The AI infrastructure trade has broadened well beyond hyperscalers and GPU designers. Institutional money is moving into the layer beneath: box builders, interconnect chips and precision sensors. Three names stand out heading into July, each with fresh Q1 2026 numbers that argue the setup is stronger than current prices reflect.
Celestica (CLS): The Hyperscaler Supply Chain Sleeper Celestica (NYSE:CLS | CLS Price Prediction) has become the quiet backbone of hyperscaler networking. Q1 revenue hit $4.05 billion, up 52.8% year over year, with adjusted EPS of $2.16 versus the $2.08 consensus. That marks the fourth consecutive EPS beat.
The Connectivity & Cloud Solutions segment carried the quarter with $3.24 billion in revenue, up 76% year over year, while Hardware Platform Solutions grew 63%. Adjusted operating margin expanded to 8.0%, a new company milestone. Management raised 2026 outlook to $19.0 billion in revenue and $10.15 in adjusted EPS, meaningful step-ups from prior $17.0 billion and $8.75 targets.
CEO Rob Mionis was direct on trend durability: “We continue to see accelerating growth from our CCS customer base… Our outlook for 2027 also continues to strengthen from just 90 days ago.” A new Co-packaged Optics Ethernet switch program with a hyperscaler is set to ramp in 2027.
On July 22, shares traded around $335.92, up 11.08% year to date and more than 114% over the past year. Analyst consensus target sits at $444.11, with 20 of 21 covering analysts rated Buy or Strong Buy. At 33x forward earnings, the multiple is defensible against a raised guide.
The risk: Customer concentration is elevated, with three customers representing 36%, 15%, and 12% of Q4 revenue. A CapEx ramp to approximately $1 billion in 2026 introduces execution risk if hyperscaler orders slip.
Vishay Precision Group (VPG): The Overlooked Sensor Play At a market cap near $1.64 billion, Vishay Precision Group (NYSE:VPG) is the classic under-the-radar name here. Only two analysts cover it, both rated Buy, with a target of $94.67.
Q1 fiscal 2026 reset expectations. Revenue reached $84.35 million, beating consensus of $77.08 million by 9.43%, up 17.6% year over year. Adjusted non-GAAP diluted EPS came in at 7 cents versus a 0-cent consensus. Bookings matter more: $102.08 million, up 25.5% sequentially, the third-highest quarterly level in company history, with a consolidated book-to-bill of 1.21 and Sensors book-to-bill of 1.36.
The AI angle is real. Sensors bookings jumped 29.0% sequentially on demand from semiconductor equipment, data centers, avionics, and military/space. Humanoid robotics orders reached $1.0 million in Q1, and full-year 2025 growth initiative bookings landed at $37.8 million versus a $30 million target. CEO Ziv Shoshani noted “all three segments reported book-to-bill ratios well in excess of 1.0.”

Shares traded around $110.62 on July 22, up nearly 182% year to date and around 297% over the past year. That gain explains why the descriptor here is “overlooked” rather than “cheap.”
The risk: Valuation is stretched. Forward P/E sits at 135x, well above small-cap sensor peers. Q1 operating cash flow turned negative at -$596,000, and analysts flagged unusual items in reported profits. Israel-based operations add geopolitical exposure.
Astera Labs (ALAB): AI Connectivity With Room to Run Astera Labs (NASDAQ:ALAB) is the most heavily covered name here. This pick reflects an under-appreciated growth runway relative to current 2026 estimates.
Q1 fiscal 2026 revenue hit a record $308.36 million, up 93.4% year over year and 14% sequentially. Non-GAAP diluted EPS came in at $0.61 versus $0.54 consensus, a 13.47% beat, extending the streak to four consecutive EPS beats. GAAP gross margin expanded to 76.3%. Full-year 2025 revenue landed at $852.5 million, up 115% year over year.
CEO Jitendra Mohan tied acceleration to product mix: “Revenue growing by 14% sequentially and 93% year-over-year to a record level of $308.4 million, driven by robust demand for our PCIe 6 portfolio.” The newly launched Scorpio X-Series 320-lane Smart Fabric Switch targets a $20 billion merchant scale-up market by 2030. Q2 2026 guidance calls for $355 million to $365 million in revenue and $0.68 to $0.70 in non-GAAP EPS.
Shares traded around $327.32 on July 22, up more than 82% year to date and nearly 180% over the past year. Analysts responded to Q4 results by raising 2026 revenue forecasts roughly 13% to approximately $1.3 billion.
The risk: Valuation is the entire debate. Trailing P/E is 296x and forward P/E is 147x. Q2 gross margin is guided to compress to roughly 73% from 76.3% as new switch products ramp, and stock-based compensation runs at $48.9 million per quarter. A beta of 3.671 means volatility works both ways.
What to Watch Next Each reports Q2 results in coming weeks. The throughline is the same: hyperscaler CapEx is still expanding, and money is flowing into the infrastructure layer beneath the GPU. Celestica offers scale and cash flow, Vishay Precision Group offers small-cap torque on humanoid robotics and sensor demand, and Astera Labs offers pure-play exposure to PCIe 6 and scale-up fabric switching. Position sizing should reflect where each sits on the risk curve.

Foolish TakeBoth Astera Labs and Navitas Semiconductor seek to capitalize on the artificial intelligence sector’s growth. Their revenue trends reveal which is successfully capturing this industry expansion. Clearly, Astera Labs is the winner here, as illustrated by the whopping 93% year-over-year sales growth seen in the first quarter.
The connectivity solutions developed by Astera Labs are critical components of AI infrastructure. They deliver superior data transfer speeds compared to previous products, and AI businesses seek speed as a key enabler of artificial intelligence technology.
That said, Navitas is undergoing an interesting transition period. Last year, the company decided to discontinue its lucrative mobile and consumer businesses in China, which accounted for 60% of its revenue in 2024. It wants to focus on power conversion and charging solutions for the AI market instead. That’s why its sales are in freefall.
However, Navitas management believes revenue will start to climb this year, as demonstrated by the 18% sales increase in the first quarter over Q4. Investing in the company at this point is a leap of faith that its AI strategy will be a winner over the long term.

Manuel Alba, a Director at Astera Labs, Inc. (ALAB 1.07%), executed a sale of 8,491 shares of common stock on July 1, 2026, according to an SEC Form 4 filing.

