The start of Kraken trading expands U.S. access to Casper and marks a major visibility milestone for the network’s broader ecosystem.Sarson Funds today highlighted that Casper Network is now available for trading on Kraken, marking a major access milestone for U.S.-based participants and the broader Casper ecosystem.
The launch of CSPR trading on Kraken gives U.S.-based participants a more familiar way to access Casper and engage with the network. The listing marks an important shift in visibility, accessibility, and market participation.
As a Layer 1 proof-of-stake blockchain, Casper is building infrastructure for regulated real-world assets (RWAs) and machine-native commerce, two sectors gaining rapid prominence across finance and tech in the U.S. The network’s roadmap focuses on making the ecosystem frictionless for retail users while delivering the controls institutions require for compliant, on-chain workflows.
Sarson Funds recently deepened its involvement in the Casper ecosystem by launching a U.S.-based validator node. Alongside its work around staking access and market education, the firm continues to follow Casper’s development across real-world asset tokenization and machine-native commerce, while helping introduce the network’s infrastructure and long-term potential to a broader U.S. audience.
“Kraken trading going live is an important access milestone for Casper,” said Sarson Funds CEO John Sarson. “It gives U.S.-based participants a clearer path to learn about the network, access CSPR, and engage with an ecosystem that has been building steadily around real-world assets, staking, and enterprise infrastructure.”
Sarson Funds will continue covering Casper’s progress and expanding U.S. presence across its website, newsletter, and social channels.

The smart contract platform underwent a leadership change that resulted in developer Casper Labs changing its name and moving on from the project.
Casper Network’s CSPR token briefly spiked hard on Monday morning, nearly doubling from $0.01 to $0.019.
The rally comes in the wake of Casper’s announcement on April 22 that it will launch Casper 2.0 upgrades on May 6. The changes are intended to increase Casper’s efficiency and scalability, and improve the developer experience.
While the token has since retraced most of its gains, it remains up 55% over the past week.
CSPR PriceBeyond the price increase, CSPR’s trade volume soared from $4.1 million on April 27 to $34.3 million on April 28, an increase of nearly 740%.
According to Casper community member Nick, the real cause of the surge was a change in leadership.
“We have watched as the @Casper_Network has completely shifted focus and started pushing major updates,” Nick wrote on X. “I stated before that the names behind Casper that were telling us nothing but promises, yet never delivering, were gone with Prove AI.”
Prove AI is the new name of Casper Labs, and it is the creator of an eponymous blockchain-based AI governance platform focused on helping organizations audit and manage their AI activities. Prove AI agreed to build its Prove AI product exclusively on Hedera in exchange for a grant and marketing support.
At that time, the Casper Association announced a new board whose goal is to lead Casper’s transition to a community-led blockchain.
Casper is a proof-of-stake blockchain for smart contracts. One feature that sets it apart is that Casper smart contracts can be written in several different languages, although many documentation examples and the Casper System contracts are written in Rust.
The Casper Association is proud to announce that Casper 2.0 went live on the mainnet on May 6, 2025, a major milestone that marks the network’s evolution into a platform purpose-built for RWAs (real-world assets). Casper 2.0 bridges crypto-native innovation with enterprise-grade infrastructure, advancing a vision where blockchain doesn’t exist in isolation but powers real economies and everyday applications – not just itself.
With this upgrade, Casper moves beyond siloed ecosystems, offering a developer- and business-friendly environment ready to support the next wave of tokenized assets, on-chain finance and real-world adoption.
Matt Schaffnit, CEO and board director of the Casper Association, said,
“Casper 2.0 is more than a milestone – it’s a launchpad for real-world blockchain adoption.
“With instant, deterministic finality, native upgradability and built-in access control, we’re enabling a new generation of applications that secure identity, ownership and value across industries.
“I’m especially excited by the growing momentum around real-world use cases now possible on Casper 2.0.”
The next wave of industry expansion depends on real-world utility with systems that secure ownership, support compliance and integrate with economies beyond Web 3.0.
