New Annual AI Security Report 2026 documents live intrusions run by AI, a vulnerability window compressed from days to hours, and high-risk enterprise AI interactions doubling year-on-year
, /PRNewswire/ -- Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), a pioneer and global leader in cyber security solutions, today published its Annual AI Security Report 2026 from Check Point Research, documenting a decisive shift over the past twelve months: artificial intelligence has moved from assisting attackers to operating attacks. Where AI once helped criminals prepare, it now runs live intrusions with minimal human direction, compressing the time defenders have to respond and opening new attack surfaces across the enterprise, as enterprise adoption of AI outpaces AI governance controls.
The report is grounded in real incidents, telemetry, and original case studies from the past year, and sets out what has changed for defenders as AI participates directly at every stage of the attack chain. As enterprises accelerate spending on AI infrastructure, the same systems they are investing in are becoming the attack surface, widening the gap between AI adoption and the controls needed to secure it. Read the full Check Point Annual AI Security Report 2026 for the complete findings and defender guidance.
Key findings from the Annual AI Security Report 2026:
AI is now operating attacks, not just enabling them. Researchers documented intrusions in which AI ran exploitation workflows autonomously, generating thousands of executed commands across dozens of sessions with minimal human direction between steps. In one breach of nine Mexican government agencies, a single operator ran two commercial AI tools together, Claude Code to break in and explore networks and GPT-4.1, generating 5,317 AI-executed commands across 34 attack sessions, to analyze stolen data and task follow-on activity, according to industry reports. Regulators are responding to an AI-compressed vulnerability window. AI can now turn a fresh vulnerability disclosure into a working exploit within hours, prompting government authorities to shorten mandated remediation timelines to as little as 12 hours for the most critical internet-facing systems. Detections of long, malicious prompt-injection payloads rose roughly fivefold between March and May 2026. The sharp increase in large malicious payloads is consistent with indirect prompt injection becoming a routine attack path and operational enterprise risk rather than a theoretical one, as AI itself becomes an attack surface. Identity can no longer be trusted as standalone security control. Voice, face, documents, and real-time video can now be convincingly synthesized, with highly trained reviewers only correctly detecting approximately 41% of AI-generated faces. This will force organisations to move beyond visual verification towards stronger identity assurance, MFA and out-of-band verification methods. High-risk enterprise AI prompts doubled over the year, from roughly one in every 50 interactions to one in every 25. The average organization now runs ten AI applications a month, many without formal approval, while between 87% and 93% experience at least one high-risk AI interaction, monthly. Most enterprise data exposure comes from ordinary, approved use, not from attacks, as employees share more context than they realize to get a useful answer. Lotem Finkelstein, Vice President, Check Point Research, said:
"A year ago we described AI as a force multiplier for attackers. What we documented this year is more significant: AI has crossed into the live attack chain and is now running operations as a sole operation, that once required a skilled team. The expertise barrier that separated capable attackers from the rest is disappearing, and defenders can no longer assume a human is setting the pace on the other side. The organizations that stay ahead will be the ones that govern how AI is used, secure the AI systems they now depend on, and defend at machine speed rather than human speed."
What defenders can do
The report frames the response around three imperatives, mirroring Check Point's approach to securing the age of AI:
Security for AI: protect the AI systems you now depend on. AI agents and applications are targets as much as tools. Check Point governs how agents interact with prompts, tools, and data in real time, red teams AI applications before attackers can, and makes the full AI attack surface visible before an outsider maps it first. Security by AI: match the speed of AI-powered attacks. Intrusions now span dozens of targets at once, with AI handling the work between check-ins. Check Point ThreatCloud AI runs threat prevention at machine speed across networks, email, endpoints, mobile, and cloud, detecting and blocking without waiting for a human in the loop. Security with AI: govern how AI is used across the workforce. Much of the exposure in the report never came from an attack. Check Point Workforce AI Security discovers sanctioned and unsanctioned AI use and applies real-time data loss prevention to generative AI prompts, while Exposure Management closes the external gap where credentials and data are already leaking. In a recent interview, legendary investor Bill Ackman was asked about why he was bullish on the economy of Israel. The question comes with Ackman owning around a 5% stake in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
• Teva Pharmaceutical stock is trading at elevated levels. Where are TEVA shares going?
Ackman on Israel’s Opportunity"I’m very bullish on Israel from an economic perspective," Ackman said. "Imagine if Silicon Valley was a country."
Ackman highlighted the density of talent and IP in the small country and entrepreneurs who have been through a pretty brutal war, who have now developed "grit."
The region is seeing top venture capital firms opening offices and companies turning down small offers from large tech companies to grow on their own.
"You’re gonna see a trillion dollar company come out of Israel in the not-too-distant future."
Ackman said the company will likely be in the cybersecurity or AI sectors.
"It’s one of the best economies in the world."
Top Israeli CompaniesInvestors looking for exposure to Israel can invest in the iShares MSCI Israel ETF (NYSE:EIS), which has stakes in companies that are public in the U.S. and some in Israel, with all having headquarters in Israel.
Here are the current top 10 holdings of the ETF:
Of the top 10 holdings in the ETF, six can be bought on major U.S. exchanges.
In 2024, Ackman and his wife, Neri Oxman, invested in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, with a 5% stake worth around $25 million. The investor could benefit if more people invest in companies headquartered in Israel, meaning his comments should be taken with some caution.

The iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF (BATS:IGV) is down 10.5% year to date while the S&P 500 is up 10.8% and the Technology Select Sector SPDR is up 26%. That gap reflects the market pricing software as if the AI thesis has turned against it.
Own IGV and you are betting the “SaaSpocalypse” narrative, that autonomous AI agents will hollow out seat-based software, is overblown relative to what fundamentals show.
What IGV holds and how it works IGV concentrates on North American software, cloud infrastructure, and adjacent digital media names. The expense ratio is 0.39%, which is fine but not cheap. The fund earns returns through price appreciation of large-cap software equities. There is essentially no yield. You are paying for exposure to a specific business model, recurring subscription revenue with high gross margins, that the market suddenly doubts.
The doubt has real evidence. Enterprise buyers ask whether they need 50,000 Salesforce seats if an agent can do the work. Snowflake customers wonder whether AI models will bypass the data warehouse entirely.
Fundamentals versus the panic ServiceNow (NYSE:NOW | NOW Price Prediction), a top holding, reported Q4 revenue of $3.57 billion, up 21%, with Now Assist net new ACV more than doubling year over year. CEO Bill McDermott called ServiceNow “the AI control tower for business reinvention”. Yet the stock is down 27% YTD and 48% over one year.
Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) is sharper. Agentforce ARR crossed $1.2 billion, up 205% year over year, with combined Agentforce and Data 360 ARR at $3.4 billion. Q1 EPS was $3.88 against a $3.13 estimate. The stock is down 35% YTD. Snowflake (NYSE:SNOW) is the counterpoint, up 21% YTD as it reported 13,600+ accounts using its AI features and raised FY27 product revenue guidance to $5.84 billion.
The Guggenheim upgrade thesis, that the sector was punished past what numbers justify, has real support in earnings. Retail agrees. Reddit sentiment flipped in early June to “The SaaSpocalypse is over” posts on wallstreetbets, with one r/stocks thread on the software rout drawing 391 upvotes and 309 comments. IGV rallied 10% last week alone.
Real risks to consider First, concentration. IGV is heavily weighted to mega-caps, so the fund trades on how the market feels about NOW, CRM, Microsoft, and Oracle on any given day. Second, execution divergence. Check Point Software (NASDAQ:CHKP) missed its top-line estimate in Q1, a reminder that not every holding participates in AI upside. Third, opportunity cost. Over five years IGV has returned 19% against XLK’s 155%. If you wanted tech, XLK crushed the software-only slice.
Who should buy and who should pass IGV works as a sector sleeve for an investor who already owns broad market exposure, believes the AI panic on software is a repricing overshoot, and can size it at roughly 3% to 7% of a portfolio without losing sleep when it moves 10% in a week. It is a tactical opportunity dressed as an ETF. If you cannot articulate why Agentforce hitting $1.2 billion ARR matters more than the stock chart, the fund is probably not a fit for your process. XLK gives you cheaper, broader tech exposure with less single-thesis risk.
The key risk. If AI agents genuinely compress seat counts across enterprise software over the next two years, IGV’s largest holdings face structural revenue headwinds that no valuation reset fixes. The bet is that the transition monetizes rather than cannibalizes. So far earnings say monetization. The tape says cannibalization. IGV is where you take a side.

Under Pressure: The 2026 Exposure Gap Report reveals that as AI-driven attacks compress the window to respond, the defining security capability is no longer detection, it is knowing which exposures can actually be exploited
, /PRNewswire/ -- Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), a pioneer and global leader in cyber security solutions, today released Under Pressure: The 2026 Exposure Gap Report, which finds that the proportion of critical vulnerability exposures more than doubled over the past year, even as fewer than one in twelve proved urgent enough to require immediate action.
Automation and AI-assisted attack tools are reshaping both the scale and pace of exposure. Threat actors can now test exposed systems, credentials, phishing infrastructure, and known weaknesses across more organizations and at greater speed than manual triage can match. The result is a widening exposure gap, the distance between visibility, prioritization, and safe remediation, and a shorter window for defenders to act before exposure becomes impact.
Key findings from the 2026 Exposure Gap Report:
Vulnerabilities surged: 42.6% of all critical exposures were vulnerabilities, more than double the 18.7% recorded a year earlier, making them the single largest category of critical exposure in 2026. The prioritization gap: Only 7.8% of vulnerability alerts warranted Critical or High attention after exploitability validation, meaning more than 90% did not require the same immediate remediation focus. Risk concentration: 76% of all critical exposures came from just two categories, vulnerabilities and internal information disclosure, concentrating risk around exploitable weaknesses and exposed information assets. Phishing on the rise: Phishing websites grew to 10.5% of critical exposures, up sharply from 1.0% a year earlier, one of the fastest-growing exposure types of the year. Action at scale: Organizations acted on 85.9% of recommended fixes across the industries analyzed, showing that exposures are being closed at scale when prioritization and response workflows are in place. "Attackers are now testing more exposures, across more organizations, at greater speed than security professionals can manually keep pace with. The organizations that stay ahead are the ones that can quickly separate the small set of genuinely exploitable risks from the noise, then remediate them safely without disrupting operations. That is what exposure management delivers, and it is fast becoming a core measure of operational readiness," said Yochai Corem, VP and General Manager of Exposure Management at Check Point Software Technologies.
