Interpreting Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) International Revenue Trends | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Have you looked into how Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE - Free Report) performed internationally during the quarter ending July 2026? Considering the widespread global presence of this information technology products and services provider, examining the trends in international revenues is essential for assessing its financial resilience and prospects for growth. In the current era of a tightly interconnected global economy, the proficiency of a company to penetrate international markets significantly influences its financial health and trajectory of growth. For investors, the key is to grasp how reliant a company is on overseas markets, as this provides insights into the durability of its earnings, its ability to exploit different economic cycles, and its overall growth capabilities. Being present in international markets serves as a counterbalance to domestic economic challenges while offering chances to engage with more rapidly evolving economies. However, this kind of diversification introduces challenges like currency fluctuations, geopolitical uncertainties and varying market trends. In our recent assessment of HPE's quarterly performance, we discovered notable trends in its overseas revenue sections, which are typically modeled and scrutinized by Wall Street analysts. The recent quarter saw the company's total revenue reaching $12.21 billion, marking an improvement of 33.7% from the prior-year quarter. Next, we'll examine the breakdown of HPE's revenue from abroad to comprehend the significance of its international presence. A Dive into HPE's International Revenue TrendsEurope, Middle East and Africa generated $4.2 billion in revenues for the company in the last quarter, constituting 34.4% of the total. This represented a surprise of +3.48% compared to the $4.06 billion projected by Wall Street analysts. Comparatively, in the previous quarter, Europe, Middle East and Africa accounted for $3.78 billion (35.4%), and in the year-ago quarter, it contributed $2.74 billion (30%) to the total revenue. During the quarter, Asia Pacific and Japan contributed $2.67 billion in revenue, making up 21.8% of the total revenue. When compared to the consensus estimate of $2.56 billion, this meant a surprise of +4.16%. Looking back, Asia Pacific and Japan contributed $2.35 billion, or 22%, in the previous quarter, and $1.65 billion, or 18.1%, in the same quarter of the previous year. Projected Revenues in Foreign MarketsIt is projected by analysts on Wall Street that Hewlett Packard Enterprise will post revenues of $14.35 billion for the ongoing fiscal quarter, an increase of 48.2% from the year-ago quarter. The expected contributions from Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific and Japan to this revenue are 32.7%, and 20.6%, translating into $4.69 billion, and $2.96 billion, respectively. For the full year, the company is projected to achieve a total revenue of $46.04 billion, which signifies a rise of 34.3% from the last year. The share of this revenue from various regions is expected to be: Europe, Middle East and Africa at 32.9% ($15.15 billion), and Asia Pacific and Japan at 20.8% ($9.56 billion). Key TakeawaysRelying on global markets for revenues presents both prospects and challenges for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Therefore, scrutinizing its international revenue trends is key to effectively forecasting the company's future outlook. In an era of growing international ties and escalating geopolitical disputes, financial analysts on Wall Street pay keen attention to these developments to fine-tune their earnings estimations for businesses operating across borders. It's important to note, however, that a range of additional variables, like a company's local market status, also play a crucial role in shaping these forecasts. At Zacks, we place significant importance on a company's evolving earnings outlook. This is based on empirical evidence demonstrating its strong influence on a stock's short-term price movements. Invariably, there exists a positive relationship -- an upward revision in earnings estimates is typically mirrored by a rise in the stock price. Boasting a remarkable track record that's been externally verified, the Zacks Rank, our unique stock rating system, leverages changes in earnings projections to function as a reliable gauge for predicting short-term stock price movements. At present, Hewlett Packard Enterprise holds a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy). This ranking implies that its near-term performance might beat the overall market movement. A Look at Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Recent Stock Price PerformanceThe stock has witnessed a decline of 2.3% over the past month versus the Zacks S&P 500 composite's a decrease of 0.1%. Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s NYSE: HPE Q2 results aligned with trends suggesting the AI boom is not only still in place and growing, but also far larger in size, scope, and durability than the market is giving it credit for.Hewlett Packard Enterprise Today HPE Hewlett Packard Enterprise $51.96 -2.48 (-4.56%) As of 09/4/2026 03:58 PM Eastern $19.84▼ $64.251.10% 27.06 $69.44 In this scenario, upside potential remains largely unchecked, despite near-term weakness, setting the stage for robust gains in the coming quarters. Get HPE alerts: Key takeaways from the release included broad-based demand led by cloud, AI, and data centers, and a multiyear runway underpinned by two major GPU suppliers. HPE is a leading, if not the leading, provider of NVIDIA NASDAQ: NVDA and Advanced Micro Devices NASDAQ: AMD rack-scale systems, including the newly launched Helios architecture. It goes into delivery this quarter and is being reflected in HPE’s guidance. Hewlett Packard Enterprise Exceeds Expectations, Guides for StrengthHewlett Packard Enterprise reported a strong quarter, with revenue growing 33.5% to $12.2 billion. Top-line growth accelerated year over year (YOY), nearly doubling the prior year’s pace, driven by a 74.9% gain in Networking, a 25.4% increase in Cloud & AI, and a 3% increase in Corporate Investments. Within Networking, Data Center and Routing were strongest, with gains of 112% and 270%, but all subsegments produced healthy double-digit growth. Sales were strong, but margins improved even more. HPE reported large, quadruple-digit basis-point (bps) improvements in GAAP and adjusted gross margins, and high-triple-digit gains in operating margin, driving a 155% increase in adjusted operating profit and a 5x gain in cash flow and free cash flow. Adjusted earnings, which were impacted by a slightly higher share count, grew by 65% YOY, outperformed MarketBeat’s consensus by approximately 1,800 bps, and exceeded guidance by more than 20 cents, enabling value gains while the company pays dividends and reinvests in growth. Guidance aligned with forecasts from AI-related infrastructure companies such as NVIDIA and Credo Technologies NASDAQ: CRDO, indicating strength on an order of magnitude that suggests the market has completely misjudged the impact of AI. As it stands, the strong Q3 guide was well above expectations and led to an increased full-year outlook forecasting approximately 35.5% YOY growth, wider margins, and triple-digit earnings growth. More importantly, the company also improved its longer-term forecasts, lifting the 2027 framework to include higher revenue, wider margins, and approximately $5 billion in free cash flow, and it appears cautious in its estimates. Analysts Trends Strengthen, Forecasting Fresh Highs for HPE StockAnalysts responded favorably to the release, with initial revisions dominated by price target increases and reaffirmed targets above consensus. Post-release activity extended the trend already in place, including stronger sentiment, an uptrend in price targets, and a forecast for fresh all-time highs at the consensus. The consensus, which increased nearly 3x over the trailing 12 months ahead of the report, represented nearly 50% upside to the pre-release close, with the trend leading to the high end above $80. The likely outcome is that analysts' trends remain firm as the year and quarters progress, strengthening alongside results as the data center buildout continues. HPE Stock Finds Support After Its Post-Earnings DropPrice action doesn't look favorable at face value, with the stock dropping after the release, but signs of strength emerged. While price action plunged at the open, it triggered a buying frenzy that quickly lifted the stock off the lows and confirmed support at a critical level aligned with early 2026 price action. The support level indicates a pivot point that this market is unlikely to cross below. The more likely outcome is that HPE rebuilds support near $50 ahead of an advance later this year. The visible catalyst is the subsequent earnings report, although a strong report from AMD detailing Helios demand could also do the trick. HPE’s Cash Flow Supports Bigger Shareholder ReturnsReasons to buy this stock, aside from its AI positioning, are cash flow and free cash flow. HPE pays a dividend and opportunistically buys back shares, either of which could strengthen in the upcoming year. As it stands, HPE yields about 1%, with year-to-date capital returns, including buybacks, on track to equal less than 20% of the 2027 FCF target. The opportunity is for dividend and buyback growth to accelerate over time. Backlog, supply chains, and shortages are the biggest risks this year. Supply constraints may show up in sales, with the ballooning backlog growing but not converting as quickly as expected. At the same time, front-loading inventories of needed products is also affecting cash flow and may impair profitability if major supply shortages emerge. The offsetting factor is that the backlog is at record levels and growing. Continue following MarketBeat Add MarketBeat as your preferred source on Google to see our latest stories in your feed. Hewlett Packard Enterprise Q3 Earnings Call Highlights | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE:HPE) reported record fiscal 2026 third-quarter results, citing accelerating demand for AI infrastructure, continued networking momentum and disciplined pricing. The company also raised its fiscal 2026 outlook and updated its fiscal 2027 growth framework as orders outpaced revenue and backlog reached a record level.Revenue for the quarter totaled $12.2 billion, up 34% from a year earlier and above the high end of the company’s guidance range. HPE reported a record non-GAAP gross margin of 40%, non-GAAP operating profit of $2 billion and non-GAAP diluted earnings per share of $1.11. GAAP EPS was $1.06. Free cash flow reached $958 million, HPE’s highest third-quarter result, while operating cash flow was $1.6 billion. Chief Executive Officer Antonio Neri said the company exceeded its financial commitments across revenue, gross margin, operating profit and earnings per share. “AI has become a multi-year growth driver, expanding demand across our HPE portfolio,” Neri said. “Customer