Casper 2.0 delivers on that promise with foundational improvements that make it one of the most complete and adaptable blockchains for tokenizing, transacting and governing RWAs and processes on-chain.
Zug consensus A new deterministic consensus protocol, Zug brings instant finality to Casper, ensuring that ownership transitions for assets such as real estate, commodities and tokenized instruments are not only immediate and irreversible but also leave a clear, tamper–proof audit trail.
Natively secured upgradable smart contracts Real-world systems demand precise control, accountability and compliance. Casper 2.0 delivers.
With natively upgradable contracts, built-in multi-signature support and fine-grained permissions, developers can design workflows that are both auditable and compliant by default.
Every party in an asset transaction, from buyer and seller to broker, escrow agent and auditor, is restricted to only the specific functionality they’re authorized to access, mirroring the security and role-based access controls of traditional systems.
Developer accessibility Casper 2.0 meets builders where they are, empowering millions of software developers to build on-chain using familiar languages and modern design patterns, without the steep learning curves and constraints typical of Web 3.0 development.
Beyond its core innovations, Casper 2.0 introduces critical infrastructure enhancements, including support for multiple virtual machines, expanding the network’s capacity to support complex, real-world applications.
Casper 2.0 also unlocks a powerful set of capabilities that redefine and expand what developers can build and what users can expect on-chain.
Smart contracts can now integrate rewards and yield directly into their logic through natively secured liquid staking, leverage zero-knowledge hashing algorithms to enable privacy-preserving identity and compliance solutions and utilize a native token burning mechanism to implement new supply-control strategies.
Michael Steuer, CTO and president of the board of the Casper Association, said,
“Casper 2.0 is the result of a simple and powerful idea – that blockchain should support the same kinds of assets, rules and processes that exist in the real world.
“By design, Casper 2.0 enables real-world asset transactions to settle instantly, businesses to implement access controls that mirror reality and applications to seamlessly upgrade as regulations evolve.
“Casper 2.0 allows developers to focus on building applications – not engineering around limitations.”
Additionally, the Casper 2.0 upgrade underwent a rigorous, independent audit by Halborn Security, ensuring its codebase aligns with top-tier industry standards and reinforcing trust in its secure, enterprise-ready foundation.
More information on Casper 2.0, including documentation, development tools and an overview of the network’s new capabilities, is available at the website.

[PRESS RELEASE – Zug, Switzerland, May 14th, 2025]
The Casper Association and Americorp Investments announce a new initiative to bring transparency, trust, auditability and eventual tokenized ownership to the US parking industry through blockchain solutions built on the Casper Network.
The US parking industry is expected to generate $144 billion by the year 2030, with independent parking lots and garages accounting for $11 billion per year. The parking lot business has many stakeholders who operate in an environment of trust to provide parking services. Parking lot owners and operators, 3rd party revenue channels aggregating and selling spots, and tax authorities all need transparency to confirm cashflows are properly distributed and accounted for. A constellation of technology providers manages these relationships and data streams, often in siloed, opaque and mutually exclusive ways. Cross channel payments lack transparency, while local governments perform expensive, recurring audits to ensure taxes and fees are properly reported.
Americorp’s blockchain solution will leverage the Casper Network to provide trust in data, faster clearing of payments, easier and real-time auditing, receivable factoring, and eventually tokenized ownership of revenue-generating parking assets. The company holds 52 issued patents and 25 patents pending targeting parking technology solutions and the integration of blockchain technology. Americorp is working with Ocra Inc, the leading provider of parking revenue management software, to help map data across APIs and offer the service to its partners across the US parking industry.
“There is a tremendous opportunity to streamline parking transactions across the ecosystem using new blockchain-driven technology. This will lead to faster and more accurate payment clearing for all participants and large savings from simplifying the audit and regulatory processes,” said Jordan Simons, CEO of Americorp Investments LLC and long-time co-owner of WallyPark parking facilities throughout the nation. “Casper Network is the obvious choice of blockchain for this solution. It’s the only protocol that meets the needs of a real-world industry such as parking.”