Key questionsWhat was the mechanism for this transaction?
The sale was executed automatically under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan that Manuel Alba adopted on May 29, 2025, which allows insiders to schedule trades in advance to avoid concerns regarding material non-public information. How are the remaining shares held?
The vast majority of the reported equity is held indirectly, with 286,863 shares owned by Casa Alameda 2007, LLC, where the Director serves as manager, and 5,000 shares held by a spouse. What is the recent performance context for the company?
As of July 2, 2026, shares were priced at $406.42, following a period of appreciation where the stock delivered a 386% total return in the year leading up to the transaction date. What is the company's current financial profile?
Headquartered in Santa Clara, the company operates in the semiconductor industry with a market capitalization of $70 billion and reported trailing twelve-month revenue of $1.0 billion as of July 7, 2026.Company OverviewMetricValueShare Price (as of market close 2026-07-02)$406.42Market Capitalization$69.7 billionRevenue (TTM)$1.0 billionNet Income (TTM)$267.6 millionCompany SnapshotAstera Labs develops and markets semiconductor-based connectivity solutions through its Intelligent Connectivity Platform, which comprises data, network, and memory connectivity products designed to serve cloud computing and artificial intelligence infrastructure markets. The company generates revenue through a software-defined architecture approach that enables customers to deploy and operate high-performance cloud and AI systems at scale, leveraging proprietary semiconductor technology and integrated software solutions. The company primarily serves hyperscale cloud service providers and enterprise customers requiring advanced connectivity infrastructure for AI and cloud computing applications.Astera Labs is a semiconductor connectivity specialist founded in 2017 that has achieved significant scale with $1.0 billion in TTM revenue and a market capitalization of $69.7 billion. The company's Intelligent Connectivity Platform addresses critical infrastructure bottlenecks in cloud and AI deployments, positioning it at the intersection of two of the highest-growth technology markets. With a lean operational footprint of 440 employees and TTM net income of $267.6 million, Astera Labs demonstrates strong operational leverage and profitability in a capital-intensive industry.
What this transaction means for investorsThis sale ultimately seems like a director trimming a rounding error off a very large win, and the proportions make that clear. Alba let go of 8,491 shares under a plan he set more than a year ago, but he still controls roughly 292,000 shares, almost all of it held through an LLC he manages. Given that the director parted with under 3% of his position on a preset schedule, selling at $458 after this kind of run is nothing to read too deeply into.
That’s also partly because the business is firing on every cylinder. Astera's first-quarter revenue hit a record $308.4 million, up 93% from a year earlier, with PCIe 6 products now more than a third of the mix and non-GAAP operating margin near 36%. CEO Jitendra Mohan tied the growth to demand for the company's connectivity platform and its new Scorpio switches ramping into the second half. Of course, it’s important to watch valuation after this kind of run-up. At a $70 billion market cap after a year in which shares have basically quadrupled, this stock is priced for years of what investors might expect to be flawless execution, so any dwindling expectations could lead to a strong reset in the stock’s price.

Astera Labs (ALAB +2.68%), an already-hot stock, had a scorching June that sent it to a new all-time high price. Several positive factors converged for the company, a maker of networking hardware and diagnostics for artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure that is knee-deep in the AI revolution.
News of a factory expansion, inclusion in an important stock index, and a clutch of positive analyst updates combined to send Astera up nearly 41% that month.
A busy summer at home and abroad On June 2, Astera announced that it was expanding its Cloud-Scale Interop Lab located in Taiwan. In its words, this will manifest in "deepening the company's engineering, operational footprint, and strategic coordination with customers and ecosystem partners in one of the world's most important semiconductor ecosystems."

AI hardware requires rigorous testing, and the dramatic expansion of Astera's capabilities in this area at a global center of chip manufacturing is sure to benefit its operations. It should also strengthen the bonds between the company and its important peers in the AI sphere.
Slightly over one week later, Nasdaq announced that, as part of its regular quarterly "rebalancing," it was adding five new stocks to its Nasdaq-100 large-cap index. That quintet includes Astera (plus CoreWeave, Nebius Group, Rocket Lab, and Teradyne, for the curious).
Inclusion on a high-profile index -- and the Nasdaq-100 certainly qualifies -- changes little to nothing about a company's fundamentals and its operations. However, it makes that company's stock an immediate and likely target for the many index funds that dip into market gauges like the Nasdaq-100 for their portfolios.
Finally, several positive analyst updates on Astera were sprinkled throughout the month. Two analysts, Vivek Arya of Bank of America Securities and UBS' Natalia Winkler, both substantially raised their price targets on the specialty tech stock. The former lifted his to $450 per share from $240, while the latter raised hers to $400 from $205.
Neither pundit qualifies as an Astera bull, however, as they both retained their neutral recommendations. That wasn't the case for Stifel's Tore Svanberg, who reiterated his buy recommendation at the beginning of the month, before the stock took off. His price target at the time was $260 per share. At the end of the month, though, this too was raised, to $460.

Late-month cooldown Sooner or later, a hot stock cools off, and Astera climbed down, albeit only a bit, from its historical peak near the end of the month.
Although the company is an excellent bet as a pick-and-shovel play on the Great AI Build-Out, I'd be a bit wary of its sky-high valuations. However, those who believe it can post out-of-this-world growth in the coming years -- as it has in the recent past -- should consider buying at the current levels.
It doesn't matter your age or experience: taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals for all investors. Luckily, Zacks Premium offers several different ways to do both.
Featuring daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, full access to the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens, the research service can help you become a smarter, more self-assured investor.
It also includes access to the Zacks Style Scores.
What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores, developed alongside the Zacks Rank, are complementary indicators that rate stocks based on three widely-followed investing methodologies; they also help investors pick stocks with the best chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.
Each stock is given an alphabetic rating of A, B, C, D or F based on their value, growth, and momentum qualities. With this system, an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on, meaning the better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform.
The Style Scores are broken down into four categories:
Value ScoreValue investors love finding good stocks at good prices, especially before the broader market catches on to a stock's true value. Utilizing ratios like P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, Price/Cash Flow, and many other multiples, the Value Style Score identifies the most attractive and most discounted stocks.
Growth ScoreGrowth investors, on the other hand, are more concerned with a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score examines things like projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow to find stocks that will experience sustainable growth over time.
Momentum ScoreMomentum traders and investors live by the saying "the trend is your friend." This investing style is all about taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook. Employing factors like one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates, the Momentum Style Score can indicate favorable times to build a position in high-momentum stocks.
VGM ScoreIf you like to use all three kinds of investing, then the VGM Score is for you. It's a combination of all Style Scores, and is an important indicator to use with the Zacks Rank. The VGM Score rates each stock on their shared weighted styles, narrowing down the companies with the most attractive value, best growth forecast, and most promising momentum.
How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank A proprietary stock-rating model, the Zacks Rank utilizes the power of earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings outlook, to help investors create a successful portfolio.
Investors can count on the Zacks Rank's success, with #1 (Strong Buy) stocks producing an unmatched +23.94% average annual return since 1988, more than double the S&P 500's performance. But the model rates a large number of stocks, and there are over 200 companies with a Strong Buy rank, plus another 600 with a #2 (Buy) rank, on any given day.
But it can feel overwhelming to pick the right stocks for you and your investing goals with over 800 top-rated stocks to choose from.
That's where the Style Scores come in.
To have the best chance of big returns, you'll want to always consider stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B, which will give you the highest probability of success. If you're looking at stocks with a #3 (Hold) rank, it's important they have Scores of A or B as well to ensure as much upside potential as possible.
As mentioned above, the Scores are designed to work with the Zacks Rank, so any change to a company's earnings outlook should be a deciding factor when picking which stocks to buy.
A stock with a #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell) rating, for instance, even one with Scores of A and B, will still have a declining earnings forecast, and a greater chance its share price will fall too.
Thus, the more stocks you own with a #1 or #2 Rank and Scores of A or B, the better.