demand in the quarter accelerated across both business segments, with orders growing faster than revenues.” Orders, backlog and supply constraints HPE said normalized order growth was 42% year over year, led by demand for traditional servers, AI systems and networking products. The company said it booked more orders than in any prior quarter, producing a record backlog. However, management said supply constraints continue to limit its ability to convert demand into revenue. Neri cited constraints involving DDR5 and DDR4 memory, NAND flash and other components affected by wafer capacity. HPE is seeking to address the situation through increased purchase commitments, multiyear supplier agreements, alternative product configurations and closer demand planning with customers. Chief Financial Officer Marie Myers said inventory ended the quarter at $11.8 billion, reflecting higher commodity costs and targeted purchases intended to support rising orders and backlog. HPE’s cash conversion cycle improved by one day sequentially, helped by collections and billing timing, although higher inventory partially offset those gains. Management said supply availability should improve enough to support higher revenue conversion in the fourth quarter, while remaining a constraint into fiscal 2027. Networking momentum and Oracle collaboration Networking revenue was $2.9 billion, up 10% on a normalized basis, while orders increased 36%. Myers said orders grew about 3.5 times faster than revenue, with supply constraints and shipment timing limiting data center networking revenue conversion. Networks for AI orders reached a quarterly record of $700 million and grew by triple digits. Cumulative networks-for-AI orders reached $2.2 billion, surpassing HPE’s previous fiscal 2026 target. The company raised its year-end target for cumulative networks-for-AI orders to between $2.5 billion and $3 billion. Within networking, campus and branch revenue grew 8% on a normalized basis, routing revenue rose 23%, and security revenue increased 12%. Data center networking revenue declined 6% because of supply-constrained shipment timing. Networking operating margin was 22%, in line with HPE’s guidance. HPE also announced an expanded collaboration with Oracle involving routers, switches, software and AI operations capabilities for Oracle’s AI cloud infrastructure build-out. Neri described the deployment as a multiyear, multi-gigawatt opportunity that includes QFX switching products and PTX routing products. The company said a U.S. federal court approved its settlement with the Department of Justice related to the Juniper Networks acquisition in August. Neri said integration and cost-synergy efforts remain ahead of schedule, while Myers reiterated HPE’s target of achieving a $600 million annual run-rate of Juniper-related savings by the end of fiscal 2028. Cloud and AI segment growth Cloud and AI revenue totaled $9 billion, up 25%, exceeding HPE’s outlook. The segment generated operating profit of more than $1.5 billion and an operating margin of 17%, which increased 460 basis points sequentially. Server revenue rose 35%, driven by higher average selling prices in traditional servers, which offset supply-constrained unit volumes. Management said traditional server orders increased by a strong double-digit percentage year over year. HPE expects unit volumes to strengthen in the fourth quarter as supply becomes more available, though constraints are expected to persist. AI systems orders were $2.4 billion, up more than 30% sequentially, while AI systems revenue was nearly $1.6 billion. HPE expects AI systems revenue to improve sequentially in the fourth quarter as backlog converts to revenue. After the quarter ended, HPE said it received a multibillion-dollar server deal from a hyperscaler customer for internal AI inferencing usage. Neri emphasized that the transaction involves traditional servers for the customer’s own use rather than the type of cloud infrastructure deployments HPE had previously pursued with large hyperscalers. Storage revenue increased 10%, aided by demand for higher-value owned intellectual property and private cloud offerings. Private Cloud AI orders grew by triple digits, while Alletra Storage MP orders and revenue also increased by strong double-digit percentages, according to management. HPE GreenLake customers rose 18% year over year to 52,000. The company also said HPE Financial Services recorded third-quarter highs in financing volumes, residual value and return on equity as customers sought financing options for AI investments. Outlook raised for 2026 and 2027 For the fiscal fourth quarter, HPE expects revenue of $13.9 billion to $14.8 billion. It forecast networking revenue growth of 11% to 13% and cloud and AI revenue growth of 60% to 72%. The company expects non-GAAP EPS of $1.20 to $1.30 and GAAP EPS of $1.12 to $1.22. HPE raised its fiscal 2026 non-GAAP EPS outlook to $3.75 to $3.85 and its GAAP EPS outlook to $2.93 to $3.03. It also increased its fiscal-year free-cash-flow target to at least $3.75 billion. For fiscal 2027, HPE now expects consolidated revenue growth of 13% to 17%, networking growth of 14% to 17%, and cloud and AI growth of 14% to 18%. The company forecast EPS of $4.40 to $4.60 and free cash flow of at least $5 billion. Management said the fiscal 2027 framework includes some contribution from the Oracle collaboration and the recently announced hyperscaler inferencing deal. It does not include potential revenue from the AMD Helios opportunity, which HPE expects to become available for ordering later in the calendar year. HPE returned $324 million to common shareholders during the quarter through $189 million in dividends and $135 million in share repurchases. The company said it exited the quarter with net leverage of 1.8 times, below its target of two times, and plans to return at least 75% of free cash flow to shareholders in the fourth quarter. AI Infrastructure Demand Remains Red-Hot: HPE, AVGO, DELL Deliver | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Key Takeaways HPE, AVGO, and DELL all posted strong results recently. AI-related demand has benefited each in a big way. The AI trade remains alive and well, with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE - Free Report) , Broadcom (AVGO - Free Report) , and Dell Technologies (DELL - Free Report) all recently posting strong quarterly results.AI infrastructure spending was the clear theme across all releases, with demand remaining robust for servers, networking, and custom accelerators. Still, market reactions have been mixed, indicating that expectations remain sky-high for many AI-focused names. Let’s take a closer look at the results. HPE Raises Its OutlookHewlett Packard Enterprise posted record quarterly revenue of $12.2 billion, reflecting 34% YoY growth. Adjusted earnings came in at $1.11 per share, climbing sharply from $0.44 in the same period last year and exceeding the Zacks Consensus EPS estimate by nearly 17%. Cloud & AI revenue reached $9.0 billion, up 25% YoY, with Server revenue climbing 35% to $6.8 billion. Networking results were even stronger, with revenue jumping 75% to $2.9 billion. Data Center Networking revenue more than doubled, while Routing revenue climbed 270%. Importantly, the demand picture remains bright. AI Systems orders reached $2.4 billion during the quarter, with backlog climbing to $6.8 billion. HPE also raised its FY26 revenue growth outlook to 34%-37% and now expects adjusted EPS of $3.75-$3.85. Looking further ahead, management boosted its FY27 revenue growth outlook to 13%-17%, paired with expected adjusted EPS growth of 16%-20%. The numbers were undoubtedly positive, though supply constraints and the lower-margin nature of some AI systems remain items to keep in mind. Still, the raised outlook and favorable Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) reflect a constructive earnings picture overall. Image Source: Zacks Investment Research Broadcom’s AI Growth AcceleratesBroadcom delivered another monster quarter, posting $29.6 billion in revenue, up 86% YoY. Adjusted EPS of $3.32 grew 96% from the year-ago period and came in 3% above the Zacks Consensus estimate. To little surprise, AI again stole the show. AI semiconductor revenue reached $16.7 billion, surging 221% YoY and 54% sequentially as demand for custom accelerators and networking products remained red-hot. Semiconductor Solutions revenue overall climbed 127% to $20.8 billion, while Infrastructure Software revenue rose 29% to $8.8 billion. And the momentum isn’t expected to slow down anytime soon. Broadcom expects AI semiconductor revenue of $21.7 billion next quarter, reflecting 236% YoY growth, with total revenue forecasted at roughly $34.8 billion. Management has also outlined roughly $115 billion of AI semiconductor revenue for FY27, with the longer-term opportunity potentially reaching $230 billion in FY28. Interestingly enough, shares traded lower following the release despite the eye-popping growth. Expectations for Broadcom have clearly become massive, making even great results a tough act to follow. AVGO currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold), with the earnings-revision picture worth watching following the release. Image Source: Zacks Investment Research Dell’s AI Backlog SurgesDell Technologies arguably posted the most impressive results of the group, with shares surging following the release. Revenue climbed 58% YoY to a record $47.0 billion, while adjusted EPS of $7.04 reflected growth of more than 200% and crushed the Zacks Consensus estimate. Infrastructure Solutions Group revenue jumped 89% to $31.8 billion, with segment operating income soaring 225% to $4.8 billion. AI-Optimized Server revenue doubled to $16.4 billion, but the order and backlog figures were perhaps even more impressive. Dell booked a record $60.9 billion of AI server orders during the quarter and exited with a massive $95 billion backlog, providing strong top line visibility. The strength wasn’t isolated to AI, either. Traditional Servers and Networking revenue jumped 122%, Storage revenue grew 26%, and Client Solutions Group sales climbed 20%. Dell raised its FY27 revenue outlook by $25 billion to $192 billion while boosting its AI-Optimized Server revenue expectation to $74 billion from $60 billion previously. DELL currently sports a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy), with the combination of accelerating AI demand, a huge backlog, and raised guidance providing a rock-solid near-term backdrop. Image Source: Zacks Investment Research Bottom Line The latest results from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE - Free Report) , Broadcom (AVGO - Free Report) , and Dell Technologies (DELL - Free Report) further strengthened the AI infrastructure growth story. Demand remains robust across several areas of the buildout, ranging from Dell and HPE’s AI servers and networking offerings to Broadcom’s custom accelerators and networking chips. And importantly, all three provided upbeat forward-looking commentary alongside their strong quarterly growth. |

HPE Cannot Build AI Servers Fast Enough. Is the Stock Still Cheap? | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
