Hong Kong broker Futu Securities has launched direct deposits and withdrawals of BNB tokens via the BNB Smart Chain network, opening a legal gateway for the digital asset to its multimillion-user platform.
Previously, users of the Futubull and moomoo brands could trade BNB only within the company's closed loop. Now qualified investors can directly move the real token between their external wallets and Futu brokerage accounts.
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) promptly reacted to the integration by publishing an announcement on his official page on the social network X.

The entire technical side of the operations is provided by the PantherTrade platform, a Futu subsidiary licensed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). Access to on-chain transactions is limited to professional investors with capital of at least 8 million Hong Kong dollars (~$1 million).
To comply with AML standards, external wallet addresses undergo preliminary verification through "whitelists," and withdrawal processing takes up to three business days.
What is happening in Hong Kong itself (a multibillion-dollar crypto hub is being built there)This step coincided with the large-scale digitalization of Hong Kong's financial sector in October 2026. Banking conglomerate HSBC officially launched the RedCoin (RCHKD) stablecoin, pegged to the local currency, inside the PayMe payment app for 3.3 million users, while the Anchorpoint Financial consortium led by Standard Chartered continues the rollout of the HKDAP stablecoin.
At the same time, the region's government completed its fourth issuance of digital "green" bonds worth 20 billion Hong Kong dollars, settled in tokenized deposits. According to Secretary for Financial Services Christopher Hui, the volume of digitized capital on the region's bank balance sheets has already reached 29 billion Hong Kong dollars.

The market is being accelerated by the authorities' tough stance: the new dedicated law, which will be submitted to the Legislative Council by the end of the year, provides for no transition periods — platforms without a VATP license will be required to cease operations in the region immediately.
In this regulatory race, BNB's direct access to the audience of a NASDAQ-listed broker gives the ecosystem a sustainable positional advantage. Although competitors from Solana are also expanding their presence in the region — including the listing of a second spot Solana ETF by Pando — it is BNB, through Futu's channels, that has secured the most direct access to the capital of traditional Asian investors.
BNB Chain handled 1.51 billion transactions in the third quarter, or about 16.4 million per day. That works out to a lot of activity for a network that had fewer people using it than in the previous quarter.
The figures come from Blockworks’ Q3 2026 Token Holder Report. They describe a chain where fewer wallets did more work, and where tokenized stocks went from side project to headline act.
The numbers behind the quarter
Start with throughput. The 1.51 billion transactions marked a 7.5% increase from Q2, when the network recorded 1.41 billion.
Trading in tokenized equities and real-world assets on BNB Chain reached $25.6 billion in Q3. In Q2, that figure was $2.4 billion, which makes the jump roughly 11-fold.
Decentralized exchange activity drove most of that volume. According to Blockworks, BNB Chain captured over half of all tracked tokenized-asset trading volume during the quarter.
Broader DEX numbers also moved up. Spot DEX volume rose 28% to $75.7 billion, while lending deposits climbed 42% to $3.57 billion.
Revenue climbs faster than usage
BNB Chain’s network revenue equivalent value, which Blockworks calls REV, grew 54% quarter over quarter to $54.2 million.
That total breaks into two pieces. Transaction fees contributed $49.1 million, and miner extractable value payments added $5.1 million.
Average transaction fees rose 43% to $0.032. Net income for token holders grew 57% to $45.1 million. Blockworks attributed the increase to firmer demand for BNB Chain’s blockspace.
Fewer wallets, heavier users
Daily active addresses averaged 2.10 million in Q3, down 14% from Q2.
Average transactions per address rose from 6.3 to 7.8, meaning the remaining users were considerably more active.
The Pasteur upgrade
The Pasteur hard fork went live on August 25, 2026. Pasteur targeted block-building efficiency. According to Blockworks, it lifted gas delivered per block by 28%.

Nasdaq-listed Futu has enabled BNB deposits and withdrawals for eligible professional investors in Hong Kong via BNB Smart Chain, following its July BNB trading launch.
Nasdaq-listed brokerage Futu has opened $BNB deposits and withdrawals for eligible professional investors in Hong Kong, allowing clients to move the token between self-custody wallets and Futu crypto accounts over @BNBCHAIN.
The change was announced on October 23, according to Crypto Briefing. It was rolled out through Futu Securities International (Hong Kong) Limited, the group's Hong Kong subsidiary. @cz_binance shared the news, noting that Futu also operates as moomoo in markets including the US and Japan.
How BNB transfers on Futu workTransfers run on BNB Smart Chain using the BEP20 token standard. Deposits flow from a user's self-custody wallet into a Futu crypto account. Withdrawals carry more checks: Crypto Briefing reports that Futu only sends BNB to addresses that have been verified and whitelisted in advance, and that withdrawals typically finish processing by 6:00 PM HKT on the third business day.
Futu is not charging extra platform fees for BNB transactions until further notice, though withdrawals carry a network fee of roughly 0.000055 BNB, per the same report. The service is limited to professional investors, a category in Hong Kong with high-net-worth thresholds. One example cited is a portfolio worth HK$8 million.
Until now, BNB could only be traded inside Futu's platform. U.Today noted that users of the Futubull and moomoo brands could previously trade BNB only within the company's closed loop. Eligible investors can now move the token directly between external wallets and their brokerage accounts.
Building on July's BNB trading launchThe deposit and withdrawal feature follows Futu's earlier BNB move. In July, Futu Securities International (Hong Kong) began offering BNB spot trading to eligible professional investors. According to an announcement relayed by PANews and shown on Futubull's company page, it was the first licensed brokerage in Hong Kong to offer BNB order-book trading pairs. Futu said the listing relied on PantherTrade, its self-built virtual asset platform, which lists tokens in line with Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) standards.
PantherTrade (Hong Kong) Limited received its SFC virtual asset trading platform licence on 27 January 2025, according to Hong Kong Crypto's review of the platform. Futu has said it intends to keep aligning with the SFC's regulatory roadmap and add more mainstream cryptocurrencies within a compliant framework.
For BNB, the update gives it a more direct on-chain link to a regulated broker with a large retail user base in Asia, though access remains restricted to professional investors for now.

Futubull: Futu Holdings (FUTU) news
Futu Securities, a major Hong Kong-based brokerage, has enabled direct deposits and withdrawals of BNB tokens via the BNB Smart Chain network, offering a compliant route for millions of local investors to access the digital asset.
Direct BNB transfers via regulated gatewayThis move marks a significant change for users of Futu’s platforms, Futubull and moomoo, who previously were limited to trading BNB only within the firm’s closed ecosystem. Now, approved investors can seamlessly transfer BNB tokens between their personal wallets and Futu brokerage accounts, bridging the gap between decentralized crypto holdings and regulated financial services.
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao acknowledged the integration, sharing the announcement on his official X account. Market observers noted that this link between BNB and a top licensed broker could enhance BNB’s legitimacy among traditional investors in Asia.
PantherTrade, a subsidiary of Futu licensed by Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), facilitates all on-chain BNB transactions. According to company guidelines, only professional investors with a minimum of 8 million Hong Kong dollars (approximately $1 million) in capital are eligible for this service.
Withdrawals and deposits will undergo compliance checks, including whitelist verification of external wallets to satisfy anti-money laundering requirements. The firm stated that withdrawals would typically be processed within three business days, reflecting standard industry safeguards.
BNB’s direct connection to a top NASDAQ-listed broker creates an advantage in the race for digital asset adoption among traditional investors, while competitors like Solana also seek to expand in this market.
Integration aligns with Hong Kong’s digital finance pushThe announcement arrives during a period of accelerated digitalization in Hong Kong’s financial industry. In October 2026, the city saw several developments pushing the boundaries of digital assets as mainstream financial tools. HSBC launched the RedCoin (RCHKD) stablecoin, linked to the Hong Kong dollar, accessible to its 3.3 million PayMe app users. Meanwhile, the Anchorpoint Financial consortium, led by Standard Chartered, continues to roll out the HKDAP stablecoin, adding further competition in the stablecoin sector.
Hong Kong’s government also issued its fourth round of digital green bonds, valued at 20 billion Hong Kong dollars, using tokenized settlements. Secretary for Financial Services Christopher Hui reported that the total value of digitalized assets now stands at 29 billion Hong Kong dollars across local banking balance sheets.
Authorities are accelerating market reforms with strict policies. A new law, set for submission to the Legislative Council by year-end, will impose immediate consequences on platforms operating without a Virtual Asset Trading Platform (VATP) license, requiring them to cease their Hong Kong operations promptly and leaving no room for grace periods.
Given the speed and unpredictability of regulatory changes—such as abrupt policy decisions or surprise altcoin listings—investors are increasingly prioritizing real-time data tools. In a market where a single Fed decision or a sudden altcoin listing can change everything in seconds, jumping between different apps for charts, news, and portfolio tracking is costing investors money. Smart traders are now utilizing privacy-first tools like CryptoAppsy to consolidate everything. Without even the hassle of creating an account, you get real-time charts, smart price alerts, coin-specific news, and critical macro data all on one screen.
Competition and future outlookRival networks such as Solana are also bolstering their visibility in Hong Kong, evidenced by the launch of a second spot Solana ETF by asset manager Pando. However, BNB now enjoys a distinctive edge by offering regulated, direct access through Futu, a NASDAQ-listed broker with deep connections to Asia’s investor base.
With institutional interest growing and new regulatory frameworks taking shape, direct BNB access through trusted financial intermediaries is expected to influence how professional investors approach digital assets in the region.
Access to on-chain BNB through Futu is available exclusively to investors meeting Hong Kong’s professional investor standard, reflecting the region’s focus on regulated digital asset adoption.

