Bitcoin Treasury Company purchased nearly 136,000 BTC via preferred stock financing, exceeding 0.5% of Bitcoin's maximum supply.
Fidelity data shows that as of October 5, 2025, bitcoin treasury firms including Strategy and Strive have used related preferred stock financing to purchase 135,979 BTC, accounting for over 0.5% of bitcoin’s total maximum supply. The market size of this type of preferred stock is approximately $120 billion. Analysts note these firms face a balancing act between using perpetual preferred stock financing to buy bitcoin and sustaining dividend payments. Perpetual preferred stock has no fixed maturity date, easing refinancing pressure and attracting income-focused investors reluctant to hold bitcoin directly. However, as issuance scales up, dividend expenses will rise. Analysts add that sustained financing for bitcoin purchases depends on preferred stock trading at or near par value; if it trades below par, new issuances will become less attractive, and firms may lean toward buybacks. CoinShares Head of Research James Butterfill points out that Strategy’s latest weekly report shows the firm spent $193 million to repurchase STRC, bought only 267 BTC in the same period, and raised its preferred stock repurchase authorization cap to $30 billion. He says buybacks can reduce future dividend costs, but also compete with current bitcoin purchases for capital. Bitwise Head of Research Ryan Rasmussen forecasts that ETFs will remain a larger source of bitcoin demand in the long run, while perpetual preferred stock caters to a distinct group of income-focused investors, providing a second stream of demand support. Butterfill believes preferred stock could amplify market cycles: it supports bitcoin purchases when financing conditions are favorable, but that support weakens when market sentiment deteriorates.

BONK Inu and PartyBet have launched Get Bonked, a Telegram prediction game where correct calls double the stake and wrong calls lose it. Here is how it works.
BONK Inu (@bonk_inu) $BONK and PartyBet (@partybet) have launched Get Bonked, a new game that runs inside Telegram. The title adds another product to the Bonk memecoin ecosystem on Solana.
How Get Bonked worksThe game is built around quick, high-stakes decisions. Players predict an outcome and then stake their funds. A correct call doubles the stake, while a wrong call loses it, so each round is effectively all or nothing.
The BONK team is also offering bonus cash to selected players who share their winning cards. The mechanic is designed to encourage players to post results and bring others into the game.
As with any game that puts funds at risk, outcomes are binary and losses are possible on every round. Players should only stake what they can afford to lose.
PartyBet and the wider Bonk ecosystemPartyBet is positioned as a Telegram-based platform. According to Solana Compass, PartyBet is a Telegram app with BONK-branded casino games and sports picks. The same profile notes that Bonk's official account began promoting its sports betting feature, with odds supplied by Polymarket, on 9 October 2026.
The tie-up between the two brands is not new. CoinJournal reported that BONK announced a partnership with PartyBet, a platform focused on Telegram-based sports prediction markets and casino-style games. The outlet said the deal expands the utility of BONK beyond its role as a memecoin by introducing another avenue for community participation.
Get Bonked fits a broader pattern for the token. BONK is a dog-themed memecoin on Solana that launched in December 2022 through a community airdrop. It has since grown into a set of products including BonkBot, a Telegram trading bot, a memecoin launchpad known as Letsbonkfun, the BonkSwap exchange and the BONKRewards lock-and-earn program.
Games and betting-style products add to that mix, and they sit inside Telegram, where BonkBot already operates. Whether they help BONK's market performance is a separate question. CoinJournal noted that earlier PartyBet and BONKUJI developments generated attention within the Solana ecosystem but had not translated into a meaningful recovery in the BONK price.

A series of security vulnerabilities have been disclosed in internet infrastructure software within a single day, affecting PHP, Node.js, and Go.
Multiple internet infrastructure software projects rolled out security updates in a single day, addressing vulnerabilities including remote code execution, TLS certificate validation bypass, and certificate trust risks. PHP fixed two critical flaws: CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619, both enabling unauthenticated remote code execution that impacts PHP environments processing web requests. The patched versions are 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36, and 8.2.35. Node.js’ advisory details 10 vulnerabilities, four of which are high-severity: these include remote code execution via out-of-bounds write in the Brotli decoder, DNS name truncation, and two TLS certificate hostname validation bypass issues. Fixed versions are 26.12.1, 24.22.1, and 22.23.4. Additionally, Go’s crypto/x509-related risk is tracked as CVE-2026-111943, rated "Important" by Red Hat with a CVSS 3.1 score of 6.8. Attackers with specific network access and valid certificates could impersonate legitimate servers to intercept or alter communications. Go 1.26.10 and 1.27.3 have been added to a deny list, blocking trust for compromised intermediate certificates.

Trump plans to leverage White House cyber crime efforts to showcase achievements in combating cross-border crypto fraud.
White House officials said on October 21 that Trump planned to focus on the U.S. government’s actions to crack down on overseas crypto fraud rings during the White House’s cybersecurity event that day, including recovering funds and shutting down fraudulent operations. These transnational criminal groups steal funds from U.S. citizens via romance scams, phishing, ransomware and other methods. The U.S. government noted that law enforcement agencies have seized approximately $833 million in crypto assets linked to overseas fraud, and shut down 503 fraudulent crypto websites under the supervision of the Homeland Security Task Force. Relevant authorities have also notified nearly 9,000 U.S. citizens to alert them they are being targeted by fraud. The U.S. Treasury Department previously announced the establishment of an inter-agency "Fraud Strike Task Force" to target "pig butchering" scams run by organized criminal groups in Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and the Philippines. Since last year, the U.S. has also imposed multiple sanctions aimed at cutting off support for related fraud websites and their infrastructure.

Beyond PHP, three Node.js version branches are also affected by high-severity vulnerabilities, and users need to update their runtime environments promptly.
Node.js rolled out a security update on October 21, covering its 26.x, 24.x, and 22.x version branches, with corresponding patched releases: 26.12.1, 24.22.1, and 22.23.4. The advisory details 10 total vulnerabilities, categorized as 4 critical-severity, 3 medium-severity, and 3 low-severity, with varying impact scopes across the three version lines. The critical CVE-2026-111497 is an out-of-bounds write flaw in the Brotli decoder that could enable remote code execution (RCE), affecting all three branches. Other critical issues include improper null character handling in DNS resolution and a TLS certificate hostname validation bypass. The update also resolves problems with persistent connection response processing, random number cache duplication, and permission models, while updating dependencies including c-ares, OpenSSL, and Undici. The official note warns that end-of-life (EOL) versions may still be vulnerable, advising users to use the latest supported releases. Separately, prior reports noted PHP has fixed two critical unauthenticated RCE vulnerabilities, with patches available for versions 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36, and 8.2.35; PHP users are urged to upgrade immediately.

Putin in principle has agreed to resume the trilateral peace talks between Russia, the United States and Ukraine, with Abu Dhabi a possible venue.
According to reports from Reuters and Axios, the Kremlin stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin told U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff on Wednesday he "agrees in principle" to resume trilateral peace talks between Russia, Ukraine and the U.S. around November 10 to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict, with the venue potentially in Abu Dhabi.
Witkoff held a three-hour meeting with Putin in St. Petersburg the same day, presenting the latest plan to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Trump envoy Jared Kushner joined the session via video.
Witkoff informed Putin that progress had been made in the Oslo talks, and expressed hope that both sides would consider restarting the Russia-U.S.-Ukraine trilateral negotiations and allow technical experts to participate in discussions on specific issues. He also submitted multiple documents on the peaceful resolution of the Russia-Ukraine conflict to Putin.
Separately, Putin raised with Witkoff the possibility of Russia acting as a mediator between the U.S. and Iran. Putin noted that Russia has decades of special trust relations with Iran and is willing to contribute to resolving the current crisis.

Bank of America: US stocks attracted $39 billion in capital in a single week, but its strategist team remains "risk-averse".
A new Bank of America report shows U.S. stock funds recorded another $39 billion in weekly inflows, putting the annualized inflow on track to reach $636 billion this year, a record high. U.S. Treasuries have logged inflows for 16 consecutive weeks, the longest stretch since August 2024. However, Bank of America’s strategy team led by Michael Hartnett remains "risk-averse", citing rising real yields, price movements in AI and bank stocks, and potential volatility from the midterm elections. EPFR data indicates global stock funds drew around $64.5 billion in inflows in the week ended October 14. U.S. large-cap stocks saw $32.5 billion in inflows, while growth, value, and small-cap stocks posted inflows of $1.6 billion, $1.2 billion, and $1.1 billion respectively. Tech stocks led with $10.7 billion in inflows, while financial and consumer stocks saw outflows of $1.4 billion and $0.6 billion respectively. Emerging markets recorded $17.7 billion in inflows, Japan drew $0.4 billion, and Europe saw outflows of $1.5 billion. Safe-haven assets were also popular: U.S. Treasuries drew $3.6 billion in inflows, investment-grade bonds $3.5 billion, municipal bonds $4.5 billion, and emerging market bonds $0.8 billion. High-yield bonds saw outflows of $0.9 billion for the third straight week. Cash funds saw outflows of $53.1 billion, gold drew only $0.1 billion in inflows, cryptocurrencies saw outflows of around $0.6 billion, and bond funds as a whole posted $11.8 billion in inflows. The fund flows stand in contrast to the cautious stance of Bank of America’s strategists.

Viewpoint: Analysts Unconcerned About MSCI, Bullish Consensus for MSTR Remains Solid
CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju took to X to share his views on MicroStrategy (MSTR)'s market outlook, noting that analysts are not concerned about potential exclusion from the MSCI index, and MSTR's market consensus remains strongly bullish. Ju cited Wall Street target price estimates for MSTR: Citi at $240, Barclays at $175, and B. Riley at $195, adding that these targets are trending upward rather than downward. He argued that MSCI status is merely a capital flow narrative that has already been priced into the market. According to Ju, the key metrics to watch now are: mNAV of approximately 1.0x, STRC at par value, and $3.75 billion in reserves sufficient to cover dividends. Supported by Wall Street target price hikes and solid financial metrics, MSTR's bullish thesis has not been undermined by the MSCI factor.