HPE has more than doubled this year on an AI server backlog that management says demand is outpacing by multiples, yet the stock still trades at a low-teens forward multiple. Here is whether that gap is an opportunity or a…This post may contain links from our sponsors and affiliates, and Flywheel Publishing may receive compensation for actions taken through them. Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE:HPE | HPE Price Prediction) has roughly doubled in 2026, with shares up 117.7% year-to-date and 133.11% over the past year to $51.83. If you watched it climb from the low $20s and never bought, the question is whether the AI server story is now priced in or whether the setup that produced the move is still intact. The company reported fiscal third-quarter revenue of $12.21 billion, up 32.72% year over year, with non-GAAP EPS of $1.11, beating the $0.93 estimate. Networking revenue rose 74.9%, and server revenue rose 35.3% on AI demand. CEO Antonio Neri said orders are “growing three and a half times faster than the revenue” in networking, and the company disclosed a post-quarter $3.5 billion inferencing deal with a hyperscaler. Valuation After the Run Even after the move, the multiple remains reasonable. Management raised full-year non-GAAP EPS guidance to $3.75 to $3.85, which puts HPE at roughly 14x forward earnings. The fiscal 2027 framework calls for EPS of $4.40 to $4.60 and free cash flow of at least $5 billion, which pulls the forward multiple lower still. Compare that with Dell Technologies (NYSE:DELL), which trades at $492.20 after a 294.64% year-to-date gain, on FY27 non-GAAP EPS guidance of $25.50, and Super Micro Computer (NASDAQ:SMCI) at $37 against a $3.31 FY27 consensus. HPE is the cheapest of the three assemblers on forward earnings, and it earns a 40.4% non-GAAP gross margin compared with Supermicro’s 17.6% quarterly non-GAAP gross margin and Dell’s thinner AI-server mix. Catalyst That Keeps Working The reason to keep watching is that HPE’s constraint sits on the supply side. Neri told investors “supply constraints continue to affect our ability to fulfill the increased customer demand” and that the pipeline is “multiples of backlog.” DDR5, NAND, and HBM are the binding shortages, and Neri said this “is going to last for a longer period of time.” That matters because the FY27 framework excludes the AMD Helios opportunity, which Neri described as a market measured in “tens of billions of dollars.” The expanded Oracle collaboration for multi-gigawatt AI infrastructure, which uses Juniper switching, also sits on top of the current guide, not inside it. Where Downside Lives The risks are real. HPE is buying scarce components ahead of shipment, which converts a revenue timing problem into balance-sheet exposure if AI order pricing softens before those parts ship. CFO Marie Myers cautioned that Q3 margins reflected “a confluence of everything coming together at once” and that mix will shift toward lower-margin AI systems. FY27 revenue growth is guided to 13% to 17%, well below FY26’s 34% to 37%. And shares already fell 6.16% in the past week as investors digested the supply commentary, per Reuters’ coverage of the raised forecast. Juniper integration is unfinished, and a stumble there would show up in networking margins the market is now paying up for. Bottom Line There is still a reasonable entry here. HPE trades at a low-teens multiple on FY26 earnings and a lower one on FY27, against a record backlog, a demand curve that has not peaked, and a hyperscaler deal signed after the quarter closed. Dell offers more AI revenue at a richer multiple, and Supermicro offers cheaper trailing earnings with materially worse cash flow and governance risk. Among the three, HPE offers the most balanced risk-reward profile on the numbers. For investors researching the name after missing the first leg, the current setup still offers a reasonable risk-reward, with supply-driven pullbacks likely to define the shape of any accumulation window. The same buildout powering HPE runs through the power, cooling, and networking suppliers we profiled in a free report on seven AI infrastructure names that aren’t chipmakers. HPE Q3 Earnings Surpass Expectations, Revenues Rise Y/Y | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Key Takeaways HPE's Q3 earnings jumped 152.3% as revenues rose 33.7%, fueled by AI, servers and networking.HPE's AI backlog hit $7.6 billion, while Networking orders rose 36% amid supply constraints.HPE raised fiscal 2026 revenue growth guidance to 34-37% and EPS guidance to $3.75-$3.85. Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE - Free Report) posted non-GAAP earnings of $1.11 per share for the third quarter of fiscal 2026, which increased 152.3% year over year and beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 95 cents by 16.8%.Revenues of $12.21 billion rose 33.7% year over year and beat the consensus estimate by 1%. The quarter benefited from accelerating demand for traditional servers, AI systems and networking, while disciplined pricing and a richer networking mix supported profitability. HPE’s normalized orders increased 42% year over year, and total AI backlog reached a record $7.6 billion exiting the quarter. HPE's Networking Orders Outpace ShipmentsNetworking revenues were $2.89 billion, up 74.9% year over year on a reported basis and 10% on a normalized basis. The segment's operating margin was 22% compared with 22.1% in the year-ago quarter. Normalized Networking orders increased 36%, materially faster than revenues as supply constraints limited conversions. Campus & Branch revenues were $1.44 billion, while Routing contributed $788 million. Networks for AI orders reached $700 million in the quarter, taking cumulative orders to $2.2 billion and prompting HPE to raise its fiscal 2026 target to $2.5-$3 billion. The company also signed a gigawatt-scale deal with Oracle for routers and switches supporting a major AI cloud infrastructure buildout. Management said networking purchase commitments more than doubled sequentially to help improve supply availability and convert the elevated backlog. Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Cloud & AI Demand AcceleratesCloud & AI revenues totaled $9.04 billion, up 25.4% year over year. The segment's operating margin expanded to 17% from 7%, supported by strong server demand, pricing and scale. Server revenues rose 35.3% to $6.77 billion, while Storage revenues increased 10.2% to $1.29 billion. AI Systems orders were $2.4 billion, and backlog climbed to $6.8 billion. After quarter-end, HPE was awarded a $3.5 billion inferencing deal with a hyperscaler customer. Private Cloud AI orders increased at a triple-digit rate year over year, while the HPE GreenLake customer count grew 18% to 52,000. Management said enterprises are moving from AI pilots toward production use cases, particularly agentic AI and inferencing workloads. HPE Expands Margins on Pricing and MixNon-GAAP gross profit reached $4.93 billion, up from $2.73 billion a year ago. The non-GAAP gross margin widened to 40.4% from 29.9%, reflecting pricing discipline in traditional servers and a favorable mix. Non-GAAP operating profit increased to $1.98 billion from $777 million, while the operating margin improved to 16.2% from 8.5%. Non-GAAP operating expenses rose 17.3% sequentially to $2.95 billion, mainly because of higher variable compensation. Management expects gross margin to moderate as AI Systems become a larger portion of sales and traditional server margins normalize. Juniper integration synergies remain on track to reach a $600 million annualized run rate by the end of fiscal 2028, with the integration running ahead of plan. Hewlett Packard Enterprise Strengthens Cash FlowOperating cash flow was $1.64 billion, while free cash flow totaled $958 million. HPE returned $324 million to common shareholders through dividends and share repurchases during the quarter. Cash and cash equivalents ended the period at $6.22 billion. Total net debt fell to $14.03 billion, and the net debt-to-adjusted EBITDA ratio declined to 1.8 times, below the company's two-times target more than a year ahead of its original plan. Inventory ended the quarter at $11.82 billion as HPE built targeted supply to support higher orders and backlog. The cash conversion cycle improved by one day sequentially, helped by stronger collections and more favorable billing timing. HPE Raises Fiscal 2026 and 2027 OutlookFor the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, HPE expects revenues of $13.9-$14.8 billion and non-GAAP earnings of $1.20-$1.30 per share. Networking revenues are projected to grow 11-13%, while Cloud & AI revenues are expected to increase 60-72%. For fiscal 2026, HPE raised its revenue growth outlook to 34-37% and non-GAAP earnings-per-share guidance to $3.75-$3.85. Free cash flow is now expected to be at least $3.75 billion. For fiscal 2027, management raised its revenue growth framework to 13-17% and projected non-GAAP earnings-per-share growth of 16-20%. The company expects a 14-15% non-GAAP operating margin and free cash flow of at least $5 billion, with Networking revenue growth of 14-17% and Cloud & AI growth of 14-18%. HPE raises FY27 outlook on agentic AI demand, reports record orders | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co (NYSE:HPE, XETRA:2HP) beat analyst expectations for its fiscal third quarter and raised its full-year guidance, citing broad-based demand and record orders and backlog as the company positions itself for a surge in agentic AI spending.Management raised its FY26 EPS guidance to $3.75-$3.85 and forecast free cash flow of at least $3.75 billion. For FY27, the company now expects revenue growth of 13%-17%, operating-profit growth of 14%-18%, EPS of $4.40-$4.60 and FCF of at least $5 billion. The improved FY27 outlook comes with a mix shift toward AI revenue, which carries lower gross margins but is being offset by disciplined operating expense control, according to BofA Securities analysts, who reiterated a Buy rating and raised their price objective to $88 from $82. BofA said it views the guidance as conservative, noting that server upside from agentic AI and AMD Helios is excluded from the networking outlook. Multi-year supply commitments and orders placed ahead of revenue recognition give the analysts confidence that FY27 estimates retain upward bias. Networking revenue grew 10% on a normalized basis to $2.9 billion, while orders rose 36%, more than three times faster than revenue. Networks-for-AI orders reached $700 million in the quarter, pushing cumulative FY26 orders for that segment to $2.2 billion and prompting HPE to raise its year-end target to $2.5-$3 billion. A three-year deal with Oracle validated HPE's scale-out switching and scale-across routing technology, the analysts said. In Cloud & AI, revenue rose 25% to $9 billion, with operating margin expanding 460 basis points quarter-over-quarter to 17%. Server revenue climbed 35%, AI systems orders totaled $2.4 billion and backlog grew 14% quarter-over-quarter. After the quarter closed, HPE secured a $3.5 billion inference-server award from a hyperscale customer, with more smaller deals reportedly in the pipeline. HPE shares were down 5.4% at Thursday's open. |