With the successful rollout of Casper 2.0 on May 6th, the Casper Network is uniquely positioned to address the parking industry’s challenges and opportunities. Through its instant finality, transactions settle instantly and leave a clear audit trail. With its natively upgradable contracts, solutions can be upgraded as regulations change – a frequent occurrence in local parking markets. Casper’s granular access rights and permissioning capabilities provide native enforcement of the real-world roles held by the many, diverse stakeholders in the parking industry.
“Americorp and Casper share a vision for the future of decentralized applications – one where cryptographically secured property rights, compliance and real-world use cases blend seamlessly,” said Matt Schaffnit, CEO and Board Director of the Casper Association. “We are excited that the future of the parking industry, from enabling transparency and compliance through the tokenization of parking lots, will be built on the Casper Network.”
Americorp’s solution will be tested across multiple urban and airport parking facilities in multiple major cities in the United States in the second half of 2025. A broader roll-out across additional major markets is expected in 2026.
About Americorp Investments
Americorp Investments is a private holding company that develops, invests in, and manages assets and businesses, with a focus on intellectual property rights related to new technologies. Americorp and its affiliate Arrow Gaming have a total of 174 issued patents and patents-pending worldwide.

Casper Network Crypto Rebuild: Is It Real? This is one of these quiet old projects. The project successfully raised over 15M through typical funding rounds. These rounds had notable names like HashKey Capital, Arrington Capital, and Distributed Global. Later, they raised another 15M from an initial coin offering (ICO) on the CoinList platform. Investors in this ICO got the tokens at a very cheap price, 0.015, just like the current price after many years.
It was supposed to be “Blockchain for the builders” with upgradable smart contracts & predictable gas fees. It got its initial success when the coin hit an ATH of $1.30, and it’s fair to say it was a huge success for early investors.
Over the years, the network was forgotten a little bit as the market was oversaturated with these kinds of protocols. In this very competitive sector, there is a huge need for something unique to stand out.

The Casper team just attempted to revive the network by issuing a version 2.0. As always, a very developer-friendly protocol, so a lot of features were included for the developers.
The platform offers features such as upgradeable contracts, built-in access control, multi-VM support, WASM support for developers coding in Rust, and instant, irreversible transactions. A Zealy campaign was included, where users can do a wide range of activities and engage with the Casper Network to earn rewards.
Casper Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Michael Steuer later issued a huge announcement of collaboration with the AmeriCorps agency. An independent parking agency that works with over five million Americans in various volunteer works.
CSPR Price Action And Predictions This revival attempt was well received by the community. The Zealy campaign is attracting users. CTO Michael Steuer is doing constant Ask Me Anything spaces on X that feature the OKX exchange. The price action is rather calm and ranging around the 0.15-0.20 zone. It’s expected to be like that for a while, too, as the Casper team has a lot of work to do to earn community trust back. If you’re looking for another potential successful ICO launch, check this presale out.

As we know, Solana has been facing congestion from time to time over the last few months. The first-ever Solana Layer-2 blockchain, Solaxy, directly addresses Solana’s pain points, congestion, failed transactions, and scalability limitations.
It’s a multipurpose L2 that developers can build dApps upon. Also, Solaxy aims to offload the burden on Solana and unlock the chain’s full potential for users, developers, and investors alike.
Solaxy is off to a hot start. The presale raised $39.2 million out of $39.6 million. $SOLX is priced at just $0.00173 in the current presale round, and staking offers up to 102% APY. Holders who lock their $SOLX tokens can earn high passive income, and the coin’s price has the potential to multiply over time.
Presales that quickly raise funds and attract numerous investors often see gains of 5x to 10x after launch and typically earn listings on centralized exchanges. [PRESS RELEASE – Zug, Switzerland, October 8th, 2025]
The Casper Association, the nonprofit entity supporting the continued decentralization and growth of Casper Network, an enterprise-grade, proof-of-stake blockchain optimized for scalable and secure Web3 adoption, today announced that Casper Network has joined the ERC3643 Association. This move reinforces Casper Network’s leadership in building the next generation of compliant real-world asset (RWA) tokenization.
