Keysight pomohl AttoTude zkrátit vývojové cykly čipů o polovinu
KEYS Keysight Technologies
FMP Stock News 78
Original source text
Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) today announced that AttoTude Inc., a pioneer of next-generation ASICs over Dielectric interconnect technology for AI and hyperscale data center applications, has expanded its use of Keysight EDA software to manage its full IC design workflow. As a result, AttoTude has reduced its design cycles by more than 50% while achieving first-pass silicon success across advanced RF, sub-THz, and THz tape-outs that underpin its guided-wave interconnect platform.

Design velocity is emerging as a competitive advantage, with global semiconductor revenue forecast to exceed $1.3 trillion in 2026 and AI semiconductors expected to account for 30% of the market. For organizations developing AI interconnect technologies, accelerating silicon development while minimizing costly respins is vital to delivering the required bandwidth, efficiency, and scalability.

AttoTude designs integrated circuits that support per-lane data rates of 200G, 400G, and 800G, where on-chip interconnects behave as waveguides and accurate electromagnetic simulation is essential. With engineers working in parallel on sub-THz and THz subsystems, coordinating workloads without a shared, version-controlled environment makes first-pass silicon success difficult to achieve at scale. With the Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS) platform, AttoTude has cut design cycles to less than six weeks, with designs consistently performing to specification on first silicon.

Utilizing Keysight's design data management software, AttoTude maintains a single source of truth across its design environment, giving engineers full traceability and visibility at every stage. System-level scenario planning allows the team to explore design trade-offs before committing to silicon, with simulation-to-measurement correlation ensuring results reflect performance. As operating frequencies extend from RF into the sub-THz and THz domains, maintaining consistency between layouts, electromagnetic models, and simulation data becomes critical to delivering reliable silicon.

Richard Chan, ASIC Architect and Development Leader, AttoTude, said: “Developing an ASICs over Dielectric interconnect platform that spans signaling frequencies from 100 GHz to 3 THz requires an exceptional level of design accuracy and simulation fidelity. Keysight’s EDA software has enabled our engineering team to move faster with greater confidence, helping us accelerate development while consistently achieving first-pass silicon success.”

Nilesh Kamdar, General Manager, Keysight EDA, said: “At Keysight, we measure success by what our customers achieve. The next generation of AI infrastructure will be built by the teams that move from design to silicon fastest, and AttoTude is proving what that speed makes possible.”

Keysight zvýšil tržby díky poptávce po AI infrastruktuře
KEYS Keysight Technologies
FMP Stock News 78

Key Takeaways KEYS revenues rose 36% to $1.85B, while non-GAAP EPS surged 79% to $3.07 in fiscal Q3.Keysight's wireline orders more than doubled as AI infrastructure and high-speed transitions drove demand.KEYS projects fiscal Q4 revenues of $1.93B-$1.95B and non-GAAP EPS of $3.34-$3.40. Keysight Technologies, Inc. (KEYS - Free Report) is benefiting from accelerating investments across artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, next-generation communications, semiconductors and defense markets, as exemplified by solid third-quarter fiscal 2026 results. The company’s growth momentum is likely to continue, backed by an expanding portfolio and improving operating leverage.

Keysight’s revenues were $1.85 billion, up 36% year over year, while non-GAAP earnings surged 79% to $3.07 per share. Orders increased to $2.09 billion from $1.34 billion in the year-ago quarter, marking the second consecutive quarter with orders above $2 billion.

AI Infrastructure: Key Growth CatalystThe rapid expansion of AI infrastructure is one of the key growth drivers for Keysight. Rising investments in AI data centers are increasing the complexity of computing and networking architectures, creating demand for Keysight’s design, emulation and testing solutions.

Wireline orders more than doubled year over year in the fiscal third quarter, benefiting from AI infrastructure scaling, higher-speed technology transitions, silicon photonics and system-level emulation. Keysight is participating across the AI development lifecycle, spanning pre-silicon design, chip and component validation, data-center rack and cluster emulation and manufacturing testing.