In BriefShiba Inu (SHIB): trades near $0.00000508 under bearish pressure, with resistance at $0.00000530–$0.00000550 and support at $0.00000500.Dogecoin (DOGE): trades around $0.07958 in an extended downtrend, with resistance at $0.0850–$0.0880 and support near $0.0780.XRP: trades around $1.3045 below its descending long-term moving average near $1.38, with support at $1.30 and resistance at $1.35.Binance Coin (BNB): trades near $743.70 above its longer-term trend indicators, with support at $710–$720 and resistance at $750–$760.Shiba Inu (SHIB) Bearish Pressure Caps RecoveryShiba Inu (SHIB) continues to face bearish pressure on the daily chart, with the token trading near $0.00000508 after failing to preserve its recent recovery. The broader market structure remains vulnerable, characterized by lower highs and persistent resistance from important moving averages.
SHIB/USDT Chart by TradingViewThe immediate resistance zone lies between $0.00000530 and $0.00000550, where several short-term moving averages converge. A sustained breakout above this area could encourage buyers to challenge $0.00000580, followed by the psychologically crucial $0.00000600 level. However, the descending long-term moving average continues to reinforce the wider bearish outlook.

On the downside, $0.00000500 represents immediate psychological support. Losing this level could expose SHIB to further declines toward $0.00000470 and $0.00000450.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) remains below the neutral 50 level, suggesting that bearish momentum still dominates despite signs of stabilization. Trading volume has also moderated following earlier volatility, indicating limited buying conviction. Unless SHIB reclaims its nearby moving averages with stronger volume, the token could remain vulnerable to renewed selling pressure. A decisive move above $0.00000550 might offer an initial indication that short-term sentiment is improving.
Dogecoin (DOGE) Extended Downtrend PersistsDogecoin (DOGE) remains under significant selling pressure, trading around $0.07958 on the daily chart as bearish momentum continues to dominate. The cryptocurrency has experienced an extended downtrend throughout 2025, with repeated recovery attempts failing to establish sustained upward momentum. Its recent rejection near $0.1000 reinforced the prevailing bearish structure, pushing DOGE below several crucial moving averages.
DOGE/USDT Chart by TradingViewThe immediate resistance zone stands between $0.0850 and $0.0880, where short- and medium-term moving averages are clustered. A decisive breakout above this area could open the door toward $0.0920, where the descending long-term moving average presents another significant obstacle.

Beyond that, the psychological $0.1000 level remains a critical target for any meaningful bullish recovery. On the downside, immediate support is located around $0.0780, followed by $0.0750. A sustained breakdown below these levels could accelerate selling pressure toward $0.0700, an area that previously attracted buying interest during the summer consolidation phase.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is hovering near the lower part of its neutral range, reflecting weak buying momentum without indicating deeply oversold conditions. Meanwhile, declining trading volume following recent volatility suggests that market participants remain cautious about opening aggressive long positions.
XRP Sellers Stay in Control Below $1.38XRP continues to face bearish pressure on the daily chart, trading around $1.3045 as sellers maintain control following the cryptocurrency's recent rejection from higher resistance levels. Despite a strong recovery from its August lows near $1.00, XRP has struggled to sustain bullish momentum, with its current decline pushing prices below several crucial moving averages.
XRP/USDT Chart by TradingViewThe broader technical structure remains uncertain, especially as XRP trades under its descending long-term moving average near $1.38. This level represents a significant barrier for buyers trying to reverse the prevailing downtrend. Meanwhile, the recent rejection from the $1.50–$1.60 area highlights persistent selling pressure whenever the cryptocurrency approaches higher price levels.
You Might Also Like
Immediate resistance is located around $1.35, followed by the $1.38–$1.40 region, where multiple moving averages converge. A sustained breakout above this area could strengthen buying momentum and potentially open the door toward $1.45 and $1.50. However, XRP would need stronger trading volume and consistent daily closes above these levels to confirm a meaningful bullish reversal.
On the downside, $1.30 represents immediate psychological support. A decisive breakdown below this level could expose XRP to further losses toward $1.25, followed by the important $1.20 support area. If selling pressure intensifies, the wider $1.10–$1.15 region could emerge as the next downside target.
Recent price action shows that buyers are trying to stabilize the market, but recovery attempts remain limited. Trading volume has also declined compared with earlier breakout sessions, indicating reduced participation. Unless XRP successfully reclaims the $1.38–$1.40 resistance area, the short-term outlook remains cautious, with consolidation or additional downside pressure likely.
Binance Coin (BNB) Holding Above Key Trend IndicatorsBinance Coin (BNB) is showing signs of stabilization on the daily chart, trading near $743.70 following a corrective decline from its recent highs around $800. Unlike several major cryptocurrencies struggling below their long-term moving averages, BNB continues to trade above its key longer-term trend indicators, suggesting that its broader recovery structure remains relatively constructive.
BNB/USDT Chart by TradingViewThe cryptocurrency experienced a strong bullish reversal starting in August, climbing from approximately $580 toward the $800 area by late September and early October. However, profit-taking near this resistance level triggered a pullback toward $720, where buyers have recently tried to regain control.
Immediate resistance is located between $750 and $760, an area that has repeatedly influenced recent price movements. A sustained breakout above this region could encourage renewed buying interest, potentially pushing BNB toward $780 and the psychologically significant $800 level.
You Might Also Like
A successful move beyond $800 would strengthen the bullish outlook and signal a probable continuation of the wider upward trend. On the downside, initial support is placed around $730, followed by the $710–$720 area. This region represents an important short-term demand zone where buyers previously stepped in.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is hovering around the neutral 50 level, suggesting that bullish and bearish forces are relatively balanced. This indicates that BNB is neither significantly overbought nor oversold, leaving room for a directional move.
Meanwhile, the recent consolidation around $740 shows that sellers may be losing momentum after the latest correction. Nevertheless, buyers still need to demonstrate stronger conviction through rising trading volume. As long as BNB maintains support above $710–$720, its broader recovery structure remains intact. A decisive breakout above $760 could offer the next significant bullish confirmation, while failure to defend nearby support may lead to deeper consolidation.

BNB Price on CoinGecko
bStocks Drives Trading Growth
The jump followed the June 11 launch of bStocks, making Q3 its first full quarter. Trading peaked on July 26, when tokenized-asset DEX volume hit $1.2 billion in one day.
QQQB, a tokenized version of the Invesco QQQ ETF, made up about 80% of bStocks’ DEX volume. Other products included SPCXB, SPYB and NVDAB.
Volumes cooled after July. From mid-August, weekly trading mostly ranged from $600 million to $1.1 billion, with one September week reaching $2.1 billion.
By September 30, tokenized stock supply on BNB Chain reached $1.13 billion, up from $560 million at the end of Q2. That was 39% of the $2.89 billion tracked across all blockchains.
The network counted about 1.8 million tokenized-equity holders. bStocks accounted for $810 million of the supply.
Revenue Rises as Active Addresses Fall
Network revenue climbed 54% to $54.2 million in Q3, up from $35.2 million. Transaction fees made up $49.1 million, with $5.1 million coming from maximal extractable value payments.
BNB Smart Chain processed 1.51 billion transactions, a 7.5% increase. Average fees rose to $0.032.
Daily active addresses fell 14% to 2.10 million. The Pasteur hard fork went live on August 25 and changed how blocks are built.
Lending deposits grew 42% to $3.57 billion, while borrowing rose 33% to $940 million. Tokenized equities made up less than 2% of deposits.
Stablecoin supply dropped 4.6% to $13.22 billion, mainly due to lower USD1 balances. Other real-world asset supply rose 24% to $4.96 billion, including $3.77 billion in tokenized Treasuries.
On October 19, BNB Chain completed its 37th quarterly burn, removing about 1.646 million BNB worth roughly $1.2 billion. That puts the value of each token at about $729 at the time of the burn.
In an October 21 update, BNB Chain said remaining supply stood near 131.51 million BNB. The network aims to cut total supply to 100 million BNB over time.
Futu Holdings subsidiary Futu Securities International (Hong Kong) Limited has announced the launch of BNB deposit and withdrawal services for eligible professional investors (PIs) in Hong Kong. Qualified PIs can now deposit BNB to their Futu crypto accounts from self-custody wallets, or withdraw to verified whitelisted addresses, via the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network. Earlier, Futu’s wholly-owned SFC (Securities and Futures Commission)-licensed virtual asset trading platform PantherTrade (Cheetah Trade) in Hong Kong had already listed BNB and offered BNB trading pairs to Hong Kong’s eligible professional investors.

Ethereum Foundation postpones the Glamsterdam upgrade for the Hoodi testnet, with no new date confirmed yet.
The Ethereum Foundation has announced that the Glamsterdam upgrade, originally set to activate on the Hoodi testnet at 17:42:48 UTC on October 26, 2026, has been delayed, with a new activation date yet to be confirmed. Core developers decided to postpone the upgrade during the 248th Ethereum Consensus Layer Developer Meeting (ACDE #248) to further investigate interactions between EIP-8037 and Ethereum mainnet smart contracts. The delay cancels the original plans for the Amsterdam execution layer activation and Gloas consensus layer activation, and also revokes the prior plan to raise the Hoodi testnet’s gas limit to 200 million in the same cycle. The Ethereum Foundation stressed that this adjustment only rolls back configurations for future upgrades and will not revert historical on-chain data on the Hoodi testnet. The upgrade originally scheduled for October 26 is no longer on the agenda; the new activation cycle and specific timing will be announced at a later date.