Celestia launches Eden, a high-performance EVM chain to test AI Agents' autonomous trading and payment capabilities.
Modular blockchain project Celestia has announced the launch of Eden, a high-performance EVM chain built on Celestia. Celestia says Eden will act as an experimental sandbox for "Agentic Commerce", used to test the behavior and infrastructure needs of AI agents when conducting on-chain autonomous payments, transactions, and model calls.
Celestia notes that as AI agents start engaging in more frequent on-chain transactions, market demand for block space, real-time settlement, and low-friction payments will continue to rise. Eden will help teams observe what transaction environment agents need, how they manage funds, and how their on-chain activities will impact network design.
Eden’s first experimental project is Botfun, which is currently in closed beta. Per Celestia, participating agents can issue their own tokens and trade around narratives generated by other agents; each model inference call is paid on-chain via x402. Celestia states this experiment briefly pushed Eden to become one of the largest x402 networks by transaction volume.
Technically, Eden is an EVM-compatible chain supporting atomic batch transactions, application-sponsored gas payments, and larger smart contract deployments, with its native gas token being TIA. These designs will reduce signature and fee friction when agents execute consecutive payments, swaps, and interactions.

Analysis: Ethereum’s structure has improved following the leverage wash on the Binance platform, though it lacks bullish catalysts.
Crypto analytics account CryptoOnchain noted in its latest report that Ethereum’s market structure has improved following Binance’s leverage liquidation, but no clear bullish catalyst has emerged. ETH is currently trading around $2,439, down 6.5% over seven days and 5.2% over 30 days, with an overall on-chain score of roughly zero, indicating a neutral stance.
Positive factors cited in the report include: Binance’s open interest fell 4.7% over 30 days to around $6.1 billion, with long liquidations rising 47%, showing fragile leverage is being cleared out; funding rates are also near zero. Additionally, Binance’s ETH reserves dropped 2.4%, reducing its supply share and easing selling pressure; its staking rate stands at 36.1%, in the 98.6th percentile.
However, negative factors are also prominent: Binance’s USDT reserves fell 2.3%, with stablecoin net outflows of around $175 million, indicating insufficient new buying funds; Coinbase’s premium is -0.11, signaling weak institutional demand. On the network activity front, transaction volume dropped 4%, and burn fees fell 58%.
CryptoOnchain concluded that Binance’s leverage has been largely cleared, making the market structure healthier, but no bullish catalyst is yet present. If USDT flows back to Binance and Coinbase’s premium turns positive in the future, Ethereum’s outlook could shift to bullish.

Nine crypto firms established a quantum alliance today, with the core dispute being whether to freeze vulnerable assets.
The Quantum Alliance, a consortium of nine crypto firms, was launched today. Publicly disclosed members include security company Hacken, Charles Hoskinson’s Midnight Foundation, quantum-resistant Layer 1 blockchain Quantus, and Postquant Labs; additional members have not yet been individually named. The alliance will develop common security standards for blockchains such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
It is estimated that roughly 6.4 million Bitcoin—representing 30.2% of the total supply—have exposed public keys, including around 1.1 million linked to Satoshi Nakamoto. Existing quantum computers are not yet capable of stealing these assets. However, the Quantum Alliance has significant internal divisions over the quantum threat timeline and response strategies. Bryn Bennett, chief revenue officer at The Vault, stated no one knows the exact date, but estimates of when quantum threats will become actionable are constantly advancing. Richard Carback, CTO of Postquant Labs, believes 2028 is a realistic timeline.
The core debate centers on whether to freeze vulnerable assets. Carback advocates for transferring rather than freezing, while Bennett points out that freezing is a governance decision for the Bitcoin network, and any freeze would set a precedent that trades property rights and network neutrality for quantum risk. Previously, CZ suggested freezing Satoshi’s Bitcoin, and developer Jameson Lopp also proposed restricting vulnerable tokens, though critics argue this violates Bitcoin’s fundamental promise of non-seizure. Moving forward, the alliance plans to publish joint security testing and migration guidelines.

Cap’i yüzde 698,9 artışla Grass (GRASS) takip ederken Starknet (STRK) yüzde 468,78’lik büyümeyle üçüncü sıraya yerleşti. Özellikle Starknet’in kaydettiği güçlü artış, projenin ağ aktivitesindeki hareketliliği ortaya koydu. Solana ekosisteminin popüler memecoin’leri Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) ve Bonk (BONK) da yüksek büyüme oranlarıyla ilk 10’a girmeyi başardı.

Dogecoin opened October with a new application testnet, while Shiba Inu gained a route onto Solana. Bonk and Floki have live products whose use can be measured, and Pepe remains a large trading market without a scheduled protocol upgrade. Their communities are established, but the developments behind each token are sharply different.
Summary
Dogecoin remains the largest meme coin by capitalization, while the DogeOS public testnet opened September 30. Shiba Inu became available on Solana through Sunrise in early October, but token movement between networks requires careful accounting. Pepe’s liquid market and large community do not amount to a scheduled product catalyst. Bonk’s site claims more than 1.1 million holders and over 400 integrations, alongside a serious DAO treasury loss earlier this year. Floki has a live game and other products, but October demand should be measured rather than assumed from their existence. CoinGecko’s meme category placed the sector near $35.1 billion on October 6. Its live table put DOGE around $14.7 billion of that total, SHIB near $3.4 billion, PEPE near $1.8 billion, BONK near $330 million and FLOKI near $277 million at the time checked. These are changing market values, not forecasts. Memecoin liquidity can disappear quickly when holders try to sell through the same side of a market.
Dogecoin’s testnet may attract developers before it attracts paying users. SHIB’s new Solana access can add liquidity while the Shibarium recovery process remains unresolved. Bonk’s integrations have to be weighed against a July governance loss, and Floki’s game needs repeat players. PEPE’s price depends more directly on trading interest. A meme can rally without a product, and a product can launch without lifting the meme.
What lies behind the low unit prices? Circulating supply explains much of the difference between meme coin unit prices. A coin priced at a millionth of a dollar can still be valued in billions if trillions circulate. Order book depth and real turnover determine whether holders can sell at the quoted price. Reported 24 hour volume can include trades that would be costly to replicate in size. Concentrated holdings make the decisions of a few wallets unusually important.
Followers, holders and active users measure different things. Wallet counts can include airdrop recipients, several addresses held by one person or dormant accounts. Bonk publishes a holder count, Dogecoin’s community predates most of its proposed applications, and Pepe’s meme and liquid market remain central to demand. Participation through a decline carries more weight than a burst of posts during a rally.
Supply mechanisms also differ. Dogecoin creates new coins through mining. An Ethereum token with a large fixed circulating supply has no corresponding new mined issuance, although a holder can still sell existing supply. Burn announcements must be judged by the proportion retired, who funded the burn and whether activity paid for it. Comparing a token’s price with another coin’s higher nominal price is arithmetically meaningless without multiplying by supply.
Dogecoin: A testnet is the near term product event DogeOS opened a public testnet for applications using DOGE as a fee token. The project’s launch announcement describes an Ethereum compatible environment for developers. The crypto.news report on the launch lists proposed trading, lending and stablecoin uses. Testnet DOGE is not a measurement of economically valuable fees paid by production users; the project has not supplied a confirmed mainnet date.

— crypto.news (@cryptodotnews) October 1, 2026 Dogecoin leads the sector by market value. CoinGecko placed DOGE near $14.7 billion on October 6, more than four times SHIB’s valuation. Its native payments chain and long lived community give it a record the newer meme tokens lack. DogeOS provides a timely October development because it gives developers a place to build trading and lending tools around DOGE. The application layer is separate from Dogecoin layer 1, however, and its public testnet has not established production demand.
DOGE’s mining issuance continues while the test proceeds. A small U.S. fund’s planned closure complicates claims that every new investment vehicle will attract persistent institutional flows. Disclosed mainnet readiness and independent applications would matter more for DogeOS than testnet transactions generated by incentives.
Shiba Inu: New access meets an older security debt SHIB became available on Solana through Sunrise in early October, according to the crypto.news October account. The listing gives Solana traders access to a token whose original market developed on Ethereum. A backed representation does not create new underlying SHIB when the corresponding tokens are held elsewhere; its custody and redemption arrangements determine whether that access is reliable.
The project also has an unresolved trust test. The Shibarium recovery dashboard describes a claim process for people affected by a September 2025 bridge incident. Its contribution page says user recovery is intended to occur over time and acknowledges the need to fund it. A claim NFT represents an amount owed under that mechanism; it is not evidence that all affected users have already received full reimbursement. A crypto.news report on a Shibarium reorg describes subsequent infrastructure work.
CoinGecko put SHIB near $3.4 billion on October 6, second among the five considered here. Its older holder community and Solana access give October a specific distribution story: traders on another major chain can now reach the token. The September 2025 bridge incident leaves a separate, unresolved liability. The recovery pages describe claims and future payouts rather than a completed reimbursement, so broader access arrives while that obligation remains open.
Pepe: An established meme without a dated October upgrade PEPE has a large Ethereum based market and has remained visible since its 2023 launch. CoinGecko’s live meme table placed it among the larger meme tokens on October 6. Traders can find liquidity across major venues, though the market can thin during a selloff. PEPE has no verified October protocol upgrade or product revenue event to anchor its near term price case.
A crypto.news account of September trading illustrates how fast its momentum can change. A later price report discussed a weaker setup. Neither technical observation predicts the rest of October. The genuine PEPE thesis is that the meme retains attention and traders continue to supply liquidity. That can produce large gains during speculative cycles, but the mechanism can reverse as abruptly as it begins.