Key questionsWhat was the structural nature of this disposition?
The sale was non-discretionary and executed via a pre-arranged Rule 10b5-1 trading plan, which allows insiders to set up a predetermined schedule for selling shares to manage indirect holdings within the Alba 2003 Living Trust. How does the execution price align with the equity's recent momentum?
The shares were sold at a weighted average price of $442.01, occurring as the stock maintained a 386% one-year total return as of the July 1, 2026 transaction date. What is the Director's remaining equity exposure following this sale?
After disposing of 10% of his position, Manuel Alba maintains direct and indirect ownership of ~1.6 million shares with a market value of roughly $675 million. What are the fundamental characteristics of the company at the time of trade?
Headquartered in Santa Clara with 440 employees, the company operates in the semiconductor industry with a market capitalization of $69.7 billion and reported 2025 fiscal year revenue of $852 million.Company OverviewMetricValueShare Price (as of market close 2026-07-02)$406.42Market Capitalization$69.7 billionRevenue (FY2025)$852.3 millionNet Income (TTM)$219.13 millionCompany SnapshotAstera Labs develops and markets semiconductor-based connectivity solutions through its Intelligent Connectivity Platform, which comprises data, network, and memory connectivity products designed to serve cloud computing and artificial intelligence infrastructure markets.
What this transaction means for investorsThere are multiple reasons an insider may sell a company’s shares without it being a bearish indication of where they think the stock price is headed. These reasons include portfolio diversification and the need to pay a large personal expense. In fact, studies show that insider sales predict a share price decline within 30 days in less than half of cases.
Still, investors in Astera Labs would be wise to take Alba’s large sale under consideration. Alba has been the chair of the business since 2018, so he knows it inside and out. He also serves on the board of five other tech businesses. While his sale takes place under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan, the decision to sell wasn’t set in stone: executives can cancel a preplanned 10b5-1 sale at any time, except when acting on non-public information. In short, if Alba was bullish on the company, he wouldn’t be selling. Especially with Astera Labs stock hitting its all-time high of $499.48 the day before the open-market sale.
While Alba has a lot of money remaining in Astera Labs, his large sale is a red flag for investors to consider when evaluating their own investment in the tech business.

Astera Labs Inc (NASDAQ: ALAB) shares are climbing Monday as strength returns to the semiconductor group, with chip stocks bouncing back from a choppy late June on renewed conviction in demand across the sector.
Astera Labs stock is among Monday’s top performers. Why is ALAB stock up today? DRAM Demand and AI Conviction Lift the GroupThe memory market set the tone. DRAM names surged ahead of Samsung’s upcoming sales report and SK Hynix’s U.S. listing later this week, sparking broader optimism that demand across the chip space remains intact. Investors are growing more confident that the AI-driven rally underpinning this bull market has not run its course with fresh evidence of compute demand from Anthropic adding to the constructive backdrop.
Capital rotated decisively into semiconductors and small caps while consumer staples, health care and utilities saw outflows. The Dow slipped into negative territory at midday despite printing a new record earlier in the session, reflecting how narrow the day’s enthusiasm has been.
Broadcom Partnership Extension Bolsters SentimentGiven Apple’s standing as one of Broadcom’s most significant revenue contributors, the agreement was read by the market as a vote of confidence in sustained chip demand and spilled over into sentiment around AI-adjacent suppliers including Astera Labs.
Astera Labs Critical Levels To WatchAstera Labs continues to show a strong upward trend on longer timeframes. The stock sits 10.9% above its 20‑day simple moving average at $392.69, 40.9% above its 50‑day simple moving average at $308.95, and more than 120% above its 200‑day simple moving average at $196.68. This stacked alignment usually signals that buyers remain in control across multiple trend horizons, even if day‑to‑day swings can be volatile.
The crossover structure supports that view. The 20‑day simple moving average is above the 50‑day simple moving average, and the golden cross that appeared in May, when the 50‑day simple moving average moved above the 200‑day simple moving average, continues to reinforce the broader bullish bias. The twelve‑month gain of 388.67% also reflects strong longer‑term momentum, although moves of that size can make pullbacks sharper when momentum cools.
Short‑term momentum is less straightforward. MACD is below its signal line and the histogram is negative, which shows that upside force has faded compared with the prior advance. MACD compares faster trend movement with slower trend movement. When it sits under the signal line, rallies often need fresh demand to regain speed.