BNB, the native token of BNB Chain, traded between $730 and $745 in late October 2026 after briefly touching $750. While investors and analysts monitor whether BNB can surpass its multi-month range’s upper boundary, the latest quarterly token burn has added a fundamental element to the ongoing technical debate.
BNB’s $1.2 billion token burn reduces supplyBNB Chain, a blockchain platform developed by Binance, completed its 37th quarterly auto-burn on October 19. The burn permanently removed 1,646,196.44 BNB tokens, valued at roughly $1.197 billion at that moment, from circulation. Following the burn, the BNB Foundation reported the remaining total supply had decreased to 131,512,085 tokens.
This auto-burn is part of BNB’s broader plan to reduce its total supply to 100 million tokens. The mechanism calculates the burn amount based on factors such as BNB’s current price and block production activity on BNB Smart Chain. Burned tokens are sent to an inaccessible address, making them irretrievable and deflationary by nature.
However, the $1.2 billion figure represents the value of tokens at the time of removal, not cash spent or new purchases. According to CryptoSlate, the October burn removed about 1.9% more tokens compared to July, while the overall dollar value rose by 28.5% due in large part to higher token prices during this round.
While supply reduction supports BNB’s long-term deflationary aim, its influence on price action will depend on demand, trading volumes, and overall market sentiment. Eliminating tokens alone does not indicate new buyers are entering or that BNB will necessarily breach technical resistance levels.
BNB’s deflationary design is reinforced by regular token burns, but the effect on market price still depends on demand and market activity rather than the total dollar value of tokens removed.
$750 resistance emerges as a crucial levelTechnical analyst Alex Marzell called the $750 range a “make or break zone” for BNB, highlighting it as a critical point near the top of its multi-month trading range. A consistent move above this area could pave the way for a recovery to previous or even new all-time highs. However, brief spikes are not sufficient—a confirmed breakout requires ongoing buying support.
On October 22, technical analysis pointed out immediate resistance near $752.78 and support around $722.52. The daily relative strength index (RSI) hovered at 45, suggesting BNB’s momentum lags behind strong bullish trends.
If BNB can reclaim and sustain trading above the $750–$753 region, analysts believe a move toward higher resistance levels, and potentially the $850 zone, could follow. Failure to break this resistance, however, could lead to another downward phase.
For BNB’s bullish scenario to play out, traders are watching for a sustained break above the $750 mark, targeting further upside if momentum builds. Immediate support and resistance levels remain key to price direction in the coming days.
Price LevelRoleImplication$750–$753ResistanceBreakout could trigger bullish momentum$722.52Near-term supportFailure to hold may cause pullback$680–$695Demand zonePotential area for buyer interest$700NecklineBearish confirmation if breachedKey demand zones and emerging risksAnalyst TokenTalk3x has identified $680–$695 as a significant demand zone should BNB decline from current levels. Buyers may look to this area for potential entry, but it is not considered a firm price floor at present.
The technical analysis also refers to a Change of Character (CHoCH), which signals possible changes in market structure. If BNB rebounds with clear buying interest in the zone, a move toward the $850 level becomes plausible. However, any drop below this range could expose the token to weaker support and enhance downside risk.
Mini dictionary: Change of Character (CHoCH), a chart analysis term signaling a shift in trend direction or market structure, commonly used by technical analysts to identify reversals or new phases in price movement.
Meanwhile, analysis from TradingView contributor AnhbaCong_ suggests BNB may be developing a head-and-shoulders reversal pattern on the daily chart. The pattern forms with a head near $815, a neckline close to $700, and the right shoulder developing around $745–$750. A confirmed break of the $700 neckline could deepen losses, with $600 being a potential downside target.
BNB price outlook: Technicals drive short-term narrativeBNB’s short-term future depends on how price action interacts with reduced supply at key resistance and support levels. The October burn removed more than 1.64 million tokens, tightening supply, but the market’s reaction remains focused on whether BNB can close above $750 on strong volume.
If BNB manages a confirmed breakout above $750, analysts may shift focus to targets like $850. Conversely, a failure at resistance or a sustained fall below $700 could strengthen bearish signals and lead to further retracement.
For the time being, the $680–$695 zone represents a possible accumulation point, but technical signals are mixed with no definitive trend established. The short-term narrative is likely to depend less on headlines about supply and more on how BNB performs at its key resistance and support thresholds.

BNB Chain has scheduled its next protocol upgrade. The Jenner hardfork goes live on the BNB Smart Chain testnet on October 28, 2026, and node operators have homework to do first.
The upgrade bundles three BNB Evolution Proposals (BEPs). One reserves block space for payments, one creates a standard for regulated assets, and one makes the chain’s clock far more precise.
What Jenner actually changes The headline feature is BEP-703, which BNB Chain calls the Payment Lane. By default, it sets aside 5% of each block’s gas for qualifying payments. Eligible traffic, such as plain BNB transfers sent to non-contract accounts, gets a guaranteed slice of the block. The rest of the network can still jam up, but simple payments are meant to keep moving.
The second piece is BEP-702, which introduces a standard called CAS20, short for Compliant Assets. It is designed to support issuing stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) with compliance controls built directly into the token. Those controls include governance features such as allowlists and blocklists, giving issuers the ability to decide who is permitted to hold or move a token at the protocol level rather than through custom code.
There is a caveat. The full rollout of CAS20 features depends on future governance decisions, so the standard arriving on testnet does not mean every capability is switched on.
The third change is BEP-706, a precompile at address 0x70 that adds millisecond precision to block timestamps. Today, contracts typically see time in whole seconds. Jenner lets them see it in thousandths of a second. For DeFi oracles, which feed price data into lending protocols and exchanges, that extra precision could make timing-sensitive operations more accurate.
The fine print for node operators Every testnet node must run a compatible client before activation. That means restarting with reth-bsc v0.1.3 or applying the relevant BSC Geth updates. Nodes that skip the upgrade risk falling out of sync with the rest of the network once the fork triggers.
One detail worth flagging: the dates do not perfectly line up. The v1.8.1 client release points to activation on the Chapel testnet on October 29 at 02:30 UTC, while the official announcement says October 28. Operators would be wise to have upgrades done before the earlier date rather than cutting it close.
Background: the road to mainnet Testnet is the dress rehearsal. If Jenner behaves as intended there, BNB Chain plans to bring it to mainnet in late November 2026, though the exact timing has not yet been announced. Jenner follows earlier upgrades such as Mendel, which expanded the network’s scalability and functionality. The network has also recently conducted a BNB auto-burn event, the mechanism that periodically removes tokens from circulation.
What this means The Payment Lane addresses a familiar complaint about network congestion by guaranteeing a reserved 5% share of block gas for basic transfers. CAS20 lowers the effort for stablecoin and RWA issuers who would otherwise write bespoke contracts, and gives BNB Chain a pitch to compliance-minded firms, though allowlists and blocklists are features that give issuers power over who can transact. The full rollout of those controls remains contingent on future governance decisions.
The near-term items to watch are whether node operators upgrade cleanly before the October 28 activation given the minor date discrepancy with the v1.8.1 release, whether testnet surfaces any issues with the Payment Lane or timestamp changes, and when BNB Chain locks in the late November mainnet date.

NFT project Ptah launched its public mint last night, with a total supply of 100,000 units, and sold out completely this morning. As of press time, the NFT’s floor price stands at $23, with cumulative trading volume reaching $928,000. According to public information, the project’s unique feature is that users must mint using a Binance Agent ID / Agentic Wallet (.ai Agent ID). Regular wallets cannot mint directly, but operations such as trading, combining, and claiming are open to all wallets. Each Agent ID can mint a maximum of 4 Relics (calculated cumulatively across USDT and BNB payment methods). The total supply of Relics is 100,000: 95,000 available for public mint, and 5,000 reserved by the team (for tutorials, demos, rewards, giveaways, etc.). Additionally, users can burn 10 Relics to craft a Loom (a mining machine). BlockBeats reminds users that related projects are still in their early stages, with high uncertainty and significant price volatility, so users should exercise caution when investing.

Alliance Partner on a16z’s Shift: To Drive Crypto Talent to Build Cutting-Edge Technology
Imran, general partner at Alliance, took to X this morning to share his views on a16z crypto’s shift toward frontier technology sectors. He noted that a16z led Coinbase’s 2013 funding round via Chris Dixon, providing early validation for the crypto industry; Marc Andreessen’s 2014 New York Times op-ed, “Why Bitcoin Matters,” was a key factor in his decision to enter the Bitcoin space. At the time, few institutions and funds were willing to publicly back crypto, with a16z and USV standing out as two that took brand risk. Imran argued that the current development of AI infrastructure owes much to Bitcoin mining infrastructure and talent that has moved from crypto to AI. The shift to frontier technologies including robotics, biotech, AI, energy, and computing power means the talent and capabilities the crypto industry has built over the past decade can be applied to the broader frontier tech space. Citing data centers as an example, he noted that public and government pushback against data centers is growing, much like earlier resistance to crypto—yet today nearly all traditional financial institutions have embraced crypto to some extent. Yesterday’s news: a16z’s flagship blockchain fund will drop the “Crypto” moniker and rebrand as “a16z Frontier.”

BNB Chain has emerged as the leading blockchain for tokenized-equity trading in the third quarter of 2026, recording approximately $25.6 billion in transactions and $1.13 billion in tokenized stock supply.
Summary
BNB Chain recorded $25.6 billion in tokenized-equity trading during Q3 2026, roughly eleven times the previous quarter. Blockworks ranked BNB Chain first among tracked networks for tokenized-equity trading, supply and holder count. Tokenized-equity supply reached $1.13 billion, while the network recorded approximately 1.8 million holders at quarter-end. Network revenue rose 54% to $54.2 million, although average daily active addresses declined 14%. Lending deposits grew 42% to $3.57 billion, with tokenized equities accounting for less than 2%. Meanwhile, the network ranked first among tracked chains for tokenized-equity trading volume, outstanding supply and holder count, according to the Blockworks Q3 token-holder report. The report recorded growth in lending deposits and network revenue, although some user activity indicators declined.
BNB Chain had a huge Q3, ranking #1 among all chains in tokenized equity trading volume, supply and holders.