The report also shows that fast, safe remediation is achievable. A meaningful share of organizations resolved critical exposures within one hour, led by Utilities at 30%, and the fastest sector posted a median remediation time of just 12.6 hours, evidence that even sensitive, high-stakes environments can close exposures quickly.
Exposure profiles varied sharply by sector. Vulnerabilities dominated in Utilities and Government, accounting for 78.2% and 56.4% of critical exposures respectively, while internal information disclosure led in healthcare at 63.6% and Financial Services at 42.7%. Healthcare proved the most challenging environment, recording the slowest median remediation time at 158.8 hours despite a strong fix-implementation rate, reflecting the constraints of legacy systems, clinical uptime requirements, and change control. These differences underline why exposure management priorities must be tailored by industry.
Check Point Exposure Management connects discovery, evidence-based prioritization, exploitability validation, control assessment, and safe remediation in a single workflow, helping organizations close the exposure gap before attacker opportunity becomes business impact.

Notes to Editors: Q&A
What is the 2026 Exposure Gap Report?
Under Pressure: The 2026 Exposure Gap Report is Check Point Software Technologies' research study into how organizations discover, prioritize, and remediate security exposures. It was released on July 2, 2026, and unveiled at Check Point Engage in Paris.
What is the "exposure gap"?
The exposure gap is the distance between visibility, prioritization, and safe remediation — the gap between when a security exposure becomes known and when it is actually fixed. As AI-assisted attacks accelerate, that window is shrinking.
What did the report find about critical vulnerabilities?
Vulnerabilities made up 42.6% of all critical exposures in 2026, more than double the 18.7% recorded the year before, making them the single largest category of critical exposure.
How many vulnerability alerts actually require urgent action?
Only 7.8% of vulnerability alerts — fewer than 1 in 12 — warranted Critical or High attention after exploitability validation. More than 90% did not require immediate remediation focus.
What are the biggest sources of critical exposure?
76% of all critical exposures came from just two categories: vulnerabilities and internal information disclosure.
Is phishing a growing exposure category?
Yes. Phishing websites grew to 10.5% of critical exposures in 2026, up sharply from 1.0% the year before — one of the fastest-growing exposure types measured.
Are organizations able to keep up with remediation?
Yes. Organizations acted on 85.9% of recommended fixes across the industries analyzed, showing exposures can be closed at scale with the right prioritization and workflows in place.
How fast can organizations remediate critical exposures?
The fastest sector posted a median remediation time of 12.6 hours. Utilities led in same-hour resolution, with 30% of critical exposures resolved within one hour.
Which industry is slowest to remediate, and why?
Healthcare recorded the slowest median remediation time, at 158.8 hours, despite a strong fix-implementation rate — reflecting legacy systems, clinical uptime requirements, and change control constraints.
What does Check Point recommend organizations do?
Move from detection-first to exposure-first security: validate which exposures are genuinely exploitable, prioritize based on evidence rather than alert volume, and remediate safely without disrupting operations.
What is Check Point Exposure Management?
A capability within Check Point's Exposure Management pillar that connects discovery, evidence-based prioritization, exploitability validation, control assessment, and safe remediation in a single workflow.

Forward-looking statements in this press release include, but are not limited to, statements related to the expected availability and rollout of Check Point solutions on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, customers' ability to deploy and operate workloads on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud as it becomes available, and our expectations regarding the benefits of these offerings. Our expectations and beliefs regarding these matters may not materialize, and actual results or events in the future are subject to risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results or events to differ materially from those projected. The forward-looking statements contained in this press release are also subject to other risks and uncertainties, including those more fully described in our filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, including our Annual Report on Form 20-F filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 17, 2025. On June 11, 2026, Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (CHKP +5.87%) Director Shavit Shenhav Tal exercised options to acquire and immediately sold 25,000 Ordinary Shares, generating proceeds of approximately $3.08 million according to the SEC Form 4 filing.
Transaction summaryMetricValueShares traded (direct)25,000Transaction value~$3.08 millionPost-transaction shares (direct)4,008Post-transaction value (direct ownership)~$493KTransaction value based on SEC Form 4 weighted average purchase price ($123.07); post-transaction value based on the June 11, 2026 market value of 4,008 shares ($493,464.96).
Key questionsWhat was the structure and economic rationale for this transaction?
The transaction was an exercise-and-sell event, with 25,000 Ordinary Shares acquired via option exercise and immediately sold; this allowed Tal to monetize vested awards without increasing net equity exposure to the company. How did this sale impact Tal's direct ownership stake?
Direct Ordinary Share holdings declined by 86.18%, from 29,008 shares pre-transaction to 4,008 shares post-transaction, materially reducing Tal's remaining direct capacity for open-market sales. Was this activity conducted through a 10b5-1 plan or routine administration?
The event was administrative in nature, aligned with the vesting and exercise of options, and did not involve discretionary or open-market accumulation or disposition beyond the option exercise and immediate sale. What capacity remains for future transactions and are there additional equity awards?