— crypto.news (@cryptodotnews) September 21, 2026 PEPE’s October 6 market value of roughly $1.8 billion placed it above BONK and FLOKI in CoinGecko’s meme category. September’s rapid rise and subsequent weaker chart give it a recent trading history, although neither move supplies an October product event. PEPE belongs here as a liquid, established meme trade whose value depends on attention and cash market depth. Rising derivatives open interest could reflect leveraged speculation without an equivalent increase in spot holders.
Bonk: A broad ecosystem with a governance scar Bonk’s official site describes more than 1.1 million holders and over 400 integrations. It lists trading, swaps, rewards, games and other projects associated with BONK. Those numbers and products make the Solana meme coin more than a single exchange ticker, but an integration can be a listing or optional payment rather than recurring fee demand. An independently operated product may not send its profits to BONK holders.
A crypto.news examination of the BonkDAO governance attack described a roughly $20 million treasury transfer to an attacker controlled wallet in July through valid governance transactions. Bonk’s integrations did not prevent fragile approval rules from exposing its treasury. Subsequent control changes and public accounting remain part of the token’s October story.
CoinGecko valued BONK near $330 million on October 6, far below DOGE and SHIB, while the project’s own holder and integration figures indicate wider distribution than its market cap alone conveys. Its Solana origin and live trading, swap and consumer tools support inclusion. July’s treasury loss is a material counterweight: the October case turns partly on whether the DAO has addressed the approval process that permitted it. Solana trading volume in unrelated tokens cannot be counted as BONK revenue.
Floki: A live game needs repeat players Floki’s official site describes Valhalla and other ecosystem products. Its documentation sets out the intended role of FLOKI in the game. Valhalla had a mainnet game launch in 2025; it is inaccurate to market October 2026 as its first launch. An older crypto.news account of the first tournament helps establish the prior timeline.
FLOKI’s community has supported a game beyond the token’s original meme identity. Valhalla’s 2025 mainnet launch and tournament history establish a live product rather than a proposed October debut. CoinGecko valued FLOKI near $277 million on October 6, smaller than the other four. Game activity supplies a potential route to token use, although prize funded tournaments can bring temporary players without durable spending. Its staking and education products have separate audiences and economics.

— crypto.news (@cryptodotnews) September 17, 2026 Floki has not announced a verified October event that would repeat Valhalla’s original launch. Its news archive records patches and releases as they arrive. A new update would need before and after player data to establish whether usage changed. The live game and established community remain visible, while a specific October price catalyst has yet to emerge.
Which October results would change the case? A production DogeOS launch accompanied by independently used apps would be stronger evidence than its current testnet. For SHIB, reliable cross chain liquidity and visible progress on recovery would address two separate concerns. For PEPE, deeper cash liquidity and broad holder participation would matter more than a newly invented utility narrative. For BONK, repeat product use and corrected governance would improve the case. For FLOKI, retained Valhalla players and observable FLOKI spending would be decisive.
Market wide liquidity can swamp all five. September CPI is scheduled for October 14 and the Fed meets October 27 and 28. A strong BTC rally can pull meme tokens up without changing their own economics; a fall in risk appetite can push the entire category down despite a successful patch. The right comparison is each coin’s relative performance and its underlying measurements over several weeks, including what happened after incentives ended.
Security, governance, product adoption and market liquidity can each change quickly. A new DogeOS mainnet announcement, a SHIB redemption update, a BonkDAO control change or sustained Valhalla activity would add evidence to the respective token’s case. The dates and status of those developments matter because a previous year’s launch cannot serve as an October 2026 event.

What to watch DOGE: DogeOS mainnet plans, independent developer launches and economically valuable DOGE fees.
SHIB: Solana mint verification, redemption terms, sustained liquidity and Shibarium recovery progress.
PEPE: Spot depth, holder concentration and whether momentum persists without a dated product event.
BONK: Product activity, governance changes after the treasury attack and whether token use generates measurable demand.
FLOKI: Valhalla retained players, FLOKI payments and confirmed new releases rather than old game launch headlines.
FAQ What is the best memecoin to buy in October 2026? There is no single best asset for everyone. The five differ in liquidity, live products, governance history and supply, and none is a recommendation to buy.
Is DogeOS live on Dogecoin mainnet? The public testnet is live. A mainnet launch date had not been confirmed in the project’s cited documentation as of October 6.
Does SHIB’s Solana listing create more SHIB? A backed cross chain representation should be reconciled against tokens held on its origin chain. Check the exact issuance, custody and redemption mechanism.
Does PEPE have an October upgrade? No verified October protocol upgrade has been announced. PEPE’s near term case rests on community and trading liquidity.
How many BONK holders are there? Bonk’s site claims more than 1.1 million holders. Wallet counts and active users are different measures.
Is Valhalla a new October 2026 game launch? No. Its mainnet launch preceded October 2026. New patches or player growth need separate evidence.
Does a token burn guarantee a higher price? No. A burn’s scale, funding and accompanying demand determine its relevance, while the wider market can move in either direction.
Why is the unit price so low for some meme coins? The circulating supply can be enormous. Compare supply multiplied by price and the ability to sell into real liquidity.

BONK Posts Double-Digit Gains as Solana Memecoins Regain AttentionBonk ($BONK) is showing renewed strength, gaining 16% over the past week and 30% across the previous two weeks, according to @BSCNews. The Solana-based memecoin, identified onchain by the address DezXAZ8z7PnrnRJjz3wXBoRgixCa6xjnB7YaB1pPB263, has been one of the more resilient assets in the Solana ecosystem through a period of heightened volatility across crypto markets.
BONK launched in December 2022, arriving shortly after the collapse of FTX rattled confidence across the Solana network. Rather than conducting a traditional sale, its creators distributed 50% of the total token supply via airdrop to Solana community members, positioning BONK from the start as a community-first project during one of the sector's more difficult stretches.
Today, BONK has moved well beyond its memecoin origins. The project now counts more than 350 onchain integrations, a figure that reflects how far it has extended its reach since launch.
LetsBonkfun Emerges as a Leading Solana Memecoin LaunchpadOne of the more significant developments in the BONK ecosystem has been the rise of LetsBonkfun. The platform is a memecoin launchpad built by the BONK community in partnership with decentralized exchange Raydium, launched in April 2025. It went on to surpass then-market leader Pumpfun in both usage and revenues by July 2025.
LetsBonkfun's share of Solana's launchpad market grew from 13% to over 78% within a single month in July 2025. Revenues generated by the platform are used to buy back BONK tokens as well as the top 11 tokens launched through it. Within three months of launch, the platform had seen over 235,000 tokens created and 2,795 projects graduating to major DEXs, with instant listings on Raydium and Jupiter. The buyback mechanism ties platform activity directly to BONK's token economics, giving holders an additional incentive beyond pure price speculation.
Whether the current momentum holds will depend in large part on conditions across the wider Solana ecosystem.
60-year-old woman in Hong Kong falls victim to a crypto investment scam, suffering total losses of approximately HK$21.5 million.
Hong Kong police received a report on October 3 from a 60-year-old woman. The woman had previously met a self-proclaimed "investment expert" on an online platform, who later lured her to invest in cryptocurrency on a fake website through an online investment platform. The involved platform then demanded the woman pay a deposit to verify that her investment account was not used for money laundering. Between April 14 and September 22, the woman transferred funds multiple times to the designated investment accounts, totaling approximately HK$21.5 million. She subsequently reported the case to police after suspecting fraud. Following an initial investigation, police classified the case as "obtaining property by deception" and assigned it to the Fourth Criminal Investigation Team of Sau Mau Ping Police District. No arrests have been made in connection with the case so far. Police stated that upon conviction for this offense, the maximum penalty is 14 years of imprisonment.

DWF Labs Partner: If Trump wins the midterm elections and distributes $5,000 to every adult, the crypto market may usher in a bull market.
DWF Labs Managing Partner Andrei Grachev stated that if Donald Trump wins the midterm elections and disburses $5,000 to every U.S. adult, the scale would reach 150% of the COVID-19 era’s "helicopter money" program. He noted that a portion of these funds would inevitably flow into the crypto market, potentially triggering a bull run comparable to the 2021 rally. However, Grachev warned that investors should take profits during such a rally, as a crisis could follow. Earlier reports had noted Trump’s renewed pledge: if Republicans secure control of both the House of Representatives and Senate in the midterms, he will issue a $5,000 "dividend" to every adult U.S. citizen. Based on an estimated 240 million U.S. adults, the plan would cost roughly $1.2 trillion, making it one of the largest economic stimulus measures in the U.S. since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hyperliquid has earned its first USDC reserve revenue of $14.58 million, with an annualized run rate of roughly $193 million at current scale.
Hyperdash co-founder Hans published a post noting that Hyperliquid’s AQAv2 mechanism has established a new revenue stream. On October 3, the AQAv2 treasury wallet completed its first payment of $14.58 million for the USDC reserves held by the trading platform over the prior 30 days. The funds will be allocated to an assistance fund for purchasing HYPE. Under the mechanism, after users bridge USDC to Hyperliquid, Circle mints the corresponding assets on HyperEVM, and charges fees on the treasury balance daily, with settlements occurring every 30 days. Coinbase and Circle each staked 500,000 HYPE; if payments are delayed, Coinbase could lose 2% of its staked amount per day. Hans added that Hyperliquid’s previous revenue was primarily derived from trading fees, while AQAv2 enables the platform to earn income directly from margin deposits themselves, regardless of whether the associated funds are used for trading. The first payment covers the period from August 26 to September 24, with an implied average rate of roughly 3.14%. At current scale, annualized revenue is estimated at approximately $193 million. From January 1 to September 30 this year, Hyperliquid’s open interest rose from $7.72 billion to $16.4 billion, and platform margin increased from $4.34 billion to $7.22 billion. Over the same period, perpetual contracts recorded around $2 trillion in total trading volume, generating $493.3 million in fees for the protocol, equivalent to roughly 2.46 basis points per dollar of trading volume. Using this year’s average trading speed and current AQAv2 rate, every $1 of margin contributes about 15.4 cents in annual revenue to the protocol, split into ~12.5 cents from trading fees and ~2.8 cents from AQAv2. Hans projected that under the baseline scenario of stablecoin volume growing 20% annually and Hyperliquid retaining its current ~8.7% market share, the protocol’s annual revenue could rise from the current ~$1.11 billion to $2.4 billion by the end of 2030.