Astera Labs shares are testing new highs. What’s behind ALAB new highs? Susquehanna Raises Outlook for Chip Equipment DemandChip Stocks Extend Monday’s StrengthALAB Technical Levels To WatchAstera Labs continues to climb in a steep uptrend and now trades far above all major moving averages. The stock sits about 26.4% over its 20-day simple moving average at $382.85 and roughly 149.8% above its 200-day simple moving average at $193.80. When price stretches this far from its trend markers, it usually signals strong control by buyers, but it also increases the chance of sharp pullbacks if momentum pauses.
The clearest momentum gauge is RSI, which currently reads 71.88. That places ALAB in overbought territory and indicates that recent buying has been aggressive. RSI tracks how extended a move has become, and readings above 70 often mean the trend can continue but volatility tends to rise as traders react to sudden swings.
The broader trend remains constructive. A golden cross formed in May when the 50‑day simple moving average moved above the 200-day simple moving average, a pattern that often supports continued dip‑buying. RSI first pushed into overbought territory in June, and the most recent swing high also occurred in June, making this area important for traders watching whether the breakout can hold or whether price drifts back toward faster moving averages.
Key Resistance: $500.00 — A round‑number level that often acts as a psychological barrier during extended rallies. Astera Labs is rated a Strong Buy, driven by its emergence as the neutral connectivity layer in AI infrastructure, not just a retimer supplier. ALAB's Q1 2026 revenue surged 93% year-over-year to $308.4M, with 76.3% GAAP gross margin and robust Q2 guidance indicating accelerating growth. Scorpio X-series Fabric Switch positions ALAB at the heart of AI rack-scale architectures, enabling deeper integration and higher revenue per AI platform.
Astera Labs' (ALAB) products are critical for data transmission in AI data centers, with hyperscaler capex and AI server GPU density driving segment growth across Aries, Taurus, Scorpio, and Leo. Scorpio is set to become Astera Labs' largest product line by 2026, supported by a $6.5B Amazon warrant agreement and superior switch metrics versus peers. Key risks include intense competition in Taurus (AEC) from Credo and Marvell, potentially constraining segment growth despite strong overall market tailwinds.
Key Takeaways ALAB posted Q1 revenues of $308.4M, up 14% sequentially and 93% year over year. Astera Labs' PCIe Gen 6 revenues topped one-third of Q1 sales, driven by Aries adoption. ALAB expects Q2 revenues of $355M-$365M, implying 15% to 18% sequential growth. Astera Labs (ALAB - Free Report) is benefiting from robust demand for its Aries and Taurus product lines, which are central to the company’s strong performance in the AI infrastructure market. In the first quarter of 2026, Astera Labs reported revenues of $308.4 million, marking a 14% sequential increase and an impressive 93% year-over-year growth.
This surge was driven by broad-based adoption across the company’s signal conditioning and fabric switch portfolios, with Aries and Taurus playing pivotal roles in supporting both scale-up and scale-out connectivity for AI infrastructure and general-purpose compute platforms.
The Aries product line, focused on PCIe 6 signal conditioning, has seen strong early adoption, particularly as AI infrastructure spending accelerates. Aries solutions are now integral to both AI fabric and signal conditioning, with PCIe Gen 6 revenues contributing more than one-third of ALAB’s total revenues in the first quarter of 2026. The company has shipped millions of PCIe Gen 6 ports to date, demonstrating the maturity and robustness of its portfolio. Aries is set to expand into PCIe 7, positioning ALAB’s leadership in intelligent connectivity solutions for AI infrastructure.
Taurus, meanwhile, has delivered solid results through the broad adoption of its Active Electrical Cable technology, which extends connectivity reach in both AI and general compute environments. The Taurus portfolio is also poised for further expansion into 1.6T Ethernet, aligning with industry trends toward higher-speed networking.
Aster Labs is benefiting from strong demand for its Aries, Taurus, and Scorpio product families, all of which are expected to drive growth in the second quarter of 2026. For the same quarter, ALAB expects revenues between $355 million and $365 million, implying 15% to 18% sequential growth.
ALAB Faces Stiff CompetitionALAB is facing stiff competition from other industry players like Marvell Technology (MRVL - Free Report) and Credo Technology (CRDO - Free Report) . Both Marvell Technology and Credo Technology are making strong efforts in the connectivity space.
Marvell Technology’s expanding portfolio has been noteworthy. Marvell Technology recently introduced the Teralynx T100, a 102.4 Tbps AI-optimized switch silicon designed to enhance high-speed connectivity and networking efficiency in large-scale AI data centers through lower latency and reduced power consumption.
Credo Technology’s expanding portfolio has been noteworthy. In May 2026, Credo Technology completed its acquisition of DustPhotonics, adding industry-leading silicon photonics technology to strengthen its optical interconnect portfolio across 800G, 1.6T and 3.2T solutions. The acquisition enhances Credo Technology’s vertically integrated AI connectivity stack and is expected to be a significant growth driver in fiscal 2027, supported by increasing hyperscale AI adoption.

Astera Labs stock is showing notable weakness. Why is ALAB stock falling? Stock Pulls Back After Monday RallyAstera Labs is giving back part of Monday's advance. Chip and semiconductor names rallied broadly at the start of the week as progress toward a U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding boosted demand for growth stocks that tend to benefit from cheaper energy, softer inflation pressure and a lower probability of additional rate hikes.
The move in oil spilled into the rates market. The 10-year Treasury yield eased 3 basis points to around 4.46%, the 2-year yield fell 4 basis points to 4.05%, and the 30-year held near 4.97%. President Trump said on Truth Social that ships were already moving oil out of the strait. Senior officials added that traffic would increase immediately even though full reopening will take longer because of mine‑clearing operations.
Stock Has Seen a Massive RunTuesday's pullback comes after an exceptional run for Astera Labs. The stock has traded between $84.78 and $398.13 over the past twelve months, which represents roughly a four-times move during that period. When a stock posts gains of that size, short-term volatility or profit‑taking after a strong single‑day rally is common.
Astera Labs Stock: Key Levels To WatchAstera Labs continues to hold a strong upward structure. The stock trades 12.7% above the 20-day simple moving average at $327.27 and more than 50% above the 50-day simple moving average at $242.21. Moves this extended often signal powerful momentum, but they can also create conditions where pullbacks develop quickly. The broader trend remains constructive because the 50-day average sits above the 200-day average, a golden cross that formed in May.
Momentum is the main near-term focus. RSI is at 70.35, which places the stock in overbought territory. This suggests the recent advance has been aggressive and that the stock may react more sharply to any cooling in risk appetite. RSI helps identify when a move has accelerated too quickly. Readings above 70 often align with consolidation phases or short‑term pullbacks.
Key Resistance: $372.50 This level sits just above the current trading area and has acted as a ceiling where rebounds have struggled to push through. Key Support: $303.00 This is a nearby zone where buyers previously stepped in and a logical area traders may watch if the current pullback deepens. ALAB Shares Are FallingALAB Price Action: Astera Labs shares were down 5.13% at $369.22 at the time of publication on Tuesday. The stock is approaching its 52-week high of $398.13, according to Benzinga Pro.