Post-sale, Tal holds 4,008 Ordinary Shares directly.Company overviewMetricValueRevenue (TTM)$2.76 billionNet income (TTM)$1.06 billionPrice (as of market close 2026-06-11)$123.071-year price change-40%Company snapshotCheck Point Software provides a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity solutions, including network security gateways, endpoint protection, cloud security, IoT security, and unified management platforms. The firm generates revenue primarily through the sale of software licenses, security appliances, subscription-based services, and ongoing technical support and professional services. It targets a global customer base ranging from small and medium-sized businesses to large enterprises, data centers, telecom operators, and managed security service providers.Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. operates at scale as a leading cybersecurity provider, with a focus on multi-layered threat prevention and unified security management. The company leverages its Infinity Architecture to deliver integrated protection across networks, endpoints, cloud, and mobile environments. Its strong global presence and continuous innovation in threat prevention technologies underpin its competitive positioning in the infrastructure software segment.
What this transaction means for investorsTal’s transaction comes amid broader pressure for Check Point, and it’s a sizable amount of his available ordinary shares, but it’s hard to read too much into what could simply be a routine monetization of vested equity rather than a clear signal about Check Point Software's outlook. Because the shares were acquired through an option exercise and immediately sold, the filing appears more administrative than discretionary, even though the transaction significantly reduced his direct share ownership.
The company's fundamentals, however, remain a more important story for long-term investors. In the first quarter, Check Point reported 5% revenue growth to $668 million, with security subscription revenue climbing 11% to $323 million. Non-GAAP earnings per share increased 13% to $2.50, while adjusted free cash flow rose 11% to $457 million. CEO Nadav Zafrir said the cybersecurity landscape is undergoing a "fundamental shift" as AI fuels increasingly sophisticated threats, adding that the company's strategy is designed to capitalize on growing demand for enterprise AI security.
Management has also continued returning capital to shareholders. In May, the board authorized a $2 billion expansion of its share repurchase program after the company had already repurchased roughly 230 million shares for $17.4 billion since the program began.
Shares are down roughly 40% over the past year, a testament to the punishing stretch for many software names as of late, but investors should pay closer attention to whether Check Point can accelerate growth in higher-margin subscription and AI-driven security offerings than to a single options-related insider transaction.

, /PRNewswire/ -- Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), a pioneer and global leader of cyber security solutions, announced today its upcoming integration with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. The integration extends Check Point's trusted security controls into agentic workflows.
Through the integration, Check Point will provide AI behavioral monitoring for destructive or misaligned actions, AI-native guardrails for prompt attacks and content moderation, and partner-specific detection signals such as prompt injection detection, sensitive data and DLP indicators, content inspection, and behavioral threat detection. These signals feed into AgentCore policy, where AgentCore acts at the gateway, outside the agent's reasoning loop. This enables enterprise security teams to pair Check Point's detection capabilities with deterministic, automated enforcement. While detection may be probabilistic, enforcement remains deterministic, giving customers consistent allow-or-deny decisions for every agent action.
"AI agents are no longer just answering questions — they are taking action, which changes how enterprises must approach security," said Adam Ely, GM of AI Security at Check Point. "With Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, we are bringing Check Point's behavioral security into the enterprise agent lifecycle, helping organizations move beyond defining what agents are permitted to do and toward ensuring they do the right thing. Permissions define the boundary. We secure what happens inside it."
The upcoming Amazon Bedrock AgentCore integration is Check Point's latest advancement in securing AI workloads for AWS customers. Customers can learn more about Check Point with AgentCore here.

Company snapshotOffers a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity products, including network, endpoint, data, and cloud security solutions, as well as security gateways and threat prevention technologies.Serves a global customer base ranging from small and medium-sized businesses to large enterprises, data centers, and telecommunications providers.Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. is a leading provider of IT security solutions, focusing on integrated cyber defense across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments. The company leverages its Infinity Architecture to deliver advanced threat prevention and zero-day protection, positioning itself as a key player in the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
With a scalable product portfolio and a diverse global customer base, Check Point emphasizes innovation and comprehensive coverage to address the complex security needs of organizations worldwide.
What this transaction means for investorsYoav Chelouche, Director at Check Point Software Technologies (CHKP), recently sold about 25,000 shares of Check Point stock for approximately $3.5 million. Here are some key takeaways for investors.
First, let’s review Check Point’s recent stock performance. Shares of the cybersecurity company have been up and down over the last three years. Overall, Check Point stock is virtually unchanged, recording a total return of -2% during this period and a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of -0.6%. That’s well below what the S&P 500 has achieved over the same period, with a total return of 78% and a CAGR of 21.3%.
However, most of this underperformance has come in the last 12 months, with Check Point stock down about 44%. As a result, the stock’s valuation is now reaching multi-year lows. Its current price-to-sales (P/S) ratio is 4.9x. That’s very close to its five-year low of 4.4x, last reached only a month ago. Similarly, its current P/S ratio is well below its five-year average of 7.6x, suggesting the stock may be undervalued.
Part of the reason why the company’s stock has come under pressure is the discovery and exploitation of a vulnerability within Check Point’s software.
In summary, the company’s stock has suffered due to negative headlines. This may present an opportunity for long-term investors who see value in Check Point shares at its current level.

The expanded partnership places Check Point among a select group of security vendors cleared to bring OpenAI's defensive AI into the tools enterprises use every day
, /PRNewswire/ -- Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), a pioneer and global leader of cyber security solutions, today announced the use of OpenAI's frontier cyber capabilities into its customer-facing defenses. Through the OpenAI Daybreak Cyber Partner Program, open to only a select group of security vendors, Check Point can embed OpenAI models directly into the products, workflows, and managed services its customers rely on.