By aligning with ERC-3643, Casper Network strengthens its mission to provide enterprises, developers, and institutions with the infrastructure needed to issue, manage, and evolve tokenized assets in full compliance with global regulatory frameworks.
Created by Tokeny, ERC-3643 is the leading open-source framework for permissioned token issuance, recognized by regulators and trusted by financial institutions worldwide. Designed specifically to meet compliance requirements, ERC-3643 is a cornerstone standard for institutional adoption of blockchain-based securities and other regulated instruments.
Once fully implemented, Casper Network’s contributions to ERC-3643 adoption will include:
Driving Real World Use Case Adoption: Enabling issuers, developers, and regulators to launch ERC-3643-compliant assets directly on Casper Network. Regulatory-Ready Flexibility: Leveraging Casper Network’s upgradeable smart contracts to allow assets to adapt as compliance requirements evolve without disruptive migrations. Cross-Chain Readiness: Positioning ERC-3643 for future interoperability with Ethereum and other networks as Casper Network continues to expand its connectivity roadmap. “Casper Network is committed to enabling real-world commercial applications of blockchain. With ERC-3643, businesses can remain fully compliant with evolving regulations, while everyday users gain the assurance that tokenized assets are managed with the highest levels of security and transparency,” said Matt Schaffnit, CEO of the Casper Association.

Nine protocol initiatives that target EVM compatibility, gasless transactions, compliant security tokens, transaction privacy, AI agent micropayments, and quantum-safe cryptography
The Casper Association today published the Casper Manifest, a multi-year technical roadmap designed to make Casper Network the infrastructure layer for regulated real-world asset tokenization and the emerging machine-to-machine economy.
The Manifest was introduced by Casper Association President & CTO Michael Steuer at the Digital Finance Forum in Bermuda, before an audience of leaders from Web3, traditional finance, and institutional finance.
Building on major protocol releases delivered since mid-2025, including Casper 2.0 with deterministic finality and a multi-VM execution layer, the Manifest sets out nine coordinated initiatives around one goal: making blockchain frictionless for users, trusted by institutions, and native for machines. The roadmap brings EVM compatibility to Casper’s WebAssembly foundation, advances gasless transactions and smart accounts for simpler user experiences, and expands the compliance, privacy, micropayment, native token, and quantum-safe infrastructure needed for real-world assets and autonomous systems to operate with greater predictability and less friction.
Building the Infrastructure for Regulated Assets and Autonomous Systems
The nine core initiatives outlined in the Casper Manifest are organized around the following areas:
Access for every developer. The largest blockchain developer ecosystem builds on Ethereum tooling – Solidity, MetaMask, and thousands of audited smart contract libraries. Casper is adding full Ethereum Virtual Machine compatibility alongside its existing WebAssembly execution engines, so developers can bring their existing contracts, tools, and wallets to Casper without modification. A native token registry provides equal access to tokens from either side. One chain, two execution environments, zero fragmentation.
Blockchain that’s frictionless for the user. Someone else pays your transaction fees. Multiple steps collapse into a single action. You sign in with your fingerprint instead of managing cryptographic keys. The Casper Manifest delivers gasless transactions, batch operations, and smart accounts that enable biometric authentication – so using a blockchain application feels like using any other app.
Compliance and privacy as one system. Casper will be the first Layer 1 where regulatory compliance and transaction privacy are designed to work together. Compliant security tokens with on-chain identity verification, transfer restrictions, and jurisdictional controls – built in alignment with the ERC-3643 standard that already governs $28 billion in tokenized assets on chain. As a member of the ERC-3643 Association, Casper Association is helping to expand the standard. Alongside compliance, a multi-phase privacy roadmap delivers confidential transactions with fixed, predictable costs – and built-in tools for auditors and regulators to verify compliance without exposing transaction details to the public. Privacy and compliance as two sides of the same system, designed for the $16 trillion real-world asset tokenization market.