HPE Q3 Earnings Call Highlights AI Demand, Networking Shift | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Key Takeaways HPE raised fiscal 2026 and 2027 targets after Q3 earnings and revenues topped consensus estimates.AI systems orders hit $2.4B, up more than 30% sequentially, while backlog rose 14% to a new high.Networking orders rose 36% normalized, with supply constraints limiting conversion into revenues. Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (HPE - Free Report) used its third-quarter fiscal 2026 earnings call to emphasize accelerating enterprise AI demand, record order activity and a growing backlog, while supply constraints continued to limit how quickly that demand could convert into revenues. The quarter supported higher fiscal 2026 and fiscal 2027 targets. Non-GAAP EPS of $1.11 topped the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.95, while revenues of $12.21 billion exceeded the $12.09 billion consensus. HPE Raises Fiscal 2027 FrameworkExecutive vice president and CFO Marie Myers raised the fiscal 2027 revenue growth framework to 13-17%, with Networking expected to grow 14-17% and Cloud & AI 14-18%. Myers also guided to fiscal 2027 non-GAAP operating margin of 14-15%, EPS of $4.4-$4.6 and free cash flow of at least $5 billion. For fiscal 2026, Myers raised revenue growth guidance to 34-37%, non-GAAP EPS to $3.75-$3.85 and free cash flow to at least $3.75 billion. Fiscal fourth-quarter revenues are projected at $13.9-$14.8 billion. Hewlett Packard Enterprise Leans Into Enterprise AIPresident and CEO Antonio Neri said that enterprise AI has moved beyond early training pilots toward agentic AI and inferencing, expanding demand for traditional servers, storage, private cloud and AI systems. Neri also stated that more AI initiatives are becoming board-level priorities. He also pointed to customer interest in running workloads on premises to control data, governance and token economics. Myers mentioned that AI systems orders reached $2.4 billion, up more than 30% sequentially, while backlog increased 14% sequentially to a new high. She expects AI systems revenues to improve sequentially in the fourth quarter. HPE Networking Orders Outpace RevenueMyers said that Networking orders rose 36% on a normalized basis, about 3.5 times faster than revenue growth, as demand strengthened across routing, data center switching and Campus & Branch. Neri said that supply availability, rather than demand, is limiting order conversion. Myers added that networking purchase commitments more than doubled quarter over quarter. CEO Antonio Neri also highlighted an Oracle collaboration for gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure using HPE Juniper switching, routing, software and AI operations across global deployments. Hewlett Packard Enterprise Flags Margin NormalizationHPE reported fiscal third-quarter non-GAAP gross margin of 40.4%. Myers attributed the strength to disciplined traditional-server pricing and a richer networking mix. Myers cautioned that gross margin should moderate toward historical levels as AI systems become a larger revenue mix and traditional-server deal mix normalizes. Myers expects fourth-quarter Cloud & AI operating margin to move to a mid-teens rate. Lower variable compensation, Catalyst efficiencies and Juniper synergies should reduce total operating expenses sequentially by a low-single-digit rate. HPE Q&A Centers on Supply and Demand DurabilityA Goldman Sachs analyst asked whether strong demand reflected a durable infrastructure cycle or pulled-forward spending. Neri cited enterprise AI adoption, a large pipeline and continued AI cloud build-outs behind the fiscal 2027 outlook. An Evercore ISI analyst pressed on the gap between Networking orders and revenues. Neri said that supply constraints remain the main issue, although revenue growth should accelerate as capacity becomes available. A Morgan Stanley analyst questioned why server margins would normalize despite strong demand. Myers said that third-quarter margins reflected scale, pricing, deal mix and Catalyst benefits, with mix expected to moderate into fiscal 2027. Hewlett Packard Enterprise Stays Focused on ExecutionNeri closed by emphasizing networking as the strategic lead for the company, with Cloud & AI supporting broader customer needs, profitability and cash generation. Myers expects Juniper synergy capture to remain on track for $600 million in annual run-rate savings by the end of fiscal 2028. She also said HPE plans to return at least 75% of free cash flow to shareholders in the fourth quarter. HPE's Rank and Style Scores Stay FavorableHPE carries a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) at present, with a Value Score of B and a Growth Score of A, a Momentum Score of A and a VGM Score of A. Under the Zacks framework, top-ranked stocks paired with A or B Style Scores have historically offered stronger potential over the next one to three months. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here. Within the Zacks scoring framework, the A Growth and Momentum grades denote stronger growth characteristics and favorable momentum timing, while the B Value grade remains in the preferred A/B tier. Why is HPE stock falling despite stronger-than-expected results, raised guidance? | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Hewlett Packard Enterprise raised its annual forecasts on Wednesday after delivering a stronger-than-expected July quarter, as accelerating demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure lifted server and networking sales. However, shares fell over 5% during extended trading as investors were likely assessing how sustainable the margin gains will be as AI systems make up a larger share of the product mix and supply constraints remain. HPE reported quarterly revenue of $12.2 billion, a 34% increase from a year earlier and above the $12 billion analysts expected, according to FactSet. Adjusted earnings came in at $1.11 per share, well ahead of the 93 cents expected. The company's cloud and AI business generated $9 billion in revenue, up 25% year over year. Server revenue rose 35% to $6.8 billion, while storage revenue increased 10% to $1.3 billion. HPE supplies both conventional data-center servers and AI-optimized systems incorporating processors and accelerators such as Nvidia's graphics processing units. The strength of server demand therefore provides another indication that companies continue to expand computing capacity to support AI workloads. The results also follow stronger forecasts from rivals including Dell Technologies and Super Micro Computer, as technology companies collectively prepare to spend more than $730 billion on AI infrastructure this year. HPE's upbeat results prompted the company to raise its outlook for both the current fiscal year and fiscal 2027. For the October quarter, HPE expects revenue between $13.9 billion and $14.8 billion, putting the midpoint above the $13 billion FactSet consensus. Adjusted earnings are expected to range from $1.20 to $1.30 per share, also above analysts' forecast of $1.07. For fiscal 2026, HPE now expects revenue growth of between 34% and 37%. Its networking business is expected to grow by 73% to 74%. The company also raised its fiscal 2027 revenue growth forecast to between 13% and 17%. That longer-term outlook suggests HPE expects AI demand to remain an important growth driver even after the current spending cycle matures. "It's clear to us that the market, the tailwinds in AI, particularly the adoption of AI in the enterprise, is really starting to settle in," Myers said. HPE expects enterprise adoption of AI to continue supporting growth beyond the current fiscal year. The biggest issue facing HPE may be its ability to meet demand profitably. Chief Financial Officer Marie Myers said component shortages remain a constraint, with memory representing the biggest bottleneck, followed by NAND, CPUs and drives. "Demand is far outstripping supply," Myers told Reuters. HPE has responded by signing longer-term supply agreements designed to improve access to critical components. But shortages could still affect the company's ability to fulfill orders and maintain margins. Management expects operating margin to decline sequentially in the October quarter, partly because of the changing product mix and pricing. "We expect our operating margin rate to decline sequentially, driven primarily by a higher mix of AI systems in cloud and pricing," Myers said on the earnings call. That could explain why investors were not more enthusiastic about an earnings report that otherwise exceeded expectations. HPE is also building inventory to support higher orders and its growing backlog. Inventory stood at $11.82 billion at the end of July, up significantly from $7.16 billion a year earlier. Myers attributed the increase to "higher commodity costs and targeted purchases to support increased orders and increased backlog," Reuters reported. Higher inventory can help HPE secure the components needed to fulfill customer orders, particularly when suppliers remain constrained. But it also ties up capital and exposes the company to potential risks if demand slows or component prices fall. For now, management appears confident that demand will remain strong enough to justify the additional inventory. The AI infrastructure race is broadening. |

The Trade Desk’s Earnings Miss Raises a Bigger Question About Its AI FutureHewlett Packard Enterprise NYSE: HPE reported record fiscal 2026 third-quarter results, citing accelerating demand for AI infrastructure, continued networking momentum and disciplined pricing. Get HPE alerts: AMD’s Helios Launch Could Create Winners Beyond AMD StockFree cash flow reached $958 million, HPE’s highest third-quarter result, while operating cash flow was $1.6 billion. Chief Executive Officer Antonio Neri said the company exceeded its financial commitments across revenue, gross margin, operating profit and earnings per share. “AI has become a multi-year growth driver, expanding demand across our HPE portfolio,” Neri said. “Customer demand in the quarter accelerated across both business segments, with orders growing faster than revenues.” Orders, backlog and supply constraints 5 Tech Stocks Holding Their Ground Through the AI Trade PullbackHPE said normalized order growth was 42% year over year, led by demand for traditional servers, AI systems and networking products. Hewlett Packard Enterprise reports Q3 earnings after the bell today, with Wall Street expecting $0.93 in EPS on $11.91 billion of revenue. Analysts’ revisions have skewed upward across every fiscal period, and the Street sits above the top of HPE’s $0.88-$0.93 guided EPS range. What I’m Watching Tonight: AI Backlog, Networking Margins, and Capital Return Tonight, I’m watching 5 things. First, AI systems traction. HPE booked $1.8 billion in new AI orders last quarter and entered Q3 with $5.9 billion in backlog. I’ll watch whether the enterprise and sovereign mix continues expanding margins over classic service-provider work. Second, networking normalized growth. Reported growth is currently inflated by the acquisition of Juniper