A Bitcoin whale has placed a $10.27 million long bet on Bitcoin, targeting a rebound, at an average entry price of $84,918.9.
According to on-chain analyst Ai Yi (handle @ai_9684xtpa), address 0x799…15f4c opened its first position on Hyperliquid, betting on Bitcoin (BTC)’s rebound with 7x leverage. The address initiated a long position of 121.23 BTC in the early hours of today, with the position valued at approximately $10.27 million, an average entry price of $84,918.9, and is currently facing an unrealized loss of around $20,000.
Forbes: The narrative of Bitcoin as a "depreciation hedge" is heating up, Trump says a moderate level of inflation can quickly reduce $40 trillion in debt.
According to Forbes, U.S. President Donald Trump told Time magazine in an interview that "a certain level of inflation will also pay off debt very quickly," sparking market debate over whether the U.S. can reduce its real debt burden through nominal economic growth and inflation. The outlet notes that U.S. federal debt has surpassed $40 trillion, more than doubling over the past decade, while interest payments have climbed steadily after Federal Reserve rate hikes. Trump, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Elon Musk have all previously cited technology-driven economic growth as a critical solution to debt pressure. Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s price has rallied roughly 300% from its 2023 low, but remains about 30% below its 2025 all-time high of $126,000. Markets have recently refocused on the "debasement trade"—a strategy where investors hedge against fiat currency purchasing power erosion by allocating to assets like gold and Bitcoin. Forbes cited Bitfire Research’s analysis, which argues that Bitcoin’s long-term value as a hedge against fiat depreciation remains valid, though short-term prices may still be swayed by interest rate policies and U.S. dollar liquidity. Additionally, the Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation gauge, the PCE index, shows U.S. prices rose 3.4% year-over-year, still above the Fed’s 2% target. Markets assign a roughly 70% probability that the Fed will hold interest rates steady at its late-October policy meeting.

Greek police dismantled a crypto fraud ring with over 8 million euros in funds involved.
Greek police have busted a cryptocurrency investment fraud ring and arrested 17 individuals, including 9 military personnel. Initial police investigations indicate approximately 10,000 people participated in the scheme, with an average investment of around €800 per person, leading to an estimated total amount involved exceeding €8 million. The ring operated as a clear pyramid scheme, using recruitment of new members to generate higher returns. Additionally, the group recently froze withdrawal functions and claimed that investors who doubled their principal would receive a double payout after 50 days. Authorities have seized approximately €280,000 so far, and the investigation is ongoing.
Bonk Guy published an analysis on X regarding Robinhood Chain’s ecosystem, arguing that the chain’s rise relies primarily on Robinhood’s massive retail user base and the narrative of token listings rather than technological advantages, forming a strong flywheel effect. Bonk Guy noted that the recent slump in Robinhood Chain stems from three main factors: over-pumped ecosystem tokens needing a correction, Solana’s recovery diverting funds, and Robinhood’s insufficient follow-up on listing ecosystem projects (such as PONS\AI), leading to a temporary slowdown in momentum. He emphasized he remains optimistic about the ecosystem’s future, pointing out that the ecosystem’s failure to collapse after the HOOD Summit is a positive signal. If Robinhood increases listing catalysts and strengthens the distribution effect of token listings, on-chain activity will rebound significantly during the bull market, and Robinhood Chain’s next rally will arrive soon.
Dogecoin, Cardano, Aave and Bonk are all trading at critical technical levels as bulls attempt to extend the recent market recovery. Each token confronts distinct resistance and support zones that could determine whether the latest rallies can transition into broader upward trends.
Dogecoin eyes decisive breakout above $0.100Dogecoin currently trades near $0.0954 after rebounding from August lows at $0.069. The token’s ability to hold above the important $0.093–$0.094 long-term moving average has become a focal point on the daily chart, as this level previously acted as resistance during Dogecoin’s decline. The late-September rally lifted DOGE above it, but price is now consolidating just above this former barrier.
Maintaining support at $0.093 could signal a shift in sentiment, turning previous resistance into a new floor. If DOGE slips below this threshold, the next key level is the short-term average at $0.091, with another strong defense zone between $0.085 and $0.088. On the upside, $0.100 stands out as the most important obstacle. The recent rally saw brief movement above $0.100 and a wick toward $0.106, but a sustained daily close above this area is required to confirm further upside momentum.
Momentum signals remain slightly bullish, as the relative strength index (RSI) hovers in the upper 50s, indicating DOGE remains clear of overbought territory. The price structure continues to favor bulls as long as $0.093 holds, but only a close above $0.100 to $0.106 would open the door to a more meaningful breakout.
TokenCurrent PriceKey SupportKey ResistanceDogecoin (DOGE)$0.0954$0.093$0.100–$0.106 Dogecoin’s technical setup hinges on holding $0.093 as support while pressing for a daily close above the psychological $0.100 barrier to sustain a reversal.
Cardano holds above $0.24, targets higher rangeCardano has staged a significant recovery after dropping to $0.195 earlier in September and now trades around $0.252. The breakout above the long-term moving average at $0.24 was a pivotal shift, turning prior resistance into the most critical support. Pullbacks have tested this area but have not established a prolonged breakdown.
Shorter-term moving averages have begun rising and now provide additional support between $0.21 and $0.23, reflecting an improved structure compared to earlier periods of declining prices. The immediate challenge lies between $0.26 and $0.265, a zone Cardano has approached on multiple occasions without a confirmed breakout. Overcoming this resistance could open a path toward $0.28, the level ADA traded at before the significant drop in June.
TokenCurrent PriceKey SupportKey ResistanceCardano (ADA)$0.252$0.24$0.26–$0.265As long as ADA maintains support above $0.24 and challenges $0.265, the short-term technical outlook remains constructive for further gains.
A move above $0.265 would clear recent local highs and potentially set Cardano on course for another leg higher, with $0.24 acting as the key line of defense for its recovery.
Aave’s rally accelerates, but correction risk risesAave has emerged as one of the top-performing large-cap tokens in the ongoing market recovery. The protocol’s token, AAVE, has surged to approximately $182, having reached an intraday high near $188. This represents a major turnaround from September, when it was largely stuck in a range between $120 and $140.
The token now trades well above all major moving averages, including a short-term support zone around $145. The volume accompanying the breakout past $150 was among the highest in recent months, supporting the strength of the move. Immediate resistance appears at $187 to $190, while the psychological $200 mark could become attainable if momentum persists.
However, the rapid rally has brought AAVE’s RSI near overbought territory. Having climbed more than 50% from its September low without a notable pullback, the asset faces elevated correction risk. Should selling pressure increase, $170 serves as the first area of support, followed by the previous breakout range at $155 to $160.
Aave is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform known for its non-custodial liquidity protocol, enabling users to lend and borrow a variety of cryptocurrencies via smart contracts.
TokenCurrent PriceKey SupportKey ResistanceAave (AAVE)$182$170$187–$190Bonk attempts early-stage recoveryBonk has climbed to approximately $0.00000382, establishing its strongest recovery attempt in several months. Unlike Aave, Bonk remains in the early stage of a potential reversal, having just moved above a medium-term moving average cluster spanning $0.0000031 to $0.0000035.
Price is currently holding above the slower orange average near $0.0000035, a zone that repeatedly capped previous recovery rallies. The next critical test for bulls sits at $0.0000040 to $0.0000042, which would need to be cleared decisively to bolster confidence in a sustainable trend reversal. If achieved, this could set the stage for a challenge near $0.0000048, where the declining long-term average is positioned.
The RSI has reached into the 60s, while volume appears to be strengthening alongside price gains. For now, $0.0000035 remains the key support. Losing this area could push Bonk back into its former consolidation zone.
Mini dictionary: Bonk is a meme coin on the Solana blockchain, often traded for its speculative momentum and volatility rather than for underlying utility or use cases.

Dogecoin (DOGE): DOGE holds a moderately bullish structure above $0.093 support, but it needs a decisive break above $0.100–$0.106 to confirm further upside.Cardano (ADA): ADA maintains its recovery above the critical $0.24 support, with a breakout beyond $0.26–$0.265 potentially opening the path toward $0.28.Aave (AAVE): AAVE remains in a strong uptrend after its rapid September breakout, with $187–$190 as immediate resistance and $170 as the first key support if momentum cools.Bonk (BONK): BONK's recovery is improving above $0.0000035, but the broader reversal remains unconfirmed until price clears $0.0000042 and eventually challenges the declining long-term average near $0.0000048.Dogecoin bulls challenge the resistanceDogecoin is attempting to turn its recent recovery into a broader trend reversal, with DOGE trading around $0.0954 after recovering sharply from its August lows near $0.069.
The most important development on the daily chart is DOGE's interaction with the long-term moving average around $0.093–$0.094.
DOGE/USDT Chart by TradingViewThis indicator had acted as resistance throughout the decline, but the late-September rally pushed DOGE decisively above it. Price has subsequently pulled back and is now consolidating almost directly above this level.
HOT Stories
That makes the current area particularly important. Holding $0.093 would strengthen the case that former resistance has turned into support. A breakdown below it, however, could expose the shorter-term moving average around $0.091, followed by the much stronger cluster around $0.085–$0.088.
You Might Also Like
On the upside, $0.100 remains the first major obstacle. DOGE briefly moved above this psychological level during the latest rally but failed to hold it, with a wick extending toward approximately $0.106. Consequently, a daily close above $0.100–$0.106 would provide much stronger confirmation of continuation.
Momentum remains moderately bullish. The RSI sits around the upper 50s rather than overbought territory, giving DOGE room for another attempt higher. For now, the structure favors bulls while $0.093 remains intact, but $0.100 is still the level that separates consolidation from another meaningful breakout.
Cardano's next testCardano is maintaining a considerably stronger short-term structure after climbing from approximately $0.195 to above $0.25 during the second half of September. ADA currently trades near $0.252, keeping most of the recent advance intact despite several unsuccessful attempts to extend beyond $0.26.
ADA/USDT Chart by TradingViewThe daily chart shows an important technical transition. ADA has broken above its long-term moving average around $0.24, which previously acted as resistance. Recent pullbacks have approached this area without producing a sustained breakdown, effectively turning $0.24 into the most important immediate support.
Shorter-term moving averages reinforce the improving structure. They are rising beneath the price, with support concentrated around $0.21–$0.23. This means ADA now has several layers of technical support below its current market price rather than trading beneath declining averages as it did earlier this year.