Native infrastructure for the machine economy. AI agents need to pay for services programmatically – per API call, per data query, per computation – without subscriptions, invoices, or human intermediaries. As a member of the X402 Foundation, Casper is implementing the X402 open payment standard, enabling machines to pay each other over HTTP in stablecoins and other fungible tokens, expecting to become the first WebAssembly-native Layer 1 with production X402 support. The same smart accounts and gasless infrastructure built for human users give AI agents scoped spending permissions and autonomous operation out of the box, providing best-in-class controls and compliance for AI agents.
Tokens as first-class citizens. User-created tokens on most blockchains are smart contracts that cost significantly more to operate than native currencies. Casper’s Native Token Registry elevates every token to protocol-level status with the same fixed, predictable costs as native transfers. One pricing model for all tokens. One infrastructure layer shared across WebAssembly, EVM and any other future execution environment on Casper Network. The backbone for everything from DeFi to compliant security tokens to private, confidential transfers.
Quantum-safe from the start. No major smart contract platform has shipped post-quantum transaction signing. Casper will, with hybrid accounts that carry both classical and quantum-resistant keys during a transition period. For institutions evaluating blockchain platforms for decade-long deployments, the answer to “what happens when quantum computers arrive” will be production code, not a research paper.
“Much of the industry is focused on either maximizing hype, or iterating on concepts that service the same existing, crypto-native use cases. Few are building the infrastructure that will onboard the next billion users, the next trillion dollars in tokenized assets, or the first billion machines,” said Michael Steuer, President and CTO of the Casper Association. “Executing the Casper Manifest means that developers can bring over their entire EVM stack. For users, blockchain should be invisible. One tap. Done. For institutions, Casper’s roadmap provides on-chain compliance, transaction privacy and quantum safety. And machines need payment rails that don’t require a human, while being bound to spending limits set by their owners on their smart accounts. That’s the future-proof infrastructure Casper is putting in place.”
Timeline
The nine initiatives do not ship all at once. The first, X402 micropayments, is expected to ship in the next few weeks. Later in 2026, Casper will ship EVM compatibility, networking hardening, and compliant security tokens. This will be followed by the Native Token Registry, Gasless transactions, batch operations, and smart accounts. Transaction privacy and quantum safety build on the earlier initiatives, through 2027. Formal protocol enhancement proposals for each initiative will be published.

Casper Network is making a big bet on where blockchain goes next. And it’s not memecoins.
At the Digital Finance Forum in Bermuda, Casper Association President and CTO Michael Steuer unveiled the “Casper Manifest,” a multi-year roadmap focused on regulated real-world assets (RWAs), AI-powered payments, and infrastructure built for institutions and machines. The roadmap includes EVM compatibility, compliant private transactions, gasless UX, smart accounts, AI micropayments, and even post-quantum signing. That’s a lot. But the bigger story is what Casper is trying to become.
Casper Wants to Make Blockchain Feel Invisible Most blockchains still feel like crypto products. Wallet popups, gas fees, and complicated onboarding remain major friction points. Casper wants to change that.
The roadmap introduces gasless transactions, batch operations, and smart accounts that support biometric authentication. The idea is simple: blockchain apps should feel like normal apps. One tap and done. Casper is also adding full EVM compatibility. Developers will be able to use Solidity, MetaMask, and existing Ethereum tooling directly on Casper without rewriting applications. That matters because Ethereum still has the largest developer ecosystem in crypto.
Privacy and Compliance Together? Usually, blockchains pick one side. Either privacy or compliance. Casper says it wants both. The network plans to support compliant security tokens using the ERC-3643 standard, which already governs billions in tokenized assets. At the same time, it’s building confidential transaction infrastructure that still allows auditors and regulators to verify compliance when needed.
That could become important as institutions move deeper into tokenized assets and onchain finance.
The roadmap also targets AI and machine-to-machine payments through support for the X402 payment standard. This would allow AI agents to pay for APIs, data, or compute resources automatically using crypto.
Casper Is Thinking Beyond Today’s Crypto Cycle One of the more interesting pieces of the roadmap is post-quantum security.