Increasing adoption of 800-gig and 1.6-terabit optical transceivers is another positive. Moreover, Keysight’s deeper engagement with hyperscalers and semiconductor companies should expand its addressable opportunity as AI architectures become increasingly complex. Management believes AI adoption remains in its early stages, indicating a potentially long runway for the company.

6G Investments Lend SupportKeysight is well-positioned to benefit from the transition toward 6G. With the initial 6G standard targeted for March 2029, customers are gradually moving from exploratory research toward funded development programs.

Emerging technologies such as AI-powered radio access networks, integrated sensing and communication and non-terrestrial networks are expanding Keysight’s growth opportunities. Its broad portfolio of radio-channel, network, device and satellite emulation solutions should help customers test new 6G architectures and applications. Management expects the 6G opportunity to be larger than the 5G cycle.

Semiconductor and Industrial Demand Adds MomentumKeysight’s Electronic Industrial Solutions Group is another important growth engine. Segment revenues jumped 21% year over year to a record $501 million in the fiscal third quarter, driven by growth across semiconductor, general electronics, automotive and energy markets.

Semiconductor demand is benefiting from capacity expansion related to advanced process nodes, high-bandwidth memory and silicon photonics. AI-related computing growth is also increasing test requirements for increasingly complex electronic components.

Software-defined vehicles, automotive cybersecurity, EV charging, energy storage and infrastructure validation are creating additional opportunities for Keysight’s test and measurement solutions.

Price PerformanceKeysight has gained 89.6% over the past year compared with the sector’s growth of 29.2%. It has, however, lagged peers like Aehr Test Systems, Inc. (AEHR - Free Report) and Advantest Corporation (ATEYY - Free Report) . While Advantest has gained 190.6%, AEHR is up a stellar 485.4% over this period.

Revenues are projected between $1.93 billion and $1.95 billion, implying approximately 37% year-over-year growth at the midpoint. Non-GAAP earnings are expected between $3.34 and $3.40 per share. For fiscal 2026, management expects revenues and earnings to increase approximately 32% and 60%, respectively.

Keysight has a long-term earnings growth expectation of 19.4%. It delivered a trailing four-quarter average earnings surprise of 15.1%. Keysight currently carries a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here.

Key Takeaways KEYS is expected to post higher Q3 revenues, supported by demand for electronic design and test solutions.Keysight's new oscilloscope expands measurement offerings across AI, semiconductor and digital markets.KEYS' new photonics and RF design capabilities could strengthen software adoption and quarterly revenues. Keysight Technologies, Inc. (KEYS - Free Report) is set to release third-quarter fiscal 2026 results on Aug. 18, after the closing bell. In the last reported quarter, the company delivered an earnings surprise of 23.18%. It pulled off a trailing four-quarter earnings surprise of 9.46%, on average, beating estimates on all occasions.

Keysight is expected to report year-over-year revenue growth, driven by steady demand for its electronic design and test solutions. Growth across semiconductor, AI infrastructure and data-center markets, along with new product launches, is likely to have aided its overall quarterly performance.

This press release features multimedia. View the full release here: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20260709611791/en/

The Keysight APS-ONE-400 4x100GE modular network cybersecurity test platform delivers hyperscale L4-7 traffic, encrypted TLS traffic, security strikes, and Elephant Flows via a 1RU footprint that minimizes rack space usage, power consumption, and cooling demands.

The growing complexity and volume of network loads — including legitimate and malicious traffic, post-quantum cryptography (PQC)-encrypted traffic, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and the Elephant Flow transmissions common in AI and large language model (LLM) workloads — require network equipment manufacturers (NEMs), service providers, and data center operators to validate that their solutions can withstand these demands prior to deployment. However, this often requires multiple specialized test tools that can drive up costs and consume limited lab resources.

To address this challenge, Keysight developed the APS-ONE-400 appliance, an addition to its APS-100/400GE hardware family. The new modular, scalable 4x100GE network application and cybersecurity test platform generates hyperscale Layer 4-7 traffic, PQC-encrypted Transport Layer Security (TLS) throughput, security strikes, and ZTNA test capabilities — all within a compact 1RU footprint that improves lab efficiency.