Networks. Normalized networking revenue grew 10% last quarter, with campus and branch orders in the upper 20% range. Third, Catalyst savings pace. Headcount sits just over 65,000, down over 9% since programs began, and Juniper synergies are running ahead of the $200 million annual target. Fourth, supply constraints. CEO Antonio Neri flagged DRAM and NAND inflation as the binding constraint on order-to-revenue conversion. I’ll be watching for any insights on FY27 capacity. Fifth, we’re of course going to be watching HPE’s capital return. HPE guided to reach 2x net leverage by fiscal year-end, one year early, unlocking a 75% free cash flow payout policy. HPE raises annual forecasts as AI, networking demand lifts quarterly revenue | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE.N) raised its annual forecasts on Wednesday after reporting quarterly results that beat Wall Street expectations, as surging AI-related demand across networking and servers drove growth across its business.Shares of the company, however, fell 8% in extended trading. HPE's high-powered servers, which are essential for building and training AI models, have been in high demand from cloud computing giants and large enterprises. Enterprise IT infrastructure spending is strengthening, driven by continued investment in AI, server refresh cycles and rising demand for data center capacity, Citi analysts have said. "It's clear to us that the market, the tailwinds in AI, particularly the adoption of AI in the enterprise, is really starting to settle in," CFO Marie Myers told Reuters in an interview. HPE expects enterprise adoption of AI to support growth beyond the current fiscal year, Myers said, after customers spent fiscal 2025 and 2026 testing AI systems and beginning deployments that are showing productivity gains. HPE on Wednesday also announced an expansion to its collaboration with Oracle (ORCL.N) to help scale the software giant's global AI infrastructure, deploying HPE Juniper Networking equipment across Oracle's AI data centers. Myers noted that supply remained constrained, with memory being the main bottleneck, followed by NAND, CPUs and drives, though HPE has signed longer-term supply agreements to improve access to components. "Demand is far outstripping supply." HPE forecast fiscal 2026 revenue growth of 34% to 37%, up from 29% to 33% previously, and raised its adjusted earnings forecast to between $3.75 and $3.85 per share, from $3.35 and $3.45. For fiscal 2027, HPE now projects revenue growth of 13% to 17%, up from 8% to 12%, with adjusted EPS growth of 16% to 20%, versus 12% to 16% forecast previously. Third-quarter revenue grew 33.6% to $12.21 billion, beating estimates of $11.91 billion. HPE earned $1.11 per share on an adjusted basis, ahead of estimates of 93 cents. HPE's results follow strong forecasts from rivals Dell (DELL.N) and Super Micro (SMCI.O) as Big Tech's AI spending is set to exceed $730 billion this year. |

HPE vs. AMD: Which Stock Is the Better Value Option? | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Investors with an interest in Computer - Integrated Systems stocks have likely encountered both Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE - Free Report) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD - Free Report) . But which of these two stocks is more attractive to value investors? We'll need to take a closer look to find out. There are plenty of strategies for discovering value stocks, but we have found that pairing a strong Zacks Rank with an impressive grade in the Value category of our Style Scores system produces the best returns. The proven Zacks Rank puts an emphasis on earnings estimates and estimate revisions, while our Style Scores work to identify stocks with specific traits. Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Advanced Micro Devices are sporting Zacks Ranks of #2 (Buy) and #3 (Hold), respectively, right now. This system places an emphasis on companies that have seen positive earnings estimate revisions, so investors should feel comfortable knowing that HPE is likely seeing its earnings outlook improve to a greater extent. However, value investors will care about much more than just this. Value investors analyze a variety of traditional, tried-and-true metrics to help find companies that they believe are undervalued at their current share price levels. Our Value category grades stocks based on a number of key metrics, including the tried-and-true P/E ratio, the P/S ratio, earnings yield, and cash flow per share, as well as a variety of other fundamentals that value investors frequently use. HPE currently has a forward P/E ratio of 14.78, while AMD has a forward P/E of 61.38. We also note that HPE has a PEG ratio of 0.46. This popular figure is similar to the widely-used P/E ratio, but the PEG ratio also considers a company's expected EPS growth rate. AMD currently has a PEG ratio of 4.09. Another notable valuation metric for HPE is its P/B ratio of 2.66. The P/B ratio pits a stock's market value against its book value, which is defined as total assets minus total liabilities. For comparison, AMD has a P/B of 11.16. Based on these metrics and many more, HPE holds a Value grade of B, while AMD has a Value grade of F. HPE is currently sporting an improving earnings outlook, which makes it stick out in our Zacks Rank model. And, based on the above valuation metrics, we feel that HPE is likely the superior value option right now. |

HPE stock forms rare cup-and-handle pattern as Dell earnings set up key catalyst | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
powered byHPE buy Buy Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Dell’s AI-server surge (record orders/backlog) is a direct demand signal for the same enterprise hardware stack, and the article flags HPE’s own prior margin expansion and a likely upside setup for the upcoming print. Technicals add fuel: HPE is in the handle of a rare cup-and-handle, with a clear trigger above $63.75 and a measured move toward ~$87.56 if the pattern confirms. Key Risk: HPE’s earnings miss on revenue growth or margins, showing AI/server demand isn’t translating to HPE’s backlog and pricing power. SMCI sell Sell Super Micro Computer (SMCI). If Dell’s results are the “AI server demand proof,” the market will likely rotate toward the biggest, most diversified beneficiaries (Dell/HPE) and away from higher-variance, more headline-driven names. Use this as a relative-value trade: SMCI’s upside may be capped if investors decide the AI server cycle is already being captured by larger players. Key Risk: SMCI reports another blowout quarter with accelerating margins/backlog, proving it’s still the primary share-gainer in AI servers. HP Enterprise stock jumped by 4% in extended hours after Dell, its top competitor, announced strong financial results, which drove its shares up by nearly 10%. HPE jumped to $53.45, up modestly from Tuesday’s close of $50 as focus now shifts to its earnings. HPE stock jumped after Dell, its top rival, released strong financial results, shedding more color on its business. In a statement, Dell said that its revenue jumped by 58% in the second quarter to $47 billion, with annual revenue expected to jump by 69% to $192 billion. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) said: “That’s clearest in our AI server business, where we booked a record $60.9 billion in orders, recognized a record $16.4 billion in revenue and exited the quarter with a record $95 billion backlog. We’re seeing broader revenue growth as well, with traditional servers and networking up 122% and storage up 26%.” These earnings are important because Dell and HP Enterprise provide similar products and services. HPE may also release strong results, as we saw with other top competitors like Lenovo Group and Super Micro Computer. This is what happened in the last earnings report, which showed that its revenue jumped by 40% to $10.7 billion, with its gross margins rising by 750 basis points to 36.9%. Its growth was driven by its networking revenue, which jumped by 148% to $2.7 billion and its cloud and AI, which jumped by 23% during the quarter. Analysts expect the upcoming numbers to show that HP Enterprise’s revenue jumped by 30% in the last quarter to $12 billion. As we have seen with other companies in the AI industry, chances are that its revenue and earnings per share (EPS) will be better than expected. Traders will be looking at its revenue backlog and its margins, which are expected to continue growing. In Dell’s case, its gross margin rose to 20.9% from 18.3% in the same period last year as prices continued rising. These numbers come at a time when the company’s valuation seems like a bargain. It has a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 15, much lower than the technology sector median of 22. It is also lower than other technology companies like Nvidia and AMD. HPE stock chart | Source: TradingView The daily chart shows that the HPE share price has pulled back in the past few weeks, moving from a high of $63.75 in August to $50.87 on Tuesday. A closer look shows that the stock has formed a cup-and-handle pattern and is now in the handle section. This pattern normally leads to a strong rebound. In this case, the cup has a depth of 37%. Measuring the same distance from the cup’s upper side means that the stock may rebound to $87.56 in the long term. This view will be confirmed if it rises above the upper side of the cup at $63.75. |

Original source text
HPE (NYSE: HPE) and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club (Spurs), today announced an expansion of their long-standing partnership. As the Club's Official Hybrid Cloud and IT Enterprise Networking Partner, HPE will modernize the technology environment that powers Spurs’ Stadium. From ticketless entry and cashless payments to mobile applications, digital wayfinding, and high-density connectivity, the transformation will support every digital interaction across the supporter journey while enabling the Club to rapidly introduce new services and fan experiences.Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has built a global reputation for innovation as one of the world's most technologically advanced, multi-use sporting venues, hosting NFL games, concerts, boxing, and other large-scale global events throughout the year, in addition to football matches. As fan expectations continue to evolve, from seamless mobile experiences and digital ticketing to high-density streaming and real-time engagement, the Club has invested in the next evolution of its technology environment to meet rising fan expectations while simplifying operations and creating a more resilient foundation for long-term growth. “Our goal isn't simply to refresh our infrastructure. It's to build a simpler, more resilient technology environment that gives us the flexibility to innovate for years to come, streamline operations and support the Club's long-term growth,” said Rob Pickering, Chief Technology Officer, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. “By bringing together AI, hybrid cloud, networking, services, and financial solutions through a single strategic partner, HPE is helping us simplify operations so our teams can focus on supporting every part of the Stadium, from match days to third-party events and day-to-day operations, rather than managing technology. Ultimately, the best technology is invisible to our fans.” By simplifying IT operations through an as-a-service operating model, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium gains greater agility, predictable and optimized IT costs, improved sustainability performance, and AI-powered operations that deliver the resilience and efficiency required to support major sporting and entertainment events. “Sport and entertainment venues are becoming increasingly connected and data-driven, and this partnership reflects a shared commitment to building the digital foundation required to support that evolution,” said Matt Harris, senior vice president & managing director, UK, Ireland, Middle East & Africa, HPE. “Together, we're helping Spurs build an AI-driven technology backbone that powers every aspect of the stadium, from critical operations behind the scenes to the digital experiences supporters enjoy on match days and beyond.” The technology behind the transformation At the heart of the transformation, GreenLake will provide a unified hybrid cloud operating model, giving Spurs real-time visibility across its IT estate. Modernized infrastructure, powered by HPE ProLiant Compute Gen12 servers and HPE Alletra Storage MP, consolidates distributed environments from eight locations into two core environments, delivering the compute, storage and hybrid cloud capabilities that power critical Club operations, from cashless commerce, security and IPTV to point-of-sale systems, crowd analytics and the next generation of AI-driven fan services. Operational software automates infrastructure management, simplifying operations through AI-driven automation that proactively identify and resolve issues. Solutions including HPE Morpheus Software and HPE OpsRamp Software will enable the Club's lean IT team to manage a complex, multi-site environment more efficiently while modernizing virtualization platforms and reducing operational overhead. Building an AI-native network for an intelligent stadium Tottenham Hotspur is transforming its stadium connectivity by deploying HPE Networking infrastructure to unify data center, campus, and edge networking under a single agentic AI operations model. Managed through the HPE Aruba Central platform, the deployment transforms network operations from reactive management to autonomous execution. HPE's self-driving network continuously analyzes user, application, and network experience data, proactively detects issues, and automatically takes action to optimize performance, resolve problems, and keep the network operating at its best with minimal IT intervention. As one of the first stadiums to deploy outdoor Wi‑Fi 7, the Club is raising the bar for the modern stadium experience, combining AI-native network operations with high capacity, speed, and resilience to keep tens of thousands of fans simultaneously accessing digital services and sharing live content. HPE Networking ClearPass Policy Manager strengthens security through AI-driven policy management and identity-based access controls, helping protect users, devices, and critical stadium operations with a Zero Trust approach. Why Investors Need to Take Advantage of These 2 Computer and Technology Stocks Now | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Quarterly financial reports play a vital role on Wall Street, as they help investors see how a company has performed and what might be coming down the road in the near-term. And out of all of the metrics and results to consider, earnings is one of the most important.Life and the stock market are both about expectations, and rising above what is expected is often rewarded, while falling short can come with negative consequences. Investors might want to try to capture stronger returns by finding positive earnings surprises. Now that we know how important earnings and earnings surprises are, it's time to show investors how to take advantage of these events to boost their returns by utilizing the Zacks Earnings ESP filter. The Zacks Earnings ESP, ExplainedThe Zacks Earnings ESP is more formally known as the Expected Surprise Prediction, and it aims to grab the inside track on the latest analyst estimate revisions ahead of a company's report. The idea is relatively intuitive as a newer projection might be based on more complete information. With this in mind, the Expected Surprise Prediction compares the Most Accurate Estimate (being the most recent) against the overall Zacks Consensus Estimate. The percentage difference provides the ESP figure. The system also utilizes our core Zacks Rank to provide a stronger system for identifying stocks that might beat their next quarterly earnings estimate and possibly see the stock price climb. Bringing together a positive earnings ESP alongside a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) or better has helped stocks report a positive earnings surprise 70% of the time. Furthermore, by using these parameters, investors have seen 28.3% annual returns on average, according to our 10 year backtest. Most stocks, about 60%, fall into the #3 (Hold) category, and they are expected to perform in-line with the broader market. Stocks with a #2 (Buy) and #1 (Strong Buy) rating, or the top 15% and top 5% of stocks, respectively, should outperform the market, with Strong Buy stocks outperforming more than any other rank. Should You Consider Hewlett Packard Enterprise? The last thing we will do today, now that we have a grasp on the ESP and how powerful of a tool it can be, is to quickly look at a qualifying stock. Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE - Free Report) holds a #2 (Buy) at the moment and its Most Accurate Estimate comes in at $1.01 a share two days away from its upcoming earnings release on September 2, 2026. Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Earnings ESP sits at +6.54%, which, as explained above, is calculated by taking the percentage difference between the $1.01 Most Accurate Estimate and the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.94. HPE is also part of a large group of stocks that boast a positive ESP. Make sure to utilize our Earnings ESP Filter to uncover the best stocks to buy or sell before they've reported. HPE is part of a big group of Computer and Technology stocks that boast a positive ESP, and investors may want to take a look at Garmin (GRMN - Free Report) as well. Hewlett Packard Enterprise Q3: Margins Matter More Than AI Orders | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
SummarySimilar to Dell, I'm concerned the focus with Hewlett Packard Enterprise may be on margins, since the Street largely anticipated a beat and raise.HPE booked $1.8B of new AI orders in Q2 alone. I need that backlog to keep climbing, and I want to see a mix tilted toward enterprise and sovereign customers.HPE is guiding to at least $2B of cumulative AI-networking orders in FY26. I want that pipeline to convert without giving up the segment’s 21.6% margin.I’m neutral heading into the print. I think no trade is the best trade until HPE proves another raise can come with better margin quality. Sundry Photography/iStock Editorial via Getty ImagesSince my first coverage on this name, when I rated Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (HPE) as a strong buy, citing "Networking To Take Off After The Juniper Integration", the stock more than doubled. 14.45K Followers Analyst’s Disclosure: I/we have no stock, option or similar derivative position in any of the companies mentioned, and no plans to initiate any such positions within the next 72 hours. Bet on These 5 Dividend Growth Stocks Ahead of NVIDIA's Q2 Earnings Report | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Key Takeaways Dell Technologies is among five dividend-growth stocks selected as markets favor greater stability. Taiwan Semiconductor, EnerSys and others cleared screens for dividend, sales and earnings growth. The five stocks also showed favorable cash-flow valuations and stronger 52-week gains than the S&P 500. Wall Street closed on a mixed note on Aug. 24, 2026, highlighting a sharp sector divergence. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq were dragged down by heavy sell-offs in tech stocks ahead of NVIDIA’s (NVDA - Free Report) highly anticipated fiscal second-quarter earnings report. However, the Dow Jones Industrial Average managed to inch higher as investors rotated out of high-valuation growth names and into defensive blue-chip stocks. With persistent pressure from elevated bond yields and sticky inflation lingering in the background, this market shift underscores a growing preference for stability. Amid this backdrop, steady dividend-growth stocks offer a prudent balance of consistent income, lower volatility, and reliable long-term returns compared to their high-growth counterparts. These dividend-growth stocks boast a consistent track record of raising payouts, underscoring the balance-sheet strength and cash-flow resilience required to navigate a period in which the traditional growth narrative is being reassessed. Stocks with a strong history of year-over-year dividend growth can help build a resilient portfolio with greater potential for capital appreciation compared to simple dividend-paying or high-yield stocks. We have selected five dividend growth stocks — Dell Technologies (DELL - Free Report) , Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM - Free Report) , Enersys Inc. (ENS - Free Report) , Cheesecake Factory (CAKE - Free Report) and Hewlett Packard (HPE - Free Report) — that could be solid choices for your portfolio. Why Is Dividend Growth Better?Stocks with a strong history of dividend growth are typically associated with mature companies that are less prone to sharp market swings, allowing them to serve as a hedge against economic or political uncertainty as well as broader market volatility. Their steadily rising payouts provide some measure of downside protection. These companies are generally backed by solid fundamentals, making them attractive long-term dividend-growth investments. Key strengths include durable business models, consistent profitability, expanding cash flows, healthy liquidity, strong balance sheets and attractive valuations. A consistent history of dividend growth underscores the potential for continued growth ahead. Although these stocks do not necessarily have the highest yields, they have outperformed the broader stock market or any other dividend-paying stock for an extended period. As a result, selecting dividend-growth stocks appears to be a winning strategy when other key parameters are taken into account. 5-Year Historical Dividend Growth Greater Than Zero: This selects stocks with a solid dividend growth history. 5-Year Historical Sales Growth Greater Than Zero: This represents stocks with a strong record of growing revenues. 