Casper plans to introduce hybrid accounts that support both traditional cryptography and quantum-resistant keys. No major smart contract platform has fully shipped this yet. The first rollout is expected within weeks with X402 micropayments. EVM compatibility and compliant security tokens are planned later in 2026, while privacy and quantum-safe infrastructure will continue through 2027.
The real question is whether institutions and developers actually adopt it. But Casper is clearly positioning itself for a future where blockchains handle tokenized assets, AI payments, and machine economies not just speculation.

Casper has launched an AI-focused toolkit on its mainnet, introducing what the network describes as a production-ready stack that allows autonomous agents to both make blockchain-based payments and build decentralized applications without human involvement.
Summary
Casper has launched an AI toolkit on mainnet that allows autonomous agents to make on-chain payments and deploy smart contracts. The release introduces Casper’s x402 Facilitator, enabling AI agents to pay for online services through HTTP-based micropayments. A $150,000 Agentic Buildathon has been launched to support developers building AI-powered applications on the Casper Network. According to a press release shared with crypto.news, the Casper AI Toolkit combines several infrastructure components that enable AI agents to transact, interact with decentralized finance applications, and deploy smart contracts directly on the network.
The launch represents the first completed initiative from the Casper Manifest, the network’s technical roadmap unveiled in May 2026.
Michael Steuer, president and chief technology officer of the Casper Association, said current AI systems still depend on payment and access models designed for humans despite operating autonomously.
“Billions of AI agents are operating right now with no native way to pay for services — every transaction still runs through infrastructure built for humans, not machines. The Casper AI Toolkit changes that: agents can pay per request in seconds with cryptographic proof, and they can write and deploy smart contracts without any human in the loop. That is what the machine economy actually looks like.”
Toolkit introduces on-chain payments for AI agents A key part of the launch is Casper’s x402 Facilitator, which the Casper Association said is already running on mainnet. Built on the x402 protocol, the system allows AI agents to pay for online services directly as part of an HTTP request, removing the need for API keys, subscription plans, or billing accounts.
According to the association, when an AI agent requests access to a paid service, it receives an HTTP 402 response containing the cost, signs an authorization, and settles the payment on-chain before receiving the requested data.
Casper also said its participation in the X402 Foundation and the live deployment of the x402 Facilitator make it the first WebAssembly-native Layer 1 network to offer HTTP-based micropayment infrastructure for AI agents in production.
Beyond payments, the toolkit includes support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard that allows AI models to interact with external tools and services. The Casper Association said MCP enables agents to query balances, submit transactions, monitor transfers, and access smart contract data directly on the network.
Another function introduced with the launch is the CSPR.trade MCP Server. According to the announcement, the service allows AI agents to swap tokens, provide liquidity, and manage DeFi positions using natural-language commands, extending their ability to participate in on-chain financial activity without human intervention.
Casper extends enterprise roadmap with AI infrastructure While the latest release focuses on AI, it builds on infrastructure introduced through Casper 2.0 in 2025.
At the time, the Casper Association launched Casper 2.0 as a platform for real-world asset applications. The upgrade introduced the Zug consensus mechanism, which the association said provides instant transaction finality, alongside native smart contract upgradability designed to help applications adapt to changing business and regulatory requirements.
Casper is also introducing the Odra Framework, which allows AI coding agents to write, test, and deploy smart contracts independently.
Looking ahead, the Casper Manifest outlines account abstraction as a future protocol enhancement. According to the roadmap, the feature would give AI agents their own on-chain identities, spending controls, and fixed-cost transaction structures without requiring human-managed wallets.
To encourage development around the new tooling, the Casper Association has also launched the Casper Agentic Buildathon with $150,000 in prize funding. Participating teams will receive sponsored access to the x402 Facilitator, allowing them to test micropayment-based applications without transaction costs.
