is to become its CEO and president. He will replace interim CEO Lester Wong in the role, with Wong concentrating on the CFO duties he held as a dual executive. That switch takes effect on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
The move to a permanent CEO has been quite some time in coming. The departure of the company's last non-interim leader, Fusen Chen, was announced toward the end of last October. At that time, Kulicke & Soffa wrote that Chen was retiring from his position for unspecified health reasons.
On his LinkedIn page, Talluri is still listed as CEO and president of next-generation battery developer Enovix. Previously, he served in high managerial roles for companies such as Micron Technology and Qualcomm.

A long stretch I don't think the market's bearish reaction was due to the quality of Talluri's leadership, given his impressive career at several tech hardware companies.
This feels more like concern that the succession to a new permanent leader took a long while, in an industry that needs to react quickly in an always-changing environment. I also believe opportunistic investors took this as a chance to book profits after the company reported an impressive, estimates-crushing third quarter earlier this month.
I feel Kulicke & Soffa stock will rebound from this sell-off.

Revenues surged 122.6% year over year to $330.4 million and surpassed the consensus mark by 6.6%. Revenues also increased 36.2% sequentially. The strong quarterly performance, along with improving order visibility, indicates that multiple growth engines could support Kulicke and Soffa beyond the current semiconductor recovery.
AI & Data-Center Expansion Drives KLIC’s GrowthRapid expansion of AI infrastructure remains one of the most important catalysts for Kulicke and Soffa. Growing AI workloads require increasingly sophisticated logic, memory, networking, storage and power-management semiconductors, generating demand for both advanced packaging and established wire-bonding technologies.
Data centers require substantial volumes of chips assembled with conventional wire bonding for networking, communications, storage and power-management applications. Management noted that AI-driven data-center expansion is increasing requirements for its thermal-compression and wire-bonding solutions. This allows KLIC to benefit from AI infrastructure spending through both its newer advanced solutions and its large installed base of traditional bonding equipment.
The strength was evident in the General Semiconductor business, where revenues surged 52.6% sequentially to $227.2 million in the fiscal third quarter. Although AI and data centers remain major catalysts, management is also witnessing a broader recovery in traditional semiconductor markets, which should diversify the company's growth trajectory.
Advanced Packaging Offers a Significant Growth RunwayIncreasing semiconductor complexity represents another major opportunity. High-performance logic and memory devices are increasingly adopting heterogeneous integration architectures that combine multiple dies and technologies within sophisticated packages.
This transition directly benefits Kulicke and Soffa's Fluxless Thermo-Compression Bonding (TCB) solutions. Advanced Solutions revenues increased roughly 20% sequentially in the fiscal third quarter, setting another quarterly record. Management continues to expect Advanced Solutions revenues to exceed $100 million in fiscal 2026.
KLIC is expanding Advanced Solutions manufacturing capacity to support roughly $400 million in annual TCB system sales. The increased production footprint should allow the company to address rising demand as heterogeneous integration becomes more mainstream.