It marks a meaningful shift, from using these models internally to embedding them directly inside the defenses that protect customers, carrying the safety controls, abuse-prevention standards, and scoped outputs that enterprise security demands. The aim is to sharpen threat prevention, faster remediation, and stronger security operations, delivered through the products and services customers already rely on.
The threat landscape is being shaped by AI. Threat actors are using it to move faster, craft more convincing attacks, and find weaknesses at scale. Defenders need equivalent or stronger capabilities, delivered safely and within clear boundaries. The quality of the models powering defensive workflows has become a strategic variable, not a technical detail.
"Our partnership with OpenAI represents a shared commitment to putting highly advanced AI to work inside the Check Point defenses customers rely on. As one of a select group of security vendors chosen for the OpenAI Daybreak Cyber Partner Program, Check Point is uniquely positioned to bring frontier AI capabilities directly into the security solutions customers depend on every day. This is what it means to lead in AI-powered security: not just adopting new technology, but shaping how it gets built and deployed responsibly across the industry," said Roi Karo, Chief Strategy Officer at Check Point Software.
Through this expanded partnership, Check Point is identifying the defensive security workflows and solutions where OpenAI's trusted access for cyber models, paired with the right safeguards, can deliver measurable customer value.
Check Point and OpenAI are working together to help define the standards for using trusted access frontier AI responsibly in security, building protections against misuse and the controls to catch and stop it. The rollout is deliberately gradual: it begins with carefully controlled defensive uses and widens only as those protections prove themselves. This disciplined approach reflects how Check Point brings AI into its platform across the board, with the rigor and responsibility enterprise security demands.

As frontier AI models compress the entire attack lifecycle, Check Point and Illumio combine perimeter defense with breach containment so organizations can stop attacks at the edge, and contain them if they get through
, /PRNewswire/ -- Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), a pioneer and global leader of cyber security solutions, and Illumio Inc., the breach containment company, today announced an expanded strategic partnership to help organizations defend against a new category of threat: frontier AI models capable of autonomously executing full-scale attacks at machine speed.
"Security teams are being asked to defend environments that are moving faster and that are more complex — against attackers who are using AI to do in minutes what used to take weeks," said Paul Barbosa, VP of Cloud & SASE at Check Point. "Expanding our partnership both in terms of joint product development and go-to-market with Illumio gives our customers something attackers don't want them to have: a coordinated defense that works on both sides of the perimeter. Check Point prevents threats from getting in. Illumio ensures they can't run free if they do. Together, we are working to close the gap that every attacker is looking to exploit."
Frontier AI models are changing the nature of cyber attacks. Adversaries can now compress the entire attack lifecycle — discovery, exploitation, and lateral movement — into a single, automated sequence with little or no human involvement. The window between initial access and catastrophic breach is collapsing. For security teams already stretched thin, the critical question is no longer, "can we stop the attack at the door?" It's "if something gets in, can we find it and stop it from spreading before the damage is done?"
This expanded partnership is built to answer both questions. Check Point delivers the industry's best security for the perimeter, data center, and networks — with the best real-time threat prevention against unknown attacks and the most comprehensive Zero Trust security available. Illumio addresses what happens inside the network: visibility into how workloads communicate, exposure of attack paths, and microsegmentation controls that protect critical assets and contain breaches before they cascade into disasters. Together, the two companies deliver protection and resilience as a unified capability. Customers can now procure Illumio directly through Check Point, simplifying vendor consolidation and accelerating deployment.
Building on the 2025 integration with Illumio Insights, which helped security teams connect Check Point threat intelligence with workload visibility to detect lateral movement risk, the expanded partnership now adds deep integration with Illumio Segmentation. Security teams can align Check Point firewall policy with Illumio's workload model across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, reducing unnecessary connectivity and making it significantly harder for attackers to move undetected through the network once inside.
"AI is compressing the time between intrusion and impact, fundamentally changing the math for defenders," said Andrew Rubin, CEO and founder of Illumio. "Cyber security now has two jobs: prevent what you can, and for everything else, find it fast and stop it from spreading. That's exactly why Illumio and Check Point are working together—to help organizations change that math and contain attacks before they become disasters."
The result is a more complete security architecture for the AI era. Check Point's prevention-first enforcement stops threats at key network boundaries. Illumio Insights surfaces suspicious movement and attack paths across hybrid environments. And Illumio Segmentation, now more tightly aligned with Check Point firewall policy, limits how far any threat can travel once inside. For security teams managing more systems, more connectivity, and more change than ever before, this combination means faster detection, smarter decisions, and incidents contained before they become disasters.
"IDC forecasts microsegmentation to grow at 23.5% CAGR as organizations shift from evaluation to scaled deployment, with 96% of buyers experiencing a noticeable improvement in security posture, cyber resiliency, and ransomware preparedness. However, customers today are often overburdened with disparate tools and products, and IDC research shows that 98.3% of microsegmentation buyers prefer their solution to have tight integration with SASE, firewall, or other zero trust technologies," said Pete Finalle, Research Manager at IDC. "This partnership directly addresses these concerns, as microsegmentation and the broader network security stack are integrated as a coherent platform that simplifies limiting lateral movement and enforcing zero trust at scale."