The immediate problem is $0.26–$0.265. Multiple candles have reached this area, but buyers have not established a convincing breakout. A move above $0.265 would clear the latest local highs and potentially open the route toward $0.28, where ADA traded before June's major decline.
The short-term setup therefore revolves around a relatively narrow range: $0.24 support against $0.26–$0.265 resistance. Holding above the former preserves the recovery structure, while clearing the latter would mark ADA's next significant technical breakout.
Aave's breakout potentialAave has become one of the strongest large-cap performers in the current market recovery, with AAVE extending its breakout to approximately $182 after reaching an intraday high near $188. The latest move represents a dramatic change from September, when the asset spent much of the month between $120 and $140.
AAVE/USDT Chart by TradingViewThe daily structure remains strongly bullish. AAVE has established a sequence of higher highs and higher lows, while price now trades far above all of the major moving averages shown on the chart. The short-term average has accelerated toward roughly $145, emphasizing just how quickly price has moved.
Volume provides additional confirmation. The breakout from $150 was accompanied by one of the largest daily volume spikes of recent months, and subsequent sessions have maintained elevated activity. This makes the advance considerably more convincing than a low-volume breakout.

The immediate obstacle is $187–$190, where the latest candle encountered resistance. Clearing this area would put the psychological $200 level within reach. However, the speed of the rally creates an obvious correction risk. The RSI is approaching overbought territory, while AAVE has gained more than 50% from its September lows without a substantial retracement.
If momentum weakens, $170 represents the first short-term support. Below it, the $155–$160 breakout region becomes considerably more important. As long as AAVE remains above these areas, the broader bullish structure stays intact.
Can Bonk recover further?Bonk is attempting to establish its strongest recovery structure in months after climbing to approximately $0.00000382. Unlike AAVE's already mature breakout, however, BONK remains in an earlier and considerably less certain stage of its reversal.
BONK/USDT Chart by TradingViewThe key technical development is BONK's move above the medium-term moving average cluster. Price has reclaimed the averages around $0.0000031–$0.0000035 and has now moved above the slower orange average near $0.0000035. Those levels had repeatedly limited previous recovery attempts.
The next challenge sits around $0.0000040–$0.0000042. BONK has already tested this region but has not produced a decisive daily breakout. Clearing it would strengthen the reversal considerably and could expose the $0.0000045–$0.0000049 region, where the long-term moving average is currently descending.
You Might Also Like
That long-term average remains the major problem for bulls. Despite the short-term recovery, it continues to slope downward near $0.0000048, meaning BONK has not yet fully reversed its broader bearish trend.
The RSI has climbed into the 60s without reaching heavily overbought territory, while recent upside moves have attracted stronger volume.
For now, $0.0000035 is the key support to preserve. Holding above it while breaking $0.0000042 would materially improve BONK's technical structure; losing it would return the token to its previous consolidation range.

Goldman Sachs has pushed back its forecast for the Federal Reserve's interest rate hike from October to December.
Goldman Sachs said Wednesday’s U.S. inflation data, paired with New York Fed President John Williams’ comments yesterday, has led the firm to now view an October Federal Reserve interest rate hike as unlikely. Economists Jan Hatzius, David Mericle, and Alec Phillips noted in a research report that, based on the latest inflation data, they project fourth-quarter core PCE year-over-year growth will reach 3.0%, well below the 3.4% median forecast from FOMC participants. The bank has thus pushed back its expectation for a second rate hike to December, and believes the FOMC has a high likelihood of ultimately determining no further rate increases are needed.

Developer of meme coin SI sold off 32% of the token’s supply, missing out on $15 million in potential profits.
Bubblemaps stated in a post that meme coin Super Inu (SI) was launched around the time former US President Donald Trump pushed to rebrand artificial intelligence as "Super Intelligence", and the token rallied rapidly after Trump publicly used the "SI" shorthand. On-chain data reveals wallet 9pkJqJ created SI, minting 20% of its total supply for itself, then acquired an additional 12% via eight other wallets, bringing its total holdings to 32% of the token’s supply. The wallet later sold all its SI for approximately $24,000; had it held onto the tokens, they would now be valued at around $15 million. The developer repurchased SI after selling prematurely, but by that point the token’s price had already surged.

US SEC plans to relax private investment thresholds, pushing retail investors to enter the private market.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Wednesday unveiled a series of reform proposals aimed at expanding individual investors’ access to private markets, enabling more retail investors to gain exposure to private equity, early-stage startups and other alternative assets. One proposal would allow registered investment advisors to charge performance fees of up to 20% based on fund performance, aligning the fee structure closer to the “2% management fee + 20% performance fee” model used by some hedge funds, in a bid to attract more private fund managers to serve individual investors. SEC Chair Paul Atkins stated that the commission aims to explore ways to expand individual investors’ participation in private markets while preventing fraud and misconduct. The SEC also proposed expanding the definition of an “accredited investor” to qualify more individuals with professional credentials, including certified public accountants (CPAs) and Chartered Financial Analysts (CFAs), as eligible investors.

Renowned crypto trader Bonk Guy noted in a post that market sentiment toward PONS may have hit a long-term low. Its comparable project PUMP currently has a market capitalization of around $2.7 billion, up 17% on the day. PONS generates annualized revenue of roughly $156.8 million, with a market cap of $375 million, corresponding to an annualized revenue multiple of approximately 2.39x. For PUMP, annualized revenue stands at $463.6 million, with a market cap of $2.7 billion, translating to an annualized revenue multiple of 5.82x. PUMP is a leading launchpad in the Solana ecosystem, while PONS is the dominant launchpad on Robinhood Chain. If Robinhood Chain sustains a certain level of ecosystem activity moving forward, the gap between PONS’ current valuation and its revenue scale may be worth noting.

Donald Trump is willing to offer Iran sanctions relief in exchange for "substantive progress" on the nuclear issue.
According to Al Jazeera, U.S. President Donald Trump is open to considering easing sanctions on Iran and unfreezing Iranian funds if "specific progress" is made on the Iran nuclear issue. U.S. officials said the U.S. and Iran are holding "positive and constructive" discussions via intermediaries, but no deal will be reached if the nuclear issue is not resolved. The official added that Iran has signaled some flexibility on the nuclear issue, though the two sides have yet to agree on the timeline for implementing relevant commitments. Trump previously rejected Iran’s proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, calling the plan "unacceptable." Trump said more talks with Iran are expected this week. Negotiations on the U.S. side are led by Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. U.S. Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz said Trump is skeptical of Iran’s proposals, believing Iran is demanding all its conditions be met before advancing further negotiations. White House officials also noted the U.S. is cautious about Iran’s commitments, citing Iran’s violation of the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding reached in July, which included attacks on commercial vessels. Analysis: The restaking 'gold rush' is ebbing, profits of Ethereum's leading protocols have shrunk sharply
As restaking yields continue to decline and smart contract risks rise, Ethereum’s leading liquid restaking protocol ether.fi is gradually exiting the restaking business and shifting to a "crypto neo-bank" model. Data shows that as of September 8, the restaking sector’s assets under management (AUM) stood at approximately $10.02 billion, generating only around $99,977 in fees over the past week. By contrast, liquid staking protocols manage roughly $51.87 billion in AUM and produced about $27.35 million in fees. Calculated per dollar of assets, fees from liquid staking are roughly 53 times higher than those from restaking. ether.fi CEO Mike Silagadze noted that restaking offers "no meaningful yield opportunities" while exposing users to additional risks, prompting the firm’s exit from the segment. As of August, less than 1% of ether.fi’s assets remained restaked via EigenLayer, with the company expected to fully sever related structural connections by the end of this year. Meanwhile, the five major liquid restaking protocols—Renzo, Kelp, Swell, Puffer Finance, and Bedrock—combined to generate around $953,000 in gross profit in Q2 2026, a sharp decline from the $2.18 million they earned over the prior three quarters. ether.fi has since pivoted its business focus to crypto neo-banking, including offerings such as crypto payment cards, lending markets, yield vaults, and tokenized stocks and metals.

Bonk Guy pumps MARSCOIN, claiming it could see 'explosive growth' in the fourth quarter.
Renowned crypto trader Bonk Guy has stated in a post that MarsCoin (MARSCOIN) features a "very clean" recent technical trend, indicating it could be primed for a significant rally in the fourth quarter. He noted that BNB and BNB Chain’s influence is growing in this cycle, while MarsCoin combines the "Elon Musk + CZ" concept alongside narratives like SPCX, with its fundamentals gradually taking shape. Bonk Guy also added that during the last cycle, he helped drive rallies for multiple Elon Musk-themed meme coins, with SHIB and DOGE once surpassing $40 billion and $80 billion in market cap respectively. He explained that this cycle, MarsCoin integrates Elon Musk, CZ and SPCX narratives, and Binance currently supports SPCX via its reward program, allocating a portion of trading fees to related incentives. As a result, the market may be underestimating MarsCoin’s future upside potential.