In June, a Chinese lab released a frontier-grade language model, GLM-5.2 from Zhipu AI (still private), under a permissive open-source license with a one-million-token context window. A week earlier, Moonshot AI (private) shipped a trillion-parameter open model built for coding. Alibaba Group (BABA) saw its Qwen family cross one billion downloads on Hugging Face in January, passing Meta Platforms (META) and its Llama line as the most-downloaded open models on earth. Open weights have cracked the frontier open. As the model itself becomes a commodity, the question for investors now is — where does the value go next? Much of the answer sits inside the ROBO Global Artificial Intelligence Index (THNQ).
Key Takeaways (as of June 2026): Open-weight models now rival the closed frontier on coding tasks at a fraction of the cost. Alibaba’s Qwen alone passed one billion downloads in January 2026. As models commoditize, the value moves to serving them. Nebius Group (NBIS) reports a customer cutting inference costs up to 26x. Meanwhile, Cloudflare (NET) now serves over 70 models at the edge. Microsoft (MSFT) CEO Satya Nadella now frames the divide as “human capital and token capital.” THNQ’s 53 holdings span both the open-model makers and the infrastructure beneath them. See more: AI Agent Infrastructure: Why Enterprises Need a Control Plane
The price of intelligence is falling fast. The bigger question is where those savings get redeployed. The inference, edge, and silicon sections below name the companies collecting them.
Are Open-Source AI Models Closing the Gap With GPT & Claude? The gap between open and closed AI has narrowed to single digits on the benchmarks that advisors should care about — the ones that track real work. Open-weight systems from DeepSeek, Moonshot, and Zhipu (all private) now post coding scores within a few points of the best closed models. They also do it at a tenth to a thirtieth of the cost per token. Alibaba’s Qwen crossed one billion Hugging Face downloads in January 2026 and represents more than 50% of all open-model downloads globally. Meta’s Llama 4, released in 2025, remains open-weight and natively multimodal.
For most enterprise tasks, document analysis, customer triage, code review, and structured extraction, the open model is now the rational default on cost and data-privacy grounds alone. The frontier labs keep a real edge at the bleeding edge of novel capability, but that edge narrows with each quarterly release. The model, once the moat, is becoming the commodity input.
How Distillation & Agent Swarms Make Open AI Models Production-Ready Two mechanisms are collapsing the capability gradient. The first is distillation. This is when a large “teacher” model generates high-quality reasoning traces, and a small “student” model trains on them, inheriting the capability without the compute. These can oftentimes be run on third-party clouds, or even self-owned hardware (including some consumer grade). The second is self-improving harnesses: a model proposes its own tasks, solves them, grades itself, and reinforces the better answers, compounding capability inside a company’s own walls with no data leaving the building.
Then those models get deployed in parallel. Agent fan-outs and swarms break a complex job into pieces and dispatch many specialized sub-agents at once, then merge the results. This is the expansion that matters: AI is moving past efficient problem-solving in the digital world toward learning how to solve, and actually being deployed, across multi-step, linked, and unpredictable real-world task sets. It is the same arc that we covered in Physical AI Goes Live, now playing out in software and on the factory floor at once.
Satya Nadella on Human Capital & Token Capital On June 14, Satya Nadella published an essay arguing that a frontier without an ecosystem is not stable, and it reframed the whole debate. His line: “Every company is going to have to build what I think of as human capital and token capital.” Human capital is the judgment and pattern recognition of its people. Token capital is the AI capability that a firm builds and owns. His warning to staff was blunter: avoid “tokenmaxxing,” or routing every task through an expensive frontier model when a cheaper specialized one would do. Frontier AI for frontier work, and open, distilled models for the rest.
We made the same call from a different door. After the HumanX conference in March, we wrote that there are now two types of companies: the first treats headcount and agentic token workflows as equally important inputs into how the business runs, and the second is still in discovery, without a real AI strategy. The gap between them widens by the quarter. Nadella’s framing and ours converge on one point: the durable asset is the learning loop a company owns and keeps improving, while a rented model is only an input.
Where AI Value Accrues: Inference, Edge & Custom Silicon Follow the compute. Inference, the work of running a model rather than training it, now consumes roughly two-thirds of all AI compute, up from one-third in 2023. When the model weight is free, the cost that remains is the serving of it, and that is where the margin lives.
Nebius Group (NBIS) built its Token Factory for exactly this moment: a managed platform serving more than 40 open models. One customer, the technology investor Prosus (PRX.AS), reported up to 26x cost reduction versus proprietary models. Another runs up to 200 billion tokens per day. Cloudflare (NET) routes inference across more than 70 models from data centers in hundreds of cities, placing the model next to the user, and acquired Replicate in April 2026 to deepen that catalog.
Underneath both, custom silicon is taking share: ASIC-based AI servers are forecast to reach 27.8% of AI server shipments in 2026, per TrendForce. MediaTek (2454.TW) projects more than $1 billion in AI ASIC revenue this year, Astera Labs (ALAB) grew first-quarter revenue 93% to $308 million on AI connectivity, and Credo Technology (CRDO) guided to roughly 120% revenue growth for its fiscal 2026. The weight trends toward zero. The network, the serving stack, and the silicon do not.
Frequently Asked Questions Are open-source AI models actually competitive with closed models like GPT and Claude? On practical benchmarks, increasingly yes. Zhipu AI open-sourced GLM-5.2 on June 13, 2026 under an MIT license with a one-million-token context window. Early comparisons place it level with or ahead of leading closed models on math reasoning, though Zhipu published no official benchmarks at launch. Alibaba’s Qwen and DeepSeek’s latest models now score within single digits of the closed frontier on coding, at roughly a tenth to a thirtieth of the cost per token. Qwen alone passed one billion downloads in January 2026.
If AI models are becoming “free” or “too cheap to measure” when combined with increasingly smarter, more token-efficient setups and harnesses, where does the investment value go? To inference, delivery, and expansion of automation in the real world — including connectivity and robotics applications. Running models now consume about two-thirds of AI compute. Nebius (NBIS) reports up to 26x cost reductions on its open-model serving platform and Cloudflare (NET) serves more than 70 models from its edge network. Both are capturing recurring economics that the model layer is losing.
What is “token capital”? A term from Microsoft (MSFT) CEO Satya Nadella’s June 2026 essay. He examined the AI capability that a company builds and owns, set alongside its human capital. His point was that firms which only rent models risk having their expertise commoditized and firms that own a learning loop compound an advantage.
What Open-Source AI Means for THNQ Investors This is the rare structural shift where a thematic index captures both ends of the trade. The ROBO Global Artificial Intelligence Index (THNQ) holds the open-model makers giving their weights away — Meta, Alibaba, and Microsoft. It also holds the toll roads that those models run on — Nebius, Cloudflare, MediaTek, Astera Labs, and Credo. As intelligence commoditizes, the companies that we track on the infrastructure side collect the recurring economics that the model layer is shedding. For a primer on how that infrastructure layer fits together, see our Artificial Intelligence Content Hub.
Open-source is relocating the value in AI, moving it from the model to the systems that serve and deploy intelligence in the real world. Watch inference share of compute, ASIC server penetration, and enterprise agent adoption. Those three lines tell you where the token economy is heading, and THNQ is built to own the road it runs on.