The expanded integration is available now for joint Check Point and Illumio customers. Additional details, including technical integration guidance, are available in the Check Point and Illumio white paper.

As enterprise networks approach the limits of human-driven management, Check Point moves the industry from rules to intent, from fixed controls to dynamic prevention, and from fragmented consoles to unified orchestration
, /PRNewswire/ -- Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), a pioneer and global leader in cyber security solutions, today launched its Agentic Network Security Orchestration Platform, a purpose-built autonomous agent architecture that executes network security operations across enterprise environments, without requiring constant human intervention. The launch continues the company's mission to fundamentally transform the way enterprise network security is managed, an approach that has remained largely unchanged since the early days of the firewall era.
Enterprise networks have grown beyond human capacity to manage. Hybrid cloud adoption, M&A-driven fragmentation, the explosion of connected devices, and the rapid proliferation of AI agents across infrastructure have created environments that no human team was designed to secure at this scale. A single change request can take two to four weeks to work through analysis, security review, and policy dependencies - only to break something else and restart the cycle. Segmentation projects sit on the board for years and never ship. Policies drift because workloads move faster than any team can follow. The result is predictable: Zero Trust projects stall, policy tightening never completes, and organisations are left exposed. Check Point's platform addresses this by beginning a transformation across three dimensions that have defined and constrained network security management for decades: moving from thousands of static rules to intent-based policy, from fixed threat prevention profiles to dynamic exposure-based controls, and from fragmented vendor consoles to a single orchestration layer across the entire network. Security teams set the business intent. The agents handle everything below it.
"For the first time, security teams can operate entirely at the level of business intent," said Jonathan Zanger, Chief Technology Officer at Check Point Software Technologies. "With Agentic Network Security Orchestration, teams define what needs to be protected and what the policy should achieve. Everything below that, the rule creation, the policy tightening, the virtual patching, is handed to AI agents to execute autonomously, within predefined guardrails and under continuous human oversight. We are turning projects that used to take months into days of auditable action."
"Enterprise network security has reached an inflection point. Layering agentic AI on top of modern hybrid environments creates complexity that outpaces the capabilities of what human teams can manage manually. The consequence is that critical security initiatives like Zero Trust and micro-segmentation languish in administrative density and stall before they deliver value. Agentic approaches like Check Point's ground autonomous execution in a live understanding of the actual network environment, representing a meaningful architectural shift in how organizations' can structurally close that gap." Frank Dickson, Group Vice President, Security and Trust, IDC.
At the center of the platform is a proprietary Network Knowledge Graph, a live, relational model of the customer's actual environment, continuously updated with topology, traffic flows, asset dependencies, and real-time configuration data. This is what separates Check Point's agents from generic AI applied to security problems. Rather than reasoning over static training data, agents reason over the customer's actual network as it exists right now, grounding every decision in the customer's specific reality.
The platform's semantic intelligence layer goes further, interpreting not just the syntax of existing firewall policies but the business intent behind them, including rules created years or decades ago. Once that intent is understood, agents act on it autonomously across four core capabilities:
Intent-to-Policy translates natural language business requirements into hardened, risk-validated firewall rules across multi-vendor environments. Zero Trust and Policy Tightening continuously analyses active traffic to identify shadow access and over-permissive configurations, autonomously applying validated tightening recommendations without risking connectivity breaks. Autonomous Troubleshooting conducts multi-step reasoning across topology, policy history, and logs to diagnose failures autonomously, reducing mean time to resolution from hours to minutes. Continuous Compliance maps every rule and configuration change to DORA, PCI-DSS, and NIST in real time, replacing annual audit fire drills with continuous automated enforcement. Security teams retain authority at the intent level, approving high-impact changes before execution, with full visibility into every agent's action through a complete execution trace. Underlying the platform are agent skills fine-tuned on more than 30 years of operational expertise protecting over 100,000 organisations, spanning the edge cases and configuration complexity that generic models have never encountered.
Accelerating the Roadmap: The Acquisition of Deepchecks's Team and Intellectual Property
As part of the commitment to deliver on the Agentic Network Security Orchestration roadmap, Check Point has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the team and intellectual property of Deepchecks, a production-grade platform that unifies evaluation, observability, testing, and monitoring, giving teams the visibility and control needed to trust agents in production. The team is comprised of LLM experts, graduates of the prestigious Talpiot technological excellence program. Deepchecks' talent and intellectual property will significantly accelerate the execution of the Agentic Network Security Orchestration roadmap.
"Any multi-agent system must include a robust evaluation layer that enables continuous measurement, tuning, and improvement over time," explained Ofir Korzenyak, VP AI Technologies. "Deepchecks' team brings cutting-edge capabilities precisely in this area, strengthening our ability to deliver agents that continuously improve and can be fine-tuned to customers' specific needs."

Time to Buy These Up-and-Coming Software Firms?Check Point Software Technologies NASDAQ: CHKP executives said the company has moved past the most disruptive phase of a broad go-to-market reorganization and expects its firewall product business to return to growth later this year, according to remarks at a JPMorgan software event.
The discussion featured Sherif Seddik, Check Point’s newly appointed chief revenue officer; Roei Golan, chief financial officer; and Kip Meintzer, head of investor relations. Seddik, who was named to the CRO role two weeks before the event, said his background includes senior roles at Microsoft, Citrix and Check Point, with experience spanning sales leadership, product management, consulting and go-to-market strategy.