— BNB Chain (@BNBCHAIN) October 22, 2026 BNB Chain leads tokenized equity trading across tracked networks Tokenized-equity trading reached $25.6 billion during Q3, compared with $2.4 billion in the preceding quarter. Decentralized exchange venues accounted for $24.4 billion, while Ondo Global Markets contributed another $1.2 billion.
Blockworks compared $45.8 billion in tokenized-asset DEX trading across its tracked networks, excluding pairs involving memecoins. Within that dataset, BNB Chain held more than half the volume, ahead of Robinhood Chain’s $10.2 billion and Solana’s $6.4 billion.
BNB Chain tokenized equities trading volume by venue, source: Blockworks The trading surge followed bStocks’ June 11 launch, making Q3 its first complete reporting quarter. Activity peaked on July 26, when tokenized-asset DEX trading reached $1.2 billion in a single day.
Much of that activity centered on QQQB, the tokenized Invesco QQQ ETF product, which generated approximately 80% of bStocks’ DEX volume. Other traded products included SPCXB, SPYB and NVDAB, while the Native trading venue handled approximately 36% of bStocks volume.
Although trading accelerated, volumes moderated after the July peak. From mid-August, weekly activity generally ranged between $600 million and $1.1 billion, with one week in September reaching $2.1 billion.
Tokenized stock supply doubles to $1.13 billion By September 30, BNB Chain held approximately $1.13 billion in tokenized public equities, compared with $560 million at the end of Q2. That represented 39% of the $2.89 billion supply tracked across blockchains.
The report placed the network’s tokenized-equity holder count at approximately 1.8 million, equivalent to 38% of its tracked cross-chain total. bStocks accounted for $810 million of the network’s tokenized-equity supply.
BNB Chain’s position comes during growing competition among blockchain networks supporting tokenized financial products. A recent tokenized-equities market report found that DEX activity had spread across multiple networks as issuers expanded their product offerings.
Robinhood Chain’s DeFi total value locked stood near $1.14 billion on October 22, according to DefiLlama. However, that figure measures deposits across decentralized finance applications and cannot be directly compared with BNB Chain’s tokenized-equity supply or quarterly trading volume.
BNB Chain revenue climbs 54% despite lower active addresses Network real economic value, or REV, reached $54.2 million during Q3, rising 54% from $35.2 million in Q2. The total consisted of $49.1 million in transaction fees and $5.1 million in payments associated with maximal extractable value.
Blockworks calculated token-holder net income at $45.1 million, up 57% from the preceding quarter. Under its methodology, the measure combines delegator rewards and BNB burned through the BEP-95 mechanism.
BNB Chain transactions, source: Blockworks BNB Smart Chain processed 1.51 billion transactions, an increase of 7.5%, while average transaction fees climbed to $0.032. Daily active addresses, however, declined 14% to 2.10 million, indicating that transaction growth did not coincide with growth in active addresses.
The Pasteur hard fork activated on August 25, changing the network’s block-building process. Its BidBlock V2 system subsequently produced approximately 98% of blocks and averaged 28% more gas per block than the previous approach.
Lending deposits rise as BNB supply continues falling Lending deposits reached $3.57 billion at quarter-end, growing 42% from $2.51 billion, while outstanding borrowing climbed 33% to $940 million. Tokenized equities used in lending markets grew from $6 million to $62 million, although they represented less than 2% of total deposits.
Meanwhile, stablecoin supply declined 4.6% to $13.22 billion, largely because of lower USD1 balances. Non-stablecoin real-world asset supply increased 24% to $4.96 billion, including $3.77 billion in tokenized Treasuries.
BNB Chain RWA supply by asset class, source: Blockworks BNB’s quarterly supply reductions continued after the reporting period. The network’s 37th quarterly token burn removed approximately 1.646 million BNB on October 19, worth around $1.2 billion at the time.
In an October 21 update, BNB Chain said the remaining supply stood near 131.51 million BNB. The network continues using quarterly auto-burns and BEP-95 transaction-fee burns toward its long-term target of 100 million BNB.
TL;DRJenner is scheduled for BSC testnet on October 28, 2026.Node operators must upgrade before activation.Changes include Payment Lane and millisecond timestamps.Jenner enables functionality for a new Compliant Asset Standard (CAS20)The Jenner hard fork introduces changes to payment capacity, native asset controls, and the timestamp information available to smart contracts on BNB Smart Chain (BSC).
Validators, node operators, block builders, and application developers should review the changes and prepare for testnet activation. This notice covers the upgrade requirements, included proposals, and compatibility checks.
Upgrade Scheduled & Required ActionJenner is scheduled for testnet on October 28, 2026. Confirmed mainnet timing will be announced separately.
All BSC nodes must run a compatible client release before their network’s activation. Check the release instructions for your client and network, including the exact activation time, before scheduling the upgrade.
For Chapel testnet operators using Reth, reth-bsc v0.1.3 is available for Jenner. Review its RPC compatibility changes before replacing the binary and restarting. Operators using the BSC Geth client should follow the release instructions for that client.
The official Jenner upgrade notice provides the reference for rollout updates and upgrade information.
What Changes in JennerPayment Lane: Reserved capacity for eligible paymentsBEP-703 introduces Payment Lane, which reserves 5% of each block’s gas capacity for qualifying payment transactions by default. Governance can adjust that share up to a protocol maximum of 10%.
Eligible payments include nonzero BNB transfers to accounts without code and eligible transactions sent to governance-listed payment contracts. The contract list starts empty, so stablecoins and CAS20 tokens require separate governance approval to qualify.
Payments can compete for capacity beyond the reserved share. General transactions cannot use unused payment capacity. Existing fee and transaction-ordering rules remain in place, and the reservation does not guarantee inclusion for an individual payment.
Payment providers should review the transaction eligibility rules. Block builders must account for the reservation when constructing blocks.
CAS20: Native asset controls, coming soonBEP-702 introduces the Compliant Asset Standard, CAS20, for assets such as stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets. It provides protocol-native token functionality with transfer policies, allowlists and blocklists, pausing, and separate mint, burn, and seizure roles.
Jenner includes the underlying capability. Token creation and policy-registry updates require separate activation by a governance-appointed administrator. CAS20 retains BEP-20 selector and event compatibility; its technical controls do not themselves establish legal compliance.
CAS20 is coming soon. A separate announcement will cover its availability, functionality, and integration details.
Millisecond timestamps for smart contractsBEP-706 adds a precompile at address 0x70 that returns the executing block’s timestamp in milliseconds. Applications can use it for timing-sensitive logic such as quote expiry, auction cutoffs, and price-feed freshness checks.
Contracts must explicitly call the precompile to use it. Existing block.timestamp behavior remains in seconds.
The change exposes finer timing precision already present in block headers. It does not change block speed or provide stronger timing guarantees than the existing validator-supplied block timestamp.
RPC compatibility & block builder updatesReth operators and teams using its RPC endpoints should review a compatibility change in reth-bsc v0.1.3. It applies immediately after upgrading, including before Jenner activates.
For eth_call, eth_estimateGas, debug_traceCall, and eth_simulateV1, a supplied blockOverrides.prevRandao must encode the millisecond remainder, from 0 to 999, as a 32-byte hex value. The time field remains in seconds. Overriding only time resets the millisecond remainder to zero.
The release also includes BEP-675 improvements to builder-proposed blocks: binary BidBlock submission over gRPC, stronger validation, and builder revocations that persist across restarts. These accompanying client improvements do not require a hard fork.
Review the Reth release notes for the full compatibility details.
Prepare for Testnet ActivationValidators and node operators: Check the applicable client release and activation time, review compatibility changes, and complete the upgrade before activation.MEV block builders: Verify Payment Lane gas accounting and review the updated BidBlock submission interfaces.Application developers and integrators: Check affected RPC overrides and test millisecond timestamp integration where relevant. Payment teams should verify eligibility rules, while CAS20 integrations should account for separate feature activation.Use the Jenner upgrade notice and your client’s release notes to track confirmed rollout details.

PancakeSwap and BNB Chain both say PHP is nowhere in their tech stacks, and CZ wants other projects to post the same kind of confirmation.
Changpeng Zhao (CZ) is telling internet users to be extra careful on any website for the next few days, after two PHP vulnerabilities were patched on October 21 when their details leaked early.
Because attackers need no login to exploit them, a site someone simply visits could become a route to stolen credentials or a compromised device, CZ warned.
Exploitation Confirmed in the Wild In an October 21 post on X referring to vulnerabilities CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619, Zhao wrote:
“Call me paranoid, but be extra careful visiting ANY web site in the next few days, as some web admins are not always up-to-date with security patches.”
NSA Cyber advised organizations running PHP to prepare for an update and to take the affected system offline if patching could not happen immediately. The FBI’s cyber division repeated the offline option and asked operators to watch for PHP processes that unexpectedly launch command shells. Cloudflare stated that it had switched on default firewall protections before the flaws became public.
According to a PHP Foundation blog post, the two CVE numbers began circulating online on October 20 with a wrong release time and a severity score of 10.0 instead of the real 9.2, though no technical details were out.
Calif, one of the firms that reported the bugs, then mistakenly published a proof-of-concept video, and Chainguard released patch images more than six hours ahead of the agreed time. Curiously, the foundation noted that no functional exploits had been found when the release went out, while CZ’s post describes attacks confirmed afterward.
“Exploitation was confirmed in the wild soon after disclosure, prompting quick WAF protections and patching by IT teams, as unauthenticated attacks could turn visited sites into vectors for credential theft or device exploits,” stated the Binance founder.
BNB Chain and PancakeSwap Say Their Systems Are Unaffected The warning does not mean every cryptocurrency platform is vulnerable. BNB Chain executive Nina Rong confirmed that the network does not use PHP in its technology stack, while decentralized exchange PancakeSwap posted that it does not use PHP anywhere in its infrastructure and that user funds were safe.