SINGAPORE, Aug. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: KLIC) ("Kulicke & Soffa," "K&S" or the "Company"), today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a quarterly dividend of $0.205 per share of common stock. The dividend will be payable on October 7, 2026, to shareholders of record as of September 17, 2026.
Shares of Kulicke and Soffa (KLIC - Free Report) have gained 2.4% over the past four weeks to close the last trading session at $84.88, but there could still be a solid upside left in the stock if short-term price targets of Wall Street analysts are any indication. Going by the price targets, the mean estimate of $106.67 indicates a potential upside of 25.7%.
The mean estimate comprises three short-term price targets with a standard deviation of $7.64. While the lowest estimate of $100.00 indicates a 17.8% increase from the current price level, the most optimistic analyst expects the stock to surge 35.5% to reach $115.00. It's very important to note the standard deviation here, as it helps understand the variability of the estimates. The smaller the standard deviation, the greater the agreement among analysts.
While the consensus price target is highly sought after by investors, the ability and unbiasedness of analysts in setting price targets have long been questionable. And investors making investment decisions solely based on this tool would arguably do themselves a disservice.
But, for KLIC, an impressive average price target is not the only indicator of a potential upside. Strong agreement among analysts about the company's ability to report better earnings than they predicted earlier strengthens this view. While a positive trend in earnings estimate revisions doesn't gauge how much a stock could gain, it has proven to be powerful in predicting an upside.
Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise
Here's What You Should Know About Analysts' Price TargetsAccording to researchers at several universities across the globe, a price target is one of many pieces of information about a stock that misleads investors far more often than it guides. In fact, empirical research shows that price targets set by several analysts, irrespective of the extent of agreement, rarely indicate where the price of a stock could actually be heading.
While Wall Street analysts have deep knowledge of a company's fundamentals and the sensitivity of its business to economic and industry issues, many of them tend to set overly optimistic price targets. Are you wondering why?
They usually do that to drum up interest in shares of companies that their firms either have existing business relationships with or are looking to be associated with. In other words, business incentives of firms covering a stock often result in inflated price targets set by analysts.
However, a tight clustering of price targets, which is represented by a low standard deviation, indicates that analysts have a high degree of agreement about the direction and magnitude of a stock's price movement. While that doesn't necessarily mean the stock will hit the average price target, it could be a good starting point for further research aimed at identifying the potential fundamental driving forces.
That said, while investors should not entirely ignore price targets, making an investment decision solely based on them could lead to disappointing ROI. So, price targets should always be treated with a high degree of skepticism.
Why KLIC Could Witness a Solid UpsideAnalysts' growing optimism over the company's earnings prospects, as indicated by strong agreement among them in revising EPS estimates higher, could be a legitimate reason to expect an upside in the stock. That's because empirical research shows a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.
Over the last 30 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has increased 18.4%, as two estimates have moved higher compared to no negative revision.
Moreover, KLIC currently has a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), which means it is in the top 5% of more than 4,000 stocks that we rank based on four factors related to earnings estimates. Given an impressive externally-audited track record, this is a more conclusive indication of the stock's potential upside in the near term. Therefore, while the consensus price target may not be a reliable indicator of how much KLIC could gain, the direction of price movement it implies does appear to be a good guide.

A downtrend has been apparent in Kulicke and Soffa (KLIC - Free Report) lately. While the stock has lost 7.7% over the past week, it could witness a trend reversal as a hammer chart pattern was formed in its last trading session. This could mean that the bulls have been able to counteract the bears to help the stock find support.
While the formation of a hammer pattern is a technical indication of nearing a bottom with potential exhaustion of selling pressure, rising optimism among Wall Street analysts about the future earnings of this semiconductor equipment maker is a solid fundamental factor that enhances the prospects of a trend reversal for the stock.
What is a Hammer Chart and How to Trade It?This is one of the popular price patterns in candlestick charting. A minor difference between the opening and closing prices forms a small candle body, and a higher difference between the low of the day and the open or close forms a long lower wick (or vertical line). The length of the lower wick being at least twice the length of the real body, the candle resembles a 'hammer.'
In simple terms, during a downtrend, with bears having absolute control, a stock usually opens lower compared to the previous day's close, and again closes lower. On the day the hammer pattern is formed, maintaining the downtrend, the stock makes a new low. However, after eventually finding support at the low of the day, some amount of buying interest emerges, pushing the stock up to close the session near or slightly above its opening price.
When it occurs at the bottom of a downtrend, this pattern signals that the bears might have lost control over the price. And, the success of bulls in stopping the price from falling further indicates a potential trend reversal.
Hammer candles can occur on any timeframe -- such as one-minute, daily, weekly -- and are utilized by both short-term as well as long-term investors.
Like every technical indicator, the hammer chart pattern has its limitations. Particularly, as the strength of a hammer depends on its placement on the chart, it should always be used in conjunction with other bullish indicators.
Here's What Makes the Trend Reversal More Likely for KLICAn upward trend in earnings estimate revisions that KLIC has been witnessing lately can certainly be considered a bullish indicator on the fundamental side. That's because empirical research shows that trends in earnings estimate revisions are strongly correlated with near-term stock price movements.
The consensus EPS estimate for the current year has increased 18.4% over the last 30 days. This means that the Wall Street analysts covering KLIC are majorly in agreement about the company's potential to report better earnings than what they predicted earlier.
If this is not enough, you should note that KLIC currently has a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), which means it is in the top 5% of more than 4,000 stocks that we rank based on trends in earnings estimate revisions and EPS surprises. And stocks carrying a Zacks Rank #1 or 2 usually outperform the market. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) stocks here >>>> .
Moreover, the Zacks Rank has proven to be an excellent timing indicator, helping investors identify precisely when a company's prospects are beginning to improve. So, for the shares of Kulicke and Soffa, a Zacks Rank of 1 is a more conclusive fundamental indication of a potential turnaround.