Is CoStar Group Stock a Buy Before Earnings? Analysts Think SoSeddik said Check Point’s strategy is built around four pillars and a shift toward “multi-pillar selling,” which required a significant review of the company’s go-to-market model. He said the effort began in the middle of last year and was designed to support sustainable double-digit growth by focusing resources on large enterprise customers, new logo acquisition and subscription and SaaS businesses.
Go-to-Market Changes Affected About One-Third of Staff Seddik said the changes were “pretty deep,” with roughly one-third of employees moving into new roles. Even employees who remained in existing positions often received new account or partner assignments as the company narrowed its focus to fewer, larger customers and partners.
Sentinel One Stock Is the Growth Story Goldman Sachs Is Buying“We are absolutely convinced that it is the right model to take us forward,” Seddik said. He added that Check Point believes it has exited the disruption phase and moved into execution, with improving funnel generation across the company’s product portfolio, including firewall.
The reorganization included increased investment in customer success, renewal teams, specialist sales and partner programs. Seddik said the company also shifted toward a hunter-farmer model for its largest strategic customers and prospects, hiring more “hunter” profiles focused on new customer acquisition.
Firewall Business Saw Near-Term Disruption Golan said the disruption most affected the company’s firewall appliance business, particularly new business handled by generalist account teams. Renewals were less affected, he said, because they were managed separately and involve a different selling motion.
Golan said the company saw delays in pipeline generation early in the year, especially in January and February, which affected the second-quarter outlook and may also affect third-quarter results. He said net new firewall business typically has a sales cycle of five to nine months, and sometimes longer.
“The main impact is Q2,” Golan said, adding that Check Point updated its guidance because of the pipeline disruption. He said the issue was not limited to new logos, but also included expansion projects with existing customers, such as data center expansions.
Seddik said the reorganization was launched to the field on Jan. 6. He said funnel generation improved in February, was strong in March and was even stronger in April on a year-over-year basis. He also said new-logo pipeline is growing faster than the overall pipeline, which was one of the company’s strategic objectives.
Golan said Check Point expects product revenue to decline in the second quarter and probably also in the third quarter due to the disruption, but said the company expects the firewall product business to return to growth from the fourth quarter onward.
Competitive Displacement and AI Data Centers Identified as Growth Areas Seddik said Check Point is launching a competitive displacement program that includes three main elements: focusing on use cases where the company believes it has differentiation, offering partner incentives and pre-approved pricing levels, and providing customer transition support.
He said the company has built tooling to automate the movement of policies and rules from other vendors’ platforms to Check Point’s platform. It is also offering both CapEx and OpEx models, depending on customer preference.
Seddik said Check Point has “ring-fenced” aggressive displacement pricing with policies requiring proof of displacement, in order to prevent that pricing from affecting normal deals.
AI data centers were another major focus of the discussion. Seddik said data centers represent the majority of Check Point’s firewall business, though not the majority of the company’s total business. He said the company is starting from a position of strength in data center security and expects AI data centers to provide additional opportunities.
Seddik cited Check Point’s partnership with NVIDIA, saying the company can run its firewall on NVIDIA’s data processing unit, or DPU. He said that approach can help address latency concerns while leaving the GPU available for AI workloads. He also pointed to Check Point’s Lakera acquisition for AI guardrails, its Maestro architecture for scalability and its web application firewall capabilities as part of a broader AI data center security offering.
According to Seddik, Check Point has already won AI data center deals in Asia and the Middle East and is discussing large opportunities in the Americas and Western Europe. He said some deals can lead to follow-on opportunities when customers include Check Point’s security capabilities in services they offer to their own customers.
Executives Say Macro Was Not the Cause of Guidance Change Golan said the company does not view the recent guidance update as a result of macroeconomic conditions. He acknowledged that rising memory costs could potentially influence customer behavior, but said Check Point is not currently seeing broad evidence that customers are delaying refreshes because of those costs.
Seddik said customers are placing increased emphasis on cybersecurity and reprioritizing within security budgets, although he said he has not seen customers broadly increasing cybersecurity budgets by large amounts. He said there are no signs that budgets are being reduced.
Seddik also said exposure management is becoming a more important topic in customer discussions. He highlighted Check Point’s acquisitions of Cyberint and Veriti, saying Cyberint added external visibility while Veriti provides capabilities to implement changes across multiple vendors. He said the company is developing capabilities that, with customer permission, could allow automated patching based on defined rules.
On platform strategy, Seddik said Check Point is building platforms within each of its pillars while maintaining an “open garden” approach. He said the company recognizes that customers use multiple vendors and has built native integrations with other security products, including partnerships or integrations involving Wiz, Illumio, CrowdStrike and Microsoft Defender. He said Check Point has more than 80 native integrations with competing and other products.

77% of organizations update security for AI, but only 26% can enforce it, exposing a growing 'AI Security Gap' across the enterprise
, /PRNewswire/ -- Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), a pioneer and global leader of cyber security solutions, today released its 2026 Cloud Security Report: Enter the AI Era, revealing a growing disconnect between rapid AI adoption and security readiness.
