Eos Energy očekává tržby až 83 milionů USD
EOSE Eos Energy Enterprises
FMP Stock News 97
Original source text
PITTSBURGH, Oct. 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: EOSE) (“Eos” or the “Company”), America’s leading innovator in designing, manufacturing, and providing zinc-based long-duration energy storage (LDES) systems sourced and manufactured in the United States, today announced preliminary financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026.

Based on preliminary financial information, Eos currently expects:

Revenue of $82 to $83 million, representing approximately 19% to 21% sequential growth and approximately 169% to 172% year-over-year growth. Shipments increased approximately 23% quarter over quarter, supported by continued production scaling at the Company's second manufacturing line at its Thorn Hill facility. During the quarter, Line 2 contributed approximately 17% of total battery production and exited the quarter with first-pass yield aligned to Line 1 performance. The line continued to operate on a partial-shift schedule at Thorn Hill as the Company progressed the hiring, onboarding, and training of additional employees to support production growth and full-shift operations.
GAAP gross margin of (55)% to (53)%, representing an improvement of approximately 16 to 18 percentage points compared to the second quarter of 2026, driven by higher production volumes and lower conversion costs per unit. Eos achieved its eighth consecutive quarter of gross margin improvement. As the Company continues staffing and training employees to support additional shifts on Line 2 at Thorn Hill, Eos expects further margin expansion from higher production volumes, higher capacity utilization, consolidation into one footprint, and ongoing material cost-reduction initiatives.
Total cash, including restricted cash, was approximately $344 million as of September 30, 2026, compared to $364 million as of June 30, 2026. Quarter-end cash was supported by approximately $114 million of operating cash inflows driven primarily by customer deposits, project milestone receipts, and tax credit collections, as well as an additional $87 million advance under the DOE loan facility. Capital expenditures totaled approximately $35 million, primarily related to completion of Line 2 automation.
Backlog of approximately $765 million as of September 30, 2026, representing approximately 3.2 GWh, after revenue recognized during the quarter and new orders booked. During the quarter, six purchase orders were received from six different customers, including a previously announced $100 million order under an existing capacity reservation agreement, which did not contribute to quarter-over-quarter backlog growth. Commercial traction continued across the defense, commercial & industrial (C&I), and data center markets. During the quarter, Eos announced key projects supporting the Golden Dome initiative for mission-critical defense applications and, alongside MN8, a project with Google, highlighting the growing demand for long-duration energy storage systems in data center applications.
The Company currently expects full-year 2026 revenue in the lower half of its $300 million to $350 million range. The current forecast reflects the addition of the final shift to bring Thorn Hill to 24-hour operation during the fourth quarter. Eos enters the fourth quarter with strong revenue visibility supported by customer commitments and projects in backlog. Following the manufacturing consolidation and achievement of full-scale operations, Thorn Hill will serve as the Company's manufacturing facility and is expected to have approximately 4 GWh of annual nameplate production capacity across its two production lines.

“We delivered our highest revenue to date and improved gross margin by roughly 17 points as volume begins to ramp at Thorn Hill,” said Alessandro Lagi, Chief Financial Officer of Eos. “Consolidating into Thorn Hill is the right decision for the Company. It gives us one modern, higher throughput site, lowers our cost per unit, and puts us on a clear path to positive margins. We’re being disciplined about the transition in the fourth quarter and customer demand for American-made long-duration storage remains strong.”

Conference Call Details

The Company will report its full third quarter 2026 financial results before the U.S. market opens on November 5, 2026. A conference call to discuss its results will take place the same morning at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time.

The live webcast of the earnings call will be available on the “Investor Relations” page of the Company’s website at Eos Investors or may be accessed using this link (Registration Link). To avoid delays, we encourage participants to join the conference call fifteen minutes ahead of the scheduled start time.

Key Metrics

Backlog. Our backlog represents the amount of revenue that we expect to realize from existing agreements with our customers for the sale of our battery energy storage systems and performance of services. The backlog is calculated by adding new orders in the current fiscal period to the backlog as of the end of the prior fiscal period and then subtracting the shipments in the current fiscal period. If the amount of an order is modified or cancelled, we adjust orders in the current period and our backlog accordingly, but do not retroactively adjust previously published backlogs. There is no comparable U.S. GAAP financial measure to backlog. We believe that the backlog is a useful indicator regarding the future revenue of our Company.

Finding tiny AI stocks can be lucrative. These stocks can move quickly upon securing hyperscalers as customers, and multi-year tailwinds can keep the momentum going.

Eos Energy Enterprises (EOSE -2.46%) may be one of those stocks, if investors can be patient. Investors got ahead of themselves last year, with the stock price jumping from $4 to nearly $20 in less than six months. Shares have crashed since then, but Eos Energy Enterprises' long-term importance in the AI build-out has grown. Here's what investors should know.