5-Year Historical EPS Growth Greater Than Zero: This represents stocks with a solid earnings growth history. Next 3-5 Year EPS Growth Rate Greater Than Zero: This represents the rate at which a company’s earnings are expected to grow. Improving earnings should help companies sustain dividend payments. Price/Cash Flow Less Than M-Industry: A ratio lower than the industry median indicates that a stock is undervalued within its industry, meaning an investor would pay less for the company’s cash flow. 52-Week Price Change Greater Than S&P 500 (Market Weight): This ensures that a stock has appreciated more than the S&P 500 over the past year. Top Zacks Rank: Stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) or 2 (Buy) generally outperform their peers in all types of market environments. Growth Score of B or better: Our research shows that stocks with a Growth Score of A or B, when combined with a Zacks Rank #1 or 2, offer the best upside potential. These few criteria alone narrowed the universe from more than 7,700 stocks to just five. Here are the five stocks that fit the bill: Texas-based Dell Technologies is a leading provider of servers, storage and personal computers. The company’s IT solutions support customers in traditional infrastructure and multi-cloud environments. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for DELL’s fiscal 2027 revenues suggests a year-over-year improvement of 54.6%. The stock boasts a long-term (three-to-five years) earnings growth rate of 26.40%. It has an annual dividend yield of 0.57%. DELL currently carries a Zacks Rank #2 and has a Growth Score of A. Headquartered in Taiwan, Taiwan Semiconductor is the world's largest dedicated integrated circuit (IC) foundry. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for TSM’s 2026 revenues suggests a year-over-year improvement of 35.7%. The stock boasts a long-term earnings growth rate of 26.50% and an annual dividend yield of 0.71%. TSM currently sports a Zacks Rank #1 and a Growth Score of B. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank stocks here. Pennsylvania-based EnerSys manufactures, markets, and distributes industrial batteries and related stored-energy products. It also develops battery chargers and accessories, power electronics, power equipment and outdoor cabinet enclosures. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for ENS’ fiscal 2027 revenues suggests a year-over-year improvement of 3.7%. The stock boasts a long-term earnings growth rate of 15% and has an annual dividend yield of 0.55%. ENS currently sports a Zacks Rank #1 and a Growth Score of A. Headquartered in California, Cheesecake Factory is a restaurant and bakery company that owns and operates hundreds of upscale, full-service dining locations. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for CAKE’s 2026 revenues suggests a year-over-year improvement of 6.8%. The stock boasts a long-term earnings growth rate of 12.50% and an annual dividend yield of 1.06%. CAKE currently holds a Zacks Rank #2 and a Growth Score of B. California-based Hewlett Packard is a leader in essential enterprise technology. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for HPE’s fiscal 2026 revenues suggests a 31.7% year-over-year improvement. The stock boasts a long-term earnings growth rate of 32% and has an annual dividend yield of 1.07%. HPE currently carries a Zacks Rank #2 and a Growth Score of A. |

China's Huawei, US PC maker HP sign multi-year Wi-Fi patent deal | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
China's Huawei Technologies (HWT.UL) said on Wednesday it had reached a multi-year cross-licence agreement with HP Inc (HPQ.N), covering patents used in Wi-Fi technology, including the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard. The deal gives HP access to Huawei patents and gives Huawei access to HP patents, though neither company disclosed financial terms. Huawei did not detail the scope of the patents it would receive from HP. HP said the agreement was a routine licence for technology used broadly across the industry, rather than the start of a wider commercial relationship with the Chinese technology company. "This is a standard-essential patent licence covering Wi-Fi technology," an HP spokesperson said. "It is not new, and does not represent a broader strategic or commercial relationship, partnership, or collaboration with Huawei." Standard-essential patents cover inventions that companies may need to use in order to make products compatible with an industry standard, such as Wi-Fi. Such licences are common for makers of computers, printers, phones and other devices that connect to wireless networks. The agreement shows Huawei remains an important holder of patents used in global wireless standards, despite U.S. restrictions requiring U.S. carriers to remove their equipment from U.S. networks. HUAWEI-HP DEAL FOLLOWS LEGAL DISPUTE Huawei has expanded its patent portfolio and licensing business in recent years, reaching settlements with companies including Amazon. It has said it is among the leading holders of patents needed to implement Wi-Fi 6, the prior generation of the wireless standard. Huawei has set a fee of 50 cents for each consumer device using its Wi-Fi 6 technology. More than 1.6 billion consumer electronic devices, excluding mobile phones, had used Huawei's Wi-Fi-related inventions by the end of 2025, the company said. Wednesday's agreement follows a lawsuit Huawei filed against HP at Europe's Unified Patent Court in August 2025, accusing the U.S. company of using a Wi-Fi 6 patent without permission, according to intellectual-property publication IAM. HP joined the Sisvel Wi-Fi 6 patent pool in November 2025, ending legal actions against it by Huawei and Philips. The pool gives companies access through a single agreement to about 2,000 patents considered necessary for Wi-Fi 6 products. Huawei said the new direct deal covers a broader set of its Wi-Fi patents, including Wi-Fi 7. Huawei has faced U.S. trade restrictions since 2019, when Washington added the company to a trade blacklist that generally requires suppliers to obtain government approval before providing certain U.S.-origin technology. The restrictions have limited Huawei's ability to buy advanced semiconductors and crucial software, but do not automatically bar patent-licensing agreements. HP, based in Palo Alto, California, was the world's second-largest PC maker with a 21.3% market share, behind Lenovo, according to Gartner data. |

5 Low P/B Stocks That Investors Can Add to Their Portfolio for Gains | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Key Takeaways Invesco, Centene, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Gibraltar Industries and Avnet qualified as low P/B stocks.Centene has a Value Score of A and a projected 3-5-year EPS growth rate of 38.2%.Avnet has a Value Score of A and a projected 3-5-year EPS growth rate of 31.3%. In value investing, a widely followed strategy is to identify stocks that are attractively valued but backed by solid fundamentals. Investors use various approaches to find value stocks that align with their individual investment preferences.Among these approaches, the price-to-book (P/B) ratio is a simple and widely used metric for identifying potentially undervalued stocks with growth potential. The P/B ratio measures how much investors are paying for each dollar of a company’s book value. It is calculated by dividing the stock’s current market price by its latest quarterly book value per share. This metric can help identify attractively priced stocks with upside potential. Some such stocks are Invesco (IVZ - Free Report) , Centene Corporation (CNC - Free Report) , Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE - Free Report) , Gibraltar Industries (ROCK - Free Report) and Avnet (AVT - Free Report) . Let us understand the concept of book value. What is Book Value? There are several ways in which book value can be defined. Book value is the total value that would be left over, according to the company’s balance sheet, if it went bankrupt immediately. In other words, this is what shareholders would theoretically receive if a company liquidated all its assets after paying off all its liabilities. It is calculated by subtracting total liabilities from the total assets of a company. In most cases, this equates to common stockholders’ equity on the balance sheet. However, depending on the company’s balance sheet, intangible assets should also be subtracted from total assets to determine book value. Book Value Per Share = (Total Assets – Total Liabilities) ÷ Number of Outstanding Shares Understanding P/B RatioBy comparing the book value of equity to its market price, we get an idea of whether a company is under- or overpriced. Like P/E or P/S ratios, it is always better to compare the P/B ratio within industries. A P/B ratio of less than one means that the stock is trading at less than its book value or the stock is undervalued and, therefore, a good buy. Conversely, a stock with a ratio greater than one can be interpreted as being overvalued or relatively expensive. For example, a stock with a P/B ratio of 2 means that we pay $2 for every $1 of book value. Thus, the higher the P/B, the more expensive the stock. But there is a warning. A P/B ratio of less than one can also mean that the company is earning weak or even negative returns on its assets or that the assets are overstated. In such a case, the stock should be shunned because it may be destroying shareholder value. Conversely, the stock’s price may be significantly high — thereby pushing the P/B ratio to more than one — in the likely case that it has become a takeover target, a good enough reason to own the stock. Moreover, the P/B ratio is not without limitations. It is useful for businesses like finance, investments, insurance and banking or manufacturing companies with many liquid/tangible assets on the books. However, it can be misleading for firms with significant R&D expenditure, high debt, service companies, or those with negative earnings. In any case, the ratio is not particularly relevant as a standalone number. One should analyze other ratios like P/E, P/S and debt to equity before arriving at a reasonable investment decision. Screening ParametersPrice to Book (Common Equity) less than X-Industry Median: A lower P/B compared with the industry average implies that there is enough room for the stock to gain. Price to Sales less than X-Industry Median: The P/S ratio determines how much the market values every dollar of the company’s sales/revenues — a lower ratio than the industry makes the stock attractive. Price to Earnings using F(1) estimate less than X-Industry Median: The P/E ratio (F1) values a company based on its current share price relative to its estimated earnings per share — a lower ratio than the industry is considered better. PEG less than 1: PEG links the P/E ratio to the future growth rate of the company. The PEG ratio portrays a more complete picture than the P/E ratio. A value of less than 1 indicates that the stock is undervalued, and investors need to pay less for a stock that has bright earnings growth prospects. Current Price greater than or equal to $5: They must all be trading at a minimum of $5 or higher. Average 20-Day Volume greater than or equal to 100,000: A substantial trading volume ensures that the stock is easily tradable. Zacks Rank less than or equal to #2: Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) or 2 (Buy) stocks are known to outperform irrespective of the market environment. Value Score equal to A or B: Our research shows that stocks with a Value Score of A or B, when combined with a Zacks Rank #1 or 2, offer the best opportunities in the value investing space. 5 Low Price-to-Book StocksHere are five of the 19 stocks that qualified for the screening: Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, Invesco Ltd. operates as an independent investment manager and offers a wide range of investment products and services. IVZ has a Zacks Rank #1 and a Value Score of B. Invesco has a projected 3-5-year EPS growth rate of 24.4%. You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank stocks here. Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Crossed Above the 20-Day Moving Average: What That Means for Investors | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