The report reveals a critical shift from the cloud "blind spots" of 2025 to a deeper challenge in 2026: organizations are no longer just struggling with visibility, but with governance, control, and real-time enforcement. AI is changing how users behave, how applications communicate, and where threats enter the environment. This year, 77% of organizations have updated their security strategy for cloud in response to AI, yet only 26% report having the architecture to enforce it. This reveals a 51-point gap between intent and capability.
Meanwhile, attackers are weaponizing AI tools to accelerate phishing, generate malware, and launch adversarial attacks faster than traditional security models can respond. The impact is already measurable: 78% of organizations reported confirmed or suspected AI-related security incidents over the past year.
"The 2026 Cloud Security Report confirms what many security practitioners already sense," said Paul Barbosa, Vice President of Cloud Security and SASE at Check Point Software Technologies. "AI adoption has outpaced the architecture built to govern it. Agents are acting inside live systems; data is moving through external AI services, and most enterprises still lack the visibility and enforcement to keep pace. At Check Point, we believe security has to be built into the architecture from the start. Beginning at the infrastructure layer, through clouds, and especially at runtime. Visibility, Control, and Security need to be present at all layers in the stack AI workloads will operate in. "
Key findings for cloud-native environments include:
Infrastructure Misalignment: 52% of AI workloads span hybrid environments, yet 64% say their architecture needs redesign Perimeter Gaps: 76% rate datacenter security as critical for AI, but only 35% say it can support current needs Performance Challenges: Only 24% can fully inspect AI traffic without impacting performance; 71% report increased WAF false positives Operational Complexity: 88% say AI has increased security complexity; 67% report fragmented policies Limited Visibility: 54% of organizations have experienced an AI-related security incident, while another 24% cannot confirm due to lack of visibility. This means more than three-quarters have either been hit or cannot determine whether they have Identity Risks: 48% cite non-human identities (AI agents, APIs) as a top concern Inconsistent access model: Organizations have yet to converge on a single access model. 24% say they have no AI-specific access controls, and only 16% enforce controls consistently across the environment Closing the AI Security Gap
To address these challenges, the report emphasizes the need for a unified, prevention-first architecture across cloud, datacenter, SaaS, and endpoints.
Unified Management: 86% of leaders rate unified security management across cloud, datacenter, and edge as critical for AI workloads. A hybrid mesh architecture keeps policies and protections consistent everywhere, no matter where data or workloads run Prevention-First Security: Real-time blocking of ransomware, zero-day threats, and data leaks using AI-driven insights, validated by a 99.8% security effectiveness score in the 2026 Miercom report Secure Connectivity and Threat Prevention: Identity-based protection ensures every user, device, and application is verified and protected in real time, with consistent security across all access points and without impacting performance AI Defense Plane: A unified control plane governing how AI is connected, deployed, and operated, with runtime protection across employee AI use, applications, and agentic systems Agentic Network Security Orchestration: The 51-point enforcement gap is more than a visibility problem; it's also an operational one. Check Point's newly launched Agentic Network Security Orchestration Platform shifts security teams to the level of business intent, letting AI agents autonomously handle policy creation, Zero Trust tightening, and compliance across hybrid environments Download the full 2026 Cloud Security Report: Enter the AI Era here, or read the accompanying blog post.

Check Point Exposure Management introduces new AI agents that reason like attackers – proving what is actually exploitable and giving security teams the evidence to act before adversaries do
, /PRNewswire/ -- Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), a pioneer and global leader of cyber security solutions today launched Agentic Exposure Validation (AEV) for Exposure Management, to put defenders on equal footing with AI-driven attackers. As frontier AI models like Anthropic's Mythos and OpenAI's GPT-5.5 gain the ability to autonomously find thousands of exploitable vulnerabilities at scale, the question for boards and CISOs is no longer "are we patched?" but "what can attackers actually exploit right now? and how do we find it before they do?" AEV is the answer.
"The era of autonomous, AI-driven exploitation is here. Frontier AI models are attacking critical vulnerabilities at scale, without human steering," said Yochai Corem, General Manager of Exposure Management at Check Point. "Security teams are already inundated and cannot effectively address that emerging threat. Agentic Exposure Validation is our answer: AI agents that reason like attackers reviewing your organization digital surface from the outside with our unique threat intelligence context and prove what is actually exploitable and provides security teams the evidence and the remediation to act smartly and effectively before attackers do."
Agentic Exposure Validation (AEV) uses AI agents that reason like attackers across the organization's specific environment, correlating exposure data, asset context, live exploit research, threat intelligence, and protection coverage to determine whether an exposure is truly exploitable. Rather than relying on static severity scores, AEV follows a safe proving loop: it analyzes the relevant asset or CVE, enriches findings with live Check Point threat intelligence, checks whether existing controls already block the path, and builds a targeted validation that mirrors attacker reasoning without disruptive techniques. It then either proves the exposure with direct evidence, pivots to a new attack path when blocked, or discards the threat altogether. AEV is a critical validation capability within Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) programs, helping organizations move from discovery and prioritization into confident, evidence-based exposure reduction at AI scale.
Early customer engagements have already demonstrated this pattern, and AEV was able to create novel exploit for dozens of vulnerabilities that had no known exploit.
Agentic Exposure Validation is available now as part of Check Point Exposure Management. To learn more or to request a complimentary AEV scan, organizations can complete the demo request form here to see what an agentic attacker would uncover on their external attack surface.