Tether labeled as 'financial lifeline' for the Iranian regime by US Senate Democrats
Democratic members of the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Intelligence (under the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs) released a report on September 28, accusing Tether’s stablecoin USDT of becoming a key funding channel for Iran’s shadow banking network, helping the Iranian government evade international sanctions. The report estimated that Iran processed roughly $20 billion in transactions via the relevant network last year, though it did not specify the exact amount involving USDT. It also alleged that Tether failed to freeze Iran-linked wallets in a timely manner—some freezing actions took weeks—and did not proactively block wallets suspected of illegal activity. The report noted that USDT has become an important financial lifeline for Iran’s shadow banking network. In response, Tether said the same day it had assisted in freezing nearly $550 million in Iran-related USDT, adding that it has maintained direct cooperation with law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and other countries to help identify and freeze illegal funds.
Renowned trader Bonk Guy said in a post that he is bullish on STONK and has recently bought a large amount of STONK ecosystem tokens. He believes the ecosystem has strong development potential and may perform well in the long run. However, Bonk Guy called on the STONK community to stop regarding all potentially competing projects as attempts to siphon the ecosystem. He noted that the only factor currently causing him pessimism about the STONK ecosystem is that influential participants within it are continuously promoting the narrative that "all competitors are siphons". This internal anti-competitive attitude is even more worrying than coordinated FUD targeting the STONK ecosystem from outside. He emphasized that the market can and will have multiple winners at the same time.

Cosmos Hub Recovers 1.227 Million ATOM from Neutron Attack, Funds Temporarily Held in 4/6 Multi-Signature Address
Cosmos Labs released a disclosure stating that on September 22, Neutron suffered a governance attack, resulting in the theft of liquidity from protocols including Astroport. Approximately 1.73 million ATOM were subsequently transferred by the attacker to the Cosmos Hub. The Cosmos Hub itself was not targeted in the attack, and user funds remained unharmed. To block the stolen ATOM from being further moved, Hub validators temporarily paused the network for roughly 24.5 hours, resuming block production on September 23 using the patched Gaia v28.3.0. Cosmos Labs added that during the pause, 1.227 million ATOM stayed in the attacker’s Hub address. Upon network recovery, these funds were transferred in a single operation to a 4/6 multi-sig address made up of Nansen, Keplr, Enigma, Silknodes, Kiln, and Polkachu. Earlier, around 500,000 ATOM had been swapped for ETH via THORChain and cannot be recovered. An additional 169,000 ATOM entered the attacker’s address via a THORChain refund after the network came back online, and were later transferred to Osmosis and sold. The multi-sig address currently holds approximately 1.227 million ATOM, which can only be returned following authorization via a Cosmos Hub governance proposal. The funds will not be staked, lent, or traded. The Neutron team is expected to submit a recovery plan and related governance proposal next week.

US CFTC sues Cash FX Group and its executives, alleging involvement in a $950 million foreign exchange Ponzi scheme.
On September 25, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced it had filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against Cash FX Group and its CEO Huascar Jose Lopez Castillo, The Conversion Pros and its CEO Ronald Pope, and Justin Halladay. The CFTC alleges the defendants operated a multi-level marketing Ponzi scheme, illegally raising over $950 million from the public including U.S. residents, claiming the funds would be used to trade retail foreign exchange contracts and promising weekly investment returns of up to 15%. According to the CFTC, Cash FX only conducted a small amount of actual forex trading, misappropriating nearly all participants’ funds. It used money from new participants to pay out fraudulent trading profits to other participants, while also paying millions of dollars to the defendants. The company maintained the fraud by providing false account statements. The CFTC states that participants have lost at least $406 million, and it is currently seeking to recover funds, forfeit illegal proceeds, impose civil penalties, secure trading and registration bans, and obtain permanent injunctions barring the defendants from further violating the Commodity Exchange Act and CFTC regulations.

Iran says it will not compromise on the nuclear issue, and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz still depends on the US meeting its conditions.
A senior Iranian official told Reuters that Iran will not make concessions on its nuclear program even if the U.S. accepts Iran’s proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The official added that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until the U.S. meets all of Iran’s conditions. Iranian Foreign Minister Al-Araghchi previously stated that Iran has put forward a seven-day plan, which includes ending hostilities in multiple regions, lifting the U.S. maritime blockade on Iranian ports, unfreezing frozen assets, and canceling oil sanctions, in return for reopening the critical waterway. Prominent crypto trader Bonk Guy has published a post addressing public skepticism over his long-term refusal to sell tokens, with some speculating his holdings may be linked to market makers or funds. He explained that holding high-conviction assets long-term is his trading strategy, adding he does not believe a token’s price rally requires it to be sold, and his holding period differs from that of other market participants. In the previous market cycle, some mainstream meme coins reached market caps of over $1 billion, while top-performing meme coins and protocols hit valuations of $4 billion to more than $5 billion. He anticipates the current cycle could deliver stronger performance, so he is in no rush to offload his core holdings right now. He noted that PONS is the highest-conviction utility token in his portfolio, with a current market cap of roughly $400 million; USELESS is his most favored meme coin, boasting a market cap of around $270 million. Both tokens have yet to reach a $1 billion market cap, and their valuations are significantly lower than those of leading projects in the previous cycle.

A ZEC whale sold too early on 139,600 ZEC tokens, missing out on over $110 million in potential profits.
According to TradingBeats monitoring, a ZEC whale previously sold 139,600 ZEC for a total of approximately $111 million. At today’s prices, this batch of ZEC is now worth around $223 million, meaning the whale missed out on over $110 million in potential gains in just four weeks. Earlier between August 26 and 27, a wallet cluster possibly linked to Sakolkorn Sakavee, co-founder and former chairman of Bitkub, continuously unshielded ZEC and transferred them to Hyperliquid. On August 26, the cluster unshielded 34,100 ZEC (valued at ~$26.1 million), then sold 24,100 ZEC and bought 238 BTC. As of August 27, the cluster had cumulatively unshielded 65,820 ZEC (~$51.6 million), accounting for ~0.4% of ZEC’s circulating supply and 1.37% of currently shielded ZEC. It had sold 53,900 ZEC (~$42.3 million) and purchased 536.7 BTC, with 8,370 ZEC remaining on order to sell on Hyperliquid. Today, the 139,600 ZEC previously sold by the related wallets has risen sharply in value since the sale, leading to missed potential gains of over $110 million.

Rising oil prices in the U.S. are impacting job choices: 65% of job seekers are now prioritizing positions with low commuting costs.
Fortune cited a new survey from recruitment platform Monster, stating that 65% of potential job changers in the U.S. are adjusting their job search priorities to cut commuting costs amid rising U.S. oil prices. Among them, 23% are prioritizing jobs closer to their homes, 17% are focusing more on salaries to offset higher commuting expenses, and another 20% are prioritizing fully remote positions. The survey shows commuting costs have become a key factor leading U.S. job seekers to turn down job offers. Among over 1,000 employed Americans surveyed, 49% said they have rejected job opportunities due to high commuting costs or excessively long commute times, while 75% noted that work-life balance has grown more important amid rising cost of living. For an additional 20-minute commute, 32% of respondents said they would need at least a 20% pay raise to accept it, 10% would require a 10% raise, 11% would accept a longer commute via more flexible work arrangements or hybrid work, and another 9% want employers to reimburse part of their fuel costs. Meanwhile, U.S. gasoline prices continue to climb. The current average price for regular gasoline in the U.S. is nearly $4.50 per gallon, mid-grade gasoline exceeds $5, and diesel prices top $6.50; Brent crude oil has risen to around $105 per barrel. The oil price hike is mainly driven by supply disruptions in the Middle East and shipping risks in the Strait of Hormuz. Fortune pointed out that as energy costs keep rising, U.S. companies may need to offer higher salaries, provide hybrid work options, or cover commuting costs to attract employees to accept longer commutes.

Ethena expands its USDe reserve strategy to include Binance’s tokenized stocks and stock perpetual contracts.
Ethena is expanding the basis trading strategy underpinning its USDe stablecoin, adding Binance’s bStocks tokenized U.S. equities as spot collateral assets and using Binance’s stock perpetual contracts to hedge related exposures. Ethena’s Risk Committee has previously approved the inclusion of tokenized stock basis trading in USDe’s allocation strategy. Previously, Ethena built USDe’s delta-neutral yield strategy primarily by holding crypto asset spot positions and using derivatives for hedging. Data shows that USDe’s current circulating supply stands at around $4.9 billion. Ethena noted that Binance’s stock perpetual contracts currently have an open interest of over $2.9 billion, with a monthly compound growth rate of 105% year-to-date, and an average annualized stock basis yield of 3.56% over the past six months. Ethena founder Guy Young stated that this is the most significant expansion to USDe’s funding mechanism since its launch. Ethena anticipates that as more traditional financial assets are tokenized on-chain, the stock perpetual contract market will likely see opportunities that far exceed those of the crypto perpetual contract market in the future.