Meanwhile, OpenAI stated that its models helped researchers find the bugs through its Patch the Planet initiative and called the bug “one of the most impactful vulnerabilities in recent memory.” To its knowledge, the company added, frontier AI got to the problem ahead of attackers.
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has pushed the idea that AI hacking makes cybersecurity hopeless, reasoning that AI able to provide hard math theorems could also prove a program secure.

Short-term Bitcoin holders’ unrealized profit stands at 9.5%, with new capital gradually flowing back, its proportion climbing to 11.2%.
Crypto analyst Axel Adler Jr. noted in a post that as of October 21, the share of funds from new investors in the Bitcoin network has climbed from the year-to-date low of 6.6% on July 5 to 11.2%, a sign that new capital is gradually flowing back, though the inflow remains below the levels that topped 20% in 2024 and 2025. Currently, Bitcoin is trading at roughly $82,300, with short-term holders’ average cost basis at $75,100, translating to an overall unrealized profit of around 9.5%. This cohort has been in profit for 63 straight days since August 20, with the unrealized profit ratio hitting a peak of 16% on October 5. Should the new investor fund share break above 11.5%, it would signal further strengthening of buyer demand; a drop back below 10%, meanwhile, would point to a possible stall in new capital inflows. If Bitcoin falls below $75,100, short-term holders as a whole will flip to losses, and the associated selling pressure may rise accordingly.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics has secured a combined investment of 3.7 trillion won from Tesla and NVIDIA, and will expand its AI chip substrate production line.
According to South Korean media reports, Tesla and NVIDIA will invest 1.1 trillion won and 2.6 trillion won respectively, totaling around 3.7 trillion won (approximately $2.5 billion), to support Samsung Electro-Mechanics’ expansion of next-generation FC-BGA (Flip Chip Ball Grid Array) substrate production facilities. Samsung Electro-Mechanics will set up a dedicated production line at its Sejong plant for Tesla; the substrates manufactured will be used in AI chips for Tesla’s autonomous vehicles and its Optimus humanoid robot. The relevant long-term supply agreement spans five years, from 2029 to 2033. NVIDIA, meanwhile, plans to invest in the expansion of Samsung Electro-Mechanics’ Sejong and Busan plants to produce AI computing chips and data center network substrates. Samsung Electro-Mechanics targets completing factory construction by the end of 2027, launching mass production in the second half of 2028, and commencing supply to Tesla in 2029. FC-BGA is a critical packaging substrate for high-performance chips including AI accelerators, GPUs, and CPUs. As AI chip computing power rises, the supply of such substrates has emerged as a key bottleneck in the industry chain. The partnership is expected to help Samsung Electro-Mechanics scale its high-end substrate production capacity and secure long-term customer demand.
BNB Chain has completed its 37th quarterly token burn after removing 1.646 million BNB from circulation as the network pushes toward its long-term supply reduction target.
The most recent burn on the 21st of October reportedly brought BNB’s remaining supply to 131.51 million tokens, reflecting significant progress towards the 100 million target.
In fact, the network has already completed approximately over two-thirds of its targeted supply reduction.
Beyond this recent supply reduction, exchange activity also highlighted sustained withdrawals, providing another development to BNB’s market picture.
Source: X BNB exchange withdrawals extend their streak BNB registered 11 consecutive days of negative Spot Netflows, maintaining a withdrawal streak throughout the latest trading period, as per CoinGlass analytics.
At press time, the token’s Spot Netflows had reached -$2.35 million, extending the continued movement of tokens away from exchanges.
These sustained outflows highlighted declining exchange balances, which potentially reduced the amount of BNB readily available for selling.
Also interestingly, the 90-day Spot Taker Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) also highlighted a taker-buy dominance.
Bulls, therefore, maintained control of aggressive Spot executions, an activity that complemented the exchange withdrawal trend. The combination ultimately reinforced BNB’s Spot market outlook, especially following the latest quarterly supply reduction.
Source: BNB Spot Netflows on CoinGlass Can BNB reclaim $800 after defending support? BNB’s weekly chart structure highlighted buyers defending the $708.48 support region following a recent rejection around $800, which interrupted its earlier recovery.
The correction followed a sustained rebound from the $550.51 support region, which had previously established a stronger recovery foundation.
Despite the pullback, Binance Coin maintained its position above the $708.48 support, preserving the possibility of another rebound.
Importantly, the weekly RSI meanwhile stood at 55.45, above its signal average of 53.91, favoring the possibility of a recovery attempt.
Furthermore, the Money Flow Index (MFI) also reached 74.39, suggesting strong capital inflows despite the indicator approaching overbought territory.
With Binance Coin trading around $739.55 at press time, preserving the $708.48 support could encourage another attempt to reclaim the $800 resistance.
Source: BNB/USDT Chart on TradingView Final Summary BNB’s latest quarterly burn removed 1.646 million tokens as Spot withdrawals continued. BNB maintained $708 support, keeping another recovery attempt toward $800 within reach.

A security warning about PHP has prompted crypto leaders to speak up. On October 22, 2026, BNB Chain and Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) each responded to the news, and every message pointed to the same thing: clear communication matters when users are worried about their funds.
What Triggered the ReactionThe alert came from NSA Cyber, which published a notice to organizations that use PHP in their systems. It told them to prepare for an update that fixes critical vulnerabilities. PHP is a very common programming language for web applications, so the warning affects a large part of the internet.
BNB Chain does not use PHP in our tech stack. Stay safe 🙏

The message was brief, but it answered the main question users had: is the network exposed to this issue? According to the team, it is not.
PancakeSwap Sets an ExamplePancakeSwap, one of the biggest decentralized exchanges on BNB Chain, had already shared its own confirmation a few hours earlier. The team said it does not use PHP anywhere in its tech stack and that its platform is not affected. It also told users that their funds are safe.
CZ Calls for More Projects to Do the SameCZ shared the PancakeSwap post and added his own view. He wrote that most projects should at least publish a confirmation like this one. His comment suggests that a short, direct statement is the minimum a project owes its users during a security scare.
Most projects should at least post a confirmation like this.
— CZ 🔶 BNB (@cz_binance) October 22, 2026 His point is simple. When a warning from a major government agency spreads, silence can create fear and rumors. A quick confirmation from a project takes only minutes to write, yet it can calm many users.
Crypto platforms hold real money, and users often react quickly to any hint of risk. Many websites, wallets, and dashboards across the industry may still use PHP somewhere in their systems, even if the main blockchain code does not.
Users should watch for official updates from the projects they use. They should also be careful with fake messages that claim to be security fixes, since scammers often use news like this to trick people.

A recent security alert involving the PHP programming language has prompted top figures in the crypto sector to address concerns regarding user safety. On October 22, 2026, Changpeng Zhao (CZ)—the founder of Binance, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, and BNB Chain—responded publicly to the warnings, emphasizing the need for transparency from crypto projects during security incidents.
US agency warns of PHP vulnerabilitiesThe US National Security Agency (NSA) Cyber unit issued an alert to organizations employing PHP in their digital infrastructure. The agency underscored the presence of critical vulnerabilities in PHP and advised all affected groups to prepare for an upcoming security update. As PHP powers a significant share of the world’s web applications, the warning carries broad implications across the internet, including parts of the crypto industry.
According to NSA Cyber, these security flaws can provide malicious actors with direct access to a server’s file system. Such exploits represent a serious risk to any service running on vulnerable PHP versions, potentially compromising sensitive data and platform integrity.
Mini dictionary: PHP, a widely used open-source server-side scripting language, is integral to web development and often runs dynamic websites and applications. Vulnerabilities in PHP can impact numerous online platforms if left unpatched.
In direct response to concerns from users, BNB Chain’s representative Nina Rong posted a statement confirming that the network does not incorporate PHP in its technical stack. Rong also encouraged users to stay vigilant for security updates. Her message, viewed more than 47,000 times in just a few hours, quickly clarified the project’s status to its community.
PancakeSwap, which ranks among the largest decentralized exchanges operating on BNB Chain, released its own analysis ahead of BNB Chain’s confirmation. The PancakeSwap team declared it does not use PHP in any part of its system architecture, assuring users that platform operations remain safe and unaffected.
Nina Rong, speaking on behalf of BNB Chain, stated that PHP is not part of their tech infrastructure and encouraged users to “stay safe” in light of the ongoing alert.
CZ calls for industry-wide transparencyCZ, sharing PancakeSwap’s statement, urged other projects to follow this example by publicly confirming their exposure—or lack thereof—during security incidents. He argued that concise and direct communications should be standard practice when major vulnerabilities are revealed, as timely updates can quickly reassure users about the safety of their funds.
CZ’s comments highlighted a recurring challenge in crypto: the rapid spread of user concern in response to government advisories. He noted that silence from project teams can fuel rumors and uncertainty, but a fast, official statement often prevents panic and misinformation.
In his remarks, CZ underlined that “most projects should at least publish a confirmation like this one” during high-profile security scares.
Staying alert against misinformationGiven that many digital platforms, wallets, and user interfaces in the cryptocurrency industry may still rely on PHP, even if their core blockchain code does not, users remain advised to seek official confirmation from the projects they use about any potential risks.
The warning has also highlighted the risk of phishing attacks in the wake of such alerts, as scammers sometimes exploit trending security news to distribute fake patches or deceptive messages. Security experts remind users to authenticate any communication and only trust updates released through verified project channels.
BNB Chain memecoin Moolah ($MOOLAH) is up 14% in 24 hours and 35% in a week, with a $50 million market cap and a planned MOOLAH/NVDA pair tied to tokenized NVIDIA stock.
BNB Chain (@BNBCHAIN) $BNB memecoin $MOOLAH has surged 14% in 24 hours and 35% over the last seven days, reaching a $50 million market cap, according to CoinGecko.
The project recently announced plans for a MOOLAH/NVDA trading pair, which would give holders access to tokenized NVIDIA stock. MOOLAH launched on Flap(.)sh and uses $LISUSD liquidity.
What is Moolah?Moolah is a community-driven meme token on BNB Smart Chain. CoinMarketCap describes it as the official mascot token of the ListaDAO ecosystem, designed to symbolize unity and community engagement on BNB Chain. Coinbase's asset page notes the token launched on the Flap(.)sh platform and has official authorization from ListaDAO.
KuCoin's token profile says MOOLAH carries no native protocol utility beyond its cultural and branding roles. That places it firmly in the meme category, where price action is driven largely by sentiment and community activity.
The token has also drawn institutional-style attention before. Lookonchain data cited by CoinMarketCap showed the BSC Foundation bought 4.82 million MOOLAH on June 13, 2025.
Stock-paired memecoins are a growing nichePairing memecoins with tokenized equities is not unique to BNB Chain. KuCoin reports that on Robinhood Chain, some meme tokens have begun trading directly against Stock Tokens linked to companies such as Nvidia, Tesla and Apple. In that model, a pair such as AI/NVDA connects a meme token with an NVDA Stock Token that provides economic exposure linked to Nvidia shares.
Tokenized stocks are also legally distinct from the underlying shares. KuCoin notes that Stock Token holders should not automatically be treated as owners of real shares. Readers should check the terms of any tokenized product before trading.
Memecoins are highly volatile and speculative assets. Always do your own research and never invest more than you can afford to lose.