For new and old investors, taking full advantage of the stock market and investing with confidence are common goals. Zacks Premium provides lots of different ways to do both.
The research service features daily updates of the Zacks Rank and Zacks Industry Rank, full access to the Zacks #1 Rank List, Equity Research reports, and Premium stock screens, all of which will help you become a smarter, more confident investor.
It also includes access to the Zacks Style Scores.
What are the Zacks Style Scores? The Zacks Style Scores is a unique set of guidelines that rates stocks based on three popular investing types, and were developed as complementary indicators for the Zacks Rank. This combination helps investors choose securities with the highest chances of beating the market over the next 30 days.
Based on their value, growth, and momentum characteristics, each stock is assigned a rating of A, B, C, D, or F. The better the score, the better chance the stock will outperform; an A is better than a B, a B is better than a C, and so on.
The Style Scores are broken down into four categories:
Value ScoreFinding good stocks at good prices, and discovering which companies are trading under their true value, are what value investors like to focus on. So, the Value Style Score takes into account ratios like P/E, PEG, Price/Sales, Price/Cash Flow, and a host of other multiples to highlight the most attractive and discounted stocks.
Growth ScoreWhile good value is important, growth investors are more focused on a company's financial strength and health, and its future outlook. The Growth Style Score takes projected and historic earnings, sales, and cash flow into account to uncover stocks that will see long-term, sustainable growth.
Momentum ScoreMomentum investors, who live by the saying "the trend is your friend," are most interested in taking advantage of upward or downward trends in a stock's price or earnings outlook. Utilizing one-week price change and the monthly percentage change in earnings estimates, among other factors, the Momentum Style Score can help determine favorable times to buy high-momentum stocks.
How Style Scores Work with the Zacks Rank The Zacks Rank is a proprietary stock-rating model that harnesses the power of earnings estimate revisions, or changes to a company's earnings expectations, to help investors build a successful portfolio.
Investors can count on the Zacks Rank's success, with #1 (Strong Buy) stocks producing an unmatched +23.7% average annual return since 1988, more than double the S&P 500's performance.
To maximize your returns, you want to buy stocks with the highest probability of success. This means picking stocks with a Zacks Rank #1 or #2 that also have Style Scores of A or B. If you find yourself looking at stocks with a #3 (Hold) rank, make sure they have Scores of A or B as well to ensure as much upside potential as possible.
As mentioned above, the Scores are designed to work with the Zacks Rank, so any change to a company's earnings outlook should be a deciding factor when picking which stocks to buy.
Here's an example: a stock with a #4 (Sell) or #5 (Strong Sell) rating, even one with Style Scores of A and B, still has a downward-trending earnings outlook, and a bigger chance its share price will decrease too.
Thus, the more stocks you own with a #1 or #2 Rank and Scores of A or B, the better.
Stock to Watch: Astera Labs, Inc. (ALAB - Free Report) Astera Labs develops semiconductor-based connectivity solutions tailored for cloud and AI infrastructure. Its Intelligent Connectivity Platform includes high-speed, mixed-signal semiconductor products combined with COSMOS, a proprietary system management and optimization software suite. The company’s solutions are designed to enhance performance, bandwidth, and reliability in next-generation data centers.
ALAB is a #3 (Hold) on the Zacks Rank, with a VGM Score of B.
Momentum investors should take note of this Computer and Technology stock. ALAB has a Momentum Style Score of B, and shares are up 44.2% over the past four weeks.
For fiscal 2026, nine analysts revised their earnings estimate upwards in the last 60 days, and the Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.53 to $2.92 per share. ALAB boasts an average earnings surprise of +21.4%.
With a solid Zacks Rank and top-tier Momentum and VGM Style Scores, ALAB should be on investors' short list.
Nvidia (NVDA 3.39%) has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the artificial intelligence (AI) boom. Shares have already soared by more than 1,300% in the past five years. However, the next big AI stock gains may come from less obvious players.

As AI infrastructure spending expands, demand is rising not just for AI chips but also for high-speed connectivity technologies that enable the movement of massive amounts of data between servers and across data centers.
Against this backdrop, here's why these three AI-powered tech stocks are worth watching for a potential Nvidia-style run in the coming years.
Astera Labs Astera Labs (ALAB 3.08%) designs high-speed connectivity chips and hardware that enable AI chips, servers, and memory to communicate efficiently within modern data centers. AI spending is increasingly shifting away from training large models toward running AI applications at scale. Subsequently, demand for connectivity solutions that enable faster and more efficient data movement across data centers is also growing significantly. Astera is well-positioned to capitalize on this opportunity.

Astera's recent financials highlight its growing momentum. Revenue surged 93% year over year to $308.4 million, while adjusted earnings per share (EPS) rose 84.8% year over year to $0.61 in the first quarter of fiscal 2026 (ending March 31, 2026). Management now expects Q2 revenue in the range of $355 million to $365 million, up 15% to 18% sequentially.
Astera has already shipped millions of PCIe Gen 6 ports, high-speed connections that help move data quickly between AI chips, memory, and servers. These products accounted for more than one-third of the company's Q1 revenue. The company's Scorpio switch family (connectivity chips that help large groups of AI processors communicate faster) is also ramping quickly. The company expects Scorpio to become Astera's largest product line by the end of 2026 even though it accounted for just 15% of the total revenue in fiscal 2025.
The long-term opportunity could be even larger. Astera estimates it can generate more than $1,000 in revenue per AI processor deployed on a server. The company is also developing connectivity products for Nvidia's NVLink Fusion ecosystem, which is designed to help different AI processors communicate efficiently within large AI systems.
Astera's stock has already soared 225% in the past year. However, if the company continues expanding its role in next-generation AI infrastructure, the stock may soar even higher.

Marvell's growth outlook is impressive. Management expects the company's fiscal 2027 revenue to grow year over year by more than 30% to nearly $11 billion. Revenue is then projected to grow another 40% year over year to $15 billion in fiscal 2028. Marvell's custom AI silicon business is expected to at least double year over year, while its high-speed connectivity, Ethernet switching, and optical networking businesses should also continue to expand in fiscal 2028. As a result, the company expects its overall data center revenue to grow nearly 50% year over year in fiscal 2028.
Nvidia recently invested $2 billion in the company, highlighting the strategic value of Marvell's semi-custom chips and advanced optical networking capabilities. The partnership aims to help customers integrate custom AI chips into Nvidia's AI infrastructure. As hyperscalers increasingly develop their own AI processors, this could create a major opportunity for Marvell's high-speed connectivity and optical technologies.
Marvell is also expanding into AI scale-up networking, a rapidly emerging market focused on connecting large AI systems more efficiently. The company's recent acquisitions of Celestial AI and Polariton Technologies strengthen its optical networking capabilities. Hence, as AI infrastructure grows larger and demands faster, more power-efficient connectivity, Marvell's optical networking business could become a key growth catalyst.
Marvell trades at almost 61.7 times trailing-12-month earnings, indicating that investor expectations are already high. But with data movement emerging as a key bottleneck to scaling AI systems, Marvell could prove to be one of the strongest long-term AI infrastructure picks, alongside Nvidia.
Credo Technology Credo Technology (CRDO +1.59%) designs high-speed connectivity solutions that enable data movement between AI processors, servers, and networking equipment in modern data centers. One of its key businesses is active electrical cables (AEC), increasingly used for short-distance server connections due to their power efficiency and reliability.

Management also expects fiscal 2027 revenue to grow year over year by more than 50%, driven by continued demand from hyperscalers and newer cloud AI infrastructure providers. Credo also recently highlighted a fifth hyperscaler win, suggesting its customer base is continuing to expand.
Credo is trying to expand beyond being just a cable supplier by focusing on AI system reliability. The company's ZeroFlap technology is designed to reduce connection failures in large AI clusters where downtime can become extremely expensive. Management now expects its ZeroFlap optics business to ramp earlier than previously anticipated in fiscal 2027.
Credo is also preparing for the next phase of AI connectivity. The company announced a $750 million acquisition of DustPhotonics to strengthen its optical networking capabilities as AI data centers move toward faster, next-generation networking architectures.
Credo, however, is exposed to high customer concentration risk, with its top three customers accounting for 88% of its Q3 revenue. The company also trades at a very rich valuation of around 107.2 times trailing-12-month earnings.
Despite the risks, if Credo manages to expand from an AEC leader into a broader AI connectivity platform, the stock could still grow even at these elevated valuations.