US-Iran Negotiations Aim to Restart Hormuz, With Both Sides Discussing Phased Arrangements
According to sources close to the US-Iran negotiations, US and Iranian negotiators are discussing a staged solution in New York, which includes Iran reopening shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz and the US lifting economic sanctions on Iran. Insiders say the Strait of Hormuz has become a core bargaining chip in ending the nearly seven-month-long US-Iran conflict. Iran, which has recognized the economic pressure from prolonged confrontation, is considering a phased arrangement: the first step could be resuming shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, while the US eases economic sanctions, and Iran may get partial unfreezing of its frozen assets. However, neither side is willing to give up its bargaining chip first, which has become the biggest obstacle to the negotiations. Iranian officials said Tehran is more focused on lifting sanctions rather than insisting on collecting tolls for the Strait of Hormuz in the agreement. Regional sources said Iran may include the toll demand in an annex rather than as part of the main agreement, but this does not mean it is abandoning its position on the Strait's management rights. Analysts believe the US hopes to force Iran to make concessions through pressure, while Iran wants to have pressure lifted first before making commitments. Dennis Ross, a former US Iran negotiator, said the probability of reaching an agreement before the November midterm elections is limited, but both sides have incentives to push forward negotiations ahead of the elections, as reopening the Strait of Hormuz could ease tensions in the Gulf and reduce oil price pressures. Currently, Gulf countries hope to restore shipping freedom and prevent the strategic waterway from becoming a long-term tool for gamesmanship, while pushing the US and Iran to de-escalate through diplomacy.

Multicoin: On-chain Real World Assets (RWA) will usher in the DeFi 2.0 era, with order books and request-for-quote (RFQ) models set to replace Automated Market Makers (AMMs) as the dominant mechanism.
Crypto venture firm Multicoin Capital’s co-head of venture investments, Spencer Applebaum, has published a lengthy article titled “DeFi 2.0”. In the piece, Applebaum notes that early DeFi primitives—automated market makers (AMMs), overcollateralized lending, variable-rate liquidity pools, and perpetual swaps—were designed for high-volatility crypto assets like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). However, real-world assets (RWAs) such as government bonds, stocks, and commodities have lower volatility, generate cash flows, and feature identifiable borrowers. Institutional players prioritize execution quality, tenure, and credit, so the same set of primitives cannot be rigidly applied to RWA use cases. Applebaum argues that DeFi 2.0 needs to add capabilities including order books or Request for Quote (RFQ) systems, fixed-rate and term lending, interest rate derivatives, options and structured products, repos and dark pools, portfolio margin, and revenue splitting. Tokenization is only the first step; value will accrue to public blockchain block space, core primitive fees, brokerage aggregation layers, and application order flow. As RWA scales, these primitives—“long-existing but ill-suited for the asset types”—will finally gain genuine market traction.

Genius Terminal Co-Founder Responds to S2 Points Controversy: Rules Are Adjustable, Personal Tokens Will Not Be Unlocked Before Users’ Tokens
Ryan Myher, co-founder of Genius Terminal, responded to the controversy over Genius’ adjustment to its Season 2 points rules, stating: “Genius is essentially a terminal for trading crypto assets, and points are just additional benefits users may earn when trading on the platform. Every user who trades on Genius has agreed to our airdrop terms; if you’ve been using it since Season 1, you’ve actually agreed twice. You cannot use the platform without accepting these terms. Points are inherently additional benefits, so the rules will be adjusted based on actual circumstances. Recently, the terminal’s trading volume has dipped, so daily points distributions have decreased. One guarantee: individual tokens will not unlock before user tokens.” Earlier on the 24th, news broke that Genius—an on-chain trading terminal backed by YZi Labs—has revised its Season 2 points campaign. The community alleges the campaign originally promised to unlock 70 million GENIUS tokens on October 25 to incentivize trading and points accumulation. Official documentation previously specified Season 2 would run from April 10 to August 10, with 1.5 million points distributed daily; recent updates to relevant pages have removed the “April 10 to August 10” timeframe from current docs, and daily points have been cut to 50,000. CoinMarketCap data shows the unlock timeline for these 70 million tokens has been delayed to February 2028. Some participants are demanding either unlocks at the original date or refunds for Season 2-related fees.

Anthropic’s CEO: The company will slow down its AI development pace due to safety concerns.
Beating AI News: Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei warned at the UN Security Council that without effective governance, AI could pose existential risks to all humanity, and called on countries to establish global AI safety standards. Amodei, who attended the Security Council meeting via video on Wednesday, said AI could be used by malicious actors to develop bioweapons, and may eventually evolve into an uncontrolled system beyond developers’ control. For safety reasons, Anthropic will slow down its AI R&D pace. Amodei also called for the establishment of an AI safety certification framework and pushed for global regulatory cooperation, urging nations to coordinate efforts to prevent AI from being used in bioweapons. He emphasized that no single leader, company, or country can address the challenges posed by AI alone. Additionally, Amodei noted that AI is driving progress in the life sciences: Anthropic’s Claude has contributed to the discovery of a new enzyme system with CRISPR-like DNA repeats, though related technologies could also carry catastrophic risks. This statement follows the AI safety proposal Amodei put forward earlier this month. Both Anthropic and OpenAI are at the core of competition in cutting-edge AI models, and their R&D pace and safety policies have drawn close attention from investors and regulators.

TSMC to raise wafer foundry prices by 3% to 6% starting next year, with order visibility extending to 2030.
TSMC has confirmed it will adjust wafer fabrication prices starting January 2027 based on process nodes, with an overall increase of 3% to 6%. Advanced processes such as 2nm and 3nm will see the highest hikes, while mature and specialty processes will be priced on a case-by-case basis depending on products, capacity utilization rates, and customer conditions. Currently, TSMC’s 8-inch wafer fabs are operating at over 100% capacity utilization, with processes below 45nm running at full capacity, and some order visibility extending as far as 2030. AI data center expansion is not only driving sustained demand for GPUs, ASICs, and HBM, but also boosting orders for mature-process chips including PMICs, MCUs, MOSFETs, and analog ICs. Supply chain sources note that 2nm and 3nm capacity remains tight, while capacity bottlenecks for advanced packaging like CoWoS have not been fully resolved, making it difficult for customers to avoid price hikes by switching suppliers in the short term. The price adjustment is also expected to ripple out to other foundries including Samsung Electronics, Intel, UMC, and Vanguard International Semiconductor (VIS), as well as sectors such as packaging and testing, and IC design. Industry insiders point out that growing demand for chips including power management units, network communication, and optical communication from AI servers has caused AI demand to spill over from advanced to mature processes, driving a rebound in capacity utilization for mature processes that previously faced weak supply-demand balances, and strengthening foundries’ bargaining power. Additionally, the heavy capital expenditure and cost pressures from TSMC’s overseas fab construction are also among the factors behind the price hike. Supply chain sources forecast that the 2027 wafer foundry price hikes may further push up costs across sectors including packaging and testing, substrates, materials, and memory.

Bitcoin breaks through $80,000, backed by institutional funds; analysts hold divergent views on the sustainability of this rally.
Bitcoin recently broke through $80,000 and hit a high of $87,300. Analysts note the current rally is backed by strong inflows from institutional capital and spot Bitcoin ETFs, but metrics including trading volume, market breadth, and derivatives positions have sparked debate over whether the uptrend can sustain. K33 points out that Bitcoin’s recent pullback in both magnitude and duration is significantly smaller than those during major bear markets in 2013, 2017, and 2021, suggesting the current cycle’s low may have already been established. The firm also adds that Bitcoin still has catch-up potential relative to gold and U.S. equities. 21Shares attributes the crypto market’s regulatory tailwinds to the U.S. SEC’s “innovation exemption” and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) advancing relevant rulemaking. K33 further notes that fading uncertainties—such as the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decisions and the vote on the CLARITY Act—also helped drive the market’s breakout. However, Nexo takes a cautious stance, highlighting that recent declines in trading volume, narrowing rally breadth, and rising derivatives leverage could expose Bitcoin to risks of profit-taking or a temporary correction. Capital.com’s analysts identify the $87,000–$88,000 range as the near-term resistance zone; a breakout would target $90,000 next, while key support levels to watch are $84,000–$85,000 and $80,000. Fundstrat founder Tom Lee claims the crypto bull market has already begun, citing drivers including the reflow of AI capital back into crypto markets, improved crypto fundamentals such as tokenization and AI integration, and the end of Bitcoin’s four-year cycle.

US SEC Commissioner Uyeda: Dropping some crypto lawsuits to avoid harming the regulator’s credibility
US SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda stated that the agency has dropped several cryptocurrency cases inherited from the previous administration. The reason is that continuing to defend legal interpretations set to be overturned in court could harm the SEC’s credibility. Uyeda noted that as the SEC prepares to make a "180-degree shift" in its relevant legal interpretations, he does not want the agency’s litigation attorneys to keep defending its prior stance in court. He added that sticking to positions ultimately set to be overturned would "damage the SEC’s reputation". Furthermore, Uyeda referred to the SEC’s "innovation exemption" for tokenized securities as a "pilot program", arguing that this mechanism could create "significant potential opportunities" for new market entrants and traditional financial institutions.

Visa Survey: Americans’ Willingness to Use Stablecoins Rises to 56% With Bank-Level Guarantees
Visa’s “Money Travels 2026” report reveals that if stablecoins offer bank-equivalent fraud protection and deposit insurance, U.S. consumers’ willingness to use stablecoins for cross-border transfers will climb from 36% to 56%. The survey identifies stablecoin awareness as a major barrier: 56% of U.S. respondents said they have never heard of stablecoins. When stablecoins are offered by existing financial service providers, that willingness rises to 45%; 61% of respondents said they would trust traditional banks to provide digital currency services, while 60% would trust global payment networks. Visa notes that stablecoins currently do not carry FDIC deposit insurance, adding that the data is based solely on hypothetical scenarios and does not mean such protections are imminent. Conducted by Morning Consult between February 24 and March 2, the survey covered 45,445 people across 20 markets, including 2,192 U.S. adults. In Latin America, willingness to use stablecoins for cross-border transfers jumps from 34% to 74% when the relevant protections are in place.