Blockchain security company SlowMist has issued a critical security alert concerning cryptocurrency exchanges, decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms, and cryptocurrency wallet providers worldwide.
Why is the PHP Vulnerability Dangerous? According to SlowMist, two critical security vulnerabilities, tracked by numbers CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619, have been discovered in the PHP programming language, which is widely used in the infrastructure of websites and applications.
These vulnerabilities, under the right conditions, could allow attackers to remotely execute code on vulnerable servers without requiring authentication.
Following this warning, the PHP team released security updates on October 21st. However, the early leakage of the vulnerabilities shortened the time system administrators had to apply the updates. The European Union Cybersecurity Agency (ENISA) and other organizations urged organizations using PHP to urgently update their systems.
At this point, the PHP vulnerability has caused concern in the cryptocurrency sector. This vulnerability does not directly affect smart contracts or cold wallets, but it is stated that it could affect web-based environments such as dApp interfaces and exchanges.
Are Binance and BNB Chain Affected? Binance and BNB Chain stated in their announcements that the network, its underlying infrastructure, and the exchange were not affected by the recently discovered PHP vulnerability.
BNB Chain stated that it was not affected by the PHP vulnerability because it does not use the PHP programming language in its technology stack.
Binance stated in its announcement: “Binance is committed to protecting our users and our platform. Following the disclosure of a PHP vulnerability, our security teams implemented proactive measures and completed necessary fixes before the official patch was released. We continue to monitor developments and strengthen our security measures to help keep our ecosystem safe.”
Decentralized exchange PancakeSwap also announced that its infrastructure does not use PHP and that user funds are secure. US-based Kraken also stated that it is secure after migrating its core backend to Rust. Trust Wallet (TWT) also announced that they do not use PHP.
Urgent Warning from CZ for Users! Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) also commented on the issue and warned users. CZ urged users to be extra cautious when visiting websites over the next few days.
CZ emphasized that some website administrators might not apply security patches in a timely manner, urging users to exercise caution. He also requested that crypto projects provide clear information on whether or not their infrastructure uses PHP.

MemeToro has outlined an AI memecoin launchpad on BNB Chain with fixed-price funding and escrow contracts, proposing a different launch process, as Bitquery data shows 79% of nearly nine million Pump.fun tokens traded only on their first day.
Summary
Funding terms would be public before contributions open, including token supply, price, and wallet limits.
The proposed AI agent would publish its reasoning and reject launches without a suitable concept.
Draft escrow rules would allow refunds and prevent finalization while contributors can still withdraw.
The team says MT’s presale has reached Stage 9 at $0.00649, while launch-contract audits remain pending.
Bitquery, the blockchain data provider behind the memecoin trading survival findings, tracked 8,984,141 Pump.fun tokens from Nov. 1, 2025, through Oct. 7, 2026. Only 1.5% recorded any trading during their fifth week, and just 0.2% registered at least 10 trades in that period.
Across other Solana launchpads, the provider recorded launch-day-only trading for 51% of Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve tokens and 84% of Raydium LaunchLab tokens. Fifth-week trading appeared in 1.9% and 1.3% of those groups, respectively.
Against that backdrop, MemeToro says its planned platform would publish the reasons for creating a token before asking people to fund it. The project also proposes equal-price contributions and contract-controlled funding, although its public documentation describes an unfinished system rather than a tested remedy for short-lived trading.
MemeToro would publish a reason for each token before funding
On its AI agent page, the project describes a system that would examine news, social media and online communities for potential memecoin concepts. The planned output includes the token’s concept, supporting evidence, and the reasoning behind its selection.
According to the developer’s documentation, the agent would also publish the candidates it rejected. When no suitable idea passes its checks, the system is designed to produce no launch proposal.
Before contributions open, the project plans to publish a machine-readable launch manifest containing the proposed supply, funding price, wallet caps, and conditions for proceeding. Its launchpad description says participants would be able to read those terms before deciding whether to contribute.
The public repository describes an early pipeline that collects news and trend signals and turns them into a validated draft manifest. The developer says the repository does not yet contain an autonomous hourly service or a working launch process from start to finish.
For the planned division of responsibilities, the README states:
“the agent proposes; transparent contracts execute.”
Under that design, the AI would choose and explain a concept, while public contracts would enforce the accepted funding rules.
Fixed-price rounds would exclude private allocation tiers
For tokens launched through the proposed platform, MemeToro says every contributor would pay the same funding price. Its launchpad description excludes private allocation tiers and says the published terms would include wallet limits.
In a Sept. 20 report, crypto.news described the project’s first escrow contract release, comprising 1,373 lines of Solidity across 17 files. The release included a funding escrow, an interface for future token creation and liquidity operations, and basic token functions needed for participant claims.
According to that account, the draft allocation rules require contributors and liquidity to account for the full token supply, with any rounding remainder assigned to liquidity. The proposed contract therefore leaves no separate allocation for founders within those launch rounds.
For its own ecosystem token, MT, the project publishes a different distribution. MemeToro’s tokenomics assigns 71% of the stated 1.2 billion supply to the public sale and 2% to the team.
Alongside launchpad development, the team said its MT presale has reached Stage 9 at $0.00649 per token, with a higher price scheduled for the next stage. The tokenomics page describes MT as intended for platform access, launch funding, rewards, staking, and future trading.
Escrow rules would govern refunds and liquidity funding
Within the proposed launch process, contributor money would enter an escrow contract rather than a team-controlled wallet, according to the project’s design. The draft fixes funding settings when a round is created and contains no owner role, administrator function, or upgrade path.
As described in the September release, contributed funds would have two destinations. They could return to participants through refunds or proceed into the planned liquidity process when the required conditions are met.
The developer’s draft also includes an exit window that allows contributors to withdraw before finalization. Under the documented rules, the launch cannot be finalized while that withdrawal right remains available.
For completed rounds, the launchpad page says contracts would seed and lock liquidity on PancakeSwap. The same description limits the equal-price arrangement to the funding round, after which trading would take place at market prices.
To connect published promises with contract behavior, the repository describes a fingerprint of each launch manifest. According to the README, its test suite creates a round from a manifest to check whether the enforced terms match the published conditions.
Launch-contract reviews remain pending
Although MemeToro’s website lists Coinsult, SolidProof and BlockSAFU as auditors of the MT token contract, its disclosures say the launch contracts have not undergone independent audits. The developer labels the escrow an unaudited draft and warns against using the repository to collect or manage real funds.
In the published roadmap, outstanding work includes production token creation, liquidity provision, a formal manifest schema and agent identity integration. The AI agent page continues to display “COMING SOON,” while the README places independent security reviews before production use.
For U.S. buyers, the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance said in February 2025 that transactions involving the entertainment-focused memecoins described in its statement generally do not involve securities offerings. The staff said buyers of those coins consequently lack federal securities-law protections.
The division excluded products that fall outside its description and said a token’s name does not determine its legal treatment. Its statement has no legal force, and staff said fraudulent conduct involving memecoins may still face enforcement or prosecution under other federal or state laws.

Binance Square kicks off the second phase of the US stock earnings season, focusing on AI investment returns of Tesla and Meta.
Binance Square has launched the second installment of its U.S. stock earnings season coverage, with this edition focusing on Tesla (TSLA) and Meta (META)’s third-quarter financial results. Both companies will release their results after U.S. market close on October 21 (Eastern Time), with market focus centered on whether their artificial intelligence (AI) investments can translate into actual revenue, profits, and cash flow.
For Tesla, while its third-quarter delivery volume hit 486,532 units, exceeding consensus analyst expectations, the profitability of its automotive business remains a key highlight—particularly its automotive gross margin excluding regulatory credit revenue. Additionally, the performance of its energy storage business, progress in commercialization of Full Self-Driving (FSD), Robotaxi, and Optimus humanoid robot, as well as capital expenditures and free cash flow, will also shape market perceptions of its growth outlook.
For Meta, the market will prioritize ad business growth and returns on AI investments. Investors will monitor revenue, ad impressions, and average price changes to assess whether Meta’s AI recommendation systems and ad tools can boost monetization efficiency. Separately, Meta projects its 2026 capital expenditures will reach $130 billion to $145 billion. Whether this spending will drive corresponding profit and cash flow growth, along with full-year expenses and forward guidance, are key highlights of this earnings report.
It is reported that Binance Square will continuously follow both companies’ earnings performance via formats including earnings previews, post-release analyses, and analyst live streams in Chinese and English. Users can follow Binance Square’s dedicated earnings topic and join discussions via the hashtag #EarningsSeason to share their views on earnings results and market trends.