About Ambiq Micro (Get Free Report)
Our mission is to enable intelligence (artificial intelligence (AI) and beyond) everywhere by delivering the lowest power semiconductor solutions. We are a pioneer and leading provider of ultra-low power semiconductor solutions designed to address the significant power consumption challenges of general purpose and AI compute – especially at the edge. Our customers rely on Ambiq to deliver AI compute closer to end users (edge environments) where power consumption challenges are the most severe. Our leading position is built upon our hardware and software innovations that deliver two to five times lower power consumption than traditional semiconductor designs. Our products power over 270 million devices today. We shipped more than 42 million units in 2024, and we estimate that over 40% of them ran AI algorithms. We seek to drive growth in AI adoption at the edge in the personal devices, medical/healthcare, industrial edge, and smart home and building markets and continue to set new standards in edge AI performance and power efficiency. Over time, we expect to integrate our ultra-low power technology into additional chip products that benefit from greater power efficiency, including high-performance compute applications such as AI data centers and automotive. AI is perhaps the most disruptive and revolutionary technology trend of recent history, estimated to represent $23 trillion of global annual spend by 2040, according to McKinsey. AI use cases continue to permeate our lives and improve our daily productivity by enabling us to interact with devices via voice and gestures, unlock our homes with facial recognition, track health accurately and intelligently, and hold clear calls amidst loud background noise. To date, a majority of AI compute has been deployed in data centers due to its large physical scale and the need for wall plug energy, as AI compute requires enormous and steady energy resources. At the edge, however, power limitations have been especially acute due to small device size and limited battery life. We believe this greatly constrains the potential of AI to improve our daily, on-the-go lives. Enabling AI at the edge – where the action takes place – with vastly improved power efficiency will allow faster real-time decision-making due to data proximity, greater data privacy, higher energy efficiency from reduced network usage, and less dependence on constant costly connections to the cloud. We believe new AI use cases will only be possible if edge devices are much more power efficient. Our proprietary Sub-threshold Power Optimized Technology (SPOT) platform is designed to fundamentally and cost-effectively reduce power consumption of battery- and wireline-powered devices alike. Depending on the application, devices incorporating SPOT demonstrate a two to five times reduction in power consumption compared to conventional integrated circuit designs. SPOT is a ground-breaking approach at the chip design level that incorporates sub- and near-threshold hardware without using expensive manufacturing processes. We provide a full-stack solution encompassing tightly integrated hardware and software. Our solutions include a diverse family of systems-on-chip (SoCs) and the software required to enable on-chip AI processing, general compute, sensing, security, storage, wireless connectivity, and advanced graphics. Our SoC solutions deliver compute at a very small fraction of the power consumed by our competitors’ products. Our ultra-low power SoCs serve a wide range of markets requiring on-device and real-time AI, including smartwatches and fitness trackers, augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) glasses, smart rings, digital health monitors, security systems and access control, livestock tracking, crop monitoring, and factory automation. These devices increasingly offer on-chip AI-powered features such as speech recognition, domain-specific language models, image and video processing, and sensing, further straining power consumption, which our solutions are positioned to address. As global demand for our SoC solutions accelerates, our sales and marketing efforts are increasingly focused on our end customers in target geographies such as the United States, Europe, and Asia (ex-MainlandChina). We were incorporated in Delaware on January 20, 2010 under the name Cubiq Microchip, Inc., and in October 2012, changed our name to Ambiq Micro, Inc. Our principal executive offices are located in Austin, Texas.