Where Eos Energy Enterprises fits into the AI puzzle Eos Energy Enterprises is a $1 billion company that addresses the energy bottleneck. Its zinc-powered battery systems are considered a viable alternative to lithium-ion batteries. A zinc battery solves the fire safety concerns of lithium-ion batteries, is more durable, and doesn't require active cooling.

In other words, zinc batteries are more effective than lithium-ion batteries. The main obstacles are that lithium-ion batteries have been tested and scaled for decades, while zinc batteries are new technology. That makes large-scale zinc build-outs more expensive and less proven, but positive results are coming in for this technology. In the long run, zinc batteries should be cheaper than lithium-ion batteries.

It explains why every data center hasn't made the pivot to zinc batteries yet, but it also outlines Eos Energy Enterprises' potential. The company continues to enhance its zinc battery technology and scale up its production volume, and those efforts can translate into attractive long-term gains.

Hyperscalers are already interested Eos Energy Enterprises isn't a science project. It has an $807 million backlog, up 25% sequentially in the second quarter, that comes from customers like the U.S. Department of Defense (which the Trump Administration has rebranded as the Department of War) and Alphabet (GOOG +0.61%) (GOOGL +0.46%).

As companies like Palantir (PLTR -1.52%) have demonstrated, the government is one of the best customers you can have. Furthermore, if the Alphabet deal goes well, it could attract the attention of other hyperscalers. Eos Energy Enterprises told shareholders that it secured orders from four new customers and two repeat customers.

Revenue surged by 351% year over year to reach $68.8 million in Q2. The company expanded its manufacturing capacity with its Thorn Hill site to address rising demand for its zinc batteries. That move should be finalized in the first quarter of 2027 and enable Eos Energy Enterprises to serve more customers and produce higher order volumes.

Navigating the messy middle Although Eos Energy Enterprises produces critical technology, there is a messy middle between the company's $1 billion valuation and its large-cap potential. Some of it is fundamental, but most of it concerns dilution.

Eos Energy Enterprises produced an $83.8 million net operating loss in Q2, which was worse than the $63.8 million net loss in the same quarter last year. While the operating margin improved due to soaring revenue, the company is still burning through cash.

Furthermore, guidance implied $300 million to $350 million in full-year revenue, compared to a prior range of $300 million to $400 million. The company cited a timing issue with consolidating its production lines into a single manufacturing blueprint. That makes the tightened guidance look like a short-term concern, but it is worth monitoring.

Government loans have helped Eos Energy Enterprises amass a $364.1 million cash position, which offers some cushioning as the company pivots to profitability.

Dilution is the bigger concern. Eos Energy Enterprises filed a registration statement for the potential resale of up to 56.5 million shares by existing shareholders. It's a dilutive event tied to warrants that will not raise any additional funds for the company. That represents more than 10% of the stock's market cap.

It includes more than 3 million shares at $5.481, with those warrants expiring in 2036. It also includes 34 million warrants issued in 2023 that have an exercise price of $1.60 per share. These warrants expire in 2028, and this dilutive pressure can silently reduce investors' stakes in the company.

Eos Energy Enterprises has strengthening fundamentals that may override dilutive concerns if you look five to 10 years out. However, it is a meaningful risk that can weigh on the stock. This AI stock is worth keeping on your radar, as it has multi-bagger potential, but it may be better to wait for the dilutive dust to settle, especially from the warrants that expire in 2028. Meaningful fundamental progress, especially with margins, can justify entering the stock before then.

First advance under second tranche brings total drawn under the DOE facility to $178 million and supports 4 GWh of annual battery manufacturing capacity in Western Pennsylvania  | Source: Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc.

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: EOSE) (“Eos” or the “Company”), America’s leading innovator in designing, manufacturing, and providing zinc-based long-duration energy storage (LDES) systems sourced and manufactured in the United States, today announced it has received an $87 million first advance under the second tranche of its loan agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF).

The advance reimburses 80% of eligible costs associated with the Company’s Thorn Hill manufacturing facility in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. Eos has now drawn a total of approximately $178 million of its DOE facility since 2024.

Line 2 entered commercial production in June 2026 and is being ramped toward its designed annual manufacturing capacity of approximately 2 GWh. Upon completion of the planned relocation of line 1 to Thorn Hill, subject to lender approvals, Eos expects Thorn Hill to support approximately 4 GWh of annual manufacturing capacity across two lines.

“Loan funding from the Office of Energy Dominance Financing has been critical in scaling Eos,” said Alessandro Lagi, Chief Financial Officer of Eos. “This advance reimburses a significant portion of the investment we have already made in Line 2 and returns that capital to the balance sheet, giving us more room to invest in the business while maintaining a disciplined approach to growth.”

“Running two lines under one roof drives more efficient use of our engineering, support resources, and labor,” said John Mahaz, Chief Operating Officer of Eos. “This enables the operation to increase productivity and optimize manufacturing cost.”

Eos expects to create jobs across 4 shifts to staff Line 2 in the Western Pennsylvania facility. The line continues to ramp toward full production as additional shifts come online, consistent with the Company’s phased manufacturing scale-up strategy.