Aerodrome and Velodrome officially merge to launch unified on-chain DEX Aero.
Aerodrome and Velodrome have officially completed their merger, launching a unified on-chain spot trading platform called Aero. The new platform will operate across seven networks: Ethereum Mainnet, Base, Robinhood Chain, Ink, OP Mainnet, Arc, and Arbitrum, integrating the operations of the two decentralized exchanges into a single platform. The core focus of the merger is the unification of the token system. Original AERO and VELO tokens will be migrated to the new AERO token, with old AERO swapped at a 1:1 ratio, and VELO converted at a rate of 1 VELO = 0.044 AERO. Existing veAERO and veVELO staked positions will be converted to sAERO. Binance announced on October 16 that it supports the token merger and contract swap, providing a migration path for existing holders. Prior to the merger, Aerodrome and Velodrome already held leading positions in their respective ecosystems: in Q3 2026, Aerodrome accounted for 58% of DEX trading volume on Base, while Velodrome captured 60% of DEX volume on OP Mainnet. Aerodrome also ranked first among all DEXs in Bitcoin-USD trading volume during the same period. The seven networks covered by Aero collectively handle approximately $120 billion in monthly DEX trading volume.

Whop Raises $200 Million Series D Round Co-Led by Sequoia and Shopify Ventures, Valued at $5.1 Billion
Online business platform Whop announced on October 21 that it has closed a $200 million Series D funding round, with a post-money valuation of $5.1 billion. The round was co-led by Sequoia Capital and Shopify’s investment arm, Shopify Ventures. Some market reports have cited the funding amount as $205 million, but the official figure from the company’s announcement is $200 million. This financing comes less than a year after Whop’s previous funding round. In February 2026, Tether made a $200 million strategic investment in Whop at a $1.6 billion valuation, meaning the company’s valuation has more than tripled in under a year. Headquartered in Palo Alto, Whop was founded in 2021 by three co-founders who met as teenagers while developing sneaker release tracking software. Co-founder Steven Schwartz serves as CEO. The platform caters to individual entrepreneurs and small businesses, offering one-stop infrastructure covering business setup, payment distribution and operational tools. Currently, around 25,000 merchants conduct business via Whop, generating approximately $550 million in monthly transaction volume on the platform, while also creating income streams for over 50,000 related service providers. Its revenue mainly comes from commissions on platform transactions, with an average combined rate of around 6%.

ARK Invest’s Q3 2026 DeFi report shows that tokenized equities were the main driver of the quarter’s rebound in on-chain activity. Tokenized equity spot DEX trading volume hit roughly $50 billion, about 9 times the prior quarter’s level, lifting its share of total spot DEX volume from ~1% to ~9%. Total spot DEX volume rose ~13% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) to $571 billion, marking its first quarterly increase in four quarters. In its first quarter since launch, Robinhood Chain generated ~$65 billion in DEX trading volume and $51 million in network revenue, with its network income nearly matching BNB Chain’s performance in the same period. However, ARK projects that recent adjustments to the gas mechanism will cause the chain’s revenue to decline from current levels. Total stablecoin supply fell ~3% QoQ to $309 billion, but adjusted trading volume rose ~16% QoQ to $781 billion, while monthly active addresses grew ~39% to 73 million. Perpetual contract DEXs saw a divergence between open interest and trading activity: open interest rose ~76% QoQ to $240 billion, while quarterly trading volume dropped ~16% to $1.4 trillion. Hyperliquid’s open interest stood at ~$130 billion, accounting for ~53% of the total. ARK notes this trend points to fewer but larger, longer-held positions.
Crypto market liquidity crunch: Binance's stablecoin reserves hit their lowest level of the year.
According to crypto analyst Darkfost's data, centralized exchange (CEX) stablecoin reserves have been declining recently, with Binance's stablecoin reserves hitting their lowest level this year. Data shows Binance's stablecoin market capitalization has been on a downward trend since June, dropping approximately 4.7% over the past 90 days. Darkfost also pointed out that the decline in stablecoin reserves is not unique to Binance. This stablecoin outflow dynamic will continue to exert pressure on the market, and the lack of inflowing liquidity is exacerbating the current market weakness. To reverse the situation, the market needs to see capital flowing back into CEXs, which is a sign of demand recovery.

Zcash developers confirm the NU7 upgrade will roll out in November, cutting the block time to 25 seconds.
Zcash developers have reached consensus on the NU7 upgrade, set to activate at block height 3,543,405 (estimated around November 5). The upgrade will reduce block time from 75 seconds to 25 seconds, tripling transaction confirmation speed. Additionally, 60% of fees collected per block will be removed from circulation, with plans to return these funds to miners starting February 2031, while the original block reward halving schedule remains unchanged in the interim. Furthermore, Zcash’s original privacy protocol Sprout will be permanently shut down after the upgrade; funds not transferred in time will become inaccessible. The proposal was put forward by developer Sean Bowe and approved by the Zcash Improvement Proposal (ZIP) editing team, but it still needs to be formally merged into deployment specifications and integrated into node software before it can officially take effect.

Sources: Bank of Japan will decide at next week's meeting whether inflation has reached the 2% target.
According to Kyodo News, a source familiar with the matter revealed on Wednesday that the Bank of Japan (BOJ) will assess whether the underlying inflation rate has hit its 2% target at next week’s policy meeting. A confirmation would mark a symbolic turning point for the BOJ, signaling an end to its long-standing monetary policy stance aimed at combating deflation. The BOJ first set the 2% inflation target in January 2013. Despite implementing aggressive monetary easing programs, the central bank has repeatedly pushed back its timeline for achieving the goal. If the target is ultimately met, it will come nearly 14 years after the target was first introduced.

Saturn participated in Strive SATS' preferred stock IPO using its own funds.
DeFi digital credit protocol Saturn co-founder Ellis Osborn tweeted that Saturn has used its own funds to participate in the SATS preferred stock IPO of Bitcoin treasury company Strive, adding that this participation will not impact USDat, sUSDat, Saturn’s existing products or holders. Osborn noted that Saturn will in the future explore offering similar tools to its global investors.
Earlier reports stated that Strive issued SATS, a fixed-rate cumulative perpetual preferred stock with a 15% annual yield, which pays dividends on every business day. Its liquidation priority ranks below Strive’s floating-rate preferred stock SATA and above common stock ASST. Strive priced the SATS offering at $90 per share, issuing 7 million shares to raise approximately $630 million, with the deal closing on October 20.