After reaching an important support level, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE - Free Report) could be a good stock pick from a technical perspective. HPE surpassed resistance at the 20-day moving average, suggesting a short-term bullish trend. The 20-day simple moving average is a popular investing tool. Traders like this SMA because it offers a look back at a stock's price over a shorter period and helps smooth out price fluctuations. The 20-day can also show more trend reversal signals than longer-term moving averages. Similar to other SMAs, if a stock's price moves above the 20-day, the trend is considered positive, while price falling below the moving average can signal a downward trend. HPE has rallied 17.2% over the past four weeks, and the company is a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) at the moment. This combination suggests HPE could be on the verge of another move higher. The bullish case solidifies once investors consider HPE's positive earnings estimate revisions. No estimate has gone lower in the past two months for the current fiscal year, compared to 1 higher, while the consensus estimate has increased too. Investors may want to watch HPE for more gains in the near future given the company's key technical level and positive earnings estimate revisions. |

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Earnings Expected to Grow: What to Know Ahead of Next Week's Release | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Wall Street expects a year-over-year increase in earnings on higher revenues when Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE - Free Report) reports results for the quarter ended July 2026. While this widely-known consensus outlook is important in gauging the company's earnings picture, a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price is how the actual results compare to these estimates. The earnings report, which is expected to be released on September 2, might help the stock move higher if these key numbers are better than expectations. On the other hand, if they miss, the stock may move lower. While management's discussion of business conditions on the earnings call will mostly determine the sustainability of the immediate price change and future earnings expectations, it's worth having a handicapping insight into the odds of a positive EPS surprise. Zacks Consensus EstimateThis information technology products and services provider is expected to post quarterly earnings of $0.94 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of +113.6%. Revenues are expected to be $12.05 billion, up 31.9% from the year-ago quarter. Estimate Revisions TrendThe consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 1.31% higher over the last 30 days to the current level. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period. Investors should keep in mind that the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts may not always get reflected in the aggregate change. Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise Earnings WhisperEstimate revisions ahead of a company's earnings release offer clues to the business conditions for the period whose results are coming out. Our proprietary surprise prediction model -- the Zacks Earnings ESP (Expected Surprise Prediction) -- has this insight at its core. The Zacks Earnings ESP compares the Most Accurate Estimate to the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the quarter; the Most Accurate Estimate is a more recent version of the Zacks Consensus EPS estimate. The idea here is that analysts revising their estimates right before an earnings release have the latest information, which could potentially be more accurate than what they and others contributing to the consensus had predicted earlier. Thus, a positive or negative Earnings ESP reading theoretically indicates the likely deviation of the actual earnings from the consensus estimate. However, the model's predictive power is significant for positive ESP readings only. A positive Earnings ESP is a strong predictor of an earnings beat, particularly when combined with a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), 2 (Buy) or 3 (Hold). Our research shows that stocks with this combination produce a positive surprise nearly 70% of the time, and a solid Zacks Rank actually increases the predictive power of Earnings ESP. Please note that a negative Earnings ESP reading is not indicative of an earnings miss. Our research shows that it is difficult to predict an earnings beat with any degree of confidence for stocks with negative Earnings ESP readings and/or Zacks Rank of 4 (Sell) or 5 (Strong Sell). How Have the Numbers Shaped Up for Hewlett Packard Enterprise? For Hewlett Packard Enterprise, the Most Accurate Estimate is higher than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bullish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of +9.96%. On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #2. So, this combination indicates that Hewlett Packard Enterprise will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate. Does Earnings Surprise History Hold Any Clue?Analysts often consider to what extent a company has been able to match consensus estimates in the past while calculating their estimates for its future earnings. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number. For the last reported quarter, it was expected that Hewlett Packard Enterprise would post earnings of $0.54 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.79, delivering a surprise of +46.30%. Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates four times. Bottom LineAn earnings beat or miss may not be the sole basis for a stock moving higher or lower. Many stocks end up losing ground despite an earnings beat due to other factors that disappoint investors. Similarly, unforeseen catalysts help a number of stocks gain despite an earnings miss. That said, betting on stocks that are expected to beat earnings expectations does increase the odds of success. This is why it's worth checking a company's Earnings ESP and Zacks Rank ahead of its quarterly release. Make sure to utilize our Earnings ESP Filter to uncover the best stocks to buy or sell before they've reported. Hewlett Packard Enterprise appears a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release. An Industry Player's Expected ResultsAnother stock from the Zacks Computer - Integrated Systems industry, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE - Free Report) , is soon expected to post earnings of $0.94 per share for the quarter ended July 2026. This estimate indicates a year-over-year change of +113.6%. Revenues for the quarter are expected to be $12.05 billion, up 31.9% from the year-ago quarter. Over the last 30 days, the consensus EPS estimate for Hewlett Packard Enterprise has been revised 1.3% up to the current level. Nevertheless, the company now has an Earnings ESP of +9.96%, reflecting a higher Most Accurate Estimate. When combined with a Zacks Rank of #2 (Buy), this Earnings ESP indicates that Hewlett Packard Enterprise will most likely beat the consensus EPS estimate. The company beat consensus EPS estimates in each of the trailing four quarters. Stay on top of upcoming earnings announcements with the Zacks Earnings Calendar. |

HPE's Private Cloud AI Gains Momentum: What Lies Ahead? | FMP Stock News
|
Original source text
Key Takeaways HPE's Private Cloud AI gains traction as customer wins and orders continue to grow.HPE's AI Systems backlog provides visibility as enterprises move toward larger-scale AI deployments.HPE can cross-sell Private Cloud AI through its expanding GreenLake ecosystem and installed base. Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s (HPE - Free Report) Private Cloud AI business continues to gain traction as enterprises increasingly look to deploy AI workloads in their own IT environments. Rather than relying entirely on public cloud infrastructure, businesses are adopting private AI systems to gain greater control over data, security, performance and costs. HPE’s latest results suggest this shift is translating into sustained demand for its Private Cloud AI offerings.Private Cloud AI orders have grown steadily over the past few quarters, supported by an increasing number of customer wins. The momentum was reinforced by broader strength across HPE’s Cloud & AI segment, where revenues grew strongly year over year, and orders continued to outpace revenues. This indicates that demand for AI infrastructure remains healthy and could support future revenue growth as existing orders convert to deployments. HPE’s AI Systems backlog also provides visibility into the company’s future growth. The strong level of committed demand, combined with continued new orders, suggests that enterprises are progressing from AI experimentation toward larger-scale deployments. Increasing investments in compute infrastructure and unstructured data storage alongside Private Cloud AI further highlight the broader infrastructure requirements associated with enterprise AI adoption. The expanding GreenLake ecosystem adds another potential growth avenue. With millions of systems already managed through the platform and a large enterprise customer base, HPE has an established channel to introduce Private Cloud AI and related infrastructure solutions. As customers modernize their IT environments, HPE can increasingly cross-sell AI capabilities into its existing installed base. Overall, continued growth in customer wins, AI infrastructure demand and orders indicates a solid trajectory for HPE’s Private Cloud AI business. If enterprises maintain their preference for secure, controlled and scalable AI environments, Private Cloud AI could remain an increasingly important growth driver for HPE in the coming quarters. How Competitors Fare Against HPEHewlett Packard Enterprise’s closest competitors in this domain are Dell Technologies (DELL - Free Report) and Cisco (CSCO - Free Report) . Dell AI Factory combined with NVIDIA is arguably the most direct alternative for HPE private cloud AI. Cisco focuses on AI networking and integrated AI Pods. Cisco has started competing strongly with HPE after acquiring Splunk and through its partnership with NVIDIA.