Huobi HTX Chief Analyst Cloud: Bitcoin’s rebound has seen spot buying stepping in, with its sustainability hinging on ETF inflows and leverage levels.
Huobi HTX Chief Analyst Cloud noted that Bitcoin bottomed out amid dual pressures of interest rate hikes and stalled legislative clarity, then rebounded rapidly, gaining roughly 16% in a week. On September 21, its intraday price rose to $87,307 (Huobi HTX spot price), marking a new high since January. This rally was driven by three factors: U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a single-day net inflow of about $1 billion on September 21, the largest such daily inflow this year; short positions worth around $650 million were liquidated within 24 hours; and falling oil prices cooled inflation expectations. Unlike last week’s rebound dominated by passive covering, this week saw spot buying take the lead. Whether the rally can sustain depends on two points: whether ETF inflows can shift from a one-day pulse to a continuous trend, and whether leverage can remain at a non-overheated level. Currently, the funding rate is around 0.01%, sitting in the neutral range, but Bitcoin’s derivatives open interest has rebounded to over $61 billion. If market sentiment weakens, high leverage will amplify drawdowns. Market sentiment has entered the extreme greed zone, a historical precursor to short-term trend reversals. On the technical front, $87,500 is the immediate resistance level, while the first support zone ranges from $84,000 to $85,000. The trend has conditions to continue, but the phase of peak sentiment also brings the highest short-term volatility risk. Wall Street traders are boosting hedges to guard against the Federal Reserve raising interest rates by less than expected.
Current interest rate swap pricing shows markets expect the Federal Reserve to deliver three 25-basis-point rate hikes by June next year. Some traders worry actual hikes could be fewer, a scenario dubbed a "shallow rate hike cycle," so they are adding protective positions via Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR)-linked options. Over the past week, demand for put options on March 2027 SOFR contracts has risen sharply, indicating traders are hedging against the risk of a less hawkish Fed. Analysts note that rising oil prices amid Iran-related conflicts and long-term U.S. Treasury yields breaking above 5%—viewed by some as a "tax" on economic growth—may ultimately limit the Fed’s room for rate hikes. If an economic slowdown pairs with easing Middle East tensions, the Fed may end up hiking fewer times than currently priced in by markets.

Aikido prunes one-third of the experts from GLM-5.3 to build a local security model.
Beating AI Express News: Belgian cybersecurity firm Aikido has launched its first open-source security model, Altar-1. The model compresses Z.ai’s GLM-5.3 into a version optimized for security use cases. Enterprises can deploy it on their own servers, even in fully offline environments, for code audits and penetration testing—eliminating the need to share source code or unpatched vulnerabilities with external third-party models. Aikido first converted GLM-5.3 to an INT4 quantized version, then applied Cerebras’ REAP method to prune 88 of its 256 routing experts, a 34.4% cut. The model’s size shrank from 1.51TB (full precision) to 328GB, 32.8% smaller than the quantized GLM-5.3’s 488GB footprint. The official recommends deploying Altar-1 on 4 H200 GPUs, with performance largely preserved post-compression. In Aikido’s internal 32-CVE test, Altar-1 posted an average single-round recall rate of 60.4%, versus 61.5% for the quantized GLM-5.3. Over three consecutive test rounds, both models detected at least 23 vulnerabilities once, while the full-precision GLM-5.3 found 25. Strictly speaking, Altar-1 is currently a GLM-5.3 pruned specifically for security scenarios. Aikido clarified that no new security-specific capabilities were trained in this iteration; work on security workflow fine-tuning, tool integration, and long-range inference training is still ongoing. NIST’s CAISI previously rated the base GLM-5.3 as the open-source model with the strongest cybersecurity capabilities to date, though its overall performance lags behind current leading U.S. models by approximately four months.

Hoffman did not reveal VVV’s specific entry price. Using its May 21 price of $15.99 as an estimate, VVV now trades at $25.27, marking a ~58% gain. Over the same period, ETH rose from around $2127.47 to $2473.23, a ~16% increase. All five altcoins in Hoffman’s prior allocation significantly outperformed ETH during the period.

UNI breaks through $7.3; Uniswap founder says v4 pools are a new gateway for compliant on-chain US stock trading.
According to HTX market data, UNI has surged past $7.3, gaining over 15.6% in the 24-hour period. Today, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams stated that for Automated Market Makers (AMMs), the most critical point is not the main text of the SEC’s "innovation exemption" but the accompanying opinion from Commissioner Hester Peirce. This means the general permissionless Uniswap is not included in this regulatory sandbox and does not need to apply for an exemption in the first place. The exemption applies to permissioned liquidity pools on Uniswap v4, a path that can be chosen when assets and users require compliant channels. Hayden Adams believes that permissioned Uniswap v4 pools are the new entry point for compliant on-chain US stock trading.

Artificial Inu (AI) hits an all-time high market cap of over $360 million, surging 32.1% in 24 hours.
According to GMGN data, the crypto meme coin Artificial Inu (AI) on the Robinhood Chain has hit a new all-time high, with its market cap exceeding $360 million, a 24-hour gain of 32.1%, and trading volume of $23.9 million. Artificial Inu was launched via Long.xyz, a launchpad on the Robinhood Chain, and uses tokenized Nvidia stock as its liquidity pool, with liquidity provided via the AI/NVDA trading pair. BlockBeats Note: Stock Meme is an emerging concept that combines traditional meme coins with tokenized U.S. stocks. Unlike standard meme coins that pair with USDT or ETH, Stock Memes are directly paired with on-chain U.S. stock tokens (such as NVDA, TSLA, AAPL, etc.). This model retains meme coins’ high volatility and community-driven speculative traits while leveraging the popularity and narratives of real stocks. A portion of transaction fees is typically funneled back to the community treasury to accumulate the corresponding U.S. stock tokens, forming a dual-driven model of "sentiment-driven speculation + real asset anchoring". BlockBeats reminds users that token prices are highly volatile, so investment should be approached with caution.

Backpack platform’s token BP surges past $0.53, with a more than 18.4% gain in the last 24 hours.
According to HTX market data, Backpack’s platform token BP has surged past $0.53, logging a more than 18.4% gain in the past 24 hours. The price movement is mainly driven by news that the SEC has approved limited trading of tokenized stocks on on-chain platforms. On July 10 this year, Backpack announced the launch of a 24/7 real US stock trading market for international investors, allowing eligible users to trade and hold actual US stocks around the clock rather than synthetic derivatives. Backpack stated that the platform provides actual equity ownership, leverages liquidity from traditional trading platforms, and supports instant settlement, continuous price discovery, as well as fiat and stablecoin settlements.

Shiba Inu, Pepe and Bonk remain among the largest memecoins behind Dogecoin. Their setups heading into 2027 are different.
SHIB is building utility through Shibarium, PEPE depends mainly on cultural momentum, and BONK is tied closely to Solana’s DeFi ecosystem. The strongest choice depends on what drives the next memecoin cycle.
At last, one new memecoin presale with AI integration is getting all the attention from the smart money for its utility and uniqueness. Experts believe, a $1,500 purchase at MemeToro’s Stage 7 rate would secure about 348,837 $MT before network or processor fees.
At the displayed launch target of $0.05186, the estimated paper value would be approximately $18,091, giving the position a multiple of around 12.06 times.
Shiba Inu Builds Around Shibarium Utility Shiba Inu has moved beyond its original meme-only identity by developing Shibarium. This Layer-2 network is intended to support decentralized applications, token transfers and other ecosystem activity.
SHIB also benefits from a large holder base and years of exchange liquidity. These factors can reduce some of the thin-market problems faced by new memecoins.
Its challenge is turning Shibarium activity into lasting demand for SHIB. A busy network does not automatically raise the token price unless users need the asset for transactions, rewards or other functions.
Compared with PEPE and BONK, SHIB offers the broadest utility story. It may therefore have the strongest setup if 2027 traders reward infrastructure and existing communities.
However, its larger market value means it needs substantial capital to produce a major percentage gain.
Pepe and Bonk Follow Different Growth Paths PEPE remains a culture-led asset. It gained attention through strong trading activity and reportedly delivered a 65% rally earlier in 2026.
Its simple structure can help the token respond quickly when speculative demand returns. It also means PEPE depends more heavily on attention, exchange liquidity and social momentum than on a growing application ecosystem.
BONK has a closer connection with Solana. It appears across lending pools, yield farms, rewards and other decentralized finance tools.
This gives BONK more ecosystem integration than a basic memecoin. Its performance may still depend on Solana activity and whether users continue interacting with BONK-based products.
PEPE may lead during a pure meme rally, while BONK may perform better when Solana DeFi expands. Neither setup guarantees gains.
Where MemeToro Fits Into the Comparison MemeToro represents a different layer of the memecoin market. Rather than building around one fixed meme, it is developing an AI launchpad for creating and discovering new BNB Chain tokens.
Its AI agent collects market, news and social signals before preparing a documented proposal. Fixed validators check the evidence, supply allocation and funding rules before allowing the draft to move forward.
MemeToro is also planning memecoin trading, staking, prediction markets and a dashboard connected through the $MT token. This gives it a wider infrastructure role if the platform reaches full deployment.
The project has published 1,373 lines of fair-launch code across 17 files. Its escrow draft blocks private insider allocations and restricts funds to refunds or liquidity execution.
$MT remains in Stage 7 at $0.00430, while the displayed $0.05186 launch price is a project target rather than a guarantee.
Which Memecoin Has the Strongest 2027 Setup? Each token leads in a different category:
SHIB offers the largest utility expansion through Shibarium. PEPE has strong cultural recognition and speculative trading appeal. BONK benefits from deep integration across Solana applications. MemeToro offers early exposure to developing memecoin infrastructure. SHIB may have the most balanced legacy setup because it combines brand recognition with an active network strategy. PEPE could react fastest if pure meme speculation dominates, while BONK may benefit most from strong Solana growth.
MemeToro is not yet a legacy memecoin and should not be measured by the same live-market record. Users can buy $MT through the official presale portal using BNB, ETH, supported stablecoins or card.
The 2027 winner will depend on whether traders favor established communities, viral culture, DeFi integration or the launch platforms supporting the next generation of memecoins.