5 Stocks Positioned to Benefit From the AI Inference BoomAstera Labs NASDAQ: ALAB is seeing robust demand across its connectivity portfolio and expects multiple product lines to contribute to growth through the back half of the year and into 2027, Nick Aberle, vice president of finance and investor relations, said at the 54th Annual TD Cowen TMT Conference.
Aberle said the company had reported “good results” about a month earlier and guided for an acceleration in growth in the second quarter, with optimism for continued growth inflection later in the year. He said demand remains strong from a secular standpoint as Astera seeks to build out what he described as a “connectivity backbone” for AI infrastructure.
Get Astera Labs alerts:
Nuts and Bolts AI Play Gains Momentum: Astera Labs Targets RaisedHe said the company has expanded beyond its core I/O connectivity products, Aries and Taurus, into more complex offerings including the Leo CXL Memory Controller and the Scorpio Smart Fabric Switch portfolio, which targets both scale-out and scale-up opportunities.
Scorpio X-Series Expected to Be a Key Growth Catalyst Aberle said Scorpio X-Series is expected to be “a great catalyst” for revenue for the remainder of the year and into 2027 as the company broadens across additional customers. He said all of Astera’s product lines are growing sequentially into the second quarter, and the company expects every product line to keep growing into the third quarter, fourth quarter and next year.
5 AI Infrastructure Stocks Smart Money Is Buying Before the Next SurgeAccording to Aberle, Scorpio X-Series addresses a market opportunity of more than $10 billion, which he said represents nearly half of the company’s total addressable market. He said the product carries “extremely rich” content and average selling prices, allowing it to move the needle more than some other parts of the portfolio.
Aberle said Scorpio X-Series has been in development for a long period of time, with pre-production volumes shipping in the second half of 2025 and early volume production beginning in the first quarter. He said the portfolio now includes both smaller-radix and larger-radix solutions, which are shipping in the second quarter.
While acknowledging that volume deployment in complex AI systems remains challenging, Aberle said the company is confident in its current position and expects Scorpio X-Series to be a “nice driver” in the back half.
Taurus and Aries Remain Important Pieces of the Portfolio On Taurus, Astera’s active electrical cable product for Ethernet connectivity, Aberle said the company views optical connectivity as incremental and additive to copper, rather than a direct replacement. He said copper continues to have a long life cycle due to its power, reliability and cost characteristics, and should remain preferred wherever the needed reach can be achieved.
Aberle said the Ethernet-based AEC market is still in early stages as the industry transitions toward 800G and eventually 1.6T. He said Astera sees an opportunity for AEC to take share from passive copper, while also expanding Taurus to additional customers.
Aries, Astera’s PCI Express retimer portfolio, also remains a significant contributor. Aberle said Aries grew roughly 70% year over year in 2025, even as it fell as a percentage of total revenue because other products grew faster. He said Aries once represented more than 90% of revenue and is now roughly in the range discussed by the TD Cowen moderator, around two-thirds of revenue.
Aberle said Astera is in the early stages of transitioning to PCI Express Gen 6 and that Gen 6 represented a little more than one-third of total revenue in the first quarter. He said he was not aware of anyone else shipping PCI Express Gen 6 products in volume today. On a like-for-like basis, he said Astera expects about a 20% ASP increase generation over generation, along with higher attach rates as faster speeds require retimers in more locations.
Optical Roadmap and NVLink Fusion Aberle said Astera has been building its optical capabilities for at least a couple of years, including assembling a team, developing resources and mapping out how to address the opportunity. He said the work is being done closely with customers and aligned with their roadmaps.
The company has discussed optical-based revenue in 2027, including from a standalone fiber coupler and from near-packaged optics applications, Aberle said. He described the XScale acquisition as meaningful because coupler technology is important to the scalability of an optical engine and was outside Astera’s typical internal capabilities.
Aberle said Astera is developing an electrical IC, photonic IC and related packaging, test and manufacturing flow internally. The company’s goal is to create an optical engine that can be built around Scorpio X to create a co-packaged optics solution for customers, while also being usable on the other side of the link around a customer’s AI accelerator.
He also discussed Astera’s role in NVIDIA’s NVLink Fusion concept, saying the company provides a bridge or translation layer between a customer accelerator and NVIDIA’s backend scale-up topology. Aberle said the work requires deep collaboration and is a custom solution rather than a multi-sourced product. He said the company has discussed one collaboration publicly, with others “percolating.”
Supply Chain and CXL Activity On supply chain, Aberle said Astera has been building its backend operations with scale and volume in mind for a long time. He said the company has a good understanding of its allocation profile on both the front end and back end through 2027 and feels comfortable with its supply position, including room for upside.
However, he noted that other components in AI racks could still create bottlenecks outside Astera’s control and potentially delay program rollouts. Aberle said Astera typically builds buffer into expectations around timing and ramps to stay conservative.
Aberle also said interest in the Leo CXL Memory Controller has increased, particularly for AI inferencing applications, as memory prices rise and supply tightens. He said hyperscalers are evaluating ways to optimize memory performance and cost. Astera has discussed a new design win with a hyperscaler customer for a customized version of Leo to be used for CXL connectivity within an AI inferencing appliance, which Aberle called a potential first step toward meaningful revenue momentum in CXL.
Customer Conversations Focus on Longer-Term Connectivity Challenges Asked how customer conversations differ from investor discussions, Aberle said customers are focused on a three- to five-year horizon, including future accelerator capabilities, rack architectures and scale-up requirements. He said those plans create significant challenges for the connectivity backbone of AI infrastructure.
Aberle said Astera’s discussions with customers are not only about revenue opportunities in 2026 or 2027, but about solving next-generation connectivity challenges in 2028, 2029 and 2030 across both optical and copper technologies.

Astera was stellar in May In its fiscal first quarter, Astera Labs saw revenue jump 93.5% to $308.4 million, with adjusted (non-GAAP) earnings jumping 84.8% to $0.61. Both figures handily beat analyst estimates. Management also strongly guided to $360 million in revenue at the midpoint for the current quarter, which would amount to very strong 26% quarter-over-quarter growth.
Aside from the strong results, Astera stock jumped again on May 19, rising over 17% at one point on the day, after the company presented at an industry conference and a sell-side analyst raised its price target.
At the J.P. Morgan Global Technology, Media and Communications Conference, CEO Jitendra Mohan gave very positive commentary on the company's growth outlook, particularly the ramp for Astera's new data center switch chipset, the Scorpio X fabric switch. Mohan said the product should ramp to become the company's largest product by sales by the end of the year. That's an exciting feat, given that Astera just introduced the Scorpio X in early May.
That same day, tech analysts at Evercore ISI raised the firm's price target on Astera shares from $215 to $297. The analysts cited positive channel checks, noting that the progression of agentic AI is placing an onus on low-cost-per-token inference, which requires several types of chips, not just expensive training-oriented GPUs. The optimization across GPUs, CPUs, ASICs, and memory requires ever-increasing connectivity, which benefits Astera's product portfolio.