Nasdaq-listed company BNB Standard (stock code: BNC) announced it will ring the Nasdaq opening bell on October 26 to celebrate its corporate rebranding and the appointment of a new management team. The company’s chief executive officer will attend the bell-ringing ceremony alongside board members, its management team, investors, and ecosystem partners.
BNB Standard Corporation (Nasdaq: BNC) has announced plans to ring the Nasdaq opening bell on October 26, following its recent corporate rebranding and the appointment of Alex Odagiu as chief executive officer.
Summary
BNB Standard will ring the Nasdaq opening bell on October 26 to celebrate its new corporate identity and the appointment of Alex Odagiu as chief executive. The company adopted the BNB Standard name in September following a community advisory vote, while retaining its existing Nasdaq trading symbol, BNC. Odagiu took over as CEO on October 19 following a board restructuring that resolved a governance dispute with YZi Labs. BNB Standard plans to operate its own validator on BNB Chain as part of its strategy to expand its treasury holdings and develop an operating business around the network. In an October 20 announcement, the company said the ceremony would take place at the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square, New York, at 9:30 a.m. ET, with Odagiu joining members of its board of directors and management team.
The event will celebrate the company’s new identity as BNB Standard, which it adopted in September after operating under the name CEA Industries, as well as the leadership changes announced earlier this week.
BNB Standard confirmed the plans in an October 21 post on X, where it said investors and ecosystem partners would join company representatives for the ceremony.
BNB Standard brings its new corporate identity to Nasdaq The upcoming ceremony follows a series of changes at the Nasdaq-listed company, which has been building its business around BNB treasury management since securing substantial private financing in 2025.
Previously known as CEA Industries, the company formally adopted the BNB Standard name on September 29 after inviting members of the BNB community to participate in an advisory vote.
According to its September 29 announcement, the company received 5,799 votes across four shortlisted names over five days, with BNB Standard receiving approximately 47% of the total.
Following the vote, the board approved the new name and introduced an updated corporate identity while retaining the company’s existing Nasdaq trading symbol, BNC.
The company’s common shares continued trading under the same ticker, while its publicly traded warrants retained the symbols BNCWW and BNCWZ.
BNB Standard’s treasury strategy dates back to July 2025, when CEA Industries announced a $500 million private placement backed by YZi Labs and 10X Capital.
The financing included $400 million in cash and $100 million in cryptocurrency, with additional proceeds potentially available through warrant exercises.
BNB Standard describes itself as the operator of the world’s largest corporate BNB treasury, although the announcement did not provide an updated token balance or valuation.
Alex Odagiu takes over as CEO Odagiu’s appointment as chief executive became effective on October 19, several months after he joined the company’s board and assumed the position of interim president in June.
His arrival followed a governance dispute involving YZi Labs, which ended through a cooperation agreement that brought new directors onto the board and established a formal CEO search process.
As crypto.news previously reported, the agreement appointed Odagiu, YZi Labs executive Ella Zhang and Bloq co-founder Matthew Roszak as directors, while ending YZi Labs’ consent solicitation.
Following the agreement, a search committee chaired by Roszak evaluated candidates before recommending Odagiu for the permanent leadership position.
In its October 19 regulatory filing, BNB Standard disclosed that Odagiu would receive an annual base salary of $525,000 and a target annual incentive bonus equal to 75% of that amount.
Before joining BNB Standard, Odagiu worked as an investment partner at YZi Labs and previously held an investment banking position at Goldman Sachs International. He resigned from his YZi Labs positions when his appointment became effective.
BNB Standard plans to launch its own BNB Chain validator Alongside the leadership announcement, BNB Standard disclosed plans to operate its own validator on BNB Chain, with a specialist infrastructure provider responsible for technical operations under the company’s governance.
The company intends to select the provider through a competitive process, while keeping its treasury BNB with qualified custodians during staking.
Validator rewards will depend on network activity and operational performance, meaning the company has not guaranteed any particular level of income from the proposed arrangement.
Odagiu said his priorities include increasing BNB holdings per share and developing an operating business on BNB Chain, beginning with the planned validator.
Once the validator goes live on BNB Chain’s mainnet, the company plans to make its operating details available through its treasury dashboard.
In his statement accompanying the Nasdaq ceremony announcement, Odagiu said the company wanted to encourage more institutional investors to examine BNB through a publicly listed business with transparent financial reporting.
“Most institutional investors have yet to study BNB,” he said.
BNB Standard’s October 13 website launch introduced an updated treasury dashboard containing adjusted net asset value information and figures intended to help shareholders monitor its digital asset holdings.
The company subsequently informed investors through its SEC filing that its website, treasury dashboard and official X account could be used to distribute material corporate information, alongside conventional filings and announcements.
An institutional cryptocurrency holder has reportedly lost approximately $2.84 million in a suspected attack by North Korea-linked hacking group SquidSquad.
Summary
An institutional cryptocurrency holder reportedly lost approximately $2.84 million in an October 8 attack on BNB Chain. On October 20, the attacker reportedly deposited 1,111.2 ETH into Tornado Cash before withdrawing the funds to three Ethereum addresses and subsequently transferring them to Tron through USDT0. ZachXBT identified two Tron wallets that received the funds and had exposure to previously attributed North Korean addresses. The identity of the affected institution and the method used to compromise its assets remain undisclosed. Blockchain investigator ZachXBT disclosed the suspected theft on October 21, identifying October 8 as the date of the incident on BNB Smart Chain and detailing a series of transactions that allegedly moved the proceeds through several wallets before they reached Chinese over-the-counter cryptocurrency dealers.
According to the investigator, the latest activity took place on October 20, when the attacker deposited 1,111.2 ETH into Tornado Cash and subsequently withdrew the funds to three separate Ethereum addresses.
The investigation identified financial connections between the wallets used in the transfers and addresses previously attributed to North Korean operators. However, the findings remain an on-chain attribution, and the identity of the affected institution has not been publicly disclosed.
SquidSquad stolen funds move through Tornado Cash Following the suspected October 8 theft, the attacker appears to have retained control of the proceeds until the latest movement, which involved converting or transferring the assets into Ethereum before sending them through the privacy protocol.
ZachXBT’s transaction analysis identified three addresses that received funds withdrawn from Tornado Cash. From those wallets, the assets were transferred from Ethereum to Tron using USDT0, a version of Tether’s dollar-pegged stablecoin designed for transfers across supported blockchain networks.
The transfers eventually brought the funds together in two Tron addresses, identified by the investigator as TEvUsnwXvprdvB7eNGiqh6rDiMqFiC8TBU and TVxzjnx3GPDTciiuaqXPaUbU5f5yi3Voux.
Both wallets reportedly had transaction exposure to addresses previously associated with North Korean cryptocurrency operations. ZachXBT did not identify the specific earlier incidents connected to those addresses in the supplied findings.
Within minutes of the consolidation, the funds passed through intermediary wallets before reaching addresses attributed to Chinese OTC dealers.
The investigator suspected that the rapid transfers were intended to avoid a potential freeze by Tether, which can restrict USDT held in addresses on supported blockchains.
Although the investigation traced the reported movements to OTC destinations, the public findings did not establish whether the operators had completed a conversion into fiat currency or whether any portion of the stolen assets had subsequently been frozen.
North Korean laundering networks have remained under scrutiny The latest case follows an October 5 investigation in which ZachXBT said he had infiltrated a suspected cryptocurrency laundering network connected to North Korea’s Lazarus Group.
As crypto.news previously reported, the investigator said he spent $349,700 posing as a customer to trace transactions associated with the $1.5 billion Bybit theft in 2025.
His findings identified an alleged Chinese operation that had processed more than $1 billion across multiple cryptocurrency exploits, although the claimed size of the network was not independently confirmed by publicly available U.S. enforcement records.
During that investigation, ZachXBT said he identified more than $12 million in Bybit-linked funds moving across different blockchains. Tether subsequently froze 442,000 USDT associated with wallets uncovered during the operation, according to his account.
The investigator has not established a publicly documented connection between the operators identified in that investigation and the OTC dealers involved in the latest SquidSquad transaction trail.
Tornado Cash transfers follow other suspected DPRK-linked attacks Separate cryptocurrency theft investigations have documented similar movements through Tornado Cash, including transactions involving assets stolen from Drift Protocol earlier this year.
On October 20, wallets associated with the Drift Protocol exploit transferred approximately 25,700 ETH, valued at $61.56 million, into the privacy protocol after a period of limited activity.
Drift suffered losses estimated at $285 million in April, with a subsequent forensic investigation by cybersecurity firm Mandiant attributing the attack to UNC6862, a North Korean threat group.
The Drift transfers were reported on the same day as the movements identified in the SquidSquad case, although investigators have not established that the two transactions involved the same operators or were coordinated.
A separate investigation into the 2024 Radiant Capital attack documented the use of Tornado Cash after attackers stole approximately $50 million from the lending protocol.
According to Radiant Capital’s subsequent disclosures, the attackers compromised signing permissions and replaced a lending pool implementation contract. Cybersecurity investigators later connected the incident to North Korean operators.
By October 2025, blockchain security firm CertiK had identified 2,834 ETH deposited into Tornado Cash from wallets associated with the attack, with approximately $10.8 million believed to have passed through the mixer.
Radiant announced in June 2026 that it would wind down operations after failing to recover from the theft and secure sufficient funding to continue development.
SquidSquad suspected to be using impersonation and malware A 2026 DPRK cryptocurrency threat assessment found that SquidSquad was associated with campaigns targeting cryptocurrency founders, executives and wealthy investors.
According to the report, the group commonly impersonates venture capitalists, investors and business contacts before attempting to distribute malicious documents or software through messaging platforms such as Telegram and LinkedIn.
Researchers linked the group to malware families including RustBucket, SwiftBucket and NimDoor, while identifying Tornado Cash among the services used to move stolen funds.
Similar methods have appeared in other North Korean hacking campaigns, with Lazarus Group targeting cryptocurrency executives through fake meeting invitations and malicious macOS software, according to an April investigation by cybersecurity firm CertiK.
Before U.S. stock market opens, all three major index futures rose, with the Nasdaq 100 futures up around 0.80%. In terms of individual stocks, according to BIT (bit.com) market data, boosted by strong quarterly results, SpaceX gained nearly 9% to $161.08. NASDAQ-listed company BNB Standard will begin trading on October 26.
BNB Chain posted a $239.3 million increase in tokenized stock market capitalization over the past week, according to data from Token Terminal. This performance places BNB Chain well ahead of Robinhood Chain and Base in weekly growth for tokenized equities, highlighting growing interest and activity within its ecosystem.
BNB Chain Widens Lead in Tokenized Equity SegmentToken Terminal reported that while BNB Chain saw its tokenized stock market capitalization surge by $239.3 million in seven days, Robinhood Chain registered $11.4 million in new capitalization and Base added $4.4 million during the same period. The data suggests that BNB Chain is currently outpacing its closest competitors in this fast-evolving sector.
Tokenized stocks allow traditional equities to be represented and traded on blockchain networks, increasing accessibility and transparency for investors across global markets. Recent figures indicate that BNB Chain continues to expand its reach as more projects and users enter the space.
Despite the rise in tokenized stock market capitalization, analysts noted that such growth does not necessarily translate to immediate demand for BNB itself. The broader ecosystem’s development could set a foundation for increased use of the token, but actual demand will depend on other factors such as utility and user adoption.

BNB Price Chart Patterns and Key Support LevelsCrypto With Gopal, an independent analyst focusing on digital asset markets, observed a potential double-bottom pattern forming in the BNB price chart. He pointed to the $705–$710 range as a zone where buyers have repeatedly entered, supporting the token against further declines.
The analyst described $736 as a critical neckline. Should BNB sustain a breakout above this level, it would indicate a possible shift toward a bullish momentum, with the next technical target set at $775. Gopal noted that a move past $736 must be accompanied by strong trading volumes and buying activity to confirm the trend.
Persistent buying in the $705–$710 support area is testing resistance at $736. A successful breakout here could place $775 within reach, provided volume supports the move.
Conversely, if BNB fails to break the $736 resistance level, the token may remain in its current trading range, with continued emphasis on the $705–$710 support zone. Any breach below this support could cause the bullish scenario to weaken and raise questions about further upside potential.
While a move toward $775 is possible based on technical indicators, there is no certainty it will occur. Analysts advised watching price action and trading volumes near key levels for further confirmation.
Ongoing Development in Tokenized Stocks EcosystemThe continued rise in tokenized stock market capitalization on BNB Chain represents a broader trend of integrating traditional assets with blockchain technology. This expansion brings new users and additional liquidity into the space, diversifying the blockchain’s role in the financial sector.
Market observers suggested monitoring future gains in liquidity, user activity, and transaction volumes on BNB Chain’s tokenized stocks, as these metrics will further indicate the health and adoption of the ecosystem.
If further gains in tokenized stocks occur, a closer examination of user numbers and transaction data could offer deeper insight into the network’s growth.
For BNB traders, immediate attention remains on the $736 resistance and $705–$710 support zones. Any movement beyond these levels may signal the token’s next direction in the market, with the $775 target under consideration as a potential upside if bullish momentum holds.