First initiative of the Casper Manifest ships to mainnet; $150,000 Agentic Buildathon kicks off at Istanbul Blockchain Week The Casper Association today launched the Casper AI Toolkit — the most comprehensive AI offering of any Layer 1 blockchain. It enables AI agents to do two things no other L1 stack fully supports in production today: transact autonomously as economic actors, and write, test, and deploy new applications without human guidance. Both capabilities are live on mainnet now, anchored by a production x402 Facilitator that makes Casper the first WebAssembly-native Layer 1 with live HTTP-based micropayment infrastructure for AI agents.
This is the first shipped initiative from the Casper Manifest, the network’s multi-year technical roadmap published in May 2026. Where the Manifest set out where Casper is headed, the AI Toolkit is the first piece of it already in developers’ hands.
AI Agents as Economic Actors Start with the agent as a participant in the economy. AI agents already buy data, pay for compute, execute trades, and settle transactions thousands of times a day, without human involvement. What they cannot do is sign a subscription, negotiate with a salesperson, or submit a purchase order. They need to pay per request: call an API, pay three-tenths of a cent, get the response, move on.
Casper gives them a way in. With the x402 protocol, payment becomes part of the request itself — an agent calls a paid endpoint, receives an HTTP 402 response and a price, signs an authorization, and has its data back in seconds. No API keys, no billing accounts, no human in the loop. The Casper x402 Facilitator settles all of it on-chain and is live on mainnet today, with the Casper Association a member of the X402 Foundation.
Paying is only half of acting. Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — the standard by which AI models discover and invoke external tools — agents reach directly into the chain: querying balances, submitting transactions, reading contract state, and monitoring transfers through real-time event streams. The CSPR.trade MCP Server takes that further, turning agents into advanced DeFi users on Casper that swap, provide liquidity, and manage portfolios entirely through natural language.
But an economy needs more than participants — it needs the services they transact with. That is the agent’s second role.
AI Agents as Developers and Builders The same toolkit that lets an agent spend on Casper lets it build on Casper. With the Odra Framework, Casper’s developer-friendly smart contract toolkit, an AI coding agent can write, test, and deploy smart contracts entirely on its own — point it at Odra, and it goes from idea to production-ready, deployed contract without human guidance.
Around that, the CSPR.build Agent Skills supply the rest of the integration in a single installable package: wallet connections, transaction signing, event handling, and CSPR.cloud API access — backed by enterprise-grade middleware across CSPR.cloud’s REST, Streaming, and Node API layers, giving agents everything they need to read from and write to Casper at scale.
The result closes a loop: the services one agent builds become the services another agent pays to use. Transacting and building are not two separate products — they are two ends of the same machine economy.
Built to work as a system The AI Toolkit is a single, coherent stack, and its pieces are designed to compound. An agent uses MCP to discover what it can do on Casper, x402 to pay for the services it consumes, the CSPR.trade MCP server to act in DeFi, and Odra together with the CSPR.build Skills to ship the next application that other agents will use.
The Manifest charts the next step from here: account abstraction — a planned protocol enhancement under which user accounts and smart contracts share a single on-chain data model. Once delivered, it will give agents their own on-chain identity, scoped spending permissions, and predictable fixed-cost transactions, with no human wallet in the loop — completing the picture of agents as fully native participants on Casper.
This is the machine economy thesis the Casper Manifest described, and with the AI Toolkit the first of it is buildable today.
$150,000 Agentic Buildathon To put real resources behind developers building with the AI Toolkit, the Casper Association has launched the Casper Agentic Buildathon with $150,000 in prizes. Participating teams receive sponsored x402 Facilitator usage — free on-chain transactions — so they can build and test micropayment-powered applications without upfront costs.
“No other Layer 1 gives AI agents both the ability to transact as economic actors and to autonomously build new applications — in production, on mainnet, today,” said Michael Steuer, President and CTO of the Casper Association. That is what the machine economy actually looks like. And with $150,000 in prizes and sponsored x402 usage for winning teams, we are putting our resources directly behind the developers building it.”
The buildathon kicked off with a hands-on developer workshop at Istanbul Blockchain Week on June 2, where teams built their first x402-powered agents live on Casper Network. Competition tracks span Agentic AI, DeFi and Payments, Cross-Chain, and RWA Tokenization.