Put Astera in the AI winner basket Astera is up 250% over the past year, and currently trades at a lofty 105 times this year's earnings estimates. Like several other semiconductor stocks that produce GPUs, CPUs, memory, connectivity, or the machines that build these chips, just about every company exposed to the agentic AI build-out has had a fantastic year.
Still, at these levels, valuations are quite high, and a pullback is to be expected. One might have begun, in fact, on Friday. That being said, Astera should be a part of any investor's "basket" of AI beneficiaries to buy on any large dips.
That's because the AI build-out seems set to continue. Given the massive investment news we have seen recently, including Alphabet's announcement that it will raise $80 billion in stock to fund its AI build-out, the chip bull market seems set to continue over the next couple of years.
Anthropic filed confidentially for a U.S. initial public offering (IPO) on June 1, 2026, days after closing a $65 billion Series H financing round that valued the company at nearly $1 trillion. The maker of Claude is officially coming to public markets, and Wall Street's initial beneficiary list starts with Amazon and Alphabet, both of which hold substantial equity stakes.
But the more interesting question isn't who holds Anthropic equity. It's who holds Anthropic's infrastructure contracts. Claude isn't a software business, it's a compute business. And the companies building the machines Claude runs on could be the quieter beneficiaries of this IPO moment.
Why the IPO changes the calculus When Anthropic goes public near a $1 trillion valuation, it will need to show investors a credible path to supporting that number. That means building more capacity, faster. Anthropic has already committed to spending more than $100 billion with Amazon Web Services over the next decade, securing up to 5 gigawatts of compute capacity. Separate agreements with Google lock in another 5 gigawatts. That is 10 gigawatts of contracted artificial intelligence (AI) compute demand from a single company -- before the IPO even happens.
Here are five companies that are positioned to benefit from the infrastructure build-out that follows.
1. Celestica Celestica (CLS 2.15%) is the company that integrates GPUs, custom silicon, and networking gear into finished, tested racks that hyperscalers actually deploy. As of April 2026, the company has made its DS6000-series 1.6 terabit Ethernet switches -- hardware designed to handle the cluster density that Anthropic's training runs demand -- available to order. In March 2026, Celestica also announced a strategic collaboration with AMD to bring the open-standards Helios rack-scale AI platform to market. When Anthropic builds out capacity, someone has to assemble and deliver the racks. Celestica does that for some of the largest hyperscalers.

2. Credo Technology Group Credo Technology (CRDO +1.59%) supplies the Active Electrical Cables connecting GPUs inside AI clusters. Anthropic's $100 billion AWS compute commitment will translate into physical servers that need Credo's cables. The company's three confirmed hyperscaler customers all have direct Anthropic relationships. The connection is indirect, but structurally real.

3. Astera Labs Astera Labs (ALAB 3.08%) designs the semiconductor connectivity silicon that lives inside the AI rack -- PCIe retimers, CXL memory controllers, and Ethernet fabric switches. In May 2026, the company launched the Scorpio X-Series 320 Lane AI Fabric Switch, the largest open memory-semantic fabric switch available, now shipping to leading cloud customers. Astera's technology manages signal integrity between chips inside a cluster, making it a critical layer in the infrastructure Anthropic needs at scale.

4. Coherent Coherent (COHR +0.15%) provides the optical transceivers that connect servers across a data center. Nvidia invested $2 billion in Coherent in March 2026 and signed a multibillion-dollar purchase commitment for optical networking and laser products. As Anthropic's clusters grow, optical demand grows with them. Coherent's data center and communications segment posted $1.36 billion in revenue for the third quarter of fiscal 2026.
5. Marvell Technology Anthropic's compute expansion depends heavily on Amazon's Trainium custom AI accelerators. Marvell Technology (MRVL 4.77%) is one of the primary architects of custom silicon for hyperscalers, with 18 confirmed XPU sockets in its pipeline. When Amazon scales Trainium to honor its Anthropic commitments, Marvell's design wins convert to revenue.
At Computex on June 2, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said that Marvell Technology is a potential trillion-dollar company. Investors responded enthusiastically, sending Marvell shares soaring 33% in a single trading session, the largest one-day gain in the company's history. The rally added approximately $56 billion to Marvell's market capitalization, lifting its total value above $250 billion.
The risk across this theme is real. Anthropic's IPO could be delayed or scaled back, slowing the pace of infrastructure commitments. And with capital spending on AI at record highs, there's a genuine question about how much of this build-out is already priced into each of these stocks. None of these are hidden gems in the traditional sense, but they are structurally tied to a demand driver that just became very public.

Astera Labs stock price has gone parabolic in the past few months, mirroring the performance of the semiconductor industry. ALAB jumped to $346 on Monday, up by 253% from its lowest point this year, with its valuation jumping from $16.6 billion in April to $60 billion today. Still, the company faces some major risks, with analysts predicting a pullback.
Astera Labs is a top player in the technology industry, where it builds the connective tissue inside data centers. Instead of making GPUs, the company makes chips and software that enable GPUs, CPUs, memory, and networking gear to communicate with each other well.
The company solves a major problem that has existed in the data center industry for a while. Modern AI platforms use thousands of chips that work together, and moving data between them is a key bottleneck.
Astera Labs stock price has, therefore, surged this year because of the ongoing data center boom in the United States and other countries. Top companies like Meta Platforms, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon are spending over $750 billion in their data centers this year.
The most recent numbers showed that Astera Labs’ business was firing on all cylinders. Its revenue jumped by 14% sequentiually and 93% on a YoY basis, making it one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry. It made over $304 million in revenue, beating what analysts were expecting by far.
This growth happened as the company announced the Scorpio X-Series 320-lane Smart Fabric Switch. It also expanded its Scorpio P-Series PCIe-6 Fabric family that now spans from 32 to 320 lane configurations.
Astera Labs made a net income of $110 million, representing an operating margin of 36.2%. Analysts believe that this growth momentum will continue as the data center boom gains steam.
The average estimate is that the company’s revenue jumped by 87% to $360 million. It will then grow by 78% YoY to over $410 million. As a result, the annual revenue growth is expected to grow by 81% this year followed by 42% next year. This means that it will make $1.55 billion this year, followed by $2.19 billion next year.
Still, the main challenge for Astera Labs stock is that it is highly overvalued. Data shows that it trades with a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 153, much higher than the sector median of 32. The forward PEG ratio stands at 2.31, also higher than the sector median of 1.36.

The daily chart shows that the ALAB share price has surged from a low of $98.17 in March to a high of $372 this year. It recently surged above the crucial resistance level at $262, its highest point in September last year.
The Relative Strength Index has moved from the overbought level of 83 to the current 65. In some instances, it is common for a highly overbought stock to retreat amid profit-taking.
Astera Labs stock has also moved further away from its historical moving averages. For example, its current price of $346 is much higher than the 100-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) of $203. This means that it may retreat because of a concept known as mean reversion.
If this happens, the next key level to watch will be at $262, its highest point in September. This target is slightly above the average estimate among analysts, which stands at $233.
Key Takeaways Astera Labs posted Q1 FY2026 revenues of $308M, up 14% sequentially and 93% year over year.