The APS-ONE-400 4x100GE test platform offers the following benefits:

Increased performance and efficiency: Delivers 400 gigabits per second (Gbps) Layer 4-7 throughput, 380 Gbps of hardware-accelerated encrypted TLS throughput, 95 Gbps Elephant Flow throughput, and the latest security strikes in a compact 1RU platform that minimizes rack space, cooling, and power consumption. Compatibility and flexibility: Deploy as a stand-alone appliance or seamlessly integrate with existing deployments of Keysight’s APS-100/400GE series, including APS-M8400, APS-M1010, and APS-ONE-100. With APS-ONE-400’s fanout support for 100/25/10GE, the platform accommodates a range of critical network speeds. Hyperscale performance: When paired with the APS-M8400 appliance or APS-M1010 management controller, the APS-ONE-400 enables hyperscale testbeds that emulate the rigorous demands of data center and service provider environments. The platform can generate up to 16 terabits per second (Tbps) of Layer 4-7 traffic, 20 billion concurrent connections, 15 Tbps of TLS traffic, and 25 million TLS connections per second. Modular, scalable solution: Designed as a “pay-as-you-grow” solution, the APS-ONE-400 lets users support current test needs while retaining the flexibility to scale up capacity as requirements evolve. Ram Periakaruppan, Vice President and General Manager, Keysight's Network Test and Security Solutions, said: “The exponential growth of data transfers and bandwidth demands generated by AI and machine learning workloads is putting unprecedented strain on data center, service provider, and enterprise network infrastructures. Continuously validating that networks can handle these challenges without compromising security requires realistic, hyperscale, traffic emulation capabilities. Keysight's modular APS-ONE-400 compute node delivers new heights in realism, emulating the traffic flows associated with generative AI models and agentic applications at hyperscale, including the huge Elephant Flow datasets common to LLM training use cases and PQC-encrypted traffic flows, all in a compact form factor that conserves critical lab resources.”

New GaN MMIC design workflow reduces fabrication risk for 5G, satellite and defense applications

SANTA ROSA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) and WIN Semiconductors Corp. today announced a joint MMIC design workflow that enables GaN MMIC design houses to achieve first pass tapeout success. The workflow connects on-chip multi-domain simulation, 3D layout with verifications, and off-chip MMIC evaluation board design into a single environment. It supports the growing number of companies developing GaN MMICs for 5G base stations, Wi-Fi access points, satellite payloads, and defense radar systems.

A failed tapeout can mean weeks lost to another foundry respin. The new workflow automates the full set of simulation, optimization, and verification steps required to sign off on an MMIC design, ensuring no analysis is skipped before the design is submitted to the foundry for fabrication.

MMIC customers will not commit to purchase until they can measure performance on a physical evaluation board comprising the MMIC, packaging, PCB, and test connectors. The workflow lets engineers design and optimize these on-chip and off-chip components together, so that performance meets specifications as verified with test equipment. With the global GaN RF device market projected to reach $2.77 billion by 2031, MMIC design houses that cannot prove performance on the evaluation board risk losing their share of that growth.

WIN Semiconductors’ latest NP 120P GaN Process Design Kit gives MMIC designers access to process models and layout rules. These models within Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS) and RF Circuit Simulation Professional automate the workflow to achieve first pass MMIC tapeout.

Richard Kuo, Director of Design Service, WIN Semiconductors, said: “We are delighted to collaborate with Keysight to deliver a customized LVS solution within the WIN ADS PDK. By combining Keysight's ADS expertise with WIN's robust PDK and advanced process technology, we provided a comprehensive verification solution that streamlined the customer's design flow and accelerated the time-to-market for advanced RF products with greater confidence and reliability.”

Nilesh Kamdar, General Manager, EDA, Design Engineering Software, Keysight, said: “WIN's complete PDK, combined with Keysight's simulation and verification tools, gives designers a single path from chip design through evaluation board. Design houses can now prove full system performance before fabrication, giving their customers the confidence to commit.”
